❧ He was shopping in the glasses aisle until you walk up next to him and started looking at some glasses too. He started checking you out, you noticed that from the side of your eyes. You thought he was fine as hell, so once you was done shopping you looked over at him and gave him a wink then blow him a kiss and on your way out.

❧ Before he could even do anything back he froze up, he wasn't expecting you to do that. He wanted to be funny and silly flirt with you back but that just didn't happen. All he knew is that he needed your number expeditiously.

❧ He ran out the store without paying for the glasses in his hand searching around for you. His ass wasn't even paying attention to anything until he bump into someone & trip over they shoe. PLZZZ he was not trying to let his dream girl get away...but you did 😞...

❦ Yuji

❧ Yuji was sitting in the food court munching down on some fries minding his lil ole business. He was talking and waving to whoever the hell was in sight. He was just very friendly, he’s like a bright light and you thought he was too adorable for this world.

❧ You were sitting a table over from his and saw him stuffing his face like the little cutie he was, until he looked over at you. He waved at you with a big smile on his face and you waved back then blew him little kiss.

❧ He seen that and that was the beginning of the worst for this poor bby. His fry nearly got stuck in his throat and on top of that when he was about to run and get something to drink he fell face flat into his fries. Ketchup was all over his face but at least the fry wasn’t stuck in his throat…

❧ You felt bad that any of that happen like he had the worst of luck all cuz of you being so hawt. You went over there to go check on him and help get all clean up, he was very appreciative and a little shy. You just wanted to put him in your purse and take him home. He’s too precious :(

❧ You was looking for a specific store and it was your first time coming to this mall in particular so you ask the first person you saw, some dude that had a hedgehog style hair.

❧ When he first turn around to face you he was already stumbling over his words, you snatched his soul with your beauty already. Regardless all that stuttering had you giggling at him being all shy around you.

❧ After he told you where to find the store he offered to walk you there and you agree. Once you were there you gave him your thanks then blew a kiss at him. All he heard was “Thank you, sweetie.” and went blank. Mf ain’t heard nun else. He quickly said you’re welcome then ran downstairs nearly busting his ass. Bless his heart.

❧ You was sitting at the food court in front of a fast food restaurant chatting away with your friends about what y’all had planned for the day.

❧ Yuta was standing at the cash register working at the same place you were sitting in front of. You and your friends were really noisy, the food court was filled with all of yall laughs. Yuta didn’t mind since he thought your laugh was very cute and silly, from time to time he would look up at you and you would look at him. This went on for a few minutes.

❧ One of your friends dared you to blow a kiss at him so they could see his reaction. You thought the idea was pretty silly but gave in anyway. When you two locked eyes with each other again you quickly blew him a kiss then waited for his reaction.

❧ He was in the middle of counting money from the cash register but that threw him off and he ended up dropping some change. You just saw him scrambling around trying his best to not to drop anything else, he was over there fighting for his life. You and your friends was laughing at how cute and clumsy he look all cause of the air kiss you sent him. He’s just a silly guy.

Thoughts I Have After Seeing Elemental For the First Time 😈🥬

That being said, let’s dive in!

🔥 Not only are her parents immigrants but they speak a made up language called Firish. As an Irish American person, I thought that was cute!

💧 The Manticore from Onward is no longer the most relatable character to service workers. That honor goes to Ember now.

🔥 Yes, customers are really this stupid and entitled. The sparkler buy one get one free scene is a gold star example of that.

💧 Wade Ripple is who more men should be like; sweet, sensitive, loving, devoted, and charming but also awkward in an adorable way.

🔥 I never laughed so hard at the death of a grandmother ever. That was definitely not written to be sad at all.

💧 Wade isn’t afraid to say how he feels about Ember in front of his entire family and that’s very ballsy but way too fast.

🔥 Their date was so precious and the song in that scene is repeating on Spotify right now.

💧 I love that they eat wood chips and drink lava coffee.

🔥 Those flowers are absolutely stunning. And so is Embers glasswork.

💧 The antics between Cinder and the Door Man were wonderful. The Door Man also looks like the most huggable water guy.

Now being their precious manager, you were literally worshiped on this team

The third years, Kita, Aran, Omimi and Akagi, absolutely adored you beyond all measures

The second years, Atsumu, Osamu, Suna and Ginjima, were the guardians of YN

They didn’t think anyone was good enough to breath the air of THEIR YN

And last, but certainly not least, our precious bby first year, Riseki, absolutely had the biggest crush on you

He looked up to you and worshiped every step you took

Needless to say, you were irreplaceable my dear Yn

Unfortunately “irreplaceable” does not equate to “unbreakable” as our lively Inarizaki was about to learn

Because you see, it happened so fast that absolutely nobody knew what to do

You sent the solid team that was slated to win nationals into the biggest frenzy ever

And it all started with a rouge volleyball 😌

You see, it was the end of practice and everyone was packing up the gym

And while 99.9% of the time it most definitely is, this 0.1% was not

“Sumu pack it up! It’s time to go home!” Kita shouted as you picked up the remaining volleyballs

“Just a few more serves, I’m almost at my limit,” Atsumu said as you mindlessly continued your work

You were use to this, Sumu was Sumu and there wasn’t much more you could do

And by now, he had learned to avoid hitting you so you really didn’t mind

You just continued about your merry way, picking up balls and daydreaming

“Come on bro, let’s go I’m starving!” Osamu whined

“If you’d practice your serves as much as you eat, you probably wouldn’t have to worry about missing any!” Atsumu said before slamming a service ace into the opposing court

“What did ya say to me?” Osamu raged

“Oh boy,” Aran said 😐

“Knock it off you two! Let’s just finish up!” Ginjima yells

Meanwhile, you are just lost in your own world, probably daydreaming of peace and quiet

“Give me that ball!” Osamu shouted as he grabbed the ball from Sumu before tossing it and slamming it into the opposite court

It looked like a good serve, a solid one even

It’s course was set to land right on the end line

Which was, coincidentally, right where you were 😃

Akagi, our star Libero, saw it first

“YN LOOK OUT!” He shouted as the rest of the team watched on horror

Thankfully, you manage to get your hand up quickly

The ball hit your hand, smack on and deflected towards the wall

A loud and almost visible sigh flooded the gym as everyone was relieved you didn’t get hit in the head

However the calmness lasted approximately .02 seconds when they heard you whine and grab your hand

“Crap Yn!” Omimi shouted as the team raced towards you

You were grabbing your hand as tears began to flow down your face

“YN I’m so freaking sorry!! I didn’t mean too!” Osamu said, coming beside you as he looked at your hand

Fun fact: a professional volleyball serve can be upwards of 120mph (193kph)

Osamu isn’t a professional but it’s safe to say he can probably reach at least 80mph (128kph)

Needless to say, there’s a lot of force behind a serve

You look at Osamu, tears in your eyes as you respond, “it’s ok Samu, I should have been watching.”

Meanwhile, your hand is beginning to swell and it hurts so bad

“Let me see it YN,” the coach says as he studies your hand

“Is she going to be ok?” Ginjima asks as Coach looks at you

“Riseki, grab an ice pack quick, Kita and Aran, take YN to the nurse now!” Coach barks as the team goes to work

Suna comes next to you, holding your hand gently as Riseski hands him the ice pack

You hiss and whimper as the ice hits your skin

Osamu and Atsumu stand to the side, visibly upset that their arguing lead to you getting hurt

“Come on Yn,” Kita said, putting his hand on your lower back as Aran took over for Suna, bracing your hand

Atsumu and Osamu wordlessly began cleaning up the gym with the rest of the team, feeling awful about what happened

“Hey!” Omimi says as the twins look at him, “it was an accident. She’ll be ok.”

Meanwhile, in the nurses office…

“We need to call your parents Yn, you need to go to the hospital,” she says as you look at her

“She’s ok isn’t she?” Aran says, concerned

The nurse shakes her head, “I think her hand is broken, she needs x-rays to confirm.”

Kita and Aran’s eyes widen as you hold your hand, crying a little as the pain continues to sink in

The team finishes cleaning up and they all run to the nurses office as they see you sitting outside with Aran

“Hey everything’s all right?” Atsumu says as you look at him

“The nurse thinks she broke her hand, her parent is coming to take her to the hospital,” Kita says as he walks out from the nurses office

Osamu immediately deflated, he feels absolutely awful about what happened

He realistically knows it wasn’t really his fault, accidents happen, especially on the court

You notice him looking sad as you stand up and walk to him

“Samu it’s ok! I’ll be ok I promise,” You say, hugging him as he hugs you back

It’s a sweet moment that is unfortunately interrupted 😐

“What about me YN?” I’m sad too!” Atsumu whines as Osamu and the team glare at him

You smile and giggle, hugging Atsumu and then the rest of the team

Your parent arrives and you are taken to the hospital

The guys all go home, worried about what happened to you

They all feel awful, knowing how much pain you are in

Suddenly, their phones all ring, the group chat lighting up as they all simultaneously answer

“YN are you ok?” Osamu shouts from his phone screen

Talk about turn of events 😅

“Will you shut up and let her speak?” Ginjima says

“How about everyone shuts up and let’s YN talk!” Kita finally says as you smile from the hospital room

“Hey guys, I’m ok! My hand is broken but I got a cast on it!” You say, showing the team your favorite color, now wrapped around your hand

They all go silent, feeling awful

Osamu feels the worst as he looks at your wrapped hand

“Damn Yn, I’m so sorry!” He says again, his face expressing immense concern

You laugh, an odd gesture given the situation, “Samu it’s ok! The doctor was super impressed that I managed to deflect a serve like that! It’s not a bad break and they said within a few weeks I should be healed!”

“Are you able to do volleyball practice YN?” Akagi asks as you nods

“No physical activity for a while but I can still write and do everything I normally do! So it means I get out of gym class!” You say, excited you won’t have to participate in running for a while

“Did they give you something for the pain?” Aran asks as you nod

“Yeah they gave me some good pain relievers but I won’t be in school the rest of this week,” you say as the boys all deflate

“I’m really really sorry Yn! I feel awful!” Osamu says again

“Samu it’s ok! It was an accident! I should have been paying more attention anyways!” You say as you smile

Thankfully, a certain someone knows just how to lighten the mood 😏

“Really if you think about it, it’s all Sumu’s fault,” Suna chimes in as Atsumu takes over Osamus phone

Lilith stares at her belly in shock, confusion warring with disbelief as she feels a shallow heartbeat echoing. As if it’s embraced and protected by her own body. For a moment, it’s as if she has a babe nestled within her, growing and sustaining itself because of her.

Then the heartbeat wavers, as if it might fade and Lilith disperses herself into a wraith of shadows and follows it. It’s a nephilim soul, soft and innocent and so very weak and it belongs to her.

Oh, it’s not her womb the babe rests in, her precious son, but Lilith can feel her magic claiming him, her power anointing him as he’s consecrated as her son.

It’s only because of soft, flimsy tether to his soul that Lilith can summon herself to his side, hiding in the shadows as a man monitors an unconscious, pregnant nephilim.

Lilith is patient as she watches, her gaze covetous as she watches and she wants nothing more than to bury her hands into the woman’s stomach and pull free her son. She wants to hold him in her arms like this unworthy being is holding him in her womb.

Except she can’t, because while he is now her son, he still needs the incubation of a healthy womb and Lilith can’t give him that. Even if she could, there is no guarantee that it would be safe for a child once born of Raziel.

So, she waits and watches and learns.

Finds out that a mad, vicious shadowhunter is experimenting and somehow came across one of the many slivers of Lilith’s soul that she hid around this realm before she was banished.

The woman, Maryse doesn’t know what’s been done to her, or that the child she bears is no longer her son but Lilith doesn’t care. She only watches, delighted as Maryse grows larger, as Lilith’s son is nearly ready to be born.

 When it’s time, it takes everything not to simply speed up the process and rip him free, but Lilith is not yet strong enough, nor is the tie to her son powerful enough, to allow her free reign. So, she must leave this worthless nephilim to pretend to be her son’s mother.

However, not all is lost.

Her son is often left to his crib and Lilith spends more time in the shadows than she ever has before. She sings to her babe, coddles him when he cries and uses magic so that she can feed him when he’s hungry.

He’s a perfect child, Lilith's precious Alexander. A babe whose name she whispered in a dream to Maryse, so that she could claim every piece of him possible.

Sweet and strong and so adoring of her, his small face scrunching up and his fingers reaching out to her even when he can’t possibly recognize her for the shadows, she hides in.

It’s not enough.

It will never be enough, but it is something, for now.

- the royal masquerade is SO criminally underrated, it deserves way way wayy more love. and honestly, trm has a way better royal plot & storyline than the entirety of the royal romance.

- speaking of the royal romance, i would choose arthur/artura anyday over liam. they’re based off of very similar archetypes, but for some reason i truly adore them even if i seem to be in the habit of having my mc date the intended love interests’ closest confidants <3

- look, i love immortal desires. no one’s doing it like my girl cas! but especially after replaying bloodbound recently, id simply cannot compare!! bloodbound is a masterpiece, the mc is literally one of the best mcs on the app, the lis are all SO good, the plot is so much more engaging and unhinged….. also rheya as the villian & the whole mc being descended from her blood keeper storyline? yeha that’s history. like sorry to id but you simply cannot compete where you don’t compare.

maybe it seems like Garcia is acting immature out of spite for coming back to the BAU and feeling like the team "forced" her to come back and it wouldn't surprise me if she threatened to to quit if they call her out or something like "you ask me to come back here when I didn't want to, so you need accept and put up with the 'new' me if you want to find this unsub or I'm leaving. And you need my help." Just thinking about that based on her interaction with Emily in 16x07

I've actually talked to my mom about that a couple times because according to JJ, it's canon now they promised they wouldn't ask her to come back, so I guess she was really hurt about the broken promise. That bit makes sense.

And really, life working at the BAU for 15 years did kinda cause Garcia 15 years worth of horrifying traumatic events (like she mentioned to Rossi when he refused help for his depression and grieving) like, for very specific example, getting SHOT, so I see how it would be rough on her to go back to that. But then it was Luke who asked her when JJ told him not to, and I'm very firm in my stance that Garcia just can't say no to him but she's really spiteful about that so she's like "you people promised you wouldn't make me come back here! I guess I just kinda expected her return to have a little more fear/anxiety and sadness rather than anger and bitchiness because it's really hard for me to imagine her being that level of mean to any of the team. Like, she wasn't even that mean to Luke before and she warmed up to him so quick when she knew Roxy was a (very adorable precious little bby) dog and not a hot girlfriend.

So, yeah, watching Evolution after the first 15 seasons is just kinda disorienting and uncomfy for me because of that.

I had to think long and hard how to reply to this amazing ask. Life interrupted me, but slowly a plan brewed.

Thank you ever so much for your kind words ::hugs you tight:: They kept me bouyant through a shitty weekend and I reread them multiple times trying to work out how to thank you for all your support.

Well, I have a beginning, so let's see where it takes us over the next few days ::glares at real life knowing that tomorrow is already a right off:: Wednesday is looking teasingly full of possibilities, so hopefully something will happen then bar any annoying interruptions.

But anyway, let's take a trip to the Fair :D

Scott shifted his shoulders under his long coat and looked up at the sky.

It was a gorgeous blue today and he would have loved nothing more than to be up in it…in any way possible.

Beyond the gates, at the far end of the fair, a great wheel was spinning slowly, its passengers enjoying the brief illusion of being airborne at its peak.

He stared at them for a moment, almost sad that they had little clue as to what they were missing.

But wish as he might, today was not the day for flying. Today was a day for Scott Tracy to represent his father at the latest technology exhibition and fair.

Stepping out of the carriage beside him, Virgil was picking at a smudge of something on his green silk waist coat. Scott had to hold back from rolling his eyes. By all that was merciful, how his brother managed to get grease on everything? If Scott was honest, the exasperation was fond rather than annoyed.

“Tuck it behind your cravat.”

Virgil looked up at him as if he had been startled out of his skin.

Scott sighed and leant on his cane as his brother fiddled further with his clothing. “It is hardly noticeable.”

“What is hardly noticeable?” Gordon appeared beside Virgil and looked his brother up and down. Alan hung behind him, eyes staring out at the fair as if all his Christmases had arrived today.

“Never you mind.” Virgil’s voice was brusque as he straightened up in his charcoal grey suit and adjusted his similarly-coloured top hat.

He made Scott conscious of his own deep blue almost black hat and he instinctively touched it, causing it to tilt just slightly down on one side.

Gordon caught the movement and grinned.

This time Scott did roll his eyes and turned away. “Be on your best behaviour today. We are representing Tracy Industries and our father. No tomfoolery.”

“Aw, ruin it, why don’t you.”

Gordon made a very good imitation of a spoilt child when he so chose to. If it wasn’t for the trust Scott had in his little brother, there would be worry. “Look sharp.”

With his brothers at his back, Scott Tracy strode into the fair.

Ohhh yeah bby lets go chapter 3 - shorter chapter but oh well

Sirius had been walking forever. Well, Padfoot had been. It’d been a couple of days since he set off to find Harry. He’d had to stay as Padfoot, to not alert any wizards that were roaming muggle London. Sirius had to ditch the flannel, running from muggle dog catchers, the flannel tied around his collar had gotten stuck and ripped on a fence Padfoot squeezed through. Though it was no issue, he was close enough to Surrey to know where he was going. 

Padfoot wasn’t wet from the sea or the rain anymore but he was still ungodly dirty. Sirius liked to stay clean, for the most part, so this was irking him more than anything. He had to put that in the back of his mind though because he was getting close to Surrey and to Harry. Closer than he thought. 

Roaming through the woods as a shortcut, Padfoot caught onto a familiar smell. A familiar smell that sent him running, trying to get to the edge of the forest, and when he saw Harry, it was like seeing him when James placed the adorable baby boy in his hands for the first time. Nostalgia had hit him like the waves until a voice that irked Padfoot so badly rang out, “Mummy look!” A voice very much not Harry, but still, Harry and a woman Padfoot clearly knew as Petunia ran towards the voice. It wasn’t until Harry looked at Sirius that he really felt the weight of it hit him, he was here. He was here and he’d found Harry! But he didn’t have a plan. Didn’t really know where to go from here. 

But he trotted over anyway, acting as gentle as he could. Though, he couldn’t take his eyes off Harry.

Sirius thought he’d look like James. And he did! But that’s where the resemblance stopped as of right now. Sirius could see in his eyes, Lily’s eyes, that there was no trace of James in this little boy. There was a little of James, of course, as Harry was his son, but only tiny seeds. Tiny seeds that hadn’t gotten the chance to grow because of the environment they’d been stuck in. Everytime those seeds would grow, there would be an invisible force stomping them back into the dirt. 

It took Sirius by surprise, seeing the same boy that he saw in Grimmauld’s mirror all those years ago in the one child he’d never wish any kind of harm. Lily was in there too though, kind and caring, but could snap back like a firecracker. Kind and caring when the only thing this child has ever known is misery. 

It was a blur of color, voices, and being prodded at, Padfoot having to stop himself short of maiming the child he’d guessed Petunia’s. But it was worth it, because he’d finally gotten to Harry. 

The car ride was peaceful, after being prodded at the Vet’s, being able to lay his head on Harry’s lap. Though, he couldn’t help what the boy was thinking. Was he wary of the dog? Lucky for him, the answer was no. Harry was happy the dog was there, he thought maybe if Dudley was preoccupied with Padfoot he wouldn’t bother Harry. 

It was silent, going back to 4 Privet Drive until Petunia interrupted the silence.  “When we get home, I expect you to finish up the yard, Harry. Maybe even take the dog out, so my Dudders won’t have to deal with it.” She said cooing at her son, clearly still taking in the idea of even having a dog. Harry suspected she only said yes because Dudley was so precious! ‘Yes’, Harry thought, ‘so precious.’ He wondered what she’d think of her darling Duddy when she found out he was as bright as a broken bulb and as nice as his father, so not at all. Considering his all F’s, and Petunia never saying anything, Harry didn’t think she’d care. “Yeah! And take the dog out too, I don’t wanna deal with all the yucky stuff!” Dudley, loud as ever, ordered Harry. Of course, Harry suspected he’d have to deal with all the actual parts that come with having a dog so this wasn’t very shocking. 

Harry thought the dog was weird. Weird but comforting. He’d always liked animals, snakes, dogs, and cats the most. Though birds were nice too, he’d always wondered what it'd be like to fly, he always imagined he’d like it, especially if the dreams he had were anything to base it off of. But Padfoot was soft, and he seemed to like Harry, which is what took him by surprise the most. No one liked Harry. 

When the four of them arrived at Number 4 Privet Dr. Sirius was .. unimpressed. It was bland, and boring. The yard was the only good thing about it. Petunia got Dudley out of the car first before walking straight to the door, not bothering with Harry. Sirius tucked that interaction into a little corner in the back of his mind for later. Harry gently lifted Padfoot’s head off his lap, “C’mon, Padfoot. Let’s go inside.” 

Harry opened the door, getting himself out (with a little struggle) before grabbing onto Padfoot’s leash and beckoning him to get out of the car. Padfoot, ever obedient, followed and walked next to Harry while he led both to the door. The door was black and opened wide so Padfoot could see the interior.

‘As bland as the outside,’ Sirius grumbled in his head. Harry led him inside, letting Padfoot go in first then closing the door behind them softly. Padfoot could hear voices coming from the kitchen, all sounding prideful and irritating. 

“Here, Padfoot,” Harry led him deeper in the hallway, no longer holding onto the leash (which Sirius was thankful for,) and simply just beckoning him with hand motions. “Let’s go meet Uncle Vernon,” Harry rolled his eyes at Padfoot and when Padfoot let out a laugh like huff Harry looked at him with shock, “Can yo-?” 

“And here it is!” A big bulk of a man came bulldozing from the kitchen into the small hallway, rushing to Padfoot and all but pushing Harry into the wall. Padfoot slightly growled at the motion, looking at Harry first to see if he was alright before directing his glare to who he knows as Uncle Vernon. Of course, they’d met at Lily’s and James’ wedding. It hadn’t been pleasant. 

Sirius had prepared himself to see things that would disturb him, but he promised himself to only intervene as human if it was something serious . He would be no good to Harry if he was locked back in Azkaban. Sirius would never forgive himself if he let Harry, and by proxy, James and Lily, down again. Of course, Padfoot would intervene but Sirius wouldn’t. 

“Look at him! My Dudley sure knows how to pick em’, aye Petunia?” Vernon’s loud voice boomed, beaming with pride that his son found such a fine dog. “I tried to tell him no, but well, he’s very persuasive, I think your advice is working, Vernon!” Petunia grinned at her husband. Vernon had been giving Dudley lessons all about being persuasive and getting a yes when someone says no. Harry thought it was plain bullshit. “That’s my boy! Never take no for an answer!” Vernon playfully wiggled his finger at Dudley, while his son beamed with pride. 

But of course, Harry had to ruin everything.. By existing. “And what are you doing? Just standing there? I believe your gracious Aunt gave you instructions.” Vernon raised his eyebrow at his nephew, “Sorry, Uncle.” Harry grumbled and made his way back outside to finish mowing the yard like Petunia requested. 

The family went back into the kitchen, paying less attention to Padfoot and more to the fact Dudley had ‘persuaded’ his mother. Padfoot rolled his eyes more than one listening to the idiocy spewing from the mouths. He kept his eyes on Harry for the most part, looking at him mowing the lawn, it was a bit difficult since Vernon had got the best mower known to man. It was tall and Harry was not. Padfoot guessed it had something to do with his ‘mistreatment’ because James had always been fairly tall and Lily was above average height as well. 

Though eventually, Dudley wanted to play with Padfoot in the living room. Sirius knew he had to play along for now, even though he really didn’t want to, so he barked and did what he thought Dudley would like before Harry came in and started to cook dinner. 

Sirius was concerned it looked like a habit. 

Harry cooked pork chops with peas and tater tots on the side, Vernon’s favorite on Fridays. He started cooking and Padfoot abandoned Dudley, who whined for a minute before turning on the TV and watching some show Padfoot couldn’t stand. He made his way towards Harry, putting his paws on the counter and helping as much as he could, nudging items, moving the pan with his paws so the pork chops wouldn’t cook too much on one side when Harry was preoccupied with the other ingredients. 

Whenever he would do something like that, Harry would look at him with an incredulous look. More surprised someone would help him, rather than it was a dog helping him. “Can you understand me?” Harry brought up his question from earlier, “It’s okay if you can. I won’t tell anyone. No one would believe me, if I did.” He whispered to Padfoot. Ducking his head down in secrecy,

Sirius thought for a minute. Would it be wise to tell him yes? He thought for a minute and considered Harry knowing he had someone who understood him and loved him was a greater need than Sirius’ own secrecy. Plus, why even be secretive? All Harry had to know was he understood, not the whole situation. 

Padfoot nodded, Harry looked at him in shock. 

Padfoot looked at the stove and whined to Harry, reminding him of his task. “Oh! Right,” Harry scolded himself, quickly focusing back on the food, not wanting to burn it. Not wanting to make that mistake again. “So.. are you.. Like- Like, are you-” Harry sighed in frustration, before putting his hand up in a ‘forget it’ motion. 

Harry knew better than to ask if Padfoot was magic. Magic wasn’t real. Magic was bad. It was a stupid thought, Harry wouldn't bring it up again. Padfoot was just smart. That's it. 

He and Padfoot finished the family's meal, making sure to leave some for himself and Padfoot, discreetly. He would have to go buy dog food the next time they sent him grocery shopping. Until then, he’d slip Padfoot food. Feeding him like he fed himself. 

The family ate, the other family cleaned up the kitchen. Padfoot helped the same way he helped with the cooking process. 

They finished cleaning fairly quickly, Harry already being fast and with Padfoot’s help it took even shorter the time it usually would. Once the family was done eating they cleaned their plates too. 

After cleaning, Harry gets sent to his cupboard. 

“Boy! Are you done cleaning?” 

“Yes, Uncle Vernon.”

“Done with the yard?”

“Yes, Uncle Vernon.”

“Good, maybe you can be good for something.” The family snickered. “Now, go to your room. And so help me boy.. If you wake me up again in the middle of the night..” 

“I won’t, Uncle Vernon, i’m sorry.” Harry clenched his fists while Padfoot growled under his breath, not liking where this was going. 

Padfoot thought he didn’t like it before. He felt disgusted, almost as if it wasn’t him watching this happen, when Harry walked over to the Cupboard Under the Stairs, pulled the door open and he saw Harry’s ‘room.’ 

Sirius stood there frozen before, “You go too, mutt. Dudley doesn't need dog hair all over his clothes. You can come out in the morning. If I catch you barking, you’re going back to the streets.” Vernon barked at Padfoot, the proud façade fading once the surprise of the dog ended. Dudley staring at the TV, braindead. Petunia reading her magazine. 

Padfoot trotted over to the Cupboard, not before 'playfully' nipping at Vernon's ankles, hopping in along with Harry before Vernon bounced over, ever so gracefully, slammed the door and locked it shut. 

Padfoot layed close to Harry, mind still reeling from where he is, the cupboard, how he got here, the cupboard, Harry, the cupboard! He’s in a cupboard. Harry’s room.. Is a cupboard! Sirius let himself think about all the ways he could really earn his murderer title. 

“It’s just you and me now, Padfoot.” Harry chuckled, grimly.

And as Harry’s hand ran through Padfoot’s fur, gently, he couldn’t help but let the anger fade away and his mind clear at his words. 

‘Yeah, Harry.’ Padfoot snuggled closer to Harry, ‘It’s just you and me now.’

Edit 9: I miss comedy patient storylines. I miss patient storylines in general.

Edit 10: Nicky and Meena arguing about whether to get Gaskell for a neuro consult. Nicky makes a remark calling Gaskell “a flipping Disney princess”. John and Rox walk in at that exact moment. The comedy in this ep is absolutely 10/10.

Edit 11: Rox on John: “He can be very quick to criticise, but he can also be quick to praise.” Textbook BPD. Why did they give John all these BPD traits and then villainise him for them.

Also, it’s really nice to get to see John do actual competent doctor stuff and not just “look at me I’m crazy and evil” stuff.

Edit 13: Zav being homophobic. Yikes. Thank god he grew out of that nonsense.

Also, Lofty saying “I don’t feel the need to give myself any label”. CRINGE. Say what you like about Casualty’s LGBTQ+ rep (and there is a lot to say tbf) but at least Jez was allowed to call himself bi. Did Holby ever have a single character who identified themselves as bi? I can’t think of one. Not liking labels is valid but when you start using it as an excuse to avoid the word “bisexual” (whereas you have characters like Dom gleefully saying they’re gay every other episode - not a criticism of Dom, I loved that about him)... yikes.
