My name is Quinn (or Sylvi). I'm bodily 20, very queer, plural and neurodivergent. Feel free to use whatever pronouns for me.

This blog mainly focuses on my selfshipping and yumeshipping with my F/Os, but might also talk about plurality, bpd and other things since they influence by shipping experiences.

♡ yamaguchi t. — messages you good morning and good night without fail. if you thought that he’ll only do it on the first few months of dating, you were wrong because he’s fully committed to do it until he couldn’t anymore. and in the rare occasions where he couldn’t, he’ll do it in person with a whispered “good morning” or “good night” on your lips after a kiss. will get upset if he couldn’t do it through messages or in person and you’ll have to remind him that it’s totally okay for him not to greet you every morning or night but he won’t stand for it.

♡ tanaka r. — always knows when you’re feeling down even if he’s miles away, it’s like he has a sensor for when you’re upset. it’s so endearing like one second he’s away and then the next he’ll be busting down the door demanding who made you this upset and who he should beat up. please calm him down before he gets in any trouble! on the other hand he’ll hate to see you sad and will do everything in his power to make you happy.

♡ matsukawa i. — kisses you first thing in the morning even if you protest by saying you have the worst morning breath. he will not care and he will get his morning kisses one way or another. his day won’t be complete without feeling your lips smiling against his, ending up in lighthearted laughter and tickling each other in bed until you just lazily lie in bed for hours until it’s finally time to get up. gets real cuddly in the morning, demanding you to stay for five more minutes wrapped in his arms although you both know it will last longer than that but it’s worth it.

♡ hanamaki t. — never leaves your side at a party or any social gatherings. will just hover close by, a hand on your lower back, waist, or around your shoulder as he talks to the guest. will nod along to your stories and will offer a few insights of his own. it's reassuring to have him by your side if you're someone who's not fond of crowds, will hold your hand as a way of saying “i'm here for you” and will not hesitate to take you out of there, just say the word. and if you do get separated at a party, you will always find each other whether on purpose or unconsciously like two magnets, always finding your way to one another.

♡ ushijima w. — he has his silent ways of protecting you. when the two of you walk on the street, he will be holding your hand while he walks on the part of the sidewalk where you're not near the road. will put his arm around your shoulder and will stare down anyone who would look at you weirdly in public. if you fell asleep on his shoulder, he will protect your head with one gentle hand so it wouldn't fall forward. he will always carry essentials for you – medicine, hairties, extra money, tissues, etc. you name it, he has it. he cares about your safety and comfort more than anything.

♡ konoha a. — appreciates you babying him after a long day at work. expect to give cuddles, kisses and back rubs as soon as he flops himself on top of you like lifeless lump. absolutely loves it when he lays his head on your lap and you run your hands through his blond hair or massage his temples if he has a headache. he will plant a kiss on your inner wrist, palm, the back of your hand and fingertips if your hand even comes close to his lips. he will turn into a putty in your hand if you hold his face, he will feel so loved he would want to stay there forever. he will pepper you with praise and compliments while pampering him, and you should also expect the same treatment and more once he's recharged.

♡ yaku m. — physical touch is his major love language. he wouldn't last a day without touching you even with the tips of his fingers. more often than not, you'll find yourself in his embrace – making you feel safe and warm. he likes to rub your arms up and down in a soothing manner and usually does this to help you fall asleep. he's the type to bring your head closer to the crook of his neck when you hug and will kiss your temple, his lips lingering there for a moment. his touches are comforting and not at all in an uncomfortable, overbearing manner. if you want space, he will gladly respect it and will wait for you once you're ready for his affection.

♡ lev h. — will carry your bags, groceries, shoes, whatever it is, lev will be happy to help you carry it. and he will do so by carrying it with one hand and holding yours with the other. he claims you shouldn't be carrying heavy stuff when you have him to do it for you. a true gentleman that will make you think that chivalry isn't really dead – will open car doors for you, pulls your seat out from the table for you to sit on, drapes his jacket or coat over your shoulder if he so much as saw a slight shiver, greets you by kissing the back of your hand every time you see each other, he's so cheesy it hurts.

♡ kyotani k. — he's possessive of you, can you blame him? you're literally the best thing that ever happened to him, and volleyball. he tries not to be too over the top about it, but once he notices people eyeing you, he'll draw you close to him, even going as far as grabbing your butt in public while you faced away from the person looking at you the wrong way, completely oblivious to kyotani's smug smirk. aside from that, he's totally on board with pda, loves it, actually. won't pass the chance to show everyone how smitten he is– will nuzzle your neck, have a full-blown make out session while sitting at a table in a fancy restaurant, a hand on your waist – if he get to show them how much you love each other, why wouldn't he?

♡ daishou s. — flirts with you like you're still at that early stage of the relationship. it's cute, really, even if sometimes his pick-up lines can be annoying. for the most part, he enjoyed the way you blush at his compliments, and you always amuse him by retaliating back and making him speechless. will use the “are you new here?” card complete with a salacious wink, you're quick to reply with “no, if i were, i'd remember a pretty face like yours” it ended up as a challenge between you two on who can flirt the worst, but deep down, it makes your hearts flutter each time like two fools in love.

♡ kita s. — your number one supporter and cheerleader. when things get rough, he's there beside you, telling you sweet nothings and encouragement in his soothing voice, a kind smile on his face. his presence is so warm and you feel safe with him, it feels like everything is going to be alright. he cheers you on with whatever you have going on, will always ask you about the thing you're working on, checking in on you to make sure you're taking care of yourself and not overworking. he will call you out though if you're not taking care of yourself lately, he will definitely have to do it himself or he will convince you to do it for him, please. he really really loves you and he loves to see you be successful and happy.

Pairing: Miya Osamu x fem!reader

Soulmate au where you see colors upon meeting your soulmate!

At this point in your life, you were content with never meeting your soulmate. After seeing your friends and family find their life partners and experience colors, everything was getting too much. Your two jobs did nothing to satisfy your family or make ends meet. And it seldom brought you any joy, despite doing what you could to survive. So you did what every rational 26 year old would do.

You sold your apartment, most of your belongings, and booked a flight to Japan. Yes, completely rational and thought out. Obviously. Nothing could go wrong.

Except for the fact that you didn’t think to find a place to live or a place to work. You had done your research about where in Japan you wanted to live but that was the furthest it went. You chose to fly into Osaka International Airport with two large suitcases and a backpack, hoping someone would be kind enough in the slower lifestyle to lend you a hand. Although Tokyo interested you, you wanted to avoid most of the city and the hustle and bustle it would’ve provided. You wanted to escape the crazy not endure more of it. So the grassland and farms of the Hyogo prefecture excited you.

Even though you would be entering the city, you would be going out into more of the country. Your limited knowledge of Japanese helped lead you to a lowly rice farm after a couple hours of hitching rides on buses and pickup trucks. You had caught sight of a sign for work help, stating that the owners of the farm were looking for some assistance harvesting their rice. Pulling your many bags, you stumble up to the door and rap your knuckles against the wood. You drop your bags onto the dirt and catch your breath. Before your black and white eyes is a young man with an interesting shade of hair and what you assume to be smart and calculating eyes.

“Hello?”

“Are,” you start with your broken Japanese, “are you Kita Shinsuke?”

The man before you nods, opting to speak in English every so often to help you out. You remember your phone has a translator and speak normally saying “I hear you have an open room and a job opening?”

Kita listens to your phone and nods, extending his hand to take it from you and give you a response. “Yes I am. I have a room upstairs. What is your name?”

You smile wide and politely say your name in practiced Japanese. He shakes your hand but notices you speak into your phone. “Do you have an accent?”

Kita nods and types out “Kansai-ben.” He gently takes your bags and takes you upstairs. You’re taken away by his openness and kindness as you settle into your new home. He smiles genuinely at you and hands you a translation book before leaving you to unpack.

You spend the rest of the night studying and practicing your Japanese basic phrases to help Kita-san with his rice farm. The next morning begins your new life as his assistant, working with different buyers and sellers, as well as lending a hand with harvesting. It was simple, it was trying, but it was exactly what you needed. Since Kita was mostly a field worker, you helped him organize his client list and his finances. He offered you a roof over your head and good food, while you helped boost his sales. It was a business relationship of equivalent exchange; no mention of soulmates required which was perfect.

Until the two of you were relaxing after a hard week and he speaks to you calmly, not wanting to rile up any emotions. “Pardon me if this is rude,” he begins, “but did you leave America to avoid your soulmate?”

Your eyes widen behind your teacup and you sigh heavily. “I,” your voice cracks a tiny bit, “I was getting tired. Tired of not meeting them, seeing all my friends and family be so happy… it didn’t help that they had been bugging me about it.

“So I left. And three months later here we are.” You take another sip of tea and lay back against the couch you share with your landlord. “What about you? Have you met your soulmate?”

Kita merely nods and smiles fondly. “I have. So I’m able to see the beautiful colors of the rice fields, and how your clothes don’t exactly match.” He feels you lightly punch his arm as he giggles at your reaction. “But they got very sick. We were engaged to be married, but they died right before the wedding.”

You gasp and put your cup down, feeling empathetic and emotional for your new friend. “Kita-san I had no idea-“

“No, it’s quite alright. I’ve come to terms with it. I wanted t’ ask because it seemed like you came here t’ runaway. I guess I was right.” He then grabs your hands and rubs gentle circles. “But I’m sure you’ll find them. I know these three months have been a lot for ya, but don’t give up.”

The next day you woke up refreshed and ready to work. Since Kita normally deals with customer interactions, you hadn’t known who any of them looked like, just by name. Going by your schedule, you knew today that repeat client Miya Osamu was stopping by to get a shipment. You’ve been in contact with him, arranging dates for rice pick ups and negotiating prices but nothing more. You could tell by how we talked with you that he’s from the same region, which made him seem more down to earth to you. For example, when he went to support his brother in a volleyball game by setting up a booth, you and Kita worked to expedite the process for getting him his fresh rice. Needless to say, he was your easiest client to interact with. And today you would finally meet him!

Usually you don’t meet the clients, but Kita has to go into town so you’ll be handling Miya-san. You were slightly nervous, considering most of the people you’ve talked to were your employer and some of his family. The idea of trying out your Japanese and Bansai dialect with someone else excited you, but made you a little worried. You still weren’t the best at it but the only way to get better is to practice! You continue to brush up on your conversation phrases as Kita sends you a text letting you know Miya-san is on his way to pick up the rice. So you head out to where you all keep the rice to sell and look for his specific order. A few minutes pass as you’re caught up in organizing the shed and you hear heavy footsteps behind you.

“You mus’ be Kita’s new worker.”

You quickly turn around at the calm but deep voice and brush off your shirt. “Yes! And you must be Miya Osamu! I’m—“

You stop mid sentence when your eyes meet steel grey ones. Wait, grey? Or are they a shade of silver? They complement his black shirt and onigiri hat very well. Your breath is taken away from you as you can pinpoint the whites and browns of the wood inside the shed along with the grains of white. The way his tanned skin reflects in the sunlight has your stomach doing flips.

“Do you see ‘em too?”

You understand his sentence but just nod along. Your heart beats uncontrollably as you take in everything around you. You reach out your hand towards him and he gently takes it and your insides warm. His palm is rough yet gentle and you don’t wanna stop holding onto it.

“Kita told ma’ you weren’t from ‘round here. Thought he was kiddin’. Guess ya are my soulmate?” Osamu’s smile matches yours as tears begin to fall from your eyes. You then Feel his free hand press against your cheek and wipe away your tears. “I can’t have ya cryin’ right now, yer eyes are too pretty fer that.”

You sniffle and lean into his touch, rubbing calming circles on the back of his hand.

“I just can’t believe this is happenin’.”

“Kita yer jokin’, right? You think you know who my soulmate is?”

Osamu listens to his senpai over the phone of their usual meetings but doesn’t wanna believe it. The store owner wasn't prepared for the soulmate talk again with him, considering he was already content never meeting them. “Kita ya know I’m fine neva’ meetin’ them. What makes you think this person is any different?”

“She doesn’t have one either. We talked ‘bout it the other day. I jus’ got a vibe from her, ‘Samu.”

Osamu sighs over the phone and shakes his head. Sure, it had been hard being one of the only people in his life to not find his soulmate. But he was content, focusing on starting his business and hopefully expanding to having more stores soon. He did have volleyball with his twin, but even that lost its flair after a while. It definitely didn’t help that Atsumu had found his soulmate through volleyball and so did his friend Suna, both of who are now professional volleyball players.

Sure he’s dated here and there but what really got him going was his business and making onigiri. Osamu didn’t ask for much as he was simply satisfied doing what he’s dreamed of. He’ll never admit to feeling lonely on occasion but that’s the price to pay as he has told himself many times. However, that itch he hasn’t been able to scratch. That throbbing sensation that all of this would be better with someone had been irritating him more as of late. Could it possibly be..?

“I guess Kita was right.”

You blink away tears and give Osamu a questioning look. “What do you mean?”

He chuckles at your expression with a smirk and you thought you were gonna die from how cute and sexy he looks and sounds. “I mean, he called me a while back. Sayin’ he met someone kinda like me- er well a good match fer me. Seems like he was right.”

You can’t help but have excitement beaming from your face as your smile brightens the shed around you both. You truly came here to escape and start anew, coming to terms that being single was your destiny. But since meeting the kind rice farmer and him welcoming you into his home and work life, you never considered the possibilities. Your eyes meet his (god you can get lost in them forever) and you point to your chest. “Did you feel pain here?”

The black haired male nods and reaches out for your hand again. “Well no we won’t have t’feel pain. I finally found you.”

“Okay okay my eyes are closed! Now tell me where the hell we’re going!?”

You giggle as Osamu securely holds your hand as you blindly follow him. The air around you reminds you of the ambiance near his shop but he didn’t need to hide anything like that from you! A light breeze brushes by you through the warm night air as you continue forward. Osamu has always been on the quieter side but his silence right now is a little unnerving.

“We’re close, baby girl. Hold on tight, ‘kay?”

You give a low grunt and continue on. The two of you had traveled to Tokyo to celebrate your one year anniversary together but it seemed like it was all business with him. You weren’t upset about it, but you wished he paid a little more attention to you. Osamu squeezes your hand to let you know that you’ve stopped at your destination.
