"Welcome to the world of mini books and mini book kits, where small covers contain big ideas. You may ask, “Why make books so small?” In my humble opinion, mini books are equal parts cute and impressive. Why wouldn’t you want a mini bookshelf full of your own mini books?

The appeal of small books is not a new phenomenon. After all, there are existing miniature books from the 16th century. Small books have served as tests for book printers, collector’s items, and useful copies for people who valued their portability. The impressive collection of mini books scattered throughout print history is marvelous. And today, some traditional bookstores even carry the mini John Green books that hit the shelves in 2018.

There is also a growing demand and interest for non-readable mini books fit for a dollhouse. The Guardian covered the rising popularity of miniatures and dollhouses, explaining that with the rising cost of housing, adults interested in home ownership and décor turn to a miniature, affordable option. I think the same could be said about mini books and mini book kits. Maybe you want a small version of the books you love from the library or just mini versions of books you already own. Either way, the internet has plenty of mini books and mini book kits available for you to start your own curated collection."

ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

After two months of work, this bundle of 42 printable coloring pages will be released!

This art’s journey will now be up to y’all and the whole world of color is available for you to explore!

Some details:

✨It will initially be sold on Etsy for $16 and will in include all the drawings for you to print out whenever you want.

✨The drawings include: 31 drawings from the 2023 Suptober event (which is 16 official prompts and then 15 others I decided on) + 6 florals + 3 bonus drawings + 2 drawings of the cover - one with the text and one without.

✨These drawings are for personal enjoyment and not to be resold either as lineart or colored in. You also cannot repost as if it’s your own. However if you color these and want to post to social media feel free! Tag me so I can see it!

✨Why I chose this price: I am looking to save up money for a new iPad because my needs have outgrown the small space of the iPad mini and it’s 64gb of storage.

All of these drawings are hand made and not generated by computers and so while it’s a little more than some pages out there, given the time and effort spent along with it all 100% being my own, I chose this price. I wanted to sell on my own personal website but I can’t afford to upgrade my monthly plan to allow that right now.

Have you ever noticed how big a penny actually is? My micro mini books are actually even smaller than a penny. But they are the perfect size to dangle from an earring. Featured in my clip are the #Tolkien books, a set of two pairs of earrings with The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. There are lots of other authors featured among my mini book earrings.
