Just to make a few things clear on some of these entries:

-Yes, obviously I expect Storm is probably gonna crush this, that is, if the Tournament of X was anything to go by, but I figured it was only fair to show that rather than assume it.

-I don't think Cable's ever led the core team, but he's one of the definitive leaders of X-Force.

-I wasn't 100% sure who to go with from among the New Mutants' leaders, but in the end I just like Dani best, so she gets the nod over Karma or Cannonball.

-Betsy's on here as the leader of Excalibur, Knights of X, and (Kinda) the Captain Britain Corps. I was honesy surprised to find myself including her, but here she is.

Oh my God, the first couple of Hellfire Gala covers just dropped and they are GORGEOUS! A couple of them are still unpublished and we don't have all the outfits yet (hoping that Ororo, Rogue and Kurt will get some again, praying Cecilia gets one this year 'cause she works hard and deserves to be invited!). Anyway, I love the Hellfire Gala and I love how all the artist just go wild with gown designs and covers, so while I wait for all of that to release I'm just gonna rank my top 5 covers up until now:

Love the scenery, love the black suit with the gold accents and lace, especially love the shoes and love the Psylocke butterfly effect thingy. Love that for Laura.

Phoenix, baby! The five are looking stunning! Love the golden lighting on the cover and all the little Phoenixes. Glad they are invited this year.

Emma just is that girl, she just can NOT not look stunning. I mean the body suit with the harness? The big-ass fur overcoat with Diamond highlights? The dramatic make-up? I'm here for it! She kinda gives Lady Gaga and I love it! White Queen indeed.

This is so goth and I love it! Is Kate sitting by the water, on the water, through the water??? Idk, but it looks amazing. The outfit is a fancier version of her normal pirate outfit and it looks extremely good. A fashion win for Kate Pryde, love that for her.

*Bi panic noises* Excuse me, Carol??? The regal military outfit, the little red star accessories in her hair, it's SO gorgeous! Wouldn't mind if that becomes a more regular outfit.

PITCH: "Space Race" takes on a whole new meaning as the X-Men and Abigail Brand scramble to claim as much galactic territory as they can. Storm and Jean Grey hate that they've been forced to expand to populated worlds, but they know if Abigail wins, Krakoa is finished.

WOLVERINE

PITCH: Wolverine and Honey Badger are back! Taking a break from Krakoa, they're back in NYC, ready to have some fun and fight some good old fashioned baddies! But with how much they've changed, can they still work together - or even keep from coming to blows?

EMMA FROST

PITCH: Emma is about to have a nervous breakdown. After putting it off as long as possible, her older sister Adrienne has been resurrected. She may act like the past is in the past, but Emma knows she wants to take everything she has - and she won't let that happen

CAPTAIN KRAKOA VS CYCLOPS

PITCH: Scott Summers has everything he ever wanted, and when a quantum hiccup causes his teenage self to appear on Krakoa, Scott is excited to show Cyclops all they've achieved. Just one problem: his teen self despises Krakoa.The last time he came to the future, he could only be told about what he'd done before he died. This time, he's not going home until Captain Krakoa falls.

GWENPOOL THE MUTANT

PITCH: To save herself from comic book limbo, Gwen Poole retconned herself into being a mutant. Fat load of good it did her. Now, starring in yet another surprise mini, she's out to prove she's the most important mutant on Krakoa.
