✎ a/n — bnha fandom i am here again but for my manz izuku. he is just so.... arrggghhh i love older izu aus hes everything to me

"yn, the movies starting!!" ochako screamed. your uni flatmates decided to host a movie night, and with all the stress from finals... it was really something you appreciated.

"on my way! blame kirishima for wanting so many snacks!" you retort, scurrying to the living room where everyone else was.

what bad luck you had. normally the couch was able to hold the lot of you, but jirou had invited her boyfriend, kaminari, to the party. and for the first time, you had the courage to invite your literature classmate, and crush, izuku midoriya.

"theres no more seats..." you mumbled from the kitchen doorway. you werent sure what to do, since this was a problem that never came up. you didnt want to kick anyone off, or disturb anyone since everyone looked comfortable. you also felt a bit down as you missed your chance to sit next to izuku. you knew the others would take a hint, but you never told any of them about your feelings. in the midst of your overthinking, you hadnt noticed the slight turn of izukus head towards your direction. he watched you for a bit as you couldnt come to a solution.

"you can sit on me if you want."

the room fell into silence at izukus statement, jaws dropping in the process. you werent sure if you heard that correctly, nor did anyone else for that matter, as the boy never usually had that kind of confidence — that was something youd expect from kaminari, or bakugo with his girlfriend (a sight youd never expect to see).

"woah, izuku... who knew you were so manly!" kirishima broke the silence, smacking izukus back in the process.

"yeah... woah...!!" "okay puller!!" "sit on- ????"

said boy only blinked his eyes a few times before the realisation of what he really said washed through him. in just a few seconds, he found himself stuttering and waving his hands in the air, sweating profusely. "i-i meant on my lap! seriously! i mean!! she looked stressed!! i didnt mean anything bad i promise!"

you had nothing to say, except laugh. his rambling was sort of cute. but you knew izuku was just a friend, he was only being considerate — its in his nature. "come on guys, you know what midoriya meant."

despite being incredibly shy when it came to all things izuku, you didnt want to miss this chance. you walked over to him, sitting across his lap and resting your back on the arm rest. the edge of the armrest was hard, so izuku slipped his arm there before you even laid your back. his arm was eventually going to ache, you thought, but he still did it anyways. everyone else seemed to have gotten distracted or bored after seeing izukus reaction, and went onto their usual chit chatter before starting the movie.

"thank you midoriya. i didnt know what to do." you quietly admitted, a bit flustered as you were sitting on his lap, playing with your hands awkwardly.

"no worries. i know how it is to overthink. i just hope youre comfortable?" he asked with a sheepish smile, noticing how awkward you were. it took you aback — was he always this thoughtful?

"y-yeah. i am." you looked away, not being able to bare any more eye contact with him. you guys were only friends, and you hadnt been in a relationship in years... maybe thats why you felt the way you did.

the movie went on, entrancing everyone into it. you on the one hand couldnt focus on anything but the mere fact you were sitting on izukus lap, and you werent sure why you even did so. the urge just to melt into him was strong, but you prevailed since you convinced yourself you "didnt want to take advantage of his kindness", even though the boy fully invited you to get comfortable. your neck was currently in a bit of pain from craning it to the side, and you felt too shy to move incase you block his vision or invade his personal space. why did you sit in this position? were you dumb? you were literally frozen trying to not distract him from the movie — something you wish youd be enjoying too.

"your necks going to hurt if you keep on craning it that way. wanna face forward?" midoriya whispered in your ear as to not disturb the others. you felt how close he was in the midst of your overthinking, and it jolted you, oblivious to midoriya. it made him chuckle, but his breath against your skin lingered even when you jolted away. you wanted to chase that feeling again, but fought against it.

"if thats fine... with you i mean!" you exclaimed — you were so thankful it was dark. you didnt want him to see you flustered over his actions when he was just trying to be kind. you wouldnt have minded sitting on anyone elses lap at this moment of time, or even the floor. his actions didnt make you uncomfortable, but rather made you want to-

"of course yn. get as comfortable as you want! think of me as like... a chair!" he quietly joked. you couldnt find that funny in the way he did, but it definitely felt funny to you. it didnt help how you were already feeling. the butterflies in your stomach were running rampage, and below that... you just hoped he didnt feel anything on his thighs. he clearly didnt realise what he was saying... or maybe that was just you feeling otherwise. still, you shifted yourself and found yourself comfortable in his lap, your back now on his chest, faces just cms apart.

for the rest of the movie, you calmed yourself down and found comfort in your position. normally, your mind would be running miles over being this close, to the point where you could count every freckle, but something about him was warm, and his steady heartbeat lulled you to sleep.

when you awoke, you found the movie was already over. you shuffled around, trying to wake yourself up after a good rest. you couldnt see anyone else, so you figured everyone had left after the movie ended.

"awake?"

you jumped, not expecting anyone to be around. "midoriya?"

"you were asleep on my lap, remember?" he reminded, albeit sheepishly, "you fell asleep."

"oh my god yes! im so sorry. i mustve kept you there for-" you turned to check the time, "hours!! im so sorry midoriya!"

he waved one of his hands in response, putting his phone down in the process. "its okay - you looked so comfortable i didnt wanna wake you."

"ugh... i so owe you. thank you for everything tonight." you sighed. if it wasnt for midoriya, you mightve considered leaving movie night as a whole.

his eyes lingered on you, but so did yours.

"yn?" you looked at him, "could i..."

you could practically see the clogs in his head whirring. there was nothing he could possibly be thinking about, except getting sleep for a long day of lectures tomorrow. he was stuck overthinking as to what he should say or maybe how he should say it, and in that time you found yourself admiring his features. since you and izuku were just friends, you never got the chance to see him up close — how did you never notice how pretty he was?

he probably didnt want what you were hoping he would want. with a sigh, you got yourself ready to leave, wanting to wash all your inappropriate thoughts about midoriya away as to not make this awkward for yourself in the future. he was still your classmate after all. he noticed you shuffling, and that broke him out of his trance. he infact did want what you want. in the first place, he only asked out of kindness, but things changed over time, for example, when you were shuffling against him — he couldnt believe how stupidly oblivious he was. just as you were about to stand, you felt the hem of your shirt being grabbed, "come back."

you looked back, confused. did you get the wrong idea? "please." he asked. and that answered everything. you felt like a giddy highschooler.

in a trance, you found yourself back on his lap, lips on his, minds blank. one thing lead to another, and you began straddling his hips, and his hands found themselves under your shirt. good thing no one else was around.

for the first time in forever, the two of you couldnt even think.

The Bright Side

Kaminari was trying to look on the bright side. His mother had always taught him that whenever things seemed bad, to find something good. But it was really hard to think of any bright side when his entire day seemed like an absolute mess. First, he hadn't woken up on time, because his best friend Sero from Hermes Cabin had stolen his alarm clock. Which he planned on taking revenge, but probably later when the boy would be caught off guard. Then, during archery training, he was so tired that he almost sent his arrow directly into the Centaur who trained him, Aizawa. That got him a nearly half-hour stern lecture on how "weapons weren't toys, they were tools." Then, because the lecture had taken so long, he ended up almost missing the weekly Capture the Flag game. Bakugou chewed him out for it until Kirishima finally calmed him down.

If all of that wasn't enough, he realized that his favorite Camper and long time crush was on the opposing team. Y/N, child of Hephaestus, was a sight to behold on normal days, bit when it came to Combat? Not only did they give the Ares kids a run for their money, but their inventions were known to be the best of the best, even when compared to the rest of their cabin. Denki has had a crush on them since he first got to camp, and a year of being really good friends hadn't changed that one bit. So he was definetely a little a lot distracted, and nearly electrocuted some of his teammates with how flustered he got. They even lost the game when on of Y/N's inventions, a flying solar-powered drone, had snatched their red flag and flown it over to their side before anyone could stop it.

All in all, it's been a day. And now, sitting alone at Zues Cabin's table, Denki was down in the dumps. After having such a bad day, he felt more alone then ever, being separated from the people he called his friends. He pushed around the food on his plate, having already sacrificed part of his meal. He was so caught up in his thoughts, he didnt notice a figure making their way toward him until they were already seated next to him. "What's got you down, Kaminari?" He froze, his eyes slowly looking over to see that Y/N had just say at his table. Right next to him.

He nearly shocked himself in surprise hehehe, get it? Shocked? as he swiftly looked around. Aizawa had strict rules about Cabin memebers sitting at each other's tables, something about the Gods possibly finding it disrespectful. But the Centaur was nowhere to be seen. "Um, wha-" Y/N laughed at the baffled look on Denki's face, and his cheeks flushed at the sound. "Aizawa likes coffee, so I may or may not have bribed him into letting me sit with you. You looked a bit upset, so I figured you'd like some company." Denki couldn't help but match their smile, and for the rest of the evening, the two chatted about anything and everything, all while ignoring the eyes of other campers.

"Oh my god, why won't they just kiss already?!" Mina, daughter of Aphrodite, was steaming as sh ev witnessed the slow burn that was Kaminari and Y/N's relationship. Sero laughed at the pinkette, knowing she's been a long time shipper of the two, ever since Y/N had come to Aphrodite Cabin for love advice. He's surprised the electric boy hadn't figured it out yet. The two continued to talk for the evening until the end of supper, and then Y/N grabbed Denki's hand, dragging him away from the dining hall. Denki's face immediately flushed, his body buzzing as he tried to suppress his electricity, in order to not shock them. A few sparks still touched their hand, but they were unfazed, even when their hair stood on end a bit.

They finally arrived at his Cabin, and while Denki was disappointed that they let go of his hand, he was quickly surprised to see them hold out a small package to him. "Here. It's for you." They gently placed the package into his open hand, and with excitement, he quickly opened it. He was a little confused when he held up a small ball, almost the size of a baseball. It fit perfectly into his hand, and he turned it over in his hands a few times to feel every part. "Its something I made for you. Um-" They rubbed the back of their neck in embarrassment, a small blush lighting I their own cheeks. Denki smiled, having never really received gifts from anyone beside his mom. "Try, um, try shocking it." Y/N suggested. He looked unsure a moment, remembering all the toys he broke in his childhood because of his power. But, having trust in them, he began to lightly shock the small ball. To his amazement, it began to glow a golden color. Y/N smiled in glee, happy their invention was working so far.

They quickly grabbed his other hand, slipping on a similar colored glove onto his hand. "Now toss it." They instructed. Again, he was confused, but did as instructed, and tossed the glowing ball a few feet in the air. It suddenly erupted in a shower of sparks, nearly striking both of them if Denki hadn't grabbed Y/N and threw them both to the side. The shower stopped after a few seconds, and he turned his head to see the ball land on the ground, no longer glowing. "Yes! It worked!" Y/N cheered, beginning to ramble about the inner workings of the device, and how the glove could call the ball back to it, so that it could be used as a light, a weapon, or simply a place to store energy to be used later.

Denki was comprehending the words they said, but his mind was a little too focused on them. After the absolute tiring day he had, the most frustrating part had to be that he felt too cowardly to just freakin confess that-

"I like you."

Y/N's voice halted immediately. They stared at Denki in shock, and he blushed as he realized HE JUST SAID THAT OUT LOUD!! "Um, wh-what I meant was, uh-" He started trying to stutter put some semblance of an explanation as to why he would just blurt out something like that, but he was suddenly pulled into a tight hug. "Really?! You mean that?! Cause I've liked you for a while, and I was trying to find some way to say it tonight, but then you said it, and I'm really happy you said it cause I like you too!" Denki chuckled at their short rant, hugging them back just as tightly. They ignored the background voice squealing as others cheered until a voice shouted "ITS NEARLY CURFEW YOU IDIOTS, GO TO BED!" They both laughed as they pull away from the hug, Denki helping Y/N off the ground and giving a wave as he turned to go inside. Before he did, they quickly kissed his cheek, smiling before running off with a "See you tomorrow Denki!" He blushed with a goofy smile as he flopped into his bed, his while body buzzing as his new gift glowed brightly. Guess he finally found today's bright side, huh?

I love Sero! glad hes a topic here can I raise you a Sero is trans and hes scared too death but he tells Kirishima about it and hes super supportive and that's one of the things he kinda started falling in love with him about? He sat him down and explained to him. "Manlyness doesnt mean you have to be a dude ya know? Manlyness is like, embracing yourself and you telling me this was so manly I'm glad you told me your the manly dude I know bro." And that just kick Sero right in his heart cause Sero never thought of himself manly in any kind of way hes just weirdly shape enough to pass as a boy in a binder but he doesnt have a binder so he uses tape TO WHICH WHEN MINA FINDS OUT SHES ALL OVER IT Denki let's him use his he has two in his backpack.

Fucking Bakugo even will go buy him one just so he doesnt have to watch be out of breath all the time he says cause it really scared him one time Sero passed out swinging on his tape and it clicked in his head when he knew he wasnt binding safely

Bakugo also has a binder btw. Kirishima calls them binding buddies he doesnt need one but he supports his bros no matter what. Sero used to be jealous of kirishima having what he doesnt but that's okay now it's all okay when he told him about it kiri just apologized cause he didnt know what else to say. He probably said something like. "If I could take my man-ness and give it to you I would. Does that make you feel better?" And they both just laughed.

Kiri never even knew about all these things until his friends told him about them he knew so little when he was talking to Denki one day he wondered why he was so out of breath because I feel like Denki would train with his on which is a nono but Denki likes to feel secured at all times and Kiri goes. "Are you wearing one of those um, chest things? Bakugo told you not to do that Denks, please be careful."

sero crushing on one of his friends would be... a disaster. because absolutely EVERYONE KNOWS ABIUT IT but you ofc (dense y/n for the win once again)

crushing sero does absolutely anything and everything you want him to. don't want to do the dishes tonight? don't worry your pretty little head sero doesn't mind doing it 2x in a row. oh no! you forgot the homework due for history today! sero lets you copy his answers, even if they aren't totally right. don't want to buy the schools gross lunch? sero shares his lunch with you! he wasn't going to eat it all anyways.

as for flustering sero, it's so easy for you to do. he doesn't really get red in the face because he's used to being around you but once you start talking to him his mouth suddenly goes dry and for the first time, sero doesn't know what to say, or he stutteres out wtv he wants to say.

"sero are you ok? you never stutter? did i do something ?"

true story: denki walked into sero's room around noon on sunday to find sero still sleeping and cuddling with a body length pillow. ofc his response was to wait for sero to wake up and say "wishin that was y/n, huh" with the smug ass smirk. queue sero screaming in embarrassment and throwing denki out.

he also get ssooooo embarrassed by his thoughts about you. they aren't even bad !! just day-dreaming about the two of you being in a relationship and what not, but when he catches himself with that love sick smile on his face, he wants to just slap it off himself.

he goes on rants to denki, kirishima and mina about how perfect y'all would be together while you and bakugou are off getting snacks or grocery's. they talk him up to finally tell you how he feels the next day, but when that time comes around he goes back to his "they deserve some supermodel who is rich asf and can give them anything they could ever want" (aww cute but sir you ARE A SUPERMODEL.)

honestly denki, mina, kirishima, and bakugou are so so tired of watching their two friends being in love with each other, but not acknowledging it.

"Y/N!" You heard someone scream from behind you, making you turn around.

Once you turned around, you saw Denki running towards you at full speed with Bakugou close behind- Kirishima following as well.

"Y/N!!! BAKUGOU HAS-" Denki yelled, still running as you moved out of the way.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP SPARK PLUG." Bakugou screamed, attempting to grab the other blonde by the shirt.

"BAKUGOU DON'T HURT HIM YOU CANT AFFORD TO GET IN TROUBLE AGAIN." Kirishima attempted to be a voice of reason, words falling on deaf ears.

All you were trying to do was go back to your office after printing copies of a memo for everyone's mailbox at the hero agency where you and the three pro-heroes worked. You were a general assistant, working with everyone and doing basic tasks. Typically, your days were relatively boring, one headphone in as you worked, distracting yourself from looking at the clock.

You watched from a distance as Denki was yanked back by Bakugou, tackled to the floor. Kirishima tried breaking them up as they battled for dominance- all in their Hero gear.

Walking up laughing, you admired the way everyone else in the offices down the hallway continued working as if this was nothing new- because it wasnt. These three were frequently this loud and troublesome.

"Hey hey hey- cool it you guys-" You said, joining Kirishima's pleas.

"THERE SHE IS THERE SHE IS! Y/N BAKU-" Denki tried saying something again, being cut off by Bakugous hand around his mouth.

"If you say another fucking word I will knock you unconscious, fuckwad." Bakugou growled to Denki, the silenced blonde giggling under his hand as he stuck his tongue out of his mouth and licked Bakugou.

"YOU FUCKING NASTY-" Bakugou ripped his hand away and jumped up, wiping his hand on his pants.

"You taste fuckin burnt- Y/N BAKUGOU HAS A CRUSH ON YOU SO BAD- HES A FUCKIN SIMP-" Denki managed to say before being shoved to the ground, Bakugou holding a sparking hand close to his face.

"Any final words, Pikachu?" Bakugou growled.

"No, I can die in peace knowing you actually have feelings." Denki said, being held to the floor.

"OKAY OKAY-" Kirishima yanked Bakugou off of Denki, shoving him against a wall. "COOL. IT. YOURE GONNA GET FIRED."

"I DONT CARE HE JUST TOLD Y/N THAT I- he told Y/n. Oh fuck." Bakugou turns to look at your shocked but smiling face. "H-he was lying." He attempted to cover his not-so-secret secret.

"Was he?" You asked, giggling.

"Mmhm."

"I was not-" Denki said, flinching when the exploding hero tried to get away from Kirishima and attack him again. "ADMIT IT!"

"NO YOU FUCKIN IDIOT I HAVENT EVEN-" He remembers that you are to his left, and his face goes red. He can't even look at you. "I havent come to fuckin terms with it yet."

"With what?" You ask, feigning stupidity.

"Having like...a crush? Thats so childish." Bakugou shakes his head.

"The word is but liking someone isnt." You said, crossing your arms.

"No I know but like-" Bakugou started stumbling over his words.

"So if you liked someone, what would you do?" You asked, teasing him, making him even more nervous and fidgety.

"Well- I mean if I really liked someone I'd tell them- I wouldnt have someone else do it." Bakugou said, glaring towards Denki who was smiling.

"And then what?" You asked, smirking.

"N-nothing. I mean I dont know if I could even- I never have time for shit. And if I really liked someone, I'd want to give them a lot of my time..." He admitted sheepishly.

"So you wouldnt ask them out?" You questioned further.

"No. What if I ended up hurting them? Besides labels are annoying when youre a hero. The media loves that shit and we wouldnt get privacy. I cant do- I wouldnt...do anything I guess." Bakugou caught himself, trying not to admit what was already out in the open.

"Thats a bummer. Hypothetically, if someone liked me I would totally want them to come clean about it and we could figure it out together. But, thats if someone liked me." You sigh, dramatically.

"Well if someone did like you... hypothetically... Im sure they would want to ask you on a proper date. And make you feel special because of all you do around the office for everyone. They would probably feel like you deserve to be taken care of the same way you take care of me- THEM- like- the hypothetical person." Bakugou said, deciding to look at you properly, remembering how absolutely breathtaking you are to him.

"God, I wish someone did like me then. That hypothetically sounds really fucking nice." You said, smiling.

Bakugou just sighed and looked at Kirishima and Denki, who were currently giving him a thumbs up.

"They would... probably take you to that nice restaurant a couple blocks over after work one day. And have you wear something nice-" Bakugou started.

"A SHORT DRESS TO SHOW YOUR NICE LEGS-" Denki was shut up by Kirishima this time, the red head clamping his hand around the blonde's mouth and whispering "shut the hell up" in his ear.

"I'd hypothetically wear a nice dress too. And I'd probably be free like- this Friday." You pushed your hair behind your ear.

"Then they would probably pick you up at like 6?" Bakugou asked indirectly.

"I'd be ready by 5:45." You beamed at him.

"If only someone actually wanted that to happen.” Bakugou sighed dramatically.

"So... you like me?" You asked.

"Yeah, I do." Bakugou admitted, looking at your smile.

"You think youre gonna do anything about it?"

Bakugou remembered his points from earlier, deciding to take your advice to just figure it out with you when the time came, but wanting to keep up this little game. "Nope. Absolutely not."

"I'll be ready by 5:45." You giggled.

"Good." Bakugou nodded, turning around. "Youre still not off the hook, Sparky." He said, cracking his knuckles and walking towards Denki and Kirishima.

"OH COME ON- YOU HAVE A HAPPY ENDING-" Denki struggle to get away from Kirishima.

"You wont." Bakugou assured him.

"Run, buddy." Kirishima said, letting him free to run, watching the two run down the hall.

"Theyre fucking insane." You chuckle.

"Yeah but now youuurreeee dating one of them." Kirishima sang, poking your nose.

falling ; bakugou k.

↷ a hc-styled narrative describing the four stages bakugou katsuki goes through as he finds himself falling for you . . .

STAGE I ( impression ) ;

the first time bakugou laid eyes on you was during the entrance exam at UA.

back then, you were just another face in the crowd of faces he was going to have to beat to earn his spot in UA

the first time bakugou spoke to you wasn’t memorable to him either

like with everyone else, he was loud and rude and made it very clear he wasn’t interested in playing friends

after that you became a part of the class, just another extra, someone who’d just get in the way

that was all he thought you were…

until you kicked todoroki’s ass one day during training

the teachers had paired everyone in the class and told you to practice your 1-on-1 combat skills using your quirk

bakugou, who was paired with kirishima went first

you and todoroki were to be the last pair

despite a good effort put up by kirishima, bakugou still ended up winning that round

when it was finally yours and todoroki’s turn, bakugou paid extra attention

in his mind, he knew todoroki was powerful and someone to watch out for

but what happened was quite unexpected

you maneuvered easily through todoroki’s attacks with a combination of physical prowess and creative usage of your quirk

let’s just say his ice didn’t work on you and he was caught off guard, allowing you to snatch a win

needless to say, most of your classmates were a bit surprised at first

bakugou included

they knew you were strong but they didn’t know you were that skilled

whatever the rest of the class thought didn’t matter to bakugou though

all he knew was that now he had to keep an eye on you

STAGE II ( perspective ) ;

after that event, bakugou did indeed keep his eye on you

it started off with him observing your moves whenever the class had to do any training exercises

he saw you fight with todoroki a couple more times after that

those didn’t end in easy victory for you as it did before because todoroki was now more wary of you

however, the way you evaded and countered his attacks was something to be praised

in bakugou’s subconscious opinion at least

your moves were carefully thought out and bakugou could see that

he could see the effort and practice you had put into perfecting them

not only that, he could also see the natural talent that you had to be able to become this strong

and it wasn’t only your fighting capabilities

you were also smart

maybe he hadn’t noticed it before but he did now

you seemed to always know the answer when a teacher called on you and your grades were great

slowly, but surely, you gained respect in his eyes

if he knew one thing about you, it was that you were maybe the tiniest bit better than the other extras

for a while it stayed like this, him acknowledging you but never making it obvious and you just doing your thing

that was of course until one day in the morning before class started

mina, kirishima, and sero were talking about things as they usually were and somehow the conversation led to you

they were talking about how strong and smart you were and going on about stuff

bakugou must’ve turned his head in their direction or something but mina noticed him listening so asked him cheekily what he thought of you

“y/n? of course they’re strong. anyone could see that.”

he said that pretty loudly and didn’t seem to notice you walking into the classroom

and of course you heard

“did my ears deceive or did the bakugou katsuki just praise me?” you teased

he was pretty embarrassed, blushing and sweating a bit but trying to hide it

soon after though, class started and the ordeal was forgotten

but something about that interaction led to you and bakugou becoming closer

closer in that instead of passing the other off as another strong classmate as you usually would, you’d actually greet each other and talk

you’d say hello to him in the mornings and goodbye after school and he’d just grunt or nod your way

but this was what it meant to be close to bakugou anyway

during the weeks that passed, bakugou found himself noticing you even more

before he only paid attention to your skills and thought about you as an enemy or rival of sorts

now it seems as if he’s just noticing the little things about you and your personality that make you who you were

he wasn’t doing it on purpose god forbid

no no it was just him being unknowingly observant

weeks turned into months and months turned into years

in a blink of an eye, you were all well in your second year

with everything that happened, you and bakugou became close

close enough for you to tease him at random times and close enough for him to ask you to fight him as training

by then it was safe to say bakugou knew you

before the start of the third year, the class decided to have a little get-together party of sorts

to celebrate the start of their last year in high school and to catch up as everyone’s been busy with internships and whatnot

you spent the break away from tokyo so it’s been a while since you saw the rest of the class

naturally you were excited to be able to meet them all casually again before the intense studying and training that awaited you all

frankly, he could do without seeing the class before school

but when he heard you were going to be there, he also agreed to go

so there you two were with the rest of the class at a cinema buying drinks and popcorn before your movie started

the neon lights and the prospect of popcorn lit up your face and bakugou couldn’t help but stare

there was just something, something he couldn’t quite figure out

apparently you had noticed him staring though, so you sent a wink and a grin his way before turning back to the popcorn and drinks

in other words, you killed him

with ridiculously high levels of cute and nice

kirishima and sero were just watching the whole thing happen and hell was it obvious to them

their boi was falling hard

now they knew he’d never admit it and they knew you weren’t likely to do anything about his “crush” even if it was obvious to you too

so…

while bakugou was busy helping you carry your popcorn, they devised a rather devious plan

operation: jelly burst

objective? none other than to make explody boiy jealous

for what reason? no reason really it’s just fun to mess with him and this is probably the first time he’s had this big a crush

once everyone finished buying popcorn and was walking into the cinema, operation: jelly burst was put into action

“hey y/n ! come sit next to me” — sero

so you did, nothing strange bout that, sero was a good of yours anyway, nothing strange at all

bakugou moved to come sit next to you too but kiri hurried past him and sat down on your other side before he could

“oh hey bakubro didn’t see ya there sorry”

the seat kirishima stole was the last seat on the aisle

and bakugou was forced to go sit somewhere else

the seat he found was a few rows above yours though and all went according to the jelly burst plan

by the end of the movie, bakugou was in the foulest mood and no one, except for the 2 lads sitting on either side of y/n, knew why

operation: jelly burst didnt end there though

see they got him jelly but they haven’t gotten him to burst

the next week at school, kirishima and sero both acted really nice to you

it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary but they did talk to you just a tad bit more than usual

either way bakugou noticed big time and he did not like it

he did not like it one bit

the jelly was there alright

it was just boiling to unprecedented levels

pretty soon, the boys dumped the idea of operation: jelly burst

mainly cos it was taking too long

but also because bakugou had become at least 10x more hostile

except to you of course

for some reason, a reason absolutely no one could figure out(sarcasm intended), he was just

quiet around you

didnt yell but didnt really talk to you either

whenever anyone else, kiri and sero especially, tried to talk to him though, he’d shout louder and be a lot ruder to them

he’s just agitated

and he knew why he was that way

he’s just in denial about it

he’s also in denial about the reason why

why couldn’t he just accept his feelings and act on it already?

kirishima asked him that one day in the dorms

he saw bakugou staring very intensely straight at you without blinking for a full minute

“look man, don’t even try to tell me you don’t like y/n. it’s obvious and i’m not an idiot. you aren’t either.”

“i know shitty hair. it’s just… i’m me. and she’s y/n. nothing’s ever gonna happen.”

“you don’t know that”

“but i do. cmon, she’s just so fucking perfect even with all her flaws. and i’m just the loud guy with exploding hands and no emotions.”

kiri was surprised honestly

this wouldn’t be the first time bakugou was insecure around him but the way bakugou talked about you and how he implied he wasn’t worthy

damn that hit kirishima

“bakubro, i’m gonna help you”

STAGE IV ( intimacy ) ;

ever since he told kirishima abt what’s been bothering him about you and ever since kirishima declared he’d help, bakugou became more…

quiet

he was still loud, but he just became a soft kind of loud now(?)

it was like he got calmer and he was assured that things would be okay

of course things were not okay

why? because ever since bakugou fully accepted his feelings for you, he doesnt know how to act around you

the other day you asked him what he wanted to eat for dinner cause you were cooking tonight

his answer:

“you”

“umm..”

“-you can make anything you want. i’ll eat whatever.”

that and a lot of other little awkward incidents started occurring

also maybe it was just the weather but he always seemed red whenever you saw him

it wasn’t the weather though

it was him being shy and nervous and flustered

which made bakusquad extremely weirded out cause seeing him like that is like seeing aizawa cheerfully smiling and wearing bright color clothes

it was weird af and was just not right

anyway, mina’s advice to him was to try to get closer to you

“but we’re already close”

“no i mean closer on a personal level. ask her how her day was or ask her random stuff about her likes and dislikes or her hobbies or literally anything”

“oh… ok then”

and so he tried that

he tried getting closer to you by greeting you every morning and sometimes asking you if you slept well

you found it odd

it certainly was odd, but you didn’t mind

if you ask him why he asks about your sleep he just goes red and says he needs to make sure his opponent for his afternoon sparring session is well-rested and healthy

speaking of the sparring sessions…

he asks you to spar more often than usual and actually makes small talk during your breaks

he was also a lot nicer to you, offering to help carry stuff for you and assisting you in the little things

like getting a mug from the kitchen’s high shelves or picking up the pencil you accidentally dropped

what he did worked though and within a few weeks, the two of you got a lot closer

the next step, as mina put it, was “making sure she knew you weren’t interested in her as a friend”

now that was hard for bakugou to do

“it’s not that hard. you could just tell her.”

bakugou: ..??

“basically confess”

bakugou: wha- *shortcircuits*

CONFESSING

he never thought about that

he actually has

he knew in his mind he’d have to do it eventually if he wanted to have you

but he didn’t think it would be *this soon*

“dont think that much and just tell her you like her”

“you’re making it sound easy”

“because it is!”

he groaned internally

he’s faced tons of villains and been in quite the number of fearful situations but the fear he felt now was completely different

“look if you’re afraid of rejection just confess like this”

*sero clears throat*

“*y/n i like you and i would like to be something more than friends. i’m not going to pressure you into anything so if yoh don’t want to we can just pretend this never happened>:)”

“...”

bakugou ended up confessing the next day though

just not like that

it was a spur of a moment thing and he wasn’t really aware he said it until you responded

the two of you were sparring as usual and you had just gotten close enough to knock him down and pin him to the ground

in that moment you were just so beautiful and amazing and everything and he just couldn’t keep it in apparently

“i like you”

“w-what?”

“what?”

“did you just say you liked me?”

“like not liked dumbass”

“:o present tense o:”

well long story short, you like him too and you tell him that and you two just sit there grinning like idiots

from then on things didn’t change much

you and bakugou still talked, although maybe more than usual

and still sparred with each other, although maybe less seriously and more playfully

some were surprised when it became known you were together

some weren’t

whatever other people thought though, they couldn’t deny one thing:

when you woke up to bakugo banging on your door, you knew it was going to be a weird day

bakugo was notrious for being an early bird, but he usually kept that to himself. so why was he screaming outside your door at 6 in the freaking morning?

“y/n! you have ten seconds to open this fucking door before i—“

you swung the door open with the meanest glare you could muster, ready to cuss him out

“what the hell do you want—“

your voice catches in your throat when you see a sleeping black haired child, no older than two, curled up in his arms

you stare at the baby

then you stare at bakugo

bakugo stares back in confusion

then it clicks

“IT’S NOT MY FUCKING BABY!!” he explodes

“LANGUAGE BAKUGO!”

“STOP FUC--I MEAN FREAKING ASSUMING THINGS”

you didnt get a chance to respond before he shoves the baby in your arms and tells you it’s kirishima who got hit by a quirk during his internship

the teachers knew and left him with katsuki, but he couldnt take care of him today bc he had to go to his intership, and he didnt trust anyone else with the child

so that’s how you ended up alone with baby kiripima 🥺

you find out very quickly that kirishima was as energetic as ever, even as a baby

the minute he wakes up, he nearly jumps out of bed and declares to the entire room

“g’ mornin’!”

then he glomps you with the biggest hug

“y/n! we swol too-day!!”

you figured out that he knows who you are but that’s the extent to which he does

either way, he’s very excited to spend the day with you

he’s still extroverted even as a kid and loves being around his friends

when you took him around to meet everybody, he just gobbled up the attention. most importantly, he just loved your attention

he such a show off for you omg

he’ll be “ultra manly” and clean his mess all by himself

or when you try and help him wash his hands, he’ll stop you with a determined pout and go “i can do it!” and concentrate really hard on scrubbing his hands clean

when you’d praise him for eating all his food he’d give you the biggest shark-tooth smile and cutely blush from your words

he still kind of stumbled when he walked but whenever he saw something cool, he’d take your hand and basically drag you with him, excitment in his steps

and when you showed him the gym?

he was in L O V E 🤩

you may or may not have taken a couple pictures when you saw him attempt to lift a five pound weight

bath time is fun and easy bc he’s too busy pretending to be a shark to really think about the fact that he’s getting clean

when you tell him it’s bed time, he doesn’t wanna sleep at first. but then you make a sad face and he instantly drops what he’s doing and hurriedly says,

“okay! okay! i sleep! see!?”

goes and gets his blanket and curls up in your bed bc he’s the goodest boy and it’s unmanly to make a pretty person sad!

he looks so small and fluffy that you literally wanna bawl your eyes out

ahhh he’s just the cutest!!

you lie next to him and decide to take a nap too bc it’s been a long day

before you fall asleep, you feel the small boy nuzzle into your chest and wrap his arms around your neck

“night night. luh you,” he whispers before he starts to snore

like 🥺🥺🥺

you could seriosuly die happy

the next day, you wake up with a heavier arm around your shoulders. it’s so heavy that you can barely move and it confuses you

when you open your eyes, you see that kirishima has gone back to normal

and usually you’d be freaking out bc you may or may not have a small crush on him and now that he was normal sized, you were staunchly reminded of it

but when he pulls you in closer to his embrace, you can’t seem to care rn

for now, you’ll just enjoy this moment

Kaminari Denki:

“Y/N!! watch out!”

you were all kinds of confused when kaminari jumped in front of you to protect you from a villain’s quirk and he disappeared

and just when you were about to freak out, you heard small whimpers and cries

you looked to the ground and saw that kaminari hadnt disappeared

your best friend just turned into a freaking two year old child

and you dont think he likes you

at all

once you two were brought to safety, it was like denki finally took a good look at who was holding him and just

flipped shit

he gives you a firm (but cute) frown that makes you blink in confusion

then he suddenly pushes his hands against your chest to try and get away

“no! stop! i wanna go!”

at first, you thought he was scared so you attempted to soothe him but it’s no use

he’s admant on throwing his tiny temper tantrum

although, when recovery girl takes him to go get checked, he instantly calms down and smiles as she tells him how cute he his

you can’t say you didnt feel your heart break just a little 💔💔💔

but youre determined to win over his affection bc wth? you’re supposed to be best friends!

(read: you had a crush on older denki and you couldnt handle the fact that these might be his true feelings towards you and he might actually not like you)

so the entire day, you’re doing everything you can to make the kid at least acknowledge you

right now, it’s the bakusquad that’s collectively taking care of him for the day, but you’re there to help

you try to tell him jokes babies could understand and he’ll just look at you and turn away

mina told you that food was the best way to a guy’s heart so you made him his favorite (soft) food as a peace offering

and you were absolutely crushed when he stiffened up and refused to eat it until bakugo scared him into eating

he turns away and you just 💔😞

after that, you sighed and gave up

you sorrowfully accepted the fact that denki just didnt like you :(

at least you now know your chances of being with him was nonexistent

you made up some excuse to leave the room bc you coudlnt take the heartbreak

everyone pretty much bought into it

all except denki who might have been a child, but he was still as perceptive as ever

unbeknowest to you, denki didnt really dislike you

the reason he was acting like a jerk was bc you put yourself in danger during the mission and he was so angry about it

he didnt know how to confront these feelings so he just ignored you

but when he saw the silver tears line your eyes, he felt so bad 😭

he didn’t know how to emotion™️

pls don’t leave him :(((

the emotions overwhelmed him so much to the point that he bursted out in tears and wasn’t cosoled by anything

“come on, bro! what’s wrong!?” sero anxiously asked

“y/n! i want y/n!”

he didnt have to say it twice

the group basically shove him in your arms and youre confused when denki latches onto you like a life line bc did he just hate you three seconds ago?

despite your saddness, you comfort him by whispering sweet nothings in his ear and denki is instaneously consoled solely by your voice

the crying takes a lot of energy from him and he can barely keep his eyes open

but before he sleeps, he softly says, “i wa’ scare-d. sowwy y/n”

again, you’re confused, but you were too tired to think about it so you decide to go to bed and deal with this tomorrow

it’s the next day and your face-to-face with a normal kaminari who’s obviously been awake for some time and looks petrified

now that he’s older, you’re reminded of everything he put you through and you’re salty af about it

“you still hate me?” you sassily say

denki’s face erupts in an embarrassed blush and youre surprised when he buries his head in your neck, holding you close to his chest

without looking at you, he explains his true feelings for you in a really round about way

you pull his face back to look at him and as he sputters out apologies to you, you kiss is nose

“you idiot. i like you too if that’s what you’re trying to say.”

denki stares before short-circuting and you just laugh as he mumbles happily to himself

This is a repost for a fic I deleted ages ago. I've done zero editing and even had to go into my old phone to get it. Enjoy ~

Kirishima gripped onto your face tightly , tight enough that his fingers were causing indents in your smooth skin. Your heart was beating out of your chest, the two of you enveloped in darkness in the small confines of a random coat closet.

"Do you know the things I want to do to you, Y/N?" His voice is dangerously husky, his breath the only indication that he has been drinking.

Your cheeks burn at the question as he pushes you agaisnt the wall, separating your legs with a powerful thigh. Voices of your classmates and a low thump of music in celebration of new years is long forgotten as the roar of your blood echos in your delicate ears.

You swallow unsure of how to answer. Kirishima was always a good friend had he ever expressed interest in you? He was sweet and kind. The first to volunteer to show you around campus, the first to guide you to new friends and the first to encourage you to date someone else.

Someone else that broke your heart a few months ago and Eijirou was the first to lend his shoulder to cry on. Ruby eyes shining as they welled with their own set of tears. So how could he even think to like you?

His hand moves to your throat but his grip is much lighter, barely holding onto your thin column with plenty of opportunity to breathe.

"Are you not going to answer, little one?" His voice reverberates around the small closet, in your chest. Still you cannot even think of an answer depsite having too taken shots of liquid courage but clearly not as much as your red headed friend. His grips slowly becomes tighter yet no fear rings out into your body, only excitement. You never pegged Kirishima as the...commanding type.

"I..." Your voice gets lost in your throat your fist his black shirt. His eyes shine as he holds your gaze with what little light filters in thought the cracks of the door.

"You what? Speak up when speaking to your sir please baby girl." You inwardly giggle, even in his dominate state he asked nicely. But the effect was not lost on you what with his soft tone and grip.

No if anything it encouraged you more.

"I wouldn't know, sir. You've never seemed to express that type of interest in me." You say softly just a few decibels above a whisper. A haughty smile forms on his face as he pushes you further into the wall, completely pressing his body agaisnt yours as his lips find your ear in such urgency.

"Do you know how hard it was for me to pretend to be happy for you and Bakugou?" His grip tightens with his rarely found rage, still nothing compared to the ash blonde "I encouraged the two of you because the chemistry was obvious and I knew he'd treat you well. He did treat you well but I guess I got so caught up in making sure you got what you wanted that I didnt think about his inability to be open with his feelings. I should know best about that."

"Wha..what do you mean you should know best?" He doesn't answer for a long time, silencing anymore questions with a kiss.

His tenderness is welcomed although your body craves more, more punishment but you cannot find yourself being your true bratty self to Kirishima. How can you defy someone who asks so nicely? You melt into his kiss, feverish to feel more as you pulling on his hair.

Just as he is about to part your lips with his tongue the small closet is suddenly flooded with light.

"So this is where you two made off too." The voice is dark, causing both you and Eji's stomachs to clench with desire. You both are frozen under the scarlet gaze of the predator.

"Kitten what are you doing pinned beneath such a scrawny puppy?" Your heart races at the old nickname, body still pulling towards him despite the attraction to the ruby haired man pinning you to the closet. He grabs Kirishima by the back of his thick neck pulling the warmth away from you. Exposing how much you two have really been up to in the dark as your shirt is haphazardly lifted up your smooth torso. He slams Kirishima agaisnt the wall of the closet by his throat as he gently grabs onto the crook of your arm.

His eyes scream unquenched rage, knowing if you defy him now there will be hell to pay later.

"But King I was only enjoying his company. His lips are marvelous and his hands..." Katsuki's eyes flicker back to you, he wraps his fingers in the thick hair at the base of your skull. Pulling harshly as your core begins to heat.

He harshly tilts your face away from him, exposing your neck to his hungry teeth. His kissable lips press to your ear.

"Still a brat I see. I guess I didnt punish you harshly enough." His voice is velvet contradicting his deadly grip. Kirishima whimpers beneath Katsuki's touch, reaching out a hand for yours that you gladly grip onto.

A little unused to Katsuki not having a free hand to comfort you, unknowing that Eji feels the same. Crimson eyes shift to the man beneath his crushing grip and a small smirk plays on his lips.

"My little puppy if you hang around kitten too much her brat will rub off on you." He loosens his grip when he sees Kirishima's eyes rolling into the back of his head, for once not realizing how harshly he was gripping.

He was unused to both of his hands occupied but that wasn't to say he didn't mind. A bratty kitten and an extremely obedient puppy was going to prove...interesting. The strong hand moves from your hair quickly to your waist to pull you to him while his eyes stay glued to Eji.

"Ah are you alright little one?" He asks soothingly as he peppers kisses onto Eji's neck, slightly red, "I've gripped too hard huh."

Tears prick Kirishima's eyes and you squeeze his still held hand having been there too. Not with Katsuki being too rough, no he was always the right amount but teetering on the fine line of pleasure and shame to allow someone to control you, to provoke such reactions out of you. He gently kisses your knuckles that are interlaced with Ejis, lips trailing over his before he gently separates them with his free hand. He squeezes your hip as he exits the closet.

"Follow me." A command that neither are allowed to disobey, even going as far as to make sure that you do not escape.

Kirishima stays frozen against the closet wall.

"But..." His voice is soft, small even unlike the normal booming confidence he normally displays.

"Puppy." Katsuki barks out darkly, not even bothering to turn around, "Unless you want your erection to go untouched by anyone but you, I suggest you follow your King."

"Yes, Katsuki-sama." He says softly falling into place behind the two of you. He guides you both up the stairwell taking a familiar path until the three of you stop in front of a thick oak door of a college dorm room.

Your door. That he opens with ease as you never lock it unless sleeping or during a session. He flicks on the switch that allows the soft string lights to flicker on, leaving the harsh center over head light off. He turns to grab onto Kirishima's hand bringing you both to the center, standing barefoot on the plush faux fur rug.

"Kneel." He orders and Kirishima sinks to his knees, posture straight as he murmurs with a bowed head.

"Yes, Katsuki-sama."

"I..." You protest your head clearing just a bit, hadn't he said he was done for awhile. Needed a break to think and now here he was bringing someone else into your room. You did not feel jealousy over the heavily hinted and obvious displays of interaction between the two men. If anything you desired to see it, to share your King with another would not be a bad idea. Two to support one another in the time of a "tyrant" you would just after to learn how to share the after Bakugou.

"And I said *kneel* Kitten." He steps closer without touching you and your body heats up, "Unless you want to be denied release all night. You're already up to twenty minutes worth of edging."

"But...." Tears prick your eyes as you sink to your knees, long forgetting your heartache for now. Unfair in his dominance or so you always think.

You face Katuski always as Kirishima keeps his head bowed. You try to study the different dynamic and cannot fathom being that good.

What kind of pleasures does Kirishima get with such good behavior?

Katsuki lifts his chin, holding his gaze.

"You may hold eye contact for tonight until I say other wise, okay, Koinu?" Kirishima nods in response earning a gentle kiss on the forehead before Katsuki stands over you, again gripping your hair roughly as he places a feather soft kiss onto your forehead. The rules the three of you have are unspoken but known by heart. One 'King you're hurting my heart' uttered from either pair of lips he will stop in his tracks and he will crush you to him.

"Now explore one another." His tone close to boredom as he pulls up your pink computer chair to sit on.

The two of you stare dumbfounded at one another then towards the higher power in the room. Small impatient explosions litter his skin as he sighs out his unspoken anger. His eyes level to both of you as he speaks.

"You two had no problem in that cramped closet. Koinu, why dont you see if little kitten is wet."

"King..." Eiji starts, Katsuki listens with narrowing eyes dissecting if it is disobedience or fear that causes him to hesitate.

He gives him a moment as your eyes return to Kirishima. You smile in his direction as Eji's heart beats rapidly.

Is this....is this what he wants? Does he want to share you? Does he want to share Katsuki?

Ruby eyes meet scarlet and the ash blonde stands before squatting to the red heads level.

"Are you okay Koinu?" Voice ever soft as he places his strong palm behind his red haired head and you reach out to touch Kirishuma's knee. Hair ruffled by a calloused hand while skin is being caressed by smooth fingers.

Something ignites in his chest.

"I...I'm okay, thank you Katsuki-sama, Kitten." Katsu smirks easing into his temporary throne, voice returning to that deadly tone.

"Then check to see if my kitten is enjoying our company my Koinu."

Kirishima hovers close to you, suddenly unsure of what he should be doing.

As if his hand wasn't half way up your skirt just downstairs. His hand follows the curve of your powerful thigh as it slips beneath the black fabric that drapes over your ass and your heat.

His fingers make their way to your core and when he discovers no restrictive fabric over your mound his eyes widen.

"If I come will that make you happy?" Bakugou visibly bristled, "Ha?! Happy, I dont give a damn if you come!?" With that he stomped off, leaving you to deal with your whiplash. A hand comes down on your shoulder, "Don't listen to him man, he wants you to come. "You sighed as you turn back to look at the retreating pomeranian.

"Well why didn't he just say that?"

"I swear he acts like he's got a crush on me." Sero laughs as you two walk toward Bakugou's dorm. "You never know he might." Sero wiggles his eyebrows suggestively and you punch his shoulder. "Yeah and I'm general Kanobe."

When you arrived, it was the usual group of kids surrounding Bakugou. Denki was getting yelled at by said man and Kirishima was fixing one of Mina's mistakes English. "Hey guys!" You say sitting down next to Bakugou. Bakgou didn't say anything but you couldn't help but feel as if he was trying to lean away from you.

As you participate in the mostly silent study session, you watched Bakugou skillfully teach the others basic history in a way that even made you understand more. "Hey Bakugou you should become a teacher."

Bakgou laughs, "Like hell I will, I can hardly handle these dumbasses." Denki whines, "Oh come on Bakugou, we aren't that bad." A book comes your way in an attempt at hitting Denki. Before it could hit you however, a small explosion goes off in front of you, "Hey watch it raccoon eyes!"

You fan the slight dust in front of your face and resist the urge to cough as you laughed. Bakugou looks at you with wide eyes and a faint blush, but turns away before you could see it. The others looked at him with a knowing smirk.

"Hey Mina, remember that thing you promised we would do?" Kirishima said, sneaking glances at you as you wipe your face. Kaminari looked at the two with a raised eyebrow, "What thing?" Mina tried to respond discreetly, "Ya know the thing." Kaminari looked at the two with a blank gaze.

Sero releases tape from his elbows and uses it to quickly silence Kaminari. "He's a lost cause we might as well stop now." Bakugou looks at the others just as clueless as you, as they drag a silenced Denki out the room.

"Did they make something up to leave us alone?" Bakugou asked, already lifting his hand to cause destruction. You quickly grab his fist in your hand, "What no! I know the thing they're talking about, it's a serious…..thing"

The sound of your voice was completely tuned out as Bakugou's eyes narrowed down on your hands. They were larger than his, and were able to completely cover his hands yet still managed to be soft. As you rambled about something he couldn't be bothered to care about, Bakugou instinctively intertwined your fingers together.

Now that got your attention as you watch the boy have a completely elated facial expression, one that honestly was disturbing out of context. You muttered to yourself as you squeezed his hands back, "Do you really have a crush on me?" Bakugou's sensitive ears caught onto that real quick and he released you almost immediately.

"W-What the hell are you talking about?! Why would I like you.." you rolled your eyes already ready from some pushback. His defensive demeanor soon dripped away as you gently held his chin. "Don't lie to me Bakugou." The sound of your deep voice made him shiver as you slowly cage him in-between you and the floor. "W-What are you doing dumbass!?" He said eyes getting more wide the closer you got.

When he had nowhere else to go, you leaned forward and placed a chaste kiss on the tip of his nose and pulled back. "Well I like you too Bakugou." You stand up and twirl around the room. "And I promise to be the best boyfriend ever and embarrass you from here on out!" Bakugou snapped out his stupor, "What do you mean I already have three other extras that do that!"

Your smirk as you stop your spinning and look at Bakugou with one finger pointing to him. "So you agree to be my boyfriend?" A blush resumes on the blond's face, "So you really like me?" He said gruffly as he looked to the side. You chuckled softly, "Hey that's my line."

Bakugou suddenly feels shy, "B-But we're both dudes." He brings a hand to come and scratch the back of his head and you tut quietly. "So what, your cute, I'm cute, together we make cuties and if anyone doesn't like it they can…" your place a finger and pretend to think, "What's that phrase you're always saying?" Bakgou looks at you with a raised eyebrow as you snap your fingers.

"Oh yeah, they can go to hell!" Bakgou looks taken aback at such a broad statement coming from such a sweet face. You take this opportunity to press another quick kiss on his face much to his embarrassment.

Getting together

This is a long one and if I had the talent I'd just make it a fic

They liked eachother for a long time before finally getting together but didnt wanna ruin their friendship and thought the other was way too good for them.

They each talked to the squad about their crush but they told different people. So it wasn't a Person C looks on in exasperation situation.

Sero was the first to notice something off and asked kirishima about it. Kiri tried to reassure him it was nothing but after a couple weeks of sero gently reminding him he was there to listen kiri finally told him he might have a crush on bakugo. Hes just coming around to understanding and accepting this himself so that's why he didnt come to sero before. Every once in a while sero will get a text saying how manly bakugo is but other than that it stays quiet.

Mina is next to notice. She thought kiri had a thing for bakugo for a while and hes only been getting more blushy. So she confronts him to make sure shes right. She may be the gossip queen but she makes sure the rumors have some hard facts behind em. Kiri gets really akward and tries to laugh it off but the blush definitely says otherwise. Shes a good friend though so she pretends to believe him and tells no one.

In second year when kiris crush gets bad and he decides he wants to win bakugo over. Sero tries to help but hes not very good at this stuff so he suggests mina. Kiris hesitant at first but realizes shed definitely be the best person to help. She pretends to be shocked and agrees to help him. After a week or so though she lets something slip and when kiri asks her about it she admits she knew about his crush for months.

Kaminari doesnt know about kiris crush but he did notice bakugo being alot more snappy and growly when people would flirt with kirishima. He makes a joke about bakugo being jealous and he gets yelled at. Most people would think this was all bakugo being bakugo. Hes always growly and when is he not yelling?? But kami knows somethings different. Hes surprisingly observant. When they're alone he tells him its totally ok to crush on kiri and he could talk to him about it if he wanted. Bakugo obviously yells at him and denies it but kami just laughs it off and tells him again he can come talk whenever.

Because kaminari fears no God when he and bakugo are out of ear shot he'll tease him about kiri. This goes on for a few weeks but then bakugou mellows out a bit and usually just mumbles and pouts after his usual threats (that are definitely for show). When they're completely alone with no chance of anyone hearing bakugo scream he starts casually talking about kiri and the rest of the squad. He doesnt mention the crush and when he notices bakugo is actually listening he talks more and more about kiri specifically. Eventually he sees that bakugo has a soft look on his face and a small blush and that's when he brings up the crush.

Bakugou looks like he wants to yell at him but it comes out really soft when he says "shut up why should I care about that?" Kaminari laughs and tells him his secret is safe and that bakugo should totally go for it. He even says he'll help bakugo "get over his emotional constipation." At that point bakugou does try to blow him up but he accepts the help none the less.

So for many more months kiri and bakugo are flirting with eachother more trying to win the other over while they get flustered at any attempts the other makes. So when bakugo invites kiri somewhere kiri asks if the rest of the squad is going. Or when kiri flirts the way mina taught him to bakugo gets really flustered and yells stfu. Because bakugo gets red when hes angry (seperate hc) kiri doesnt think it's a blush and thinks he doesnt like the flirting.

Kaminari doesnt know about kirishimas crush on bakugo and mina and sero dont know about bakugous crush on kirishima cause they're all great friends who would take this secret to their grave if need be. So after every attempt to flirt with each other the squad is just in the background being supportive. Like "nice try man we'll get him next time" :D trying to reassure them "no, no he totally likes you back! Did you see that blush?"

The reveal happens cause bakugo caught sero and mina setting something up for him and kiri. Bakugo catches them and when he asks about it they get all jumpy. He threatens them but even then they wont say so he tells them if it's a prank it better not affect him. They swear it's not a prank so bakugo leaves it at that.

Later when kiri asks him to hang out later he brings him to the same spot. Bakugo obviously recognizes it but doesnt say anything. Kiri doesnt seem to find the different look of the place surprising so obviously he knew about it and theres no way kiri would do something weird. They're just hanging out but bakugo quickly realizes how romantic the atmosphere is compared to the last time they visited. He gets all shy thinking "wait does this mean he actually likes me back?"

Kirishima and the rest of the squad who were totally not spying see how bkg is acting and are excited cause this means their plans are finally working :D

Mina and kami get excited and accidentally make a noise. Bakugo and kiri dont notice thankfully but the other 3 do and they see eachother. [Insert spiderman meme] It turns into a "what are you doing here" "what are you guys doing here?" "I asked you first"

They try to be casual and keep it secret but they're bad at it and realize kiribaku like eachother cause why else would they other be there unless they were also totally not spying on the not yet couple.

They accidentally make another noise and this time they're caught. Kiri and bakugo are confused why the part of the squad that doesnt know about their crush is there but they forget about it when they realized they were being spied on. Mood ruined so they head back to the dorms.

For the next week the squad is trying to keep the fact that they like eachother back a secret cause they're not supposed to know while also being "dude trust me on this he like you back!"

After that week they're studying in one of their rooms and the tension is so thick kiri could cut through it without his quirk. They're both thinking about the Not Date but bakugo is thinking more about kami telling him he knows kiri likes him back.

After a couple hours of silence (not even kirishima asking for help) bakugo snaps. He demands to know what's up. Kiri laughs and tries to brush it off but bakugo calls bullshit. He brings up the Not Date and ask what exactly that was. Kirishima is stammering to the point bakugo cant make out any words and bakugo cuts him off asking if he likes him. Kiri tries to say yeah and imply that he likes him as a friend. Bakugo thinks the answer is too vague and makes him specify how exactly kirishima likes him. Kirishima thinks about lying but after hearing mina and sero tell him for a week that bakugo definitely likes him back he tells the truth.

After realizing what he said he gets nervous and starts rambling. He tells him why he likes him and the more he talks the more scared he gets. He tries saying how it's not that big a deal and it doesnt change anything and he totally understands if bakugo doesnt like him back.

Half way through bakugo comes out of his shock that kiri likes him back and grabs kiri by the front of his shirt. Kiri doesnt know what's happening and doesnt realize hes being pulled in until a second after bakugo starts kissing him. When he does register what going on he immediately kisses back. When they finally pull back bakugo whispers "shut up shitty hair. I like you too." This time kiris the one who pulls him in. He practically jumps on bakugo like an excited puppy as he throws his arms around him neck.

They could keep going but they have homework and bakugo knows kiri must have gotten alot wrong if he got anything done at all cause he didnt ask for help once in 2 hours.

When the bakusquad sees them the next day they're holding hands and bakugo yells at them to shut up multiple times before giving up. Not once does he let go of kirishima though.

I've gotten a few requests for more Platonic Bakugou x reader, and you shall receive!!I wrote this one based on a dream I had. I hope you like it but please tell me what yall thing about the dynamic I've built between Katsuki and reader through my other fics to now, I wanna know ♡♡♡

Katsuki was never one to show all of his feelings- he wasn't one to show many of them. He bottled them up and hoped they go away or as John Mulaney would say 'and then one day, I'll die.'

Only, sometimes you forced him to show feelings. Or at least deal with them. Like right now.

Kirishima hadn't rejected Katsuki persay- honestly he wasn't sure what had really happened. He knew he panicked. He knew Kirishima did to. Just two blushing red stuttering messes. And then Kiri left.

Katsuki, in accordance to your advice, texted him; offered him an in and out to talk about what happened and stated that he wanted to tell Kirishima in person everything he needed to say.

Kirishima had not replied.

And it crushed him.

Sure it wouldn't be anyone's fault, certainly not Kirishimas, if it didn't work out like bakugou wanted but it still fucking /hurt/.

And he could've gone to Deku- the little rat would've jumped at the chance to help, but he stopped at you instead.

It was relatively late, 10:30 or so, no one was going to miss him if he disappeared in your room. Maybe kirishima, but he wouldn't know. He left his phone in his dorm. He should've just gone to sleep at 8 like he usually did.

Of course you opened the door, immediately picked up that something was wrong and led him to the bed.

He took the wall side, and you took the room side. He rested his head against your shoulder (he honestly didn't have a choice but he really didnt mind, you won't hear him admit it) as the two of you sat against the headboard of your bed. You used your hand to gently touch his cheek.

He normally wouldn't be this docile- must've been bad.

"Darling tell me what happened,"

He groaned, his gaze at his lap. "This stuff is hard." He grumbled. "Dealing with Ei is hard."

"Well nothing good is ever easy," you hum, stroking his cheek. "What went down?"

"I panicked. We were hanging out, I was cooking food for tomorrow, and he was down there with me, watching. I don't know- he leaned in and obviously so did I but he- /we/ panicked and I told him I liked him and he just left."

"Walked out?"

"Yes, just walked the fuck out. Didn't say a word in response." His voice got weaker then, softer and he tensed.

"You didn't leave anything on the stove, did you?"

"No, Dorms are fine."

"Okay," you smiled, "maybe he just needed time. Or maybe he thought you were joking. Did you text him after? Try to talk at all?"

"Yes," he nodded. "I texted him 3 times."

"He probably just needs time. Listen, Kats, you did what you could and communicated what you needed to. The rest is up to Kiri. He has to make the next move."

"What if he doesn't like me back? What if I just fucked up something- I don't want to lose him, you know?"

"I doubt you're going to lose him," you hummed. "Even if he doesn't return your feelings, he won't walk away just because you have them. Kirishima isn't like that. But right now, you've done all you can. You'll just have to wait and go from there."

He nodded slightly. He hadn't moved his gaze from his lap, but you pinched his cheek gently.

"How about we watch some TV, okay? You can stay here for the night if you want. If not just an episode or two to calm down."

"Yeah," he mumbled. "I guess that's okay."

And you did just that. Turned on an episode of whatever light hearted TV show you two had started together and just chilled out. Katsuki hadn't planned on falling asleep or staying, but the panic attack he'd had really drained him- he didn't realize how bad it was.

You smiled softly though, running a hand through your best friends hair.

You managed to move so the two of you were laying down, your hand still under his head. It would definitely be numb in a few hours but he needed the sleep and you weren't going to wake him up.

The next morning Katsuki couldn't even be mad, you always had his back, no matter what. You were always logical and strove for solutions if he ever came to you with a problem. But you were also kind to him, giving him comfort when he needed it.

And you were right- as always. Kirishima just needed time.

He'd checked his phone when he got back to his dorm, he'd received more than a few texts from red- explaining what happened and begging Katsuki to answer.

He didn't text him back, instead he got dressed for school and walked down to the kitchen, where he knew Kirishima would be. And he was there, nervously fiddling with his protein bottle.

"Oi dumbass," he flicked his ear and sat down.

"Katsuki!" The red head grinned.

You were always right.
