hi ! so I’ve been deep in the tokrev tags and something magical brought you to my feed bcs I’ve been searching for someone that does matchups. I would like to ask if I could request a matchup with tokyo revengers.. please take your time getting to this!

my pronouns are she/her, I’m 1.72cm, I swear too much, my favorite color is green, I’m a Pisces, and I’m pretty much a bedroom goblin. If I’m not reading or drowning in my headphones, then I’m sleeping because I love my bed a lot.

Personality wise? I won’t say that I’m antisocial, but I’m a loner. 😭 I prefer my solitude (I don’t have a problem vibing by myself), but I would enjoy spending time with my friends if I had any. I’m pretty much unapproachable thanks to my severe case of RBF and I tend to stay away from big gatherings, but if I attend them I try to separate on my own in a corner after awhile (for some reason ppl still come up to me though, it confuses me greatly)…I’m actually softer once you get to know me though and I’ve been told I have a warm presence that makes it easy for people to gravitate towards me & talk about important things (I always know someone’s deep secrets 😭). It’s easy to talk to people, I just choose not to. 😭

I can be sarcastic and I’m also straightforward. When it comes to relationships/feelings/intimacy, platonic or romantic, I am VERY awkward, it’s hard showing & receiving feelings. I am emotionally constipated until I trust you. I can be a little stubborn and sometimes reckless but it’s only when it comes to protecting my people and my freedom. I’m also very free spirited/carefree and will cut you loose if I can’t have my time to be adventurous. Even though I seem very cold and uninterested (50/50 I am), I am a hopeless romantic at heart.

I’ve typed out as enfp if that adds anything, but I’m not the stereotypical bubbly kind.

I have to admit, i think you’d also remind him a little bit of koko. But Inui is also pretty much emotionally constipated too. He has trust issues- but i think you both definitely would overcome it together realizing you have a lot in common. And probably becoming super close with each other.

He’d be fine if you’re Adventurous. But I think he is the type of guy who either wants to be in bed all day, or not really go back home.

im pretty new to tumblr roleplay, i'm still in the process of learning the proper etiquette and the whole aesthetic aspect of it so be patient with me. my activity will be sporadic, this is a hobby not a job. i understand that real life comes first and will never demand a response from you. i only ask that you offer me that same kindness.

I love his playfulness. He knows when to be serious and when to let loose and have fun. He's affection, persistent and has many 'secrets' or 'sides' to uncover and decode so I know he'll keep me on my toes. I absolutely adore his hair and how straight it is (i envy him.) He's body type isn't muscular and huge. it's that of a teenage boy. (one that can kick ass) I also love that he wears traditional clothing with pride, without being embarrassed and how he spent Emma's birthday with her. His ability to fight and protect others just makes me swoon and the fact that I'd damn well join some of his fights excites me. I also love his dominant side. He's like a wolf yk? playful but territorial.

Megumi.

I love his eyelashes and his dark eyes. It's like a void you could get lost in. I also love how he chose to save itadori and put his butt on the line for him in the first ep of jjk, very heroic. He's also really clever and knows how to fight which is so cool. Also he's a dog person which just makes everything better. With Megumi, i feel like it's all or nothing with him. And his honesty makes me melt. I love people who are considerate of others but I love the cold hard truth way more. Now in comparison to Mikey, I'd be the one to keep him on his toes and not the other way around, since he's labeled as 'boring' I feel like Megumi would do the littlest things like sharping your pencil and polishing your shoes and expect me to pick it up instantly that he likes me. Megumi is like a puzzle, put all the pieces together and you'll see the bigger picture.

Iwazumi.

I love how Iwazumi isn't afraid to be 'violent' and 'irritable' it's honestly one of my favorite things about him. His anger issues just make me love him more. I love Oikawa and Iwazumi's friendship dynamic. "The twink and tank." Dont get me started on Iwazumi's eyes. sheeeesh. nevermind that he's in a volleyball anime but damn and trust, Iwa is no fool either. he's in his senior year which makes him pretty damn smart. Like 'Iwazumi Hajime 27 athletic trainer.' don't that just make you feel in some other type of way cuz damn. Iwa's like a gentle giant once you knock the wall's down yk.

my favorite activities...it's probably something to do with shopping. although it's tiring and expensive...not to mention CLAUSTROPHOBIC...it's pretty fun looking at all the pretty stuff in the windows and trying to figure out what to buy for everyone. Another favorite Christmas activity is probably swimming/sneaking alcohol. Since it's Summer in December (where i live lol.) it's always so. hot. and we end up making all sorts of things like vodka popsicles, jello shots and quick meals like sandwiches to eat by the pool. normally, I'm on sandwich and music duty :)

my favorite thing about Christmas is how everyone is together. even though 1 or 2 people are fighting, we'll still sit together on Christmas eve/Christmas morning and open gifts, drink, eat, dance etc. I honestly just want everyone to be happy and together and yk...the presents are good too.

He's one to really enjoy himself anywhere no matter if it's lowkey or if people will look or even judge

Mikey is just focused on the people who he's with

His only goal is to make it the best time for everybody, especially you

He will absolutely throw you into the water, no doubt

But will also make sure that you won't get hurt

Mikeys a clingy baby, so he'll be attached to you a lot

And when he's about to do a cool flip or something, he'll make you watch him

He's very proud and happy to show you what he can do

He's also one to steal a kiss and then run away to embarrass you/catch you off guard

Megumi - shopping (dates)

For him I think that he'd take you shopping form time to time

Being used to nobara forcing him, he's an expert at going shopping

Whenever you mention something specific you like, he'll keep it in mind and look out for it

Either buy it for you or tell you that he found where to buy it

Megumi would absolutely buy you little snacks throughout the day that you two can share

Avoids talking about you to nobara because he knows that she'll plan something

But at the same time he's going to look for some kind of advice from her

I get the feeling that while out with you he'd be pretty quiet and kind of nervous

But if you look closely you can see his faint blush whenever you loop your arm around his

Or his smile whenever you happily eat the snacks he bought

Oh, also bc you mentioned his lashes, this has nothing to do with this but imagine him naming on your lap just right so you can admire his lashes ✋

Iwaizumi - sandwich preparations

Iwaizumi is so sweet but he struggles to show it in the cutest way

He will absolutely help you making sandwiches bc he know that if it was anyone else, it woukd take hours to get done

he's one to stand behind you while reaching uo for a plate, chest pressed against you back

Then when you turn around, lips nearly touching, he'd back off and thats when you can see him blushing

He'd scold you going "you should've waited until I had the plate, idiot"

Not that he actually minded it

While you're making the sandwiches he'd take a second to admire you, watching you do your thing. Bringing a soft amike to his lips

He's so absolutely soft for you

Iwaizumis is the type of guy to kiss you on the cheek randomly bc "I just wanted to appreciate you"

i feel like kuroo is really good at reading moods, may it be the way you act, speak, or type around/with him so he can easily tell if you would like to be left alone for the time being.

he’s a really good listener so if you’d allow him to he loves to just listen to you talk about anything and everything for hours on end hehe. not to mention he’s very understanding of you and will do anything for you :))

no because i just know that this man will look at you lovingly whenever you talk to him (he’s a simp) or whenever you text him he smiles at his phone stupidly. yes he does that and you cannot change my mind.

when you do decide to go spend some time with him, he’s very observant and respects your boundaries so he’s always careful not to cross the line.

kuroo DEFINITELY has a cat that “loves you more” than him (those are his words btw) and everytime you come over and play with it he just sits there kind of jealous - although he is smiling the whole time - while taking pics and videos!

kuroo is very happy that you let him in your life and cherishes every moment you guys spend together :>>

sakusa is not a very social person and like kuroo he’s good at reading moods and very educated, so he’s always careful to make sure he isn’t overstepping any boundaries or doing anything to make you uncomfortable.

i feel like he’d be the type of person to send you care packages at least once a month :,) since he’s not very good with words, but still wants you to know that he cares

very understanding and doesn’t judge you at all! he knows that sometimes you just want to be left alone and do things alone and he gets it, because sometimes he does too

definitely sends you texts checking up on you everyday, and when you text him first he turns into a blushy mess :))

mans will TOTALLY glare at anyone who talks behind your back/bad mouths you. like he does not care who it is or where he might be he will glare that person down till it’s imprinted in their heads to not talk shit about you ever.

always very gentle and careful with what he says,, he doesn’t have any pets - because he thinks animals hate him - but when he comes over he tries his best to get along with them because he knows how much you love them <3

i feel like it’s the kind of relationship wherein even if you dont talk for a week straight the next time you do talk it feels like you never stopped speaking

sakusa is very supportive and would love to listen to you talk about your hobbies ;; also very attentive so that you know he’s actually paying attention to you

i have no idea why, but when you hangout together he’s always sure to have some type of cute but simple activity prepared like painting or board games idk i find that really cute :>

Elliot gasped as he walked into the marble-floored ballroom. Kuroo spun, running towards him with excitement. “Do you like it?” he asked excitedly. “Please say you like it. I made sure it was cleaned well so I could seem a little impressive when you got here.”

They looked at the marble floor, gold swirling around the milky white color. His eyes drifted up, staring at the stained-glass mural on the far wall, the sun shining through onto the floor. Colors danced everywhere--he finally looked up to meet Kuroo’s eyes.

He’d never been somewhere like this before. When Kuroo’s mother had married into the royal family, they’d gone a long time without seeing each other. Now that his sister was getting married, however, he was allowed to bring a guest. From what his mother had told them, the first name to come to his mind was theirs.

“This is...it’s all so fancy. I don’t know how you live here,” they mumbled, looking around the ballroom. “You're sure I won’t step on your toes?”

“Oh no, you will. I just don’t mind,” he laughed, taking his hand and leading him to the center of the floor. “You remember what I taught you before, right?”

“Mostly. And you’re leading?”

“Correct.”

Kuroo bowed, offering his hand. When Elliot handed his out, he kissed the back of it and pulled him into him. “This alright?”

He nodded, smiling up at him. “Fine, yeah. Lead the way.”

They spun and spun around the ballroom, maybe not to a beat, but Kuroo could keep one pretty well without music. They talked and laughed when they finally fell into rhythm, forgetting they were moving and being more involved with each other.

They must have been moving for several minutes when they finally slowed down, everything around them seeming to move twice as slow. They loved seeing Kuroo smiling--it was one of their favorite things in life. Seeing him smile...it meant the world to him. They felt bad that they weren’t around for more of his smiles, but at least they got to spend this time together.

“You’re staring at me,” Kuroo mumbled. Elliot suddenly realized just how close their faces were and pulled away. His face went red as he looked to the floor, running his hand through his hair.

“Sorry about that--”

He took their hand gently, using his other to tilt their chin up. “I didn’t want you to stop.”

I hope you guys enjoy this as much as i did coming up with these ideas--honestly, theyre my favorite things to do for people, so I figured this would be fun

People often question dating apps and website and thereby have an assumption established in their minds that YOU CANNOT FIND ANYTHING SERIOUS HERE!

Well I’m here to tell you, maybe its not true. Maybe, I can change your mind about it.

Let’s take a walk down my memory lane and go back to December 2019.

Corona was still a small talk in the town and everyone was living their usual lives, at least here in India ( I don’t know much about other countries, so please don’t judge/hate me for that)

I started using Tinder and was meeting people, some were good, some were amazingly smart and with some I just could not connect and after one month of swiping left and right I matched with a guy. His profile seemed lively yet mysterious. I was drawn to him, we talked, we chatted, we videocalled each other and this went on for approximately a month and that’s when we decided to meet each other.

Feb 10 2020

It was the day when I first met him. He was probably the most beautiful person I have seen in my entire life, he was funny, smart and poetic and I was so attracted to him that I turned the blind eye to all the toxic shit he was doing to him, I failed to see that my face had lost the smile it used to have, I failed to feel what being playful feels like. He used to just talk to me whenever he wanted to sexted and apart from that he never showed any interest in any of my talks the way he used to do during the initial days, yet I was letting him trap me with him more and more.

And one day, he was gone! Just like that. 21 march 2020 was the day when he decided to call of everything we had, we shared in that past one month. He called me desperate and needy for attention and love. He made me feel guilty to feel the need of getting loved and cared for.

Which now I know is nothing I should be ashamed of. Everyone deserves to be loved and taken care of by the person they come home to everyday.

Fast forwarding to April End

I was talking to a guy on Instagram (we origninally had matched on tinder and started talking but later on realised that he lives 580 kms away from my hometown) he told me about his choice of songs, his playlists, his weird fetishes, his fav snacks, his fav pieces of poetry and his list of cheesy lines from the most cheesy romantic movies/books.

Talking to him made me feel that as If i was talking to someone who is a south pole to my north pole of magnet. Totally Opposite!

We talked and talked for days about everything you can imagine.

Based on my previous experience, I chose not to trust him because it might end up in a few weeks and I might end up getting hurt again.

But things and conversations went on and on for a few days and again, chats turned into secret calls, midnight video calls, sending each other cheesy quotes and pins about “Best Friends”.

Fast forwarding to today. 18-02-2021

We have met each other for over 100 times. He is serving military so he comes to my house whenever he gets a leave. His and my family have the same hometown, he is just posted in a different city so has to live there.

We have met each other’s family and our families have met too!

We are planning our engagement and marriage next year.

I know it all sounds like a dream.

You might even say that this is happening way too fast.

Maybe it is, but I dont care, we dont care.

We love each other and are independent enough to sustain the responsibilities that come with a maggiage.

I found my soulmate in him. With him I can be my crazy, goofy self without being guilty of being needy of love. In fact with him I don’t even feel desperate or scared. With him I realised that you don’t fall in love. You fly high in love.

Love makes you a better human, happier human and most importantly it makes you strong. It gives you a hope for everything good that you deserve, when two people are in love, they live on, live in the form of the positive energies that they made with their love, with your presence and that those people leave behind after they are gone.

Apart from the fact that you can actually find your love on dating sites Tinder, I’m here to tell you that Long distance also work!

You just need to give your love and loyalty to that person. You have to work to gain their trust and they have to do the same.

If you guys remember I told you that he is posted in a city 580 kms away from my hometown, so yeah we are working hard everyday(in our individual lives as well our relationship)to get to the dream we have seen together.

At last I wanna say that

People often say that you cannot love someone until you learn to love yorself first, but his love made me forget what hating myself felt like.

So guys, believe in love. You might find it in the most unexpected manner. Iknow you will. And that is when you will not fall in love, You’ll fly in love. <3 <3

Some helpful tips for using Uber/Lyft

Hello! For those of you that don’t know me, I’m an Uber and Lyft driver in the semi major city of Pittsburgh. I get a lot of questions from people in my daily life about my job, so I thought I’d make this post to clear some things up and offer some tips. Any other drivers are welcome to add to this.

We have no idea where we’re going until we pick you up.

I mean this literally. Neither app will tell the driver where the drop off is or how far it is until after we’ve picked up the passenger. There’s two exceptions to this: any ride that is estimated to be over 45 minutes long will notify us of just that. No exact time, it could be anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours. We don’t know. Sometimes I have to pray to the automobile gods that my car will have enough gas for the whole trip. And secondly, Uber just RECENTLY created an update where drivers who do a lot of rides more frequently will be able to see the actual trip length prior to the pick up. I don’t know the specifics on that yet.

If the app says your driver is a minute away, chances are that’s the truth.

You wouldn’t believe the number of times I turn onto the passenger’s street, making my way towards their pickup spot only to have them call me and say “Hey, it says you’re a minute away. Where are you?” Well, believe it or not, I’m a minute away. If it says this for 5 minutes then a call is reasonable. Sometimes the app cliches and sometimes we’re stuck in traffic. But otherwise, relax.

It’s fine to sit in the front, but at least engage in some conversation.

Not everybody wants to sit in the back seat, and that’s fine. But sitting in the front passenger seat and staying silent the entire ride is, well, awkward. As a driver, I never know how to approach these situations, especially when attempts at conversation fail. If you’re content with the silence, feel free to let us know. That way we can relax too. Nobody likes driving under stress.

If you want to go a route that’s different from the GPS, you have to be the one to provide directions.

Sure, some drivers might know the area like the back of their hand and be able to take whatever route you ask without any trouble. But for a lot of us, that’s not the case. Especially in bigger cities. Most drivers don’t have a problem with going an alternate route (but do understand that if it’s more miles than the projected route, the cost of the ride may go up), but you need to provide essentially turn-by-turn directions.

Clean up after yourself.

Whatever you bring into the car, you take with you. You might not think much of a gun wrapper you left on the floor of my car, but I may not notice it before my next passenger, and the next passenger may not be happy with the “mess” in my car. Oh yes, people will leave negative reviews over a single gum wrapper. It happens.

If you don’t like the music we’re playing, ask for something different. Or to have it turned off.

Some drivers have spent hours creating the perfect playlist for each ride, but most of us just use the radio or Spotify. Sometimes songs might come on that you don’t like, or maybe they make you uncomfortable. We’re not mind readers. If you don’t like the music, for whatever reason, just ask us to change it. It’s no issue.

If you have a child with you, make sure you have a car seat.

From a legal standpoint, no driver is permitted to drive a child around without the proper car seat. I don’t care if it’s a 5 minute ride and you’re holding your baby. That’s no safe! If we were to get into an accident, my ass could easily end up in prison if even a scratch happens to your baby. Don’t put us in the situation. Don’t put your child in that situation. Bring a car seat.

If you’re 18 and being picked up from a high school, have your ID ready.

No Uber or Lyft driver is permitted to pick up someone who is under 18 without an adult present. I get a lot of ride requests from high schools, often from minors. First off, if you’re a minor, stop doing this. Find another form of transportation. Please understand that I’m just trying to do my job and keep everybody safe. If you’re 18, it’s best to have your ID on you. Something that lists your date of birth. This is good practice no matter where you’re being picked up from, but essentially when at a school where the automatic assumption is that you’re a minor.

Being intoxicated is not an excuse for inappropriate behavior.

Look, Uber and Lyft are perfect for when you’ve had too much to drink. And drivers know what they’re getting into when it’s 1am on a Saturday night. It’s ok to be swaying side to side, fall asleep in the car, talk about nonsense, call me your best friend, etc. What’s not ok is inappropriate behavior. Don’t touch your driver. Don’t make advances towards your driver. Dont take your clothes off (yes, this has happened!). Don’t make out with the other passenger. Don’t try to kiss the driver. And if you feel like you’re going to vomit, WARN US. Some drivers will have paper bags on them, some will simply pull over. Whatever you need to do, but getting vomit all over my seat is going to cost you $150, and I will not hesitate to report it to Uber/Lyft so they can process the charge. It’s nothing personal, but getting puke out of a car is not a fun task.

Don’t you dare fart in the car right before getting out.

Like, you’re about to get out of the car anyways. Just fart when you’re outside. Don’t gas my car. That’s rude.

No need to be embarrassed about where you’re going.

This shouldn’t need to be said, but please tip your drivers. Even a dollar will do. For most drivers, only about 25% of our rides get tipped. And just because you paid $20 for your ride, doesn’t mean we got $20. We probably get closer to $12. And rates don’t change based on gas prices. So if gas keeps going up up up, we’re getting paid the same amount and having to pay more. Just to keep driving. So please, consider tipping. Either in the app or with cash.

And last but not least, be kind to your drivers.

Sure, some drivers are dicks. Feel free to give a 1 star review. But most drivers are nice people. They’re just trying to do their job. It’s ok to be in a bad mood. It’s ok to ask for a quiet ride because you don’t want to talk to anyone. It’s ok to vent about the awful day you had. But don’t abuse someone who’s just doing their job. We’re driving a giant metal machine that could easily kill us both with one wrong turn. Be kind.

k so aaaAAAA lets start with. skyhill i guess since thats the first one on the line? (technically i think northern hues is the first band he was in that published stuff but i havent listened to it myself so i dont knoooow anything about it other than what i just read from a comment on a youtube video and that is that it definitely sounds like the kind of music dan would have made in his stoner days which probably was true lol)

skyhill has a lot of really good chill songs tho? i personally really love ‘the city as you walk’ and ‘black & white’ the most i think - both are like lyrically really nice to listen to and the chorus especially in black & white is just hnggg. its so good tbh. but really any skyhill songs are good! they arents. as advanced vocally as his later stuff obviously, since this band is like. 12 years old at this point at least but its nice chill stuff with honestly really nice but simple lyrics if you want some good stuff to listen to as a break from all the dick jokes and whatnots that nsp and starbomb have to offer tho!

starbomb is honestly a bit more difficult tho cause its like. much more arin-heavy with the raps and such? but! lets not have that fool us cause there are still plenty of quality songs with pretty vocals by dan tho! ..also hahaa i think its needless to say but hey heres a heavy nsfw warning for these songs

‘mega marital problems’ is a personal favorite, mostly cause dan does like. three different voices in this one? and its hilarious. also if you listen in the chorus parts, you can hear the layered singing he does and its honestly just so good mmmm

‘crasher-vania’ i feel like im gonna betray myself if i dont put this on the list for multiple reasons. 1. its EASILY the most popular song on the album. 2. its freaking fantastic, with the story and the lyrics. 3. the chorus, again? (as dan most often did the chorus work on the first album!) it sounds beautiful and especially in the second chorus, you can hear him emoting it out with the lyrics. 4. the background music. if you stop to listen to it, its honestly so good? like, its very simple, yes, but it works and it just sounds awesome. always brings a smile on my face to listen to those tasty keyboard jams ~

im gonna add ‘regretroid’ here too, as its a personal favorite too. but also his voice. goes so high? and it sounds nice?? also this song is just banging with a female feature vocalist! which is real nice!!

as for the second starbomb album! im separating it a little cause woo the boys honestly improve a lot between the albums (which is crazy cause theres only like. a year? year and a half at max? between these two albums so i cant even think how good the third one is gonna sound with five years between albums and how good current nsp sounds lol)

‘smash!’ i gotta mention cause its like. the single song from the album i feel like? also cause mark is in it! and they all sound rad and yeah it doesnt have exactly too much singing but what it has sounds. so freaking good tho mmmmm i lov

‘glass joe’s title fight’ is a must on this tho cause like. this is the one starbomb song thats so much more sing than rap heavy and hngggg its so good

‘god of no more’ okay but. dans vocals in this are gorgeous. and its a super fun song too. so its a win-win

and as a personal favorite, im just gonna throw ‘robots in need of disguise’ here cause i love this song. no other reason really lol

and thennnnn we arrive to the glory that is ninja sex party! i could be a little shit and just say to listen to all lol, but im gonna try to pick things here and there among my favorites! trying to also go by album order with these ~ also nsfw warning for this but idk what you expect with a band called ninja sex party tho

‘nsp theme song’ i mean. come on. you gotta start somewhere so lets go with this lol. and its hilarious (and kinda cute but maybe thats just me lol) and the lyrics are just. well what you’d expect with the name of the song. its very simple vocal-wise, but other than that, grade a stuff tho

‘dinosaur laser fight’ is just a classic, so here you go. its wonderful and weird and animated by arin so aaaaaa!

..also i wanna add ‘objects of desire’ here cause this song is like. lyrical genius tbh. its fucking weird but its also like a ballad so theres some nice vocal stuff here too so yay. thingssssss

‘unicorn wizard’ i honestly wouldnt be true to myself if i didnt add my FIRST nsp song to this list, the one that got me listening to these fools cause mmm. this song is ridiculous and but also lyrics? are so good?? idk how that combo works out but it does and its beautiful. also dannys vocals in the chorus are mmmmm. so solid

‘fyi i wanna f your a’ im not even ashamed to say this is one of my faves tbh. its just. the glorious kind of weird and this is like one of my favorite examples of how well these nerds write lyrics tho? also such a hard song to learn the lyrics tho, but its so worth it, trust me lol. aLSO DAN HARMONIES IN THE SECOND PART GIVE ME SO MUCH LIFE HOLY SHIT

‘let’s get this terrible party started’ gets a special mention cause of the badass jams tbh. also the lyric ‘its a ninja sex party party’ gets me every fucking time. even after five years of listening to this song lol

oooof attitude city is so hard to pick just few songs from tho aaaa. but, as ive done about three from every album so far, lets try that with this one too. tho honestly just. listen to the entirety of attitude city its so good mmm. but. lets start with what i personally feel is the most underrated song on the album, ‘peppermint creams’. i dont think i need to say more than holy shit the emotions tho? especially in the chorus cause mmm. my heart

‘attitude city’ gets here too tho cause like. im personally very nostalgic for this song as it was the first real hype i had for the album so yeah. also its honestly just a really good song. also the video. includes dancing. and we all should know how i feel about dan dancing so mmmMMM im biased as shit i admit it

‘cookies!’ i wanna put this here cause it shows the how stupidly versatile these nerds are with their songs, cause this is badass and silly cute at the same time and hngg. also visually? demon!dan is way too much of a guilty pleasure. judge me all you want i donT CARE

..also i just gotta mention ‘samurai abstinence patrol’ cause of the vocal work. and just cause this song was in progress for four years before this final form and its beautiful honestly. also ‘danny french kissed a girl like he was the king of versailles’ will never get old to me gosh

I SWEAR IM DONE WITH ATTITUDE CITY AFTER THIS but also ‘6969′ is a must to mention. its an eight and half minute song but its just. amazing at everything. beautiful jams and awesome vocals. its gorgeous tbh, a masterpiece

‘cool patrol’. first of all cause apparently i “traumatized” one of my friends by making him watch the video to this and yeah. this is vocally one of my absolute favorites from them tho, dan sounds amazing in both styles, and its just. so positive and cute and aaaaa. its just such an uplifting song i love it

‘danny don’t you know’ cause this one made my cry the first few times i listened to it and its just. so relatable. also fucking beautiful vocals tho and yes the lyrics are personal which makes it even more emotional song. hnggg i love this so much tho cause it just. goes from kind of a ballad to a more of a rock song and its amazing. development similar to the story its telling

‘first date’ i mean. i gotta put my current fave song of theirs here, right? RIGHT? personally i love this cause its just a positive song, in a way i guess, but it stays true to the original nsp style and the lyrics are just perfect for their song about dating tbh. especially with how it just keeps getting gradually weirder and weirder. its just perfection hnggg i love this song. so much. god its so good (honestly tho if you give me a lyric like ‘i’ll take you back to your place and we’ll craft the perfect alibi’ idk how you expect me, a thriller writer, not to absolutely love this song to hell and back)

‘courtship of the mermaid’ idk how you expect me to make a list without this. the emotions in the vocals of this song are beautiful and its, again, hilariously absurd. as a mermaid princess i highly approve of this song

‘mansion party’ its so sad there will probably never be a video of this song cause they want to film it in an actual mansion and so far they havent mentioned that they got a chance to do that so mmmm. cause this song is so fucking banging it deserves a video honestly. the chorus is like. one of the few things in this world that makes me wanna dance. and also theres so many genius lyrics in this that its just pure gold all the way through tbh (also how do you smoke champagne? asking for a friend)

one more i swear, but the whole cool patrol album is so good hngg. but! ‘smooth talkin’’! in all of its absurdity is a must to listen to. its just what the title says, about how smooth danny is with talking to ladies. im not gonna explain more just. it goes as well as you’d expect at this point

‘everybody wants to rule the world’ this one makes me wanna cry every single time. its so nice and emotional and just. a+ vocals. its just beautiful

‘subdivisions’ idk what it is really with this song but these lyrics just fit together with dan’s voice so well its just. hnggg so gorgeous? i mean it might be cause its a rush song but also yeah. its so good

‘africa’ i mean i already told you, but his vocals are so nice in this and they fit into the style of the song so well. plus africa is a beautiful song to begin with so its a win-win really

‘pour some sugar on me’ cause oh boy my pal isnt this song just banging mmmmmmMMMMM

and for the finale! ‘heat of the moment’! like. everything about this song is just really good okay? the vocals and especially the music itself is like mmm i love it?? also the cowbell. idk what it is with that in this song, but it just. it sounds so good with dan’s vocals and aaaaa

..have i rambled enough? is this a good list?? literally just mmm anything from any of these bands is a good listen, these are just mostly my personal faves or what i feel like would be the best representations of what they are about!
