You first met him as Morax, a little child dragon you grew up discreetly meeting at a very convenient time of your day, never knowing what's stored for the two of you.

He first met you as Y/N who resides at the countryside near Mt. Tianheng in hopes to find new things to discover across the vast lands of Teyvat. And he did. He found you.

Young Morax found you crouched under an oak tree, the wind flowing with your otherworldly voice, enrapturing him in blissful comfort.

Perched in the tree branch, he listens intently and let himself melt in your grace. It wasn't the first time he finds you warbling a melodic tune, and each time he comes back to hear more from you, it's always a different song and it wouldn't cease to amaze him how much ditty you know.

He lost count on how often he'd fall asleep with your voice lulling him and wakes up feeling empty as the epilogue of his day is always spent without your presence.

Sometimes he wonders if you know he has been watching you, and if you do, why aren't you approaching him? No matter, young Morax doesn't intend to befriend with you.

But then one day...

"Hello! You must be the boy who likes to hear me sing by the tree."

He was caught red handed, perhaps he became distracted that he didn't realize he's been shamelessly stalking you. He couldn't stop his curiosity to follow you in your way home.

Not only he's been spying on you, now he sounds like a stalker. But you didn't suspect, there wasn't anything to be suspicious of anyway.

"H-Huh? H-How did you know?" He gotta commend you for your keen senses. He's the Dragon between the two of you, which means he's supposed to be the one who has sharper senses.

"You must be good at anything but hiding. I have known you've been following me, but I never get to see you up close, you're really majestic looking, by the way." You chuckled as his poor attempt of masking his flushed face at your compliment.

"I don't mind your company, in fact, I want to be friends with you."

Friends. What a foreign concept for young Morax.

He has heard of that term, it's common among mortals, but he's not a mortal. Does this 'friend' term stretches to immortals like him as well? If so, then he has no reason to refuse.

Says the person who one minute ago thought of every alternative ways to stay out of your way.

He was skeptical at your optimism, most mortals would be astounded at his appearance and try to persuade him to spill whatever secrets he has, but as he got to know you better, he was a bit guilty to categorize you as one of them.

His horns and inhumane features? Young Morax found out you're only fascinated by his unique physical looks. And never doubted it.

"Cool! You have horns just like our boars, where did you get those? Can I touch them?"

"Did you just compare my horns to a pig? Pigs don't even have horns! How disgraceful!"

The sparkle in your eyes quickly died down as it came, and the young Morax feels tight in his chest just seeing your smile turns into a frown. You insulted his pride though!

You mumbled a meek apology but still kept your sheepish smile, a glimmer of hope that one day he'd let you do it.

The next days were spent by you sneaking out your house every midnight to meet up with the dragon, Morax. He's slightly skittish, oddly resembling him that of a cat, which is cute.

You probably shouldn't be calling a literal Dragon cute, legends depicted them as tyrannical creatures who seek treasures.

Ah! Classic children's story to scare the kids away at night, it did affect you in some way.

But you can't help it when he would eagerly look at you whenever he asks you to sing him a song.

You'd sit side by side under the tree, you have to admit he'd either falls asleep amidst your song or asks you for the lyrics so he can sing it to himself too.

You even dedicated a song that lets a certain flower bloom.

"Glaze Lily? What's that?" Young Morax asked with tilted head.

A smile outstretched your lips, "Beautiful, right? It transforms the memories of the land into its fragrance during florescence."

"Really?! Is that why you're always out in the dark?" You chuckled sheepishly, feigning ignorance, "Don't know what you're talking."

You got to know each other, held hands like innocent children, share what little knowledge your pea sized brain can, hug whenever one seeks comfort, eat under the glistening sun.

Morax is... a sensitive individual, albeit rough around the edges, but he's young and still learning, and you're unbelievably patient with his attitude— a quirk from you that he greatly appreciates.

From that, young Morax grew fond of you and it isn't one sided.

He flies by the same tree and gives you random things he finds magnificent, whether it could be a rock he found by the lake or a rare item that no one has ever discovered before.

Well, the legend wasn't lying about Dragons and treasure, for sure

You'd laugh at the strangest things he discovers but accepted them nonetheless. Every object he gives you is worth something.

This has been part of your routine for days, weeks, months, even years maybe. You don't know how much time has gone by whenever you're with him and you never bothered to count.

Before you know it, the two of you are almost in young adulthood, he grew up to be a fine man, much unlike you were expecting. Nothing changed from your friendship, until now.

You were taken by surprise when he suddenly blurted out one day

"I want to show you what I see from up there one day, Y/N."

He gazes at you much differently when he looks at you when you were younger. There's a glint of promise in his eyes that you can't pinpoint, it sent shivers all over your nerves.

"You can just fly me up there, Morax. I'm sure I'm not heavy." You muster a smile in an attempt to ease your quickening heartbeats.

He never gave a reply, he only stared at you so intensely that it feels like he's poking your deepest and innermost thoughts.

The way he stares at you never fails to summon the tickling butterflies in your stomach and the blood on your cheeks. You merely regarded that as your hormones, anyone would be flustered if someone they're close to stare at them like that.

You should've known better that nothing in your world stays permanent. The only thing you remember after that day was his twisted look of desperation to keep you alive and tear stained amber dyes trying to get the last image of you in his memories.

"N-No... Y/N please stay with me. D-Don't leave m-me just yet." It hurts you more than the numbing pain in your abdomen to see him broke down like a cornered prey. So helpless and vulnerable.

"I-I'll always be w-with you, Morax..."

So cruel, just when you've begun to realize the burgeoning feelings you have for the Dragon, fate took you away before you have the chance to confess.

Should you be selfish to confess your feelings to him? If you do, it seems like you'll be punishing him an endless torture ahead, and you would never wish Morax to suffer for eternity.

You only smiled and caressed his horns, even in your deathbed you're glad you died in the arms of the man you ever loved.

At the last moment, you heard the anguished wail erupts from his throat as he clutches your form closer, begging and crying for you to come back, to not leave him like this, that he needed you, that he loves you. His pleas fell on deaf ears, for you weren’t there to hear him anymore.

But it became clear to you that he reciprocated your love.

It came a shocking twist when you opened your eyes you can hear multiple cooing sounds from around you. Didn't I die in his arms? Where am I? Turns out, you were reborn. But not as Y/N anymore and you were given a surname.

Unfortunately, the Celestia isn't so forgiving. You were suffering from an unknown illness that took away your second life at such a young age.

You trained hard and learned martial arts in your third life as you were born from a family whose tradition is to produce well-trained warriors in the future.

Fourth to eight life came by like a blur, there were times when you get to lived as an innocent child only for it to be ripped away a few years later with your past memories resurfacing.

You stopped counting after it hits a dozen, born in different class, society and unnamed nation. There's no point of it.

All you want is to look for Morax, but will he remember you? Will he even recognize you as Y/N? You're no longer the kid he grew fond of. No, you're much different than before.

You were at the sidelines, watching as the war unfold, keeping tabs on Morax's allies and eradicating whatever threat they face.

That's when you came across the stunning Goddess Guizhong, the Ruler of Clouds, Goddess of Dust. A very close companion of Morax whom he met at the Guili Assembly along with the others.

She's capable and quick-witted, a type of peculiar person Morax wouldn't hesitate to be friends with.

As of the moment, a claymore is alarmingly closing its gap towards her, ready to slice her open.

Then you heard him scream, a cry of a man who's about to lose everything he has gained of.

That cry sent flashbacks of his tear-stained cheeks. No, you don't want to see him like that again! You'd do anything to chase away that vulnerable image of Morax, he deserves happiness and love.

Your feet went autopilot and swept away the Goddess out of the way, severing your lower limbs in the process and instantly killing you. Your eyes opened and you have started your new life.

Was Morax relieve that Guizhong lived? Did he wonder why a stranger would save her? Did he ever ask who you were? Did he... recognize you at the very least?

Your new parents panicked as they tried to appease the crying infant in their arms. Unbeknownst to your pained heart.

You saw for a brief moment before your demise how Guizhong's plausible absence will affect him. He will mourn her death as much as he lamented yours. For decades or centuries, you know he has been scarred by your passing.

You don't want him to go through that again. It's a different pain you feel when you see him tearing up, you rather get minced by a claymore than to watch him break down.

He garnered the reputation of a tyrant— but you knew better that Morax grew up with compassionate heart, he appreciates anyone no matter how insignificant they think they are.

Which is why you hold yourself from meeting him. He may not remember you, but he will certainly get attached to you once you had your way to his heart.

And a dragon who can outlive you in any lives will only suffer more from your death.

You dedicated your lives in living peacefully, learning history and new things as humanity evolves.

You vow to never fall in love if it isn't Morax you'll spend your mortal life with.

Even if he has someone he can fall in love with.

"Have you heard about the land Lord Morax and Lady Guizhong are building in Mt. Tianheng?" Gossips are everywhere about the infamous partners who survived the Archon War, there's no mouth that has not utter their names, and you're no exception.

A grin spreads over your lips as you sip your tea with elegance, "I've heard, I haven't seen them in person but the rumors about them guaranteed they're ambitious people with good hearts."

This has been a hobby you never knew; praising Morax to elate people's opinion about him. It's your small contribution to his flourishing nation.

You want people to love and respect Morax dearly just as you loved him in your childhood.

You prayed to the new Archons for Morax to find someone he can love and lean on. Someone that can be his source of strength to keep living. Someone much better than leaving him with death.

Now that he found someone he can be with, your goal in your next lives is to protect Liyue's history.

From the names of ancient relics and objects, war waged by the Gods, Nations that were built underneath the once blood soaked lands, fallen heroes who are forgotten— you know all of them. You're openly willing to offer tutelage to the inquisitive.

You sighed at the thought, it certainly will be lonely in your part. Immortal gods can still die— a death in which they'd leave their memories behind and start anew. Morax will eventually cease to existence with lovable Nation and Guizhong to remember him.

And you? Countless past lives yet you never found true happiness, and none of them was worth to remember for anyone.

Part of you feels happy for Morax finally moving on from your death eons ago, but you're still human so you're susceptible to those horrible impulses of bitterness at a basic level.

But you don't want to be a person who looks at Guizhong with jaundiced eyes just because you couldn't have Morax, so you suck it up and move on the fact Morax is in love with another.

At least my sacrifice isn't a total waste.

"Aren't they? I've met Lady Guizhong, she's such a beautiful and soft spoken woman. She and the Lord of Geo are a perfect match. I wish the two of them eternal blessings."

A tug at your heart left an unpleasant feeling, your brain tried to reason that at least he's with someone that'll love him more than you did. That can appease your bitter aching heart a bit.

How ironic. You built a nation where you first met me.

And showed her what you can see up there like you promised me.

Is that how you honor my death, Morax?

"Wow! You sure do know many things, Y/N!" The floating emergency food expressed her awe in your display of knowledge and the traveller couldn't agree more with her, "She's right, you never cease to surprise us."

Their exclaims were followed by your enchanting laugh, "I'm glad I can be at your service, Honory Knight."

You were simply ethereal to look at, you maybe a mortal like the traveller but the Blondie thinks otherwise.

Paimon and her travelling buddy met you by the Starnach Cliff when they were attempting to subdue Dvalin. Jean and Diluc already know you're part of the Adventurer's Guild as you often visit Mondstadt from time to time.

They didn't expect you to join them in their excursion in Stormterror's Lair, it turns out you're a great addition to the team.

You befriended with the traveller after the whole Stormterror fiasco and catch up with Kaeya.

You don't stand out the most in the crowd, you can blend in with everyone and no one would acknowledge your existence. But the traveller can sense the weight of the wisdom you withhold.

It almost feels like you're one of the Seven...

"Is there something else I can help you with, Traveller?"

"Huh?! Oh... I— Uhh... You've been telling us stories and fun facts about Mondstadt. If you don't mind, can you tell us about Liyue?"

For an ephemeral moment, the traveller saw your facade crumbles and slowly morphed into a nostalgic expression.

"Hmm. I'll tell you a quick introduction. Liyue is built in Mt. Tianheng after the Lord of Geo attained one of seven seats, unlike the Anemo Archon who's known to not show himself, he descends down once a year to give blessings to the people of Liyue."

"He sounds a lot more of a decent God than Tone-Deaf Bard."

Her statement elicited a quiet snicker from you, "I'll be off then, I'll see you around soon." Paimon's expression deflated, "You're not coming with us?"

You shake your head, "I'll visit you when I can, until then I hope for your safe travels."

You forced a smile and took a different path from the traveller, as their figures disappear in the horizon, you felt your smile slip up as the sun whisks past the mountains turning to dusk.

Solitude in the dark has been part of your daily routine, you come and go whenever you feel like it, not knowing when to return.

The excuse you told to Paimon isn't entirely a lie, you couldn't bring yourself to go in Liyue when there's active Fatui agents scattered around the vicinity.

Let's just say you're not in good terms with the Fatui. Who isn't?

Nevertheless, whatever curse you have continued to persist in your thousandth life. You roamed around Teyvat and tell stories that even historians don't know.

Repeated lives were lived by just you traversing in each corners of Teyvat that even Archons never knew it existed.

Along the way, you've come terms with your feelings and settled it down like a dormant volcano. Morax is your first love, you enjoyed reminiscing the memories you made with him, you keep those memories locked up in the depths of your mind and often recount them in particular leisure time of the day.

You still love him, and you'll always be by his side whenever he needs a helping hand, but enough is enough, you've suffered enough to your own idiocy and fears. It's time to move on.

Morax continued to strive forward because he has changed, for the better of course. If you want to continue living the next lives of yours then you need to change too.

You met new friends and companions that you begin to trust and have fun with, the traveller and the emergency food included. It wasn't lonely as you thought it would be.

Sometimes you wonder why do you have such curse bestowed upon you. Did the Celestia punish you for a crime? Did you touch a forbidden relic in your first life? Is there a way to get rid of it?

You stopped in your tracks and you gaze up in the sky.

Am I the only one with such curse?

Damn, you really need to get your priorities straight when you have so many unanswered questions.

Basking the remnants of the ever glowing star, you turn around to walk the path that leads you to the Land of Eternity.

A new journey awaits you as you skid through the mycelium path.

What a year starting with the news of a tragic death of an Archon.

Fret not Liyue citizens, Rex Lapis assumed the form of Zhongli as a consultant in the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. In all honesty, he thinks you would facepalm on how poorly delivered that news was.

There were too many sacrifices he made just to achieve such title and godly powers. It's uncountable.

Whenever he strolls down the streets of Liyue, there's never a day that he is not reminded of the fact Mt. Tianheng is the very foundation of Liyue. It serves as a reminder that you are his pillar when intrusive thoughts start to linger in his mind.

Oftentimes, your face is only a blur in his memory, no matter what he does he can't seem to remember your face, but your name has been engraved on his mind for eons.

He misses hearing the sound of your name leaving his lips. He misses how ignorant you both were to the world's suffering. He misses your mesmerizing voice that lulls him to sleep.

Whoever fellow Archon listening to his complex thoughts must have heard him and granted his not-so-impossible wish.

"Hey look. Doesn't that sound like a story Y/N has told us before?" A child(e)— no, a floating fae pointed at the storyteller.

But Zhongli couldn't care less about whoever she was pointing. Did he hear her right? Was it just his ears deceiving him?

Y/N... that's your name.

That's the name he longed to hear again.

"Oh yeah, Y/N mentioned they'll be visiting Liyue soon, Mr. Zhongli." The Traveler quipped, assessing the abrupt change of emotions on the consultant's face at the mention of your name.

Paimon and her travelling buddy can't help to wonder if you two are acquaintances, or perhaps something more than that. Zhongli seems to be expecting your arrival from now on.

"Is that so? Thank you for informing me, Traveler. I shall see to it that their stay will be comfortable." He smiled.

Stay in what? In the Funeral Parlor? The Traveler sweat drop while Paimon is tempted to point out that's Verr Goldet's job. Good thing their companion put a hand on her mouth and excuse themselves

There's no time to stall! He thought.

He's determined to check it himself, it can go two ways and Zhongli won't be petulant of the result.

Archons forbid if he ever finds you, because he will not let you go.

a/n: thank you again for the req dear, this def isn’t my best work but i hope it’s alright T-T for all my instrument players out there, you have such a beautiful gift <3 stay strong!

tick. tick. tick. the never ending metronome placed atop your piano was beginning to get on your very last nerve. although, you were sure any other person would go just as insane after hearing the repetitive clicking for a wonderful four hours straight.

now, it wasn’t your will that drove you to sit in front of the instrument for this long— definitely not. it was all due to the big recital being held next week, in which you’d be performing in front of hundreds of other music majors and professionals who would be giving you a score all based on how you played one, singular song.

just the thought of playing in front of so many people while also being scored made your fingers tremble, but it wasn’t like you had a choice in this. it was your decision to become a music major, and while it was usually a decent experience, there were countless struggles and downsides not just physically, but mentally as well.

through the reflection of your piano, you can barely make out your dishevelled appearance. you reach up from the piano stool to put the metronome’s voice to an end with a frustrated sigh, running your fingers through your hair in a desperate attempt to look even half sane.

maybe i’ve taken the wrong path. why did i think being a music major would get me anywhere when my heart starts racing at even the thought of performing in front of others? it’s been four hours, yet i still haven’t perfected this song from start to finish.

“geez, i’m pathetic.” you grit your teeth, resting your elbows down on the piano keys and ignoring the mocking sound of the instrument being strung together from the contact.

for a while, you just stay like that, continuing to think negatively before you could make any effort to stop yourself. a few tears try to fall along the way, but you stubbornly wipe them off before they get the chance to escape.

you don’t know how long it’s been, but eventually the sound of a key carefully jingling at the front door makes you lift your head. a familiar boy with raven hair tiptoes through the doorway, silently kicking off his shoes and unzipping his black woolly coat. you recognise the dimple pressed into his cheek anywhere, a small smile creeping up your face just from watching your boyfriend unwind after a long night of dance practise.

it was so calming, so peaceful to see jungwon from this point of view. despite just finishing up hours of exhausting choreography, he looked ethereal with a few curly bangs stuck to his forehead, a hint of under eye bags only making his boba eyes look larger.

right as jungwon finishes hanging up his jacket by the door, your elbow subconsciously slides over to the next untouched key of the piano, making an alarmingly loud note spring from the instrument. you flinch in surprise, similar to your boyfriend who had practically jumped in the air like a cat at the sound.

his bangs fly from his face due to how fast he looks to your direction, reaching a hand up to his chest in relief once he sees your figure at the piano. “wah, that was like a horror movie,” jungwon breathes, giggling faintly, “jagiya, what are you doing there? it’s past midnight.”

your smile fades slightly at the reminder of what you’ve been doing for the past four hours, refusing to meet the boy’s eyes as he trudged over to you.

even with his smiley exterior, it’s easy to tell how tired jungwon is; his body screams for a break in the way his posture sludges, and how his feet drag against the floor wearily. nonetheless, he shows his best self for you, cheerfully nudging you over to make room for himself on the stool.

you speak up nervously, avoiding the question just as your boyfriend pulls you up and into his lap. “won, we should go sleep. you need to rest.”

“oh, do i now?” jungwon fires back, resting his chin on your shoulder to inspect the sheet of music on the instrument’s shelf. “but you don’t, miss piano player at nearly one in the morning?”

you lick your lips, leaning your head to rest on top of his. jungwon had so much on his plate at every point of the day. being the leader of his group was fatiguing to say the least, and placing your stress onto him made you feel sick with guilt every time.

yet, not one day went by where he didn’t reassure you that he didn’t mind — that if anything, he wanted to know everything you were worried about, no matter how deep or upsetting it may be.

silently, the boy inspects your face and body language, rubbing the sides of your waist with utter care and gentleness. “hey,” he murmurs. you hum in response, busy staring off at the ceiling with a slight pout. “y/n, talk to me. why are you not in bed?”

you gulp, adjusting your position in his lap. eventually, you knew he’d find a way to persuade you into telling him, you might as well be honest. “i was practising for my recital.”

jungwon pauses his rubbing on your sides, brows furrowing. “isn’t that next week?” you simply nod, making his face drop further. “then you have lots of time, jagi. and if you don’t get enough sleep, you’re never going to be able to learn it properly.”

at that, you chew your lip anxiously. “i know, i know- it’s just..” you look at the boy for a split second, watching him nod in gesture for you to continue. “i’m.. i’m so scared. you know how i get playing in front of others— i freak out, and this time it’s a big performance y’know? i-i just wanna do good.”

jungwon quickly scoops up your hand in his own, rubbing your knuckles with a kiss to your cheek. “you do know that i’m gonna be there cheering you on right? i already got front row tickets. oh and — i tried to stop them, but they wouldn’t give it up so — the rest of the members are coming too.” you smile brightly at the thought of your boyfriend and his bandmates all coming to watch you, giggling quietly.

when jungwon notices your laughter, he grins proudly before continuing. “there’s no need to be scared jagi, i know you’re going to do amazing with how hard you’re always working. just try to imagine how you practise in front of me here at home. focus only on the keys in front of you, pretend it’s just us two in that recital room.”

at his comforting advice, you nod. you may not be the best at showing your appreciation, but hopefully jungwon gets the message from the way you gently turn over to push your lips to his.

your boyfriend catches on to the song immediately, gasping as you continue moving your fingers up and down the instrument with passion. “you learned our song!?” he exclaims excitedly, the thought of going to bed completely forgotten. you glance back to meet his love struck gaze, laughing at his dumbfounded expression.

“yup, the chords weren’t very hard.” the both of you seem to have forgotten what time it is, much too busy having a mini concert for yourselves.

jungwon quickly began singing along while you played, his angelic voice blessing your ears from behind. “it’s like a polaroid love, 사랑 촌스런 그 감정, 근데 내 가슴이 뛰어 왜 나 이래 나~”

by the end of the night, you found yourself beaming in jungwon’s arms. his eyes sparkled beautifully while he sang right by your ear, squeezing your waist tighter as you conducted your instrument.

suddenly, the thought of your upcoming recital didn’t seem bad anymore, for as long as you had jungwon cheering you on, you were sure you could sit at the piano for the rest of your life.

"Uhh Finn, Love?" Your voice caught him off guard. He was trying to pop a peek at your phones music

"Yeah Love?" He said, snapping his head up to look at you.

"What're you doing? You're never usually in the kitchen when I do this kinda stuff." You remarked

Then your favorite song came on, uh oh..

Finn was your favorite of your boyfriends. So this wasn't good... if Damian heard this.. a fight would ensue.

So you fought yourself to not sing. But quickly failed as soon as the lyrics started

"Think I only want one number in my phone." You sang with the song

"Said you like my eyes and you like to make em roll" You sang, hoping they couldn't hear you.

"Who's fuckin' singing?" Damian questioned.

"I.. t-think it's Y-Y/N..." Finn said with a shaky breath

You continued to sing the song, but you stopped after the first few lyrics since you heard the boys fighting and had to go break it up again.

"So who were you fuckin' singing about?" Damian asked

"Calm down hun.. it's just my favorite song by Sabrina Carpenter." You protested.

Damian persisted and failed. Cause where he find himself now? Tied to the bed posts. As was Finn. Damian was fighting to get out of the restraints but failed.

You looked at him blankly.

"What's Wrong? Did the mouse get trapped by the cat?" You teased

"Fuck you!" Damian spat

"You'll have to earn it first big boy." You smiled cheekily

"Um.. Ma'am can I be let go a minute? I need to go to the bathroom." Finn spoke

You undid the ties so he could get up.

Damian also knew at that moment. He was done for. Since you were called Ma'am, which was only used when you were in Brat tamer mode.

This was going to be a fun night...

Finn came back and got his ties back..

And here was when it started. The boys.. mainly Damian had to suffer.

"You want your release.. you gotta beg for it." You said coldly

"F-fuck.." Damian's Breath hitched in his throat when he heard you say that.

"That's a good boy!" You said

"Now keep begging and maybe I'll let you cum." You spoke

Finn on the other hand, while you fucked yourself silly on Damian's dick. You almost had the little touch starved Demon beside him down in seconds.

Finn was literally whimpering and crying for his release. So you pulled away from Damian for a solid minute to appease Finn.

As soon as he finished, he wanted to fall asleep. But you offered a light tap to his shoulder..

You'd been quite literally fucking both. Boys dumb at that point. It was 4:21am. They'd been whining and crying all night.

SPOILER REVIEW FOR THE MARVELS

Just got back from the theater, watched it with @that-coolllama and my mom :D

This is all over the place but I'll try to keep it concise.

Let me start off things by saying I didn't have the biggest expectations from this movie. After watching it definitely exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it!

[ But TL;DR Plot Characters, and Comedy were awesome. Couple of Scenes could have added stuff and been a bit better. 8.5/10 ]

Okay actual Review and Spoilers after the cut 👇

Things I liked!:

-I really liked the scene where Carol and Monica were attracted to the light like moths. That was really cool ,they just couldn't stop themselves from getting closer and touching it, human nature.

-Goose was so cute in the beginning! SHE HAD BABIES which was fun. 27 I think. That scene that the kittens were eating all the ppl, hilarious.

-Kamala's family was a nice touch and were supportive, but didn't get in the way. Which was great :D Their duologue was natural.

-The beginning with Kamala's drawings was so fun!

-THE SINGING PLANET AND THE FACT THAT SHES MARRIED AND HER DRESSS AHHHHHHHH CAPTAIN MARVEL IS A PRINCESS?? is this based off something in the Comics? I need to see that. That world is cool and super creative. The universe is vast! Costume And Dance coordinators worked real hard you can tell!

-FIGHT SCENES UGH THE FIGHT SCENES. They were really good and well coordinated. I thought it would be confusing but it wasn't :O. Especially after the training montage 💪

-The 3 Marvel Gals had awesome chemistry! All the dialogue felt so natural between them.

-Monica's Mom dying during the Blip is heartbreaking. Also seeing the background of the hospital in CHAOS was super interesting. I'm glad it is shown that the Blip had an effect on people's lives and not just. "a thing that happened oh well". Kinda reminds me of in Multiverese of Madness that guy tells Dr.Stange that his cat and brother died while he was blipped.

-The Skrull history is so heartbreaking. The Skrull REALLY can't catch a break huh :/ but it does create good world building & is interesting.

-THE END CREDIT SCENE THAT KAMALA IS ASSEMBING A YOUNG ANVENGERS TEAM?! AHHHH !!!!!

The Girl and Boy Vision (tho I don't think that would work in the MCU but who knows. Wanda is obviously alive and idk Visons could have backups or smth like that)

⭐ AND BRUNO CAN BE THE GUY IN THE CHAIR INVENTING STUFF

-The way the Kree Leader Villain just... disintegrated was crazy. Speaking of her, she was a pretty alright antagonist. I wouldn't go as far as to say that she was a villain since she was doing all this for a pretty good reason. Not that what she was doing was right, but from her perspective I understood where she was coming from.

Things I didn't like/could have used touch up:

-The Special Effects were actual great and I didn't see any problem with it! except the scene where Monica and Kamala are falling in the sky. Other than that they were good throughout!

-Carol - "I caused a Civil War, the decay of a planet, and the Skrull their Home"

Monica- " It's okay, we're family"

LIKE GIRL NO IT IS NOT. okay actually I forgot why the AI was bad so maybe it was worth it but still ;-;

-Out of all the sacrifices that one was a bitttt anti climactic. I think maybe the scene just suffered from being too short. Kamala and Carol should have been shown to react more. Still, was a pretty good sacrifice </3

-Definitely could have been longer. my brother mentioned how the ending kinda feels like a much of cut scenes just Frankenstein-ed together. And yeah and does kinda feel that way.

-Some things I would have loved to see-

Like WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT SINGING PLANTET?!!?!??

Another scene of Goose and her kittens would have been nice.

On the singing planet Carol was like " we need new clothes" and the Prince is like "k" and they just show up with new clothes? Like we didn't see them react to it or anything -_-. C'mon Kamala loving her boots would be such an easy comic book callback.

Kamala calling Bruno and Nakia. Like they were not mentioned once! T_T KAMALA YOU CAN'T FORGET WHERE U CAME FROM.

This may be that I haven't seen ALL the MCU stuff but where did the Skull go? If they have a home now are there Skull on Earth. WHY WASN'T ANYTHING FROM SECRET INVASION MENTIONED.

-Anyways-

-That X-Men End Scene. .... uh ... very interesting to say the least. I have not consumed ANY X-Men content but like to have them in a different timeline than the main MCU is a lil lame, but go off. Idk I'd like to hear the thoughts of anyone who has seen X-Men content.

Overall, I think the comedy, characters, & world building all fit perfectly.

A 8.5/10 movie for me. Can't wait to rewatch it!!!!!

Life's New Adventures and Secrets

Chapter 28

~~~~~~~~~~

Bumblebee sighed as he looked at the movie list, "Why does this have to be hard? I've fought Decepticons and helped save the planet and this is what gets me stumped," he muttered.

"How about Oliver and Company for the sparklings?" Fixit suggests.

Bumblebee looked at the cover, "Isn't that based on the book called Oliver?"

"Yes, made for kids."

Looking at the cover he could see several dogs and a cat on a taxi, with a creepy human in the background, "You sure it's made for kids?"

"Pretty sure. It's from Disney the most popular kids movie making company on this planet."

"Wasn't the last movie made by Disney?"

"Yep, and they have some good movies for children and adults," Metalsound chipped in.

"Hey, Metalsound. How are you doing?" Bumblebee inquires.

"I'm awesome. Having trouble picking a movie?"

"Yeah, I suggested Oliver and Company but the lieutenant doesn't seem to like it."

"It's a good movie, trust me. I've seen it so many times that I've lost count."

"I don't know."

"Why do you not like it?"

"Because it's based on that book Oliver and I've read that book, the story just doesn't seem like something for kids."

"The Lion King was based on Hamlet. Trust me Disney is good at keeping these stories kid-friendly."

"How is The Lion King based on Hamlet?"

"I think it was more similar to it. I never read Hamlet."

"I thought the movie was based on the wildlife in Africa."

"It's a little bit of both."

"OK, we have the kid's movie, now for the adults," Fixit brought up a list for the adults.

"Any suggestions, Metalsound?" Bumblebee asked.

Metalsound's optics were glued on one of the movies, "Have you guys noticed how close Razorclaw and Soundwave have been getting?"

"Yeah. What about it?"

Metalsound grinned in a slightly disturbing manner, "I have the perfect movie for them," she pointed at the movie.

"The Phantom of the Opera, nice choice."

"It's an awesome movie, another one of my favorites," she says with excitement, "I'll try to control myself when we watch it."

Bumblebee and Fixit chuckle, "Yeah, we'll see Metalsound."

Later that night, Fixit had everything set up, the kids were settled up front while the adults sat behind them. Razorclaw wasn't as shy as when he first came to the base, he was a little more comfortable being around the others. They all sit down to watch the movie.

Emberwing sat between the boys, they were all excited about the movie, "I hope it has some action in it," Seajumper said.

"Me too," Nightback agreed, feeling excited.

"Do you know what we'll be watching this time?" Razorclaw asked quietly as the opening credits started.

"You'll find out."

Razorclaw chuckled quietly as a man started singing. The femmes awed when they saw the kittens getting new homes. They then awed with sympathy as the one kitten didn't get taken and was washed away. The sparklings gasped as the kitten fell into the sewer drain, only to sigh in relief when he climbed out, "That was close," Emberwing whispered to herself.

They felt bad seeing the kitten have to fend for itself against the dogs and everything else. By the time the young one had gotten somewhere safe, he got scared by the thunder and lightning. Once he calmed down he washed his face before falling asleep.

"Aw, the little kitten is so cute," says Strongarm.

"It is, but not as cute as our pup," Steeljaw whispered.

"I agree."

They all watched as the kitten walked the streets of New York, hoping someone would take him home with them. He walked out onto the road but came right back on the sidewalk only to fall on his back when he tripped over his paws. Everybody awed.

They saw a dog walking the street as it passed a small brown dog. Hopping onto the car he got the female's attention, she turned to see him making kissy faces at her. The grown femmes all giggled at that.

"Ew," the sparklings said, looking in disgust.

The female dog let out a gasp before she humphed and left with her owner. The kitten got some help from the dog, Dodger, in getting some food only to be ripped off as Dodger took off. He challenged the kitten to get the hot dogs when he broke into a song. The kitten was trying to get the hot dogs from him.

Once the song was over the kitten followed Dodger to a place in the alleyway, "Come on kitty you can get them back," Emberwing whispered.

Their owner soon came in talking about needing money for a man named Sykes. The dogs quickly spotted the food and ran for it, tackling the man to the ground. The boys were losing interest until the dog fight broke out then they were into the movie.

"Yeah, get them!"

One of the bad dogs tried going after the cat, he yelled in pain when the cat scratched him. The other dogs jump in front of the cat to protect him, "Run along, Roscoe, your master's calling," the female told them in a smug tone.

"You tell them, girl," Strongarm says to the female on the screen and the other femmes cheered in agreement. The Dobermans growled as they left.

"That's how you handle them."

Metalsound smirked for a moment before the human came back. The movie goes on and they soon get to the part where Oliver gets taken in by a little rich girl. Oliver had gotten into a little trouble with the family's dog, Georgette. Georgette was trying to get rid of him because she didn't like having him around.

"She's kind of mean," Emberwing whispered to the boys.

"Yeah."

The dogs had finally managed to find Oliver. With some help from Georgette, they managed to rescue the kitten. But the kitten didn't want to be rescued, and soon both the kitten and the girl were kidnapped by Sykes. Oliver and the gang tried to rescue the girl only to get caught by Sykes again. They manage to get the girl and escape after taking out Sykes and the dogs.

The kids winced when one of the Dobermans fell on the train tracks, yelping as he got shocked, "Ow, that gotta hurt" Seajumper says still wincing.

"I'm sure it did," Emberwing whispered.

"It does," Sideswipe replied and the sparklings winced again.

"Stop scaring them," Metalsound growled softly.

They all saw the oncoming train as the car kept heading towards it. The sparklings closed their optics as the train ran over the car with Sykes still in it. Oliver, Dodger, and the gang all escape. Oliver and the girl made it home safely, Dodger and the young cat parted ways as the gang started singing, Why Should I Worry? Then the movie ends.

"That was awesome!" Seajumper yelled with excitement.

"Yeah!" Nightback exclaimed in agreement with him.

"I liked the songs," Emberwing started humming the song that Dodger was singing.

"And it's time for bed," Metalsound chuckled as she scooped up her daughter.

"Aww, but I'm not sleepy yet," Emberwing tried to argue.

"Same goes for you two," says Strongarm as she walks over to her son and picks him up.

"Aww, can we stay up a little longer, Mom? Please," Nightback asked.

"No, you need to go to bed."

"Just five more minutes?"

"OK, five more minutes but that's it."

"Yes!"

Metalsound sighed and placed Emberwing down. Fixit played the next movie for the adults.

"What's this movie?" Seajumper asked.

"It's called The Phantom of the Opera," Bumblebee replied.

"What's a phantom?" Nightback asked.

"And what's an opera?" Emberwing asked in curiosity.

"A phantom is like a ghostly figure and an opera is where people sing at high notes."

The movie opens up with a man bidding away some items to different people. The sparklings quickly fell asleep on top of each other, all snoring softly making their parents chuckle. The femmes went to pick up their kids only to be stopped by their mates, "We got them," Steeljaw said softly.

"Alright, hurry back," Strongarm whispered back to him.

How would the subway lads react to an s/o or friend when under-stimulated- will either tackle-hug ingo/emmet, fix their hair for them, adjust their big ol' coat sleeves, play with one of their hands (like moving a finger or holding his wrist and making his hand shake up n down), and if they're hugging then they wrap their arms around ingo/emmet and trace random things on his back

👉👈 might even just straight up shove their face into a twin's chest and hug his waist 😳

Like sometimes the twins can sense that they're about to get pounced on and smothered in affection and attention from their friend/darling. It's sorta paradoxical to how embarrassed they get with PDA in public but really want to hold the twins' hands or arm...

If Emmet and Ingo are busy then the friend / s/o will divert their attention to one of the bosses pokemon. Galvantula is cuddled like a body pillow, petted, and enjoys having its fuzzy pedipalps held. Archeops has its feathers brushed and cleaned, called a pretty bird, and loves to sit on their lap since perching on their shoulders will cause both of them to fall over

(Totally not basing this off my own experience and urge to hug my cat and rub my face on her lil tummy while calling her like 100 different nicknames 🫣)

I have a similar thing where I like to lay across people or hug them or scratch their backs whenever I'm lonely or wanting attention. My main mode of affection is through physical means, so all my friends (who are not as physically affection) have to deal with me wanting to be pinned beneath their body weight. They give that exasperated sigh and just let me get it out lolol

Ingo:

Ingo needs some getting used to it. He's used to the affection from Emmet, but you are another matter. He flushes easily as you explain your reasons for the affection you're currently laying on him, and he's happy to indulge you. Just let him get used to it

Ingo relaxes into your affections, no longer tensing or flinching from them. He kisses your head whenever you bury your face in his chest, a soft blush along his cheeks. He enjoys the feeling of you on his arm (he feels like a gentleman leading you around), and loves the domesticity of you fixing his hair or clothes for him. The hand thing takes some getting used to, but he comes to think of it as cute. You check to make sure his hands are working, which he finds sweet

He gets a tad jealous when you turn your attentions to Excadrill. He'll sit and pout and watch how cute you are, swinging the mole around and peppering him in kisses. He doesn't want to interrupt the cute scene of you giving his Pokémon affections, but he wants some too!

You've made him an addict, so don't make him quit cold turkey :(

Emmet:

Emmet adores you. You tackle hug him, he tackle hugs you. You bury your face in his chest, and he sweeps you up to spin you around. He'll act like a cat, nuzzling his face into your neck, chest, whatever he can reach while you stroke and play with his hair

He'll wiggle his hand at you, trying to entice you into performing "safety checks" on his hand. He wants you to crack his knuckles, shake his wrist so his hand flops around. He wants you physically molded into his body however he can have you

He will whine if you turn your attention to Galvantula. Sure, watching you bury your face in Galvantula's fuzz, watching you carefully move its legs in a mock dance as you sing to it, is the most precious thing he's ever seen, but. . . he's right here!! He'll dance for you! He'll sing too!!

Hope you're ready for Emmet to give back what you give too. He'll lay on you, play with your hair, your hands. Crack your knuckles, pinch your cheeks. All of it. He just loves you so much

I feel like both these boys love affection, Ingo is just more reserved and polite about how much he loves it, while Emmet has no shame.

Obey Me! Bros and Dateables at a karaoke! HCS.

Diavolo had invited MC to the castle for tea and had started inquiring MC on human world customs and traditions (what they do for fun) and our brilliantly smart MC much to the dismay of Lucifer and Barbatos blurted out the word 'KARAOKE' which obviously set our dear red-headed himbo on the idea that they must have a karaoke night and thus inviting everyone in HoL and the residents of Purgatory Hall. *sighhh* let's see how this goes~

LUCIFER: Flat out refuses to touch the mic, only giving in when Dia orders him to let loose abit and sing, and oh boi when he does.... Would, and i mean WOULD, sing Fly Me to the Moon. I mean, that's prolly the only song this poor old dilf daddy knows since all he listens to are cursed records but, look closely in his room and you might notice a record or two by Mr.Sinatra~

Lucifer's voice is like honey dripping off a golden spoon, like a light rain in the mornin, like the sultry voice of someone who just woke up, and all more mused beautifully. I mean, they don't call him Morningstar for nothing ;)

MAMMON: Think Jason Derulo, and Bruno Mars . He'd sing songs that are very beachy and summerry and fun and let's not forget the ones with names like '24K Gold' or 'Finesse' or that one verse in 'Acapulco' that goes,

"Damn that body, dabbled in versace, did i win the lottery or am i gonna stay? Damn you got me, like bitcoin and like dolce, i'm rich with you beside me, cause you're not coin based~"

100% singing directed right at MC because hey, he's MC's first man, so he gets to sing to MC's face :) In all honesty tho, his voice is absolutely beautiful, falling second only to Lucifer.

LEVIATHAN: He's belting out songs like Hikaru Nara and Unravel, and the only other person who enjoys them other than himself is MC sorry dude

He has a good voice, but sorta ended up ruining it from all that screaming and shouting at games lmfaoo.

Not that everyone minds, it's just that if he gets ahold of the mic he will NOT let go, the sort of person who says "one more song please, just one more" and that goes on forever.

SATAN: Will pick up the mic and sing any songs Lucifer sings just to prove that he's better. If he were to choose one for himself he'd pick classic Disney songs.

Think of Satan singing 'Once Upon A Dream' in that deep sexy voice of his.

If not Disney then he'd purposely pick something like "Queen of the Night Aria" and sing it mesmerizingly....in Lucifer's face :)

There's a reason cat boi excells at seductive speechcraft, too bad it doesn't work on Lucy tho heheh~

ASMODEUS: Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Doja Cat NEED I SAY ANYTHING ELSE?!

Tho he would try singing if the songs are about food loll,

The type to just sit and cheer quietly while munching on snacks the sweet little babyyyyy

BELPHEGOR: Literally like Beel, but is just there to sleep. How he does it? Oh, no one knows~

If he had to sing however he'd partner up with Barbs and go hard on some rock songs, preferably the screamer since that gives him an excuse to yell at Lucifer MUAHAHAHAHASCDGHFK

Yep, defo getting strung up by the toes once he gets back sksksksksk

DIAVOLO: Ah yes, the dear Demon Lord a.k.a. the redheaded himbo of DevilDom. Think songs like "Put Your Head on my Shoulder" or "Uptown Funk" yea, that's the kind of songs he sings.

Totally gives off the dad vibe. Misses quite a number of notes but he seems so happy doing it that no one wants to rain on his parade.

BARBATOS: Rock. Just pure Rock. Preferably HARD METAL but that would be unfitting of a Demon Lord's butler, hmmm, maybe he'd do that in private.

You may!! Jay is based off the Littles- specifically, the TV show adaptation from 1983, where tiny beings live inside the walls and anywhere else that's hidden. I checked it out back in 2011 because of fan art I came across. I absolutely love the general design of these tiny creatures; completely distinct from the humans while managing to still look so human themselves. They hit the perfect sweet spot for me, and I eventually wanted one of my own.

In 2017 Jay was born. Aside from a few superficial tweaks he's barely changed since. Turned out I liked what I started with pretty well! Haha!

Here's some bulletin point-ish info!

*Birthday: September 27. Libra Sun, Aquarius Moon *Age: 13-14

Jay has a mother, father and little sister (she's around 9). His mom I picture being kind, fun loving yet no nonsense and has a sharp sense of humor. His sister is on the mischievous side and is more likely to get into trouble. The father is more chill like Jay, tells some wicked stories and a great baker. Jay looks like his mom but has more of his dad's temperament.

Jay is playful and experiences a lot of the typical rambunctiousness of a boy his age, but at heart is a pretty peaceful soul and dislikes making waves if he can help it. He's not particularly shy but can seem like it sometimes, leaning towards more chill behaviour compared to his peers. Jay isn't prone to letting his emotions get the better of him and tends to think before he acts. Jay socializes easily and enjoys going out for many hours but can also equally enjoy down time and being lazy (for many hours).

Jay's tail often reflects his mood, like bushy when startled, tucked in with fear, playful swinging or wagging when gearing himself up, and tapping when bored or annoyed. Common position is standing up in a sort of question mark shape, like a happy cat's tail.

Jay sings! His favorite style of music is punk rock but likes variety. He owns a guitar and plays as well.

Jay loves nuts, and peanut butter is his favorite treat. Favorite color is emerald green!

I planned on Jay being part of the cartoon show universe, where he was going to be a friend of a relative to the main cast, or simply a distant relative. Jay and Tom would hit it off right away, where Lucy is kind of more reluctant. Not that she necessarily dislikes Jay but considering Jay and Tom both really enjoy biking and all the stunts and tricks it entails, Lucy, I quote from the show: "Riding around in circles in the dirt what a waste of time!" clearly doesn't think highly of it. Jay's nice and all but it keeps her from having a better opinion of him. I considered Lucy falling for Jay when he shows courage and resourcefulness in an intense situation.

You can see my dilemma here. If I went in that direction it would make more sense if Jay was a friend of a relative, but I really want them to be related. So, leik, whatta I do? Lmao. I ended up making Jay friends with a fairy, and after a few failed Littles cross over drawing attempts years ago never tried to expand on the canon in the show since. But I still think it would be really fun to come back to this one day and complete the original idea, esp as a grateful nod for giving me an oc I love so much.

Hi! I hope you had a really amazing birthday! Yay for your voice being back and I'm glad you're feeling better. Oh that is kinda a cool idea, to stab the cake..I've never thought of that. I guess it's almost similar to a piñata though haha. Ya I know..cuz some people have accents and stuff which is kinda weird to think about since I don't think of it that much. I think I will think of my resolutions when I get to the end of the year..at least the specifics. I never stick to them though but I really wanna change that ugh.

Yep I think you told me that before but that sucks. I think it came out how many songs were in the movie so people were trying to figure out what was cut. I don't know the songs that well to make a guess honestly but if you have any idea, you can say it here. I think they could get rid of whose house is this but a lot of the songs could possibly feel unnecessary anyway since people already know the movie. There's a few I wouldn't care about them cutting I guess..i could see Cautionary Tale, Sexy and I find more is always better pretty boring lol. I hope the movie is still good though. I know most people still don't know it was based on the musical and it's similar with The Color Purple actually and Wonka. I think Wonka got kinda good reviews but I'm not sure I will go watch it yet.

I know! And I also enjoy Snow on the Beach quite a bit. My sister freaked out when the collab was announced haha. It was definitely one of the songs that stood out on a first listen to me and you can definitely hear Lana's influence on it. That's also similar to how Electric Touch sounds like Fall Out Boy too. It kinda sounds like a Lana song. I still prefer the original version compared to more Lana because of the dreamy outro though. Are you also a fan of Lana and do you listen to her? Oh that's so awful! It makes sense why you would dislike it now. When did you see it on tour? Have you just been holding a grudge against CATS for years? At least it wasn't at one of your favorite musicals! Also are you a cat lover? I'm not as much as Taylor but I do like them. I think La La Land just feels like a modern version of a classic old movie musical and I like how many references there are. Also I know people said they couldn't sing, but Emma was in Cabaret on Broadway and now Ryan sang in Barbie. I liked the setup and structure of it. I like the simple story of two people reaching for their dream. It reminds me of the same concept of Dorothea or Midnight Rain too..which we have talked about. I also like comparing it to The Last Five Years and a Star is Born too which have some similarities and differences. I also loved those two films so much and they all revolve around couples who don't work out lol. But you know by now that I just like to compare things, like with books, so maybe that's why.

I actually got a few books yesterday for a quarter each. One of them was Get a Life, Chloe Brown which I have heard I think good reviews of. I wanted to know if you've read it. Another one was by the same author of The Virgin Suicides and I love that movie so much. I also got book by the same author of Big Little Lies and I have another one of her books on my shelf so I thought it might be a good pair. I haven't actually seen Big Little Lies and I'm not a mystery reader lol so I'll have to see. Another thing you should know about me is that I absolutely love sitcoms. That and teen dramas and baking shows are usually the shows I watch. so I also got Mindy Kalings book and Matthew Perry's book...RIP which I thought was a pretty good deal. Also it was announced the other day that Captain Holt from B99 passed away. :( I also have Anna Kendricks and Andrew Rannells books on my shelf too and wanted to possibly read Im Glad my mom died and I was in the middle of Crying in Hmart before too. I honestly don't know why I buy more when so many are already on my list.

Well we have a lot of the same Folklore favorites and less on Evermore I guess. I still like debut..I just never play it anymore. That doesn't mean it's bad..it's just that she's gotten better compared to debut's lyrics which are more simple. plus I don't wanna flash back to being 12 all the time lol and I didn't even play the full album until I was like 20. but my favorite songs on the album are songs I really love a lot. But I definitely have a soft spot for it cuz that's what made me love her in the first place. I would argue Fearless is one of her best albums too for bringing something new to country music. I was never a fan of country but she made me a fan of it anyway and that's important too. All of her albums mean something different to me. I put rep next cuz there isn't a song that I dislike and I connect with the meaning or feeling of the album the most. I know she said the old Taylor was dead on the album, but to me it was like she was coming back to me cuz I didn't connect to 1989. I do wonder if the vault tracks will lean into that more which will make me love it more. I almost feel disconnected to her in a similar way right now but I don't really know why and I'm hoping Rep TV helps. hello, friend!! it was really, really fun! a fun fact about me is that i used to have a blend of a british-australian-irish accent (a product of going to international school and having british, australian and irish teachers) but then i very quickly dropped it after i moved here! i actually sent a childhood friend a voice memo the other day — which was the first time he's heard my voice in like, fifteen years — and he was shocked at how "american" i sound. i am terrible at doing accents just for fun though!

i'm also trying to figure out what will be cut and what will stay — i'm thinking world burn, i see stars, revenge party, apex predator, sexy, someone gets hurt, it roars, fearless and i'd rather be me will be in it? i'm not sure what else — maybe whose house is this, where do we belong/meet the plastics (like a mashup like they did on the tonys)? i don't know if they'll keep stupid with love or more is better, just because i don't think the guy playing aaron can sing? what do you think? i also don't think i'll be going to see wonka (but that's not a surprise, given how terrible i am at watching movies haha)!

oh that's such a good deal! i did like the brown sisters series; the second one (dani brown) is my favorite! i hope you enjoy it; you'll have to let me know! i haven't read most of the other ones you mentioned, but i did read crying in h mart (and loved it; have read it two or three times now), and i am also guilty of buying books when i have a huge physical tbr stack! it's one of my 2024 goals actually — just to read the books i already own (and unhaul).

i also have been feeling very disconnected to her — and especially with the swiftie fandom for a while now. which just ... really sucks! because i love her music! i haven't really listened to her much this year, actually (this was the first year in a very long time where she was not my most listened to artist; still in my top five, just not number one). just kind of a :/ feeling! i still haven't watched the movie at home either, but i will eventually!

Paul: surprisingly, actually. Golden retriever high on 🍃 brownies energy. I used to not feel much about him but Tumblr made me fall in love with him. Feels like he's really sweet and hanging out with him could be lots of fun. Beautiful hair, probably likes to experiment a lot. That fishnet shirt is literally so cool.

Marko: Little shit. I love him. Again, beautiful hair. I love the general hc that he's the most sadistic/cruel out of the four of them, and the most artistic too. The most reckless between the boys, I feel like he also teases you a lot just to rile you up. Would let him take me to dangerous/risky dates.

Michael: he's so dense and stupid it's cute. Beautiful hair though. Toned, pretty, seems like a good son and older brother, has boyfriend material potential too. He's a bit reckless but compared to any of the boys, it's very tame. Would bring him home to meet my parents.

Dwayne: Big, mysterious, long luscious dark hair, that stare. Is my type of guy. Black cat energy, caters to my introverted side. I feel like he is the calmest, and more responsible out of the bunch, probably has a good singing voice. Reminds of my irl boyfriend.

David: Too intimidating, I wouldn't be able to talk properly around him and would look very dumb. I like his style though, and we could be good friends based on favours: I touch-up his roots, he makes sure I'm not gonna be robbed/murdered/assaulted on the streets. Good deal. I've read a hc that said he was gay and I can't see him as anything but.

Lucy: good hair attacks again. That pixie cut is literally SO CUTE. She seems like a good mom, very gentle and kindhearted. In the movie, she feels a bit too perfect, I wish we had more depth on her character.

Star: Smells like manic pixie dream girl to me. Doesn't have a lot of clear personality, but got extra points for having the prettiest hair out of the bunch. Seems artistic, and carefree, but I don't like the backstabbing part. Was joining the lost boys so bad? There's so much about her that make me confused so this is why homegirl is so low on the list.

Hi...I want to start watching BL dramas, and I kinda confused where to start...I still read your blog to learn more about this genre....Before this I enjoy watching shounen-ai anime and read danmei novels....Can I ask for your drama recs (if you don't mind) that kinda like Sasaki to Miyano (one of my fav bl series)? But if you love Sasaki to Miyano here are some quick suggestions. Now I’ve only read the manga, but I would call Sasaki to Miyano classic light yaoi, slow burn, low heat, angst but generally very light weight.

GENTLE & Soft BL (like Sasaki to Miyano)

Mostly you're gonna be looking for Korean BL, a select few from Japan, and some Thai stuff. The ones I’ve listed have little to no violence or triggers. Just oodles of adorable softness and comfort.

1. Seven Days (Japan - DramaCool in 2 parts Seven Days: Monday - Thursday, Seven Days: Friday - Sunday) - regular readers of this blog will be unsurprised to see this top the list but it really is EXACTLY what you are looking for. It is one of the best live action yaoi ever made (if not THE best). Popular first year Seiryo has a policy of going out with any girl who asks… for one week. On a lark, third year Yuzuru tests to see if that policy also applies to boys. Seiryo agrees that it does. Along the way they accidentally fall in love. (Forgive it its hair for that is a mark of its time.)

2. Cherry Magic (Japan - indie subbed) AKA 30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii - the sweetest, fluffiest, most charming bit of office-set adorable ever, full of found family and slapstick, the characters are utter spazzes, but so cute about it. All angst is self confidence based, nothing really distressing ever happens.

3. Light On Me (Korea - Viki) - Korea does a pitch perfect classic high school set BL with all tropes cleverly deployed to bolster one of the most riveting love triangles ever put on screen… and I don’t like love triangles! Shin Woo is probubly the softest, gentlest, sweetest seme in the whole universe. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.

4. Wish You (Korea - Netflix or Viki, you want the movie version) AKA WISH YOU: Your Melody in My Heart - low stakes high pining romance about a pianist who falls in love with a busker who is on his way to being the next big idol. It’s about singing but this drama is very quiet. Hugely underrated.

5. To My Star (Korea - Viki) - is a touch quirky, but utterly appealing once it hits its stride. It’s the ultimate grumpy/sunshine pairing plus the most appealing light-filled kitchen of our dreams. Famous actor (adorable bundle of neurosis) takes refuge in the house of a reserved chef and is immediately smitten by Mr Tall Dark & Glowering. The chef is also smitten but refuses to admit it to himself or anyone else.

6. The Tasty Florida (Korea - Viki) - not really a love triangle featuring the prettiest men ever to be grouped together outside of K-pop, honestly the visuals are ridiculous, there’s a story, it has to do with food, whatever, they so pretty

7. Oxygen (Thailand - YouTube) - softest seme in the universe sings his affection to the older boy at the cafe. Let the slow burn courting commence. There is a tiny bit of angst at the end, and one storyline is naff (the doctors) but this is high production Thai softness so I forgive it.

8. Ingredients (Thailand - YouTube) - if all you want is two soft boys being domestic, cooking together, cuddling on the couch, cat sitting, and babysitting - just put this on and be comfy.

9. He’s Coming to Me (Thailand - YouTube) - want your soft sweetness with a dose of paranormal and a little mystery but none of the violence or extreme triggers of Manner of Death or Until We Meet Again? Then this is for you.

10. You Are Ma Boy (Vietnam - YouTube) - is there angst? Nope even what could have been angst (a gay idol) doesn’t materialize, it’s just cuties in a cafe confusing each other with cat & mouse games. The side het couple is a touch disturbing, tho.
