hi! i love your work and was wondering if you’d write a one shot where reader is thor’s younger sister and it’s her first time visiting earth. she’s clueless and doesn’t know how anything works 😩 wanda and nat get super smitten and eventually fall for the reader 😳 can we also get some protective big sister hela ♥️♥️♥️
Goodbye forever..
Pairing: Natasha x Wanda x Reader
Warning: Language, fluff, little bit of angst :3
Summary: First time visiting a place and being left by your brother, Thor for safety, falling into hands of Natasha and Wanda, will they help you adapt?
Word count: 4.1k
My requests are always open so feel more than welcome to pop in a suggestion for the next story :3
⸻⸻⋙☸🗲⋘⸻⸻
"Asgard is in danger at the moment so I had to bring her down here Stark" Thor explained as you stood not far from him as you looked around.
"That's not what I'm saying, she doesn't know anything here and I can't babysit her, I am a busy man if you haven't noticed" Tony raised his concerns.
"I'm not asking you to babysit her, all I need is for to stay here until Asgard is clear from whatever is putting it in danger" Thor had that charm at convincing people to what he wants, which was working on Tony.
"What if she leaves or something? Or accidently hurts someone with her powers, she's still young and doesn't know her full strength" Tony was sitting down as he slowly started to crack, but there were doubts.
Thor looked back at you as you stared at the one of the tools that were laying around "She is young but she has been trained by me and Loki but if you're still worried, Wanda knows how to control her powers so she can train her and just keep an eye out. She is the strongest so she can easily over power her"
There was a moment of silence as Tony thought "Okay, I will brief Wanda about this"
Thor smiled widely as he was quick to give the rather smaller man a hug "I will be back as soon as possible"
Tony nodded with a small smile himself as he asked for Wanda, Thor turned towards you and took couple steps towards you which caught your attention "Y/n"
You looked at him with a smile "Brother"
"You'll be staying here for now until I came back from Asgard" He place his hand on your shoulder.
"I could help you fight in Asgard, you don't need to leave me here" Convincing Thor was a lot more harder than anyone really thought.
"We already spoke about this Y/n and you know my answer to that, I will try to visit but until then I'm ordering you to stay here and you can't leave" Thor stood straight as he slightly tensed when this was mentioned again.
You nodded, it's not like you had a choice and he nodded back "Good" Just in time Wanda walked in as she saw Thor since he was blocking you from her view, he turned with a smile at her sight, to which Tony walked out.
He hugged you "They will take care of you don't worry"
You nodded once again as you let a tear slide down your cheek, this was a big change, you didn't know anyone here and you was slightly afraid but only slightly.
He moved to the side to which now Wanda had a full view on you "Wanda, that's Y/n, you'll be training her. They will brief you now I have to go" Tony explained as he walked out.
Wanda raised her eyebrows at Tony but her gaze shifted to you and Thor to which she took couple steps, Thor rolled his eyes at Tony "Well anyways, this is Y/n as Tony said, she will be staying here for some time before I came back so I just need you to keep an eye out and keep her out of trouble so Tony doesn't try to kill me"
Wanda nodded as she smiled at you "Okay, that's not a problem, If I understood from what Tony said I will be training her?"
He nodded "Yes, she has powers even though she has them under control but just in case, just give her some tips or something"
Wanda wanted to know why you were here but she didn't want to cross any lines, she will find out if you tell her and that's what she will stick to.
"Well I have to go.." He stated as he awkwardly waited for Wanda to stop staring at you.
"Okay, I will show her around then" Wanda looked at Thor with a smile as he nodded, he gave you the last hug and walked off.
You followed Wanda around as she showed you everything, your room, meeting room, party room, training room, anything that she knew of, the last was the living room where most of the team was.
No one knew you were Thor's sister and you didn't know they didn't know so you just went along with it, as soon as you walked into the living room, the TV caught your attention.
Wanda stood near the kitchen as she faced you "Well this is the living room where the team usually relaxes after missions"
"And there is the kitchen to make food, usually I cook since they can barely make toast without burning it" She pointed towards the door that led to the kitchen.
You looked and smiled "Thank you, I think I understand everything now"
She nodded "Well if you have any questions, you can ask me"
This pulled the teams attention toward Wanda, their eyes landed on you and they quickly gathered around the two of you "Who is this?" Steve asked as he crossed his arms.
"This is Y/n, Thor brought her here from Asgard for the time being, so she will be staying with us" Wanda simply explained.
They all nodded and Wanda asked again "So Y/n do you have any questions?"
You nodded with a small smile "Yes, why are there people stuck in a box?"
Natasha frowned in confusion "People stuck in a box?"
You nodded as you pointed towards the TV "There, they seem to be frozen"
Natasha along with everyone looked over to see what you were talking about, Natasha tried her best to keep her chuckle in as she looked back at you "It's a TV, this is already recorded so we are just watching back"
Your lips turned into a perfect O shape as you nodded "Oh that's definitely new"
Sam held his face as he stared at you "You don't have TV's in Asgard?!"
You shook your head "That is not a thing, no. We have advanced technology there"
"Well, besides that I'm Steve" He reached his hand out for you, you looked at Wanda a little clueless to which she giggled slightly and showed you what to do.
You smiled widely at the hand shake, and then moved to Sam and Bucky and Bruce, they all shook your hand but when it came to Natasha, you leaned down and kiss her hand as she introduced herself.
They all stared at you with shock, Natasha didn't pull away which was more of a shock for the team, you turned back as you looked at the team "Is this not normal for people to do?"
They shook their head with awkward smiles "Not really, unless you're are rich and you're looking for a business deal"
You nodded slowly and looked over at Wanda "Don't worry I will teach you everything"
You gave a quick nod as you excused yourself to go back to your room, to which the team went back to watching the movie but Natasha lingered near Wanda.
"What is it Natasha?" Wanda asked as she knew it was her.
"Do you mind me tagging along?" The redhead didn't waste any time.
Wanda looked at her with her brows raised "Really? But why?"
She shrugged "I have nothing else to do"
Wanda tilted her head "Didn't you just tell the team you were overloaded with mission reports?"
"Well they aren't interesting unlike our new female recruitment" Natasha leaned on a door frame as a small smirk made it's way to her lips.
"Yeah okay, it will be easier with another person around" Wanda nodded to agree and started to prepare things to cook.
⸻⸻⋙☸🗲⋘⸻⸻
For few weeks, Natasha and Wanda trained and taught you how to be more human, which you really appreciated. It wasn't as bad as you thought this stay would be, you grew fond of the two women quite quickly.
The witch and the former assassin felt the same, well they were more aware of what those feelings were but for you it was a lot more harder to understand why you wanted to spend more time with them than the rest of the group.
The two women started to fall in love with you and each time it was harder to hide. The team had their suspicions to which they were confirmed each time.
There was this one time...
"Okay, we need to somehow get some clothes for Y/n" Tony stated as he tried to think of a loophole.
You was standing in front of him, being quiet and just waiting for them to come up with a solution, your attention shifted to Steve "We can always just go shopping with Y/n"
Bucky raised his brows at Steve "As if you know anything about women's fashion"
Steve frowned "I rather think of myself as an expert"
Sam laughed "Yeah an expert in messing up, she would look like fashion show gone wrong"
Tony even manged to crack a smile at the comment "Sorry Steve but no"
Steve dramatically huffed "You guys are so mean, you need to give me a chance"
A voice spoke up from behind them "Give you a chance for what Steve?"
You turned around at the familiar voice, as you saw Wanda and Natasha walk in, a smile spread across your lips at the sight of them and you waved at them and quickly going back to your serious face after they wave back.
"It seems like Steve wants to buy me clothes" You spoke up for the first time since you was called in her.
"That's a terrible idea" Natasha spoke up this time as she walked past Steve with Wanda and stood next to you.
"Thanks for the support Romanoff" Steve sounded offended at the comment, earning a laugh from Wanda.
"You know what, just leave it up to us Tony, we will take care of this little issue" Wanda proposed the idea to which Tony quickly agreed and went on with his little project.
And so Wanda and Natasha snuck you out and went on a shopping spree to find you better clothes. You looked like you were from the medieval rather than from this century so a new wardrobe was in desperate need.
You ended up buying a lot of clothes and decided to explore a bit before coming back, you had like 10 bags in one hand and it was still light to you, it was pretty impressive and definitely Natasha with Wanda admired the way your muscles would flex.
The amount of dirty jokes Natasha had to swallow down, Wanda didn't even need to look into her mind, she was thinking the same thing.
You stopped abruptly as you looked at the creature before you "Stay behind I will protect both of you"
Natasha nearly bumped into you to which she peeked to see what you were talking about "Protect from what Y/n?"
"That creature" You narrowed at the dog that was walking lazily with it tongue out.
Wanda looked at Natasha with a smile at how cute you were with your knowledge "It's a dog, not a creature Y/n/n"
You looked over at Wanda "A dog? It wont try to attack us?"
She shook her head with a smile, she pulled the woman's attention who was walking the dog "Sorry, do you think my friend can pet your cute dog?"
The woman was quick to agree with a big smile across her lips, Natasha kneeled down and you followed her lead, she placed her hand over yours, you felt goose bumps at the contact and she placed your hand on the dogs head.
"See, it just loves pets" Natasha spoke softly to you as she watched your reaction.
You were sceptic at first but gently petted the little dog, a smile slowly appeared across your lips as you looked over to Natasha, inches away from her face, if heart eyes were real Natasha would definitely have them in that moment.
"It's harmless.." You stated out practically with disbelief.
Wanda smiled as she placed her hand on your shoulder, she felt her heart melt at the scene in front of her "Okay, let's go and grab something to eat"
You looked at the woman in front of you and thanked her politely "She really trained that creature very well"
"Why do you call it a creature?" Wanda asked curiously as she linked her arm with yours and so did Natasha.
"Well in Asgard we have Fenris Wolf, they are a lot bigger but very violent and it did look like Fenris so I was worried it would try to hurt you both"
They were melting, the way you felt like you had to protect them from a Fenris Wolf and put yourself in danger first, it was adorable and there was slight worry in your tone.
"Well" Wanda spoke with a huge smile "Thank you for worrying"
You smiled back and looked between the two women who were on either of your side "You shouldn't thank me, ladies should be treated like treasure"
An innocently precious look settled across the two women's faces at your words, their eyes filled with adoration and love, you were perfect and that's what they loved about you.
Or this time...
You had woke up pretty early, having your mind set to preparing breakfast for the two redheads, you wanted to do something nice for how they both took care of you and always made sure that you felt a little bit less loner here.
You knew how to cook but it was a little difficult to make anything here with earth ingredients, that didn't mean you would give up, you make sure Natasha and Wanda taught you how to use something called internet, you managed to search up videos and taught yourself how to make food.
With a smile at your success, you delivered your food to their beds, Natasha and Wanda shared a room together which made it a lot easier to give them your hard worked breakfast.
You memorized the way they did their coffee and quietly walked inside their bedroom, with food and coffee in hand. You placed it down as you slowly started to wake the women in bed.
Wanda was quicker to wake up, she sat up as she stared at you "What is wrong Y/n/n?"
Natasha slowly stirred as she opened one eye and looked at you and half awake Wanda, she never was a morning person so she groaned at being woken up.
"I have made food for my two favourite ladies" You stated simple with a innocent smile.
Wanda rubbed her eyes and finally was able to take in the smell and the sight of the food, it was waffles with blueberries and whipped cream, it was both of their favourite.
She looked at you again "Thank you Y/n/n"
She looked over at Natasha who had a smile but her eyes were shut "Yeah thank you Y/n I really appreciate food in bed"
"You welcome Lady Natasha"
Wanda giggled at how you called her "You didn't have to do this"
You stood up as you walked over to the food and give Wanda her plate and Natasha as well "Nonsense, I will be forever grateful how yous have treated me, with most care and respect so I shall give back something as well"
Natasha smirked "You should definitely feed me if you want to give back something"
Wanda raised her brows at Natasha's comment to which you proceed at her command "Anything you wish for Lady Natasha"
Natasha chuckled as she waved her hand to dismiss you "I was joking Y/n but I appreciate your dedication"
"You are most certainly welcome" You bowed down in front of them, earning nods and slight giggles.
This was just a pure moment between the three of you, something that the redheads treasured and adored, it was those moments that made them realise how important you had become to their simple lives, you bright them up and surprise them each time which was new compared to the boring days on earth.
If we were to go through all of the times, we would be here for days, but the point has been made to why the team had their suspicions.
Weeks turned into months and you definitely was better and had a better grasp on your powers, you learnt their language properly and slang which made expressing a lot more easier.
The only thing you struggled was your feelings, asking was a lot more complicated since you didn't quite understand what you should even ask, you wanted to just be with them and when you learnt about something called kissing, it never left your mind.
To understand it better you searched everything they had on kissing on the internet, realising it's something you wanted to do, something you wanted to experience with Wanda and Natasha.
So now that you understood that, you were determent to ask about it to Wanda and Natasha, making your way towards the meeting room where they were.
You opened the door and almost immediately they looked up at you "Y/n/n what brings you here"
You felt hot just at them looking at you "Lady Natasha, Lady Wanda" You bowed as you always did.
Natasha noticed your nervous to which she stood up and Wanda followed, she walked over to you with a soft smile "Why are you nervous Y/n?"
You smiled nervously at her "I wanted to talk"
Wanda followed right after with a soft smile just like Natasha's "What do you want to talk about Darling" They slightly trapped you in between them which you didn't mind at all.
You took a deep breath and just as words were about to leave your mouth, a familiar voice to you spoke up but to the redheads it was unknown "There you are Y/n"
You turned to face the voice as Natasha took a step in front of you along with Wanda, her hands ready to fire away with red mist, what took them off guard was your question "Sister Hela?"
They looked back at you with shocked faces, the tall woman stood in the same place but just opened her arms for you, to which you gladly took, you hugged her.
Living on earth for long and having company made you forget that Asgard even existed in the first place "What are you doing here?"
"I will get to that in a second, right now I want to know why these two trapped you?" The protective sister was activated as she death stared the two women in front of her.
You pulled away from Hela as you looked in the direction of the two redheads "They didn't trap me, they are cool don't worry"
"Cool?" Hela questioned as she raised her brows at you "Is this the language they teach on earth?"
She shook her head "I knew your brother did a mistake taking you here"
Natasha crossed her arms "I'm sorry but who are you?"
She looked with no emotions at Natasha "Hela Goddess of death?"
"Doesn't ring a bell" Natasha spat out with a cold glare.
"Thor's sister?" She answered but more in a question tone.
Wanda looked from you to Hela as realisation hit her "If you are Thor's sister... And Y/n is your younger sister.. That means Thor is Y/n's brother"
You nodded simply "Yes, I thought everyone knew"
Wanda facepalmed herself "Of course! That's why you were so clueless of everything on earth and your powers! You are a goddess"
Wanda looked up at you with the most huge smile anyone had witnesses, she was impressed and surprised at her discovery, Natasha spoke up with a smile "Damn she's more badass than we thought"
"Well, this interaction seems nice but I'm here because it's safe to come back to Asgard, Thor sent me to fetch you" Hela cut in before this can go any further.
You looked at Hela "Asgard is safe?"
She nodded with a smile "Yes, you can come back home"
Those smiles that were on the redheads lips, fell almost instantly at Hela's words. They didn't want to lose you, there was an obvious pain in their hearts at this news but they decided to stay strong.
You nodded at her "Is brother Thor here?"
"Yes, I believe he is talking with some people inside, so now let's go so you can say your goodbyes with everyone" She spoke up as she placed her hand on your shoulder.
"Okay sister" You agreed as you looked over at Natasha and Wanda.
"We are right behind you Y/n/n" Wanda spoke up through the pain in her throat, she was going to break and she didn't want you to see.
You nodded and your sister led you towards the rest of the people, you hugged Thor as you commented "Nice haircut, I really like it"
He laughed "Thank you Y/n, the long hair was really hard to fight with"
You nodded and pulled away, so you started off by saying goodbye to everyone, they had grown pretty attached to you and your weird outbursts, they grown to love you as you and your food.
The last two people that were left were Natasha and Wanda, you walked over to them. You wished you had realised what you felt towards them and acted on it before you had to come back.
They both hugged you, each face on your shoulders as you whispered "I wish I could stay more but it isn't my choice"
Natasha had a sad smile as she whispered back "Everyone has a choice детка (baby)"
You pulled away and looked at Wanda who let tears finally slide down her face, you wiped it with your thumb as you looked into her eyes "I will miss yous"
Wanda nodded as she chocked out "We will miss you too, make sure to visit more often"
You nodded and finally returned next to your brother and sister, you couldn't stop your heart practically breaking at the sight of Wanda's eyes looking like a waterfall, whilst Natasha tried to act strong.
It felt like everything was muted until Thor spoke up "Have you gathered everything important Y/n?"
You looked up at him, in this moment you knew what to do "No"
He tilted his head "Well then go bring that important thing to take with us"
"It's impossible" You stated.
"How so?"
You looked over at Hela who had a proud smile across her lips "Are you sure Y/n?"
You nodded as you wiped a tear from your cheek "Okay, what's happening that I don't know off"
"Forgive me brother but I will not go to Asgard because I'm not leaving what's important to me" You spoke up with more confidence.
There was a gasp from practically everyone in the room but you only heard Wanda's "I am staying here because this has became my home when you left"
You looked back at the two redheads "I don't want to leave them because they are important to me and I think I might have feelings for them"
Thor had a smile across his face so when you finally looked back at him, he spoke "Okay Y/n, I'm glad you are able to decide for yourself and what you need"
His gaze shifted to the Russian and the Sokovian "I'm glad you found a home in these two"
You looked back with a smile as you made your way towards them and finally blurred out "I want to kiss yous"
Wanda giggled whole heartedly as your outburst as Natasha giggled with her brows raised perfectly "Are you sure?"
"You said everyone has a choice, so I chose to want to kiss the both of you" You said in one sentence so nervously to which Natasha proudly smiled and pulled you into her face, kissing you and you kissed her back gently, just like you were.
You pulled away and instantly Wanda collided her lips with yours, guiding you and preventing herself from deepening the kiss in front of everyone, she pulls away, leaving you wanting more, just like whenever you would spend your time with them.
"Okay okay, enough" Hela spoke up with slight disgust in her voice, causing the three of you to look over and turn the whole room into giggles.
"But I swear if my little sister ends up heartbroken, I will haunt you two redheads to the rest of your life" There was seriousness in Hela's tone and they both respectfully nodded, acknowledging Hela's words.
This time you were saying goodbye, not to the people you met here but to your previous life and welcoming the new beginning with open arms....

Manipulate Me
Summary: As Peter travels Europe as a normal kid, the world’s peril throws a wrench in his plans. With you by his side chaperoning the trip as an undercover S.H.I.E.L.D agent, the mysterious introduction of Quentin Beck leaves you breathless.
Pairing: Quentin Beck/Mysterio x Fem!Reader
Word Count: 2.8k
Warnings: None!
A/N: Thanks so much for requesting this @mrs-blooooom ! I had a great time writing for Quentin Beck again. For context, reader is Peter’s older sister but also happens to be a shield agent (it was the easiest route of explanation as to why she would be meeting with Fury and Maria Hill). Requests are currently OPEN and you can check out who I write for in my request guidelines tagged in my bio. Thanks for reading! :) *gif not mine* I do not own any of the dialogue from the film.
Tumblr media
“May-”
“-And don’t forget the passports! Oh! The passports!”
“May!”
May stopped scrambling around the apartment only to find that you had the two passports already in your hand. The tired aunt pushed her disheveled hair out of her face, pushing her glasses back up her nose, and slowly calming down. It was fine... Peter had you, Peter had all his friends, Peter would be fine in Europe.
“Everything is going to go fine. I’ll be with him at all times and if he decides to wander off and do his Spiderman stuff––well then I’ll just have to call in some Avengers to stop him.”
“I trust that you’ll be able to keep him out of trouble if it comes down to it.” May picked up Peter’s suitcase off the floor and listened to his heavy footsteps draw down the hallway and into the living room where you had gathered with her.
“All ready?” He asked with those inquisitively wide eyes that reminded you so much of your mom. May handed him the suitcase but not before capturing the boy in a tight hug. Her “motherly” instincts grew since she returned from the blip. It was strange without the two of them. You, stuck here in New York without a leader in either Fury or Tony and the remaining members of S.H.I.E.L.D, Avengers and then the developed Sword, were left to pick up the pieces and build a life without them. That was the most difficult part.
“Promise me that you won’t get into any trouble?” May asked Peter who in reply rolled his eyes with a chuckle.
“It’s just a school trip. Besides, Y/n is going to be there and I’m sure she’s told you a million times that she can keep me in check.” You smacked the side of his head but he just ignored you and turned to the door, opening it with a rough pull with his spider-y force.
“We’ll see you in a few weeks, May!”
If you were able to take back all the words you said and never go to Europe, you would ask Stephen Strange to reverse time.
Venice was a mess. The water-creature-man-thing...? had erupted the small city into a chaotic terror with locals and terrified students trying to find cover. Peter was somewhere flying with webs while another hero whom you had never seen before was assisting him. After a few minutes of trying to guide a group of students to safety, you secured cover underneath an awning in front of a store.
“Ms. Parker! What do we do!?” Flash was almost in tears from fear which you couldn’t help but judge. It was water? the kid survived Thanos’ snap so he could survive this. Not to mention Fury would have your ass if any of the kids died on your watch.
Out of nowhere the ground started to fill up with water and cracking of concrete or bricks began echoing throughout the small courtyard you trapped them all in. The green man came swooshing in with a cloud of smoke, almost like an illusion, and stopped the water with the sheer force of his magical abilities. The creature reformed into what looked like a water man and the green man dodged the attack with made the sound of bricks tumbling increase in intensity. Suddenly, the tower to your right began crumbling and you pulled as many students as you could closer to the building you sought shelter next to.
“Get back! Get back!”
“Who is that guy!?” Jason, one of the students shouted out but you couldn’t answer the question because you didn’t know.
“I don’t know, but he’s kicking that waters ass.” Brad voiced exactly what you would have said.
The green man continued to fight the water as the tower crumbled beside you all and then, like the blink of an eye, the monster was gone and the water scattered, soaking your shoes with a safety that was much welcomed. The man landed to sounds of cheering from the students and locals that found themselves in the same spot as you. But something was different.
Maybe it was the fact that you couldn’t see his face, or maybe the fact that you had never heard of this hero and you literally worked for the agency that worked with them all. Maybe he wasn’t from this world? Space? Another universe? You could have sworn that you heard of the idea of a multiverse.
But maybe it was the fact that beneath all that smoke and mirrors that made up the helmet of the mysterious man, it felt as though when he looked around at his admiring fans, his eyes trained on you, staring through your soul with some feeling that wasn’t welcomed or unwanted either. Intrigue, that’s what it was. And when he flew off, everyone was left with a curiosity that sparked a great debate throughout the entire world. Who was this man?
Well, the T.V. at the hotel identified him as Mysterio. Peter managed to make it back in one piece which you were able to celebrate in a brief moment outside before the voices of interested students and the television interrupted the moment. Betty and Ned were searching every website for some kind of clue but nothing other than what the news reported was to be taken as fact. It wasn’t aliens, it wasn’t witches, it was just another hero.
So that was what you went with. That was until you opened your door to Fury sitting in a chair next to the window.
“Oh my God!” You shrieked and Fury laughed, laughed, at you.
“You scare too easy.”
“What are you doing here? I thought you were in spa-”
The slight reveal of a green hand made you shut up. "Fury” tilted his head with a slight “Ah, well.”
“Is this about that Mysterio guy?”
“We’ve got him at a site. Says he’s from another Earth and that these creatures destroyed his own and intend to destroy this one too.”
“Another Earth? So, the multiverse.. it’s real?”
“Fury” didn’t respond to that, but he simply rose and gestured over his shoulder to the window.
“There is a car outside. Go and wait in it while I go get Peter. The big man told me I need to scare the kid.” You smiled at the thought as the man left to go retrieve your brother.
You had been part of the world of superheroes far longer than Peter had. You had been there when Loki first attacked New York way back when and that seemed like so many years ago. With the blip, it seems like an entire eternity. Nick never let you in on his secrets of his relationship with Carol Danvers, but you had met the Skrulls when you went on a mission three months ago to visit Monica Rambeau in space. Unlike her, you weren’t blessed with some badass powers, though she didn’t always have them.
Peter looked terrified walking out to the car and when he saw you inside, he breathed a sigh of relief that he wouldn’t be alone. The site of S.H.I.E.L.D in Italy wasn’t far from where you had all taken up residence for the last day or two, but it was secluded, down in the catacombs of old buildings that no one would suspect. It reminded Peter of a Mission Impossible movie that you had watched with him before the two of you left for Europe, he felt more like a spy than a superhero in that moment.
As you walked behind the two down the long corridors of the abandoned treasure that was used as a make-shift S.H.I.E.L.D, you were surprised to see Maria at a computer, though now knowing about Fury, you were sure it wasn’t even her. The center of the room was filled with scattered agents who you weren’t familiar with and then a projection in the middle of the room, along with the man without the helmet.
You weren’t one for fawning over men. Jesus, you worked with Thor sometimes and while you were aware of his Godly looks, you never gawked. But this man, he wasn’t a God, he was just naturally beautiful. Dark hair, blueish-gray eyes that surely did pierce your soul, and a stature of a man who knew how to carry himself with power in the world. It was like he walked out of your dreams and into reality.
“This is Mr. Beck.” Fury introduced you and Peter to the man. Mr. Beck approached Peter with a small smile and held out his hand. Peter looked nervous but responded with his own shake.
“Mysterio?”
“What?”
“It’s just what my friends were calling you.”
“Well, you can call me Quentin. You handled yourself well out there today. I saw what you did with the tower. We could use someone like you on my world.”
Peter looked puzzled but Quentin looked behind the boy to you. He held out his hand with another smile which you returned. Maybe there was a shock when you touched hands, but you were sure it was just your imagination.
“Y/n Parker, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
“It’s good to meet you, Y/n.”
“Likewise.”
Did time rush by faster when you were in the presence of someone you were obviously attracted to? Yes, because before you knew it, the night was over, and Fury was leading you and Peter back out to the car. Peter was absolutely smitten with Quentin and could hardly break conversation. The man gave the attention to Peter like Tony did. It was like life imitating itself in another time. Quentin reminded you so much of Tony. Smooth with words, handsome, gifted in almost an unfair way, and he took an interest in the last piece of close family you had. You wanted nothing more than for Peter to have a figure in his life to give him a positive purpose. With Tony gone, he’s struggled trying to find his niche again.
“See you, kid.” Quentin looked disappointed but hopefully that his and Peter’s paths would cross again one day, even with Peter trying to avoid being identified by his class or the world. At some point, someone would figure it out if they hadn’t already.
“Yeah, see you.” Peter said as he walked out, following Dimitri, who Fury ordered to keep Peter in check with you. You were more than capable of doing it yourself but for some reason, Fury felt the need to send another agent.
“Good luck, Quentin.” You told him and he nodded his head, glancing at the holographic map of Venice next to him.
“I fear I’ll need it. But I’m hopeful that the good luck will be for more than just winning this fight.”
Swoon. That’s what you did for the remainder of the night and into the early morning. You couldn’t sleep a wink after the revelations that Quentin relayed to you and Peter about the elementals. That worried you too. How in the world was Peter supposed to sit by while other heroes with indisposed and couldn’t help? Sam and Bucky were on their own missions, Carole and Monica were off, Stephen and Wanda were no use and Thor was off on his own adventures with that team of riff-raffs from space–you know, the one with the talking tree.
But somewhere in all the jumble of thoughts, the scenery of the canal that had been a scene of something far different, calmed the noise. Enjoy the trip. This was the first time in years that you had traveled for something other than work and yet it was still filling every thought and moment. The thoughts were so loud and invasive that you didn’t register the person coming up to your right, ready to take the bag off your shoulders. You felt the tug and turned around, ready to punch the person but they dogged it, pulling it off your shoulder. It was a game of tug of war for the bag, but the person was strong.
“Let go! I said let go!” You pulled as hard as you could, therefore the bag came flying back to you and its contents spread across the sidewalk. The person glanced at the wallet on the ground and then back at you before you both dove to the ground. They grabbed it first and you tackled them to the ground. Wrestling with grunts and yells, you hadn’t noticed the audience of one that rushed to help. A blast of green light shot the person off of you and you clutched the wallet to your chest tightly, trying to reel in your ragged breath.
“I heard yelling from my hotel...” The hero started only to realize that it was you and with a turn of your head, you had realized it was him, Quentin.
“Oh! Are you alright?” He extended a hand, which you readily took to stand. He then helped collect the scattered items and put them back in the now ripped bag before handing it back to you.
“I’m fine. Thank you.”
“It’s no problem.” There was a brief, awkward lull but you weren’t sure what else to say.
“So, do you always wander around at night in a city you don’t know?” It was an icebreaker, a line that he knew would make you at least chuckle.
“No... I just had a lot on my mind. What you told us in there–it’s a lot of information to retain.”
“I’m sure an agent like you could handle it though.” You smiled bashfully at the compliment. Quentin gestured over his shoulder and shoved his hands in his pockets. You realized he wasn’t wearing his uniform anymore but just a pullover sweater and some dark jeans. How he shot the green light in the first place you didn’t know, but all heroes worked a little differently you suppose.
“Would you like to take a walk? I promise I won’t try to steal your wallet.”
“How do I know I can trust you?” The conversation was so light, and carefree that for the first time in a long time, you felt like a normal person. Quentin returned your cheeky smile and began walking.
“I’m pretty sure a woman like you could figure out who trust and who not avoid. Isn’t that what they train you for? Agents?”
“I suppose so, yes.”
“Can I ask you something?” You asked Quentin and he looked at you with a nod of his head.
“How did you know the elementals would turn up in our Earth?”
“Intelligence. My wife, she had worked for our version of your agency. Before they came to destroy our city, one had already manifested itself in Mexico. It was as if there would be a pattern to follow. So when she passed, I used her intelligence to figure out where they might be, which led me here.”
“I’m sorry for your loss.”
“Thank you, it’s been some time now. She would be glad to see Peter helping me, and you helping out with the cause.”
“Peter really took a liking to you. I could see it in the way he could barely contain himself.” You laughed, changing the heavy subject to one more light.
“He’s a good kid. You’re related I assume?”
“My little brother.”
“You should be proud of him. He is doing a lot of good for the world. I just wish he was more confident in his abilities to realize identity protect isn’t everything.”
Quentin was right, it wasn’t everything. But it was more than identity for Peter. It was also no Tony to lead the way, his want to be a normal kid, his need to have friends and well, MJ to like him. But neither of you would know what it was like to be a teen hero, that was a lot of unneeded pressure.
“It seems that I brought you around full circle.” The sound of Quentin’s voice broke the silence and the realization that you were outside the barely standing hotel. You sighed and tugged the bag on your shoulder.
“Thanks for saving the day, Mysterio.”
“Anything to help protect Agent Parker.”
If you hadn’t just met him a few hours ago, you would have asked him to come upstairs but that was far too forward for the world you created for yourself, so you extended your hand as he had earlier.
“May our paths cross again.”
He grasped your hand tightly and agreed.
“Hopefully under better circumstances.”
You watched then as he walked away, unaware of the man underneath the facade of Mysterio. How he already knew who you were, knew all your secrets, and was ready to manipulate you to take down the institution that denied him success so many years ago.

A Midgardian Christmas | Loki x Reader | Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Tumblr media
Pairing:  Loki x Reader
Summary:  Christmas time is here and you are so excited! Loki does not share your enthusiasm. With the help of Peter Parker, the two of you decided to help Loki feel the true joy of Christmas. And perhaps a bit of romance as well.
Warnings: fluff
-
Christmas Eve
You couldn’t believe that Christmas Eve was finally here. The holiday season had flown by and you couldn’t even remember where the time had gone. After much consideration, you had finally settled on a gift for Loki. Peter and you had gone ice skating down in Central Park. You had fallen more than skating which had bruised more than just your ego. But it had been great fun just the same.
Tony decided to have a Christmas party in the Tower on Christmas Eve. Pepper had gone all out with the decorations and the rooms looked like a winter Christmas wonderland. Dress code was formal and you had enlisted Natasha to help you pick out the perfect dress for the occasion.
You spent the first part of the evening glancing around the room looking for the God of Mischief. He was nowhere to be found. You even had inquired with Thor as to his whereabouts.
“Not to worry. I am sure my brother will be here at any moment. As you know, he likes to make an entrance.”
Thor patted you on your shoulder. Though you had never admitted to him, he knew exactly how you felt about his brother. The attention you had paid to him this holiday season had made it abundantly clear you were smitten.
As if on cue, you heard the elevator ding and the doors open and Loki emerged. He was dashing as always.
While most men had opted for a classic tuxedo, Loki upped the ante. His tux was impeccably cut, showing up his broad shoulders and narrow waist. His lapels were black velvet and his cuff links were emerald. His shoes shone like a mirror.
You could feel him make eye contact with you as you looked at the floor in embarrassment and rushed off to the bar. Loki seemed startled your abrupt exit so he followed you.
“Is everything alright?” he inquired.
You swallowed your drink in one gulp, burning down your throat.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” you choked out, trying to sound normal, “why do you ask?”
You looked up at the Asgardian with eyes pleading to drop the issue. Loki seemed to pick up the hint.
“Well I was just thinking a lovely dress like yours shouldn’t be hidden away.”
“Well you are not looking so bad yourself.”
“Shall we?”
Loki offered his arm. With slight trepidation you took it and he led you to the makeshift dance floor. Tony had opted for a like a swing band. you secretly think it was a ploy to get Steve to dance. But regardless, it added a sense of elegance and glamour to the party.
Loki spun you once, with your mermaid skirt twirling around your legs and then pulled you in close. His hand felt cool on your bare back and you shivered slightly.
“Chilled?”
“No, I’m fine.”
You settled in a bit closer and placed your head on his chest. He adjusted his hands to account for your position and you both began to sway to the slow melody.
You could definitely get used to this.
You closed your eyes and secretly wished for the moment to never end.
Loki took several deep breaths and tried with all his will to slow his heartbeat.
She can’t know how much I am enjoying this.
Your body felt warm and welcoming against his. With your head on his chest, he could smell the hint of your shampoo and perfume. He wanted to continue to breathe in the heady scent but was afraid of drawing attention to himself.
The two of you continued to sway to the music. You were completely oblivious to anything else other than your dance partner. Had you scanned around the room, you would have seen Tony and Thor elbowing each other and gesturing at the two of you. Clearly Loki and you were not as discrete with your feelings as you thought you were.
The song came to an end and you push back slightly so you could look Loki in the eyes. The green eyes seemed to be twinkling. You smiled.
“Thanks for the dance.”
“My pleasure,” he responded.
He continued to stare in your eyes. The intensity was overwhelming and you broke eye contact to stare at the floor, which suddenly became the most interesting thing in the room. You fiddled with your fingers and you felt long fingers slide under your chin. Loki swiftly pulled your chin up and tilted it towards his face. You closed your eyes and raised up on your toes to reach the tall God’s face. You were preparing yourself for the kiss you had been waiting for since you had laid eyes on the god.
“Hey, Mr. Loki, mind if I have this next dance?” Peter interjected, once again ruining a moment.
“Sure, Master Parker.”
Loki spun you out and extended his arm, before presenting you to Peter.
“Oh Master Parker,” Loki spun on his heel to address the young man, “I hope you enjoy you Christmas presents.”
“Thanks Mr. Loki!”
Loki walked again and grinned to himself.
Peter clumsily wrapped his arm around your waist and you grabbed his other hand to place it on your shoulder. This song was more upbeat than the last, thankfully.
After a few awkward moments and at least once stepped-on toe, you felt a tap on your shoulder.
“Hey Underoos, why not let a man show you how it done?”
You had never been so grateful for Tony Stark than in that moment.
Tony expertly weaved you around the floor.
“Thanks, Tony. Or my precisely, my feet thank you.”
Tony smiled.
“Anytime. Sorry I didn’t get to the kid sooner. Looks like you and Reindeer Games were getting along quite well.”
You could feel the blood rushing to your face.
“You saw that!?”
“I think everyone in New York saw that. Except for maybe the two of you.”
“Thanks for pointing that out. I am not sure he is that interested in me.”
Tony pushed you back from him and wore a look of shock.” “Are you serious? I have never seen a man or god more smitten. You know he asked everyone in the Tower what to get you for Christmas. Even Clint and Natasha.”
It was your turn to shock.
“Clint? I had no idea.”
“Oh you believe it or I can show you the security footage of him trying to work up the courage to knock on the door for 30 minutes.”
Your mouth dropped open.
“Actually, strike that. I use it for the year in review meeting in January.”
With that thought, Tony turned to make some calls. You scanned the room for Loki but you could not spot his raven hair anywhere. You went to the bar but he was not there either.
Dejected, you went to go back to the party and sulk when one more place came to your mind. You headed straight to the elevator. It seemed to take ages for the doors to ding. You stepped in and punched in the number.
After much time, the doors opened up to the residence floor. The entire floor was dark except for the lighting Peter and you had painstakingly hung earlier. You could see a tall brooding figure standing by the tree, holding a small package.
“Loki?” you questioned.
He turned to face you and then swiftly crossed the room to meet you.
“I would have thought you would have continued to enjoy the party.”
You could see his shoulders slump in disappointment.
You started to twirl an errant piece of hair.
“Well…it just wasn’t the same without you. I mean your brother offered to keep me company…”
Loki’s eyes flashed in jealousy.
“That oaf would not know how to show a lady a good time if it bit him on the nose.”
You chuckled feeling at bit emboldened. You reached over and grabbed his lapels to pull him towards you facing each other.
“Besides, I believe you and I have unfinished business.”
You smirked at Loki as his face wore an expression of confusion.
“I am not entirely sure what you mean.”
“Well first of all, we are standing under the mistletoe.”
You gestured up towards the arch. Loki looked up and then looked back you. With a glint of recognition, he smiled and stepped even closer, subtracting whatever distance was left between the two of you.
You placed both hands around the back of his neck and pulled up onto your toes. Loki leaned down and finally pressed his lips to yours.
The kiss was warm and electrifying all at once. You pull Loki deeper into the kiss and sigh softly. Loki took that opportunity to slide his tongue into your mouth. His kiss was eager and hungry. The two of you finally parted, both of you breathing heavy.
“Yes, that unfinished business,” Loki said, breaking the silence, “And for once with no interruptions from pesky teenagers.”
You laughed out loud.
“Yeah, Peter did have the worst timing ever.”
You noticed he was still gripping a small present. The bow now flattened and paper wrinkled. You gestured towards that.
“What’s that?”
Loki suddenly blushed.
“Well, it is your Christmas present, darling.”
You smile at the term of endearment.
“Can I open it now or do I have wait until tomorrow?”
You secretly hoped he wouldn’t make you wait. Then you would have the perfect excuse to give him his present early.
“If you want, you may open it now.”
He awkwardly handed you the small box.
You tore off the paper and bow and lifted the lid of the small white box. Inside was a small blue velvet box. It was jewelry box. You swallowed hard as you lifted the lid. Inside was a delicate silver necklace, hanging from it was an ice blue gemstone cut into the shape of heart. Your eyes started well up with tears.
Loki cleared his throat.
“Most of the team suggested jewelry. Particularly Stark. It was Mr. Barton who suggested a symbol of significance.”
“And what is the significance of the heart?”
You weren’t letting him off easy.
“Well,..ehehehe…simply put that my cold Frost Giant heart is yours.”
You blinked and felt tears trail down your cheeks. You felt Loki’s fingers wipe away the streams of tears.
“I am sorry I have upset you. I should go.”
You grabbed Loki’s arm as he turned to leave and pulled him into a short but tender kiss.
“Do I look upset?” you questioned as you parted from him.
“Well the kiss says no, but your tears indicate sadness.” “You ridiculous god. They are tears of happiness.”
You went to the tree and rummaged around until you found a small bag.
“Here you idiot. Open your present.”
Loki seemed shocked as you thrust the bag into his hands. The Asgardian pulled the tissue paper and turned the bag upside down; a small box landed in his outstretched hand.
He shook the box and heard a dull rattle. You rolled your eyes at the show.
“Just open it.”
Loki lifted the lid and saw an ordinary key with a ribbon tied around a key chain.
“What is this?”
“A key to my room,” you stated.
“Why?”
Loki clearly was not catching the hint.
“So you can come and go as you please without drawing too much attention. Plus, you know that thing about symbols. Well this is a symbol of you holding the key to my heart.”
You stared back at Loki as he looked between the key and you. Then a devilish grin came across his pale face. He grabbed your wrist and started dragging you away.
“Where are we going?”
Loki looked back and grinned.
“I figured I would put my present to immediate use.”
You started laughing as Loki led you down the hallway to your door. He put his key in the door and unlocked it. He pushed the door open and then heaved you over his shoulder to carry you into the room before shutting your front door with his foot.
Christmas Day
The next morning, you were awaken at an ungodly hour by an insistent knock on your door. You shuffled your way out from under Loki’s arm and trudged yourself to the door. It was Peter.
“It’s Christmas! I am waking everyone up for presents and hot chocolate. Have you seen Mr. Loki? He didn’t answer his door. Not even his usual grunt.”
You shuffled your feet to close the gap between the door and the wall just in case a certain god decided to walk out of the bedroom.
“You know what, Peter. I will go and try. Maybe he didn’t hear you.”
Peter smiled and gave a quick thanks and he took off down the hallway towards his next victim.
You quickly shut the door and went to roust Loki. You dug through your drawers and found some baggy pajama pants Loki could fit in. You went over to his edge of the bed and began to shake Loki.
“Loki, you need to wake up and get dressed.”
With quick reflexes, Loki grabbed you by wrist and pulled you into a deep kiss, exploring your mouth with his tongue. You moaned as he attempted to pull you on top of him.
“I think…” he growled as he toyed with the straps of your top, “you need to come back to bed.”
You resisted but not too hard.
“I can but we will miss Peter and everyone else opening their presents,” you purred back, nibbling on his neck, “not to mention the rumors that would certainly circulate due to our absence.”
At the mention of Peter and presents, Loki sat up in bed.
“Mr. Parker is going to be opening present. Oh, darling we can’t miss that.”
And with that he was already pulling on the pants and attempting to tame his hair.
“I didn’t realize you were particularly interested in that.”
Loki shot you a devilish grin.
“Oh I am very interested in Mr. Parker’s present.”
“Loki what did you do?”
But Loki was more interested in getting you out the door than answering your questions. By the time the two of you got to the main area, everyone else had gathered around the tree. Everyone except Peter wore expressions of varying degrees of sleep and annoyance. Peter had apparently ruined everyone’s morning.
Tony and Peter took turns passing out the presents. Everyone’s presents seem pretty standard. Except Peter’s.
“Wow, thanks…Mr. Stark. I always wanted a giant pink fully unicorn and rainbow glitter pens.”
Peter was clearly disappointed but Tony was proud.
“I just used your list. I thought some of things were a bit unusual but I never quite understand what you kids are into these days.”
You realized Loki must have switched the lists. A glance over to the beaming god confirmed your suspicions. While you felt bad for Peter, you weren’t going to rat out Loki. You would get something nice for Peter in after Christmas sales as an apology, so to speak.
As you turned to grab a cup of hot chocolate, you felt a heavy arm slam down on your shoulder.
“Where did the two of you go last night?” Thor inquired, his arm tightly wrapped around you and Loki.
“Umm….” you started to explain until Loki interrupted.
“We decided to exchange presents earlier,” Loki offered.
Thor then noticed the necklace around your neck. He clapped Loki hard on the shoulder.
“Excellent work, brother! A lovely token of sentiment. And what did you get my mischievous brother?”
You looked over to Loki to see eyes pleading to not tell the truth. You were interrupted by Steve.
“Hey, why is Loki wearing your pajama pants?”
You were certain the two of you had been caught when Loki saved you.
“These are my Christmas present. She had seen me admiring them and bought me my own pair.”
You breathed a sigh of relief as the two men walked away, seemingly believing the story.
“You owe me a pair of pants,” you whispered.
“Oh, I can think of something much more inappropriate for you to wear to bed,” Loki growled into your ear.
You smiled and thought about all the nights and days ahead. Merry Christmas indeed.

Chapter One, 1234 words
Summary: Prince Asmund meets an enchanting stranger at a party and instantly becomes smitten (fic under the cut)
Honey-golden light saturated the room in its warm glow. Upbeat fiddle music filled the air, partygoers laughing and chattering above the swirling notes. Asmund smiled from the side of the grand hall, waving at his friends who drunkenly called to him from the dancefloor. He chuckled softly to himself as one of them stumbled over their own feet and landed with their face in a plate of food. Asmund shook his head amusedly, leaning back against the wall as he took a drink of his ale. The cold burn lingered on his tongue for a moment before extinguishing itself.
A crowd had begun to converge on the other end of the hall, raucous cheers and claps occasionally rising from the group. Asmund craned his neck to see what the commotion was all about, but only caught a brief glance of grinning faces and sloshing drinks. Pushing off from the wall, he walked into the dancefloor, making his way through a lump of giggling drunk villagers unsuccessfully attempting to dance.
As he made his way closer to the crowd, the pace of the strings sped up. Asmund smiled, recognizing it as a popular drinking song he’d heard dozens of times before at parties identical to his own. Over the hum of the fiddle, a voice like velvet belted out the lyrics. The prince stopped in his tracks, his copper eyes widening. The voice was ethereal. The most enchanting, beautiful, welcoming he’d heard in his life, even if they were singing a bar song. It reminded him of stars, of sitting on his windowsill with his back to the fire, watching stars glimmer far away in the heavens.
Men traner danser og fossene stanser
når hun synger, hun synger “kom hjem”
Asmund tapped a lady-in-waiting’s shoulder as the voice continued on singing, the crowd joining on the chorus with cheerful clapping. She turned around, half-shouting over the din, “Yes, Your Highness?”
Asmund caught a brief glimpse of soft, curly black hair from behind the lady-in-waiting. Shaking his head almost imperceptibly to focus, he looked back at the woman.
“Do you know who it is singing?” he asked, feeling ever so slightly self-conscious for his question. Her smile grew and she shrugged loosely.
“I’ve never seen him before, Your Grace, but he’s got quite the voice, you know.”
The prince nodded, staring past the servant as he tried to catch sight of the singer once again. The crowd had obscured him from Asmund’s view but he was determined to meet the owner of the most gorgeous voice in the kingdom. An absent-minded thanks passed his lips as he maneuvered past dozens of people and through the circle surrounding the singer.
The song slowed as it reached its end, the instruments fading to a whisper as the voice carried the last verse.
I stormsvarte fjell, jeg vandrer alene
Over isbreen tar jeg meg frem
I eplehagen står møyen den vene
og synger “når kommer du hjem?”
He broke through the crowd of people, and his breath flew from his chest in an instant. Ringed by dozens of guests stood the most stunning person Asmund had ever seen. The whole of the party seemed to fade away as he watched the man finish his song. He turned, golden and green robes fluttering around his legs, facing Asmund with a smile that made it seem like he’d been there waiting just for the prince to arrive.
The first coherent thought was that the singer’s eyes were unearthly, in a fascinatingly beautiful way. They seemed to glow with a soft green fire, and Asmund couldn’t make himself look away. Did the man even know how easily he’d captured the prince’s attention?
He seems to have some idea, a voice whispered to him. His eyes hadn’t moved from Asmund’s for more than a millisecond, and a teasing smirk had spread across his lips. Still singing along to the slowed music, he approached Asmund. The prince’s face went warm as the enchanting stranger leaned in. It could have been a glass too many of ale, but he could have sworn the man’s hand glowed the same beautiful emerald as his eyes as he reached out. His singing dipped as he tilted his head closer to Asmund’s.
“You had this stuck in your hair, dearest one,” he whispered with the slightest slur to his voice, holding out a shimmering kusymre flower that seemed to float barely above the palm of his hand. Asmund’s face flushed pink as he reached out to take the flower from the black-haired man. It made his fingers go pleasantly numb as he held it appreciatively.
Breaking him from his stupor, the crowd applauded uproariously around them. He’d completely forgotten people and the world itself existed outside of the beautiful stranger. The man in question clumsily bowed and waved to the other guests with a wide smile plastered on his face.
Asmund dazedly walked away from the group. “Air… I need some fresh air,” he announced quietly to no one in particular. He stumbled over the threshold to the balcony, his eyes fixated on the glimmering flower the stranger had seemed to summon out of thin air for him. The cold air brushed his skin as he pressed his palms against the cool stone of the banister.
“Didn’t scare you off, did I, dearest?” a familiar soft voice asked. Asmund’s head snapped around to see the stranger. He opened his mouth to reply, but nothing came out. In the silver moonlight, the man looked even more magical, the inviting green glow even more evident in the dim light.
Finally summoning words to his tongue, Asmund replied in a confident voice that surprised him. “Not at all. Just needed to catch my breath,” he smiled at the man. “Would you care to join me?”
“I’d love to, darling,” he grinned back, leaning his back against the railing, tilting his head curiously at the prince. Something glittered in the depths of his eyes as he leaned on his elbow closer to Asmund. “You know, I never did happen to catch your name.”
Asmund subconsciously tucked a stray gold curl behind his ear, bringing his eyes up to meet the others’ despite the flush still tinting his cheeks. “I’m Prince Asmund. May I ask yours?”
He grinned widely, leaning in close to Asmund once again, this time picking up the flower and gently tucking it into the curl. His fingers gently brushed Asmund’s cheek, leaving it humming and warm. “Lovely name. You may call me Loki.”
Had he been less flustered, there were dozens of better responses to being introduced to the prettiest person he’d ever met. However, as he was very flustered, Asmund blurted, “What, like the god?” Loki tilted his head back and laughed as Asmund pressed the cool of his palm into his forehead in embarrassment. “I didn’t mean to say that…”
Loki laughed, turning his head to the side with a playful wink. “It’s exactly like the god, more than you’d think.” Asmund mumbled something into his hands. “What was that, dear?”
“Can we dance?” he repeated, still muffled by his hand. “I think I’d very much like to dance with you.”
Loki offered him an arm, grinning charmingly and slightly drunkenly to the brown-eyed prince. “I think I’d love to dance with you, too, provided I can see you again.”
Asmund couldn’t have wanted anything more.

Glorious, Before the Burden - The Comfort ~ 3
The first thing I learned about the laptop and internet was that it held unfathomable information - if only one knew how to access it.  Luckily, Michael knew how to access a great deal of it.
“I need to know how to find a woman named Jane Foster,” I told him and he smiled.  “What?”
“A woman?” Rolling my eyes I explained Thor’s fascination with her and he nodded.  “You think if you make contact with her -”
“She will end up on Asgard, Michael, I’ve seen it.”  She’s with Frigga when she dies, she’s housing one of the most powerful forces in existence when it happens.  “I need to know where she is NOW, so I can -”
“Ambush her and piggyback a ride home,” he chuckled.  “Alright, let’s see if we can find Jane Foster.”
In Asgard, names aren’t quite as common as they were on Midgard - wading through the Jane Fosters that Michael found took time. Far more time than I expected.
“Why are there so many?”  I asked, feeling as if time was slipping away too fast.  “Have your people never thought of originality?”  He laughed and shook his head.  “I suppose I should be thankful you can find pictures for most of them.”
“It does make it a bit easier than just the name and ages, doesn’t it?”  He tapped up another group and I gasped.
“There,” pointing, I bit my lip and squinted.  “I think.”  She looked a little different, wearing something checkered and casual, but I felt fairly certain it was her.
“Jane Foster, she’s a doctor.” I leaned closer to the screen as Michael brought up the article that was attached to the photograph he found.  “Well, a scientist actually.  Astrophysicist, it says here.”  She was also quite lovely, I could see why Thor had found himself smitten with her.  While he moved the screen through the article looking for an idea of where she might be now, I couldn’t help but stare at the photo and how clever her eyes looked, dark as chocolate.  “Seems she’s relocated to London.”
“London?” My mind went to the foggy streets where Loki held my hand and showed me the sights, hazy though they were.  “How far are we from the city?”
Finding out where Jane Foster was in London was simple, as simple as finding out how far away London was from the small village I’d made my temporary home.  The real issue was HOW to introduce myself to her without disturbing her or seeming odd.
“You could just introduce yourself -” Michael advised, and I stared at him in disbelief.  “You are not your husband, Sigyn.”  He reminded me, but I shook my head.
“The fact that I refuse to denounce my husband, Michael, is what put me in this place to start with,” my reminder to him.  “Announcing to a complete stranger - one who is smitten with my husband’s brother - that I am Loki’s wife might not be taken as well as one might think.”
He sighed, knowing how much I disliked lying, yet also knowing how I would do it if I had to - after all, I was pretending to be his granddaughter and using a false name while mingling with the villagers.  “You forget your own powers of persuasion, Sigyn.” Eyes soft and a sad smile on his lips.  “People don’t only like you because of a lie, or because of magic -” he patted my hand.  “It’s because they can tell that you’re a good person.”
“And you think that just meeting this person, and telling her that I’m ME,” he nodded and I bit my lip.  “What if she doesn’t?”
“Then you do as you did when you first arrived,” I sighed.  “Or with those SHIELD people.” I didn’t like that plan, but it was an option.  “The point is, Sigyn, that you CAN do this.”
I wasn’t entirely certain that my plan would work, nor that I would be leaving from London for Asgard and not returning to my cottage - so I didn’t pack up everything.  I left Michael with a key, and I took a small bag with me aboard a train.  So focused on meeting Jane Foster that I hadn’t noticed a lack in dreams or visions - worry of the present pushed away the comfort of my past and the fear of the future.
London bore very little resemblance to the city that Loki first brought me to, and while we had revisited Midgard a few times after that first trip, it had been a long time.  I was pleasantly surprised, however, to find the Langham still standing and in its former glory at that.  Charming my way into a suite was easier than I hoped, and once settled I checked in with Michael.
“I’ve arrived,” I assured him I was safe and sound, impressing him with my accommodations.  “It looks -” I was in a different suite, but it was as opulent as the one I’d shared with Loki so long ago.  “Quite familiar.”
“I’m sure it is,” he chuckled.  “When do you intend on speaking to Dr. Foster?”
Sighing, I contemplated my options.  “I must do it soon,” I feared the time was growing close.  “I have her address in the phone, along with the GPS -” He’d shown me how to load the map and directions.  “Tomorrow I think,” it would give me a night to prepare myself.  “I hope I don’t frighten her.”
“You,” he sounded shocked by the very idea of it.  “Frighten someone?”  A soft sound like another laugh came across the phone.  “Sigyn, you won’t frighten her.”
I hoped he was right.
I had dinner in my room, and then a long warm bath.  Laying in bed, waiting for sleep to take me, I let my mind drift - and it took me to where I dared not go. Asgard and Loki’s cell.
“Sigyn,” he sounded - was he happy to see my ghoulish visage?  “You’ve been gone for so long, I thought -” He came closer and I drank in the sight of him like I was dying of thirst and he was water.  His hair was longer, wavy with curls - a little paler for lack of natural light, but the blue of his eyes was still the same.
If I was dying for the sight of him, then he was just as hungry for my image.  Even as I must look like a ghost of the worst nightmare he could have conjured, his eyes roamed from the top of my head to the tips of my toes peeking out from beneath the hem of my shift.
“I didn’t want to make your confinement more torturous, my love,” I wished I could touch him, but I feared that would do nothing more than cause me to vanish, and clearly he did as well.  “Seeing me in this form -” my eyes burned, hating that he was seeing a lie.  “I hate that you have THIS image.”
“Sigyn,” he was squinting at me, as if he had seen something different.  “Darling, what did you do?”
Tilting my head, I focused on him and how angry I was at the cloaking illusion that Frigga was forced to lay over me, should I dare visit him.  I felt it, the flickering of it.  “Loki?”  He nodded, his eyes widening.  “Is it leaving?”  I watched his mouth drop open.  Staring at him, I thought about how badly I wanted him to see ME, just ME, as I was and his eyes turned glassy and he was blinking away tears.  “Can you see me?”
“How?”  He breathed, his hands reaching out, but dropping before he could try to touch me.  Remembering that he could have no TRUE visitors in his cage.  “What magic is this?”
I looked down, seeing the gown that I wore to bed in the hotel - free of blood and gore.  Shutting my eyes in relief, I opened them to see tears falling from my husband’s eyes.  “Oh, no.  Loki, please, don’t cry.”  I wanted so badly to reach for him, to hold him and explain.  Damn the distance separating us.  “Darling, look at me, please?”
He was, but I needed him to SEE me.  “You’re dead, Sigyn, they told me - showed me the pick that pierced your heart.”
I shook my head and opened my arms wide.  “No, Loki.  No.”  Licking my lips, so dry even in a dream.  “I didn’t.  I wouldn’t have.  Knowing you were alive, somewhere, I couldn’t have left you.  Ever.”
I could see him trying to make sense of it.  Of me and what he was seeing, what I was saying.  “You aren’t HERE.”  I shook my head.  “Where are you?”
“London.”  His eyes went wide.  “Odin banished me.” His eyes narrowed, but I rushed on.  “Stop, Loki, listen to me.”  Before he could let the rage take over, I had to get him to listen to me.  “I am going to find my way back to you, but you cannot let your anger get the best of you, do you hear me?”  His jaw had gone rigid and his nostrils narrow.  “Loki, my love, please?”
“They told me you killed yourself, Sigyn.” He bit out, eyes flashing and jaw still tense.  “MOTHER had you looking like a nightmare of DEATH if you dared visit me, didn’t she?”  I sighed.  “And you want me to reign in my temper?”
“Yes,” he stared at me as if I were the one who had gone mad.  “I want you to temper that anger and rage.  I want you to calm down.  I want you to think about something for me.”
“What?”  It came out harsh, but then he sighed and his eyes softened.  “Sigyn, what do you want from me?”
“I want you to think about what you’re willing to give up so we can be together.”  His eyes widened again.  “We lost one another, Loki, because we stopped making one another a priority.  And I need you to think about that while I find my way back.”
“Anything,” he promised, but I shook my head.  “Anything,” he vowed.
“I love you, Loki.”  Leaving was going to be so difficult now that he could see the real me.
“And I love you, Sigyn.”  He was staring at me as if he wanted me to stay forever, but I couldn’t.  Not if I wanted to be able to touch him.  “Come back to me.”
“I will.”  That was my vow, and my parting.

this is the backstory to my high-school au
no major warnings beside background sambucky
♡♡♡
“What’s going on with you and Sam?”
Bucky makes a show out of avoiding Tony’s eyes, staring at his beat up Converse
“We’re taking a break,” He mutters, swallowing thickly.
“Shit, why?” Tony asks, the filter on his mouth non-existent. Bucky shoots a glare at the other boy.
“Tony,” He warns, digging through his Under Armour backpack for something. Tony has never been good with thinking before he speaks.
“Where the fuck is Coach Wilson?” Bucky grunts as he takes a sip from his Gatorade water bottle.
“Probably jacking off. I swear, he’s never around.” Tony jokes, rolling out his wrists. Steve gags from where he’s stretching on the ground. A few other teammates are doing a warmup laps at the other end of the field, while the rest stand around and chat. Bucky watches Sam as he does his stretches a decent distance away. He looks sad and Tony can bet he’ll be fucking up good amount today.
“On your left, Tony.” Steve mumbles, and as if on cue, all the players look to the left.
The cheerleaders.
The only good thing about practice is that the cheerleading squad practices on the turf with them. All the guys love it and admit it loud and clear.
“Hi, boys.”
Peter Parker.
Peter is one of the most loved boys in their school. Being the only guy on the varsity cheerleading squad, he has an entire group of girls devoted to his well being. He’s on the Decathlon team, Vice President of his class council, and on track to becoming Valedictorian.
Tony hates him.
(Not really. He’s smitten with the boy, but he’ll never admit it.)
“Hey, darlin’.” Bucky purrs, causing a beautiful pink blush to creep onto the younger’s cheeks. He looks delicious, in short blue track shorts and an oversized Midtown Tech sweatshirt. His long legs are on display, a perfect balance of muscle and skin.
“Bucky! How are you?” Peter asks, adjusting the strap of his hot pink Nike duffel bag that’s on his shoulder.
“Better now that you’re here,” The older boy flirts, raising his eyebrows suggestively. Peter giggles for God’s sake and bites his strawberry pink lip.
Why does Bucky have to be so good at sweet talking?
“Peter! Come on!” One of the girls on the squad shouts, beckoning the boy. Tony recognizes her as Pepper Potts, a senior with red hair as fiery as her attitude. He’s positive that her and Peter are dating, because they’re always touching in some way.
“Bye! See you later!” The brunette squeaks, waving as he runs off to his team. Tony can’t help but stare at his ass as he jogs.
“Cute, huh? Seems like your type.” Bucky smirks, nudging Tony’s shoulder.
“No. Not at all.”
♡♡♡
“Hey Tony? Can I borrow a pen?”
Tony looks up from his worksheet, face to face with a certain cheerleader.
Peter leans over his desk, chewing on the end of his pen, cherry lips coated in gloss. His honey eyes are wide in question, long lashes coated in mascara.
“Mine ran out of ink.” He says coolly, head tilting just so. Tony realizes his mouth has been open slightly and he quickly closes it.
“Yeah, yeah, sure,” He stammers, rummaging through his navy pencil case. Of course he can’t find one pen, so he dumps some of the contents on his desk. Peter bites his lip to hold back a giggle.
“Here, Peter.” Tony says triumphantly, handing him a blue Bic pen. Peter smiles tightly and takes it.
“Thanks, Tony.”
He has trouble focusing on Business Management after that.
♡♡♡
“Tony? Earth to Tony.”
Tony flinches as Sam snaps his fingers in his face.
“What?” He asks, tearing his eyes away from the cheerleaders who sit a few tables away.
“Jeez, Tony. I asked if you were going to Thor’s party on Saturday. What has gotten into you?” Sam scolds, looking at him weird. Tony can’t help but glance back at the table, catching a glimpse of Peter laughing at something.
“Oh,” Sam gasps, “You’ve got your eyes on someone, Stark?”
Steve nudges him gently.
“Yeah, something like that.” Tony snaps, glaring at Steve. Sam lets out a hoot.
“No way. Is it Natasha? I’m willing to bet it’s Natasha.” He theorizes, taking a bite of his ham sandwich. Tony makes a face.
“No. Leave me alone.”
Sam raises his hands in mock defense.
“Calm down, Tones. You can tell us.” Bucky pipes up from the other side of Tony. He’s still won’t talk to Sam, and there’s a heavy tension between the two.
“Nope.” Tony teases, popping the p. Sam rolls his eyes and Steve groans. As the group drawls on about Thor’s party, Tony’s eyes wander to Peter. He laughing and smiling with his girl friends, clearly excited about something. Tony’s heart stops when the younger boy catches his gaze. Instead of looking away, he bites his lip and waves.
Tony waves back.
♡♡♡
He’d rather be anywhere but here.
Herebeing on Thor’s beat up couch, ears bleeding from the shitty rap music that’s blasting from the stereo.
“This sucks.”
Tony turns to look at Thor’s brother, Loki. He’s curled up in the corner of the couch, a scowl on his pale face.
All he does is complain.
“Yeah,” Tony replies, taking a sip of his shitty beer out of his Solo cup. He gags, because he’s got drinks that are 100 times better at home. He hasn’t even had enough to give him a buzz.
“Parties suck. My brother sucks.”
Tony stifles back a laugh, because he knows how much Thor adores his younger brother.
“Yeah. He sucks.” He jokes, checking the time on his phone.
11:01
Tony decides he needs a breather. He gets off the red couch, maneuvering his way through the crowd of people. He exhales a sigh of relief when he steps out the sliding glass door, the smell of cheap booze and Axe washed away by the fresh air. He chucks the rest of his beer over the railing of the porch, balancing the cup on top of it. The fresh air is nice, a slight breeze moving his hair.
“Hey.”
Tony jumps a little as Peter Parker leans on the ledge next to him.
“Hey yourself,” He responds, watching Peter chuck his drink into the grass.
“Don’t drink?” Tony asks, already knowing the answer.
“No way,” Peter cringes, making a face. “Alcohol is fucking disgusting. And dangerous.”
Tony is taken aback by the foul language coming from the tiny thing.
“My friend made it. She probably put about 5 different drinks in one cup. I threw up a little when I smelt it.” The brunette complains, dead serious. Tony can’t help but laugh at the younger boy’s disgusted face.
“Hey,” Peter scolds with a pout. Tony just shakes his head as he checks the time.
11:11
“11:11. Should we make a wish?” He jokes, not that serious. Peter giggles softly, looking up at the vast expanse of stars.
“Sure. You start.” The boy offers, looking up at Tony. The older boy practically melts as he studies Peter’s gaze, full of innocence and expectancy. Tony doesn’t know why he says what he does. It may be the booze, or the nerves.
“I wish you weren’t dating Pepper.”
There’s silence.
Tony’s heart pounds in his chest, the sound drowning out the chirps of cicadas around him.
Then, the unexpected happens.
Peter laughs.
He doesn’t just giggle, no. He’s full on hysterically laughing, clutching at his stomach. This causes Tony to laugh at how ridiculous the boy is acting.
“Oh my god, Tony,” Peter wheezes through his tears, lips stretched wide. “I’m gay!”
Tony rubs his face with his hands.
“Jesus, Peter, I’m sorry, I’m such a fucking idiot.” He laughs, flushing in embarrassment.
“No, no, it’s okay,” Peter reassures, placing a tiny hand on Tony’s exposed bicep. “She’s single. All yours.”
Tony almost throws up.
“Peter,” He says softly, “I don’t like Pepper.”
Peter inhales sharply.
“Oh.”
“Oh.”
He blinks. Once. Twice.
“Me?” He asks softly, “Why me? You’ve never even noticed me.”
Oh my god.
“Peter, what the hell? I’ve been drooling over you since middle school.” Tony confesses, laughing slightly. Peter rubs his temples.
“No way. The only reason I joined the cheer squad was to get you to notice me. That’s it. I am so-“
“Peter, shut up and kiss me.”

Sweet Suggestions
Fandom: Marvel
Pairing: Thor x Reader
As requested by anonymous: Could you do a Thor x reader where the reader works at a local coffee shop and everyday he comes to buy something just to look and talk to her but never actually eats/drinks it and throws it away. One day, the reader catches him throwing away the stuff he bought and she asks him why he did so and then he confesses his budding crush? You don’t have to do it if it doesn’t spark inspiration :)
Tumblr media
You knew who he was the moment he walked into the coffee shop you worked at. His hair was shorter now but he still looked the well-known God of Thunder. He happily waited in line like everyone else, occasionally making small talk to the person behind him. He gave off this gentle giant aura about him, one that you always were suspicious about. From the few minutes of sneakily watching him, you could tell your suspicions were very much correct as he allowed the older woman behind him, a regular named Agatha, to order before him.
Once he was at your register, a big, adorable smile appeared on his face, “Hello, um,” he leaned down to get a look at your nametag, “Y/N! Tell me, Y/N, what’s your best beverage here? You have so many and they have a lot of strange names I’m not familiar with.”
You couldn’t help but giggle, “Not a problem, Thor, or, uh Mr. Thor? Anyway, what kind of drink were you looking for?”
He grinned at you, “Just Thor is fine and what kind of drinks do you have?”
“Well, let’s start off with this: do you want something hot or cold?”
“Cold.”
“Sweet or bitter?”
“Hmmm...let’s go with sweet.”
“Something with coffee or something with fruit?”
“Coffee, preferably, please.”
“Do you like chocolate?”
“Love it,” he beamed at you as he switched his footing.
You nodded, “Well, our very basic, yet most popular drink would be the mocha latte. It’s coffee with chocolate basically. I sometimes like to put a little bit of cinnamon for a kick, but that’s just me.”
Thor nodded, “Sounds splendid. I’ll have one of those in your largest size, please?”
“Cinnamon included?” you asked as you tapped in his order.
“Yes, cinnamon included, I trust your judgement.”
“Great! Your order will be out shortly.”
Thor proceeded to look at you confusedly, “Don’t I need to pay?” he waved a ten dollar bill in his hand.
You shook your head, “No, need. On the house. For being a superhero and all that.”
“You’re most kind, Y/N. Thank you, but,” he slid the money on the counter over to you, “I insist. Keep the change as well.”
“Thanks, Thor. Go ahead and grab a seat.” you gestured to the various seating areas around the shop, “I’ll bring your order out when it’s ready.”
Thor shot you another smile and moved away from the counter, eyes wandering the shop for his seating options. A big smile appeared on his face as he approached the older woman from earlier, “Agatha, mind if I join you?”
The sweet older woman shook her head, “Not at all, son. Please, keep me company!”
___________________________
Between taking orders and making them, your eyes kept going back to Thor. You observed how he and Agatha got along well. His booming laughter would occasionally disrupt the mostly quiet environment, but most either didn’t seem to care or were too scared of confronting the Asgardian god. You, on the other hand, loved hearing his laugh.
Eventually, you got to his order and swiftly rushed from behind the counter and hurried to the table he shared with Agatha, “Here’s your order, Thor.”
He smiled up at you, “Thank you, Y/N. Would you care to join us?”
You sadly rejected him, “I’m sorry, I gotta help take and make orders. Perhaps another time?”
“I’ll hold you to it then. Enjoy your work.”
You sighed, “I’ll try!” as you went back behind the counter and continued your work.
Thor’s eyes remained on you, a soft smile painting his lips.
“You like her,” Agatha stated with confidence.
Thor looked at her, “Hm? Whaaaat? No! I don’t even know her!”
“You could get to know her. I’ve been coming to this shop for two years now, Thor. Y/N is the sweetest person I’ve ever met and I’ve met a lot of people. Talk to her. You won’t regret it.”
___________________________
From that day forward, Thor has been coming into your shop more and more. Every time he’d ask for your suggestion and, depending on what he’s feeling like, you’d give him something. More often than not, he’d enjoy everything you’ve given him. You’ve even given him some pastries and sandwiches too, secretly though. He rarely gets any food. Mostly drinks.
But there was something odd. The drinks and food you give him always get thrown in the trash, hardly touched. It was weird to you because why would he order them if he wasn’t really going to drink or eat them. Seemed like a terrible waste to you.
He’d also always come in alone and prefer to sit somewhere in a corner, but facing you. As if he wanted you in sight. Given that every time you’d glance his way, you’d see him looking at you or acting as if he wasn’t just staring at you for the past ten minutes.
Some days, when things were slow, you’d sit and talk with him. You loved those kind of days because Thor would speak to you about Asgard and his family. He’d recall all the battles he’d fought and won in, all the pranks Loki has pulled on him. It was so nice to see this fearless warrior God be so normal. It was so nice to see those beautiful blue eyes of his to spark with passion and intrigue as he spoke or listened to you.
You had to admit, you were falling for the God of Thunder, but the thing that kept bothering you was him constantly throwing away his drinks and food without hardly taking a sip or bite.
Thor had come in later than usual. The shop wasn’t fairly. There were a few patrons scattered around, but nothing more.
“Good evening, Y/N.” he leaned across the counter looking at you happily and expectantly, “I’m thinking something sweet and cold tonight.”
“Actually, can I ask something first?”
He gestured to you, “Of course.”
“I’ve noticed that even though you order things, most of the time, you hardly take a sip or a bite before you throw them away. Do...Do you not like what I suggest and you’re not telling me?”
Thor’s eyes widened, “No! No! That’s not it! By my father’s beard, I promise you that’s not it. Everything you suggest is wonderful! It’s just..They’re my excuse to come here and speak with you. To see you.”
“I don’t-why?”
For the first time ever, you see Thor, the God of Thunder, shyly smile and blush, “I quite like you, Y/N. A lot and these past few months getting to know you, well, you have me smitten. And,” he reaches over the counter and rests a hand on yours, “I’d like to take you out to dinner some time. That is what you Midgardians do to court, I believe.”
You giggled as you nodded, “Yeah. That’s usually what we do and I like you too, Thor. I like you a lot and I would love to go to dinner with you. Hell, we can go to dinner after my shift?”
Thor tilts his head to the side, “I’m not dressed for a dinner date and, not to offend you, neither are you.”
You snorted, “Thanks, but it doesn’t have to be anything fancy, Thor. A date is really about two people spending time together, talking, and getting to know each other.”
“Isn’t that what we’ve been doing the past months?”
You slowly nodded as you realized that kinda is what you two have been doing, “I-I guess so, but we don’t have to count those as dates. Dates usually go longer than my ten minutes breaks,” you said with a chuckle and shrug.
“Hm, then I suppose, if you don’t mind, we can have our date after you get off then.”
You smiled wide at him, “Great! I get off in about an hour. Now, next question: if I give you a drink and a pastry, will you definitely eat it?”
His hearty laughed echoed off the coffee shop’s walls, “Yes, I will. I promise.”
You giggled, “Alright then. I’ll bring them out in a moment.” Thor nodded and headed to his usual table. You then turned around to hide your grin and did a little happy dance as you made Thor’s drink.
You were going on a date with the God of Thunder!

Thor Odinson x Reader
WARNING(S): adult content: cussing, slightly sexual content
You Should Know: I'm pretty positive this is far from accurate, but for how I want to write it, we'll just have to pretend. ;) Also, reader is gender neutral and pudgy or chubby in some form.
Prompt(s): The photo is on Wattpad. It was a silly Tumblr post that I absolutely love.
If these themes and ideas make you uncomfortable in anyway, you really do not have to read.
Thank you!
When Thor had first travelled to Earth, he had no idea what to expect. He never much cared for Earth growing up, but from what Loki had told him, his interest grew with his age. Now, as a fully-fledged adult, he decided to finally visit.
He felt lost on the mortal plain. He was never sure of where to go or what to do... but then there were the humans. The humans. They were all so, so very different from Asgardians. And the most apparent to Thor: body shapes.
He didn't know what it was, but he was very much attracted to... what was he attracted to?
Asgardians were so much slimmer, so very muscular... there were humans like that, but then there were the heavier ones, the "fat" ones. He viewed those people as more fluffy, or soft, or full, rather than "fat". It was strangely alluring. He even would admit unbashfully that he found those people beautiful.
Now, though, through all his years of experience on Earth, he had never met someone as gorgeous as you.
You had knocked him off his feet, and he has been in a haze ever since. He would go nearly braindead when near you. It was so obvious to everyone how much he adored you. First, he was enamored with your appearance - your soft, plump figure, the way you walk, how your chest and shoulders shake when you laugh, your soft eyes, your voice. Oh, he was so infatuated. The longer you stuck around, the more he got to know you, and he became smitten. This poor man was putty in your hands.
To even get into the Advengers tower, you had to make some friends. It had been your dream since you were young to at least set foot in the building. Luckily for you, those friends found you, rather than the other way around.
* * *
You had been in the library in downtown Brooklyn, and someone ran into your side, slamming you onto the floor. For a moment, you were stunned, frozen in shock. Slowly, you snapped back to reality as a hand gripped your shoulder.
You looked up to see a strong, good-looking man. And not just any man, but Captain America himself. You stared at him, wide-eyed. He was talking to you, but you couldn't comprehend what it was he was saying. Your head felt like it was filled with cotton.
You had watched as he grew even more concerned, turning to a man behind him. You recognized him too: Barnes, the Winter Soldier. Now they were both crouching down low to try and speak to you, to see if you're okay.
Finally, your brain kicks back on, and you blurt, "I'm sorry."
Rogers cracks a smile, "For what? I'm the one that ran you over."
You blink before huffing out a short, airy laugh, "Right."
"I'm sorry, we should've been more careful." He glanced over at Barnes, sending him a glare. Barnes looked back at him with an overly innocent look. This made a smile start to grow on your face.
"It's alright. Not like it's the first time I've fallen on my ass." That gets a chuckle out of Barnes. You move to stand, but then you feel a burning sensation in your hips and butt. You huff.
"Here, let me help you up." Rogers stands, offering his hand.
You nod, reaching for it, "Thanks, Captain." He pulls you up so harshly, which makes you yelp.
He grabs for your shoulders so you don't fall over again. You laugh, "Damn, you're really strong."
He takes a couple steps back, rubbing at his neck, "Yeah, sorry about that."
You shake your head, "Nah, it's alright." He brush yourself off, turning to look back at the shelf you were digging through a few moments ago.
"I'd like to formally apologize for Stevie's clumsiness," Barnes speaks up, clapping Rogers's back pretty hard. You turn your attention back to them, noticing a deadpanned expression on Rogers's face, "Let me buy you a coffee or something."
You stared at the two for a moment, "Yeah?" You shrug, "That'd be great."
Barnes smiles at you, holding his hand out to you, "I'm Bucky, and this is Steve." He nods his head to the man beside him.
You shake his hand, "Nice to meet you guys. I'm __________." You shake Steve's hand, too, "To be completely honest, I'm a big fan of yours. There's no way I'm passing up the opportunity to grab some grub with a couple of heroes."
Buckly chuckles, looking to Steve, "Well isn't that somethin'?"
Steve rolls his eyes before turning towards the door, "Anywhere in particular you like?"
You grin, heading for the door, "Yep! It's not far from here. Follow me, boys."
They let you lead the way as you walk nearly two blocks to a cute little cafe that you frequented. You held out your arm, presenting the building to the two men, "Kaffe Och Te!*"
Steve tilts his head up at the sign above the door. The place looked pretty new. Through the large windows, he could see that everything was tastefully decorated and accented with blue and yellow. It was really inviting.
Once you guys were in and settled at a table, they were both pretty amazed by the Swedish theme, the waiters even wearing traditional folk dresses or trousers. Once the three of you got to talking, you really hit it off.
* * *
You plopped down at your in your desk chair, flipping through some folders and neatening up the papers inside. Ms. Potts was a great boss, but she could get pretty overbearing sometimes. You were grateful for the little bit of work you had today. She was always a bit looser and lenient with work after an Advengers mission. You usually did grunt work, but it was never all that boring.
A knock comes from the door, and Steve walks in. You smile at him, noticing that he brought you bag of chips and a bottle of water. Thank God you had the captain on your side.
"Thank you so much, Steve." You sigh, taking the snack and drink.
He smiled, "Anytime."
You look up at him, glancing him over, "You healing up nicely?"
He nodded, "Yeah, but the stitches in my shoulder really itch."
You stand, moving his sleeve up a bit to look at the wrappings, "Make sure to keep it clean and always put the ointment on it."
He pats your shoulder, "I always do. You know that."
You laughed, moving to put things away it drawers and in neat stacks, "Where is everyone?"
"For the most part, in the common room. Tony's still in the lab."
"Still?" You groan, "It's nearly been three days!"
He sighed, "I've been trying to drag him out of there. Pepper, too. But you can try if you want."
You hum, brows furrowed, "FRIDAY, get Tony out of his lab, pronto."
"Of course, (Ms./Mr./Mx.) __________." she responds.
You sigh, looking down at yourself. You liked to look professional here, even though both Tony and Pepper have told you that you don't need to. Now, after these long, hard past few weeks, you're starting to regret not wearing something more comfortable.
"I should start bringing some casual wear, shouldn't I?" You hummed, looking back up to Steve.
He chuckles, "Everyone keeps tellin' you that."
You head for the door, opening it for him, "I might as well bring my whole wardrobe here."
He steps out of the office, shrugging, "You might as well live here." That made you stop in your tracks, "I mean, you practically already do, with how much time you spend here. Hell, you've slept here so many times."
You're tense, "I - " you try to think of what to say, "I couldn't do that. Yeah, sure, I'm here a lot, but there really isn't any point to living here. I-I just work here, I'm nothing as important as you guys, and I - " you huff, stammering.
He looks to you, confused, "You're one of the very few that work here that isn't an Advenger. And you're really important. Your job may not be the most significant and earth-shattering thing, but you, yourself, are important to us as a team, as your friends."
You sigh, "I couldn't ask that of Tony. It's his tower, it's his business. He and Pepper are the big bosses around here. I couldn't just ask to move in, no matter how gigantic this place is."
He frowns, "If you insist."
You hurt to the elevator, Steve not far behind.
Once you're down in the lounge, you smile and wave to everyone. Some didn't notice you, like Thor and Bruce, who were talking amongst themselves. Clint waved to you before joining them. They seemed to be having a good time, laughing with each other.
You plop down next to Bucky, "Hey, man."
"Hey, __________!" He throws his arm around your shoulders, glancing behind you for a moment, "How was work?"
You smiled, shrugging, "Pepper didn't give me much to do today, so I mainly just fiddled around for a bit after filing some stuff away for her."
"You should've come down here, if you were so bored."
You shrugged again, "I don't know. It was actually kinda nice to laze about for a few hours." You looked down at your lap, "Though, I do wish I would just start bringing some comfy clothes around."
"You wanna borrow some?"
You blinked at him, "Borrow some clothes? From you?"
He shrugged, "Yeah, I don't see why not."
You frowned at him. You whispered to him, not wanting to embarrass yourself, "I doubt anything you've got will fit me."
He rolled his eyes, whispering back, "You can at least try. I have some really comfy, baggy stuff you can try on."
You sighed, giving in, "Alright. But just this once. I'm bringing my own tomorrow."
He nodded, pulling you up, off the couch with him, "Alrighty!"
He marched you to his level, tossing you some sweats and a tee. He let you have his room to yourself to get changed. To your surprise, they fit you okay. The pants cling a bit more to your thighs than you would like, but they were really comfy. You grab your clothes that you have folded into a pile to carry them around better, stepping back out of the room, barefoot.
"See? They fit fine!"
You nod, "Yeah, thanks, Buck. These are so much more comfortable."
When the two of you got back to the lounge and you took a seat, you felt like you were going to melt into the sofa. So much better.
After a little while of talking to Steve, Bucky, and Natasha, a grumpy, sluggish Tony waltzed into the room.
"FRIDAY locked me out of the lab, and I know it was one of you who did it." he accused, pointing around the room.
Bruce walked over, handing him a steaming mug, "Either you sit down or we carry you up and lock you in your room until you get some sleep."
Tony groans, sipping from his cup, just accepting it and sitting down in a chair.
Bruce sits next to me, leaning over to whisper, "Finally got sick of it?"
"Yup." You nudged him, "Decaf?"
"You betcha."
You gave him a big, warm smile, "It's like we're all raising a child. He cannot, for the life of him, take care of himself."
He chuckled, "Yeah, but a lot of us are guilty of that, too."
You nodded, tilting your head, "Not as bad as him, though. I swear, if we all up and left for a week, he'd probably have died of exhaustion or overdosing on coffee."
He didn't say anything, but you know he agrees.
You yawn, standing from the seat. You'd been there with everyone for much longer than you intended, "I really should get home."
Tony stands with you. He's been half asleep for the past couple hours, and you're hoping he's finally heading to bed.
"Alrighty, (his stupid nickname for you)." He nudged your arm with his elbow, "Come back soon, ya hear?"
"Pfft," you laugh lightly, "it's not like I work here or anything."
He grinned, walking past you - and smacking your ass on the way.
You yelp, and go to say something, but end up not doing so. The result was a loud smack that rang through the room. Steve and Bucky were silent, sitting on the couch next to you. Bruce and Nat glanced over at each other.
Red-faced, you grab your things, "I... I'm gonna head out. It was really fun hanging out with you guys."
Someone abruptly stands, their chair sliding back and slamming against the wall. You jump, turning to see it was Thor.
"Allow me to walk you out." He smiled at you. It was his usual, friendly smile, but there seemed to be some tenseness to it. You brushed it off as your imagination.
You smile back to him, "Okay!" You wave to the others, following Thor to the main elevator, "See you guys tomorrow!"
You yawn as the elevator doors close. You turn to the man standing next to you only to see his eyes burning holes through your own. He quickly turned, his face reddening.
You tilt your head at him, "You alright over there?"
He nodded, "Yes, of course."
You lean against the glass of the elevator, "You sure? You're a bit off. You have been all night." You cross your arms over your chest.
"__________, I'm alright. I'm just..." he trailed, "tired. As you are."
You smiled, "Okay. Now, if you ever are not okay, don't feel ashamed or anything to say anything to me. I've had plenty bad days, myself."
He looks back to you, glancing you over. His stare was growing more intense and his jaw noticeably clenched.
"Thor?" You stepped towards him, concerned.
He took a deep breath before harshly shoving you back up against the glass.
You gasp, eyes bugging. You couldn't breathe, let alone speak.
"I would never be so forward, but you are driving me insane." He huffs out, eyes glancing back and forth between your own.
"Y-Yeah?" Was all you could manage. You didn't know what to say. Your mind was so overloaded at this moment.
"Yes. Very much so." He continued to stand there, staring intensely at you, hands on either side of your head.
A few minutes pass.
Then another few...
Then the elevator dings. But you both just continue to stand there and stare at one another.
And the elevator doors close. And now you're just standing there even longer.
You decide to finally say something, "Thor?"
That seems to snap him out of whatever world he disappeared to. He slowly backs away from you. The motion makes the doors reopen.
He nods to you, "Have a good evening, __________."
You stay a moment longer, blinks up at him.
"Yeah... yeah, you too." And you leave.
The next day, you're wearing much more comfortable clothes, and they are your own. You return Bucky's, and set to work. Afterwards, you find yourself in the common room again, speaking and joking along with everyone else. However, something is off. Very off.
You look around, though you aren't sure about what you're searching for. Suddenly, it clicks: Thor isn't there. He's always there. He's loud and boisterous and lovely - but he isn't there. You can't help but feel that it was because of yesterday.
You sigh.
Steve picks up on that easily, noticing how distracted and uncomfortable you appear to be. He nudges you, "Did you sleep alright?"
You nod, leaning into his side, "Yeah."
He paused, "Something happen with Pepper?"
You shake your head, "Nope."
His brows furrow, "__________, are you alright?"
Bruce joins the two of you, sitting on the other side of you.
"Where's Thor?" You ask.
This really grabs both of the men's attention. Bruce smiles softly, glancing over at Steve.
"I'm not sure. Maybe he's training or in Asgard." Steve shrugs.
Your lips pinch into a flat line, "He's always in here with us, though."
Bruce leans forward, elbows on knees, "Yeah, he normally is. And he always tells us before he returns to Asgard. It's really out-of-character for him to just go missing."
You groan, mumbling, "It's probably because of last night."
"What?" Steve was obviously confused, "What happened last night?"
You fidget around in your seat, growing a bit embarrassed, "Well, you know how he walked me out last night?"
They both glance at each other before nodding.
"Well, he was acting really weird," you pause, "and he sorta pinned me to the wall? And said that I was driving him insane?"
Bruce's voice grew a bit excited, strangely, "Yeah? Did he say anything else?"
You shake your head, sighing, "We just stood there and stared until he let me go and I went home."
Bruce's smile dropped and he grunted. Under his breath, you could hear a faint "Coward."
"I mean, what was that about? What did he even mean?" You rubbed at your neck, "He's never acted like that or said anything like that before. It was actually kinda scary... And hot."
Steve choked, "What?"
You hadn't even realized what you said until now. Your face immediately heated up. Bruce and Steve both just laughed at you.
"Don't laugh! I didn't mean to say that out loud!"
"So you think Thor is hot, huh?" And now Tony was in on the conversation.
You snapped your glare to him, "Goddammit, Tony!"
"(She/He/They) aren't denying it, guys." He then cocked his head, "Hey, FRIDAY, looks like something is finally going down here."
She doesn't respond, but you're growing angry and embarrassed, "Tony! Just - just - shut up." You huff, standing. Then you remind yourself: You're an adult, __________. Grow up. Grow a pair. You're a fucking adult.
You turn and smile at the three of them, "Yeah. I'm attracted to him. He's an attractive guy. I mean, you all are too. Everyone on the team is hot."
"As much as I want to accept your compliment, __________, we're focused on Point Break here."
You roll your eyes, "I'm an adult. I can like other adults. I just so happen to find this one particular adult hot. Sue me."
Tony only smirks at you.
"Ha, ha. I get it. You'd bury me." You feel lighter, and you give him a big smile.
"Speak of the devil." Tony pointed out the window, at the balcony. Thor was standing there, leaning on the railing. He looked impatient.
You hummed, heading in his direction, "I'm gonna go see what's up with him. I'll be back soon."
You step out onto the balcony, the sounds of your footsteps and the door opening caused him to quickly turn towards you. His cheeks darken.
"Ah, __________. It's... nice to see you."
"Hey." You walk over to him, leaning on the railing with him. The height made you a bit nervous, but you tried to stay focused on Thor.
"What are you doing out here? I was told to meet Tony here."
"Yeah?" You turn to look through the glass at said man, "I think he was just luring you out from your hiding place."
He remained silent.
"I had just realized something," you start, "You were acting really weird last night. I don't want to get my hopes up as to why - I just want to hear you say what you meant by all of that."
He hummed, rubbing at his neck, "I am a child when it comes to these things. It's hard to act like an adult when you're so..."
You waited for him to finish, and it took him a minute.
"... taken with someone."
"Yeah?"
He nods, "Yes."
"Last night, you had said that I was driving you insane." You tilt your head at him, "Define insane."
He grunted, turning away from you.
You huffed, smiling at his back, "Now that I think about it, you're quite obvious. And I was extremely oblivious." You laugh.
A few moments pass.
And then another few...
And you're back in that elevator again.
"Now you're the one driving me insane."
This at least gets him to chuckle and turn back to you.
You wait for him to speak.
"I'm sorry." He steps forward, "You've really caught my eye. And I can't seem to shake that."
You shake your head, offering him a smile, "It's not like I'm complaining."
His eyes seem to light up. He takes another step, "I've never known someone quite like you. It's strange, really."
"How so?"
He reaches his hand out, petting your cheek with his thumb, "It's unexplainable. You're just different. And I can't not think of you."
You smile, leaning into his hand and holding it to your face before he pulls it back, "You're a good man, Thor. And I've always admired you. But you've always been somewhat distant."
He smiles, "Yes, that was the foolish side of me. Now, however, I don't intend to miss my chance yet again."
You were nervous, but refused to back out of the situation, "So, to make sure we're on the same page, you've been eye-fucking me this whole time?"
He immediately tensed, eyes bugging out. You gripped onto his arms to keep yourself from falling - you were laughing too hard.
He was frozen in place, face beat-red.
"O-Oh my God, I'm - " you try to calm yourself, "I'm sorry, but - " you're shaking, "Fuck, you should've seen your face - !"
Soon enough, he joined you, and it took quite a while for either of you to settle down.
You wiped at your eyes where tears hand formed. You were breathing heavily. You smiled up at him, and, suddenly, you were back in the elevator again.
He pinned you up against the railing, "If you wish to run, do so now."
You blinked, then sighed, "Why would I run?" You give him a big, toothy grin.
This only egged him on, and then he was leaning forward.
Your hands had a gentle grip on the front of his shirt as he kissed you. His hot breath blew out of his nose and across your cheeks.
You melted, pushing against him.
And, suddenly, his lips were gone.
You opened your eyes to see a red-faced Thor with a goofy grin on his face.
You laughed, gripping onto the back of his neck to bring him back to you. You silently wished for him to pull you up and wrap you legs around his waist... but then you remembered that you're a billion stories above the ground, and in full view of your friends inside.
You giggled into the kiss, pressing up against him.
He groans, pulling back for a moment. This time, he really did look like he was eye-fucking you. But you kept that thought to yourself.
"Can I call you mine now?" He chuckled, kissing your temple.
Oh, God, yes. "I was always yours." You send him a wink.
He laughs, wrapping you up in a big hug. You hug him back happily.
You plopped down on the couch. The lounge was empty. Everyone was doing their own thing. You were actually pretty grateful for the silence; it was nice.
Footsteps sounded from behind you. You didn't pay it much mind until arms wrapped around you. You smiled, "Hey."
"Hey." Came his deep-voiced reply, "Mind if I join you?"
"Of course not." He kissed the top of your head before walking around the sofa to sit next to you.
You leaned into his side, smiling up at him, "You're as radiant as ever."
He smiled back, "Only with you, love."
Your face warmed up a bit. You still weren't used to his pet names.
You changed the subject, "Pepper's starting to get back to her strict self. She's a good boss, but - damn - she can be scary sometimes."
He chuckled, but it didn't seem like he was paying too much attention to what you were saying.
"Soon, I'll be stacked with work. Stacks of papers, trips up and down the whole damn building, being put back on babysitting duty."
He cupped your cheek, "Sounds like you'll be busy." His eyes were distant as they bore into yours.
"Yeah..." you trailed.
Then he was kissing you.
And you were in his lap, straddling his thighs.
And his hands were heavy weights pressed against the bottom of your spine.
And your fingers were tangled in his hair.
And he moaned into your mouth. You were done for. You tugged lightly on his hair, pressing your chest to his. This earned another groan.
His hands traveled a bit lower, but he hesitated and put them back where they were.
You panted, pulling back enough to look him in the eyes. Slowly, you reached back with one hand to grip one of his and slide it down to cup your ass.
You smiled at him, resuming the kiss. He obliged, gripping at your rear and further pushing you against him.
This time, you were the one to moan, and, in a split second, you were pinned to the cushions, him hovering above you. He roughly pulled your legs back to wrap them around his hips, leaning down to kiss and nip at your neck. He was rewarded with more lovely noises leaving your throat.
Your ran your hands down his sides, slipping them up under his shirt a little ways.
He kissed the side of your neck, right where your rapid pulse was most noticeable. He pulled back to look down at you, you both lightly panting and flushed red.
You laughed, pulling him down for another kiss.
Nothing could be better than this.
*Coffee And Tea
I'm really sorry if I butchered the Swedish above. If I did anything wrong, please correct me!
This... was supposed to be quick and funny and fluffy. I don't know what happened. Still, I hope you enjoyed! Also, sorry about the lame ending; I wasn't sure how to end this. If you want a continuation and maybe some smut ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) , let me know.

Message me if you would like a FanFic Sunday Request. __________________ It’s midnight and you stare at the clock on your desk and sigh. Dropping your pen on the desk, you putt your hands over your face, and let out a little scream of frustration. You were tired, and longed for your bed, and the arms of the love of your life. Not to mention food. It was the end of the month and your quarterly reports were due for your department. You were a Global Services Coordinator for a large company, and the Team Lead for your department. It didn’t always feel like you were, when your own boss would leave their work for you to do. So, everyone in your department looked to you for guidance. But to be honest, your boss never actually kept up with the weekly reports, and it was your job to gather the data every quarter so that your team didn’t get into trouble. So, to prevent this, you had a little meeting with your team, a system was developed to where everyone kept track, and at the end of the week, it would be entered. This made the job a little easier, but there was still a lot to enter. Not to mention your boyfriend had come into town, and you felt awful for not meeting him at that airport to greet him. The entire day you would stare at your phone at the encouraging texts, with smiley face emojis, xoxoxxx messages, and a adorable gif he made, of him blowing you a kiss. Your phone buzzes, and you part your hands, to see another message from him.  RICHARD: {You can do this sweetheart. Just think of me, at home waiting for you. XXX  (Smiley face ) } So you pick up your phone and reply… YOU: {That is the only thing keeping me going. If I quit my job, would you hold that against me?} SEND RICHARD: {Go ahead if you are truly unhappy there. I know that you are a very independent woman, but I can’t help but to admit that I would love nothing more than to take care of you.} You smile at his message, and start to type a reply, but then another message from him pops up. RICHARD: {Also, the only thing I would hold against you is….me. And seeing that I haven’t touched you in months, I can’t wait for you to come home. (Winkey face & heart emoji) You immediately blush, and erase the text you were typing, to reply back to him. YOU: {Omg, please don’t say that. Not while I am here, I just might say fuck these reports, and jump in an Uber and come home.} SEND RICHARD: {Please do, so that I can…fuck you.}
You let out a soft scream, and giggle to yourself. It’s almost been a year since you’ve been a couple and dating an actor wasn’t easy. He was away for weeks at a time, and with other beautiful woman, who made you look like trash, but he always found a way to let you know that you were the most beautiful woman to him. He called you every morning, to leave a sweet message for you when you woke, and he would wake up in the middle of the night to just talk to you when he knew it was day time for you in the States. Your birthday had recently passed, and he was upset that he couldn’t make it. Fearful really. A side of him you never saw. He called you, in a panic state, apologizing that he couldn’t leave, or arrange for you to come to him, due to his schedule in Berlin. He begged you to forgive him, and to not give up on him or the relationship. Due to his job, he was always so careful with relationships. He tended to take it easy, and not get too serious. He learned that when he was serious about a woman, they would move in together, she would get tired of him being away, and she would leave him. So, missing your birthday was the moment he thought he would lose you. So to prevent that, you were sent flowers in the morning before you left for work, a personal chef to cook you breakfast, lunch and dinner, a personal shopper, with Richards credit card to treat yourself to whatever you wants, PLUS when you were at work, your entire office was covered in balloons, chocolates, flowers, and a GIANT, GIANT brown teddy bear that took two of your male co-workers to get down into the Uber when you left for home. Then the poor driver had to get it out of the car. This time, he had come home from shooting Berlin Station, and he didn’t waste time getting on a plane. He scheduled it ahead of time, and said nothing, and no one was going to stop him from seeing you again. He told his assistant not to bother him unless it was a 911 situation. He wanted nothing to distract him from you, and he meant it. Richard could show such devotion and attention to you it was scary. 4 hours later, your reports were done, turned in, and everyone was saying goodbye in the parking lot. They wanted to go out and go to one of the 24 hr bars, but you wanted to go home. So you did, and wished them a goodnight. 20 minutes later, you get to your apartment block, grab the keys out of your bag and climb the stairs by two. You walk into the apartment and directly make a beeline to the bathroom to freshen up. As you push open the bedroom door, you see Richard a sleep on top of the covers. Legs crossed at the ankles, one arm over his stomach the other behind his head, and he was still sitting up against the headboard, with pillows behind his back. Your shared golden retriever Loki was lying near him, and was too sleepy to fully greet you, but his tail swayed and tapped on the bed. The glow of the low volume TV filled the room. You place your bag down, and go into the bathroom, and close the door.    The water splashed over your skin as it clings and crawls down. Slowly, it carries away the evidence of today's hard work, leaving you raw and exposed for the night to come. You battle up with the fresh sent of honey and pomegranate. The body wash felt cold but refreshing against your skin, the strong sent consumed your sense. The heat of the water was pleasant, and you knew that you could stay in here all night, but you couldn’t. You would much rather your bed, and your man. Once washed, you step out of the shower and dry your body off. You walked towards your open bedroom and when you poked your head out, you still see that Richard is asleep. You didn’t want to wake him, and it wasn’t fair to when he traveled so far. You would have tomorrow, and tonight you would let him rest. So, you step out, and make your way to the dresser, and you allow the towel to drop on the floor. The cold air of the room chills your skin, but you love the sensation. The air allowed your body wash to flow around you, and the scent of honey and pomegranate hits you. So, you smell your wrist and indulge yourself for a moment. God you loved that body wash. So did Richard. It was his favorite. You never heard the bed, nor the feet on the ground, but you immediately felt the hold of hands on your waist. A hard body pressed against your back, and a fully hard groan pressed against your ass. Richard had gotten up and started kissing your neck, as he moved your wet hair over to one shoulder. His hands exploring the curves of your newly washed flesh. His right hand slipped up the curve of your waist, over your toned stomach, and up to your breast. He took one fully and squeezed. You felt his lips at your ear. “I missed you sweetheart.” He said. He was always so loving and gentle with you. He may seem sweet in front of others, and the camera, and he really was. But when he was alone with you, his dominate, side always showed. He was protective, assertive, and god was he an animal in bed. Naughty and sweet. Just how you like it. “I missed you too baby.” You said with a sigh, leaning back into his arms, enjoying the caress of his hands on your body. You slowly turn to face him, your head fully tilted up to meet his gaze. The blue eyes of a sex god stared back at you. His pink lips were welcoming and exciting. You both fall silent. The clock ticks and hearts beat in double time. The heat of his breath and skin against your s contrasts against the cold of the bedroom. You’re not sure exactly when it happened, or how but there wasn’t a gap between your bodies anymore. You weren’t sure of who started it. You weren’t sure where you were or what day it was. Were you still awake or dreaming, but all you knew and cared about was that you were kissing Richard Armitage. Feeling pure ecstasy under his lips, his hands, his voice, his scent, his body. He kissed your neck and your eyes flutter shut. Your breathing hitches in your throat. He stares at you as he leans in. Your mind is saying to stop but your body isn't responding nor is your mouth moving. You were tired but you wanted him badly. His lips slightly brush yours. You couldn’t take it anymore and you crash your lips onto his. He moans just like you do. Pleasure is taking over your body. He pushes you up under your thighs so your legs are wrapped around his waist. He turns and carries you to the bed. Loki jumped down know what was about to happen. You feel him grind his hips into you and a surprising growl leaves his mouth. He breaks the kiss and pulls back looking at you. Taking in the sight before him, his eyes travel up and down your naked body, then he makes eye contact again. “As much as I would love to take advantage of you in the state. I am afraid I cannot do so when you are this tired.” He voices his concern. He leans in atop you, his hands caressing your cheeks. He kisses on and then the other. “But what if I told you I wanted to?” You ask, Turing your head to allow him the chance to kiss you. You missed his touches, and kisses. The weight of his body against yours was heaven. He didn’t want it to stop. You didn’t want him to stop what he was doing. On the other hand, you were exhausted. A 18 hour work shift wasn’t your favorite, and you knew that if you started, you wouldn’t have been able to concentrate for long. “Do you have any idea how hard it is for me right now?” Richard said dryly, almost a growl as his eyes moved up and down your naked frame.  “hmmm...” You moan as your hand moved to the waist band of his pants, and sliding under them you took hold of his full erection in your hand. He gasped, in response, and slowly started to move in your hand. He moaned loudly, and closed his eyes, lost in the moment.  He then caught himself, and pulled back, and your hand released him. He took a deep breath and let out a puff of air.  “I want to as well, but I would much rather you get your rest.” He finally managed to say as he cleared his throat.  “Really?” “Yes, especially for what I have planned for you in the morning, later that day and at night. You will not be leaving this bed.” He said with a devilish smirk. Fuck. You knew you were in trouble. The last time Richard was gone for this long, you were sore for days, and every time you looked at him, you blushed hard. You would never look at your ottoman the same, and now whenever you eat strawberries you get horny. Richard new how to touch and fuck you in such a way that it was sinful. His intentions might be pure, and he might really just want to cuddle, but he wouldn’t mind if this escalated. It might even just be that he really just wanted to cuddle, but then being so close to you got him all riled up. Unless you’re cuddling post-sex, odds are he wouldn’t mind you putting the moves on him. But you knew that he would not do anything while you were this tired. He was always concerned about your rest, and he knew this day was hard for you. So, you both crawled to the top of the bed, Richard removed his clothes, and Loki jumped back on the bed join you. You nestled into Richards arms, and he kissed you goodnight. You watched TV until you didn’t realize that you fell asleep. Richard whispered he loved you into your ears, and pulled you so close to his body, and rested his head on yours. You both fell into a blissful sleep. END

moving in
a/n: i really like writing soft lokyrie so have some softies! enjoy!
----
After Thor's coronation (and Loki's appointment as a royal advisor), Loki realized that Val was doing a lot of traveling between Asgard and Sakaar. He knew she was much more used to Sakaar, and much more comfortable there--but, given his new title, he couldn't travel much to see her when she was there. And he'd be perfectly honest--he missed her.
So, the next time she was in Asgard, he asked her to meet him in his quarters. He'd been standing on his balcony, overlooking Asgard and deep in thought when she came in.
"Hey." Val said, and Loki smiled at the sound of her bag hitting his floor. She was staying for a few days.
He turned with a smile, walking over to her.
"Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" He grinned, "I've missed you."
She sidled up to him with a grin on her lips as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Missed you, too." She smiled, tilting her head a little.
"What've you been up to on Sakaar?" He asked.
"Not much--the usual things." She shrugged, "I take it you've been busy?"
"Extremely." Loki sighed, "Sorry I couldn't come visit."
"It's okay--I know this role means a lot to you and requires a lot of your time." She offered, "I'm just glad you're happy."
"Well..."Val furrowed her brows before tugging away.
"It's not you--I promise." He spoke with a reassuring smile, "I'm not wholly happy because I can't see you all the time."
"Loki, I'm sorry, I just have to keep up my place in Sakaar, and I don't have any kind of role here, so this back and forth thing is kind of... going to have to be normal." Val spoke carefully.
She furrowed her brows again, making Loki smile before reaching into a pocket and grabbing a key.
"What is this?" She asked, looking at it as he held it out for her.
"It's a key to my quarters--my apartment." He smiled, "I spoke with Thor, and he would love to have you fight for Asgard with his team. And I'd like you to move in with me."
Loki chuckled at the sheer shock on Val's face.
"Loki, I..." She smiled before covering her mouth with her hand. She lunged at him with a tight hug, making him laugh and hug her back, lifting her off the ground for a moment.
"So, what do you say?" He smiled, setting her back down but hanging onto her hips.
"I want it more than anything." She beamed, leaning up to kiss him. Loki smiled into her lips before gently tugging away.
"Well, we'll need to start moving your things over here I suppose." Loki offered.
"I can do it on my own." Val shrugged.
"Val, you know that's a damn lie." Loki smiled, "You have more things in that apartment than I've seen in my lifetime."
She offered him a cheeky smile then.
"You clearly underestimate my abilities." She replied, puffing out her chest and almost making Loki laugh.
"Val, please let me help." Loki chuckled.
"Alright, fine. But, you're stuck here, so I don't know how or when you'd be able to help."
"Lucky for us, Thor said that if you agreed to the idea, he'd give me a few days off."
"Wait, you know if you get me, you get Pegasus as well, right?"
"Of course. He's having a stable built as we speak." Loki smiled.
"Loki." She giggled, hugging him again.
He chuckled and hugged her back, closing his eyes. He wasn't sure she'd agree at all--she was a stubborn woman (and wonderfully so), and Loki knew it might be hard to convince her. But, after years upon years of pushing those he loved away, he would have done anything to keep her close.
"Well, let's go tell Thor, then, shall we?" Loki smiled, tugging away.
"I suppose we should." She grinned, taking his hand as the two walked out of his quarters.
-
A little less than a week later, Loki found himself in Sakaar, in Val's incredibly trashed apartment. He bit his tongue on a lot of things, knowing she was a bit of a collector and that most of the items and totems in her apartment were important to her.
"Val, I know you collect things, but please tell me this isn't a real arm." Loki said, staring at the arm lying in one of her drawers.
She glanced over before biting her lip.
"Why don't you come sort my books? I'll take care of that drawer." She replied with a sheepish smile, making Loki close his eyes.
"Are you... are you keeping everything?" Loki asked carefully as he walked to her bookshelf.
"Only the things that are important to me." She replied, then looked to him, "Is that going to be a problem?"
"Of course not, Val. If it's important to you, it's important to me." Loki said, then sighed, "But please promise you won't bring any disembodied things?"
"I promise." She smiled. He continued putting her books into a box, glancing at some of the titles as he went. Many of them were books he'd read, but there were quite a few he hadn't seen or heard of before.
"Have you read all of these?" Loki asked curiously, turning one over to read the back.
"No, some of them are in languages I can't read." She replied with a smirk, "But, I've read most of them."
Loki smiled then, setting the book carefully into the box before grabbing a few more.
"I learn more and more about you each time I come over here." Loki smiled to himself. He grabbed a small trinket from her overflowing bookshelf, smiling at the little glass creature. He wanted to know what every little trinket meant, and he was determined to find out.
"Sorry this place is such a mess." Val sighed.
"It's okay--it reminds me of when you first brought me here." Loki smiled, reminiscing.
"Oh, when you were in chains and I nearly slit your throat?" Val asked.
"Yes, that's the one." Loki chuckled, "It's not the most romantic meeting, I'll admit that."
"I don't know--you looked pretty smitten with my dagger to your neck."
"I was impressed." Loki shrugged honestly, setting more books into her box.
"I think there's a different word for how you felt." Val teased, making Loki laugh.
"Perhaps." He replied, smiling over his shoulder at her.
He watched her for a minute, smiling as she took things out of her drawers. Aside from the disturbing dismembered things, he thought it was sweet that she collected totems and trinkets from her travels. She didn't seem like an overly sentimental person, so it was nice to see this different side of her.
"Val?" Loki asked.
"Yeah?"
"I'm really glad you want to move in with me." Loki said, making her give him a mildly judging expression.
"I know--you've told me at least four times a day for the past week." Val smiled.
Loki chuckled, shaking his head.
"I just... I know it's hard for you to leave this place."
"It's not as hard as you think--believe me." Val sighed, "Sure, there are memories here, but I'd rather be in Asgard, with you, in a tidy apartment where our things can just... mix together, like they were meant to be that way."
Loki smiled at her then, relieved knowing that she'd be happy living in Asgard with him. He had to admit, it would be nice to see her little trinkets on his bookshelves and around his--er, their--quarters.
"Well, let's finish up here, then let's say we grab one last bite to eat on Sakaar?" Loki smiled.
"Sounds good." Val grinned.Loki watched her for another moment before turning back to the books.
They weren't perfect by any means, but they were more than enough for Loki, someone who never expected to be loved.
