Every time I open up and give you a piece of my heart you rip it wide open. You were never patient with me And that should have been a sign that you just wanted to get it over with and move on But here I stand torn and bleeding. Left to stitch myself up in places I can't reach. As time goes on it festers, the wounds left unattended. I have to cover them so you are not reminded of what you did to me. If I show you just a little you become irate and blame me for my wounds. I guess I should have known better but here I stand
