A/N: Damn, the angst is powerful today.

BRUCE

Really cold after an argument. He barely returns your calls and texts and replies with only a few words. Apologizing doesn't come easy to him and even when he does do so all you'll get is an "I'm sorry." and then him trying to slowly cuddle up to you and kiss your cheek a lot. He doesn't like to dwell on the argument but he's really bad as resolving it, which is strange because he's pretty good when talking to his opponents.

JASON

Brooding to hell and back when you argue. Spends a lot of that time on the couch too. When you try to talk to him he'll acknowledge you're there, even hold your hand because at the end of the day he is touch starved but he will keep pouting all the way. Even after you begin kissing he'll tell you that you're wrong and he's right and you kissing him first proves that so... that that!

DICK

Hates leaving after an argument but has to clear his head a little. Fresh air and adrenaline really help him out. Keeps an eye on his phone in case you call him. If you don't then he will text you to let you know when he's coming back. Drops by your favorite store and buys you your favorite dessert. It doesn't work much in the way of apology but it makes the kisses afterwards taste that much sweeter.

DIANA

There will be some broken furniture when she's angry, but by some miracle not of it will be the furniture you bought. Will gladly let you use her lasso on her if you doubt that she's being honestly apologetic. A little over the top maybe but she flies new furniture through the window and makes a big show of it too. Very careful when kissing you, at least when it comes to handling you. The walls... might need some repairing.

SLADE

Not a man you want to get into an argument with honestly. He's scary when he's normal, let alone when he's arguing about something. You're about the only person that can slap him and get away with it without getting your hand cut off for it. But he will tie them over your head when you get down to... settle your differences.

CLARK

Spends most of the time above the clouds to cool off. Of course still keeps an eye out for you, your heartbeat. Once he's calmed down a little he will buy you a whole lot of flowers and if you're still angry at him he really doesn't want you to slap him because that would break your hand and he can't have that. He loves holding and kissing it too much and he would hate to cause you more pain.

OLIVER

Tries to brush past the arguing as quickly as he can. Starts to tease you, tempt you into letting your guard down by kissing your neck and shoulder, massaging you over your clothes. Not a big fan of going to bed angry at each other so would rather stay up all night trying to patch things up then going to sleep knowing you're still angry at each other.

(SPOILERS obviously):

An obvious one, but a classic, the "up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Superman!" line reference. This one never gets old.

Jimmy next name drops Flamebird. in the comics Nightwing and Flamebird were Kryptonian superheroes adopting their names from a species of Kryptonian birds. This is where Dick Grayson gets his Nightwing identity from. The page here is from Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe #17 (1986) drawn by Curt Swan and Karl Kesel.

At the climatic battle of part 2 of Adventures of a Normal Man, we see Leslie Willis become blue and look more like her traditional Livewire look. Her first appearance was in Superman the Animated Series, season 2 episode 5 "Livewire" where she was voiced by Lori Petty, a.k.a. Tank Girl. In the show Leslie was a shock jock radio DJ slinging hot takes live on air knocking down Superman a peg or two

Obviously MAwS took Leslie in a whole different direction, design choice, and occupation change, but I am excited to see what happens next for her.

Before we see Clark battle Leslie we see this guy. White hair, wears orange and black, its Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke. This fool here in like 20 to 25 years will have his life spiral out of control and get his ass kicked by a bunch of colorfully dressed teenagers.

Deathstroke makes his first appearance in New Teen Titans #2 (1980) (W: Marv Wolfman and George Perez, P: George Perez, I: Romeo Tanghal, C: Adrienne Roy, L: Ben Oda) where he is hired by H.I.V.E. to kill the Teen Titans. In the comics he's a major piece of shit, but a damn good assassin.

After the fight we see Supes clean up and he picks up a billboard that reads Amazotech.

This is a good reference to Professor Anthony Ivo, a mad scientist of the DC Universe who built the Amazo robot who could adapt and replicate any power that the Justice League has and weaknesses. Both Ivo and the Amazo robot make their first appearances here in Brave and the Bold #30 (1960) with the cover art done by Mike Sekowsky and Murphy Anderson.

At the end of the episode Slade name drops Task Force X better known as the Suicide Squad. The name "Suicide Squad" is from the Brave and the Bold #25 where it was the name of Rick Flag's unit in the military. The Suicide Squad pop culture knows first debuted in Legends #3 (1987) as seen below (W: John Ostrander and Len Wein, P: John Byrne, I: Karl Kesel, C: Tom Ziuko, L: Steve Haynie).

The team at this time was composed of Rick Flag, Bronze Tiger, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Enchantress, and Blockbuster. The team members have changed out with each new Task Force X/Suicide Squad iteration.

Behind Slade, here is Amanda Waller, the most fearsome woman in the DC universe. She's ruthless, politically powerful, and will not hesitate to blow up anyone in the Suicide Squad if they screw up. She makes her first appearance in Legends #1 (1987) same comic series in the previous picture. Very excited to see where My Adventures with Superman goes with this cuz you don't see Superman interact with Deathstroke or Suicide Squad all the often.

DPxDC Deathstroke

Ugh Now I'm stuck on the idea of like Slade(Deathstroke) Constantly trying to get back at Dick through Danny. Like Danny is Dick's son in this, maybe even for a later story in Phoenix Down universe. But basically Deathstroke tests Nightwing's new protege.. having seen this one sticking around. Danny doesn't understand how even with his powers this guy is hard to fight- and getting his ass kicked a fair amount by him. Nightwing jumping in at the right time to help Danny and telling Deathstroke off. Slade realizes Danny is Dick's kid.. and kind of as pay back for Nightwing getting his kid into heroism... Slade takes great interest in Danny. Even finding out how to control him, using a red stone much like Freakshow. Training him as his own sidekick-

By the time Bats and Nightwing catch him- Danny is sent to fight them. Using same name Nightwing did undercover. Danny's trying to fight it. But Slade had enhanced the stone after noticing Danny's resistance. Dick is fighting Slade alone as the rest are trying to contain Danny. Dick doing his best to get the stone back, ENRAGED that Slade messed with his kid. While Slade is cutting Dick deep with his words. Poking at all the right spots. Maybe Jason yelling to get Dick's head in the game. Its only after Slade tells Danny to finish them does Danny knock everyone onto the ground. He starts powering up an attack. Dick tries to go and stop him, only to manage to get held down by Slade. Except Danny doesn't hit them. He changes his shot to a piercing blow, firing at Slade. Danny begging for Dick to help. Dick taking the opportunity to snatch the stone from Slade and crushing it. Slade gets beat up by a furious nightwing before getting away. Slade just chuckling impressed. Saying something like he suppose Danny really is his brood. Just as stubborn too. Nightwing wants to go after him- but Danny calls him while passing out. So Dick catches him, cradling his son in his arms. Just so relieved he's ok... but still fuming that this happened. That he LET it happened. Takes some venting on exercise equipment before Dick can fully calm down. While danny's resting. Rest of the bats trying to help Dick deal with his emotions.

All of My Heroes Die All Alone: The Preface

Hello! I originally posted this series on AO3 but I thought I would post it here for you lovely people as well.

Evangeline Lawton has lived her entire life fighting. From her uprooted childhood, to fighting for her life and the lives of those she loves in her adulthood. Trained as a killer she uses that to her advantage, using her newfound friend in Roy Harper and his alter ego ‘Arsenal.’ The two form an alliance, killing and maiming for money, Roy wanting nothing more than to get out of the city, and Evangeline wanting to keep her dying father comfortable in Elliot Memorial.

Their arrangement comes crumbling down when new players get added into the mix, and old wounds are unstitched and new ones are punctured. Who comes out of it unscathed? Not the heroes.

No, the heroes they die… all alone.

I’ve got 4 parts to publish here so I will do that! My main priority is AO3 but I’ll obviously add the next part here once it’s done.

[Scene changes to superman and hal Jordan, a yellow lantern]

[This catches the High Councilor's attention as his expression changes.]

Phoenix Down Universe: Two Birds, One Stone.

I actually went further with the idea of Deathstroke kidnapping Danny in revenge against Dick. LOL

“I expected more from your son. So easily manipulated, and hell of a light weight. So easy to push him around, beat him black and blue, he didn't make a sound. ” Deathstroke spoke as their weapons collided.

Nightwing growled as he pushed off Deathstroke to avoid the knife the rogue slashed at him. “That's because you mind-controlled him!”

“Point still stays,” Deathstroke dodging the fury of hits coming from Nightwing. “You never were this easy to control.”

Dick growl intensified as he swung his escrima sticks, dodging a blow to side sweep Deathstroke's legs. Deathstroke flipping backwards, taking Nightwing further from the fight between Danny and his brothers.

“However, I must admit. He was great target practice.” Deathstroke deflecting Nightwing's darts back at him with his knife. “Every time I sliced his throat, he came back good as new.”
