These are Omar(2) and Salah(5), Bilal's nephews. 8 months ago, they were enjoying the warmth of their home and being pampered by their parents and everyone in the family. The pictures below are from Omar's first birthday. Bilal told me how he was the one who prepared everything for the surprise party. He was,then, so excited to gather the whole family and give Omar a memorable first birthday and bring joy to everybody.

Now, Omar and Salah are going through hardships no child should be experiencing. They are surrounded by rubble and unsanitary conditions wherever they go; not to mention the random bombings that threaten their lives every moment of every day. Omar took his first steps while being displaced in a tent in Rafah. Imagine your baby learning to walk in a refugee camp under the constant buzzing of drones! The children and the whole family had to endure the cold winter and being drenched by rain in their flimsy tent, and now they have to go through the unbearable heat in the same inhumane circumstances. As if all this suffering wasn't enough, the occupation is currently asking everyone in Rafah to evacuate again, even the hospitals!

The survival of Omar, Salah, and the whole family in now more than ever at stake. Bilal has been in Germany for a year or so now. The thought that he might never get to see his beloved nephews again haunts him every day. He humbly asks for your support to help him keep his loved ones safe until he has the chance to reunite with them, hopefully as soon as possible. hello, i am disabled intersex trans person who needs to pick up medications, as well as save up for next month's rent ($475). the events i was vending jewelry at IRL got postponed until next month due to severe heat- there as been an excessive heat warning for most of the past 2 weeks and it's made making any income difficult, as i am very sensitive to the heat due to my health conditions making me sensitive to sun + heat. i have gotten heat sick several times already this summer and cannot push myself any harder to work atm.

I used to have a wonderful life , We had a warm home and also our own successful small business

Everything was fine until October 7 and everything turned upside down …

Our home and business have been completely destroyed, and we have become homeless, suffering from fear, displacement, hunger and destruction all around us.

My little brother his names Yazan 14 years old , he has down syndrome . He was a social, smiling, interactive, active boy who loved life, but after the outbreak of this war, he became cowardly, introverted, and suffered from panic attacks.

Also, my son Fadi, who is 3 years old, suffers from constant fear and wakes up in the middle of the night screaming in terror because of the horrific sounds of missiles and explosions. My young son has lived in a condition that adults cannot bear, and I want him to escape from all this destruction and live a normal life that guarantees his rights as a child.

And now,,

My family and I want to flee the war. It is difficult for us to leave our homeland, but life there has become impossible.

Therefore, I ask you to help us by donating to us the amount of $25,000 so that we can pay for the coordination to travel abroad and survive the war, as the coordination for one person costs $5,000 for a person over 16 years old and $2,500 for a person under 16 years old

GARTIC PHONE CHARITY LIVESTREAM FOR GAZA

On Sunday 12 November 2023, me and 18 other pony fandom artists are taking to Twitch to run a Gartic Phone charity stream, in aid of Medical Aid for Palestinians, a UK-based charity that works to provide medical supplies and protective gear to those working in and around hospitals in Gaza and the West Bank!

If your feed on tumblr or elsewhere has been anything like mine, then it's been a heartbreaking last 4 weeks - first with the awful attack on civilians on Oct 7, and then the maniacal unrestrained blitz over entire neighborhoods, over hospitals, universities, ambulance convoys that has been unleashed on a dense population with no ability to flee.

We don't know when or if a ceasefire is coming, but regardless of whether it comes tomorrow or a week from now, there are people in desperate need of medical help right now.

So let's raise money to get that help to them, let's have some fun while doing so, and let's let the levity of pastel pony pals bring some joy in a moment otherwise marred by despair.
