How They Would Take Care of Their Sick Kids | Sakusa, Osamu

as much as he hated germs, he hated seeing his baby/ babies being sick and suffering

which ig would make him despise germs even more tbh

since they made his bb/ bbs (baby/ babies) sick

he would be gentle with them, and take care of them even if it meant getting his hands and himself dirty

but anything for his bb/ bbs

when it first happened where his bb/ bbs got sick, he rushed them to the hospital, insisting that they stayed there until his bb/bbs were better

he had the doctors and nurses on speed dial

but now this second time around, he was more ready having learned from the first time

he would be on a tight routine to change them out of any sweaty clothes, tucking them in, changing their cooling forehead patches

making fresh food with scrubbed clean ingredients

everything

if his bb or bbs couldn't sleep, you bet he would hold them close

he would make sure is body warmth was also keeping them warm too

cradling them, rocking them, rubbing their little backs until they were sound asleep

he didn't mind doing the extra laundry if it meant that they actually got rest and they slept

even just a short nap

as soon as they were sound asleep, this mans would be whipping out his steamer, steaming all high-touch surfaces like their toys, door handles, and tables, cleaning and disinfecting everything

but at night, he was also on high alert

even when you were home to take care of them and when you took his turn to watch over them, he insisted on staying with you

The two of you sat at the ends of their low cribs in your guys' bedroom and just watched the two of them sleep side by side in their own crib in the low light of the bedroom, the sound machine playing the soft sound of waves washing against a shore

tucked in, wearing their matching little pjs

"they seem to be doing better," you spoke in a soft voice to your husband as he sat beside you, his hand resting on your lower back, fingers drawing random small shapes against your soft skin, his chin resting on your shoulder

"mmhm," he agreed with you, nodding gently into your shoulder

his eyes glanced back and forth watching them slightly move every now and then

he never thought that one day, such small human beings would mean the world and everything beyond to him

he would some nights, depending on how his bbs were throughout the day, would stay up later or sleep less so he could watch over them, sitting right beside them at their cribs

he would be right beside them, helping their little immune systems fight off these bad germs

Warning! Spoilers to what osamu does post-time skip!

You know this mans was feeding his family good stuff

like when you were pregnant with your little buns (what samu thought they looked like when they were born)

you ate the best foods

you were surprised how you were able to push such plump little buns out of you, 2 of them as a matter of fact

but they were very healthy

over the years, their plumpness became proportionate to their bodies as they grew

now they were able to balance and walk, they started running, playing outside, building their immunes

that was until something apparently had been going around while they were at daycare

and some parent still brought their child in, even though they were very sick and it spread to your guys' little buns

the two of you were mostly calm

took them to the doctors the first thing a fever was detected

making sure they were drinking plenty of fluids and samu was their personal chef

he knew what each of his bbs liked and made sure they both got their nutrients and all the other good stuff

he seemed calm on the outside but he did have a subtle, consistent wave of worry

he would think about the worst-case scenarios and work harder to make sure the foods and soups they were going to eat would be the best

but over time as you saw progress in their recovery, you were able to wipe away his worries without even knowing they were there

"Look who woke up a bit early and wanted to see you," he turned at the stove, hearing the sound of your voice approaching as you walked into the kitchen

you held the younger twin in your arms, the twin that did seem clingier with him but he didn't mind at all

he loved his bbs equally

the little one turned their body and reached toward him upon seeing him

Osamu was used to this

before they were sick, he would hold one while cooking - mainly something simple like stirring a pot

nothing dangerous

he would give them little samples of what he was making, always blowing the spoon or spatula like crazy before feeding them

he wasn't gonna burn his bbs

during baths and put-downs for naps and sleep at night, he always made sure to cuddle his bbs

he knew they were just gonna get bigger from here

after baths were his favorite time

they smelled so clean and fresh in their little pjs

he lay right in between their two little bodies as they hugged his head, cuddling with him

he laid with them until they were fast asleep, listening to the soft chimes of the lullaby gifted from osamu's grandmother

"stay small," he whispered to them, pressing kisses to their heads before slowly rising, and tucking them into their cribs

So...I am part of a dp x dc Discord server under the nickname Jazz. Someone decided to post a Pinterest picture in the fanfic ideas channel. This is the conversation it created. I love this Discord server so much.

then proceeded to fight on types of toast and pricy vegetarian meals

Danny: look our family needs a balance diet, we can't live off vegetables alone! The very least we should mix it with some actual food like Ectoplasm.

(if Ectoplasm can be considered all kind of elements/a semi living organism since it revives things then any food brought to life should be counted as a beast of some kind)

Also counts since Danny lived off ectoplasm for a fair bit of his life so he would see it as a food source

Danny: me. I'm your husband, we agreed to marry to make it easier for the kids.

Damian: KIDS?!

Danny: yes kids, don't tell me you forgot we had kids! I swear you'll say you forgot we have pets too!

Danny: shows the paper that says they have a pet and two kids

No wait, the ectoplasm comes last. Just the Wayne’s seeing Damian and this random kid fight about every single thing. Finally Damian comes home and says that they finally agreed on something.

The Wayne’s: finally. Looks like this is a good learning experience:

Damian: we have agreed to live off of Lazarus water.

Wayne’s: ABORT! ABORT! ABORT!

And the best thing is that they might not know about Danny being a halfa. So they think Damian is now corrupting random citizens.

Jazz:

Cause like, they both grew up with Lazarus water/ectoplasm and know the nutritional value.

Eros:

Great for child development too!

They both turned out great!

Alright now both Danny and Damian are fully into this project now they have at least a agreed idea on food

Because the project they have is this; budget for every day living

So they have food set out

There is now trying to keep the house running and kids/pets alive and entertained

Danny agrees that with his skills he can do the majority of repairs, Damian agrees to take responsibility of the pets

They are now having an argument on how children should be raised.

Adonnenniel "Addy":

Damian is all for strict discipline, high standards of education, after school activities (he may not want his kids to be assassins but he still wants the best).

Danny's all for independence, finding your own way, encouragement and lots of love and support.

Damian: Do you want our children to grow up to be garbagemen?!

Danny: Do you know how much a garbageman makes?!

Eros:

Danny grew up around a lot of physical affection and love from his folks, except around the time of the accident/the holidays he always knew his parents loved each other very very much.

Damian comes from such an emotionally constipated house hold that he only gets the majority of physical affection from Dick

Jazz:

This is so perfect.

Danny then says something that puts Damian’s entire world view into question.

Danny: is this how you would treat our pets?!

Eros:

Damian: gasp how dare you, how very dare you!

XD Danny, recounting the story later to Sam and Tucker: I swear, if he had pearls, he would've clutched them.

Me imagining Damian going to Dick to complain.

Damian: can you imagine?! Raising kids and hugging them! Or saying it’s ok to fail!

Damian complaining to his family: we might have agreed on living off Lazarus water, but now he wishes for our children to just go wild, then compared our pets to them!

Jazz:

Damian: obviously our pets would act nothing like those…savages.

Sam: wow Danny, at the very least your doing better then when you were partnered up with Val, like the majority of the time you were trying to pawn off raising the kid on each other until the flower was in danger, but I can't say much myself since Tucker pulled a Kronos.

Which opened a new can of worms; how much time were they going to take care and be there for their "kids" what kind of training would they go through

Their whole class and teachers are watching it like a soap opera

Yes! The Waynes and Sam and Tucker get the play-by-play but the class gets to see the actual show!

Jazz:

No wait, someone records it and post it and then it goes viral. (Do they think that the Wayne’s make a lot more sense now hearing of how Damian thinks children should be raised?)

Oooh. I can see people being even worse to Damian. Maybe pitying him because he grew up with so little love.

Then the next day Danny brings up the issue of child raising again since Sam makes a good point.

Danny: okay so I've re think a few things, mainly on occasion the kids should get self defense classes or something like that since it would make most sense to keep them safe. But beyond work and school activities how should we spend our time with them?

Jazz:

People see the two about to continue their conversation and immediately stop what they are doing to bring their phones out.

What if this becomes one of the most popular ‘dramas’? Like, so much in fact even villains will stop what they are doing to watch?

Eros:

(because Danny comes from a physical affectionate house doesn't mean there was neglect from his folks working way too much)

Jazz pretty much raised him when it came to actual child care so Danny is determined to be there for his "kids"

Not just for the fun stuff or being pulled to random projects

Jazz:

They get super invested in this project.

Also, what if people intentionally goad them on? Like seeing them together and asking if a kid should be left alone at home or with a babysitter or what they’ll do during a blackout/tornado?

Eros:

Surprisingly it's Danny who brings a big book of plans in case if emergencies

Adonnenniel "Addy":

Yes!

Adonnenniel "Addy": - reply to students and citizens goading Danny and Damian on.

The teacher reworks their lesson plans to do an extended deep dive into home economics so that this can keep happening.

Jazz:

Absolutely.

Jazz:

Some of the emergency responses are normal like, if there is a tornado, evacuate kids to a shelter, others are strange like arguing whether you should fight the burglar or prioritize the kids. Others are just plain weird. A blackout? Both Damian and Danny will turn to face the questioner. Obviously they’ll be able to see in the dark. (Effect of ectoplasm/Lazarus exposure).

Eros:

Danny is even willing to share on the "in case of apocalypses" situations

Jazz:

Neither question why they know a massive amount of information about various world ending disasters/villains.

Eros:

Oh and how they should pack bags for school and for emergencies

Jazz:

Omg, they make a kid survival kit. Including blasters and knives.

Eros:

Danny insists they should put some of the survival kit stuff in the school bag

Jazz:

Everything a five year old should take to school.

Eros:

Ooo discussion on how old their kids should be to learn about weapons and how to safely handle them

Adonnenniel "Addy":

Danny: Eight should be good.

Damian: Eight is way too late to start!

Jazz:

The fact that both agree this is a necessary subject to teach their kids. Everyone’s reaction to hearing various ways you can kill/dismember a person and why this won’t work. Not because it’s immoral but clearly because young kids don’t have the necessary arm length to complete certain maneuvers.

Eros:

Damian: that's why we should put the kids into martial arts and gymnastics as soon as possible so  they can be flexible enough!

Jazz:

Danny: that’s why we should wait until their older and focus on their aim while young! Their muscle memory will be all wrong by the time they reach the appropriate age!

Damian: they will not always have a weapon to aim. The body is the only reliable weapon that will never fail.

Eros:

Now to add extra into the mix; Bruce and Jazz (who is now Danny's legal guardian) show up to school to pick them up as they are in a middle of an argument

Danny: and who will be the one teaching them? Because proper teachers will be expensive, at least we can teach them at home how to aim properly! It can be a bonding experience!

Adonnenniel "Addy":

Jazz: What are you talking about?

Danny: Teaching our young children proper aim.

Jazz: You will not!

Danny: I mean, you're obviously not going to teach them.

Jazz:

Damian: I can teach them perfectly fine.

Danny: what about work? You can’t be with them all the time. 

Damian: I can take them with me. We can travel around Gotham and learn to fight through experience. 

Danny: you are not taking our children to fight on the streets

Damian: what, didn’t you want us bonding?! Make up your mind!

Dick looking at Bruce. “This is your fault.”

Eros:

Danny: You're not letting our children out on the streets, they will put too many people in the hospital! You have any idea how expensive that would be!

Adonnenniel "Addy":

Damian casually dropping he's Robin?

Jazz:

Danny not even processing it.

Then casually stating he’s dead. Damian skipping that detail.

Adonnenniel "Addy":

XD They're too caught up in the roles.

Jazz:

Exactly.

Adonnenniel "Addy":

Maybe afterwards, if they think back on it.

Jazz:

Like vigilantism and the dead coming back to life is normal for them. They are focusing on the children right now thank you.

Adonnenniel "Addy":

And then they both come up with the excuse "I was just adding to lore, it was all pretend!"

Eros:

Not before this;

Damian: fine if you want to control our lives and children then we should just divorce!!

Jazz:

Danny: oh I’m controlling?!

Adonnenniel "Addy":

Do they get Alfred to be the judge to oversee their divorce?

Jazz:

Danny: fine, our kids and pets will be happier with me anyways.

Damian: don’t you dare bring the pets into this.

Damian going to Bruce to use the Wayne lawyers for this imaginary family divorce.

He will win this.

Danny actually going to Vlad.

Adonnenniel "Addy":

Vlad has been watching the whole time. He doesn't need to be brought up to speed.

Jazz:

Both of them are like, this is ridiculous. But on the other hand, my child actually asked for help from me for once.

Eros:

Danny uses Dani as an example of a child that is better off with him

And Jazz even brings it up to Bruce that if Damian didn't get to play like this as a young kid, he might be making up for lost time, in his own intense way.

The absolute struggle both Bruce and Vlad go through on whether or not to actually do this and use up their lawyers, money, and resources.

Damian: he’s adopted.

Danny: to prove a point he hugs both Dani and Tim, trying to smoother them with love and acceptance

Tim just looks so done with life at the moment.

Danny: plus our pets are adopted, yet you wouldn't love them any less

Danny ends up adopting Tim by the end of this.

Danny would show Tim and Dani off at school after this

It becomes public that Wayne enterprise’s CEO is Tim Fenton.

Eros:

That means due to Danny winning and Tim becoming his kid, Tim Fenton is now the prince of the infinite realms along with his new sister Dani

Cass and Steph come back from a big trip once everything is over

Jazz:

They ask what happened. 

Jason gleefully explains that Bruce went to legal war with another billionaire over an imaginary family and ended up loosing Tim to them.

Also, that Damian might have a crush.

Eros:

Jazz:

Because he just went through one of the best non injury fights of his life with this guy

And lost

Yet they do agree on a fair bit of things, and now know where their main issues are and can work on them.

The entire world witness this entire thing and there are going to be shippers.

Also just think, when they eventually do get together. That high school teacher is absolutely going to brag that it was their project that started this.

Jon might have a crisis on being replaced as Damian’s best friend. Someone explains the difference between boyfriend and normal friend and Jon’s like, ok that’s fine then.

Eros:

Oh man, when Jon finds out everything that had happened

Jazz:

Conner hears about the clone comment.

Now Conner wants to be adopted.

Damian goes up to Dan and offers access to all sort of weapons, training/fights, being a heir to a different Kingdom, and possibly be ungrounded if he takes Damian's side in the new Custody battle

Damian would definitely pull a sword at some point - decide to attack and “miss” every time. He does not expect Danny to suddenly have an ice sword in hand. Do then they’re both going at it in a sword fight while still arguing about diaper brands

Damian - so then I attack him 

Dick - WHAT!?!? 

Damian - I know! He didn’t even have the decency to die! He pulled out his own sword! 

Dick in shock whispers - what

Damian - and he still refuses to consider Huggies! Insists on natural diapers!

Like when the arguments get too much they start sword fighting like the Adam's family

It's how they discuss things and keep up reaction times for both brain and body

Do they fight in school or at the manor?

Eros:

School, just to add more to the soap opera drama

And for the bats to keep missing the live actions of it

Except Babs but that's obvious to know why

Their sword fights go all around the school, interrupting other classes. The security guards or other teachers try to stop them but Danny'll just pull them into the argument. 

Teacher: walking up to them, trying to grab the swords Now, boys, this must stop!

Danny: leaps up onto a desk, put his arm around the teacher's neck as he's still fighting Damian Hey, you look like a reasonable man. Tell me, why would you ever want to buy a waste product all for brand recognition and not cut down waste and get reusable diapers?

Teacher: That's a very leading question and calls on a few logical fallacies-

Danny: shoves the teacher away as Damian leaps for an attack

Eros:

And this is where Damian's crush really began

It's one thing to argue and have different trains of thought

It's another to have someone actually just as skilled as you in the battle of the sword and the mind

Danny: Hopefully the castle is big enough for everyone

Tim: You have a castle!? O_O

Danny: Yep!  Oh, and you two are now royalty!  Don't worry, you won't have to do anything unless you want to.

Tim especially rubs being royalty in Damian's face.  He knows he should be better but damnit, Damian was/is all high and mighty about being the heir to the League of Assassins and Bruce's biological child - he stabbed Tim over it!  Tim gets to gloat a bit that he technically outranks Damian now!

It was a stupid idea.

"Excuse me?"

"It's a trend!" Tank defended. "We sit down, set a time limit, and then show each other the result. It's fun!"

But the way that Darlin' was looking at him, begging him to do this--well, he couldn't say no, could he?

"Alright. Let's go then."

Darlin' would later deny this, but they lit up before rushing off to get the supplies. Sam chuckled, chest fighting in the surge of affection for them.

A few minutes later, they were sitting across from each other in the kitchen, supplies spread out on their respective sides, and papers connected to clipboards to "prevent cheating" (in Darlin's words). How they would cheat at drawing each other, Sam wasn't sure, but he was just along for the ride at this point.

"Ten minutes," Darlin' announced, setting a timer on their phone. "That should be long enough. You ready?"

"As ready as I can be," Sam said, a small smile on his face.

"Alright," Darlin' set the phone in between them, finger hovering over the start button. "And. Go!"

The timer started, and Darlin' grabbed their pencil in a haste. Sam wasn't sure where to start. His pencil hovered above the paper as he worried his lip between his teeth. There was just so much about his Darlin' that he loved, he wouldn't forgive himself if he left something out, or didn't do their beauty justice.

30 seconds tick by. With a deep breath, Sam started.

He wasn't new at drawing, by any means. He had taken classes around realism for a while and had a habit of drawing those around campus when he was in school. It had just been a while. The first few marks he made he went back on immediately. After a while, as he got more comfortable, it got easier. He kept glancing up at Darlin', watching how their eyes focused on what they were working on, how the sun caught on their eyes, highlighting the colour, the way that their lips parted just so in concentration.

Sam was always told that he was quiet, but when he was quiet he was observant, and his favourite thing to observe was his Mate. There were so many little things that fascinated him about Darlin', and he couldn't get enough. Sam learned something new every day about them and of course, he learned their habits and systems. He could live and breathe Darlin' if the situation ever called for it.

Ten minutes flew by way faster than he wanted it to, but he was proud of the work he was able to finish.

Darlin' resolutely set down their coloured pencil, sighing. "Okay. Are we ready to show off the results?" They asked, excitement just barely being held back.

"Do you want to go first?" Sam asked.

Darlin' nodded, grabbing for their phone. "We're recording this so I can send it to the mates later."

Sam chuckled but didn't object.

"Okay! Here, hold this up beside your face for comparison," they said, handing him their paper. "Don't look at it yet!"

Sam did, smiling to himself.

"Okay, you can look," Darlin' said.

Sam turned the paper around, and couldn't help the small laugh that escaped him. In the most loving way possible, it looked like something an eleven-year-old would draw.

"Don't laugh!" Darlin' reprimanded.

"I'm not laughing at it," Sam said, "It's just so... good."

"Don't say good like that," Darlin' groaned.

"I mean it. I love it, Darlin'. I'll cherish it forever."

Darlin' got flustered at those words, but they refused to comment at it. "Let me see yours already, I'm sure you didn't do much better."

Sam shrugged. "That's for you to judge."

"Here, take the phone," Darlin' said, turning the phone around and stretching over the table. Sam did, trying to keep the camera steady. "Now give me your paper so people can compare."

Sam did, and watched as Darlin' held it next to their face. He had to say, sitting like this, he was very proud of how it came out. He felt like he really captured who they were. Darlin' finally turned the paper around, and their jaw dropped just a bit once they saw it.

"You didn't tell me you could draw!" They protested.

Sam laughed, head falling back a bit. "You never asked," he countered.

"Yeah but like," Darlin' gestured to the paper, "this is like, really good!"

"So you like it?"

"I love it, Sam," Darlin' said. The sincerity in their voice was evident, and it made Sam smile bigger. He stopped the recording before he continued.

"I'm glad."

"I feel like mine's awful now. Look at this!"

"Your's is perfect, Darlin'," Sam assured. "We can put them up side by side."

"I don't know if I want to do that," Darlin' said.

Sam stood, walking over to them. "They deserve to be put together," he argued, tilting their head up so he could kiss them, "just like we deserve to be together.

Darlin' groaned, rolling their eyes, "Don't be all sappy on me right now."

"Never," Sam said, smiling down at them before pulling them into another kiss.

"When did you even learn to draw?" Darlin' asked.

Sam shrugged. "I had a lot of free time between classes, so I used to draw the people around me. They weren't the stillest subjects, but it gave me good practice. Especially in learning to draw fast, because there is no guarantee they would stay there for more than a few minutes."

"How come I never heard about this?"

Sam laughed, "Again, because you never asked."

Darlin' rolled their eyes. "Jerk."

Sam hummed, "A jerk that you love."

"Not the point."

"Sure it isn't," Sam said, kissing them again.

“acting grand sage,” alhaitham corrects, stopping in his pursuit to leave this conference room as quickly as possible. he would have thought by now they’d have learned that he doesn’t work outside of office hours and he had almost made it to the door but still they stopped him. “we will continue this tomorrow, during my office hours. my wife is waiting for me.”

he knows he doesn’t need to add that last part, he’s said it every time they wanted to keep him longer, nearly as much as he’s corrected those who keep forgetting the ‘acting’ part of his title but he just couldn’t help himself. and as he turned back around, making his way out the door without another word, he feels the corner of his lips tug upwards at the thought of you actually waiting for him.

it had become routine, he’d say. walking you to work in the morning before heading to the akademiya just for you to find your way there later in the day to walk home with him. the best part of a long work day as sage. life was so much simpler when he was just the scribe, it was easy to slip out of his office and head to wherever you were but as acting grand sage, that so many needed the attention of, it was much harder to get away with.

he hardly pays any mind to those he passes by on his way out the painted glass doors, shining bright blue in the sunlight, and heads down the path leading to where you always wait for him, near the flowerpot a bit away from where the researchers usually stood and argued. like every day, there you were leaning against the railing, admiring the flowers that had begun to bloom as spring set in.

at the sight of you in the blue and pink light, in a sundress he had yet to see you in before, he felt a flutter in his rib cage, like gentle satin wings knocking against him and drawing warmth from his heart. it wasn’t unusual for you to do this to him, not that you’d be able to tell by looking at him, but today it felt.. wilder. like the heat blossoming under his tight shirt was going to reach his ears.

“i see they had you for a bit of overtime today. a whole two minutes, how did you ever survive?” you tease the moment you look up and see him only a few steps away, making your way to his side and accepting his extended hand.

to your surprise he tugs you closer, enough so that you can smell the lingering scent of rose water and hibiscus clinging to him from his morning shower, feel the rise and fall of his steady breaths.

Oookaaay… Here is Marinette Dupain-Cheng aka Ladybug. There is not many doodles like in Chloe’s drawing because I didn’t want to lol. I worked on Ladybug waay before Chloe and I tried so many designs and I worked on this drawing for days because of my job so I kinda got bored of drawing her. But I will draw her more later, dw!

Now I want to tell a little about my design choices rather than her story. She is not so different from show anyway. I deleted her creepiness and made her “not wearing same outfit everyday”. Lmao. Also she talks a lot about fashion in every kind of situation. She is a talented person in many kind of things. She is kind, friendly and cares about others more than herself. I kept her clumsiness but not as annoying as in the show. She is late to school not because she over sleeps but because she spends so much time on her clothing I thought. She got miraculous on high school but story takes time in their university years. Nino is her high school friend. She met with Alya in university. They are roommates in dorm.

So there are rules I follow when I design their hero outfits. Like keep the eyes same as kwamii’s eyes. And there are some features every holder keeps. I mean for all the Ladybug users, they’ve got that black dot on their head and they can’t cover it. That’s why her fringe (?) is short. Also Marinette would like her hair out of her way. Or they get elytra and wings. Yes she got wings so does Queen Bee ( even tho i forgot to draw ) but they can’t fly I thought. They just can glide with them because wings are not big enough for a human to fly. Or Cat users always get ears. All users get sharper faces so they become unrecognizable also their skin tone changes a little. Ladybug users get redder Bee users get yellower etc.

So for Marinette I tried giving her Chinese symbols like some other redesigns. I would like to show it but I can’t get it thanks to Autodesk getting crushed :/ I like that design but still I didn’t went with that. I felt like it doesn’t help with the secret identity thing. So I went with reds over black like real ladybugs. 🐞 I also wanted white dots a lot because of, again, real ladybugs. But I didn’t like them so I added circles over black dots. I am not sure if it looks too complicated but I kinda liked them. Yellow would be good too with red and black but every character would have yellow on them if I did so. Chat Noir and Hawkmoth has yellow details in my redesigns that you will see in the future. (Kinda want to give that they are related they are son and father thing with same yellow lines. I thought its cute.) Queen Bee is also yellow soo I didn’t add yellow on Ladybug. Two stripes on her hips for ladybug’s third set of legs if that makes sense. Her legs and arms are black because ,again, ladybugs are like that. I also thought she added her ladybug thing on her neck after seeing Cat Noir’s bell hehehe. I like pig tails but I really wanted “antennas” to come from her hair so I changed them into buns and I kinda liked them.

Also about her earrings looking like triangles, in my version kwamiis can shapeshift and miraculouses are kind of a part of them so they also can change miraculouses looks. So Marinette has shapeshifting earrings so she doesn’t have to keep buying new earrings lmaoo. It is also good for hiding their identity!

For her powers I will make a post and explain my version of the power system so I will explain her powers there but let me tell you no.miraculous.ladybuging. No fixing every damage. No. Also her yoyo will have more abilities so does other users weapons. I don’t think I will keep the communication thing where they use them as phones. But I want yoyo to has the abilities in the 2D version. Like using it as smoke bomb or as a shield. Her elytra is also like a shield but she can’t take it in her hand. It always stays in her back. Or she can separate her yoyo from middle and make it kinda like nunchucks. I will draw those to explain better.

Also… I am not sure how she will use her creation power. I mean she creates something with her yoyo i mean lucky charm. But Chat Noir looks like he gets his destruction power from his ring. Did you get what I mean? I thought maybe Marinette should get the thing she created from her earrings and make all other users like that but like how Queen Bee’s venom will work then? Or Rena Rouge’s power?? I am not sureee. Maybe I should make them all use their weapons to use their powers or I can make all of them different? Any idea?

eddie swears that he doesnt totally skip class on purpose, but he keeps finding himself not in class when its happening, which unfortunately is indeed truancy. but he's doing better this year, okay? especially when he shows up to the first day of what he swears is his last senior year and goes to english class and he sits behind you. he's really like oh god oh god you're so pretty but he's used to having crushes on people that amount to nothing so he just lets it happen but then you turn around and say hi to him. and he's like uhhhhh hi? smiles a little, tell him your name, say you've seen him around but never had class together, you ask how his summer was, he mumbles something about band practice and you're like that's cool! and then class starts and he can't tell if you were being polite or not but he's thinking about it all day. and so he might not be doing great in his other classes but damn if he does not go to english and sit behind you every damn day and say hi at the beginning. one time you ask for a pen and he gives you his only one and just doesn't write anything all class but after that he makes sure to bring multiple. you smile at him in the hallways and say hello whenever you see him and he's trying not to overthink this but honestly, how can he not? you always have a smile for him when you turn around to grab his homework and pass it up, he doesn't have a problem doing his english reading but now he makes sure to get all of his assignments in so maybe he'll get to brush your hand again, one day you see his bat tattoo one day poking out and you compliment it. you are crushing on him, but he doesn't have to know that. and then you're going to tell him after spring break, you're sure of it, and then things go to shit and you worry about eddie because you KNOW he's innocent. aaaaaaaand so when everything ends and your are asked to tutor him once he's out of the hospital to ensure that he graduates? you say yes without hesitating.

Dallas

- So many heists, so many years, so many successes, just for this?

- He's speechless

- He usually would be the one to cheer up other heisters after something sad, but for once, he has nothing to say

- He can barely look at the others without feeling so disappointed in himself

- He wants to be there for the others, but he can't process any of the past couple days

- Setting up the funeral was just about as much as he could take

- During that time, he helped others out with handling their feelings, whilst pushing his own down

- By the end of the event, he's pushed his grief so far down he can't even begin to unpack everything

- It's like he's numb, the feeling of grief is hidden somewhere he can't uncover

- For a while, he just throws himself into work, mindlessly pushing on to provide for the rest of the gang

- By this point, the gang was more like a family/group of close friends, and he wanted them to be alright

- Some people left the gang, yes, but the people who stayed still needed his help (at least, they did in his eyes)

- No one really comments on his concerning demeanour except Hoxton, who doesn't really know how to approach this but tries

- "Hey. Listen, whatever's fucking with you, you don't have to... lone wolf it, or some shite like that. I.. we've got your back, like we always do.. So, just... tell us what to do to help?"

- That definitely gets Dallas to spill to his friend about everything

- I think even talking about it helped him a little

- Bain was just a boss to some of the newer heisters, but to Dallas he was a friend, someone he could always rely on in a dangerous world

- And now he's dead, which is only really settling in when Dallas mentions it

- I think he eventually finds a way to pull himself out of his slump, and dedicates every heist he does/plans to his old friend

Hoxton

- As expected, he's mad

- Although not at the start

- In the beginning, he's also rather speechless

- He knew Bain was just another human being, but there was just something about him that made it seem like he was untouchable

- Now he's dead, Hoxton can barely speak without just feeling at a loss

- He was a good boss, but also a good friend too

- Hoxton doesn't give out his trust that easily, so the loss meant so much more since he trusted Bain, deeply

- At the funeral, he can't really think of anything witty/comedic to say

- In fact, he can't say much at all

- But a couple days later, he finally expresses something; rage

- He's mad

- He's really mad

- At the bastards who killed him, and the bastards who're glad he's gone

- His anger fuels him to keep going for a while, but at one point he burns out

- "I'm fucking exhausted. And, fuck, Bain was... a friend. And I couldn't even save him."

- He has this talk with one of the OGs, who know him well and would never judge him

- I think he has a drink with the OGs about it, just talking about Bain in general

- The heists they went through, the scoldings he would give as if he really was some sort of grandfather to them

- And yes, Hoxton leaves a drink for Bain

- "Cheers to you, mate. Wherever the fuck you are, hope it's good."

- I think after that, he joins Dallas, in the way he keeps going for a little while longer, fueled by the loss

Chains

- Chains too, was shocked

- Although I feel as though he tried to deal with the loss, rather than push it away

- The funeral felt surreal

- Someone who he had never actually met was being buried in front of him

- Of course, he was still close with Bain, but it just felt... off.

- He was probably one of the first to outwardly talk about it to the others

- "Hey. Can we... talk, about all the shit that's just happened?"

- He would still try to joke a little, but it's clear that Bain was his friend too, and the loss means something

- "I mean, shit, I knew Bain wasn't some type of god or anything, but... it's like that whole funeral didn't make any sense, you know?"

- He would also be one of the first to try make light of everything, although deep down the gang knew he was hurt too

- I think from his point of view, Bain wouldn't have wanted them to be all sad anyway

- "I think Bain'd rather see us in action again, you know? Robbing corrupt motherfuckers and shit, shit that'd make him proud."

- Hoxton agrees with this too, and eventually others did as well

- Definitely joins Hoxton (as well as some others) in trying to get others to keep going too

- When they do another heist, even if it's something simple, he's definitely encouraging those who went

- "See? We still got it."

- After that, a few others join him in pushing past the grief and working on more heists

Wolf

- As expected, he's mad

- If anyone was going to be angry about all of this, it's Wolf

- And his rage is almost immediate, as well as all consuming

- How could it go like this?

- All this effort, all the blood and sweat and tears poured into one continuous effort

- Just for them to fall at the last hurdle?

- That's unfair, and he doesn't want to accept it

- After this period, he would just leave the safehouse sometimes

- None of the gang really know what happens when he leaves, but some smaller news stations started to report a robber that would leave shops and small banks highly damaged and that civilians who encountered them were terrified

-So Carrie is clearly huge in the fashion and beauty and lifestyle spheres. She does brutally honest product reviews with stuff she buys herself (because fuck sponsorships that require you say nice things), makeovers for herself and Reggie into different styles, make-up tips and routines, and every now and then she goes all Rich Youtuber and surprises her subscribers with like, a shopping spree or buying poor kids their prom outfits or whatever.

-Reggie's favourite was the one where she got them both a full historically accurate Renaissance Faire get-up.

-Also of course Dirty Candi has its own channel and they do stuff for that too.

-Very few people link Carrie's cute hype-man and boyfriend Reggie to that video essay channel that goes really, really in depth into Star Wars lore and background details, mostly because he doesn't show his face on that one.

-Some people are like: hey isn't he that tiktok guy who films himself giving dogs at the park the most unhinged compliments. (Insert clip of Reggie telling a Pomeranian she could lead armies and help them win the skeleton war, while she wags and lets him pet her)

-Alex has a reaction channel where he does both shows and movies he's never seen/was never allowed to watch as a child, as well as like tiktok stories and memes. People like his snarky sense of humour. They also love whenever he does something horror, because he insists on watching it with his cute boyfriend, who is 100% not phased by anything and will be like: it's okay babe the werewolf is just tearing that guy apart. Remember, he deserved it, he was rude to that gas station attendant trying to warn them not to go into Werewolf Woods.

-Willie doesn't have a youtube but he does post sick skateboard tricks on tiktok.... sometimes in locations he Should Not Be.

-Flynn has a channel where she makes parody songs and raps. Julie and the guys are sometimes featured.

-They all live together in a big mansion and people are like: OMG IT'S ANOTHER YOUTUBE HYPE HOUSE and Carrie is like: um no, this is my fucking house and the others just live here because else it gets boring and also Reggie is like a sad puppy if he doesn't get to hang out with his friends at least an hour every day.

-Julie as a Sims Youtuber. She started playing a lot after her mom died because you can turn on the Sims and forget about everything and suddenly it's four hours later, and she needed that at the start to just get through the days. She's got a few long-running series that are very popular.

-Julie is the only one going to school because her Tía would murder her if she dropped out of college to become a youtuber. Ray promises her he'll be proud no matter what she does but also he doesn't really understand Youtube and how you can make a living with it. He's very happy to help film on bigger projects or give camera advice to everyone, though.

-Everyone has guest starred on Carlos' ghost hunter show and people keep wondering how the hell he knows all these famous youtubers because he's such a small channel.

-Luke is the guy who is like: COME ON GUYS YOUTUBE ISN'T A VALID CAREER WE NEED TO BE DISCOVERED AS A BAND THE OLD FASHIONED WAY. He's like a cryptid that pops up in the background of everyone's videos. There's special Youtube Compilations of him from across the different channels, and he HATES IT.

Almost four weeks since their last show in the Marquis (oh god already!?). So uh- let's do that. Never too late to be emotional amiright.

Long post ahead. Feel free to read if you're up to it. Just a bunch of rambling and venting about the show and more. ✨

Let's start with the beginning.

I'm not gonna lie, the first time I ever heard one of the songs was from a Tiktok video. A cosplay video. With "The Whole Being Dead Thing P. 2" playing. I had no idea the song came from a musical at the time but I remember enjoying it a lot, to the point of leaving the video on loop simply to listen to the beginning bit of the song over and over again. I had no idea where to look for it and didn't try to look for it either so I kind of forgot about it eventually.

Then October 2020 came around the corner. Halloween was approaching. And Mads mentioned Beetlejuice the Musical to me. I was sort of drifting along different fandoms at the time while also trying to figure out myself and do as well as I could in school after the first lockdown... So uh- strange and unusual times indeed. 😭

I wasn't sure what I was getting into. But then I checked Shnikkles's animatic of "Invisible (Reprise) / Say My Name" on YouTube. (I always loved this artist for their work on Steven Universe so I was still following what they were doing on socials.)

And in THAT FUCKING MOMENT. That's when the brainrot began.

And also my embarrassing simping phase for Alex Brightman which turned out to be admiration for the guy... And a lot of gender envy. But but we ain't gonna be talking about that.

After that moment, I started listening to the whole cast recording. FINALLY recognizing the song I had heard months ago on that freaking cosplay video. And then I started drawing the man. After Halloween, both me and Mads made BJsonas based on our Beetlejuice costumes... Which turned out to become, with time and a lot of character and design changes, the Veda and Zeta you know and (hopefully) love.

Then I suggested both girls meeting Beej. Which then turned into an AU. Which then became the Sequel Musical project/concept and which inspired the human AU.

The human AU (later renamed the Feral Fam AU, then the Lawrence AU in current days) was mostly made for comfort. We turned Beej into an anxious, grumpy, touch-starved cuddley guy with strong paternal instincts who was incredibly sweet and soft for the girls but who was in deep denial.

... Which... To be honest, is sorta still the case. 😭 But now the story is a lot more flushed out and has depth and work into it. And Mads and I both love how much the way we portray the guy has changed over the months. We love that he's more than what I described. That he's still a comfort character but he's also still Beej. He still has flaws and he's still an asshole but he's slowly developing into something more as the story keeps going.

(And we love character development in this household heheh >:D)

And thanks to that, Beej became a very important comfort character to me. Beetlejuice the Musical came at a time where things were getting confusing and rough. Where choices had to be made. Where changes were supposed to occur. Where something was ending and I had to move on to something else; in this case, moving on from high school and being a teen, and going to college and learning how to be an adult.

I still feel like a teen. I'm not that good at adulting. But I've matured. I've went through shit, shit that's affected me deeply. But despite everything, I'm still here. And that musical was there every step of the way. The story, the characters, the cast... They unconsciously played a big part in my life and I'll never be too thankful.

I've got to meet new people, try different things, discover new incredible artists that I still follow and admire to this day, some that I can proudly call my friends. It helped me get closer to my partner and finally start dating her (almost 2 years and still going babeyyy).

I've got to be part of an incredible, deeply loving community and I'm not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. I like to think the Beetlejuice fandom feels like another home now. I'm not well known within this fandom. Or atleast I don't think I am. I tend to draw more of the human guy than the bug beverage man himself which isn't something everyone is interested in. But still. I feel at peace here.

And I'm so so grateful I got to discover this musical. So so grateful I got to get close to so many people. So so grateful I got to experience the show before it closed. I am absolutely aware of how lucky I was to get to see it not once, but twice in a row. And the LAST DAMN SHOW.

It was a dream come true. It was the momentum I needed before the Broadway run ended. The ending I needed. I'm still sad it closed, I'll always miss the cast and crew videos of Alex and Elizabeth's bows, Kerry's lipbalm taste testing, backstage videos of the actors just being complete dumbasses and having so much fun...

I'll just miss the Broadway cast and crew so much. It doesn't feel the same without them, even with the Tour going on. It feels like a whole different show when it's the same story (with necessary changes), the same songs, the same characters... But the general vibe isn't the same.

I've been relistening to the cast recording a lot now. Appreciating every song instead of just a few ones. Delia quickly became one of my favorite after seeing the last show (If you know, you know. Leslie fucking KILLED it that night). If anything, every character became my favorite. I started loving them all a lot more than before. Understanding them more than ever. Even Beetlejuice himself, although he's the character I've focused on the most for the past two years. I finally feel like I now have a good grasp on his character, something I've always had trouble with for a long time.

So uh... Boy. This is getting long. Long story short... Thank you. Thank you Beetlejuice the Musical. Thank you to the cast, thank you to the crew. Thank you to the wonderful people I got to meet. Thank you to the friends I got to make. Thank you to my dearest partner. This musical has a very special place in my heart now thanks to all of you.

Set back in 2016! this is also my first fanfic i've posted, so please be nice heheh!

She thought it was a fake ad a first. There’s no way their management team scouted her out to be Niall’s “girlfriend”, but they found her on YouTube, messaging her and making her go through some tests before finally deciding she was perfect. Now, here she was 2 months later, meeting Niall and the gang.

“Hey love” Harry smiled and waved at her as she entered the room. “This is y/n. We’ve hired her to date Niall because we keep hearing rumors that people think he’s a little…” Simon trailed off, not knowing the right words to use. “Fruity. Anyways, she’s here to fix those rumors. I need both of you on the cover of some magazine by next Friday. I don’t care how, or what you do. I expect success.” Niall and the other boys nodded in agreement, as Simon smiled, turned around and left you alone and exposed with five strangers. “Well, Hi.” Liam was the first to speak, extending his hand you shyly extending your hand and shaking his.

Niall finally looked at you smiling softly as he glanced you up and down. You felt a blush come to your cheeks, rubbing your arm with your hand. “You like Nandos?” He finally questioned, you nodding your head in aggrement. “My favorite” You smiled as the man gestured towards the empty seat beside him. “If you don’t l like this or want your own, We can” You cut off the blond headed boy, smiling brightly. “No, this is perfect.” You smiled, as he handed you a half wrapped burger he had cut in half. “Thank you.”

The next morning, Niall got a call bright at early at exactly 7:45. You where awake 5 minutes later needing to be at Simon’s office in the next 10 minutes. “Y/N, wake up. We have to meet Simon soon.” Niall softly shook you, you just waving him off. “Seriously, we can’t be late. He hates tardiness.” Nail ripped the covers off you, your hair getting all over your face, you left pouting. Niall laughed when he saw you, before throwing you one of his shirts. “Here You’ll have to wear your jeans you wore yesterday, we can go shopping later.” He commanded, as you sat up on the couch he had let you sleep on, slipping on your pants that slept in front of you. “Can you um, turn around?” You questioned, Niall nodding as he quickly turned around. You quickly threw his shirt over your shoulder, a blue and white striped one along with sitting up and finishing pulling up your pants.

Meanwhile, Niall was telling you about plans for the day. “Simon will probably just make us know the rules, make us post, tweet and shit like that a certain number of times a week. Make us sign a contract, this isn’t my first rodeo” He explained, stopping to take a sip of his coffee. “You’re good.” You stated, throwing your hair up in a messy ponytail, walking over to the kitchen to get your own cup of coffee.

“What do you mean; this isn’t your first rodeo?” Opening random cabinets trying to find some mugs, you questioned him, him just laughing. “It’s the one above the stove. And just like, they make me do this so often. He really hates ‘fruity’ rumors I guess” He shrugged, blowing on his coffee before taking a sip of his coffee.  “So, what do we have to do?” Questioning what the rules where, and how long you where about to ‘date’ him. “Usually, it’s 6 months and then we come back and re-evaluate how we’re doing and want to continue. Simon will explain the rules, those change every time.” Niall continued explaining, you sipping on your coffee. “Okay, Boyfriend.” She nudged him slightly giggling, Niall rolling his eyes.

“This is going to be an interesting 6 months” He laughed, setting his mug down as his alarm went off on his phone. “We got to go, now.” He rushed, grabbing your cup straight out of your hands, placing it in the sink. “Wha- I wasn’t” “Sorry. I’ll buy you another one later, promise.” He apologized, grabbing your hand, leading you to the car.

Now in the parking lot of ‘Rock Records’ Niall parking the car and looking at you. “I know you’ve met him, but still just agree with everything his says, sign the contract. He could make your life a living hell if you piss him off” Niall rushed, getting out of the car you following him. “No, No.” He scoffed, rushing over to your side, pushing you back into the car. “I open the doors for you now, always.” He stated, “People could be around at any point.” He helped you get out of the car, before closing it behind you. Placing a hand on the lower part of your back, he led you into the building, everyone saying hi to him and waving at you.

“Smile” He whispered, through gritted teeth, a smile instantly planted on your face. Mumbling Hi’s and waving as you walked by and finally made it to the elevator with him. “Welcome to the world of Pop stars, you got to be on your toes at all times.”  He pressed the 20th floor button and the elevator went up. Once up far enough, the elevator was clear glass, being able to see the parking lot, along with the mountains on the hills. “How beautiful” You gasped, watching as the sun shined over the mountains and perfectly over the building.

“Come on,” Niall grabbed your arm and dragged you for what felt like the millionth time and led you to a huge office. Simon greeted you at the elevator, smiling widely as he came into view. “Ahhh, Niall! Y/N! Nice to see you too, you already make such a good couple” He smiled, clapping his hands together afterwards.

“Now, follow me this way.” He extended his arms pointing to his office, following behind you both. “Hold hands. Stand closer. God, Niall you should know this by now.” Simon scolded, rolling his eyes. Niall let out a soft scoff before stepping in front of you, opening his office doors for you. “Thank you” You softly praised, before ducking into the office. “Now you’re getting it.” Simon patted Niall on the shoulder as he entered.

What felt like hours later but was in reality 45 minutes, Simon has went over the rules and procedures, what he expects of you, how many times you have to make a presence together, so on and so on. You signed the contract, as Simon and Niall explain the contract and what everything means. You just nodded through it, hoping to have a paper copy to re-read yourself later.

“So, 6 months is normal. After that we’ll re-discuss and see where we want to go from there.” Simon explained, handing you another paper. “You must go out when the boys do, interviews, club appearances, shopping everywhere. You two must go out at least 5 times a week, as a couple. Seen  at least seen by paparazzi. Nothing special  or anything.” You just nodded your head, quickly reading over the paragraphs on the paper as Simon explained. You signed where the red marks where, along with Niall signing underneath it. “With your YouTube channel, you don’t need to make it all about Niall but I want at least a few video appearances. For his publicity and yours.”

The rules continued for another hour or so before Simon flipped over the last paper. “-finally here. And Here” Simon pointed, you both signing away. “Here’s your credit card, y/n. It will reload every week your pay will be determined, but will start out around $25 an hour” He simple stated, handing you a silver credit card. “Simon, come on.” Niall blushed, rolling his eyes. You reluctantly took the card, slipping it into your jean pocket. “Okay. If you need anything im a text away” He started collecting all he papers together, before screaming ahh and opening his desk drawer. “A phone. Throw away your other one, save your family’ obviously and friends but besides that this is your new one. Pre-Loaded with phone numbers of the boys, instagram handle and following and a twitter page with selfies from old social medias.”

You opened the phone, everything pre-loaded like Simon said. “Now, you can go.” He shooed you both off you shoving the new phone in your pocket smiling as you walked out of the office. “Act like a couple! Hold hands!” Simon sreamed as the two of you exited before the door closed. Niall instantly reached for your hand, intertwing his fingers with yours. This, you could get used to.

So guess who went to the F#@&ING HOSPITAL last week. GUYS. The amount of terrible things that have happened this year. Feels like everyone has had a health scare including the cat. Whenever my health is compromised I’m like “I CAN’T DIE BEFORE BAND CAMP BOYFRIEND IS RELEASED.”

Our CG/Sprite artist, Flora, sent this along in the Discord and just looking at it is healing me. (TT_TT)

I WILL DO IT FOR YOU, PETER! I have to keep working hard before 2022 decides to outright smite me. So I got myself together and finished up the big SFX project over the weekend! Yay!! Of course I am sure I will still nitpick sound effects as I play through the game, but I’m calling this project done!

My sister worked hard too. She programmed some music into Day 4 & 5 of the game and did a lot of work with some new voice lines we received. Mark, the voice actor who plays Mr. Wiley and does an absolutely incredible job at it, voiced some extra lines Alex trimmed and put into the game. We are so lucky and grateful that all of our talented voice actors who were cast ages ago have stuck around this long and continued to provide lines if needed! 

I programmed in a little music as well. I was excited to put in the second version of Poptart’s theme “Offbeat.” I had to play one of Poptart’s scenes from the start of his route and I just about died, it was so cute. Seeing the art, the music, the voice, the sound effects all come together...it’s just SUCH a great feeling! And it never goes away. For every new scene I get to see in its full glory, it’s so rewarding and exciting.

I also made some timeskip transition screens that say stuff like “2 weeks later” or “1 year later.” Woah. Programmed those in as well.

Finally, I edited another fun video for YouTube and TikTok. I shared a screenshot of it the other day. Heheh. I’m thinking I’ll post it in September!

ooooh gosh ahaha i mean there’s really not much on it yet!!! the goal was to use it as a little online journal to document the ‘tiny but good’ things that happen in my life. i kind of get torn between just wanting to post those things here, on this blog, or wanting to keep them separate and have a space for them. i dunno! maybe i’ll try posting there tonight, or give it a try for a week and see how i feel afterwards??? no idea, it isn’t a huge deal either way hehe <3

I got to ask the people who visited me lots of questions like

「Which one is your favourite」✌️

Everyone seemed to enjoy answering which made me happy‼️
