Canonical Batfamily Birthdays
Here are all the birthdates I know of that are canon somewhere in DC, with a preference for the main comics continuities. I have included exact sources and image references when possible. I am not including character introduction dates, just actual birthdays.
If you find any other sources for Batfamily birthdays, please do share!
A moment of silence for Batfamily characters who don’t have canonical birthdays yet, so far as I know. This includes Damian Wayne, Stephanie Brown, Duke Thomas, and more. :(
Summary
Source images will be further down, but here’s an overview in roughly age order (I’m not sure of Kate vs Selina’s ages) with the dates the birthdays were introduced and used:
Tim Drake: July 19th (from 2003)
Jason Todd: August 16th (from 2004)

Tim has only been given one canon birthday. He turned 16 on July 19th in Robin Vol. 2 #116 (cover date Sep 2003).

Jason Todd
Jason turned 18 on August 16th in Detective Comics #790 (March 2004). This is his only canon birthday.

In post-Crisis/preboot (1986-2011) continuity, there was a gap of six months between when Jason died and when he was resurrected (Batman Annual 25). Jason died April 27th according to his death certificates in Batman Annual 25 and Batman Files 2011, so he would’ve resurrected near late October.

So, it could be that post-resurrection Jason is biologically 6 months younger than he chronologically should be. But honestly, do we even really know what multiverse-breaking resurrection punches and then a Lazarus Pit on top of that do to someone’s body??? Either way it’s just much more simple to just use his chronological age.
Cassandra Cain
Much like Tim and Jason, Cass has only ever been given one birthdate: January 26th from Batgirl Vol. 1 #33. With that birthday, she turned 18 in Batgirl Vol. 1 #37.

When Jan 26th actually comes, Bruce suggests David Cain could’ve lied about it, but Cass denies that idea and continues to treat the day as her birthday.

Why it's likely her real birthday: Bruce initially believes Cain must’ve lied because he doesn’t think Cain could’ve known her birthday. However, we later learn Cain had lied about her origins and was actually her biological father. Batgirl v1 #62 and #73 show he was there for her birth and could absolutely know the date.
On top of that, in Batgirl #37 Cass remembers celebrating her birthday with him as a child, so he did seem to actually keep track of it. I honestly don’t see any reason to believe he’d lie (Bruce is just a jealous spoilsport).
Helena Bertinelli + Wayne
I’m combining them here because the New 52 gives me a headache.
Helena Bertinelli celebrated her birthday on February 14th in a spin-off comic from the animated Batman: The Brave and the Bold series. This is obviously not part of regular comics continuity and the characters differ from the usual comics in many ways. And yet, for reasons that will soon be clear, it’s my favorite for actually being about Helena Bertinelli the Huntress and for not being an utter mess.

In a character profile at the end of Infinity Inc. #7 (Oct 1984), Helena Wayne’s birthday was September 7th, 1959. Calculating back from October 1984, that would make her 25 at the time.
During the New 52, Helena Bertinelli was initially portrayed as a long-dead (secretly alive but don’t worry about it) mobster’s daughter and replaced by Earth-2’s Helena Wayne who got stranded on Prime Earth. This H. Wayne stole H. Bertinelli’s identity in the form of several forged passports and IDs, which had hints toward birthdates. The question is, can we take any of those birthdates seriously, and if so, which birthdates and for which character? (Cue my headache.)
Skip ahead to Dick if overthinking fake passports sounds boring.
When comparing to a real Italian passport, the date on H. Wayne’s fake Italian passport appears to be a birthdate. Note that the fake name is Carol Bertinelli, not Helena. H. Wayne said her IDs were inspired by H. Bertinelli but clearly she’s taking liberties for the IDs so that’s a point toward these being useless for H. Bertinelli birthdays.

Huntress Vol. 3 #1 (Dec 2011)
I don’t recognize the month abbreviation as a real abbreviation, but from the visible letter O I’m going to assume it means October. If it is, then the date is 20 October 1985. Sidenote: a 1985 birthdate during 2011 could put her age at about 26, which is actually quite close to how old she could’ve been based on pre-Flashpoint! 1985 has been given as Helena Wayne’s death year before, so it’s an interesting choice of a birth year for her. (Thanks to DC’s sliding timescale, though, birth years don’t actually mean anything in the comics.)
They don’t show her complete US passport, but I can see a “22” in line where the day of the month should be for her birthdate. This already contradicts the previous passport. This one uses Helena Bertinelli’s actual name, though–does that make it more relevant than the Carol one or this all still ridiculous because of the discrepancies?

We can try to glean the US passport birth month from the passport number at the bottom. The first two digits (“12” here) indicate the agency that issued the passport. 12 means the Honolulu agency. Right after “USA” is supposed to be the birthdate plus an extra number, in the order of year/month/day with the year being the last two digits of a year. Here we encounter another problem. It says 810228. This would imply her birthdate is 1981/02/28. That’s February 28, 1981. Since the earlier line indicated her birthday fell on a 22nd, this already contradicts itself.

However, I’d bet comic writers and artists aren’t always well versed in passport numbers (it’s already a stretch for me to bother checking it…). If they put the extra digit before the birthdate instead after, and the date is formatted month/day/year (the most common format in American English, so probably their first instinct), then we can drop the first 8 and it’s 10/22/8[?] with the last digit unknown. This would put her birthday as October 22, sometime in the 1980s. The 22 matches the earlier line, the October might match the previous passport if that really did say October (but contradicts the 20th), and the 1980s year could be 1985 to match the Italian passport.
At the end of the day I’m personally just going to let Helena Bertinelli be a Valentine’s born baby and call it a day, unless/until she gets a better one in the comics. For Helena Wayne I’d easily pick September 7th.
(My question is: did they give the crossbow vigilante a Valentine’s birthday as a Cupid joke??)
Dick Grayson
Dick has probably had the most birthdays of everyone (unless Bruce has more I don’t know about). All of them have their drawbacks.
In a main comics continuity, his most popular and most recent is “the first day of spring” so probably March 20th. This comes from Robin Annual 4 when his mom says she calls him Robin because he was born on the first day of spring. That presents some problems since there are other explanations given for the origin of “Robin,” including that his mom said he was “always bobbin’ along” (Dark Victory #12, page 17) or the original inspiration of Robin Hood (Detective Comics #38, p3).

Before that, in Secret Origins Vol. 2 #50 (Aug 1990), Marv Wolfman wrote a version of Dick’s origins where Dick turned 10 a week before his parents died on Halloween. That would make his birthday October ~24th (presuming that “a week” before Halloween literally means 7 days here).

The first drawback of the October birthday is that it’s tied to Dick being 10 when his parents die on Halloween. Dick’s age and the date his parents die change a lot depending on the writer (Nightwing Vol. 1 #1 says his parents died June 27th, Dark Victory #8-9 says May, etc.). The second drawback is that few people remember this version of his birthday even exists.
Dick’s birthday is November 11th in Super DC Calendar 1976. Note: Despite being a non-diegetic calendar from almost 50 years ago, this source remains well known and used among comic enthusiasts (including those working at DC). Generally, I would say it should mainly apply just to pre-Crisis continuity, but it is also useful for characters that haven’t gotten updated birthdays ever since (like Roy Harper, Barbara Gordon, or Selina Kyle, for example).

Sidenote: Since Damian doesn’t have a canon birthday, November 11th is favorite to steal for my own fan canon Damian birthday. Dick has plenty birthdays to share and I think it’s cute. @ DC, give Damian and Steph birthdays, they’ve been birthday-less for decades!
Indeed, DC writer Tim Sheridan and editor Mike Cotton debated whether Dick’s birthday was in March or November. They favored March 20th and wrote a birthday scene in Teen Titans Academy #1 (published March 23rd, 2021). The publishing time near Dick’s birthday was intentional, though the date isn’t mentioned within the comic itself.

The above birthdays were all meant to apply to a main comics continuity at some point. However, Earth-16, better known as the animated Young Justice universe (therefore outside of main comics continuity), says YJ Dick’s birthday is December 1st.

Since then, the only time I recall her birthdate hinted at is in Secret Origins #20 when her adoptive mom says her birthday is in the fall. This could support her birthday being September 23rd.

Although she has celebrated her birthday on panel since then (the end of Nightwing Vol. 2 #153), she hasn’t been given any other actual birthdate. So I’ll keep September 23rd and call it a day.
Selina Kyle
Super DC Calendar 1976 says Selina’s birthday is March 14th. Once again, although it hasn’t been mentioned within a comic, it’s stuck around in popular consciousness (see: Catwoman actress Zoë Kravitz wishing Selina a happy birthday on March 14th).

Selina celebrated a birthday on panel in Catwoman (2002) #37 but the date was never mentioned. I don’t know of any other reference to her birthday, but my reading of Selina is thus far more sparse than my reading of the others.
Kate Kane
Kate’s birthday options all come from outside of the comics themselves.
In “An Un-Birthday Present,” season 1 episode 11 of Batwoman, a parallel version of her twin Beth had a driver’s license showing her date of birth as January 26, 1990. She and Kate later celebrated their birthdays on an episode aired Jan 26th, 2020. I don’t keep up with live action DC shows so I unfortunately can’t offer a screenshot (if anyone has one or the timestamp, please let me know!).
(I kinda wonder if somebody looked up Batwoman’s birthday for these episodes, saw Batgirl’s (Cass’s) birthday, and just ran with it. Batwoman and a Batgirl sharing a birthday is just. Ughhh.)
In 2012, one of her comic writers tweeted to choose a random date for her birthday and picked March 21st, which so far as I know has never been used as her birthday in comics.

Bruce Wayne
Bruce’s most popular birthday is February 19th, but his most recent one is October 7th from the digital-only comic Legends of the Dark Knight. I believe that’s the only time October 7th has been referenced, but I’ve heard the animated show The Batman said his birthday was in October (can’t confirm, haven’t watched it recently).

Still, even associates of DC seem to remember his February 19th birthday better. In February 2023, Warner Bro’s Gotham Knights game did a sale for Bruce’s birthday. I’ve also heard the birthday was used in the Gotham TV show, but again, I don’t watch much live action DC shows.
The February 19th birthday appears to come from the 70s and 80s. It’s his birthday in the Super DC Calendar 1976, and in Batman Family Vol. 1 #11: “Suprise, Suprise!” (May 1977). Bob Rozakis (known as DC’s “Answer Man”) said Feb 19th was Bruce’s birthday in the letter column of Detective Comics #494 (Sep 1980).

Way back in the 40s, his birthday was in April, possibly April 7th. During a birthstone murder mystery, Bruce says his birthstone is a diamond, which is traditionally the April birthstone.

Star Spangled Comics #91 (Apr 1949) might imply the exact date was April 7th but we’d have to assume the party is on his birthday and that “this month” refers to the publishing month of April. I believe this is where people get the April 7th birthday when they bring it up.

Early April also shines in Batman: Year One where it shows Bruce’s first night out as Batman being either the night of April 6th or the early morning of April 7th (Batman #405). So although the April Bruce birthday hasn’t been used in decades, it’s still a Batman birthday in a way.
I have also heard people say Frank Miller considered Bruce’s birthday to be in November. However, I have yet to find an original source of him saying that, and honestly (just like the “March 21st” birthday for Kate) if he never used it in any canon material I don’t put much weight in that.
Jim Gordon
The only birthday I’ve ever seen for Jim is January 5th from Super DC Calendar 1976.

In the Injustice: Gods Among Us universe (an alternate reality where the video game of the same name is set in), they show Alfred’s birth certificate, where it says his birthday is August 16th, 1943.

Maybe you’ll notice that August 16th is Jason’s birthday. A little funny considering the issue features Alfred refusing to share his birthday only for us to learn it’s the same date as Jason’s. Still, annoying. There are so many days in the year! Stop choosing the same ones!
This Alfred birthdate runs into a similar problem Helena’s birthdates did: it’s not part of main comics canon, it’s an alternate universe, so it may not be applicable to the main comics universe.
Note: if we calculate that 1943 birth year from Jun 2016 when the comic was published, that’d make Alfred 72 soon to be 73. Does that mean anything in canon? Probably not, but oh well. Also...token British character born by Windsor Castle? …of course.
Personally, I would rather go with the April 8th birthday than the Injustice one, since Injustice is an alternate universe. Also, outside of the humor of it, the idea of Alfred and Jason sharing a birthday is a bit too much for me. Still, it’s up to people’s own cherry picking.

i think to talk about jim gordon properly u have to look at the role police take in superhero fiction, which is a complicated topic but i will endeavour to summarise
firstly, we live in an age where the copification of media, whether it be comics, crime tv, true crime junk, etc, is very popular. think about how cops are depicted in the neo-noir detective thrillers batman ostensibly borrows from — bumbling, stupid, and malicious — vs how they’re portrayed in the modern context as an crucial force for good. think about spiderman cooperating with the police in the insomniac games, and how out of character that is for him. since when has he ever given a shit about what the police tell him to do? let vigilantes actually be vigilantes! they’re vigilantes because they’re acting against the oppressive societal structure upheld by the police!
it should not be a controversial statement to say that the police, that armed forces as an institution, will never be a societal good because they do not exist to be good for society — they exist to protect the wealth and property of the already powerful. the idea of the “one good cop” is funny because in reality the one good cop never lasts long — either they’re relieved of service for exposing corruption, killed on the job, or succumb to the same corruption that is foundational to the system. even cop fiction that tries to deconstruct this (b99 as an example) fails, because the system itself cannot be deconstructed and rebuilt, it must be changed entirely and replaced with something better.
so where does that leave jim gordon? ideally, an endpoint for bruce’s crusade would be the abolishment of the gcpd and the introduction of a community oriented emergency service designed to actually help gotham citizens. no man’s land has many flaws, but one of its most egregious is leaning too far into the thin blue line nonsense of gordon’s storyline, rather than emphasising the strength in community for those left behind by the earthquake.
i like gotham central as much as the next person, but i think making the bats more affiliated with cops is a mistake. for every amy rohrbach and jim gordon u have the truly horrendous dick grayson cop storyline, u have that time gordon was batman, etc. gordon’s dynamic with bruce is really interesting (thinking about how working with bruce has essentially tanked his career) but as a whole id have an easier time giving a shit if they could actually take the time to imagine a future worth having.

Civilian!Bruce AUs are always kind of an interesting topic to discuss because everyone wants to talk about how that might work (what job does Bruce have? Are the kids still vigilantes? What does life in Gotham look like in this universe? etc) but few people ever really talk about the practical logistics of "how does Bruce even meet his kids in an AU like this?" since half of them only ever become involved with Bruce through his activities as Batman
Dick and Jason are ultimately easy enough to sort through, because their introductions to Bruce happen in ways that are very easy to integrate into a world where Bruce isn't Batman: Bruce and Dick's meeting largely goes exactly the way it does in canon and Jason's first meeting with Bruce goes largely unchanged (Bruce going to lay the wreath in Crime Alley on the anniversary of his parents' death and Jason jacking the tires off his car) except Bruce is Bruce rather than Batman.
Cass, meanwhile, is running around Gotham during No Man's Land and gets picked up by Jim and Barbara Gordon, so her introduction isn't too hard either...though justifying Bruce becoming Cass's adoptive father in a world where he's not Batman would be extraordinarily difficult. It's more likely Babs would adopt her at some point, so they'd know each other through Dick and Babs.
Tim and Damian are the really sticky ones here, because in a world where Bruce never became Batman Tim has no reason to ever get involved with the Wayne family in the first place and there's no reason for Bruce to ever meet Talia al Ghul and eventually have Damian. You could theoretically budge Tim in via Bruce meeting him at occasional high society functions once he gets a bit older, but Damian is still largely impossible in a world where Ra's isn't gunning for Bruce to be the heir to his empire
......unless Bruce is a doctor, like his father. Because little known fact about Talia: she was originally introduced as a med student at the University of Cairo:

Today marks the 50th anniversary of the publication of Marvel Premiere #15, which hit shelves on February 19th, 1974! (The cover date of May 15 indicated when the book should be taken off the shelves.) This anthology series served as a testing ground where creative teams tried out new characters and storylines to gauge their appeal. One such character was Iron Fist/Danny Rand, who first appeared in #15 and stuck around for ten more issues until proving popular enough, both here and in his guest appearances in the Deadly Hands of Kung Fu magazine, to earn his own solo comic in 1975.
This was a time when martial arts were exploding in popularity across the U.S., and Marvel leapt onboard the trend with new characters like Shang-Chi/Master of Kung Fu, the Sons of the Tiger, White Tiger (Hector Ayala), and Iron Fist. These characters were a departure from Marvel's standard superhero fare; they were martial arts heroes first and foremost, directly inspired by kung fu films and famous contemporary masters like Bruce Lee, Jim Kelly, and Chuck Norris, and with stories heavily focused on beautiful, thrilling, technically precise fight scenes.

This sucker-punch of an introductory issue flips breathlessly back and forth between nineteen-year-old Danny Rand's fight to survive the ritual Challenge of the Many and the One, and his flashbacks to the horrors he experienced as a nine-year-old child when, high in the mountains, he watched his parents die. The issue doesn't have room to introduce the dragon Shou-Lao the Undying (that epicness is saved for Marvel Premiere #16), but it introduces the world of Marvel's K'un-Lun and several of its key players, and teases the core premise by culminating in Danny's first time using the power of the Iron Fist. It's an explosive introduction to a character and corner of the Marvel universe that has only grown richer, larger, and more exciting over the past 50 years.

I get that The Black Mirror was meant to show how Dick continued on as Batman after Bruce came back but I think it would have been cool to see Cass in the leading role in that story. Dick could still be in it and take on a role like the one Tim had (and Tim can just chill or hang out with Bruce or whatever). Would Cass give a go at being Batman in this AU? Perhaps. I just think it would have been interesting to see Cass in this situation, especially with the prominence of the Gordon family in this story line. Also, it would be more meaningful to see Cass approach cases for the most part independently once again.
More points: 
I’m basing this off of the fact that Cass’s introduction was tied to the Gordon family and Barbara acted as a sort of surrogate mother for Cass. 
I think in this AU Cass would have to have had some sort of continued contact with Jim Gordon so as to be slightly more integrated into their family, though she would be legally a part of Bruce’s family (she would be the connection between Jim and the Wayne Enterprises lab).
Cass may struggle in a way with understanding James Jr.’s intentions and body language but also may pose a unique threat to him not only because of her own uncertainty about him, but also as an unknown variable within his family.

saki i'm sorry i don't know much about DC comics, but i have been confused about something recently when seeing fan comics — are Bruce and Two-Face (Harvey?) still friends post-whatever happened to him? I think they were friends before, maybe, but some fanon has been suggesting to me they might still be, so I was wondering about that. Opinions on him, too, maybe? I know fuck all about him but he's so quirky
i wouldn't say they're... still friends exactly. let's do some background real quick.
i think the really sweet and close friendship bruce wayne and harvey dent had prior to his acid attack, that inspires a lot of fancontent — is from Batman: The Animated Show. in this iteration of their history, they're close friends who obviously mean a lot to each other, which is why the guilt batman feels for two-face is only more painful.
(of course in much earlier comics and harvey's original introduction (detective comics #66) bruce and harvey are friends too. though, it's not often referenced as his origin much anymore.)

in the comics however, the friendship starts and unfortunately ends with batman. batman, (captain) jim gordon, (DA) harvey all work together to try and solve the case in Batman: The Long Halloween.
they grow close and personally, i think bruce was really starting to form a close bond and trust with harvey throughout their partnership. this really shines through when after harvey becomes two-face (which is a long and sad story), bruce still has somewhat of a belief that harvey can still be good.
though, we know now that two-face ends up having a permanent spot in gothams rouge gallery, but i suppose it's because of this history of trust that batman continues to encourage harvey to turn his life around (a sentiment he has with a lot of his rouges, but something that is especially prominent in his relationship with two-face).

as for what their origins are in the new 52? i have no idea! moving on.
for what their relationship is like currently;
the most recent interactions i think they've had is in ram v's current Detective Comics run (which is FANTASTIC) and out of all the harvey and bruce comics i have read, it is probably my favourite. they're not even the main focused relationship, but it is such an important one for the theme of this arc.
in this run harvey is at war with himself, struggling between being 'good' and being 'bad' — but also struggling to simply have a choice at doing either. bruce is also facing a similar turmoil. so we see this really wonderful parallel in the midst of a battle where harvey is debating whether or not he wants to save bruce or leave him to die, and bruce is battling whether he wants to give in or keep going.

two-face does end up saving bruce. this is something very important to both of their characters.
it shows bruce that the man he befriended is not lost and it gives harvey a sense of autonomy that he's been stripped of for a long time. it's a short but very moving subplot about hope.
that being said, harvey isn't doing this because he wants to be friends with bruce again. or well, two-face isn't. it's complicated.
i don't think i could do the writing justice (there is also like, an insane overarching plot going on). once he drags bruces half dead body to safety, he threatens him, leaves bruce there and is currently, on the run.

so friends? not really. enemies? also not exactly. really tragic story about missing someone you once knew, wondering if you ever really knew them in the first place? ABSOLUTELY.
there is also some insanely obvious queercoding taking place in their story, but i focused on their friendship side of things.
it's one of bruce's more complicated rouge relationships, and probably the best one thematically. harvey is such an interesting character and if dc wouldn't use the same green headed dumbass as the villain in all their batman stories, two-face would definitely be the most compelling rouge for bruce.
i don't know if this actually made any sense, and also apologies for taking so long to answer this! here is probably one of the best detective comics covers ever made as an apology (it is bruce standing in the middle of a split two-face carved golden door with a batman shadow in the back. this shit is marvelous).

I can perfectly picture a Batman: Wayne Family Adventures two-partner that properly introduces Harvey Dent, Two-Face, their relationships with Bruce and vice versa. But I can't draw in the slightest. So I'm going to script it and you'll have to use your imagination. It’s a little longer than the average WFA two-parter. But given how many thoughts and feelings I have about Harvey, I’d say it’s impressively concise. For me. If you like how I write Harvey, I recommend my fanfic spotlighting him as a teenager, compared to which I must warn you this script is positively fluffy. Read it on AO3 here! If you want to draw any of this, please tell me in advance and use the updated original post or the AO3 fic, not necessarily your reblog.
A Second Opinion
Part 1
[Panel one. Vertical rectangle, full screen. Nighttime. The exterior of an abandoned building that is notably more decrepit on the right side, Two-Face's current base of operations, from a distance and high angle. The Batmobile is parked outside. Bruce as Batman is seen on the rooftop from behind, striding stiffly toward the skylight. A speech bubble floats in the air above him.]
Barbara: Are you sure you don't want backup?

I know these confrontations are very personal for you -

And think of the implications! If the Salvatore Maroni can face justice, so can anyone.

If his empire can crumble, so can any criminal organization or corrupt institution, no matter how powerful. This trial could be a beacon of hope for Gotham. Proof that the law can actually help people, that the spirit of it is alive.
[Panel six. Opposite Harvey, Bruce is sitting comfortably. He has notable eyebags and less light in his eyes than Harvey, but smiles in earnest admiration.]
Bruce: I think you're right. Maroni used to own the city, but ever since you, Jim and Batman started working together...

The scene is somewhat abstracted to highlight the criminals' emotions. The alley walls seem to be closing in on them and Batman's curling cape flows into the surrounding darkness. Angle is above the very small-looking criminals, but below Batman such that his striking, soulless eyes glare right at the reader. fighting violence with violence and terror with terror... they're hardly ideal, are they?

In my opinion, the work you're doing with the Wayne Foundation does better at lowering crime rates in the long run.

Her security camera footage is split in two; Bruce and the crippled Batmobile are in the left window and H/TF's getaway car (also black on one side and white on the other) racing along a road in the right.]

Part 2
[Panel one. Distant establishing shot of a brightly lit black-tie gala in a vast, ornate hall, the tasteful decor dominated by white, light blues and silver. A caption informs us that this is 'The Cobblepot 'Charity' Gala'. Oswald Cobblepot is in the heart of the crowd, shaking hands with some official. Bruce Wayne is within earshot, but nearer the double doors. Panel two is a lower, tighter horizontal rectangle where Oswald and his guests are staring at the camera with tiny black dots for eyes in alarm at the doors slamming open. H/TF’s shadow falls over the floor. Panel three shows that Harvey and Two-Face have invited themselves, holding an assault rifle in both hands. Three smaller vertical panels on alternating sides of the screen show the doors being locked by pairs of Two-Face's minions in contrasting, complemetary outfits and wielding guns. The bird’s eye view of panel seven makes it clear that the guests are surrounded and trapped. Panel eight cuts back to H/TF.]
H/TF: Good evening, scum and enablers. We're -
[Panel nine takes us closer to focus on their - or rather, Harvey's - surprise.]
Harvey: Bruce? What are you doing here?
[Panel ten is a frontal shot of Bruce, like the camera's been reversed in the same position. His confusion is an act, but his concern is real.]
Bruce: I'm the richest man in Gotham and this is a high-society gala. What are you doing here?
[Panel eleven. Side shot that doesn’t show the scarring. Harvey lowers the gun, eyes softening as Bruce reaches out to him.]
I thought we agreed that you still needed treatment.
Harvey: I…
[Panel twelve. Frontal short. Remembering his mission, Harvey loses a degree of control and the two embittered alters lightly push Bruce away and point the gun straight ahead at Oswald with a glare. Motion lines trail from their arm.]
H/TF: That doesn’t matter! What matters is taking down the Penguin!
[Panel thirteen. Oswald presses a hand to his chest, somehow at once mortified and supercilious. You can hear the melodramatic sad violin. Beside him, his associates are cowering and aghast.]
Oswald: Why, everyone knows that I’m reformed. Attacking me when I’m doing good just proves how far you’ve fallen.
[Panel fourteen. H/TF snap at him furiously, and their speech bubble is large, spiky (still with the different texturing) and has a red outline for emphasis. Their eyes are stylized as flames; their right eye’s flame is orange and the left’s blue. Bruce is giving Oswald an intense sidelong glare. His lettering is smaller and his bubble's outline dashed to indicate that he's speaking under his breath.]
H/TF: SHUT UP!
Bruce: Shut up.
[Panel fifteen. Wide low angle shot up into the shadowy rafters. Damian, Dick and Tim are hiding in their vigilante identities and watching the scene below intently, at the ready. Damian: Shouldn’t we -
Tim: Not until the signal, remember? We don’t want to escalate and endanger the civilians.

Dick: Yeah, I hate Two-Face, but Bruce has got through to Harvey before.
[Panel seventeen. H/TF aim their gun with their right hand as their left reaches into their pocket to take out their coin. Their jaw is tight in composed ire. Diagonal angle to show Bruce on their right, overlaid by the gun. HT/F's speech bubble is near their head, but Harvey's is under the panel-dividing horizontal line of the gun.]
H/TF: You have the right to remain silent, forever.
Harvey: Bruce, get out of here.

H/TF: HEY! Give it back!
[Panel twenty-one. Extreme close-up, narrow horizontal parallelogram focused on Bruce's defiant stare. His speech bubble floats close underneath.]
Bruce: No.
[Panel twenty-two. He holds the coin out of reach. The camera is angled over and to the side of Bruce's left shoulder, to put as much visual distance between his outstretched right hand and H/TF as possible, Bruce's body in between them. H/TF’s left hand is balled into fist around the lowered gun while their right gestures like they’re arguing a case in a courtroom. They look resentful, but also coldly resigned. Bruce: But what if it’s good heads?
[Panel twenty-five. Two-Face freezes. A ‘Twitch’ sound effect is at the corner of his right eye. Panel twenty-seven. A henchman aims his own gun with nervous eagerness.]
Henchman: I'll get your coin for you, boss!
[Panel twenty-six. The vigilantes leap down from the rafters. Dick's already thrown a Wingding to disarm him that flies downward rotating and seems to cut the shape of the panel, which has a tapering lower end.]
Dick: No!
[Large red 'BANG!' sound effect between panels. Panel twenty-seven is a small box in the middle of the screen showing the Wingding knocking the smoking gun away a split-second too late. Panel twenty-eight. Bruce and Harvey in the background and the bullet in the foreground are centred. Harvey slams into Bruce and knocks him down with his full weight, briefly putting himself in the path of the bullet.]
Harvey: Bruce!

Harvey: Just… just take us to Arkham. We deserve it. We need help.

Enter the Dragon will be released on 4K Ultra HD (with Digital) on August 8 via Warner Bros. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the 1973 effort is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential martial arts films of all time.
Bruce Lee stars in his final completed film before his death with John Saxon, Ahna Capri, Bob Wall, Shih Kien, and Jim Kelly. Robert Clouse directs from a script by Michael Allin (Flash Gordon).

Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters:
Creature Commandos: An animated seven episode series, written by Gunn, that is already in production. Originally a team of classic monsters assembled to fight Nazis, this is a modern take on the concept. The voice actors have yet to be cast but the executives are looking to find people who can voice the animated characters and also portray the live-action versions when the anti-heroes to show up in movies and shows.
Waller: A spin-off of Gunn’s own HBO Max hit series, Peacemaker, Viola Davis will return as the ruthless and morally ambiguous head of a government task force. It is being written by Christal Henry (Watchmen) and Jeremy Carver, the creator of the Doom Patrol TV series.
Superman: Legacy: The movie featuring the Man of Steel that Gunn is writing and may direct, although no commitments on that end have been made. While the two previous titles are meant to be “aperatifs,” in Safran’s words, Superman is the true kick off for the duo’s DCU plans. “It’s not an origin story,” Safran said. “It focuses on Superman balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing. He is the embodiment of truth justice and the American way. He is kindness in a world that thinks that kindness as old-fashioned.” A release date of July 11, 2025 has been penciled in.
Lanterns: Greg Berlanti’s long-in-the-works Green Lanterns TV series has been scrapped and the duo have parted ways with the longtime DC series steward. In its place will be a new take on the space cops with power rings. “Our vision for this is very much in the vein of True Detective,” Safran described. “It’s terrestrial-based.” It will feature prominent Lantern heroes Hal Jordan and John Stewart and is one of the most important shows they have in development. “This plays a really big role in leading into the main story we are telling across film and TV.”
The Authority: a movie based on a team of superheroes with rather extreme methods of protecting the planet that first originated in the late 1990s under an influential imprint known as Wildstorm, run by artist and now head of DC publishing, Jim Lee. “One of the things of the DCU is that it’s not just a story of heroes and villains,” said Gunn. “Not every film and TV show is going to be about good guy vs. bad guy, giant things from the sky comes and good guy wins. There are white hats, black hats and grey hats.” Added Safran: “They are kinda like Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men. They know that you want them on the wall. Or at least they believe that.”
Paradise Lost: The duo describe this HBO Max series as a Game of Thrones-style drama set on the all-female island that is Wonder Woman’s birthplace, Themyscira, filled with political intrigue and scheming between power players. It takes place before the events of the Wonder Woman films.
The Brave and the Bold: “This is the introduction of the DCU Batman,” said Gunn. “Of Bruce Wayne and also introduces our favorite Robin, Damian Wayne, who is a little son of a bitch.” The movie will take inspiration from the now-classic Batman run written by Grant Morrison that introduced Batman to a son he never knew existed: a murderous tween raised by assassins. “It’s a very strange father-and-son story.”
And, importantly, it will feature a Batman not played by Robert Pattinson…
Booster Gold: an HBO Max series based on a unique and lower-tiered hero created in 1986. Safran said of the series, “It’s about a loser from the future who uses basic future technology to come back to today and pretend to be a superhero.” Gunn described it as “imposter syndrome as superhero.”
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow: Taking its cues from the recent Tom King-written mini-series, this movie project promises to have a different take than what most think of when the idea of Superman’s cousin comes to mind. “We will see the difference between Superman, who was sent to Earth and raised by loving parents from the time he was an infant, versus Supergirl, raised on a rock, a chip off of Krypton, and who watched everyone around her die and be killed in terrible ways for the first 14 years of her life and then come to Earth. She is much more hardcore and not the Supergirl we’re used to.”
Swamp Thing: a horror film that promises to close out the first part of the first chapter.

Before audiences get to those films and series, however, there is a matter of this year’s crop movies, starting with Shazam! Fury of the Gods, coming March 17, and continuing with The Flash (June 16), Blue Beetle (Aug. 18), and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Dec. 25).
The duo are high on the quartet, made by the previous film regime and under the aegis of DC Films, run by former head Walter Hamada. Gunn calls The Flash, directed by Andy Muschietti, “probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.”
He also said the four leads of those films could potentially continue playing their leading roles in DCU projects down the line. “There is nothing that prohibits that from happening,” said Gunn.

The Batman sequel: Pattinson will continue to portray the Dark Knight in at least one more crime saga movie directed by Matt Reeves. That movie, the executives revealed, will be released Oct. 3, 2025 and is being titled The Batman Part II.

Summary: The reader and Dick have been best friends since they were little. Dick and her have done everything together; from fighting alongside each other to spending late nights just talking about life. What happens when you can’t control your feelings anymore? Will things be the same?
A/N: To everyone out there, I’m going to write the reader as being extremely attractive, as all of you are :) I’m going to write the reader’s body type based on how I would think she would look if she trained everyday, so please be wary of that! If you would like to imagine her differently that is totally fine, just disregard any description I give.

Love was a hard game to figure out. Sure you’d had boyfriends; multiple, actually, but you didn’t think you loved them. You had only ever brought one person home to meet your family, and it did NOT go well. 
Your father, had been Jim Gordon’s best friend since they were five. They did everything together, and ever since then, the two were inseparable. Fast forward about 30 years, and you were just five years old. Your father had gotten a job alongside Jim at the Gotham City Police Department, and just like that, you were inspired by thought of saving lives. Not so long after your introduction to your dad’s new job, Barbara Gordon came into the picture. She was a couple years older than you; you were 5, she was 7; and because of that, your father and Jim automatically assumed the two of you would be best friends, but that was far from the truth. 
You could not stand her, and she could not stand you. When you reached the age of 13 and she reached the age of 15, you both began to train under Batman, right around the time Dick Grayson became the first Robin. And boy, were you infatuated by his 14-year-old self. He was so cute, as your 13-year-old self used to say. He had black hair, baby blue eyes, and an adorable smile that sent butterflies straight to your stomach. Yes, he was cute, but you knew immediately he was the biggest teenage flirt you had ever met. Despite his flirty personality, he seemed completely entranced with Barbara. You watched him watch her; his eyes would brighten and his lips would curl every time she did well in training, and when you had gone up against her, you could tell he was secretly rooting for her each time; and you hated it. 
Now, Barbara may have been skilled, but you definitely took the look category. Your father always told you you were going to grow up to be beautiful, adults approaching him, mouthing “she’s going to be gorgeous”, but you never really realized it until one day, after an intense training session with Barbara, you took a look at yourself in the mirror. You were just in a tiny sports bra and spandex, and your hair was probably the grossest thing ever, but it was then you realized how pretty you are. Your shoulders are broad, but not too broad, your waist is tiny, your abs are definitely there, and your legs are perfectly toned. Your face is practically perfect, and even after a sweaty workout, that was very much evident. 
About a year later, after you had just turned 14, you had called your mother on the phone telling her how you had finally gotten your period. She thanked the gods, saying she was worried you weren’t going to ever get it due to how everyone you had known had theirs by age 12. Shortly after this incident, you started to realize you had gone up a cup size in bras. And then another. And then another. You had to buy all new sports bras, and when you went from a small to a medium in bottoms, you knew something was up. 
By the age of 16, you looked like a woman. You stepped into the training room, Bruce, Dick, Barbara and the newest member of the “family”, Jason Todd, all stood waiting for you. It had been about 3 months since the last time you saw any of them besides Barbara; you took a break with your family, and of course Barbara was there as well. 
You could feel Dick Grayson’s eyes on you; his 17-year-old hormones finally beginning to kick in. You tried to avoid eye contact, but out of the corner of your eye, you saw an incredibly annoyed Babs; her arms were folded, and she was staring a hole through Dick Grayson’s head. 
“Holy boobs,” said Jason Todd, who at the time, was only 13. Dick slapped the back of his head, causing Jason to jump, “what? Do you not see that?” Dick rolled his eyes. 
Later that day, you felt confident. Dick had been shooting glances at you, looking away when you looked at him. You were so sure he had been flirting with you at training, teasing you, winking at you, and even letting his fingers linger on your waist when he went 1v1 with you. It was this very day you realized you were in love with Dick Grayson, and you were almost positive he felt some kind of feeling toward you. That night, you slipped on an oversized sweater. You had just officially moved into wayne manor, along with Babs, and you were so excited to live with Dick every day. 
Your feet silently made their way down the hall as you approached Dick’s door. You inhaled, then exhaled, your fist ready to knock. That was until the door swung open. Your heart dropped at the sight. Barbara Gordon stood in the doorway, one of Dick’s t-shirts draped over her body, her hair messy, her lips puffy, and a large hickey on her neck. A soft smirk formed on her lips before she spoke, but you didn’t hear anything she said. You peered over her shoulder at Dick, who was shirtless, just in his boxers. He had a few hickey’s on his chest, his hair messy, his lips puffy, and his cheek stained with Barbara’s cheap, color chapstick. Babs shot you an odd look before leaving, your feet refusing to move. 
“Hey Y/N, caught me at an awkward time,” he said with a chuckle, your eyes dropping as you processed what happened. Why didn’t Dick feel guilty about this? Why was he acting so normal? That’s when you realized, Dick Grayson did not love you; he did not have feelings for you. Those feelings were for Barbara, and Barbara only. Dick Grayson thought of you as a friend, which is why he could act so normal around you after catching him post-hookup session. 
A smirk formed on his lips as he leaned against the door frame. 
“You come to give me round two?” he asked with a playful smirk, causing a frown to appear on your lips. That’s when you remembered, Dick was a flirt. He was just like his father, and even though he loved Barbara, he would never let go of that playboy attitude. 
“Absolutely not,” you said as you backed up, a disgusted look on your face as you stormed off down the hallway, back to your room. It was this moment that you realized how hurt you were, and how even though, at this very moment you hated Dick Grayson, you were the most in love with him you had ever been. 
Three years later, you had just turned 19. You had been dating your first boyfriend for about 6 months now, and it was time to introduce him to the family. You invited your boyfriend to dinner at Wayne Manor, your father and Jim both attending, along with your mother. At this point, Jason Todd had died, come back to life, and had been set straight by the entire batfamily, and even though he was much more stable now, Jason was known to give others a very, very hard time. But who gave your boyfriend the hardest time was not Jason Todd; in fact, it was the last person you thought would give him a hard time; it was Dick Grayson. 
Your boyfriend was very attractive. He stood taller than Dick at 6′2, and he had wavy, light brown hair with hazel colored eyes and tan skin. He had a dashing smile, and even Babs had whispered to you how well you had done. Dick and Barbara had finally started dating, their love for each other very obvious as you watched the two of them play footsies under the table at dinner. Besides that, everything was going pretty well. Your father seemed to like your boyfriend, Bruce enjoyed talking to him about money, and even Barbara’s dad was having delightful conversations with him. Your boyfriend bonded with Jason over motorcycles, and with Barbara and your mother over how he has a little sister, he bonded with the newest Robin, Tim Drake over what his time was like at Tim’s age, but Dick sat there the entire time, his arms folded over his chest, refusing to even speak to your boyfriend. 
“She’s the most beautiful girl I’ve ever met,” your boyfriend announced after your mother asked what he thought of you. You blushed, winking at your boyfriend before looking across the table to see Dick glaring straight at your boyfriend, his eyes rolling before he spoke for the first time. 
“How many other girls have you said that to?” Dick asked, causing the entire table to go silent. Your boyfriend just looked at him, a shocked expression on his face. Barbara hit Dick’s foot under the table, but he ignored it, continuing to speak. 
“You know you’ll never do better than her, right? You should think a little harder about your pickup lines before you use cheesy ones like that,” Dick said, causing Bruce to immediately grab Dick by the arm, leading him out of the room. You apologized over and over again, but your boyfriend just shook his head. That night, your boyfriend ended your relationship. He said it wasn’t you, but you knew exactly why he did it: pure intimidation. You knew you weren’t going to marry him anyways, so you let him go with a goodbye kiss and a hug, but it still hurt. 
So there. That was your first real boyfriend. And as you can see, it just didn’t go well. That night you went up to your room, a tear slipping down your cheek as you felt your heart sink. Maybe you didn’t love your now ex boyfriend, but you did really like him. A single tear turned to a sob, and soon enough, you were bawling your eyes out. You cried into your pillow, your mascara getting all over the pillow cover, but you didn’t care. You weren’t enough for him, and that was something you couldn’t stop thinking about. It was then that there was a soft knock on your door, 
You opened the door to an awkwardly standing Dick Grayson, his hands in his pockets, his messy hair falling in front of his face, and a sorry look. His heart broke as he noticed how puffy your eyes were and how red your cheeks looked, so he pushed past you and sat on your bed. You shut the door, turning to face him. 
“Did he-?” he asked, you nodded your head slightly, and he cursed at himself before itching the back of his head. 
“God, Y/N, I’m so sorry. This is all my fau-”
“No,” you interrupted him, “If he truly wanted me, he would’ve stayed; despite those crude comments you made. I just wasn’t enough for him.” you said with a sigh as you sat next to him, his cologne filling your senses. 
Dick couldn’t help it. He grabbed your waist, pulling you to his chest. You melted into his touch, sobbing into his shirt as he stroked your hair. He shushed you, pulling you next to him as you laid down on your bed. He let you cry into him, your hands pulling his shirt into your fists as you sobbed onto him. 
“You’re perfect,” he said as he stroked your head. “Don’t think you’re not, because you are the most perfect girl I’ve ever met,” That night you fell asleep in his arms, while Dick let Barbara go to bed alone.

Now, present time, your 22 and Dick is 23. The entire batfamily had moved back into Wayne Manor temporarily, since the Joker had left a major threat note to Batman about the downfall of Gotham. Bruce Wayne, as the anxious ball of nerves he is, called the entire family back to Gotham to help out. So there you sat, in your old room, the memories flooding back. In the time you had been gone, Dick and Babs had been on and off, but he always went back to her. Your father and Jim never stopped working to protect Gotham, the newest Robin, Damian Wayne, had been introduced into the family, and you had taken up your own duties elsewhere, outside of the city. 
You moved your hand to scratch an itch on your face before you sighed, standing up. It was time to face the people you had been dreading to see. Alfred had greeted you, and after that, you went straight to your room.
It was dinner time, and you knew you were going to have to face your teammates. You put on a light layer of makeup before walking out of your room. 
The first person you ran into with Bruce, who you greeted with a hug and a “how are you doing?”. Next, you met the newest member, Damian, who even though appeared stand offish, he was sweet to you. You said hi to Tim, before you continued into the kitchen. It was then that your eyes fell upon a very tall, a very buff, and a very attractive Jason Todd. 
“Jason?” You asked as he approached you, flashing a pearly smile before bringing you in for a hug. “You look so different!” You said as he chuckled. 
“Yeah, I’ve been getting that. How have you been?” He asked as you smirked at him. 
“Oh, ya know, stuff,” you added, causing a chuckle to escape from his lips. “About to turn 20?” You asked as he nodded his head. 
“Soon,” he said before smirking at you. “You look good. You always look good, but you look real good now,” he said, a blush forming on your cheeks. 
“So do you,” you replied. Then, you peered over his shoulder. There stood a very handsome Dick Grayson. He had definitely gotten more built, and he looked incredible. You felt the butterflies form in your stomach, and you immediately wanted to throw yourself in his arms. 
But, you resisted. He hadn’t even reached out to you since you had last seen him, about two years ago. He smiled when he saw you, hugging you tightly as you approached him. 
“How’s Babs?” You asked, his smile growing wider. 
“Just perfect.” he added. 
And there stood Barbara Gordon, a sparkly diamond on her finger.

Getting in to comics is rather hard and finding a good starting place or a good recommended must-reads is hard and confusing and you typically get hundreds of different answers.
This is my personal list, that I'm working through and hope to collect. I've done quite a bit of research and feel like this is a adequate reading list for modern (post-crisis) Bruce Wayne
Anyway, here's my list:

Batman: Year One (Batman Vol 1 #404-#407)
This story line established the back story for Batman in the post-crisis timeline, along with the back stories for Commissioner Gordon and Selina Kyle. Not necessarily canon anymore, but a good story to get the feel of the characters
Batman: The Man Who Laughs
This is a one shot that was published in 2005 that tells the story of Batman’s first encounter with the Joker roughly a year after the Batman’s debut in Gotham. Based on the Joker’s original first appearance in Batman Vol 1 #1.
Batman and the Monster Men
This is a 6 part mini series that takes place sometime after Batman: Year One and Batman: The Man Who Laughs. First half of the Dark Moon Rising series. Story revolves around Batman’s first dealing with Hugo Strange
Batman and the Mad Monk
This is another 6 part mini series that is the second half of the Dark Moon Rising series. It is a retelling of a story from Detective Comics Vol 1 #31-32
Batman: The Long Halloween
This is a 13 part limited series, that serves as a re-introduction of the Calendar Man and features a wide array of Batman’s rouge gallery such as Two-Face, Scarecrow, Riddler, Joker, and Poison Ivy.
Batman: Dark Victory
This is a 14 part limited series that is a sequel to The Long Halloween. The main case in the story is a turf war between Two-Face and the Falcon Mafia. It also serves as a re-telling of Dick Grayson’s Robin origin.
Batman: Birth of the Demon (TPB)
This is a collection of 3 Batman one shots: Son of the Demon, Bride of the Demon, and Birth of the Demon. All stories center around Ra’s al Ghul and Talia al Ghul.
Batman: Strange Apparitions (Detective Comics Vol 1 #469-479)
This collection reintroduces Golden Age villains such as Hugo Strange and Dead shot along with introducing new villains such as Doctor Phosphorus and Clayface III.
Batman: The Killing Joke
A 60 page one shot that hints at the Jokers true identity, along with pushing the Jokers madness to new extremes, and showing just how dangerous he can be.
Batman: the Cult
This is a 4 issue mini series, in which Batman gets captured, torture and brain washed by Deacon Blackfire. This is also one of the few stories written by Jim Starlin that shows Jason Todd in a favorable light, as Starlin had a dislike for the character and kid sidekicks.
Batman: Death in the Family (Batman Vol 1 #426-429)
The famous 4 issue story arc that allowed readers to vote on the fate of the then current Robin, Jason Todd.
Batman: A Lonely Place of Dying (Batman Vol 1 #440-442)
This story is the introduction of Tim Drake and his taking of the Robin Mantle. The story also involves a case with Two-Face
Batman: The Last Arkham (Batman: Shadow of the Bat #1-4)
This story shows us the inner workings of Arkham Asylum, along with introducing new villains such as Zsasz, Jeremiah Arkham, and Amygdala
Batman: Gothic (Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #6-10)
In this story we get to see glimpses of Bruce Wayne childhood.
Batman: Venom (Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #16-20)
This story introduces us to the strength-enhancing drug, venom

The Knightfall collection is a trilogy consisting of Knightfall, Knightquest, and KnightsEnd. In the story, Batman is crippled by Bane leading to him enlisting help from Jean-Paul Valley, while he recovers. Jean-Paul becomes increasingly unstable and violent, ruining Batman’s reputation until Bruce can finally put an end to it. The story had long term ramifications in the batcannon as Bruce had to rebuild the trust everyone had for him.

A story arc that ties up the Hush Money story and the return of Bruce Wayne.
Batman Incorporated
This series focuses on Bruce Wayne franchising the Batman name across the globe, while Dick Grayson still serves as Batman in Gotham.
Batman: The Gates of Gotham
A limited series that features Dick Grayson as Batman, but was used as a lunching point for major Batman story lines in New 52.
Batman New 52
After the New 52 reboot, DC began Batman Vol 2, aka Batman New 52
Batman Eternal
A weekly limited series that ran for a year, reintroducing numerous villains in to the New 52 canon, along with Stephanie Brown.
Batman and Robin Eternal
A weekly limited series that ran for 6 months as a follow up to Batman Eternal. The story jumps between Dick Grayson’s first year as Robin and the present. Cassandra Cain is reintroduced in to the New 52 canon in this series.
Batman Rebirth (ongoing)
This is the 3rd volume of batman, and despite no longer having the rebirth header is still the current Batman title
