I rushed this one in like one hour. I typically don't watch the Oscar nominations, but I had to do it this year... for reasons. It is very nice to see non-English songs, and non-English movies, come this far.
im also heading into exam season right now so ill slow down a bit for now ✌️
I remember being so proud about the left one. It took me probably a couple of hours to draw it. The one on the right took me just over an hour in comparison.
It's important to look back on your achievements and see how far you've come. Who knows, maybe next year I'll draw him again.
"Then I would find the Holy Grail and drink from it!"
The main character from one of my University projects, at various stages of life. The different armours are very much realistic, and inspired by different centuries during Medieval England.
"Not salsa, not flamenco, my brother. Do you know... Naatu?"
Starting off 2023 strong with something I've never done before - Fanart. And it's this movie of all things. RRR has had me in a chokehold since I saw it a month ago, and it refuses to let go.
I decided that as a resolution to myself that I would be less strict with myself regarding art. All of this was done with a fairly big brush, from a distance, and I decided to be more... loose with it. Let's hope it lasts.
It's a pity that images lose some of their colour saturation when exported, but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. These are the main characters for a uni project of mine ❤️ and I told myself it would only be a few quick sketches
Anyway, due to ArtStation's latest stance on AI "art", I will cease to post there for the time being. I will still keep my art there in the hope they change, but I will not post anything new. As of now, it will only be found here, on Tumblr.
Another colourblind challenge, this time done using randomly generated colours from coolors.co. First done with a black-and-white filter to study the hues, with the colours revealed when finished.
I would love to be able to say exactly who this model is, but considering I found the photo on Pinterest, and Pinterest is notably bad with sources...
