My sketch book page exploring goth as a subculture and delving into what I want to do in the future. Doing this sketch book page made me realises that I not only want to looks at disruptive music cultures but also the women that lead these communities.

I drew a couple pictures of Nancy Downs, played by Fairuza Balk, from one of my favourite movies, The Craft!!!🪄🔮

She’s an iconic goth character and couldn’t not mention her whilst talking about goth culture.

Another iconic women in the goth scene is Siouxie Sioux, lead singer and front women of the band “Siouxie and the Banshees” and I definitely want to create a piece as a tribute to her and her work.

And another quick doodle of an iconic goth women, Misa Misa, from the anime series death note that I ended up doing whilst researching goth women in media.
