You travelled hurriedly to beomgyu’s dorm in the snowfall that seemed to progressively get worse, trying to make your way there faster so you wouldn’t have to be in it for that long.
You hated the feeling of snow all on you, clothes and body soggy and cold, it wasn’t very pleasant. Yes, snow was very pretty to look at from inside, watching as it carelessly and elegantly scattered the ground and watching the landscape being blanketed by it, making even the ugliest places look pretty, but being in snow when it fell down harshly and rapidly in excessive cold wind speeds was not pretty.
Finally, you make it into his building, climbing up all the stairs to the very top since the elevator still hadn’t been fixed yet, panting as you knocked on his door.
“Woah. What happened to you?”
“The snow. And your damned dorm being at the highest level for no reason.”
“Ah yeah we were supposed to be working on the music performance today weren’t we? Thought it would have been rain checked due to the weather. Or…should I say snow checked?” Beomgyu laughs at his own joke as you continue to stare at him unamused.
...
“Are you going to let me in?”
“Oh. Yeah.” He opens his door wide for you and you walk in, taking off your coat.
“Wow you have so much snow in your hair.” Beomgyu states, coming to softly stroke and pat your head of the little icy droplets, it takes you a back but you try your hardest to seem unaffected.
“You must be freezing! I’ll make us both hot chocolate.”
“Thanks beomgyu.”
And so, you work on your meeting together about the christmas performance. Whilst you’d gotten the music done and have had many practices now, there’s still lots to take into account and consideration such as lighting and decorations, how long everything had to be, where people will be playing, speeches, etc. You’re huddled there together for a good few hours discussing, planning and sorting things for it.
Just as your wrapping up, ready to go to your lecture together which was soon, both of you get alerted of the weather. A powerful blizzard taking place. Must stay inside. Everyone snowed in. Advised to not go out at all until it’s over which was predicted to last until the whole night. All lectures cancelled for the rest of the day.
Both of you stare up at each other, bewildered, only now hearing the wind howling and the snow hitting against the window extremely fast and powerfully. Whilst it was snowing crazy on the way to beomgyu’s place, you didn’t think or anticipate it to progress into a full blown snow storm. It’d be crazy to go out in that. But you’ve got to try and make it back home or you’re stuck.
You grab your coat and start putting it back on.
“Hey, where are you going? Are you mad? You can’t go out in that!”
“But I should probably go back home!”
“You might die bro! That’s not safe. You might die from like…hypothermia or... get blown away from the winds and then disappear and never be found!” Beomgyu dramaticises, “You should just stay at mine until it calms down.” The snow storm seems gradually get worser and even more severe as he carried on speaking, proving his point and you can hear the windows rattling from the sheer force.
You sigh, “Yeah i guess you’re right, it would be stupid to go out in that.” And he nods.
“Well, looks like we’re snowed in together. What should we do?”
Tumblr media
You watch a lot of movies together huddled cozily on his sofa, beomgyu’s commentary making it a lot more funnier and making the incredibly awful films slightly more bearable.
“What B rated Christmas film shall we watch next?” Beomgyu asks after you’re done finishing yet another one.
“Please! No more I need to take a break it’s actually hurting my head.”
He laughs at that, eyes wrinkling cutely and smile so pretty— “What should we do instead?…Y/n? Hello?”
You don’t process what he says at first, too busy lost in your improper thoughts about your partner next to you. “Huh? Oh! Ummm we could film another one of your streams if you want. Now’s good timing since we’re here and not like we can really go anywhere.”
“Yeah that’s true, let’s do it then.” Beomgyu says slightly timidly, still shy about streaming with you.
He gets out his toys and whatnot, you setting up the camera again and you choose the new flesh light both of you had acquired recently with the money from the streams, telling him to use that today since you know it would garner a lot of reactions.
Despite beomgyu being a camboy for quite a while, he’d never actually tried a flesh light properly before and the one you guys had purchased looked a bit too real to him, looking at it already made him kinda hard and also embarrassed.
Once you guys had set up everything and gotten ready for it, you pressed the button to go live and started recording.
Beomgyu sits, legs spread out and bent level to his chest, his pretty belly button piercing in view and his legs covered with his usual pretty thigh highs, taking the fleshlight and very slowly easing it down on tip, his mouth already agape from just that.
He brings the toy down and back up on his length, slowly sucking him in each time, hips rolling languidly into it as you watched in awe, also monitoring the comments who seemed to be in the same predicament as you.
His lip is caught between his teeth, trying to silence his continuous whimpers. He looked so out of it just from fucking into silicone, it drove you mad. He made it so hard just to sit and watch and carry on filming.
Beomgyu's pace grows unsteady, cock throbbing and jerking, getting delirious with each stroke of the now sticky toy, squirming in need whilst you watched him.
He wanted to be touched so bad. He needed you to touch him. He couldn't take it, fucking himself pathetically with just a toy whilst you're right there. He wants you to fuck him. He needs it at this point.
Beomgyu looks straight at you with half lidded eyes, whining and looking at you so seductively, "Wish it was your pussy I was fucking-h-hah...ah."
You know he's just talking to the fans but you can't help imagining he was begging you instead. "Want you to fuck me. I need it please-ahh" Beomgyu hopes you'd get the hint and just come over and fuck him already, whilst also trying to be discrete about it, not wanting to give himself away too much.
You look away, going to the comments, feeling embarrassed about your thoughts and beomgyu suddenly whines incredibly loud, brows furrowing. "Please!!", looking straight into your eyes.
You can't take it anymore. You walk over to him, stilling his movements of the fleshlight and his eyes widen, stumbling over his words. He didn’t think it’d actually work. You move the fleshlight on his dick with your own hands over his, twisting it around and he gasps, looking up at you pleadingly.
“You want to get fucked?” He nods his head continuously. “But you’re a virg-”
“-Please! I want it!”
“Are you sure?” He nods again and breathes out a yes but you still search his eyes for any uncertainty.
When you don’t find any, you remove the fleshlight off him, straddling his hips, taking off your own clothes. You jerk his dick a couple times and then as gently as you can, place his dick to your entrance, slowly sinking on his tip, making his head throw back with a groan before sitting on his whole length, he lets a loud strangled moan at that, “O-oh god…”
You slowly ride him, beomgyu’s mouth in an ‘o’ shape the whole time. He’s fucked himself countless of times before and he never thought actually getting fucked would be much different or would feel that great like some people say but he can confirm that it in fact does feel that great. He didn’t think it would feel this good. He can’t stop moaning and you’re not even remotely going fast.
You can’t believe you’re actually fucking Angel. Like, you’re actually fucking him right now. It’s even better than how you imagined countless times, his reactions so fucking pretty. You used to just watch him from a small screen not knowing who he was and now you’re making him so pussy drunk, eyes rolling to the back of his head, intoxicated and so fucked out from just slowly rolling your hips on his, the first person to fuck him and make him feel like this.
You quicken your pace, hitting a bit deeper and he moans, burying his face in your neck, trembling and drooling. You can hear numerous pings going off every second from people sending in tips. You bet the viewers are going insane right now.
“Y/n, I think-I think I’m gonna cum already…” Beomgyu whimpers, eyes so glazed up, lost in the pleasure and then you feel him suddenly cum inside you with a broken mewl. “Ahh…I-I’m sorry y/n, I’m sorry…!” Beomgyu sniffles, face flushed pink, tears brimming his eyes, so embarrassed from already cumming so fast.
You keep bouncing on his spent dick, ruffling his hair, “it’s okay, baby. You’re doing so good for me. Think you can cum again?”
His eyes widening at the name and praise and you move to gently play with his nipples, body jerking up in response, someone else touching his nipples making him even more sensitive than he usually is, pretty sounds coming out of his mouth none stop as if he’s a drone, cries accelerating and elevating in pitch whilst you fucked him dumb.
“Cum, baby.” So he does again, muffling his screams by burying his face in your neck again, one of his hand coming to claw at your back, shuddering and spilling his release, cumming hard from being fucked for the first time, whole body flushed and glistening, eyes shut and eyebrows still furrowed, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he pants. So, so, so fucking pretty.
You go back to get the camera, zooming in and filming a close up for the viewers of his ‘just fucked and came’ face, beomgyu still delirious and softly groaning and panting, brows still knitted even afterwards.
You check to see how much you guys made and you gasp. It was double the amount even on the days he makes the most money. It was a fuck ton of money.
You go back to beomgyu to see if he’s doing good and it seems like he’s recovering from his high. “Look how much we made.” You show him the tips and even beomgyu gasps.
Tumblr media
Once you both had taken it in turns to shower, beomgyu lends you some of his clothes. When you’d agreed to stay at beomgyu’s place until the snow storm calmed down, you didn’t fully realise that would mean staying over night with him even though it literally said it was expected to carry on exactly the same as it was during the night.
And now here you were in his bedroom. It was quite a nice bedroom, you had been in before but you never fully took in the sight of the room, fairy lights strewn across the room, record player, his multiple guitars on one side with band posters and numerous bear plushies on his bed.
"Where are your spare pillows and blankets? I’ll sleep on the floor.”
“I don’t have any spare pillows or blankets. Also I can’t just let my guest sleep on the floor!”
“Then what?”
“We’ll sleep on the bed together. It’s big enough. And you literally just fucked me so I don’t think it really matters.”
He is right about that so you both head to the bed, throwing off some of the plushies except for one which he keeps to the side and you lie down on the left whilst he lies down on the right.
“Good night y/n~”
You can feel his body presence near you. It kinda makes you feel uneasy for some reason. It’s definitely not because you find him really attractive or anything. You don’t find him attractive.
It’s extremely cold due to the blizzard, you’d think being in the bed with covers on you would keep you warm but you’re absolutely fucking freezing.
“Am I the only one completely shivering here?” Beomgyu turns to face you, also cold.
“No you’re not the only one. Do you not have the heating on or something?”
“It’s broken. They still haven’t fixed it.”
“Seriously what’s wrong with your building?”
“I have no idea…You know what this means y/n...? A grin slowly appearing on his face.
“What?”
“We have to cuddle…or we might actually die…” Beomgyu wiggles his eyebrows.
“We’re not cuddling.”
“We’re both freezing! It totally calls for it! This is literally the only one bed trope in real life.”
“You didn’t just say that…”
“We’re living our wattpad moment right now. Don’t you wanna cuddle with your love interest?” Beomgyu makes a kissy face at you and you put your hand to shield him from whatever he was doing, used to his flirty antics by now.
"You'd never be my love interest." It's not that you didn't want to but you're sure your heart would literally give out if you did.
Beomgyu gasps, "How can you say that when I'm so handsome?"
"That's a very generous word to describe yourself."
"I'm going to pretend you didn't just say that and that the offer still stands. This is a LIFE or DEATH situation. We will freeze to death. And die. DIE. "
Well it was very cold. You sigh, "Fine. Come here."
"What? No, you come here."
"I want to be big spoon though!"
"So do I!" You narrow your eyes at him and he does the same.
"Well, we both can't obviously be the big spoon." Beomgyu gives you a deadpan look.
So you both settle for both of you coming in to hug each other, you arms around his waist, his around yours, his head resting snuggly on your shoulder with a content smile. You instantly felt warmer, beomgyu so warm and so close. You were freaking out to say the least but you tried your hardest to seem casual about it all.
“Beomgyu, how did the rumour of you being a fuckboy come about anyway?” You ask, not wanting to go to sleep just yet.
“I don’t know because I can be quite flirty. And there was also this guy that I used to be good friends with and his chick was like in love with me and one time she just randomly kissed me at a party and he got mad at me, saying I was trying to steal his girl even though I literally did nothing and he knew that but then he just started beating me up! And told everyone I was a girlfriend stealer and a fuckboy. We stopped being friends. He still carried on dating that girl, she broke up with him a few months ago though.”
“Oh…”
“Yeah. It kinda sucks to be honest because people either hate me for no actual reason or people at parties just think I’m an easy fuck and only want to fuck me.” Beomgyu pouts.
“Why were you a virgin for so long?”
“Because everyone thought I was like really good at sex if I was a fuckboy so every time I was close to fucking someone I’d just get really nervous they’d think I was super amazing and I couldn’t tell them I was a virgin so I’d just back out.”
“How come you let me?”
“Because we’re close friends! And you know and I didn’t feel like that with you.”
“We’re close…?” Your eyes widen.
“What?! I’m offended you don’t think the same. We’re literally cuddling right now. And we work and hang out together all the time?!”
To be honest, you thought guys were more like acquaintances. You were just working on the performance and helping him with his business, but for him to call you a close friend made you kinda warm and fuzzy inside. You wanted to be Beomgyu’s friend. He was cool actually.
Please actually reblog !!!!!! and comment !!!! if you like the fic. It’s really appreciated tysm !<3🙏💕😊 It’s discouraging when fics have such little reblogs 🤨👎Feedback is always appreciated it makes me happy :)

Prompt: With omegas completely removed from society, they needed their own communities and institutions to grow. All your life you had lived and gone to school alongside your fellow omegas, and orphaned alphas. You had managed to keep yourself together, but now at the university level, keeping your secret had grown impossible. You had to face your fears and make friends with an alpha eventually, and now was the time.
Tumblr media
“Can you believe it!? Tomorrow is graduation…”
“… yay…”
“Could you be any more excited?”
You sighed, staring up at the blank ceiling. You had honestly been dreading this day for years now, but it finally caught up to you. Graduation should be something to celebrate, but it just meant things were going to get harder for you. It was the reason why you were still awake so late into the night. You were anxious about tomorrow, whereas your roommate and best friend Jisung was excited. Even if he was making a joke he knew what was on your mind.
“Y/n… after graduation we’re gonna be moved to a different campus, a bigger one, and there-”
“I know.”
“You’re gonna get found out sooner or later… you should tell someone so-”
“No. I’m fine.”
“Y/n… you can’t hide this forever…”
“You can’t tell anyone!”
“Y/n-”
“Promise me, Jisung.”
“I promise I won’t tell anyone… but I am worried about you…”
“I’ll be fine. I’ll figure something out.”
“Don’t forget I’m here for you.”
“I won’t. Thanks, Jisung.”
“We should probably get some sleep though.” Jisung chuckled. “Big day tomorrow.”
“Yeah… good night, Jisung.”
“Good night, y/n.”
♥♥♥♥♥
Even if you only slept a few hours you still needed to be up early for graduation. You woke up before Jisung, letting him sleep in a bit more before getting him out of bed. Both your outfits were simple, but you still had to check in early at the ceremony site. It was kind of weird to have such a big celebration considering no one was here to see you. All the alphas and omegas here were orphans, never having known their parents. Besides faculty and staff, and the graduates themselves, no one else would be present. It made it feel like something was missing, but then again you just wanted this whole thing over with. After the long ceremony everyone was given a few hours to refresh and rest before the big party would begin. Of course you had no desire to attend, so you were just glad you could turn in early and enjoy a quiet night.
“Are you really not going?”
“It’s not her scene, Felix.” Jisung explained. “You gonna be alright?”
“Yup.” You smiled. “The whole dorm is gonna be quiet, so it’s like I have it all to myself.”
“That doesn’t sound bad at all. I’ll message you when I’m on my way back.”
“Cool. Now you two have fun.”
“Will do.”
Besides Jisung, you didn’t have many other friends. There was Felix who you knew pretty well, but he was more Jisung’s friend than yours. You were just fine with your mini circle of friends, although you weren’t sure how it would develop going forward. After graduation everyone got a week to just do as they pleased before the moving began. No one really had much to their name so when it came time to move it was fairly easy. You got lucky that Jisung was still your roommate, and you both loved the spacious upgrade to your dorm situation.
While in your high school years your dorm was pretty small, and for omegas only, the alphas had their own building. The school itself was also a decent size that could accommodate everyone that was there. For those couple years the alphas and omegas were separated with a few classes being co-ed. It would still be the same at the university level, but there was more of a choice. The alphas still had certain classes to take that were only for them, but omegas could pursue any type of knowledge by either taking omega only classes, or the co-ed ones.
The campus itself was also different. There were more students around in general. Those a year ahead of you, and also other incoming freshmen from other academies. It did feel a bit overwhelming, but you had a plan to make things easier for yourself. Besides the classes, there were some omega only spaces, and you’d be sticking to those. You wanted to pursue science and learn more about your world, whereas Jisung was excited to get into the arts. He was always very creative and passionate so you were excited to see where things went for him.
You took omega only classes, and afterwards you’d continue your studies in the library. There was an omegas only section there, and you always reserved a study room for yourself. On occasion Jisung and Felix would join you, having homework they needed to do. If you weren’t in class or at the library you’d simply go back to your dorm. There were plenty of omega only activities that you could participate in, but you preferred to keep for yourself. Although you were glad there was an arts class you and Jisung shared, Felix too.
“Y/n, you’re not looking too good.” Felix commented. “Are you okay?”
“Hm? I’m just tired, stayed up late last night studying.”
“Why did you choose science? It can be pretty hard.”
“Yeah but there are some questions I want to find answers for.”
“But aren’t the more advanced classes co-ed?” Jisung mentioned. “You’d only be able to go so far.”
“I know.”
“What does that mean?” Felix questioned.
“Nothing.” You assured. “I’m gonna head back to the dorm and catch up on some sleep. You guys can use my study room reservation if you need to.”
“Thanks.” Jisung smiled. “You get some sleep.”
“Will do. You two stay out of trouble.”
“No promises.”
When you got back to your dorm you put your bag down and dived into bed, snuggling the sheets. Luckily sleep came easy, so you got some good rest. You woke up a few hours later, checking the time and seeing you still had some daylight. You got out of bed to freshen up so you could do your assignments. While you were in the bathroom you heard the door unlocking, a bit surprised to hear that Jisung was back so soon. Usually he’d barely be getting out of a class at this time.
You stepped out to go greet him, and then the scent hit you. Jisung wasn’t at the door, it was an alpha. You quickly scrambled back to the bathroom and locked the door. You were already finding it difficult to breathe but you needed to calm down in order to hide yourself. You had no idea why an alpha was in your dorm, or how they got a key, but you didn’t care for it. All you wanted was for them to leave. You heard some rummaging around, and then things got quiet. You thought maybe they had left, but then you heard the bathroom door knob jiggle, followed by a knock.
“Are you okay in there?”
The voice was not Jisung at all, nor was it anyone you recognized. Of course it wasn’t anybody you knew, you didn’t socialize with alphas.
“I’m fine!” You stammered out. “Please… please leave…”
“Are you sure? You sound stressed and your scent-”
“Go away!”
You wanted to get away from the door and wound up tripping over the floor mat. You hit your head against the wall, reaching over to the wound and feeling the throbbing from the pain.
“Are you okay!”
Now the alpha was trying to open the door again with far greater urgency. Your vision was a bit blurry, but hearing the alpha try to break in shot your fear up to eleven. With the pain in your head, and the feeling of impending doom it was becoming very hard to breathe or focus. You screamed when you heard the alpha throwing themselves against the door. You were frozen in fear, starting to cry, and desperately hoping they’d hear your cries for them stop. It didn’t help though, and soon enough the door swung open. You couldn’t see the alpha through your tears, but they didn’t hesitate to approach you, even if you tried to push them away.
“Let me see. Are you hurt?”
The alpha pulled you into their arms and moved your hand away, examining your head. Thankfully you weren’t bleeding, but now that they were close they could smell the fear and panic on you.
“What’s wrong? Did someone-”
“Go away!”
You tried to push the alpha away from you again, but they only grabbed your hands which made you squirm all the more. You desperately tried to pull away but they kept their grasp firm, and only pulled you closer to them. They spoke softly to you, looking at you with sincere concern on their face.
“What’s wrong? Why are you crying?” The alpha asked. “It’s okay, you’re not bleeding. You’re not hurt, you’re just fine.”
You continued to scream and thrash, just wanting the alpha to leave you alone and go away but they weren’t listening. Instead they pulled you into their embrace and wrapped their arms around you, trying to sooth you.
“Deep breaths, it’s okay, everything’s going to be okay.”
You couldn’t get away from their scent now that your face was buried in their chest. They smelled nice, and you could definitely tell they were trying to calm you down but it was directly clashing with your desire to escape. You were still trying to fight, but their scent was getting to you, turning your screams into silent cries.
“There, there, you’re okay, you’re okay, I got you.”
“Y/N!”
Jisung returned to the dorm out of breath, looking around in a panic while calling your name. Soon enough he found you in the bathroom and his eyes went wide.
“Let her go, Chan!”
Without hesitation Jisung pulled Chan away from you, shoving him out of the bathroom and focusing his attention on you.
“Are you okay, y/n? Hey, can you hear me?”
“… jisung… is that… you…”
“Yeah, yeah, it’s me. Are you okay? I’m so sorry.”
“… jisung…”
You were still scared and out of it, your eyes were starting to tear up again. You could barely talk through your sobs.
“It’s okay, I’m here, it’s okay. Let’s get you out of these clothes and into a shower.”
Jisung got up to turn on the shower head, making sure the water was warm before putting you under it. He got you out of your shirt, and took off his own jacket, holding it out to you.
“Here. That’s my scent, just take a deep breath. You’re okay.”
“Jisung-”
“Get out!”
Jisung got up and pushed Chan away, shoving him out of the dorm. The other boy didn’t fight him, but was very confused over the situation.
“Jisung, what-”
“Get out before security realizes you’re here. And not a word of this to anyone!”
“What just happened!?”
“Nothing, now go.”
Jisung shut the door and took a breath before getting back to you. He found you with your face buried in his jacket, now completely soaked from the water. After a while he helped you out of the shower, drying you off with a towel and tossing your wet clothes in the corner. You leaned against him, resting your head on his chest, breathing in his scent and gradually calming down. You felt much better now.
“I’m sorry.” Jisung apologized. “It slipped my mind that you were in the dorm. I thought it’d be no problem to have Chan come and get something of his while I was in class. This is all my fault, I’m so sorry.”
“It’s fine… nothing bad happened…”
“I’ll talk to him, make sure-”
“It’s okay, Jisung. I’m glad you’ve made friends.”
“You can be mad at me, you know.”
“Why would I be mad?”
“I don’t know. I put you in danger…”
“It wasn’t your fault.” You assured. “How did you meet this alpha anyway?”
“Oh, we’re in the same class and share a couple interests. So we kind of hit it off from there.”
“Look at you, making friends.”
“Stop it.”
“Just saying. I’m happy for you.”
It took a bit but you were able to put the whole thing behind you and continue with your life. Jisung didn’t bring it up again, but he was a bit more cautious around you. The only difference was that every now and then you would see Chan around Jisung. You knew they were friends and nothing bad was gonna happen, but you still felt uneasy. Whenever Chan would notice you around you’d quickly avoid his gaze and hurry along with your business. Besides all that you didn’t think anything would come of the previous incident, but you were wrong.
“Ms. y/n?”
“Uh… yes… how can I help you?”
“The headmaster wants to see you.”
“Wa… what for…”
“Please come with us.”
After one of your classes two faculty members, along with a security guard, approached you. Just seeing them put you on edge, so the fact they were asking for you specifically made it worse. You had no choice in the matter but to go with them.

“Jisung!”
Felix came running into the cafeteria, finding his friend at one of the tables. He interrupted the group conversation but he didn’t care. He took a moment to catch his breath before speaking.
“What’s up?”
“It’s y/n…” Felix breathed. “I saw her being escorted by faculty and security.”
“What!? Why!?”
“I don’t know, but she seemed scared.”
“Scared… what would-”
Jisung stopped in his tracks and looked over at Chan. The boy was silent, but a glint in his eyes told Jisung everything.
“What did you do!”
“There’s something going on with your friend and I’m trying to help.”
“You’ve done the opposite of help.” Jisung snapped. “Fuck!”
There was only one place you’d wind up. Jisung got up, leaving his things behind and bolting out of the cafeteria. Chan chased after him and caught up to him, holding him back.
“Where are you going?”
“None of your business!”
“Jisung, whatever’s going on isn’t good.”
“You don’t know anything!”
“All I know is that she was panicking for no reason and I wasn’t actually helping.”
“You have no idea.”
“Then explain it to me.”
“It’s not my story to tell, and it’s too late now. So let go!”
“You’re not gonna get her out of this.”
“I know that, but she’s also not gonna be able to speak for herself.”
♥♥♥♥♥
You nervously sat outside the headmaster’s office, fidgeting with your hands and shaking your leg. This could be nothing related to what you were thinking, but at the same time it could be. If that was the case, well, Jisung always told you that you’d get found out in the end. While thinking of him you suddenly heard your name called.
“Y/n!”
Jisung came running down the hall towards you. He was out of breath but still took your hand, pulling you onto your feet and into a hug.
“Are you okay?”
“I’m scared…”
“I know, I know, but everything’s gonna be okay.”
“Jisung…”
“Deep breaths. I’m here with you.”
Jisung took his jacket off and put it on your shoulders, pulling you into his arms. Just then the door to the headmasters office opened. The secretary asked for you to step in, but Jisung wasn’t going to let you go in alone. He kept a hold of your hand and pushed his way into the office with you.
“What’s going on?” Headmaster Shim asked.
“I want to ask the same thing.”
The headmaster raised a brow and Jisung quickly apologized. Even if he had the strength to stand up for you, the headmaster was still an alpha and held power over any omega.
“… sorry… I… I need to know why you called y/n here.”
“Why?”
“The matter may pertain to me. I’ve been her roommate since high school.”
“I see. This may pertain to you as well. Sit. Both of you.”
You both sat down in front of the headmaster’s desk, Jisung still holding your hand. You couldn’t make eye contact with the headmaster, and kept your head low. That way Jisung’s scent was right in your face and could keep you calm.
“Now. I received a report of unusual, and concerning, behavior in regards to y/n. I’m beginning to understand the reason for the report. So, which of you will explain?”
“That depends. You-”
“Mr… what was your name again?”
“Jisung. Han Jisung.”
“Mr. Jisung, you seem to know more about this incident than anyone else. I’m not happy with what I am seeing right now, and I need to know what is going on in order to fix it. So please, tell me what is going on.”
Jisung glanced over at you. He couldn’t imagine how you felt right now being so close to an alpha, but he could feel a slight tremble coming from your hand. He knew there was no hiding this anymore. For your sake he needed to speak the truth, no matter what happened. Jisung got up and pulled you into his arms again, softly rubbing your back.
“It’s okay, everything’s going to be okay.” Jisung took a breath. “Headmaster Shim.”
“Yes?”
“Y/n was assaulted her sophomore year of high school.”
“Excuse me?”
You buried your face into Jisung’s chest, trying to focus on his scent and not his words. You couldn’t help the tremble in your body, biting your lip to hold back tears. You thought you could forget that horrible night, but it always lingered in the back of your mind. You feared the day it would come to light as you had no idea what the consequences would be.
♥♥♥♥♥
“We told you to back off!”
You were always a loner that kept to herself. You only managed to make friends with your roommate Jisung, and were kinda friends with his friend, Felix. Besides that you stuck to yourself. You didn’t cause trouble, and you never wanted to, but it wound up finding you. There was this alpha in your class. Super pretty and very popular. He had both alphas and omegas fawning over him. You weren’t interested, but apparently he was interested in you. Because of that you had a target on your back
Just because alphas and omegas were meant to end up together, it wouldn’t stop them from dating one another while young. Even then one didn’t know what the future held. It made sense for omegas to fawn over alphas, but the opposite wasn’t so common, especially when it was an alpha crushing on an omega. What upset everyone the most is that you weren’t already crushing on the alpha, so the others felt like you didn’t deserve his affections. You only thought he was being nice to you, and you were grateful for that, but you didn’t think there was much else to his kindness. Although you’d soon learn it didn’t come with consequences.
You’d always stay late after classes to get your assignments done. So by the time you left the library the school would mostly be empty. After one of your study sessions you were making your way through the empty hall when you were suddenly attacked. A bag was placed over your head and you felt multiple hands grabbing you and dragging you away. You didn’t know what was happening, but you knew you were being taken down some stairs. Then you had your hands tied behind your back, and your legs tied together. The bag over your head never came off, but it was pulled up in order to gag you.
Once you were restrained things got quiet. You could hear multiple heartbeats around you, and some low whispers. Then you began to catch scents. You couldn’t identify anyone at the moment, but you knew that they were all alphas. You had never been afraid of alphas before, or saw them as greater than you, but this was seriously scaring you. After a long while you felt this crowd approach you, someone kicking you over onto your back. You moved over to be on your side but got shoved onto your back again, someone putting their foot on your chest to keep you still.
“You should’ve known better.”
“An alpha like that wouldn’t choose someone like you. So what did you do!”
“She’s just a desperate omega trying to get attention.”
“If you want the attention of an alpha there are plenty others to choose from.”
“So how are we gonna teach this omega a lesson?”
“I have an idea. Got this from the infirmary.”
“What is it?”
“No idea, but it’s not meant for students.”
“Are you sure it won’t kill her?”
“Doubt it, but we can give her a little bit just to be safe.”
You started squirming again when you heard them talk about giving you something, but the pressure on your chest only got more severe. You already felt like you couldn’t breathe, and the panic you were feeling only made it worse. You felt the bag over your head being lifted up, followed by a pinch on your neck. You started desperately thrashing around to no avail, and soon enough you began to feel uncomfortable in your own skin. It started off gradually, like a fever, but it was soon becoming unbearable. You didn’t want to cry, but you were certainly screaming into the gag, desperate for anything to make this feeling go away.
You could hear laughter though. Everyone had stepped back to watch the show, to watch you suffer. After a while you stopped screaming and were just crying for help, but they all ignored you. Sometimes they’d step forward to kick you, wanting to see your reaction. Your head was spinning, and your body was tired from fighting the restraints. You were certain you were going to pass out soon enough, but they weren’t gonna let you go quietly. Now that you had calmed down they got closer, poking at you softly. Even if they were so close you couldn’t identify anyone, all you had was a mixing scent of alphas and no one else. They kept bothering you until you actually passed out, realizing you were no fun unconscious.
Even when you woke up later you had no idea how much time had passed. You were still in the dark, your body sore and aching all over. You couldn’t even bring yourself to cry or scream, everything having been rung out of you. In this situation you weren’t even sure if anyone would find you, or if the alphas that did this would drop a hint as to where you were. The thought of dying there crossed your mind, it was so grim, but you had no idea what those alphas were capable of doing. At some point you must have passed out again, but with the bag over your head it was hard to figure out if you were really awake or not.
“Y/n!”
You heard your name being called, and even though you were exhausted your body tensed up. You were trembling from fear, whimpering as well. When you felt a hand on you your body flinched.
“I’m sorry… just…”
You felt the bag come off your head and immediately shut your eyes. You needed a second to adjust to the light. Whoever was here helped you sit up, giving your arms a bit of a break. You slowly peeked your eyes open, coming to find a familiar face. You felt tears well up in your eyes, your body relaxing a bit as well.
“What happened to you…”
Jisung undid your arms and legs, getting the gag off you as well. Once you were free you started crying and Jisung gently pulled you into his arms. Breathing in his scent further put you at ease, and he just held you for however long you needed him to. You’d later find out it was the next morning. After missing two classes Jisung ditched the next to go looking for you. Everyone thought you were sick but he wasn’t buying it. After all, he was your roommate and knew you weren’t in the dorm. Not to mention when he went to sleep and woke up you weren’t there. He retraced your steps and followed your fading scent from outside the library, finding you in a wretched situation in the basement.
You were in no condition to be going to class, although you pleaded with Jisung to just get you back to the dorm instead of going to the infirmary. Despite his better judgment he did as you asked. Back at the dorm you took a cold shower, wanting to wash everything away. You broke down again and Jisung held you, doing his best to assure you that everything was going to be alright. When you were strong enough you told him what had happened to you. He wanted to go to the headmasters office now more than before but you didn’t want to make a big deal of this or get them in trouble. You sounded crazy to him, but you begged him to keep quiet.
Jisung kept your secret, but he also kept a closer eye on you. He didn’t leave you alone after that, and he could also see how you changed. You avoided the alphas from the class, all of them. You didn’t know who was responsible but the scent of an alpha alone would make you panic. Jisung was weary of all the alphas too, but he just focused on looking after you and getting through the rest of the year. Over time you were able to be like your old self, but he knew you’d never be the same again. You still avoided all the alphas, even the teachers. You were doing okay, but Jisung knew that the truth would get exposed one day.
♥♥♥♥♥
“Why wasn’t this reported earlier?”
To say that headmaster Shim was angry was an understatement. For a second Jisung tensed up from the shift in scent, but they quickly composed themselves.
“I… she didn’t… she didn’t want to get anyone in trouble…”
“The reason for the OCPD is to look after omegas. If any alpha were to go against that ideal then they are not fit to be agents.” Headmaster Shim took a breath. “I will gather a list of the alphas from your high school class and we’ll need to-”
“No.”
You were shaking your head, trembling in Jisung’s embrace. The incident may have been nearly three years ago but it felt like just yesterday for you.
“I’m overlooking the fact that you didn’t report this to me when it happened, but the guilty party can not go unpunished. Miss y/n here may not be the only victim to this type of cruel behavior. Not to mention a staff member from the infirmary failed to report a supply discrepancy. This goes beyond just the two of you.”
“I… I’m sorry…” You mumbled. “I’m sorry…”
“What happens then?” Jisung asked. “After you catch those responsible.”
“They’ll be removed from the institution and miss y/n needs to begin therapy.”
“Therapy?”
“She’s been trembling since she set foot in here because I’m an alpha. And her records show she avoids any interaction with alphas in general, not to mention her behavior in regards to the recent incident. You also need to explain that one. An alpha shouldn’t be in the omega dorm.”
“Right…”
“For now the priority is with miss y/n. We can have a separate conversation later.”
“Of course, but I don’t want y/n going through any of this alone.”
“I appreciate that, but you are also an omega like herself. Part of her therapy will involve reworking her relationship with an alpha. I’ll need to find someone to-”
“Chan…” You whispered.
“Huh?” Jisung questioned. “What did you say?”
“Chan… he… he’s okay…”
“What?”
“Is that your choice?” Headmaster Shim asked. “You’d like him to assist with your situation going forward?”
“… yes…”
“That’s good. It gives us a good starting point.”
“You want to hang out with Chan?” Jisung wondered. “Really?”
“He was nice…”

Familiar
Summary: Sam, Dean and Y/N are on a case, and it turns out Y/N is just the monster's type.
Word Count: 8.2k
Warnings: reference to nonconsensual sex, canon typical violence
A/N: I've had this one done for a couple of weeks, but things have been very busy and so I just finally got around to doing a reread/edit of it. I hope everyone enjoys it!
This one includes the writing prompt "character A flipping positions and shoving B against a wall 'now this seems more familiar doesn’t it?'"
I don't remember where I found this. I have a list of prompts I saved, but didn't include who posted them, so if you happen to know where this came from, let me know and I'll give credit to that person.
Also, I've had someone ask me to be tagged in new stories I post. I am happy to do this, so if anyone else is interested in being tagged, let me know!

I met the Winchesters for the first time five years ago when I was 22. I was in college and had just moved to a new dorm building that turned out to be haunted by a ghost. I had been the next intended target when Dean and his dad stepped in and saved me. That was the last time I would see either of them for a long time, but I never forgot the faces of the people who had saved my life.
After that experience, I was obsessed with the supernatural. Dean and I had talked a little bit before they left town, and he told me about how he and his dad traveled the country killing monsters. I wanted to do that too. I wanted to be able to save people’s lives the way they had saved mine.
So a couple months later I dropped out of school and started getting ready to hunt. I signed up for a gym membership and started going everyday as well as taking boxing and Krav Maga lessons. My life had given very little opportunity for me to build muscle or learn to fight. But I wasn’t stupid enough to go into a fight with a supernaturally strong creature completely unprepared.
I gave myself a year to get in shape and learn to defend myself. During this time, I put every spare minute I had into research. I looked into what kinds of monsters were out there, how to kill them, which ones were most common. While doing all this research, I ran into a man named Bobby Singer. He had all kinds of helpful information and taught me how to track them down. I started the process of purchasing weapons I would need and also saving up money.
Once I felt ready, I set off on my first hunt. The overwhelming satisfaction I felt at saving a person from the ghost that had been haunting them was too much to ignore. I knew without a doubt now that this is what I should be doing with my life. So I went on another hunt. And another.
Things were a little rough going at first and I got more injuries than I cared to admit – fighting a trained professional in a controlled environment wasn’t the same as going up against an angry monster – but my fighting skills improved and things started going smoother soon enough. I didn’t regret my choices.
I ran into Dean a little over a year later. I was looking into what I suspected to be a witch and had stopped for lunch at a local burger joint when I saw him. I recognized him immediately and went to talk to him. It took a little bit for him to remember me, but he did. When he asked what I was doing so far from home, I told him what I’d been up to since the day he saved my life. He seemed surprised and impressed. Apparently the people he saved didn’t often take up hunting afterwards.
When I asked after his dad, he told me that they were starting to work separate cases on occasion. They still hunted together too, but not as often.
Since we were both in town for the same reason, we agreed to work the case together. It was difficult at times, learning to rely on another person and factor their thoughts and opinions into what we were doing. I’d never hunted with someone else before. In other ways, though, it was so much easier. I decided I kind of liked having a partner. Dean and I worked well together.
He must have thought so too, because the day after we finished that hunt, he asked if I wanted to come with him to look into a string of suspicious murders a couple states over. I’d been hunting with him – and occasionally his dad – ever since.
About nine months into our new arrangement, his dad went missing and so we picked up his brother Sam from school to help find him. Adding him to the mix had been another adjustment. That was two years ago now though, and we’d all found an easy rhythm together.
“We should go check this out,” Dean said, sliding the newspaper he’d been looking at across the table to Sam and pointing at one of the articles.
We were at a diner waiting for our breakfast to be brought out. Sam scanned the article.
“I don’t know, Dean,” Sam said, passing the newspaper to me when I motioned for it. I skimmed the article Dean had found.
“Come on, Sam. Three murder suicides in under two weeks. That’s weird,” Dean insisted.
“It is weird. I just don’t see how it’s our kind of weird,” Sam answered.
“Y/N? What do you think? You agree with me, don’t you?” Dean asked, confident I’d back him up. We typically saw things pretty eye to eye. Not always though.
“Well, actually I agree with Sam. There’s nothing here that really makes it sound like our kind of thing. But,” I continued, saying the word a little louder to stop Dean’s protest. “It’s only a few hours away and we have nothing else to do right now. So we might as well go check it out.”
“Alright, fine,” Sam agreed, sighing at the triumphant look on Dean’s face. “But I really think we’re wasting our time.”
“Right. Because we’ve got much more important, productive things going on here,” Dean said sarcastically.
“It’s never a waste of time,” I said. “Even if it ends up being nothing, making sure people aren’t being killed by something supernatural isn’t a waste. What if we decide it’s not worth checking out and it turns out it is our kind of thing? Then those deaths would be on us.”
“Ok, yes, you’re right. I already said we could go check it out,” Sam said.
“Well thanks for the permission, Sammy. I really don’t think we could’ve moved forward without it,” Dean snarked.
“Bite me,” Sam answered.
“Alright, cut it out you two,” I scolded.
The waiter brought our food out and we spent the meal trying to come up with ideas of what we could be dealing with. We didn’t come up with much since we had so little information to go off of. Dean paid our bill and we were just heading out the door when something occurred to me.
“Oh! What if it’s a siren?” I suggested.
“A siren? From Greek mythology? Like in The Odyssey?” Dean asked.
“What?” Sam looked at his brother in surprise.
“What?” Dean asked, a little smug and a little offended.
“What do you know about sirens?” Sam asked me, moving past his shock at Dean’s knowledge.
“Not much,” I admitted. We reached the car and I climbed into my usual spot behind Sam. “All the vics have been couples though, right?” I asked.
“Yeah,” Dean confirmed, turning in his seat to face me. “Is that important?”
“All I really know about sirens is that once they infect you they convince you to kill someone you love. The only siren case I’ve heard of had several husbands killing their wives before it was stopped. So maybe in this case once the men realize what they’ve done, they kill themselves.”
“Seems like the best theory we’ve come up with,” Dean said. He backed the Impala out of the parking spot and headed out of town towards the highway.
“Let’s get there and do some digging around before we settle on a theory,” Sam cautioned. “But say you’re right. How do we kill it?”
“I don’t know. I’ve already given you the extent of my knowledge on the subject.”
“Okay. Well at least we have a starting point. We can look into it more if that still seems like the most likely scenario after we’ve investigated things a little bit,” Sam said.
Apparently deeming the conversation finished, Dean turned up the music. I leaned my head against the window and watched the road blurring by.
~~~~~
The bar we were at was crowded, the music was loud, and the guy I was talking to was cute. Not stop and stare cute, but cute enough that when he came over to where I was standing at the bar and started flirting, I flirted back.
“So how long are you in town for?” Cute guy asked. I vaguely noted Dean in my peripheral vision, making his way to the bar. If I’d been paying attention, I would have noticed how irritated he looked. But I was trying not to notice him. He and I were just friends and would never be more. I’d accepted that. It meant I couldn’t let myself be distracted by him when there was a guy standing right in front of me who was interested.
“Don’t know yet,” I answered, giving him my best flirty smile. “I’m definitely here for the night though.”
“Alright, that’s enough,” Dean interrupted. “Come on Y/N. Sam’s waiting for us.”
“Woah, hey, come on man,” cute guy protested. “You can’t just come in here and force her to leave. We were in the middle of a conversation.”
“You were, were you? Sorry pal, but we’ve got important things to do. Go find someone else to bother.” Dean grabbed my arm and pulled me with him, away from the bar and towards the exit.
“Dean!” I hissed as I was forced to follow along behind him. “What is your problem?” I asked when we made it outside.
“What’s my problem?” Dean echoed, letting go of my arm and turning to face me. “What’s your problem? You know what we’re after here. What made you think it was a good idea to offer to go home with some random guy who for all we know could be the siren?”
I scoffed and started to walk towards the car, but Dean grabbed me again and pushed me up against the building. He stepped in close and put an arm on either side of my head, effectively caging me in.
“What are you doing?” I asked. It didn’t sound quite as irritated as I wanted it to. His close proximity mixed with the few drinks I’d downed had me too overwhelmed to hold on to my anger.
“Next time you’re wanting to scratch an itch in the middle of a case where the monster we’re after seduces people into murder, just save us the trouble and come to me instead,” he instructed. Then before I knew what was happening, he leaned in and kissed me.
I gasped in surprise and he used the opportunity to lick into my mouth. Finally catching up to what was happening, I wrapped my arms around his neck, threading my fingers through his hair and eagerly kissing him back. I never could have predicted this, but I was so thrilled it was happening.
He made his way to my neck. He kissed a couple of different spots before finding a spot he liked and starting to suck and nip-
I woke up with a jolt and a gasp. I quickly took in my surroundings and realized I’d fallen asleep in the back of the Impala.
“You ok?” Dean asked, turning in his seat to look at me. I realized we were parked outside a motel. The engine turning off must have been what woke me. I briefly met his eyes and was immediately bombarded with the images from my dream.
“Yeah,” I told him. I managed to successfully fight the blush that tried to rise in the presence of the very man I’d just been dreaming about. It wasn’t the first time I’d had this sort of dream about the older Winchester. I doubted it would be the last.
Dean went inside to get us a room. We unloaded our bags and made a plan. We decided the boys would drop me off at the police station to talk to the sheriff while they went to question the medical examiner. We would meet at a diner a few blocks away from the police station when we were done.
“What’s the connection between all of these people?” I asked Sheriff Jones once I’d introduced myself and explained why I was there.
“Connection?” He asked.
“Yeah. This many murder suicides in this short of a time, there’s something going on here. Maybe you’re wrong about the suicide part and it’s just flat out murder. Maybe it’s some sort of messed up pact these people made. There has to be something that connects them though. So what is it?”
“As far as we can tell, there is no connection between any of them. Sometimes these things just happen,” he said.
“How long have you been sheriff?” I asked. He was starting to get up in age, probably in his mid to late 50s at a guess. I assumed he’d been a police officer for a long time.
“Almost 20 years,” he informed me proudly.
“And in those 20 years, how many times have you seen something like this? Three different couples killing each other and themselves. One after another.”
“Well… never,” he admitted.
“Right. So what’s the connection? Graduated from the same high school? Go to the same gym? In a bowling league together? There has to be something that connects them other than them all being married.”
“Actually, they weren’t all married,” Jones corrected.
“I was told they were,” I said.
“The last couple wasn’t. They were roommates, but as far as I’m aware, that’s as far as the relationship went.”
Damn. Did this throw a wrench in my siren theory? Not necessarily. Just because they weren’t together doesn’t mean one of them wasn’t secretly in love with the other. Or maybe they were really close and loved each other in a non romantic way.
“Great. I’m gonna need a list of close family and friends of all the victims,” I requested.
“What for?” He asked.
“To find the connection. You figure out the pattern, you have a chance of stopping it from happening again,” I said frustratedly. How were these idiots not investigating this further? Did they really believe it was just all a coincidence?
Jones gave me a list of names and I left. I scanned the list on my walk to the diner, trying to figure out where to start and how long it might take to talk to these people. I rounded a corner and ran into an extremely attractive man.
“Sorry!” I apologized as he nearly spilled the coffee he was carrying.
“No worries,” he said, flashing a charming smile. “No harm done.”
Had I not spent every day of the past three years sharing close quarters with the most attractive man I’d ever seen in my life, I might have been caught off guard and turned into a mumbling mess. But my time with Dean mixed with the quick thinking and lying that was sometimes necessary for hunting meant I was able to keep it together.
“Still. I should have been watching where I was going.”
“Well in that case, I was just on my way to get some lunch. How about you make it up to me by coming with?” He offered. It only took me a few seconds of consideration to make a decision.
“Sorry, but I’m busy. I’m on my way to meet a couple of colleagues for a kind of work lunch,” I told him.
“Ah. Well, maybe next time,” he smiled.
“Maybe,” I agreed, knowing there wouldn’t be a next time. I sighed as I continued my walk to the diner. He was awfully good looking. Under different circumstances, I probably would have taken him up on his offer.
I walked the last couple of blocks and noted that the familiar black car wasn’t in the parking lot. I went in, found an open table that would fit all three of us, and sat down. I had to wait about ten minutes before Sam and Dean walked in.
“Hey. What did you find out?” I asked once they were seated.
“Not much. There wasn’t anything unusual about the bodies as far as anyone could tell. The ME did say that based on the most recent body, she wondered if the suicides weren’t actually suicides though. She’s looking over the other two bodies again to see if it could have been staged to look like a suicide,” Sam told me.
“That qualifies as not much to you?” I asked. “I mean, granted it doesn’t really up the weird factor. But what if they missed something else too? Something they wouldn’t know to look for?”
“That’s exactly what I said,” Dean said smugly.
“Whatever. I’m not having this discussion again,” Sam told his brother as the waiter came over. We rattled off our orders to him and waited for him to leave before continuing.
“Did you find anything?” Sam asked.
“No. I do have a list of people for us to talk to though,” I answered. I took the list out of the pocket I’d tucked it into after folding it up and handed it to Sam.
“What, the cops have a suspect list?” Dean asked.
“No,” I snorted. “Whether or not this ends up being our kind of case, I feel bad for the people in this town. Their idiot sheriff doesn’t even think it’s worth looking into. It’s an open and shut case as far as he’s concerned.”
“What’s your list then?” Dean questioned, leaning over to read over Sam’s shoulder.
“Close family and friends,” I answered. “I’m hoping we can figure out what connects them all.”
“Right,” Sam said. “It’s not like we can monitor every single married couple in this town on the off chance they might get murdered.”
“Actually, they weren’t all married,” I told him. “I guess the last two were just roommates.”
“There goes the siren theory,” Dean sighed.
“Not necessarily. It still could be,” I said.
“How?”
“Sirens don’t target married people specifically,” I explained. “They just make you kill someone you love.”
“So you’re saying they were living together as friends but secretly in love?” Dean asked.
“Maybe. Or maybe not. Love doesn’t have to be romantic.”
The waiter brought out our food and we made a plan as we ate. Dean wanted to check out the crime scenes first. Sam argued that we might get more information from talking to people. I wanted to side with Dean because I really wasn’t looking forward to interviewing ten different people, but I had to agree with Sam. Might as well get this part out of the way. We could look at the victims’ houses after.
~~~~~
Several hours and too many interviews full of crying loved ones later, we stood in our motel room going over the information we’d gathered today. The ME had called an hour ago and confirmed that it was flat out murder, not murder suicide. We hadn’t gotten any useful information out of any of the people we talked to today though, and we were all a little frustrated.
“Alright, well the roommate vics were extremely close,” Sam recapped, thinking out loud. “Which means Y/N’s theory on them loving each other pans out, leaving a siren as the most likely culprit. But how are we supposed to find it? We still don’t have anything that links these people together,” Sam grumbled.
“And why is it killing people?” I added. “Usually they leave the killing to their victims. Maybe we missed something.”
“Or,” Dean cut in, standing up from the chair he’d been in. “We'll find the answers we need at the crime scenes. Which I said we should look at four hours ago.”
“Yeah, Dean. We know,” Sam snapped.
“Let’s just figure out our next step,” I interjected.
“Maybe we should do some research on sirens. It would be easier to track it if we can figure out where they live, how they make people do what they want, that sort of thing,” Sam suggested.
“C’mon Sam, we’ve spent all day doing research on the victims. Now you’re telling me you want to do more research?” Dean complained. “What we should do is go to their houses. I’m telling you, if we want answers, that’s where we’ll find them.”
“Maybe, but we still have to know what we’re up against,” Sam pointed out. “Why don’t you and Y/N go check out the houses. I’ll stay here and research,” he suggested.
“Fine. Let’s go,” Dean said, satisfied with this compromise. He went outside and I heard the Impala’s engine roar to life a few seconds later.
Sam grabbed his laptop and settled in to work while I grabbed my coat.
“Let us know if you find anything,” I said. Sam assured me he would and then I followed Dean out the door.
We decided to split up to cover ground faster. Dean would drop me off at the first house and head to the second house himself. When he was done there he would pick me up and we would look at the last place together.
Dean parked outside the first house, a small blue one with a row of flowers planted along the front of it.
“I’ll call you when I’m on my way back,” he told me as I was getting out of the car. He drove away and I walked into the house, ducking under the police tape strung up on the door.
The first room I walked through was the kitchen. Other than a few unwashed dishes in the sink, it was spotless. I knew the murders had happened in the bedroom, so I didn’t expect to see much in the rest of the house, but I was looking for any sort of clue that would lead us to the siren. I took a quick look at the pictures on the fridge but didn’t see anything that would help.
The next room was the living room which was also clean. A cursory scan of the room told me these two were huge movie fans. There were several movie posters hanging up on the walls, an entertainment center overflowing with DVDs, and a little box full of old movie tickets. I didn’t know how this could be a connection with the other couples, but it was clearly a big part of their lives, so it was worth making a mental note of. Other than that, I didn’t see much. A brochure for a yoga class stuck underneath a pile of magazines on the coffee table. A framed picture of the two skiing was hanging on the wall. I noticed a coffee mug with what I assumed was the name of a local bar printed on the side. I made another mental note of both the yoga class and the bar just in case.
Then I moved on to the bedroom. Even if I hadn’t known ahead of time what happened in here, it would have been pretty clear. There was a bloodstain on the bed and the blankets were rumpled, like there had been a struggle on top of them. One of the pillows was knocked on the floor. The nightstand on the left side of the bed had been knocked over, a picture frame shattered beside it. And there was a second blood stain on the cream carpet.
I braced myself, turning off the part of my brain that wanted to be horrified and turn away from the scene. I looked around the room for any sort of clue as to who the siren might be or where it might have gone. It would be a lot easier if I knew what exactly I was looking for. Sam was right. We should have done the research first.
After thoroughly searching the bedroom and the bathroom and finding nothing, I made my way back out of the house. I wasn’t quite ready to give up yet, but I was getting more doubtful that this wasn’t something the real FBI should be handling. I stepped back outside and saw the cute guy from earlier walking past. He heard the door close behind me and looked over.
“Oh, it’s you,” I said. “What are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same thing,” he answered as I walked towards him. “I do believe that’s a crime scene you just walked out of. Not exactly legal.”
“It is when you’re FBI,” I told him, pulling out my badge. It identified me as agent Y/N Perry.
“That explains why I haven’t seen you around before,” he said, not seeming overly surprised by the news.
“What are you doing here?” I asked again.
“I live next door,” he told me. “I didn’t really know them. Terrible what happened though.”
“It is,” I agreed. My phone rang and I took it out of my pocket, seeing Sam’s name on the screen. I excused myself to answer it.
“Hey, Sam. What did you find?”
“Have you heard from Dean?” He asked urgently.
“No, why?” I asked, immediately worried. Before he could answer, everything went dark.
~~~~~
Sam’s POV
“What do you got, Sam?” Dean asked immediately upon answering my call.
“Not much, but I think I’m starting to figure out more about this siren,” I told him. I hadn’t had time to gather much information yet, but what I had found mixed with a quick phone call to the ME was starting to clear things up.
“Like what?”
“So get this. When sirens… put you under their spell or whatever, it leaves high levels of a hormone called oxytocin in your blood.”
“So?”
“So, I called the ME and asked her about it. There were high traces in three of the victims. The female victims. For whatever reason, this siren is going after the women, not the men.”
“Son of a bitch! Please tell me you called Y/N before you called me,” Dean said.
“Why? Aren’t you together?”
“No,” Dean growled out in a tone of voice that suggested stress and frustration. “We split up to move faster.”
“Alright. Well don’t worry. I’m sure she’s fine. I’ll call her now,” I said, trying to calm him.
“I’m going back to get her. I’ll call her on the way.”
Before I could argue that he was already worked up enough and should just focus on driving I heard a thump, Dean grunting, and then the sound of his phone clattering on the ground.
“Dean!” I yelled. No response. I hung up and headed outside. I needed to find a car. Once I had one ready to go, I started driving to the closest address on the list.
~~~~~
Y/N’s POV
The first thing that registered in my mind was the way my body was shaking. I heard a distant voice calling my name as consciousness slowly found me. It took a few seconds for me to fully wake up and process what was happening. The shaking was due to the hand on my shoulder, trying to jostle me into consciousness. The voice was Dean’s, and it wasn’t distant. It was right in front of me.
My head was pounding. I tried to remember what happened. I was outside waiting for Dean. Sam called. Then what?
“Y/N!” Dean said a little louder. I opened my eyes and immediately closed them again, hissing at the pain that shot through my skull from the bright light in the room. Someone must have hit me over the head. Who? No one else had even been around. Except for that guy I bumped into earlier. He must be the siren then.
I felt a surge of frustration at my stupidity. How did I miss it? I knew it was weird that he just happened to be outside that house.
“C’mon. We should get out of here,” Dean encouraged, pulling me to my feet.
“Just a minute,” I pleaded as a wave of dizziness rushed over me upon standing. I braced my hand on the wall beside me.
“What happened?” He asked. “You didn’t answer the phone.”
Once the dizziness passed, I slowly opened my eyes. The pounding in my head was intense, but it was more manageable when I took things slow.
“Where is he?” I asked.
“Who, the siren? Dead,” he told me. That was good news I guess. I didn’t know how much help I’d be in a fight right now. He was almost entirely supporting my weight. Then something occurred to me.
“How?” I asked, looking up at his face. “We don’t know how to kill them.”
“Well I had a machete with me. I couldn’t walk in here completely defenseless. When I saw him standing over you, I cut his head off. Apparently that’s all it takes,” he explained.
I looked around the room, searching for the body, and realized this was the house of the first murdered couple. We were in the living room.
“He brought me in here?” I asked.
“Well. It was close by. And there isn’t much chance of anyone walking in. Made it easy for me to find you, too. How are you feeling? Ready to go?” He asked.
“Yeah, I’m good,” I told him. My head was still pounding, but the dizziness was gone.
“Good,” he said, carefully turning me to face him. “I was really worried about you.” Then he kissed me.
I so badly wanted to be able to enjoy this. I’d dreamed about it so many times but never imagined I’d ever build up the courage to tell him how I felt. Or that my feelings would be reciprocated.
I placed one hand on the back of his neck and gave myself a couple of seconds to be sure my balance was good. Then in one quick motion I stepped to the side and used the hand around his neck to shove him face first into the wall.
“Ow! What the hell?!” He yelled, clutching a hand to his bleeding nose.
“Where’s Dean?” I asked, watching closely for any indication he was about to run or attack.
“I am Dean!” He insisted. He held a hand out placatingly and took a step towards me.
“Stay back,” I warned him. I reached into my boot and grabbed the silver knife I kept there at all times. “I know a shapeshifter when I see one.”
He dropped his hands and stood up straighter, a cocky smile gracing his mouth. He started to walk in a slow circle around me.
“What gave me away?” He asked casually.
“A few things,” I answered, rotating my body to keep him directly in front of me at all times.
“Like?”
“Where’s Dean?” I asked again.
“Oh, he’s fine for now. Just a little tied up at the moment,” he smirked.
I lunged for him, hoping to catch him by surprise. He easily blocked the knife I had aimed directly at his heart and threw a punch that caught me in the stomach. The force of the blow knocked the breath out of me, but I recovered quickly and slashed out with the knife at the hand that was reaching for my hair. He hissed in pain and quickly withdrew his hand.
“Don’t make this harder than it has to be,” the fake Dean growled. “You know you can’t win. Might as well save yourself some of the pain.”
My head was killing me and the dizziness was threatening to return and become a very serious problem. I waited for his next attack. I didn’t have to wait long. I saw his muscles tense to move and then he closed the distance between us quickly.
He reached out for the hand that was holding the knife, trying to force it out of my grip without touching it. I took advantage of the way he focused on the knife to kick his knee as hard as I could. His knee buckled and I used all the strength I had to push him into the wall behind him. I pressed the knife to his throat.
“Where is Dean?” I demanded.
“What gave me away?” He asked again. I couldn’t believe the arrogance. Did he really not care about anything but the fact that I’d seen through him?
“I’m not going to ask again,” I threatened, pressing the knife just a little harder into his skin. “Where is he?”
“Quid pro quo,” he offered. “Answer my question, I’ll answer yours.”
I seriously debated just killing him, but decided to humor him just this once. He wasn’t going anywhere and I’d get the answer out of him one way or another.
“First of all, Dean wouldn’t just sit there waiting for me to wake up. He would have just carried me out. Secondly, he has a scratch on his jaw that hasn’t healed all the way yet. That particular scratch is missing from your face. Third, if he’s not sure which weapon to bring with, he always chooses his gun. Silver kills a lot of things, so it’s usually the safest bet. Also, where’s the body? You said you killed the siren, but there isn’t a body. And as far as that goes, you don’t have a machete either.”
“Hmm. You’re observant,” he said. “Not observant enough though. Otherwise you probably would have seen this coming.”
His hand shot up and grabbed my wrist, pushing the knife away from his neck. He pressed hard on the tendons there until I was forced to drop the knife. Then he spun us around, pressing me up against the wall. He pinned both of my wrists to the wall and leaned in close, his breath brushing my face.
“Now this seems more familiar, doesn’t it?” He smiled.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I spat.
“No?” He mocked, pressing his cheek to mine and talking directly into my ear. “You’ve never dreamed about Dean pressing you into the nearest wall and kissing you breathless? I think you have. Many times. As recently as just a few hours ago.”
I whipped my head to the side to look at him. He grinned triumphantly.
“That’s right. I’ve been inside your head. I know exactly how you feel about this pretty boy of yours.”
I bristled at the way he had stolen Dean’s face, tried to use it against me, and was now flaunting that fact.
“You don’t know anything,” I spat. He just continued as if I hadn’t said anything.
“That’s why I chose you. It was pure coincidence running into you, but you’re a very attractive woman, so I figured I’d give it a shot.”
“Give what a shot? Murder? News flash, you’ve already done that. I’d suggest branching out and finding a new hobby.” I pushed lightly against his hands, testing the possibility of breaking free. That wasn’t an option. He was holding on tight, and I wouldn’t be able to beat him in a battle of strength.
He smiled and kept ignoring me.
“You see, I had to turn into you first to get in your head and see if you fit what I was looking for. It was a shock, of course, to find out that you’re a hunter. But it turns out you did fit my needs, and you and your friends were so far off the mark, I knew I’d be safe enough.”
“What do you mean, I fit your needs?” I asked. I had a plan to escape his hold, but as long as he was content to talk, I wanted answers.
“Well you’re in love of course,” he said.
“So?” I didn’t bother denying it. Like he said, he’d already been in my head.
“So,” he answered as if I was being extremely stupid. “Isn’t it so much better being with someone when you’re in love?”
I felt my brow wrinkle in confusion. Being with someone? What was he talking about? What did it have to do with murder?
I felt a wave of horror and disgust wash over me as I understood his meaning. He’d posed as the men the women were in love with and slept with them before murdering them both.
“If it’s any consolation, they died happy,” he told me. “Well,” he amended. “The women did, anyway.”
“So what?” I snarled. “You thought you’d come in here looking like Dean and I’d just take my clothes off for you? Just like that?”
“Well, not just like that. But I figured you’d be willing enough once I had some time to convince you.”
I remembered how he had kissed me before. I assume that was the kind of convincing he was referring to.
“We still could, you know,” he offered. He brushed his lips gently against mine and I jerked away. “You can pretend I’m him and I’ll give you what you’ve always wanted.”
“Right before you kill me, you mean?”
“Well obviously I can’t let you live,” he said.
“I think I’ll pass,” I said. I drove my knee up as hard as I could into his crotch. He may not have been entirely human, but he still went down as hard as any human man.
I dropped down to pick up my knife, doing my best to ignore the pain the quick movement caused in my head. I didn’t give the shapeshifter time to recover. I immediately turned to him and drove the knife into his heart. He gasped in shock and pain and then collapsed, unmoving.
I rose to my feet and made my way – a little unsteadily – out of the house. I was pretty sure I had a concussion and that fight had taken all the strength and energy I could muster. As I stepped out of the house, a car came screeching down the road and parked next to the only other car on the street. I didn’t know if I could really handle it, but I prepared myself for another fight.
The driver door opened and a tall man stepped out. Sam, I realized when he called my name. And the car he was in was the Impala. How had he gotten it? Sam ran over to me and put a steadying hand on my shoulder.
“Are you ok? What happened?” He asked.
“Where’s Dean?” I asked, ignoring his questions.
“I don’t know. I’ve been looking for both of you,” Sam said. “I found Dean’s car at the second house, but no sign of him. I was hoping I’d find him here with you.”
Just then we heard a muffled banging noise coming from the other car on the street.
“Stay here,” Sam told me, drawing his gun as he walked towards it. I was in no position to argue seeing as the dizziness was returning and I was struggling to keep my balance. He stopped by the trunk of the car. “Dean?”
“Sam! Get me out of here,” I heard Dean say from inside.
“Just a second,” Sam breathed out in relief. He tucked his gun back into his jeans and went around to the front of the car in search of the keys. He pulled them out of the ignition and then opened the trunk. Dean jumped out, fuming. He was down to just jeans and a t-shirt, the shifter having stolen the rest of his usual layers.
“Where is it? I’m gonna kill it,” he seethed, marching towards the house. He paused momentarily when he saw me swaying on the sidewalk and then hurried over to me. He wrapped my arm around his shoulders and put his own around my waist to help me stay balanced.
“What happened? Did the siren do something to you? Where is it?” He asked.
“It was a shapeshifter, not a siren,” I told both him and Sam who had followed close behind his brother.
“Was?” Sam questioned.
“It’s dead,” I said.
“That explains why my clothes are gone,” Dean said irritatedly. “Why is it that we seem to be leaving behind a trail of shapeshifter bodies wearing my face?”
“Well, you’re an objectively good looking guy. Maybe they just can’t resist all the girls they know they’ll get with a face like that,” I teased.
“Alright, well you’re obviously in even worse shape than I thought,” Dean said, half teasing half genuinely worried. I guess I haven’t ever said anything to him before about him being attractive. This concussion was loosening my tongue apparently. “Sam, you mind getting the body? I’m gonna get Wobbly here to the car.”
“Why can’t we just leave it?” Sam asked.
“Because I want my clothes back for one thing,” Dean replied. “And for another, I don’t want to be blamed for yet another set of murders.”
“Good point,” Sam agreed. He headed for the house.
Dean turned us towards the car and the movement caused me to trip a little on my own feet. The adrenaline was fading away, leaving me helpless to fight off the dizziness that I thought had disappeared.
Rather than let me stumble my way to the car, Dean moved the arm he had around my waist a little higher on my back and put his other arm under my knees, scooping me up in his arms and carrying me. I couldn’t be bothered to keep my head held up and rested it against his chest.
“What happened?” he asked, referring to my balance issues.
“He caught me by surprise and hit me over the head. I think I have a concussion.”
“You thought he was me, so you didn’t see it coming,” Dean said. He adjusted my weight so he was able to open the car door.
“No. He looked like someone else. I turned my back to take a call and he hit me. When I woke up he was pretending to be you,” I explained.
“I’m sorry, Y/N,” he sighed as he gently set me down, careful not to hit my head.
“Why?” I wondered.
“He took me out too. Only I didn’t even know he was there. If I’d been paying attention better, I could have stopped him before he got to you,” Dean said, ashamed.
“Not everything is your fault, you know,” I told him. I saw Sam step out of the house, a large body tossed over his shoulder. “This isn’t on you. And it doesn’t matter anyway. It’s over.”
I could tell he didn’t agree with me and he would beat himself up over this for a while. But he left to open the trunk for Sam and I was too exhausted to try and convince him otherwise.
~~~~~
An hour later Sam was watching over me while Dean went to take care of the body. I sat on the lumpy couch and held a bag of frozen peas to the back of my head in an attempt to bring down the swelling. I’d taken Ibuprofen as soon as we got to the motel and both the headache and the dizziness were slowly starting to fade. I’m sure finally sitting still helped the situation too.
“Why do you think it killed them?” Sam wondered aloud. “I mean, how did he choose his victims?”
“He chose women that he considered beautiful and that were in love. He turned into the man they loved and when he was done with them, he killed them,” I answered even though he hadn’t actually been expecting an explanation.
“He told you?” He asked, surprised.
“In way too much detail,” I said.
He was quiet for a moment.
“You know what I don’t get? If it wasn’t a siren then where did the oxytocin come from?”
“The what?” I asked.
“Oxytocin. It’s a hormone that sirens infect you with,” he explained. “Actually, Dean was on his way to warn you when he got ambushed. I told him that all the women had high levels and so it looked like they were the ones being targeted.”
My face drained of blood at the reminder of what that thing had done to those women. Of what he’d tried to do to me.
“I know what it is,” I told him. “And it’s not specific to sirens. It’s a naturally occurring hormone in the body. Ever heard of the love hormone?” At his nod I continued. “It occurs during childbirth, breastfeeding… and sex. That’s why he wanted women that were in love. He said it’s so much better that way.”
Understanding showed on his face alongside a mix of horror and protective anger.
“Y/N… he didn’t?”
“No,” I assured him quickly. “Not me anyway. I figured out what he was too quickly.”
Relief replaced the other emotions on his face and he stayed silent as he processed this new information. Then he wrinkled his brow in confusion.
“You said he chose women that were in love,” he said.
“Yeah,” I confirmed.
“So why did he go after you?”
I was practiced enough at hiding my feelings for the older Winchester from both brothers that I didn’t even have to hesitate to come up with an explanation.
“I guess he found me attractive. Per his usual pattern, he turned into me to see if I was in love with anyone and found out pretty quickly that I’m a hunter.”
“Then why did he turn into Dean?” He asked.
“He was pretending to rescue me,” I answered.
“Right, but why? What’s the point? If he wanted you dead, he had the chance. There was no reason for him to mess with you that way.”
I didn’t have a reasonable explanation for this, so I stayed quiet.
“He wasn’t just going after you because you’re a hunter. You fit the profile he was after and he wanted to-” he cut himself off and considered his wording. “He wanted to… complete his usual pattern. Because you’re in love with Dean,” he surmised, smiling a little bit at this conclusion.
I decided silence was the best option here. I couldn’t possibly contradict his completely accurate deduction. I wouldn’t outright confirm it for him, but I wasn’t going to deny what we both knew to be true.
“Y/N.”
More silence.
“Tell me I’m wrong and I’ll drop it,” he promised. I sighed.
“You know you’re not,” I told him.
“Then why don’t you do something about it?” He asked.
“There’s nothing to do about it,” I answered. “He doesn’t see me that way. And that’s fine. I’ve accepted it.”
“How do you know he doesn’t feel the same if you don’t tell him?”
“Sam, I’m really not in any condition to do anything to you right now, but I swear if you say anything to him, there’s going to be hell to pay in a couple of days,” I warned.
“I’m not going to say anything,” he said, offended by my assumption. “But I really think you should tell him. You guys are so great together. I think you would be good for each other. And I would be very happy for you.”
“Thanks, I guess. My head hurts too much to even consider thinking about this right now,” I told him.
“Alright, fine. I’ll let it go,” he conceded. “For now.”
“That’s all I ask.”
After that we sat in companionable silence while we waited for Dean to get back. Sam turned the TV on. I closed my eyes to block out the light and just listened to it, finding it to be a suitable distraction from the day’s events.
Dean got back probably twenty minutes later by my estimation.
“Hey, how are you doing?” He asked as soon as the door was shut behind him.
“A little better,” I told him.
“Good,” he said. He took the peas from my hand and gently felt the lump that had formed on the back of my head. “I think the swelling might actually be going down a little bit.”
He took the now room temperature peas to the freezer and switched them out for a fresh bag. He handed it to me and then sat down beside me, putting his arm around me.
“Is this ok?” He asked. He didn’t know the details that Sam did about the shapeshifter’s intentions, but he knew that I had been attacked today by a guy wearing his face.
“You don’t have to tiptoe around me,” I told him. “I know it wasn’t you. For the record, I knew the whole time it wasn’t you. I’m fine. I’m not traumatized and I’m not afraid of you.”
“A simple yes would have been fine,” he teased, pulling me closer into his side.
Movement from Sam’s direction had me glancing at him. He just smiled at me, looking meaningfully at Dean and then winking at me. I would have rolled my eyes if the action wouldn’t hurt my head. Instead I pointedly looked away from him. Things with me and Dean were fine the way they were. I wasn’t going to mess it up now just because Sam knew about my feelings.
A romantic relationship with Dean was something I wanted, but not something I needed. This right here – sitting together with my two best friends, knowing that even though I was temporarily unable to defend myself should it be necessary I was still safe and protected – this was all I needed. At least, that’s what I’d continue to tell myself.
“What do you want to do?”
Scraping the bottom of your cup, you scoop up the last of the creamy gelato, humming around the plastic spoon in contemplation. You really haven’t given it much thought. Your only goal is to be free from your parents and the life they have set for you—which you’ve just told Felix, and everything you have been planning once the school year commences.
“I- I don’t know. Honestly I didn’t even think about it, all I know is, I want to be in charge of my own life for once.” You say, dropping the spoon into the empty cup. “I’ve just enrolled myself in General Studies for now.”
Felix nods in understanding. He reaches forward to pinch your cheek, a comforting smile on his face. “You’ll figure it out. I know you will,” he then gets up to throw your cups away.
“How about you? Where will you be living?” You lift your gaze, squinting through the sunlight. He has told you about the tech university he’ll be attending in September. Like the school you’ve chosen, it is also in the heart of the city, so it would be a bit of a drive from your town.
He returns to his spot next to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. “My older sister lives pretty close by so I’ll be moving in with her.”
You grin excitedly and lean into him. “So you’ll be near.”
His eyes crinkle with glee. “I’ll be near.”
“Oh, and just so you know,” his brows raise as you move your lips by his ear, speaking in a hushed tone. “I’ve applied for a single dorm.”
When you pull away, his dark eyes bore into your own and he deadpans, “I guess that means no more fooling around in churches.”
You laugh, resting your head against his chest.
Felix jerks from suppressing his own laughter, and buries his face into your hair. “Still can’t believe we did that… I hope we didn’t miss anything cleaning up.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll tell everyone it was Alice and Jason,” you say, placing a repugnant image in your heads. He dissolves into snickers.
It would be quite the scandal. Everyone knows that the aforementioned couple is waiting until marriage to even have their first kiss so holding hands is the furthest they could have gone.
You turn to him after a few beats of silence. “Hey Lix,” he quirks a brow when he hears the seriousness in your tone. “Do you really believe in God? Like if it weren’t for your parents…”
He pauses for a moment to think.
“It’s not that I believe in him—it’s more that I want to. Like if I put my faith into something, maybe I could also learn to have some faith in myself… Like I could erase my uncertainties about the future and believe that things will work out for me because… because you know, they always say that he has a plan for us. Or something like that… I don’t know…”
Felix trails off, suddenly hyper aware of himself under the weight of your gaze. He has the habit of rambling and trying to express his every single thought, which you find endearing, but he gets flustered when the things he says seem to go nowhere.
You get what he’s trying to say though, you know that he has had some issues with his self confidence and more often than not doubts himself. He’s the type of person that is too busy building others up with positivity, that he forgets to do the same for himself.
But you’ve been staring for too long.
A quiet chuckle leaves him. “Maybe you think that’s lame, but–“
“No, no, that makes perfect sense.” You assure him, waving your hands frantically. “I could never think that you’re lame.”
His lips make a loud smack when he kisses the top of your head and you both beam at each other.
“M’sorry, that was a lie.” You say jokingly, sucking in air through clenched teeth. “You’re pretty lame at Mario Kart.”
“Mmm,” he narrows his eyes. “I believe I let you win that time.”
“Sure you did.”
“Don’t get all cocky now just ‘cause I felt sorry for you.”
“You are mean, you know that?”
“It all comes from a place of love,” he murmurs before softly pressing his lips to yours.
“Love?” You whisper against his mouth.
“Love.” He affirms, grinning.
Your summer is filled with moments like this.
Biking through rough, gravelly paths, finding empty fields to dump your bikes onto. Rolling around in fresh uncut grass, revelling in each other’s presence.
Whispers of sweet nothings, limbs so jumbled up you don’t know where one begins and one ends. His rough, but plush lips, chapped from all the wind and laughter, made soft again when you kiss—until your mouths are sore and pink. Calloused fingers caressing your exposed skin, as if memorizing every curve and detail of your body.
“I remember the first time I saw you,” he remarks, breaking the silence that has settled upon you two.
Felix is lying on the grass, his arms crossed behind his head and face tilted towards the blue skies. You’re on your knees next to his motionless body, trying to get his nose just right.
“We were in bible study, and you were sketching in your notebook—just like you are now.” Freckles dance as the corners of his mouth lift up, eyes falling on your concentrated face. “You were so focused. Like you were off in your own world.”
You glance up from your sketch pad, ceasing the rapid scratching of your pencil.
“Think that’s when I started liking you.”
Heart skipping a beat at his confession, your lips part in surprise. “Really? That far back?”
His parents have been around ever since you were a kid, but Felix had stayed with his grandparents for a good portion of his life before moving into town, so you really only got to meet each other when you were both fourteen. You never suspected that he had feelings for you. He hid it well.
“Mhm,” he smiles widely now, finding your astonishment amusing. “You didn’t even acknowledge me then, but I always looked forward to watching you draw.”
“Psh–“ You scoff, returning to your portrait of him, struggling to contain your smile. “You fall in love way too easily.”
“Only ‘cause it’s you.” He nudges your knee with his elbow, but you refuse to make eye contact now.
Somehow you’re the one feeling all exposed and vulnerable, even though he’s laid out for you to observe and draw.
“Well if you liked me for that long, how come you never said anything?”
You can hear the movements of the grass when he shrugs. “Because I was scared?”
“Of my father?” A breathless laugh breaks through your voice.
Your mother is actually more daunting in comparison. Although your father has a stern and severe air about him, he is quite short and frail looking standing next to her. Your father never smiles, but your mother smiles a concerning amount, and they are never genuine—which makes it more unsettling.
“No,” he says it like it’s obvious. “Of you.”
This gets you to finally look at him. “Me?”
“Yeah, you,” his fingers tickle the outside of your thigh. He stares deeply into your eyes, pupils blown out. “Even now you scare me. You make me question everything I’ve ever known, you bring out this side of me that…”
“That?” You mutter, suddenly feeling short of breath.
WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT
Words are not needed. He pushes everything you’re holding aside, leading you onto your back. Tufts of grass poke at your arms and back, but he lays your head gently on his folded hoodie. Caging you in his arms, he gazes at you for what feels like an eternity, fingers stroking your hair, your rosy cheek, then your lips.
Felix whispers your name, so simple yet, it impacts you so intensely, you don’t know how or why but warm tears prick your eyes. Maybe it’s the way he’s looking at you, like you’re something so precious and worthy, or– you don’t know, you’re not thinking straight and you aren’t making any sense right now.
His lips are on yours in a flash, and you let yourself slip into that boundless space with him.
Your head feels light, every touch, every kiss, stealing air from your lungs. His body presses tightly against yours, hearts beating alongside each other.
Then he’s asking you a question, something you don’t fully process but say yes to anyway because the answer is always yes when it comes to Felix.
Sunlight pierces your eyes when he moves down your body, settling his face in between your thighs and pushing up your skirt. His hands are on either side of your underwear and he’s looking up at you for confirmation.
Only then you realize what he just asked you, and your heart pounds with excitement. “Yes, yes, please…”
The anticipation buzzing through your body is soothed when he finally swipes his tongue across your slit, fingers gently parting your folds and allowing obscene access to your most sensitive part. Felix is careful, calculated, his wet muscle swirling and laviciously curling around your clit.
Your body switches from tensing up to falling limp, swimming with pleasure from his ministrations. Expletives and sounds of ecstasy escape your mouth, urging him on. His fingers dimple the flesh of your thighs, keeping you open as he dives further into you, until his forehead is pressed against your lower abdomen and all you see is a head of hair.
His mouth has fully invaded you now, lips cupping around the bundle of nerves as he eagerly licks up into your sweet cunt. He groans against you, voice raspy and resonant. The vibrations only bring you closer to your release.
Your hips have started rocking into his face and he locks his arms around your thighs as he now messily eats you out, letting you use his mouth to your greatest pleasure.
Your mind goes blank, and for a moment, it feels as though you are floating. Felix holds you down, taking everything you’re giving him, thumbs skimming across your smooth skin.
He collapses next to you, breathing hard.
It takes a while for you to gather yourself, enough to say something at least. “How– how did you…”
Felix turns his head to you, smiling cheekily. “Did a little bit of research.”
“Damn good research,” you sigh, at a loss of words as you swing your body to rest against his.
He chuckles, pulling you tightly onto him, kissing you on the head then all over your face.
You are still dizzy from the day as you are biking your way home. Things had to end a little early because your mom decided to be a buzzkill and started sending you texts telling you to go home.
A melody hanging from your smiling lips, you walk through that door, only to be ripped out of your contentment by your mother.
She stands with her hands on her hips, lips pressed into a thin line. Suddenly you’re eight years old again, getting in trouble for something as trivial as leaving the kitchen tap dripping.
“Care to explain what this is?” Only it is a much more serious matter than that. A letter falls open from the hand she holds out in front of you.
A letter from school that you have hidden in your drawer.
You gulp, holding yourself firm despite your shaking limbs. “I’m going, mom.”
A smile creeps onto her face, more so a grimace, as she steps towards you. “So this is how you repay us, after all we’ve done to raise you.”
“It’s just a school.”
“Is it,” she laughs coldly. “You go to that school, then what? You stop going to church, start partying, doing drugs–“
You scoff in disbelief at her major overreaction. “Mom, that is so–“
“I have always known what you are,” she voices ominously, staring at you with pure disgust, as if you were vermin and not of her own flesh and blood. Then that piece of paper is thrown at your face, her countenance turning fiery.
“You’ve done it now,” she raises a hand—a scene all too familiar to you.
It triggers your fight or flight response and suddenly you’re ripping open the door, almost tripping on your own feet as you rush out of that house. Heart racing wildly in your chest, you bolt down the driveway, ignoring her shouts.
Hot tears spill from your eyes and onto the screen of your phone as you press the button to call Felix.
The Law of Fenton
Summary:
The more a Fenton tries to be scary, the funnier and lamer it is.
The vice versa, however, is also true.
based on @notoverjoyed's prompt "Danny goes to college and dodges the attention of the campus paranormal club as they try to figure out just what the hell he is."
Ao3 Link
“There! He’s over there!”
Danny sprinted down the path, just barely managing to scramble around the corner and pulling tight to the wall as a thundering cloud of footsteps ran past him. He waited a moment, straining his hearing for any sign they were turning back. After a long enough silence, he slumped against the wall with a breath of relief.
“Danny! I just have a few quick questions.”
He jumped, flailing his arms. “What the fuck?! Where did you even come from?!”
The man chuckled. “Don’t worry about it, just answer my questions, please.”
“Are you sure you’re not the paranormal one?” he muttered. “And I already told you no, I don’t wanna be interviewed.”
“We never mentioned a full interview, but if you’re willing—”
“What part of ‘no’ don’t you understand?” He pinched the bridge of his nose. “Fine, you want an interview? Talk to my secretary, she’s behind you.”
The man whipped his head around… only to furrow his brow at empty air. He turned back only to curse as his eyes darted around the side of the building.
Danny shook his head with a smirk, invisibly watching as the man got increasingly frantic as he searched the area. Well, at least the President was as gullible as the regular members.
---
Off and on, Danny struggled to get through his classes because, despite being more than a state away from his hometown, there were still people trying to ruin his life.
He thought it would be better here—no ghost attacks, no ghost hunters, no Dash—and yet, somehow, it was worse.
If he could go back and smack his younger self from 6 months ago, he would— deciding to use his ghost powers late at night to sneak into one of the lab rooms to staple an assignment together was so not worth it.
Someone else—sneaking in without ghost powers—seemed to catch him in the act and a picture started spreading around campus of a floating stapler, his name on the cover page of the assignment in.
Full.
View.
Ever since, he’d been hounded by these chuckleheads calling themselves the “Paranormal Exploration Experimentalists” between classes, outside his dorm, in other clubs.
They used to try getting to him during classes too, but his professors quickly put a stop to it. Whether out of the goodness of their hearts or out of hating students talking over them, he didn’t know and didn’t care.
He grumbled to himself as he angrily munched on a bowl of cereal on the couch, having pulled an all nighter and having a physics class in an hour. A rerun of some older cartoons were playing on the television.
Danny sighed. Oh to be a prey animal in a cartoon. It seemed like such a good life: going wherever you want and not having to worry about having the money for it; sneaking food from restaurants or unsuspecting humans; (third thing).
He continued to yearn for the simple life of a road runner when Looney Tunes ended. Class time was coming up soon and he was just about done with his sort-of-breakfast sort-of-dinner. Just as he grabbed the remote though, the title card for the next cartoon came up. In an instant, it was like a lightbulb went off in his head.
He couldn’t live the simple life of a cartoon prey animal—maybe temporarily if he jumped into the tv with his powers—but he could treat that pesky club president and the other jerks in the P.E.E. club to the same karma as an unlucky cartoon predator animal.
---
The following few days lent itself to preparation. After all, he had lots of reality breaking powers at his disposal, but without a plan, he’d just end up peaking their interest as some strange entity haunting the campus or, worse, they’d take it as some kind of proof that he wasn’t human. Which is true, but he didn’t want them to know that.
So, he set up a call between himself, Sam, and Tucker—he was going to include Jazz, but she’d probably yell at him or something for being so petty about this—and they plotted how exactly to scare the P.E.E. club shitless in a way that didn’t lead to Danny’s human identity, with many of the best ideas surrounding an item featured frequently in the cartoon that inspired him.
It was fairly simple: ‘Tom’, as Danny had started calling him, would be the first victim.
---
“Hey, president guy!” he waved a hand at the man, walking up to him in the hallway where he was sitting outside a closed door, papers and binders spread at his feet. “I’m ready for an interview.”
‘Tom’ raised an eyebrow. “Really?”
“Yup!” Danny squatted down in front of him. “If you get it done, you’ll probably leave me alone. So the sooner I get this over with, the better.”
“Well, yeah, I guess.” The guy pulled out a faded agenda and a pencil from under one of his binders. “When are you free?”
---
“I’ll agree to an interview with Tom.”
“To lure him out?” Sam asked.
“Well yes, but also to have all his club members’ attention on me.”
“They already have all their attention on you. I thought that was the problem?”
Danny grinned. “Yeah, but this way they’ll be more focused on hearing about the interview than poking around for other supposed paranormal stuff around campus. Including anything my duplicates get up to.”
---
Danny Duplicate #13 roamed the skies above the building the original Danny was currently sitting in. The duplicate combed the roof and jammed the lock by phasing some wood in it just for good measure.
“So, you’re some kind of invisible man?”
“Starting off strong, huh?” ‘Tom’ was no journalism major, but he was expecting some lead up questions. “Well, not really. Everyone back home can do this kind of stuff.”
“What kind of stuff, exactly?”
The duplicate began poking Danny on equipment placement. A little further from the door, he mentally responded, don’t want to actually get anyone hurt. Absentmindedly, he said, “Oh, lots of stuff. It’s like magic with how versatile it is.”
“Okay, but what is ‘it’?”
“Ectoplasm,” he said, before his thoughts caught up to him. Fuck fuck. He wasn’t supposed to say that.
---
“And you’re gonna direct a bunch of duplicates while also trying to avoid spilling everything in this interview?” Sam said, squinting.
“What?” he said, crossing his arms, defensive. “I can do it.”
“Danny, I love you dude, but you remember what happened during that scramble at graduation, right?”
“No.” He blushed. “No idea what you’re talking about.”
Tucker smirked. “I have the video saved on my phone if—”
“ANYWAY,”—he interrupted loudly—“I’m older now—”
“You’re, like, six months older—”
“I’m OLDER now. It won’t happen again.”
---
God. He can’t believe it happened again.
Danny’s duplicates froze where they were setting things up. Danny himself laughed awkwardly. “Y-Yeah, y’know. There’s always been a bunch of ghost sightings around Amity Park, y’know? So, uh, the most popular theory is that sometimes the ghost’s leave weird energy stuff behind and we call that ‘ectoplasm’.”
Tom was furiously scribbling on his notepad, nodding along. “And how does that relate to your powers of invisibility? Does this mean everyone in your town can turn invisible?”
“Uhh—”
---
“So,”—Tucker spread his hands, voice low and promising with ideas—“you could set up a giant mouse trap right on top of the roof. Then drag him up there with an invisible duplicate so Danny Fenton has an alibi from the victim himself.”
“Don’t call him a victim,” Danny said. “You’re making it sound like I’m gonna maim him.”
“Oh, and he could conveniently look away as Fenton while his victim is being taken—” Sam continued, speaking right over him.
“Guys—”
“Yeah, and then Danny can, like, turn up the ghostliness to the max on his duplicate and threaten them not to meddle in some completely unrelated supernatural rumour on campus.”
“Then Danny Fenton can pretend to be a scaredy cat and panic. Maybe call for help from the people eavesdropping on the interview to help look for the kidnapping victim too. So he can build up eye witness reports that make it seem like he couldn’t be the perpetrator.”
Tucker slapped a fist on his palm. “Oh! During the interview, he could bring back the fear of ghosts excuse from high school, which would help when he inevitably slips up too.” Sam nodded. “He could say he doesn’t know any specifics, but that he knows that weird stuff happens in Amity all the time.”
“I hate that excuse,” Danny grumbled.
Sam snorted. “Well, unless you want to gaslight the entire club or admit to being an amateur magician, suck it up.”
---
“I’m not too sure,” Danny said, grinding his teeth a little. “I’ve been afraid of ghosts my whole life so I tried to avoid learning any specifics.”
“Then, the picture?”
Fuck. The picture. “Uhh, the—the picture.” Oh, he really had to use that gag back up excuse, didn’t he? Ugh. “I really didn’t want to give it away, but you guys have gotten really annoying with the constant pestering.” He sighed. “I’m an amateur magician. I was using a really thin wire and hooks.”
“Is that so?”
“Well, yeah,” Danny said, putting on his most condescending voice. “It’s pretty obvious when you look for it. I’m surprised that wasn’t the first thing you ruled out.”
---
“You gotta scream.”
“I’m not gonna scream!”
“Danny, you have to scream,” Sam repeated. “No one’s gonna buy it if you don’t. You suck at acting.”
God, he hated it when she was right.
“Fine, but I draw the line at calling for help. I’m not gonna be some dude in distress.”
---
Danny Duplicate #1 hovered behind Tom, ready and in position. It seemed the other duplicates were prepared too. Good. He just needed to plant the idea in the guy’s head that he was a regular human and then he could strike.
“We did rule it out. We ruled out many forms of illusions from stage magicians. Professional ones,” Tom said calmly, tapping the end of his pencil on his paper. “We also ruled out photo editing as the person who took the footage is not only part of this club, but also a good friend of mine.”
Fuck, are you serious? Stupid Fenton luck at it again. “Maybe they should get glasses then?” He slumped back in his seat, putting on his most pathetically tired look. It wasn’t hard. “Look, I’m not trying to call your friend a liar or anything, but I really was just practicing some tricks.”
“Of course,” Tom said, disbelief clear in his voice.
He threw his hands up in the air. “I don’t even mind you throwing around rumours or anything, just quit hounding me everywhere I go!”
At that, Tom did start to look a little guilty. “I guess, regardless of if you’re telling the truth, we should probably back off a little.” Oh thank god. Maybe Tom was reasonable after all. Maybe he wouldn’t need to even go through with—“After all, we aren’t sure what you’re capable of, and if you get upset, you might hurt someone.”
Wow. Wow. This guy really just said that to Danny’s face. Suddenly, he was glad he decided to amp up his threat from the original idea.
---
“The mousetrap isn’t enough though. If I was Tom, I wouldn’t give a shit about a single ghost threatening me.”
“Your viewpoint is skewed,” Tucker said. “You’re, like, Ghost Threat Georg; you get threatened by ghosts so often that you think people get ghost threats all the time, which is very much wrong.”
“Your viewpoint is skewed,” he said petulantly.
“Look, I wouldn’t have believed it either, but going to school in a place with basically no ghosts means most days I don’t get a single threat.” Tucker shrugged. “And the ones I do are usually some of your old rogues trying to ask to hang out somehow. I haven’t gotten a legit ghost threat in ages.”
“Yeah, same here,” Sam said. “It’s kind of weird, but Tucker’s right. I’m pretty sure the trap is enough.”
“No,” Danny shook his head. “It needs something more. It needs something to really send the message home.” He grinned. “And I’ve got just the thing.”
---
“A very bold claim you’re saying to the face of said person you think might hurt someone.” Danny strained to stay loose and relaxed. “If you’re so worried, why not go to campus security or something?”
Tom waved a hand. “Security guards are functionally useless in this situation. I’ve prepared myself and my club members on how to defend themselves and others against paranormal threats”—oh good, Danny thought gripping his leg, another GIW scenario, just what I needed—“using purified salts, stakes, holy water, etcetera. The basics.”
Okay, the lack of any real anti-ghost stuff made him feel a little better. “Right. The basics.” Wait a second. “Just out of curiosity, what exactly do you think I am? Just some guy with invisible powers?”
“We haven’t pinned anything down, but none of our theories are that simple,” Tom flipped through his notebook. He stopped on a page and read aloud, “Shapeshifter, shapeshifter, dragon with camouflage abilities, shapeshifter, a human shaped chameleon, shapeshifter, creature made entirely of string that can unravel at will, and shapeshifter.”
Huh.
He really shouldn’t ask, but—“Why didn’t anyone think I was a ghost?”
Tom laughed. Fully belly laughed. “Danny,”—he wiped a tear from his eye—“you might be elusive, but you’re nowhere near scary enough to be a ghost.”
“I could be scary!” he protested.
“You were the only entry in the haunted dorm room competition back in October to make everyone laugh their asses off.” Tom grinned. “I still watch the video sometimes to lift my mood.”
“Hey, I worked really hard on that—”
“Anyway, it’s just not possible.” Tom said, talking over him. “You don’t have it in you to be some spooky spectre come back from the grave to haunt the campus. You don’t have a single scary bone in your body.”
Okay, well, Danny’s had enough of this slander. Clearly, Tom didn’t believe in Danny being a ghost so, whatever, fine. That was what he wanted in the first place. He was fine with it. Didn’t make him want to spill his guts just to prove the guy wrong at all. Nope, no sir.
He did wish he’d put more effort into making his plan more fear-inducing, but whatever. It might not be that scary, but it was gonna get Tom off his back forever and Danny was done talking with this jerk.
---
“And you don’t think this isn’t… a little much?” Tucker hedged.
“What do you mean?”
“It’s probably gonna scar him for life,” Sam said. “It’d still fix your problem, but I didn’t think you liked going that far.”
“What? No.” Danny shook his head. “You guys probably have a messed up sense of fear from fighting ghosts and stuff for four straight years.”
Sam raised an eyebrow. “You were fighting those ghosts too.”
“Yeah, but I’m just built different.” He looked through the list of equipment he’d written down next to him. “This is gonna be hilarious. He’s either gonna laugh his ass off or, if his sense of humour sucks, call it lame and move on. Either way, I’m freed from those stupid P.E.E. stalkers.”
“I don’t like this slander against our sense of fear,” Tucker said. “I have very normal fears. This is definitely one of them.” Sam agreed.
Danny rolled his eyes. “Fine, maybe, by some miniscule chance, you guys are right and his sense of fear’s messed up like yours.” He raised a finger. “But! At most he’ll probably get a little spooked and end up staying away because of it! So, I win regardless.”
Sam hummed disbelievingly.
---
He sent the signal. Off to the mousetrap with him.
He couldn’t see it, but he felt Danny Duplicate #1 salute him. On it boss.
“What—?!” Danny Duplicate #1 grabbed Tom around the middle. Tom wiggled in the chair, unable to move his arms or get up. His notepad and pencil fell to the ground. “Hey, what the fuck?! Did you—?!”
Despite how he hated it, Danny’s best blood curdling scream was so impressive it shocked Tom into flinching, even stopping his struggling to press his ear to his shoulder with a wince. At least the guy would totally believe Danny’s excuse after this.
The faint chatter outside the room silenced. Then all at once, people were yelling, jiggling the locked doorknob—one of Danny’s conditions for the interview, being alone with Tom so as to ensure his plan went off without a hitch—and Danny jerked his head up towards the ceiling. The duplicate nodded and quickly phased through the ceiling, Tom in his arms.
Now, what to do about the bystanders….
Oh, duh.
“A FUCKING SPIDER, OH MY GOD!”
The yelling and lock jiggling quickly started to peter out after that, followed by the faint sounds of laughter and one, “Jesus Christ, the lungs on that guy,” which Danny would take as a compliment.
He chuckled to himself as he shared his senses fully with his first duplicate.
The plan was going perfectly. Sam and Tucker didn’t know shit.
---
“It’s really not that bad!”
“It really is,” Sam and Tucker chimed in together.
“It’s not,” Danny sent a picture through their chat. “Look, see! It’s cute!”
“Danny, this is fucking horrifying,” Tucker said.
“Fuck, that’s so cursed, what the hell?” Sam said. “Why did you choose this one? Where did you even find it?”
“Doesn’t matter.” Also, they’d probably tell him not to buy stuff from people hanging out in the rundown bathrooms in the engineering building every time he happened to pass by. “What does matter is that it’s fine.”
“Danny, your plan is to restrain and drag someone to the roof, put them in front of a giant mouse trap prepared to go off, and have him surrounded in a circle of your duplicates, who are going to be backlit by green flames and wearing the most cursed version of a Jerry costume I have ever seen in my life,” Sam said. “This is not fine.” Tucker nodded his agreement.
“It is!”
“You’re not gonna be right about this.”
“I’m gonna be so right about this. I’m gonna be the most right anyone’s ever been about anything.”
---
Tom pissed his pants and fainted.
Damn, Danny thought as he phased the guy back into his club room, I can’t believe Sam and Tucker were three for three on this.
Under the Stars - A. Russo
The one where you and your girlfriend share a magical night together with all your friends before your lives change forever.
Word count: 1.5k
Notes: for the purpose of this fic we are going to pretend that Alessia didn’t leave UNC and she stayed until graduation. Hope you enjoy :)
Tumblr media
When you were younger, you used to dream about your perfect prom. You grew up with 3 older sisters, so you got to see all of them have their perfect proms. You spent hours dreaming about your dress, imagining what your hair and makeup would look like, and most importantly, thinking about your ideal date.
Unfortunately, that never happened.
Being a football player meant that you had to make sacrifices. So, when you had an international match on the same day as prom you knew what you had to do. You had to sacrifice yet another important moment in your life. Football was the best thing in your life, but it didn’t mean it didn’t hurt to miss the one night you had been dreaming of for years.
However, the universe seemed to have a plan for you, because when you graduated the University of North Carolina, you finally got to have the night you had been waiting for.
———
It was going to be the perfect day. You and Alessia had spent all day together, relaxing in your shared dorm room and rewatching the Harry Potter movies for the millionth time.
Now, you were in your best friend Lois’ dorm to get ready with her, while Alessia was getting ready with Lotte in your room. It was the perfect plan. Lois had agreed to do your hair and you and Alessia both wanted to have a grand reveal when you showed each other your outfits.
"So, y/n," asked Lois, sitting cross-legged on her bed as you sat in-front of the mirror putting the finishing touches to your makeup look, "are you excited to spend the night with Less?”
"I actually don't think I've ever felt more excited than I do now," you laughed, "I remember being so jealous looking at the photos of my sisters at their proms because I never got one, but now I do and I get to go with the love of my life. It's going to be wonderful."
"Gross, you two are so in love it's adorable and disgusting at the same time," Lois said after pretending to vomit at your love-struck words, "how are you feeling about everything changing in the next few months then?"
Ah, yes, you thought to yourself. The one thing you had been dreading for the last few years was now imminent. You and Alessia were no longer going to see each other everyday or play for the same team. Your upcoming graduation meant that you were both leaving UNC to turn professional in England. However, Alessia had secured a contract with Manchester United, whereas you had recently signed for Arsenal with Lotte. So, you were going to be going from living in the same room as your girlfriend to living hours away from her.
“It’s going to be tough", you replied, turning round to face Lois, "but I know its going to be fine. We trust each other and we are both going to be doing what we love for the teams we love."
"I think you two will be fine, I've had to watch how in love you with each other you are for the past two years and if any couple can survive playing on two different teams it's you guys," smiled Lois comfortingly.
"Thanks Lois," you said, before you turned back around and finished applying your mascara, smiling happily thinking about the beautiful blonde in the next-door room.
———
About an hour later, you and Lois had finally finished getting ready. You were so happy with how your dress looked, it was just how you had imagined. You had gone shopping with one of your older sisters a few months ago when she had flown out to visit you, and you had managed to find your dream prom dress. You couldn't wait for Alessia to see it.
There was a soft knock at the door and you instantly knew it was your girlfriend and Lotte coming to pick you and Lois up before you all walked the short distance to the building where the prom was being held.
You rushed to open the door and were met with the most breathtaking sight you've ever seen. Alessia.
"Lessi you look gorgeous,' you said, looking into her beautiful blue eyes as she stared at you so much love, admiring your outfit.
"You look absolutely beautiful my love," she replied.
"Ok you guys can be in love later," interrupted Lotte, "come on let's go before we are really late."
You and Alessia laughed as Lotte and Lois ran off ahead of you, eager to avoid being stuck third and fourth wheeling you both.
Alessia gently reached out and took your hand in hers, grinning happily at you as your followed your best friends to prom.
"I'm so happy to be going to prom with you Lessi, it's going to be even better than my dreams," you said excitedly.
"I love you so much, y/n," she responded, still staring at you, "you're honestly the most beautiful person I've ever seen."
"So cringy but so cute," you chuckled, "I love you too Lessi."
———
The prom was wonderful. It was being held in one of the large event spaces at UNC and everyone ws having a wonderful time, enjoying their last few days at the college before being thrown into the world of work after graduation next week.
The room had been decorated with UNC colours and was filled with balloons and sparkling lights, making it seem like a world away from the college you had spent the past four years of your life at.
You were with your teammates on the dance floor, dancing crazily to your favourite song, when you felt a strong arm wrap around your waist, turning you around.
"Hey pretty girl," said your girlfriend, giving you a lopsided grin, "Are you enjoying yourself?"
Wrapping your arms around her neck, you began to slowly dance with her, before saying, "I'm having so much fun Lessi, this is the best night ever."
You both smiled at each other, before Alessia leant down and placed a loving kiss on your forehead, rocking you back and forth to the beat of the music that filled the room.
———
After a few more hours of dancing, singing and eating a delicious meal with your friends and teammates, people were slowly beginning to leave, heading to after-parties or going back to their dorms.
You and Alessia had planned to go back to Lotte's dorm with her and Lois to watch a few movies before bed, however they had decided to go to Claudia's afterparty. So, your girlfriend once again took your hand in hers and led you out of the prom, taking you on a small walk to your favourite spot on campus. The football pitch.
You both lay down on the grass, watching the stars shining above you, and began to reminisce about your time at UNC. You talked about the first time you met - at the orientation with the rest of your team, the first time you realised your friendship may be more than a friendship - after winning an important match and watching as her eyes shone as you danced around the changing room. You talked about the first time you went on a date - neither of you knew your way around the campus that well so you ended up watching movies and eating takeout in your dorm, but nevertheless it was perfect.
You also talked about the future.
"We're going to be alright, aren't we Lessi?" you asked quietly, cuddling into her as you both continued to stare at the stars, her hands stroking your hair softly.
"Of course we are gorgeous," she replied confidently, "we will see each other on our days off and it will make us value our time together even more than we already do. Manchester is only a few hours away from London by train and we can call everyday. It's not like we are going to be playing in different countries."
You laughed gently, "Thank you baby, I just needed a bit of reassurance. I'm quite nervous about playing at Arsenal without you."
"I know y/n," she said, "but you will do great, I'm sure you'll win loads and score loads. Except when you play United. You'll lose then."
You laughed again at her confidence and love for Manchester United.
"Don't underestimate the Arsenal baby, we're the best club in the world."
"No way," she chuckled, shaking her head while pulling you in further to cuddle each other more, "United is the best. Always has been, Always will be."
"Keep dreaming," you replied, before slowly leaning up to gently kiss her.
In that moment, lying in the middle of the UNC football pitch, cuddled up with your girlfriend in prom dresses, staring up at the beautiful stars covering the sky, you knew that everything was going to be alright. As long as you had Alessia you could do anything, even if she didn't support Arsenal.
short story 💯
wrote a very quick story about a class i took in college. if you like my writing in my videos you may like this
Five years ago today I was clawing through state university. I had switched majors in an effort to come away with something more material from my college experience – but I was also trying to earn as many credits with as few courses to keep my schooling short and cheap.
I took a heavy weighted class in “media law.” A subject notoriously as intricate as it is absolutely fucking stupid. Anything you could learn, Disney will change tommorrow. The professor was an adjunct, splitting his time between the humble basement where boys with Pulp Fiction posters in their dorms fiddled with cameras and the actual law school where he was employed some miles down the road. I have never seen Pulp Fiction, but I’ve fiddled with enough cameras and enough of the boys who own them to have reviewed it twice. This is not a problem to me now.
Then I was stupid. Twenty. And basically friendless. I spent all my time trying to make something the same way the universe spent billions of years pouring hot soup into holes and hoping life would bubble out. I studied Japanese during quiet matches of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. I never got a win, and I never got an “A” in Japanese.
Weeks of school went by as I skimmed textbooks, got high, and thought about talking to literally anyone. Academic words danced around the edges of my brain like sand. I wrote essays on the same autopilot I write today. Feverish. Flowing. Fantasizing about what it would be like to go out with someone instead of texting a girl who now lived in Japan and making ramen noodles while listening for footsteps in a digital warzone.
I did all my work. I submitted it on something called “canvas” that the muscle memory in my fingers still types in search bars to this day. I never checked my grades. I knew they were bad.
Classes dragged me through the week on a bungee cord. I lived a block away from the bulk of them and found myself drifting in halls of buildings I’d never attended just to keep myself from meandering back home to draw a bad comic about a girl who lived in hell.
I knew nobody. I went nowhere. I struggled to do classwork alone on outdoor benches dreaming of someone speaking to me. I needed to live in hell instead.
My media law professor was late the weekend after our first term essays were due. I don’t know what mode of transportation he took to get from one school to the other but today the Carolina sun had drenched him sweaty. We were chilly waiting for him to begin.
“Just about every single one of you failed.” He spat and chugged coffee through the entire period. “While I first was grading I thought I was the one who failed.”
He didn’t let the moment of respite last. “But I also did something I’ve never done before.” He paced like my father did when a restaurant was closed early. “I gave out my first perfect score. Which prevents me from grading on a curve.”
He huffed, he assigned a new reading, and he rushed out like he had lit dynamite. “Do better!” “What an asshole.” The girl who sat next to me in every class spoke as if she had been holding her breath. “Fuck him and fuck whoever got that hundred.”
“I know right!” I launched in on her anger, feeling it too. Back and forth we complained. We walked off campus together. She had long blonde hair and towered over me. I had felt ugly and mousey next to her, but today I felt like her equal. It felt good to bitch.
“I got a fucking 50. What about you?”
“It wasn’t pretty.” I recalled how I stayed up the night before the assignment was due. I milked bullshit into a puree. I got a rush of adrenaline from killing someone with a shotgun through a door in an abandoned house on the outskirts of Pochinki. I was probably close to being expelled. “This class is too fucking hard,” she smoked and shook her head by a bus stop on Tate Street. “I’m not about to lose my freetime over it.”
“Right.” I imagined her at parties. Black silhouettes against colored lights and deafening music. Like The Social Network. “We should be partners for the next assignment,” she got out her phone and passed it to me for my number. I typed it in. I waved her off on the bus. We did the assignment together. We texted each other about our studies. We joked about finding the guy who got the perfect score and beating him senseless. I thought about talking to her about my art or what we were making in other classes, but never did.
Towards the end of the semester I had to plan the next. A whirlpool churned in my stomach as I clicked on “grades” on my campus’ online portal. I had an A+ in a single course.
Media Law.
My friend from class texted me that she was dreading the final. I texted her that if we failed I would kill Mr. Perfect Score. She texted “lol.”
She passed the course. I got my degree so I assume I did too. We stopped texting.
That professor emailed me asking me to take a course at the law school down the road. He said he would let me sit in and see if I wanted to change majors a third time. I never replied.
A law degree would just make Mr. Perfect Score a hundred times more punchable.
What is Love? 🦢🤍
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jeonghan realises what love it
suggestive fluff // y.jh // x idol! reader
Tumblr media
“Ok we’ll stop for five.” you called out to your members. You were currently at dance practice with your members preparing for the upcoming release of your mini album and lord knows you wanted nothing more then to hide in your bed and not come up for a while. The sudden absence of music allowed the nosiness of those next door to you seep in and you let out a little laugh at the actions of your boyfriends group. You had been dating Jeonghan for about a year and things had been better then ever, you were both under the same company and lived in the same building. So, unlike most idol couples, you were able to spend a lot of time together.
Grabbing your wallet, you decided to head to the vending machines during the break you had given to your members. You pressed the button to your chosen drink when you felt someone embracing you from behind. You initially thought it was one of your members until you tapped their wrist and felt a line of bracelets.
“Shouldn’t you be practising?” you giggled.
“Aye you might be your groups leader but you’re not mine.” he replied, pinching your sides teasingly.
You just hummed in response, “I missed you. Been so busy with the repackage not had time to see your pretty face.” He said.
“You saw my face this morning.” you grumbled, hiding your face in his arm.
“I didn’t get to take it in properly. You know Hoshi, Seungkwan and Woozi are going out to eat tonight.”
“I can’t go out Hannie, we’ve got our comeback in like two days.”
“Yah listen, I’m not inviting you out. I’m saying I’ll have an empty dorm,” he began massaging your shoulders, “Come over, let me help you relax before your comeback.”
You thought if you should. You initially had the intentions of staying behind and perfecting the choreography you had made, but the thought of unwinding with your love seemed very appealing.
“You're seriously turning into Hoshi, you’ve been nonstop you need a break.”
“Would you massage Hoshi oppa like this as well?” you teased, turning to face him.
“Ha ha,” he replied sarcastically, “I have to go back but I hope to see you tonight.” and with a final kiss on your lips and forehead, he disappeared behind his practise door and so did you.
.
.
It wasn't until two hours later when you knocked on Jeonghan's door.
"Come in."
"Seungkwan let me in." You smiled as you closed the door behind you. Your boyfriend was sat at his desk, watching something on his computer, but he instantly turned around when he heard your sweet voice.
"My pretty pretty girl." he said as he got up to greet you, placing a soft kiss to your temple. You turned to place a kiss on the inside of his hand as he held your face. He held your face so delicately as though you'd break if he did anything else. That was one of the things you loved about your relationship; as stressful as your job and life was, whenever you were with your love that seemed to disappear. You felt safe. And the feeling was mutual, life was hectic for Jeonghan, but in your presence he felt at peace.
"Missed you, probably won't be able to see you that much soon." you sighed, the realities of life coming to you as you wrapped your hands around his neck.
"We got now baby thats all I need." He looked up to you, silently asking for permission. When you nodded, he leaned in to press a soft kiss to your tender lips. He tasted like peppermint, and everytime he moved back you wanted more.
It wasn't long before he picked you up bridal style and took you to his bed. You laughed at his actions as he settled you down.
He caged your head with his hands, his eyes staring longingly into yours. The love he felt for you in that moment was evident in the way he smiled warmly. He took one of your hands into his, and used the other to brush your features softly, moving your hair out of your face.
"Can you make love to me?" you whispered, and if he weren't so close to you he wouldn't be able to hear you.
He couldn't bring himself to speak. And if any of his members saw him they'd be in shock to see the ever so cunning Yoon Jeonghan rendered speechless by the beauty of his love. His life. His angel if you will.
Nodding his head slowly, he brought up your hand to his lips, pressing a long kiss, his eyes not once leaving the sight of your beauty.
Shifting his focus to your body, he undressed you, with delicate hands, taking his time as he took in the sight.
In that moment time stopped for the both of you, as you felt nothing but his touch. His soft touch. Hands that roamed every part of your vulnerability, that wiped the tears from your adoring eyes, that made you whimper and see heaven.
In that moment Jeonghan forgot everything, his mind only on you, and in that moment he knew what love was.
roommates? more like roomfoes (jamil viper x gn!reader)
Where: You and Jamil become roommates, find some things to hate about each other, and the little things you do to support each other. As roommates do, of course. Inspired by this post by @viperwhispered word count: 2.6k words content warnings: -reader is not yuu, reader is in scarabia -foul language -scotch tape worldbuilding galore (ik each chara has their own room in the dorm, but let's ignore that and assume that each room wud have like 2 occupants.) -could be interpreted as pre-slash, established, or strictly platonic (don't you love the ambiguity of being roommates? you're both close and strangers at the same time i love it) ++yeah they argue but i call it ✨✨healthy conflict and banter
Tumblr media
Here’s the thing, when you started the new school year, you were grateful that you and Jamil Viper were assigned to be roommates.
The guy was serious, put-together, and most importantly lowkey, which was a blessing in the hellhole that called itself Night Raven College.
Aside from the initial intimidation during move-in day, you were sure that this partnership would be one that you didn’t have to worry about at all.
But oh how the tables turn… you didn’t think that you could make an itemized list of Jamil Viper’s annoying habits as a roommate but here we are now:
Grocery trips with him take Fucking Forever
You know that you don’t have to be best friends with your roommate.
But! A good impression was key to building a peaceful relationship with the person you’d be sharing a living space with for two semesters.
You know that moment when you and a complete stranger initially find a similar habit that you share?
That brief moment of excitement and seeing each other’s eyes light up and thinking “hey, this person isn’t that different from me. I think they're kinda okay!"
Take that but add the slow, horrific realization that this perceived common ground was not a similarity at all.
That’s what it feels like when doing the weekly groceries with Jamil. The experience was equal parts admiration and impatience.
“Wait hold on, how did he find that item? Weren’t they out of stock?” and “Did he really have to compare ALL the prices?” etc.
It felt like you were doing more than the required amount of shopping for college students. (Do two college students really burn through this much food?)
You didn’t have to be here, you could be seated at your study desk, hunched over your textbooks (ugh). Maybe you were just looking for an excuse to get out intent on being a good roommate.
“Are we almost done yet?” “Not yet, I’ll need to make one more round.” “Dude, we’ve already circled the store three times.” “I just need to get a few more items.” “Hey, that’s a completely new list!” Your eyes skim the neat lines of Jamil’s handwriting. “And what do you mean by ‘banquet for next Friday’? That’s a whole week from now!” “I told you that I could handle this on my own.” He checks his phone, then scowls. “Tsk… make that several more things to get.” “Seriously?!”
Maybe you should’ve taken his title of vice dorm leader as a sign of what was to come.
In the classroom, there was NRC’s fast-paced curriculum, and back at the Scarabia dormitory there were neverending banquets and parties to help prepare for.
He spontaneously decides to do a full clean of the room
Vacuuming? Really? Right at 5 in the morning?
Sure, it was the weekend and maybe he told you that he was planning to do that beforehand, but you were probably so deep into your essay writing that it probably slipped your mind.
Still, to hear the loud whir of the vacuum just before you slipped into REM sleep was pure torture.
He’s got headphones on, but you know Jamil is aware that you’re seething. He’s probably got that scheming expression plastered on his face, a ghost of a smile that betrayed the brewing malice.
Maybe this was to get you back for the few times that you put off your end of the chores. Or the messes from your alchemy mishaps* (We will revisit this.)
Actually, you don’t need to look, you can feel his pleased mood radiating through the flimsy blanket you’ve thrown over yourself in an attempt to block out the noise. An unwelcome ray of sunlight that worsened your building migraine.
And incidents like this are only the tip of the iceberg.
Coming back from classes and seeing a new rearrangement of the shared area in your dorm, or being greeted with an emptier fridge, or even getting evicted from your usual study corner as he checked for cobwebs (he wasn’t even giving the spiders enough time to start their webs!), stuff like this happened on the regular.
The surprise wore off after a while, but the irritation lingered.
“Jamil, where did my lab project go?” “What are you talking about? I only removed the food that was about to go bad—ah.” “Don’t ‘ah’ me! That’s a quarter of my grade you threw away!” “Put a label on your projects next time then!” “I was running on two hours of sleep!”
The both of you mostly resolved the argument by investing in a permanent marker and a set of sticker labels.
Jamil also helped you remake the project (along with a heaping dose of your own practical magic to speed the process, which would dock some points, but you’d take whatever passing grade you could manage.)
See, it’s not the frequency of his cleaning that annoys you. It’s the spontaneity of it that gets on your nerves.
(And maybe, the way that he constantly does it by himself pisses you off as well.)
If he just… asked for help every now and then, you’d definitely lend him a hand.
Not to say that you would jump at the opportunity to do so, but you would… appreciate a break from back-to-back alchemical reports.
Kalim al-Asim
At first you thought Kalim was nice, maybe fun. The guy was the polar opposite of Jamil and that was a breath of fresh air.
Until the Inciting Incident:
Once, you got up in the middle of the night and almost tripped over Jamil, who was sleeping on the floor (read: you actually stepped on his stomach and then you tripped after he grabbed at your ankle.)
Why? Because apparently Kalim decided to sleep over. Yes, he was using Jamil’s bed, completely at home, snoozing the night away as you fell into a whisper-argument with Jamil.
The rest just happened in quick succession, now you had a third person rooming with you.
Why does he come over all the time? Why does he stay just before curfew?
Sometimes you really just needed 3 straight hours of ambient silence to process readings and not some conversation about your lack of weekend plans.
Most importantly, why does Jamil just let this happen?
He has no problem nagging you, but when it comes to Kalim, Jamil only lets the guy off with an exasperated sigh?!
Jamil doesn’t talk about himself much. Or if he does, it’s because you demanded better conversation material other than Generic Small Talk™️
“Best friends,” “Childhood friends”? Yeah right, you didn’t buy Kalim’s story for a second.
Not when you would hear Jamil lie about his own wellbeing in order to prioritize assisting Kalim.
Not when he would come back to your shared room, completely exhausted and worn out from a full day of accompanying Kalim.
And sure, you were aware of the position he held as the dorm leader’s personal attendant. But the reality of it never really sunk in.
“How… long have your folks worked for Kalim’s family?” “...For generations.” He continues stirring the container of curry-flavored instant noodles. “No, shit, really? I’m sor—” “Don’t—” Jamil gathers himself with an exhale. “Please don’t say that.” The midnight meal continues in silence until the both of you empty your plastic cups. What was the right thing to say? You couldn’t find the right words. “Give me your dishes, I’ll handle these. You should get back to your studies.” All you could feel was frustration, at yourself, at Jamil, at Kalim, angry heat building and collecting at the base of your throat, bursting, exploding— “No.” You push your chair back, gather the used dishes while Jamil blinks at you in surprise. “You know what? I’d actually prefer to uphold my end of the chores as your roommate, thank you very much.” And then you turn on your heel to dispose of the plastic containers. “At least rinse the cups before you throw them out!” “Alright, alright! …germaphobe.” “I heard that.”
He could continue babying Kalim, he already made it clear that you couldn’t intervene.
But like hell you were going to let him do the same to you.
[...]
To say that Jamil was relieved would be an understatement. If he had to endure another school year as Kalim’s roommate, his hair was going to turn gray and he would eventually be sent into a heart attack somewhere down the line.
Before move-in day, he already had a system in mind for keeping the shared room in order. But for you to shut that down and suggest something as tedious as dividing the chores…
Insert “Press X to doubt” meme here.
If you could make an itemized list of his annoying quirks, Jamil could easily write a dissertation on your shortcomings as a roommate while including a detailed appendix of tables and anecdotes.
But that was more effort than it was worth, he’d have to settle for the worst offenders:
You work in “organized chaos”
To Jamil, that is a made-up term.
If you really knew where everything was, then why did it take you at least ten minutes to dig through your belongings for your lecture notes?
Sure, he can respect your diligence towards all of your classes.
He already has his hands full with attending to Kalim, he wasn’t going to clean up another person’s mess.
But those first few weeks of the semester, goddamn.
Origami birds from practical magic nestling in a corner of the cabinet, potionology ingredients and alchemy reagents stored along with the snacks, and your many, many failures at decoding ancient texts just sitting there, undisposed.
He won’t admit it aloud, but old habits die hard. If you confront him about it, he’s giving you the offhanded excuse that he just did it with the rest of his usual cleaning.
(It was an extra two hours of getting your workspace in order, but hey! Now you don't have to trip over your things.)
Isn’t it just easier to function when your things are easy to locate? (Now stop glaring at him and tell him that he’s right 🔫🔫)
*Even though you’d try your best at keeping your things from getting mixed up with his belongings, there were still some…accidents…
“Jamil, have you seen my pollinator mimic? “You brought another one back to the dorm?” “I-It wasn’t finished! I still wanted to make some adjustments and the two hours we were given wasn’t enough and—” “What does it look like?” “It’s supposed to be, um, a ladybug about this big?” Slightly larger than your hand, oh. Jamil knows where it went. He saw its antennas peeking out from underneath your bed, mistook it for a roach, and burnt it to a crisp. “Aah, never mind, I’ll just remake it.” You give a dismissive wave and open up your textbook. “Sorry for bothering you.”
A part of him felt guilty at keeping that hidden from you.
But that went quickly away when the damn thing landed atop Jamil’s head.
You think out loud
Sometimes, Jamil wonders if you forget that you aren’t the sole occupant of the dorm.
You do know that he can hear every little curse and complaint you utter towards your coursework and professors, right?
(How envious, having the freedom to say such things.)
No, what especially annoys him are the times when you’re intent on being heard.
If you’re having back pain, then don’t fall asleep at your desk.
If you’re tired, then set some alarms and rest in bed. (No, stfu about waking up earlier, do not sleep on the floor! It’s d i r t y.)
There’s no forcing productivity. If nothing’s processing, then let yourself rest.
(And every time he’d make an attempt at helping you, you would give him a flat, distrusting look. Why were you suddenly treating him like an Octavinelle student?!)
When Jamil said that he wanted a roommate who had their priorities in order, he didn’t ask for the additional nighttime podcast.
“No, that doesn’t sound right, I must’ve messed up somewhere…” “Oh, so this catalyst causes this reaction, and this catalyst-with-a-similar-fucking-name causes a different reaction! Ughhh, I can’t memorize all of this in a night.” “This professor wants a full literature review done before Friday, does he think we’re fucking scholars?!” “If I flunk this, I could just make up the grade with the final exam, right? … Yeah right, that’s a stupid plan.” “...Why do I get the feeling that this guy didn’t do his part… Ugh, he should present this all on his own then.”
(Sure you were saying all that, but the steady hold on your pen, careful control of your magic, and intense focus on your schoolwork said otherwise.)
The rare moments that you pass by each other on the main campus, he’d see you animatedly conversing with the same professor you were cursing out or nose-deep in the nth remake of whatever homework you were close to crumpling up.
And every single time, you’d manage a polite smile and wave.
He has no trouble returning the short greeting, but the sight of you sent a flare of irritation through him.
Oh, that earnest, hardworking spirit of yours, he hates it very much.
You monopolize the bathroom
Well, Jamil thought that you were. Camping out in there, keeping the place all for yourself.
Until you step out—face blotchy, red-rimmed eyes, phone clutched in a damp hand—Jamil reflexively backs away to let you pass. Keeps silent.
It isn’t until after you retreat to the bed area that he speaks up.
“Are you…” “Oh, y’know, it’s just the usual, my grades and being a disappointment and whatnot.” You play it off with a wet laugh. Jamil then sees the semi-crumpled test papers on your desk, turns one of the pages over, sees the red marks. “Wasn’t this the test you studied all night for?”  “I don’t want to continue talking about it.” “...Alright.” Jamil returns the paper to its undisturbed state.
Trust him, he would like to leave it alone.
But the frustration of not having one’s effort pay off, of pouring one’s self so deeply into one’s work and having nothing to show for it…
Jamil knows that all too well. And to know that you struggled with something similar, he can empathize.
(He’s not at all used to being a hapless bystander, passively watching this lousy attempt at feigning to be a good student.)
Despite what you say, he’s not completely heartless. But don’t give him that benevolence shit either.
The next time that you pull an all-nighter, maybe he’ll leave out a portion of his migraine medication before he goes to morning training.
The next time that he tutors Kalim, he’ll offhandedly invite you along and maybe assist you with the parts you’re struggling with.
If you were going to be something, then at least be some kind of burden. Jamil has handled plenty of those in his life.
Call him a creature of habit, but there’s an ease that comes with your routine as roommates.
“I think Kalim brought over too much again.” “The Asim family doesn’t skimp out on their gifts.” Jamil sighs. “But it’ll be fine. I can put away the leftovers.” “Dude, these aren’t just snacks anymore, this is a meal for like ten people. Let me help with some of it—” “Looking for an excuse to get out of studying, aren’t you?” “Shut up, man!”
Sure, you had your own problems, but at least a part of him knows that you don’t have to be coddled.
You were stubborn about returning the favor, he doesn’t hate that.
Tumblr media
A/N: i wholeheartedly believe that jamil was born a virgo because he'd be too powerful if he were chill. like imagine if he were all three: talented, pretty, and relaxed. idk it's too much for my piddly insect brain to handle. HEYY!! I was just thinking about Eugene Otinger with a male reader who has the same obsession with bees as him and Eugene is just like “he’s the one”
“Lame”
Short Story᯽
Authors words: sorry for taking forever- I had jack shit ideas for this just like I know Jack shit abt bees- speaking of that- I may have bullshitted my way through this cause I don’t know anything abt bees;-;
Word Count: 712
Character(s): Eugene Otinger
Pronouns: He/Him
Warning(s): Y/n has pathokinesis but that’s not directly(if at all) stated in this, I gave Y/n the last name Stygian, Ajax X Enid, not proof read, Enid is referred to as Wereblond instead of Werewolf like once,
Tumblr media
“Lame.”
“Lame.”
“Lame.”
“Lame.”
“Lame.”
“Lame.”
“Lame.”
“Choir? Really? How…. Lame.”
Y/n groaned for what felt like the hundredth time, rolling his head back as he did so.
“I don’t get why I have to join a club. They’re all so—“
“Lame?” Ajax, Y/n’s childhood friend, mocked as he laughed at his friend's antics. “What’d you do your whole first year in that normie school then?”
Y/n looked at his childhood friend with a half hearted, annoyed glare. “None of them wanted a freak to join their club. You’d know that if you listened to me instead of gushing about your werewolf girlfriend.” The [taller]/[shorter] male said, rolling his eyes.
Ajax only rolled his eyes back to his friend before nudging him. “Hey, we still have one more club to check out.”
“Fuck my life…”
And that’s how they ended up in front of what seems to be an old tool shed. However what caught Y/n’s attention was the bees buzzing around the building, as well as the boy wearing bee protection gear.
“Well this is it.” Ajax gestured to the building before turning to Y/n. “But knowing you, you’ll probably find it lame too—“
Ajax is cut off by Y/n. “Hey, don’t you have a date with wereblond?”
“Oh my god! I totally forgot me and Enid had library duty today!” The Gorgon shouted. “I’ll see you later dude!”
Rolling his eyes as Ajax ran back to the school, he turned to the boy who was coming up to him.
“Hey! Are you here to join the bee-keeping club?” Y/n nodded. “Really?! Okay!- I’m Eugene Otinger, just call me Eugene, did you know you’re the second person that wants to join this club? Oh! And- what do you know about bees?”
“Y/n Stygian, dark, I know.” He joked. “Now uh- yes I am. Yes really. Okay Eugene. No, I didn't know that. And I know quite a lot, bees are pretty… cool.” Y/n answered all of Eugene’s questions.
“Woah! Did you just say bees were cool? I was told you thought everything was lame?”
“I do. Bees just so happen to be my favorite living creature, Ajax is a close second.” Eugene chuckled nervously at the male.
“W-well then… What do you know about bees?”
Eugene watched as Y/n’s eyes seemingly lit up. “Well for starters bees are—“ The [taller]/[shorter] male started to ramble on and on about everything and anything he could that had to do with bees as Eugene occasionally jumped in with excitement.
The two found themselves smiling and enjoying each other's presence as they continued to talk about bees for the next two hours. To anyone else they would’ve seemed like weirdos, passionate weirdos, but weirdos nonetheless.
And they were.
However, that didn’t stop them as they continued to talk, even as Eugene got out of his bee protective gear and walked back to school together, still talking about bees. Both of them waving their hands around and smiling as they walked through Nevermore hallways.
Y/n invited Eugene into his dorm, finding he has no roommate, and looked in awe as there were bee plushies and pillows on the bed, along with other bee related things. Eugene found that the stuff that took up most of the dorm was anime stuff, bees, or metal bands. Which was pretty cool in his opinion.
The two continued to talk in Y/n’s dorm for awhile, still about bees, and sometimes other stuff. However after Eugene finally left to go to his own dorm, he found himself thinking.
Y/n and him shared an interest in bees, and both only had like two actual friends. Not only that but they could both just communicate so well with each other, both finding out that the other also found it hard to talk to most people. It was just… perfect.
Y/n on the other hand was thinking similarly. To him, Eugene was like Ajax, “totally not lame” in his own words. Unlike Ajax, Eugene shared his interest in bees, which most people are creeped out by. It was also just so easy to talk to the other boy.
‘Could he be the one?’ They both wondered that night.
question, you wanna talk about how your beef was met?
hello!! sure!!
so it’s honestly not a super interesting story lol. we technically first met a few months before graduating high school, in the lgbtq groupchat that spawned off of our college freshman-class-of groupchat. my homophobic parents found out about this tho and I had to leave the gc, so we didn’t talk again until move-in day- I was going up the stairs to my room on the 4th floor & someone called out my name (they remembered me from the gc and took their best shot knowing that I was tall, had curly dyed hair, & lived in that building). they asked me to help set up the railing on their bunkbed since I was tall & strong, & became the first friend I met in person at college! we were in the same friend group without really hanging out for the first few months (though I did privately think they were like,, the most beautiful person i’d ever met lmao), then they broke their leg & I ended up spending a lot more time with them since I was bringing them food & stuff & ended up spending a lot of time in their dorm. at the same time, my (at the time) best friend was also becoming closer with wes, so then we all just kinda formed a unit & we were a qp triad for about a year, & wes & I got together romantically at some point in there lmao
Raison d’être - A Premature Burial 4
Author: Akira
Characters: Shu, Mika, Nazuna, Kuro
Translator: Mika Enstars
"I wonder. Although I am discussing art with Westerners in Paris in a foreign language, my flesh and blood is held captive by this facile building."
[Read on my blog for the best viewing experience with Oi~ssu ♪]
Season: Winter
Location: The Itsuki's House (Exterior)
Tumblr media
Shu: However, as long as you have a brain in your head, you should have been able to figure out what I’d just told you out yourself.
This is just a villa, the Itsuki household has their stronghold in Kansai. That’s why I’ve always told you I’m going “returning home to the countryside” during the New Year’s holiday and such.
The circumstances surrounding when I’d first met you is also due to that.
Mika: Nnah, I’d always wondered why ya had been in my hometown, Oshi-san… Huh, but wasn’t there somethin’ about you and “Ryuu~-kun”-san runnin’ away together?
Shu: That’s likely because the destination of our expedition was just around the area. At the time, my world was extremely small, and I knew very little about the area.
So, well, in the end my little childhood adventure ended without any result. I could reach anywhere with my child’s feet…
Mika: Ya met me, didn’tcha~? And now, ya can go wherever ya want, right, Oshi-san?
Shu: I wonder. Although I am discussing art with Westerners in Paris in a foreign language, my flesh and blood is held captive by this facile building.
That’s how I feel. It seems humans are not so easily freed from their ties.
There are always various things pulling us about everywhere. Much like strings tied to a marionette.
Mika: Oshi-san…
Shu: Ahh, I’ve said something strange. Let us go in, we shouldn’t be chatting out in front.
Also, to answer your first question, why I brought you along with is because “I do not want to see my family alone”. Do I need any other reason?
Mika: No need t’be so scared, they’re family.
Shu: It’s not as if I’m scared, or we have a poor relationship, though. The hierarchical relationship ingrained into my instincts since childhood is simply something that I cannot ignore.
But, as long as you’re here, my family will put up a front of sorts and go a little easier, which helps. My family likes you as well, somewhat.
Mika: Even though they completely ignored me when I first arrived, huh… Or rather, they were completely surprised an’ caught off guard when ya suddenly picked me up, Oshi-san.
But I feel like we’ve been able to get t’know each other better over time. When ya live under the same roof as another, it’s natural to start t’warm up to one another.
Aha. First it were an orphanage, then Oshi-san’s house, and now Starmony Dorms… Come t’think of it, I’ve always been roomin’ with other people!
Shu: If you don’t feel comfortable with that, find the “family” you want to live with with all your heart going forward.
You have the limbs to do so. You are a free soul bound by no one. And nobody, not even God, can forbid you from it.
Location: Starmony Dorms Kitchen
Tumblr media
Nazuna: Hello~, Kagehira?
Ohh, so you’ve arrived at Itsuki’s house and are taking a break now that you’ve dropped off your luggage?
Didn’t want to bother them early in the morning, so you ate early and came over at noon, huh?
Itsuki arranged a flight in a hurry and returned to the country later on, so you waited for him and came along with…
Right, right. He wasn’t planning to return to Japan originally, so he arrived a little later than you.
Hm? Well it’s lunchtime, so I’m eating.
Yeah… I think Kuro-chin’s trying to win me over with a home-cooked meal, giving an excuse that he “made too much”…
Kuro: I’m not givin’ up, Nito.
Nazuna: Hm~… Then I’ll just have to introduce you to some of my friends who often crossdress as women and don't seem to have a problem with it.
Kuro: I’d prefer if it were you, Nito.
Nazuna: I wish I was hearing those words in a different context, you know… Well, if this is for behalf of your sister, “cross-dressing” would be somewhat different.
No, even if it were me, it’d still be “cross-dressing”! Isn’t this too uncomfortable?
Kuro: It’ll be fine. Have confidence, Nito. You’re far cuter than any girl out there!
Nazuna: That doesn’t make me happy… You’re stubborn. I should have expected that from a childhood friend of Itsuki—You two are pretty similar.
Oh, well. Anyways, Kagehira, I know I’m being persistent, but if anything happens, call me right away, okay?
We at Ra*bits are going through a strange situation right now, so we’ve been a bit dried up on our work and have time to spare. Yeah, but it’s not like I’m poking my head in for the fun of it, okay?
I’m not helpless, not anymore… Maybe I just want to prove that I am able to at least help someone.
Kuro: Ya don’t gotta prove that. You can help me right now, at least.
Tumblr media
Nazuna: Oh~, you~ are such a pain in the ass~, have you always been someone so annoyingly selfish, Kuro-chin? It’s strange!
Kuro: A lot of things are at play here. I’m tryn’a shed off the character of bein’ a “understanding, dependable big brother who doesn’t bother anyone”.
Rather, I’m in the process of try’na figure out who I am, and what I want to do.
Nazuna: So you’re trying to dress your male best friend in child’s girl’s clothes… If that’s your true nature, then put it away where else nobody can see, it’s gross.
Kuro: You’re so cruel. I’m askin’ you ’cause you’re my best friend, you know?
Nazuna: Hm. Oh well, it’s rude to be on the phone while eating, so I’ll be hanging up. Right, I may not understand everything, but—Let’s hang in there, you and I.
I know it’s not easy taking care of someone like Itsuki. But that’s exactly the thing you “want to do”, right… Kagehira? ♪
BTS MOMENTS: Jimin & Grace - Movie Nights
Tumblr media
It was his first proper week at his new apartment. It didn’t feel like home, just yet. Jimin had spent the end of his teen years and then adult years living with the rest of the group in various dorms across Seoul but still together and still sharing the same space as he always had done.
His roommate was always Hobi and there had been no change to that until they all had left and got their own apartments. His place felt empty, not lived in yet but he felt alone. Namjoon was only five minutes away in the same complex and the others lived either ten or more minutes away. Still not close enough for him to ring anyone and for them to be there within seconds.
However, there was one person.
Jimin packed a small bag with some night clothes and his night care routine, checked to make sure he had his keys and phone then made his way down several floors of the apartment building he was in.
His noona was several floors below him in her own apartment that she had just finished decorating and furnishing. His go-to for when he felt insecure or worried, his sister who he could hide behind if the world ever focused too much on him and when his own thoughts were getting in the way.
“Noona, you ready?” he asked as he stepped inside the apartment that he had the code for like he did for all the others.
“I’m ready,” she called back and came back with her jacket and her keys. “Where do you want to go and get snacks from?”
“Let’s go to the local grocery store and see what we can find.”
It wasn’t far to drive but with it being a cold night, it was easier to sit in the luxury heated car and load it full with at least ten bags of various snacks and food.
Tonight was just for the two of them - there would be no Jungkook demanding his mother’s time, there would be no Seokjin demanding his girlfriend’s time, and there would be no other members of Bangtan who sought after Grace’s time and attention. Just her and her chimchim.
“Go and take your shower, I’ll get the snacks sorted,” she said as she took the final bags from him and nudged him in the direction of the bathroom with a tap to the butt.
It was the quickest shower he had taken and his nighttime routine done within minutes, rather than hours. He came to find the large screen TV on, Netflix’s menu open and ready, the warm lamps on, curtains closed and blankets spread across the couch with all the snacks laid out on the coffee table.
“I don’t know what you want to watch, so I’m leaving it up to you. Just don’t put horror on otherwise we’ll never sleep,” Grace laughed as she handed the remote to Jimin as he jumped over the back of the couch and all but dove underneath the blankets.
He didn’t know if it was because he was next to his noona or because he felt at home, but he never made it past the first movie and was fast asleep on his noona’s lap after finishing off a packet of cheese balls.
Jimin knew he lived alone but he was never truly going to be alone now.
Get To Know You - Sims Style
Thank you to @descendantdragfi and @bioniczombie for tagging me 💙💙💙
What’s your favorite Sims death?
I haven’t had any sims die recently, but I do have one wild story from several years ago.
When my 2nd Gen heir Maya and her sister went off to university, they stayed in the sorority house. The general university shenanigans were taking place (sims not cleaning up after themselves, piles of laundry everywhere, etc.), but I didn’t realize some of their roommates weren’t eating... until it was too late 😬
THREE (3) girls in the dorm died in one night! Two of starvation and the third from thirst (idk how she became a vampire). Since they all died so close together, the Grim Reaper just hung around the dorm until he reaped all of them. I had Maya collect their tombstones and take them back with her to Lucky Palms when the semester ended. Now they’re all resting in the mausoleum, hopefully in peace lol.
Alpha CC or Maxis Match?
Maxis-match with some alpha pieces here and there. Though I feel like the line between what’s considered maxis-match and what’s considered alpha in TS3 is way more blurred that in TS4.
Do you cheat your sims weight?
Rarely. Some of EA’s premades are just so skinny sometimes!
Do you move objects?
All. The. Time. I can’t remember a time where I’ve played or built without it on. It makes it so much easier to squeeze sitting chairs or plants or floor lamps into tight corners and make nice collages of different wall art that overlap each other a little.
Favorite Mod?
Gosh there are so many mods that I absolutely love, and lately the TS3 modding scene has been putting out banger after banger, but my most recent favorite mod is @thesweetsimmer111′s More Toddler Interactions! I love being able to feed toddlers outside of the highchair and actually give them baths. And Savanita’s animations are always so cute!
First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack?
The Sims 3: Showtime! (crazy, I know lol)
Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing?
ALIVE. Idc if it’s the wrong pronunciation, I’ve committed to it 😤
Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made?
Probably my test sim, Leia. I created her from scratch and use her to test my mods and any CC I download, but lately I’ve been thinking of actually playing out her life. She’s also the adult sim in my Yoga Mod cover photo. Here she is!
Tumblr media
Have you made a simself?
I did a few years ago, but I never got around to playing her. I wonder if I still have my simself’s household somewhere...
Which is your favorite EA hair color?
I haven’t used an EA preset hair in 10,000 years, but I guess the black one isn’t too terrible.
Favorite EA hair?
The braids from The Sims 3: Island Paradise!
Favorite life stage?
I feel like Young Adult is a boring answer, so I’ll say Teens lol.
Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay?
Mostly gameplay (and testing mods/cc :p). When I build, it’s usually remodeling the interior of an already existing build.
Are you a CC creator?
Yes!! I started with TS4 to TS3 conversions, but I’m also a modder now 😁
Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad?
The Sims 3 community on Tumblr is pretty small, and I feel like we all know, follow, or are in a Discord server with each other (shoutout to the TS3 Creator’s Cave members!!). So, in a way, we’re all in the same squad ✌
Do you have any sims merch?
Unfortunately, no.
Do you have a YouTube for sims?
No.
How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing?
I used to exclusively play with families and progress through a few generations, but recently, I’ve been playing with more single sims to experience parts of the game I hadn’t really touched on before. I’ve also gotten a lot better at avoiding “same face” syndrome when I give existing sims a makeover or make them from scratch. Getting more comfortable with custom sliders has definitely helped with that too.
Who’s your favorite CC creator?
There are a ton of creators whose content I absolutely love, so I won’t be able to name everyone, but here are a few:
@aroundthesims, @anitmb, @aisquaredchoco, @bioniczombie, @chazybazzy,  @deniisu-sims, @danjaley, @enable--llamas, @echoweaver, @faerielandsims, @franglishetchocolat, @flotheory, @givresims, @grandelama, @greenplumbboblover, @ifcasims, @ilvansims3conversion, @jamiegirlposts, @jazzysimlife, @joojconverts, @justmiha97, @kotajose, @lazyduchess, @martassimsbookcc, @monocodoll, @mspoodle1, @nectar-cellar, @nightospheresims, @ninaaposts, @olomayasims, @omedapixel, @pandelabs, @phoebejaysims, @pixelfrogslegs, @plumbdrops, @poisonfireleafs, @potato-ballad-sims, @potatobuttcheek, @puffkins2000, @rstarsims3, @simbouquet, @simsdeogloria, @sim-songs, @simtanico, @sweetdevil-sims, @tasteslikefridge, @technicallyswagpizza, @teekapoa, @theplumdot, @thesweetsimmer111, @xiasimla, and @zoeoe-sims!
And that doesn’t even get into all of the talented TS3 creators over on Mod The Sims or NRAAS!
How long have you had Simblr?
Going on 5 years now. At first I was just reblogging other creators’ content so I could put it in my game, but then I started doing my own conversions in late 2019, so this blog became my simblr and I continued reblogging CC on @twinsimmingccfinds.
How do you edit your pictures?
Gimp 🧍‍♀️
What expansion/game pack is your favorite?
The Sims 3: Seasons! I love watching the seasons change, the holidays, the festivals, and the feeling of progression. I also love snow and the winter season in real life, especially when I was younger, so seeing my sims going about their day in a snow covered world is very nostalgic for me.
Most people have probably been tagged by now, but if you haven’t been tagged yet, I just tagged you 😉
Lost and Found Chapter 2
Summary: While chemistry is not your favorite subject, at least this class seems promising.
Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader
Genre: Fluff
Chapter 2: Chemistry
A/N: I watched No Way Home again and got all in my Peter Parker feels. I hope to consistently update this story for you because I really want to tell it. Enjoy :)
Tumblr media
“All right, class. Remember these seats because these will be your seats for the rest of the semester, and the person you are sitting next to is your lab partner,” Dr. Connors announces before starting his lecture. You were lucky to pick the back row and the back seat. It was a preference of yours.
And it was lucky that Peter Parker ended up sitting next to you. You wrote your name and date at the top of your notebook, ready to take notes. Peter nudges your arm. You look at him.
“This coffee is really good,” he whispers. Your heartbeat picks up in your chest as you smile.
“I’m shocked you’re still drinking it,” you whisper back.
Peter shrugs and takes a sip, “I–uh–had to do some errands before class and got distracted.”
As the class went on, you noticed how fast Peter takes his notes. It was like everything Dr. Connors said about something boring about chemistry, Peter wrote it down verbatim. If you missed something Dr. Connors said, all you had to do was look over at Peter’s notes, which he gladly shared.
“Some of these things Dr. Connors didn’t even write,” you say out loud, “how’d you know all this stuff?”
“Well, I’m a science and biology major,” Peter says sheepishly. You feel silly. Other people are here for their majors, not just gen-ed requirements like you!
“Oh, well, I got really lucky then, huh?” You laugh.
“What’s your major?” Peter asks.
“English,” you tell him.
“Well, I suck at English,” Peter says, “maybe we can help each other out.”
“I’d like that,” you reply. “Do you live on campus?”
Peter shakes his head, “no, just at an apartment off-campus. It’s not too far from here. Housing was too expensive and my scholarship didn’t cover dorm fees.”
“Oh, I’m sorry,” you reply, “but that’s cool you already have a place. Are you from the city?”
Peter is silent for a moment. “Yes. Queens.”
“Really?! Me too,” you say to him. “What high school did you go to? I feel like I would’ve seen you.”
“I was homeschooled,” Peter tells you, “I didn’t go out much.”
“I see,” you reply.
“Parker!” Dr. Connors shouts. “Are two atoms of the same element identical?”
Peter clears his throat. You look at him.
“No, sir,” Peter answers, “two atoms can react differently if they are in different states.”
Dr. Connors slowly nods his head. “Just making sure you’re paying attention.”
Peter looks at you and gives you a shrug. It’s silly, it’s charming. You can’t help but stifle your laughter. Peter laughs, too.
~
After class, Peter walks you outside.
“Do you have another class?” Peter asks, scratching the back of his head.
“I do. A class that is actually related to my major. American Poetry,” you say.
“Oh, okay. I don’t, but can I walk you to your class?” He asks. You nod your head.
“Sure. It’s this way.”
You and Peter walk in tandem through NYU’s campus. It’s nearly 4 pm. It’s starting to get dark out earlier now that fall is on its arrival. The leaves are starting to change color and the air is getting cooler. You and Peter don’t say much save for the small comment on how cold it’s getting, and when you’d be working at the coffee shop again.
You and Peter arrived at the English building. You stop at the front door and turn to Peter.
“This is it,” you say, “thank you for walking with me.”
“Of course,” Peter says. He smiles, but something is in it that you can’t quite figure out. His warm brown eyes hold yours. He’s holding his notebook in his hand still. The veins on his hands stick out. You notice a purplish bruise on his knuckle.
“I’ll see you around?” You offer.
“I hope so,” Peter says. “Can I… maybe get your phone number? Maybe we can study together for chem or… American Poetry,” Peter says with a shy smile. You smile in return and nod your head.
“I’ll write it down for you,” you tell him. You graciously take his notepad and pen, scribbling the numbers down fast because you don't want to be late for class.
“Text me,” you say, meeting his eyes again. His gaze never left your face. You blush, realizing this.
“I will,” Peter states, like a promise. “You work tomorrow?”
“Yes, I do.”
“I’ll be back for more maple pumpkin.”
“I’ll have it ready for you, how about that?” You smile.
“Enjoy class, ___,” Peter says.
Peter turns on his heel and walks the way the two of you came. You watch as his shrinking figure disappears. Finally, you head inside.
~
Peter Parker doesn’t have class the rest of the day, which means there is more time for him to do his part-time job.
He rushes to his apartment. Instead of taking the stairs, Peter finds the back alley of the building and shoots a web at his window. He doesn’t have much time.
He opens the window to his apartment and smoothly slides in the window, shutting it closed behind him. Peter rips off his jacket, shirt, and pants and changes into his red and bright blue suit.
Taking his police station phone from his bedside drawer, he sits on his bed with his mask hanging from his lips as he listens for… anything. His heart is racing, the adrenaline is pumping. It’s been so much easier for him to fight crime at night now that no one knows Spider-Man’s identity anymore. No one knows him, which means no one has to worry, or ask questions.
Peter has gotten used to living in the shadows, living a quiet life. After passing his GED test with flying colors, it was time for college admissions. The dream of MIT died long ago. Peter came to realize New York City will forever and always be his home. It only made sense to go to school here, too. Plus, NYU gave him a scholarship he couldn’t pass up.
Police dash: we’ve got a disturbance at Times Square, a man with a weapon threatening tourists.
Peter pulls his mask over his head, and dashes for the window again.
