You might have heard that teachers in Florida are being made to catalogue and submit all of their classroom books to make sure they're "approved" under HB-1467.

Many feel it's an excuse to rid schools of queer books.

The good news? With a $50 donation, we send LGBTQ+ books to the LGBTQ+ center, GSA club/youth group, or school library of your choice!

In Miraculous the transformation reflects ur self, and can change according to u.... There can be someone who may be in the body of one sex, but feels like they are another (transgender) and when they transform they feel like they belong in the body, cause it’s not their assigned sex.

Or like ur transformation changes accordingly to what pronouns u prefer for that time.

One of the only decent things about Harry Potter is honestly the sheer amount of gay fanfiction. I read the books once as a child and everything after that was degenerate gay and trans harry potter fanfics. So many queer kids grasped so tightly onto this fandom, not even the books themselves, just the fandom and it was only for the fanfiction based universe we all lived in where Harry potter was a bisexual and/or trans icon, Draco got the redemption arc he deserved, and slytherin kids weren’t treated like shit. That’s how desperate we all were for gay content growing up

And for the purposes of where I'm posting from... people sharing and enjoying their k1nks, wanting to post things with safety and privacy... smut artists and writers, people even LOOKING for smut...

It's all gone. No privacy.

They'll have your face, your name, your age, where you live.

You'll need an ID to use any US-based platform, even if you're NOT in the United States.

Instead of dooming, here's what you can do to stop this shit in it's tracks 👍

Here is a website where you can sign a letter just by filling out a form, (it takes less than 30 seconds) and where you can call reps.

I HIGHLY suggest leaving calls if you're able, and if you have phone shyness, do this after 6pm, since it will leave messages instead.

When I just saw this information I couldn't stop crying thinking about it, and now my heart aches. They were the same age as me, I know for a fact like any other teen they dreamt of their future, who they would want to become, what to achieve, create, wondering if they meet those in the future they can call friends, wondeting if it'll get better when they grow up, maybe wished to leave that terrible place or maybe wanted to stay. How could anyone let this happen, why were they discharged from hospital so easily? And the school, we all know why. I hate to think about how, even with all the progress made, these things still happen.

I hate everyone who have ever committed such vile hate crimes, I wish them in prison and hell. But i would never go down to their level. But I also blame the government, the school, and even those bigoted online accounts that teach their followers hate. In this case LibsOfTikTok, who targeted the teacher of this school, who supports lgbtq+, so they had to leave their position. It must have been the push for this to happen. I think their tiktok account has been thankfully deleten. But i have no idea about Twitter or any other. Please check and mass report them if it still exists. Nex Benedict was a indigenous trans nonbinary teenager. Their head was beaten against the floor in a bathroom stall. Less than 24 hours later, they died, most likely from undiagnosed head trauma. Conservatives say they want to, "protect the children", where was the protection for Nex? That's the thing. There wasn't any. Nex died. And many more trans, queer, and nonbinary minors will if we don't step up and do something. What happened to Nex has and will happen to queer folk around the globe. Say their name.

Edit: I didn't expect this to get much attention, but thank you everyone. What alot of people, "forget" to mention was that Nex was two spirited, which means they were indigenous. The fact that I wouldn't have heard about this if I didn't have Tumblr is absolutely revolting. News needs to be covering this. But what are Republicans doing? Sucking their thumbs and crying about how, "trans people shouldn't be able to piss". What are Democrats doing? Twiddling their thumbs and groveling to an old geezer that somehow falls up the stairs and supports I$r3@l. It's disgusting and America needs to do better.

Edit 2: Any and all hate/saying that Nex Benedict wasn't murdered (they were) will immediately get deleted, just because you don't like trans people doesn't mean you can be an whiny little bitch. A child was murdered. This has nothing to do with politics, a child was murdered.

The other day when I was volunteering at the library, I was shelving books when a little kid came up to me and just stared at me before asking “Are you a girl?”

Me: “uh… no, I’m not a girl.”

Kid: “are you a boy?”

Me: “Well, no, actually-“

Kid (looking at me with wide eyes): “Are you a *fairy*?!?”

Me (leaning down and speaking in a whisper): “Yes, but sshh, don’t tell anyone. It’s a secret.”

Then the kid just looked up at me with wide eyes before their face broke into a huge smile and they nodded enthusiastically.

That interaction made my entire frickin day. Also apparently I’m a fairy now.
