Does anyone happen to know of any good trans friendly doctors in Vermont ? I need a new primary and a gyno mostly and I just don’t feel comfortable with the office I’ve been going to anymore, especially now that I’m old enough to kind of need the gynecology aspect of it. Also if you live in Vermont can we kiss…. Lol jk. I know nobody even knows what Vermont is.
i cant wait to go to a queer bar when i turn 21. i cant wait to go to college, find my niche and be surrounded by a community i love. i can’t wait to make more queer friends who are like me, having struggled with gender and sexuality and feeling comfortable in my own body.
Being Bisexual is sooo cool we can be any gender and be attracted to any gender any amount, we lovvvvve women and nonbinary people and men and even if we only ever date or fuck one of those we are still Bisexual. We aren't "half straight, half gay", because that's not how sexuality works. Sometimes it feels like we don't have our own community but tbh that's because, the Gay community? We in there. The Lesbian community? We in there. Trans community??? We in there!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippee!!!!!
In the 1970's gay bars stopped serving orange juice in their screwdrivers. instead, they replace it with apple and name it the Anita Bryant cocktail. Not as a form of honor but rather as a boycott. Anita Bryant was the spokeswoman for Fresh Florida citrus and a staunch anti-LGBTQ+ activist. but with the switch from orange juice to apple, Fresh Florida citrus saw a stark decline in sale and so dropped Anita all together. in the following years, her life began to fall apart.

Sometimes I take my child to the pub. It is widely accepted that pubs are adult spaces (even if some make the effort to be inclusive of children, say by providing kids menus or a play area), and also accepted that children may be present, with some conditions. There are times and places children are not welcome. There are activities my child cannot partake in. And there is always the risk that my child may see something I would prefer it did not see.
When I take my child to the pub, I am making a decision knowing it has a chance of resulting in a negative experience. I am deciding the pros outweigh the cons and we take the risk. And most importantly, I shoulder the responsibility. And I do not demand they stop serving alcohol while my child is present. I do not demand that people not be affected by alcohol while my child is present. It is on me to ensure my child is safe.
This is not something that is debated. This is an accepted way of managing children in adult's spaces.
So uh why is it different when the space belongs to queers?
This happened this morning and I thought I'd share it with you guys (I'm pretty sure Okuyasu doesn't know about this account so please don't tell him about it!) Please help me out here >_<.
This footage is from my homes security footage (ignore the zoom ins and the music and the text, they're all super special security features implemented to celebrate pride month.)
How does my town, literally the gayest city in the entire state, not have a single queer bar? Like??? I haven't met a single straight 20-something since moving here, a gay bar would literally print money.
