OH, I WANNA HAVE HIM BESIDE ME ON THE 25TH — KATSUKI BAKUGO (652 w.c)

SYNOPSIS — a teaser for an upcoming december series i'm working on; it's the first day of december and you and your lovely boyfriend decide to decorate for christmas around your apartment, when he gets a certain call and you have to talk to him about a few things

CONTENT — being left on a cliffhanger, cheesy lovers, romance, christmas talk, suspension, talking about the future, the both of you love the holiday season in this context

"katsuki! can you help me put the stickers on the window up top?" you called out to your blonde ball of firey passion who was oh so comfortably in the kitchen with your matching christmas pajamas brewing up some hot chocolate for the both of you as he hears your voice and gets pulled out of his little humming trance. "yes bitch? could i get a 'please' with that by any chance?" he asked, placing your mugs down on the counter to walk over to you and the window before picking up some of the stickers and glancing to you. "seriously, babe, what's the matter? i thought you loved this time of year. it's the first day of your favorite month, lighten up." he muttered with a small shake of his head. you frowned and put a hand on his head, ruffling his hair as he worked on the window, "katsuki i do love this time of year, you know i do. but i just have this feeling in my stomach that something might come up and get between us you know? i don't know how to explain it but i'm sure it's just me thinking too much into things. should the snowflake go in the middle or off to the side?" you asked as you swung yourself into his arms. he chuckled at your recent action before focusing back on the window and sighing happily. "what are you talking about baby? i already put them all up, see." he announced proudly as you hazily gazed at him. "it looks lovely, katsuki. you still have those tickets for the ice skating rink right? today's a perfect day to go." you said, snapping out of your overthinking funk to hop out of his arms just to toddle off to fetch both of your skates. katsuki nodded in agreement, while you happily fixed up your skates he went to finish up your drinks and once he was finished he wrapped your cup up in a small towel to keep it from burning your hand as he handed it to you. you put the skates down and took a sip in sync with him, after your sip you put the drinks back down onto the table and shared a passionate kiss which got broken when katsuki's phone loudly rang from across the room. "i'm sorry, let me go see who this asshole is so i can put my boot up their ass for interrupting us. especially on my day off." he said, rolling his eyes as he swiped his phone and put the phone to his ear. you both sat there for a minute on the sofa, silence only being broken whenever katsuki would tiredly say "yeah" or "mhm" or something like that until he hung up the phone and sunk into where he was sitting. "babe, please don't be upset when i tell you this but they're trying to put me to work during christmas." he said, making you place your hand on his chest and sigh. "seriously..? why can't we ever have any holidays together?" you asked, cuddling into him as he rubbed your forehead with his thumb. "it'll be okay sweetheart, don't worry." katsuki said as he picked you up in his arms after standing up. he took you to your shared bedroom and placed you on the bed where you sighed and laid yourself in the middle. "katsi, i really wanna be with you on christmas. just please, can i maybe ask them? i'll just ask if you can at least take the 24th off, they can have someone else fill in for you i'm sure! i just wanna spend the 25th with you." you begged, katsuki ended up sitting next to you and rubbing your stomach while you rambled. "baby, why don't we go for a walk and save the skating for another day? we should talk about some things.."
