A loud bear roar echoed through the forest, loud enough to give me goose bumps and send several birds flying out of the trees.
“Gods.” I said to myself, shaking my head low.
Toothless is somewhere in this eternal forest and now it turns out there are bears. This is really the last thing I need right now. With any luck, that bear is as far away as heard and my very enthusiastic and curious dragon has nothing to do with him. Or her.
Thor, if it's a she I hope she doesn't have cubs.
“Toothless!...” I lengthened his name as I called him without raising my voice too much. The bastard should be able to hear me perfectly.
I don't even know what happened to him, he seemed to detect something in the distance and by the time I saw his ears straight up it was too late; he had run off, half flying and I lost him in the bushes.
I kicked a small rock, where are you, buddy?
My concern was put aside as I heard rapid footsteps, coming closer and closer to me. I turned, in the same direction as the roar. I squinted and in the distance I could see an... orange ball.
When it was close enough I distinguished that it was hair, and that it belonged to a woman. I stopped analyzing it when I noticed the three bears behind her and completely ignored something that appeared to be a blue light that disappeared when they passed through it.
I didn't know how to react.
But she did.
They were getting closer and closer and when she ran past me, grabbed my hand and practically dragged me away, it was like waking up.
I screamed loudly as we ran as fast as we could, I ended up dragging her and gulped for air when suddenly my feet caught on something and we fell.
One of those falls that you know it's going to hurt before you hit the ground.
I let out a groan and put my hand to my shoulder as I tried to catch the air that left my body after crashing backwards into what seemed to be the hardest rock in the world.
I opened my eyes, as I felt some dirt fall on my face and as I looked up I saw the three bears; standing on the edge of the huge pit. They stood there a bit longer, touching the surface with their paws but ended up choosing to leave.
“Damn it!”
Oh right, the girl. “Are you all right?” I got up after checking my prosthesis and making sure everything was in order.
“Damn you, little hideous freckled monsters!”
I looked at her quizzically; she was sitting on the floor, legs outstretched and staring at a fixed point. She didn't seem to really care about the situation, as if it was nothing more than a casual occurrence.
“Are you all right?”
Only then she seemed to notice my presence, looking up so she could see me, as I was standing next to her. She didn't answer me, the only sound in the cave was the sound of our heaving breaths.
I looked at her, this time with more attention and noticed that her dress was torn and stained in more than one part, my eyes passed many places before reaching hers.
Big and by the light coming through the giant hole, I distinguished the blue in them.
She stood up, pulling out a twig sticking out of his hair and approached me as he tossed it dismissively. “Who are you?”
“Excuse me?”
“Who are you? And what were you doing in the woods,” she grabbed her waist with both hands, “just walking around?”
I blinked, was he really interrogating me, with that accusatory tone?
“To be fair, I wasn't the one being chased by three bears.”
She seemed satisfied with my answer. “… Come.”
I looked at her incredulously, but followed her anyway. “This is all way too confusing. I have about a thousand questions—”
She covered my mouth with one hand, squelching a “What's your name?” as we both frowned; me at her and her at something she seemed to be seeing in the dark. Officially entering my top of strangest interactions.
A ray of sunlight hitting us where we were standing, illuminating our heads and half of her face.
Turquoise, his eyes are turquoise, I corrected myself. One has a slight hint of green around the pupil.
“Did you hear that?” She kept looking for something in the shadowy part of the cave, I admired her profile.
Small, pointed nose, full, slightly parted lips.
I pretended I was also looking for something in the dark when I felt the heat on my cheeks.
Soon after she decided it was nothing and we kept moving through the cave. Well, rather, she walked and did things while I followed her and asked her every question I could think of.
She would answer vaguely, something about her brothers' oats and that it was “a long story”. But when I wanted to know if she had seen a black dragon around, her interest rose incredibly.
Now she was the one asking, as I was looking for a way to make a ladder in the big wall that would lead us out of here.
“You must have something special,” I noticed she looked me up and down as I tried to make the wall more textured, more things to step on. “maybe it has to do with your dragon, and you don't look like any other boy I've ever seen.”
I tore off part of the vine, leaving a single prominent branch; hard and stable. “I'll take that as a compliment.”
This time, she didn't settle. “So where did you say you came from?”
I swallowed hard, picking up a rock from the ground to break a hole in the old wall. It doesn't tend to go over well to say I'm a Viking in unknown lands, more than once I've been thrown into a dungeon, accused of theft, attacked, among other things. I remembered when, once, they laughed in my face because I don't look, at all, like a typical Viking and I rolled my eyes mentally.
“From far, far away you might say.”
“Hmm,” She picked up another stone and started to do the same as me, but higher up. “And may I ask, why did you come from so far away?”
I am the son of a stubborn Viking chief, trying to prove that the inhabitants of other lands can be friendly, contrary to what we have been thinking since, well, the beginning of time.
“Can you tell me why so much interest?”
She shrugged. “Curiosity. Just like you, until just now.”
Touché.
We finished trying to make some sort of makeshift ladder and decided that we should be able to climb well by now.
“Ladies first.”
Taking her dress in both hands, she easily curtsied as she looked at me, sarcasm practically dripping from the expression on her face. “A lady wouldn't let a stranger see under her skirt.” She took that branch, giving it a little tug to make sure it would hold, and pushed herself up.
Never before in my life had I turned red so quickly. “No, not what I, I’d never mean—”
She looked down at me from above, over her shoulder, and let out a mocking laugh that sent the heat back up my neck. She seems to enjoy teasing me a little too much if you ask me.
When I had climbed high enough, I prepared to climb up myself as well.
I brought my right foot up, managing to get it into the makeshift crevice. I grabbed the branch, but stopped when I wanted to bring my left foot up. My very, very metallic left foot.
I wanted to be swallowed by a dragon, I had forgotten.
“Don't tell me you're afraid of heights,” She raised his voice from above.
I burst out laughing, I couldn't stand it. The irony was too comical.
If you only knew, you sassy redhead.
“No, but my prosthesis doesn't like climbing very much.”
She poked her head out, a huge bundle of curls making a cloud in the light coming through the hole and I simply stretched out my leg, pointing at her with both hands open. I could make out her curious eyes even though she was backlit.
I sighed, squeezing the branch tighter and resigned myself to a very difficult climb. After a humiliating amount of near-slips, I made it a little more than halfway up until I heard and felt movement above.
A scream, and then something lunged at her. Grunts, curses.
My whole body tensed and I scrambled up incredibly fast, ready for whatever was attacking her on the surface. Several pieces of the old wall popping out on the way up.
I leapt up instead of taking the last step and was met with the last thing I expected to see. I let out a huge gulp of air; Toothless was on top of her, running his tongue over her face and swatting at her as she laughed and squealed.
“I want to believe that this,” she was interrupted by another lick and I moved closer, “is the dragon you were talking about.”
“That's enough, Toothless, leave her alone.”
He didn't listen to me and this time he stuck his head as far as he could into the curve of the redhead's neck, making a loud noise as he inhaled. Why does he smell her? He's acting like when he finds something he's been looking for with effort.
“Toothless!” I made sure to sound sterner and his ears perked up, moving away from her completely.
I looked away as, still laughing, she wiped her dress all over the places where he had drooled on her. I took the opportunity to pounce on my dragon in an attempt to tackle him.
“Where were you, huh?” he dropped to the floor, with me on him “you think you can walk around by yourself? you're nothing but a whimsical” I scratched him in that place he likes on his neck “dragon baby!”
He looked even offended and I saw in his look that he was telling me “A twenty-one year old baby dragon” and I rolled my eyes.
“Yes, I'm twenty-one too but I'm not an immature—”
“Twenty-one?” I stopped scratching him, confused that I actually heard an answer and turned around, I had forgotten about her for a second. “I didn't think you were older than me.”
“Older?”
She nodded and I got off Toothless. “By how much?”
“Three years, almost two.”
I took my hands behind my back and walked around her, unable to keep from smiling. “So, I know you have siblings and you had a problem with them, their oatmeal and it's a long story. You're eighteen and about to turn nineteen, you seem to be half crazy considering you were chased by three bears and you were incredibly calm, but I still don't know your name.”
She almost laughs. “You wear weird armor, you have a dragon that's the last of its kind and I'm pretty sure you're a Viking despite not really looking like one. You're also kind of crazy for coming to explore these lands and, from what I saw, your prosthetic and "Toothless’" chair” She made the quotation marks “have similar mechanisms. I take the liberty of assuming you're either an inventor or know a thing or two.”
By Odin's beard.
After that we spent our time trying to guess each other's names as we walked around a bit. Merida, her name is Merida.
... I didn't guess it.
And I knew, it was literally impossible for her to guess mine, so I told her after a few failed attempts. She laughed so hard I thought she might die; it got worse when I said my middle name was Horrendous, and then said my full name, which almost killed her.

I'm snickering
What if they all had both readers?? Human and harpy
Let's start with Eclipse and Glitch if hummingbirb hasn't been nommed by glitch but keeper has the hummingbirb will tattle causing Eclipse to chase down and smack Glitch till he spits keeper up, if Glitchdrop nommed hummingbirb first then there's nothing stoping him from nomming keeper too.
Eclipse just let's both know he's going to nom them before he noms.
With Moon and Sun they'll be some angst based drama, keeper reader was there first, Moon likes alot keeper reader but does still get a crush on hummingbirb, but gets it across to reader that he needs help flirting with the hummingbirb so reader helps him. Then things go south.
Now onto Sun, in the original it's never said but since Moon like reader so much he thought Moon was taking it very slow courting keeper reader, now with Moon obviously not liking keeper like that and giving way more attention to hummingbirb which Sun notices make reader a bit sad because it seems like Moon's starting to ignore them but by bit, Sun has an opening because Sun does like keeper reader like that. Sun showers the keeper in attention giving them the affection that Moon doesn't because anymore Moon is much too busy with his hummingbirb.
Moon's eventually going to notice keeper isn't really coming to his side anymore, wonder why his stupid human isn't showing up like they usually do. They're not showing up at all. Worried his stupid human is gone but is still paying lots of attention to hummingbirb since his success with flirting.
He can't really find them, sure the live prey is still being released on schedule but when he looks for reader to nom them after he can't find them. Eventually takes a little time to go see Sun to ask if Sun has seen keeper. Now Sun is actually quite a bit upset because Moon had been giving keeper less and less attention till he outright ignored them making keeper extremely sad, making keeper feel like they lost their friend because he doesn't like them anymore, made them think he didn't care at all and was just using them for entertainment, now after month of ignoring keeper now Moon cares.
Sun absolutely looses his shit, Moon has never seen the cockatoo harpy ever get mad before, never heard him curse before. An angry Sun actually terrifies Moon, he's extremely loud about it too. The keeper's now seeing the Sun becoming extremely aggressive towards Moon and how Moon no longer paid any attention to keeper reader, in order to avoid disaster, transfer both Sun and keeper to Glitch and Eclipse's enclosure. Assign a completely new keeper to Moon's enclosure.
The first thing Eclipse and Glitch see when the transfer is done is a very upset cockatoo harpy cuddling their new keeper and straight up glaring daggers at them silently, his feathers all puffed up. and this small bird is actually kinda terrifying Glitch so much that he kinda just flies of because cockatoo might be the type of crazy Glitch doesn't want to mess with, while Eclipse is curious.
He just stares at the both of them silently, till he askd "you both seen upset, do you need a hug?" And the cockatoo shifts from looking like he's full of rage to just sad as his feathers go down. Yep, definitely needs a hug. So Eclipse without even waiting for a response sits down and wraps his wings around them both.
Meanwhile Moon is thinking over everything that Sun said in his anger, hummingbirb said he needs to apologize, he shouldn't have ignored his friend just to spend his time trying to charm them, he need to apologize to his brother too. So Moon goes looking for keeper and Sun, he can't find them anywhere, finds out they've been transferred to another enclosure, Sun for becoming agressive towards Moon and keeper because only Sun had been listening and paying attention to keeper for the months Moon had started ignoring them without realizing it. It's too late. Two of the people he loved are gone because he made a mistake, seeks comfort from hummingbirb. hummingbirb gives it.
Back with Eclipse, Eclipse has learned about why Sun and keeper are here now, hmmms, goes off to tell Glitch what's going on, Glitch is like oh damn, best not try to piss off the cockatoo by messing with the cockatoo's keeper or the cockatoo himself too much. He'll need to figure out when he's going too far.
Eclipse heads back, sees Sun nomming keeper, knows Sun seems to really like the human asks, "you two doing crop cuddles?" That is not a term Sun has heard before, Eclipse clarifies, "crop cuddles, nomming to keep someone in your crop for a while as a form of cuddling inside yourself instead of tucking them under your wing" Sun goes "oh, then yes we're doing crop cuddles" Eclipse looks thoughtful, the cockatoo would fit in his crop no problem, cockatoo is cuddling the human that way but looks like he needs to be crop cuddled too. "I'm going to nom you. You have no say in this." Sun is startled "wha?" "I said I'm going to nom you, you have no say in this, you need to be cuddled too."
Then Eclipse noms him. Sun's confused because nommed him so fast he didn't really have time to react. Eclipse flys over to and settles in his nest, crop cuddling his new flock members who look like they really needed it. Eclipse has a pretty obvious bulge in his gut, Glitch can see it but he also knows the way Eclipse acts, so immediately knows what happened, forced cuddling plus the cockatoo and human are now flock members and he's have to get used to that. Cockatoo had a terrifying glare, he'll have to be careful interacting.
Once Glitch knows their boundaries he'll go back to being full gremlin, nomming both Sun and reader alot but with less bullying. It's unlikely the two will ever be transferred back to the enclosure Moon is in. So Moon is just, surprisingly subdued. It's because he know how badly he fuck up now. Hummingbirb is all he has left now besides chica who he doesn't interact with often.

M3 with mc who is basically the modern Bob Ross. They are so talented and so wholesome like him
Since they arrived in Astraea they've been doing nothing but drawing every single thing they saw (a small flower on the side of road, a bird nest on a nearby tree , a butterfly landed on their finger...etc)
But recently they've been staring a lot at their Lis while they are drawing with this dreamy look on their face
So one day M3 are looking for mc in their room to find their sketch book on their bed and ofc they are curious about what's inside to find very detailed sketches of them of moments they've been with mc
Mc enters the room to find Lis shocked with their sketch book in their hands
Mc just simply chuckles and then they say " I wanted to capture my favorite moment with you but then I realized that I can't pick one because every moment I've spent with you is my favorite" with the brightest smile on their face
Oooh this is a cute one!
GN!Reader, fluff
Felix Escellun
Okay so let me start out by saying that The Goth With A Sunshine Partner is one of my favorite ship dynamics
Anyways!!
I think Felix actually does some sketching himself in his study notes and field journals. He's not the best at it but he can get by.
I think he appreciates your sunny disposition, even when he doesn't express it quite as enthusiastically.
I think his cynicism is a really nice counter to your wholesome disposition
You're late for your magic lesson so Felix decides to go find you. He goes to your door and knock-knock-knocks. You don't answer. So,, he walks inside, prepared to give you a lecture on overdoing your naps (right before crawling into bed with you to snooze). You still aren't there but you know what is?? Your sketchbook. The one you never let him see.
... Let's be real. It's Felix. He's a nosy little shit (affectionate) and when he Wants Answers, He Gets Them. So he opens your book.
The first two dozen or so pages are of Mournfall, Porrima, Blackthorn Hall, etc. The places you guys have been to. But then,, he turns the next page,, and is met with a cute portrait of Felix taking up the whole damn page
He flips through the pages. Takes a seat at your desk, slowly going in circles on the chair. It's pages and pages of him, with his shaggy hair and the button nose and the pout. Some of the sketches are cartoonish and sweet and silly, others are more realistic and detailed (gods the way you make his eyes shine with just some lead and charcoal smudges), and still others are stylized. In some of them he's reading, some of them he's casting spells, some of them he's playing with Stella, some of them he's sleeping and snoring, some of them he's just,, smiling.
You walk into the room ten minutes later to see Felix still spinning in your desk chair, studying each picture intently. He doesn't seem to hear you walking over so you just,,, creep up behind him and catch the chair mid-spin. He yelps and tries to hop to his feet but he's dizzy from swirling around the proverbial drain and you have to catch him to keep him from face planting.
Once you help him sit down on the bed, he shows you the page he's on. His cheeks are flushed and the tops of his ears are red and he's shrinking into his shirt a little.
You hug him tight and smooch the top of his head and tell him that he's just too cute not to sketch. And you draw when you're happy, and you're always happy with him :3
Felix makes a tiny little strangled noise and hides his face in your shoulder because whyyyy do you have to be so impossibly adorable??
Anisa Anka
Your affection and love is the absolute best at cheering her up when she's had a hard day at work
Anisa Cannot Draw to save her life. Sorry. Maybe she can do stick figures.
Tonight you're out with Saaros at a new cafe that just opened up. Anisa is supposed to meet you there after work. As she's changing out of her armor and back into the usual, she notices a familiar book on the bed.
Huh. You normally never let your sketchbook out of your sight. You must have forgotten it when you were getting ready to go out. Anisa picks it up, holding it against her chest to make sure she doesn't misplace it.
... Y'know she has a few minutes before she's gotta run... maybe she can... just... take a little peek...
Two minutes later she's sitting cross-legged on the floor (her armor is on the bed) flipping through the pages. Sketches of the forest you guys camped through, the castle, the Sunstone emblem, flowers and trees and stalls from the marketplace. And Anisa.
Lots and lots of Anisa.
Soft Annie, warm Annie, little ball of fur, happy Annie, sleepy Annie, purr purr purr
No but seriously there’s sketches of Anisa looking soft and vulnerable and happy, bundled up in blankets, with cat ears and a tail, all excited and laughing, sleeping and cuddling a teddy bear, and just all around... looking lovely. And with each little picture there’s a little blurb of words - poetry or song lyrics, she can’t tell.
Anisa doesn’t even know she’s crying until the tears hit the page.
With a new spring in her step she hops up to her feet, adjusts her bow in her air, and shoots out the door. Then has to come back to actually close it and lock up. Then has to come back again to grab the sketchbook. Then has to come back again to put on her other boot.
She’s such a nerd god I love her
When she finally catches up with you and Saaros, you’re sketching on a napkin. Once you pick up the pencil to move to a different section she tackles you from behind, throwing her arms around your chest and squeezing you fiercely.
You laugh a little, surprised at the suddenness of her sneak attack. She finally returns your book while nuzzling her face into the crook of your neck.
Saaros rolls their eyes and points out that such an embarrassing display of affection would absolutely get you thrown out of Rivath. But you and Annie are too busy cuddling to bother with a response.
Once you’ve both calmed down a bit, you finally get her to sit down and have some dinner while you show her your newest doodle on the napkin.
Sage Lesath
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; I Headcanon That Sage Is A Cat And Therefore Goes Into Your Room A Lot Because It Smells Like You And It Calms Him Down
He thinks you’re absolutely adorable when you’re all cheerful and upbeat and trying to keep everyone positive. Especially when he tries to flirt his way out of talking about his insecurities and you really softly hold his hands and kiss his forehead and assure him that it’s okay if he doesn’t want to talk but you’ll be here regardless
Smother This Man In Affection Damnit!!!!!!!
Anyways
It’s been a rough day for him. Felix and Anisa had dragged you to some Magic Museum earlier so Sage hasn’t gotten to see you at all. Much as he doesn’t want to admit it to himself, he misses you something fierce.
So he’d gone to the tavern to get his mind off things. Had a little ale and a greasy sandwich and played some darts. Got hit on, turned them down, and nearly got into a fight over it. Not to sound narcissistic but Sage knows he looks good, and normally he’s pretty proud of it. But not on nights like tonight. In these times all he wants to do is burrow under the covers and never let anyone face him again.
He’s sulking. Normally you talk him out of it but tonight he’s free to mope as much as he wants. So he trudges into your room and flops down face-first onto the bed, burying his face in the pillows. Maybe he can just sleep until you get back. Everything seems a lot brighter, a lot less difficult to deal with when you’re there.
He might be able to fall asleep if there wasn’t this uncomfortable lump under his stomach. He tries to ignore it at first but it isn’t happening so he finally shifts to the side enough to wrench the damn thing out from under him. Oh. It’s your sketchbook. A soft grin comes to his face as he rolls onto his side. He wedges your pillow between his shoulder and his cheek and opens up the book. You’re always so busy with your sketches and your doodles but you never let him see what you’re doing.
The first drawing is of the view he showed you back in Mournfall, of the town and the lake at night. He remembers that jaunt up the bookcase corridor, the little room, the way your eyes glowed when you looked out at the view.
gods he’s so in love with you
There’s some of the ships in the port, the marketplace, the forge, the beach
And Sage. Lots and lots of Sage. And in lots and lots of them he look,, happy. Genuinely, innocently happy, laughing or smiling or staring off into the distance or talking with the others. Most of them have little hearts around them. It puts something warm and tingly in his chest when he sees himself the way you see him.
It’s a good half hour later when you get back to your room. Sage is rolled into a burrito with your blanket, still studying the pictures. His ears twitch when you come in but he doesn’t look up. You kick off your shoes and pull off your jacket and outer clothes, changing into pajamas. Normally Sage likes to flirt with you, but this time he doesn’t even seem to notice. Once you’re all comfy you crawl into bed beside him, tugging on the blankets enough to squeeze in beside him.
Once you’re in he wraps an arm around you, squeezing you fiercely. He nuzzles the crook of your neck and winds his tail around your leg. Initially you expect him to be as horny as usual - offering up himself as a nude model or something - but he just purrs and kisses your shoulder.
Poor kitty cat must have had a bad day. You kiss the top of his head. He asks - softly, so soft you hardly even hear him - why it is you’re drawing him so much. You smile and say you always draw what makes you happy.
He doesn’t say anything. But you swear you feel tears on your shoulder.

*pops in for a hug* Billy gets drunk on Long Island iced tea (literally 4-6 different types of alcohol with multiple shots of each but it doesn’t even taste like it) and Steve has a super clingy drunk boyfriend.
Heyyy *hugs back*. ♥ You sent this to me a while ago, but I have been busy with other stuff aaaaand my attention span is super short as usual, sooo~ I hope you like this! 🍹
Tumblr media
Billy Hargrove isn't usually the cocktail kind of guy.
Give him beer, whiskey - something manly.
Anything with a kick.
Cause cocktails are lame and only meant for chicks, right?
But over the course of few months that he and Steve have been going out, somehow the rich boy had slowly succeeded in corrupting Billy. As in making him acquire a taste for sweet drinks, too.
Perhaps once or twice, Billy has admitted aloud that sweet drinks aren't so bad after all. And that beer tastes like piss sometimes. Or that whiskey makes him gag just a little bit. That maybe he used to drink those things because all the cool guys did.
But tonight, he wants to try something completely different new and picks Long Island Iced Tea from the list.
It's a mixed alcoholic drink that even Steve hasn't tried before. Curiously the brunet takes a sip from Billy's drink, then proceeds to give a small nod and an appreciative hum, followed by a sweet smile. Then goes back to sipping his Blue Lagoon.
It's been a while since they'd last went to a bar like this (or well, any bar for that matter) and so it doesn't take long for Billy to decide what his new favorite alcoholic drink is. He gulps it down greedily while Steve's still halfway through finishing his own, and then orders another. And another.
After some time Steve's caring, nurturing nature takes place and he tells Billy to slow down. "Slow down, tiger. We've got all night." Albeit he's not very good at it because a) Billy's not known to listen let alone slow down and b) Steve's having a hard time to keep himself from grinning at his dorky, drunken boyfriend and his silly antics.
Even more when Billy suddenly sits on his lap while he's singing karaoke slightly out of tune. Or when he plasters himself hotly against Steve's back and hugs him from behind, like a human furnace, slurring sweet nothings in his ear.
And while Steve knows better than anyone that they should act more careful around here - it's a small town, people are gonna talk yadda yadda -, he can't help but keep smiling and grinning at Billy anyway.
He's having fun and Billy's having fun. Why should fun not be allowed?
Especially Billy who's usually ranting about keeping up the appearances; always going on about how they need to watch themselves and under no circumstances hold hands in public places or any of that queer shit.
And now Billy's the one breaking his number one (1) rule and doesn't even seem the least bit bothered by it.
Steve might've snorted just a little bit when Billy had flipped the bird at this older guy who kept staring at them with a disgusted look. Or when this one nice-looking blonde with a generous cleavage suddenly approaches Billy - which, Steve isn't going to lie, annoyed him. And then all Billy does is compliment her tits in her face and casually flings his arm around Steve's shoulders, planting a big wet one on his cheek. Then looks at the girl with an arched eyebrow, like he's asking 'well?', making the girl just grimace and mutter something under her breath as she leaves their table.
But then finally comes the time when Billy's becoming a bit too drunk and a bit too clingy for his own good (not that Steve really minds it, oh no), but for the curious eyes around them who are already eyeing at them suspiciously. It's like they're staring and asking 'they fags or what'.
So Steve clears his throat and pushes his empty glass forwards, getting up. He drapes his arm around his drunk boyfriend's shoulders and pulls him close, tells him they're leaving. The blonde whines in protest but is unable to resist a warm body pressed up against him - especially when it's Steve's body pressed up against him - so Billy finally nods and slides his arm around Steve's waist, leaning heavily against him as they walk. Whilst talking and slurring silly nonsense close to the other man's ear.
It makes Steve chuckle and he gives the bartender a slight wave of goodbye before they step outside and start walking towards his car. Billy is heavy and not very cooperative as Steve helps him in his car and buckles his seatbelt for him. Once he's inside and behind the wheel, he makes sure to lock the doors too, in case Billy gets any stupid ideas (he gets them often). Poor guy is so out of it, keeps moaning and whining that he doesn't want to go home yet, he's fine.
"Ssseriously Harrington... I'm... I'm not even drrrrunk..."
"Sure." Steve shakes his head and opens the glove compartment, fishing out the cassette that Billy always wants to listen to while they're driving. Trying to keep his dear drunken boyfriend distracted, who soon starts banging his head to the music and playing the air drummer. Or something like that.
Ten minutes later they have arrived at their destination, and Billy doesn't feel so good. The blond man half-runs into the nearest bushes and throws up. Once he's finished, he wipes his mouth on the sleeve of his jacket and can barely keep upright, so Steve catches him and helps him upstairs in his room.
He sits Billy on the bed and crouches in front of him, trying to strip him from those ridiculously tight jeans of his (again, Steve doesn't really mind cause Billy has a great ass).
"Awww H-Harrington... shoulda told me you wanted me n-naked... all you had to was just... ask.. let me-- lemme..."
And Billy really tries to shift and help Steve get those jeans off but ends up almost kicking Steve in the face. His tight bright tank top flies across the room while Steve folds Billy's jeans on the nearest chair. A minute or so later, Steve's also undressed and follows Billy into bed.
He's barely managed to shift into a comfortable position when Billy's strong toned arm is already hauling him closer, pulling him tight against the body that Steve loves to call furnace. And right now, the heat of their bodies combined is almost suffocating him but one of Billy's thick thighs is wrapping around his hips too, keeping him in place.
The drunken blonde instantly buries his face in the crook of Steve's neck, mumbling something incoherent against the soft sensitive skin. Something that Steve cannot quite catch but he doesn't think it's important either.
His long fingers find Billy's hair, buried deep in his curls and carefully massaging his scalp - something that always seems to calm Billy down. His lips pressed against Billy's forehead, closing his eyes.
"I love you."
It isn't the first time Steve's heard it coming from Billy's mouth.
Although he doesn't hear it often because Billy doesn't want to wear it out or it loses its meaning, or something like that.
And he only might say it right now because he's drunk off his ass, but.
Steve can't help it. That he feels his heart swell just a little bit. His chest constricting with deep emotions. There might be tears prickling in the corners of his eyes, too. Tears of joy, because he's happy.
It's been an eventful night. Lots of fun. With Billy being more affectionate and careless than usual.
Even though it's risky - here, in Hawkins.
Steve doesn't even mind right now that Billy hurled in the bushes not too long ago. That he smells like alcohol, cigarettes and sweat. That he's drunk like a skunk, like he's showered in a barrel of alcohol.
He just wants - needs - to hear it.
Wants to feel his touch, his closeness, the heat of his body.
Even if he already feels hot and almost uncomfortable there.
But Billy's there. He's real. And this is happening right now.
Steve bites back his tears and forces a small smile instead. Because his tears are from joy - not sadness -, and he gently rubs his fingertips against Billy's scalp. Pressing another loving kiss on his forehead.
"I love you too, dork. Get some sleep now."
Billy lets out the cutest, softest huff against Steve's neck before he slowly drifts into sleep. He isn't a snorer, thankfully, because Steve is a light sleeper. He slips his hand down from Billy's hair and wraps it loosely around his back, until he falls asleep too.
Next day Billy is a little bit pale in the face, with a messy hair and a blanket wrapped around his body to keep himself warm. But against Steve's expectations, Billy isn't staying in his bed all day, feeling sick and acting like a stung little bitch.
Billy actually takes a seat next to him on the couch and casually just drapes himself over Steve's crossed legs. Resting his messy head of hair on his lap.
They watch whatever dumb sitcom is coming on TV, and Steve's fingers are finding and petting Billy's hair again. He's not really paying attention to the show on TV; his mind too occupied and obsessed with Billy's presence.
That Billy still hasn't left and they're actually cuddling on his couch.
They might have been a thing for months now, but Billy usually really isn't this cuddly, carebear type of guy (or so he pretends), especially not after a night of drinking. Which is understandable.
But he usually isn't this cuddly even after a night of fucking, so.
Steve doesn't know what to think of it. Doesn't know if there's anything to think about. That maybe he should just focus on the moment and not worry too much because this probably just happened in the heat of the moment - because Billy's like that - and it's likely it won't happen again anytime soon. So he should just, relish in it or something. As long as he can.
Then Billy's breaking the silence. "Steve?"
Steve hums as response, distracted from his trance and looks down. He finds Billy's eyes are looking back up at him - curiously, searching. He's so beautiful. His eyes look tired and a little red, but so beautiful. Framed by long dark lashes. Freckles on his cheeks. Pink lips that look so kissable. And he looks so calm and content right there, resting on his lap. Steve's heart starts pounding a little bit faster again, his chest once again constricting with deep emotions.
He's hopelessly in love. And so screwed, he could cry.
Billy then takes a deep breath and wets his lips.
"Can I stay here for another night?"

Groceries (Might Guy x Reader)
MASTERLIST
Pairing: Might Guy x Reader
Word Count: 2723
Warnings: very minor angst, food mentions (TW for EDs)
A/N: Hope you enjoy! I've been so thirsty for Naruto characters recently it's not even funny
Also, this was originally two parts but I've combined them into one so let me know if the transition doesn't work!
Tumblr media
Growing up in Konoha you always felt safe. You knew there were experienced shinobi there to protect you. As a little girl, you would see them walk down the streets and watch in awe as they passed by you.
Despite everything you had seen in terms of violence, you still felt safe in the Leaf Village. There had been some tense battles, but the leaf shinobi always prevailed.
It was a day more peaceful than most as you made your way down to the store. You only needed a few things, but with the nice weather you decided to take advantage of the day instead of waiting for the grocery list to get longer.
Smiling, you walked into the store to the tune of children laughing and birds chirping. It was like you were in a movie.
You made your way down the aisles, picking up the items you needed as you went. Milk, eggs, noodles, and more went into the small cart in your hands as you browsed. Lost in your own world, you didn't see the other cart as it came around the corner at the same time as your own.
The carts crashed into each other, you and the other person with them. It almost winded you, both from surprise and the force of falling into the cart.
"I am so sorry!" You explained, looking up to the man you found in front of you. Luckily, neither of your groceries seemed to have sustained much damage. You found yourself surprised to be met with the most gorgeous dark eyes you had ever seen.
"It's no problem!" Said the man, flashing you a confident smile with a thumbs up. "No damage done."
You felt a hot flush rise to your face, but thankfully the man didn't seem to notice.
"Thank you," you said in a fluster. You weren't sure what you were even thanking him for, not yelling at you? It was then that you took notice of his outfit, especially the band around his waist. "Are you a shinobi?"
The smile stayed ever-present on his face.
"Yes I am! A jonin of the Hidden Leaf Village!"
If you had just half the enthusiasm of this man, you think you would be running on empty in less than five minutes. Hearing he was a jonin, you were impressed.
"Well, thank you for all that you do," you offered, moving to continue your shopping.
Although your interaction was brief, you couldn't stop thinking about it as days passed. Something about his eyes, and his confidence, drew you into him. You tried to brush it off, seeing as it was such a simple interaction, but it was impossible. Even trying to tell yourself that he didn't remember you wouldn't work; there was still a part of your brain that would never quiet down.
You had never minded being a civilian in Konoha. Sure, when you were younger you had thought about being a konoichi, but those were just the thoughts of a child. You never pursued it. You were happy with your career, teaching young children in subjects other than jutsu.
Despite your happiness, you began to wish that you had gone to the academy. Then you would have been able to find the man who was plaguing your thoughts. Even after that, you might have been a real option for him. You knew shinobi tended to mostly be interested in other shinobi.
You didn't know why it upset you so much. You didn't even know the man's name, and yet you were sad that you might not be his type. Feeling a bit pathetic, you found yourself in need of another grocery run. Trying to ignore the thought that you might see him again, you made your way to the store.
Sadly, at least for that persistent, gremlin part of your brain, the trip was rather uneventful. At least, until you found yourself in front of the produce.
You were trying to eat healthier, but it was hard. It wasn't that you didn't like your body, you just wanted to feel better in your own skin. As you stood there pondering, a male voice scared you from your thoughts.
"Excuse me."
You turned, disappointed to see a man with silver spikes instead of the dark bowl cut you had hoped for. You mumbled a sorry, stepping out of his way.
"Careful Kakashi," boomed another voice, "I'd keep your distance from that woman's cart if I were you."
Now that is the voice you had been hoping for.
As you turned, the tall man immediately caught your eye. You blushed at his words, remembering your initial encounter. The other man, Kakashi, looked at you with confusion. He grabbed what he needed before walking away, leaving you and the other man alone.
"So what brings you back here?" He asked. Normally you would have thought of this as awkward conversation, but your heart leapt at the opportunity to talk to him again.
You sighed, "I'm trying to decide what I want. I wanted something healthy but I didn't want to just start grabbing vegetables."
"Then you're in luck," he grinned, "I'm somewhat of an expert. Try some blueberries, they're a superfood." He grabbed a package, placing them in his own cart. "They're on me today."
You tried to protest, but he wasn't having any of it. You made your way through checkout, paying the rest of your items before meeting back up with the man.
"Thank you," you told him, looking back up at his deep eyes. Pausing for a moment, you realized something. "I don't even know your name! How could I thank you for buying these before me without even learning your name?"
The man chuckled, extending his hand out to you.
"The name's Guy," he said loudly, shaking your hand. "Would it be crazy to ask for your name in return?"
You blushed as you grabbed his hand, his grip firm yet his hands soft.
"Y/n," you told him. He smiled.
"That's a beautiful name." His words did nothing to help calm the blush on your face. You were sure he knew exactly what he was doing to you based on the color of your cheeks alone. Suddenly Guy grew rather sheepish. "I know how this is going to sound, but would you want to come by my place sometime?"
Your eyes widened. After all this time wondering what this man was really like, he was just the type to invite you into bed with him immediately? Admittedly part of you was curious, but you weren't stupid.
"Excuse me?"
Now it was his turn to blush.
"Well I know how that sounds," Guy said quickly, trying to get his words out faster than he could think. "But I just meant to make you dinner. I could show you how to cook some vegetables so that they aren't all that bad."
Immediately you felt bad for assuming the worst, offering him a small smile.
"I would like that."
He smiled back at you. Guy gave you his address as the two of you decided on a time before parting ways. You couldn't help the giddy grin that covered your face as you walked home. Your date couldn't come fast enough.
---
In the days leading up to your date with Guy, it was all you could think about. You told yourself that was fine, since you were obsessing over him already. At least now you had a reason to.
The day was finally here, and as the hours ticked away you found yourself growing more nervous. Deciding what to wear was a challenge in itself. Did you want to try to dress up nicer, or would that be too much? Yet at the same time you worried dressing too casual would give him the idea that you weren't as interested as you were.
You tried on just about everything you owned, settling for a dress that made you feel pretty. It was fancy enough to make you feel like you were trying, but still casual enough that you would be comfortable.
You looked at the clock, seeing that you still had ample time before you needed to leave. Sitting down, your mind wandered. What would tonight be like?
in your mind you ran through a myriad of scenarios. If you didn't like the food he cooked, you would have to just stomach it and hope for the best. Based on what he told you at the store though, it seemed like he would know what he was doing. Still, you worried that something would go wrong.
Above all, there was a bigger question ringing out in your mind. Would he try to kiss you? And, would you want him to?
The seconds turned to minutes as you pondered, the minutes turning into hours until it was time to go. You collected your things, making sure to grab any and all essentials before you left. You had already told your friends who you would be with, going as far as to give them the address should anything go wrong. Guy seemed like such a nice guy, but you could never be too careful.
Locking the door to your apartment behind you, you set off. It was early in the evening, and the sun was just beginning to set in the sky. You were thankful you wouldn't have to walk in the dark. You knew there were plenty of shinobi around, hell, you were even meeting one right now. But even then you felt uncomfortable walking home alone at night, surrounded by darkness.
It was a shorter walk than you anticipated, and before you knew it you were at his place. Taking a deep breath, you reached up to knock on his door. It seemed like a nice enough part of town, and his place itself was well-kept especially considering how much time you were sure he spent on training.
You heard Guy's loud steps make their way to the doorway, pausing on the other side before the door swung open. His usual confident smile was on his face, but instead of moving his mouth into words he just looked at you. You felt yourself growing red under his gaze.
"Hello Guy," you said softly, looking up at him.
-
Guy had been making the same amount of preparations as you, if not even more. He planned the meal out carefully, even practicing it the night before to make sure it went well. He had spent more time than usual perfecting his hair, making sure not a single strand would be out of place. He had even thought of exactly what he wanted to say when he opened the door.
Hello Y/n, he would say as he smiled at you. You look more beautiful every time I see you.
Sure, it was more forward than he had been with you before. This was a date after all, and he wanted to make how he felt about you clear from the start.
That plan went right out the window when he saw you, your sundress captivating him. It looked so cute on you, and at the same time there was something about it that sent a wave of tingles between his legs. To put it simply, he was speechless.
He knew he should say something but he couldn't, enraptured by the way you looked in his doorway.
"Hello Guy," you said to him. That sweet voice of yours would drive him crazy someday, and he knew that. He loved hearing his name fall from your lips, hoping it would be far from the last time. Everything about you made him fall for you more.
Despite his thoughts about your voice, your words were enough to stir him to action himself.
"Hey," he said.
Really Guy? He thought to himself. You're the Blue Beast, a strong shinobi. And yet all you can say to a woman is 'hey'?
You giggled at him, and he felt a smile creep onto his face.
"It's good to see you again," he continued. He decided to dial back the forwardness, realizing he had already kept you waiting outside for too long in his daze. "Come on in."
-
You followed Guy into his home, taking in the delicious aroma filling the rooms.
"I don't know what you're making," you stated, "but it smells amazing."
Guy beamed with pride, ushering you over to the kitchen.
"It's my favorite." He told you. "A spicy, vegetable curry."
Thankfully, you didn't mind spicy. In fact, you enjoyed it. Your mouth watered, taking in the sight and smell of the food in front of you.
"Actually, it should be just about done." Said Guy, stirring it all for a final time before putting it onto beautiful dishes to serve.
He had already set the table, candles and all. He pulled the chair out for you, pushing you back in as if you weighed nothing. He sat across from you, and the way he smiled at you made you weak in the knees. It's a good thing you had already sat down.
You wasted no time, digging in. And it was delicious.
"Oh my god Guy," you said in near disbelief at how good it was. You could see his expression perk up. "This is amazing!"
"I'm glad you like it," he chuckles, eating his own.
The rest of the meal went off without a hitch. You talked about your job and his, bonding over your love for your respective students.
"Maybe sometime I can come watch one of your training sessions," you mentioned. "I would love to see you teach them."
Guy smiled, "I would love that." The sincerity in his tone took you by surprise. While you knew he was never joking with you, there was always some sort of bravado to his speech that now was missing.
You helped him clean up despite his protests. You told him that if he cooked, you would at least clean up. It was only fair, after all. You scrubbed the dishes, oblivious to the way Guy was looking at you.
He never would have admitted it to anyone but himself, but he was falling in love with you. He had no problem picturing a life with you. Coming up to you at the end of the day, sharing a meal together. He wanted everything that life would bring him.
"Well," you said, finishing up, "I should probably get going."
"Let me walk you," insisted Guy. "A lady such as yourself should never walk alone at night."
He offered his arm to you, and you accepted it with a shy smile. You could feel his prominent muscles under the fabric of his outfit, and you could feel your face growing warmer. You were thankful for the darkness for obscuring your face from him, hoping he couldn't tell.
He could tell.
As the two of you made your way back towards your own apartment he would flex his muscles every so often, loving the way your face would flush. A couple of times he timed it right so that you were speaking, making you stutter.
The walk ended much earlier than either of you would have liked it to. Suddenly your heart started racing. You could answer your questions from earlier clearly.
Would he try to kiss you?
You sure hoped so.
Would you want him to?
Definitely.
You paused in your doorway, letting go of Guy's arm. You looked up at him, flashing him a genuine smile.
"I had fun tonight."
He reciprocated your own expression with a smile of his own, "me too."
You both paused for what seemed like the longest second in the world. It was as if he was building up the courage to actually go through with what he wanted to. He cleared his throat.
"Y/n, may I kiss you?"
You nodded your head and he lowered his lips to yours slowly. As you pressed your own lips to his you couldn't help the gasp that escaped them.
That's a sound I'll keep replaying... thought Guy.
He pulled away sooner than you would have liked, but he was a gentleman.
"I'll see you soon." Guy ended his sentence with a wink, sauntering off as you went to go inside.
"I can't wait."

The Cullens are curious, about him, because Edward can't read his mind because of his Spider-Sense, and Alice can't see his future. your senses were in overdrive as you entered the small cafeteria. not just because you were now surrounded by hundreds of chatty teenagers, but because they were there.
the cullens has been on your radar for quite a long time. having fought vampires before, it was your nature to inspect them before they became a threat.
you had known that the cullen’s were a ‘special’ breed of vampires, choosing to only feed on animals than humans.
it was nobel act but still, you had to be cautious.
you took a seat at an empty table and gently set your lunch down. after months of attending forks high school, you still hadn’t made very many friends. instead, you preferred the silence of being alone.
you took a bite out of your sandwich and just as you did, you smelled them.
looking up, you saw the five unnatural creatures walking into the cafeteria like they owned the place. the blonde, rosalie, was scowling at all the people that gawked at her. the burly brunette, emmett, had an arm around her protectivly. jasper, the one you knew had the most trouble controlling himself, was being reassured by his mate alice. and edward...well...he looked the most normal as he wore an expression that was downright miserable.
you noticed them the second they entered the cafeteria. your senses tingled, warning you of danger. but they didn’t seem to notice you though, at least not yet. it would be a couple seconds before edward realized that he couldn’t read your mind, and that your blood was calling out to them in a way different than everybody else’s.
you slumped back into your seat as the curious vampires turned to you. with your hearing, you knew that they were talking about you.
“do you guys smell that?” emmett asked his siblings, nodding his head in your general direction so fast you almost missed it.
“it’s coming him,” edward hissed, motioning towards you. “i can’t read his mind.”
“and i can’t see his future, either,” alice said worriedly.
“do you suppose he’s something supernatural, too?” jasper asked.
“not likely. just a really rare human,” rosalie said.
you almost smirked. oh, if only they knew.
shaking your head, you leaned back into your seat. you had biology with edward and jasper next. you’d learn more about them there, but for now, you enjoyed your lunch and let them speculate over who exactly you were.
Tumblr media
the classroom filled up quickly.
and you were late, no thanks to flash thompson, a boy that seemed to have it out for you ever since you arrived.
he had tripped you in the hallway, and because of this you weren’t able to get a good seat.
you were hoping to be somewhere near the cullens, but by the time you had arrived they had already stolen your table in the back.
you scowled as you had to sit in a middle row, next to a clumsy girl named bella. you hated that you were so exposed, but luckily bella was just as antisocial as you were.
she made no move to talk or even want to acknowledge your presence during the whole class. the only time she had to speak to you was during the lab you guys were working on, and it was because she asked for a bandaid.
“papercut,” she whispered, her cheeks turning red at your expression.
you looked horrified, but it wasn’t because of her.
it was because you currently had two vampires behind you, knowing that at least one of them could barley control themselves.
you froze up, your instincts kicking in just in case you needed to stop them.
but...you dared to take a peak back at the cullens.
you didn’t know what you expected — maybe them staring at bella with dark eyes with their fangs bared or something — but in reality, it was none of that.
both edward and jasper seemed to be in complete control, not even phased by the human girl’s blood. in fact, as far as you could see their eyes were still as gold as honey.
they weren’t even looking at bella.
but that was because they had their attention on someone else.
someone who’s scent seemed to cancel out everything else in the room.
you.
Tumblr media
the confrontation came shortly after school that day.
because you were an orphan and lived by yourself, you had the pleasure of walking yourself home.
only, that’s not quite what happened.
for some reason, you decided to walk through the forest that day and use your webs to swing around. it was honestly your favorite thing to do. there was nothing more liberating than swinging above the tallest trees, and saying hi to the birds that flew in the sky.
you had just made your way past a river and was pertched in a tree when you saw them.
or rather, your senses alerted you of their presence and a second later, they were there.
all seven cullens seemed to be gathered at the base of your tree. it shocked you, and you began wondering why in the hell they were there. you tried to hide but you knew it was no use, they could smell you.
“hello there! do you mind coming down? my family and i would like to talk to you,” carlisle, the leader of the group who you knew to be a doctor and had the most control, spoke.
his golden eyes held kindness and he held his hands up to show he wasn’t a threat. the others simply stared at you curiously.
“and how do i know you’re not being genuine?” you called back down to them, hanging onto the tree. “i’ve met your kind before. most if not all want to kill me.”
“we’re different,” a woman, esme, spoke up. “but i’m sure you already know that. because you’re different, too, right? you’re not human.”
“partially,” you found yourself correcting. “i had an...accident a few years ago. now i am what i am.”
“please, just come down. we can talk about this in a more comfortable setting,” carlisle said.
you found yourself hesitant for a moment. sure, their eyes were golden but they were still vampires, right?
but then again...if they wanted to kill you they wouldn’t have entertained you for that long. despite living forever, vampires had no patience when it came to a meal.
“...fine...,” you reluctantly agreed and got your webs ready, “i’m coming down.”
the forks breeze whipped at your face as you latched your webs onto a tree and swung down. the cullens looked absolutely amazed as you landed in front of them, unharmed.
“how did you do that?” emmett wasted no time in asking. he sounded beyond excited.
you almost smiled. “long story. i was bitten by a spider and now i have all the capabilities except i’m human,” you explained.
“fascinating,” edward whispered. “is that why i can’t read your mind?”
“or why i can’t see your future?” alice piped up.
“probably,” you merely shrugged. “but i can’t be for sure. i don’t really know much on vampires, except how to kill them.”
the family looked stunned at your revelation.
“why are you here?” rosalie asked cautiously, her body language changing to protect her family. “what do you want with us?”
“what i want with all vampires,” you told them. “i don’t wanna hurt you but i will if you hurt any humans.”
“jasper told us that you prevented that, though,” carlisle spoke up. “around your blood...he wasn’t even phased.”
“it was like everything else cancelled out,” jasper confessed. “this girl...she had a paper cut but it didn’t even bother me.”
“and it was because of him?” rosalie asked astonished.
you blushed slightly as they all turned to you.
“didn’t know i had that effect,” you muttered.
“would you be willing to talk more?” carlisle asked. “my family and i, we live not too far from here. perhaps we can talk more and see if maybe, you could help us.”
“help you? you mean like with your thirst?” you asked.
“precisely. if you can stop jasper...” edward shook his head. “i heard his thoughts. isabella is alive because of you. if we can find out more, then maybe...”
“maybe we could have a real shot at not thirsting for human blood anymore,” rosalie said.
Tumblr media
the meeting with cullens had been strange, to say the least. but it was also nothing short of fascinating.
it took you a while to open up, but after discovering that your blood was somewhat of an anchor to them you found yourself actually wanting to help the cullens.
they weren’t bad people. and if they all had a choice, they wouldn’t be what they were.
you knew jasper especially had regrets about being a vampire. he had a hard time controlling himself around humans after decades of drinking their blood.
but now, you had decided to come to an agreement with them.
if they helped you hunt rouge vampires that were feeding on humans, then you’d stick around and help them control their thirst.
that was precisely why, a week later, the whole cafeteria stared as you walked in with them side-by-side.
for once, jasper didn’t look tortured as he walked passed the array of humans. alice didn’t have to search the future constantly wondering if he’d hurt anybody.
rosalie and emmett were over the moon at the possibly that you could help them adopt a baby since their thirst was under control.
and edward...well...
he still looked miserable, but you supposed you couldn’t help everyone. besides, it wasn’t because he had to endure thoughts coming from a room full of teenagers.
it was because, for some reason, he still thirsted for isabella swan.
but that was a story for another day.

Drakes Keep
The townspeople live in fear of the dragon in the forest and have decided to make you the sacrifice to save them all. But perhaps the dragon isnt something to fear after all.
Tumblr media
This was how it ends. You thought to yourself as night descended. The only sound was the occasional breeze rustling the branches or the distant howl of a dog. You tried once again in vain to wriggle from the rope that kept you tied to the tree. Letting the back of your head hit the trunk with a thump, you bit your lip and finally allowed yourself to cry. This really was the end.
A dragons supper, that was your fate. The creature that called the abandoned castle home had returned, and the fear of what it could do had sent the townspeople into hysterics. Turning to the old ways once more to keep it appeased. Unfortunately for you, that had meant you were the one tossed to the beast. The old stories spoke of fair maidens and kings sons bravely sacrificing themselves for the better of others. But of course no one wanted to send their beloved children to death. But you? Orphaned and thieving,___? No one opposed that. And now you stood, hands bound to a tree as close to the Drakes Keep as they dared to bring you, waiting for death.
Night had finally fallen. The sound of crickets and the skittish steps of a rabbit your only company. Then as suddenly as it started, the forest was quiet and still as a grave. Even the breeze that blew the branches seemed to stop. Then the snap was heard. Then another. The crunch of leaves as if something heavy was being dragged across the ground. Then you saw it, a pair of teal blue eyes peeking out from between the trees. Tears continued to stream down your face as you locked gazes with the creature that would end.
"Just make it quick," you managed to choke out, throat raw from your sobbing. Not even sure if the beast could even understand you. "Please, be fast, that's all I ask."
The dragon finally moved. It slowly stepped out of the darkness and you could see it in it's full view. It's dark midnight scales almost blended into the night, in stark contrast to the golden scales that went up its stomach and throat. It tilted its triangular head curiously as it examined its food. Your eyes snapped shut as it got closer and closer, until you felt the hot breath of your face. The wet sound of its jaws opening was heard, and you could not help but scream.
      Then the ropes went slack.
"Relax." said a deep voice. "I wont do anything."
Opening your eyes, the dragon looked down at you, spitting out a piece of rope. "I...I… I dont understand." You shuddered out, wiping you tear stained face. "You arent going to eat me?"
The dragon rolled its eyes. "Honestly, what's with these villagers and thinking I want to eat people? Of course not."
You removed the last bits of rope around your wrist, glancing at the dragon all the while. It wasn't going to kill you. What did it want? "So…" you began cautiously. "What now?
"What do you mean what now?"
"If I'm not a meal, then what was the point of sacrifices? What is it that you want from the village."
"Nothing." The dragon replied as if it should have been plain as day. "I never wanted any sacrifices ever. I untie them and let them go. I don't want anything from your village."
"But… but…" you stammered. "The missing livestock. And all those old stories about a dragon that burned the town centuries ago!"
"My grandpa," the dragon replied. "Dont remember much about him, other than he was an old grouch. But that was a couple decades before I was even bored. as for livestock, sorry to say I was hungry. Large game have been scarce. Not my first choice, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Now," the dragon leaned down and sniffed at you, its warm breath blowing at your hair. "Who are you?"
       "-_" you stammered.
"And why, ___… did they decide to pick you to feed it the beast?"
You looked down, fiddling with the hem of your shirt. "No one wanted me." You answered honestly. "They were glad to have me gone."
The dragon sniffed once more, like a hunting hound committing a scent to memory. There was the sound of thunder out in the distance. "Well, you're free of them now." Was his only reply. "Theres another town just south of here." He pointed a claw to his left. "I can only guess you wouldn't want to go back from where you came."
You looked back between the direction the men who had tied up went, then the dragon, then to the direction he pointed. "So...so you'll let me go? Just like that?"
     "Just like that." He assured.
It seemed too easy. The dragon letting you go and free to start a new life far far away.  The sound of thunder drew a little closer, and with it the wind returned to rustle the trees. You shivered. They had taken your cloak when you were arrested, and obviously did not bother to give it back when you had been left to die.
The dragon seemed to take note of this, and tilted his head curiously. "What's the matter?"
"Cold." You admitted. "Since I can leave, do you happen to know where I could sleep for the night?"
The dragon eyed you once more and sniffed again as if looking for something of offense. When it seemed he did not find it, the dragon turned and nodded his head towards the direction he had come. "Follow me."
"You know my name," you said as you followed the creature further into the forest. "What's yours?"
"Raihan." He replied. "The Great Raihan."
"Who calls you that?" You asked, trying hard not to snort.
"Plenty of people." He said, twigs and leaves crunching under heavy feet. "I'll have you know, I have met many a knight and king that called me a great dragon."
"What kings? Anyone I might have heard of?"
"All sorts," he assured. "King Lance of Kanto. Queen Cynthia of Sinnoh. And most recently, your king Leon here in Galar."
"So tell me then, great dragon Raihan, why are you out here in the back water forests outside of my nowhere village?"
"Just as birds migrate, so do dragons." He explained. "We go from place to place, seeking spots of comfort to rest. Making a new home for ourselves or going to old ones."
"I take it this is an old home then?"
"Very old." He finally stopped and gestured to an ancient stone structure. With its half crumbled towers and vine covered parapets. "Very old indeed."
"I've only ever heard of this place." You said in awe as you walked up the stone steps of the ancient castle. "My grandmother used to tell me about the dragons lair. She and all the other elders called it The Drakes Keep."
"That's what you humans call it, yes." Raihan replied, pushing his large scaly body against the giant oak doors to open them. "But the true name of this place is Hammerlocke. Hammerlocke Castle."
Walking into the grand entrance, Hammerlocke caslte was oddly well kept for not having a human inhabitant for centuries. Aside from the few cracks in the stone from age, the floor was clean of dirt and debris. There was even decorative tapestries that still adorned the walls.
Raihan pushed against the doors once more to shut them firmly, keeping the cold out. Then you realized something.
"Um… not to sound rude or anything. But this doesn't look like a living space, and the doorways look far too small for you."
"Good observation. Sadly, castle life isn't very accommodating to this form."
     "Form?"
Instead of elaborating, Raihan showed you what he had meant. In a flash of light you saw the large creature shrink down and take the form of a very tall and very handsome young man. He stretched out and let out a sigh. "Yes form." He grinned at your shocked expression. "There are many things about dragons you don't know."
It turned out dragons were very hospitable. Raihan had kept the fire in the sitting room going with ease, making warmer than you had ever known. He had a sorts of finery stashed away, including good coats and blankets of the softest materials. He had explained it was in a dragons to hoard things of great interest or value. Despite that he may not have a need fancy furs to keep him warm or nice bottles of wine, they were still soft to lay on and tasty to drink, and so he kept them.
"I'm still surprised dragons can take human form." You commented, swaddled up nicely in the furs Raihan had loaned you, stomach full of the food he had gathered the other day.
"Oh yes, we are creatures of magic. Dragons, unicorns, the various breeds of fae." He took a sip from the golden goblet he poured the wine into. Unlike you he seemed to not be feeling the effects of it. "We were created by magic, neither human nor animal. So we are free to choose whichever form we please."
       "Do you appear human often?"
He shrugged. "I'd say it's fairly even. There is a time and a place for my true form, and I do enjoy visiting cities and what not, and that only really can be done like this." He gestured to his human form.
"I was always told dragons would sit in caves on piles of gold. Seeking princesses and young knights to drag away. Never that they like to be tourists."
"Everyone is different." He said. "Truth be told, all those stories are rather old fashioned. Me? I like humans. Well...some of you." He flashed you a grin, seeming to imply you were one of the likeable ones. "I suppose I've always been a rather curious one. When I was a hatchling, I would sneak off to town and play with local children."
"Now that does not surprise me," you said playfully while returning his grin. "You strike me as the sort who was a little scamp when they were young."
"Oh trust me, you are not far off." He chuckled. "My parents could do nothing to keep me away. Everywhere we went, I sought out people, and when I was grown I went all over. I learned to read in many of your human tongues. Learned histories of every land I could. Befriended as many as I could."
"That sounds amazing," you said wistfully. The life he described sounded like it could have only existed in a novel. You had never been able to venture out past the borders of the village. "I envy you, Raihan. I've never known such freedom."
"Well now you can." He replied. "All those townspeople think you won't return. You can start somewhere else."
Looking down at your own golden cup, your reflection stared back in the red wine. Never go back...that certainly was not the problem. They would not miss you, and you would not miss them. But what kind of life could you have out there? "I doubt wherever I go will be much better."
      "And why is that?"
"...Once a thieving urchin, always a thieving urchin." You said with all the resentment in you. That brand had followed you over half your life, and odds are it would follow you to the grave.
"I take it that's why they tied you up to be sacrificed." Looking up, Raihans face portrayed no emotion. Part of you wondered if now he was disgusted knowing he let a thief in here, or maybe he pitied you. Honestly you weren't sure which would feel worse.
You nodded. "When I was ten, my parents died. My grandmother long gone years before. My father's shop had caught fire, you see. And suddenly I was an orphan. No money, no home, no family. No one wanted to help. I had nothing, and so to the townspeople I was nothing.I did the only thing I could do: I stole to keep myself alive. I was arrested now and then, but I always got out. But the more I did it, the better I was at not getting caught. Well, until recently. And I think you know how that went."
"I wish I could say this is the first I've heard something like this, but it does seem like a sad reality to humans."  Raihans face then turned to concern as he reached out to put a hand in your shoulder. It wasn't until the tears were welling in your eyes a moment later did you realize it was because you were on the verge of crying. The events of today finally sinking in. Then he added. "But that doesn't mean you cant move on from it. Trust me, I've lived long enough to know what I'm talking about. Some of the best people I've known have lead similar beginnings to yours. I know it must feel awful now, but it'll get better. I promise."
"You can't promise anything." You said, wiping your eyes with the back of your hand. "What am I going to do in this new town? All I know is how to steal. I'll just end up back where I was."
"I mean, you could add some flare." He said jokingly. "I'd say you'd make a handsome jewel thief that steals hearts along the way."
You couldn't help but snort. "That is absolutely ridiculous."
"It's merely a suggestion." He grinned. "All I'm saying is why not have some fun with your self fulfilling prophecy?"
You paused for a moment. "...What was it like? When you first left to travel?"
"A bit frightful." He admitted. "But exciting. Often times lonely."
     "Lonely?"
Raihan nodded. "Yes, dragons, though we live long, are few and far between. Besides my family, it would be a few years before I saw another of my kind. Those stories you talked about of maidens in towers, I can assure you the reason was never malicious. Those drakes did it more for companionship than anything else."
"You make it sound like you speak from experience."
      "Well…"
      "Raihan, you didn't!"
"Oh I assure you ___," he smirked like an absolute cad and winked. "All princesses under my protection were there willingly.  And treated very well, if I do say so myself." Your face flushed at what he was implying, and Raihan bursted out laughing.
After a moment you began to laugh as well. It had been so long since you could sit like this and be friendly with anyone. Raihan was so good natured, it felt like it would be a challenge not to like him. "Are you going to stay in this castle long?" You asked. Wondering if it would be forward to ask if you could visit him from time to time after parting ways.
"For a few weeks," he said, taking a long drink from his goblet. "Then off to Wyndon."
"Wyndon? As in the capital city Wyndon?"
"The one and only. Off to visit a friend for the spring."
Part of you felt a bit disappointed for him to be leaving so soon. "I hope you enjoy it, " you said, meaning it. "I admit, I'll miss your company."
     "Then dont miss me."
     "What?"
"Come with me, I could use a travel companion."
"What would I possibly do in Wyndon?" Even as you said it, your mind raced with the possibilities. You had only heard in passing of the great city where King Leon held court. Of its beautiful building and the wealth of opportunities to be found there.
"What couldn't you do?" He replied. "The better question is what do you have to lose? Be my travel buddy, ___. See lands beyond this forest. Hear languages you've never heard. Rub elbows with royalty. If you don't like it I can drop you off in that village south of here, how does that sound? Unless of course you're considering being a heartbreaking jewel thief. In which case I wholeheartedly endorse your decision."
You thought it over and over. Be a dragons companion. Go to the capital and regions beyond. Or go to some other backwater town and possibly live in the mud once more. It wasn't a very hard decision. "I'll take you up on that offer."
Raihan smiled, a small fang poking at his bottom lip. He tapped his golden cup against yours. "Cheers. We ride in two weeks time."

"Just follow the directions and you'll get there, don't worry." Was what your friend had told you a few days before Christmas break in order to help you find the place you were meant to meet at.
Which you had been looking for, for about 30 minutes more than what she said would be necessary.
You were lost.
And to add to the misery, your phone had no reception, meaning you had no way to figure out where you had wandered off to as the cold winter air licked at your flushed cheeks, growing more frigid by the minute as you continued to walk forward.
Days before, when you noticed you had a week off from classes due to Christmas arriving, you had quickly made plans with a friend of yours: to go out and find you a hot date. This as you were both tired of your complaining.
You had already attempted this on the last day of college at a park near it, to no avail as no one of interest had shown up (aside from some friends of yours).
This time you were meant to meet her at a cafe she was very familiar with and a bit far from your house, but she assured you that lots of your type of people hung out there and that it was easy to get to.
The second part was either a lie or your mental map was just that bad.
Despite the fact that the sun should still be high in the sky - were it not being hidden by gloomy clouds - by the mid-afternoon hour, the temperature was nearly unbearable, the icy cold swiftly getting under your clothes and chilling you to the bone as you contemplated calling your friend and explaining your predicament to her.
You looked around the street you found yourself in the middle of, checking for some place where you could protect yourself from the unforgiving winter air as you attempted to message your friend without having your fingers fall off.
You spotted a small cafe in between a drugstore and a shoe store, with a large glass front that allowed you to see all the wooden tables inside, behind a pub table settled against the window, where potted plants sat.
The soft, golden light shining on the plants created an invitation, hard to ignore. Pushing open the door, the low hum of friendly chatter followed by the deep aroma of coffee met your nose and the sight of various homemade pastries warmed you instantly as you rubbed your hands together.
The space was scarcely crowded, expected from the side of town you assumed to have wandered into, but the atmosphere seemed warm and just full enough that it felt lively but not overwhelming.
You ordered your chosen beverage and sat at a table near the wall with it as you inspected the shop. Most of its occupants were teenagers and young adults, either chatting amongst themselves or typing away on their laptops while sipping coffee or eating various kinds of delicious looking pastries.
The walls were a light beige, contrasting with the dark furniture and a large wall with a painting of two birds atop a tree branch caught your eye, until you remembered what you had gone there to do: check-in with your friend and figure out where you were.
You took out your phone while looking at the sign on the wall with the WiFi password and waiting for it to connect as you looked around once more.
Your eyes skimmed over mostly natural or brightly colored hair, floating over simple waves and more intricate hairdos just before your eyes drifted down and caught a pair of big, brown ones who seemed to study you with a sweet sort of intensity, almost as if in awe. That made you blush, and not from the cold this time. Just before you looked away and tried to find something to keep you busy as your phone lay somewhat forgotten by your arm, facedown on the table.
The image of the handsome man whom you'd locked gazes with remained at the forefront of your mind as you took out your most recent fixation, a book of theories about soulmates, to avoid looking anymore out of place and awkward. He might've been smiling, or it could've just been your hopeful imagination. You decided not to dwell on it lest you fool yourself with hopelessly romantic deceptions.
You had come out to find a date. But not without your friend's help!
That would certainly end in disaster.
The words before you sucked you in, capturing your attention enough that your previous worries were all but an itch in the back of your mind as your cheeks finally cooled.
A notification reaching your phone broke your focus, making you pick it up to see a message from your friend, from about 10 minutes prior, saying that she couldn't make it due to a family emergency.
Well, at least you didn't leave her hanging.
Sighing, you placed your phone in your pocket, taking another sip of your drink and returning to your book.
Just before a shadow settled over you.
"Do you believe in them?" A voice asked, calm and smooth, from in front of you, to where you directed your eyes.
You looked to where you expected to see the man's face, only to be met with his broad chest, clad in a baby blue hoodie, before you looked up and up, and up and up...
God, he's tall.
As your eyes met his light brown ones - the ones from before which had examined you closely, you noted - he smiled, sweet and charming, inviting but not pushy as he waited for your answer.
"I--," You cleared your throat as you felt your voice begin to crack, almost sure you saw his eyes flicker with delight. You nodded before attempting to speak again. "Just not in such a… clear-cut way, I guess." You spoke shyly as his brows raised in interest, motioning towards the chair in front of you, to which you nodded, making him sit.
"I'm Hirugami Sachirō, by the way." He said, still with a smile, nodding as you told him yours. "Please do continue." He tilted his head cutely as he gazed at you, expectant as you thought extra hard about what answer to give the man you were currently trying to impress, making his short wavy, fluffy-looking hair move slightly over his forehead.
"Well, I believe everyone has someone that they're destined to be with, someone who just fits. But I don't think everyone is meant to find them, for starters." You explained, focusing on your words instead of on the blush growing brighter as you went on.
"As in, they don't deserve it?" Hirugami inquired, leaning forward as he rested his cheek on his hand. Cute.
"No, I mean, maybe they're from some other time period or a place they could never travel to. I feel like sometimes the world itself just makes it difficult."
"Makes sense." He said, nodding with a thoughtful pout and chuckling lowly as you refused to meet his interested gaze. "Which part are you at?" He motioned to the still open book with his chin.
"Oh! This chapter is about the possibility of having more than one soulmate. Which I think is somewhat neat. What do you think?"
His eyes widened slightly at being directed a question, before humming reflectively for a moment before speaking, "That sounds unfair, doesn't it? I feel like you had to have been a really good person in your last life to get that."
"You're trying to bring karma into this? It's already complex enough as it is." You chuckled, watching as his smile broadened at the sound, before shrugging.
"Exactly why we need to consider all the possibilities." He shrugs, leaning back and making you suddenly miss the close proximity that seemed so intimidating at first. His legs brushed yours for a moment before he adjusted his position slightly to sit somewhat properly.
"Are you a philosopher, or something?" You asked, impressed by his knowledge of such an unusual topic. "I mean, this is something not a lot of people know about." You explained after he raised a curious brow at your question (probably meant to tease, you guessed).
"No,” his hand came up to bashfully cover the growing smile on his face, "I'm actually a vet student, I just like learning." He said, shrugging as if it was the simplest thing. "And maybe I'm a little bit of a romantic at heart."
Your lips pursed as you tried to keep your smile from getting too wide as you felt giddy with fondness for the whole-package of a man in front of you. "Is that so?" You asked, not sure what else to say to that, looking down as you traced random shapes on the table with your finger while blushing.
You couldn't see it, but Hirugami had a very serious, contemplative expression on his face as you did this.
Would it be too forward to just ask you out then and there? You seemed quite reserved... Would you be creeped out?
But if he didn't do it then, he was afraid he'd never get his chance again. Plus, he didn't want this warm, fuzzy feeling you caused in his chest to ever disappear. He wanted to hold onto it for a little longer.
"You could find out just how much of a romantic I can be..." He trailed off, inspecting your face for any signs that you might not be interested, but all he saw was how your blush deepened as your mind worked faster than his lips, so he made his move, leaning forward slightly as your eyes widened meekly. "By letting me take you out somewhere. Right now."
Your eyes snapped to his, blinking in confusion as he grinned, your blush somehow becoming even redder.
That was almost too smooth.
"Right now? It's pretty late. Where would we go?"
"Don't you like surprises?" His adorably jovial expression nearly made you give in.
"What if I don't?" You asked back with a small smirk that you promptly hid behind your nearly finished drink as you took a sip.
He sighed exaggeratedly, before leaning forward again, even closer than before as his hand fell beside your stagnant one, mirroring your position as his leg brushed yours without moving away this time. "There's this really fun Christmas market downtown... I'm sure you'd like it." He spoke with a high pitched voice, hoping to convince you with his puppy eyes and batting eyelashes. Not that you needed any of that to be convinced to go on a date with such an attractive man.
"Sure." You responded, mentally cringing at your lame reply. But Hirugami didn't seem to mind. He smiled broadly at you, taking your empty cup and throwing it away as you packed your stuff before walking towards where he stood at the entrance.
He was even taller than you thought. He had to be at least 1,90m, you noticed as you stood beside him, dwarfed in comparison. His long, beige coat made him seem even taller, complimenting his hoodie as well as the light blue jeans adorning his long legs.
"You'll like it, I promise." He said before pushing open the door for you before getting out of the shop and into the unforgiving cold of dusk, seemingly much colder than it actually was for people coming out of a warm and inviting environment you'd been in before.
You smiled at each other for a moment as you rubbed your hands together, wishing you'd brought some gloves as he led you closer to downtown.
You admired Hirugami's side profile as you walked in somewhat comfortable silence, broken up occasionally by his humming. You willed yourself to say something this time, instead of letting him lead the conversation.
Before you could come up with a topic, a kid ran in front of you to go join his friends, almost making you lose your balance if not for Hirugami's gentle hand on your lower back steadying you.
After making sure that you were alright, he turned to the group of kids gathered in a circle, with you doing the same, as they picked snowballs out of the mount they'd created before placing pieces in their mouths.
"I remember when I was that stupid." Hirugami said, smiling sarcastically, before scrunching his nose disapprovingly as the kids shouted excitedly about what they'd just done.
"You couldn't have been that stupid." You chuckled as you eyed the kids worryingly while you passed as you continued walking.
"My thinking license was revoked that day." He replied, chuckling as he reminisced, making you giggle as you talked.
"Is it still revoked?"
"If you keep smiling like that it will be."
Your eyes widened at the unexpected line, looking away as his eyes remained on you intently with a smile on his lips, breaking out into a full laugh as you looked down embarrassedly.
"Well," You began after cleaning your throat, hoping it'd distract him from your burning cheeks, "do you want to expand on that?"
"So, one Christmas, my siblings and I decided to give our mother a very expensive pair of diamond earrings. Fancy stuff." His humorous tone made you giggle. "And pretty important, since without them, none of us would have any gifts to give her. I think you can kind of see where this is going by now."
"Or maybe not, because I haven't even introduced the most important character yet, but we'll get there." You raised an intrigued brow, smiling at his excited narration. "On Christmas day, our dog was left unsupervised near the presents for a few minutes, and when we came back, she had a very special and very expensive box in her mouth." He paused for dramatic effect as you cringed in sympathy.
He looked over at you to check if you were still listening, to find you with a scrunched up, adorably red, nose. The corner of his lips inched upwards softly, a blush dusted his cheeks and not from the cold before he regained his composure by looking ahead and making sure he didn’t stumble.
"And so, I tried to approach her and she ran away through the open window and I attempted to follow her... Only it didn't turn out as smooth as I had imagined." He sighed as you smiled with pity.
"And that's why Peanut isn't allowed anywhere near the presents."
“Peanut? Is that her name?" You asked curiously.
"Yeah! Wait, I have a picture right here." He said, pulling out his phone and showing you his lock screen, which was a picture of Hirugami and Peanut from years ago judging by how young he looked.
"She's adorable." You commented with a fond smile as you enjoyed the large, happy smile on young Hirugami's lips as he held his pet tightly, just before it was stored away in the man's pocket.
"Yeah, she takes after me."
Silence.
"I'll take it you think I'm cute."
"I plead the fifth." You both laughed loudly, earning odd stares from passersby that you paid no mind, as you approached a more crowded area close to the market. You would never tell him, but you were glad your joke was able to keep you from admitting that you did, indeed, find young Hirugami absolutely adorable. So cute that your heart could barely take it, with his bouncy looking hair and a toothy smile spreading over his round cheeks.
"But yeah, I got a whole mouthful of snow against my will and it wasn't anywhere near fun. So to see kids doing it willingly... Choices were certainly made." He said sarcastically as you laughed, nodding in agreement as you approached the wide plaza where the market was stationed, bustling with people and bright fairy lights.
"Come on! There's a stall this way that I buy from every year, and it never disappoints."
Hirugami led you towards a small stall with steam coming out of the windows as the worker fulfilled the people at the front of the queue's orders.
You stood by each other in line as you waited for your turn. "What kind of chocolate do you like?" He asked nonchalantly, and as you focused you could smell the scent of chocolate above the others.
"Surprise me." You said, not knowing exactly what he was planning to give you, but expecting something good nonetheless.
"I thought you didn't like surprises." He replied cheekily, smirking down at you as the line moved forward and you with it.
"Only on certain occasions."
"I'll keep that in mind." He said with a cheesy wink that still made you giggle. "You can stay back while I order, it'll be easier that way." He suggested as you got close to the start of the line, to which you nodded before motioning towards the fountain at the center of the plaza, waving as you walked to it.
You settled on the edge of it, taking out your phone and sending a message to your friend saying 'I have a lot to tell you.'
Just a few meters away stood a man who you were somewhat familiar with, tapping almost furiously on his screen, so unlike the deadpan expression on his face.
Bastard: Just fucking do it pussy🙄 It's the perfect opportunity!
So, clearing his throat, the man stepped forward, towards where you sat also looking at your phone.
"Here I thought you were the prettiest statue on the fountain." The man spoke from in front of you, making you look up from your phone to be met grayish-yellow narrow eyes that tugged at your memory in a familiar sort of way, though you couldn't place where you'd seen them before.
"You calling me stiff?" You asked with a blank look, holding in a smile as you finally realized where you knew him from, and by the widening of his eyes as he looked you over properly, he finally realized too.
"No! Ah fuck, aren't you in one of my classes?" The man asked, nose scrunched up in confusion as he squinted at you.
You nodded, telling him your name and what classes you shared (which were actually 2).
As he stuffed his cold hands in his pockets, his various rings caught on the fabric slightly, the glinting sliver on his pale hands matched the chains around his neck and the dangling earrings he wore. He looked down with furrowed brows which jumped up as a lightbulb seemed to go off in his head as he looked you over once more.
"Wait, was it two classes? Sorry, I don't really pay much attention to anything that happens in class." He said apologetically, rubbing his neck as he shifted from one chunky white sneaker to the other.
"Yeah, I can tell, even from the back row." You responded with a smirk, remembering the sight of the back of his spiky, dark brown hair, sitting two rows in front of you, doing everything but paying attention to the lesson. Fiddling with his jewelry or his phone, throwing anything he can get his hands on at one of his friends or simply just talking to them during the whole class. "If you didn't recognize me, then why'd you come talk to me?"
"Huh..." He trailed off, brows furrowed as if the answer was obvious.
He saw someone cute and tried to flirt with them, simple as that.
"Is that your friend?" Hirugami asked as he approached you and the new stranger, Suna, with two warm crepes with chocolate, narrowing his eyes at the other man slightly. "Hope you like Nutella." He commented as he watched you eye the sweets, handing one over to you which you took gratefully.
“We have a few classes together.” Suna said teasingly, taking a step closer to your side he kept his fox-like eyes on Hirugami’s narrowed ones with a challenging smile.
The air felt hot, slightly searing, despite how cold your hands felt, caught between two, very tall - although Hirugami was slightly taller than Suna, accentuated by his slouching -, very attractive, men.
"Well, we should get back to our date, I'm sure they can talk to you again in class next week.” The taller man said, a smile which you recognized as clearly being fake after such a short time with him on his face, taking a pleased bite out of his snack which you were also eating in an attempt to warm yourself up and distract from the tense atmosphere.
The sweet chocolate felt wonderfully warm on your taste buds, so good in fact that it nearly made you forget all about your surroundings for a moment, that is, until a hand was placed on your shoulder.
“Well, I don’t know if you noticed but your date seems cold." Said Suna - the owner of the hand on your shoulder - spitefully, smirking at the other man who blinked at your devious classmate, before they both turned to you.
Suna took your nearly finished snack from your hand, placing it into Hirugami’s opened hand as he gaped at the man - who donned some impressively sharp eyeliner - speechless as he took your hands into his pale and warm ones.
His hands were big around yours, the rings’ various textures scuffing against your skin as he attempted to create some friction tightening his grip to get the blood flowing and massaging each finger and the palms to help, breathing onto them as well as Hirugami looked in realization.
His hands had seemed cold at first glance when he’d first approached you - not like you’d been paying much attention to them, of course not - due to how pale and slim they were, seemingly incapable to provide much warmth despite being bigger than yours. But as he slowly brought warmth back to your digits, you realized their potential. He was gentle with his touches, but had a firm hold against your skin, hands so warm you wondered if he minded sacrificing his own warmth for yours.
Hirugami’s initial reaction was to chide Suna for putting the moves on his date, before he noticed the way your hands had lost some of their color, starting to regain it as the shorter man held them softly in his. He felt a sort of acceptance or perhaps even fondness for Suna’s actions, considering he saw what you needed before he could and acted without hesitation.
Maybe Hirugami's first thought of Suna, that he was a crafty man out to steal his date, was off by just a bit.
Not like he'd ever admit that.
He still thought he was too crafty though.
His shoulders sagged as he watched the way Suna gazed at you intently, your cheeks pinker than before. His brows furrowed as his chest tightened protectively, jealousy swirling in his gut.
You looked over at the man with the beige coat, noticing the crestfallen expression he wore as he stared down at the food in his hands.  A half melted, nearly finished sag of chocolate; once prepared with care to bring warmth and comfort, now lay cold, shapeless even. His eyes stared down at it, refusing to look at the result of his carelessness unfolding before him, choosing instead to focus on the hopefulness he could still feel as he looked at the sweet snack.
“I should probably start heading home.”
“I’ll walk you to the station!” Hirugami said quickly in response, not being content with just sitting back and wallowing in his mistakes. Those days are over.
“Then, I’ll be going. See you on monday.” Suna said cheekily with a wink as he waved, eyes solely focused on you while you smiled while waving back.
The man then turned to Hirugami, giving a nod that could’ve been respectful, but he took it as mocking, since that seemed to be the only expression Suna could muster. But he nodded back nonetheless, turning away with an arm around your shoulders.
“Is this the right way?” You asked as you headed the opposite way from where you came from, looking up at Hirugami as he took his arm from around you with a blush as he avoided your gaze.
“We can get to the station this way pretty fast and I want to show you something.”
You simply nodded, clueless to the reason why he was leading you down this path.
He felt as if he had something to prove. As if he had to be better than his “rival” (who wasn’t really a rival at all, to his knowledge).
Just like when he was younger, he had to be better.
As the two of you walked in comfortable silence, you couldn't help but gaze down at your feet. Colorful lights reflected brightly off of the worn stone path, diverting your gaze upwards. Figures made of lights greeted you as you did. Hirugami smiled fondly at you after you looked up to meet his gaze, he watched as the lights reflected off of your eyes, your face becoming redder at the eye contact. The hot fuzziness you felt in your stomach forced you to look away from his intense look.
You walked side by side through the streets, commenting on the lights you saw and admiring the way they hung between buildings, right above your heads.
At one point, Hirugami slipped his hand in yours, intertwining your fingers for good measure. His hand felt big, warm and soft, slightly bigger than Suna's with fingers just a little thicker--
Wait.
Why were you still thinking about Suna?
Why did your mind still linger on the feeling of his rings on your hands or the way his razor sharp eyes zeroed in on you like you were the most expensive piece of jewelry he'd ever seen?
You would've felt bad for Hirugami, if your mind wasn't on him too.
It seemed impossible for it not to be with how calming his presence was, easily lulling you into a sense of comfort like the sound of soft waves caressing the sand on a sunny summer day.
Somewhere you sort of would rather be at right now.
"Here we are." Hirugami's voice cut through the fog in your mind, stopping in front of the station and giving you an adorably awkward smile, swinging your still joined hands back and forth. This caused you to giggle at his antics while he laughed loudly at the released tension.
Neither of you wanted to speak, too afraid to ruin the pleasant atmosphere, knowing that you’d have to part from each other once you did.
Hirugami squeezed your hand once, then twice, then again as you did the same, rubbing his finger over the back of your hand as he took a step closer. His body heat enveloped you as he stood close enough for you to notice that his eyelashes were slightly lighter than his hair.
His hand raised hesitantly, brushing the side of your face with a feather-light finger that went around your head until he cradled it. You craned your head up in order to look at him as he looked down at you fondly, thumb stroking your red cheek. His big brown eyes roamed your features, as if committing them to memory with fond care.
“I’m glad we met. Call me anytime, ok?” He whispered, each word brushing your face before you nodded. His heart made his chest vibrate with its strength as he breathed deeply while looking intently into your eyes, nervous but elated at the happenings of his day. Well, most of them.
Hirugami’s face neared yours suddenly, eyes half-lidded while yours widened, before he placed a long and tender kiss on your forehead, making your eyes slip closed for a moment, the feeling of his soft, plump lips against your skin making your head feel light and a pleasant warmth to hum beneath your skin.
You stepped away from him slowly, hands attempting to hold each other for as long as possible before you walked towards the station, turning around every few steps to shoot him a smile or a wave before he disappeared from your view with an animated wave and a wide, toothy smile.
You took out your phone, pulling up your friend’s contact and ignoring the messages she’d sent already in response to your previous, cryptic text, and sending another message.
I have even more to tell you.

Phoenix Lazar Nobleworth Silverwood
Below is a lengthy history of his parents, their involvement with dragons, and how he lost them.
Ps: I tried adding some Scottish dialect in the dialogue, but I'm not the best at it considering all I have as reference is my love for James McAvoy and Outlander. Forgive me in advance for any atrocities lol. Also, diverging from canon especially in relation to Veela powers and physical descriptions.
Phoenix's father, Emilian, was sorted into Gryffindor and with pride, he was a Gryffindor by the book, adventurous, brave, often reckless, fun, with a strong sense of protection over his friends, someone who valued courage and honor.
Emilian didn't know how he and Palmer Silverwood - Slytherin, pureblood, much more popular than him, and one of the best duelists in their year - became friends, he also didn't know how Palmer found an about to hatch dragon egg in the forbidden forest, or how he even got into the forbidden forest to begin with, but being who he was, Emilian wasn't much surprised.
The biggest surprise was that Palmer even knew who he was.
Emilian takes a peek into Palmer's robes where the egg is hidden. "So? You're the dragon laddie, Nobleworth."
"Yeah, it's a dragon egg. Common Welsh Green this one." He looks up. "And is that what people call me?"
"Are ye really surprised? You talk about them all the time, yer the best in Care of Magical Creatures, and ye have a dragon painted at the back of yer bloody robes."
"Only fair. McGonagall hates it."
Palmer laughs. "Will ye help me?"
"Aye. But what ye want me to do?"
"I dinna ken. I just don't want the wee dragon to die. The poor creature wasn't warm when I found it so it's probably motherless. I mean... they fire up their eggs, don't they?"
Emilian smiles. "You're not as unknowledgeable as you think, Silverwood. Let's go somewhere more private."
In the humid and dusty air of the artifact room, they hide. "Hand me the egg."
Palmer hands him the egg delicately as if the creature inside it wasn't one that could eat them both in a bite when grown. And for a moment Palmer wonders what he'll do, but Emilian just stands there holding the egg. And as he's about to question him, he sees Emilian's fingers get bright red.
"Mate? What's wrong with yer hands?"
Emilian snickers. "I have a secret, can you keep it?" Palmer nods eyes fixated on the egg whose cracks were very slowly growing. "I'm half Veela and whilst I can't throw balls of fire from my hands... I can heat it up to... oven temperature."
"Oven temperature?"
Emilian smirks. "Ah dinnae have exact numbers, but if ye want to give a touch."
Palmer looks at his hands again. "Nae. They're as bright as molten glass, lad."
Emilian raises his eyebrows. "Oh, I felt it move."
"Ooohh, it's gonna set this tiny room on fire."
"Let me hide it this time. I ken a place we can go. The person ye should've gone to in the first place."
Palmer widens his eyes. "Kettleburn, nae."
"Silverwood, ye cannae keep the dragon. It'll set you on fire before completing one year."
Palmer puffs as they walk out of the artifact room. "If the dragon enthusiast dinnae want to keep a real dragon, why would I?"
"A dragon lover is the same as a bee lover. You can appreciate the honey, the lovely stripes, but if ye hold it in yer hand, it'll sting you. Dragons were made to live outside, flying, spitting fire. A wee dragon is cute, but once is grown..."
"Yer a curious lad, Nobleworth." Emilian gives an awkward half smile. "I like you."
Their friendship was as unexpected to them as it was for the bystanders, but one that sustained for their last two years in Hogwarts - including Palmer's girlfriend, Clarin, an uptight but curious Ravenclaw, who despite her best instincts followed behind on the boys' adventures.
When Emilian announced he would be leaving England for the Dragon Sanctuary in Romania a couple of years later, as much as Palmer and Clarin expected that to happen, it still came with the bittersweetness of watching one of their best friends go.
Years go by, but still, their bond sustains time and distance. Every opportunity they had, the SIlverwoods would travel to Romania to visit their friend who in a lighting in a bottle chance found himself a wife of "his kind".
Full Veela, Antonia Lazar, practically raised herself as her father left her mother, a temperamental full Veela woman, to deal with Tonia herself, a task she delegated to her equally careless family members, closely involved with the Dragon Sanctuary in times the place was still informally managed.
When Emilian meets her, barely wearing rags over her body, barefoot on the grass, pearl blonde hair unruly, looking as if she was raised by wild house elves, he couldn't help his heart hammering in his chest. Female Veela beauty wasn't something he was unused to, considering his mother and aunts were ones as well, but when Antonia was before him he thought of himself before a goddess.
Emilian tries not to spill the water in the heavy buckets while Antonia doesn't seem to be struggling at all. He wouldn't have a need to even carry them if he hadn't forgotten his wand, but at least he got to be alone with her.
"Why is it that ye dinnae like us?"
"You English think you run the place just because you read about dragons in a book, think you know more than us who grew with hundreds of them." She shoots him firey eyes. "Know when I first rode a dragon? I was five years old!"
"I never say I doubted yer capacities. And I'm not English, I'm Scottish." She glares at him again. "I'm kidding."
"Don't get me angry, you won't like it me angry. Trust me."
"I would actually. I wonder what color yer feathers would be."
"I'm sorry?"
"I ken a Veela when I see one. Especially cause I'm half one."
Her expression soothes a little. She puts the bucket down and grips his hand. "Go, do your magic."
While his hand goes as hot as they can, his eyes slowly change hues to match her, never breaking eye contact. "It's nice touching a girl who doesn't mind a more... ardent touch."
She gives a small smile. "You're pathetic."
"I'd love to fly on a dragon's back with someone who understands about them. I promise I'm not here to mock or doubt you. I love those creatures more than anyone I know."
She lets go of his hand and with a smirk picks up the bucket. "Well, now you know me."
Their relationship quickly becomes stronger as they spend day after day together. The work at the Sanctuary is as rewarding as it is tiring, so at the end of long days, they would sit together and exchange stories, her of her buckwild childhood and him of his years in Hogwarts. In each other's company that they find an air of normality and peace.
After recognizing and accepting her strong feelings for Emilian - something hard considering how men had treated her before, seeking what she had to offer them more than considering her needs - and finding out he felt the same for the longest time, they decided to marry, her seeing in him a sense of stability for the first time in her life.
It doesn't take long until Antonia is pregnant with their first child, and in the pool of genes and possibilities, their first-born boy is a full Veela like his mother, something uncommon for boys. Not considering what would be 'formal' or well accepted, Antonia decides to name him Phoenix for encompassing what being a Veela means to her, a bird of elegance and fire and perseverance.
And as if it was pre-destined, just a couple months prior, Clarin and Palmer had given birth to a girl of name just as uncommon, little Indigo Silverwood, who is but three months old when they come to Romania to meet little Phoenix.
To this day, the Silverwoods wonder if their timing was the best or worst it could've been.
As in the same week they came to visit, an attack happens with the intent of capturing as many dragons as they could from the reserve, something that had happened times before but this time much better planned and heavily armed with the best wizards they could get.
They start picking up their wands in haste while seeking the fire protection potion they had brewed specially for this trip back at home. "What do they need dragons for? Can't they breed their own." Clarin asks.
"Is not like is legal or easy to do so." Antonia has her eyes soaked with tears. "They don't care about the creatures, they want money. Oh, they use their blood to make spot removers. Oven cleaners! How can you take a marvelous creature and turn it into such a pathetic thing? Then they use their hearts in you wizards stupid wands and their skin into gloves!"
"Somebody must have heard about the new Chinese Fireball," Emilian says, "People seek the gold in their horns and eggs, but if you pull them out, they die."
"Not to mention the baby Romanians. Put your goddamn boots on already, Emilian!"
"What 'bout the bairns?" Palmer asks anxiously.
"There's no time. They probably ain't getting all the way up here, but in all cases." Emilian grabs the potion from Clarin's hands turning over Jacob's and baby Indigo's mouth, knowing the fire wouldn't do harm to Phoenix. He places something in Jacob's little hand. "Jacob, if any mean person comes trying to hurt ye, throw this at their feet and run. Alright?" Jacob nods, eyes wide with fear and excitement of a five-year-old.
"What is it?" Palmer asks.
"A vial of Peruvian's Vipertooth venom, extremely deadly and volatile. Don't ask me why I have it."
Palmer looks at Jacob. "Stay quiet and protect the babies, right, love?"
Antonia kisses Phoenix on the forehead one last time then turns to the others. "Let's go, please!"
And if they knew, she would've held him a little longer, Emilian would've stopped time for a couple of seconds to look at their boy for a lingering moment more. But they didn't and time never reversed.
They weren't the only lives lost, but side by side they fought and won and lost and lost and lost. They managed to protect all but two of the dragons at the end, blood of dark wizards - and innocent ones - soaked the grounds. Dragons loose on the sky overhead, blood spilt from both sides, burnt buildings, scars that would never heal, the body of a friend devoided of life, a mother of dragons and children never to wake up again, children crying in a cabin kilometers away.
When Antonia's mother refused to watch over her own grandson, Clarin felt as if it was her own son the woman refused and it was that soon the decision to keep him came. She was still breastfeeding and no ordinary family would know how to raise him right, at least that's what both her and Palmer told themselves. Emilian's parents, both devastated by the news of their son's death were quick to agree with the Silverwoods' proposal.
And it's like this that Phoenix and Indigo are practically raised as twins, still young when he notices he doesn't look like the rest of them - a pale and blonde boy in a family of tanned brunettes - not only for his looks but by the fact that sinking his hand into a pot of boiling water doesn't hurt or the fact his anger makes his body react differently from the others or that people got mesmerized by his looks enough to do whatever he asked them to.
But the Silverwoods learn the painful way that raising a Veela child is not easy work. Not only easily irritable but also dangerous when transformed, not much to others while still young, but to himself due to painful and harmful transformation, taking hours until he could retain his human form. Meditating and thought exercises became pivotal from an early age. As not make their treatment towards him different from Indigo, they become tougher with both, demanding an altruistic, patient, and empathetic behavior from both.
This leads Phoenix to grown into a level-headed, sweet and compassionate boy who eventually got sorted into Hufflepuff without the sorting hat having to consider long.
As much as he wishes he had grown with his biological parents, he's grateful to have grown in the family he did and doesn't consider himself any less part of it, he loves his siblings dearly and considers and reslects his parents as if it was from their blood and cells he was made of.
---
This is my attempt at a concise history of Phoenix, mostly his parents who I dream of drawing someday. I'll make something in the future for his romantic life as it is its own ride. I ship him with Ismelda and boy oh boy I have some to say about that.
If you wanna more info on Phoenix, I made him an OC profile :)

HEAVENS Black Garden English Translation 【 Shion's Route Pt. 1 】
Tumblr media
[ — I do not own Black Garden, HEAVENS, Utapri, or any of the characters. This is a fan translation using a combination of google translate and my own japanese knowledge — ]
// Translated by MilkmateArtist
-------------------------------------------------
▽ You
"There he is ..."
I didn't ask for his name, but I quickly realized it was Simon.
He was leaning against a big tree, sleeping comfortably.
▽ You
"Simon, please wake up."
It hurt me a bit to wake him up so soon, but I shook his shoulders lightly.
▽ Simon
"Hmm……".
His eyes opened slowly.
▽ You
"It's nice to meet you."
▽ Simon
"A stranger ……! !! "
"The moment he recognized me he backed away looking at me with fear in his eyes.
▽ You
"I'm ( ___ ). I received a letter and came here."
▽ Simon
"You are ... a relative of the Lord."
▽ You
"I'm sorry I woke you up. Eric and I were looking for you, you see."
▽ Simon
"I see. I guess it took a while...."
Simon stood up and bowed.
▽ You
"What were you doing at the edge of the garden?"
Spending so much time with Eric, he must worried about me being in an unfindable place.
▽ Simon
"I was looking for a bird ... The blue bird cherished by the Lord has escaped. It's still young, so I'm worried..."
Simon's sad expression suggested he cherished the bird as well.
▽ Simon
"Looking for it exhausted me, so I thought I'd rest."
He must have searched pretty frantically if he had to rest like that.
I wondered what to do.
(A) Wait for its return in the garden
(B) Go back to the mansion for a bit
(C) Look for it together
(A) Wait for it's return in the garden
▽ You
"Let's wait for the little bird to come back to the garden."
I thought it would be better to be near the garden.
A small bird wouldn't have been able to fly that far.
▽ Simon
"Oh, that's a good idea. Would you wait there with me?"
▽ You
"Yes!"
We decided to sit under a tree and wait.
…………. ……………………. ……………………………….
Despite waiting a long time, there was no indication of the little bird's return..
▽ Simon
"It will be too late after dark so ... Let's go find it."
▽ You
"I agree."
I also obeyed Simon, who stood up anxiously.
(B) Go back to the mansion for a bit
▽ You
"Would you like to return to the mansion for a bit?"
He must have been looking for it before I came here. If he couldn't find it then, then it might be unlikely that we would find it now.
▽ You
"I'm sure it will be back soon."
That said, Simon's complexion changed.
▽ Simon
"You're sure……? Even though I'm not... If the Lord were to find out .."
There was a ghastly look on his now pale face.
▽ Simon
"Although, even if it is just a bird in this situation, for me it is irreplaceable."
▽ You
"I'm sorry. It doesn't mean that your intention ..".
▽ Simon
"It's fine. I'll search on my own."
Then he ran into the forest.
▽ You
"Please wait!"
I followed, but I lost sight of Simon. Not only that, I didn't even know how to get back.
I wandered aimlessly until completely all my strength was gone. My life was cut short in that forest.
BAD END
(C) Let's find it together
▽ You
"Let's find it together! Please let me help too."
Seeing Simons depressed expression, I couldn't help but say that.
▽ Simon
"...... Is that alright? That's encouraging. You're a kind one ( ___ ). "
Simon smiled happily.
▽ You
"Well, that's ... That's because you conveyed your feelings to me Simon."
▽ Simon
"I think I'll get along with you. Thank you for your warm consideration."
▽ You
"We'll definitely find it!"
We went back to the garden and looked for Eric, but there was no sight of him.
I wanted to report that Simon was found, but feeling the search for the little bird was the top priority, and we returned to the forest.
▽ You
"What kind of work do you do here in the mansion?"
I thought that having a conversation would make him feel better, so I tried asking a question I was curious about.
▽ Simon
"I take care of the animals that the Lord has brought back from all over the world."
▽ You
"That's pretty sweet. It's probably really hard though."
▽ Simon
"Yeah…… All of them are unique and adorable. If you treat them well they return the favor."
His shining eyes and passionate words conveyed his honest feelings.
▽ Simon
"It was in my care as well. That bird ... However, the door of the cage was broken."
▽ Simon
"I want to find it soon. I'm sure it's trembling from loneliness."
▽ You
"…… But we've come a long way."
A steep slope continued in front of me.
▽ Simon
"This is called Jigokuzaka ... It's that tough of a trail."
▽ You
"Jigokuzaka……. That sounds intense."
▽ Simon
"There is a hill with a good view at the end of the climb. I wonder if the bird would prefer such a high place.."
We looked at each other and made up our minds.
▽ Hugo
"What are you guys doing here?"
▽ You
"Hugo!"
Suddenly, he emerged from the bush behind him. He always seemed to be coming out of nowhere.
▽ Simon
"What a good time.. Will you take us to the top of this slope?"
▽ Hugo
"Oh, that's easy. Well, let's go."
▽ You
"Huh ...! ??"
Just like that, Simon and I were easily carried on both of Hugo's shoulders as he started running on the slope.
▽ You
"Aren't we heavy? I can walk on our own, so please let me down.. "
▽ Hugo
"No problem at all. This is far easier than my usual training."
I wondered what he usually did... I was curious about Hugo's daily life.
▽ Hugo
"More importantly, it would be bad if Simon collapsed. He doesn't have the strength."
We couldn't find the bird after we got to the top. After we were done searching, Hugo took us on his shoulders again and climbed down.
▽ Simon
"Thank you Hugo ... I'm grateful."
▽ Hugo
"Don`t worry. Well, I'm in the middle of patrolling, so I'm gonna head out."
Then Hugo disappeared into the bush again.
▽ Simon
"Next, let's look around the building. I had it in it's cage when we went on walks."
Relying on memory, we searched the area where it might return to.
▽ You
"……! !!"
Suddenly something glazed in front of me.
Looking at where the noise came from, I saw a sword stuck in the wall. Overwhelmed, I fell to my knees.
▽ Keith
"During training ... it slipped from ... my hand. I'm sorry. Are you hurt ...?"
Keith ran up to me while I was on the ground, reaching a hand out. .
▽ You
"I'm okay. A bit surprised but..."
It's scary to think that it would have hit me should the timing have not been a little off.
▽ Simon
"Keith is burdened by his role as guard... Training is necessary. Please forgive him."
▽ You
"Don't worry about it.. Nothing happened after all. More importantly, did you see a bluebird at all, Keith?"
I wanted information on any clues.
▽ Keith
"I have not ... You might find if you... get some bait ...from Eric ..."
▽ You
"That's a good idea!"
We went around the hall to find Eric.
▽ You
"There he is!"
Eric was looking for something in the wine cellar.
▽ Eric
"Ah……! Simon, you found me."
Seeming to be in a hurry, he put the vial he had in his hand in his pocket.
▽ Eric
"I was looking for wine to cook for dinner."
Although I felt something was wrong, the search for the small bird came first.
When we explained the situation, Eric gave us some bread crumbs.
▽ You
"We should definitely be able to find it with this."
▽ Simon
"I hope that will happen. Above all, it must be hungry. If we don't find it soon ..."
We headed out of the mansion again.
When we got out of the front door, we encountered Mika.
▽ Simon
"Mika, what good timing. Would you help me look for a bird?
▽ Mika
"Nope, as much as I would like to. I have to go to deliver letters from here on out."
▽ Simon
"If it's official orders then ... it can't be helped. That's a shame."
▽ Mika
"Jeez, are you really that depressed?!"
▽ Simon
"Your observation skills are keen and are very clever. Without your help I can't manage to motivate myself.
▽ Mika
"I guess that's so but ... That's it! Why don't you ask Virgil? I'm sure he's "free" at this time."
We found Virgil where Mika had told us he should be.
He was humming some song in a relaxed manner.
▽ You
"It's just as Mika said."
▽ Simon
"It seems so.. Virgil is skipping out while on duty."
▽ You
"Um ... I'm sorry to interrupt your break"
▽ Virgil
"Wha! What's that, are you implying I'm slacking off !??"
Surprised at our appearance, he jumped up, corrected his posture.
▽ Simon
"We're looking for a blue bird ..."
▽ Virgil
"That sounds grand! I'll help too! In exchange, can you keep what you saw before a secret?"
▽ Simon
"Okay, I won't tell the Lord. Then, do you have a plan?"
▽ Virgil
"It's darkest under the lamppost. The answer might be closer than we thought?"
Virgil looked outside the mansion while we decided to look inside the mansion.
▽ Simon
"It may have returned to the place it normally is."
With the idea in his head, Simon seemed to be walking with a purpose.
▽ Abel
"Where are you going in such a hurry?"
Abel called us and we stopped.
▽ You
"We're looking for a little bird that Simon is taking care of."
▽ Abel
"I see. I hope I can find it by dinner. You can't find it when it gets dark. "
▽ Simon
"…………."
To be honest, there was no guarantee that it would be found. Finding a bird that can fly around freely is a difficult task.
Perhaps he felt that, Simon closed his mouth.
▽ Abel
"Simon. ...... Believe, and give strength to your wish."
Abel grabs Simon's shoulder and speaks to inspire him.
▽ Abel
"Feelings surpass everything. Make the impossible possible!
The strong words touched our hearts like a spell.
We stopped in front of a room and opened the door.
Only an empty birdcage was there.
Let's give up already
I will do something
Be speechless
(A) Let's give up already
▽ You
"Let's give up already. It's impossible to find an escaped bird".
It's painful, but sometimes you have to face the reality.
▽ Simon
"No, that's not true……! There is no way I can give up"
His voice changed like he was a different person.
▽ Simon
"What do you know! This sadness, this pain ... "
My shoulders were strongly grasped and violently shaken.
▽ You
"Kya ……! !!"
I couldn't help but lose my balance to the momentum.
I hit my head hard on the desk holding the birdcage and fell to the floor.
A burning pain spread through my head. I couldn't even say a word, and it was pitch black in front of me.
I felt like I heard an eerie laugh in my consciousness.
BAD END
(B) I will do something
▽ ▽ You
I'll do something about it!
Before I noticed, the words had come out.. I didn't want to see Simon's sad face.
▽ Simon
"Really……?"
I didn't have a concrete solution, but if I didn't put my feelings forward then our hopes would be lost.
▽ You
"Yes……. I promise."
▽ Simon
"The power of Kotodama is strong. I wonder if your feelings will cause a miracle to happen."
When he spoke, he gently took my hand and smiled happily.
(C) (Be speechless)
▽ You
"…………."
I had no words.. I was overwhelmed by the hopeless reality.
▽ Simon
"It's only when you lose something that you realize its importance..."
Simon's sadness was immeasurable. The expression of despair was unbearable to see.
▽ You
"I will do whatever I can. So please ..."
I muttered, praying to heaven.
CONTINUE:
Time passed mercilessly, and the night fell.
Waiting for the morning to come, I vowed to search again and went to sleep.

Dan Torrance x Fem! Reader: Intro
Tumblr media
A/N: Hello lovelies! This is the beginning of the fic I posted about earlier during the week that is going to be revolved alot around Rose. How many parts It'll turn out being, I don't know. Most of this fic, I'm doing in pretty big detail and I've never written anything like this before.
I am going on a date on Valentine's Day to most likely see Birds of Prey and from what I've heard about it, my sappy Bisexual heart already has a soft spot for Harley Quinn and Roman Sionis so I probably will begin accepting request for them as well as the Dr. Sleep characters I already write for. (Doctor Sleep Request are still open) I do have 2 Rose the Hat request am I working on rn. Anyways, Criticism is welcome on this one. I hope you enjoy and all is well.
Warnings: Child abuse, sexual tension, mentioned violence against children, gore, kidnapping, the usual.
Key: Dragă is the equivalent to sweetheart in Romanian
1980:
SNAP! Rose the Hat removed the top from one of their many full cannisters. "Eat well, live long," She whispered amorously before members of The True pushed her out of the way to get a whiff of their freshest thing of steam.
She stepped back, crossing her arms as she watched The True feast. This one's name was Anthony and she could remember juiceness in the taste of his steam. Yet, she didn't want him.
She missed the feel of the hunt and seeing the steamheads squirm underneath her. Rose felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist and she smiled at Crow, kissing the crook of his neck. "Aren't we quite frisky?"
"Just in love with you." He kissed her cheek and rubbed up and down her sides. "Crow.." Her eyes rolled into the back of her head. "I want you Rosie..only if you're okay with it, of course."
"You idiot, you already know the answer to that question." She smashed her lips against his and the two of them stepped into her trailers.
The noises coming from her RV were not unfamiliar to anyone who belonged to The Knot. When all was said and done, the two laid in each other's arms. Having their typically late night talks.
"There's not as much steam." Rose rolled her eyes into the back of her head. "Oh please don't be daft." She rolled over and buried her head in his bare chest. "We have three empty cannisters, not a big deal."
"It is a big deal. That's all time low for us and the kids now are being taught the whole stranger danger things. It's not as easy to lure them in."
"Well then what do you suppose we do about it? Without turning anyone." Rose looked him in the eye.
"Well, I've been thinking about it for a while...I have an idea but I don't know if you're going to want to hear it. It's a little..unorthodox." Rose raised a brow and chuckled. "Oh? Do tell because now I'm curious.
"You're going to think I'm insane, Rosie." She rolled her eyes. "Oh please, you of all people know I've seen it all. Just be honest and tell me."
"What if we got a baby or a kid?" He fiddled around with his hat. Rose had to fight the urge to laugh. "A baby? What the fuck would we both do with a baby?"
"Well not exactly a baby but look, I was thinking most rube children typically tend to relate to other rube children better than adults."
"And?"
"And what if we got a child, a particularly steamy one, to help us get what we need?" Rose thought about it for a moment. "That beats the whole point of not turning anyone though. Because I know you well enough to know that eventually you will get attached to it and you'll end up wanting to turn it."
"Rosie, they wouldn't be an it. They would be family. By the time they would be old enough to be turned the cannisters would be full and she-"
"She?" Rose questioned. "Assuming it's a girl. They don't have be a girl but anyways, by that point all the cannisters would be full because we'd have them to help us find the steamheads and it wouldn't be an issue turning them because we'd have such an easier time finding steam."
Rose sighed rubbed her face. "I don't know..it's just- Crow, I'm not fit, no- we're not fit to raise children. We kill them, Crow!"
"I know but we have everything to gain and nothing to lose. Worse case we wipe the kid's mind and everything goes back to normal or we kill 'em."
Rose stared deeply into Crow's eyes and pulled his face close to her's. "I'll think about it." She kissed the top of his head and looked up at the clock on the wall. "The rubes are probably wondering when they'll hear from you. Time you get ready to get on the road, big man."
"I know," He groaned and stood up, kissing the top of her. "Just think about it?" Rose made a humming noise and kissed his hand before watching him walk away.
Rose actually did think about it for a while before bringing up the matter with the Grampa Flick while Crow was away on business and the others were asleep.
"Well..it could be worth a shot. It's really up to you though, Rosie." She took a sip of her tea. "I'm not asking for pros and cons. I want to know what you think I should do."
He gripped his cane in his hand and sighed. "I think it's worth a shot. Even if it doesn't work out, we still do end up with extra steam and it's not like we hurt for money, Rosie."
"You're sure?" Rose held her hands in his. "I'm positive." She looked him up and down as if she was analyzing him. "Okay." She stood up from the lawn chair and kissed the top of Flick's head. "You won't mention anything to Crow when he comes back and make sure the rest of the family doesn't either?"
"Not a word," He coughed. "Not a word." She nodded and smirked as she walked away.
About two days after that conversation, Rose began her search for the perfect fit for The Knot. The first two weeks she hit nothing but finally she found something.
Just outside of a resort area in Colorado, Rose discovered a small row of cookie cutter homes located on the beginnings of a mountain. While she thought the houses were very rube like, she paid them no mind. What interested her more was what laid beyond those homes.
Farther up the road if you made a left, there was a long dirt driveway that after about a mile or two, lead up to a large cabin.
At first the house seemed like nothing but ordinary at first glance but to people who shined the way The True Knot did, it was a light shining to the moths searching meaninglessly in the dark.
Hardly anyone ever came in and out of the house and took Rose over a week to actually pin you as the steamhead in the house since you did have an older brother.
You were different from the rest of your family. "Special," Rose heard your mother mutter to you one night as she tucked you though she didn't have to be in her head to know special was not the word she was actually thinking of.
She was scared of you. Your whole family was scared of you and Rose couldn't understand why. You never were particularly domineering with your gifts and you always obeyed everything they asked of you. Even staying out of there heads when they felt their minds going adrift yet, they were terrified of you.
Rose watched you for weeks, constantly consulting back and forth with Grampa Flick about whether you'd be a good fit for a group. You didn't seem to notice though, as you were preoccupied with other things in your home life and wanted nothing but to hear from at least either of your parents that they loved you.
The one night in particular, Rose got to have a front row seat on your pain. She sat up on a tree branch, swinging her legs back and forth as she stared intensely at your bedroom window. The rest of the house was dark but your room was lit up like a Christmas tree.
"Now do you see why we're so stressed out?!" Your silhouette came into view from the light colored curtains shrouding your window and Rose could make out the outline of a male much taller than standing across from you.
"I-i'm sorry, daddy!" You screamed, terror brimming from everything to your voice to your posture. "I-i can't help...I wanna be normal!" You sobbed hysterically. "Come on, dad. She can't help she is, the way she is."
"Quiet, son!" Rose shook her head, still keeping her eyes fixed you. "Fucking rubes," She muttered under her breath.
Your father's fiery gaze turned back to you. "Then why can't you be normal?!!" Rose could see him gripping your wrist and closed her eyes as she heard the sound of a hand smacking against flesh followed by a scream. "Dad!" She heard your brother yell followed by another hit, except this time a male cry radiated through the house.
Rose could take no more and began her way back to the jeep as she seen your mother's figure enter view. "What the hell is going on in here?" She could hear from the distance, the further Rose went the more she blocked out the noise.
She got in the car and watched your house for a few moments. The light went out in your room and Rose could hear no more screams. She admitted a sigh of relief and covered her face. She knew it was unhealthy to feel so attached to you. She didn't even know you but that insecurness in your voice reminded her so much of yourself and how lonely she felt when she was younger. Rose had to have you. There was no option.
When Rose shared the news with the rest of The Knot, there was hesitance at first but eventually they gave in. Knowing that she was their leader and they'd do as she intended anyways.
The next couple of days were spent carefully meditating in her RV away from the rest of The Knot and planting little worms your head. While Rose didn't think you would give her much trouble leaving home once she got in your head, she was taking no chances.
The night before she planned on taking you, Crow finally came back from business and Rose still had no intentions of telling him what she was doing. Besides an extra add on steam, she figured she could also use you as sort of a gift to Crow. An 'I'm sorry I don't listen to you and here's me making up for it.'
He knew something up when she refused to speak anyone in The Knot but didn't question it. He figured she was going through one of her moods and decided it was probably best not to say anything to her at all.
The next morning when you woke up, you felt an almost magnetic pull on your body like something or someone wanted your attention from outside. It wasn't a scary pull like the ones from whatever stray lost souls were around. This pull felt warm and safe.
You unbraided your long, Y/c/h and threw on the first dress you seen in your closet before skipping downstairs. "Where do you think you're going?" Your mother called out from the kitchen. "Just to pick some flowers." You made up.
"Don't wander to far, please." You slipped on a pair of sneakers. "I won't. I promise. I'll see you soon, mama." You blew her kiss, hoping she'd return the gesture but the older woman refused to even look at you and you stepped onto your porch dejectedly.
You closed your eyes and focused your attention to the direction of the pull. It came from the woods and you hesitated, thinking of all the ghostie people you seen come from there yet something kept telling you to just go for it.
You walked off towards the edge of the woods, letting your shine be your guide. Even though it was still day, everything was so dark and desolate around you. You felt chills on your arms the further you went and just as you were about to turn around you felt the pull grow stronger, horribly strong.
"Well, hi there!" You jumped at the unexpected voice and spun around to look at Rose. You squeezed your eyes shut, expecting her to morph into one of the ghostie people but she didn't. Rose chuckled and you blushed. "..Hi." You toddled over to the much the taller woman, staring deeply into her gray eyes before she pulled you into a small hug.
The gesture was surprising but it didn't bother you. It was her aura that bothered you. Something was off about her. "I was wondering when you were going to get here." She smiled and held out a flower in her left hand. "Do you want one?"
"Yes please," You hummed in the cutest little voice, getting the feeling that this was a person you didn't want to mess with yet you thought the top hat lady in front of you had to be probably the prettiest person you'd ever seen in your short existence.
Rose smiled and slipped the flower in your hand, but not before taking it gently in her own for a second. "There you are, Y/n." Your eyes widened and Rose chuckled. "What's the matter?"
"You know my name?" Rose smirked self assuredly and ran an empty hand through your hair. "Of course I do! I know everything about you. How else did you think I was able to get you here?" Her tone was questioning but hinted on a doting nature.
You pulled away from her, still a little frightened but Rose gently gripped your wrist. "There's no need to be scared, honey. I'm special, like you." You shook your head, thinking back to what your dad said the other week and looked down a little ashamed. "Oh...I-I'm not special." You tried to deny. "Oh yes, you are. You are a very talented little girl."
(You can hear me can't you, sweetie?)
At first a feeling of panic arose inside you but it sooned bubbled over with excitement.
(I thought I was the only one!)
Rose thought about scolding you over how loud your thought came out but let it go because she too knew how happy she felt the first she knew she wasn't alone.
(You are far from the only one, Y/n. There are alot of other special people out there.)
"My friends..my very, very best friends, they're all special like us. I bet you must have friends who are so magical like you." You shook your head. "No?"
"I don't have alot of friends and my family doesn't think I'm special," You pouted. "That's because they're jealous because not all people can be special like us. Besides, I wouldn't worry about them."
"Why?" You asked sweetly. "Because I'm here to take you away from all that. I'm here to give you a family. Don't you want a family, Y/n?"
"I-i already have a family." The look in Rose's eyes scared you. It was possessive and determined. "But they're not really family though. Tell me dear, when the last time you've heard either of your parents say they love you?" You felt a pang of sadness ringing through you. "I-i should get back to my mom." Rose gripped at your wrist again, this time enough to hurt. "No, no..stay a while. See more magic."
You shook your head and struggled. "Just a fresh new start with your real family. You don't remember me and your daddy?" She held your tiny hand in her's. "No.." You said softly but now you started to question yourself. Maybe you did. Pictures of a man with black hair flashed infront of your eyes. "He loves you so much. We love you so much and we want you to come home with us. You want to come home with." For a moment you found yourself taken back by the warmth and you thought maybe it wouldn't be so bad to go with her.
"N-no! I can't. I won't-" Rose shushed you, sending you calming waves that started to make you feel tired and sluggish. "Or maybe I-i do wanna go home." You mumbled hesitantly, still trying to keep some grip on reality. "You do want to go home. You're happy to come home."
Every piece of control you had began to fade and your mind went blank. "I-I'm happy." Your mind finally caved and Rose held her arms open to you and you stepped into them. "Good girl. Sleep well, Y/n.." You went limp in her arms and everything went black around you.
By the next hour, any memories you had of your family would be gone and everything you ever knew would be fabrications Rose made up in your head.
Part 1: The True Knot
The fire at The Knot's campground burned bright in the mix of the setting sun when Rose arrived back at home. She stepped out of the Jeep, slinging your stirring form over her shoulder. "Mhh..wha-what's happening?" Rose shushed you and walked down hill with you. "Nothing. We just got home." There was a pause. "Do you know who I am?"
You had to think about it for a moment. "M-mama?" You asked hesitantly. "Yes," Rose hummed and pressed a kiss to your temple.
You heard the crunching of leaves and turned to see people walking towards you. "Mommy?" You whispered nervously and held onto Rose's floral patterned shirt tightly, still feeling some of the residual emptiness from your true upbringing.
"Shh..it's okay, my sweet. They're family and they're just going to watch you for a few minutes. Mommy has someone she has to address in conversation and then I'll come get you. Okay?"
"O-okay." You nodded and let her hand you off to Silent Sarey as she walked off not to far in the distance to one of the larger size trailers, knocking on it before stepping inside.
"Crow?" He looked up from his copy of 'A Clockwork Orange' with a smile. "Yes, Rosie?" She plopped down in his lap. "I missed you." She kissed his ear, nipping at the cartilage. "How the business deal?"
"A waste of my time." He kissed her forehead. "Well, you were out I didn't waste my time." He raised a brow. "What are you playing at?" She smirked and turned her gaze in the opposite direction. "You can let her in now," She called out loudly.
The door to his trailer swung open and shut and you stepped inside. Crow's face went blank and he put a hand up to his chin. "Rosie, what the hell did you-"
Rose grinned and knelt down to your level. "Come here, Y/n. There's someone important I want you to meet."
You obeyed and approached Rose, letting her scoop you up in her arms. The two lovers exchanged glances but nothing was spoken out loud. "This is your daddy, Y/n."
"Hi." You smiled sweetly and Crow cracked a large grin. "Hi honey...Rosie, can I-" Rose nodded and shifted you over to Crow.
At first you tensed up but the closer you snuggled up to him, the more you relaxed. "My little darling." Rose smiled softly as he kissed the top of your head and rocked you in his arms. "I love you so much."
"I love you too daddy." Crow held you in silence for a few more minutes until he attempted to hand you off to Rose. You gripped onto his shirt tightly and buried your head in his chest. "Don't let me go," You begged. You were still so touch starved and he just felt so warm and kind.
Rose was slightly taken aback. You knew her more than Crow yet you were already attached to him. "I won't, I promise." He maneuvered you that way he was cradling you and he rocked you back and forth.
She felt a pang of jealousy growing inside her, feeling slightly threatened that you seemed to like Crow more than her but she didn't let it bother her too much. She had a feeling you were going to be a mommy's and daddy's girl.
It didn't take long for you to fall asleep, feeling soothed by Crow's presence. "So..are you happy?" Rose asked lowly.
"Very...Rosie?" She made a slight humming noise. "Where'd you find her?" He asked hesitantly. "A little outside the more touristy area of Colorado. The rubes she belonged to are nothing worth writing home about if you catch my drift."
He nodded solemnly. "How-what did you to her to make her-" Her warm grey eyes interlocked with his. "Do you care?" He decided he didn't. Sometimes it was best to not know anything at all.
Part 2: Danny
Your presence in The True Knot did not bring in that much of an increase in steam but you made it much easier to find steamheads which was extremely helpful to Crow in the long run.
No longer did he have to take an extra cannister for himself to find far away steamheads because all he'd have to do is ask you if you felt someone 'special like you,' close by and without knowing any better, you'd always say yes and immediately pointed him in the right direction.
Neither him or Rose let you near the rubes anymore, though. Not that long after Rose brought you home she had you try to lure a little girl over to her but the girl's parents, both big steamheads, knew better.
For you to be gone for a half an hour was normal, maybe even forty five minutes since you were a child after all and barely ever got to see kids your age, let alone like you but an hour was way too long.
What the rubes said or did to you neither Rose or Crow could figure out but the both of them agreed they didn't like the mortified expression on your face or the tears that stained your cheeks afterwards.
The two of them took turns securing their food, that way you wouldn't ever see what exactly it was that they did to your newly made friend but if Crow was being honest with himself, he probably would of admitted somewhere deep down he knew you probably knew the truth of what they did way before he would of liked you to know.
While Rose secured their meal he tried asking you alot of different ways what it was that they said or did to you but you wouldn't say. He let it slide for a while and settled on just comforting you for a while but made sure to bring up again later on when everything was all said and done with their hunt.
"You got to talk to me, Y/n," He tried his hardest to not sound like he was begging as he pulled the covers over your tiny. Rose stood in the corner of the RV and stared as if she was examining everything you said and did.
You shook your head avidly and nuzzled closely to his form. "I can't." He ran his fingers through your hair. "Why not? Honey, you know we're not mad and you're not in trouble."
"Because it would make you and mommy sad and I don't want to make either of you sad." Rose bit down on her lip as Crow thought of a reply. "Baby, you could never-"
"Leave her be, Crow," Rose interrupted. "She's had a long enough of a day and she doesn't need either of us interrogating her. When she's ready to talk about it, she will."
Crow let out a sigh and nodded. "Okay." He shut the light off above your bed and kissed both your cheeks. "Goodnight, sweetheart."
"Night daddy." He ran fingers through your hair one last time before stepping away.
The next morning when you woke up Rose sat across from you on your bed, lazily sipping on her tea. "Good morning, my sweet."
"Morning mommy." She plopped a kiss sloppily into your hair and handed you a cup of tea. "Can I have a little talk with you?" You nodded and set your cup of tea down on the ledge of the window.
You looked Rose deeply in the eyes and she took your tiny hands in her's. "I know you don't want to talk about what happened yesterday but I want you to know that not everything everyone says is necessarily true. You're understanding what I'm getting at?"
You nodded and Rose smiled. "Just know that no matter what, none of us would ever hurt you and we love you. Alright?"
"Okay." Rose reached inside the pocket of her jeans and pulled a necklace with a little crystal obelisk hanging from it. "This was given to me by someone very special a long time ago. You probably wouldn't know, but at one point I felt lonely like you. Maybe a little scared so they gave me this, along with my hat. My hat will always stay with me I think you need this more than I do."
She placed the necklace in your hand. "Whenever you feel, lost, scared, whatever. You squeeze that stone, and that stone will keep you safe. Got it?" You placed the necklace around your neck and nodded. "Thanks mommy." You hugged Rose tightly. "You're welcome, my dearest..I love you so much." She kissed your cheek. "I love you too, mama."
In that moment, Rose didn't care whether you even brought in steam or not. She truly just enjoyed you. It was the first time she could truly say she loved you. The whole Knot really did love you. They would do it all over again with raising you if they could and not change a thing about you or that entire duration of time. Except when they brought you to Florida.
December, 1980:
"Y/n, my love. It's morning." Rose gently shook your shoulders and you groaned. "Why are you all up so early?" You sat up and stretched. "We're going to move camp today." You raised a brow. "This early? I feel like we just got here," You whined sleepily.
"I know but daddy and I have some business to attend to." She ran her fingers through your hair. "You'll like the next place better. It has a pretty lake overlooking it and trees. There's lots of flowers there too." She paused and ran a thumb across your cheek. "We can pick some later if you want." You smiled softly. "I like flowers."
"I know you do, my sweet girl." Rose pulled you into her arms and held you for a few moments, kissing the top of your head. "Go get dressed and say good morning to daddy. He'll get aggravated if I keep asking him if we're ready to move."
You giggled and slid out of her lap. "Okay mama." You placed a tiny kiss on her cheek and picked out a bohemian dress from your dresser that Apron Annie sowed you once Rose gave her word you were the one.
"I don't think daddy could ever get mad at you." You mumbled as you slid the dress over your head. "He loves you alot. He doesn't even have to say it. I can see it in his mind." Rose smiled softly. "Daddy is a very loving man. He loves you alot too." You could tell she was trying to hide something from you and you attempted to get inside her head to figure out what she was thinking but she immediately shut you out.
"Mommy!" You whined. "Sorry sweetie. You're just not old enough yet." Rose ran a quick brush through your hair. "And then when you're old enough, you're not going to want to know." She plopped a kiss on the top of your head. "Now go on."
"Okay," You pouted and stepped outside. You seen Grampa Flick sitting outside on his lawn chair and waved. "Good morning, Grampa."
"Morning, dragă." He held his arms out to give you a hug which you immediately gave him. "Have you seen, papa?"
"His trailer." He pointed to the left. "Thanks Grampa." You kissed his cheeks and walked off in the other direction. You watched Crow fiddle a few of the bottom conpartments on his trailer before saying anything.
"Hi daddy!" Crow turned to look at you and smiled, stopping whatever he was doin. "Hey babe." He scooped you up in his arms and kissed your cheeks, his mustache tickling you slightly. "How'd you sleep?"
"Good. Mama and I cuddled last night so she kept me warm." You smiled happily. "She gives good cuddles, right?"
"The best!" You smiled and nuzzled closely to him. "Daddy, what's that for?" He turned his head to the side. "What's what for, sweetie?"
"That." You pointed to the rope by his feet and he kicked it aside quickly. "Oh..nothing you have to worry about." You furrowed your little brows curiously and he smiled gamely.
Was he trying to trick you or something? Crow chuckled and kissed your cheeks. "I don't have to be in your mind to know what you're thinking." He gently set you down on your feet and knelt down to your level. "We'll tell you when you're older, okay?"
"Okay, daddy." He placed a kiss on your forehead. "Good girl. Anyways-" He ran his fingers through your hair. "What do you need?"
"Mommy wanted to know if we were ready to go. She sent me because she was afraid to ask you. I don't know why though." Crow chuckled and shook his head. "You can tell mommy, I'll be ready in about thirty minutes. Got it?"
"Got it." You skipped away and Crow let out sigh, wondering just how much longer they could hide all this from you til you got too curious for your own good.
The ride to Florida was long and didn't have that much interesting scenery. The roads were long and straight and it didn't take you long to fall asleep in the passenger seat of Rose's colossal RV.
That whole time while she knew you were fast asleep, Rose used her radio system to formulate a plan on how they were going to trap Violet. Normally one of them would stay with you while other went with the rest of the group but this time they couldn't afford to have one of them stay. From what Rose could tell at the time, this kid was big steam all though it wouldn't be til years later it was in fact the wrong child she chose to take within just a few mile radius of each other.
Once you reached the campsite Rose quickly woke you up and informed you she had some business to attend to with Crow. "Y/n, stay inside while I'm out." You let out a groan. "But mama-"
"No buts." Rose knelt down to your level and ran her fingers through your hair. "It won't be that long."
"I don't like being by myself in here though. It's scary," You whined and nuzzled into her. You pointed to the cabinet she kept all the cannisters in. "I hear things in there and it makes me feel small and it's scary."
'And see things too.' You thought but wouldn't dare say outloud. You curled into Rose and she kissed the top of your head. "Hey, it's okay..Nothing can make you feel small unless you really feel small and tell me, what are you Y/n?"
"Tiny but mighty." Rose grinned proudly. "Exactly, so no. You are not afraid. Because I know whatever you hear coming from that cabinet, you can deal with. Right?" You nodded and she ran a hand through your hair. "You still have the necklace I gave you?"
"Yes mama." You squeezed the pendant hanging from your neck. "Good, that'll keep you nice and safe." You nodded and she pressed a kiss against your head, handing you her TV remote. "I'll be back, my flower."
She gave you a slight wave before slamming the door shut behind her. You quickly ran over to her bed and buried yourself under the covers as you turned the TV on.
'Snow White' was playing on one of those channels you were scrolling through and you settled down, snuggling into the blankets. You didn't know how long the movie was on when you felt a cold hand lace their hand on top of yours.
Your blood ran cold and you squeezed your eyes as your open hand squeezed the necklace your mother gave you. "You know, this movie used to be my favorite too when I was a little girl."
You seen the face of a bloodied and clearly beaten woman infront of you and you fell backwards off of Rose's bed. "When I was alive, I thought you were a freak but now I know you're special and I never got the chance to appreciate you, my special girl."
"Please..please, go away." You squeezed the necklace as hard as you could. If you weren't in Rose's possession, you would of known who the woman standing infront of you was automatically but now you hadn't a clue. "Stay safe, my little one." Your real mother bent down to kiss your head and you let out a scream before running as far as you could. "MAMA!!" You shrieked.
Not even 15 minutes later you were farther from Rose than you even were before and The True arrived back to where a majority of their trailers were parked with a hysterical Violet in tow.
"Please let me go! My mommy will be so worried about me. Please, please, please!" She begged. None of them paid her any mind though as they began to bound her. They were so used to the screams and begs by now, it didn't bother them.
"So where are we going after this?" Crow asked, as he threw a couple of items that they would need later to various unoccupied members of The True.
"I don't know. I was thinking maybe Massachusetts, because you know how Y/n loves the snow.." Rose continued to talk as Crow zoned out, putting the left over rope in the storage compartment of his RV. "..She is in your trailer, right?" Rose closed the door to her RV.
Crow furrowed his brows. "Who?" Rose sighed inwardly. "Y/n, Crow Daddy. She is in your trailer, I hope. Because she's not in mine." He closed the compartment and unlocked the door to the trailer. "Let me see."
He walked inside and shut the door behind him, examining the space for you. "Crow, she's there right?" You weren't. A spike of panic rised in him and he ran his fingers through his hair in a frustrated manner, unlocking an almost unconfident reserve on his face. "Uh, yeah..she's in there," He lied through his teeth, desperate to save him and you from Rose's wrath. "Rosie, is it okay if I stop with her really quick to get some fresh air?" He asked. "I don't care what you do. You'll be able to find your way back?"
"Sure." He smiled through gritted teeth even though Rose couldn't see him and silently cursed you underneath his breath. "Okay..tell Y/n, I love her." Rose began to walk off to her RV after making sure Barry had everything with Violet handled.
"I will.." He watched the rest of the caravan leave before getting behind the wheel and closing his eye. "Alright Y/n, let's hope my instincts are good enough."
Meanwhile a few minutes away in driving distance, as you passed the lakeside view Rose told you about, you heard noise coming from the distance and jumped back.
The more you listened though, the more you realized there was mostly children there. You walked up the small hill and watched them for a second. "So many rubes.' You thought to yourself. 'None of them like well..or not?'
You began to feel that same magnetic pull you felt from Rose the first time you encountered her and you found your eyes fixated on a boy sitting by himself.
You felt attached to your family but never did you feel such a connection strangers and you didn't know why. It wouldn't be until years later, you would put two and two together and realize the person infront of you was in fact your soulmate.
Despite your fear of all the rubes around you carefully approached the stranger sitting on the bench, not daring to put your guard down.
"You mind if I sit next to you?" The little boy shook his head and you sat down next to him. "What's your name?"
"..Danny." You smiled. "That's a nice name. I'm Y/n, it's nice to meet you." He didn't say anything back but you didn't mind. Your parents were both mostly laid back but if there was a thing they were big on, it was respect.
"..nice to meet you too. Sorry, I'm just having an off day." You shrugged. "I'm okay. Do you want to talk about it?"
"No..you wouldn't understand." The more you looked at him the more, the more you could tell he wasn't exactly so rube like.
(Is it because of this?)
The boy sitting next to you looked at you blankly. "Danny, I know you can hear me," You said softly. "No..not because of that. Well..maybe a little. She'll just keep coming until she gets me. I don't care what Dick says."
"Who will come and get you?" You asked then blushed. "Sorry, I shouldn't of pried." Dan shrugged dismissively and looked up towards his apartment building and pointed to the bathroom. "The lady in the bathroom."
A decaying woman flashed infront of your eyes and your posture stiffened. "You can see her, right?"
"Yeah, I see her..If it makes you feel better, I see scary things too sometimes." You took his hand in your equally tiny ones. Dan felt the urge to pull away from you but there was this warm element to you that made him feel comforted by you.
"Really?" You nodded solemnly and moved your hand away from his to take a necklace of your neck. It had a little crystal obelisk hanging from the bottom if it. "My mommy gave this to me for when I get scared. If you squeeze the crystal, it's supposed to make you feel safe." He said nothing and you put the obelisk in his hand. "I think you need it more than I do."
"You're sure?" You nodded and for the first time in a while, Danny Torrance actually gave a hint of a smile.
(Thanks, Y/n.)
(You're welcome.)
"Y/n?" You could hear someone calling your name and you turned around. "Y/n, honey?" You looked at Dan. "That's my daddy. I have to go before I get in trouble. Bye Danny."
"Bye." He was a person of very few words but it didn't bother you in the slightest. All you knew was you didn't want your dad to see him. You didn't know what was going on but you knew something wasn't right.
"Y/n?" You sprinted towards him. "Daddy!" You exclaimed. Crow's eyes went wide with relief. "Y/n." Your father pulled you close to him. "Don't you run off like that EVER again. You understand me?" You could see his infrequent temper in his eyes and you were quick to nod. "What the hell were you thinking?"
"I-i-" Crow didn't bother to wait for a response from you before he continued speaking.
"People out here are bad, Y/n. They'd hurt you in a heartbeat." He cupped the sides of your face. "Do you know or did you even think about how upset your mother and I would be if you just disappeared?"
You felt your heart sink and your lips trembled. You knew there was a possibility they might do bad things but that didn't mean you didn't love them because of it. You felt so selfish and cruel. "I-i didn't think about it. I'm sorry daddy.." Your eyes watered as you looked down at the ground and he sighed. "Just don't do it again, got it?" He wiped one of your tears away. "Yes daddy. Y-you're not going to tell mommy, are you?"
Crow kissed your cheeks gently. "No, I won't tell her. I think this can be our little secret. What do you think?" You let out a giggle and Crow smiled. "That's my girl. Come on, let's get you back to the caravan before mom notices we're gone because you know how she gets."
You nodded and held your arms out to Crow who immediately scooped you up. You wrapped your tiny arms around his neck and nuzzled closely to him as he carried you away.
(Y/n?)
You smiled softly as you felt that little ping in your head.
(Yeah, Danny?)
(Am I ever going to see you again?)
You paused before responding.
(Maybe. I hope so because I like you Danny.)
(Me too, Y/n.)
You felt one of Crow's finger poking your shoulder and you pulled yourself out of your thoughts. "Yes, daddy?" You asked. "Did you feel someone steamy?" He whispered in your ear.
You thought about telling the truth but thought of Danny. You only just met him but something deep down told you, you couldn't let him get hurt. Maybe..just maybe, all rubes weren't so bad after all. "No, daddy," You lied.
"You're sure?" He pressed. "I'm sure." Crow sighed and patted your back. It would of been nice to have double the amount of steamheads but he supposed Violet would be enough to sustain them for a while. Besides, beggars couldn't be choosers and he trusted you enough to think you wouldn't lie to him. "Okay, honey.."
The next time you would see Danny Torrance after that fateful December day, would be 26 years later and by that time any bridge you had built with The True Knot would be burned.

Planes - Shawn Mendes
Tumblr media
Summary: Unaware of who the handsome boy seated next to you is, the two of you start talking...
 Part 2, Part 3 __________________________
“The gate to flight CL321 will be closing in 15 minutes, please make your way to the gate as soon as possible, thank you.”
You were late, very late. You were running through the crowds of people at Singapore airport towards the gate for LA with your single suitcase. You were late to the airport in general but the additional hold up at check-ins had completely threw off your plan. Approaching the gate, you saw a massive line up outside the glass door towards the entrance of the plane allowing you to sigh in relief.
The small weekend holiday in Singapore was last minute planned as one of your childhood friends had announced her wedding suddenly. The trip was pretty good overall with the only problem exhibited being almost late to your plane home. You placed your suitcase on the conveyor belt and took out all the items from your pocket, placing them in a tray and walked through the scanner. As you began picking up all your belongings and walking towards the waiting area you noticed the large line-up still outside. However, you were one of the last few passengers that walked in before the gate closed. The line-up outside seemed to consist mainly of teenage girls all holding signs. A few cameras among them.
“Passengers in rows 20-30, please start making your way to the entrance.”
___________
Why am I so far back damn it, counting the rows down to your seat you kept your eyes on the roof of the seats 23, 24, 25, ah got it, 26C. Looking to your empty seat near the aisle and the passenger who was already sat next to you in the middle, you choked. He was handsome. From the depth of his brown eyes, to the gentle expressions of his face. He had tousled dark brown hair which was thick and lustrous.
“Did you want help putting that up?” he asked pointing towards your suitcase while looking back at your staring gaze.
“oh eh-um, no I can do it myself thanks,” you stuttered, gently smiling as you pushed the lever down of the suitcase. Carefully using both hands, you picked up the suitcase and placed it in the storage compartments above. You sat down in your seat, not looking at him and staring only at your hands as you played with them self-consciously. You weren’t sure whether he was looking at you or not but the idea that he could be, made you extremely nervous.
You looked in front and behind as more of the seats filled up and people piled in. Using your chance of looking around you sneaked a glance at the man beside you. His eyes were shut and he had earphones in, clearly unaware of your stare. You mentally sighed, having silently hoped he was paying attention to you before leaning back in your seat.
The flight attendants began making their way around, checking all seatbelts were worn. You assumed that the man next to you had fallen asleep. The flight from Singapore to LA was a night flight and so many other passengers were also sleeping. Apart from the few teenagers listening to music or looking bored next to their parents.
You had been on planes before, constantly travelling to meet people for fun and for work. But you had once been through a terrifying experience with plane turbulence. That experience scared you and you were reminded of it whenever the plane took off or landed due to the sounds of the engine squealing. So when the captain announced take off, you clenched your fists and squeezed your eyes shut, oblivious of the man whose attention was in fact, on you.
_______
You were very conscious of all the small actions and movements you made, making it an exhausting plane flight. Flying from Singapore to LA was driving you insane especially with the flight duration being so long but soon, sleep began to take over you.
The man started talking to you first after he noticed your head drooping from one side to another. He tapped your shoulder very lightly, stirring you up from your sleep.
“Did you want to lean against my shoulder?” He whispered, aware of all the sleeping passengers. You could hardly make out his face in the dark but mumbled a quick thank you, unable to properly process what he said. You felt a hand gently bring your head down against something firm and drifted back into your sleep.
“Good morning ladies and gentleman, in a few minutes the crew will be serving drinks followed by breakfast. Our menu is in the seat pocket in front of you, thank you.”
You opened your eyes slowly to the dim lights turning on. You sat up straight in your seat before remembering what occurred. Quickly glancing over to him to check if he was awake, he was staring at you smiling. Omg what happened. Did I drool? You bought your hand to the sides of your mouth, wiping away anything.
“I-I’m sorry,” you started, not knowing what else you could say. Fuck this is embarrassing.
“My name is Shawn,” he said, extending a hand out to you.
“I’m Y/N,” you said, taking his reached out hand to shake. An awkward silence lingered for a few minutes before he turned his body around to face you better and continued…
“I don't want to sound stuck up or anything but do you by any chance know me?” He cautiously asked, staring intensely at your expression. You thought for a minute, not recalling seeing this man anywhere else.
“Uhh no? Should I?” you asked, just as cautious as him.
“Oh maybe not then, I thought you looked like someone familiar is all.” He says, softly laughing to himself, amused at the situation before another silence looms over. The quietness between the two of you was killing you but you didn't know what to say.
“Soo, are you on your way home or?” he began,
“Yeah I am, I was in Singapore for my friend’s wedding. What about you? Heading home?”
“I have some work stuff in LA to do before I can go home.” He sighs, bringing a hand through his hair.
“Sounds like you're a bit homesick?”
“yeah a little,” he chuckles. Shawn finds the situation amazing that his able to have a conversation with someone and feel so relaxed. He doesn't feel the need to keep a wall up or hide things from you even though you’ve just met. And so the conversation continues. You talk about your favourite movies, vacation places, hobbies and even discuss your favourite pizza toppings.
The cabin crew reach your row for breakfast and offer you a choice of bread or eggs as the main to which you choose bread. The lady places your meal down on your tray and you lean back to allow them to talk to Shawn and the other passenger but they immediately pull out a different place and place it on Shawn’s tray. You stare at his food, slightly confused at his nicely laid out pancakes and fruit on top compared to your butter and bread.
He notices you constantly side eyeing the pancakes as his asking about your holiday and laughs. He picks up a pancake from the tower and places it on your plate.
“O-Oh you don't have to, you probably paid in advance for that,” you ramble, lowkey excited for something sweet.
“It’s okay, I can’t finish it all anyway,” he says, handing you the small jar of honey.
“Thanks.”
The plane flight is only 1/3 of the way through and light is already seeping through the windows. You are slightly tired but don't want to sleep if there’s still a chance of talking more.
“Do you wanna watch a movie?” he asks, pulling out his laptop from underneath the chair in front. “I’ve got like all the best movies downloaded.” You laugh at this instantly remembering his favourite movie.
“Harry potter of course.” You declare.
“definitely” he says, dead serious as he turns his laptop on. You notice the tattoos on his hand as he switches the button on.
“What’s that tattoo?” you ask him, curious of the bird you see on his hand.
“Oh this,” he says looking down, “it’s a swallow. It’s meant to symbolise home. Sailor’s use to get them every time they returned from a voyage.” You let the information sink in and realise something.
“When was the last time you’ve been home then?”
“It’s been a couple of years, work’s really busy.” He says, pulling up the movie on the screen and handing you the right side of the earphones. He adjusts the laptop so its facing you and he leans over to you a little more.
“Ah I see, you must miss your family a lot.”
“Very much,” he mumbles, looking at the side of your face as you stare at the screen.
You were watching the first Harry Potter movie and this was your first time to his surprise. Shawn was constantly commenting on things for you to pick up and laughing to himself at scenes. You couldn't help but laugh at his reactions, he was adorable. You noticed that his eyes would crinkle around the sides when he laughed and it made your heart melt. Once the first movie finished, you went onto the second one, then the third, and so on.
Both of you eventually fell asleep and were awakened to the announcements. “Good evening ladies and gentleman, we will soon be landing, please fasten your seatbelts, close your trays and open your windows. Thank you.”
You feel yourself start to tremble a little as the plane wobbles and drops in altitude.
“Y/N Are you okay?” he asks, noticing you squeeze your eyes shut. “yeah I’m fine,” you manage to say as you try calming yourself, “I’m just not a fan of flying,” You finish. Shawn thinks to himself a little, contemplating whether he should or shouldn't. But he doesn't care in this moment. He grabs your right hand and holds onto it with his, intertwining your fingers together. You look up at him and he smiles.
The plane lands safely and your hands are still linked with his as you shuffle out the seats to bring out your luggage from above. He lets go of your hand to help you bring your suitcase down and places it on the floor before grabbing your hand again. He brings your connected hands into the side pockets of his denim jacket. You smile to yourself, completely immersed in his adorable personality.
The doors of the plane open and he walks ahead of you, still holding your hand as you exit the aircraft. He asks where exactly you live in the city and you make small talk about your favourite places nearby. When you enter the airport he seems a little nervous, scouting the area for something.
“Where are you heading?” You ask, not wanting to part so soon, “did you want help finding your way there?”. You realise it’s almost 1am and you should be heading straight home but the idea of possibly never seeing him again scared you. You wanted to cherish every moment.
“I’m waiting for my manager to call…” he says, pulling his phone out. “Maybe I’ll just call him first,” he mumbles as he dials a number and puts the phone to his ear. You look around the airport while he talks, not paying attention to what he’s saying. The airport was very silent, most people passed out on the chairs in the waiting areas for boarding. You turn towards Shawn when he lets go of your hand and runs it through his hair in distress. “Okay bye.”
“What happened?” you ask, as he begins biting his lip.
“Y/N, I know this is probably very rude to ask but can I stay the night at yours?” He asked.

Blaine sighs inwardly. Now that he's had a good year to lick his wounds and put himself back together, following his divorce from Kurt becoming final, he's been doing some deep thinking.
Specifically, he's been doing some soul-searching, and reflecting on what might have been...and lately his thoughts increasingly seem to be filled with that damn face! The face of the beautiful man he's never been able to fully shake, truth be told.
The impossibly handsome, and yeah - very sexy, man he was once really good friends with. But..were they in fact more than that? Maybe. If Blaine's honest with himself, he knows it was more than just friendship. He always felt so wrong-footed in the best possible way, around him, after all.
Having recently discovered (by way of some sneaky conversations with Jeff and Nick), that Sebastian is definitely single, Blaine wonders - not for the first time, if it might at last be time to properly explore the attraction, insane chemistry and connection, that have always burned so brightly between them. "Carpe Diem, and all that," he mutters to himself.
Is he brave enough though, to venture into the unknown, and perhaps put his heart on the line - again! Only for it to be stomped all over - again, after all these years? But..then again, if he doesn't at least try, he knows he's always going to be wondering, "What if?"
Shivering slightly, and shaking his head to clear it of his own internal warring dialogue, Blaine finally makes a decision - mentally flipping the bird, to all those who've ever called him wishy-washy, and weak-minded.
Reaching for his phone, he taps in the never-forgotten digits. He knows Bas' number hasn't changed. He checked with Nick just yesterday, brushing off his friend's curious questions, by very unsubtly changing the subject. Wincing, Blaine realises he'll probably end up paying for that avoidance, when the truth comes out. "Oh well," he sighs. "I'll just have to cross that bridge when I come to it.!" Right now, he knows he needs to focus.
Blaine holds his breath, waiting for the call to connect. Butterflies flutter around his tummy, as he almost absentmindedly gnaws furiously on his bottom lip - smiling to himself, as he remembers how Sebastian used to relentlessly tease him about the habit, calling it "adorable."
His emerald eyes would sparkle and dance with mischief, and a low chuckle would rumble out of him, as yet another blush crept up to suffuse Blaine's cheeks. Sebastian had always managed to leave Blaine a flustered, stuttering mess..
But in-between the flirtation, non-stop innuendoes, and comments about his ass (that let's face it, were all great for his ego!) Blaine had got to know the real Sebastian very well indeed, and they had become really close. A fact Kurt definitely never quite got over.
Blaine knew very well that behind the trademark smirk, and sarcastically-arched eyebrows, there was so much more to Sebastian. So much more than the lewd, cocky and overconfident boy, that he presented to most of the world..
Blaine knew too, that Sebastian was incredibly quick-witted, kind - in fact he honestly had a heart the size of a small country (although he'd once scowled when Blaine commented on his kindness and generosity, muttering something under his breath, like, "You'll ruin my reputation if anyone hears you say that, Anderson!")
Blaine had just rolled his eyes, and smiled knowingly. Filing the information away in his mind - just in case he ever needed to hold it over Sebastian, for any reason.
Except..when that time did come, Blaine didn't do anything of the kind. He did.. Nothing.. and then.. Well, everything pretty much went to hell in a handbasket!
Yeah, it's definitely not the time to dwell on, or go over those old wounds, he thinks ruefully. Blaine forgave Sebastian for Slushie-Gate years ago, in any case. They were just kids... Back then they all did things that they're less than proud of..
Wanting to put the murky past firmly to the back of his mind, Blaine fondly lets other great memories of his all-too-brief friendship with Sebastian, resurface. For example, the fact that he is a great listener, and can be surprisingly empathetic, despite his often arrogant demeanour.
He also, mind you, has an unerring ability to accurately read people - a trait Blaine came to loathe, and ultimately cursed Sebastian to damnation, for, in due course.. He could read Blaine like a bloody book!
Upon reflection, there were honestly so many things he admired about Sebastian. Blaine really should have held on to that...
Pulling himself somewhat reluctantly back to the present, he's about to hang up - wondering if the interminable delay in Sebastian answering, is The Fates warning him this is a bad idea, when he hears, "Hey, Killer! Long time no speak..."
The warmth of the smooth, familiar, slightly hesitant, voice, instantly soothes Blaine's nerves, making his toes curl pleasurably, as he exhales with relief. Then, a wave of happiness washes over him, and suddenly he knows; it will all be okay. This was a good idea.
Beaming broadly, and seizing his courage in both hands ("Carpe Diem," and all that!) Blaine finally finds his voice; "Yeah.. Way too long, Bas - it's so good to hear your voice!"

Until We Meet Again Ep. 3 Review
Hallo everyone back again with the #UWMA review, at this time we already reach the episode 3.
#UWMAep3 #UntilWeMeetAgain #UntilWeMeetAgainTheSeries #UWMAtheseries
I always fall for @perthppe, my God, he really good at sad scenes. But seeing him like that is hurting me though, hope you never get any bad situation na. I'm happy to see you smile and very energetic doing the campus activities. Once been there but we can't meet. My heart is already yours na. I always pray goodness for you.
Tumblr media
Have you watch this episode? If you haven't yet. Here it is, UWMA Ep. 3 Engsub
Perth as Krit was a best friend of In in the past time. 5 person in a group. They never knew the reason of In's death. Seeing Krit cried like that and knew almost every details about In, Krit seemed to be sad so much, he was the most care friend. For everyone of you who read this, treasure them, keep every friend who are really care about you even it is just a small thing to be concerned. The good friends are them who always care to you no matter what problems or situations you have, know everything about you and accept every weaknesses you have. For me, I don't have this kind of friend yet, them whom I called as bestfriends, they don't know anything about me and never seen so much care to each other so I envy you, In.
Tumblr media
Yes, Dean has been so emotional since yesterday. It was because of you Ai'Win. Look at Team, his cuteness is growing so much. I say don't ever do that pout again while eating. Can't hold my self to pinch them.
Tumblr media
See, even Win's friend noticed something fishy of Win and Team already.
Tumblr media
That trauma is disturbing, poor pharm. It must be very annoying. Yes, of course his trauma doesn't concern any anxiety. He never had any situation which effect him to be stressful. It just come and he never think deeply about this trauma or the cause of it because those dreams were never happen to Pharm in the recent life but will happen with good new scenes to replace those sad dreams.
Anxiety is a kind of condition which make you stressful, worry and scare of something and make you think about it often because it is disturbing you to have unwanted experiences or disagree about somethings. Others caused by anything that make you feel bad. This may lead to a suicidal. So please concern to people who has this kind of situation, may be they are need your help, or please to any of you who experience it, never think that you are alone or useless or no one care about you, you need to love yourself and appreciate your own life, no one care at you but you the one who know yourself so well so you can care yourself as long as you have positive mind and also remember to God, God always care to us even though we are a sinner. I can't believe that I said this but hopefully it helps you, keep on mind, positive thinking, do everything in a good way, sins are for us not other, we are the one who responsible to our own sins. Don't be so sad, I've been this strong to handle everything by myself, of course almost crazy but there are people who I really care, let them be happy, I always love to see people happy even though I'm not. So, don't you think you are alone, let's live our life and enjoy the rest of it. (yet, I'm hoping to fast forward it to the end)
Continue...
Tumblr media
Dean finally got a chance to introduce himself well. What is the purpose of telling him that you are single? Fast man, even it is too fast though asking his number and call it directly to let him know that he can have your number right away. Yim... Smile and have a good dream Ai'Pharm. Hahaha he is so cute.
I don't know how he can imagine Manaow to tell him to flirt in early morning. Lol. Yet, make the chat conversation live like that is kind of cute. We can know Dean's expression while replying Pharm.
Not a bother Ai'Pharm, P'Dean just missing you, that's why he wants to pick you up and go to the campus together. Dean seriously a simple man, he only wanna have an omelet, or it refers to the dream?
Back again, I cannot stop smiling when see Perth here, miss you baby tiger. Little happiness. Good news Love by Chance Season 2 has confirmed to be made. Yay.... My curiosity about TinCan will be answered. And I can see Ae more.
Tumblr media
So, the one who approaching first was In and he was so brave saying that he wanted to hit on Korn. Even his friends were scare at him and we knew that LGBT still an issue back then. Besides, Korn's father was a mafia though. He was so sure that Korn would fall for him. His willpower already that strong since the beginning. He was a kind of person who rule out a problem.
In who couldn't cook even he couldn't make an omelet, now in present time he reincarnate to a person who love cooking and can make any kind of food. Your wish came true.
Tumblr media
Such an early bird man, too eager to meet your wify to be hah? Do people in Thai always be like this, fine with people who likes same gender? Is it because of they are already open with this so everything just feel usual? Some will say he isn't gay but later they get along either become close friend or real boyfriend. Like it is so easy to find one or to be accepted. Here in my country we totally hide it, some are openly proud but well you knew what the mouthes do. Hahaha such an unsupportive environment.
"don't need to be hurry. I can wait" Dean. Nice, positive thing he can be patient. Other thing, you have a purpose, haven't you? Stay long means full fill the empty space. You just know each other and you already dare to pat and fix Pharm's hair. Man... Drama always gives us fast flow. Well sometimes I'm not ready to clearly think, to clear the feeling and to make sure something.
Tumblr media
"we should go "eat"" Pharm. Exactly what I'm thinking but Dean also gives the same question "go eat?" for Thai 'eat' has two meanings; eating something to fill the belly or eat you up on the bed. Dean's question means he thinks dirty than I thought. Pharm already cooked an omelet for you but you still asking, of course eating the food he made not have a f*ck in the morning, well both of your b*ner phase passed right? Don't even think to wake them up, you need to go at 7 AFTER EATING THE FOOD NOT EACH OTHER. LOL. "Before it get cold" Pharm. It is already cold, after waiting you had a shower with those nervous. Do you think it was short? Hell no it must be long waiting which made Dean look around the room.
Tumblr media
This drama always end the episodes with a cry. I never think that the memories are that strong even it just a touch between the spoon-fork on the omelet. But the emotion come so strong like bomb cause him to cry and unconscious. Stressful things, I'll feel uncomfortable at the moment, too much mixing feeling. But Dean is always ready to care him. Sweet. I wanna see them talk each other about the dream. Hurry up, I'm curious but it was the end of the episode 3.
Waiting again... A week.... Hmm... I'm haven't seen the #TharnTypeEp8 though because people's comments were so emotional about it. Too much feeling every week. I need to calm down... Hahaha
Okay then.... See you again.
