Commissioned piece with concepts for "The Steel Many Faced God", an automaton from a bygone era that its people that made it have either died out or have forgotten how to build it. It now wanders the Underdark tunnels to which the local insane Derro, Kua-Toa, and so forth have dubbed it what it's known as. It's adamantine shell makes it highly resistant to magical damage and, as such, pummels mages into submission before absorbing their essence into its body, immortalizing their faces on its egg-like exterior.

Cha'ka, a monk(?) based off of Acromyrmex Lundii, a species of Leafcutter Ant originating from Brazil. Commissioned piece. I’m REALLY proud of the tree and environment overall, but it’s still a skill I need to brush up on.

The three phases of a Face Thief growing up into the terror that it is now, rending the flesh of its victims and adorning their skinned faces upon its own faceless visage. Painting skin complexion that was somewhat transparent was a super fun challenge for this piece, and one of my creepiest pieces yet! Commissioned piece for a WoW guild on Wyrmrest Accord.

Spellblade Lyrosen Daytear, a Ren’dorei wielding frost magic while also being handsome. I had fun playing with Color Dodge for this, and figuring out how to paint ice!

For one of my regulars, who wanted a gnollish, canine mutant undead creature thing that was a predecessor to one of the earlier creatures I did that had the bladed arm, bronzed armor, and unhinging jaw. To show it’s massive scale, that shield was scavenged by a Dwarf that it had, I imagine, mercilessly slaughtered. I had a ton of fun figuring out this guy’s anatomy, working on gore, and doing the shoulder pad design!

Another one for my regular who likes monster designs, this one being an Elven ranger who was recently infested by a worm creature-thing that’s turning her skin a ghoulish blue until she decays into an undead elven aberration.

For one of my regulars, a Mind Flayer that’s been tortured and subjugated to using arcane power against its will. It was hard to make an already lanky creature emaciated, but I had big fun with painting the texture of its sickly skin with light!

One of my friends says dumb things often and I draw him as this sort of Muppet, bug-eyed doofus. Additionally, let’s look at the original doge meme and get inspired.

A FFXIV commission for one of my regulars! This is their bunny girl tinkering by moonlight, her weapon disassembled. It’s been since my junior year of university that I’ve painted a moonlit scene, and it’s still tough as ever to do! I’m getting better and better, and I’m glad to have finally finished this piece so I can use the skills I learned from this to implement in future pieces!

Vardell, the Ren’dorei Warlock (yes, I get a few of these) whose metamorphisis ability is a mixture between the green fire Illidari and the blue / purple tint of the Void, pictured burning his way through Eversong Forest. It’s not my best work and clearly shows that I need to get back into working with environments, but I do like how I balanced out the composition and framed the subject within the environment. Also, damn I love painting felfire.

A Warforged Artificer commission that carries carver’s tools, a lockpicking set, and blacksmithing tools on his person. Also a little clockwork spider that acts as his way to cast Eldritch Cannon, where it otherwise sits nestled in his hand like a little Iron Man guy. Instead of the regular steel material, they’re made of Mizzium from the MTG universe, which honestly just looks like the technique of painting bronze, but with the saturation of gold. The client wanted “long fingers” so, against my better judgement... this guy has... l o n g   f i n g e r s.

Ivantis, the Ren’dorei Warlock! The client wanted two versions, one with and one without his mask. This was an absolute joy to work on, as well as the client is very cool and fun to be around! Painting the felflame was super fun and relaxing to do.

D&D commission from the Dungeons & Downvotes server from a regular client! They wanted a set of three behemoths for their campaign to throw at their players.
On the left is a mixture of an ogre and a goliath, with horns inspired by a creature from Dragon Age. Meant to look kinda like a monkey.
On the right is a mixture of a black dragonborn and a troll. It was pretty fun to showcase the acidity of the dragon and the regenerative properties of a troll, even if it was a bit of a weird mix of the two!
And in the middle was just total creative freedom.

What if the echo of Tharizdun, the Black Cyst, left structures across the world? Living, calloused cystic masses that congregate together like a forest of spores. The 5 sketches on the left were doodles I did while waiting for a RP partner to finish replying, and the right was from Saturday’s stream as a warm-up!

This massive living transport stretching close to 460 ft. in length serves a single purpose: Deliver death upon worlds, dropping wretches from its massive stomach and through either the maw hooking beneath its head, or through the smaller heads absorbed throughout its body.
