Sorry just want to rumble a little bit today and no normal thoughts Just... wanted to say... that "Mystic hands" Michelangelo is... very good I only know (I mean have read = know) a few fics about Leo getting back in time, but in this one Mikey gets back in time... I don't know why but it was stuck in my head all day When f!Leo is back, he's about to kill someone, die, later little Leo is suspicious about him, they hate each other (no, they don't, they are just stupid asses)
But god for some reason the way f!Mikey gets back, he just BLOWS everything, he's a walking bomb, that actually makes sense, he's an atom bomb due to the circumstances of his way of getting to the past and the city is lucky they weren't destroyed F!Leo can hold him expression better then Michelangelo does, and Michelangelo doesn't notice how his expression always changes, he just cries and knows that he will Little Leo is suspicious about him (as he should), but the moment he understands that he's the same Mikey, he melts. It tooks weeks for Leos, it took a day for Michelangelo (little (old) brother privileges huh) The way he just, almost blows the WHOLE island, that's exactly was stuck in my head about future Mikey The fact that he was a general, put demoted himself, he was the one discovering the way magic works with science and taught Donnie about it, just all these little mentions and details for some reason made me a bit alive today
(Also the fact that the little one krang is the most dangerous makes SO MUCH sense)

“It's 3 o'clock in the morning”, you take a breath in and resume kissing him, hands tangling in the locks at his nape.
“I know”, he rasps, pulling back to bring your foreheads together, taking a moment to immerse the image of your swollen lips and cold skin of your face “It'll be fun baby”.
You don't know who exactly started kissing. Jungkook came back from his night shift not long ago and he expected you to be asleep. But he was beyond happy to catch you peacefully listening to music and waiting for him, paying attention to arbitrary details of the city still alive below. What began as a welcome kiss soon turned into a brief makeout-session, the first press of his lips against yours truly reminding how much you missed Jungkook throughout the day.
And during small breaks of catching each other's breath, he suggested for a night walk, much like a date since he had been too busy this week.
“Okay”, you huff, still feeling your chest squeezing together to get the normal breathing rate. A smile tugs at his lips and with one final smooch he leaves you to change your clothes into something safe enough for walking through the cold night.
Maybe it's because you had been with Jungkook for so long that you basically adapted a lot of his fashion sense and little habits. When you step out of your small shared apartment, you both look like members of a punk band, all black and leather.
Jungkook smiles down at you, remembering how much you have changed, it felt like you grew bored of colors as well, much of your aesthetics going monochrome at this point. There was a time Jungkook even went worried about it, thinking you were somehow adjusting to him. But you reassured him that he was all the color in your life you needed.
Jungkook interlocks fingers with you, squeezing palms together as he leads the way down stairs.
“Where are we going exactly?”, you ask, an obvious curiosity he hasn't clarified yet.
“I don't know really. We'll figure that out”.
He always had a way with words which made you warm and curious at the same time. You just smile in return and wrap your hands around his leather clad arms and walk along.
You liked this. Dates with no particular destination to be in. Just strolling till your legs are tired, eating street food, getting coffee together or studying at the public library because your apartment is located at a not so silent heart of the city.
And you liked Jungkook very much too. It sometimes feels like lopsided that it demands to overflow from underneath your skin, and sometimes when you are making love to him or cuddling his head close to your chest, you believe he feels it too.
It hits you all of a sudden that you never shared those three words. Never ever uttered them in this two years of relationship and you question them now. Totally random of a realisation just like the day you woke up in a cold sweat accepting to self that you have to confess to Jungkook.
The first place you stop by is a heavily packed food truck selling korean food. It's a usually visited one so Jungkook ask for the customary meal, fire noodles. His favorite of street foods not because there wasn't anything better, he just adored your blush flushed face when you are done.
“Babe?”, he tears open the ketchup and squeezes the content with his chopsticks while watching you, “you good?”.
Apparently you had spaced out, still fueling on the thread of thoughts from earlier. You ground yourself to the present in a jolt, “I'm alright”. You give him a nervous smile.
Jungkook pulls his chair close to yours so that your arms and knees are touching, your skin growing hot despite not touching your noodles yet.
“What are you thinking about hm?”, he demands to know, but not intimidating you more than the point. He busies his hands mixing the ketchup into your noodles instead.
“I love you Jungkook”, you blurt, eyes planted on a random spot on the ground waiting for an outcome.
“And you realized that now baby?”, he chuckles, watching you all shy. He places his noodles from his lap to the table in front to fully face your direction.
“I love you too baby, so much. And I've said that so many times before, when you are sleeping, or when you were not listening. I think I was not as brave as you”, he confesses.
Your chest swells in warmth knowing he had always told you this. You peck his nose and dig into the food, finally able to feel the hunger settling down.
Content with the late night meal, you begin to stroll again after Jungkook laughs and cups your flushed red face. You always hated spicy food as a child but then this is another one of those quirks you caught up being Jungkook’s girlfriend.
“Where do you wanna go baby”, he asks, feeling lost of a trajectory for the date and now you are equally lost too, dwelled in the fact that he will lead the night.
“I don't know”, you state and at the sight of a specific place you continue, “wanna get some drinks?”.
Jungkook immediately giggles, “We both know you lose your mind over half a glass of rum love”.
You knit your brows together for a pout, “Well then you can carry me back home can't you? That would be romantic”, you press yourself to him for no apparent reason.
“Carry you all the way home?”, he muses, holding your whining head softly on his palms while pecking your forehead.
“C’mon Koo then why do you workout for three hours all day? Make some use of your muscle”
“Oh I make plenty use of these muscles and you know it”, he teases back and you smack his arms in response.
After a few very cliche comebacks you both agree to drink the night away. Good thing that Jungkook had a good tolerance to alcohol among you two. Carrying his drunk body single handedly for a smaller human like you would be a tedious task. The math was correct here, and so you start slurping your glass of whatever cheap whiskey they had.
You were enjoying all of this, truly to the core and to the point that you swore there is nothing better to life than this. But Jungkook always felt otherwise.
You see, you are not a rich couple. Just normal millenials who go to college supported with scholarships and debts to pay, several part time jobs and a very low key life where you prioritise your expenses and plan finance together. A couple who has not went on classy restaurant dates in glittery tight fitting dress, or even a sundress and expensive suits. He always wonders about the things that could make you happier and maybe one day he can afford that Italian restaurant you once said is really nice because your sister was proposed by her husband there. You'll look so beautiful in a dress and he can't wait to allure on that.
“Koo?”, you slur, already feeling consciousness leaving your body, “What are you thinking about now hmm?”
He smiles faintly at you swirling his drink and bringing it to his lips to think upon the answer a bit.
“Nothing babe. You look so beautiful right now”, he says.
And immediately you search for a reflecting surface to check yourself out, and that's because you're drunk. Your more sober self usually ends up processing a lot of butterflies at the pit of your tummy.
“I am!?”, you beam, finally able to see a very blurred something of your bummed out face with hair falling over and maybe there's even a little dried drool at the corner of your lips.
“Yeah”, he giggles, scooping you up in his arms for a tight hug, “Let's get home shall we?”
“Carry me pwese”
“C’mon love”, he helps you climb on his back for a piggyback ride, “I'll carry you”.
You tug your limbs a little tighter around Jungkook, he pats under your thigh to loosen up so he can walk. He listens to random mumbles you are whispering to him and he smiles occasionally, carefully paying attention to everything.
“I love you so much sometimes I don't know what to do with myself”, you say and Jungkook stops dead in his track to process the words a bit.
His skin turns red which you can't see and probably you wouldn't mutter such things on your sobering. And he is glad. Glad to know that you are content with what it is. His mind stirs around, his own set of booze blazing the thought further.
“Why did you stop Koo? You tired? Should I carry you?”
“You love me that much?”, he asks, completely dodging your questions.
“Yes. So much”, you kiss his cheeks, pressing down harder then usual to prove your point.
He is convinced you are the one who has a way with the words. You say things which brings him to his knees and you remain so oblivious to it.
“Let's get you home”, he states through a smile.

It’s been 2 weeks since Bangtan returned from their Bon Voyage trip. Since then, they have been busy practicing for the upcoming award shows and comeback. It was a rainy Saturday morning and the boys are coming out of their rooms one by one as they would go to BigHit together. The only thing scheduled for the day is dance practice. Hoseok checked the time on his watch, “Where is Namjoon? He’s taking too long.” He complained while looking at the maknae line sitting side by side on one of their long couches.
 As if on cue, Namjoon walked out of his room, holding his phone up. “Bang PD-nim sent me a text, we have a team meeting in an hour. Let’s go.” Hoseok stood up, followed by the maknae line. Yoongi and Jin are already waiting in the car, as Yoongi wanted to drive and Jin wanted to take the shotgun seat. Hoseok proudly looked at the maknae line, thinking about how the three changed over the years. The younger ones used to be hard to call which makes them late all the time, but now, they listen more and already have the initiative to go without being asked.
 They filed in the car, one by one, “There’s a reason we workout, and this is it.” Namjoon joked, making the others laugh. Yoongi started driving as soon as he heard the last car door close. “Rianne’s coming home in a few days,” Seokjin announced, obviously wanting to smile. “Jinjja? It’s been that long? I miss noona!” Jungkook answered, clapping his hands. “Is noona a doctor already?” Taehyung asked. “2 more years, but she told me she misses me so she’s going to spend her break here.” Seokjin smugly said, as if making his members jealous that his girlfriend is coming over.
 “I’m sure Lexi misses her too!” Taehyung added, “Oh shit, I miss Lexi too.” Taehyung held his chest and acted shocked. “You just saw each other last night! You don’t get to say that beside me when my girlfriend is in another country!” Jimin smacked his arm, making the boys laugh. Yoongi laughed with his gummy smile, “What happened to ‘you are my soulmate’?” He asked. Both Jimin and Taehyung just finished recording their new song “Friends” earlier that week. Hoseok interrupted, singing the part of Friends “BFFs on one day, enemies on the other,” making the bunch laugh. “We should spend a weekend on the house I bought in my province!” Jin announced again and everyone agreed with him. Yoongi parked the car smoothly in front of BigHit, the boys coming out of the car one by one but still waited for each other before going inside the building.
 Hitman Bang entered the conference room first, followed by Sejin. If there’s anyone who knows about Si Hyuk’s knowledge of the boys’ fates, it’s Sejin -- which is why he’s there taking care of them ever since 2013. If Si Hyuk holds the strings given by the Fates, Sejin can actually see the red strings of fate on the members’ pinky fingers. There are only four colors to it: White - if they haven’t met their partner yet, Pink - if they already met them but haven’t got together yet, Red - if they already met and they are already together, Black - if one of them dies.
 Upon sitting on the conference chairs, Sejin looked at Si Hyuk, asking him to come closer as he needs to whisper something. “I see that Taehyung, Jimin, Yoongi, Seokjin and Hoseok has red strings.” He said, the boys just looking at the two, not hearing what they’re talking about. Si Hyuk whispered back, “I only know about Seokjin, Jimin and Yoongi. Yoongi talked to me about something, but I didn’t know about Taehyung and Hoseok. Do you think Taehyung finally figured out that it was his bestfriend all along?” He asked.
 “Oh come on, why are you whispering in front of us?” Seokjin asked, the others bit their lip to hold back their laughter. Si Hyuk smiled at them, cutting the conversation he was having with Sejin. He always looks at the boys proudly, seeing how far they’ve come and being content with the path he carefully crafted for them. He just wanted the boys to be in a team just so he can keep them together, but them being worldwide stars is out of his hands, that’s their own doing.
 “I’m back from my vacation, boys. We can start talking about how you want this comeback to be. I already have a list of shows that want you in the early 2020 and we’ll confirm which shows you want. I also have the list of award show schedules for end 2019, we can already discuss the stages that you want to do. Also, I have to talk to Jimin after this meeting -- alone.” He announced. The boys were just nodding along, but all eyes landed on Jimin when he said that he needed to talk to him alone.
 “Why me?” Jimin asked. “It’s just something about your property. Nothing big.” Si Hyuk answered. The meeting went on for 4 hours. It’s nothing new to them because their meetings with their boss are half serious work and half joking around and talking about their daily lives. This is also Si Hyuk’s way of monitoring how’s life for them, but who was he kidding, the boys are really close to his heart.
 After the Bangtan meeting, the six boys walked together to the practice room while Jimin followed Si Hyuk to his office. Jimin immediately sat down on one of the chairs in front of his boss’ desk. “Yoongi told me that you already have a girlfriend.” Jimin looked up. He was hoping that he could be the one to tell him that he already has a girlfriend. Jimin just nodded because there’s no point denying it now, besides, all of them knows that Yoongi will never lie. “Is it still the same girl a year ago?” Si Hyuk asked, Jimin shook his head immediately. “No, she’s… different, but she’s not here right now, although I’m asking her to transfer here in Korea.” Jimin cleared his throat, “If that’s okay?” Jimin felt the need to seek for his validation since before this year, only Seokjin and Namjoon got his blessing on dating Rianne and Cammie respectively.
 He felt Si Hyuk tap his shoulder, “You’re matured now, Jimin. Of course, you can.” Jimin smiled immediately, “I can just hug you right now, Bang PD-nim!” Si Hyuk stopped him, imitating Black Panther’s meme, “We don’t do that here.” This earned a laugh from both of them.
 “Now, I really wanted to talk to you about the property you bought, the old house facing Han River.” Jimin’s head tilted slightly because he doesn’t have any idea why would his boss bring that up, “Yeah, what about that?”
 “Someone came by here yesterday. I think it’s one of the people you asked for help in renovating the house. He told me that it’s finished so I just want to advise you to go there today.” Si Hyuk said. Jimin automatically checked his phone, “Jinjja? They could’ve just contacted me. Is that all?”
 His boss nodded his head, “You can go to the boys now.” Jimin stood up and said his thanks again to his boss. He could never ask for a better management. He made his way to the practice room and saw the boys starting already. Of course, he quickly made his way to them, dancing with them as if he was there since the song started, making the boys laugh because Hoseok was shocked.
 Their practice should’ve ended at 6 PM, but it’s already 8 PM and they’re still lying on the practice room floor. “We should go home,” Jungkook whispered while breathing heavily. They practiced Dionysus again and all of them went too hard.
 Yoongi was the first one to stand up and gather his things, “I’ll sleep in Gail’s apartment tonight. I can’t take that she only eats real food when it’s me who cooked. See you tomorrow, boys.” The boys waved goodbye to him, Seokjin shouting, “Have a fun dinner!”
 The boys laughed, knowing that Seokjin was referring to another thing. Jungkook looked at Taehyung, “How about you? You don’t have anything for tonight?” Taehyung stared at the ceiling, “Nope. Jagi’s training until 10 PM tonight. I told her to just go straight to sleep when she gets back to her apartment.”
 “Or you can surprise her with something when she gets home,” Namjoon suggested. Taehyung sat up and clicked his tongue, sending finger hearts to Namjoon, “That I would do! Thanks, hyung!” He quickly stood up and gathered his things. “See you tomorrow, boys!” He dashed out of the room and left.
 “Last five… lying down on the floor,” Seokjin commented. He was supposed to say standing, but considering that they’re all lying down. “I remembered, I have something to attend to.” Jimin stood up.
 “Ya! Don’t tell us you’re cheating!” Hoseok said. “What? No, I’m not! Am I not allowed to have a life?!” Jimin said while laughing softly, gathering his things too. “The house I bought is finished already. I’m gonna go take a look and might as well spend the night there. I have extra clothes in my bag anyway.”
 Jimin waved goodbye to his hyungs and Taehyung. He already booked a cab while walking out of the building which arrived exactly when he got out. The car ride was short. He paid the cab driver and got out, his eyes automatically looking at the house. He’s shocked that the lights are turned on, his eyes narrowing in confusion. He walked to the house and entered his passcode beside the front door.
 The door opened and he went inside. Nothing much has changed except that the interior is now complete with the simple chandelier that he picked and the walls are now painted white. He walked over to the kitchen only to see food on the table, making him confused even more. “What the fuck..” he softly said, because he doesn’t know where did that food come from.
 The food is not familiar to him. He smelled it and it smells good. He wants to try tasting it but what if it has poison? Or does he watch too much movies? He held the bowl only to find it still hot, “Okay.. This is creepy.” He smiled his flat line smile and grabbed a spoon, scooped some of the soup and tasted it. It tasted sour, a good kind of sour. He suddenly remembered the dish that Eunice talks about all the time.
 Flashback:
 “Since you like sour foods, I’d like you to know that my favorite dish is sour too. I swear, it’s better when it’s super super super sour! Too bad I can’t find any restaurant here in Korea that has that.” Eunice said in pout while they were just talking in his bed a day before she leave Korea.
 “If that’s the case, then you should learn cooking it, bubba.” Jimin said and hugged her tighter. Eunice nodded, burying her face to his chest more, “And I’ll let you taste it.”
 “Okay, that’s your assignment. That’s what you’ll cook when you come back here in Korea.” Jimin softly answered, kissing the top of her head.
 End of Flashback
 Jimin’s heart started pounding fast after remembering that conversation. He quickly ran to the back porch to check if Eunice is there, but she’s not. He ran to the room beside the living room, but no one’s there too. He held his chest while slowly walking upstairs, because there’s only one last room to check. If she’s not there, then his heart might tear into pieces again, but if she really is there, what would he do?
 The bedroom door upstairs is slightly open, Jimin could only see the bedside lamp that is turned on. He took a deep breath before opening the door slowly, both expecting and not expecting to see Eunice there.
 And there she is, lying on the bed, sleeping soundly.
 Jimin felt his heart drop to his stomach, “Oh shit, bubb.” He ran to the bed and hugged her tight from the back, causing her to stir from her sleep. Jimin showered her back with kisses, her neck too, and now her cheeks. Eunice turned around to face him and hug him back, “You’re home!” She felt Jimin hug her tighter and his shoulders slightly shaking, “Jimin, come on, stop crying. Why are you crying?” She asked, but her tears are slowly falling down too.
 “You did not tell me you’re coming back! You surprise me like this! And you just… I love you and I miss you so much, bubb.” He said in pout, making Eunice laugh. “I’m sorry, okay? And for the record, I’ve been waiting for you since this morning. Didn’t your boss tell you to go here?”
 “He did, but he did not tell me to go immediately. If I had known.. shit, you’re really here!” Jimin exclaimed, catching her lips with his for a chaste kiss. “You’re even wearing one of my shirts, what are you trying to do to me?”
 “Nothing.” Eunice answered, but a smirk is already forming on her lips. “Okay,” Jimin answered, but his lips are already trailing down to her neck. “Aren’t you tired from practicing all day?” She asked.
 “No.” Jimin said with finality. “You’re tired,” Eunice teased again, pushing Jimin away. He laughed and attacked her neck again, “I’m not! And I’ll prove it to you, babe.”
 -
“Now, I’m tired,” Eunice said while lying down in bed, Jimin following right after pulling out of her. “And I love you.” She whispered in Jimin’s ear. “I love you too. Hug.” He opened his arms and Eunice is quick to scoot closer to him.
 He grabbed the remote from the bedside table, making the aircon’s temperature drop a few degrees colder. He also turned the switch of the bedside lights so it became a little brighter. “How’d you get Bang PD-nim to talk to me about going home here?” Jimin asked, rubbing circles on her naked back. “Long story, but to summarize, Yoongi-oppa was the one who handled Gail’s application at BigHit, he just tagged me along.” Eunice answered. Jimin slightly pulled away to stare at her face, “Really? Did they interview you too? Hyung wanted BigHit to take in Gail immediately, but she doesn’t want to skip the process of interviewing. She also told hyung to advise the HR that it’s okay if she won’t qualify for the position.”
 Eunice laughed, “She’s overqualified! I’ve been telling her for a while now. The position she was applying for was Junior Graphic Artist. I’m not even surprised that she’s now a supervisor instead.” Jimin looked at her expectantly, as if waiting for her to share too, “Fine. They also interviewed me.”
 Jimin’s eyebrows raised, as if saying to go on, “Your HR team is scary. I thought I was taking a life or death test.” Jimin’s eyebrows raised higher, “And?”
 “And I’ll be working with you guys.” She said. Jimin squished her cheeks with his fingers then kissed it right after, “And I get to see you everyday! What a fun life! Congratulations babe on getting the position!” He said and planted a soft kiss on her lips.
 “Which position?” She teased again and giggled. Jimin laughed, “I thought you’re tired?”, he asked before going on top of her again.
 -
 The next morning, Jimin woke up to an empty bed. Was it all a dream? He asked himself. He rubbed his eyes and stood up from the bed, ready to check the whole house again. He groggily went down the stairs, finding Eunice already busy cooking in the kitchen. The curtains are all draped closed which made him smile because his girlfriend doesn’t really like the sun. It makes her eyes hurt, she said.
 He hugged her from behind, his lips automatically attaching itself to her neck, “Good morning.” He said and just stayed there for a while. “Good morning, bubb. Why’d you get up already? You’re still sleepy.”
 “Because I thought I was just dreaming.” He pouted on her neck, causing her to laugh. “No, you’re not dreaming. I’m really here. You did not eat dinner last night.” She said, flipping the chicken she’s frying.
 “I think I ate dinner very well last night.” Jimin answered, Eunice rolling her eyes as she pulled another pan and placed it on the second stove. “Shut up. How would you like your eggs?” She grabbed two eggs from the counter, Jimin just walking behind her while still hugging her wherever she goes.
 “I’d love it to be in your mouth.” Jimin murmured on her neck. Eunice faced him and smacked his forehead, “Why are you such a pervert in the morning?!” Jimin laughed and kissed her nose, “Fine. I want it fried.”
 “Did you know that Yoongi-oppa and Gail fought last night?” She asked. “No. Why did they fight?” Jimin let go of the hug and stood beside her as she cooked. “You’re pretty.” He commented while staring at her, wearing only his shirt and his apron. Eunice placed the fried eggs and chicken on Jimin’s plate, “Okay. Stop that. You’re making my heart flutter. So back to the two who fought…”
 ~
 “And now, you can’t even make the toast properly.” Gail told Yoongi on a Sunday morning. The sun is already high up, but the two are just preparing breakfast. Yoongi did not pay attention, still looking at his phone with his scrunched face. Gail has been talking to him non stop since last night because he can’t seem to give her attention after he cooked her dinner.
 “Yoongi, I’m telling you.. If you don’t get off that phone, you’ll be dragging your sorry ass for a week!” Gail said, pulling out the burned toast out of the toaster. Yoongi did not even bat an eyelash, still focused on his phone. “I’m going to buy breakfast outside.” Gail said.
 “Take my card with you,” Yoongi answered. “No. I’m only buying one to feed myself. You can just eat your phone.” She said and bolted out the door, closing it loudly. Yoongi shook his head and closed his eyes, just a little bit more, he whispers to himself.
 Gail walked outside, making her way to the coffee shop where she met Eunice and Lexi before her bestfriend left Korea. She knows that Eunice is already here, maybe already with Jimin because she already stopped contacting her last night. She walked inside the cafe, the barista smiling at her instantly since she’s a regular there.
 There are only a few people inside, maybe because it’s a Sunday and a lot of people are sleeping in or spending time with their family. She just wants to spend time with Yoongi, but he can’t seem to take his eyes off that goddamned phone. The barista, which is also the cashier, suddenly talked to her as she stood on the other side of the counter.
 “Are you getting your usual, Gail?” She asked. Gail nodded, handing over her cash. The girl smiled at her and started making her orders. She sat down on one of the bar stools that’s near the counter since the barista knows that her order is for takeout. Her mind wanders back to Yoongi in her apartment, phew, she sighed before standing up again and walking to the counter.
 “Hey, can you make my order for two, please? The coffee for the other one is just iced americano.” Gail requested and handed her the cash immediately. “Of course, just a few more minutes, Gail.” The girl smiled again at her. She walked to the bar stool again and sat there. She scanned through her phone and saw a text message from Yoongi.
 Babyyy: I’m sorry. I love you.
 Gail sighed again, her eyebrow raising on its own. Now he’s saying I love you after ignoring me? The nerve, she thought, but she also can’t deny that she wanted to smile and ogle him. She liked the growth of their relationship, from always fighting and breaking up to just always fighting but talks things over. They both learned to talk to each other to understand their differences.
 The barista walked to her with a bright smile again, handing her orders. She stood up and said her thanks to the girl. So much for buying only one for myself, she thought. She can never resist Yoongi, no matter what the situation is. If she can’t resist him when they haven’t even met yet, what more now that she gets to be with him everyday?
 She was on her way out, hands full of the food she’s about to bring home, when a girl from outside opened the door for her. She’s wearing a sundress, her hair quite long and she has tattoos on her collarbone and right arm. “Thank you,” Gail said to her. She just bowed and smiled.
 Before the door closed, Gail heard the barista greet the girl, “Toshimaru! I didn’t know you’re back already! What can I get you?” Gail looked back at the two and smiled to herself. That Toshimaru girl is pretty, she thought and walked home.
 When she arrived, Yoongi is outside her apartment door, waiting for her. The moment he saw her, he quickly walked to her and helped her with the food she brought. Yoongi silently opened the door and placed the food on the table.
 “Did you read my text?” He asked. Gail grabbed her sandwich from the bag, “No. What text?” She asked. Even though she really read it, she just wants to hear Yoongi say it. Yoongi sighed, “I’m sorry. I love you, baby.” He pouted and hugged her, swaying her slowly.
 “Of course, I read your text.” Gail whispered. “You minx! You just want to hear me say it out loud.” Yoongi has his gummy smile on, pinching both of Gail’s cheeks and kissing her lips after, “Forgive me. You’ll understand me soon.” He said.
 Gail just nodded, “I better understand you soon. There’s another sandwich for you there and iced americano. I wouldn’t let you be hungry no matter how much you piss me off.” Yoongi smiled at her as if he knows that she would buy him food too.
 Gail walked to the living room and sat down on one of the couches. She turned on the TV to look for something to watch. Yoongi followed her to the living room with the food she brought, “Baby, thank you!” Yoongi said, trying his best to do aegyo.
 “You’re already cute, baby.” Gail answered, holding her smile while still staring at the TV Screen. Yoongi cleared his throat and took a sip on his coffee, “Will you go out on a date with me later?”
 Gail turned her head to look at him, “A real date?” She asked. The both of them haven’t had time to a real date since they made up, considering that Bangtan ended their vacation just after they made up, then they went to New Zealand for Bon Voyage, then they’ve been practicing hard ever since.
 “A real date, just you and me. Would you give me the privilege to date my most favorite girl in the world?” Yoongi asked again, now sitting in front of her, while holding both of her hands. “I’d be stupid to refuse you.” Gail answered.
 Yoongi smiled at her, “We’ll shop for our clothes later, baby.” He kissed her forehead and stood up, continuing to eat his breakfast. “We need to shop clothes?” Gail asked, sitting on his lap while they eat their sandwiches.
 Yes, they do fight all the time, but they can’t really live without each other. “I just want to dress up, you know? Like how they do it in dramas. On first dates, you dress up so you feel the awkwardness and shit, but then you overcome it, then have fun.” Yoongi said while picking on his sandwich, checking what’s inside it.
 “I think the years under our relationship belt are way past the drama level.” Gail said, considering that they’ve been together for years already. “But we just met, baby..” Yoongi pouted, as if pleading to go on with his plan, “Besides, I’m taking you somewhere else after shopping.”
 “Okay, baby. Let’s do whatever you have planned. Just don’t make me wear heels, okay?” Yoongi looked up to her since her face is slightly higher than his because she’s sitting on his lap. “Okay, baby. Let’s go shower.” Yoongi said and carried her.
 “Together?!” Gail asked, laughing and wrapping her arms around his neck. “Conserve water.” Yoongi said with a poker face which just made Gail laugh more. She knows her boyfriend doesn’t like showing his feelings too much, but when they’re together, his clinginess just jumps out.
 -
 “The red one?” Yoongi pointed to the dress on the far end of the store. They’re currently in their casual clothes while picking something semi-formal for Yoongi’s planned dinner later. “Red looks so.. foxy.” Gail commented. “Are you sure it’s okay to go out in public like this? You might get a dating scandal.” She asked for the nth time today.
 “How is it a scandal when it’s real? Besides, we’re not doing anything bad.” Yoongi said with finality, holding her hand again. “How about the white one in the corner?” Yoongi pointed again. Gail looked at the dress he was pointing at. The dress is not revealing, but not conservative either. It has short sleeves and its neck line just dipped right.
 “Yeah, I’ll take that, but let me try it first. Don’t look.” Gail walked towards the dress, Yoongi shouting, “Marry me after!” Gail turned her head back to him and she just saw him run outside the store. She shook her head in annoyance because she felt her heart flutter again.
 -
 Yoongi and Gail are currently inside the car, busy arranging Yoongi’s top buttons. “This formal, Yoongi?” She teased because her boyfriend is even wearing dress pants. “Just trust me, baby. Thanks for doing my buttons.” He said before starting to drive.
 “Where are we going?” Gail asked while she’s busy talking to Eunice and Lexi on their group chat. All three of them agreed to see each other tomorrow at Bangtan’s dorm since the boys will be going back to work, while the three of them will be done with their schedules in the afternoon. “Namsan Tower. We’ll be eating there too, then maybe do that lock thing and write our names on it.” Yoongi said without looking at her, eyes focused on the road, but definitely spitting words of love to her.
 “Do you know why I can’t get off my phone since last night?” Yoongi rhetorically asked, “Because they messed up my reservation and I can’t fucking stand it when I know that I already have this all planned out. It stressed my wits because I can’t mess up any of our dates. I don’t want that.”
 Gail just stared at him as he went on talking about how he had to pull a lot of strings for the reservation to push through, even personally calling the person that accidentally overlapped his reservation and saying if he can please reschedule it and he’ll pay for the next schedule. It’s good that the guy rejected Yoongi’s offer to pay, but accepted rescheduling since he understands that Yoongi’s a busy man.
 “You did that?” Gail confirmed, not believing what he just said, but she knows that it really is true. “Anything for you, baby.” Yoongi said again which made Gail softer for him even more. She suddenly felt guilty for lashing out on him earlier in the morning. “I’m sorry for shouting at you a while ago.”
 “That’s okay. I know you’ll be pissed.” Yoongi laughed. “I know you already. You’ll be pissed, then still love me after it.”
 “Don’t be too confident.” She answered. “Okay, I won’t. I love you.” He said.
 “I love you too.” Gail replied. Yoongi snapped his fingers, “See?”
 -
 Yoongi and Gail are walking to the cable cars that will take them to the top of the tower. The air is cold and Yoongi always holds her hand, even the city lights of Seoul is beautiful that night. Both of them are not talking, just enjoying each other’s company. Gail hummed in happiness because it’s the first time they’re doing this and she’s just glad that Yoongi arranged it with all his might. Yoongi looked at her while she was humming and smiled to himself, silently appreciating what he has now that he never imagined having before.
 The cable car ride amused the shit out of them, not because it’s a cable car ride, but because it’s the first time they’re doing it together and Seoul just became prettier when viewing it from a high place. “Don’t tell me that your reservation is at the highest point of Namsan Tower?” Gail said while looking at Yoongi who’s currently in awe at how pretty she is with Seoul’s city lights in the background.
 Yoongi nodded, “I won’t tell you that we’ll have dinner at the highest point of Namsan Tower.” Gail looked at him sheepishly as he pulled her out of the cable car and walked to N. Grill -- which is the restaurant in the highest point of Namsan Tower. They entered the restaurant and no one was there except the waiters. “I also won’t tell you that I reserved the whole place.”
 “Baby, you don’t really have to.” Gail said and rested her face on his shoulder. A waiter handed Yoongi a bouquet of flowers which is also part of his plan. When Gail looked up again, she is greeted by the flowers that Yoongi is handing to her. “Yes, I don’t really have to, but it’s what you deserve, so I will do this and everything else just to see that smile on your face.”
 Gail swore in her mind that if she could faint, she would’ve already. Yoongi’s overdoing this date thing with a lot of sweetness and she doesn’t know if her heart can still take it. She’s just too happy right now.
 They ate their steak while overlooking Seoul. Yoongi just talking to her about everything, his work, his latest song, their latest dance. “Oh right, I remembered.” Yoongi suddenly said, wiping his mouth with a white linen cloth. “You already heard about my new solo song, right?” He asked. Gail nodded, “Yeah, shadow?” She confirmed.
 “Yep, that one. I want its color scheme to be the same as the first album cover that you did for me when we met.” Yoongi said. “The story behind your album is actually Eunice’s project, so I think that’s easy to decide on, if that’s what you really want, baby.” Gail answered. Yoongi silently clapped his hands, feeling giddy, “Will you design our album cover?”
 “Uhmm maybe? That’s my job, right?” She teased. “Okay! Make one of the versions with that color scheme then.” He said again, still pushing that first album art. “Okay, Sir.” Gail joked, making Yoongi raise his eyebrow.
 “You should call me that in bed. Should we try?” He asked innocently. Gail’s eyes narrowed and she pretended to think, “You outdone yourself today, so okay. Sure, sir.” Yoongi laughed, “Ya! I didn’t say you can turn me on right now!” Gail laughed too,  “Sorry! Later, then.”
 They enjoyed the cool breeze of the night, walking also to the Locks of Love fence. As they locked theirs on the fence, Gail commented, “I didn’t know you are this cheesy.” Yoongi smiled like a cat ( :] ), “I didn’t know, too. I guess you bring out the best in me. Now, come on. It’s almost midnight and I’m craving for coffee.” He said.
 Gail nodded and turned her back on him, but Yoongi pulled her again to face him and sealed her lips with a kiss, “They said that you have to kiss your partner so the lock stays forever.” Gail looked at him with confused eyes, “Where’d you get that?” Yoongi chuckled, “I just made it up so I can kiss you. Let’s go!” He happily said while they walk back to his car.
 Yoongi drove to the cafe near Gail’s apartment. She checked her watch and it’s just five minutes before midnight. Yoongi got out of the car and she followed him, “Are you sure you’re going to have coffee at midnight?” The both of them stood in front of the cashier, “You don’t want me to?” He asked. “No, no. Get me one too, please.” She answered, Yoongi ruffling her hair before ordering for the both of them.
 “Let’s just walk back home,” Yoongi said to Gail. He turned to the cashier, “Is it okay to leave our car in the parking lot? We just live close anyway.” The cashier said yes before handing him their coffee.
 The two walked back to the apartment, Yoongi stopping Gail from walking when they were beside a lamp post. “Stand there.” Gail just stopped and stood there, Yoongi bringing out his phone to take a picture of her. “Aigoo, look at my favorites together in one photo.” Yoongi commented.
 Gail smiled and pulled him again to walk, “Does that mean coffee and me?” She asked just to make sure. Yoongi proudly nodded, still staring at the picture he took.
 "You know, I don't like your apartment." Yoongi suddenly brought up while sipping on his coffee. Gail immediately smacked his arm, "Ya! That apartment is special to me!" Yoongi laughed, "I was kinda hoping that you don't like it too, because.." He cleared his throat, "I was wondering if you'd like to move into my house in UN Village.." Gail stopped walking while Yoongi continued. He turned his head, "I was just asking.. if you're not yet ready, that's okay with me too."
 Gail pouted again, "Isn't all of this too much? I would love to move in with you, though.." Yoongi walked back to her and draped his arm over her shoulders, "Nothing's too much if it's for you. Move in with me then." He kissed her forehead and did not bother hiding his smile.
 As they enter the apartment, Gail immediately hugged him, “Thank you for tonight, baby. I couldn’t ask for more.” She softly said. She’s usually embarassed to say those words, but Yoongi just reached another level on her heart tonight and she can’t think of anyone else who made her feel this wanted and loved. “I couldn’t ask for more too, baby,” Yoongi rubbed her back and hugged her tighter. “Except maybe you calling me ‘Sir’ tonight.” He smirked.
 Gail pulled away from the hug, “Say that you love me first.” She said. Yoongi kissed her nose, “I love you, baby. I’d do anything for you.”
 “I love you more, and I’d do anything for you too, Sir.” She squealed when Yoongi suddenly carried her, placed her over his shoulder and made his way to the bedroom.

 The next Monday is no different from Bangtan’s Saturday. Their practice was supposed to be finished by 6 PM, but it’s already 8 PM and they’re still going hard on Dionysus. It’s more tiring now that they also practice their solo stages for the upcoming award shows. Yoongi glanced at the wall clock they have in the practice room, shocked that it’s already 8 PM.
 “Ya! I thought we’re just going to practice until 6 PM?” He asked. Hoseok finally glanced at the clock too, followed by the other members, “Is that the time? We missed dinner!” Jungkook realized because he really loves eating. “Do you think Lexi cooked dinner?” Namjoon asked Taehyung. The boys are already used to depending on Lexi whenever their practices go overtime.
 Taehyung checked his phone, but Lexi’s last message was just saying that she’s already with Eunice and Gail. She did not even say what they are doing or where did they meet. “No, she didn’t tell me if she cooked anything. Maybe we could just buy food and take it home.” Jimin checked his phone too, “Eunice did not tell me anything also, but I know that they’re in our house.. I mean Bangtan’s house.”
 “Let’s just buy food for take out, then eat it with them.” Yoongi suggested. Everybody agreed, except Hoseok who’s suddenly telling them again that he won’t come home tonight. “Hoseok, you gotta let us meet her.” Yoongi suddenly said. Hoseok looked at him with wide eyes, “Who told you it’s a girl?” He asked. Yoongi answered, “I don’t care if it’s a girl or a boy, Hoseok, just let us meet him or her soon.”
 Hoseok instantly objected, “Ya!! Of course, it’s a girl!” Seokjin laughed and tapped Hoseok’s shoulder, “Let us meet her when Rianne comes home. You should take her with us when we go to my house.” Hoseok just laughed, “Oh come on, hyung! She’s your cousin!” Shocked by the revelation, the rest of the Bangtan boys looked at the two with wide eyes.
 “Fine! I’ll let you all meet her soon. Let’s go.” Hoseok grabbed his things followed by the others. They watched Hoseok drive away, while they file one by one inside Seokjin’s car. The boys went by a restaurant to order all of the Korean foods that they’re craving for after a whole day of practice.
 After Seokjin parked the car in their garage, the boys a
were all confused as they hear loud music from inside the house upon opening their car doors. “Okay, before we all enter.. am I hearing this right?” Yoongi asked, stopping the boys from entering the house. They can hear the three girls’ loud laughter while Fancy by Twice is playing in the background. All of their eyes landed on both Jimin and Taehyung, knowing that the girl group is kinda hot in their girlfriends’ ears, but what the hell are they hearing right now?
 The two just shrugged their shoulders, Taehyung finally opening the door. They all entered the house and noticed that the door to their gym room is open. Yoongi first saw Gail holding her tummy with her left hand, laughing, while her right hand is holding her phone, taking a video of the other 2 girls. “Ya! Why do you know the steps to this?!” Lexi asked Eunice as they dance to the chorus of Fancy, both of them panting from dancing and laughing. “I told you, Lexi, she dated a guy that’s a big fan of Twice.” Gail answered. “Is this the gamer guy?” Lexi asked. “Yeah, that one. He told me to listen to Twice, but I only liked and remembered Dahyun’s face.” Eunice said, Lexi poking her arm. “What are you? A magnet of guys that likes Twice?” Eunice laughed, quickly shooting Lexi back, “And you aren’t?” She winked, clearly pertaining to Taehyung’s rendezvous with Tzuyu, which made the three of them laugh again.
 The boys entered the gym room, seeing the girls in their workout clothes, but definitely done with their workout and draining their energy in something else. “Fuck, they’re here!” Gail announced, but the two remained unfazed, still continuing the dance just to complete the video that Gail is shooting. “Fancy, youuuuu~”, Eunice and Lexi sang complete with dance steps while looking at their boyfriends, making the rest of Bangtan laugh. Jimin and Taehyung just stood there smiling while Yoongi went to Gail and hugged her from behind.
 “Okay, fine, we’ll stop.” Eunice said and Lexi stopped dancing too, both of them running to their boyfriends to hug them. “Okay, that’s it, I won’t stand here just to be jealous.” Jungkook said and walked out, making his hyungs laugh. Jimin pulled Eunice outside the gym room, quickly grabbing a towel to wipe the sweat on her, “I don’t appreciate the backstabbing, bubba, but it’s alright.” Jimin joked. “At least, I’m not jealous anymore.” She stated. Jimin wiped her forehead, “And why is that?” Eunice acted like she’s thinking, “Maybe because my love for you is stronger than my jealousy.”
 All of them went to the dining area to eat. The dining table only has 7 chairs because it’s originally just the boys in the house. Lexi and Taehyung opted to be the ones to eat at the bar counter. Lexi is busy picking out all of the ingredients in Taehyung’s food that he doesn’t like to eat especially the spicy ones. “I miss you,” Taehyung said. Lexi’s eyebrows furrowed, “We were together yesterday, jagi.” Taehyung shrugged, “I know, but is it bad to miss my bestbestgirlfriend?”
 Lexi kissed Taehyung’s cheek, “Okay, lover boy, I miss you too.” Taehyung smiled and put more chicken on her plate, “Eat all of that. You’re getting thinner. Your ass is sticking out so much.” He commented. “Maybe because I’m just wearing cycling shorts, or maybe because you check me out all the time.” She said with a triumphant smile on her face. “Please, I’ve been checking you out since 2017.” Taehyung teased back.
 “Rianne-noona will arrive tomorrow, right?” Jungkook suddenly asked while they’re all busy eating. Seokjin instantly smiled and nodded his head, “Hoseok, please let me off the hook of dance practice just for one day!” He begged. Hoseok immediately answered, “No. Lexi can pick her up at the airport!” Seokjin was easily triggered, “Ya!! I haven’t seen my girlfriend for a year! If you’re not going to let me off the hook, stop dating my cousin!” He said, obviously blackmailing Hoseok. Seokjin felt Hoseok bear hug him, “I’m sorry, hyung! Fine! It’s your free day tomorrow!”
 ~
 The next day, with Seokjin off the hook and the boys incomplete in dance practice, they finished at 6 PM. Jimin, Taehyung and Yoongi are all rushing home just to get a glimpse on how the girls exercise. “Ya! It’s not like you don’t touch them! Why do you need to see them exercise?!” Jungkook asked his hyungs because they’re all urging him to drive faster. “The non-stop skinship is just on the early stages of relationship, Kook, when you get that feeling of settling down, it lessens.” Namjoon told Jungkook.
 “I don’t think that’ll happen for me and Eunice even if we already feel like settling down.” Jimin immediately objected. Taehyung just laughed, “Well, considering that you’re both eternal flirts to each other, I agree. For me and Lexi, it’s enough that we’re together.” He said before looking at Yoongi. Yoongi just raised his eyebrows, “What?”
 Hoseok asked Yoongi, “What about you and Gail, hyung?” Yoongi just smiled, “We’re…. private, really.” Jungkook innocently asked, “What do you do in private, hyung?” Yoongi reached forward to tap Jungkook’s head, “We just cling to each other, baby boy.” The statement made all of them laugh because Yoongi doesn’t really share much and Jungkook’s too innocent to ask.
 When they arrived at their house, Jimin and Taehyung rushed inside while Yoongi just casually walked, but the rest of the boys know that he wants to go inside too. Jimin and Taehyung saw Eunice and Lexi doing their plank without talking. “Why do you even bother wearing a shirt?” Jimin asked Eunice before sitting beside her, seeing that her shirt is pulled halfway up, only covering her bra. “Did I ask you why do you.. bother.. wearing a shirt.. at your concerts.. when you’re.. fuck.. just going to pull it up?” Eunice answered, her voice straining due to maintaining the plank position. Lexi laughed without looking at the two, Taehyung kissing her cheek before lying down and placing his head under Lexi’s head.
 Yoongi was the last one to enter, seeing Gail in the corner with some of his musical equipment connected to the speakers. It seems like she’s creating a beat and writing something. Yoongi immediately walked to her saying, “Okay, now. This is sexier.” He announced with a gummy smile and listened to what she was doing. “Isn’t that the one you were humming when we went on our date?” Yoongi asked, completely in awe. Gail nodded her head, “Yup. And this song will be for you so stop peeking at the lyrics.”
 Namjoon, Hoseok and Jungkook opted to just drop the three at their house and go out again to buy groceries. Without Yoongi and Jin, they just bought the basics and the ingredients that they usually use in the house. Jungkook was busy getting his supply of banana milk when a girl suddenly talked beside him, “I was hoping that you’ll leave even just one pack.” She said. Jungkook hid his pout as he wanted all of the last five in the rack before giving one to the girl. “Toshimaru?” He said, his smile forming immediately before willingly giving the banana milk to her.
 “I was just joking. I know you love your banana milk and I saw you so I thought I’d say hi.” She returned the banana milk that Jungkook handed to her. Jungkook smiled widely, “Then, hi to you too. I’ll be back at your tattoo parlor before you know it.” Toshimaru winked at him, “I’ll be counting on that. See you around!” She walked away while Jungkook went back to his hyungs.
 “Should we buy our supply for our weekend trip too?” Hoseok asked.
 ~
 “Want to go for a walk?” Taehyung asked Lexi after she changed to fresh clothes after their workout. Lexi looked at him sheepishly, Taehyung laughing at her, “Fine. Do you want to grab dinner outside? I want to take you out.” He said.
 “Japanese food?” Lexi asked before pulling her shorts down to change into pants. Taehyung planted his gaze to somewhere else, “Whatever you want. I just want to be with you.” Lexi pulled his chin for a quick kiss, “Why are you so shy to look? You’re my boyfriend now.”
 “I don’t know, jagi. I love you.” He kissed her again before pulling her outside. It’s chilly outside, good thing they’re both wearing coats. Taehyung felt the cold breeze on his bread cheeks instantly which is why he pulled Lexi’s hood over her head, held her hand and put it in one of his coat pockets.
 “Taehyung, you watch too much Kdramas.” Lexi said while giggling, holding his hand tighter inside his coat pocket. “You’re my reality, so I’m luckier than those actors.” He answered while they walk to one of the Japanese restaurants near the house. “I didn’t know you’re this sweet to your girlfriend. Maybe this is why a lot of girls chase after you.” Lexi said, thinking about Taehyung’s past dates who somewhat kisses her ass too just so he could like them more.
 “Ani. I was never like this to the others.” Taehyung looked at her endearingly before kissing her nose. Lexi pulled her hand from Taehyung’s coat pocket and wrapped both her arms on Taehyung’s body, “So sweet! How did I get so lucky when I’m the one who fell first?”
 “You’re in for a treat, my love, because I fell harder.” Taehyung winked before entering the Japanese restaurant with her. Lexi lagged behind a little, her stomach full of butterflies. Taehyung came back for her at the entrance before pulling her inside. They both sat on their chairs while they scan the menu.
 Taehyung ordered for the two of them before looking at Lexi again, “You know, it’s nice that everybody knows you’re my bestfriend.” He said, remembering that the fans don’t give any malice whenever they’re seen in public together since they know that they are bestfriends. “Yeah? Wait ‘til they know that I’m your girlfriend already. I’m going to receive hate messages.” Lexi said, smiling at him.
 “I doubt! They love you! Besides, you have your own fan base too.” Taehyung took a sip of his water before holding her hand. “You still forget that you’re famous, right?” He chuckled, winking at her again. “And you’re flirting with me in public.” She pointed out.
 Taehyung smiled at her teasingly, his bread cheeks coming into full view, “I don’t care. I’m proud that you’re my girl.” The food suddenly arrived, making the two eat in silence while catching glances of each other, occasionally laughing. After dinner, the two of them went on their way, walking to the other side of the road just to take the long way home.
 “Jagi,” Taehyung looked at his girlfriend when he heard her call him. “I’ll be gone for two to three weeks.” She said, hugging his left arm as they walked. Taehyung’s eyebrows furrowed, “Where are you going? Did I say yes?” He asked, rolling his eyes at her.
 “I don’t need your permission, silly. I’ll be training in Japan. The team wanted to train there for a time.” She said. Taehyung stood in front of her and cupped her face, “Can you please be a keychain so I can just carry you around?” He pouted, causing her to giggle and hug him. “Check the inside pocket of your coat, then.” Taehyung whispered.
 She pulled away from the hug and cupped the pockets of her coat. “What’s this?” She asked before pulling out a small box, Taehyung rubbed his neck as if he’s still shy, “I know your coach sometimes doesn’t like seeing accessories on you so I thought I’d get you an anklet, then I’ll be with you always, only in your socks.”
 Upon opening the box, Lexi saw an ankle bracelet with a simple design that won’t bulge in her socks if she’ll use it when she plays. “It looks like a rope, but it’s pretty. Thank you. I love you, Taehyung. I didn’t know what I did to deserve this.”
 Taehyung playfully bumped his arm to her, “It looks like a rope because then you’ll always be tied down to me. Besides, just being you is enough for me to give you everything you deserve.” He said while laughing at his intentions. “I love you too, my Lexi.”
 Lexi closed the lid of the box as they passed a streetlight. She smacked Taehyung’s arm, “Ya! This is Gucci! What did we talk about saving money?” Taehyung held his smacked arm, “Did we talk about saving money? I don’t remember!” He playfully said, but he’s fully aware that ever since they were bestfriends, Lexi is doing her best to help him manage his money.
 “Fine. That would be the last overspending for me.” Taehyung whispered, “But it won’t be my last overspending for you.” He said before running away, Lexi running after him to give him another smack wherever her hands can reach him.
 ~
 “Gombae!!” All twelve of them shout at the top of their lungs before downing a shot of soju. All of the boys have their partners with them except Namjoon and Jungkook which made them partners in every game that they’re playing for the weekend getaway. They’ve been drinking for 3 hours now which made everyone pretty drunk except for the ones who don't get drunk easily -- Seokjin, Jimin, Eunice, Yoongi and Lexi.
 Taehyung started being clingy with Lexi after the first glass. Jungkook started being talkative an hour ago too, along with Namjoon. Hoseok can’t stop talking to Maine while Rianne is already sitting on Seokjin’s lap. Jimin and Yoongi are both claiming that they’re not yet drunk but they’re both noisy and talkative. Eunice is just beside Jimin, holding his hand while laughing at everything that he says.
 “Stand up, jagi. You’ve had enough,” Lexi said before pulling Taehyung up from his chair. “But it’s too early! Besides, we can sleep in tomorrow.” Taehyung pouted, insisting that they should stay longer with the boys. “Tae, listen to your girlfriend. She knows you best.” Namjoon said while tapping his shoulder. It’s true, all throughout the years that they’ve been drinking with Lexi, she knows when to pull Taehyung out of the scene. In the end, they just trusted her with him the most.
 Taehyung pouted again and waved to the boys before wrapping his arm around Lexi and walking upstairs with her. Gail and Eunice both stood up to get more food in the kitchen while Maine and Rianne are just talking about the past. “Too bad you didn’t meet Cammie! You’re going to love her.” Rianne said to Maine. “Who’s Cammie again?” Maine asked, not in a sober state anymore. “Namjoon’s girlfriend! It’s nice that we’re a lot here now. Before, it’s just me, Cammie, Jeongyeon and Lexi.. and Lexi’s not even Taehyung’s girlfriend back then plus Jeongyeon’s always busy as an idol.”
 Seokjin tapped Rianne’s shoulder, “Love, enough..” He whispered before kissing her cheek. As much as the past is an open book, Seokjin is worrying that some of the members might find it as a sore topic. “Eunice reminds me of Jeongyeon-noona a lot though,” Jungkook said before downing another shot of soju. Jimin shot him a look, “You know that they’re different, Kook.” He defended. “I know, hyung. It’s just the.. height, maybe? Or the way that she’s not that girly.. or I don’t know, I just sometimes see Jeongyeon-noona in her.” Jungkook innocently stated.
 “I’ll see you upstairs.” Eunice suddenly said to Jimin before kissing him on his cheek and placing the plate of chicken in the middle of the table. “Kook, she heard you.” Hoseok said. Jungkook immediately apologized to Jimin before he ran after her.
 Namjoon is just staring at his drink before blurting out, “Gail reminds me so much of Cammie. It hurts, sometimes.” The members stared at each other awkwardly, knowing that Namjoon is not really a great topic before for Yoongi and Gail. “Namjoon..” Yoongi sternly said. “I’m sorry, hyung! Can you blame me? They’re almost the same!” Namjoon insisted.
 Yoongi stood up, his jealousy getting the best of him. This is one of the reasons why he’s so mad at Gail before for wanting Namjoon and not him, but he never said that to Gail. He knows that Gail is somewhat similar to Cammie, but they’re also different in so many ways. “Ya! Ya! Hyung, just.. go upstairs.” Hoseok said, standing between Namjoon and Yoongi. Yoongi scoffed before going inside, grabbing Gail from the kitchen and pulling her to their room upstairs.
 Cammie will always be a sore topic for all of them. Namjoon brushed his hair in frustration with a heavy sigh. His eyes are already welling up with tears, “Fuck. It’s been almost 2 years and it still hurts just the same.”
 ~
 Lexi is already used to Taehyung being drunk so it’s not a hard task to clean him up before tucking him into bed. He’s quick to fall asleep too so she just let him be before returning to the bathroom. She opted to take a bath before sleeping. After wearing her usual sleeping clothes, she slid in the middle of Taehyung’s arms, only to feel Taehyung pulling her closer and hugging her tighter. She smiled to herself and buried her face on Taehyung’s neck.
 “You’re leaving for Japan next week,” Taehyung said while playing with her hair. “I thought you’re asleep,” she replied, looking up at him. “I’m just dizzy, but I’m awake. I want to talk to you.” He said before looking at Lexi. “What’s with that strange face?” Lexi chuckled, “Yes, I’m leaving next week.”
 “I don’t want you to leave.” Taehyung confessed and hugged her tight again. “You’re my bestfriend and my girlfriend, we’ve been together since forever, but I don’t know why do I miss you all.. the.. fucking.. time.” He confessed.
 “Maybe you are in love?” Lexi said.
 “I really am.” Taehyung replied before pulling away from the hug and catching Lexi’s lips with his. He gently pushed her so she could lay on her back while he went on top of her. Lexi pulled away from the kiss, “Really? We’re going to do our first here in Seokjin-oppa’s house?” She asked teasingly.
 Taehyung kissed the side of her neck, while his hands rub Lexi’s waist, “There are reasons why this house has seven rooms and this is one of them.” Lexi rubbed Taehyung’s back, urging him to kiss her more, “I’m hurt. Oppa did not consider me when he renovated this house.”
 “Jagi.. he knew that we’re going to end up together. Appreciate him more.” Taehyung said before removing her shirt, quickly diving with kisses on the delve of her chest. “I love you. Is this okay?” Taehyung asked before he remove any of her clothes further.
 “I’ll hate you if you stop now.” Lexi answered before pulling him in for another kiss.
 ~
 “I’m sorry that I’m not the one you deserve.” Eunice said upon entering their room, Jimin following right after and closing their door. “Eunice, it’s not like that.” He defended. She faced him, rage obviously written on her face, “Maybe you just love me because you see her in me. Fuck, I’m really this dumb to think that you really love me.” Jimin sighed in frustration, “You think I don’t love you? You think this is all fake? I hid my idol life to you before, yes, but I am always honest about my feelings. Why are you thinking like that?!”
 They did not notice that both of them are raising their voice to each other, both not wanting to back down due to frustration and anger. They don’t know if it’s the alcohol in their brains that made them spew those words to each other because their sober selves will always be gentle.
 “You can just admit that you don’t love me and I’ll be out of here, of your life.” Eunice said, Jimin quickly held her and pushed her against the wall, caging her between his arms, “Eunice, fuck, how can you think like that? You’re the only person I can love even when you’re away, you’re the only person who can make me feel..” He brushed his hair, “..this frustrated and I still want to kiss the shit out of you to prove that I love you. Do you really think I want you out of my life? Think straight! This is not even a reason to fight and you’re acting like a child!” Jimin stared at her while she stared at the floor.
 Eunice walked away from Jimin, then slumped on their bed, face down. She let out a deep sigh when she felt Jimin slump along with her, his left arm wrapping itself on her waist, pulling her closer. Jimin looked at her even if her face is buried on the mattress. “Jungkook is just drunk, bubba.” He said, consoling her, rubbing circles on her back.
 “Drunk people are honest people.” She said, looking back at him. Jimin smiled as he saw her cheek plump more as it hits the mattress, “I’m kinda drunk too, and I’m saying that you’re not like her.” Eunice just smiled at him, rubbing her thumb on his cheek. She just studied Jimin’s facial features, thinking if she really deserves all this, or if Jimin really loves her and not only because she’s like his ex.
 “Oh, bubba..” Jimin said before pulling her to a hug. “Your eyes look so sad. I’m sorry, bubb, please.” He just felt his neck getting wet with her tears, “Say something.” Jimin whispered. Eunice just shook her head and continued to cry, “Why are you crying? I thought you’re not jealous anymore? I’m so sorry if you feel that way.” He asked.
 “Don’t say sorry,” she said in between sobs. “You’re hurting me when you say sorry when it’s not even your fault. I’m sorry, I’m being immature.” Eunice said. Jimin moved away from her, sitting up and pulling her to his lap. They’re just staring at each other with her tears continuously falling from her eyes.
 Eunice is trying her best to stop the tears, her breath hitching at the process. Jimin knew she has anxiety attacks every once in a while, she’s been honest ever since they talked in Busan, but he didn’t know it’s like this. “I’m sorry, Jimin. I won’t take it.. against you, if it’s really her. I can always come back home.”
 Jimin was taken aback by what she said, silently cursing all of the people that made Eunice feel like she’s always wrong, “Are you breaking up with me?” He asked. “I don’t know. Do you want to break up with me?”
 “No, dumbass. I am your home. What are you talking about coming back home?” Jimin cupped her face and kissed the tears away. “I’m sorry for lashing out on you. I wasn’t thinking straight. You’re right, this is not a reason to fight.” She apologized before hugging Jimin.
 “I love you. Are you okay now?” Jimin asked, “Are we okay now?” He clarified. Eunice whispered, “Can we cuddle? My chest hurts.” Jimin smiled, gently laying her down in bed and hugging her, “Does this take the pain away?” He asked.
 “You take the pain away. I love you.” She answered, basking in Jimin’s presence and wondering how can someone love another person this deep for a short period of time. Maybe it’s real, that time means nothing when you love. If you feel, you feel.

 After going back inside the house, Yoongi found Gail in the kitchen arranging the nachos on the plate complete with its toppings. “Baby, come.” He says before grabbing her hand to pull her upstairs.
 “What? Why? Let me bring this to them first.” She said, letting go of his hand. “They’ll just have to get that themselves. Come with me.” Yoongi held her hand again and pulled her. She did not object anymore, rather, she just looked at Yoongi while they walked.
 Yoongi slammed the door loudly, with Gail shocked at the force. He lied down on the bed, brushed his hair in frustration, rolled his eyes and stared at the ceiling. “Did something happen? Why are you in a bad mood, baby?” Gail just stood by the door, not wanting to go near Yoongi because he looks so angry.
 “Why are you standing there? I won’t hurt you.” Yoongi said before waving his hand for Gail to come closer. Gail sat beside him, “So, what happened? You have to help me here.”
 “I don’t want to tell you. You might get butterflies in your stomach and leave me.” Yoongi said, pouting like a child. Gail sighed, “Is this about Namjoon?” She asked.
 Yoongi looked at her, “See? He still gives you butterflies in your stomach!” Gail chuckled, “No, he doesn’t. You give me the butterflies, but you, my butterfly giver, is also so damn jealous of him.”
 Yoongi sighed and held her hand, “I’m not really jealous of him because you liked him before. I’m jealous because he might like you back too.” Gail was shocked by what Yoongi said, but also decided not to react too much because he might just get angry with her.
 “Why?”
 “You always hear Taehyung or Jungkook talking about Cammie, right?” He asked, Gail just nodding. “You see, Cammie is Namjoon’s girlfriend even before our debut.”
 Gail doesn’t know how did that relate to her so she just asked, “And what does that have to do with me?” Yoongi placed one of his fingers in front of Gail’s lips, “Shh.”
 “We all came to love Cammie, not romantically, but the same way we all love Lexi. You have similarities with her. You’re both an artist, a good singer, smart, outgoing. Ever since you told me that you like Namjoon, I have this heavy feeling in my chest that maybe, the girl that I love is not really meant for me. What if you’re really for Namjoon? What if you just met me so you could meet him?” Yoongi chuckled at the thought.
 He sighed and that didn’t escape Gail’s eyes, “That won’t happen, Yoongi.” He just stared at the ceiling, “What if this is the universe’ way of replacing Cammie in Namjoon’s life? They really loved each other, you know.. before she left. You have no idea how scared I am everyday, that maybe you’ll wake up and you won’t want me anymore. I can’t lose you, Gail. I don’t know if I make that clear to you everyday, but I can’t lose you.”
 Gail thought of all the mornings that they wake up together, Yoongi is always the first one to say ‘I love you, I hope you’ll never get tired of me.’. It didn’t sink into her back then, but now it makes sense. “Well, my baby, if she really loves him, she won’t leave him.” Gail said. “Just like right now, I won’t leave you because I love you. You’ve got to give yourself a little more credit than that.” She reassured him.
 “I love you more, baby. But you don’t understand. Leaving Namjoon isn't Cammie's choice.” Yoongi stated, brushing the stray hair away from Gail’s face. “What do you mean by it’s not her choice? Where is Cammie anyway?” She asked.
 Yoongi was about to answer when Hoseok suddenly entered the room, “Fuck, hyung, I’m sorry, but I need to borrow your car. Please, this is urgent.” Hoseok said, his hand already spread out, waiting for Yoongi to give him his keys.
 “What? Why?” Yoongi asked.
 “It’s Maine. She went away and she used my car. I just need to follow her, hyung. I don’t know what message she received on her phone for her to flee away so quickly.” Hoseok said, panic evident in his eyes.
 “It’s on top of the refrigerator.” Yoongi said, Hoseok quickly ran outside the room. Yoongi stood up from the bed to go out, seeing that the others were in the living room too. He saw Hoseok run outside with his car keys, while Seokjin is busy with his phone, repeatedly saying, “Charmaine, pick the fuck up.”
 Yoongi went down the stairs, while the others are already sitting in the living room.
 “Jin-hyung, can you explain to us what really is happening between Hoseok and Maine? What are you all running from?” Yoongi asked, all eyes now looking at Seokjin.
 Seokjin sighed, “Ever since the start of their relationship, I already told them that it’s an endless chase, but the two won’t listen to me.”
 “What do you mean, hyung?” Jungkook asked.
 “You see, those two met each other in a pub near Hoseok’s apartment.” Seokjin said.
 All of them just stared at him, “And?”

Masterlist
Prologue Ch 1 Ch 2
You flipped through the dossiers for the hundredth time that morning alone. The team, actually, wasn't all that bad. You had seen Falsworth in action just last year, no doubt he already had the majority of this training. There was a Harvard graduate, fluent in three languages, you wondered if he would be willing to learn a fourth. Next, a member of the resistance with an expertise in explosives. After that, an army ranger able to speak Japanese, and a man that, quite frankly, looked like he was trying to impersonate Teddy Roosevelt. All in all, they weren't nearly as bad as you had been expecting, and from first encounters, they all seemed enjoyable as well.
You paused when you flipped to Bucky’s dossier. The black and white photo really didn't do him justice. Not that the photo was bad, just that it really couldn't quite capture his eyes or his smile for that matter. Reading his dossier was like reading his exhibit in the Smithsonian, all cold facts and information that failed to perfectly reflect the man you had met just two days ago. It felt so surreal, knowing someone who was so full of life and knowing that they were going to die. You thought back to the exhibit, clearly, he wasn't supposed to die in Azzano, you thought that had sounded wrong. But for the life of you, you couldn't quite recall how he was supposed to die, just vaguely something about a train. You wondered if there was a way to prevent it.
If you even could.  Any time you tried to prevent anything, it never worked. Either way, you needed to stop worrying about him. As charming as he was, you had a job to do, a home to get back to.  And you weren't about to let some pretty eyes distract you. Especially, when those eyes belonged to someone from the god damned ‘40s.
A tug on your hair pulled you from your thoughts, making you jump. You looked back to see Bucky in the back of the Jeep you were waiting in, a boyish grin plastered on his face, and Steve rolling his eyes next to him. “Really Barnes? Pulling on girls' hair? What are you, ten?”
“Can’t argue with methods that work Doll.” He beamed, “We’ve been tryin’ to get your attention a few minutes now. And I thought I was Sergeant Barnes.”
“Last I checked, ten-year-olds don't get to be sergeants.” You said with a teasing look.
“Shoulda told him that when he enlisted,” Steve said with a smile, elbowing Bucky in the side.
You furrowed your brow, “Enlisted?” Bucky frowned, giving a nearly imperceptible shake of his head. “I’m not used to working with men who willingly enlisted.” You quickly lied. Clearly, Steve had no idea Bucky was drafted, and that was not something you were about to reveal yourself. “Are you and your men ready to go?”
“Yes, Ma’am.” Steve nodded, glancing behind his shoulder and then at Bucky, “We’re all present and accounted for.”
You smiled and nodded to the driver, “You heard the man. Shouldn't need me to tell you to get this show on the road.” The soldier grunted, and the Jeep moved forward with a jolt. “The camp is about half an hour out, but a warm meal should be waiting for everyone when we get there.”
“Sounds great,” Steve said, “Any idea on what this training will entail?”
“Nope,” You popped the ‘p’ for emphasis. “Haven't been planning it out all weekend of anything.” You looked back to see Steve slightly flushed. Smiling, you shifted in your seat to talk to them easier, “I’ve got what Phillips wants you to know, I’ve got what I know you guys need to know to survive alone in Germany, and then I’ve got whatever the hell it is Stark has cooked up for your ace team. I figure if you boys learn one or two things each during the next few weeks, were golden.”
“One or two things each?” Steve questioned, “Don't you think you're setting the bar low?”
You shook your head, “Absolutely not. This training facility is for training spies and saboteurs, people that need to be able to survive in a warzone completely and totally alone. Most of the recruits won't even make it the first two weeks. If I held your team to the same standard, over half of them would fail. It’s nothing wrong with them, the training is just that strict and we don’t have time to mess around. Hell, I would have failed it if I didn’t cheat a little.”
Bucky laughed, “You sure you should be telling us that Doll?”
“What are they going to do?” You asked, “Fire me? As much as Phillips hates me, he knows he can’t afford to fire me. It's a very interesting sense of job security.”
“I’m sure Col. Phillips doesn’t hate you,” Steve said, sounding entirely unsure himself. Peggy, no doubt, told him about the countless little squabbles you had gotten into with Col. Phillips.
“The entire reason I was assigned to train you is because Phillips thinks it will keep me out of his hair.” You said, looking out the jeep to the frostbitten countryside. You had no doubt Phillips didn't mind the idea of you freezing your ass off in the middle of winter either, just as long as he didn't have to deal with you.
“Speaking of trains,” Bucky spoke up, “I thought you said you were going to meet us on the trains, not picking us up from it.”
You looked at him with an eyebrow raised, “I was. Then I got tired of waiting and took the last train out on Friday. I don't like staying in one place long.”
“We were barely in London for a few days Doll.” His flirtatious smile made you bite back a smile of your own.
“What exactly is this ‘Doll’ nonsense?” You asked, locking eyes with Bucky. “Last I checked I wasn’t a doll.”
“You’re as pretty as one though,” He winked and your heart skipped. How someone could possibly be so damn charming, you had no idea.
“Wow.” You said, your lips finally curling upwards. “Bet you break a lot of hearts with that one.”
His face went stony as if you had accused him of something serious. “Never intentionally. I would never break a dame’s heart if I could help it.”
“You better be careful then,” You said softly, “Flirting like that is liable to break more than a few.” Something about how he said it, how earnest his voice sounded, made you want to believe him. However, you had no doubt in your mind that he had unintentionally broken many hearts.
“I’ll keep that in mind.” He said, seriousness fading only barely. He was a good man, you decided, better than most. Which only made his fate rest even more uneasily in your mind. He didn’t deserve to die. You barely knew him and still felt with all your heart that you wanted to save him.
The rest of the ride to the camp was peacefully quiet, save for a few quips back and forth between Steve and Bucky. And, as promised, dinner awaited all of them when they arrived. The length of the trip took the majority of the day, leaving the men the evening to settle in. Tomorrow would be the start of their training, and the start of a very long two months.
The next few days proved to be interesting. The commandoes quickly fell into a daily routine, in the mornings would be general physical training and combat training, mainly trying the group trying to learn how the hell to fight with a shield. The afternoons after lunch would be far more varying, the subject would change daily, covering a wide variety of topics, from picking locks to explosives and demolition. Bucky found the routine to be strangely comforting as if he were back in basic and not training to be some elite force for Captain America. Of course, his basic training never had a pretty woman supervising over it.
It was easy for Bucky to grow fond of you in the week that he had known you thus far. Fiery and sassy, You were quick to argue with just about everyone if you felt so inclined. Frankly, you reminded him of Steve in a lot of ways. Just being around you had the ability to put Bucky in a good mood. Which was exactly why he was grinning like an idiot as he and Steve trekked down to the explosives range after lunch.
You were carrying crates from a truck with Dernier as the two men approached, early for training by at least fifteen minutes. As you lifted a particularly large crate Bucky stepped in to take it from you. “I can carry it, Sergeant.” You said, refusing to give over the crate.
He gave you a cocky smile, “Sorry doll, but if my Ma found out I didn’t help a woman carry something so heavy, she’d have my hide.” You looked at him for a moment, considering his argument, before smiling and handing over the crate.
“Take it to the pile by the tables, you too Steve,” You ordered, nodding at steve who was grabbing a crate of his own. “Once you’re there, help Jacques unpack them onto the tables.” The men nodded and followed your direction, carrying the crates to the tables. They were hardly halfway there when you passed them with an even larger crate, a devilish smirk on your face. “Come on boys, at least try to keep up!”
The men stopped in their tracks, bewildered. Steve was the first to crack, laughing so hard he nearly dropped his crate. “Careful punk,” Bucky warned. “Don’t need Captain America blowing up on us.”
“I was wondering why she gave in so easy,” Steve said, regaining his composure and continuing toward the tables where you and Dernier were now unpacking various explosive chemicals.
Bucky chuckled, “Yeah, shoulda really expected something like that, huh?” He said, setting his crate next to Steve’s. Bucky looked up at you as he opened up the box, barely paying attention to what he was doing. You really was something, just about everything you did somehow managed to play on Bucky’s mind on repeat even hours after it had happened. After all the things Bucky had seen and experienced, your presence was almost ethereal, too good to be true. “She’s funny like that, ain't she. Most gals would have loved to have someone helping them.”
“Her and Peggy are cut from the same cloth,” Steve said, setting a box of TNT onto the table.
Bucky pulled wires and fuses from his crate, tearing his attention away from you. “You think so?” Bucky really didn't know Peggy well, besides when she completely rejected him at the bar, but Steve seemed head over heels for you. Bucky was pretty sure that he’d heard more about Peggy in the last few days than he had about anyone else coming from Steve.
“I don’t think she would be friends with anyone who wasn’t,” Steve said, leaning against the table. “You seem to like her though.” Bucky rolled his eyes; as if that wasn’t the most obvious statement in the world. He had been openly flirting with you since you met. Unfortunately, despite your flirting back, you seemed perfectly content keeping Bucky at a distance.
“Steve!” you called from a different table. “Toss me a bundle of TNT please.” Steve obliged, tossing the bundle with an underhand throw directly into your arms. “Thanks!” You said with a smile and a nod before turning back to Dernier.
“Why is it you get to be Steve and I’m still ‘Sergeant Barnes’?” Bucky complained. “I’m the only one she calls by rank and last name.”
Steve shrugged, “She calls Col. Phillips by rank and last name.” he said, looking over one of the TNT bundles.
“Steve,” Bucky crossed his arms, “She hates Col. Phillips.”
Steve chuckled, “I’m pretty sure she’s doing it to fuck with you, Buck. If its really bothering you, ask her to stop.” He tossed the bundle in his hand into the air, catching it again with ease. “How big do you think the explosion would be if we blew up a whole box of these?”
Bucky stared at his friend, knowing exactly what was going through his head. A boyish smile grew on Bucky’s face “You think it’ll be anything like that Fourth of July when we were teenagers?” He asked, taking the last box of TNT from the crate.
“I was thinking more along the lines of Loony Toons.” Steve said, “Big crater in the grounds, burn marks everywhere.”
Bucky laughed, he could only imagine it. Bucky took the bundle from Steve’s hands. “Only one way to find out right? I bet you a dollar it’s like the fireworks. These things are basically giant firecrackers right?” He said, taking the box and bundle out away from the tables until he was sure it was safe. After setting the box down, he lit the bundle with his lighter and threw it into the box, before backing away to what he thought was a safe distance.
Bucky glanced back at Steve as the TNT went off. He didn't have a chance to react as the force of the blast sent him flying backward. His ears rang as he blinked away the shock. He didn't feel hurt, so that was a good sign, but damn, if he didn't expect that.
“Bucky?! Holy shit are you okay?” A frantic voice asked. Still dazed, he turned his head to see you and Steve next to him. “You could have died!” You fretted over him, checking for injuries. “I thought you would have been the responsible one after Steve tried to walk to Austria. Jesus Christ. But no, here you are, almost blowing yourself up.”
“I am the responsible one.” He argued. Steve scoffed and shook his head, but didn’t try to deny it, knowing he would be proven wrong. Bucky blinked a few more times while brushing dust out of his hair until the realization struck him. “Since when do you call me Bucky?”
You scowled, “You almost got yourself killed and you're seriously focusing on what name I call you?”
Bucky smirked, “What can I say Doll, I was expecting the blast.”
You groaned, “Next time Barnes, run twice the distance you think you need to.” You rubbed your face and sighed. “What the hell were you even thinking?”
“That that punk was gonna do it if I didn’t,” He said, gesturing to Steve. You stared at Steve, who returned your inspection with a sheepish smile as if to say that Bucky was completely right. “That had a hell of a lot more kick than the fireworks. That’s for sure.”
You rolled your eyes, “We were already going to blow it up!” You tried to continue to scold, but Bucky could see the corners of your lips twitching upwards. “Seriously, I actually will get fired if I let Captain America die on my watch.”
Bucky stood up and pulled a dollar bill from his pocket, handing it to Steve. “Trust me Doll, as long as I’m alive, I’m gonna make sure Steve is too.”
Your face clouded over, “I don’t want you to die either.” You said with a level of earnestness that threw Bucky off.
“I ain’t gonna die on ya either.” He reassured, but you didn't seem to be convinced.
You took a deep breath, “Come on, the others are almost here.” You said, pointing at the three men coming down the hill. “We’ve gotta teach you all how to blow shit up without blowing yourself up in the process.”
Taglist (If you want to be added, ask. if you don’t see your name here and you did ask, I probably tagged you in the OC version, or think you have already read up to this point in the OC story. You will still be tagged when theres a true new part) :

part 1/?
word count: 1722
genre: fluff
pairing: reader x johnny (minor ten x jaehyun on the side)
summary: you weren’t planning on joining your high school’s co-ed volleyball team, but when you find out the one and only johnny seo is playing, you can’t help but be grateful ten was able to convince you to join afterall.
~~~
you jolt awake to the familiar yet unpleasant tune of your alarm blaring from your phone, which is sitting on your bedside table. you reach over blindly to turn it off, taking a moment to lie in the darkness. you groan and rub your hands over your face, wondering why you ever thought joining the co-ed volleyball team was a good idea--if your best friend, ten, hadn't bribed you with the promise of rides to and from school every day for the rest of the year, you probably wouldn't have joined. you roll over and check your phone, noticing 3 missed calls from ten. you sigh, holding the phone to your ear and calling him back while you slide out of bed and make your way to the light switch. after a few rings, he finally picks up.
"y/n!!! you better be ready to go!! i'm coming to get you in five minutes." his voice (way too loud for this time in the morning) bursts into your ear. you hold your phone out to the side a little in an effort to save your eardrums, squinting as you flick on the light.
"what?? i thought you said we were leaving at 6:45! i'm still in my pajamas, ten!" you reply--you were expecting at least another 15 minutes to get ready.
"well, i changed my mind. we're going early. a little birdie--taeyong--told me that that cutie jaehyun is playing this year, and i NEED to see that boy asap. plus, he's friends with that tall kid you like--maybe he's playing too! all the more reason to go. EARLY."
"first of all, i'm pretty sure jaehyun doesn't know you exist. second of all, for the millionth time, I DON'T LIKE ANYONE! all i said was the tall kid from our english class is cute. that does NOT mean i like him, ten. and third of all--fine, we can go early. but only if you pick up lisa too."
"okay, FIRST of all...you don't know that! and even if it's true, it's about to change. second of all, y/n, i know you, and i also sit beside you in english and can see you doodling his name all over your notes. and third of all, of course we can pick her up! see you in 5, honey!"
the phone clicks as ten hangs up. you hadn't felt nervous for practice until now, but all of a sudden butterflies begin to swarm in your stomach. you're not sure what changed, but you swallow your nerves as you pull sweatpants over your shorts and tug a hoodie on over your old t-shirt from provincial championships last season. you slide your feet into sandals and snatch your volleyball bag and your backpack--including a set of clothes to wear for the school day after practice--on your way to the kitchen. just as you're reaching into the box of granola bars, you hear a car horn beep aggressively from the driveway. you cringe as your dog, ruby, starts barking. you send ruby a death glare as you grab an apple from the fruit basket, then rush out the door and into the passenger seat of ten's car.
"took you long enough! let's roll," he says, reversing out of the driveway and making his way around the block to lisa's house. you always wonder how he has so much energy in the morning.
the rest of the short drive to school is filled with ten and lisa chattering back and forth over the radio while you press your forehead against the window and try (to no avail) to fall back asleep.
"ugh, y/n, stop being so edgy, there's cute boys awaiting!" ten says as he shakes you awake. you decide to ignore his comment, climbing out of the car and trailing behind your two friends towards the gym.
you turn down the hallway to the changeroom and see two boys talking quietly as they fill up their water bottles. your cheeks flush red as you recognize one of them as johnny from your english class.
"see you in the gym folks, i have a water bottle that needs filling--immediately." ten states as he makes a beeline for the water fountain, where you now notice jaehyun (who's been ten's hallway crush since he transferred to your school at the beginning of the semester two weeks ago) standing beside johnny. ten turns to give you a wink, before making conversation with the two boys (mostly jaehyun).
***
you and lisa walk into the gym, where small groups of people stand scattered around. you recognize pretty much everyone from either the senior girls or guys volleyball teams, although there's a couple juniors you don't know who were invited to play. ten is still chatting to jaehyun, who is smiling down at your best friend with rosy cheeks. you roll your eyes--ten never fails to catch his target. you giggle to yourself as you watch johnny stand there awkwardly as jaehyun and ten continue talking, seemingly having forgotten johnny's presence. he turns to scan the gym, and you lock eyes with him for a second before you turn to look away, cheeks even more red than before. you adjust your hair, then turn to look at the list of teams that are signed up:
team #1:
ten (LIB)
lisa (LS)
lucas (LS)
jungwoo (S)
taeyong (RS/captain)
y/n (MB)
doyoung (MB)
  team #2
chuu (LIB)
jaehyun (LS)
yves (LS)
mark (S)
rose (RS)
johnny (MB/captain)
yuta (MB)
  team #3
jaemin (LIB)
jeno (LS)
haechan (LS)
yeojin (S)
renjun (RS)
olivia (MB/captain)
jisung (MB)
  you and lisa chat for a bit about the lineups, excited to get started, until coach lee blows his whistle. everyone in the gym hustles over to where he's standing by the net, silently waiting in excitement and anticipation for the beginning of the season.
"alright, welcome to the first day of co-ed volleyball! you all finally pestered principal kim enough to let us have a team, so here we are. seniors, good to see your faces again--welcome to a couple of our new players, jaehyun and rose, we're excited to have you. juniors, even though you're not gonna be in the final cut for the team, i hope you still have fun while you're here. you all will be in these three teams for the next month for any team-based drills we do, and for games we play at the end of practice. i hope you can all still bond with each other on the court and off the court, as at the end of the month, i'll be choosing 10 of you to take to the championships. so you'd best show me what you've got! let's get started; warm up with some pepper in partners."
coach lee blows the whistle, and everyone scatters, grasping at their nearest friend. you spy ten and jaehyun joined at the hip as they go to get a ball, leaving johnny behind. johnny smirks and rolls his eyes as his friend walks away with yours, then turns awkwardly looking around the gym, rubbing the back of his neck and biting his lip. you feel lisa nudge you from behind.
"go, silly! now's your chance!" she whispers eagerly.
"no! then you won't have a partner!" you whine in response.
"pshhh, i'll be fine! that new girl needs a partner anyways, i'll join her." lisa says as she jogs over to rose.
you hear a gentle cough from behind you, and you turn around to see johnny standing there with a ball.
"do you, uh, have a partner? mine kinda ditched me, haha," he says, looking over to where ten and jaehyun are warming up together.
"you do now! sorry about ten, he's pretty social." you respond, surprised at how calm you are in the face of possibly the cutest boy you've ever seen. johnny laughs, and motions for you to follow him to the other side of the court.
"i'm johnny--i think you're in my english class?" he says; you're surprised he noticed you.
"yeah! i'm y/n, it's nice to officially meet you, johnny." you say, sticking your hand out. johnny shakes it, a warm smile growing on his face.
***
the rest of the practice flies by; mostly it's just basic drills to get everyone back into the rhythm. any time there's a partner drill, your heart flutters as johnny immediately turns to you (one time, ten sees and sticks his tongue out at you then gives you a thumbs up). before you know it, practice is over and you're doing cool down stretches. you and lisa go to find ten; you spot him sitting on the bench beside jaehyun. the two boys have their phones out--honestly, you aren't even surprised ten's got his number already.
"ten! let's go!" you call to him.
"one second, y/n!" he replies, turning back to jaehyun quickly before jogging over to you, a smug look on his face.
"guess who has a movie date for friday night," he boasts.
"ooh, are you going to see the new spiderman movie? i hear it's really good," you ask. before ten can reply you hear a deep voice from behind you.
"are you guys talking about the new spiderman movie? i've heard it's fantastic!" johnny pipes in.
"well, you can come with us on friday! be there or be square, i'll pick you up at 6," ten replies.
"cool, i can't wait!" johnny says, making eye contact with you the whole time. "see you in english!" he says, running off to meet up with jaehyun.
you turn to ten.
"what are you doing??" you question.
"setting you up with the love of your life, DUH" he responds.
"he probably just wants to see the movie with his friends! i don't know if he wants me there. plus, won't it be awkward with you and jaehyun on a literal date?"
"oh y/n, sometimes you can be so blind. trust me, it'll be fine. you guys'll practically be on your own date!" he gives you a look that says 'you don't have a choice in this'.
"fine," you agree. the three of you leave the gym and hit the changerooms, and although you won't admit it to ten, you've already started counting down the hours til friday.
The Experiments
Tumblr media
Genre: Sci-Fi, Thriller, experiment au
Pairing: Fem!Reader x Exo (????)
Summary: You were a med school graduate who just wanted to help research cures for the world. Instead, what you got was a dream job at EXO Applied Sciences. That is, until you discover the secrets of Level Sixty-Six and the nine inhabitants that inhabit there….
Part: 1 I 2 I 3 I 4 I 5 I 6 I 7 I 8 I 9 I 10 I 11 I 12 I 13 I 14 I 15 I 16 I 17 I 18 I 19 I 20 I 21 I 22 I 23 I Final
A/N: This is a story that had been bouncing around in my head for a while. I hope you all enjoy it! The pairing is unknown right now because I’m still trying to decide who (y/n) should end up with. BTWs the picture is not mine. Happy reading!! XOXO
**
EXO Applied Sciences and Operations was the dream job. You had to be at the top of your class to entertain the idea of the company as a possibility and even then, there’s no application process. You have to be offered the job personally, no exceptions. Those who wanted to spend their lives doing research and finding cures vied for the right to be accepted there. And that was exactly your goal.
Since high school, you knew you wanted to be a doctor. By the time you got into medical school and had to start boggling down on a specialty, you realized you didn’t want to be in an OR or the ER; you just didn’t have the steady hands for that. But you liked the experiments. You liked analyzing the data and coming to conclusions, finding the answers to problems those before you couldn’t solve.
All the hard work paid off. You graduated third of your class. Not exactly the top spot, but it was enough. The day of your graduation ceremony, after all the cheers, speeches, and annoying traditions that still somehow get carried on, a man in a black suit pulled you off to the side, handing you a large manila envelope. At home when you were alone, with shaking hands and a pounding heart, you opened the package. Sliding out the stack of papers, you read the first sentence and nearly fell off the couch.
It was the invitation you’d been waiting for. All the information you needed to accept the job was right at your fingertips and you didn’t hesitate. But those first six months were brutal.
Though it wasn’t officially “entry level”, it might as well been. On your first day they introduced you to the other new hires in your area and dropped you off in a large laboratory where the walls were lined with filing cabinets and a long table in the middle littered with desktops.
You were on paper pushing duty. As the results of the experiments that other people were conducting came in, it was up to you and the other bottom feeders to organize, sort, and label the findings and put them in the filing cabinet to be easily accessible later on. If someone came in needing those results, you were there to find the file and check it out in the system. There was only one room that was off limits to all of you in the laboratory. A special code encrypted on the company-issued badge was needed to gain access. The others around you were all dying to know what lied beyond the secret door, but you didn’t really care. You just wanted out of that damn filing position.
As the months rolled by, you watched the faces of the people around you change. Some were transferred to other departments while others just flat out quit. You held on, though, just needing to get through the grilling trial of being the newbie. You weren’t going to quit just because the road got a little bumpy. But it was a bit disheartening to watch others be freed while you were left behind.
It was another day of expected boring paperwork when your luck finally change. As soon as you clocked in, you were pulled out of the laboratory and into the office of Dr. Kwon Daesuk. You’d never met him, but you’d heard some of the other doctors whisper his name as they passed through the lab right to the secret door. Worry washed over you. Had you done something wrong? Had important files gone missing?
Dr. Kwon was sitting at his large desk looking over files as you entered. As one of the top researches for EXO, it was no surprise that he was up there in the age department. His hair was more silver than black and his face was littered with crevasses that wrinkled even more when he frowned. Though he wasn’t as big as some of the other doctor’s you’d seen, he did have a little extra weight on him that gave him the aura of a grandfather you could trust.
When he saw you standing in his doorway, he motioned for you to sit down in one of the simple, dark wooden chairs in front of him. The upholstery was a garish green and tan paisley pattern. At least you were sitting on it and not having to stare at it.
“Good morning, Dr. (L/n),” he greeted, closing the files. “I’m sure you’re wondering why I’ve called you here today?”
You nodded cautiously, your entire work history running through your mind. As far as you remembered you hadn’t had anything disciplinary worthy happen.
“Well, we’ve been monitoring your work here so far and you seem to be very dedicated. As you certainly are aware, most people don’t make it to the sixth month mark. We wanted to be sure of your determination.”
“Working for EXO Applied Sciences has been my dream for a long time,” you answered honestly. “I wasn’t just going to give it up for some pharmaceutical company that I have no interest in because I wasn’t handed a lead position right of the bat. If that meant another six months of filing before being moved to a team, I’d do it.”
Dr. Kwon grinned. “That’s exactly what I like to hear. Dr. (L/n), you’re no longer stationed in the holdings lab. We’re moving you to level sixty-six.”
You nearly choked on the air in your throat. Level sixty-six was deep underground and the most secretive area in all of EXO. It was where the government sanctioned experiments and top-secret holdings that no one but the select few knew about were located. It was also access to the forbidden room.
“Your thesis on using animal DNA to heal injuries and cure diseases was fascinating and exactly the kind of ideas we need here.” He tossed over a badge to your side of the desk. Your picture that you’d taken on your first day here was smiling up at you and a tiny new symbol that you couldn’t quite make out from this distance was shining in the top right-hand corner. It looked like a hexagon, but you’d have to confirm it later with a closer look. “You’ll need this to gain access to the basement. Come with me. We’ll start the tour.”
You followed him out of the office and back to the laboratory that you would no longer call home. Your former coworkers watched you pass the tables, their eyes growing wider than petri dishes at the realization of where you were headed. Dr. Kwon stopped in front of the door that, until now that it, had never really given you excitement.
“Ladies first.”
With a little worry that your badge wouldn’t work, you held it up to the square black pad off to the side and watched with glee as the small red light switched to green. Dr. Kwon opened the door slowly and allowed you to enter first. Whatever your imagination had conjured up about this room, it was a complete let down that shouldn’t really have surprised you.
Bright florescent lighting stung your eyes as the beams bounced off of the white and chrome surfaces. Twelve individual filing cabinets lined the walls, four drawers high. Each cabinet had its own designated number, large and black on the top drawer. Three of them had a harsh red “X” passing through them.
You turned around to face Dr. Kwon, who was smiling at you expectantly. “What exactly is housed in here? I mean, what do we do on level sixty-six?”
More importantly, what would you be doing there? And would you constantly be having to ride the elevator up here?
A little chuckle left his thin lips. “Well, my dear, level sixty-six is where we conduct the human trials. Thanks to grants given by our wonderful government, we’re working on the ultimate soldier.”
“Super soldiers?” you scoffed. That was seriously still a thing? “Like Captain America?”
“Not quite,” Dr. Kwon countered, walking over to the filing cabinet labeled “12” and pulled out a file. He handed it over to you. Inside was a standard info sheet, including the subject’s date of birth and their current height, and weight. All that was missing was their picture. “They’re Special Forces, but we’re concentrating on the healing factor, especially for severe injuries, along with unique abilities that could come in handy in covert operations.”
Now your interest was piqued. “What kind of abilities?”
“In time, in time.” Dr. Kwon took the file back and replaced it into the cabinet.
Your eyes settled in the large red “X”’s. “What happened to these three?”
Dr. Kwon frowned. “They were transferred to our Chinese division. They’re doing much better over there.”
There was no explanation for it, but for some reason the way he phrased the transfer set you on edge, like a ghost story around a campfire. But there was nothing unusual about a patient moving to another building for further testing. Maybe your nerves were just getting the best of you today.
“Come now, let’s introduce you to your new coworkers.” Leading the way to the elevator, Dr. Kwon explained to you how your full hours were to be taken in the basement, including lunch breaks, just for precaution’s sake. There was a fully stocked break room and bathroom facility, so the only reason to ever leave was to come to the holding room for any files that you may need.
Once again, your badge was needed to access the basement from the elevator and when the doors dinged open, they revealed a small round lobby that broke off into two hallways at eleven and one o’clock respectively.
“Your main lab is down this way,” Dr. Kwon said, leading you down the hall to the right.
You couldn’t hold in your curiosity. “What’s down the other hall?”
“Oh, that’s where we house the subjects,” he clarified. “For safety precautions.” Safety precautions. You seemed to be hearing that a lot. It shouldn’t be that strange since this was a laboratory, but the way Dr. Kwon was saying those words was sending strange signals off in your head. Maybe you were still just waiting for him to say “just kidding!” and make you go back to filing for another six months.
That strange, ominous feeling just could be shaken from you as the hall, lined with heavy metal doors on either side, seemed more like a jail than a housing center, but you forced the thoughts away. You still didn’t know exactly how things operated down here and for all you knew on the other side of those doors could be five star hotel rooms.
Dr. Kwon stopped at the second door on the right. “This is our blood work lab and your new home.”
The lab was like any other you had worked in during med school. Everything was either white or chrome. Refrigerators with glass doors so you could see inside lined one side of the room, storing dozens of vials and dishes waiting for testing. Other display cases showcased glass slides, each shelf labeled with a corresponding number with the cabinets upstairs. At the long table in the middle of the room sat a woman around your age in purple scrubs looking into a microscope while an older woman in her mid-forties stood over her, writing on a clipboard.
The older woman noticed you first and bowed a greeting.
“Hello, there. You must be (y/n).” she stepped forward as the younger one looked up. “I’m Dr. Wang.” Your new boss appeared to be a kind woman, her smile wide and genuine. Her hair was pulled back into a precise and sharp bun without a hair out of place. “This is my assistant, Dr. Kher. I’ve been waiting for you to arrive here since you accepted our offer. I’m looking forward to what you can bring to our research team.” She held out her hand and you took it enthusiastically.
“Thank you,” you beamed. It was the greatest compliment you had ever received.
Dr. Kher stood up and walked up to join the group. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m happy I won’t be by myself anymore.” She was beautiful, with caramel skin and dark hair to compliment it. Her friendly grin just seemed to pull the whole package together. You hoped that her personality was just as pretty. So far, it seemed so.
“Well, I will leave her to you then,” Dr. Kwon bowed and left us alone.
Dr. Wang shook her head as she watched him leave. “I can’t believe he made me wait six months to get you down here. I wanted you from day one, especially after getting a hold of your thesis. Your analysis on blood work is right in line with what we’re doing down here. But no, you still had to go through the trial period.”
“I’m surprised they waited six months,” Dr. Kher chimed in. “I was only up there for three before they pulled me down here.”
“Oh, well,” Dr. Wang sighed. “We’ll just have to make up for lost time. Dr. (L/n), I’ve already taken the liberty in pulling the files for subjects’ Zero-One, Sixty-One, and Ten for you. I’ve pulled all their vials and set up your station; it’s just across from Dr. Kher. I’ll be in and out today, we’re running some further tests on subject Zero-Four. For now, I just want you to become familiar with those three subjects and get to know their blood like the back of your hand. Later on, I’ll introduce you to more subjects and what we’re aiming for. At the end of the day, just make sure everything is put back into its proper place, including taking the files back up to the filing room. If you have any questions, Dr. Kher should be familiar with everything by now.” She checked her watch at the end of her speech. “Oh, I’ve got to go. But I’m so glad to have you here.”
Practically running out of the room, Dr. Wang disappeared from view, her white lab coat flapping behind her.
“That’s about the same introduction I got when I transferred here,” Dr. Kher mused. She turned to you with that smile still on her face. “I read your thesis, too, although it seemed a bit comic book to me.”
You blushed with embarrassment. “Well, to be honest, that’s where the inspiration came from. However, all the research is legitimate, Dr. Kher.”
She threw her hands up. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to offend. Just an observation. I know your research was accurate. Oh, and you can call me Nada when it’s just the two of us.”
“No, it’s okay,” you reassured. “I’m just protective over my work. And you can call me (y/n).”
“Well, (y/n), I think we’re going to get along just fine.”
“May I help you?” the nurse behind the desk asked as she saw somebody walk up.
 “I’m here to see Anaise Merriball,” Jongdae answered as he flashed his police badge.
 The nurse checked the file for a moment and replied, “Room 223 and I don’t think she’s awake yet.”
 “Thank you,” Jongdae bowed his head as he headed down the hall in search of the hospital room. He checked each room number until he found the magic number. He slowly walked into the room without making too much noise. He kept his calm expression as he took in Anaise’s appearance.
 Her body was covered with bruising and bloodied bandages. Her usual makeup-clad face was bare and covered with more bruising, and her skin appeared paler than normal.
 Jongdae released a sigh as he pulled out his phone and sent a text to Junmyeon letting him know he was with Anaise at the hospital. He also sent a text to Baekhyun letting him know as well. He released a sigh as he sat down at the small couch by the window. He fiddled with his phone for a few moments until a nurse walked in to take Anaise’s vitals.
 “Hello there,” the nurse smiled as she placed the cuff on Anaise’s arm to take her blood pressure.
 “Hello,” Jongdae politely greeted. “How is she doing?”
 “She’s stable for the most part, just hasn’t regained consciousness,” the nurse answered. “But we do have an option for faster recovery, but we need her consent first.”
 “Since she doesn’t have any family here, it would be a little tough to have someone else consent for her,” Jongdae sheepishly chuckled.
 “Hopefully she’ll be waking up before too long,” the nurse smiled as she wrote down all of the numbers she needed. She grabbed the equipment and started to leave as she told Jongdae, “Let me or another nurse know when she wakes up.”
 “Will do,” Jongdae replied as he watched the nurse leave the room.
 He scanned the room while waiting for something to happen and came across a couple of bags on the table next to the couch. Curiosity overcame him and he looked inside the bag and found Anaise’s bloodied uniform in one and her weapons in the other. He looked at the uniform and felt a cold feeling overcome him. Before he had much of a chance to think about it, Anaise started to wake up.
 Jongdae waited a few moments before casually said, “Morning, sleeping beauty.”
 Anaise glared at Jongdae and replied, “I get nearly killed and THIS is the first thing I hear? I’d rather be dead.”
 “Harsh,” Jongdae feigned shock but failed to hide his smirk. “How are you feeling?”
 “I hurt, to be blunt,” Anaise simply replied as Jongdae hit the call button next to the bed.
 “Well, a nurse should be here in a moment to help you not hurt,” Jongdae chuckled to himself. Anaise took a deep breath and winced in pain. Jongdae took notice and added, “Hurting that bad?”
 “Would you believe me if I told you this isn’t the worst thing to happen to me?” Anaise replied, smirking slightly.
 “I’d believe it,” Jongdae chuckled.
 The nurse walked in and smiled seeing Anaise awake. “Good morning, Anaise. I can imagine how much pain you’re in,” she greeted as she looked at the papers in her hands. “Well, now that you’re awake, I can talk to you about getting you healed up completely.”
 “That would be wonderful,” Anaise replied politely and Jongdae was visibly taken aback.
 The nurse chuckled at Jongdae’s expression and continued talking to Anaise. “The procedure we’ll be doing involves a lot of fairy magic and could potentially cause unwanted side effects in humans. This is why we need a consent for the procedure because we don’t want the patient to wake up with crazy side effects,” she explained.
 “I’ve had a procedure like this done a couple of times before, so I kind of know what I’ll be getting into,” Anaise said as the nurse handed her the form to sign.
 “Sounds good. I’ll tell the doctor and we can start getting set up. Should take about an hour or so to get started,” the nurse smiled and walked out of the room with the form Anaise signed.
 Anaise took a deep breath, while trying to keep the pain minimal, and looked over at Jongdae. “Is there any reason you are the one keeping me company?” she asked out of curiosity.
 “Irene is helping out with forensics, Junmyeon is doing extensive research, Chanyeol is looking for the two stooges you ran into yesterday, and Baekhyun is questioning everyone that was around the park that night. So I’m the only one left to look after you,” Jongdae answered.
 “So what you’re saying you got stuck with me,” Anaise bluntly replied, causing Jongdae to become a little flustered.
 “I-I’m not trying to sound l-like a bad guy or anything,” Jongdae stumbled on his words a little bit.
 Anaise couldn’t help but chuckle. “I’m only teasing you, calm down,” she said through her chuckles. “It’s perfectly fine you’re here, I don’t mind it, but I need a favor,” she added after her chuckles died down.
 “What is it?” Jongdae asked attentively.
 “Can you hand me my phone, please?” Anaise asked gently.
 “Sure thing,” Jongdae smiled as he found her phone and handed it to her.
 Anaise started typing out a text and Jongdae became curious. “I would ask you for the real favor, but I don’t need a detective snooping through my things,” she stated before Jongdae could even ask anything.
 “What exactly did you need?” Jongdae asked.
 “After this procedure is done, I’m going to get to go home. Problem is… I don’t have any clean clothes to wear since my uniform is probably torn and bloodied,” Anaise reasoned as she sent her text.
 “And why wouldn’t you ask me?” Jongdae challenged.
 “Knowing you… you’d probably just rummage through my underwear for a solid half hour,” Anaise bluntly replied.
 Jongdae tried to come up with a clever response, but his thoughts got cut off by Anaise’s phone vibrating. He peeked over to see who she asked the favor of and was mildly surprised.
Tumblr media
    Kami looked at the motel key and looked back up at the corresponding door. Once she agreed with herself this was the right door, she used the key to unlock the door and walk inside. “I’m going to find the clothes, and head back to the hospital,” she mumbled to herself as she looked up to find… Baekhyun? “Umm… what are you doing here?”
 Baekhyun turned around at the familiar voice and chuckled nervously. “Nothing in particular, just thought I’d look for something of Anaise’s,” he replied.
 “Are you snooping through her things?” Kami asked as she opened the drawers and grabbing a few clothing items.
 “You caught me,” Baekhyun admitted. “I just wanted to find out what makes her tic.”
 “It still doesn’t make it right,” Kami said as she found a blue and white stripped t-shirt and a black pair of short shorts. “And you’re a cop for crying out loud.”
 “I know, I feel bad about it, but I also want to try and figure her out. I am working with her for quite some time and I don’t want to butt heads too badly,” Baekhyun replied as he studied what Kami was doing. “And why are you here?”
 “I’m here because Anaise actually asked me to come here, unlike somebody who just snoops around on his own free will,” Kami replied as she grabbed a pair of underwear and a bra and stuffed them into a bag along with the t-shirt and shorts.
 “I also needed some time to kill before going back to the station,” Baekhyun added in an attempt to make himself appear more innocent.
 “I believe that, but you don’t need to be snooping in other people’s belongings,” Kami scolded as she left the motel room with Baekhyun following her.
 “At least let me give you a ride back to the hospital,” Baekhyun offered as he walked toward his car. “I still need to go back to the station and report everything from the park, but I can save you the trouble of walking all that way.”
 Kami pondered the offer and replied, “Sounds good, thank you.”
 She sat down in the passenger seat and set the bag by her feet. Baekhyun drove away as soon as their seatbelts were on. As he drove carefully towards the hospital, he asked Kami, “Since Anaise told me about your run in with the two guys yesterday, are you doing okay?”
 “I’m doing alright, I just don’t like it when people get nasty for no reason… it’s not fair,” Kami answered.
 Baekhyun sensed Kami was not telling him the full story, but he let it be since they arrived at to the hospital. “If there’s anything I can do to help, just let me know,” he calmly said as he looked at Kami.
 Kami stared into his eyes as if to look for something. After a few moments, she replied, “I will. Thank you.”
 Baekhyun smiled at her words. He waited for Kami to exit his car, but he was surprised when Kami leaned in and kissed his cheek. She pulled back and smiled and left the car.
 Kami giggled to herself as she walked in the hospital and to the room Anaise texted her. She walked in the room labeled 223 and was greeted by Anaise and Jongdae.
 “I brought what you needed,” Kami greeted as she carefully handed her the bag of clothing.
 “Thank you very much,” Anaise replied as she looked in the bag. “They still need to do one final check-up before I can be discharged.”
 “I’m just glad you’re okay,” Kami smiled as she sat next to Jongdae on the couch. She sniffed for a brief moment and looked at Jongdae. “Are you aware that you reek of kitty litter?”
 “I’ve been told that several times in my lifetime,” Jongdae replied. “But I used the litter box this morning… how could you smell that?”
 Kami shrugged and replied, “I’ve always had a great sense of smell.”
 “You can take your sense of smell and shove it right up your—”
 “Careful what you say, or I will shove you up to where you’re thinking!”
 Anaise observed the bickering between Jongdae and Kami and took a few mental notes. They get along just as well as a cat and a dog…
Tumblr media
    Baekhyun arrived back at the station, walked right up to Junmyeon’s desk, and slammed his notepad on the desk. Junmyeon looked up from his computer and flinched at the noise.
 “I’ve got something interesting,” Baekhyun smirked as he let Junmyeon look over his notes.
 After reading the first few lines of the notepad, he said, “You traced the timeline of the attack?! I’m impressed.”
 “It took a lot of hard work, but luckily everyone had a similar story so it was easy to piece together an accurate timeline,” Baekhyun replied as he sat down in the chair opposite of Junmyeon. “From everything I’ve gathered, Wonbin only attacks while in his werewolf form, so nobody ever really pieces together who he is in his human form.”
 “But from what we’ve gathered before, we know he runs a small store but he’s never there… so he’s gotta be hiding somewhere under the radar,” Junmyeon replied.
 “Has Chanyeol had any luck finding those two guys?” Baekhyun asked.
 “Not at all, but if we can find those two guys, we might be able to track down where Wonbin is hiding,” Junmyeon answered, “or at least find out where he will strike next.”
 “Or maybe help us find Silver Eyes first,” Baekhyun pondered.
 “What are you thinking?” Junmyeon asked suspiciously.
 “I’m thinking if we can figure out where Silver Eyes is, we can lure Wonbin out and capture him for good,” Baekhyun answered honestly.
 “We’ll see what happens first then we go from there,” Junmyeon replied, “whether we find Wonbin or Silver Eyes, I think we’ve got a solid plan.”
 “So the first step would be to track down those two guys?” Baekhyun asked.
 Junmyeon nodded and replied, “If we can question those two guys, we’ll use whatever information we can to move forward with the case.”
 “Who’s gonna look for them?” Baekhyun asked as he stood up to leave Junmyeon’s office.
 “When Anaise gets back and is one hundred percent, I’ll send you two out to look for them since she knows what they look like already,” Junmyeon replied.
 “Yes sir,” Baekhyun said as he left the office to go back to his own work. He sat down at his desk and looked over his notes. “First we need to prioritize the safety of the citizens, but we also need to find Wonbin as quick as possible, but we know his target is Silver Eyes… we might need to prioritize searching for Silver Eyes in this case.”
A/N: I’ve realized we don’t see Kami enough... that will change soon. So if any of you are interested in Kami’s character or just want to see her again, we will focus on her a little more in the next chapter!
Chapter 1
 The students of the class were all glaring at you and you don’t even know why. All that you know was that the school administrator summoned you through the school intercom during your math class. You knew you weren’t in trouble. You don’t do trouble. But why was your name being blasted on all the available speakers all throughout the campus? You calmed yourself and quietly walked away from class and began repeating that you didn't do anything wrong to yourself. Well at least you know you’re not in trouble with the school management but with your schoolmates? You don’t think so. Now they know who you are. Heck, everyone knew who you are right now. You’re good at being that classmate who will not be remembered and will always be forgotten. You don’t know why but maybe it’s your way of surviving this school. With that intercom thing that happened, you knew you weren’t safe here.
This school only has 3 groups; the known, the bullied and the unknown. Of course, it’s better to be the unknown instead of being the bullied. One thing good about being the unknown is the feeling of being alone. The feeling of attachment is absent and you’re good with that. You were even unattached to your family that’s why you chose this school even though you know about its reputation. You know the consequences of choosing this school and you knew that you might end up being bullied but you’re so good with blending in with the people they don’t even remember you even if you have the same classes with them for almost 3 months now.
You entered the admin’s office and he was beaming at you in the most unnatural and annoying way. He quickly gestured for you to sit and he clasped his hands in front of his smiling mouth.
"You were chosen by a different school for a special scholarship that they had been giving every 50 years," his tone was so high that you thought you were talking to a 5-year-old girl, "It’s a one-time opportunity and it comes with the whole package, lodging, books, allowance and etc. Many people had been fighting for this opportunity and they chose you."
You looked at him and you can see the twinkle in his eyes. You don’t know why but you were bothered just by looking at it. He doesn’t seem excited. It looked like he was pretending to be excited yet he looked like he was afraid of something.
You weigh your options despite his look. Staying here and get bullied right after you decline the scholarship offer and continue with visiting your family which you don’t feel like because you never had feelings for them or just accept the scholarship and move on and just accept what might happen with you moving. The second option was much better so you said your thoughts.
"When can I move?" you asked the school admin and he quickly released a breath of relief.
"You can now go there," he said and he really smiled this time, "the school won’t be able to accompany you today given that it’s already 3 o’clock but if you wish to travel tomorrow then I will take care of the arrangements."
You shook your head and told him you’ll go there right now. There’s no reason to stay anyway. He gave you your record and he called someone to help you pack your things even if you don’t need one. You really didn’t want to bother the person he called because there’s nothing to pack. You have one luggage and a big backpack and that’s it. Your whole clothing is always inside the luggage in case someone decided to pick on you, you could easily runaway from this school. Another reason is being the Girl Scout you are, you tend to be always ready with what might possibly happen.
When you get inside your room, you packed your toiletries and your bath towel. You put on a thick jacket with a hoodie, tied your hair and you’re ready to go. You send away the person the school admin asked to help you because you don’t need him. Not in the rude way, no. You just don't need any help with packing.
You walked with your head up high because finally, you'll be leaving this place. You may have chosen this school to be able to get away from your pretentious parents but this school does not give you certainty. Every day you felt like walking over a thin and scratched glass and below were your schoolmates who will eat you raw and alive.
You were once good with people but after having weird dreams, you isolated yourself more than what you wanted to, that when you graduated high school at 18, you barely had any friends. When your parents let you chose a school, you choose a school so far away from them because you've also grown unattached to them.
Before going out of the school's last exit door, you looked back and you met all the angry glare thrown at you again. They've been glaring at you for quite some time now and you actually considered if their eyes don’t hurt. You giggled and quickly stopped it.
It’s the last time you were going in here so you made it memorable. You flipped your middle finger while sticking out your tongue at them.
Their faces were so funny and it might be the best memory of this school that will be forever be stuck with you.
You put on the white hoodie and began pulling your luggage to the outside world that you once thought you will never see.
You walked until you saw a waiting shed. You saw some people in there and luckily, there's an available seat so you grabbed it and waited for the bus.
You searched for the school's location but you couldn't find it on google. When the bus arrived, you told the driver to drop you at your location but he said this bus will not go to that school. You will have to walk at least 2 kilometers to be able to get to the school.
The travelling time is 5 hours, that means your computed ETA is 9 o'clock pm. You'll probably arrive at the school around 10:30 so you probably need to buy food and drinks when the bus stops for a break.
You bought 2 rice meals, bread, some chips, candies and 1 liter of water. You ate the food inside the bus while listening to music. No one really paid attention to you except for the little boy who kept on smiling at you.
"Hello!" he said before sitting beside you, "What are you eating?"
You smiled at him before answering his question. He just nodded at you and he kept on asking questions until his mom went inside the bus.
She apologized for her son but you quickly told her it's okay. She let you have him to talk to until they reached their destination.
He then reached up and gave you a weird necklace. The necklace was quite old but it's the first time someone gave you something so you used it. The pendant looked like a sculpted stone with a sharp looking edge but it's not really sharp. You tied the necklace around your arm and made it a bracelet instead because you’re not a necklace girl.
The only weird thing about travelling was you're the only one left inside the bus when 8 pm struck. You arrived at the last bus stop at around 9:30 pm and you started walking after asking for directions.
You took a break after walking for an hour. You sat on your luggage and drank water and began eating your food when you heard something weird. You didn't mind it though. You just started plugging your earphones again while eating. When you finished taking a break, you walked again for another 1 hour and you finally arrived at the school at around 12 am. You wanted to punch someone because damn it you were so tired.
You almost pushed the doorbell when the gate opened by itself. You walked inside and the whole school lit up. You stopped walking in the middle of it and sat on your luggage instead.
A pair of black leather shoes was walking towards you. Before he spoke, you looked at him, "I'm not in the mood for the welcoming committee right now so please. I just want to sleep because my feet and my legs are both killing me. Don't mention I walked for more than 2 hours alone. And yes, I know it was a test. You wanted to see if I was strong enough to walk alone, on a dark road in the middle of nowhere with some weird sounds that's still creeping the hell out of me."
The boy looked at you smiling, "You're exactly who we were looking for." he said and he smiled, "you can leave your luggage in there and I'll have them arranged on your room. Everything will be on its place the moment you open your eyes tomorrow. Come follow me."
You stared at the ground, it really looked pretty. "Can't I just ride your back?" You asked because you really can't take more walking, "please?"
"If I can do that, I already did but I can't." he said and then he patted your hair, "I don't want to end up hurt just because I touched you."
"Okay, so I'll just stay here. Good night, Ken." you said before covering your mouth. From the looks of the boy, you're right. Ken is his name. How did you know his name was Ken? "HOW DID I KNOW YOU’RE KEN?"
"Well, I don’t have any idea." He said not bothering to correct you about his name, "Stay there, just stay put. I’ll talk to someone whose allowed to touch you."
You lay on the ground as you put your head on the luggage. Your mind is already drifting when you heard the creepy sound again. You hurriedly sat and count to 6 before standing up and pulling your luggage to the door attached to the hallway of school entrance. When you saw Ken, he was with another person. You didn’t have any idea why your heart was beating so loudly when you see him. It wasn’t Ken that made your heart race, it was the other boy he has on his side. Ignoring the loud beating of your heart, you called Ken’s attention and he walked toward you.
