#Reunion

I wanna speak this out louder.

This is about that so-called-reunion.

Gue pernah dateng ke suatu acara reunian kecil dan ditanya "Kapan nikah? Si itu aja udah mau nikah, masa lo belom, kalo gue jadi lo sih ga mau bgt gue diduluin ihhh"

Hahahahaha whatttt???? Nikah itu balapan ya emang? Gue jujurrrr baru tau prinsip ini. Ga ngerti lagi. Fyi yg nanyain td orangnya sudah menikah dan otw punya anak

Let me break down that moment a lil bit ya.

1. Can we normalize kalo orang tuh punya kehidupannya masing-masing yg ga bisa dipukul rata? Umur 25 mungkin lo udah mapan udah nikah udah punya anak, org lain umur segitu lagi berjuang dapetin PhD nya, yg lain sedang berusaha jd ceo, malah ada yg lagi kesusahan cari kerja atau bahkan lagi nangisin skripsinya yg ga kelar-kelar. Kalo lo punya hati dan otak yg jernih, seharusnya paham tentang roda kehidupan yg ini.

2. Ini kan reuni ya? Coba sih menghargai orang yg udah menyempatkan dateng. Saat itu gue merasa, "njir, gue mending ga usah dateng tadi daripada dikasih pertanyaan memojokkan kaya gitu, mending gue ngurusin olshop gue di rumah atau menghibur diri nonton Bangtan"

3. Tolong dijaga omongannya, kalaupun itu niat baik, buat memotivasi orang, bisa kan diatur kata-katanya supaya manis utk didengar. Udah dewasa udah bisa ngurus keluarga kecilnya, masa yg beginian aja ga bisa.

4. Rezeki, Hidup, Mati, Jodoh, itu bukannya rahasia Allah ya? Kalo lo nanyanya ke gue, sumpah gue ga bisa jawab karna planning pun belum ada. Kalo emang butuh jawaban cepet mending menghadap Allah buruan, tanyain buat gue.

Case ini cukup mengganggu gue sih, karna ga nyangka pertanyaan itu bakal keluar dr mulut temen gue yg sebenernya orangnya baik. Cukup sakit hati, dan sejak saat itu gue jd milih banget kalau diajak hangout, sama siapa aja mau ngapain aja. Cause I don't wanna waste my precious time again to hear a stupid same question.

Tambahan, yg mungkin pengen juga nanya gue dgn pertanyaan yg sama, jawaban gue, "Belum, karna memang belum ketemu jodohnya sepertinya, doakan aja secepatnya dipertemukan Allah ya. Nanti kalo udah ketemu I'd love to share that exciting news to you"

Tambahan lagi, aku doain juga supaya yg belum bertemu jodohnya cepet dipertemukan juga ya, aamiin. Tp inget, yg terpenting adalah selalu bahagia ya 😊

SPEAK

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Jaya. She was standing by the river, feeling the cold breeze hitting her face. She was so happy as finally her dream came true. Suddenly, a teardrop left her eye as she saw a glimpse of her past, she quickly wiped it off and returned home.

( FEW YEARS AGO)

Jaya was from a small town of orthodox people. She used to be herself, a bubbly and charming girl but as she grew older her parents got her forcefully married in a local family and everything changed. She wanted to become a film- director as she wanted her voice to be heard through her movie but her dream shattered. She was not able to stand for herself. She was totally broken and on top of that, she faced a lot of discrimination at her in- laws.

A girl who used to be herself was not even in a situation to look after herself.

One day, she sat all by herself in the bathroom and cried out loud and asked herself “do i really deserve this kind of life?, why do I have to live like this?, don’t I deserve something better than this?”.

That day, she realized that she was not being fair with herself. She never loved herself and always lived for others. She did speak and stood by herself but no one even tried to hear her.

A few days later, when things went out of her hands, she finally burst her emotions out on her in-laws and everyone was very shocked after seeing her sudden outburst but still no one cared to hear her. She was left with no other option but to run away. She somehow managed to steal some money from her house and ran away with her belongings to a city that was totally unknown to her. She faced many hardships, but gradually managed to work for what she wanted step by step.

Running away was not easy but was the best decision of her life as she became a film- director later and lived a happy life. She changed a lot of people’s perspective through her movies and also got a lot of awards.

She realized that you can love someone else starting with loving yourself and no one’s going to speak unless you do.

MORAL

In the end, it’s just you so speak up.

just let me know this cause I tried to think of every possible reason but I couldn't get any solid reason or an understandable definition as to why.

"weren’t you the one who wants to get too close to me..? just now why are you trying to leave..?"

I didn't even know your name, your face, your voice or anything. you came up to me and started to talk with me. it was you who took the first step in everything...at first, I was very careful and very quiet, but I risked thinking you're not like others...but what was different? OH! you were good at faking and deceiving that was different! you were already popular, school heartthrob, rich, have friends, intelligent. but for me on the other hand, I was shy, introverted, insecure, trauma's, anxieties and was broke...I didn't have anything special to brag about. I never talked until you talked or if it was necessary. I never tried to catch your attention as others did. then why was I the one who had to suffer all this? I know I can handle it well, I know I can hide it so well that no one will know I'm suffering, but that didn't mean I deserve it!! like seriously, all the moments and memories we had, you never NOT EVEN FOR ONCE felt loved or loved me!? I tried so hard. I thought I could change you. I took the risk, I took the bait, I took every torture, I took every hurtful word, action. even after witnessing that I was just a bet I still loved you. even after witnessing you making out with other girls I still kissed you! only god knows how much I loved you! I never wished or will wish to have never loved you cause if I didn't give me all I would feel like I was at fault. I gave everything but got nothing in return and that's okay. I learned my lesson...I freaking knew what hell meant after that! the very first thing I did was say "let's break up" and I don't regret saying it. I said regret not feeling hurt! it hurts so bad, but I can't let myself hurt like this. this person doesn't deserve my time, my care, my love, my affection. but I still can't help but think about "why?"

why? why do you have to leave when I got attached to you? why now of all the damn times you had in past. you could have left when I didn't care so much when I didn't love so much when I didn't get so attached.
