Starting Saturday, July 16, every person in every community nationwide can dial “988” to reach trained crisis counselors who can help in a mental health, substance use or suicide crisis.
988 is the new three-digit dialing code in the US connecting people to the existing National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (now the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) — whether that is thoughts of suicide, mental health or substance use crisis, or any other kind of emotional distress. People can also dial 988 if they are worried about a loved one who may need crisis support.
You can reach the 988 Suicide and Crisis Line by calling 988, texting 988 or chatting via Lifeline’s website.

You know a lot of countries rag on the US for being car dependent, but I think they miss the bigger picture. We don’t just use our cars to navigate vast cities that were purposefully designed to make us car dependent. We also use them to cry in a quiet space when we’re being mistreated by our employers and can’t afford therapy.
I feel like Soldier Boy's PTSD and explosive blackouts might be a more realistic portrayal of the illness than what we've seen in the MCU with Bucky. Because like when you get triggered you freak out and lose control sometimes, and it can be really confusing. We haven't really seen Bucky ever get triggered. He has "trigger words" but those were used to brainwash him and it's not at all the same thing.
Like, yeah, Bucky obviously has PTSD but it's been really watered down. I guess it's also important to keep in mind that people with PTSD aren't a monolith, but you'd think it'd be a lot more severe after 70s years of torture and brainwashing. Even with Wakandan cryo-psychiatry(???).
Purchasing a bible from a man who solely worships money and power is like buying a vegan cookbook from Jeffrey Dahmer, or a book on military strategy and tactics penned by the Dalai Lama. I was raised as a conservative Christian, attended a religious school and still cannot believe how many idiots are being sucked in by the Alt-“Christian” Right movement. Read the New Testament people!! Donald Trump’s life has been a textbook example of EVERYTHING that Jesus warned people not to do!!!
