Ichigang and their Animal Crossing Islands
Currently spamming the Dondoko Island mini-game and it’s giving me ultimate Animal Crossing vibes, so here’s headcanons on the Ichigang and their Animal Crossing: NH islands. Short and sweet cos it’s kind of a dumb idea ✨
Also I’ve got my last few requests drafted and hopefully ready to post soon, so if you wanna send in some more headcanon requests please doooo, I could do with the inspo 💕
Ichiban:
Ichi’s island would be pretty chaotic, to be honest. There’s just random items dropped all over the island, from where his pockets got too full, or he’ll even just intentionally place random pieces of furniture somewhere and thinks it looks great, but it does not.
Hasn’t quite got the hang of landscaping or terraforming, so there’s just random cliffs and rivers/ponds dotted about everywhere. The layout makes no sense.
He probably has his character dressed up in a hero costume or outfit.
Also gets very attached to his villagers, and nearly cries when one of them even suggests moving away.
Nanba:
Does not care about his island at all, and couldn’t give a shit about what it looks like. There’s just weeds and buried fossils everywhere, and his house is still un-decorated.
Never interacts with his villagers, but does think it’s funny when he accidentally hits them over the head with the bug net when hunting creepy crawlies.
Speaking of catching bugs, he is surprisingly into the bug hunting and fishing. He has probably caught almost all of them, and visits the museum daily to just admire his collection.
Took him ages to catch the scorpion, as it kept stinging him. He almost rage quit the game.
Adachi:
He literally has no idea what he is doing. He’s terrible at the game. His island is full of weeds, and his fish, bug, fossil and art collection is almost non-existent.
He likely started the game, got confused and switched it off, and forgot about it for ages. When he eventually did log back on, his house was infested with cockroaches, and he just never bothered to get rid of them.
Sometimes visits Nanba’s island, and their characters just chill in the museum together watching all the critters and fishes.
Saeko:
Saeko has the prettiest, most aesthetic island ever. It’s full of flowers, is so organised, and probably has a full on theme that she closely follows. She has fully upgraded her house, and all the furniture and rooms match perfectly.
She honestly gets so offended when an ‘ugly’ villager moves in, and she immediately kicks them out.
Her museum collection isn’t that full, as she sells all of her fishes, bugs, etc. Her priority is earning bells, so she can buy decorations and furniture for her island, and make it as pretty as possible.
Joon-Gi:
The most stylish Animal Crossing character you have ever seen. He changes his outfit every day, and chooses his characters clothes so carefully. His entire island and home is also very aesthetic, and he’s secretly very proud of it.
Joon-Gi has likely almost completed all the fishing, fossil and bug collections, but he keeps getting ripped off by Redd with the artwork. He gets so mad when it happens and Blathers declines his donation.
He would actually be pretty good at the game, and is always so smug when people visit his Island and are blown away by how it looks.
Zhao:
He has purposely made both his island and his character look dumb as fuck, because he finds it funny. He also keeps all the ‘ugly’ villagers, to match the silly vibes.
Follows his villagers around and hits them over the head with the bug net until they get mad at him. He finds it hilarious.
Visits his friends islands and quotes memes or writes funny yet rude messages on their notice boards, but doesn’t tell them. He waits for them to find the messages themselves. It could be a few days to a week later, and he’d get a message from one of his friends like ‘why did you leave this on my noticeboard you weirdo’. Both Joon-Gi and Saeko have banned him from visiting their aesthetic and organised islands because of this.

About me - Simblr Edition
Got tagged by the incredible @nitrozem!
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡(∿°○°)∿ ︵ ǝʌol
rules: you can use any sims game to answer these questions!
your three traits: Loner, Lazy, Goofball. Basically, I need so much alone time to function, I absolutely loathe exercise and doing stuff generally, and I think pretty much everything is funny and will sink to deplorable depths to get a laugh out of people.
If we're allowing the extra 3 from Growing Together, toss in Dog Lover, Overachiever, and Bookworm! Because I love dogs, am an absolute try-hard in both school and work, and love books so much that I have a literary tattoo.
your aspiration: Neighborhood Confidante is probably the closest to a therapist, right? But in general, I do like being a reliable source for my loved ones. I also feel like Inner Peace is a lifetime goal of mine, being somebody with trauma and mental health struggles. If we're going just base game, with no update aspirations, then it'd be Renaissance Sim. always good to be skillful!
in-game world you'd live in: For Sims 4, Brindleton Bay. It's where a lot of my sim stories take place, and I love the Nor'eastern aesthetic. Plus it's usually chilly over there which as somebody who runs hot, I would live for. Sims 3 would be Moonlight Falls. Misty, foresty, with a river and waterfall? Yes, please. I also loved the Supernatural expansion pack the absolute most since I'm such a lover of witches. In the Sims 2, Riverblossom Hills was hands down my favorite neighborhood. I was weirdly a big fan of that zig-zaggy road in the northeast part of the map.
favourite townie(s): Sims 4: Zoe Patel for base game, Akira Kibo if we're counting the expansion packs. Zoe is just a cutie patootie and Akira is the best-ever townie legacy husband because he makes gorgeous kids. Sims 3: Agnes Crumplebottom is my girl for life. I did so, so many stories to make her life better because I felt awful for her. For the Sims 2, while he's objectively the worst-ever dude, I enjoyed blowing up Daniel Pleasant's life so much. He always gets caught cheating by Mary-Sue, has both of his daughters go no-contact with him, knocks up Kaylynn Langerak who always leaves him, and ends up getting with his ex-wife.
most used pack(s): Realm of Magic, Cats & Dogs, and Cottage Living for the Sims 4. Growing Together is rapidly catching up, though. In the Sims 3 it was Supernatural, Generations, and Seasons. In the Sims 2, FreeTime, University, and Seasons.
favourite decor object (no cc): If forced to pick one, the telescope from Werewolves, easily:
Tumblr media
I just love that it's small and manageable, the huge telescope observatory thing from the base game was just obscenely huge.
something you want in the game: I want hobbies to be recognized in the same way they were in Sims 2: FreeTime, funerals (like this but unironically), the drama after school club to also have a reward trait like the scouts and HSY clubs do, and also more options for painting (like being able to apply a style to a reference painting).
what colour is your plumbob right now: Yellow-green, I ate food and all my other motives are high except for sleep, because I've had insomnia lately and it's been harshing all the vibes.
TAG YR IT (if you want, I'm not your dad): @rebouks, @shadowcursedballs, @nigmos, anyone else who wants to do this can say I tagged them! And if you've already done this and I miss it, sorry!

ooh 5, 8 and 31 for the ask game? theres a right answer for the last one /j
cheers and thank you imma drop a ball with this one <3
5. Character with the best design
I can't choose just one so imma do boys and girls categories
Girlies: Super torn between Shirayuki and Kageya. Everything about Shirayuki is straight up gorgeous and I absolutely LOVE all her outfits and hairstyles, esp the harem pants Sensei started drawing her in + I think her earrings are an amazing addition. Okay, so Kageya. There is just smt about Kageya's subtle beauty, is it the hair? maybe. The soft yet sussy look? probably. She just sticks out to me for some reason.
Babygirls Boys: Obi takes the cake cause he is just my fav type of anime guy. Dark hair, cat eyes and stylish. His color pallete is very nice too! Honorary mentions: Zen and Hisame. Zen is so eye catching and you can really tell he IS the Prince. And Hisame looks like noble-fied Obi. 10/10 smash.
8. Character that is most like you
Girl, when I tell you I've been thinking about this the WHOLE DAY and still didn't have a proper answer....sheesh. I came to a conclusion that maybe I'm like Obi? Not in an edgy way but in i-dont-understand-my-feelings-and-emotions-but-i-know-i-love-these-people orsmtlikethatidontfuckingknow I would also say I'm pretty funny?? and I would rather joke than discuss my emotions? I like to keep pretty tightknit group of friends, just vibe and go with the flow (my corpse in the river mentality). Also impostor syndrom.💀 On the other hand I got Hisame in Tomo's quiz and I trust Tomo's judgement so ig hes like me fr
31. Which one is better: manga or anime?
Vi. Viol. Listen here. Come closer. I can't believe you would anime better even ask me something anime better like that when you anime better know damn well I can't anime better simply just choose. Both are equality good and have their pros and cons.
but srs I think both are great and well made and I can't judge them on the same basis as anime is more aesthetically pleasing and has a soundtrack and amazing voiceacting while the manga is WAY more detailed, elaborate and impactful with the panel placement. PLUS U HAVENT WATCHED THE ANIME U CANT JUDGE-

BBQ Bill's is a construction contractor in Las Vegas that can build your dream custom outdoor kitchen, BBQ island kitchen and outdoor fire features that will turn your garage into summertime fun! An indoor-outdoor kitchen is a wonderful option to expand your entertaining space while also creating an eye-catching design aesthetic. For those who love to entertain, this is a great design feature for summertime enjoyment. It helps to expand your kitchen space while hosting guests while also providing a convenient way to pass food and beverages outside.
You can entertain more easily by connecting your indoor kitchen to your outdoor deck or patio with a pass-through or bi-fold window or outdoor kitchen pavilion. This space-saving design will serve as a key access point from indoors to outdoors. These multi-functional windows will take up less space than a door while offering plenty of convenience, fresh air, and natural light.
There are various ways to open your kitchen to the great outdoors, whether it be through disappearing walls or folding windows. Have a look below for some inspiring ideas to help get you started!
1. Indoor Outdoor Kitchen. A new kitchen was added to a century-old home with an indoor-outdoor connection. A pergola comes out over an accordion door, sourced from Northwest Door & Sash Company.. 4. Outdoor Bar Passthrough. An accordion window closes off the indoor/outdoor seating of this fabulous kitchen that faces the Severn River, Maryland. (via Lang and Company)
5. Integrated Outdoor Kitchen. Accordion doors blend an indoor kitchen with an outdoor kitchen and dining deck. The awning roof is freestanding to allow summer air to flow through and to simplify construction. (via Danny Broe Architect)
6. Indoor-Outdoor Bar. This indoor/outdoor kitchen can be completely opened up courtesy of the 9500 Series Bi-Fold Doors & Windows from the Western Window Systems. The doors open the kitchen as a convenient pass-through to a long bar outside for enjoying the summer weather. (via Western Window Systems)
7. Passthrough Window to Deck. The kitchen is a great place for entertaining family and friends. With the large open window and bar, this space is a great way for anyone in the kitchen to interact with those who are relaxing outside at the window bar. (via Melton Design Build)

17. Indoor-Outdoor Kitchen. An Edwardian home in Melbourne, Australia takes its inspiration from the magic of the Hamptons. Bi-fold windows open the kitchen to the outdoor entertaining deck, where the countertop extends from the kitchen. The blue counter stools add a pop of color. (Adore Home Magazine)
6 Tips for Turning Your Garage Into an Outdoor Kitchen
There are many reasons to convert your garage into a kitchen. Especially if it’s attached to a garage you rarely use. It can become just another place to put your crap. So why not convert that space into something that can be used to cook outdoors year round??
You’ll be able to create more square footage in your home and maybe even have a dining room. If your original kitchen was too small, you’ll be able to expand your work area and create the kitchen you’ve always dreamed of having. Once you’ve decided you want to turn your garage into a kitchen there are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind as you go about your project. Here are a few tips.
Understand the Basics of Your Conversion
Make a list of all the things you currently keep in your garage. You’ll want to find homes for all that stuff. If you are storing stuff that could easily be stored in a shed and you have one, then it’s just a matter of moving that to the shed.
If you don’t have a shed, you might consider renting a storage unit or building a shed on your property. There are many big box stores that sell storage shed kits that will suit your project nicely. You’ll also want to understand the total cost of your conversion. You’ll want to research how to finance home improvement because you’ll most likely be getting a loan to complete this project.
You’ll also want to research any building codes or permits you may need to obtain through the city, county, or HOA you belong to. There may be restrictions you aren’t aware of and could cause you heartache and more expense if you don’t follow the rules.
Look at Your Load Bearing Walls
If your garage and kitchen share a wall and you are considering knocking out the wall between them, you’ll want to review your building plans to make sure you aren’t removing or damaging a load bearing wall.
A load bearing wall is one that is critical to holding the whole structure up and in place. If you happen to remove the wrong parts, you could risk part of your home collapsing. Most homes have plans that have been submitted to the city or county offices and can be reviewed.
If you had your home built, you’ll probably already have a set of plans that were used to build it. You’ll want to review it with a contractor to ensure you’re removing or changing the right parts to a load bearing wall.
Don’t Forget About Insulation
Most newer homes have well insulated garages, but there are still a few homes around that don’t. You’ll want to be sure to get the right R-rating insulation to keep your new kitchen insulated from the cold outdoors. Depending on where you live, you’ll need to research what R-value insulation is appropriate.
Getting the wrong insulation means a colder room and higher heating bills. Not to mention the possibility of water pipes breaking. Your kitchen will have plumbing fixtures that will need to be protected.
Check the Windows
If your garage has windows, you’ll want to consider upgrading them to good solid double pane windows. If you’re going to be installing windows, you’ll want to review where your electrical wires run so you don’t end up having to reroute or cut lines. You don’t always have to buy new windows to get what you need. Many construction outlets will have returns and craigslist is a great place to search for the right window at the right price.
Decide on Kitchen Appliances
Are you going to replace all your kitchen appliances? Perhaps you just bought that new dishwasher a year ago and it still runs like a dream. Consider smaller appliances like a sink disposal and trash compactor when you’re planning your layout.
All of these types of appliances will need to be situated to best utilize the existing structure. Perhaps your kitchen drains are easily accessible once you tear down the wall between the garage and the kitchen. If this is the case, then you’ll want to situate your sink where you are able to plug directly into the existing drains.
This saves a bunch of time and money from having to route new drains to the exterior. Your water faucets will probably be the same, too.
Don’t Forget the Time Factor
When you’re planning this conversion, consider that at some point, your kitchen won’t be available to use. It could take a few weeks to get everything in place to work again. If you don’t have a plan for this time, you might be in hot water with your family, let alone uncomfortable yourself.
This doesn’t have to happen. You can consider working in stages, so that each stage has a short period of time that the kitchen isn’t used and then it’s usable again. Repeat this until you’ve finished the project. Or you may consider putting your family up in a rental while you finish the job. If you’re able to afford that, it’s a viable option. Whatever the outcome, don’t forget that at some point, both your garage and your kitchen won’t be usable.
If you aren’t using your garage for its intended purpose and you’ve decided to make use of that space to extend your home and build a kitchen, you’ll need to remember these tips to help you create the best experience for your project and for your family.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a garage typically included in the square footage of a house? In most cases, the square footage of your home includes only livable spaces. So, a garage would only count toward the square footage of a home if it is finished (with flooring, walls, heat, and electricity) and has been legally converted into a living space.
Can I convert my garage without a permit? The answer depends on where you live and the scope of your project, so check with your local zoning department before making any changes. If you are making structural or electrical changes, moving or adding plumbing, or installing HVAC, you will likely need a permit.
Will converting my garage add value to my home?Again, the answer depends on where you live and what type of space you are building. If your garage conversion is properly permitted and performed professionally, it can add interest and valuable square footage to your property. If, however, your neighborhood has limited street parking or your home has limited storage, a converted space might negatively impact the value of your home.
How much does it cost to convert a garage? On average, it will cost between $5,000 and $26,000 to convert an unfinished garage into a livable space. If you are installing new floors, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, that cost could climb to $50,000 or more depending on the project and the size of the space.

My Writing Process: Week One
Tumblr media
So I'm going to post these every Friday (or whenever I remember). These are going to be about my progress on my new WIP, a sort of week by week report of what gets done. (this will fluctuate, so don't be surprised if some posts have more than others).
So it's been a week since I finished my last project TTK, and between projects I like to give myself a week of peace and rest just to get any trace of my last projects out of my system. I catch up on my Netflix (chill with some true crime documentaries or watch some movies on my TBW list).
---------------------------------------------------
Usually I have an idea already forming when I'm finishing a project, so I have the basic concepts fleshed out before I take up a note book and jot my ideas down. Once they're on a page (or my notes app since I'm waiting for a new notebook 🙄), I can see what is vibing and what isn't. My original concept doesn't vibe with me anymore (a fantasy quest) but the bones of my story are still in place.
---------------------------------------------------
Before I flesh out the plot, which is next week's job, I spent this week sitting down and asking myself the main questions:
Who is my protagonist? How did they get to this point in their life?
Who is my supporting cast? How did they get here?
Does the story support multiple PoVs? Will a single PoV do?
What's the overall vibe of the story? (gritty) Is it going to be dark? (yes, incredibly so) Are there a lot of twists? (oh, yes ☺️)
---------------------------------------------------
Once these questions are answered, I move into fleshing out the protagonist and his supporting characters. I work on voice first, trying out lines of dialogue and offering them scenarios to get through. I know what kind of person I want them to be at the beginning, the basic archetype such as the funny guy, the witty soicalitez, the dashing spy. At the beginning, all I need to know is the outward characture of who they are. To build on that, I begin to put them into situations such as:
Would they stand up against somebody being a dick? If so how?
How would they react to a betrayal? What constitutes to a betrayal to them?
How far would they take retribution?
---------------------------------------------------
Once I have finished a quick study on characters, I move onto the backdrop of the story. I always feel more sure of a story when I can picture myself standing in the world. I begin first drawing the map. I tried all my favourite methods: the Rice Krispie Method (literally dumping the cereal onto a page and drawing around it), the Planting Method (layer long maps on maps) & Free Line Method (doodling until it vibed) before finally choosing the Free Line Method and having my map. I carve out the counties on the land, adding cities and notable landmarks such as mountains & rivers.
---------------------------------------------------
At this stage in the story, I have to only fully develop 2 of the countries where the story will take place. I make bullet points of the other lands, denoting government systems, culture, standing with the story, place it has and tie-in with the main plot.
---------------------------------------------------
But for the two main stages of the story, I begin to ask myself the important questions (this is one if my favourite worldbuilding techniques, I'd be lost without it). By the time I finish my research and my notes, I should know how to behave in the society, what's acceptable to do and say, the issues of the systems in place such as law and order, the aesthetics of the clothes of each class, how the upperclasses and lower classes see one another and the basics of the culture. I always go into writing knowing more about the world than I actually need to put on the page. I always like to leave some room in my first draft to chop and change details (it's the best way to allow myself room).
---------------------------------------------------
Also I have made a plan of the city where this story will take place. Usually I leave myself room to plan out cities but this time I decided to make a detailed plan. This took me 3 or 4 tries just to get a map I was comfortable with. It's no detailed plan of course, I'm not Michaelangelo. It's a simple map with important landmarks drawn in just so I can find my way around.
---------------------------------------------------

can i request some fluff headcanons of kuroo, akaashi and kenma playing acnh and they visit a random island and it’s rlly nice and they talk to the user and turns out it’s their rival from school and have some rival turn to lovers sprinkled in somewhere uwu (f!reader pls!)
i hope my island can become as nice as y/n’s one day
kuroo tetsurou:
Tumblr media
(he is so soft in that gif i can’t)
-he didn’t really know what animal crossing was until he saw kenma playing it one day and decided to give it a try just to see what the hype was all about
-eventually gets a bit bored on his own island and decides to go to someone else’s to get ideas on what to do
-the island he arrives on has so many fruit trees and a lot of river areas filled with a variety of fish. and we all know that homeboy loves his fish
-he’s just chilling on the beach with his fishing rod until you approach him and your name pops up on his nook phone
-a small fire burns within him upon discovering that he had just blankly stumbled on his rival’s island. the drive to outdo you in science automatically translates into the game
-cue the start a passive aggressive fishing competition, and you beating him since he’s still inexperienced with fishing
-is so salty about it that he doesn’t open the game until two days later, only to find a present box from you in the mail
-“i had a lot of fun! you’re welcome to come back any time you’d like. i just though i’d send this to you in the meantime ;3″
-he opens it expecting a troll gift, but gets mixed feelings when it’s actually,,,a rare fish?
-y’all have been at each other’s necks for a while but he knows where this could go and wants to keep playing with you for longer, hoping your newly formed relationship will grow into something more
akaashi keiji:
Tumblr media
-he doesn’t play video games that often but after seeing all of the promotions for the game he thinks it looks really cute and relaxing and decides to give it a try
-joins an anonymous group chat where other people at fukurodani exchange codes to go to their islands and decides to pick a random one just for funsies
-he arrives and is taken aback at how much it resembles an aesthetic anime movie with all of the flowers and trees, the abundance of peach trees adding to the soft beauty of the island
-akaashi isn’t really one to form hostile rivalries but he does feel a little bit competitive with you since you’re the vice-captain of the girls’ volleyball team and you guys often compare the teams’ plays and number of wins
-so when he discovers that you’re the owner of this beautiful island, he strives to make his even better, collecting fruits from different players and grinding to make as many upgrades as possible
-you guys shoot messages to each other and send letters about your progress in the game
-he always chuckles inwardly at how frustrated you get when he does something before you
-and also finds it,,,kinda cute
-once he collects more stuff, he invites you over to his island for a trip to the museum, where you two just vibe and it feels so serene getting to hang out calmly like this, even though it’s just a game
-y’all never want the moment to end, and end up going on a lot more little in-game dates in the future
kozume kenma:
Tumblr media
-has already stayed up countless nights, working hard to make an island with a similar theme to another one of his favorite games
-when he stumbles across your island, he’s taken aback at how advanced it is and goes to approach you to ask how you did everything so fast
-but when he finds out that you’re his rival who destroyed him in overwatch and beat all of his rpg games before he did, oH does he grow internally feral
-isn’t usually confrontational, but feels the need to relentlessly update you every time he gets a new villager or builds a new commodity
-he’s impassioned by games all the time yet he doesn’t know why he feels more fired up than usual while playing with you
-and why his heart pounds whenever he sends you a letter, oh no
-he’s fallen for you
-he has a feeling that you like him too because you always address him as ‘honey’ and ‘darling’ in a teasing way in your letters to him
-not knowing how to verbally confess to you, he puts his designing skills to the test and makes a nice dress for you
-“you should wear this when you come over and see how much my island’s grown”
-you guys spend time looking at the night sky, hoping to catch sight of some shooting stars
-you guys are a bit disappointed that none showed up but he shoots you a message that completes the evening better than anything else
-“it’s okay, i just really like being with you :)”

REAL LIFE VAMPIRE COUPLE: TBS X READER RATING: FLIRTY
Tumblr media
When I woke up I groaned a little turning over to check the time it's only eleven still I got back late last night. I sat up having a stretch and I noticed something, My bed was empty. I looked across the room and saw Thomas sat on my sofa with a blanket watching tv with a bowl of popcorn on his lap, I smiled going over sneaking up on him a little
"Comfy?" I asked
"ahh! fucking! Christ woman! don't sneak up on me like that"
"I thought you were a vampire? with all the super senses and what not?"
"I'm a vampire. Not physic."
"What are you doing?"
"Catching up, I have missed a lot" He said "What the hell has happened since I've been gone?"
"Lots."
"So many new countries"
"Yep"
"I missed so much," He says as he watched the screen and I had a bit of a giggle as I noticed he was watching twilight just as he was sparkling "I have never been so offended in my life"
"Yeah, that's universally hated"
"Good.... good, What is a vampire movie that's well-liked?"
"There aren't any. They're all terrible, You'd Like Tim burton though. That's kinda his vibe"
"Is it? good. Also what is cardor and can I have some?"
"what?"
"cardor? It was on the tv"
"Carte D'or? it's ice ceam thomas"
"Ohh..... can we get some?"
"I thought you drank blood?"
"I do."
"And eat like meat?"
"I do"
"So why do you want ice cream?"
"am I not allowed to want ice cream?" he asks "I'm pretty sure perfum is for vampires... it looked like it"
"No that's just perfume Thomas it's how they advertise. You can't really sell  a smell via tv without getting creative"
"But why where they all like nuzzling each others necks and looking like they were gonna bite or fuck each other?"
"Maybe you just saw a particularly gothic ad"
"Maybe, either that Or I just saw it like that. It has been many hundreds of years... Not surprised I'm a little horny. seriously DO NOT take a black light to that mausoleum... you will not like what you discover."
"Why?"
"I've been sealed away in that thing for hundreds of years, on my own.... intermittently sleeping. and eating. what do you think I've been doing?"
"You're disgusting" I sighed going for a bath
"What? I drink human blood and eat flesh, that your fine with but jerking off is where you draw the line?"
"Do not jerk off In my house you disgusting monster" I yelled
"..... Where was that an hour ago?"
"DO not jerk off in my house or so help me I am sealing you back in that mausoleum and welding the fucking door shut" I warned him heading into the bathroom running my hot steamy bath with a nice bath bomb starting to wash my skin and he came and leant on the door frame making me jump a little
"Maybe I should mate with you. You're as whiney as a wife" He sighed "And you already have the aesthetic"
"shut up Thomas" I sighed
"whoa.... Holy... I am HOT!" he yelled excitedly I was a little confused looking over at him as he stood eagerly over my sink staring at himself in my mirror
"What?" I laughed
"what? I've not seen myself before. vampires don't have reflections not sure why I do now?"
"People stopped using mercury in mirrors it's just glass"
"Oh. so I have a reflection now?" He said, "I definitely need to shave."
"I don't mind it" I shrug
"don't you? the first person to tell me that in a thousand years" He laughs
"Question?" I asked as he was still inspecting himself in the mirror
"Yes?"
"Why are you in here?"
"This is where the mirror is?"
"There is a mirror on my vanity thomas. you do not need to be here"
"why not?"
"This is my bathroom. I am... In a bath"
"Ohh relax, vampire women, run around half-naked all the time. Unmarried ones ran through the forests naked when I was younger"
"So what times have changed get out of my bathroom!" I told him
"Fine, you look beautiful though my littlw wiccan"
"Out!" I ordered, and he did go I finished my bath and got wrapped up in my robe going out to see im still at my vanity looking at himself "That's how narsisius died you know" I told him
"Ohh please, the tales around his death were greatly exaggerated to make that point," He says
"Move," I told him so he moved over till there was enough space for me to sit too, so I sighed sitting beside him and starting to do my makeup and hair for the day
"Goth girl" He smirked
"what?" "Goth girl" He smirked looking at my make up
"Shut up, I like it."
"you are so committed to it aren't you? this lipstick literally says coven on it"
"I like the colour, and it smells like vanilla"
"sure you do" He smirked
"How do you know about how he died?" I asked
"who?"
"Narsisius"
"Oh. he was my dad's friend's son I think. hard to remember it was so long ago now" "wasn't that like.... way way back?"
"I did say I have been gone a while"
"Not that long"
"Vampires have been around a long time my little Wiccan." "Ohh shut up, please stop calling me that" "Why? it's cute. it suits you"
"How long exactly?" I asked ignoring him
"I have no idea. the calendar keeps changing. Every time I come back for a while the whole system different." he sighed "But I remember him, used to go to the river a lot. but not to stare at himself" "Then to do what?"
"He was a colossal fucking perv" He laughs "He used to go down and watch the girls bathe on a Thursday afternoon"
"And you know this? How?" I smirked as I blended my makeup
"I was two hundred leave me alone"
"No, I won't" "I was a teenager leave me be"
"two hundred is teen by your standards?"
"Yeah?"
"so... when you were two hundred?"
"I was mentally like, fourteen if that. But I looked about six. Yeah I had problems with that. Late bloomer my mum said, My dad, said I was too much like my mother" He laughs "But he used to go down the river watch the girls and uhhh... you know with himself."
"so how did he die?"
"He got obsessed with it. he'd be down there twice a day, the practically pitched a tent and moved down the river just so he could be pervy and jerk off all the time"
"so?"
"so, you live off a diet of forest berries and you jerk off sixteen times a day it's gonna kill you after a while"
"Hu. fair enough" I shrug "Are all that kinda people vampires?" "Most of them, I'm not sure how you guys never figured that out, human or blood sacrifices, living forever, never aging, amazing powers, mating with humans make half human half other."
"You have a point there"

AESTHETIC: NATURAL LANDSCAPES
bold whichever aesthetically-pleasing imagery fits your muse to a T. italicize the ones that are only somewhat their vibe. repost, do not reblog!
I.  fluffy, white nimbus clouds.  dark, grey cumulonimbus clouds. rain clouds.  a hurricane.  light spring breeze. hazy yellow skies.  deep blue ponds of freshwater. blankets of sparkling snow. tornado winds.  monsoon flooding.  rich, orange sunsets.  soft, purple clouds at dusk. heavy hail.  the rumbling of thunder.  icy sleet.  gentle snowfall.  moss-dusted tree bark. pink sunset clouds.
II.  grey winter skies.  navy blue skies in the daytime.  cool mist in the morning.  leaf-bare trees.  giant ocean waves. the full moon. a cracked, dry desert. rolling hills of prairie grass. sweeping waves of briny seawater.  rocky, steep ravines.  rippling canyon walls.  spindly, cave stalactites. creeping, green ivy.  lush canopies of leafy trees.  dense, white fog.  a peaceful creek of clear water.  flowering cacti. catching light in the morning sun.  a bubbling, hot pool of volcanic sulfur. sharp, grey mountainsides.  fossils nestled in chunks of rock.  a white sand beach.  deep imprints of animal tracks in the dirt.
III.  soft, squishy moss. uniform rows of birch trees in winter.  delicate mushrooms popping up in spring from beneath the decay on the forest floor.  tumbleweeds jerking in the faintest wind across the desert landscape.  light rain.  summer wildfires.  a mix of hot and cool air before a storm. silent lightning in the static of summer heat.  a windy blizzard.  thick flakes of snow tumbling down from the sky. a tree standing alone in a barren, yellow field.  a desert of loose sand and tall, orange dunes.  a pure blue sky.  a river of molten rock.  a grove of flowering trees. twisting, mangled roots sticking up from the muddy ground.
IV.  bitter, cold winds.  tumultuous skies of stormy clouds.  branches of lightning, ripping across the sky. a foggy swamp.  the tree-bare foothills of a mountain range.  sandy brown cliff sides.  rocky coastlines.  the violent shaking of an earthquake. the lights of the auroras borealis and australis.  a black sand beach.  a lone tropical island in the reef of shallow, aqua waters.  underwater volcanic vents.  a herd of migrating mammals. tree branches growing heavy with ripe fruit.  light streaming down through the clouds. a field of lush grain waving peacefully in the summer breeze.  the sound of insects and frogs teeming in the night. natural disaster.

*A A A A A A, that Rainbow High Season 1 Finale tho~*
So I managed to catch it around this morning (had to take some time to eat breakfast and clean up a bit tho so I didn't have time to type out my thoughts atm), sooooo here's a lil rundown of what I thought of it 'cause man am I hyyyyyyped~ 🌈
Tumblr media
~*SPOILER WARNINGS BELOW*~
-It was really cool how each of the girls incorporated a "rain/weather" theme to their runway performances (from drops of rain, thunder rumbling, freakin lighting... like damn, how are these girls not already graduated pros I don't even know fljkj)
-An interesting choice to make that not every girl had a strictly-formal look to their final runway outfits; kinda brought me back to how they designed everyones' Cheerleader looks to be all unique yet identical-enough to stand well as an official team. Interesting~
-Loved all those lil cameo shots of other notable RH characters (background-wise and so on) just hanging out and looking excited for the main girls' show, really gave us a nice feel of "unity" in a way~😊
-Huh, didn't expect them to already showcase those twins I saw leaked around over on some Instagram concept sketches... but hmmm, guess they're planned to be our next seasons' antagonists with their "sly" vibes here? :o
Tumblr media
-Those video monologues from each girl describing their friendships and development up to that point was pretty sweet to see (even Violet's seems like she's been truly taking their words to heart in grounding herself down better? Good for you girl 👍)
-Ooh look! Finally got a glimpse of what Jett Dawson looks like within the web series' world (since we only ever got brief cameos of her in magazines/passing mentions)... wonder what her role's gonna be like in the future? 👀
Tumblr media
-Of course, not too surprising the girls had ended up passing their runway exam at the end... but dawww it was still touching seeing them all genuinely congratulating one another on their progress (and again, Violet pleasantly surprised me seeing how genuine she was to compliment Sunny first of them all (even calling her hot ghljkj)- definitely refreshing to see compared to how "distant" they were in earlier episodes; fingers crossed for the next season to keep this angle up 🤞)
-*Sunny calling Lou Wright "mom" tho-* 😂
-Omg, but that lil twist reveal at the end... YAAAY, Bella's finally back, guys~!! 😭💖 AND she brought that one color-changing car I've seen advertised on some merch concepts? Sweeeeet~ 👌👌
Tumblr media
----------
...Soooo yeah, all in all a very worthwhile season finale that was, glad I finally got around to giving this series a chance enough to catch up with it as everyone else~ 🥺💜 As for what I personally thought of the girls' actual runway looks? Weeeell-
Tumblr media
*-Amaya's was pretty lovely; glad she actually went back to her white-hair look for this one since it really blended in well with her overall outfit vibe (that lil shot of River being into it was cute lol)
*-Violet's was... cute, though admittedly kinda "plain", for a runway look imo? ^^; Idk, maybe its just me but I do like the lil pearl-beading & feather look (kinda gives me 20's flapper vibes). Maybe it'll look a lil better on the future doll design?
*-Woooow, Skylar really stole the show here with how fab her whole vibe was; from the hair to the dress shape... hell even the denim fabric worked pretty well after I looked at it a few times. Good work girl~ 💙 (also lmao that shade to Colin tho... you lost your chance, boy lol deal with it~😎)
*-JADE THOUGH, JAAAADE~! Man she REALLY came through on her own look next to Skylar- those black lips, that detailed ponytail, those black/silver-y accented clothes AND a whole lightning-skirt to top it off near the end? *chef kisses* Perfection~ 💚💚👏
*-I love the makeup and hair look for Sunny (especially with those lil baby hair accents~)... though for her final umbrella-inspired dress I'm still not 100% sure how I feel about it 🤔 I mean it is unique, for sure... but against the other girls I just don't know if it really "fits" in with everyone else's aesthetic? Idk, maybe thats just me- *-Poppyyyy, really cute entrance with those monarch butterflies and the similarily-inspired dress look~ 🥺🧡 Part of me kiiiiinda feels like the skirt was animated a bit awkwardly within the show's style... but again, maybe for the doll it'll be structured a bit better?
*-And as for Ruby... hmm, interesting idea it was to blend in her regular street-wear aesthetic with a fancier skirt train and hat veil. Like Sunny I miiiight need to take a bit to fully get used to the overall outfit design, but at least her makeup's still pretty~
-------
Soooo with all that said, if I had to rank their overall runway looks myself, here's how they'd stand with me:
Jade
Skylar
Amaya
Poppy
Violet
Sunny
Ruby

Warnings: mention of death, a lil bit of sadness, maybe a curse word, fear of dying, little bit of a panic attack
Note: wow this is my only fic that has a second part lol

Tumblr media
It truly had been years since you’ve last seen the Mauraders, the little group at Hogwarts that bullied you and your best friend, Severus Snape. You and Snape stayed friends all throughout school and kept in touch after, learning that he was working to become the new Potions Professor at Hogwarts in a few years.
You took another route, choosing to work in the field of Herbology and slowly make your way up to a healer. The two of you worked hand in hand most of the time, helping one another with certain tasks you had to do to get your degrees.
However, your plans halted as you and Severus heard rumors one night that the Potter’s have been attacked. You were somewhat close to Lily, staying friends with her even though James was an absolute handful. You were there for Lily when she found out she was pregnant and was also there for Severus when he heard the news. Sure, seeing Lily and James get married was tough, but seeing them start a family? No easy feat.
As the whispers grew louder one night when you and Severus were walking home, your two houses next to each other, you both gave one another knowing looks - you should go to the Potter’s. Godric’s Hallow truly wasn’t far so you both ran, hoping to find someone alive.
You shivered, shaking your head as you tried to forget that moment. You were standing around Lily and James’ caskets, watching them being lowered into their graves. Severus stood beside you, reaching for your hand which you gladly let him hold. He was trying to be strong for you, for Lily, but now she was dead and there was nothing he could do about it.
You even felt a bit bad for James. Sure, he was an asshole and bullied you and Sev, but that didn’t mean he deserved to die. Over the years, he apologized to you and Severus for his actions and told you that he saw you as a younger sister, even naming you as Harry’s Godmother.
You and Sev never saw that coming.
But now, you had no clue where Harry was. You asked Dumbledore - actually, demanded - where he was, and all he told you was that he was safe. He promised he wouldn’t be harmed in any way, shape, or form. You still didn’t feel any better.
Letting out a shaky breath and wiping a stray tear from your face, you looked up, only to meet a solemn glance of none other than Remus Lupin. You hated to admit it, especially at the funeral of one of your closest friends, but Remus had grown attractive. You were sure Lily was laughing hysterically at you in Heaven.
You gave him a small smile, somehow communicating that you wanted to talk to him after the burial was over. He nodded, a lost smile on his face as well. Sirius stood beside him as Peter was behind the duo, looking like he wanted to leave.
As the funeral ended, you told Severus to meet you at home, that you wanted to catch up with Remus and Sirius. He looked at you with a confused look, “do you need me here? In case they get out of hand?”
You shook your head, “we’re adults now, Sev; I’m sure they’ve grown up.”
“Certainly not Sirius,” Sev mumbled, tossing a disgruntled glance towards the group. You smacked him on the shoulder, telling him to run along before you force-apparated him.
As he left, you made your way over to the remaining Mauraders, “hey. . .sorry we had to see each other under these circumstances.”
Remus was the first to greet you, his hug feeling longer than usual, “me too. Knowing Lily and James though, they’d want us to be out and about like nothing changed.”
Sirius grumbled, “yeah, well, they’re not here anymore, are they?” Angry tears looked ready to spill.
You put both hands on his cheeks, “Sirius, hey, it’ll be okay. Harry is still alive and as his godparents, we’re gonna make sure nobody is going to hurt him, you hear me?” With a nod, he pulled you into a hug as well, not lasting as long as Remus’. He pulled away with a tight smile, patting you gently on the cheek.
Remus tried not to focus on the caskets being buried, turning back to his friends, “here, let’s go for a little walk, how’s that?” Turning to the group, he heard Sirius and Peter saying goodbye and scurrying off, already looking for a way to forget the day.
You gave him a small smile, shrugging your shoulders, “we all have different ways to cope. Still want to go on that walk?”
Remus chuckled, “sounds good to me, darling.”
As the two of you walked, you looked up at Remus, “I just realized. . .we never really talked about one of the last times I ever spoke to you - in the courtyard. I’m -”
Remus shushed you, pulling your arm into his, “I know I’m not about to hear you apologize. I’m sorry for never stopping them from antagonizing you and Severus - that wasn’t right of me.”
You let a smile take over your face, “all is forgiven, Remus. Sorry that I called you despicable.”
He chuckled, “all is forgiven, Y/N.”
Remus continued, walking with your arms intertwined, “so, how long have you and Severus been seeing each other?”
You tried your best not to laugh, “Rem, we’re not together; just best friends is all.”
You noticed how red his face turned, “Oh Merlin, I-I am so sorry, I just saw you two holding hands and I just thought -”
“You’re not the first person, Remus; Dumbledore thought the same thing, “you explained, reveling in the conversation. The more you talked with Remus, the more you wanted to talk with him forever.
Remus chuckled, “glad I’m not the only one embarrassed, then.”
The two of you continued to walk until you reached a familiar street, seeing your house lit with your lights on. As you walked closer to your house, you looked up at Remus, “would you like to come inside for some tea? You’re welcome to stay and even have Sirius come over. It’s been a rough day.”
Remus walked with you up to your front door, “are you sure? I really don’t want to be intruding.”
With a smile, you unlocked the door and opened it, inviting him inside, “just get inside, Remus.”
When inside, he noticed your style had completely changed. Sure, he noticed your small tattoos on your fingertips and one on your wrist, but this was a whole new you. You had multiple bookcases and over a hundred books, some laying on the floor from there being no space. Your couch had a bit of a mess on it as you scrambled to straighten it up, the trees outside your windows not allowing you to see very well. Your lights only emitted a small radiance, the rooms being very dark.
Many plants were placed on shelves in your living room, hanging over a few pieces of small decor as pictures of you and a couple faces he didn’t recognize littered the wall. Of course, a multitude of records were hung on your wall as well. Your living room led into your kitchen which was almost the same style - but he noticed it wasn’t as dark. Sure, there were more books and plants but there was light, a few cutting boards help up against the backsplash, a tea kettle still laying on the stove, cups neatly organized on a little shelf, and cinnamon rolls - which looked freshly made - laying in a pan on the counter.
“Sorry for the mess,” you started, “hasn’t been a great couple years and the only person I’ve had over is Sev.”
Remus shook his head with a laugh, helping you balance a couple things, “it’s not a bother, dear. But what do you mean by the last couple years?”
You shrugged, “it was before I reconnected with Lily and you guys; I just got mixed up with the wrong people and did some questionable things and. . .got myself into a mess.”
He noticed you space out for a second before finishing off, “but through that, I developed a new love - academia.”
Remus raised an eyebrow, “like, dark academia?”
You smiled, “exactly! That’s Sev’s whole ‘vibe’ he gives off, but the people I met. . .they weren’t good, and they kind of, dug me into this hole that I can’t really get out of. But hey, I’m not complaining because the aesthetic is breathtaking.”
Remus stood there, silent, as he processed what you told him. You hung around a bad group of people, and they must’ve really degraded you, making you feel terrible about yourself. Why did he start to get angry?
“But that’s why I have herbology, and of course, Lily brought some of that light back into my life,” you started with a smile, “I’ve been working with some healers at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, creating some new remedies and such. And gosh, Harry is one of the brightest lights of my life. Now if only Albus told me where he is, that’d be great. “
Remus smiled, walking towards you and holding your hands in his, “I’m extremely proud of you, Y/N; your work sounds phenomenal. But you know it’s for his and yours’ safety. If You-Know-Who or any of his followers found you and him. . .”
You blushed, “thank you, Remus. . .that actually means a lot. And I know, but that boy needs someone he knows, and for all I know, he could be drifting down a river like fricken Moses.”
“Afraid I don’t get that reference, darling, but I’m sure he’s safe and sound. Was that a Muggle thing?” Remus asked, a small smile on his lips as he put his hands in his pockets.
You laughed, “yeah, it’s a Muggle story.” A comfortable silence enveloped the two of you before you sighed, “anyways, what have you been up to?”
“Well, I’ve been-” A knock at the door interrupted him.
You gave a sympathetic smile, “give me a sec.” Reaching the door, you opened it to see a nervous-looking Severus Snape, “everything okay, Sev?”
He gently pushed past you, “hold on, dove. Remus,” he started, making the mentioned man turn around, “it’s a full moon tonight.”
You raised an eyebrow, “inviting him on our late-night escapades?” Nobody laughed at your joke, making you feel uneasy, “what’s got everybody’s wand in a knot about a full moon?”
Remus let out a shaky breath, turning to you, “love, I’m so sorry but I actually have to get going. I promise I’ll make this up to you.” He walked over to you, giving your cheek a kiss before rushing out the door, past Severus, worriedly glancing at the moon.
You watched him run down the road, tempted to call out to him as your face turned red, but Sev grabbed your arm, pulling you inside and closing the door. You turned to him, “what the hell was that all about?”
Severus sat you down on your couch that laid against two walls, “he had to get out of here, Y/N. You weren’t safe with him here, especially during a full moon.”
You scoffed, “Sev, Remus was perfectly fine. What on earth are you-”
It hit you. “Oh,” you mumbled, looking at your hands in your lap.
Sev held your hands, just like Remus had a couple minutes prior, “I’m sorry I couldn’t tell you sooner, dove. As much as I hate the man, it isn’t my place.”
You gave him a tight-lipped smile, “no, no, it’s okay Sev. I just. . .wasn’t expecting it, is all. Is it bad that I don’t know if I feel comfortable around him?”
Severus shook his head, “absolutely not, dove. If you don’t want to see him again, that’s your decision. You just let me know.”
With a nod, you stood up and paced, “I think I need a little bit. He’s still Remus but gods forbid, what if you haven’t gotten here? I-I-”
Severus stood up, holding you close to his chest, “deep breaths, dove. You’re still here, you’re okay.”
“I miss them, Sev,” you started, “I miss Lily, I miss Harry, and I even miss James. . .yet I could’ve seen Lils again but I’m not ready, I’m not. Why am I?” Your breath seemed to get caught in your throat, your hands feeling clammy.
Sev held your face in his hands, “you’re alive with me, Y/N. You’re here and breathing and you’re okay. Shh, dove, you’re okay.”
You truly didn’t know how it happened - your breath quickened at the revelation that Remus was a werewolf and the fact that you could’ve died tonight. You weren’t ready to die, but here you were, panicking over something that most likely isn’t going to happen soon. Your mind soon drifted to Remus, hoping he was handling his transformation okay - you hoped he was. Merlin, were you a sucker for him.
