Featuring some of the new stationery I’ve gotten over the past week! I ordered a couple of journals, some washi tape as I’ve never used them before and wanted to try it out, and also these adorable vintage travel stickers that are just so beautiful! You can put them anywhere and it’s really, really, really cute. They weren’t too expensive either and they include lots of different countries. And yes, of course, I had to make sure there was an Italy one bcs, otherwise, it would’ve been a sad day for all of us. Also, I’ve recently realized that I’ve done more online shopping during this period of time (aka the onset of my gap year) than any other time in my life and perhaps that’s something to meditate about. Anyways, I hope y’all are having a great week so far and don’t forget to breathe and forgive yourself!! 🤍✨

i’m 18 years old & my birthday is july 17th.

i’m from the uk but i was born in the netherlands; i moved to the uk as a child ( ̳• · • ̳)

i would say i’m an extrovert but, i get overwhelmed easily so maybe i’m an ambivert? i’m unsure…

i did biology, chemistry & psychology at a level.

now i’m on my gap year because i deferred so, i’ll start university in 2022 !! yes, i am very excited

i will be studying arabic & english literature ba in london !

i’m multilingual as i do speak a little bit of everything.

arabic is one of my native languages which i hope to develop in university!!

after university, i hope to go into a teaching profession.

Today was my last day of classes as a junior!! I still have finals over the next two weeks and then start the summer classes I've signed up for, but I'm done with classes for the moment! This weekend my family took a break and went to the beach, it was a much needed break after staying cooped up inside all semester. I got a lot of reading for fun done on the trip. The break from a screen was really nice. Also! My all time favorite kpop group may be redebuting under a new name or releasing a special track for their 10th anniversary this month!!! Even though they've been disbanded for a few years I'm excited at the chance of new music!!

Since finishing The Alchemist, I’m now moving on to my next book which is The Notebook! The movie remains my favorite movie of all time and it’s one of the films that really fueled my inner romantic. I didn’t actually think of reading the book until recently and it was just a random thought, but the idea made me happy so I bought it and I’m very excited! Fun fact, regardless of how easy it is for me to watch the movie again, I can’t seem to do it bcs I have this life goal of rewatching it with the love of my life when we meet. I know that’s quite cheesy, but like it’s a movie that’s so close to my heart and I want to share that experience with my person, you know? It’s yearning time, folks. Also, I wanted to share with y’all the beautiful trees in my backyard that have changed colors, aaaah. I see them everyday and my heart softens everytime. As for life updates, I’ve been vibing to more Italian songs, I’m going to a doctor’s appointment today and I’m kinda nervous bcs it’s my first time going out since, uh, literally four months (it’s a lifestyle now) so wish me luck per favore, and I also watched a video abt Notion from this guy on YouTube who does videos abt languages and it’s really interesting and I’m excited to play around with it!! I hope y’all have a lovely week!! 🤍✨
