Growing up with the twins was an experience, you knew almost everything about them. Including the fact, Atsumu Miya didn’t want a kid, and that was fine. When you got pregnant as close knit friends with benefits, you weren’t going to force him be a dad, but you were surprised when his twin jumped in the moment he got the news.

This had to have been the most nerve wrecking thing you have ever done.

You and Atsumu sat on your couch in silence. He had been here for an hour already, and neither of you had said a word or even moved. When you first became friends with benefits you set some ground rules; neither of you would put sex over your work, the sex would not have any impact on your friendship, and third was that neither of you would get in the middle of each others potential love life. But this- this never crossed either of your minds.

“How far along are you?”

“eight weeks.”

“We’re.. are.. I don’t know-” Atsumu started, looking down at his shoes, “did ya stop your birth control?”

“No.” you answered, showing him the proof he needed without him asking. He knew you wouldn’t lie to him, but he would appreciate it none the less. “and you’re sure no condoms broke?”

“I’m sure.” He sighed, leaning back. “I don’t want a kid yn, I’m 22 and just became starting setter for MSBY.”

“Technically, you’ll be 23 by the time the baby would be born.” you teased, shrugging your shoulders. “However, I’m not going to make you be a dad. Maybe an uncle? Maybe help me when I need it as a good friend, but I won’t make you be a dad.”

“Ya know I would do that. I’m not gonna leave ya alone, neither would ma or Samu.” He looked at you, and he could see the fear in your eyes. “You don’t want to get rid of it huh?”

“No..” You held yourself, “I did talk with the doctor a little, and did some research and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared.”

“Ya body, ya choice. I’m sorry to have done this t’ya.”

“No Tsumu, I’m sorry this happened to the both of us.” You looked up at Tsumu who was just gawking at you.

“Ya have nothing to be sorry about, ya couldn’t get pregnant if it wasn’t for me. Like we said, we both took the proper measures, it just happened. Besides, if Samu heard ya apologizing to me, he’d beat ma ass again...”

“Again?”

“Yea. He didn’t like that I wasn’t plannin on stickin’ around with ya so he beat my ass yesterday.” the two of you shared a giggle, you didn’t expect Tsumu to abandon you, but- you guessed that was an option. Now you felt sick to your stomach, knowing he was thinking about it.

The silence was deafening, but the surprise hug that Tsumu gave you could have saved your hearing. It took a moment for you to wrap your arms around him, this isn’t something you thought he would have done. You knew he would be level headed for you, knowing that Kita is a threat should he not be. If he wasn’t scared of Kita, it was his own mother. She loved you after all.

“Can I talk to you about something else too?” He let go, and you wiped your tears.

“Yeah, of course.”

“I met this girl at the cafe the other day, and I’ve invited her to the game on Friday and to go out with us after. Are you okay with that?”

“Why wouldn’t I be?” You shrugged, “I know this...” you rubbed your belly, “Is pretty complicated but we agreed our arrangement wouldn’t effect future love lives. I can make an appearance on Bo’s hip for one night, he’d be pretty happy.” you laughed, Bokuto always wanted you to go to one of these events as his ‘date’ instead of as Tsumus even if it wasn’t really a date.

YOU’VE RUINED MY LIFE BY NOT BEING MINE — suna rintarou one-shot smau

as the self proclaimed honorary miya sibling (by you and the twins— since your parents and the miya twins’ parents were the closest friends, it ended up with their children being playmates). it was that one sunny day in the park when you became stuck with them ever since.

you’re one year younger so when you finally entered inarizaki and first laid your eyes on suna— osamu’s bff you’ve only heard about in passing. you fell. like literally slipped and fell because you were running towards the twins and when you saw suna you lost balance.

it was also the day when you declared you were going to be the love of his life.

suna was taken aback by your strangeness and only realized you were serious when you gave him a proper confession at the back of the school a week later when you claimed, “i’m going to make you fall in love with me.”

to which his reply to your confession was a shrug and a “you can try, but don’t hope for much.”

it’s been a year. and you’re still as determined as ever!

after the whole, chasing suna around the school and giving up after a few minutes and munching on a fruit sadly, suna came in and walked towards you and atsumu, pat your head and said “i was only teasing you.”

okay maybe joining the cheer squad was an impulsive decision, but hey! you were already alongside them every game and half of your friends were on it so you thought why not do that for your extracurricular this year! the outfit looked good on you, you cheer for inarizaki (suna), and bonus points that you’ll have fun— the situation offered absolutely no losses.

hitoshi and you were talking last week about how you’ve been trying to woo suna for about a year now and he asked if there was still no progress and you think about it and resisted the urge to refute his claims. suna and you spend a lot of time together, not that other people knew, even the twins (there are some things you prefer to keep between just him and you).

hitoshi mentions that he wants to help you, you both stare at each other and say “we should make him jealous!” at the same time. you were amused at the notion because you’ve never seen suna jealous before. hitoshi was just bored. the perfect formula of friendship!

suna and you constantly go out at least 2 times a week, and every time after-game, albeit a few hours after post-game eat-out. he’s the reason why you’re MIA when atsumu’s trying to tell you about the new manga releases that week.

suna acts like he doesn’t care about your advances on him most of the time in front of other people but of course, that’s only a farce. why would he tolerate all of your silly advances if he wasn’t head over heels for you too?

“so are we dating?!” you shout in hysterics through your phone where suna’s on the other line.

it makes osamu place his earphones in and atsumu glare at you while bashing suna on twitter. the three of you were on your way home after atsumu made a scene in the suna household 20 minutes prior.

“i’d prefer if we make it official in person, you know,” suna says groggily, having been woken up from his sleep by atsumu’s screeches.

“i can run back to your house,” you propose, suna chuckles while atsumu traps you in a headlock. osamu walks ahead and pretends he isn’t associated with you and atsumu.

Note :: this is either going to be a two parter or a three parter, im leaning toward a three parter but just to let everyone know, updating might be a struggle this week because i have classes for this one week from 8am-2pm EST and tuesday, my family is dragging me along to watch the barbie movie with them, AND friday is my last class but i work that day AND the next day, saturday. I’m also going to be so drained because we have a test at the end of every class day. sooo yippee but i shall try my best :) !!

-Y/n is so happy her best friend is tying the knot. She helped Atsumu and Kuroo plan every single part of their wedding so they could have the perfect day. Kenma is teasing, but he also made sure to give Atsumu the shovel talk of his life before giving his blessing. Kuroo actually asked Osamu to stand in as his best man along side Kenma. Over the years, the two friends developed a very strong friendship. Atsumu had already claimed Y/n as his best woman, and even though he loved Samu, Y/n was his best girl and he and Kuroo wouldn’t have gotten married if it hadn’t been for Y/n giving Kuroo the push he needed all those years ago.

-At the reception drinks were pouring. The wedding party was wild and Akaashi and Kiyoomi were the only two who had managed to keep their shit together. Everyone but Y/n knew Osamuw as going to propose at the reception. Atsumu threatened Osamu, gave him his blessing, and helped his twin plan it perfectly. Suna was on videography duty and managed to get tons of candid photos before and after the proposal. Osamu was scared Y/n would say no, but a talk with Mimi (She makes it a point to see Y/n and Osamu twice a month) gave Osamu the confidence he needed. Mimi also gave Osamu Y/n’s nana’s ring. Y/n bawled like a baby when Osamu opened the box and she saw it. Atsumu was in fact crying like a baby back bitch; but every one of their friends were too.

-Down the line, Osamu was in a comfortable enough spot that he was ready to open up a second location. Y/n sold her family’s company and with the profits she re-invested it back into Onigiri Miya. With the large amount of money, Osamu was able to hire a proper management team, advertising, and all the works so he could finally expand his dream. Onigiri Miya now covers a good number of the bigger metro’s of Japan and there’s one corner shop in most of the smaller prefects. Y/n and Osamu married after opening their fourth location in Osaka. They had their wedding there and Y/n asked Atsumu to give her away. They spent the rest of their lives laughing, learning, and loving. Osamu kept his promise and they shared the same love Y/n’s grandparents had for a very long time.

Looking back, Y/n wouldn’t have changed anything. Even now, years later sitting on her porch listening to Osamu and Atsumu bickering. They were all older now, but Y/n wasn’t worried. “Nana, it’s time to teach me the secret recipe!” A little voice shouted, causing Y/n to smile. Her son shook his head at the little girl, rolling his eyes. “Ma hasn’t even taught me or grandad the secret recipe.” He snorted, as his daughter stuck her tongue out at her father. “Well, that’s different.” Y/n quipped, moving to get up from her chair. “Sako’s my favorite.” Y/n teased, as her granddaughter took her hand. “Now, let’s get a move on. It’s almost lunch time and ya uncle is gonna whine about starving before we know it.” The old woman snorted, as the duo walked inside. In the entryway of the home was a photo from Y/n’s wedding day. It was filled with friends and family. Osamu had it painted, and standing next to Y/n was her own nana, a big smile on her face.

a/n: I wanted to release the first two, but due to work and several things I need to do before a specific date, I couldn’t finish the second one. I tried to do it today, but I had a migraine. I will release chapter two early if I can.

The car ride home was quiet, too quite. Akaashi played some music off his phone through the cars Bluetooth and letting it sit low but no matter what played it just wasn’t loud enough. You at in the passenger seat, buckled up with your knees to your chest and your face burried in your skin.

Akaashi had never seen you so scared. You always seemed, you were confident, and determined to make every choice a good choice or at least learn from the mistakes. It’s been that way for a couple years now, at least since hes known you. He made note of your phone, constantly going off from one of the group chats if not several that you were apart off and in his peripheral vision he saw you take out the battery and put it in your bag.

It took too long to get back to his and Bokuto’s apartment to his liking, parking the car and walking around. You took his hand, holding it firmly with your fingers intertwined while he brushed your hair. You started crying before he even got you in the house, by then you were a sobbing mess.

“Breathe, yn. Breathe.” Akaashi sat with you on the couch. He gave you credit where credit is due, you’ve been handling this well until you got to the safety of his apartment. You didn’t know if you through up from the baby or from the mass tornado of emotions in your heart, head and apparently your stomach.

“I’m trying Kaashi...” you sat back, fighting back sobs between broken breaths. You were so young, and just in your last year of college. This wouldn’t be the end of the world, but you didn’t know what to do. Thankfully you had a large support network, but everything could change you weren’t stupid. You told your friends first, and your sure the twins told their mom, or maybe not when you thought harder about it.

“We’ve been so careful! We always have condoms, and always pay attention to the expiration date. I’ve never missed an appointment in my life or anything for my birth control and we’ve been so careful to always plan around my ovulation cycles with that stupid app!” You counted on your fingers before tossing your hands in your hair. Akaashi took your face in his hands, getting you to focus on himself. You matched his breathing and soon you were content and no longer suffocating yourself. Akaashi was always so calming, and you would never take his friendship for granted.

Until you started thinking again. Maybe announcing it in the group chat wasn’t the best. Would you still be Kita’s favorite? Should you have waited? Probably.

“Hey! Hey! Hey! Bokuto is home!” Kou slammed the door open, surprising both you and Akaashi in a slight jump off the couch. He shut the door, and put down his bag, kicked off his shoes before turning to give you the big hugs he always did. Akaashi did tell him he you were there, but he stopped in his tracks when he saw your face. “yn..? What happened.”

“She got some very scary news today Bokuto.” Akaashi started, rubbing your back before standing. “She’s just trying to process it. I’ll get you some tea and some crackers..” Bokuto sat next to you in place of Akaashi, opening his arm and letting you rest into his chest at your own pace. After years of friendship and setting boundaries he knew when you needed a calmer, kinder, stronger presence and he was more than happy to be that in your time of need.

“Bo.. we’re good friends right?”

“You bet.”

“and if I happened to be involved in a big accident you wouldn’t stop being my friend?”

“of course not.. are you okay?” Bo looked down at you after pulling you from his chest, he took his sleeve and wiped your tears.

“I’m pregnant, and I don’t know what to do.” Bokuto didn’t say anything, he sat there, almost dumbfounded before pulling you into his arms again and laying down slightly with you on his chest. Next to Akaashi, you were one of his closest friends right now outside his teammates.

“He’s a dead man...”
