Birthday girl - Narcissa Malfoy

warnings: pure fluff

When you heard a sound of someone appearing in the house, you immediately knew who it was. You smiled for yourself and walked straight to the hall of the Manor. When you saw the skinny blonde, you suddenly felt so peaceful.

“Darling I am home!” You heard her shout into the huge house and you smiled.

“I know love,” you said only and started making your way towards the doors. You walked down the stairs and you knew that Narcissa was watching you.

“Are we planning something for today darling?” She asked you and she already knew what it was. Narcissa didn’t really celebrate her birthday, it was always just some small gift. But this year, as she was turning forty, you decided to make it special.

“You know very well that we are celebrating today,” you said as you wrapped your hands around her neck and kissed her.

“Okay and why are you in pajamas?” She asked you with a soft laugh on her lips and you smirked.

“I said it’s special. Your pajamas are prepared in your bathroom. I will wait for you in the cinema room, hm?” You offered her and Narcissa lifted her eyebrows.

“Pajamas and cinema room?” She asked back and you just sent her a kiss, turning away from her.

“I’ll meet you there!” You shouted as you were walking away from her and you were walking across the house. Arriving to the kitchen you opened the huge fridge. The first thing which you was was a bottle of champagne. Frowning a little you closed it and took two wine glasses and a bottle of the most finest wine which you had at home.

You prepared everything onto the kitchen counter. Checking if you really had everything, you took all the stuff you prepared and put it onto the tray. You walked over to the cinema room and lit up the lights, seeing the huge bed prepared.

You placed the champagne onto the bedside table and then you started thinking. It needed something more special. With a flick of your wrist, you conjured a bowl of strawberries and another bowl of boiled chocolate.

The water in the bathroom stopped. You flicked your wrists again and the whole room went dark except for the little lights which were all over the room. Narcissa’s favorite movie was prepared and it was about to be played on the white wall.

“Sweetie?”

“Cinema room love,” you shouted back and waited for her. When you saw the door handle move, you stepped closer and opened the door for Narcissa, but only few inches. “Close your eyes.”

“Why?”

“It’s a surprise,” you said and opened the doors making sure if her eyes were closed. When you saw her like that, you smiled, placing your hands over her eyes and you walked behind her.

“Y/n, what’s going on? And why do I smell levander candles?” Narcissa asked and you only smiled, kissing her onto her naked shoulder since she only had her nightgown on.

“It’s a surprise, remember?”

You led her inside of the room. Closing the doors behind you two, you leant closer and kissed her again, with words:

“Happy birthday,” you whispered and took your hands off her face.

The following thing what happened was…. Silence. You took Narcissa’s hand and walked next to her so you were standing side by side and looked at her.

“Y/n-“ she said and looked at you. Smiling at her innocently, you took her face into your hands and rested your forehead against hers.

“Happy birthday beautiful.”

“Thank you,” Narcissa thanked and you saw that her eyes were glistening. You took her chin and led the woman into a kiss. Placing your hands onto her hips, you kissed her deeply and you felt how Narcissa relaxed. “Y/n- when did you-“

“Hush,” you shushed her as soon as you released her from the prison of your lips and kissed her once again. Taking her by her hands, you backed to the bed and sat down. Narcissa sat onto your thighs and she kept kissing you.

When you tasted salt on your lips, you softly pulled away and brushed her cheeks with your thumbs. Narcissa breathed out and looked you into your eyes.

“I will start your favorite movie and we can cuddle,” you said with a little kiss arriving onto her nose.

“We are watching Princess’s diaries?”

“Of course,” you smiled at her and started the movie with a smooth movement of your fingers. You took Narcissa’s thighs and moved up to the headboard. Narcissa rolled off your body and you were laying next to each other.

Reaching out your hands, you took the two glasses of champagne. Narcissa took it with a smile on her lips and then she raised her glass.

“To you my love,” you said and Narcissa blushed. Hardly. She took a sip from her glass and you did as well. She handed the glass to you and you placed them both onto the bedside table again. Then you moved closer to Narcissa and she laid onto your chest, her face turned to the movie.

Knowing that she was enjoying it, you started playing with her hair. Curling it around your finger, you weren’t watching the movie but you were watching her.

Narcissa’s face was rested. All the small wrinkles seemed like ironed and when you saw her beautiful eyes, you knew that she was feeling good. Blinking from time to time she was interested in the movie clearly.

By a wave of your finger you moved the strawberries with chocolate in front of her. She looked down at them and then she looked up at you, earning a forehead kiss from her lover. Seeing that she was blushing even harder, you smiled.

“I love you so much,” Narcissa whispered and you leant closer.

“I love you even more princess,” you whispered back and conjured Narcissa a tiara. She chuckled like a teenager and you looked at her. “May I?”

“Yes.”

You softly placed the diamond tiara into her hair and Narcissa kept looking up. When she looked at you, she blowed you a kiss and you pretended to catch it with your lips, kissing her back in the air. And then Narcissa turned all of her attention to the movie.

You looked at Narcissa carefully. You couldn’t see in her face that she was getting older and older every day, she seemed like the young woman you fell in love with, even after all those years. The young girl who had always had a smile on her face and it didn’t matter what was going on.

Being happy that she finally got a whole day for herself and mostly about herself, you hoped she liked it. Your attention turned back to the movie and your hand was playing with her hair.

That one moment you realized that, there will be a lot more birthdays you would spend with her. A lot more beautiful and peaceful moments you could enjoy. There was no rush. She was all you wanted and desired. She was your perfect birthday girl.

Princess of Slytherin: Harry Potter x child princess reader platonic.

Age: 11. Reader Chan is a young princess starting her first year at Hogwarts. She is sorted into Slytherin and is the only first year. Takes place during prisoner of Azkaban. Ps she has heterochromia.

Warning: death.

K/N: Kingdom name.

You are sitting at your desk doing your math lessons on potions until you heard a tapping noise from your window. Looking up from the now finished paper you saw a milky white owl with a letter in its beak “Thank you.” You said to the owl giving it a mouse and watching it fly away with its meal.

You looked down at the letter with the Hogwarts symbol on it and carefully opened the envelope with clammy hands and your eyes closed.

Slowly opening your Green and charcoal eyes you saw that the letter read “Dear Princess Y/N L/N of K/N we are happy to announce that you are accepted into Hogwarts. We are looking forward to meeting you in person. You arrive on September 1 sign Professor McGonagall.” You then saw a list of stuff you needed such as books, robes, a wand and a pet specifically an owl, cat, rat or toad.

You began dashing out of your room towards the throne room where you knew your grandmother was while dodging servants, guards, nannies and your tutors along the way “Princess Y/N L/N it is unladylike to run in the palace.” One of your tutors said “Sorry.” You said slowing down a bit with your acceptance letter in hand “Ohh congratulations your highness.” Said tutor said followed by the people in the hall “Thank you all.” You said disappearing from sight.

You finally made it to the throne room and saw your grandmother who raised you after your parents died suddenly when you were a baby. She was sitting on her silver throne with green silks surrounding it with a loving smile on her face “My grandchild! What has excited you so?” She asked until you held up your acceptance letter “I got accepted mama.” You said in excitement “That’s wonderful news dear. We shall go shopping immediately for your school supplies.” She said as you went to your room to Chang into more comfortable clothes such as a f/c sweater with skinny jeans and f/c converse.

You and your grandmother are at the fire place with a few guards but one of them was holding a bowl of strange powder “Mama why are we at the fireplace?” You asked her as she smiles “you’ll see she said taking your hand and a fist full of powder then she said a spell “Diagon alley.” She chanted and both of you are engulfed in green flames.

You both are now in front of a shopping place filled with wizards and witches with pets “Y/N my dear welcome to Diagon alley.” She said as your looking around in awe “Wow. This is where we are getting my supplies?” You asked “Yes but first we must go to the bank for your money.” She said leading you to a building that said “Gringrotts wizarding bank.” You read the sign on the building while walking towards it.

Once you’re inside the building you saw goblins working around and helping people make deposits or withdrawals. You and your grandmother walked over to a goblin while she pulls a key out of her cardigan “Excuse me? I would like to make a withdrawal for Y/N L/N.” She said catching the goblins attention “Princess Y/N L/N?” He asked looking at you “My god! Yes of course you’re majesty.” He said taking the key and leading you to a vault with a lot of bronze knuts, silver sickles and golden galleons “So what brings the queen and princess to the bank?” He asked “Would you like to tell him darling?” Your grandmother asked “I’ve been accepted into Hogwarts.” You said happily “ahh yes! You need the proper amount of money for supplies.” He said helping you with the right amount with it in a sack “Thank you.” You said taking the sack and putting it in your purse “Have a good day your highness’s.” The goblin said as you and your grandmother walked out of the bank.

“Where to now Mama?” You asked “Now we have to get your books.” She said walking towards a shop that said “Flourish and Blotts.” You walked in and immediately found the school books section “Potions, dark arts.” You heard your grandmother name the books you needed this year “Ahh yes they have them all here let’s go check them out.” She said handing them to you and leading you to the check out counter “Excuse me? I would like to buy these books please.” You told the man behind the counter handing him the books “Ahh I see your attending Hogwarts.” He said checking them out and putting the books in a bag “You may wanna be careful with the monster books they are bitters.” He said giving you the bag “Thank you.” You told the man while giving him the right amount of change and walked out with your grandmother.

“Now to Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions to get your robes.” She said walking to another shop. You saw a lot of robes in different styles and sizes on manikins “Ahh good afternoon ladies! What can I get for you two?” A kind woman asked walking up “My granddaughter needs robes for school. She’s going to Hogwarts.” You’re grandmother said to the woman who smiled “oh I’ll need her measurements.” The lady said running to the back to get a measuring tape.” Once she came back she asked you to step on a stool “Stand right here dear and lift your arms up.” She said as you did what she told you “Oh my. Your quite small for an 11 year old.” She said allowing you to get down from the stool while she ran in the back again “Is that bad Mama?” You asked your grandmother “That is concerning. Have you’ve been eating alright dear?” She asked “Yes I’ve been eating alright.” You answered your grandmother until the lady came back with the smallest robes she has “try these on.” She said handing you a summer robe that fit you greatly “ok now this one.” She gave you a winter robe this time that fits you as well “Wonderful they fit.” She said leading you and your grandmother to the register to pay while at the register you saw packets of black tights on sale so you grabbed two and put them on the counter so she can put them in a bag “Have a lovely school year dear.” She said as you gave her the right amount of money “Thank you have a lovely day as well.” You said taking the bag and following your grandmother.

“Time to go to Ollivanders for your wand.” She said leading you to your third stop. “Ahh afternoon ladies.” A man said walking towards you and your grandmother “Afternoon. My grandchild needs a wand! She’s going to Hogwarts this year.” Your grandmother said “Y/N L/N sir.” You said giving the man your name making his eyes widen “Y/N L/N? Princess Y/N L/N! My it’s an honor your parents came to my shop for their wands when they were first years.” He said fondly making your grandmother smile “Let’s start looking for a wand for you.” He said “Try this one.” He said giving you a cherry wood wand. Waving it around it only sparked and caused a paper to catch fire “Sorry.” You said as Ollivander puts the fire out “quite alright. Let’s keep looking.” after trying out 15 wands you still didn’t find a wand right for you “I wonder.” He said walking over to a shelf and pulled out a square box “Try this.” He said handing you the box. Opening it you saw a lovely silver necklace of a snake with emeralds on the snake and a teardrop shaped emerald dangling from it “It looks lovely! Give it a go dear.” Your grandmother encouraged you gladly put the necklace on and waved your hands around making butterflies fly around you “You found your wand. Or magic necklace in this case.” He said as you paid him “Thank you so much.” You said walking out of the shop very happy.

After the wand shop you saw that it’s 2:00PM “Let’s have lunch. Then we can get you a pet.” Your grandmother said as your heading to a restaurant for lunch.

After lunch you and your grandmother went to the last shop for your pet “Magical Menagerie.” You can hear hooting, screeching, meowing, croaking and chittering. Walking in you saw many pets and decided to look around while your grandmother spoked with the manager.

You saw a pin of cats and saw a pitch black kitten sleeping peacefully, you gently petted its head making it wake up and meow curiously at you and lick your hand “She seems to like you.” The manager said “I want this one mama.” You said liking the kitten as well “Of course dear. It seems really fond of you.” She said as your walking to the register with your new kitten “What would you like to name her?” The manager asked getting the supplies the kitten needed “Midnight.” You said excitedly “Midnight it is.” she said allowing you to sign the papers while she puts Midnight in her cage.

After you left the pet shop you and your grandmother made your way back to the muggle world and returned to the palace at 4:00 PM.

Later in September 1:

At 6:30 you woke up and started getting ready for the journey to Hogwarts and say goodbye to the palace staff.

You didn’t get to eat breakfast because the train departed at 7:30 so you and your grandmother left the palace after getting ready with your belongings in trunks and in the back of the carriage.

During the ride your grandmother gave you your train ticket that she got three days before you had to leave.

Later at the station you got a trolley to put your belongings and Midnight on then continue walking towards the station but your grandmothers owl Lofty flys towards her “I thought I canceled that meeting. Y/N my dear I’m needed at a meeting. You have to go without me.” She said upset while hugging you “Go on Mama. I can handle myself.” You told your grandmother hugging her back “I will see you at a break or during the summer.” She said tearfully kissing your forehead and walking off back to the muggle world and to the palace “Looks like it’s just us for now Midnight.” You said walking on until you saw a boy a bit older than you disappear at a pillar with an elderly woman saying goodbye to him “Excuse me ma’am!? Is this how you get to the Hogwarts express?” You asked her “Yes it is dear. I see your a first year, all you have to do is run straight into that wall and you’r at the train.” She said giving you the instructions “Ok thank you ma’am.” You said thanking the woman doing as she said you are running into the pillar while hearing the lady say “Such a polite girl.” and you’re In front of the train to Hogwarts “We made it girl.” You told Midnight who meowed in excitement making you laugh as your walking to the train where the conductor would be to take tickets.

A few moments later:

You handed your ticket to the conductor who bows when he saw your name “It is a privilege Princess Y/N.” He said allowing you on while train staff took your luggage and Midnight to the back of the train.

Your walking around the train to find that almost all the carts were taken until you saw one with three kids a bit older then you walking into it and a man named Lupin asleep “Excuse me is this full?” You asked “No come on in.” The boy with glasses said “Thank you. Oh you’re Harry Potter, I’ve heard a lot about you.” You said remembering the news papers you saw for the past two years “I’ve never seen you in Hogwarts before. I’m Hermione, Hermione Granger. That’s Ron Weasley over there.” The brown haired older girl said introducing herself and the red haired boy “Oh this is my first year in Hogwarts. And I’m Y/N, Y/N L/N.” You said making their eyes widen “Y/N L/N, as in Princess Y/N L/N of K/N?” Ron asked until the train started stopping “Why are we stopping we can’t be there already!?” Hermonie asked puzzled until Ron spoke “I think I saw something moving.” He said as frost appeared on the windows “What the?” You asked in shock as the room grew cold. You see something moving from the sliding glass door of the cart, flowing tattered robes swayed in the breeze and a bony hand sled the door open revealing a ghostly figure that floated towards you and Harry it was whispering something strange and you can hear a woman shouting your name “Y/N.” Then everything went black.

“princess Y/N? Harry? Can you hear me?” Hermione asked as your slowly regaining consciousness “eat this. It will give you your strength back. It’s chocolate.” The man Lupin said “Thank you.” You said taking the chocolate as Lupin and the older kids began to talk. A few hours later you, Hermione and the boys changed into your robes.

After you put on your all black robes you saw that they were in house Gryffindor “Can’t wait to see what house you’re in princess Y/N.” Ron said placing a hand on your shoulder making Harry and Hermione smile “There’s no need to call me princess. We are schoolmates after all. Just call me Y/N.” You said not liking formalities “wether what house you’re in I hope we can be friends.” Hermione said “Even if you were put in Slytherin we will still be your friends.” Harry said in a supportive manner.

After the train stopped all of you walked out of the train carful of the rain and into buggies that drove all of you the rest of the way to Hogwarts making you excited but nervous at the same time.

Once you’re at the school you are greeted by the professors and headmaster Dumbledor “Welcome Y/N L/N.” He said happy to have a new student making you smile “It’s wonderful to be here headmaster Dumbledor.” You said walking in with your fellow schoolmates towards the dining hall where a chorus was singing the popular spell from Macbeth with toads in their hands and candles floating around them with a conductor conducting them.

After the song played Dumbledor gave his speech and introduced the new staff members then he introduced you “And this year we have a new student joining us. Please give a warm welcome to princess Y/N L/N of K/N.” He said giving you the cue to stand as the room went silent and eyes stared at you in awe “Hello everyone.” You said “We shall sort her into a house immediately.” He said as professor McGonagall conjured the sorting hat.

You walked up to the staff and let Professor McGonagall put the hat on you “Alright let’s see what house you should be put in your highness.” The hat said thinking long and hard “Let’s see. Oh Slytherin. Looks like Malfoy just earned his princess.” The hat said making your eyes widen while everyone clapped followed by whispers until a tall man in all black with short black hair came up to you “Welcome to slytherin little one. I look forward to seeing you in potions class.” He said walking back to the staff table while you made your way to your new houses table earning the eyes of your new house mates “Hey Draco it’s your new princess.” A chubby boy said as you sat down besides a blonde haired boy a bit older than you who looks down at you with a faint smile “Hello princess.” He whispered to you ‘I will protect her.’ He thinks to himself unaware of Professor Snapes and the golden trio having the same thoughts.

After dinner everyone is escorted to their dorm rooms but Dumbledor and Gonagall stopped you “Princess Y/N when I sensed that you were turning 11 we had a room made just for you in advance since you’re our only first year.” She said as she and Dumbledor led you to a room opposite of the slytherin girls room.

You saw that the room had green colored walls with silver and black trimming, green, black and silver curtains, the queen size bed had green sheets with a comforter of the slytherin’s crest on it and green curtains hanging on a wooden canopy, the floor had a green carpet with a rug of the slytherin crest, a silver wardrobe with green trim that had your new uniform in it, a vanity with some makeup and black nail polish on it, you’re luggage was sitting neatly on the bed and you saw Midnight was let out of her cage and was sitting on her kitty bed “Hi Midnight.” You said as she happily ran to you with a meow “we’ll let you get settled in.” Dumbledor said walking out with professor Gonagall “We have a room all to ourselves girl.” You told midnight who meowed happily while you unpacked starting with your clothes and robes that you saw are no longer solid black but had green on them with the slytherin’s crest on them and hung them in your wardrobe where you saw your uniform blouses on hangers, a drawer of school skirts and school shoes on top of the drawers. You then put your casual clothes away with help from magic, your school books, diary and fantasy novels on a book case and Midnights stuff in a neat corner.

After unpacking you went to your private bathroom to bathe since it was a long day and you had class in the morning.

After bathing you put on a black nightgown with a matching chiffon cover up, brushed your hair and braided it then did your nails and used magic to dry them.

The next day:

You are awaken by a ghost telling you that it was time to start getting ready for classes.

After taking a bath you put your new uniform on along with a pair of your new tights and your magic necklace then did your hair in a high ponytail with your bangs framing your face.

(You get the choker at breakfast.)

After getting dressed you and your housemates walked out of the dorm to the cafeteria for breakfast “Morning Princess.” Draco said bowing making everyone else do the same “There is no need for that we are house mates after all and please just call me Y/N.” You said as all of you made your way to breakfast.

At breakfast:

You are sitting with your house eating breakfast and chatting with your fellow slytherin’s when you saw a familiar owl flying with a box in its talons and a letter in its beaks “Hello Lofty.” You said as she puts the box on the table and gently places the letter in your hand then flew offs. You opened up the letter and saw that it was from your grandmother “Dear Y/N this was a gift from your parents, it has a protection spell and the gem will turn into the color of your house I hope it serves you well Love Mama. Ps I heard you are in Slytherin just like your parents.”

After reading the letter you opened the box to find a black choker with a teardrop shaped onyx hanging from a silver chain “Oh that looks lovely Y/N.” Pansey said as you put it on then watched as the gem turned emerald green making everyones eyes widen in awe.

At potions:

You are in potions with Professor Snape dual to you being the only first year you have the professors undivided attention. As your following the formula professor Snape wrote on the black bored you saw that something wasn’t right, instead of the brew being a slimy green color it was instead black and smoking.

Scared you did something wrong you called for your potion’s teacher “Professor Snape! I think I did something wrong.” You said fearfully as the smoke intensifies “Y/N get behind me.” Snape said pulling you behind him as the smoke turns into the creature you saw on the train.

Everything was a blur the creature floated towards you, a green shield appeared and screaming was heard followed by voices of more teachers and someone shouting “Riddikulus!” Then everything went Black.

Your eyes fluttered open to see a nurse placing a wet cloth on your forehead “Thank goodness you’re awake you’re highness.” She said telling other nurses to get the headmaster “What happened?” You asked sitting up while rubbing your aching head that felt like it was going to explode “You fell unconscious after casting that protection spell around professor Snape and yourself dear.” She said making you confused “I didn’t cast that spell.” You said confused “It was the choker you’re grandmother sent you. It has a protection spell in the gem.” Headmaster Dumbledor said walking in with professors Gonagall, Snape and Lupin and a man who looks like an older version of Draco but with long hair.

As they came to your bedside the blonde haired man spoke “So the rumors are true? Princess Y/N is attending Hogwarts.” He said smirking down at you “Lucius Malfoy! It’s an honor to be in your presence your highness.” He said bowing while holding his snake head cane “There is no need for that Mr Malfoy and please just call me Y/N.” You said until the doors open again “Y/N thank goodness you are alright.” Draco said with Gregory and Vincent following behind him and the golden trio walking in soon after “Father what are you doing here?” Draco asked Lucius “To see if the rumors about Princess Y/N attending Hogwarts are true. What about you son?” Lucius asked Draco “She’s my new house mate.” He answered making Lucius smirk “So she’s in Slytherin? Just like her parents. Son protect her with your life.” Lucius said to Draco turning back to you “It was an honor.” He said bowing and walking out of the infirmary not before giving a dirty look to the golden trio

(I know Lucius wasn’t in prisoner of Azkaban but I added him in my fanfic)

Months later:

It was almost Christmas break. One of your favorite times of the year because your grandmother’s schedule is free, the palace is beautifully decorated and the chefs make delicious food.

There was only a week left of school before winter break and you couldn’t wait to see your grandmother and the servants again.

Until Lofty flew in with a letter from your grandmothers doctor at dinner.

Worried you opened the letter to hear a recording of the doctors voice.

“Princess Y/N it’s doctor Newtails I’m sorry to tell you this the week before your break but. Your grandmother died from an unknown illness three days ago, we are so sorry. Apparently it is a curse that the woman born or married into the royal family is cursed with it when they hit a certain age we couldn’t do much I am terrified sorry. Sign Doctor Newtails.” After the recording finished the letter ripped itself into shreds and was carried away by the wind.

You sit in your seat in shock, you felt tears forming in your green and silver eyes. The room was so silent you could hear a pin drop but soon the sound of footsteps were heard “Y/N dear you are dismissed.” Dumbledor said gently seeing the devastation in your face as the other professors had looks of sadness on there faces “Thank you professor.” You said getting up and making haste for the Slytherin dorms.

As your walking all the ghost and paintings said apologies to you with you saying your thank you’s.

Once you’re in your room you locked the door and slide down on the green carpet hugging your knees and sobbing until Midnight meowed in curiosity “Mama died girl.” You whimpered to the kitten who rubbed her head on your ankle as you rubbed her head.
