Clint: So... how it is to be the only straight person in this team, Stark?
Tony: *Calmy sipping his coffee* I haven't been straight one day in my life, Barton, so I wouldn't know the answer for that.
Crack sounds
Tony: *Turns around* What the fu-
Steve: *Totally blushed while holding a piece of table on his right hand* I'm sorry....
Bucky: *Staring at Tony while totally ignoring his own piece of table being held by his metal arm* So, are you free tonight, dollface?
Clint: *Shocked* YOU BROKE THE TABLE!
Tony: *Satisfied smirk* I might be free tonight if someone helps me finish the last armor prototype I'm working on before 6 o'clock.
Bucky and Steve: *Start running towards the lab*
Clint: They broke the breakfast table....
Tony: *Pats the archer's shoulders* I'll make them fix it later today, birdbrain. Now, if you excuse me, I have to go and make sure they're not breaking my work tables.

↬ notes: hi, everyone! I'm currently not really active at the moment so please don't feel disheartened if I haven't been responding to your messages or tagged posts. I'm taking a small break and only coming online for a bit to catch up on some messages, read fics or queue posts. I'll be back to properly posting and interacting soon but in the meantime I wanted to share that I finished up this draft over the weekend. I was actually debating if I should post this but then just decided to go for it! sending all my love xx
nanami’s head is heavy, completely clouded with despair, and it tints his brown eyes a shade of murky gray. the walls of his beautiful home feel narrow, almost claustrophobic, which explains why he’s struggling to catch his breath right now. stepping into the hallway, he instinctively peeks into the dining area to find you and his daughter eating dinner together. she’s sitting on the chair, her legs far too short to even touch the ground, holding a half eaten onigiri between her small hands. you are by her side, sneakily tidying up after her as you brush away the stray beads of rice trickling onto the table.
a little glow blooms in nanami’s heart at the sight of you both but there is a vicious creature residing in the pit of his stomach that veils the bright light away.
he quietly takes off his jacket, his bruised fingers loosening the tie around his neck. he clears his throat before announcing with exhaustion to you both that he’s finally home.
your eyes meet his, the muscles on your face falling immediately. he can practically feel the blood rushing through your veins as worry washes over you. the reaction makes his chest uncomfortably tight, but he knows that he can’t hide his expressions around you like he used to.
you both move together so fluidly now, like a single body of water that ebbs and flows to its own natural current.
he escaped the night’s fight with a few cuts and a couple of bad bruises, but there is currently a student on shoko’s table who barely made it through. the young man arrived at jujutsu tech only a couple of weeks ago, but his naive and charismatic qualities turned into fatal flaws in the world of sorcery.
he bit off more than he could chew by trying to take on a special grade curse.
shoko promised nanami that she would heal the boy, but admitted there was only so much she can do in regards to the aftermath of his injuries. the sorcerer couldn’t bare to leave him behind, but gojo refused that he stay and insisted that he return back home to his pretty wife and adorable daughter immediately.
“I’ll handle things from here,” is what his superior said, while nanami’s guilt climbed up his throat.
that student was his responsibility...
...and he failed him entirely.
“papa’s home!” his daughter chirps. the pitch of her voice ringing in nanami’s ears to pull him back to the present and far away from the scene where life and death were dancing together in a tango.  “papa, look, look...mama and I made onigiri!”
her feet bounces up and down, and there’s a touch of a pink against her cheeks when her mouth stretches into a beaming grin. the innocence in her eyes makes nanami falter and he can feel himself falling deeper into the abyss. for a minute he resents himself for selfishly bringing such a beautiful thing into this world, only to gamble with the fact that she may potentially be in his shoes one day.
he begs for that outcome to never happen, beseeches whatever higher power above him that exists to spare her from this life. she should never have to go through this, never have to experience these heartbreaks that only wither a person down.
“I can see that,” nanami replies in a low voice before shifting his attention to his feet.
right now, he can’t stomach an ounce of her purity, and it radiates around her like a halo. she's so unbothered by his presence, so completely unaware of the sudden change in the atmosphere around her...
“we made tuna, salmon, and veggies...” she babbles on.
“how nice...” nanami curtly interrupts, before anxiously running his fingers through the strands of his messy blonde hair.
“which one do you want, papa?” she questions eagerly, pointing her sticky hands at the plate to show off the selection of triangles.
“sweets,” you interject just as nanami turns on his heel to walk in the other direction, “how about we finish up eating our dinner, and we can save some for your daddy tomorrow...”
“nooo!” she whines far too loudly, which forces nanami to stop dead in his tracks. he glances over his shoulder to see her puffing out her bottom lip with disappointment, “you said...you said we make it so we eat together!”
she’s only six.
she can’t perceive that her father is struggling to hold himself together. deep down inside nanami knows that, but it isn’t enough to keep his cool. he doesn’t know why his daughter’s insistence causes him to pinch the front of his brows with annoyance or why he shoots a frustrated look in her direction.
he doesn’t know why he’s suddenly picturing shoko calling the student’s parents to deliver the news that the man who was supposed to protect their child was unsuccessful in his duty.
he doesn’t know why he feels at fault for everything that happened, even though the circumstances of the events were completely out of his control.
he doesn’t know why he’s imagining himself on the receiving end of a very similar call, or why he can’t stop picturing his precious daughter on that table instead…
all of this pummels into him, and the monster emerges out from it’s cave.
“be quiet and stop making such a fuss.”
his voice comes out sharper than expected, and the expulsion of his frustration allows him to see the crystal clear picture before him.
the room is dead silent.
your face is in full shock at the hissing tone of your sweet husband snapping at his darling baby girl who he only ever speaks to with a gentle voice.
what truly unravels nanami is the look that his daughter is giving him - her angelic features are sullen, but her eyes remain wide with surprise. her bottom lip is slack, and the only sound he can hear is her uneasy breathing. her eyes, the most beautiful gems in existence, twinkle as tears begin to form and she tries to quickly blink them away before turning her attention back to her plate.
nanami doesn’t know he managed to stop time itself but the three of you remain frozen in place.
he regrets his words immediately.
he wants nothing more than to pull his precious girl close into his chest and smother her with apologies. the part of him with sense tells him to follow through and make things right with her, but instead he begrudgingly continues to wallow in his own self pity as he walks over to his room.
・゚ ・゚·:。・゚゚・・゚ ・゚·:。・゚゚・
the house is unusually quiet now, the music of domestic joy morphing into hushed murmurs and whispers outside your room door. you settle your crestfallen daughter into her bedroom before moving to check on your husband next.
fresh out of the shower, nanami is seated on the edge of the bed with his exhausted eyes pressed firmly into the palms of his hands. he exhales a heavy breath, his dirty work clothes still piled just outside the bathroom, and your heart nearly collapses seeing him in such a state of disarray.
you kneel before him, two hands sliding across the soft material of his sweats as you brush them along his thighs before carefully bringing them up to circle around his wrists.
“kento?”
he allows you to pull his palms away but your throat constricts when a band forms tightly around your neck. you swallow the lump with an upturn of your brows as you are greeted with red, exhausted eyes. you cup that handsome face in your hands, your thumbs sweetly motioning back and forth across his cheeks as you try to soothe the tension away.
after all this time together, it hurts you to see that he still tries to hide his tears. nanami constantly holds himself to the highest standard, always ensuring that he can solidify himself as the rock for you and your daughter to depend on through thick and thin. it’s so rare for you to see him crack, to watch him crumble under the overbearing weight of the things that he is burdened to carry.
“you had a rough night,” you point out in a low, sympathetic voice and he simply just nods his head in acknowledgement.
his eyes flutter close again when you lean forward to press a tender, reassuring kiss on his brow. “you want a talk about it?”
the way his voice shakes makes you shiver, but you tentatively listen as he relays the events of the night before finally concluding that satoru called him only a few minutes ago to reassure him that the student in question is alright.
“he lost an eye, but at least he’s alive...” he concludes somberly, the warble in his final statement prompting you to wrap your arms around his neck as you pull him in for a protective hug.
nanami receives it with gratitude, strong arms circling around your waist as he buries his nose into the crook of your shoulder and breathes in.
your scent is a reminder of his permanent sanctuary.
a safety, a reassurance of home.
you stroke his blonde locks between your fingers until he exhales, "i'm so sorry," he breathes, "I...I didn't mean to snap like that..."
a tiny smile tugs at the corners of your lips, and you unravel yourself to cup his jaw into your palms once again. "I appreciate the apology, but I don't think I should be on the receiving end of it..." you hint sweetly.
nanami closes his eyes guiltily. "I'm a horrible father."
you click your tongue with disappointment, your face falling as your disapproval pinches between the space of your brows.
"you're just human," you remind him defensively, "you're a wonderful father, the best man that our daughter can look up to"
"did you see the look on her face?" he replies, his voice unnaturally small. the tender expression he gives you is filled with regret, and it's enough to make your heart ache all over again.
"kento," you contend, "don't do this to yourself. we're both going to have days where we mess up, but that doesn't mean that the problem can't be fixed."
you thread his hair between your fingers, like your brushing through rays sunlight. "she's waiting for me to read her a bedtime story," you explain, "but I'm sure she would rather be with you instead..."
"I doubt that," your husband replies as he reaches for your hand to kiss the inside of your palm.
"we will always love you, kento," you answer back, "unconditionally. on your good days and your bad ones"
he didn't even know how desperately he needed to hear that, for your certainty to remedy away all his sorrows, until they actually left your lips.
your husband's throat tightens, tears pricking his eyes once more but he hides them away when he leans in to seek out a kiss from the woman whose heart he deeply adores.
・゚ ・゚·:。・゚゚・・゚ ・゚·:。・゚゚・
nanami leans his shoulder against the frame of his daughter's room. his heart patters lightly, making him realize that he might actually be nervous. it's strange, he thinks, that he would feel hesitant to approach his own child considering that he was her guardian but nanami had never allowed his professional life to fracture into his personal one like this before.
she's seated on the floor next to a pile of books and her stuffed rabbit secured tightly underneath her arm. there's a warmth in his chest when when he makes note of the soft toy, because he purchased that himself the day she was born and the pair have been inseparable ever since.
he clears his throat, bringing his scuffed knuckles to gently knock on the door.
"my love?" he calls out to her.
his daughter perks up, her breathing changing slightly as it rises and falls with a hint of apprehension. she glances over her shoulder to see him.
"where's mama?" she asks, her question shattering the man into a million pieces at her subtle dismissal.
"taking a shower," he answers cooly, "but I'm here to get you ready for bed..."
her lovely eyes refuse to lock into his own, and she simply tucks her lip between her bottom teeth to avoid giving nanami a reply.
she looks so much like him when he was a child. he remembered when his parents used to scold him too, and how he would also hide away in his room. the only difference is that nanami's parents were far more traditional - a time where elders were never submissive to young hearts.
"may I come in?" he requests politely, ensuring that his daughter knew she had a choice if she wanted to speak to him.
her nostrils flare slightly while she considers him, but to his relief she nods her head eagerly.
nanami steps into her room, always feeling largely out of place amongst her things. "did you find a story for bed?" he asks.
she again quietly nods her head and picks up her favorite book; a compilation of japanese folktales with beautiful illustrations. you both have been reading one for her each night ever since she got it it as a present from her grandparents.
he crouches on his knees to meet her at eye level. "you've really been enjoying this one, haven't you?" he carries on, hoping to coax more words out of her.
“yeah,” she replies in the same mousy voice of uncertainty. she shifts her attention away when she stands on her feet, clutching onto the stuffed bunny tightly while her other hand swings the book by her side.
“and what tale are we reading tonight?”
she shrugs her shoulders with indifference, a hint of pink blushing her cheek. “I dunno. I…I can just until mama is ready…”
nanami visibly slumps. her rejection an entirely new painful experience that he's never endured before. he scratches the back of his head anxiously, finding himself at a loss for words. the seconds pass, an awkward bubble surrounding both father and daughter. it’s only broken when nanami exhales a sigh, and reaches his hands towards her waist to draw her into his frame.
“darling,” he addresses tenderly, “can you look at me?”
“no, you were mean…” she blurts out, her bottom lip trembling slightly.
nanami’s heart sinks.
that’s the first time he’s ever heard those words from her lips.
“I know,” he murmurs shamefully.
her mouth forms into a tiny button of a pout but she meets his eyes for the first time as he acknowledges his behavior.
nanami arches forward to kiss her forehead, “I shouldn’t have yelled at you like that, sweetheart. I’m so sorry if I upset or scared you”
she fidgets with the book in her hand. “did you not want onigiri?” she asks, her innocence tugging the corners of her father’s lips into a small grin.
“it wasn’t the onigiri, my love,” he reassures, “daddy just…had a bad day at work…”
“why was it bad?”
nanami sighs once again.
she still doesn’t know that he’s a sorcerer. you’ve both reduced his position to her by simply explaining that nanami “helps and protects people".
thankfully your daughter doesn’t pry too hard to ask any further questions.
“someone I know got hurt. so, daddy was a little shaken up when he came home…”
"shaken up?"
"scared, my love"
his daughter shakes her head in disbelief, “nu-uh, you never get scared, papa” she rebuts.
nanami huffs out a laugh, flashing her a full grin now as he brings his fingers to his chin to to ponder her sweet statement. he quirks his brow and cheekily replies, "we can't all be brave like you," in an attempt to lighten the mood.
his daughter narrows her eyes towards his hand, her mind instantly distracted with other things already. "you got hurt too papa!" she gasps, dropping the bunny by her side to point at his knuckles.
nanami glances at his fingers covered in red marks.
"wait!" she exclaims as she places the book by his side. "I have something!"
she spins on her heel and rushes towards one of her drawers. meanwhile, nanami just takes her in with his love soaked eyes, watching as she rummages through her stuff with determination until she scurries back his way.
"got it!" she squeaks with a smile, and to his surprise she jumps right into his arms with such nonchalance it nearly make him crumble on the spot.
your voice echoes in the back of his mind: "we will always love you, kento. unconditionally. on your good days and your bad ones"
"mama bought it for me," she explains, regaining her father's attention once more.
nanami rests his cheek on her shoulder, and inhales her powdery scent as he keeps one arm warmly secured around her waist. he watches her peel off the plaster of the band aid, lbefore grabbing his hand and placing it unevenly over his knuckles.
"now a kiss!" she adds, as she brings his hand to her mouth and exaggerates a loud "mwah" sound for emphasis. "mama says the kiss is what makes it all better"
nanami instantly feels significantly better from this remedy of love. he extends his digits out, and looks at the hot pink "hello kitty" band aid that now rests comfortably on his knuckles.
"thank you, my darling," he coos and peppers her cheek with a few kisses before turning her to face him once again. "you made me feel a lot better"
she flashes him an equally large smile in return, showing off her missing teeth.
"I did?"
nanami chuckles as he scoops her up in his arms to give her a well deserved bear hug. she laughs as he stands on his two feet, and sheds away any lingering thoughts of apprehension that may have stuck.
"you always do," he reassures, his soul vibrating back to life when he feels her return his embrace. “you think you can forgive me for how I spoke earlier?”
“yeah,” she confirms and squeezes him just a little tighter. "I love you lots, papa"
"oh, my angel," he hums, "you have no idea just how much I love you too..."
・゚ ・゚·:。・゚゚・・゚ ・゚·:。・゚゚・
after winding down from your evening pampering session, you decide to pass by your daughter's room to check on your little family. you peer through the cracked door to find nanami spread out on your daughter’s bed, with your daughter curled into side and her head resting on his chest.
“did I come from a peach too like momotarō?” you hear her ask, but your heart flutters at the sight of your husband’s pearly whites.
you’ll never get over how much you love seeing him smile with such genuine emotion.
“no,” you hear nanami reply calmly, his finger lightly holding the page open. “you remember your mother explaining how you used to live in her stomach first?”
“oh yeah,” your daughter replies with a hint of disappointment over the fact that she was not birthed from a piece of fruit as mentioned in one of her favorite folk tales.
“shall I carry on?”
“uh-huh,” she answers and she readjusts her position to get even more comfortable. "I think if we look hard enough we might find momotarō..."
"you think so?" your husband wonders with honest curiosity.
"I know so, papa!"
"how many peaches do you think we need to check?"
"hmmm," she mumbles, "maybe a million?"
"a million?" your husband dramatically replies, "that's a lot of peaches don't you think,"
"I mean, it's less than a billion..." she responds quite matter of factly.
you catch his gaze from between the door that’s ajar. his expression fully relaxes, and you smile knowingly in his direction at the sight of father and daughter making up.
“papa?” his daughter questions upon his sudden silence, but your husband keeps his focus on you as he hums in acknowledgement before replying, "you're not wrong, but it'll still be quite a challenge to cut through a million peaches..."
"we might need some help," your daughter adds on.
you blow him a secret kiss as to not interrupt further, and quietly close the door before heading back to your bedroom.

@genkioo submitted: Elloo Glitch!! This is my first ever post submission I just have something I wish to share and maybe put your own spin on it :)) So it's Shoyo's 3rd birthday, he's about to blow out his candles and then he says "I wish to be big brother" Izuku then glances at Y/N all smug but Y/N isn't even phased. The elder boys sighing in exasperation "great, here we go again" 😒 Cut to Izuku having to seduce convince (doesn't take much convincing on his part) his wife to have just one more little sprout 🌱
Hehehe, This is a good one.
Tumblr media
Warning: Mentions of a past miscarriage, Izuku's raging breeding kink, hurt and comfort.
"-Happy birthday to you!" You all sang as Shoyo stood with a bright smile, his hands on the table as he looked at the star cake in front of him. Your little three year old was vibrating with excitement, looking just about on the cusp of an anerysm as he seemed just about to explode in happiness.
You chuckled as you looked over at your youngest son. You ran a hand through his curly hair as you stood with your boys there together. "Make a wish sweetheart."
Your sweet little boy looked up at you with bright green eyes, looking so excited. He looked so much like how Izuku looked at his age. Shoyo squeezed his eyes. "I wish..." He took a moment. "I wanna little brother."
Immediately you stiffened at the request, your face growing hot as your face fell. That wasn't the wish you thought he'd make.
Shoyo blew out his candles happily blissfully unaware of his request.
You fought the will to look at your husband but you failed as you looked up at Izuku. Looking at you with a smug left sided smirk on your face was Izuku. He moved his eyebrows up and down which made you laugh.
You didn't even get to speak when you heard a.
"NO!" You turned to Toshinori who sat at the opposite side of the table. He gave your husband a pointed look. "Respectfully, no! There's enough of us!" He pointed out to the four of them.
Izuku leaned back in the chair he was sitting in, putting his hands up innocently. "I never said anything." he stated despite looking the most smug you have seen him in a while.
"Yah but you were thinking something! Mom don't let that man touch you!"
"That man!?"
"Don't touch my mom!"
"Y/N please!"
You laughed at your husband as you packed away Shoyo's birthday cake into the fridge. Izuku had been begging you ever since the kids went to bed for the both of you to try again. "Izuku, we already have four boys." You reminded him.
"I know but we could always have more! I'm rich!" You chuckled as you turned to look at your husband who was motioning to himself with a bright smile. "Come on, what's one more little sprout?" He asked needly. "I promise you Y/N, we have one more and I'll never ask for another one again."
"We both know that's a lie." You stated.
"I'll even get my balls chopped off!" You looked back at him with unbelieving expression, both of you knowing that be was lying. "Please!" He begged putting his hands together. Watching your large husband who was over two hundred pounds of muscle and fat, beg you for another baby was humorous. "Just one more sprout."
You rolled your eyes as you stood against the counter. "That's a lot, Izuku. It's a whole six months of sleeping less, another sprout to drive everywhere, to enrol in school, to take and send to university. It's an over twenty-year commitment, and don't say that we have the money for it." You pointed out, making him close his mouth at the point he was going to make. "You're still very busy as the Number One and training Toshinori. Balancing four children is already a hassle as is."
You turned away from him, moving to wipe the counter of icing. Now it wasn't the fact that you didn't want another child, you loved every one of your sprouts and wouldn't regret them for the world. But, you weren't oblivious to the huge commitment that they were.
Besides, you knew you weren't exactly getting any younger. With four boys, a loving husband and a blessed amount of money all at the age of forty-one, you were ready to hang up the towel and call yourself happy with your life. You were a whole lot blessed than you ever thought you could be.
Izuku walked up to stand behind you, he wrapped his arms around you, and you knew you were done for. Slow kisses moved up your neck over to your ear. "Please..." He whispered in your ear, pressing his large tall body up against you, pressing you into the counter.
You closed your eyes as you tried to keep control of yourself. You took in a deep breath. "Izuku..."
"You know how much I love it when you're pregnant." He spoke lowly into your ear. His hands moved underneath your shirt, moving up and down your side. "You're so radiant and beautiful," He kissed your jaw. You let go of the cloth you were holding leaning back against his warm body as he held you. "So gorgeous as you're heavy with my child. There's nothing sexier." He whispered. "How you always..." You felt one of his hands sneak their way in front of you to cup your sex over your cotton shorts making you suck in a breath. You could feel the heavy bulge in his sweatpants calling your name that was against your ass. "You always get so needy when you're pregnant, sweetheart."
Hell, you were needy right now. A part of you wanted to just bend over the counter and let him have you. It had been a while since the both of you took sex out of your bedroom, for obvious reasons. It was late, the sprouts were asleep or at least in their rooms. You really could just risk it.
You moved a hand to rub behind his neck with a sweet hum at the thought of it all. Izuku treated you like a queen whenever you were pregnant. He would take so much time off of work to make sure that you were okay with the boys and Inko would often be here for the last few months of your pregnancy to help around the house especially with the boys.
However a thought struck you that made you still.
"Izuku..."
"Hm?"
"I'm not as young as I used to be, you know." You whispered. You didn't turn to face him, you didn't even try. You were quiet as you stared off to the outside. "Especially after Hero..." Your voice was quieter and you felt your husband stiffen.
You had both suffered a miscarriage a year after having Hero, who was currently now five. It was a scary moment, not because you were both particularly trying for a baby, but because it had never happened before. You had never been at high risk nor did you even know you were pregnant or for how long.
It was a terrifying moment in your life because you didn't know what was wrong and caring for a one year old by yourself while Asahi and Toshinori were in primary school, you didn't know what to do. It was after calling Mina who was luckily at home with Sero, did you leave Sero with Hero and Mina drove you to the hospital.
You had never seen Izuku look so terrified in his life.
You both had Shoyo two years later and when you did, it was an anxious time for the both of you but you were both so grateful when he was born a healthy little baby boy.
You were both silent as you stood in the kitchen. It felt heavy for a moment before Izuku moved you to look at him. "My love..." You looked up at him, his eyes looking at you genuinely warm and gentle. "If... if you really don't want to have another sprout, then we're done." You saw his eyebrows furrow as he looked at you deathly serious.
Your eyes widened in surprise. "No, Izuku, if you want-"
"No, I am dead serious. If you don't want to have another kid, I won't ever bring it up again." He stated seriously as he looked at you. "I might be the father of our children but you're their mother. Every single child we conceive together, you have a special relationship with them that I will never ever fully understand. If you are willing, we'll do this together, just like we always do. Even if we're scared."
You felt tears in your eyes as you gave him a smile. Surprisingly, one of the most attractive things your husband could ever do wasn't his body, or his job or even the photoshoots he did. It was when he was a good and loving husband and even a better father.
You blinked, letting tears fall as you nodded your head. Izuku smiled as he pulled you into his arms. You held him like that, enjoying his warm embrace as you rest your head against his chest. You heard the steady thump of his heart.
"One more." You whispered, nodding your head. "One more and then I'm finished."
"Are you sure?"
"Yah. Just one more sprout. Besides... I've missed seeing you hold a baby."
You could practically feel the smile on his face. "Really?" You nodded affirmitavely. "So just one more sprout?
"Just one more sprout."

love me, ever so gently
pairing: austin butler x reader
summary: you recently moved to a new apartment, making new some eccentric friends along the way. but what you didn't expect was falling in love with a stranger. a stranger you somehow couldn't stop thinking about
words: 2.1k
warnings: depictions of domestic abuse, dark themes of relationships
author's note: i made this on an extremely impulsive whim and i have never been so terrified of posting this. my anxiety of trying to make this story went from writing this for three days straight to now suddenly having multiple parts. i'm literally almost done with part III so we'll see how far this goes. hopefully you like my very first fic... i haven't written in years... ehh... and thank you in advance for reading this :3
next part
part I
"you're either incredibly talented or horribly lousy."
george stated right before you tore down the stack of books from the pile. you groaned in frustration, ignoring that thing buried right under the surface of your heart. if bookstores and libraries could make something aesthetically pleasing, then so could you. just like you were able to do a year ago.
you huffed once more before starting the process over again.
george took your silence as a precautionary warning, tentatively placing a small cup of coffee next to you, hoping maybe a little space and some caffeine couldn't hurt your pride more than he did.
"as long as you don't make a mess, it makes my job a thousand times easier," he offered you a toothy, yet slightly lopsided grin before leaving you to your uncomplicated complicated endeavors.
george circled around the remaining tables that were also still being set up for the fair at the community center. you were a regular volunteer for these events, moreso because your neighbors invited you to them in the first place. one of your neighbors being george, who hobbled right back to where you were, smiling proudly at his empty tray.
"well, my services are done."
he flashed another innocent grin before leaving you be, "make sure you get that done before cass sees you!"
"george I'm going to throw this empty tray at you."
he let out a belly laugh, even though he was as thick as a twig. he pulled you over to him, wrapping his arm around your shoulder.
"there she is!"
you rolled your eyes at him, but couldn't help a smile. you still remember when you met him for the first time.
~ ~
your first week at the new apartment building was stressful enough, splitting your belongings in each individualized box and suitcase. and somehow through all that stress, someone as joyous as george just so happened to crash right into you with all of his groceries.
and he had this distinct smell, something between a book you haven't opened in years and an old worn out knitted sweater. at the time, he greeted you like you've been friends for years, something you deeply missed when you moved away from your hometown. from everyone.
"welcome to the neighborhood!!" he screamed in your ear, forgetting his hearing aids before he left for the store. you let out a polite, yet awkward, kind of laugh, thanking him for his very enthusiastic greeting. it's funny to look back on it now, a stranger you would've never imagined becoming friends with. including everyone else you met along the way.
~ ~
evelyn and cassandra peered from the hallway behind you, coming from the kitchen. cassandra with her big box of jewelry for her stand, while evelyn followed suit.
"did george call me cass again? i hate when he calls me cass. it sounds like ass."
"because you are an ass."
cassandra shot him a quick glaring look before he started laughing again, placing her boxes down. she pointed a shaky finger at him.
"you know one of these days, i really hope i end up dying before you. i can't stand that laugh of yours." she grumbled, which made you laugh.
"can't keep a happy man down cass. you're stuck with me forever," he bellowed, leaving a messy kiss on her cheek before she swatted him away. george dramatically saluted them before hobbling away again, wanting to mingle and socialize before the fair officially opens.
cassandra gathered her things once more as she eyed your table with a sense of pride.
"you never cease to amazing me sweetie. i always love how you decorate your books."
her words swelled in your heart and that thing that was buried right under the surface dissipated, only just for a moment. and you were completely and utterly okay with that.
"thanks cassie..." your voice drifting ever so softly. like she was going to catch it in the end like she always does.
~ ~
when you met cassandra last year, you heard her voice before you saw her. you were seated at the lobby of your apartment building, waiting for a blind date that never picked you up. it was about two hours before you decided to call it and when you looked up, you saw her.
she was a bright eyed woman, her grey hair tossed behind a small pink scarf, something you've only seen worn a few times or rather only in movies. she looked at you with a look of concern. you weren't crying of course, why waste tears on some stranger right?
but you got your hopes up immensely high and someone as experienced in her years as she was, she could tell a disappointed look when she saw one.
"oh my dear, what's the matter? are you hurt?"
you shook your head no, having no energy to formally respond with a voice.
"come here love, let's bring you back home. do you live here?"
you nodded.
she waddled her way towards you, keeping you close to her. she was a tiny woman, hunched over slightly as she led you to the elevator. once you were both inside, she asked what floor you were on and pressed the appropriate button for you. her floor being the one below yours.
"sorry we have to stop at mine first..." she began and you shook her head to stop her.
"don't be. it's okay... i was heading up anyway." you finally had strength to talk again, "i should be saying sorry for keeping you from getting home."
she scoffed at your response, displaying one of the warmest smiles you've ever seen.
"sweetie, you're doing me a favor."
the elevator dinged and opened to her floor, the woman turning to walk out.
"i am?" you asked her and she nodded, standing outside the elevator doors.
"yes. because no man deserves to make someone as lovely as you this sad."
your face went from feeling defeated to utter confusion as the woman smiled again. this time knowing exactly what you were going to ask.
"i know disappointment when i see it."
and just like that, the elevator door closed.
~ ~
"how are you feeling otherwise?" cassandra asked you, momentarily glancing over at your beautiful table.
"better. only sometimes," you responded, a lump suddenly appearing in your throat. feeling as if you were half lying somewhere.
"that's okay. just remember that someone who's broken you then doesn't deserve to break you now," she gently held your cheek, looking at you as if for the first time again.
"and besides, who knows who you'll might meet today."
~ ~
cassandra's words rung in your ears, weighing heavy on a hopelessly romantic heart. being alone was easy and you weren't lying if you admitted that to anyone because it was true. that was one of the perks of moving here, along with meeting all of your new friends.
but being lonely... that was difficult. especially when the fall season would blend into the holidays. one night after the other. because everyone seemed to find their someone by the times gifts were supposed to be given. which is why you wanted to put everything into the community fair this year.
and because heartbreak anniversaries were apparently a thing on your calendar.
you glanced over at your table, the last few books lingered for awhile. some people glancing over at them, while others would pick it up just to place it back down again. you didn't really know why seeing a book not being chosen hurt a small part of you. but it did.
or maybe you knew but didn't want to face it.
soon enough, you noticed someone hovering near the entrance, like he was contemplating whether or not to let his curiousity get the best of him. it may have been a little more than an hour or so when he actually approached your table.
you quickly stood up in response, as you noticed him eyeing a few of the older books. his hands lingered on each cover, not saying a word. his hair was blonde, wavy and messy, like he'd just woken up. the rest of him was covered by a black mask.
you did notice the way his hands moved though, hesitating to pick something. shaking a bit, a shadow crossed your peripheral and you could've sworn you saw a bruise somewhere on his knuckles.
"do you need help finding anything?" your voice coming out a lot softer than you had hoped. he looked up and you felt this entire weight lift off of you. like something encapsulating you just shattered into a million pieces and suddenly you could breathe again.
his eyes were so blue, like you were swimming in this endless ocean full of life and somehow you couldn't tell the difference between the stillness of the water or the blueness of the sky.
you could see a slight smiling forming on his face before he shook his head no.
"oh well if you want anything... i really recommend any of the classics."
his eyes glimmered a bit, letting his hand linger on one of the few books he was eyeing before.
"how much is it?" his deep tone caught you by surprise as you hesitated to respond. your own voice catching in your throat.
"oh um... everything is free."
"really?"
and just like that, you noticed something switch in him, a sense of curiosity filling those calm waters.
"which ones have you read so far?"
you didn't realize it, but your eyes lit up at the question. and he noticed. a small smile forming on his face.
"oh this one is my favorite... i haven't finished it, but it was really good from where i left off," you pointed at pride and prejudice.
you smiled at him, like your excitement was taking over and he could tell how much you loved talking about books. his gaze never wavering as you spoke about the stories that overwhelmed you and the others that never lasted a few pages before you decided to stop. he listened with such intent, such intrigue, it made you feel like you were someone he had known for years.
his aura was beautiful and a part of you wished that something would lead to something which would lead to something else. you didn't even feel anything in that regard, not yet anyway, but that same part. it was pulling... gently. ever so gently tugging at your heart.
"thank you for all of your recommendations," he began, holding on to ever single book you spoke about. you were about to protest that he didn't have to, but he was adament on keeping every single one.
"are you sure you want to get all of them?" your voice wavering on worry, but all he did was smile at you, letting out a soft laugh.
"i'm sure."
his voice was so reassuring, you almost forgot to offer him a bag. there was a slight pause before you realized, eyes widened in embarrassment.
you quickly apologized to him, running to the back to get a bag. you left the table feeling this overwhelming warmness flow through you as you noticed your heart beating against your chest. you tried to hide the excitement, but your heart was already getting your hopes too high.
but when you came back, your heart instantly dropped right into your stomach. a woman was now standing next to him, but something was different in his eyes. the oceans were no longer waves crashing against the seashore. they were climbing under thunderstorms. drowning in its own current.
her hair was dark red in color, flowing to accentuate the curves of her body. she was unbelievably gorgeous and your heart sank even more. but there was something about her that you couldn't figure out.
"here's your bag, i didn't mean to—"
"why your table is absolutely gorgeous, isn't it austin?"
he didn't glance at you or her or anyone. all he did was nod. you noticed the grip she had on his arm. it was tight. suffocating.
you offered the bag to them, but she shooed your hand away, like you were merely just a bug.
"no need sweetie, we were just on our way out. he was just looking anyway."
you tried your best to keep your composure, but you were fuming on the inside. only cassandra could call you that and at least when she did, it was endearing. not spiteful.
she flashed you the biggest smile that fueled your fire even more as she pulled austin away. you noticed him stiffen when they left the table. he couldn't even look at you.
and he couldn't even say goodbye.

The nub end of graphite scrawls against a crinkled back page of paper. Ripped haphazardly from a composition book labeled: Language Arts—E.M.
The yellow pencil was pocked with teeth marks, having been between a pair of teeth that weren’t yours, mind not even gathering the germs that could be harbored in the pressed wood.
Your tongue had been poked out for nearly three minutes according to the watch on Eddie’s wrist. Your brain working overtime trying to find the best phrase that would stump your friend in the game of Hangman.
The alphabet was written in a hurry on the left side of the page, parallel to the hanging post. Beneath that were evenly scratched dashes on the blue printed line, waiting for their companion of letters to be filled by Eddie’s correct guesses.
Putting the pencil down with a satisfying smack, you look up from your masterpiece confidently.
“Okay, I’m ready!”
Eddie chomps a piece of Big Red loud between his teeth, unhooking his tangled feet from underneath himself and stretching out his skinny legs, jeans from the previous school year hacked into shorts for the summer, “took long enough.”
You make a face and flip him a suggestive finger, the nail chipped and painted pink from the last time your neighbor Michelle let you play with her nail polish, and in return you listened to her gab about her boyfriend while she combed her hair like Marcia Brady.
“Don’t be a poor loser because you’ve lost the last four games, Clove.”
He laughs when your eyebrows turn into a pout, the heel of your worn sneaker kicking into his. The same black pair of converse, yours a few sizes smaller, faded and tattered, fitting your feet in a way that was uncomfortable for the arch of your foot, years of wear accustomed to another’s foot print that belonged to the boy across from you.
Letters are guessed and lines filled in. Eddie insists that you make the hangman have a face complete with nose, mouth and eyes realizing that he is close to eating his words from earlier.
“Would you like the hangman to be wearing socks and a hat?” You ask honestly, hiding a smirk behind the paper.
Eddie scoffs, working a bite mark into his bottom lip as he racks his brain for what kind of dumb phrase you conjured up, “I quit on terms that you’re a cheater.”
The insult was harsh, not worse than the words that you heard around your kitchen table or ones that ricocheted off the thin walls when you were on the cusp of dreaming. No, this word hurt. Stung into your skin like a wasp, repeating its terror until you were swollen and skin ached of heat.
Tears sprung to your eyes, clinging to your lashes ready to drop. The paper clenched in your fist as you shoved it under Eddie’s nose, proving your innocence.
“I am not!”
“Sure you are,” he takes the paper from you, folding it roughly into an uneven shape and shoving it between the couch cushions behind him, “Cheatin’ Clove. Has a nice little ring to it doesn’t it?”
Before Eddie can say anymore, a can of Coca Cola is thrown at his head hitting him with a thud, followed by your whimpers and the sound of your feet clapping against the dirty linoleum.
“Clove! ow! Wait!”
The screen door scratched your palms as you twisted it open. Jumping from the stairs and landing hard in the dirt, you didn’t bother bringing your bike home. Choosing to run the short distance instance instead, shutting the front door with a heavy slam.
Tears soaked your pillowcase before you drifted to sleep, curled up on top of the patchwork quilt on your bed.
Tumblr media
Eddie.
His name was trapped in your mouth, dry along your tongue, unable to force its way out.
He was a ghost to you, memories that were buried and dormant were now flooding back at full speed, pinging around your brain firing each nerve tucked away deep, landing you a migraine behind your eyes.
Seven years.
Seven fucking years, since you had seen those doe shaped eyes, brown muddied colors still lost in a child’s innocence and wonderment— barely aged from the last time you had seen him. That memory burned into your retinas, like fuel to a pained flame.
His hair was longer, well past his shoulders now, fringe of his bangs still thick on his forehead. His knuckles were covered in tattoos, the little you can see of his neck is also full of dark wisps of ink.
He says your nickname, the one only he knew. A joke between best friends.
You try to open your mouth, fighting like hell to will anything to come out, but nothing does, the words choke against your throat, caught against each other in a tangled string of sharp edges.
“uh— I—E..”
His eyes grew bigger than they already were, waiting for you to say something, anything. It was as if time stood still, all the pain from years prior coming back.
Images of Eddie, his smile, the bloody gash on his knee from his longboard, small memories, painful ones that could bring someone less strong to their knees: all flash behind your eyes.
The pain from all those years ago was searing through you like a knife. Memories that you kept buried away were suddenly throttling you like they had just happened, the wounds that were licked clean were now fresh and open, blood flowing freely.
Before hot tears can spill down your face, you spin wildly on your heel, walking fast and turning back to the bar. The tray slamming onto the back counter with a loud bang, snapping.
Your breath was erratic, heart racing. Whatever lingering high you had was gone. Emotions you hadn’t felt in years coursing through you demanding to be felt.
Why was he back?
You didn’t know the purpose of his return to Hawkins, only registering how hurt you felt that he was. The day he left still stung your spine, sending shivers all over your body.
Did he ever think of you? In the seven years he had been gone did you bleep on his radar even once?
Hanging your head your fingers tap nervously on the lacquered wood, trying to calm yourself down before you work yourself up anymore than you already were.
“Be right back,” you called over your shoulder to Jolene, head down walking fast to the cooler.
The chilled air made your skin prick with goosebumps but you couldn’t care, the only thing you could feel was your heart shattering to pieces all over again.
The floor was cold under your body, shelves and beer boxes held you up as you fell apart. Deep shuddering breaths in and winded ones out, you don’t wipe the tears as they free fall down the apples of your cheeks—dragging black eyeliner and mascara with them til they trickle from your chin.
The callus of your life made it hard to feel, even harder to cry. But once the gate was open, it was challenging to close. A dam of pent up emotions broke free out of you like an angry flood, full of irreparable damage, forgotten feelings and an exploding heart. Taking with it years of questions, hopes and dreams.
Scenery wasn’t the only thing that was altered in his time away. You evolved, having to peel off layers of naivety and fear. Would he care if he knew?
Wiping another sludge of wet makeup from under your eyes you catch the tattoo on your hand.
It burned on your skin. Prickling like it hadn’t been ten years since you’d gotten it.  Years that seemed like a different lifetime ago.
It practically was.
The boy who did them was long gone, and the man in his place was someone you didn’t even know.
It was you.
The only person in all of Hawkins who made it bearable. What should have been a joyful reunion was clouded over with painful memories. Of course there were good ones, but mostly the bad out weighed anything happy.
You had always been the little bit of sunshine that broke through on a cloudy day, the only person he trusted with silly secrets, trusted with anything.
He couldn’t believe it. Couldn’t believe that you were here. Not just in Hawkins. But working here.
A surge of rage filled his stomach but was quickly washed out by pain as you stomped away, looking as if you had seen a ghost, a part of your past that you didn’t want to remember.
Was that what he was to you? A painful memory, one that was more sour than everything else that happened?
Jeff’s voice is muffled in his ears, as if he’s trying to speak underwater. He can’t wrap his head around this whole thing. The guilt eating him alive.
Eddie clears his throat and takes a generous sip of beer, trying to stop his hands from shaking, chilled sweat creeping down his back. He fiddles with a napkin, ripping the end into small shreds and rolling them up like a kid would for a spit wad.
He could map out every scar on your arms and legs, tell anyone the exact color of your eyes, in sunlight and in a dark room. He knew your favorite song, that you were afraid of the dark and that your front teeth didn’t come in for almost three months after he had helped you pull them out.
You had taught him how to hang upside down on the monkey bars behind the trailer park. He taught you how to play his guitar, and if he thought hard enough he could remember the smell of your shampoo.
You were everything to him.
Bestfriends since the cradle, made up handshakes and secrets sworn to the grave. But years, tear spilled miles and the guilt of broken promises wedged a distance between you.
One that couldn’t be made better by the letters he sent that went unanswered. And it definitely wouldn’t get fixed in one random night when fate lead him to this fucking dump, back under your nose.
It hurt not seeing the sparkle in your eyes, but he could only blame himself.
“Sorry, what was that?”
Jeff motions for Eddie to lean in, doing so he jerks his head to the bar where you are standing stone-still hovering over a counter with your back turned to them. “She looked familiar, right? Did she go to school with us?”
“Yeah,” he admitted, trying to shove down his emotions with another gulp of beer, “she did.”
Jeff leans back, “Chloe? Cassie, Chasity… no. Claire? Shit what was her name?”
Eddie’s eyes fell to the smudgy tattoo, he rubs his thumb over the ink, “Clove.”
“That’s right!” clapping his hands together, “knew it was something weird.”
Eddie let himself smile. Small and weak, his lip ticking up on one side. He rubbed the tattoo again, remembering that day like it was yesterday.
Tumblr media
The summer breeze blows hotly through the makeshift curtains, sending the loose paper on the dresser scattering like desert tumbleweeds across Eddie’s bedroom floor, joining the litter of car magazines and unwashed clothes taking up space in the tiny room.
“gotta sit still Slick, or this won’t work.”
You were biting through your lip, trying to muffle a cry from breaking out, “ow..it hurts!”
It was your idea to get matching tattoos with your best friend, and it was Eddie who said he could do them no problem. He had already tattooed a heart on Dave with his girlfriend's name through the center last month—never mind that she dumped him a week later. The sobs coming from trailer 11 didn’t ever seem to end.
“Well yeah,” Eddie chuckles, clearing his throat and puffing behind a cigarette, “what did you expect it would be done with? A marker?”
Your right hand rested on his bent knee for precision. The other was clamped tight over your eyes in hopes that if you didn’t see how it was done, it wouldn’t hurt so bad.
The warmth of your sweaty nervous palm on his jeans felt hot, as if you were being burnt alive. But, despite the pain from the needle going in and out of your skin, Eddie was gentle.
His shoulder provided comfort as you leaned your head onto it, slowly wetting his shirt with your tears. You curl your body into his side, knees stabbing into his ribs, head pressed tight to the side of his neck, hand fisting the sleeve of his shirt for support as you intake a sharp breath when he finishes the curve of the dainty heart.
“Need a break?” he asks, setting the needle down on the carpet, rubbing a pattern with his thumb on your hand. “I made some Kool-Aid yesterday, your favorite kind.”
Lynyrd Skynyrd plays softly in the background and Eddie strums along on your palm to the guitar solo.
Muffled against his cotton shirt, your voice is hoarse from the tears, “orange?”
He chuckles around a cloud of smoke, “hell yeah, picked some up yesterday morning before my shift, got a few packets for your place too, I know how much Lolly likes it.”
“Speaking of,” you uncross your legs to stand, “I gotta go check on her.”
Eddie stands up with you, a whole head taller than you were, you pluck the cigarette from his mouth and slot it into your own, inhaling the tobacco expertly into your lungs as you examine the small tattoo on your skin.
“‘m not done yet, but what do ya think?”
Blood and ink were smeared around it messily, but it looked identical to the one he had on his left hand, yours only missing the clover.
A smile stretches across your lips and you feel the burn of tears from in your eyes, “it’s perfect, Eddie.”
He opens his bedroom door, grabbing the cigarette from your mouth and squishing it into the heaping ashtray on his nightstand. “you really think so?” he whispers.
“Are you kidding? It’s amazing!”
He blows his lips in a raspberry, long legs walking down the dingy carpet hallway to the kitchen, “let those prissy bitches try to pick on you now… nobody wants to fight someone with tattoos.”
The girls at school weren’t nice in elementary school and they somehow got nastier with every year. You went from being “stinky girl” to “trailer skank” overnight.
A far cry from any sort of originality, but that’s how Hawkins was, ruled by the dim and dumb, daddy’s bank account used as a hierarchy status.
You always brushed them off, keeping mostly to yourself and to your best friend. Eddie took it upon himself to conjure up a frenzied retort that would have them scoffing in disgust.
With Eddie, nothing else mattered, he didn’t care if your clothes didn’t fit right, or if your ponytail looked scraggly. He didn’t give a shit what people thought of him. You were just two neglected trailer park kids, but to him, you were important.
“You're an artist Eddie, could probably make a lot of money doing this someday.”
The idea fell silent between you, both knowing in your hearts what path your life would lead you down. Stuck in the nightmare of what went on behind the thin walls in the trailer park.
Peering over the counter you can see Lolly. Sleeping just as soundly as she had when you laid her down. The stolen playpen from the yard sale on Cornwalis turned out to be worth the uncomfortable bike ride back to Forest Hills with Eddie standing on his pedals and you on the handlebars holding onto dear life as he raced back home.
Her chubby cheeks were pressed against the yellow floral sheet, little curls twisted into two tiny pigtails, milk dribbling slow from her puckered lips.
You smile at the sight of such innocence, wishing that you too were unaware of what life was actually like, and knowing that you would do anything to keep your little sister safe from this reality for as long as possible.
“Can’t believe she cried that long, usually she loves pb&j’s..” Eddie points to your head, trying not to laugh, “you still have peanut butter in your hair by the way.”
Lolly had thrown every last bit of her sandwich in a temper tantrum fueled by a lack of sleep. Her aim being perfect with you as her target.
Twenty minutes with your head under the bathroom sink and Eddie cackling as he squeezed shampoo on your head apparently wasn’t enough to get the sticky treat out.
“Little shit,” you huff, a smirk on your lips, turning to the fridge, and reaching for the sugary orange drink from the shelf, shutting the door with your hip, “think she might be cuttin’ some teeth at least that’s what Patty said last time she babysat.”
Eddie reached for the plastic cups that were nabbed from Benny’s after one of his busboy shifts, holding them steady as you poured the juice.
Only spilling a little, you lifted the end of your shirt to mop the counter up. “Kids are weird,” Eddie says, smacking his lips with an orange mustache after a long swig, “remind me never to have ‘em.”
Snorting through your nose you swallow harshly, a quirk to your eyebrow, “having kids is totally normal, all of our neighbors do.”
He thought quietly before speaking again, “yeah, and nobody is ever around..” he shakes his head. “We’re gonna leave here someday, you and me.”
You roll your eyes, “sure thing, Slim.”
Eddie talked crazy like this sometimes. Always dreaming bigger than you could even fathom. Head permanently stuck in the clouds, wishing, hoping for something better than the cards you were both dealt. But you on the other hand, your feet, in hand-me-down shoes, never left the ground.
His voice was stern when he spoke to you, eyes pleading, and you had never heard him like that before.
“I’m serious, I’ll die before I stay here,” he moves forward, holding your biceps as he looks down at you, dark eyes wide, almost wild, “I promise you, we won’t end up like this...okay?”
Tumblr media
He couldn’t blame you for the way you reacted when your eyes met his. Seeing you tonight hurt more than he could have ever imagined it too. To be honest, he didn’t expect you to still be in Hawkins, but then again— where would you have gone?
“…you still there dude?”
Eddie’s eyes shift to Jeff, plastering a smirk to his lips to hide the pain etched so evidently on his face, “yeah, I just uh— tired I guess.”
He scanned the bar for you, still seeing your frame behind the counter, this time turned around handing a round of beers to a couple of college punks.
“How far is the drive?”
Bless Jeff for trying to keep this conversation alive, but Eddie’s mind was anywhere but here at this table.
Questions he never thought to ask, suddenly poured into his mind. Did you finish high school? Where were you living? How’s Lolly? How old is she now? How have you been?
He felt sick that he didn’t know the answer to any of them. Guilt devouring away at him like a flesh eating amoeba.
“Six—no, probably seven hundred miles.. give or take.”
Had you applied to college? Were you still living in the trailer park?
“Damn,” Jeff said, scrubbing his hands down his face, “gonna have to visit you sometime, show me around all the cool places… you ever been out to LA? My girlfriend, well ex now, we went a year ago around Christmas time she really loved...”
Although Eddie didn’t know the answers, he figured maybe Jeff would.
He shakes his head, interrupting his friend, hand raised in apology, “hey, uh wh— whatever happened to her?” He hooks a thumb in your direction in the most nonchalant way he could, even though his entire body was fidgeting in anticipation.
Jeff raises an eyebrow, “Clove? Oh umm, shit… well I think, no.. yeah no, she didn’t graduate. I remember hearing that she had dropped out, and now she works here apparently.”
A smirk forms on his lips and he points behind him to the back corner, “forgot to tell you, rumor has it this place is more than just a strip joint,” his dark eyebrows wiggle, “if y'know what I mean.”
For the first time tonight, Eddie noticed girls coming and going from the beaded doorway, vacant expressions on their smudged faces. Trailing behind were drunk men with glazed eyes and sweaty foreheads, readjusting the threads of their belts and slacks.
He scans the bar with wild eyes in search of you. Hoping and praying to whoever would listen that you weren’t a part of this. You couldn’t be.
Who is he kidding?
If you were still in Hawkins, still under the weight and scrutiny of the inner dealings that started in the trailer park, you were very much involved.
Realization hit him like a freight train. His stomach clenched and warped with the dreaded grief and guilt he still carried. Deep down he had figured this was what your life had come to. Lying to himself in thinking that you had gotten away from all of this. But seeing it firsthand, in the flesh—he couldn’t bear the thought of it.
Choking back vomit, he slides from the booth hastily, practically spilling his beer all over the table in his desperate attempt to find you.
“shit!” Jeff shouted, “dude, you alright?”
He wasn’t.
He stumbles from the table, tripping over his own boots and knocking into one of the burly bearded men at the bar, sending his drink tumbling to the ground. Glass and liquor covering the floor like the sparkle of a fresh snow.
“What’s your problem asshole!?”
His fiery red hair matched his temper, and the weathered roughness of his cheeks, “ever been inside a bar, tough guy?”
Before Eddie can whip up a witty retort, Mr. Big Red comes back for more, grabbing him by the arm and shoving him into the high counter of the bar, “hey honey, better stop serving this prick, he can’t handle his liquor like a real man.”
The swinging doors open and there you are again, struggling beneath the keg you’re carrying. He wanted to jump up and grab it from you, but Eddie was still pinned to the bar by the guy's hand on his bicep, tightening more and more.
Your eyes reach his and it’s like you don’t even see him.
“Agh, c’mon Mick,” you say, a warm smile on your lips, “I like ‘em nice and drunk, that’s when they tip the best.”
You set the keg down with a metallic thud on the floor, grabbing a bottle of Jameson and two shot glasses. The mahogany liquid pours smoothly, much like the dark eyes watching you, and heat crawls up your neck.
Sliding one towards Mick, you hold the other up by your black painted fingers, Clinking them together with a ‘cheers’ and bringing the glass to your lips, allowing your eyes to finally glance towards Eddie.
He was taller now. His shoulders, more broad, filling in the teenage lithe muscles that fit his frame then. His baby face disappeared entirely, now his chin was stretched with a sharp jaw, which was currently clenched like he was holding back anger, his throat bobbing in a dance of tattooed skin.
You swallow the liquor in one gulp, relishing the burn as it slips down your throat, the same fire that’s staring from across the counter. Eddie hadn’t taken his eyes from yours.
A twitch forms in your eyelid and you blink it away, setting the glass down hard on the wooden countertop.
You lean your body across the bar, collecting the glassware that’s accumulated since you had been hiding in the cooler. Placing them gently into the warm sudsy sink to wash before filling the small dishwasher below.
Mickey was already turned back around, talking loudly to Wendy and trying to get her to sit on his lap for five bucks. His grip on Eddie’s arm turns limp when you slide him another shot, just for good measure.
The bar is chaotic, loud and boisterous, but the air between you and Eddie is quiet, stagnant, no warmth from you. Icicles could form from your frigid silence.
He knocks his knuckles against the bar, big gaudy rings clacking along, keeping in rhythm to the music playing overhead, but you don’t give in. Don’t humor him by asking how or why he knew Rock Me Amadeus.
“Hey V,” you call out to your work partner, “get this stranger a drink before he gets a parking ticket.”
Swiveling away from him, you squat down to maneuver the keg to where it needed to go, rocking it on its rounded edge and swiveling it into place.
Veronica’s voice is cheery and dripping with sex appeal as she asks Eddie what he wants to drink, and you can’t misplace the deepness of his voice, and the polite way he tells her that he’s fine for the evening.
Cracking the top of the keg, you hook it up to the correct tap, shoving with all your might to get it in under the cabinet and slotted in properly.
Spending more time than necessary below the bar, you avoid the warm chocolate eyes waiting for you up above.
What were you supposed to say to him? Thank God you’re home? What the hell did he even want?
An ant is huddled around a spilled drop of grenadine, you watch as it collects the sticky treat—what you wouldn’t give to switch places with the insect for a few hours.
If one thing was certain you would need a little encouragement to make it through tonight and the haunting memories that shuddered through you every time you looked at Eddie.
Your purse was in the cubby over to the right, nimble fingers find the familiar plastic of the bottle, screwing off the top and clicking three pills into your hand.
A greedy palm finds your lips, your eager tongue accepting the drugged gift. Swallowing without any liquid, your spit was more than enough to coat the tablets, watering upon knowing the relief you’ll be met with.
More shouts and hollers boom through your ears, this time in celebration.
“Where’d you go sweet cheeks? Need a round, Bobby just found out his girl isn’t pregnant!”
Duty called, and you knew those dark eyes were still waiting for you, hide and seek was done for now, and in a few short minutes, you’d feel like you were flying.
Boots planted firm on the sticky tiles, you push yourself up, fully expecting a litter of questions. But when you face him, he’s quiet. Silently watching your every move.
Not in a way you’re watched by every other slimeball in this town, his eyes never once flicking over your curves or the deep v of your shirt.
Eddie was admiring the woman you’d become. The shy girl he once knew was replaced by a force to be reckoned with. Did you become that way because he left? No longer having him around to stick up for you?
He pushed out those thoughts, thoughts of you alone.
The way you fleetingly moved from drunk to drunk, collecting tips and pouring drinks, you were a natural. no longer the girl that was afraid of spiders and slept with a nightlight. What should have been a comfort in his heart stretched into an angry bruise against his soul.
Warmth riddled your face into a smirk as you dug jabs back at the guys, making them pay up front before they tried to slink away to the back rooms.
Eddie couldn’t miss how the smile never reached your eyes, that glassy lost look couldn’t fool him, another ping of guilt cutting through him like a knife.
You were elbow deep in the warm water now, fingers pruned and slicked with soap when he finally speaks. The counter had cleared up enough that he wasn’t squashed between some greasy assholes, the regulars fighting to get to the best seats closest to the stage.  Tiffany on her second set of the night, her shiny heels spinning in the air to Girls, Girls, Girls.
“So I’m a stranger now?”
Your fingers slip on the smooth surface of a glass and it hits the bottom of the sink with a thud at the sound of his voice, thankfully not breaking. Looking up, the smile fades as you stare back at him, fully allowing yourself to take him all in.  “what else would you be?”
“Gee, I don’t know, Slick,” his hands twirl the rings on his left hand, “a friend.”
Your laugh is filled without humor, sheer mockery as you shake your hands above the sink ridding them of suds and water.
“Friend…” the scoff is thick in your throat, swallowing a ball of vomit before you continue, “that’s rich isn’t it?”
“Clove..”
“…y’know…I had one of those once,” you say, eyes dead behind your irises, moving to the spouts of the draft beer, “at least I thought he was.”
“Can we talk?” he pleads.
“..think I’ve heard more than enough…” slapping down two heavy beers in front of him, you glare into muddy brown eyes, trying not to let yourself feel the pain in your chest, “these two are on the house.”
Without a second glance or even a fuck you, you stomp towards the dressing room, leaving him sitting alone to sit alone at the bar, and for a split second you allow yourself to feel good it. His turn to be left in the dust this time.

Can you do a police officer harry blurb?? Or do you have any recommendations from someone else?
twenty miles over
warnings: smut; f-receiving (spanking, hair-pulling, degradation, name-calling), slight size kink, exhibitism, protected-sex, dirty talk, and language.
note: i wrote this really quickly because i’m excited to start writing again!! i need to write more for peter and i will i promise. here’s policerry!!
“since you like going fast, better make this fuckin’ quick.”
your skirt was flipped up over your waist, flashing the man behind you. he had your bum sticking out of the back seat, so the wind chillingly breezed over your slowly heating skin. there was nothing that could have prepared you for the position you are currently in. literally.
“i’m-i’m sorry!” you whined as he struck your ass again with his rough, open palm. “i’m-i’m good, i promise!”
“are you? ‘cause good girls don’t go over the speed limit,” he snarled, spanking you particular hard. you had been maybe ten miles (more like twenty) over the posted limit, but you felt as if it was excusable. after finding your shitbag of a boyfriend cheating on you, you thought maybe speeding out of there was a good excuse. you had been meaning to break up with him for a while, and clearly, he was, too. you weren’t as hurt by it as you were angry, but you also didn’t have much time to think about it with this authoritative man’s hands on you. you jolted forward, bum aching and burning from his wrath. however, you can’t help but arch into his touch every time he reels away. “gettin’ off on your punishment. only sluts like to be spanked on the highway.”
he massages your rear’s skin before swatting you a few more times. the sting is as painful as it is pleasurable. you’re soaking in your underwear, so much that it’s probably dripping down your leg and onto his backseat. to the cars driving by, it just looked like an officer was standing by an open door. innocent and simple. no, this was anything but.
harry’s hand suddenly tucks in between your legs, swiping that leaking wetness with his finger. you gasp when he brushes past your cunt, throbbing in desperation. you always thought a man in his uniform was good-looking, but harry was different. he was rough and mean and stern, but had a particular sharpness and authority to him that made you practically drop down on your knees for him.
you actually haven’t got to do that yet…
“such a fuckin’ slut. you’re soaking. i should write you a ticket just for how much you’re fuckin’ leaking. makin’ a mess of m’seats.”
you merely moaned from his words, feeling your cunt clench around nothing beside the wetness he’s berating you about. he grips your hips, yanking you forward to his front. you gasp as you feel his prominent bulge poking your stinging ass. he may have had his thick trousers on and a hefty belt of tools, but you could feel how big he was. you’re drooling just thinking about having him in your mouth.
“please, sir. i’ll be so good for you,” you pleaded, arching right into him. when you first begged him that you would do anything to get out of the ticket, it came off as innocent. but now, with his raging erection teasing you through his pants, you’re glad innocence is off the table. you’re only up for sin.
the clinking of his belt speeds up your heart rate, just like the way you were racing through lanes trying to get home. you were far from wanting to go home now. you hoped harry kept you here as long as he pleased, having his way with you until the sun set.
“can’t believe that boyfriend of yours is missing out on this. what would he say if he saw you right now?” when you peek behind you, harry doesn’t even have his pants pulled down fully. but his cock is in his hand as he strokes himself a few times, the rutty tip trickling wetness. his eyebrows were furrowed tightly, eyes stricting on your ass and back on all fours. he loves this position, especially for one-timers because he didn’t have to see their face. and the view from the back was always enough to get him off. “i don’t hear you.”
“h-he would probably freak out ‘cause you’re so much hotter than he is,” that earns you a rough chuckle from behind you along with tearing foil. harry latches onto your hips when the condom is on and rubs against your leaking slit.
“i am hotter, aren’t i? and much bigger, i bet. his wimpy dick could not take you like this,” harry shoves his cock right into you, without warning but with ease. you don’t think you’ve ever been this wet, so it’s never slid in so effortless before. harry doesn’t let you breathe before thrusting in and out of you again, relentless energy radiating from him. “tell me. tell me how much better i am.”
“y-you’re so good. so, so much better than him.” moans were spilling from your mouth like a broken record, over and over until you were drowning out your own voice. harry probably thought you were insanely loud, whiney, and annoying, but you couldn’t care less. he was getting his dick wet and you were getting out of a ticket. that’s simply all this was.
but it didn’t feel all that simple.
the way his cock stretched you open was complicated. your walls were exceeding their limits and it made you cry out, but only in pleasure. his rough hand creeps up into your hair and yanks it, pulling your neck to arch your back. his thrusts never halted, even when that hand fell down to your neck and choked you a bit. your body disregarded the chilly air because it was on fire with an arousal you’ve never experienced before.
“so fuckin’ tight. did he ever even fuck you? no wonder you were so quick to get out of there,” harry nearly pulls fully out just to slam back into you again. you thought you were a moaning and whimpering mess before, but now, you were screaming chants of his title. you may not have known his name, but officer and sir were the perfect fit for him anyway. “this pussy…is the sluttiest i’ve ever fucked.”
maybe in modern times his words elevated sexism and disrespected womankind. maybe his words and actions were prime contradictions to his badge on his left pec. but your mind and body craved it. you felt your cunt clench snuggly around his twitching cock before your brain could even process what it meant.
harry roughly pounds into you without worrying who might see or the possible consequences after, which makes you feel impulsive. you’ve never felt impulsive before, but you weren’t worrying about the future and that made you appreciate this once-in-a-lifetime moment.
“please don’t stop,” a wavering beg elicited out of you as your high approached you. his calloused hand trailed down your back and wrapped around your waist until it found your throbbing clit. he made your head dizzier than it already was, never missing a beat.
“fuckin’ come. come right now and prove to me that i shouldn’t give you a fuckin’ ticket. drench my cock the way you couldn’t with him.”
you don’t know if it was because he was authority, but you had no problem obeying officer styles in your car or his.
kisses xx

Only mine Part 2 Dark Professor Steve Rogers x Innocent reader
Tumblr media
Only Mine Dark Professor Steve Rogers x Innocent Reader
Steve looked everywhere at this party, but found you no where, He decided to give up his search coming home disappointed and empty handed, The next day was spring break everyone leaving for home, or going on some sort of vacation, Steve was walking toward the coffee shop you frequented when he seen your room mate leaving the dorm, listening to the conversation.
“You sure y/n? I feel bad leaving you when you are battling a terrible cold.” She says holding the phone to her ear as she opens her car door throwing some of her stuff in the back of the car,
“Fine but if you get any worse see a doctor I would hate for you to die on me while I’m on vacation.” She chuckles getting in the car and starting it,
Steve grew concerned He looks at the dorm, He knew which dorm room was yours following you home a few nights ago, He knew this was his chance, tonight was when everyone was gone, and you were alone, He decided he would come back then, He already had the key to your dorm, All he had to do was take it from the office, He smirked knowing tonight was when he was going to get his girl.
You sat on the couch covered in a blanket, a tissue box on the nearby end table, you were too tired to even make yourself any sort of food, You were pretty sure you had the flu, You barley had any energy to even go to the bathroom, Your cough hurt extremely bad, You thought you were dying too tired to even move off the couch, the show you were watching you were barely paying attention,
You take some of the medicine to help you can feel yourself getting tired as your heavy eyelids slowly flutter shut,
The sound of your door shutting echoed in your ears but you could not bring yourself to open your eyes you just assumed that it was just Jessica coming back for something, but soon you felt someone stroke your cheek.
Steve slowly made his way through your dorm room finding you fast asleep on the couch, he rampaged through your dresser grabbing some of your clothes putting them in a bag, He walked over to you stroking your cheek with his knuckles,
“Don’t worry doll, I’ll take care of you..” He whispered
Scooping you up in his arms. carrying you out of your dorm,
Your heavy eyelids slowly flutter open, and You notice you are no longer on the couch in your dorm, You slowly sit up and notice the room was massive, the bed was huge, the room looked modern with gray walls, the sheets and bedding were white, the bed frame was a thick wood with bed posts,
The door opens revealing Professor Rogers with a tray of soup and a glass of orange juice. you were extremely confused.
“Professor?” Your voice comes out raspy
“Please doll, call me Steve since we’re going to be spending some time together.” He says
He sets the tray on the top of a dresser, that looks like it was carved from a tree,
He sat on the edge of the bed, feeling your forehead, his hand cold to the touch,
“Still have a fever, I guess that’s what happens when you have no one to take care of you,” He says with a smile tucking some of your hair behind your ear.
You were confused,
“How did I get here?” You asked trying to get out of bed but he pushed you down
“I brought you here and you need to stay in bed.” He says
“Professor I need to get back home.” You say trying to get out of bed again But he quickly pushes you down again. But this time anger fills his eyes and he has you pinned down by your throat,
“You are going to listen to me doll or there are going to be consequences.” He says
You look up at him in horror, he is your professor, he was said to be a good guy retired hero, why was he doing this to you what had you done to be treated this way you didn’t understand it,
“Do you understand?’ He asked glaring down at you
You swallow the lump in your throat and nod slowly,
He smiled liking your answer
“That’s my good girl.” He says
You knew you couldn’t over power him, He was far stronger and bigger than you,
You were a petite thing, your dad and brothers always teased you for it, but you never really cared about it until now, he grabs the bowl of soup feeding you the soup, you ate most of it until you told him you were full, He handed you the Orange juice, you drank half a glass, until you started feeling drowsy your vision blurry,
“Get some rest doll, once you are better we will go over a few rules.” He says smiling down at you, you could barley lift your limbs, Steve lifted your legs putting them under the blankets, Kissing your forehead your heavy eyelids slowly fluttering shut,
Steve watched as you tried fighting sleep, but eventually gave in, He smiled at the thought of having you all to himself, all he had to do was rough you up a bit and you submitted to him, He knew you would be perfect for him,
He also knew you didn’t need to go to school anymore, He was going to take care of you, but being a few months shy of graduating he figured he would humor your family, knowing how a military family worked, he was going to have to humor them and let you at least graduate, that way he wouldn’t run into any problems, but after that, you were going to be his perfect wife weather you wanted that or not, and sure he was a bit older than you, but he didn’t care, you were perfect, it was hard to find a girl like you in this day and age and he sure as hell wasn’t about to let you go.

an! ive been busy with school & this acc is probably dead but i still want to contiune posting fics & drabbles because my mind is too creative & i have a whole bunch of drafts that are semi-complete that are ready to be posted! hope ygs enjoy the ex-husband!gojo series
Tumblr media
ex-husband!gojo satoru who arrives at your doorstep with a bouquet of roses and you great him with a polite nod as you lead him into your apartment when kara starts to beam with happiness.
"daddy!" kara screams before jumping up into satoru's arm, crinkling the plastic wrapped around the assorted colored roses. "it isn't wednesday...why are you here?" you ask cautiously, walking and standing at the kitchen island watching the two embrace each other.
"was in the city for some meetings with the higher ups, thought i could come by and hangout with my girls." he says innocently, putting kara down and then the flowers on the kitchen island. you sigh, bending down under the sink to reach for the ceramic vase you and satoru had created together during one of your dates, many years ago.
"we should make another vase, with kara of course." satoru inclines once he sees you start to fill up the vase with water. "that's a good idea, you can take kara when you have her." you say, opening the bouquet of flowers and cutting the ends off before arranging the flowers into a beautiful arrangement.
"but it'll be fun as a family, y'know. want kara to have that family bonding experience we both never had."
he was right. growing up was never easy with distant parents who never wanted you. finding out you were pregnant with kara had every right to make you scared and have thoughts of giving her up. generational trauma was something you were scared of passing down to your daughter. satoru was right in everywhere to include everyone as a family even if you were divorced.
ex-husband!gojo who persuades you into going out as a family and you find yourself sitting across from your ex-husband with little kara sitting next to him in the cozy bistro.
the bistro had it's usual soft, romantic lighting that seemed to mock the awkwardness in the air. you wanted to be happy. happy because your daughter was happy but, it always felt wrong to look like a happily married couple out in public because you weren't married.
“what’re you gonna get suteki?” you ask, watching her pull and play at satoru’s white locks. “i dunno mommy. wan’ share strewberdy milfshake with daddy.” she says, presenting a smile at you as satoru makes kara sit down correctly.
(suteki is kara’s nickname; originally it had been yours given by satoru after seeing how beautiful you were physically and emotionally. a beautiful heart that was passed down to another beautiful heart.)
"we can all share a strawberry milkshake, how about we add some vanilla cake too?" satoru chimes in and kara immediately agrees. daughter like daddy. a major sweet tooth.
the waiter came by and asked if the three had been ready with their order, they placed their order.
time passed and the vanilla cake along with a large strawberry milkshake with extra strawberries on the side presented with three straws in the drink was placed onto the table.
conversations flowed effortlessly as kara blabbed on about her experience in kindergarten and how she's really not the happiest camper about learning english when she moves a grade above. satoru wore his blindfold like usual but, there was never a time where you never could not feel his eyes on you. feeling you get shy when you start to smile and laugh a little too hard when you see kara get annoyed at satoru's antics.
with kara knocked out due to a sugar crash, draped over satoru's shoulder as the three of you walk back to the station. satoru intertwined his fingers with yours and even though it took a little while for you to reciprocate the same action, you held his hand the entire walk back to the station.
"maybe we should try being a couple again...it wouldn't hurt right?" he says, squeezing your hand a few times before you looked up at him. "satoru..." you whisper and he sighs, his lips turned a slight upside down, "why not y/N...look at us right now. it seems so natural."
"i don't want to hurt you...again."

h. granger x f!reader
Tumblr media
summary: reader and mione have been secretly dating for a while. the way she decided to come clean was a lot less graceful than you had hoped.
words: idk
warnings: another old smut that isn't very good lol. only posting for how funny i think this is hehe. MINORS DNI!!
"Okay, pay very close attention when they come back," said Ron, pointing to you and Hermione as you left the dining hall. Harry rolled his eyes.
"Oh, come on, Ron. Why are you so invested in this? You should just let them be. So what if they are together?" Harry whined, biting down on a chicken leg.
"Hey, cut me some slack, will you? I'm their friend, I've just got to know!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah, so you can go wank off to it later," Harry joked. Ronald slapped his shoulder and Harry laughed hysterically, rubbing his arm.
Just a few moments before...
You and Harry were going on about broomsticks, as you were both members of the Quidditch team when you felt a small hand glide over your thigh and squeeze. You cleared your throat, trying hard not to be distracted by Hermione. You removed her hand slowly and placed it in her own lap. Hermione laughed at a joke you didn't know Harry had made and quickly put her hand on your crotch, squeezing harder than before. Your knee kicked under the table like it was a reflex. You swallowed the knot in your throat.
"Are you alright, Y/N?" Rom asked, furrowing his eyebrows at you. You turned towards him, eyebrows raised.
"Hm? Yes, fantastic, Ronald," You responded almost too quickly to hear. Her hand began to massage circles under your skirt. You sighed, biting your lip. She knew what she was doing to you. She wanted you to try really hard not to show any sign of arousal in front of the boys. You removed her hand once more, even though you hated to do so.
"Mione, I have to use the bathroom, come with me?" You said after clearing your throat.
"Why do girls always go to the bathroom together?" Ron asked before Hermione could nod in agreement.
"What's the point?" He continued. You both looked at one another. You shrugged at Ron and dragged Hermione off to the bathroom.
"Oooh, am I in trouble?" Hermione asked in an innocent voice as you entered the empty hallways. You looked back at her.
"I will hurt you," You gritted your teeth at her.
"Oh boy, I hope so," You rolled your eyes and rushed her into the ladies room. Your footsteps echoed in the bathroom. You pushed the heavy door closed as fast as you could, then stormed towards her, pressing her back against the stone wall.
"You enchant me," You muttered into her neck, kissing the area. She huffed and bit her lip, smirking as she looked down at you.
"I know," She quickly flipped you over, so you were now against the wall. She kissed you roughly, pulling your body into hers. She suddenly pulled away and began to remove your robes. You grabbed her wrists, pausing her for a moment.
"Dinner isn't over yet," You breathed out. "Wait till after hours, baby," She ignored your words and threw your identical robes across the floor.
"We won't get caught," She spoke softly, sliding her hands under your skirt and looking into your eyes. She squeezed your ass, a pit of warmth deepening in your stomach. She attacked your mouth with another kiss, making it feel like you were floating on a cloud.
"Have you ever been fucked in the girls bathroom?" She asked, smiling wickedly and tightening her grasp on you. You sighed and gripped your sleeves.
"You know I have," You said, implying the first time the two of you had sex.
"Oh, that's right," She strung out the sentence like it was a fishing line, reeling you in.
"How could I ever forget?" She continued. "Best time of me life," You closed your eyes and curled your lips together. You could tell an idea had sparked in her brilliant mind.
"Do you remember..." Her voice trailed off as she brought her hand up to your shoulder, trailing her fingers along your arm. "When we did it in my dorm room for the first time...what about when we did it in yours?"
A small moan rolled out of your mouth.
"Or the time I made you orgasm seven times in one night in the Gryffindor commons room?" Her hands found their way back your your hips, slamming them into hers as you were still fully clothed and standing. She chuckled deviously.
"If only they knew what we did," She whispered in your ear before unbuttoning your button up one by one, slower than molasses.
"Damnit, Hermione," You huffed after she threw your shirt next to the robes. You did the same to her, trying to concentrate on your hands as she sucked on your neck. You finally got her blouse open, and pulled it off of her back, not disconnecting her lips. She lifted up the front of your skirt, the cold air rushing to your warm, drenched heat. You shivered as she grabbed your ass again, hooking her fingers under the band of your thong.
"Did you wear that for me, baby?" She giggled in your ear. You only responded with a shudder. She swiped her tongue across your ear lobe and blew on it, making goosebumps rise in your skin.
"It's too bad it'll have to go," Your undergarments joined the rest of your clothes behind Hermione. She rushed you into the nearest stall and slammed the door behind you both. She was quick to get you sitting on the toilet seat, you skirt the only thing left on your body other than your bra. She kneeled down in front of you. You were hesitant to follow her nonverbal orders, so she slowly glided her hands under your skirt and pulled your legs apart with one swift motion. She propped both of your legs on her shoulders and gripped your hips, you skirt falling over your stomach. Your hands pressed up against the stall walls as you gritted your teeth, for Hermione had flicked her tongue over your heat quickly.
"Shit, Mione," You whimpered. She made eye contact with you, smirking.
"I've been waiting to taste you all day," She growled in between kisses on your inner thighs. Without breaking eye contact, she buried her face in between your legs. You let out a high pitched howl of pleasure. She began to suck on your clitoris, her tongue dancing skillfully around the area. You bucked your hips, trying to disconnect yourself Hermione's mouth for a break, but the grip she had on your hips was too strong. She only pulled you back.
"Fuck, M-Mione- sh-shit!" You stammered out, squirming heavily.
"Please, Hermione-" You begged for her to give you the touch you needed. Without another word from you, two of her fingers pulsed inside of you, curling. Out of your whole six years at Hogwarts, Hermione Granger was the only person you'd been with that could make you beg. You thought back to when you first started dating just before summer began. Over the summer she'd write to you about how much she wanted to see you to show you how much she loved you. You didn't know what that meant until she pulled you into the same bathroom you were in now.
"Mione, I-I'm c-clooose," You whined, still squirming. She nodded and took her fingers away. She stood up and lifted up her own skirt. She'd been going camando this entire time.
Boy, if I would've know that- Your thoughts were cut off by her gently rocking her hips back and forth over your folds, one of your legs in the air.
"Oh, Merlin-" Your jaw clenched as her speed quickened. She grasped your leg, using it as support, and to open you up more. She began going side to side, biting her lip.
"Shit," She groaned quietly. The next few moments were a blur of curse words and screaming one another's name.
***
After composing yourselves, you both stepped out of the stall and started to dress. Your legs quivered as you tried to bend over and pick up your blouse. You could feel Hermione's res on you, admiring her dirty work.
"Remind me to never let you do that to me again," You joked as you began to button your shirt. After you were finished, she handed you your robes with a dark look in her eyes. You raised an eyebrow as you slipped the thick fabric over your back. Then, it dawned on you. You looked around the floor frantically.
"Mione, have you see my-" You looked up at her, seeing the black, thin piece of lacy fabric dangling from her hand.
"Your lingerie that you so stupidly trusted me with? Yes," She teased. You glared at her.
"Mione, I swear," She started towards the door. She turned around and smiled sarcastically at you, waving it around. She was about to reach the door and she hadn't bothered to hide your undergarments yet.
"Hermione Granger! Give those t-" You cut yourself off. She swung the door open and clumped them in her hand. You sped up to her side.
"Mione! What the bloody hell are you doing?" You whispered in her ear. She turned around to face you, a smirk plastered to her face.
"I don't know about you, Miss L/N, but I'm having fun," She said at a normal volume as you entered the dining hall. You followed her to where you were sitting previously, embarrassed out of your mind. You crashed your legs under the table and didn't say anything to the boys after they greeted you. Hermione, however, couldn't have seemed more cheerful.
"Hello, boys," She chimed. You looked up at Harry, who already had his concerned eyes on you. He could see your feeling of degrading. He chuckled.
"Mione, what have you done to Y/N?" He joked. Ron looked over at you and smiled.
"Has she gotten your panties in a bunch?" He teased you.
"Quite literally," You mumbled, blushing at Ron's smiling face. A pause fell upon he sound coming from the four of you. You looked down st your lap, still blushing as Ron didn't disconnect his gaze.
"You're quite beautiful when you smile, Y/N," You head jutted up to him, out smile falling completely. Hermione cleared her throat.
"I have Y/N's underwear in my pocket!" She said a little bit too loudly to the group. Ron's face perked up as Harry lost his mind, laughing harder than you'd ever seen.
"I knew it! I bloody knew it!" Ron shouted from excitement. You dipped your head in your hands, blushing harder than before.

You actually believe that Israel will nuke Gaza? Like, for real? What drugs did your mom take while pregnant? What moonshine did she give you instead of formula? How many times were you dropped on your head?
A leader of the Isreali government made it a thought and option in people heads. It's a quote. This guy had called for one to wipe people out as a "last option." Such an option would wipe out and hurt more than just Palestinians. Figures you'd stay anon too. You're too afraid to catch a case. My mother, my schools, and people around me have told me genocide is bad for my whole life, but now that it's time to put thought to action you bitches want to pretend and hesitate.
This statement was made in November, and talks of it happening have spread quite far.
This shouldn't even have been made an option or brought up after seeing what it has done in previous wars. If we forget a threat that big, an option that dangerous with how casually it was thrown in, the big wigs in charge will do so without thinking twice about what would happen and who it will affect.
Tumblr media
To anyone reading this:
I repost information I find to help spread awareness about what is going on. Please correct me if I make a mistake or if the information has been updated. I will gladly correct the mistake! But don't be a bitch in anons. the next time I find something like this I'm deleting the shit.
BUT YOU, dear Anon, im going to use you as an example.
The talk about the nuclear option made me angry, and I replied with what would happen if it stayed in consideration. I warned that it was something that we should make sure doesn't stay on the table, doesn't become reality because if it does, it will hurt us all. For that careless use of those specific words in that context, we should all keep a very, VERY close eye on the man that made that statement and the man that could put that statement into play.
Tumblr media
This was my response and reaction to the post from 5 days ago about a headline that was written on such a topic. This is the only personal reblog addition I have done specifically about that, so this must be what you're talking about.
So, to answer your first question, Anonymous. Yes, I do believe that the people in power of isreal and their dangerous mentality would drop one on Gaza if they felt like it. They would do it, they would drop it on innocents and guilty alike with no regard for the health and safety of surrounding lands, peoples and quality of life.
Never trust people who bring it up as if they were flinging paper instead of a manmade sun. And I never will trust a government that keep them for 'just in case'. This includes isreals patreon, the United States of America, and others in close ties with them.
Anyways, stand for Palestinians. fuck anon, screw 'isreal' and chant the IOF's sins in their faces.

Blast From The Past
pairing: Peter Parker x gn!reader warnings/tags: angst (it ends well), probably inaccuracies about time/events summary: the truth comes to light a/n: I'm a Peter Parker girlie at heart, so enjoy this very confusing post-nwh!fic wc: 1.1k
Tumblr media
"What is this?"
Everything had been going flawlessly. For months now, you had been working on it. Planning out every little detail, making sure everything went according to plan.
You had been so close, feeling as if you could almost grasp onto the success of your hard work.
The process had been tedious, always having to hold back to make it all seem natural, going in against all your feelings to make sure you'd succeed.
It had taken you three months alone to track Peter down, and another month to study his routines before you could approach him.
When you realised that he didn't recognise you, you had to come up with a plan. It would've all worked out, if it weren't for that one picture.
That wretched picture you'd shoved deep into a closet, trying to forget about it and act as if it was never taken. That was the past, it didn't matter anymore now; it's not like anyone would remember it. It would only make things complicated, which was the last thing you needed.
The past few months had been the best of your life, even though you knew that none of it was real; not entirely at least. You knew that the truth would've come out at some point either way, but you'd hoped you could've told him about it at a more convenient time.
It was too late for that now. The cat was out of the bag, all cards were on the table. You knew it would hurt telling Peter the truth; was never going to be an easy and lighthearted task.
But the look of utter confusion and disbelief on his face would be etched into your memory forever.
"Y/n, what is this?" Peter asked once again, the desperation for an answer evident in his voice.
"Where did you find that?" You asked, still frozen to the ground as you stood in the doorway of your bedroom.
"I was putting those boxes away like you asked," He said, a hint of agitation seeping through, which you couldn't exactly blame him for. "And then this fell out."
"Look, I... I get that you're probably confused-"
"Oh, I'm confused, alright," Peter snapped as he interrupted, "I mean, who wouldn't be after seeing this? Nothing about this makes any sense."
"I know it doesn't," You say as you cautiously take a step closer to him, "but I can explain."
"Well, I'd love to hear that," Peter responded, "Please, explain to me how this picture is dated at least three years before we met."
The picture that had caused all of this mess showed the two of you at age seventeen, goofing around in the kitchen while you were attempting to bake cookies. Both your faces were covered in flour, as was most of the kitchen island, but it didn't seem to matter to either of you as you looked into each other's eyes with wide smiles plastered across your faces.
All in all, it was an innocent picture portraying a seemingly normal couple. But the truth was, that none of this could have ever happened, or at least, not according to Peter.
And who could possibly blame him? After everything that had happened, after losing the only family he had left, after having to let go of everyone he had ever known and loved; it wasn't his fault.
It wasn't his fault that while Doctor Strange was casting the spell, he had clung onto you for dear life, too afraid to lose you as well.
It wasn't his fault that he had been so determined that he would go and find you after the spell had been casted.
It wasn't his fault that anyone and everyone could see how much he loved you, how far he would go to ensure he'd never lose you.
It wasn't his fault that he would risk breaking the spell if it meant he didn't have to live a life without you in it.
It was never Peter's fault that he didn't remember; because he couldn't.
He couldn't remember anything about you before the spell. He couldn't remember how you had played a part in his life. He couldn't remember how he had begged Strange to leave your memories untouched.
And he certainly couldn't remember how Strange had gone behind his back and had altered the spell to make him forget about you instead, in the hopes of the spell remaining intact.
So who could blame him when he saw picture of a life he couldn't remember? When he saw a picture of a life he didn't think he'd ever lived?
When he saw a picture of a life he would never think he'd deserve?
"I wish I had an answer you could believe without a doubt," You said honestly, "But the truth is that this is what we had way before everything went haywire. Way before your identity got leaked, before the spell that went wrong, before the spell that should've gone right."
"Well, the fact that you seem to remember, or at least know about all of that is some sort of inclination that you're being genuine," Peter responded, "And I suppose it does explain why I felt like you had a familiar something about you."
You couldn't help but lightly smile at that. "Well, that's something, isn't it?"
"Yeah, it's something," He said, "But can I ask you one thing?"
"Of course."
"If you remembered, why didn't you go to Doctor Strange for answers."
"The same reason you didn't go to the MIT student counselor when your application was denied; I wanted to fix it myself."
This time, the both of you let out a light chuckle. "Alright, that is something I have no trouble believing," Peter said as he lightly shook his head. "So, say I did lose my memories, why did you come back? I mean, I wasn't the Peter you knew when we met again."
"I just figured it was still in there somewhere," You answered as you shrugged, "It might've been naive to think, but I guess I was just living for the hope of it all returning one day."
Peter's gaze fell back on the picture he was still holding onto. "We did look very happy there, didn't we?"
"Yeah, we did," You responded, your voice growing just a bit softer as you allowed yourself to think back for a moment. "The kiss we had after the picture was taken wasn't exactly great, though. The flour got everywhere and really got in the way."
"So, what you're saying is... I still owe you a kiss to make up for that bad one?" He said, taking a step closer to you with a hint of a smirk on his lips.
"You don't even know what you'd be making up for." You say, although you already leaned in closer as well.
"I might remember."

MAIN CHARACTER
Tumblr media
word count: 1k words
summary: Watching High and Low the Worst X.
warnings: High and Low movie spoilers, mild language, suggestive content
a/n: Wow, Tumblr changed a lot. I don't know how to post anymore.😅 Anyways, this is a small gift for all the readers who still kept on encouraging me to write and sent me messages during the time I wasn't here. 🥰 An attempt in writing has been made. I'm sorry if this isn't much or it isn't that good, I'm honestly taking baby steps in writing again. I hope you like this short fic. ❤
"Am I just a pawn? I thought we were friends." You stifled a sob at the statement. Ryo had always been there for Amagai yet he calls his friend a pawn. How despicable! It doesn't help that you hated Amagai and his bossy attitude.
As the movie progressed, you felt tears running down your cheeks. This should be an action movie. Why are you even crying?
"I'm home." You heard the door open, followed by your boyfriend's voice. Hastily, you dried your tears. He cannot see you in this state. But you just saw him stop in his tracks, staring at you in worry before you could bundle up your favorite fleece blanket. "What happened?"
Instead of hiding it, you cried louder. The images on the TV screen showed three men fighting, your favorite character looking really beaten up. "Why is Ryo like that?" You whined. "Although they grew up together, Amagai clearly told Ryo that he's just his pawn. Why would he hurt himself for that annoying jerk?" Your boyfriend sighed, dropping his duffel bag on the floor, before sitting beside you on the couch. He stretched his arm out for you, brushing your hair to calm you down. “And why would they hurt Ryo like that? In the face? Really? He’s so handsome to be hit like that.”
The guy beside you chuckled. "I knew getting that Blu-Ray would be bad for you." You watched how Fujio and Ryo fought. Every punch and kick makes your heart ache. When Amagai lunged a knife at Fujio and Ryo was seen on the screen, you gasped. Your hand covered your mouth while watching your favorite character be emotional, trying to hide the fact that you’re as emotional as the person on the screen.
Your boyfriend held your shoulder, pulling you closer as you sobbed uncontrollably. “Are you really that emotional over this movie?” You mumbled a yes which made him chuckle. “You’ve watched it like five times already.”
“Seventh.” You corrected. His laughter echoed through the room. “My favorite character is hurting, what do you expect? Why must Ryo get hurt like that?” You cried.
His hand on your back comforted you, his warm breathing against your ear slowly calming you down. “I’m now starting to question if you like Ryo more than me.”
It was your turn to chuckle lightly. “Probably.”
“Yah!” Your boyfriend revolted, poking your side to tickle you.
You held both his cheeks, staring intently at him. Although they look the same, how can the person on the screen be different from the guy you’re looking at right now? “Were you hurt…” You asked innocently, “...when they punched you?”
Yuta smiled then shook his head, “It was a choreographed fight scene. I didn’t get hurt but just pretended that I did.” He reasoned out then grinned proudly. “Seeing how you empathized with my character, I think I did a great job.”
You nodded. He did.
You were just in awe at how amazing he is the first time you watched the movie. It was the reason why you kept on repeating watching the same movie even though you knew what would happen in the end. Yuta is an amazing actor, no doubt about that. “You should act some more.” He smiled, nodding at you. “But can you refrain from doing action movies? I don’t want to watch your pretty face getting hurt.”
He chuckled, patting the top of your head. “Shall I do romance instead?”
“Then I’ll definitely leave you for Ryo Suzaki.”
—----
It was a tiring day. You let out a heavy sigh when you sat on the couch and then noticed the apartment keys on the table. Is Yuta home? He doesn’t have any schedules today? Maybe he’s sleeping. “Yuta?” You asked, not lifting your body from the couch.
The door to your bedroom opened and out came a man with black hair, a red jacket, and red pants. He grinned at your stunned face, raising an eyebrow when you suddenly stood up from the couch. “Suzaki Ryo!”
“Wow,” Yuta exclaimed. “You’re really that excited seeing Ryo? It’s making me jealous.” He then chuckled at your unwavering stare. The man you’re just watching on TV, in front of you. Why is Yuta wearing that uniform? And did he suddenly change his hair?
“The Senomon uniform looks good on you. It just feels weird seeing you smiling wearing that uniform.” Yuta giggled. “And without bruises or cuts on your face.”
Yuta walked in front of you, cupping your face with his hands. “I know it’s a tiring day and I wanted you to have a memorable date with your favorite character.” A grin can be seen on your face. “You look so happy now that I want to erase the existence of Ryo Suzaki so badly.” You giggled. You love it when Yuta is jealous. It makes you feel loved. Not that he didn’t tell you how much he loves you, but there’s something about this gorgeous man getting jealous that someone else is taking you away from him. Like how a main character in a movie feels. “So what do you want to do, baby?”
“I want to watch a movie.” He gave you a tired, annoyed look. “Let’s watch High and Low.” You quickly opened the television and the player. You can hear Yuta mumbling, while sitting on the couch, about Ryo being in front of you yet you’re opting to watch a movie. “It’s not just Ryo who I liked in the movie,” you teased. “I also want to see Yuken’s body.”
Yuta laughed. “That’s very likely of you.” He leaned closer, slowly undoing the buttons of his uniform that showed his black tank top underneath. “You know, Ryo has a better body than Yuken.”
You covered him with your favorite blanket while giggling at his attempt. “Ryo.” You called that made your boyfriend roll his eyes in obvious annoyance. “Don’t tempt me.” Yuta rolled his head back, laughing at that statement, wrapping you in his arms. “Although I have a huge crush on you, I’m still Yuta’s.”
“Yeah, you are.” He mumbled. “And Yuta will go all Ryo if someone takes you away from him.”
You smiled. You definitely are the main character in this movie.

Tempting Bad - Part II
Tumblr media
Authors Note: Way too long and a little rushed, but I wanted to put everything you asked me into this request. I tried to shorten it a bit but I didn't succeed. So sorry for that! Also parted in two parts because Tumblr did not let me post the whole thing :(
Trigger warning! This one-shot includes the topic of suicide and the plot is presented. If this triggers you too easily or you just can´t handle the subject, I urge you NOT to read this work. I am NOT embellishing this topic under any circumstance. Read at your own risk.
Summary: Life consists of small moments that shape us, stay in our memories and make us who we are. Often we don't even know what influence we have on other people, how we appear to the outside world and how we affect other people's lives. And this influence leaves traces
ᕚ---ᕘ
Your eyes were swollen, your cheeks red and hot from crying when you got to your apartment and slammed the door shut. Leaning against it, you painfully slid down along the wood before pulling your knees close to your torso and burying your head deep in your arms.
With multiple, deep sobs you let out your pent-up sadness that had accumulated deep inside you while you felt a noose tighten around your neck and the ground pull out from under your feet.
You tried to calm yourself, which was not easy. The only thoughts floating around in your head were thoughts of hanging your life on the hook and your own death. Sobbing and completely lost, you gave these thoughts the strength they carried within and let them win.
For weeks, you put up with everything life has thrown at you, but the ground had been torn from under your feet.
Desperate and almost in a state of panic, you got up on shaky legs and immediately searched for a pen in various drawers before ripping the paper out of the printer on your way to the coffee table.
Totally lost in your own anger and destruction, you cleared the things that were on the table with a simple sweep of your arms onto the floor. The cracking and clinking of the glasses on the parquet floor were absent in your ears, the only focus laying on the blank sheet of paper. You began to write absent-mindely and after the first word, the pen just flew across the paper.
<Hey my beloved sisters, Pen and paper have been lying in front of me, scraps of thoughts flying back and forth, but nothing useful that would help me put into words what is going on inside of my mind. My classmates call me different than the rest of humanity. It hurts to see the disgusted looks and hear the nasty names they call me. Every day, I have to endure the teasing. Comments that make me miserable. Both of you had suspected something as I withdrew myself from you, watched my development in the last year of high school with growing concern. I suffered in silence, did not want to drag you into a fight that I had to master alone. But I had lost this incessant fight, my time on this earth is up and you are not to blame. The price I had to pay for being myself torments me. Excruciating pain as the cold grips me and my innocent blood dries up in my veins. I just wanted to feel complete, but what remains are deep burns on scarred flesh. Embracing flames, expressed in the form of insults and contempt, pull me deeper. Their dominant psyche and their whispering voices behind my back stifle my cries for help while their words bring me to my knees, slaughter my defenseless body every second of my school days. I want to be free. Free from everything but above all from the unspeakable pain that infects me with incurable venom. And that is why I say take care and do not cry over me. Nothing can be worse than years of cold bullying leading a young person to commit suicide. Kara, Alex. I love you. Forever and always, your Y/n>
Tears had smeared the ink between the lines, stains of them waving the paper. By now you had slumped off the couch onto the floor, one hand cupped over your mouth as you gazed into the distance in silence. Hurt with words and harmless statements, hurt with actions that brought you down.
You were rarely hurt physically, but the emotional pain caused your body to suffer as well. Why you deserved it, was uncertain. But it was cruel and you knew that pain would never go away living that way.
Meanwhile, you hurried through the apartment, trying to find a suitable place for the letter before you put it on the dresser near a picture of your sisters and yourself on one of the happy days. "I hope you forgive me,"
Whispering the last words into the void, you said goodbye to your place of rest, love and protection before you set off to carry out your plan. Walking the streets of National City among crowds, with the hood low over your face, you made your way off to a place you usually went whenever you needed to think.
A bridge with train track below, on which departing and arriving trains passed, noted by their loud noises. For the first time in forever, you felt like you were entering a foreign district, even though you had been coming her for years.
Your legs were heavy as lead and you could feel your heart trying to find a way up into your throat. Completely out of breath and trembling, you remained at the barrier and ignored the few looks you drew from joggers or walkers.
The adrenaline rushed through your body before you climbed over the barrier and were now standing on top of a two inch wide metal beam that kept you from a twenty meter free fall. Your heart was beating fast, blood pounding in your ears while your hands were shaking and a lump was forming in your throat.
You slowly put one foot in front of the other. When you got to the edge of the bridge, you stopped and enjoyed the wind blowing through your hair while you spread your arms like a birds wings. "Do not do it, doll. Please"
You flinched, staggered on the iron beam, but managed to keep your balance. You cocked your head to the side to see the person standing back on the slope and studied them, quickly realizing who it was before a small smile crept onto your lips. It was one of the very few people in your life who could stop you from taking the final step. "Lee, what are you doing here?"
"Kara called me in panic, asked if you were with me.." began the CEO of L-Corp to speak, carefully taking small steps towards you. The raven haired knew exactly where to look for you, had she known the places you went when you needed space and distance. "Come down and talk to me, please"
"Talk about what? There is nothing to talk about, nothing matters anymore,"
"What is on your mind and what led you to this decision. Please, break your silence," she spoke to you urgently and pleadingly. Her usually strong and spiteful voice had dropped into a worried tone, and seemed almost choked as she whispered, "Let me help you"
A cold shiver ran down your back and made your body tremble again, but your tears had dried up. You stood still and silent, your gaze directed to the train that was approaching from afar. "The daily insults so full of hatred have destroyed my soul," your throat went dry, like you did swallowed sand while feeling a cold pressure in your chest. "I can not go on living like this"
"You have an entire family behind you that is willing to help. You just need to talk to us"
Lena´s firm words mingled with your interrupted thoughts and made you sob quietly. For a moment, you felt dizzy and though you were going to fall. But it was just an illusion that made you cling to the railing even tighter, yet it brought you to a realization.
You wanted to live. For your family but above all for what was still ahead of you.
"It will get better, Y/n…" a phrase you have been trying to convince yourself many times over the past few days but failed every time. When those words came out of her mouth, they sounded real. Honest.
Your thoughts faltered briefly and you looked up at emerald green eyes that seemed to glitter in the setting sun. "Really?" you doubted, and your trembling legs retreated to the center of the platform. Standing right on the boundary between solid ground and the abyss, you laid your cold-shivering hands on the iron concrete and looked up again, feeling the icy wind blowing through your hair and making your tears seem colder on your skin.
As soon as the raven haired saw the chance, she grabbed you with an incredible strength and pulled you over the parapet into her arms. Her arms wrapped tightly around your body, holding you close with a firm grip and breathed out a sigh of relief.
Lena laid her head on your shoulder before her eyes closed and focused on your trembling body, which seemed to shatter under her embrace. Your heartbeat seemed to slow, your breathing evened out with the steady rise and fall of your chest. There was only sobbing and a slight hiccup that broke the silence. "Shh, I am here"
And you were more than grateful for that. Grateful, that she saved you from a mistake you probably pulled through if she had not shown up.

A thing of beauty I know, Chapter 5: That one thing that changed it all
Warning: EmotionallyConfusedWednesday! Note: Posted a different chapterlist for the story, might update the main master list later. PreviousChapter. MainMasterlist A thing of beauty Chapterlist.
Three firm knocks, at 3 am this sound would've scared the heart out of anybody, but not you, you were used to this, it was a part of your daily routine, well until "What do you want now Wednesday? It's literally 3 am, don't tell me you "just wanted to see me" like that night." "I need your help," Wednesday replied. "Okay..." you were confused, she is so complicated, one moment she is so straightforward with you but then other times she shows you this side of her she has never shown anyone, her un-Wednesday side. "Come in..." it took your entire willpower to keep the promise you made to Wednesday, that you would never read her mind. "Sit. I need to freshen myself, You know what? While I am at it can you make me a coffee, the way you used to back when we... you know?" You asked her. Wednesday gave you a simple nod without looking at your eyes.
You went to the bathroom to freshen up, your head really hurt as you went through the minds of everyone you met today in school, trying to find out who was it this time. But what about Wednesday? How much can you trust her? You sighed, You've known her enough to know she might be rude and all but she won't hurt someone innocent.
Wednesday sighed putting the coffee pot on the electric stove, this moment used to be so common in her life, so why did she back away from it?
"You guys were perfect" as Enid used to say, but there was an issue that Wednesday noticed, one you might have missed: Wednesday herself. She wasn't great at showing affection or saying those three little words, "I love you." But you never seemed bothered. You were genuinely happy with whatever affection Wednesday could give, but that bothered her so much. What if you found someone better? Someone who shows their love. Would you leave her? She still remembers that night. She received pictures of her and yours from her stalker. But the angle it was taken from was in front of a store that had a CCTV. She got lost in searching through hours of CCTV footage that she forgot something important. This addiction to mystery, to the unknown, got her so dedicated that she didn't even notice the time going hours past 8 pm. She had promised to watch movies with you in your dorm. As always, you were so excited as if it was the first date you two had, When she did remember, however, it was 2 am. Three knocks on your door, she expected you to not open, to be mad at her for not coming, but instead you just opened the door smiling as if nothing happened, welcoming her, but Wednesday knew she didn't deserve this as she saw the uneaten pop-corn on the table. She knew this was only because you had loved her. If you had loved someone else, they would've been here with you. She knew this would be repeated again and again, she couldn't change. She was destined to live alone. So as you were still happy that she came, taking the popcorns to heat them again, Wednesday knew she had to make a decision. It may be the right one, or perhaps the wrong one, but she couldn't continue like this. She had to let you go so you could be with someone who deserves you. She told you that this isn't working and isn't going to work ever, she told you that she didn't feel what she felt with you anymore kinda true because she felt so much more than that. She couldn't stand there to see the look in your eyes. So instead she just got out and ran back to her room. Fortunately, Enid was sleeping with Yoko that night and she was able to sit in front of the half-colored half-dead window of their room. Knees curled up close to her face again, feeling what she felt when Enid left after their fight, but this time, it felt much much worse.
"Jesus, Wednesday, turn the stove off!" Your voice jolted her back to reality, just in time to save the coffee from boiling over. With a quick turn, she shut off the stove, the coffee pot steaming in protest. "I thought you were off in some vision or something," you said gently. Visions, don't even start... Wednesday poured two cups of coffee, purposely making them bitter; it seemed fitting for the long night ahead. Handing you a cup, you took a sip and coughed a little before asking, "So, what's on your mind? What do you need help with?" "The night before the Raven, I didn't come to meet you, I was in my room... sleeping." Though she wasn't, she was in her room because she was busy looking at the photo of her and yours you set the wallpaper on her phone. "What do you mean? I clearly remember you.."  "No. I didn't. It was someone else. Someone is trying to impersonate me, a shapeshifter perhaps, trying to frame me by stealing my belongings. I've searched my entire room for clues, but there's no evidence of a break-in or exit. I don't know who they are or why they're doing this, but they seem to be adept at their deception. I'm failing to find any leads. I need your help." "Okay. They must be really good because they felt so much like you to me," You believed her, you would always believe her, but it was so un-Wednesday like not being able to get what she wanted on her own. She never needed anyone's help, even if she did, she would never admit it. "I need to get to the evidence room of the police station, they might've collected some evidence there and I need to see what they got. Even Darcy's remains might shed some clues. But I won't be able to get in as the place is equipped with countless security measures. Which is why I need your help." "I don't know Wednesday..." You weren't sure, you were already feeling tired because you used your powers a lot already today trying to find evidence. But again, spending some time with Wednesday, even if it meant doing a crime, sounded fun. "You can say no. You don't have to help me," Wednesday said, sensing your uncertainty. She was already regretting involving you in this mess, so she left an out for you for you. You sighed and smiled,
"What's the plan, Wednesday?"
"Whoa.. wait... don't go.." the cop guarding the front door started to hallucinate as you and Wednesday got in. "Okay, Here we go.." you focused your energy on the guard stationed inside the control room, making him turn off the CCTV cameras. As you walked in beside another cop he handed you the keys and started walking away. Wednesday was a bit confused but then smiled as she understood you were controlling him to give you the keys.  You basically walked to the evidence room, making anyone in your way hallucinate to sleep. The heavy door of the evidence room looms before you. With a twist of the key, you unlocked the door and stepped inside. "Alright Wednesday, you find whatever you need to find. I am gonna keep an eye on the door if anyone comes." Wednesday nodded and went to see what else they collected from the murder scene.
There were some of Darcy's belongings, bloody clothes, and a bracelet, Wednesday wasn't sure if she should touch them to look for some visions, She could wipe off her fingerprints but that would wipe the killer's fingerprints too. However, she looked at the computer beside to see that they had collected some fingerprints already, 4 different fingerprints. And some more information. Lacking tech skills, she turned to you for help. "Y/n, I need copies of these documents. Can you do it? Also remove any fingerprints they got from my locket from their computer, because you know..." she hoped you would understand. "Yeah, I'll handle it. You keep an eye out," you replied, focused on the task at hand. Wednesday nodded and went back to the evidence table. She reached out to touch Darcy's belongings one by one, hoping to trigger a vision, but each item yielded no response. Disappointed, she sighed and proceeded to carefully wipe her fingerprints from each item, leaving no trace behind. Finally her eyes went to her locket, she had to take it because she couldn't risk herself getting framed. She had touched it so many times before that she didn't think it would trigger a vision. But it did. Wednesday stared at your broken guitar in her hands, a sense of unease creeping over her. She was an expert cellist, not a guitarist. How had she ended up here? She couldn't recall. All she knew was that she was sitting on a grave, surrounded by flowers because the grave was recent.  As she positioned the guitar in front of her, the guitar pick locket dangling from her fingers, she couldn't shake the feeling of being drawn into a memory that wasn't hers. With trembling hands, she began to pluck the strings, the sound she got was far from perfect, yet if she focused she could hear your voice along with your guitar tune.
A thing of beauty - I know
Your smile is so pure, so beautiful, yet so fragile.
Will never fade away
Wednesday never thought she would love anything so much as she loves you.
What you did to me - I know
Said what you had to say
So why can't you two be happy? Why can't you two get a good ending together? Her eyes went to the name carved in the grave in front of her.
But a thing of beauty
"Y/n L/n"
Wednesday's eyes fluttered open, her heart pounding erratically in her chest as she struggled to make sense of her surroundings. The dim glow of streetlights cast eerie shadows across the alley, the cold pavement beneath her sending a shiver down her spine. Confusion clouded her thoughts as she tried to piece together the fragments of her memory. She remembered being in the evidence room with you, she still has the locket in her hands. Panic surged through her veins as she scrambled to her feet, her mind racing with unanswered questions. Where were you? How had she ended up here? What had happened during her vision?
With trembling hands, Wednesday reached for her phone, 8 missed calls and 9 messages from you.
Where the hell did you go? Pick up the phone!
Wednesday? Where are you? Answer the goddamn phone!
Oh come on, don't just leave me on seen. Talk to me.
I already got out. I have the files you need.
Wednesday I am worried. Where are you?
I can't even sense you anywhere in school.
You just left me alone in there!
I had to delete all 4 fingerprints because I couldn't find which was yours.
I am gonna talk to Weems if you don't call me before morning.
Wednesday hurriedly found your number and called you. "Wednesday what the f..." you started, your voice filled with concern and frustration. "I'm okay," she interrupted, her voice rushed with urgency. "I don't know what happened to me. I'll explain everything. Can you meet me in my room? Enid's out, and I don't think I took my room key from you after our break-up." She awaited your answer. After a moment's hesitation, your voice came through the line
"No, Wednesday, you didn't. I still have it. I'll be there."

Emma's TSITP finale thoughts that nobody asked for:
Let me start by saying...
Tumblr media
Okay and now that's over, let's begin.
I must admit I felt a little bit of sympathy for Conrad, when I hadn't before this episode. It must be extremely hard to see the girl you love with anyone else, let alone your brother. However, it isn't as cut and dry as 'she is his brothers ex so Jeremiah shouldn't have gone there'. Both guys had close relationships with Belly prior to anything romantic sparking - Jeremiah more so than Conrad, imo, because both he and Belly have described the other as their best friend - and Jeremiah and Belly had a physical relationship before she and Conrad. No, they didn't have sex, but they were still making out, groping, kissing sweetly... there was an intimacy there before she chose to be with Conrad (gentle reminder that Conrad lied about Jeremiah being over her to get what he wanted, because Belly was trying to be respectful and kinda make up for her mistakes a little bit, but I talk about that in another post so I won't go into that again). I even understand his reaction in the car (note I say I understand it, not that I agreed with it) - although it is kind of hypocritical considering how much he tells every other character to grow up. That all is to say that while I understand how painful it must be for Conrad to see, and I think Jeremiah should have spoken to him about his continued feelings for Belly prior to kissing her… it doesn’t make Jeremiah a villain and Conrad a saint. Conrad is selfish when it comes to Belly. Jeremiah can be too. Neither of them is innocent. That being said, two wrongs don’t make a right and Jeremiah should have done better. And he did… just after the fact. He gave into Belly because he loved her and she was offering him everything and Conrad would have done the same if the tables were turned. But after, he spoke to Conrad and was clear on his feelings and yet he gave them the chance to talk knowing what that could potentially mean for him and Belly. His actions do not a villain make.
I really do not care what does or doesn’t happen in the books. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again as many times as it takes to sink in to some people - the books are NOT the show. The books are the inspiration for the show, but the show is an ADAPTION. It is not a carbon copy. Jeremiah could’ve shagged Laurel in the books and I wouldn’t care because they were written over a decade ago and tv is a different medium to books and they are different things. Until it happens on screen, it didn’t happen. Anyone who has read The Vampire Diaries books knows what I mean. Same characters, entirely different story. TSITP show relies heavily on the source material, but we have already seen stark differences between the two. They are separate entities.
Belly pushed and pushed with Jeremiah. He tried hard to resist her, maybe for selfish reasons (he didn’t want to get hurt again, and good on him), but still. He tried. He should’ve opened up to Conrad about his feelings before the kiss, and it sucked that Conrad found out the way that he did, but in Jeremiah’s defence, Conrad has never really given him the chance or taken him seriously. And when he realised how strong Conrad’s feelings still were for Belly, he told him to tell her. He told him that he needed to be straight up with her and that if Conrad was who Belly wanted then he would let her go and not stand in their way because he wanted them both to be happy. He recognised that it was Belly’s choice, and that he couldn’t force her to love him back if she didn’t. That is a good fucking guy right there.
Jeremiah made some mistakes when Belly chose Conrad the first time around, because he was hurt (rightly so) and he was prideful, and he got absolutely slated for it. Conrad did the same and he gets applauded? It’s bullshit. He doesn’t have any more ‘claim’ over Belly because of their history. It’s a tough situation for SURE, but Jeremiah had feelings before Conrad dated her that Belly encouraged. He hasn’t just randomly started dating his brothers ex. It’s a unique situation given how close they all are already. He should have spoken to Conrad, but he isn’t satan for still loving this girl who is his best friend, that he was catching feels for, who led him on to believe that she could feel the same way. These things all developed before Conrad showed even the slightest romantic interest in Belly. And frankly, the way he was in this episode shows how much Jeremiah has grown up. He told both Conrad and Belly that if they wanted to be together he wouldn’t stand in their way and he promised Belly they’d still be good. Jeremiah has grown up and he fucking deserves happiness. And honestly, after their talk by the vending machines, I felt like Conrad realised how much Jeremiah actually did care for Belly. I think it was the first time he’d truly seen it. And he could’ve continued acting like a dick, and I would’ve even understood (still team jelly but I’d have understood he was emotional), but he actually handled it really well. He put his feelings aside and let them be happy, the way Jeremiah had to the previous summer (Conrad stans always refer back to Jere being pissed at thanksgiving but honestly, him not wanting to see Conrad and Belly flaunting it in front of him is a pretty natural reaction. It’ll be interesting to see how Conrad handles the same situation moving forward, and how his fans react to that). The difference is that no one else considered Jeremiah’s feelings last time, but Jeremiah was trying to be sensitive towards Conrad this time, giving him the chance and also making sure Belly had all of the information before she made a choice, AND TOLD HER IT WOULDNT BE LIKE LAST TIME IF SHE CHOSE CONRAD AGAIN. That is the least manipulative thing I’ve ever witnessed on TV so I cannot fathom why Conrad stans insist on calling Jeremiah manipulative.
As for Belly… honestly I’ve not been Belly’s biggest fan, but she really has grown up. It’s not her fault that Conrad misinterpreted her actions. She outright told him she wanted to be his friend. She was being friendly towards him, and he took it the wrong way (with encouragement from Steven, which made things worse. I have several opinions about Steven also. He’s way too controlling of Belly imho). In this episode, I was actually really proud of her. Again, I’ve not read the books, but I’ve read summaries, and it seems like the Belly we saw was super confident in her decision. She did nothing but reassure Jeremiah this episode, both with her words and her actions. She didn’t run after Conrad immediately - she only did it because Jeremiah asked her to. She told Conrad she wanted to be friends. She didn’t give him any indication she wanted to be more. It was very obvious there was a vibe with Jeremiah, but since nobody in Cousins seems to remember Jeremiah exists, nobody else noticed. That’s not her fault. She’s spent the entire season being there for Jeremiah, trying to make it up to him. In the end, she was happy, she was confident. She seemed so full of life in a way we never saw when she was with Conrad. She said in her speech to Jeremiah that she wanted something real. That she knew now that Conrad was only a dream. I’ve seen people interpret that as he was her dream guy but since she can’t have him, she’ll have Jeremiah instead. I didn’t interpret it that way. To me, that was her acknowledging that the person she thought Conrad was was a dream. Because everybody knew she’d had this puppy love infatuation with him for most of her life. And now she knew that’s all it was. That it wasn’t love but a fantasy that she’d built on the back of a person who didn’t really exist outside of her own imagination. Where as Jeremiah was real. He was exactly who he said he was. He wasn’t a fantasy. He’s there, and he isn’t perfect, and that’s fine. And she recognises that she blew it chasing this fantasy. I dunno really how to word what I’m thinking properly but I just didn’t take that in a negative way and I thought it was sweet. Like, haven’t we all watched shows or seen celebs on tv and daydreamed about it? Because you don’t really know them you can invent this perfect picture and it can make you see your own life and relationships in a bad light for a time… until you remember that they aren’t real; the idealised person you’ve created.
Disclaimer on this next part - I’ve not read the books so I might have misinformation. Anyway, from what I’ve heard of the books, Belly seemed still quite torn between the two and only went with Jeremiah after Conrad took it all back and pissed off and left her again. She’d already chosen Jeremiah at that point in the show. She didn’t run after Conrad and leave Jeremiah behind by the car - Jeremiah asked her to. She seemed so exhausted with Conrad this episode and just completely sick of his shit. She was all in with Jeremiah and I loved it. I don’t see a way that she would come back to Conrad now because she seemed so done with him and her and Jeremiah are so sweet. I’m honestly dreading season 3. I don’t want to witness this character assassination in the pursuit of a Bonrad endgame because we all know it’s going to happen, regardless of what is right for the characters.
Anyway, I’m happy with the ending. Belly won back some points with me because she really worked to make Jeremiah feel secure and I loved it. She’s grown. I hope she continues this (but no doubt they’ll ruin it all in season 3). Jeremiah and Conrad also grew in the end. It was good. The show could’ve ended there for me and I’d be happy.
Hope my word vomit made sense hahaha I have a lot of feelings.

Terrified (Rooster x Reader)
Tumblr media
Inspired by something that happened to me this week, and the purest response I could have ever asked for. 🥺
TW: cheating, not really proofread
*****
Your whole family sat around the table, you had been visiting them with Bradley, and they had all been thrilled to meet him. Dinner had been spectacular, one of your family's recipes. Now, you were all chatting after dessert when your boyfriend excused himself to the restroom. Your phone buzzed, and while still talking to your aunt, you raised it from the wooden surface to read the notification. Your eyebrows practically shot up into your hairline. It was actually Rooster’s phone, and you had mistaken it for your own; but that’s not what had you so surprised.
“I miss you, baby.”
You unlocked the phone, and opened messages under the name Gary.
“I miss you, baby.”
“Need you.”
“Want you tonight.”
“Have you left your girlfriend's house yet?”
You couldn’t breathe, and you felt lightheaded when you began to read Bradley’s responses.
“Yeah, where are we meeting tonight, baby? Can’t wait to fuck you.”
“Need you too.”
Looking up from the phone, the house was suddenly empty. Bradley standing in front of you innocently.
“W-What is this?! Who is she?!” your voice was so gutted, and he had almost no remorse in his response.
“It’s your replacement,” he grinned.
“I- I can’t believe you! How could you do this?!” it felt like you were shrinking in your spot.
“I’ve already gotten everything I can out of you,” he shrugged, “all of your videos on fan sites have been making me enough money.” The blood drained from your face, leaving an ice cold sensation beneath your skin. “I can’t believe you haven’t noticed the camera. I’ve been posting you during sex!” His laugh cut through you like a knife. Hastily, you thought of a response.
“I- I’m.. I AM BREAKING UP WITH YOU!” you shrieked, trying to sound strong. He approached you, smiling sympathetically.
“No, honey. I am breaking up with YOU.”
Before you knew it, his large hands were wrapped around your throat. The hands that had held yours so tenderly only this morning, gripping your windpipe with too much force.
Sitting up in bed, your chest was heaving with panic. Looking wildly around the dark room, you pulled the blanket off of you; sweating from the nerves.
Your childhood room was dimly lit from the street lamp outside, and Bradley’s large form lay sprawled across the air mattress. His head was further from yours, the two of you facing opposite directions in your separate beds. The mattress was large enough for the two of you, but your parents preferred you in different beds since you weren’t married yet. The silence was so loud it made your ears ring; the only thing breaking through it was his slight snoring and your panicked breaths.
The dream replayed in your head for several minutes, but eventually you gathered the courage to crawl over to him. Bradley was a good man, and you trusted him not to ever hurt you, but you felt far too rattled by your dream to go back to sleep. Snagging a blanket from your bed, you curled up next to him and stared at his back. For twenty minutes you tried to coax yourself back to sleep, comforted by his presence.
He would never hurt you. He would never cheat on you. He is a good man. So why are you so frightened right now?
Rooster shifted in his sleep, and moved from his right side onto his left. Without missing a beat, or asking what you were doing in his bed, he placed a gentle kiss on your forehead. Entirely unprompted, Bradley was such a wonderful man. He cared so much about those he loved, and was never afraid to show it. You could never be hurt by him. Your eyes welled with tears, and he finally realized you were awake and had crawled into his bed.
“Are you okay?” his voice was dripping with the remnants of a deep sleep.
“No, I had a nightmare,” you confessed, and he instantly pulled you towards him.
“What happened?” he asked, and you hesitantly explained what had happened. When he slipped his hand over to caress your jaw, you stiffened slightly, but settled into his touch. He instantly became concerned from your nightmare.
“I promise you I would never hurt you,” he swore, running his thumb along the soft skin.
“I know,” you settled further into his arms, “I love you, Bradley.”
“I love you too.”
