More Marks!
Hunter's Mark is a great spell for Rangers, but what if they had more!
Over on my Discord Server, peple voted for what Deity's Domain they wanted next for priest, and Hunt was the winner, giving me the opportunity to try out some design space I've wanted to for a while.
EDIT: These are all now available in JayPea's Spell Compendium on itch, they're also all under CC, so feel free to use them in your games or in your own homebrew!
Ethereal Mark
Hunter's Mark helps you track, so surely these other marks should also help somehow with finding people. First up is ethereal mark, letting you see creatures that turn invisible, or punch and grapple ghosts.
Tumblr media
Guiding Mark
Next up is Guiding Mark, this isn't really useful on melee rangers, and damage-wise isn't too much better than ethereal mark, but for ranged rangers, you can now shoot around corners the arrow or bolt magically finding it's mark
Tumblr media
Seer's Mark
Lastly we have Seer's Mark, the logical endpoint of hunter's mark, as long as you've seen your mark, for the next day, you can find them wherever they are, or at least know pretty much exactly where they are.

So I am finally writing a canonverse fic where Raistlin uses a wheelchair.
I headcanon that, like me (and I do think it's really canonically likely from what I know of canon...), Raistlin cannot use a manual wheelchair, so I suppose his chair has to work on magic.
The thing is I know nothing about dnd. And I'd like to find a way for the chair to move without him actively having to move it with magic himself, because it would probably strain him?
Only found manual chairs by tumblr searches "dnd wheelchair" and "dnd magic wheelchair".

Mix potions, heal your allies, and summon spirits! A witch can be a valuable member of a party or a devastating enemy. Use this supplement to help you build the perfect character for your game. With a new 5th edition class, a new background, and many new magic items.
Play the Prophet, a new background. Are you plagued by visions? Maybe the gods allowed you a glimpse at the future and now you must prepare the world for its coming doom!
Summon a living building with the Witch's Hut magic item. Fill your Baba Yaga dreams and ride around your campaign on the back of a house!
Leap into battle alongside your familiar. Cast ancient rituals. Curse disrespectful nobles. And much more with the Witch!
If you like it please leave a rating and share! Consider checking out some of my other community-created titles like Gahears Glorious Guide to Dragons, Mysteries of Magic A Guide for Warlocks, or The Warlord

Didn’t happen but it was still a funny thought xD
Lionheart sisters catching up escalated to dressing up. Nora’s not use to this stuff and Zinnia is having a fun time. (Again didn’t happen stated in the campaign but did have a moment where they dressed up catching up being 13 years)

I haven’t been very motivated for art, but then I had an idea for a d&d item that I’m positive probably exists in some form or another, but here it is anyway:  An elemental necklace with a space for each of the four primal elements (fire, water, earth, and air) that, when filled, allows the wearer to channel those elements. You could get pretty fancy with it - depending on what you store in the necklace to channel the corresponding element determines the spell / effect / elemental summoning that you’re able to evoke. You could use it as a reaction or something to negate the effects of an elemental’s attack or an elemental spell (if you wanted to make it less powerful, make it a contest against the spellcaster / monster’s spell casting thingy), thereby also filling that slot. (Would also only work once for each element before releasing that element - if you store fire, you have to use that fire before storing fire again, etc etc.)
Super special secret use: if all four elements are stored (at a certain level or regardless of level, I don’t care) the necklace has the potential to open a gate to the elemental planes. If you wanted this to be a legendary level item, make it two-ways until one of the elements is released, and don’t break the necklace. If you wanted to make it less powerful, make it a one-way gate and release all of the elements, so that you have to store them all again to get out of the planes, or even have the necklace break after it’s used in this way.
Require attunement or don’t! Give it a curse! Give it sentience!! Do whatever you want!! But if you use it in a campaign lemme know how it goes and tell me about the (mis)adventures of your party :)
Anyway tldr: elemental necklace for storing and using elemental attacks & effects :D

my players are doing a puzzle related to the magic schools so i made a chart for them
it’s mostly based off of dnd beyond’s colors but also partially people’s opinions on what colors the schools are from the forums

Dim, A new Cantrip for your 5e games!
Tumblr media
For the latest update of my Priest Class, I've started to move away from non-SRD spells, so to fill that void, I've started to make a few of my own, starting here with Dim, a prety obvious counterpart to the Light cantrip!

My DND character Vesryn Galanodle a moon half elf (normally she is purple but currently she is blue due to a curse that turned her skin blue). She is a sorcerer, all of her spells are pink, and so far her wild magic surge has summoned a unicorn into a battle, made her whole party start to float, turned her and a party member invisible, reduced her speech to only bubbles coming out of her mouth, blinded her whole party, did necrotic damage to her party and healed herself, summoned a swarm of butterflies, aged herself by two years, turned her own skin blue, blinded herself, caused an explosion, cut off someone’s hands, killed her own brother, and teleported one of her party members to a different location…
