Hello maggot! Well, it's, uh, somewhere in the mid 600s, followers wise. And the notifications are a lot, but yes, I go through almost all of them, even if I can't reply to them all. Clearly I miss a few sometimes (I only found out Neil Gaiman liked my post because some of you all were talking about it in the replies RIP but anyway what you all say is more important to me) but I'm trying coz everything you all say is so wonderfully sweet, though sometimes uh, crazy and mentally scarring, because this is Fandom. So it is to be expected.

It's definitely been... wild. Again, I only joined tumblr a few days before Christmas. But honestly? I joined tumblr to make friends and find a community, and maybe it went a little unexpectedly, since I didn't think I would create a community, but this is amazing. I love all of you maggots (why are you guys letting me call you that).

To be fair, chaos has always followed me wherever I go, I switched from science to arts because of Drarry fanfiction etc. But this is one of the strangest bits of chaos that I've fallen into.

It's crazy that my just being a clueless dumbass and slowly descending into fandom madness and crying over Crowley brings joy to people, but I always knew fandoms were sadistic, I mean uh, open to new recruits. And you guys bring me so much joy too. And tears. Yes a lot of that. Crowley my child.

I’m gonna be sharing my Owl House Wips and Aus for a while now that it’s over and I’m definitely hyper fixating on them. (I’m bringing this back lol)

The Children’s House AU

Eda basically turned her house into a mini orphanage by accident after she adopted her first human. She takes in witches and humans alike and takes care of them with the occasional help of her parents. Gwendolyn is much more active and has an easier time coming over compared to Dell who sometimes stays back at their family home when he can’t make the trip. Basically Eda grows to love kids and can’t stand to see any child in any unfortunate situation. They’re all one big found family.

Luz is her newest child who is the first that wasn’t technically brought in by someone, she wandered through the portal and convinced Eda to let her stay because she “didn’t want to be sent away.” And the story goes from there.

(We are not discussing the moral implications of taking kids without going through any legal processes. I wanted a huge found family and this is how I’m making it. Legality can screw itself.)

Another future prediction is that I imagine is Blaine adopting a child who went through the same abuse as him or at least had an abusive parent. Just so he can give them a better life.

Scenario:

Prince Blaine is having a casual walk through his kingdom…when all of a sudden a little girl around 6 to 7 years old runs into him! As he apologizes and goes to help her up notices very quickly that the poor thing is covered in bruises. Of course he gets suspicious but before he can say anything a very large man with bloody knuckles came running around the corner screaming like a banshee at the little girl before grabbing her arm and pulling her away. Completely ignoring Blaine, that is until he grabs the man’s arm and demands he let go of the little girl. They have a stare off for a good long minute before the man reluctantly let’s go and the little girl runs to hide behind Blaine. He asks her if she knows the man. She says that he’s her daddy but that he’s really mean and hurts her and that she doesn’t want to him as her daddy anymore. The father screams, yanks his arm from Blaine’s grip before shoving him away and making a move to strike the little girl! Blaine beats him to it! Giving the asshole father a good sucker punch to the face before taking the little girl into his arms.

“People like you should never be allowed to have children. Nor does any child deserve a parent like you. People like you make me sick.”

Blaine then called for one of his guards to arrest the father. As Blaine brought the little girl home with him.

“It’s ok you’re safe now, no one’s going to hurt you ever again.”

Long story short Blaine adopts her and she is spoiled like crazy by everyone!🥰

A piece I did for "Silent Flocks."

In "Silent Flocks," Shamura sees Jhula as their daughter, though the goat is completely in the dark about that. This image is a moment that happened after Baby Jhula is found in her destroyed village by Shamura and their warriors. Initially, they wanted nothing to do with her other than have the temple nursemaids raise her into another devout follower. But it wasn't long before they saw that Jhula is more than just a simple follower, as her sheer presence seemed to stabilize Shamura's mind and bring forth long-lost clarity for a time.

They kept her nearby for that clarity for a while, only for the infant to remind them of their siblings and when they raised them. After a long while, they decided to adopt Jhula as their daughter. Of course, that information is secret to EVERYONE, including the bishops and Jhula herself. For the bishops, they wouldn't understand the concept of one of their own adopting a mortal, even though Shamura was the one who raised them as their siblings. For Jhula, it was for her safety.

Shamura did put some distance between them and their daughter as she got a little older, but it was for her safety as she would be a target if anyone found out that she was their child. Still, they cling to the rare parent-child moments that are stored deep inside their mind. They also know about Jhula's nightmares and are currently seeking a cure for her.

No hate, but I am genuinely confused on why you are making a story with Kid Cudi daughter reader and making her white? I understand you said step daughter but there is not enough representation in this Fandom and it's upsetting to see a reader that should be of color being whitewashed.

You could have picked a number of celebrities to be the dad, and picking a POC and still using a white person is disappointing.

Okay, lemme clear some things out.

Ramona is adopted. I didn't whitewash anyone, because they are not biologically related.

Some adoption agencies don't really give you a physical choice in choosing a child. You have to be matched with a child, you can't just pick the greatest one out of the litter, especially when it comes to newborns.

There are questions that one should pass. Like are you fit to be a parent? Is your living space suitable for a newborn/child? Do you have any criminal records? Are you capable of caring for a child with special needs? These are the questions a hopeful adoptive parent will be asked, not what race you want or if you'd like a normal child.

In this story, Ramona is put in for a closed adoption. I really don't want to spoil more about Ramona and Scott's (Cudi) father-daughter relationship but, Ramona was matched with Scott and he instantly fell in love because of her name. Not by her looks, her name. If you're a fan of Kid Cudi, you'll know what I mean.

I'm adopted too, and I don't look anything like my parents. There are a lot of children who get matched with parents who aren't the same race. At the end of the day, no matter the color of anyone's skin, in my opinion, all that should matter is that you're willing and able to love and support that child or children and ensure they have a good home.

I fucking hate celebrations so much all it is, is a reminder of how unwanted I am. I mean fuck my own mother traded me in like a piece of junk as soon as I was born. There was no first milestones or mediocre talks about what your child’s been up to or how amazing it is that they slept through the night. In fact I cried every single damn night, at 5 I was crying myself to sleep while I waited for anyone to hear me.

Spoiler, I’m still waiting.

With my birthday coming up it’s especially hard, I literally have no friends and there’s the expectation of partying and having fun when in reality all I do is sit in my room day by day, alone and rotting away. I have no-one and even if I did have someone I’m not sure I’d even be able to really connect with them. Hell I can’t even tell my mum I love her or show her an inkling of affection because the fear of being rejected and losing that person is too much to even comprehend.

I mean how sad is it that at 5 I’d figured out that it’s easier to show you don’t care, so there’s no expectation and pressure, then to care. I learnt to live silently and thrive in my own pain and suffering because truly nobody cares, nobody fucking listens and I’m just so sick of everything.
