First thoughts TTPD:

What a lana x folklore girlie win this issss!

1.Fortnight is about matty?? HAHAHAHA also why did this make me think of when holt was going running with the ladies when he was in witness protection??? Crying. Fav line has to be they were supposed to take me away but they forgot to come and get me. So sad but also so cool in relation to her cancellation/return. 10/10

2. TTPD- not so hahahaha anymore IS THIS ACTUALLY A FUCKING MATTY HEALY ALBUM??? There was a typewriter at the 1975 show she performed anti-hero at? Unless its somehow about harry? Like sure he was great and he is still my biological father and everything but as a decidedly melancholy person myself who has constantly had atleast one close friend in a deep depression I can see how all that heavy lifting can just get heavy at some point especially when youre a partner and their sole lighthouse in wtv storms be out there buffeting their mental health. Its not for everyone and thats so fair and so valid but so sad as well. 10/10 for the honesty.

honestly, i cant even only blame superman for henry leaving

i mean i know that superman check is huuugggeeeee but henry's had the chance to go back several times over, it seems like that man has literally been running from it (despite all the shit he's been saying in recent interviews)

im not saying he didnt love superman, of course he did. that role really had his career taking off and that's not something you can just ignore, but he was so so much more passionate about the witcher

it was clear since before the first season even came out, he adored the video games and the books and he was so honored to be bringing a new light to things. i feel like he loved geralt more than any of the other characters he's played, or at least he loved what geralt could've been

ultimately, i feel like too many creative differences is what led to his final decision (with the nudge of how much fucking money superman is gonna make him)

henry's been very vocal about how displeased he is with the inauthenticity of the show for a very long time. season 2 (from what i heard) was so far off it was just disrespectful, and this decision of his makes me fear for season 3.

i dont doubt henry's love of geralt, and i don't doubt that he wanted the show to be better. i feel like, in the end, he just didn't want to stick around for something that was so so big to him being toyed with.
