Obey me x twisted wonderland crossover where MC goes to twisted wonderland from obey me but has their full range of magical powers

Only problem is, they can't really use it.

How would MC feel, hearing over and over about their useless state, when they are infact a rather powerful sorcerer?

pt 2 as requested: Here

Magic in twisted wonderland is managed and flows through mage stones, whilst in obey me magic is by a persons inner nature, and seems to be contained/managed via a wand of some sort (until you become mastered at it, like solomon, who still uses a wand!) Of course there are sigils and and other mediums to be used, however for this scenario, they are dulled thoroughly due to the 1) cut off between worlds and 2) The inability to adapt to a different worlds principles of magic.

Blot just isn't a thing in obey me, MC obviously doesn't have the ability to accumulate blot, so their type of magic is just incompatable with twisted wonderland. So imagine how goddamn frustrating it is when everyone likes to remind MC how magicless they are? And they really don't believe you when you tell them you're actually the apprentice of the most powerful sorcerer in humanity, and can control 7 of the most dangerous demons from your world.

"MC has about as much magical talent as a box of crayons," Ace snorts. He wouldn't be saying that if you just had the power to curse his mouth shut.

"You have no real merits to offer me, not to mention you cannot even use magic," Azul pointed out. If only you could summon leviathan and have him send lotan octavinelles way. They would be sobbing at your feet begging for forgiveness!

And Vil. "You're just about as polished as a sack of half priced potatos!" ...If Asmodeus were there to hear that comment. Vil would get a very analytical lecture about every tiny flaw and detail in his life. Vil would be shattered by the end of it, his pride and what he thought was beauty down the drain.

Crowley laughing at you to your face when you tried to tell him about devildom and where you wish to return. You? A magicless human? Hilarious. Crowley has been through his fair share of "demons" and dark magic, and he definitely did not believe you fit a "summoner of terrifying beings" vibe. If only Satan was there, then Crowley would really understand what it was like to fear something, and regret poking fun at you and taking your concerns so lightly. "If you had the ability to summon powerful demons , how come you are still here?" He mocked you. Of course you had tried, however with the problem being the connection between two completely separate dimensions causing a drift in your attempts to summon any of the brothers, It was nearly impossible. Sigils just did not carry the same amount of magic in twisted wonderland as it did back home.

It wasn't until you held one of the wishing stars (from the "make a wish" event) that anybody began to believe...no, consider your "ridiculous" stories. You held the star to your chest and made your wish of wanting to return home, to which it glowed so bright and cracked. Everyone stared at you as your star shattered, only someone with high concentrations of magic could cause something like this to happen. Since it wasn't powered via mage stone or the need of blot accumulation, your natural traces magic had managed to break the wishing star. Something only someone with a huge pool of magical ability could accomplish, if even.

"I have been trying to tell you guys" you growled, picking up the shattered pieces. Getting over the initial shock of the entire situation, they quickly dismissed it as a faulty star and writing off the strange phenomenon. There is just no way someone such as yourself could possibly hold such great traces of magic that you actually shattered the star, right? They all looked down at you, saw you so much differently, and treated you as such. You didnt belong at that school, and they made it clear. Well.... No matter.

Wait until they realize you finally had managed to successfully contact Lucifer, and they were actively working on your safe return.

And wait until they feel his power when he hears how poorly his little sheep had been treated.

(Sorry I made a mistake with auto correct don’t answer the old one) what makes you love sonic Satam more than other sonic continuities?

Oh, but I had such an extensive post about my feelings towards Saran and my preferences for it ready.

Heh, but no worries, I got ya.

Hmm, why do I like SatAM most? Let me think...

You'd probably assume that I like it most because it's what I grew up with or was my first exposure to Sonic on the whole, but the truth of the matter is that as a kid I only saw the very last episode while on a family visit to the UK, and didn't see the rest of the series until I was a teenager.

Yet, something about the Sonic presented in 'Doomsday' captured my imagination in a big way, and seeing the rest of the show did much to cement that love.

I guess the reason why I still love it most even to this day is because I find it's setting and the nature of the conflict compelling, and I especially love the nature of Sonic and Robotnik's relationship. I love the very real, intense hatred between the two and the personal nature of their conflict, as well as the fact that the odds are pretty heavily stacked against Sonic and his friends. It makes their victories all the better earned and meaningful, I feel.

Likewise, I enjoy Sonic's characterization. It remains my favorite because while he is indeed the epitame of '90s Cool', this is also the version of Sonic that for the longest time showcased a great deal of emotional vulnerability and depth, with episodes focusing on things like his all too real fear of failure and losing his friends as well as how badly he misses his uncle. I like that there is more going on with him that belies his whole 'Blue Dude with an Attitude' persona.

While I'm at it, I like him having a close knit core of friends whom he can rely on and who assist him in fighting Robotnik, as well as the nature of that team of which he is a part. Because honestly, at the heart of it, the Freedom Fighters are a group of friends, and more to the point? They are all children orphaned by Robotnik's war who have managed to make a new family out of each other. It is not Sally's rank that makes her leader of the Freedom Fighters, but the fact her friends trust her judgment and her ability to lead- at no point in the show does she ever really give an order to Sonic. She'll cajole, beg or ask, but at no point does she ever command him to obey on the basis of her rank or royal authority -she asks, and he obliges because he wants to. It's a compelling dynamic that I enjoy, and it helps that I like ALL the Freedom Fighters.

Oh and then there's Robotnik. I mean you see my name and my icon so you know he'd be a big part of things, and spoiler alert- he is. Robotnik in SatAM remains my favorite iteration of the character- Jim Cummings' performance is perfection, and I like the very genuine sense of menace the guy manages to convey. I find something very intriguing about the implications behind Robotnik given that his goal is nothing short of converting every living thing on Mobius into machines, and anything that can't be converted will simply be destroyed. It's a vision of a desolate, lifeless planet where all minds, all voices, all creatures are Robotnik. Like, what creates such an insane, hateful vision of the world and proclaims it perfect?

And it's not like Robotnik is blind to the good in people or anything like that either- he needs to be convinced that Sonic's egotism would lead him to endanger himself in a speed race, and he is able to accurately gauge that Sonic loves Sally and would do anything to save her. This is not a man who doesn't 'get' other people- he gets them just fine, he just doesn't CARE, and that makes his evil stand out even compared to the various other Eggmen and Robotniks out there. Likewise, his relationship with Snively intrigues me, based on the simple fact he is not only Robotnik's nephew, but once even admired the man before being reduced to his lackey and punching bag.

I could go on, I really could, but this has gone on long enough. I guess the short of it is that I find the show's setting and premise compelling, I love the characters, I ESPECIALLY love Sonic and Robotnik both, and to this day it continues to hit the right notes for me. It's not a perfect show, for no show is, and much of what went into the show would be developed further in Archie (For better and for worse), but at the end of the day SatAM still remains one of my favorite things on the planet, and my favorite version of Sonic. It's prolly gonna stay that way for a good long while.

Obey Me: Adventures of Catan

An Obey Me AU Story

Warning: phone during class

Chapter 6: Thrift shopping for clothes

Throughout the day Levi was still in his room and as for Catan, he was still starring at Henry. Levi wonders why he keeps staring at Henry 2.0 but he didn't mind as long as he gets to play video games without anyone bothering him. This felt a little nice. Just an average day in Levi's room, except now he has a little friend there.

-In RAD-

RAD was the same as always as most of the brothers had to attend to class and work. Many of the other demons would just chat and hang out before the bell rings. As it did the brothers would have to be in class learning about spells and magic. Belphie however, sneaks out of class to the special spot of the school to relax and sleep. He does get in trouble for diching school but he keeps doing it anyways. It is his special place that none of his brothers can find him.

Satan was in class like he always is, although he can't stop thinking about Catan. He finally gets to keep a pet but is Catan even a pet to begin with? He also wonders why Lucifer would let him keep a pet after many years of him saying that he will not have a pet. Somehow he thinks that's Lucifer felt pity for him. Satan smirked knowing he made Lucifer feel bad that he let him have a pet. After being distracted he knew that he needed to get to work before he misses anything.

Asmo which was in the same class as Satan, had his phone underneath the desk looking for cute pictures of clothes. He giggled while looking for more pictures. Satan looked around to see Asmo on his phone. Satan got pissed as he knew Asmo will get in trouble. Asmo was sitting there happily sending the pictures to Levi.

(Asmo) I like the first one but I think the third picture will look cute on him.

(Levi) I am not making all 25 of these outfits for just one cat.

(Asmo) He is not just a cat! He is an adorable looking cat. Plus I need them done by tomorrow

(Levi) What?! Why tomorrow?

(Asmo) Because I want to take pictures of him and post them on social media.

(Levi) No way I'm not doing that, you can just buy some clothes yourself. You're good at getting clothes anyways.

(Asmo) How rude! You promised to make clothes for Catan

Asmo angerly texted Levi. How dare he refuse to make clothes. Levi promised that he will make clothes for Catan. Why is he refusing now?

"Asmo, stop texting we are in class..."

Satam whispered.

"Oop, sorry"

Asmo whispered back and quickly put his phone away before he got caught. Satan looked back at his own notes as he wonders if Catan will be alright.

As the teachers kept talking and talking while writing stuff on the board, the bell finally rang. Everyone got up and packed their stuff to leave. Satan had already put all of his books and notebooks away neatly in his backpack. He was about to walk away but then Asmo stopped him.

"Satan, do you want to go shopping with me?"

Asmo smiled at Satan.

"No"

Satan began to walk.

"Why not!"

Asmo ran to follow Satan as he began to leave him.

"Look I was texting Levi and he said that he is refusing to make clothing for Catan so now I have to go shopping, but I don't know what to buy and I need your opinion please help me!"

Asmo begged Satan to come with. No wonder Asmo was texting during class.

"All I did was sent him 25 pictures. I don't know why he has to act all mean and ungrateful"

Asmo crosses his hands.

"Yea I wonder why..."

Satan though, agreed to go shopping with Asmo after school.

As they left, Mammon was laying against the wall waiting for Beel to arrive from practice.

"He better not be late, I have stuff to do"

Mammon grumbled to himself. He finally saw the tall orange hair demon in the distance. He looks like he is looking for someone so Mammon got up from the wall and walked towards him.

"What are ya lookin for Beel?"

"I can't find Belphie anywhere, he promised that he didn't cut class this time"

"He probably fell asleep somewhere, I'll help ya find him"

Both Mammon and Beel were out looking for Belphie in the RAD. They search at almost all the places that he might be at. As for Lucifer, he already knows where one of his brothers are hinding.

-In The Devildom Street-

It was quite chilly outside in the Devildom. As some of the brothers were still at school, Asmo and Satan decided to go shopping.

They were walking around looking at the many stores and glancing at what they had in store through the glass. Some stores had special candy, stuff animals, and special niknaks.

Asmo patted on Satan's shoulder to get Satan's attention. He pointed at a store that he thought would be a good place to check out. Satan looked at the store Asmo pointed out and saw how it is a thrift store. Satan expected Asmo to pick some fancy store with designer clothes but this is a perfect place to find clothes. As Asmo walked towards the store, satan followed behind him.

They had many polo shirts, jeans, jackets, and hats in the store. The two brothers were still in their RAD Uniforms since they just got out from school. Asmo, even though he was the one to suggest buying clothes for Catan, was looking through the racks to buy something for himself. Satan looked through many clothes but none had caught his eye. He looked through many shirts and pants but they seem to not fit well with how he imagin Catan to be in.

Satan only wanted at least one pair of clothes so that he won't have to worry about buying more. Asmo in the other hand found many clothes that he picked himself to wear. He thought that since most of the clothes cool vintage, it will definitely blow up on devilgram. Asmo glanced around to find a fitting room and quickly picked up the mountain full of clothes to the fitting room around the back.

Satan looked up from the rack and disappointingly watched Asmodeus walked to the back. He rolled his eyes until his eyes wandered and found a light brown sweater with a special tag on it. He looked at the tag that read.

"Warning: Magical/been cursed"

He got curious and picked up the sweater to ask about the tag to the person behind the register.

"Hello, what does this warning mean? It is true that this sweater is cursed?"

"Ah, this sweater has been given from a former Wich. They said that they put a curse in this sweater which let's the user wear it comfortably no matter what size they are"

Satan was intrigued, a sweater that can be worn no matter if you are small or tall. This is perfect, Catan can have this sweater even if he got older. Satan check the price which was only 200 Grimm.

"I will buy it, please"

Satan said.

"Of course let me get this ready for you"

The demon took the sweater and began to bring his order. As Satan waited and took his money from his pocket, Asmo walked out of the fitting room. He wore a pink shirt with brown dress pants. He also had a vest that matches the whole outfit.

"Satan, how do I look?"

Asmo asked Satan in a cute voice as he was making a pose to show off.

"You are buying that with your own money."

Satan said as he gave money to the demon working in the store and picked up the sweater.

"Everyone will just love this cute outfit, even with an outfit like this just makes me so beautiful"

Asmo talked to himself. Satan simply waited for Asmo to finish with his own shopping spree. It took about half a hour then they finally left the store to go home. Satan had only one bag while Asmo looked like he went to 5 different stores. They both walked around chatting for a bit as they were getting back to the house.

Spoiled little brat Sally who wants her way NOW is wonderful. It reminds me of how SatAM S1 Sally had that egotistical "I know I'm right because I'm smart" attitude that later incarnations (even SatAM S2) kinda ditched, to her detriment.

I’m not sure if I agree exactly with that S1 characterization (I would say those comments were more to tease than anything), but either way, I’m so happy to see that brat!Sally has been getting such a positive response from people! I really wasn’t sure what kind of feedback I was going to get on her presentation, to be honest. I’ve always written very young versions of Sally as being a lot less capable of seeing past her own point of view prior to the coup.

That said, it’s one of those things that I almost feel like I’m getting more credit for than I deserve, because honestly, Blast to the Past in SatAM hinted at some of these behaviors itself. If you pay attention to her particularly in part 1, we see that she’s… opinionated, to say the least. She gets very frustrated when Sonic won’t agree with her, and keeps ramping up both her attempts to make him agree as well as her volume. It drives her absolutely crazy that he just will not bend to what she wants. All I’ve done is taken that baseline read and inferred that it’s probably because, as a princess, she’s used to people obeying and agreeing with her without a fight. Sonic is really the only person that has no real obligation to respect her as an authority, so his lack of cooperation is stressful to her, which manifests in her throwing a small tantrum.

Has there ever been an antagonist (original character or otherwise) who you've REALLY enjoyed playing as?

You know, it’s funny, but I actually haven’t gotten to play the bigger, more well-known villains all that often because they typically only show up during ‘boss fight’ types of moments. Some of them I’ve really liked, but I haven’t gotten as much mileage as I might’ve preferred (although that’s typically just poor planning on my part).

In my private RP continuity, “Eggman” and “Robotnik” were kind of spliced together for the sake of making certain things work better; the character was essentially Eggman’s appearance with SatAM Robotnik’s personality. (That said, he still had some metal body parts a la Robotnik, but it’s not something that’d be visually apparent.) The names were basically interchangeable and boiled down to what character was speaking, ie Sally is more prone to saying Robotnik whereas Elias would probably say Eggman. This also applied to the terms “Robotropolis” and “Eggmanland,” although in that case Robotropolis was more common. I really liked this version of Eggman/Robotnik, but I haven’t gotten to explore it enough to say much more than that about him. Early on in the game, Finitevus did what he could to maintain his loose alliance with him, if just to influence him away from things like attacking Albion, but eventually the jig was up when Fini’s relationship with Knuckles became more common knowledge. There were only a couple of other appearances beyond that point.

Naugus and Mogul have also made appearances, but their respective screen times have really only been a blip here and there. ...Well, I suppose that’s not fair to say of Naugus, because he was a presence for a LONG time in the game, but not in a way that was readily apparent to most of the characters. Still, though, we really only got to SEE him for a hot minute. He at least has the potential to turn up again at some point, as he’s not dead so much as missing.

By far, my favorite villain to play has been Hamlin -- largely because he’s not exactly recognized as a ‘bad guy’ (or at least, he wasn’t until recently). He’s been a problem in the game for a very, VERY long time, and he was always super fucking sneaky about it. He’s always been smart enough to lay out his plans veeeeery slowly, which made it harder for the average person to realize what he was doing and where he was going with it, especially for the people living within West Acorn Republic. What really makes him interesting to me is that, despite doing obviously shitty things and having become a bit mad with power, there’s still some really twisted logic to his point of view that makes him think what he’s doing is not only okay, but necessary. He’s had a much longer run in the game than really any other adversary, and it’s been a joy to watch him push the stakes higher and higher, then ultimately be taken down in such a spectacular fashion. He’s currently in prison and awaiting trial, and I just can’t help myself from periodically checking in on him just because it’s such a delight to watch him kick and scream like a toddler because people aren’t blindly obeying him anymore.

Hey! I'm glad that you pointed yourself out! I want to bring out a few ideas on how to handle Sally that had been effectively replaced by a robot when the FF's went to high-school. How would a well-written Sally handle that she'd been betrayed by her father in this situation?

Yo yo! I’m happy to help, and welcome!

(Okay I’M ADDING A CUT HERE because this turned out much longer than I thought it was and people don’t need this much babble on their dashboards.)

Before you start trying to approach that, you first and foremost have to establish 1) what kind of guy her dad is, and 2) how that affects their relationship. I have a specific view on this, but a big chunk of it is rooted in head canon that may not be universal.

For me, King Acorn from SatAM and King Max from Archie are both part of my canon, but at different times in his life. The personality that we see in SatAM -- warm, kind-hearted, empathetic -- is the person he originally was when he was sealed away in The Void/The Zone of Silence/whatev. King Max -- the arrogant, belligerent, and even downright abusive person that plauged the comics -- is the personality that came back out years later.

This has a profound effect on Sally’s behavior, because the King Acorn from SatAM is the one she remembers, the one she spent most of her childhood and early adulthood aching and pining for, and who she keeps trying to hope will eventually come back if Max is given enough time. It makes her more submissive to his nasty and ridiculous orders because she’s trying so hard to please him, desperately hoping that if she shows him enough kindness that he’ll treat her the way he used to. Of course, all of us on the outside can see that his time in the Void/Zone warped his psyche and he’s not going to go back, but Sally’s still so stuck hanging on to what she’s been wanting for so many years she can’t see it. It causes her to obey more and more outrageous commands and keep forgiving his behavior, even though he hurts her basically all the time. (As a side note, I personally head canon that Sally struggles with depression during this time as well because of how toxic their relationship becomes. For me it explains at least some of her bizarre and OOC behaviors in the comic during this time period.)

So, if it were me writing Sally under those circumstances, it’d be pretty messy. Sally would be pretty deeply wounded by the fact that her father would do something like that to her, despite how frequently she bends over backwards to please and accommodate him and despite the fact that she jumps through every ridiculous hoop he puts in front of her and despite the fact that she’s been doing all this for him while still trying to keep on top of her other duties. I think something that egregious may even be enough to push her to her breaking point, and could be what finally pushes her to stand up to him. I would expect a pretty mixed bag of emotions boiling over at the same time. Even though Sally’s normally pretty stoic and tries not to show weakness in front of others, I imagine this intense of an onslaught would get the best of her, and she’d probably cry but also be incredibly angry and indignant. I have no doubt that she’d finally telling all the things she’d been wanting to say every time she swallowed her pride, but I’m nooot quite sure if she’d manage to keep it controlled or if she’d have a complete meltdown and just scream it at him.

However it all went down, I think the ultimate outcome would be that Sally would finally separate herself from him, probably for a long time. I think she’d avoid any contact with him that she wasn’t obligated to have, and spend a lot of time just trying to put herself back together. At this point I think she’d be in that funk of exiting a toxic environment where you’re trying to remember what your life was like beforehand and wondering if you’ll ever get back to that. But this is where it again depends on what your version of her father is like, because if he’s particularly nasty he might not let her go so easily. If he’s not nasty so much as he’s just plain sexist, he may not care quite so much about her not being around and focus his interests on Elias instead. It all depends.

Okay uh THIS CAME OUT REALLY LONG and may not be as helpful as I meant it to be since I’m using head canons as examples here. Anyway, if nothing else, take away this: In pretty much every canon, Sally is a big, biiig big Daddy’s Girl, so even if you don’t write them having an unhealthy relationship, a betrayal coming from him of all people is going to cut her pretty deeply. Just focus on what kind of person your King Max is and use that as a guide to determine what kind of relationship he has with her.
