I'm Not Jealous... Well, Maybe a Little

Summary: How do they act when jealous? [Damn, 3 posts in one day? Wow. Popped this out in like 20 mins.] Characters: Katara, Sokka, Aang, Suki, Azula and Zuko

Katara

She doesn't take jealousy well

She'll pretend she's not jealous and bury these feelings

But they'll end up bubbling inside her and it'll come up in a fit of rage

When your back is turned, she'll attack the person that was flirting with you

You'll be none the wiser to what she did

She'll smile at you and you'll probably be confused

The person won't even see Katara coming or even know what she did

She watches in fury though, while the person hits on you

It definitely irritates her more that you don't realize they're flirting with you

Sokka

He's like his sister, by burying his feelings deep inside

He'll probably know his feelings are bad, but he loves you and it feels so right

He might challenge them to a fight, just out of nowhere

You'll be confused, but the person won't take Sokka seriously

Sokka would make an absolute fool of himself, as long as it meant he had your attention back

He needs your confirmation that you still love him

He'd take your pity over your distaste any day

Aang

He's the most passive about his jealousy

He's very extroverted and will join the conversation, turning the vibe off [at least hopefully]

If they don't, he will get a little angry

He'll control the conversation and the flirter can't do anything about it, because Aang is so likeable

He makes sure the hint is thrown out there, that they need to leave you alone

If they don't? Well, let's just say their house blew down, so now they don't have time to hit on you

You'll feel bad, but Aang will come up with an excuse on why you and the gang need to leave

Suki

Ugh, she gets so huffy

She is very forward though and will enter the conversation

If the person tries to push her out, she will get aggressive

She's very straightforward and will confront them, even if you're there

You think they're just being friendly and the flirter will use that to their advantage

"You're just being paranoid, I was just telling them about the town"

Suki will glare, knowing it's bull, but she quickly realized she was cornered

She awkwardly smiled and turn towards you, "The gang needs our help, we should go now"

You won't think about it much and wave goodbye to the flirter

As you both walk away, Suki will turn around, smirking while waving bye to the person

Azula

Oh, you screwed up bad

When she gets jealous, she gets violent [Though she gets violent a lot]

But, she doesn't know how to healthily express her emotions, or really just express them at all, so she acts out

She hates this feeling because she's used to be confident and adored

She hates when you even waste a second of your time on someone that isn't her

She deserves all your attention, why are you wasting a second on them?

She's mad at them for talking to you, but she's also mad at you for encouraging them

You'll have to calm her down, or she's killing everyone

Her fits of rage cause a lot of casualties

She then blames you for everyone that got hurt

"Well, if you hadn't been flirting with them, this never would of happened"

Zuko

Him and sister have anger in common

He wants to burn them into the ground

Make them suffer for making him watch

He's very annoyed, but doesn't know how to express his jealousy

He won't act out like a child, but he was glare and fire emits from his fist

Anyone can tell he's angry

He'll walk up to you both and glare at the person, before wrapping an arm around you and forcing a smile

"What are you guys talking about?"

You weren't really into the conversation, so you'll say nothing, but Zuko takes it as you not wanting him to know

Did you hate him? Wait, were you talking about him? Why won't you tell him?

God the anxiety eats him alive

He then begins regretting approaching you both. But you just grab him, before pretending to hear your name and pull Zuko along, saying something like "I think I heard Sokka call us. Let's go"

He'll apologize, but you'll laugh, and lightly punch his shoulder, "I didn't want to talk to them. They were so cocky. I'm so glad you saved me. My hero"

You kiss his cheek and he blushes a dark red and you'll continue to walk as he freezes

A wolf's love

You've known Sokka since you were little. Your father was the chief of another southern tribe and also a close friend of Chief Hakoda. Also, your grandmothers were friends in their youth.

You were a waterbender but you discovered this shortly after Kya's death so you decided to hide this ability. After the men left for war, your father left you in Kanna's care.

You became very close to Sokka, and Katara often laughed at your childish love for her brother. Sokka, on the other hand, adores you and has dreamed of you two getting married since childhood.

When Sokka and Katara brought Aang to the village you were skeptical but then you agreed with Katara hoping that you would be able to find a waterbending master.

You convinced Sokka to come with you telling him that you need someone strong to protect you.

When you arrived on Kyoshi Island, you and Sokka argued for the first time since you met. It was the first time you noticed how misogynistic Sokka really was. Sokka begged Suki to teach him to fight and even agreed to wear traditional Kyoshi clothes. You, Katara and Aang laughed but at least you weren't mad at him anymore.

Then came the meeting with Jet. Sokka will never admit to you how good he felt when he noticed that you also thought there was something wrong with that boy.You helped Sokka save the village.

The visit to the North Pole was a nightmare for you. The brothers found out you were a waterbender and were upset that you didn't tell them sooner. Katara soon gave up her upset being happy that she is not the last waterbender from the South. Sokka was extremely upset, first you lied to him and then you gave up on him to spend time with his sister. He won't admit it, but the fact that he wasn't a bender hurt him a lot. He decided to try to make you jealous by approaching Yue. But things did not go in his favor. After his kiss with Yue from Spirit Oasis, you decided to give up on the idea of a relationship with him.

Katara could no longer bear the horrible condition her brother was in, so she told you about his plan from the North Pole. To give Sokka a taste of his own medicine, you started flirting with Zuko. Katara thought you were a perfect match for her brother due to your extremely great talent for making plans (notice the sarcasm, please). You and Toph found Sokka's silly jealousy hilarious.

Sokka was absolutely crazy, what did that fiery head have that he didn't?!

During the Siege of Ba Sing Se you and Sokka finally confessed your feelings for each other. Sokka was happier than ever but that didn't last because you were seriously injured and lost a lot of blood. You've been unconscious almost as long as Aang. In that time Sokka was completely destroyed. He felt like his life was over and he swore that when you woke up, he couldn't imagine you wouldn't, he would do anything to protect you.

When you woke up Sokka exploded like fireworks. Even though you felt horrible, you struggled to give him a big smile. After that, things started to go downhill. Sokka had become inhumanly possessive and protective. You tried to talk to Katara and Hakoda but they told you that Sokka acts like this because he doesn't want to lose you like he lost his mother which made you feel like a terrible person.

When you arrived in the Fire Nation, Sokka followed you like a shadow. At Hama's inn he slept in the same room as you. When you found out that Hama was from the Southern Water Tribe something clicked in your mind. You asked if she had known your paternal grandmother. Her eyes widened when she heard your father's name. It seems that Hama was your grandmother, Sokka's grandmother's friend. That didn't make Sokka calm down and he almost attacked Hama with his sword when she tried to hug you. After Hama was arrested Sokka consoled you saying that you don't need anyone else when you have him.

After Zuko's coronation you and Sokka returned to the South while Katara and Aang had to stay in the Fire Nation. Although Sokka's protectiveness still bothers you, you were extremely happy when Sokka asked you to marry him.

But as heroes never have a simple life, your story has only just begun.

being with aang and the others was unlike anything you've ever experienced.

when you first met everyone you were scared- but they all welcomed you with open arms. katara emphasized with you, having her mother also die at the hands of the fire nation. sokka tried to flirt with you, which you were oblivious to, until aang and katara told him to knock it off. after that, you became like katara to him, like a younger sibling who'd he protect.

you were so naive to the world, never stepping foot outside of the fire nation before.

when aang had told you his story, how he was in a iceberg for 100 years and was the avatar, but more importantly one of the last airbenders- you could hardly believe it.

the more the gang told you their stories, the clear it became that the fire nation had took away your parents, your culture and your freedom. you knew azula was evil, but you still believed you had no other choice but follow her.

you told aang that you had no airbending ability, you thought you'd be discarded away, just for being useless

but aang did no such thing, just offering a smile and saying he's just glad he has someone from home.

and you did feel at home.

You woke up to shaking, and your eyes immediately lit up. For a minute, you were back in the palace. Azula waking you up so she could sleep beside you. It was when we were in our younger years and Azula would wake you up at odd hours of night, slipping with you under your blanket. You assumed it was because she had nightmares, you did too, but you never dared ask her about it, fearing you'd end up with a scar like Zuko's.

You woke up from your flashbacks and took in to the actual scene in front of you. It's Aang.

"What's wrong?" "It's someone. They're following, come on, we need to get onto Appa."

You all pack your sleeping bags and ride on Appa. It's still the middle of the night, and the cooling wind blowing past your hair is not making your exhaustion any better.

Finally you all spot a place to settle down, it's in a middle of a forest which will be hard for anyone to navigate through

You lay out your tents and sleeping bags again to finally rest. You find yourself somewhat missing Azula, when she would be nice for once and fall asleep beside each other until morning. You push back those thoughts, remembering how she treated you. If she really cared she'd let you go and be happy.

With all these thoughts swirling in your head, you don't notice yourself start falling asleep.

You feel a hand on your mouth causing you to snap your eyes open. There she is, Azula. It's only been a week and she's already found you. Your eyes look to where the rest of the gang were sleeping but instead they're gone!

"Aw, don't look so surprised. You really thought I wouldn't go looking for my favorite pet?" The nickname made you cringe and Azula removes her hand from over your mouth, but both her knees restrain your arms to the ground.

"Where's Aang, Katara and Sokka!?" You spit out, but you instantly regret when you see Azula's sly smirk turn to an expression of jealous rage.

"Really? I could kill you right now but you're more worried about your friends!?" Before you could reply, her hand slapped over your neck, squeezing around your throat. Perfect manicured nails dug into your flesh, practically leaching the breath you had left in your lungs out of you. Azula's eyes leaked of fiery rage, pure fuel and the truth is you've never seen her like this. She's dangerous, more dangerous than ever before but she is not as calculated. You knew that Mai and Ty Lee couldn't defeat the Avatar on their own so she must know that, but instead she came for you.

Still, your heart ached for your friends, the only true ones you've made all your life. You yourself felt a fire deep inside you, not as fiery as Azula's, but it was ignited when you first met Aang.

"Please.. don't hurt them." was all you could manage out before you start turning purple. Azula's face turned shocked, like she couldn't believe you care more about your friends than her. She dropped her claw-like grip on your throat, you let out a gasp of air before rolling to your side and coughing.

While you were coughing, Azula let go of your arms and stood. "(Y/N), they don't truly care for you. At least not like I do, look at what I have done for you! You really think a pesky water tribe girl, a non-bender and a 12 year old Avatar really care for you? Tell me, do you really think the Avatar would save you if you weren't from the Air Nation?"

You were on your side, refusing Azula to see your face. Was she right? It's true that Aang came for me because we are both air but Aang is a good person! He would definitely rescue me even if I were someone else.. right?

You felt Azula's hand cup your cheek and turn your gaze towards her. Her eyes now are half-lidded and the fire was just warmth now.

"(Y/N), please, come home now and we can forget about this. This is silly." She tucked a piece of hair away from your face, which would have been loving but all it made you feel was owned. Like you were a pet, something to leash and expect obedience from. You wanted to show her you were nothing like her, and she did not own you.

Without even thinking you smack her hand away, a surge of strength powering you as you stand up. You moved to shove away Azula but as you did so, a gust of wind flew her back more than 8 feet away from you.

What?

You look down at your hands and back at Azula wobblily getting up, pure shock but also confusion on her face.

You turn around, hearing a familiar girls voice calling you.

"Katara!" You yell, running back to her. "Come on, we have to go! This girl somehow took away my bending." The girl Katara was saying about sounded Ty Lee but you knew you had to get out before Azula fully recovers. You finally made it back with the others and flew away safely on Appa. You look down as fly away, Azula's form getting smaller and smaller by distance. Aang speaks, finally pulling you you of your daze.

"(Y/N), are you okay? How did you manage to fight off Azula?"

"I.. I don't know." The group looks at you with confusion but you're more confused than they are.

You were safe from Azula for now but you knew she'd be back for the Avatar, especially now since he wasn't the only Airbender..

And that's a wrap! Sorry it took so long, I got really busy and I couldn't figure out an ending I liked. Comment or request whether you'd like reader to fully escape Azula or not, or something completely different!

(p.s this is my first post, I'll allow critiuqes.)

They are probably the worst duo to have as yanderes.

They most likely met you in a buffet you own in Fire Nation.

They follow everywhere, mostly katara.

^If you were to catch them stalking you, Aang would probably say "It's just a coincidence that we're at the place at you".

I feel like they are the type of yanderes that are clingy, obsessive manipulative, and delusional.

They also have a hero complex, thinking you need to be saved.

Say if someone was flirting with you, the next day, POOF! they suddenly disappear.

Eventually, they'll confess and this can go two ways...

^ If you accept, amazing choice, but they will still kill for you.

If you don't.... they'll kidnap you, saying something along the lines:"We're doing this because we love you!" ''Katara's right, y/n darling we don't you get hurt out there."

One more thing, don't try to escape... they'll always find you.

Yandere concept with Hunter x Hunter.

Gon’s older brother is like future tom(from eddsworld). Like Reader has something over his eyes that changes shapes and symbols to represent his eyes(Idk what it’s called),he dresses formal,but he drinks not enough to be an alcoholic though. Reader’s Nen is basically him being like Katara from Avater with being a water bender and he can blood bend. If he loses constriction it will the the target free if he’s using blood bending or will cause the water he was using to dissolve. As long as he is thinking of one thing he’s safe.

Anyways back onto the stuff. Reader’s glasses(I’m calling them glasses idc) can malfunction and show videos of random people,places,or objects that will be needed in the future but it hurts Reader. When everyone saw how calm and chil reader was when fighting it impresses people,maybe Reader was an assassin but stopped for Gon’s sake. Reader is the same age of Leorie or Illumi but he’s an adult. Reader hates talking and will use a tape recorder but has talked on accident.

Maybe during the hunter exam is when people started to get attracted to Reader as how fast he got stuff done. Killua sees him as a dad because of how fatherly and worried he acts with him whenever he’s hurt causing Killua to get attached first,Leorie is second because of how helpful and how Reader let’s him use the same flask he just used but also how protective Reader is of him,Kurapika is next as Reader is the most sympathetic and listing person he’s met. Reader always comforts him when he can and protects him. Gon was already obsessed with his older brother because he looks up to him a bit to much.

Reader has history with all the Zoldycks because he use to interfere with their assassinations out of spite. So when Killua’s family hears that their son is buddy buddy with an Assassin that messes up their assassinations their pissed rightfully! (Expect Alluka,y’all are bff’s) Silva hates Reader for how he’s replacing him as a dad and how he fucks up their missions. Yet the whole Zoldyck family wants Reader as their own and in the family just like others want Reader for themselves

She doesn't understand why you get so mad that she only wants you to pay attention to her

Granted multiple people flirt with her, but she always shuts them down

She watches you and uses her abilities to get to high places to see you

If you're a bender, she uses her Chi Block on you

She's very giddy and loves being with you

She loves partying w/ you and taking you places

She doesn't want you to meet her sisters, in fear of you comparing them to each other

She wants to be herself with you

She's ecstatic and always energized

She always defends you when someone tries to make you look dumb

Unlike Mai, she would trade the other nations if they kidnapped you, because she loves you more than anything else in the world

Though, she is like Mai in the sense she'll betray Azula, because she loves you more than she fears her

Azula, Mai, Ty Lee, and Zuko

You were at first with Ty Lee

Though, you two were never official

You two just bonded better than the rest of them

Zuko and Mai became protective over you, seeing you repeatedly get hurt

Azula just saw you as stupid and she liked humiliating you

Zuko saw himself in you and wanted to protect you from Azula

^Mai was jealous at first, but soon realized you weren't enemies, but friends. You deserved to be protected from the monster that is Azula

You love Azula, because you've realized that she's never really had love in her life [It's more out of pity]

You go with them everywhere, though this gets you a lot hurt

They always get you, but then Azula becomes a little more anxious about letting you come

Azula would never tell you, but she loves you more than anything in the world and that scares her

Ty Lee just thinks your fun, but she doesn't really form a complex feeling for you. She just likes that you're fun

Mai and Zuko see themselves as your protector, especially against Azula. They kind of act like your parents, but they're both distant emotionally, but you definitely open them up

The GAang [Katara, Sokka, Aang, and Toph]

Katara was the first to fall for you, but not the first to tell you her feelings

It's probably Sokka who tells you

But you don't take it seriously, because he's a flirter

Toph is mean to you and is kind of like a big bully

Aang is nice and treats you like he's known you forever

You both just click so well

When Toph and Katara fight, you are brought into their fights, because they want you to be on their side

"I think Sokka is calling me-"

You don't want to catch that smoke

You're probably the most scared of Katara, she reminds you of a scary mother, but don't tell her, because she wants you to see her as a lover not a mother

It took you the longest to get close to Toph, because she has walls up and it's hard to get them down

You bring up her being blind and she get super angry and you quickly blush in embarrassment

^ You do try and watch it and be more considerate of her, but she also doesn't want you to treat her different. Just treat her like the rest. Once you do, she'll let you in

Aang and Sokka make fools themselves in front of you, because they're not good with crushes, no matter how smooth Sokka is

Though you do all get along better than the relationship with the fire nation group [Ty Lee, Azula, Zuko, and Mai]

You're very close and it's hard to break you apart

Okay so if you think these two are gonna get along?

They do not

Zuko insists on you being at his side all day

So does Katara

It doesn’t work well at all.

Plus! With Zuko’s schedule, and his need for you to be at his side it drives Katara practically insane.

She has her own schedule she thinks you should follow that doesn’t line up with Zuko’s at all.

She wants to be able to attend to you all day and have you sitting in a bed, ready for her to come back.

Zuko wants you to be sitting on his lap, or following him all day.

These two get in to constant arguments, i swear.

No one is backing down when these come to a head, it’s a screaming match.

Oh and i haven’t even taken into consideration where you’d live.

Katara would hate being stuck in the Palace, she’d much rather focus on making sure that the Southern Water Tribe recovers.

So she’s constantly trying to get you away from the Palace.

Which of course leads to the most common argument.

“Who gets to keep her?”

And neither of them are going to give you up.

(Both of them are fucking terrified of you not being around them, Zuko’s got abandonment issues and the last time Katara left someone she loved, they died)

So they scream at each other constantly.

You’re stuck in the middle, sitting on the softest silks and in the warmest furs that do nothing to comfort you.

It never comes to blows or bending, but

It seems like it’s just a matter of time before someone turns a room to ice, or burns one down.

At this point, you might as well be a glorified pacifier.

All you can hope to do if hug them, trying - desperately - to get them to compromise and to alternate months.

And soon, you won’t be able to even bring that up.

You see the way they lock eyes then, and it’s cold and hot again.

Good luck, these two are argumentative as hell.

Naive

The war had ended 4 years ago, but the world was far from perfect. You were one of the middle men of the Fire Nation. You felt that the war was useless, but you never stepped out of line. Although you were a strong bender, you ran away from a possible career in the army and chose to be a guard in the Royal Palace. Unfortunately for you, this was the beginning of your downfall.

Y/N pov:

I still remember the happiness I felt when Prince Lu Ten allowed me to work as a palace guard. I had always seen the young prince as a role model and I was sure that we would have a great time playing pranks around the palace. But then he left for the army and my world shattered. I was assigned as Prince Zuko's guardian and I swore that I would protect him with my life.

Although I got along well with Zuko, Princess Azula was a completely different story. Since the first day of work, Princess Ursa had tasked me with punishing her disobedient daughter. She knew that not even Ozai would try something dirty with one of Prince Lu Ten's guards. Ozai was evil, not stupid!

A/N pov:

You tried to be as nice as possible with Azula, but the little witch was doing annoying things just to get your attention. Fortunately for you, you escaped the palace once Zuko was exiled. You thought you would never see her again, but fate did not agree.

At Zuko's request, you agreed to supervise the psychotic princess. Although you knew you didn't need anyone to control the little witch, you accepted the help of 5 other capable benders. Azula was just as you remembered her, a broken person who would do anything for the slightest bit of attention. She never fooled you, no matter how hard she tried.

Y/N pov:

The prison was by far the sickest and most horrible I had seen. The prisoners were treated like worthless toys by the guards. I didn't care, the prisoners had committed more heinous crimes than I could count. But one day I exploded.

I was walking towards the princess's cell mentally preparing to force her to eat, when I started hearing screams. I rushed to the cell and almost broke the door. My blood started to boil at the scene in front of me.Two guards were trying to immobilize the terrified princess, and another was trying to tear her clothes. You gave in to your anger and destroyed two of them with a bolt of lightning. The next few minutes were a frenzy of blood, screams and flames.

When I regained control, I was in a dense forest with the princess.

Azula: are you ok Y/N? You took some brutal hits!

Y/N: why do you care? Shouldn't you kill me and run?

Azula: We both know you're the only person I wouldn't kill.

Y/N: so you can be honest? surprising!

Azula: You know very well that I never lied to you! You lied to yourself all your life! For once, be honest with yourself Y/N!

Y/N: to be honest with myself? Sure! I am an idiot! I've always been an idiot! You know why? Because I always let you destroy my life!

Azula: Maybe if you had seen from the beginning that we were made for each other, now we would rule the world together! But nooo! You had to run away with my idiot brother! And don't think I didn't find out about your little business with that bitch!

A cold shiver ran down my spine when I saw her demonic grin.Suddenly everything made sense. The way she always seemed to watch me from the shadows, the fact that Ozai had allowed me to stay in the palace even after exile, all my friends were horrified by the thought of staying in the same room with me. All this time I was being manipulated by a girl 10 years younger than me! Azula starts laughing and clapping.

Azula: Yes! I knew you were a smart boy!

Y/N: stay away from me!

Azula: oh come on Y/N! What will you do? You are a criminal now! welcome to the family!

Y/N: you are crazy! You are a monster! Iroh was right! You must fall!

Azula: No, I don't have to! What I have to do is prove to you that you cannot survive without me!

Y/N: what? Azula! Don't you dare hurt me!

Azula: don't you dare leave me ever again! You are mine, we are made for each other! And don't you dare to lie to yourself! We all know you would never kill me! no one will save you from me!

Y/N: when Zuko finds out we're missing...

Azula: Zuzu? Oh dear, you are so naive! He sent you into my clutches! My dear brother didn't want to lose me, after everything that happened he still loves me! How much were you worth to him? A promise! All I had to do was promise to take my meds, not try to kill again him and blah blah blah

Yandere! Katara x Waterbender! Reader Part 2

You pushed the last of your personal items into your pack as you prepared to leave the Southern Water Tribe for good.

Your plan was to hide out in the abandoned Fire Navy ship until Katara, Sokka and Aang were gone. Then, you'd lay low and look for your father.

You sighed and pulled the picture of him out of your pocket. You were supposed to stay with Katara's Gran Gran to help raise the children who had fathers at war, but with the threat of Katara kidnapping you, you couldn't play it easy.

You made your way to the Fire Navy ship under cover of darkness with only a gas lamp to light you way. You shivered and pulled your garments closer to your body, cursing the fact that you were not a fire bender.

“(Y/n)? What are you doing?” You an urgent voice called from behind you.

No no no no no, you silently cried. It wasn’t supposed to happen like this. You were supposed to disappear until it was safe for you to leave... not get caught by the very girl you were running away from.

“This isn’t funny, you know. You can’t keep running away from me, (y/n). I-I love you,” Katara confessed as she appeared next to you.

“Katara, I can’t keep living like this. Getting dragged around wherever you want to go. I want to wait for my father and find a nice waterbender to settle down and have a family with,” you explained.

“I’m a nice waterbender! Settle down with me!” Katara yelled as the faraway waves increased in size, violently crashing against the ice.

“Katara, I don’t love you like that. I don’t want this life with you,” you said firmly.

“I wish I could say I’m sorry, (y/n), but this just has to be done,” Katara said solemnly.

And before you could process what she was saying, your entire world went dark.

🦴They kept you captive because 1 you were a firebender and 2 they all seemed to like just the existence of you

🦴You put up with it of course. You were a warrior under Prince Zuko but they raided your base and took you

🦴Katara kept you in a water bubble so you wouldn't think of burning your way out and Toph held you with rock cuffs just to stay more safe

🦴Then it hit you. You had to win these peoples trust. That was the only way out.

🦴You got close with Sokka and Aang they were the easiest. They adored you especially Sokka.

🦴Then they would start letting you sleep nearby without the bubble. That was your chance so you ran.

🦴You ran to the nearest fire nation base. They recognized you and instantly started asking questions. You didn't answer. You were going to leave to unite with the Prince in the morning.

🦴So you slept peacefully for the first time in a long time.

🦴Then you woke up the next morning. You walked out of the tent and saw blood everywhere. All of the people with you dead.

🦴Then you felt rock encase you locking you and preventing you from moving. You yelled out seeing no other than Toph. She raised you in the air seemingly staring at nothing.

🦴"Your coming back immediately. Your glad I didn't do worse. Ooh they are going to love this"

Katara hums in thought while your head laid on her lap. You were burning up and somewhat delirious and the waterbender knew that she should try to heal you, that you being sick was wrong but you weren’t fighting. Weren’t calling her and Aang ‘monsters’ and ‘just as bad as the fire nation’. It felt freeing to be able to hold you like this and it gave her some kind of sick satisfaction to take care of you. Maybe now you would see that you needed them. That you couldn’t be on your own. Maybe you’d finally love her.

Aang was on the opposite side of the spectrum. His entire trip to get frozen roads was tainted by worry and anxiety. What if something happened while he was gone? What if your fever got to high or-or. He tried to calm down knowing that thinking about that would only make him feel worse. The worse he felt the closer get got to abandoning the toads and going back to you and Katara. He couldn’t do that...you needed him. He wanted you to be well as soon as possible. Sure you’d likely go back to fighting but he really didn’t mind. As long as he could watch over you he didn’t mind you not loving him.

Katara and him often argued about it and you were left to defuse it before anything too destructive happened. You felt Katara shush you and stick something in your mouth. Then you could faintly feel a breeze as she...waterbended? The ice from the frog melted almost as soon as it touched your tongue. Not even frozen long enough to ease the pounding in your head or your fever a bit. The last thing you heard before slipping into a dreamless sleep was Katara promising to heal you eventually. Your very last thoughts were of how corrupted she was, wondering if her entire plot was to make Aang feel the same way she did and quiet resolutions that you would never love them.
