When you first signed up to be the manager for the boy's volleyball team, you really didn't think much of it. You only signed up because your parents wanted you to go to some sort of after school club.

You didn't like any of the clubs so you decided to be a manager for a sports team. Besides, you didn't think a manager would have to do much since most of the organisation for matches would be done by the teachers and coaches.

So here you are on your first day being introduced to the boys in the team.

Karasuno

(You can decide whether its Yachi or Kiyoko's place your taking)

You honestly didn't know much about volleyball but this was the only club left without a manager so here you are standing before the boys as you are introducing yourself to them.

"Hey, I'm Y/n L/n and I'll be your manager from now on."

Things went well and your parents laid off your back for a good while. Though for the first few practices you really didn't have a single clue with what was going on. You would sit, leaning your back against the wall, on the side and watch the ball go from one side to another while they yelled at each other.

To be honest, you didn't get the hype about the sport but you did your duty as manager as best you could.

The boys were wary of their new manager. Often glancing at her every now and then and she would always be looking at them with the same scary expression.

They knew the girl's scary reputation, everyone did. Why she ever chose to be their manager baffles them even to this day.

When Asahi said 'hello' to you for the first time he was pretty nervous and he ended up sounding a little odd. You thought he was trying to intimidate you or something so you glared at him.

Square up Asahi, Y/n about to swing some arms.

Daichi came in between you both, explaining to you that Asahi doesn't mean any harm. He is a friendly giant, promise.

"Yeah he better be."

But over the next few practices, you realised that Asahi really was the BFG so you apologised to him later.

Nishinoya gets on your nerves everyday. Like everyday. He'll be walking back to class and he'll bump into you on purpose. He'll shout "YO MISS MANAGER!" if he sees you across the hallway or streets. Unlike Asahi, this boy was looking to get beat up. He is the cause for 90% of your headaches. The other 10% goes to Kageyama and Hinata's bickering.

Not even a whole month goes by with you as their manager and you have nearly given each team member a smack or punch.

Over time though, you do get pretty close to the boys and you care about them though you might show it, you wouldn't actually ever say it.

When they have practice matches with other teams from other schools and that other team decides to talk shit about your team, you having a field day swinging your fists like helicopter blades.

Though you don't actually ever get very far with your punches to have a field day before the coach or a teacher stops you.

Oikawa once tried to flirt with you. He failed miserably.

By now you understood the game much better and 100% agreed with the hype about it. Would you ever play the game yourself? With these boys? No.

Why? Well have you seen the force at which they smack those balls? (lmao great wording) Like you smack other balls with that force but as a beginner who hasn't ever physically payed volleyball herself, they'd hand your ass back to you even if they were going easy on you. Help, Nishinoya would be a PAIN to deal with after.

Maybe you'll stick to being a delinquent manager and not a player.

Nekoma

Believe me when I say that Taketora was over to moon when he found out his team now has a manager. He was gushing and blushing about it for days.

He came back down to earth when he saw it was you though.

The infamous Y/n.

Just his luck.

But little did he and the rest of the team know, you actually really liked the sport and knew a lot about it. You would give them lots of pointers and took down notes of their strengths and weaknesses.

You threatened to beat them up if they didn't improve in your given time frame.

Did you ever beat them up? No you didn't, apart from Lev.

Lev has a very cheerful and playful personality and he doesn't even realise when he teases you for your height or whatever else. So he gets beat up with your clipboard one to many times.

Okay now I think about it, I think Kuroo would also be on your 'to hit' list. He is very good at provoking people and you. So he is also hit by your clipboard a few times too.

You took this sport very seriously. The members often wondered why you didn't decide to play as a member on the girls team instead. When they asked you, you replied with

"It pains me to think that you lot would miss out on an awesome manager like me if i were to be a player instead, also because I know I would just be too good at the sport as a player so I decided to be nice and give you amatures a chance."

"Y/n you sound like Kuroo now..."

It wasn't long before Taketora began bragging about his team's manager to Hinata. Hinata thought you looked too scary and competitive for anyone to even see your feminine looks but the nekoma boys can see it clear as day.

Yaku was the only boy who never got told off by you. In fact, you actually get along with him pretty well, you both have very engaging conversations and he's the only one who receives pointers from you in your calm voice.

You have confiscated Kenma's phone a few times because he would get distracted by playing games on it and the poor boy wouldn't even glare or fight you about it like he would with Kuroo because he knew better.

The first time the boys saw you genuinely smile at practice, a smile that didn't have malicious intent or sarcastic, they were fawning all over you. That was also the first and last time they saw you flustered before being chased around the practice hall by you and your fists.

They'd see that smile again whenever they win a practice match or a real match in a competition and to them it makes victory taste that much sweeter.

Think even Hinata would agree with Taketora that you looked cute with that smile.

The boys sometimes forget that you do get into actual fights outside of school and practice so it often comes as a shock when they see you with some injuries when you go back to practice.

But they wouldn't want any other girl as their manager. They are more than happy to have you!

Julie HCs because her official page is as long as my attention span

Her official page is literally barely even there. It's just her game bio and THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE. More TCM lore or WE RIOT !!! Anyway I love Julie and she can be summarised in one sentence as my anxious baby sunflower ─── ⋆⋅☼⋅⋆ ───

It's canon that Julie is a very physically active person. However we don't know what sports exactly she does, but I'd like to HC that she plays football (soccer to the rest of the world, I'm British besties) and does distance running, dabbling in swimming a fair amount too. She goes surfing during the summer as well, she's literally always working on some kind of a physical thing. She doesn't go to the gym, sis doesn't need to.

She's the one that everybody goes to when it comes to style choices and the like. She does makeup on her friends for fun, the boys are not at all exempt from that, she especially loves to do makeup on them actually. You wouldn't be safe from her if she had a makeup brush in hand. Her whole desk at home is literally COVERED in makeup products divided based on whether they're hers or someone else's, takes special care of hygiene things too.

Julie might have a lot of energy, but that energy does NOT translate into how she acts with her friends. She's actually surprisingly quiet, tending to take to action more than with her words. She's a ball of anxiety usually, insecure on just about everything there is to be worried about. She's a brilliant listener because she doesn't know how to start conversations. She was absolutely "adopted" into the group by one of the more outgoing characters.

She'd cry if she got someone's coffee order wrong. Like she'd accidentally put a bit too much sugar in and when it's brought up she'd feel so guilty she'd just sit there trying not to cry- Of course, people would reassure her that it's okay and it's not the end of the world, but the poor girl is just so upset. She feels like a terrible friend whenever she makes the tiniest mistake or causes a minor inconvenience to her friends.

Girl does not know how to be mean to someone. Like she'd be stuck between "are you okay" and "im sorry" and say "are you sorry" then start crying

Literally always uses the softest tone of voice possible when she talks to people, she's actually rlly quiet. Like everyone thinks "oh she does a lot of sports she's totally a tomboy" but she's just there enjoying her friends being themselves and just thinking about how much she loves all of them

The rest of the time, though, she's the calmest presence literally ever. She's the secret keeper and the comforter. She is literally so good at reassuring people, like she's better than a licensed therapist (tbh tho in the uk the standard for them is LOW) when it comes to helping people cool off emotionally. She gives the best advice. Probably gives cuddles to her friends when they're stressed out, gives them little kisses on the top of their head and tells them they're going to be alright in fifty different ways until they calm down. She knows the love languages of everyone around her and makes sure to appeal to those in a platonic sense.

She's a good friend because she tries to be, not because she's absolutely capable in everything like the others might be. She's not intellectual in the same way Sonny or Ana might be, she's much more people smart than book smart- Can read you like an open book but will say absolutely nothing bc her fear of confrontation is real af

Julie volunteers in community gardens and at animal shelters when she isn't especially busy. It's just a habit of hers to try her best to give where she can. She's not the type that can really protect her friends, too scared of arguments and too weak to physically do much other than flee. Her heart is pure gold, and that's why her friends instead choose to protect her.

She uses every single cute nickname there is for her friends. Has some special ones set aside for specific people, but always ends up calling people "babe" (canon), "sugarcube", "hun", and the like. She also jokingly calls Leland "tough guy", change my mind (you cannot)

She's talented in a lot of things, but she doesn't quite see it. She's pretty decent with arts as well as sports, maybe not the best with literature things, but where it comes to energy and expression she absolutely excels. She was definitely that one nice popular girl. Like she'd always try her best to at the very least make up for people who were bullying other people and all that, y'know what I mean?

Her dream for the future is literally just to have two dogs. Golden retrievers specifically, but she's more than happy with the idea of more dogs. She wouldn't mind the whole romantic partner, picket-fence ideal, but she's more there for the furry babies (the dogs, which she can't decide on a name for) than she is for the romantic ideal.

She cannot, and I genuinely mean CANNOT cook anything without being worried she's undercooked it. She gets really anxious about the kitchen in general. Tends to stick to sandwiches and pre-cooked foods because she's always nervous about burning the house down. The only reason it doesn't affect her body because she's super active, honestly.

SCENTED CANDLES IN HER ROOM I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH SHE HAS PINE SCENTS, CINNAMON SCENTS, AND ALSO WOODSMOKE Taking no criticisms this is CANON.

Closest to Sonny out of everyone. They have the kind of friendship where they're remarkably similar in key traits people notice about them (examples being that they're both anxious people and they would do literally anything they possibly could to help their friends despite maybe not being suited to it) and they feel like they make up for each others' shortcomings. They have friend dates on fridays and she does his makeup for him, probably tells him orange brings out his eyes and sakfkahfkhhfuhr they're literally just friends and I love that for them

Putting a 'keep reading' thing so I shorten the long post. Btw I talk a lot about hunting so if that's not your thing you don't have to see it 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ (goes for anyone)

For the things I like, it's stuff like writing (obvi), hunting, fishing, and honestly cleaning as I've stated in other posts before. All of these things help me get my mind off if things -♡-

I've actually won first and second place for a Perch fishing contest (only got second because the kid who won cheated) when I was younger (I have my first place fish mounted in my wall above my bedroom door).

I started hunting this when I was 9 and have the hide of my first deer on my ceiling (it was a big die I hit at my grandmas). My biggest deer I've shot was I think my second deer (I think I've shot 7 deer total) that was 6 points with a big body. I've shot three velvets in a row too (it's hard to even see one because they always shed it before hunting season, to put it into perspective on how cool it was to get three velvets). I still need to put my deer skull on my wall lol (not to sound creepy tho).

And my family aren't trophy hunters (hunting only big animals not rlly for food and sometimes people don't care for the animal) and we respect the animals and eat the food and get everything off the deer that we can. I get to try and hunt a bear this year too, rlly excited for that (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

The fandoms (finally) I'm in and like rn are pgr, hsr, genshin, TBHK and Omori and some games I like that I don't rlly know if they have a fandom (or else I'd write for them if I could) are Food Fantasy, Echocalypse, Zen koi 1 & 2, Bistro Heros and Evertale.

6h late to the rant but OH GOD this is gonna be a nightmare of a semester from gym class alone

yesterday (monday) I was tryna participate in gym class cuz despite being disabled I typically don't mind most gym activities, but heres a thing with whatever specific chronic pain I have: I won't realize I pushed my physical breaking point until it's way too late. Like I'll be chilling and then suddenly the worst migrane will hit, followed by my entire body simotaniously wanting to spasm and being unable to move due to the intense pain. To the point that when I asked the gym teacher to sit out (which he let me do no problem cuz he knew my issues) I could barely walk to the outside of the gym (where my friends were cuz one was recovering from a panic attack) and once I got out there I was basically unable to move due to a mix of having to stand still as for my body to not completely go haywire and because more movement = more pain. At some point both me & the friend who was sitting out cuz panic attack both ended up laying on the floor cuz they were lightheaded and my body was about to either go haywire or tense up enough to where I couldn't move so I wanted to atleast be on the ground just incase, and while the friend who was lightheaded got actual help from the 2 other friends sitting out for no reason I was just given a bunch of shitty jokes and sarcastic "are you okay?"s and after admitting that I genuinely wasn't okay (as if me going on about the fact that my body was doing everything wrong at once wasn't a major hint that HEY I WASN'T FINE.) the only one who rlly stepped up to help me was the friend I was the closest too and she helped me sit up and attempted to get a tylenol from the office for me (couldn't because I had to be there to get it. bad thing to say when the "I" in question is currently unable to walk but that secretary just seems to want me dead for being crippled anyways) while the other 2 friends were too busy making jokes abt how they wanted to fuck eachother to even glance over at me. Fastforward a bit and gym ends, gym teacher helps me stand up, friend who had to sit out cuz of a panic attack talks to gym teacher abt stuff I didn't care to eavesdrop on and I barely manage to get in and out of that changing room. my body still feels like its pain-burning (like. its almost like a burning feeling but without the heat and just the pain) today and I'm debating just missing school today cuz of this. fuck my dumbass body's inability to know when to stop until its too late and fuck Kat & Quade who couldn't get their eyes off eachother for a second to try and give a shit about another human being

honestly can’t really imagine what it’s like to have ablebodied friends as a physically disabled person, well i have one but they’re incredibly helpful, and it must be so disappointing to have your ‘friends’ ignore you like that. i’m truly sorry that you had to experience that & you deserve so much better.

you truly think that your friends will be there, and when they’re not, it’s really hard to grasp honestly. like, do you not care?? (you as in the friends).

i’ve had many one sided friendships where i’ve had to do all the work, while getting nothing in return myself. it truly feels like a betrayal.

i’m incredibly happy to be surrounded by physically disabled friends, because in a special way, i can ALWAYS rely on them. there are days where their issues are worse than mine, or they are hindered by their physical disability so they can’t help with something; but they will always think about how they can help in case they can’t help in a specific way. it’s just a completely other experience than with able bodied ppl.

i truly hope you’ll get surrounded by more physically disabled people in your life, it’s a game changer.

oh boy. do you even know what you've done? I am going to talk about this blue creature SO MUCH!!!!! (no but fr thank you for enabling me to talk about one of my fav characters!!!)

I'm just gonna be rambling with no general direction, so i apologize if this gets a smidge confusing..... Everything else will be under a read more since i don't want this post to make it hard to scroll through my blog if it gets too long.

so.. Splat 3 was my first game in the series. I knew about the other splatoon games obviously, and i was eagerly awaiting splatoon 3 since by the time i got a switch it would have been a waste to buy splat 2. So i went into splatoon 3 with very minimal knowledge of the characters/setting.

But when i saw Shiver in the Deep Cut announcement trailer??? It was love at first sight. Blue is my favorite color and the swag Shiver has is off the charts. Plus the hype around a potentially nonbinary character?? And imma be honest, i'm a sucker for smug characters. Especially the ones who are secretly failures. It's just one of my fav tropes.

So in short: Shiver was a character who had a lot of appeal for me in the beginning. But slowly over time as i came to learn more about her and the rest of Deep Cut, i came to appreciate them even more in new ways. Shiver is smug, sarcastic, and can come off as mean or over the top. But she is also silly, quirky, and has a lot of love in her heart for others. She cares about Frye, Bug Man, and all of Splatsville. She says silly things that don't make sense. She likes puns. She takes the time to listen to Sheldon's rambles. She is so much more than what you see on the surface. And it can be so easy to see her teasing her bandmates and assume she is mean or cold hearted. But she genuinely is such a fun character!!!!

Her grace, her gnc swag, her cringefail aura, everything about her makes her an amazing character.

And now, for some headcanons in no particular order:

I kinda see Shivers gender as "whatever is funniest/best in the moment. Commit to the bit of genders. But if i had to pick one thing to headcanon them as it would be pangender or maybe genderfluid. Uses all pronouns plus some shark themed neos like bite/biteself and fin/finself and anything else like that. Im gonna be mostly sticking to she/her and they/them for this post just cuz i think that's what people will be most used to. But really any gender hc for Shiver is correct in my head. MTF? Correct. Nonbinary? Correct. FTM? Correct. Genderfluid? Correct/ Bigender? Correct. Anything and anything goes an i love seeing everyone's takes on it!

I'm gonna go ahead and say trans woman Shiver has a special place in my heart. I just feel like i never see anyone hc this but i also feel like it works?? Idk... The same can be said for genderfluid Shiver. I myself am genderfluid so i rlly like that hc!

Mayhaps has a touch of the tism. (me too) I just feel like she doesn't read social cues well. Can mask really well but doesn't do it around Frye and Big Man for the most part. I think all of Deep Cut is autistic tbh. With Frye having ADHD as well. (ME TOO)

I'm caught between the headcanons of "secretly rlly strong cuz of archery" and "lowkey weak cuz it would be funny to contrast w Frye being strong". But i lean more on the side of both of them being strong. Just Frye having more obvious muscles. But if you look at Shiver she def if strong. And graceful. Like a predator built for ambush or stalking. She moves with purpose. Ya know what i mean? Like she seems very graceful and delicate at first but that is NOT the case.

I gotta be careful or this will turn into general Deep Cut hcs cuz i wanna talk about Big Man and Frye as well lol

Loses her temper easily. Can be petty when things don't go her way.

Master Mega is very special to them. She spent a lot of time with him when she was younger and her parents were busy.

Shiver whistles a lot as a stim/just for fun.

Big Man and Frye are the best hype men ever for Shiver. There are certain points in the game where she says absolute nonsense but those two are right there to back her up. They also don't understand what he's saying, but they are gonna act as if it's the smartest thing ever. Shiver thinks she is the coolest thing ever and those two only enable her. Shiver is the type of person to spend 30 minutes making her food look pretty before she serves it. It has to look good or else.

Is a decent cook. Frye likes to steal bits of food from whatever she is working on so Shiver will playfully smack her with her fan and shoo her out of the kitchen.

Is very proud of her singing. She worked very hard to get it as perfect as it is.

Probably used to have a violent streak in middle school, would bite people. Has since learned to control her anger better.

Very confident. Isn't afraid of things like public speaking.

Gets annoyed easily when overstimulated. Sometimes snaps at people when the environment is too noisy/bright or if she is tired. Tries to apologizes afterwards.

Speaking of apologies, she is the type of person to do something nice for you or get you food/a present for you rather tha admit she is wrong. Is embarrassed easily and instead prefers wordless apologies.

Is flustered easily. One of the ways to easily make her lose her cool is to do anything remotely flirty or to bring up something embarrassing she did in the past.

I need to talk more about the scene hug scene of 5x11

Because they're both pissed about being basically back to square one

But Oz wants recognition, appreciation, he seeks it like we saw in season 3. “We saved this city from certain damnation, but will we see any credit for our loyalty, our selfless bravery? Of course not!”

Ed says "I don't want their thanks or their respect" but Oswald does. Ed wants attention and to have fun basically and doesn't give a fuck about anything else, 3x15, “The point wasn’t to kill a bunch of cops, it was you playing my game.” (it is also true Ed doesn't rlly kill people unless necessary or ppl that hurt him as he says to Jim in a previous episode)

Oswald is slightly different

3x16, Convo between Oz and Gabe "We all followed you out of fear" "Actually, I can live with that, fear and respect, management 101" "no one ever respected you" and he hates that

Oswald is emotional and in a way he cares about people. In his own way, that's for sure: he cares about what people think of him and how they see him, at least partially.

From the same convo "We all saw what you really are. A tiny freak who used to hold an umbrella" and that was hard enough to hear that he went in rage mode

Ed says here "You know what I felt, standing shoulder to shoulder with those people out there? Nothing."

Which is different from Oswald's confrontation with Jim at the pier in 5x12 "You and I stood shoulder to shoulder on those barricades, ready to die for this city. Six months later, you locked me up like an animal!"

And we also see the giant ego of Ed, going "They will bow, to the Riddler, and they won’t get up until I permit them to.” and before, how much he hates how he used to be, looking in the mirror, saying "Shy, awkward, pathetic Ed."

All of this seems an intricate obsessive way to prove himself he's worthy, to prove himself he's not weak. “All my life i felt like there’s someone inside me, stronger and smarter, that people would fear. No one else saw that.” 3x15, Ed and Lucius conversation. And don't get me even started on Lucius saying "Except Oswald" and Ed confirming cus this isn't about that.

Now you might be "Ed also cares about how people see him tho" and reference the various times his actions were described as mad, him as a psycho of some sort. But I feel like that's more about seeing him crazy and not a genius or whatever than actually caring about how ppl see him, it has more to do with his ego and so I think it's different from Oswald's perspective.

Now back to this scene. I also like how Oz says basically nothing for the whole speech Ed does, before starting and renting that people should have let him run things, because then the city would have been fine, he had this and that

And Ed half interrupts him, pointing a finger at him saying "Gordon took them. Why? because he still sees you as Fish Mooney’s umbrella boy, and he always will.” and Oz has this half realization, weakly saying "Yes". Because again, they both hate being seen as weak and prove the world wrong but Ed wants to prove that to himself more than the world.

Oz probably also has the insecurities of being weak, this and that, but I wonder if that's because how he sees himself or if these insecurities originated from the outside, from the way others sees him. Because with the way he was raised by his mother, I feel like he had this half of confidence and half of non confidence but being like "oh I'm a nobody? Oh I'm weak? Oh I'll fucking show you how weak I am, how useless I am, how much of a nobody i am" and I take this from also the line in season 1 "This nobody still out foxed you at every turn"

Like Idk I just feel like they have so much parallelism but at the same time so many differences

Back again to the scene. It's Ed who says "I only came back to help him save this city so I could take it for myself.”

Like ya with Oswald taking the city is basically always implied but the second man has a deeper connection with the city. And without even talking about Ed always having to be with someone. Because what he did with Lee is basically what he did in the mayor era, it's like he has this need of almost codependency and when he's not having that with someone what he does? Making people follow his games! Making them pawns in his game! Make a quiz show! Attention, attention and fun and games and riddles and nothing else if not searching for someone to be the new person he can attach himself to. And that leads me to believe that's the reason he stayed for Oz, without even talking ab romantic implications.

But I'm getting off the rails

So, Oswald is the one to propose to work together "We would be so strong together." Like when in a previous episode he went to Ed to escape from Gotham together “We’ve been through all of this before. I’ve tried to kill you. You’ve tried to kill me. But here we are in this room. Together. It means fate has different plans for us.”

And they think ab it for a second, Ed still looking in the mirror, he adjusts his jacket and does the smaller smirk I've ever seen and like, is it bc he's feeling confident? Is he think about working with Oswald?

And Oz takes the knife from his leg brake and hides it before talking about the pact.

And Ed already position his knife behind his back and when Oswald proposes a hug, the blade is out.

And at the start Ed's blade is up and he turns it down so that it's easier during the hug to stab Oz in the back

While Oswald's stays up.

And like from the start of the hug Oswald's eyes are tearish (or at least they're very lucid)

And it's like 0.2 seconds where they're both waiting, and Ed is in position to stabs him and his hand is barely shaking but he cannot do it and after this wait

Oz is so happy and hugs him tighter and I'm gonna cry pls and he has this small sighs out of relief and also he's not pointing the blade at Ed' back, so he's hugging him with both arms

And Ed hugs him tighter too mind you with just one arm and smiles and omg I cannot do this

And the embrace ends, Oswald's knife ends in his pocket and he says "Life beings anew"

And Ed smiles again even more and put his knife in the pocket AND THE WAY THEY LOOK IN EACH OTHER'S EYES, SMILING

oh no decisions and being given freedom to talk about anything....

I just rlly care them lots <3 I could talk an essay about the ship, they're beloved to me. they're really sweet, and they make me smile lots!! they compliment each other rlly well as charas and as a dynamic-- I love how they both uplift each other's strengths and help them grow past their weaknesses. friends to lovers is a ship dynamic that I'm v soft for and I think they do it rlly well and respectfully,,, I sent a little ship meme I made ages ago last post that talks about a few silly headcanons but they just fulfill a lot of tropes that I love.

it's really interesting to me that they parallel each other a lot-- they both end up visibly questioning what they're doing and the team that they're a part of, but are trapped in it for different reasons. they're both kinda the one spot of normalcy for the other in Meteor-- which isn't a good environment for either of them to be trapped in. both of them seem pretty reluctant to battle the player (i.e. stuff like using gimmick sets, visible reluctance and dialogue surrounding fights), and only do so because of orders and obligations-- I get the feeling that the MC in a story instead of a game (and absolutely plan on capitalizing on this) would absolutely pick up on the fact that both of them never really... try. both of them just don't really ever want to fight you-- whereas some other characters like Blake, Zero, Fern, etc will pretty much always throw everything they've got. that along with them being really close in age (canonically! the exact ages are left ambiguous, as is the same for most other characters, but it's mentioned that they're very close in age) and they just are both really fun to talk about and to draw and write together. I love how they still are there for each other even when Meteor's no longer a thing and I love thinking about how much both of them finally having that freedom can help both their relationship and them as characters grow.

it's an AU but it's also pretty heavily canon-based in terms of characterization (although events diverge a lot from canon!) so I love the two of them in Margo's AU as well-- Martakace (Meteorshowershipping) is one of my fav ships along with Takace (Royalcourtshipping) rn <3

HI if you're here! i have SO many thoughts about martakace and MC/Ace/Taka as a polyship outside of Margo bc they're a power throuple hdfsdf. since Ace doesn't send their letter, now neither of them know where to go, and they end up leaving to the desert together. neither are really very prepared, and they're both kinda in a rush so they don't have many supplies beyond food and healing items and their backpacks. they can't use their PC of course since Terra would zero onto them in an instant so they only have the teams that they carry on them (Ace's is modified a little to split between the mons they share on other teams), although they miss their other Pokemon dearly.

they end up sleeping on the sand together one night and wake up to find Margo on the platform the next day and the reaction is panic initially. Margo's absolutely been able to tell that neither of them have really wanted to fight throughout the game and they see that these two people are panicked and unprepared and just. protec. Taka and Ace are panicked on the other hand and just think "okay if they're here then the others aren't far behind and then it's gameover for us." so they're a mix between terrified and betrayed and resigned. but then the three of them are traveling together and they're just both. confused. Taka and Ace are obviously very close with each other but here they're kind of questioning whether this is even the same person that they heard rumors of with meteor? and Margo calls them friends for the first time and it's kinda the start of both of them developing a sort of puppy love crush-- where it's kind of just that Margo is very cool and thoughtful and kind to them. their feelings for each other are obviously the kind of thing that's never been acted upon-- Margo encourages them to be more open with themselves as well as with each other-- so Taka and Ace end up getting together in Train Town after having a first kiss one night very late in their travels when the three of them are stuck on top of Teknite at night. Margo refuses to take the Gible when they're all in Sugiline and adopts a Trapinch instead, and doesn't take the sword either when the three of them are atop the tower.

Margo just encourages both of them to be more open-- Taka to be more confident, and Ace that it's okay to be vulnerable and to put themself first sometimes-- since they have a habit of neglecting themself in favor of worrying about others (such as Taka and Margo). Taka and Ace help each other grow and end up growing closer as friends due to being able to communicate more, and grow into not just being used to acting as stepping stones-- but instead wanting to actively help others and do things. there's a lot of other canon divergences-- Labradorra City+tournament and Victory Road are big ones due to both Ace and Taka being involved in that and in a relationship now, and their feelings for Margo growing more (they don't get together until postgame after Margo comes back from the New World, though, so it's slowburn on that end).

there's so much more but I . will stop rambling. thank you for listening shdfsdkfsd I will talk more about either of them until the cows come home but this ask is getting too long and I'm getting embarrassed. I love them v much <3

I'm very shy around people I don't know, but once I'm really comfortable with someone I'm very outgoing and talkative. I think I have a pretty calm personality but my mind is more energetic as I can't really express how I'm feeling even when I'm really happy. When I meet new people I always do a vibe check with them, although I don't consciously do it. I’m not really interested in people that give me bad vibes and I avoid them most of the time. However, I trust the people who give me good vibes right away. I’m the happiest when I get to have some time to myself, but I love going outside with people that I love. Im constantly trying to understand myself better. I think people see me as a reserved and cold person, I think it's because of my calm face and “don't approach me”-attitude. But I'm really generous to the people who are close to me. Im a person that needs Harmony in her life, which means I’m the loudest around quiet people and the quietest around loud people. I used to be very close to a lot of people, but now I'm quite a loner. I have some friends but I'm not really close to them, we're just good friends. Im a optimist and my goal in life is just to be happy and be the best version of myself.

I'm also good with technology and numbers, but I don't do it on purpose, I just do it and somehow it's right. I love music and everything that goes with it because I truly believe that music makes me a happier person and I can't go without it for very long. I prefer upbeat songs to slower ones, unless the lyrics are meaningful. I also love to dance, but only when I'm alone. In general, I would say that I prefer to listen to music alone, simply because I'm not that comfortable with other people. I also like cooking but I don’t like cooking for others because, again, I cook messily and majority of them always complain about the shapes of the food tbh 😭. I also like to work out but like only if it’s in the morning because I don’t rlly have enough time for them afterwards. But like I’m not a sport freak or smth I only really do it for my health and to be fit not because I rlly enjoy it itself. I also like playing games it doesn’t rlly matter if alone or with friends, like you can always count on me that I’m gonna play with you. I have a hamster, her name is Megan, she is so fluffy and and cute. My favorite part of the day is probably when I’m doing my night routine especially my skin care routine, because I don’t have time everyday to do it but every time I do I just feel so pretty. I love to wear anything that makes me comfortable but at the same time pretty. Generally you could say that I like every color but my favorites are pink,green,yellow,white,bluish mint. if it's a public space or an event where you have to socialize and interact with others and he notices you feeling uncomfortable he will take you to a less crowded place to give u a bunch of kisses and reassure you that everything will be just fine <3

Records the conversations (and of course you agree to that robot voice rattling off the reasons for recording, you don't think there is anything else to it other than documentation) so he can replay them over and over, doesn't put in the order for your parts or the wrong one so you call again, frustrated and afraid your warranty is already over - because it's so nice to hear you being a bit desperate and genuinely clueless. This is his field and you don't know shit - when he tries to walk you through the 'repair' (probably just smearing some heat paste on the cpu) you have NO clue what the different parts are - "We can test the RAM first if you'd like" - "The what? Do you mean those black bars?" and then he just sighs and says yes. This is so funny to me, oh goodness - maybe he can get you to grant him access to your cloud with some bullshit reasoning so he can stalk you from miles away 😂 Shigaraki at his best. Also: His e-mails are always full of typos and weird grammatical errors. He just doesn't care. also this is so nice to see I'm incredibly nervous because of next week and thinking about stuff like this is such a nice little break you don't even know

"How is this person not over you? That's like the tenth one this month," Jay said, looking over Jake as he reads the letter from his secret admirer. Jake has always been receiving these letters from the same person everyday for the past four months. He's thankful for the letters because they definitely make his day better, knowing that there's someone out there who loves him as who he is regardless of looks. He's not gonna lie that these little notes and letters make his heart race too. "Do you have any plans with finding the person behind the letters?" Jay asked as he watches his best friend trying to hide the small smile that's been growing. No one really knows who this mysterious person is and why they decided to name themselves the moon, but we don't judge anyone in here. If they want to be the moon in their next life, then so be it. "I really want to find the person who's making these letters," Jake shoved the letter in his backpack, trying to not wrinkle it. "But I don't know where to start." "Who's finding who?" A voice popped suddenly beside the presence of the two boys. You leaned beside the locker beside Jake's, watching him as he grabs his books from his locker. "Did Moon drop your daily letter today again?" "They did as usual," Jake wasn't even surprised. He would expect the letters every time he enters the school in the morning. He would open his locker to see the usual small letter placed inside his locker. He usually arrives at seven or earlier, but he's surprised that he could never even catch a glance of this anonymous sender around the campus. "Should I go to school at five in the morning?" "Five in the morning? Isn't that a bit too early?" You questioned, followed by a shaky breath. "The school doesn't even open until six." "I could just walk to that nearby convenience store I always pass by to grab a coffee." He argues, closing his locker shut before walking towards his classroom.

You and Jay followed beside him, and you sneered under your breath, "You don't even wake up to your alarm clock."

"Why don't you even want me to go early anyway?" He glances as you try to give him an answer. But before you could say something, Jay replies first.

"You’re probably hiding something." He said. You rolled your eyes and narrowed your eyes at him. "You are so weird." You grunted, before walking ahead of them. You feel panicked because you were scared that you made yourself obvious to them.

You were inside your classroom sitting on your desk. There were only fifteen minutes left before lunch, but you had eaten your packed meal before instead of going to your school cafeteria. You were fidgeting in your place, conflicted about Jake finding his secret admirer, not knowing that it was you who's been sending him letters the past few months. You're not scared of him finding out that the letters were from you; that was the entire reason why you wrote him letters in the first place. You're scared of how he was gonna confront you about it. Would he like you back? Would he hate you? Would he avoid you?

Your mind was full of scenarios but you were suddenly brought back to reality when a hand planted itself on your desk. You look up and saw Jay standing in front of you, eating sushi with his other hand. His face kinda looks like he knows something, and it's freaking you out a bit.

"What?" You asked, suddenly flustered over how his eyes stared right into you. He took the seat in front of your desk and flipped it so it was facing you. He sat down and blurted the phrase that you were dreading to hear from anyone.

"So, you like Jake?"

You suddenly feel like punching him in the face with his sushi.

"What??" Your body felt like, and you were left a nervous mess. Your heart like it was going to pump right out of your chest any minute, and your hands started to sweat.

Jay's mouth formed into a smirk. He caught you. "Jake may be a bit oblivious, but I can totally see right through you."

“Haha...no you don’t,” You tried to deny, but it was all useless when his expression looked unconvinced.

“Oh yeah? Then why are you all red? You look like a bursting tomato.”

“You don’t know that," You leaned further into your seat, playing with the strings of your hoodie.

“C’mon Y/N, you’re not even trying. Just give up and admit it,” Jay was trying to help you confess your feelings for Jake. Frankly, he knew it was you sending him letters this whole time—how can Jake not see it?

With a heavy sigh, you slumped and laid your head on your desk, embarrassed. “Fine. I like him, okay? Are you happy now?”

The smirk on his face grew wider, feeling proud of himself. You are not dealing with his annoying crap this early in the morning. He grinned and munched on his half-eaten sushi. “I knew it.”

“Congratulations,” It was muffled because you hid your red face away from him. All that was on your mind now was how you could book yourself a flight all the way across the world.

“But seriously, since when did you have a crush on him?” You raised your head to face him, giving him a look that could kill, except Jay finds it entertaining rather than intimidating.

“I started having a crush on him when we were in fifth grade. It was at a friend's birthday party, and he saw me being all quiet and lonely. Honestly, I forgot who’s birthday that was.” You told him the very first time you had discovered feelings.

“He saw how sad I looked so he accompanied me the whole time. He was even trying to feel more included in the games and stuff.” You felt a smile ghosting on your lips as you can still vividly remember how you felt your heart tug the first time. “It was kinda like I fell in love at first sight.”

Jay faked a gag, so you lightly punched him in the shoulder. He may be a bit of an asshole, but he’s one the most caring and kind people you’ve ever met. It honestly felt good spilling out your feelings about Jake to him.

Speaking of, Jake was watching you two play around and laugh at Jay's little jokes from outside, and he felt something burning from inside him. Was it that he felt jealous of you and Jay?

"Yeojin!" Jake called, seeing her walk down the opposite way. "Hey, mind if I ask you something?"

"Hey Jake," She greeted him with a smile. "Sure, go ahead."

"Could you perhaps give me any information about your partner in Chemistry?" He had hopes of getting any kind of description about his mysterious sender, but he was instead given a sad frown on Yeojin's face.

"Sorry Jake, but that person told me not to tell you about their information." She gave an apologetic smile. "I wish you all the best in finding them!"

Jake muttered a small "okay," and sighed before walking away, feeling defeated.

Yeojin knew that he was gonna ask about Moon the moment he called her from across the hall. She couldn't wait to tell you about this.

"Hey Y/N," A voice said from behind. You turned around to see Jake with his backup hung on his shoulder. He brought his hand up and raked his hair, and you felt your face grow red. Jake is like a gift from the gods. How can someone look so ethereal even if they're just standing there? You could stare at him all day. You couldn't even understand a thing he said until he started waving his hands in front of you.

"Hello?" You blinked multiple times as you were brought back out to reality. You saw Jake's face grow into concern. "Are you okay? spaced out."

"O-oh..No, I'm completely fine." You reassured him, feeling embarrassed. "What were you saying again?"

"I was asking you if you wanted to go to school with me early tomorrow."

Well, shit.

Your eyes started to go wide, and your hands started to go clammy.

"Tomorrow?" You repeated, voice trembling.

'Well, yeah." He pouted his lips, and you felt like melting into a small puddle in your place. Your heart started to pound heavily.

"Okay, sure I can go with you tomorrow," You weakly smiled at him, slightly tense.

"Good Morning," Jake said as he watches you close the gates of your house. It was past five in the morning, and you were a mess.

"Morning," You replied back before running your fingers through your hair, getting rid of any flyaways.

As you started walking your way to the bus stop, Jake kept on glancing towards you from time to time. He knew you were pretty, but since when did you become really beautiful in his eyes?

The walk was pretty quiet, but it was a comfortable silence. For him, mostly.

Meanwhile, you couldn't stop freaking out. You had written a letter the night before, but you don't know how you were going to slip it into his locker without him taking notice. If he saw you, he would know.

"Are you sure you're okay? You've been like this since yesterday," Jake blurted. You looked at him before heaving a sigh.

"It's nothing," You mouthed, suddenly feeling anxious and gloomy.

"Something on your mind?"

"Something like that." It was hopeless. I guess he would have to miss this letter today. It was the first time you skipped a day, and you're feeling guilty that you would have to see Jake's face sadden that he wouldn't receive it today.

As you two stop at the bus stop, Jake looked slightly panicked as he was rummaging through the pockets of his blazer before looking through his bag. "Hey, do you have an extra pen? I left mine at home and I have a quiz today."

You snickered, "Out of all the days, Sim Jake. The same day you have a quiz is the same day you forget your pen."

"Very funny." He scoffed.

As you unzipped your bag to grab your pencil case, a folded piece of paper fell out without you realizing it. When Jake went to pick it up, he notices that it was folded the same way as the letters in his locker. It looked so identical.

Once you already got your pencil case out, you were about to hand it to him when you saw what he was holding that made your body freeze with your hand holding the case in the air.

"Why were one of my letters inside your bag?" He glanced at you, waiting for you to reply.

If you were freaking out before, this is a whole other thing. The thing that you were fearing the most is happening right before you.

"Maybe it fell into my bag yesterday..." You stammered, making up an excuse to look like it was an accident. You were tightly holding onto your pencil case, chanting many curse words in your head as you watch Jake unfold the letter.

"I don't think I've received this one yet," He said before he opened the letter and read it.

You watch as his expression formed into confusion as he reads through the paper. It only took a few moments before something in him clicked that it was you sending him the letters.

"Y/N," He began, and you started quivering in fear.

You should've known this would happen, but you didn't expect it to happen this sooner. In fact, you believed that this wouldn't happen at all. But it did.

"Let me explain," You eventually gave up and accepted fate and watch as your identity as "Moon" be revealed to your crush. You're now exposed so you didn't have any other choice but to explain everything. "Yes, I am Moon. I was the one writing you the letters that you've been getting in your locker."

Jake's face was unreadable. He looked bewildered and puzzled. He was trying to comprehend what was happening right now. All this time, it was you?

"I started crushing on you when we attended that birthday party before. I didn't want to confess my feelings for you because I was scared that you were going to harshly reject me, so I started writing down letters as a way to tell you how I feel about you without making you feel awkward around me." You continued, eyes suddenly taking an interest in your shoes. They were brand new too.

Jake was silent, and you felt your heart crack into pieces. You were mad at yourself for being so careless about it that he ended up finding out about you as his secret admirer. You wanted nothing else but to run back home, lock yourself in your room and cry with your sad playlist on loop.

You were expecting a harsh rejection coming from him, but what surprised was how he took dangerous steps towards you, minimizing the gap between you two. He placed his hand under your chin, forcing you to look up at him.

"I don't plan on rejecting you Y/N," You stare into his eyes as it reflects the sunlight of the early morning. "I'm actually happy that it was you."

You look at him, puzzled. He lowly chuckles under his breath before leaning over to place his lips against yours. It was a light, quick kiss, but it brought you feeling ecstatic. You've dreamed of this moment before, and now that it happened, you thanked your clumsiness.

As he pulled away, you were sure your face was a red mess.

"Thank you," His smile was as bright as the stars in the sky. It was the most beautiful thing you've ever seen. "Thank you for making me like I'm special to someone."

You felt flustered over his words. You were scared that he could hear the sound of your heart pounding loudly. The butterflies in your stomach were going wild, and you felt like this was all a dream.

"So, what am I to you now?" You broke into a smile as he grabs your hand, intertwining your fingers with his.

Jake acted as if he was thinking, "Hm..maybe my best friend still?"

He bursts into a fit of giggles as he sees your smile slowly disappear, replacing it with a look of disbelief. You removed your hand from his and walked at a faster pace away from him.

He ran to match your pace beside you before holding your hand again, "I'm sorry, I won't ever do that again. Is my girl mad at me?"

"Oh my god, it's only five-fifty, Jake." You too broke into laughter over his cheesiness, but your heart fluttered over the thought of Jake calling you his.

A/N: hihihi ok so this idea literally came to me while reading another fic (i cant remember it now im super sorry) and it wouldnt leave my head so i couldnt NOT write it yk? pls keep in mind that it gets rlly soft at the end and really out of character😭 i just hc that does affectionate things during an adrenaline rush, like he's too hyped to care ab what going on around him he just wants to see you, and so this is basically where that came from kasjkhasd- also this is not meant to be spicy at all whatsoever (although some remarks from the others are made that way when you read) its supposed to be romantic and lighthearted, so pls dont think its that sexual😭 also thank you @awmahleebkg my wife for giving me the confidence to post this i love you baby <333

Watching Kei play was one of your favorite things to do. Sure, that might sound a little sad, but watching him and his team working together on the court was something that you wouldn't miss the world for. Until an away game came along, it taking place somewhere farther than they usually are, and since you weren't a part of the team, you couldn't take the school bus with them. So, you took the city bus. He might have told you not to, he might have told you to wait at your house for him to return and tell you about it, but you couldn't help it. This was an important game, and you needed to be there and support him.

He was nervous, although someone who didn't know as well as you wouldn't be able to tell, you were always able to see right through him. Always able to tell when he was nervous or scared, even intimidated. He found it annoying, that you were always there for him, confused as to why you dedicated your time for him, but years after your first meeting he realized that he would do the same for you. You didn't know that his heartbeat the same way for you as it did for him, and he sure as hell didn't know that the reason you stuck by him all these years was to feel that exact heartbeat next to yours.

[3:37 P.M.]

Kei <3: Stay home, y/n

Y/n: but it's an important game! i want to cheer you on!

Kei <3: I'll tell you what happens after I get home if you really want me to. But stop whining at me it's annoying.

Y/n: 😠😠 let. me. go.

Kei <3: No.

Kei <3: Sure you do

You wouldn't listen to him, of course. Why would you? You get your bag ready to leave, filling it with snacks and water bottles to help the team out.

By the time you snuck in, it was half-way past the second set. Tensions were high and sweat was dripping off their jaws while they gain each point. You made sure to stay a little quieter, not wanting Kei's attention to be drifted away from the game, especially since you weren't supposed to be there. By the time they won that set, they were tied with the other team. One more set left, things are getting really heated.

The score remained close to each other throughout the game, Karasuno being two points away from a win with their opponent three points behind them. Watching Kei as he looks at the floor with frustrated eyes, obviously mad at himself for not doing better. He frowns, taking a sip of water so no one sees it. You can see a slight tint of fear in his eyes- he was scared of losing the set. Although all you've seen were blocks of perfection, even a couple spikes that hit the court floor aggressively, points going towards Karasuno once more, he thought he wasn't doing good enough. You knew he was amazing, everyone in the room knew it too, so why didn't he?

He jogs back on the court after a timeout from the other team, getting into a serve/receive position, waiting for the ball to come over the net. The server on the other team hit the ball over, sending it straight to Nishinoya, who receives the ball perfectly, passing it to Kageyama. Backing up into the set, Hinata runs behind Kageyama, surprising the blockers on the other side of the net when Hinata smacks the floating ball down with his might. Instead of the ball hitting the floor, the left-back position receives the ball at the seam, shanking it towards the audience.

Another point.

The crowd goes wild and the air tightens as the scoreboard raises. You bounce on the bleachers and stomp your feet in excitement, knowing that this match would be over soon.

Kei exhales sharply at the whistle, relief, and nervousness seeping out of him. He can do it, he thought. Only one more point. When the ball passes him to the other side of the court, quickly moves to the right side of the net, jumping and completely regretting his decision once the ball hits the floor. He watches the ball trail off in shock, the whistle suddenly getting too loud for him. He grits his teeth in defeat, thinking that it would be over for them. His head faces the ground, his hands are balled up in fists. That's when you decide to take initiative.

Inhaling a harsh breath, you stand up putting your hands on each side of your face before yelling out to him.

"TSUKISHIMA KEI!!!"

His head whips from the floor, his eyes widening once they find yours in the big crowd. You stand out- to him at least.

"DON'T GIVE UP!!! YOU GOT THIS!! LET'S GO!!"

His pupils dilate at your figure cheering him on, suddenly wishing he hadn't told you to stay home. He didn't know you were there, or how you get here in the first place, but he was glad you came. He wanted you there. His shocked expression turned into a smirk of confidence before he turns back around and goes to his position. The whistle blows once more, telling the server that they can go. He refocuses on the court, watching the ball and everyone near it, analyzing everyone's movements and predicting where the ball is going to go. The big spiker on the other team runs towards the net with his approach, swinging his arms back, ready to slam the ball down as Kei quickly beats him to it, jumping and raising his arms on top of the net in defense.

The ball smacks the floor of the court.

Kei's eyes glow when his feet touch the ground again.

They won.

He tries his best to catch his breath, heaving once his teammates trample him on the ground. You scream in victory, jumping up and down, sprinting down the bleachers to the team, them welcoming you with tight hugs and cries of joy. Electricity coursed through Kei's veins, adrenaline making his sight clearer, his hearing less muffled and his breathing a lot clearer.

You see Kei on the other side of the court, getting up and steadying himself on his feet once you two lock eyes. You run towards him with a fast pace, him reciprocating as his legs speed up toward you. You jump on him, clinging to him as much as you could when wrapping your legs around him, digging your head in his shoulder. His hand immediately grab the back of your thighs for support, helping your body balance on his while you tug on his neck.

You praise him, telling him how proud you were of him picking himself up and being the best, telling him how amazing his blocks and spikes were, how amazing he was. You could hear his breathless laughs of joy, a genuine smile painting his face when you subconsciously pepper his face in firm pecks from your lips, showering him in sweet affection for his win.

"YOU DID SO AMAZING KEI!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! THAT WAS SO COOL!! YOU SHOULDA SEEN YOURSELF OUT THERE! OH MY GOD THAT WAS- THAT WAS PERFECT!! I KNOW YOU WERE DOUBTING YOURSELF A LITTLE BIT BUT YOU WERE AMAZING THE WHOLE TIME I MEAN-"

Your words muffle when his lips crash onto your- a rough, exciting kiss that has you moaning in his mouth from surprise and desperation from wanting this for the longest time. Your hands slide up from his neck to his cheeks, palming them and pulling him closer while your lips disconnect and reconnect rapidly, not being able to get enough of each other. His hands subtly, but firmly squeeze your thighs while you tilt your head, giving him the chance to kiss you deeper. The amount of emotion going through your bodies, desperation, love, excitement, impatience, relief, mixing with the adrenaline in your system's causing your worlds to finally collide and mix.

"What are they doing?"

"I don't know but I feel like I'm interrupting something"

"I think they're the ones interrupting"

OK so

Skin color is a VERY sensitive topic in the genshin fandom

But I stopped giving a shit and I'm feelin pretty bold today

I don't rlly like it when people draw Kaeya and Xinyan's skin color w a darker shade than they are in the game/offical arts, like I mean w a skin tone that's really darker

BUT BUT BEFORE YOU THINK IM RACIST

I HAVE NOTHIN AGAINST DRAWING CHARACTERS IN A DIFFERENT RACE/DIFFERENT SKIN TONE IF YOURE DOING IT FOR FUN OR A CHALLENGE I ONLY HATE IT WHEN YOU SAY "i FiXeD iT" or think you 'fixed it'🤦🏻‍♀️

The reason I don't really like it is cuz

Xinyan and Kaeya are not black 🧍🏻‍♀️

They are tan

And it annoys me when people draw them as if they are black people

Xinyan firstly is from Liyue, a Chinese-based reigon, like have yall never seen tan asians 💀💀💀💀

Before you get on my ass abt this, I AM ASIAN MYSELF🤨 and my complexion is a mix of tan and smidge pale as well

And kaeya, oh sweet kaeya (lol), he's from Khaenriah (idk if I spelt it right), a reigon that we have no fucking idea about, hell, i dont even think Khaenriah is a place based on a real place in our world like the other 7 nations are

Paimon even jokes abt how Kaeya might be wearing a eyepatch to hide the fact that he's got a bad tan line

So what im saying is,

If you want to draw Xinyan and Kaeya w darker skin tone, go ahead, I can't and won't stop you

But plz for the love of God dont say you fixed them cuz you drew them darker

But instead I'd highly encourage creating black/poc oc's

I think that's all I got to say, this side of the topic is rlly sensitive to speak of but I just wanted to let it out of my head cuz the fandom goes batshit crazy over this

One final note: I get it, it absolutely sucks that hoyo-verse didn't add and probably will never add black characters and the closest to one is gonna be Sumeru which I think is an Egyptian based reigon, but seeing the Sumeru npcs and Cyno, I don't think theres gonna be much of a darker skin tone than kaeya and xinyan's on the upcoming Sumeru characters.

And once again, as an Asian myself, here's possibly why, in my culture, east Asia, this kinda obvious but they are obsessed w pale complexions and are attracted to that, but it's just part of their culture now. And as far and I know, Hoyo-verse makes MAJOR bucks mostly from Japan and other non-American countries and probably will not rlly care abt the opinions of Americans
