First Impressions Pt.III (Undateables)

Diavolo has childlike curiosity for most things, especially this human that goes from a lamb to slaughter, to master of the seven lords of hell.

At first glance, there really isn't much to them, they seem functional, balanced, but average. Next thing he knows, they're making pacts and facing down everything the Devildom has to offer, good and bad.

Admiration replaces the curiosity almost immediately, they're a delightful addition to the Devildom, to life in general.

Barbatos knew a menace when he saw one. Out of those around him, perhaps he is one of the few that didn't underestimate the exchange student.

From the moment he glimpsed them walking the halls of RAD with Mammon already at their beck and call, he knows they'll make changes to this world of theirs that won't soon be forgotten.

Such a little thing, to throw such a big world into uproar. Ironic, and delightful. People like (Y/N) certainly keep his eternities entertaining.

Solomon saw a rather young little thing thrown into a lion's den. He'd offer to protect them, but he's far too curious how an average person will survive in this place. He wants to watch them adapt to this place, to the demons around them, and he isn't disapointed.

He is, in fact, mildly jealous.

(Y/N) racks up the avatar's of Greed, Envy, Gluttony and Lust in a literal blink of an eye. The first may have been dumb luck, the second a coincidence, but by the third, it is absolutely on purpose, and planned.

Still, crossing them in the halls, they're still that charmingly gorgeous, average human, smiling despite sitting in a den of piranas.

His jealousy doesn't fade, it goes instead to the brothers, for getting to spend so much time with such a unique creature. Solomon no longer wants them, he wants their master.

Simeon felt sorry for the human, at least Solomon had centuries of experience and no small amount of power to draw on, (Y/N) had neither. They've been chucked into the deep end, he's genuinely astonished when they manage to swim.

He's fallen for the determination in a matter of days, and eagerly watches the fearless nature take them onward, in and out of danger.

Truly, delightful to watch.

Luke still feels sorry for them, even later. Not for the same reasons though. At first, he thought the demons cruel for keeping (Y/N) away from the only other human in the Devildom and making them stay with the 7 Lords.

These days, he thinks (Y/N) is the cruel one, to themselves. They've become masters of 7 powerful beings, and haven't even learned how to master themselves yet.

He admires the human beyond words, and despite the fact that he's well older than they, he can find an older sibling in (Y/N). He only wishes they were kinder to themselves.

In the end he’s too busy to play such games.

Mammon would claim he deserves to be your husband, as your first man and all that. Gets into a genuine argument with the angel that is half his age. You have to pull him aside and tell him to just let Luke win.

Mammon grumbles and tells you that you owe him for this, and takes the role as one of your children.

Levi would stew in his envy, but resign to being the pet fish.

Satan would argue (just a little bit) that he should be your husband, but when he loses to the tiny angel, storms away, claiming he doesn’t have time for childish games.

(He really did get upset about it, but cools down when you let him know that you guys can play house together later on.)

Asmo would want to be your husband, but when told no, say that you deserve two husbands! Or you could have an affair with him! <3

Luke gasps and tells him to get lost, such treachery and infidelity is not allowed in your home! 😠

Beel would pout, and pretend he doesn’t mind not being your husband, and take the role as one of your children.

He understands that this is just a silly game and knows how happy it makes the little angel!

Belphie would be a bit upset, but put up minimal complaints, he finds out being a houseplant offers lots of time to sleep!

(bonus for my wife!) Thirteen gets her way of having you as a spouse by claiming you get to have one husband and one wife!

(Alternatively Luke straight up says that they aren’t allowed to play with you guys 🤭. Simeon will tell him off later for that.)

"What's a 'mama' Y/n?"

You look at the boy next to you, there's a smudge of flour on his cheek from the cookies you're baking.

"It depends on the circumstance, but essentially it's someone who's feminine presenting that takes care of a kid." You answer, taking a towel to wipe the powder off of him.

"Depending on the circumstance?" His head tilts a bit in confusion.

Tossing the towel back on the counter before trying to find a wording that doesn't turn into a mini-lesson on gender identity and social expectations.

"Well... Most often, it's someone who gave birth to a kid, but a mama can also be someone who adopted a child. Though it can also just be someone who takes care of someone often enough that that person thinks of them as a mother figure."

Nailed it.

"Oh." Luke looks a bit lost in thought, so you go back to mixing the dough, not wanting to stare at him while he thinks.

A few moments pass in silence until you go to grab the pre-greased cookie sheet. "So, I can call you 'Mama'?"

You almost drop the tray.

"Luke, sweetie," you place the baking sheet next to the mixing bowl. "While I wouldn't mind, that word is reserved for people that either are or are seen as mothers, it's not for just any feminine person you know."

He helps you shape the dough into cookie-sized balls, spacing them on the tray so they don't stick together.

"But you always take care of me. You help me with my homework, you help me bake and cook for me, and you always stick up for me when the brothers are picking on me," he says matter-of-factly.

"I-" Realizing he's right, a small smile tugs at the corners of your lips, "Alright, if you want to call me that, I'm okay with it."

You ruffle his hair before grabbing the cookies, placing them in the oven as Luke sets the timer.

Over the next few weeks, you'd grown used to Luke calling you 'Mama" instead of your name, which caused quite the confusion for everyone else. Mammon had taken to teasing you along with Simeon. You can guess who was crueler with it.

Solomon had given a soft, knowing smile the first time he heard Luke call you as such. Asmodeus had cooed saying "how fabulous it was that you were doing charity work" to which you smacked him upside the head.

The others just brushed it off, not caring all that much.

The issue arose when you were walking back toward the HoL after class.

You rounded a corner and saw a succubus holding a book over Luke's head.

"Aw, what's the little chihuahua gonna do? You gonna cry to your mommy?" She laughs as she pushes him back.

If you weren't already going to ream her out, seeing Luke stumble over loose gravel and fall definitely sealed her fate.

Stalking up behind her, you snatch the book out of her hand.

"How about you pick on someone your own size, hm?"

Whipping around the succubus levels her glare at you, "Who the hell do you think you are? Mind your own business, human, or I'll show you exactly what a demon can d-"

"Yeah yeah, you'll eat me. Blah blah blah. You'd think being immortal beings they'd get some new threats, don't you?" You call over to Luke.

He stifles a laugh as the succubus turns an unattractive shade of red.

"You little-"

"I'd watch what I say if I were you... Wouldn't want word of you picking on his favorite exchange student getting to Diavolo~"

You hand the book back to Luke and help him up. Steering him away with you, you call back, "Also, you've got something in your teeth; Pretty lousy succubining if you ask me!"

She lets out an angry "Ugh!" as you walk away, hand coming up to cover her mouth.

Damn, you really do act like his mother, huh?

BEST SIBLING EVER!!

You’d always had a soft spot for Luke. Anyone can see it. The brothers can see it. You’d be surprised but they they barely complain about it, they love seeing the way you are with Luke! It reminds them of the joys in having one another, that they can count on each other. You and Luke are a reminder that they genuinely love each other. Some will still get jealous and complain that you aren’t paying enough attention to them (mostly Mammon and Belphegor), but they get over it pretty quickly when they see how genuinely happy you are. The brothers have a soft spot for you and your parental/sibling role in Luke’s like, especially Simeon! He’s overjoyed. He loves bringing Luke around when spending time with you. He gets to spend time with you, the apple of his eye, and Luke, the little angel he considers family. It’s the best blessing he could receive.

With you, Luke is spoiled and pampered, almost like how Belphegor is. Luke wants something to eat? You’re getting him all kinds of treats! Luke wants to stay up past his bedtime? Of course! Luke wants to spend time with you but your schedule is free? Would you look at that, your schedule suddenly disappeared and you have the whole day with him! No matter what Luke says about being treated like a child, he loves the way you treat him and care for him. It makes him feel like you are his special home away from the Celestial Realm.

Luke has MC privileges.

It’s just a fact.

The brothers can’t do anything about it and if they tried, they get a grumpy MC and an even grumpier Luke (Chihuahua). Satan wants to study with MC? Luke’s coming too! He’s got some stuff he wants to learn that he struggles with. Lucifer needs help in the council room? Luke wants to come too! Mammon wants to hang out with MC? Luke’s there. Belphegor wanting to nap with MC? Luke wants to cuddle MC too! Move over! They brothers find it a little annoying but it’s fine, that’s just how little siblings can be with the siblings they love.

Simeon love, loves and adores MC and Luke’s dynamic :( he can’t stand it. It makes him want to cry happily when he sees Luke get so excited seeing you. It also breaks his heart when Luke has to go back to Purgatory Hall and sees the small frown on his face because he has to leave MC. It almost makes him want to cave and let Luke have a sleepover at HOL.

Luke never knew about your relationship with your family back in the human realm. He was curious but never asked because he was afraid it might breech your privacy. But there was one time where Luke encountered a couple of lower level demons that were causing mischief in RAD and was likely caught in the middle of it because he wanted to stop whatever possible prank they were planning on doing. He was shoved a bit but nothing too harmful because you came in barreling over to them and promptly beating the shit out of the demons with wrath that could make Satan start sweating.

Even though the demons didn’t do anything to hurt Luke, he was a still a bit shaken up and scared, but not so much now that you were here with him.

The demons were scared off by you and that left you and Luke alone. He was surprised to see the prompt switch in personality when you crouched down on your knees infront of him and pulled him in close, asking a bunch of questions. “Are you okay!?” “Are you hurt anywhere!?” “They didn’t do anything to you, did they?”

When he said no to every single one, you relaxed and held him closely. That’s when Luke noticed you were shaking while hugging him. Luke was upset because you were upset now!

“What’s wrong, MC? I said I was fine… Those demons couldn’t hurt me even if they tried!”

“Don’t say that! You need to be more careful when I’m not around, okay?” You said but sighed, not wanting to freak him out with how frantic you seemed.

“Sorry, Luke. It’s just… It kinda reminded me of the time my sibling.”

“Oh. I didnt know you had a big sibling!”

“That’s because I don’t like talking about them. They aren’t exactly… A good person. What happened reminded me of the bullies I had when I was around your age. They were older than me and picked on me, even getting violent at some point when I tried to stand up to them because my big sibling was there in sight. But… They never tried to help me. Turns out they were behind the whole thing and encouraged it.”

Luke was appalled. Are you sure your big sibling isn’t a demon in disguised!? How could they want to harm

Such a kind hearted soul like you!? It makes no sense! Luke was angry but also very sad for you. You didn’t deserve that. It makes sense how you gravitated towards him, the need to protect him because you never had that kind of love growing up. He hugged you and was sniffling a bit. He made a vow to be the best little brother he could be to you! He’d make you proud! He promises MC!

Luke was an angel. Directly reporting under Micheal. He was of lower rank, thus, he had no value in Celestial Realm. Except the fact that he would report to him. Other than that the only attention which he would gain would be that Simeon was his guardian. Nothing more than that.

So when you treated him like a small child, like a brother, or just respect him and his boundaries he did not how to feel. He was so used to not having boundaries and no one asking him how he was doing that he had forgotten he was his own person altogether. He forgot that he had other things to do than reporting to Micheal all the dam time. That he had his own life. Even if he acted a little childish it could never hurt others, right? When Luke sees you, he runs full speed at your legs and hugs them. Happy Birthday! The little angel dances at your feet excitedly as he explains how he's been looking forward to this day since he met you, so that he could make a birthday cake for you. Luke drags you by the hand to wherever the cake is, and a sweet aroma fills the room. Simeon smiles warmly at you and wishes you well as he untucks a chair for you to sit in whilst he and the angel messenger sing for you. He, in-between bites of cake, gushes about how Luke was up all night preparing the cake for you: the urge to pat his head is just too great.

Despite being a bartender at the Cat's Tail, she loathes alcohol and will stop at nothing to ruin Mondstadt's wine industry — a feat easier said than done when her patrons absolutely love her drinks. She is the daughter of Draff, a hunter in Springvale.

The incredibly popular bartender of the Cat's Tail tavern, rising star of Mondstadt's wine industry, and the greatest challenger to its traditional powerhouses.

She blames Diluc for her father's problems, even though the Dawn Winery had existed well before him or his father, and fails to see why the fans she and Barbara gets are drastically different. She also appears to have attachment issues and craves companionship, implied to be a result of Draff neglecting her when he's in his drunken stupors. She genuinely enjoys the company of those who have earned her trust, such as Klee and the Traveler, finding comfort in the Traveler's touch even begs them not to leave her and "become another dream". Although she displays many cat-like mannerisms, such as her love for fish, naps, hatred of vegetables and water, and tendency to meow, purr, and bite when angry, she hates being referred to as a cat in this regard. Also true to her feline nature, she is implied to be astraphobic, as well as aquaphobic.

Diona's center bangs are pulled into a stiff, upwards pigtail at the front of her head.

Diona wears a large dark indigo cap, along with shorts of the same color with gold paw-print decorations. She also wears a dark midriff-baring sleeveless turtleneck shirt with an orange-yellow scarf, pale pink sleeves, a vest of the same color, and white gloves with light pink paw-like patterns on the undersides. yes! Luke is literally the cutest.

This is about 500 words, (practically just an imagine) and there's just fluff!

Luke was in his bed, tossing and turning. He had a cloth over his forehead and a half full cup of water on his night stand. His cheeks were bright red and his hands were clammy. You looked down at him, Simeon and Solomon looking to you for an answer.

“I offered to make him soup but-” “But it’d only make him worse.” Simeon interrupted him. The two shared a quick glare and then turned back to Luke. “You.” You pointed to Solomon. Trying to think up something for him to do. “Go… To the House of Lamentation and make sure none of the boys know about Luke. They’re nothing but insensitive.” You sighed and Solomon ran off.

“Simeon.” He turned to you. “Go to the grocery store and get me stuff for chicken noodle soup.” He nodded and ran off after Solomon.

You sat down on Luke’s bed, he stirred and opened his eyes, looking around the room. He saw you and immediately sat up. “MC.” He sounded nasally, and even though you didn’t know if you could catch an Angel’s cold, you didn’t care. You opened your arms and he launched forward into your chest.

You stroked his hair, letting his nose run on your shirt. “Why’re you here?” He grabbed onto the back of your shirt, holding you in place. “I’m here to make you feel better!” You smiled at him and he grinned back up at you. It was a sick and tired smile, but still a smile.

Luke eventually fell asleep in your arms and you laid him back down in bed, tucking him into bed and wiping the snot and sweat off his face.

Simeon came home just in time, he had two bags full of groceries. “Ok thanks!” You took the groceries from him and pushed him right back out the door. “Wait but-” You shut the door and walked off to the kitchen.

Making soup was nothing hard, Simeon had also bought pre cooked chicken, which helped lots. It only took you about half an hour to put it all together, and when it was, you heard the little pitter patter of Luke’s feet leaving his room.

“MC.” He peeked around the corner. “I’m hungry.” He was whispering and it didn’t seem like he could get any louder than that. You waved him forward and got a bowl from the cupboard. He watched you fill it up and clung to you while you did. You got a spoon and carried it out to the living room.

“Simon says I can’t eat in here..” Luke frowned. “Well Simeon isn’t here.” You gave him a wink and his face lit up. He rushed over and sat on the couch while you gave him the warm soup and turned on a movie. He enjoyed every second of the movie until he passed out again on your lap, twenty minutes later.

Luke was almost perfectly healthy the next day, though he kept whining to Simeon and Solomon about wanting to have you over again.
