Speaking of Luz and the others! How are they doing? Anything interesting happening on Titania recently?

The Collector: Well, it's summer in the human realm now, so Luz is doing her term at Hexside. Her principal worked with the other teachers to give her a modified syllabus so she won't fall behind even when she's not going there. Oh! And Grom is coming up. Luz said her and Amity are planning to both volunteer this year. Hunter goes to school now and he seems a lot happier. Gus got glasses. I actually have a picture!

The Collector: I got this the last time I visited. They were all going to take a picture together but King wanted us to jump in front of the camera right before it went off to prank them.

aro culture is being lowkey disappointed in the owl house; i know most people in the community is super hyped that lilith is confirmed aro, but the thing is...it's not confirmed in the show!

look. we've got luz and amity, they're dating, luz is confirmed to be bi in the show (s3e1). we've got multiple nonbinary characters who go by they/them pronouns. there's raine and eda, who used to be dating. all of this is explicit in the show. one character is explicitly shown to have two dads.

but not lilith. the only reason that i know she's aro is that it's been confirmed outside of the show itself

i know i'm just being picky and that i should be happy with the fact that we have an aro character at all, but it's still disappointing...that it seems like everyone else gets it so obvious and we're relegated to this 'canon but not mentioned ever'

when this happens with gay characters so many people get mad, but the same thing happens to lilith and i feel like i haven't seen anyone else mention this

tbh i just don't exactly know why this is acceptable...

Fic request: Kid Philip meets Camila and Vee.

☕️ Chocolate Caliente ☕️ (A Sequel to "Philip and Caleb’s Hunter’s Seven-Day Sibling Celebration!")

"Here you go, baby," Camila said, handing Philip a warm mug of homemade hot cocoa that she and Vee had prepared for him.

The mother then smiled a small smile, trying her best to be kind to the boy she had met two days ago, along with Luz's friends.

Speaking of Luz's friends, she and they were exploring the town for possible items that might help with making another portal, while Camila, Vee, and Philip were at home.

"Thank you," Philip spoke softly with the steaming cup in his hand as he was about to take a sip of the chocolatey drink.

It had a delicious scent.

"Ah, wait!" Camila quickly told him as he stopped.

"The drink is extremely hot, so make sure you blow into it. I don't want you to burn your tongue."

"It's usually best to blow five times to cool it down," Vee suggested with a smile as Philip nodded and took a slow, deep breath before blowing into his cup.

He repeats this action five times before bringing the mug to his lips for a sip.

As soon as the chocolate beverage entered his body, Philip felt a sense of relaxation spread, the warmth wrapping him in a comforting and sweet embrace.

His blue eyes then widened, lighting up with glee from the sugar as he started sipping more of the drink.

He was in chocolatey heaven! 🍫

Both Camila and Vee immediately took notice of this as they sat by his side at the table.

"How is it?" Camila asked, aiming her very friendly smile at the brunette.

"Is it good?" Vee's question came as she was eager to know his reaction to the treat.

Philip responded with a nod before continuing to slurp down his drink, causing the girls to giggle.

Lowering his cup, he reveals a chocolate milk mustache above his upper lip.

A blissful sigh is exhaled by him.

Upon seeing the stache, Philip did what any kid would have done in that situation and licked it clean off.

"Mmm," the small boy hummed in delight.

Such cuteness caused Camila and Vee to giggle a second time.

"Wow, that drink was delicious!" Philip beamed.

"What was it called again?" His eyes were filled with innocence as he asked.

"Chocolate caliente," Vee happily replied in Spanish.

"Chocolate caliente?" Philip repeated, looking to Camila for an explanation.

The chocolate part of the word was understood by him, but not the caliente part.

"It means 'hot chocolate' in Spanish," Camila gently explained with a giggle.

"Oh!" Philip said, now understanding.

Vee got up and headed towards the stove. "I think we should make some for Luz and the others."

"That sounds like a great idea, Vee," Camila smiled as she stood up to follow her.

Philip's eyes were wide as he stood up and stepped into the kitchen.

"Can I help to?" he asked.

Sugar and helping were things he enjoyed.

His mother always appreciated his assistance in the kitchen.

Camila turned and gave him a sweet smile. "Of course you can, mijo."

Philip tilted his head. "Mijo?"

The realization of calling him that made Camila giggle. "It means 'son', in Spanish," she said.

"Oh!" Philip went before giving Camila his biggest and brightest smile.

"Okay then, mommy!"

Smiling fondly, Camila brought a hand down to ruffle his soft brown hair.

What covens would all the egos be in?

OH I FYCKING L O V E THE OWL HOUSE OKOKOKOK

Marvin is a Wild Witch 1000% they're too in love with magic to not be a wild witch, they wanna know everything about it and appreciate it to its fullest extent. Marvin and Eda would be such good friends like actually. He'd specialise in Illusion, Oracle and Abomination magic!! But he knows a bit of everything.

Chase just reads as being Construction Coven coded. Like yes he just is Construction. He'd have a sigil as well. But he would be super good at it- I think he'd have a bit of a harder time with flying (bro probably has a fear of heights let's be honest).

JJ is absolutely an illusionist !! And he's very powerful with it too. He's never liked the idea of sigils even though he only really uses illusion magic, so he uses an illusion stone to pretend he has a sigil. He's just sneaky like that!!

Henrik is naturally in the Healing Coven, but I think it wasn't by choice (in a similar way Willow didn't want to be in the Abomination Coven but was pushed into it) he unfortunately does have a sigil and has never not regretted it- he tries to focus on being a Healer and that he's helping people to hide how he feels about his situation. If he had the choice too he would've been in the Bard Coven.

Jackie I could imagine being in the Emperors Coven but in a "was manipulated from a young age" kinda way. He has since left and likes to focus on himself and exploring magic in the way he wanted too (yes he's allowed to use all magic but the stigma of "you can only use one" really got to him so he only now has actually started exploring it properly). He's more talented with elemental magic and he's a naturally good flyer !!! He does have a sigil but he hides it so he isn't discovered.

Anti would be a demon in the Boiling Isles and would probably have a focus on Abomination Magic but in his own messed up way. I also think Anti comes off as not respecting the Emperors Coven (he still has beef with Marvin tho) so he also knows Beast Keeping.

hey other anon, the coordinator informed us of the fact that there is titan blood in the collection to have released the Collector. it just wasn't done as to wait for the titan to hatch and hope some mortal would listen to the stories and free the Collector themselves while hopefully also getting rid of the last titan. at least that was what the elder two seemed to have planned

The Collector: Stars, I knew it! Those asteroids! I should steal that while I'm here! They're as dense as black holes! They have stardust between their ears!!
