Ok sooo…our new Mc in the new manga panel is a girl and just freaking WHY TF ARE THEY SO PRETTY!? Like Sir why must you make all your characters so hot!? Mr. Yana Toboso WHY
IN CELEBRATION OF XISUMA IN MCC: one of my favorite xisuma clips of all time. "i made bedwars :(". important additional knowledge: they then proceeded to suck ass so badly. and this is also after they had already sucked so badly,
Jason *dying his hair black*: you know I started dying my hair before Robin.
Dick: yeah why?
Jason: their's like five red heads in Gotham and I knew as a kid for a fact that one was Ivy and one was Riddler. Then I became Robin to find out the other was Batgirl/Barbra and finally Kate Batman's cousin who's now Batwoman-
Dick: Yeah Red Heads in Gotham are either heroes or villains
Jason: -yeah so I didn't want to draw attention to myself.
Dick: ...Jay?
Jason: what?
Dick: I don't think it worked you've been a hero, villain and now anti-hero.
I am figuring out what to do in regard to the character, and if I want to make her an MC or an OC. An OC would work better (as I could incorporate her into my T/C world), but the fandom prefers Ethan with an MC. And while I write for me primarily, I do write for y’all too.
I was raring to go with Eva, then some things happened that quelled my enthusiasm. Now, I am not even sure I want to go in the same direction anymore. My Greek-Latina MC may just not be the way to go. I’ll see.
I still love Ethan and Casey… but man… IMO she is just so much better with Tobias it is harder to write now. I am at a loss. lol
At this point I am going to do a couple short series I had in mind for Ethan/Casey (both AU’s) and I will figure out the rest. I don’t want to force it, because as a writer if I am not enthusiastic about what I am writing, it doesn’t turn out good. So… I can’t give you a definite answer. Sorry about that. You will know when I do. lol
Hey, so today KING IN LIMBO volume 1 came out, and I HIGHLY recommend it.
Full disclosure: I’m the letterer on this manga. Kodansha paid me for that, but not to plug this book, or to gush about it with the editor. This is probably my favorite title I’ve ever worked on. The SF premise is very cool and the sense of place is spot on, but what makes KING IN LIMBO stand out is the multifaceted, layered main character.
If you’re into grounded, character-heavy SF and want more comics for mature readers please check it out.
I just got the script and assets for the third and final volume and am so excited to see how it wraps up.
