"...We're two sides of the same coin, aren't we?"
The whispered confession falls clumsily out of Pure Vanilla's mouth, almost dragged out, bitterly sweet and strange on his tongue. The words are addressed to his own stained candy glass visage, spilling tendrils of bright blue light across the Solarium of Unity despite the almost suffocating darkness invading the rest of the space.
He knows this isn't really the Solarium of Unity, and he knows he isn't just speaking to a window. The lurking shadows, thick like molasses and blinking every once in a while, give that away. Even if it didn't, there is a haziness here that exists only in dreams, and a lack of the deep tiredness that has been plaguing him as of late.
"Oh, are you finally ready to admit that?" Sure enough, Shadow Milk Cookie's voice comes from all sides, far too cheerful. The candy glass melts and warps before him, the blues darkening until Shadow Milk stands in his place, far more detailed than the artisan silhouette he replaced. His grin is mocking as he looks down at Pure Vanilla, who cannot help but feel uncomfortable at the sight of their appearances blurring together like that, even though he had been expecting something along those lines. "Too bad though – you can't admit something that's wrong!"
"Huh?" It catches Pure Vanilla by surprise. It had been difficult emotionally, but logically straightforward to admit they were two sides of the same coin. He couldn't imagine how that could be wrong, and acting upon an old habit from his student days, he finds himself frantically unravelling that conclusion in his head again to figure out the issue.
Shadow Milk doesn't give him the chance, tutting as he shakes his head in mock disappointment. "You must have a brain in there, can't you use it?" He laments theatrically, contorting himself into an odd shape against the edge of the window pane. Then, again barreling on before Pure Vanilla can reply, "Look, think of it like this. To say we're two sides of the same coin means that we have similarities, even if we are otherwise opposites. That is true to an extent, but it makes our differences sound way more clear cut than they actually are. It may be easier for you to believe, but we aren't really opposites. That would imply I am not whole, and I can assure you, Soul Jam aside, I am just as I always was!"
Ah, so it's a matter of wording. Pure Vanilla isn't sure why he is entertaining this - no, it's because he doesn't want to give Shadow Milk the satisfaction of turning away from the truth. Even now, Shadow Milk's eyes squint cheekily at him, daring him to try and end the conversation.
"Then... we are made of the same components in a different composition." Pure Vanilla tries, a little frustrated with his own hesitance, but it is difficult to tell how Shadow Milk wants him to answer when he isn't making it blatantly obvious.
"So close!" Shadow Milk sighs dramatically as he snaps his head to the side so sharply it makes Pure Vanilla wince, imagining the cracks that would cause on any other Cookie. "But you're relying on technicalities. It's much simpler than that."
It dawns on Pure Vanilla, then, exactly what Shadow Milk is aiming for, the realisation making his insides crawl. He doesn't have to say it, not really, but he isn't sure what Shadow Milk will do if he doesn't, and he unfortunately doesn't have the ability to wake himself up on command.
So he takes a deep breath, fidgeting with his staff as he says, even less than a whisper yet twice as loud. "We're... We're the same. Is that what you wanted me to say?"
"Ding-ding-ding!" Shadow Milk trills, suddenly reaching through the candy glass to grip the window frame and lurching forward across the threshold, leaving a mess of shattered glass behind his head like a halo. It startles Pure Vanilla, who instinctively shifts his foot back, only to be instantly locked in place as the reaching shadows soldify around his legs, its eyes winking up at him playfully. His grip on his staff tightens, willing it to shed its light, the beginnings of panic stirring within him at the restraint. The staff does, but the shadows seem to eat the light without a problem.
Pure Vanilla is so distracted by the shadows that he doesn't notice Shadow Milk's hands until they grab his face. His heart jumps in alarm, and his eyes dart up to find half of Shadow Milk leaning down out of the window, far too close. He is grinning at him, wide and self-satisfied, and his hands are cold and harsh. "See, I knew you had a working brain! Yes, the right answer is that we are one and the same."
He pinches and pulls at his cheeks, and Pure Vanilla tries to cringe away, tries to manuver his staff between them. It doesn't work, if only because hands emerge from the darkness to anchor his staff too.
"But that isn't true." Pure Vanilla mumbles when he isn't able to wiggle his way out and Shadow Milk still shows no signs of stopping, hoping the argument will make him lose interest in his face. "I admit that there are similarities between us, but we aren't really the same."
Shadow Milk pauses, his grip tightening until it borders on pain, and for a moment, Pure Vanilla thinks he may have miscalculated.
But then Shadow Milk snickers to himself, releasing his face entirely and pulling back, his hands resting lightly over Pure Vanilla's shoulders. The brush of weight keeps Pure Vanilla from relaxing, but it is a bit of added distance, at least.
"Aren't we? Well, you are the biggest liar, so I should have expected you would lie to yourself too." Shadow Milk hums, almost sounding delighted at this turn in conversation. It unnerves Pure Vanilla, because he had assumed his disagreement would annoy him.
Instead, Shadow Milk smirks, his many eyes glinting gleefully at him. "Listen carefully, Vani, because here's the truth." He says, his voice dipping into a wicked purr that seems to shudder through Pure Vanilla's whole body. "All the things you hate that I have done, you have the capability of doing too. After all, you've already used people for your own gain, haven't you?" Shadow Milk leans closer with a condescending lilt to his words, shifting his hands so he can wrap his arms loosely over his shoulders, and Pure Vanilla freezes under the touch. "Oh, I know you think it was necessary, but you still sent those naive, tiny Cookies off to carry out your errands for you, regardless of the dangers. That's only a few steps behind what I've done, you know, making people dance to my tune. The only difference between us is severity and time."
The words sink heavily to Pure Vanilla's stomach, not quite true but not quite not true, and he feels a little lightheaded, fingers twitching against his staff. Maybe it's because of that, or maybe it's because of his discomfort from the close proximity, but he finds himself distracted by the way Shadow Milk is talking. He carries his usual air of showmanship, but it is nowhere near as exaggerated as during his brief takeover of the Faerie Kingdom. With his insistence of specificity, his mention of technicalities, his structured method of explaining things, he almost sounds like a–
"We are the same," Shadow Milk repeats, tilting his head to the side, the glow of his eyes burning holes through Pure Vanilla, "and one day, you'll end up just like me."
A scholar.
That makes sense – at some point, his virtue had been Knowledge, and nobody seeks it out as fervently as a scholar – but it still feels like a surprise. Pure Vanilla had always known that Shadow Milk was different, once, but only in the sense that the fact existed in the back of his mind.
"No rebuttal, hmm? Are you ready to accept that?" Shadow Milk asks smugly, slightly impatient with Pure Vanilla's lack of response, but mostly watching him expectantly, as if waiting for a bomb to go off.
Pure Vanilla has never thought about what Shadow Milk might have been like, before he became like this. There was no reason to even consider it. But now, he can't help but wonder, because while he cannot imagine this chaotic, brutal Beast, this great unknown evil, as anything else – Shadow Milk still carries echoes from a past life that he doesn't seem to notice enough to hide with his lies.
"...If we are the same," Pure Vanilla finally scrapes his thoughts together enough to reply, carefully, "then doesn't that make the opposite possible too? That, one day, you will become like me and return to the light?"
Shadow Milk blinks once, his face falling blank. He blinks again, all of his eyes in quick succession.
And then he throws his head back and laughs, the movement jostling Pure Vanilla in the process with his arms still firmly around his shoulders. It sounds unhinged, ricocheting across the room, but it is openly amused. It makes Pure Vanilla antsy, especially with how it rings in his ears like an explosion from their closeness.
He wonders if Shadow Milk's laugh was different, before everything. It must have been. He wonders what it sounded like, and immediately realises that he's being ridiculous. The realisation that a before exists seems to have opened the floodgates in his mind, and now thoughts of hypotheticals can't help flitting in.
"You say such silly, silly things." Shadow Milk bites out offhandedly as his laughter winds down, the lingering remnants still dancing on his tongue. Without warning, he pulls Pure Vanilla even closer, the darkness that had been keeping him in place swirling and shoving him forward. Pure Vanilla gasps, the sound catching in his throat, and one of his hands fly off his staff to reach for something to steady himself on. It finds an edge of shattered candy glass, flinching back and falling down to scrabble against its smooth, intact surface.
Shadow Milk is giggling at him and Pure Vanilla is mortified, horribly so. They are far, far too close, Shadow Milk's face taking up the near entirety of his vision and their upper bodies almost pressed together. It feels claustrophobic, which should be impossible in such a wide, open space.
Shadow Milk makes matters worse by pressing their foreheads together, the gesture weirdly tender and doing nothing to make Pure Vanilla any calmer. His bright blue eyes look directly through him, dissecting him piece by piece.
"Why don't you cut down the Silver Tree and find out?" Shadow Milk coos, his voice overlapping with the Light of Truth's in a deeply unsettling way. His presence is overwhelming.
Pure Vanilla's eyes flicker downwards to escape his piercing gaze, and finds their chests so close that their Soul Jams are overlapping. Overlapping, and not touching, because Shadow Milk's Soul Jam seems to fizzle out of existence where the other makes contact with it, as if it were an illusion. Behind it is an empty space, black as the abyss. With the way they are lined up now, it is obvious that Pure Vanilla's Soul Jam would fit perfectly into the crevice with a little turning. He knew that already, but it still feels strange to see it.
Pure Vanilla sighs, a long, thin, shuddering sound. "...You didn't truly believe that would work, did you?"
In the edge of his vision, Shadow Milk smiles tauntingly, all teeth, but he doesn't say a word.
And Pure Vanilla wakes up, off kilter, exhausted and oddly cold.

" A Shade of Blue in Spring's View "
Tumblr media
Summary: The memories of spring long lost forgotten starts to resurface, as you face the last person you least expected.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The drastic way of how fate plays its game full of twists and dreams that shattered along the way.
The endless nights filled with sleepless nights, wondering where I went wrong and the what ifs as the scenario plays again in my head, like a cascade on repeat.
Choosing a path as I gamble away what is right and what is wrong, follow the rules or break the rules, be selfish or self-righteous, be the hero or be the villain.
No one really knows, but maybe in this lifetime... I'll play the role as the antagonist.
And yet, that antagonist finally meets it doom.
Crimson red flowing like the river Nile, where death upon in me is near.
Before I meet the man of death, my life flashed before my eyes. Out of all memories, it had to be Spring. The spring that changed the course of my life. The memories of spring where I was at the peak of my youth.
The spring where I experienced being a young man enjoying life to the fullest. The spring that tainted my thoughts and changed my ideals of the world. The spring where I bloomed and discovered my reason and purpose. Lastly, the spring where I found love and crushed "him" like a withered daffodil. As cliche as it is, similar to a boring romcom where the main characters run into each other's arms, embracing themselves in joy and love. I, too, was faced by the man whom I swore to death.
"You're late, Satoru." Said I, in a tone lingering like honey as I have always been when interacting with the man. Even near death doors, I will forever be gentle with my words whenever I am near him. As I lean on the wall while facing the man for the last time. Those eyes as I can recall were full of love once, and now it's filled with nothingness, no, my eyes must be fooling me. Those blue eyes that many detest, but I found solace in it says otherwise: regret.
"Suguru." The albino haired man called my name in a tone that is thicker than ice. Satoru Gojo is his name, a special grade sorcerer for having the "Six-eyes," many envy him for inheriting such technique as well as being the strongest sorcerer. But for him, he finds it a curse.
People say Satoru is special for it, but... does a technique really matter to be special? Well, maybe in the world we are in. However, Satoru Gojo is special indeed, special to the point seeing him in so much pain that only I can see.
Finally, he dropped the question that I merely chuckle.
"Any last words?" Satoru Gojo asked me, before we part ways.
"No matter what anyone says, I hate those monkeys. But I never held any hatred for those in Jujutsu High." I tell him honestly, "I just couldn't wear a heartfelt smile in this world."
It is the truth, after seeing my peers die for the sake of others as they slowly line up in death's doors, I could not bare that thought.
"Suguru." Surprised by how soft his voice was in this situation, brings me back to the spring nights laying on the same bed, staring at the ceiling whispering sweet nothings.
I stare at him wide eyes at his confession, A weak smile appeared on my lips and with my last breath, "At least hit me with some curses at my end."
We finally bid farewell to one another.
At some moments, maybe I cursed myself for having regrets choosing this path for myself.
I admit, I was envy of him once.
But I set it aside and played my own cards to win instead.
Nevertheless, maybe this path of ours is different and fate is too cruel for us to be together.
Just maybe, just maybe... The situation is different and a sign that we are not meant to be together.
After all, love is the cruelest curse of them all.

Voice mail - Bangchan
Tumblr media
Summary: your boyfriend, Bangchan, is on tour and for the first time, you two have been separated for months. You fell asleep waiting for his call so instead, he sends you a voice mail to listen to in the morning
TW: lots of fluff!
“Hi Y/N, my beautiful love…
I’m so sorry that it took longer for me to wrap up my schedule for today, you must have waited a long time for me. But your sleep is important and I hope that you’re having sweet dreams. If you’re upset with me, I’ll make it up to you thousands times, I promise!
My heart is truly aching that I can’t be with you when you’re struggling at work. That I can’t be there for you, someone to lean on when you come home. All I currently can do is assure you that you’re doing amazing and that I’m proud of you. Your hard work will pay off. And I’m not only saying this as your boyfriend, but from experience too ahaha…
As you expected it, I’m having some trouble sleeping lately. Something about your presence, having you close to me as I sleep the smell of your hair, the warmth of your body when I wake up next to you… I need it. And I miss it. I can’t wait to reunite with you as soon as I step back home.
I long to admire that beautiful face of yours, to kiss those lips that whisper my name, to hold you close to me instead of seeing each other on screen. Which gets even harder with my connection problems, the hotel wifi is worse than our dormitory wifi..
But being honest, any contact with you is better than not being able to talk to you at all. Eventho i wish to be together with you physically, this is at least something. Which is better than nothing.
I keep reaching out to you in my sleep, when I’m half awake, thinking you’re next to me. But of course, you’re not in my bed but back home. Because I’m away. So I just reach out to the cold darkness. And my heart sinks at realization. God, I just wish I could be next to you right now, holding you in my arms as I watch you sleep peacefully. Assuring you that you’re going to make it through this rough time. I long to touch you, to kiss you. I can’t spend another split second away from you.
Did I ever tell you how much I admire you? You’re the strongest, most amazing person I’ve ever met. Your work ethic, your kindness and the way you always try to see the best in people no matter how bad someone appears to be, is truly admirable and only some of the things I love so infinitely about you. The way your eyes lit up when you listen to a new song I produced, it makes my heart beat fast every time and I fall even more in love with you each time.
I even miss our tickle fights and how we end up cuddling afterwards, I miss it all. I miss you. I miss you a lot…
I’m so proud of you, baby. Because despite the struggles, you’re working hard and are determinate to push past the obstacles. Never underestimate your worth, love. You’re amazing and made to achieve big things. Especially, your own dreams. You’ve worked so hard, it won’t be in vain. I’m sure of that.
Can I tell you a little secret? I’m sure you know it already, haha… I’m so in love with you.
I can’t wait to be with you again. I’m not going to let you go once you’re back in my arms
I’ll let you sleep now… I mean, you’re already sleeping but I don’t know how to come up with a good ending for this voice mail… I love you, baby. Don’t ever forget that”

Finding Love Katakuri x Reader Part 3
"Eating with me? What is she thinking?!", Katakuri grumbled annoyed while taking some papers to have a look on it. The way she asked him with this sweet smile of hers let his heart flutter, but the next moment he felt cold. For him it was too good to be true that she really wanted to know him. A monster like him? There must be some kind of bad intention be the reason for this. Sighing he signed some orders, but still she was on his mind. Maybe she really wanted…
"Big brother Katakuri."
Looking up, he was met with his sister and brothers. Slowly they entered his office and took a seat in front of him.
"(Y/N) wanted to get to know you better?", Brulee started seriously and took his brother by surprise. Raising an eyebrow, he gave her an annoyed look.
"None of your business.", Katakuri spoke shortly, but knew all too well that Brulee wouldn't stop.
"You should be happy that she makes a step and wanted to spend time with you. Why don't you give it a try and eat breakfast with her tomorrow?", Brulee asked, but was stopped by a growl from Katakuri.
"And then? What will happen next? Do you really think that showing my face to her would make things easier? Forget this dream of yours about a happy lovey dovey ending and leave it be. She just needs informations to maybe get out of here. That's all. Eating with her? What nonsense. ", he spoke in a mocking tone.
" I think she has a kind heart and won't be afraid of your face… Don't speak so low of yourself..", Brulee spoke but was interrupted by her brothers.
" Well I think it's none of our business. ", Daifuku spoke calmly and gave Katakuri an order list of their mother.
Sighing Brulee fell silent. She knew that he wouldn't give it a try.
" Well I think our brother is an idiot to have such a beauty as wife and doing nothing.",Oven joked and signed some papers.
"It's an arrangement nothing more…", Katakuri whispered more to himself, but clearly for everyone to hear. Seeing the sadness in his eyes they kept their mouths shut. Never did they see their brother so emotional. Brulee could see it that he had an inner conflict of what to do. He had feelings for this woman, for his wife, but the fear of being rejected was too much of a burden to try something. It broke her heart, but she couldn't do anything about it.
"Hopefully (Y/N) will make a step to see what beautiful man her husband is. With and without scars."
Xxxx
The following days (Y/N) realized how her life on this island would be.
Alone.
Waking up alone, getting lead by servants to her breakfast, eating alone, doing nothing alone and that was all.
Since the incident at the breakfast table, Katakuri went out for work early in the morning and came back late. If they see each other he just greeted her shortly and left quickly. (Y/N) felt isolated and sick of this life. This couldn't go on like that. Without any social contact she would go insane. Going for a walk seemed great, but (Y/N) felt too scared to discover the island alone. Once she tried and got completely lost. She needed hours to come back and feared to be scolded of coming too late.
Sighing she reached the dining hall and ate her breakfast in silence again. Hearing the cooks at the back, she could tell that they were kind of busy and on high alert.
"is something wrong?"
Interested she got up and looked inside the kitchen. People were baking like crazy. Scared and frustrated they were filling baskets with giant doughnuts. Amazed she entered to look at the sweet desserts.
"Miss… Miss (Y/N)! Please don't touch them… They are for Master Katakuri. Please don't be angry. We can't make you a dessert now..", a servant pleaded next to her. Stunned she gave him a friendly clap on his shoulder and smiled.
"Don't worry. I don't want a dessert. Why should I be angry about something like that?", she asked confused and could see how relieved everyone was.
"What's the matter here?"
"Thank you Miss (Y/N). You are too kind. You see Master's Merienda is very important. We have to deliver him his doughnuts like always or we are screwed. Today don't ask me why, some cooks made a mistake with the recipes and now we are short in time to get things ready.", he explained frustrated and counted the doughnuts in the basket.
" oh so that's why. Let me help you. ", (Y/N) announced happily and motivated she took an cooking apron to get things started.
" Miss (Y/N) we can't let you work!!!", shocked they watched the beautiful girl preparing her workplace for making dough.
"Don't worry. I want to help you and I know how to bake sweets from my grandmother. He is working really hard so he deserves his break like he had ordered. Let me help him and you.", she spoke happily and got big smiles of her words.
"Miss (Y/N)… You are so sweet"
"sweeter as these desserts."
"our Master is a lucky man to have you as his wife."
In a way it pained her heart to hear that. "I don't think he is happy at all..and i am so lonely… ", she whispered saddened, but brushed it quickly off to go on, but one servant heard it. Quickly he took her hand to comfort her.
"Such a beautiful lady shouldn't be depressed. You can always talk to us, even if we seem busy or nervous. That's just because we are in a hurry..Master Katakuri has many things to do…he always comes late at night. I am sorry if you can't speak to him often. But if you ask me, lately he is acting kind of nervous. Something we never were able to see. I think he is just unsure of how to act towards you."
Nodding relieved to finally speak to somebody after days of isolation, she concentrated on her work and relaxed. It felt great to be under people again and work. Back at her home she always helped out. She didn't care if she was a princess. It's just a title and not stopping her to help people and care for someone. And for her husband she decided to be herself and do things like she believed. And if he was lonely like she thought, she would try and comfort him. In a way she felt sorry for him like she felt sorry for herself about her fate, which had led her into this life, but like her grandmother always said.
"If life gets hard, don't give up. It could always be a new opportunity, a new chance to experience something new. "
If he would push her away, fine, but not without showing that she really was making a step to become friends and get along with each other. If he still hated her, she would accept that. Even if life would be like prison.
Amazed of her creations and tips she got from the others, she happily put her doughnuts into the basket. With her quick understanding of baking these special sweets, she could help Katakuri's servants to get everything ready.
Cheering happily the servants got the baskets and headed out to deliver it to their Master's special room.
"so he really eats always alone at a special place.", she asked stunned and helped to clean the table.  "If you ask me, he didn't look like a man who loves sweets. He seems..", she added uneasy to tell them what was on her mind.
"strong? Amazing? Brave?", they asked curious.
"I would say calm, silent or maybe cold?", she asked carefully and got knowing smiles from the others.
"Don't be afraid of Master Katakuri. He is a tall and intimitating man, yes, but it's because he is one of the sweet commanders. He is strong and brave. Always working for the best of his mother and siblings. He puts his family before him. Always. And protects our home. For you this all seems very scary..because his behavior isn't easy to handle, but if you follow the rules everything is fine. ", one servant spoke kindly and looked into the smiling face of this beautiful girl. " and that you make him sweets is a sweet gesture to show your gratitude to be under his protection. As his wife nobody dares to even look at you. ", one added with a shudder.
"wow… He must be feared by many people..", she spoke nervously and the other nodded frightened. She already knew from her parents that she was living now with the Big mom pirates, but didn't know what this really meant. (Y/N) never met any pirates. And now she was married to the scariest one.
"he is known all over sea. With a high bounty"
She didn't know that this man was such a strong pirate. Yeah he looked like that and this title suited him, but that he was such a dangerous man and now her husband was beyond her imagination.
On the other side Katakuri already waited for his sweets. Kind of annoyed he watched the door, which was quickly pushed open and his servants put the baskets beside his seat.
" Took you long enough..", he grumbled and looked over the delicious doughnuts, but some of them were looking different like he used to eat.
"Master Katakuri, I am terribly sorry for being late. Hopefully these sweets will calm your nerves. Miss (Y/N) wanted to help too and made you some of these.", his butler took one of the special looking doughnuts and gave it to a surprised Katakuri. Stunned he watched the lovely decorated coating with fruits and chocolate.
" my.. My wife did that for me? ", he whispered in awe and forgot that he wasn't alone.
"hopefully you don't mind. She wanted to support you and made these. She worked really hard. Please forgive us and her if you didn't want that.", the servant stuttered and bowed.
"it's… It's okay. You can go.", the sweet commander spoke nervously and got up from his seat to give his sweets a closer look.
With a smile they left their master alone to let him taste a piece of heaven. "She didn't have to do that. She didn't have to do anything at all. Why?", he whispered and was surprised about the detailed decoration. There was also a little text which said "Have a nice day.."
Slowly he guided the doughnut to his mouth and took a bite. The cream and fruits mixed their taste and felt like a sweet explosion in his mouth. God he loved it. Every single bite he couldn't stop. Normally having his time with eating, he stuffed them down as quickly as he grabbed it. Sighing in delight Katakuri rubbed his stomach and felt his heart flutter. She was too good to be true. Could he really have such a luck? Was it really possible that she wanted to know him better? Feeling uneasy he thought about it to maybe make a step towards her, but felt helpless in thinking how he should do that. On top he acted like an asshole.
In the meantime (Y/N) was walking along the corridors with another book from the library. Reading was the only time killer she had and it helped with the loneliness. Concentrated on reading the plot of her new book, she accidently bumped into someone. Before she made contact with the floor, her savior grabbed her hand to lift her up. Embarrassed her look wandered to the serious one of Katakuri.
"You should look where you are going or you will hurt yourself.", he spoke shortly and helped her to her feet. Nodding she thanked him and made space for him to go on. Katakuri could see that she was uneasy and didn't know how to act towards him after he shouted at her. She stayed silent and waited for him to pass her. He felt bad that he was the cause of her distress.
" I… Thank you for the doughnuts.", he quickly spoke and hid his face in his scarf.
Surprised (Y/N) looked up to him and smiled from ear to ear that he spoke to her.
"Thank you that you accepted them. Hopefully they were good?", she tried to speak as normal as possible, but her excitement to finally speak to him was unbearable.
" they were Amazing…", he blurted out and felt his cheeks burn of hearing her heartwarming laugher.
"Really?! I learned baking from my grandmother and often read about recipes in some books, plus i got many tips from your servants.. If I am allowed I can make you more tomorrow.", she spoke out of happiness that he liked it.
"You would?!", he asked shocked and let her smile grew while nodding happily.
Quickly calming down Katakuri avoid her beautiful face.
"What is she doing to me…" He couldn't resist her and most of all he couldn't resist her desserts. Maybe just maybe he could try to open up a little.
"Sounds good…", he spoke shortly to keep his strong appearance and walked away quickly. (Y/N) looked after him and felt relieved. The way he spoke, nervous, shy and this little spark of happiness in his tone, let her hope that her husband really had a heart deep inside. Maybe just maybe they could be friends and support each other on their difficult fate.

A snippet of a time travel fix it fic I’m working on:
As Leo cautiously moves to the upper deck, he recalls that Nico had mentioned that he'd been having more nightmares than usual about Jason.
But his nightmares about Jason didn't normally take place on the Argo anymore. Aside from the stab wound Michael Varus had inflicted and the fucking turtle incident, his memories aboard the ship with his friend were mostly pleasant.
It was the dreams his mind conjured up at Camp Jupiter and in California that were the trouble.
He sees sunlight spilling in on the staircase leading to the deck, and the sound of voices, and Leo takes the steps one by one, the voices getting clearer.
It feels like his heart is expanding too large for his ribcage as he steps into the light, blinking until his vision adjusts and-
There's Jason.
Jason.
Leo feels his face break into a wild grin, his eyes fill with tears and he launches himself at his lost friend.
Jason is surprised, catching him but stumbling back a step before regaining his balance.
"Hey," Jason says, laughter in his voice. "What's with you?"
Leo tightens his arms around Jason's shoulders and murmurs something about a bad dream.
He hears footsteps approach them and turns his head to find a fifteen-year-old Piper looking at them with a confused smile on her face.
"Piper!" Leo exclaims, reaching an arm out to pull her into the embrace. She comes willingly, but repeats some version of Jason's earlier question. But he hasn't seen her in person in months, and will take any chance to hug her, even if this is just a dream.  He revels in having his best friends close, feeling them warm and breathing.
He doesn't know why he was granted such a sweet reprieve from his usual dreams, but he sends a silent thank you to whoever might be listening.
Jason lets out another laugh, and damn, Leo's missed the sound so much, and begins to extract himself from their arms, but Leo doesn't loosen his grip. "Come on, I have to go check the lines."
"Nope," Leo says, pressing his cheek against Jason's shoulder. "It can wait."
He feels Jason's hand run over his arm and hears him say softly, "That must have been one hell of a dream."
"You have no idea," Leo murmurs.
"Is it something we should worry about?" Piper asks.
Leo shakes his head, because this isn't the time or place to worry about anything. They may just be images his brain created, but he can't bring himself to unload his grief and pain on them when they could have this moment in the sun with each other.
Besides, he's already been to Jason's memorial and told him so many times how much he misses him. Leo blinks to clear the tears threatening to spill over.
"Okay," Jason says, not sounding convinced. "But I really should get back to work."
"It doesn't matter," Leo tells him.
"Leo Valdez, saying that the state of his ship doesn't matter?" Piper asks in mock incredulity. "The world might end, but I wasn't expecting this horseman of the apocalypse."
"Shut up," Leo says, with absolutely no heat in his voice as he bumps her shoulder then pulls her closer.
Jason pulls away eventually, letting Piper take over the hugging before she too has to get back to work and Leo relents, and watches the two of them, working together, in such vivid detail. His dreams, unless prophetic or traumatic, are never this clear, but he can think about that later. From what Piper has told him, she and Jason's friendship was strained at best when he died. Leo never thought he'd get to see them joking and laughing and easy with each other again. Maybe his mind is giving him what he wants to see most.
Which doesn't make sense. Maybe he's in some kind of dream prison, designed to make him want to stay, like the one Gaea offered Hazel once.
He gets more support for this theory when a dark shape comes through the corner of his vision, and it doesn't really matter if this is a trap, because Jesus Christ, there's the younger version of Nico, before his growth spurt when they were still the same height, with his sweetly curling hair and oversized jacket. As if sensing eyes on him, Nico's face turns to Leo, whose own breaks out into a probably stupid looking grin, because this little Nico looks so cute, which he really shouldn't because he's underweight and sleep deprived, but love is blind, isn't it?
Leo bounds down from the helm and over to him, and it's only the frozen expression of confusion and near fear on Nico's face that makes Leo skid to a stop in front of him instead of crashing into him with a hug like he wanted to.
"Sorry!" Leo exclaims breathlessly. "I forgot you didn't like to be touched."
If possible, Nico's eyes get wider, and they begin to dart around as if he's looking for an escape route. Leo feels a pang of guilt, because dream or not, the last thing Leo wants is to make him uncomfortable. He takes a big step back and raises his hands to show he means no harm. "Sorry, I just got carried away."
Nico stares at him uncomprehendingly.
Leo takes another step back in the hopes that will help. "Sorry, I just- had a really weird dream?" Leo says, thinking that might work via dream logic, because he is in a dream, and compared to this time in space, reality would seem like a really fucking weird dream. "I think I'm still recalibrating."
Nico's still frozen.
"Shit," Leo sighs, rubbing a hand over his face. "I really am sorry, I will- uh, I'll just sit here, several yards away, and look in a different direction, if that helps."
Leo does as he says, plopping onto the staircase leading to the helm and glancing out at the water.
After a moment of very pain-stakingly not darting his gaze back to see if Nico's face has regained what little color it normally has, he hears the other boy say, "Okay." very quietly and then the shadow in the corner of his eye gets darker for a moment, a sign that Nico's slipped into it.
"Not your best call, Valdez," Leo tells himself, rubbing the back of his neck.

Some thoughts about that John Foster excerpt from Chapter Three. Huge spoilers for The Blue Castle under the cut.
I've kind of mostly took the Foster excerpts sprinkled in the book as LMM flexing her prose a bit, but in the name of this slow read and taking the time to analyze, the first passage of Foster's that we read actually foreshadows Barney and his relationship with Valancy really well!
“The woods are so human,” wrote John Foster, “that to know them one must live with them. As Valancy goes to marry Barney and live with him, she comes to truly know him like Foster writes about the woods and the opposite is also true: he comes to know her when they marry and live together. An occasional saunter through them, keeping to the well-trodden paths, will never admit us to their intimacy. If we wish to be friends we must seek them out and win them by frequent, reverent visits at all hours; by morning, by noon, and by night; and at all seasons, in spring, in summer, in autumn, in winter. Otherwise we can never really know them and any pretence we may make to the contrary will never impose on them. This is exactly what happens with Valancy and Barney. They first begins to know one another once she moves in with Cecily and Abel, then they stay together through the other seasons. Others, like Barney's ex-fiance, sauntered through and he's learned to be on guard. It is Valancy taking the time and seeking him out that builds their relationship. Also, Valancy's family never bothered to truly get to know her and instead put their ideas of her into the "family tradition". They have their own effective way of keeping aliens at a distance and shutting their hearts to mere casual sightseers. Barney/Foster is clearly projecting himself onto the woods here after what he went through being Red Fern's heir; even Valancy was too afraid of letting herself be known to others because of her family. It is of no use to seek the woods from any motive except sheer love of them; they will find us out at once and hide all their sweet, old-world secrets from us. Again, Valancy seeks out Barney for her "sheer love" of him and he hides his secrets from her. But if they know we come to them because we love them they will be very kind to us and give us such treasures of beauty and delight as are not bought or sold in any market-place. For the woods, when they give at all, give unstintedly and hold nothing back from their true worshippers. Barney again being the woods here in his relationship to Valancy! The gifts and treasures he brings to her and even comes to the point where he will go to his father so he can get the best treatment he can when he thinks Valancy's life is still in danger. And her gifts to him are the complete acceptance of who he is and sacrificing her happiness to set him free when she realizes the error that was made regarding her heart. We must go to them lovingly, humbly, patiently, watchfully, and we shall learn what poignant loveliness lurks in the wild places and silent intervals, lying under starshine and sunset, what cadences of unearthly music are harped on aged pine boughs or crooned in copses of fir, what delicate savours exhale from mosses and ferns in sunny corners or on damp brooklands, what dreams and myths and legends of an older time haunt them. This part of the passage just so reminds me of how ethereal Valancy comes to be described as, and the time that it took for both of them to learn about one another in the wilds of Muskoka. Then the immortal heart of the woods will beat against ours and its subtle life will steal into our veins and make us its own forever, so that no matter where we go or how widely we wander we shall yet be drawn back to the forest to find our most enduring kinship. And this part wraps it all up! This is Valancy and Barney at the end, their hearts beating together, their brief separation and coming back together again when they realize that they're both in love with each other. And their journey out into the world, but that they will always come back to their Blue Castle.

I am seeing how they affirm that GrrM said "slavery can only end with fire and blood" is that true?
No. That's a classic from targies. They love to use this quote from GRRM's vampire novel 'Fevre Dream' to justify their fave's campaign in Slaver's Bay:
“You know I never held much with slavery, even if I never done much against it neither. I would of, but those damned abolitionists were such Bible-thumpers. Only I been thinkin’, and it seems to me maybe they was right after all.You can’t just go . . . usin’ another kind of people, like they wasn’t people at all. Know what I mean? Got to end, sooner or later. Better if it ends peaceful, but it’s got to end even if it has to be with fire and blood, you see? Maybe that’s what them abolitionists been sayin’ all along. You try to be reasonable, that’s only right, but if it don’t work, you got to be ready. Some things is just wrong. They got to be ended.”
Toby was looking at him queerly, still absent-mindedly wiping his hands across the front of his apron, back and forth, back and forth. “Cap’n,” he said softly, “you is talkin’ abolition. This here is slave country, Cap’n. You could git kilt fo’ sech talk.”
“Maybe I could, Toby, but right is right, that’s what I say.”
“You done good by ol’ Toby, Cap’n Marsh, givin’ me my freedom and all so’s I could cook fo’ you. That you did.”
—Fevre Dream
Abner Marsh, the Captain of the steamboat Fevre Dream, was a white man that: "never held much with slavery, even if he never done much against it neither." And Toby Lanyard, Marsh's cook, was basically still a slave: “You done good by ol’ Toby, Cap’n Marsh, givin’ me my freedom and all so’s I could cook fo’ you. That you did.”
Let's read more about good old Toby Lanyard:
The cook was a free colored man named Toby Lanyard, who had been with Marsh fourteen years, ever since Marsh tasted his cooking down in Natchez, bought him, and gave him his freedom.
(...) "Jest Toby, Cap'n," came the soft whispered reply.
Marsh's fear suddenly melted away and seemed silly. Toby Lanyard was the gentlest old soul ever set foot on a steamboat, and one of the meekest as well, Marsh called out, "Comin'," and lit a lamp by his bedside before going to open the door.
(...) "You knowed me a long time, Cap'n, you knows I wouldn't lie to you."
"Course I do," said Marsh.
"I wouldn't run off neither. You done give me my freedom and all, jest fer cookin' fer you.
(...) The events of the summer of 1857 became even more dreamlike as, one by one, those who had shared some of Marsh's experiences began to drift out of his life. Old Toby Lanyard had gone east a month after they had returned to St. Louis. Being returned to slavery once had been enough for him, now he wanted to get as far from the slave states as possible. Marsh got a brief letter from him early in 1858, saying that he'd gotten a job cooking in a Boston hotel. After that he never heard from Toby again.
—Fevre Dream
As you can see, Toby is always reminding us that Marsh gave him his freedom so Toby can cook for him . . . .
Toby reminds me a lot of little Missandei. Sweet souls.
And why was Abner Marsh talking that way about the end of slavery with Toby? Well, because he knew how the vampires treated human beings, no matter their skin color. He knew how the vampires treated human beings as slaves. Vampires called humans "The cattle." For Vampires, humans were prey.
That's why we read Abner Marsh, a white man that: "never held much with slavery, even if he never done much against it neither," then saying that "You can’t just go . . . usin’ another kind of people, like they wasn’t people at all."
Very telling, right?
But even Abner Marsh knew that fire and blood must be the last measure: Got to end, sooner or later.
I hope this helps.
Thanks for your message :)

Silly Nightmare, Sweet Ending (Josuke Higashikata X Reader, Giorno Giovanna X Reader)
Tumblr media
Josuke Higashikata
'This is great!' Josuke thought to himself.
He was having the best day of his life! He aced a hard test, he got the shoes he always wanted, and he managed to acquire 1,000,000 yen, without his mother noticing! His thoughts of taking you out for a nice romantic dinner were halted when he saw his house's door wide open for some reason. Suspicious, suspicious.
"Hello," Josuke asked as he slowly walked in. "Anyone home? Mom?"
"Ah, Josuke," A deep voice greeted him. "Welcome. I'd thought you'd never make it."
Josuke bristled. He knew the owner of that voice anywhere. Readying Crazy Diamond, he looked around for the culprit and slowly moved to the living room.
"Alright, Yoshikage," He growled. "Where are you?! I've pummeled you once, I can pummel you again!"
When he entered the living room, Josuke's face paled. Kira Yoshikage was dressed in a turtle costume... along with Okuyasu, Koichi, Rohan, and [Y/N]. Along for the ride were his mother and Jotaro also dressed in turtle costumes. Josuke gulped as he took a step back.
"What's going on here...?" Josuke asked uneasily.
"It's too late to turn back, Josuke," Kira smiled menacingly. "We are now of the Turtle Coven. And you must join us!"
"Join us, Josuke-kun." [Y/N] purred, grabbing onto his arm.
"Join us," Everyone else chanted. "Join us. Join us. Join us. Join us."
Josuke closed his eyes, bracing himself in terror. For a few moments, nothing happened which confused him. He opened his eyes and gave a tentative look-around. When he realized he was in [Y/N]'s house, the confusion turned into relief.
"Josuke," [Y/N]'s voice whispered in his ears. "You alright? Why're you up right now?"
"Yeah, it was just a weird dream I had." Josuke smiled in reply.
"I told you that eating spicy sashimi before bed wasn't a good idea." [Y/N] tenderly scolded. "Want some cuddles to help you sleep?"
Josuke usually wouldn't do so especially in the wake of a silly dream like that, but for some reason, he decided to indulge in the cuddling. .
Tumblr media
Giorno Giovanna
He was working in the office, going over some paperwork. As he was reading a document that concerned itself with the involvement of an infamous Capo, [Y/N] entered in softly, smiling sweetly. He looked up and gave a tender smile of his own, his tense shoulders relaxing a bit.
"Buon Giorno, my sweet prince!" [Y/N] purred, giving me a tender kiss on the cheek.
"Buon Giorno, mi tesoro," Giorno returned with a sweet kiss to [Y/N]'s cheek. "What seems to be the occasion for today?"
"We're hosting a little luncheon today for your parents!"
"My," Giorno's smile slipped a little. "My parents are coming over here today?"
"Yep!" [Y/N] chirped cheerfully. "They're waiting at the foyer now!"
'That's strange,' Giorno thought. 'My parents aren't really supposed to know where I am. This is supposed to be a secret from them.'
"Here they are!" [Y/N] said in a bubbly tone, gently hugging Giorno's arm.
Giorno looked over to where his parents were supposed to be and he swore that he felt his eye twitch in disbelief just a bit. His mother was normal or at least she looked like she did the last time Giorno saw her before he left.
His stepfather, on the other hand, was another matter entirely. It was not because of the clothes he was wearing (a dark-blue suit) nor was it because how his brown eyes twinkled in the chandelier's lights.
No, it was because his stepfather wasn't his stepfather at all. At least, not the stepfather he remembered.
No, the person who was playing his stepfather was a young man with bright brown eyes, freckles, and an impossibly big grin on his face. At seeing this man's face, Giorno felt an odd sense of deja vu.
"Ah, Giorno," The young man beamed. "Bellissimo! It's so good to see you again!" He wrapped Giorno in an extremely tight hug.
"Pardon me, signore," Giorno tried to ask. "But have we met before?"
"But of course," The young man said. His pink hair was suddenly long, reaching down to his waist. "I'm actually the previous Boss, Diavolo! I am also..." Suddenly, the Boss turned into a space creature. "A space creature going to boop you on the nose!"
"...Huh?" Giorno was confused.
"Boop!"
Giorno immediately awoke, finding himself cuddling [Y/N] in the dark of the night. He lay there, confused, wondering what just happened.
"GioGio," [Y/N] asked sleepily. "You okay?"
"I think so," Giorno gave a small smile. "I just had a weird dream is all."
"You regret eating chocolate pudding just before bed?" [Y/N] teased.
"Not really." Giorno teased back.
"Well, alright," [Y/N] purred. "I'll get rid of those awful dreams. Just go back to sleep."
As [Y/N] gently petted his hair, Giorno felt his eyes close softly, a soft smile gracing his face, nodding back to sleep.

WandaNat x Fem!Reader
Carol Danvers x Fem!Reader
Sad Beautiful Tragic (MW x Taylor Swift Series)
Last Kiss (Previous/Connected piece)
18+ | Implied Smut |
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Over a year later, and the way you view the world is astronomically different. Saying goodbye to Carol hurt, boy did it fucking hurt, but the final culmination of all that grief is honestly greater than your wildest dreams(😉).
————————————————————
There's somethin' bout the way
The street looks when it's just rained
There's a glow off the pavement
You walk me to the car, and you know I wanna ask you to dance right there
In the middle of the parking lot
Yeah, Oh, yeah.
————————————————————
The subtle drizzling of the rain down the car windows soothes you, as you catch sight of the city lights reflecting off of the raindrops. An abundance of warmth consumes you as your ears pick up on the faint snores coming from the beautiful Sokovian sleeping against you in the backseat. Inconspicuously, you peer up into the rear view mirror to catch a glimpse of the equally as beautiful Russian in the drivers seat.
Her hand was running through her hair, tousling the shaggy waves, and you were just lost in your head, imagining running your own hands through her hair. You imagine it must be soft with the amount of products that line their shower. Not to mention how long you've had to wait on her to get ready before. Completely lost in your thoughts you had missed the precise moment her eyes met yours. The subtle clearing of her throat pulled you back though, as she threw a wink your way, your eyes widened and you smiled sheepishly at the sight of being caught; judging by the crinkling around her eyes you can tell she was smirking.
A huff falls from your lips at her subtle teasing, while a light chuckle fills the otherwise silent car and she moves her eyes back to the road ahead while you shuffle that much closer to your personal heater in the back and close your eyes.
————————————————————
We're drivin' down the road
I wonder if you know
I'm tryin' so hard not to get caught up now, but you're just so cool.
Run your hands through your hair
Absent mindedly makin' me want you
————————————————————
Natasha drove another twenty miles before the highway eventually ended and she was instead cruising through a small town. Pouring rain had faded into a slight drizzle somewhere along the way, and since her eyes were beginning to droop she decided to roll the windows down.
The chill had seeped through the crack and made its way into the backseat where it eventually enveloped your entire body. Waking you with a shiver, and you peered down to see Wanda's completely unaffected form snoring. Leaving you to wonder how in the hell Natasha handles sleeping with the inferno that is Wanda Maximoff in the summertime.
"Natty..." You lowly whine, and Natasha curses under her breath before locking gazes with you.
Your face was blanketed with interrupted sleep, but your dopey smile helped to ease her guilt in the matter.
"Yes, sweet girl?" She quietly questioned.
"Pull over." You mumble, while gently guiding Wanda's body towards the door, and pulling her hood up so she was comfy.
"What?" She lightly laughs out, but out of curiosity she does exactly what you ask, pulling off the road, and parking besides a vast field.
She observed you get out, then rolled the passenger window down and you then peaked your head in with a smirk.
"Well, come on Natty..."
"Sweetheart, it's raining, and we still have another hour to go before we get you home. Maybe we should get back in the car, yeah?" Natasha exasperatedly states, once again doing as you said though, as she shuts her door and approaches you.
The team calling them whipped no longer seems like a myth...
Natasha decides it's best to just pipe down to see where it is you're taking this. Wanda and Natasha have come to learn that you're a wild card, and they honestly love every bit of it. They're Avengers, so they're no stranger to adventure, but their day to day life is honestly rather mundane. You've somehow reinvented the way they see the world though, having breathed new life into their very beings.
Turning on the balls of your feet you send a playful glare her way, she instantly jumps forward to catch you as the mud beneath your feet betrays you, and you squeal in surprise when the ground floods your sight.
"Falling for me are we?" She teases, and you groan playfully at her as she works to lift you upright.
"Only if you promise to always catch me if I fall.." You sweetly breathe out, and her playful smirk fades into a deep smile once she sees the hopeful glint in your eyes.
"We promise dorogoy.." Wanda's sleep laced voice cuts in as she wraps her arms around the both of you.
"Now, why are we standing in the rain?" She muses, as she pulls you from Nat, and burrows herself against your chest.
"Y/N —."
"Natty was getting sleepy, so I decided to trick her into walking around with me." You tattle, and the assassin glares your way.
"Nat, you could've asked me to take over." Wanda relays, followed by a yawn, and the both of you stare at her with amused eyes.
"You could've asked me...." You correct
"... but instead you chose to nearly freeze me to death..." You continue, and she scoffs.
"Says you who quite literally stepped out into the cold weather..."
"I put your hoodie on first, and I did it for you." You relay, with a deep pout forming.
"Hey, only I get to be annoyed here... My snuggle buddy completely abandoned me." Wanda groans against your chest, and you giggle at her whining.
"Let's go..." Natasha snaps, and your heart hurts at her sudden change in mood.
"Dance with me?" You suddenly ask, with your hand outstretched and she turns to you with furrowed brows.
Natasha instantly loses her edge when she sees the bit of sadness hiding beneath the immense bouts of hope swimming behind your (y/e/c) eyes. The last thing the retired assassin would ever want to do is make you sad, not when your smile is one of her favorite things to see.
"Come on, it'll be fun." You muse, and Wanda lifts her head to rest her chin on your chest before turning to Natasha with an insistent glare.
Natasha then takes your outstretched hand, and you instantly spin her into your bodies. Wanda huffs at the impact, and you giggle before peeling her from your body against her pitiful whines of resistance.
"You too..." You say, cutting her whines off before grabbing her hand to spin her around.
It's pitch black out, not many lights pollute the streets of this desolate town, so the stars are visible through the gaps in the storm clouds. All too suddenly the rain picks back up, and while the older women attempt to take cover in the car they take notice of how it only spurs on your excitement.
No music was needed to get your body swaying, and the barely there, dim reflection from the stars occasionally catches your bright smile. Wanda's unable to ignore your spirited ways, so she giddily joins you by wrapping her arms around you and swaying along with her head to your chest.
————————————————————
'Til we run out of road in this one horse town, I wanna stay right here in this passenger seat
You put your eyes on me, in this moment now capture it, remember it.
————
'Cause I don't know how it gets better than this
You take my hand and drag me head first—Fearless.
And I don't know why, but with you I'd dance in a storm..
In my best dress—Fearless
————————————————————
"Vy oba sumasshedshiye, no ya vse ravno vas lyublyu." Natasha groans in Russian, making her way over to scoop the both of you up.
(You're both insane, but I love you anyways)
Having completely different plans, you somehow evade the assassins skillful grip. Swiftly running back to the car, shaking your drenched form like a dog in a pointless attempt to dry off before clambering into the driver's seat then promptly locking your door.
"Y/N, let me in..." Natasha grumbles, then you cheekily smile while pointing to the back, and holding up the keys you'd swiped from her.
Natasha eventually relents in an attempt to flee the downpour, quickly climbing into the backseat and sprawling out across the entirety of it. Wanda gently climbs into the passenger seat, and loosely interlocks her fingers with yours as you pull off the side of the road, and finish the journey back into upstate New York.
Natasha fell asleep rather quickly, after the entirety of your shenanigans coupled with her previous exhaustion. You couldn't help but smile knowing that she trusted you enough to fall asleep while you drove.
"Of course she trusts you..." Wanda sleepily murmurs, and squeezes your hand.
"Sorry dorogoy, when I'm tired my ability to filter out other's thoughts becomes near impossible." She squeaks apologetically and you squeeze her hand right back.
"No need to apologize Wands, it's no big deal."
"Well, we do trust you sweetheart, and we hope that you feel the same."
"Of course I do, how could I not? You guys have treated me so well, and have been incredibly patient with me along the way, and I couldn't have asked for anyone better to swoop my off my feet. I know I'm safe with you guys."
Wanda's eyes were closed, but her gentle kiss to your hand tells you that she heard you loud and clear.
Once you finally pull into the guest spot of your apartments, you notice the tiny clock read 12:00AM. Wanda and Natasha were peacefully sleeping, and if you'd just closed your eyes you know you'd be too. With great struggle you keep your eyes open, then gently stroke Wanda's cheek to wake her up.
Natasha's groans fill your ears, followed by the sounds of her cracking bones as she stretched herself out.
"Let her sleep..." Natasha slurs, and you turn to meet her sleepy gaze.
"Well, if she doesn't get to say goodbye to me that would be your funeral..." You giggle and the assassin nods in understanding, your words catching up with her exhausted mind, and so you return to waking the witch up.
Wanda's eyes eventually flutter open, slowly taking in her surroundings, then a prominent pout takes its place on her face.
"No... Don't leave." She nearly cries, tightening her grip on your hand and you sigh deeply, leaving them never gets easier, especially not when she stares at you with those teary eyes.
"Goose has already been alone all day Wands, if I don't get back soon he'll eat my TV again." You relay with a reminiscent scowl.
She reluctantly giggles at the image now firmly in her mind, but that doesn't change her seemingly permanent pout as it returns.
The women follow you up to your space, partly for your safety, but more so because neither is really ready to party from you just yet. Nervously you fidget with your hands, while doing your best to block Wanda from your thoughts that were racing. This was the third official date with the women since you'd decided to take a chance on love again.
Their patience with you this last year has known no bounds, and rightfully so, you certainly deserved the benefit of their patience. Doesn't mean you don't know how difficult it had been for them, with how much you can see the longing for more in their eyes when they looked your way. To be honest, your patience with yourself was running incredibly thin as well, when all you've wanted for months was to feel their lips on yours.
It's been over a year since you'd been laid too, as one night stands were not appealing after a five year long relationship. Thoughts and toys were no longer proving to be enough for you anymore, and having them so close all the time didn't make it easier.
"Detka, are you okay?" Natasha, ever the observer, asks as she watches your hands fiddle with your keys.
Once you open the door, you turn to face them but keep your eyes cast to the ground.
"I-I'm okay... Why wouldn't I be?" You nervously mumble, while scratching at the back of your neck with your keys.
Natasha smirks at the sudden shyness, picking up on your subtleties, and understanding that you're indeed flustered. In all her glory, she takes a slight step forward, curling her pointer finger around your jaw, and lifts your face to match hers.
"It's okay darling, you can trust us..." She husks, breaths fanning across your lips, and eyes locked with yours.
She could feel your jaw tense as you gulped, then once she saw your eyes drop to her lips then go back up to hers she took the small step forward. Her lips met yours in a soft manner, and her arm was quick to wrap around your lower back once you'd melted against her.
Natasha smirked into the kiss once she felt your lips parting without request to give her access. Experimentally, she slid her tongue across yours, briefly swirling it around, before immediately pulling a whine of frustration from you once she removed it. Wanda's pitiful whines reminded the both of you to her presence, and Natasha reluctantly pulled away with your lip caught between her teeth before releasing it with a pop.
Your entire body was on fire from the previous engagement, so when Wanda suddenly pounced on you your mind was short circuiting, and you were just thankful that you'd still been able to catch her. Natasha honestly found your unexpected strength shocking as she stood their enjoying the view.
Wanda's legs were firmly wrapped around your waist, while her lips moved against yours roughly. Your hands were holding her close by her ass, so in the heat of the moment you'd firmly grasped her cheeks, and her lips stuttered against yours as she moaned into your mouth.
Natasha's sudden groan passed through your ears, and you gently placed Wanda down before removing your lips from hers. Wanda attempted to chase after you, but your hand on her chest stopped her from moving. Before her whine of disproval could pass her lips, your thumb had made its way into her mouth.
Natasha watched the encounter in amusement, as the 'oh so powerful' Wanda easily bends to your control. Then her blown out pupils met your mirroring lust filled orbs, and suddenly she'd accepted your extended hand.
————————————————————
Well you stood there with me in the doorway, my hands shake.
I'm not usually this way but you pull me in and I'm a little more brave
It's the first kiss, it's flawless, really something, it's fearless
Oh, yeah
————————————————————
They've been more than patient with you, as you've made sure to put in the work so that you would be stable enough for them. So, without a moment's hesitation, or a word spoken, you pulled the Natasha into your apartment, and allowed them the opportunity to love you fully.
Goose was quite intuitive, and made sure to hide away in the cabinet, but not before swallowing the remote to your TV as a sign of his disgruntled state.
——
Carol was blissfully sleeping when her phone dinged, she wiped away at the sleep in her eyes, lifting the arm belonging to a random Asgardian woman off of her abdomen, before getting up to grab her phone and slipping into the restroom.
The notification she received was familiar in sound, telling her that there was traffic outside your apartments door. She knew she shouldn't be keeping an eye on you, but she excused her behavior away as that of concern since it was late and you were 'helpless.'
Your door was wide open, so she could only see down the dimly lit hallways, she heard low voices, so to ensure your safety—of course, she changed to a vantage point from indoors instead. A wave of nausea suddenly rolled through her once she witnessed the discarding of your clothes, along with that of her fellow Avengers as they roamed the expanse of your body the same way she once did.
After a tortuous minute of footage she'd finally been able to tear her eyes away; promptly lifting the toilet seat to discard of her dinner. She slid down the wall of her current rooms bathroom, as tears ran down her face. Every night this week she's been with someone knew, which before you was the highlight of her life, but now it all just felt so hollow...

Stuck in a fantasy, Marcy wakes up. Again and again and again. Anne Boonchuy/Marcy Wu
It’s raining outside, when you wake.
It’s not sudden. You can feel yourself drifting in and out of awareness, eyes fluttering against the soft light, dream-like and hazy. You feel a spot of warmth at your side, damp with the lingering traces of an impromptu trip through a storm. Tired brown eyes meet your own, veiled with the thin embrace of sleep.
You can’t remember how you came to this moment. The soft touch of skin-on-skin, your hand lain loosely atop Anne’s arm. A moment frozen in time, warm and safe inside – away from the storm.
The brunette at your side shifts, as though sensing your sudden consciousness. Tired eyes, curls messy from an impromptu nap.
“Hey, Mar-Mar,” she says, “finally awake?”
You simply hum in acknowledgement. The chill of the damp weather outside seems to linger ever so slightly, as you shift closer to the warm body at your side.
You can’t recall ever feeling so warm, so safe.
It’s a shame, though. You can’t stay long, not when your family is move-
The thought cuts off before it can fully form. Fragments of something you should know; something you used to know. It nags at the back of your mind, because you’re pretty sure it had been important. The sound of rain against the window picks up, and your mind drifts back to her.
There’s a leaf caught in Anne’s hair. Small and dry – it crumbles slightly under your touch, brushing the foliage from her curls gently. Your movements are slow, as though any sudden motion would break through and destroy this fragile image before you.
Anne smiles at you, and it’s perfect. Like the start of a favorite film, repeatedly watched again and again and again, dialogue and motions imprinted onto your brain and looped for all eternity. This feels familiar. Right.
“I don’t want this to end,” you say.
“It doesn’t have to,” Anne replies. Her features blur, slightly, as she lifts her hand from where it lays on her pillow, brushing a thumb along your chin. The leaf in her hair is back, though you can swear you’d only just removed it. You blink, and it’s gone again.
Anne’s breath is warm as it fills the gap between the two of you, distance closed with a soft hesitance as Anne leans in…
 “Join us.”
… and the image breaks.
The kiss dissolves against your lips, longing met with nothing but empty air and the faint image of something wrong.
There’s a flash of orange across your vision. A glimpse of code, error messages so vibrant and overwhelming that you’re unable to think for a long moment.
Your vision flickers and fades, and you’re laying beside your oldest friend once again.
“You can have this,” the false image of Anne says, voice comforting and sweet, mimicking the familiarity of one long-loved, “Marcy, we can have this.”
You feel sick, at the sound of your own name.
“I can’t,” you say, though the words feel false on your tongue. Pre-written. Following the script of a scene long rehearsed. Time and time again, endless.
“Why not?” She-He-They-It asks.
“Because you’re not real.”
The fabricated expression falters for a split second, at your words.
“Marcy,” not-really-Anne says, exhaustion and disappointment and hurt overwhelming in sheer intensity. The emotion sounds wrong, in Anne’s voice. “Must we do this again?”
You don’t know what to say. You don’t know if it would matter, either way.
The fleeting feeling from before returns with a vengeance. The deja-vu of a familiar film, though you now know the true reason. You can feel when She-He-They-It loosens its hold, when the reality comes crashing down.
You can feel yourself beginning to drift, as your eyes drift to the ceiling of not-really-Anne’s room, eyes painting across the fabricated surface. It’s too obvious, now that your head is clear. The glow-in-the-dark stars you’d helped put up years prior are arranged wrong, the constellations shuffled into nonsensical arrangements of scattered plastic. The plaster is a shade off.
You wonder what you’ll wake up to next — what torturous daydream the Core will subject you to. Will it be Anne’s warm bedroom again? Another dramatic love confession from Sasha?
You don’t know which would be worse.
It hurts, deep in your chest, as you turn back to not-really-Anne. A girl who looks up at you with nothing but love, nothing but devotion.
You don’t deserve it. Not from the figure of her.
You can feel the words bubbling up in your throat, as you fade. The glimpse of a confession, even though it’s not real – even though the real Anne will never truly know.
Consciousness escapes you before the words even have the chance to fully form.

“I’d like you to name it.”
It felt like an honor, but you also had to think about it seriously. You knew Doyoung was good at his profession, and if he was asking you to name one of his recent works then he must really like it, and you. Since you were kids you had been friends, and not so long ago you made the first step in being more. You had been with him for most of your life, and you wanted to commit the rest of it to him too. Although you weren’t entirely sure he felt the same.
Doyoung was a good boyfriend, great in fact. He was sweet and so adorable. Practically every day you’d join him on a walk along the beach. You’d both always smile so much when together. You could see a future with him. You wanted your future to be with him, but something like that wasn’t a decision you could make on your own. Many times after a walk together you’d get some drinks together, the barista even knew you both by now. You sat together, looking out at the waves, enjoying the cool breeze.
“Doyoung.”
“Hm?”
“Remember that job I applied for.”
“Your dream job one?”
“I got an offer from them.”
“Really? That’s amazing! Congratulations!”
“Thanks, I’m so happy but there’s just one thing…”
“That can’t be worth giving up your dreams for. You’ve always talked about your dreams and following them, this is your chance.”
“What about you?”
“Me? I don’t wanna hold you back or anything.”
“It’s just… the job would require me to move…”
“Oh.”
“So I’m not so sure about it.”
“Y/n.” Doyoung took your hand. “An opportunity like this is once in a lifetime. You shouldn’t pass it up because of me.”
“But what about us? I don’t wanna lose you.”
“You won’t. I’ll be right here.”
“So you’re not even gonna be a little bit selfish?”
“Huh?”
“You’re not gonna tell me to stay cause you don’t want me to go. You don’t want me to choose you in this situation?”
“What kind of boyfriend would want you to give up on your dreams?”
“You haven’t said anything about you in this. If I take the job I won’t be around anymore. I won’t be able to talk or visit much with how things go for new hires. We wouldn’t be able to do all the things we’ve talked about…”
“That’s okay, we can-”
“No it’s not! Don’t you want to be with me instead of encouraging me to leave?”
“I… I don’t understand…”
“I’ve always talked about the future, my future with you, but you never seem to want any of it.”
“Y/n-”
“I don’t know what it is you want, but it isn’t me.”
You got up and walked away without another word. You didn’t want to break down in front of him, but you also didn’t know what else there was to say. Despite things being good you had been feeling that way for a while. Doyoung always seemed like he was happy where he was, and he didn’t strive for anything more. You could understand being content and comfortable where you were, but that wasn’t the case for you.
Doyoung wasn’t sure what went wrong that day, but he knew he would always regret it. For days you just ghosted him, and he was desperately trying to figure out what to do to make things better. He thought he had time, that is until he heard from friends that you were leaving. He rushed out to find you, just barely managing to catch you before you got into a taxi. He grabbed your hand, holding you tight, as tight as he could without hurting you.
“Don’t go, please.”
“What are you doing?”
“You can’t just leave, not like this. We haven’t talked and-”
“We did talk. You told me to pursue my dreams, and not to worry about you because you don’t matter in my life…”
“I didn’t say that.”
“You did. You were so happy for me and didn’t consider at all that you were important too. Maybe I didn’t need this dream, maybe the two of us could make a dream together, but you just can’t commit to anything, can you?”
“I can commit to you. We can build our life together just like you want.”
“Do you mean that? Or are you just saying it because that’s what I wanted to hear?”
“I do mean that, every word…”
“The thing is, I don’t think I believe you.”
“Y/n-”
“I have to go. You know one should dive in first when they truly want something, and I’ve taken the dive. Thanks for the encouragement.”
“Y/n-”
You pulled your hand away and got into the taxi, leaving Doyoung alone by the side of the street. He watched you going, feeling the loss, but that was nothing compared to what was to come. Considering how things went down when you left, he didn’t expect a message from you, and he didn’t get one either. It took days to work up the courage to say something first, and a simple text wouldn’t do. So he called you, and then he heard your phone ringing. He turned around in excitement, you had come back, you were here with him, but that was far from the truth. When he looked back he found a friend holding up a box.
Doyoung slowly lowered the phone and stepped closer, seeing some of your things in the box, most importantly your phone ringing. He didn’t need to be told what had happened. In the moment he felt his heart sink into the void and collapsed to the ground. He screamed out of grief and self-hatred. All he could do was think back to that day. Everything had been so perfect, and if had just said the right thing, if he had realized the truth, you would still be here. He felt responsible, like this was all his fault. If he hadn’t so blindly encouraged you to pursue your dreams, if had spoken from the heart, then maybe he could have gotten you to stay, and none of this would have happened.
Tumblr media
Being alone felt different now. It wasn’t just a phase, something that could go away eventually, it was permanent. Waiting for someone he knew would never come. The days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months. It all felt the same, time just kept flowing and he was unaware of its presence. At every corner he was haunted. He could see the beach just outside the window, sometimes swearing he saw you walking along the coast. Everywhere he went your impression lingered, just as he too was left behind. If he were to move on, leaving this place would be for the best, but he didn’t want to do that.
Even if you weren’t there, he could still feel your presence. He didn’t want to lose that. At some point he began to live again, but more like a shell of his former self. Everything had changed, and yet it was all the same. Sometimes he could pretend. Get lost in work or in his own head, pretending you weren’t by his side but out there somewhere. Then he’d return to reality and remember the truth. Most of the time he seemed alright, functioning as a normal person, but then there were the days he couldn’t. The days he’d get your things and quietly look them over, choking on his own tears and remembering his promise of commitment that came too late. What he wouldn’t give to go back.

I had spent the Summer holidays going back and forth between Draco and Blaises house's, I rarely spent time at my own.
Only when I had missed my family I stayed at home, but that was for a weekend, then I was out again.
Mum and Dad didn't mind that much, they were glad I had friends to spend time with, although they were a bit sceptical because of all three of said friends parents, but Mums heart was too big to hold that against them.
Ron was the one who had a problem, he thought it wasn't right for me to be spending all my time with them, but I think most of it was up to Harry not being at the burrow yet, jealous that he couldn't see his friend but Dad had plans to pick him up on the twenty-forth of August, which would be very soon.
Adrian and I spoke a lot during the holidays, and we had met a couple of times in Diagon Alley, Draco, Theo and Blaise all made up excuses on why they had reason to be in Diagon Alley coincidentally at the same time.
He was really sweet, and I was beginning to like him a lot. I was developing feelings, like more than silly crushes like Wood and Diggory.
I Had met both of Draco and Blaise's parents whilst I was at their houses, Meeting Blaise's Mum was just, awkward, She kept asking me questions about myself, my family's wealth and If I had any interest in the boys and which one I would end up with, She didn't like me that much when I said neither and that they were all just friends. But she was really pretty.
Lucius was just uncomfortable, it clicked instantly for him that I was A Weasley, and he didn't look to thrilled for me to be hanging around his son, thinking I would have some influence on him, He had also told Draco about not inviting such people into his house, many times, in front of me.
Narcissa was the best, For a Malfoy, she was so kind and warm, and we would have tea quite commonly when the boys played quidditch and I didn't want to go outside.
We would just have random conversations, although she did try teaching me how to act like a lady and gave me tips on how to be a good wife, I just bit my tongue and went with it.
"Wake up, pspspsp, wakeup sunshine" A voice was whispering in my ear
"Theo! Leave her alone, she's quiet for once" Another voice said,
I flipped over on the bed, trying to ignore The person bothering me, Theo, and tried slipping back into my dream.
But that didn't stop him, as he started poking me in the ribs. Causing me to whine and slapping the air trying to make him stop.
"Careful before she cries again" Blaise sighed
"seriously, out of all the girls we could of befriended, It had to be the one who cries for every emotion"
"she can hear you, pricks!" I barked at them. "Its too early, why are any of you awake"
"I- Weasley, Its the bloody afternoon" Draco stared at me
"Doesn't matter" I brushed him off. Sitting up and stretching my arms up over my head "Where are we?"
"Draco's" Blaise said
"Ah, right" I pulled off the duvet and walked up to the window to check for post, Draco had a large enough room for the four of us to have a bed each for when we stayed, Theo had demanded him and Blaise had a bunk bed to share.
I took the letters from the owl, giving him some treats from the dish I made Draco put out.
There was no post for them, must of took theirs when I was asleep.
I had a Letter from Mum and Adrian.
Opening Mum's first It read:
Keira,
Your Father is picking Harry up tomorrow with the twins and Ron, then they are going to the Quidditch World cup the next day with the Diggorys and Hermione, do you know what you are doing yet? Will you be joining them?
Lots of love, Mum
"Oh! They're going with the Diggorys, that means with Cedric" I grinned
"Okay and?" Draco asked, emotionless.
"Which means, If I ditch you lot, Then I can go to the World Cup with Cedric" I wiggled my eyebrows
"No! Then what the hell am I supposed to do? Your not ditching me with these righteous gits!" Theo protested
"Oi! Who are you calling Righteous gits!" Draco said, before throwing a pillow at him
I switched Mums letter for Adrian's and dived on to my bed, Chewing my lip as I read:
Weasley,
I am going to the Quidditch World Cup, It would be amazing if you were there, Let me know if you will be as I would love to join you, there's something I want to ask you as well.
I am excited to see you
Love, Adrian x
"Oh Merlin!" I squealed, and hopping up to stand
"What now?" Blaise asked me suspiciously
"He's going to the World Cup, and he wants to ask me something! What if he asks me out?! Oh no, what if he asks me out?! What do I say, what if he actually wants to tell me that he doesn't like me and wants to stop talking, what do I do oh Merlin, Hes going to tell me he likes someone else and that I am annoying, I just know it!"
"Weasley, chill out, Its probably nothing, but maybe you should write back and tell him you're going" Blaise told me
"Brilliant" I snapped my fingers and rushed to reply to him. "Dear, Adrian. Good News, I just so Happen to be attending the Quidditch World Cup as well. It would be oh so delightful to see you there, I am excited to hear what you have to tell me. Can't wait to see you. Love Keira xx" I read out loud whilst I scribbled with my quill that was given to me by Blaise last Christmas.
"Oh, so delightful" Draco mocked me, putting on a high pitched voice that sounded nothing like me.
"Wow, two kisses huh? How scandalous" Theo said
"Shut it, Nott and Malfoy!"
I then wrote out a reply to Mum about my plans to go with the boys and to tell Harry and Hermione I said Hi when they arrived and sent them off with the Owl.
There was a pop and suddenly one of Malfoy Manors house elf's were stood in the middle of Draco's room.
"Master is wanted in the Masters office" and with that they popped out of the room
"Whats that all about?" I asked Draco
"Nothing" Then he Left to go to his Fathers office
I looked towards the other two and they just shrugged
"Its Malfoy, so who know's" Theo said before throwing himself at me, causing us to both fall on my bed laughing.
"Get off me you troll" I giggled.
"Wanna repeat what happened last year in my dorm, Weasley?" he smirked
"Piss off, Nott" I laughed before shoving him off the bed.
"Merlin! There He is, I'll see you guys later" I waved to the three guys after spotting Adrian.
"Weasley, wait" Draco caught my arm
"Hurry up, I gotta go meet him"
"Just, Just be careful yeah, and hurry back, don't stay away for too long, there's a lot of people here" There was something in his tone that sent a shiver down my back, Like he knew that something is going to happen, which put me on edge, what if it had something to do with what his father wanted to discuss with him in his office? When Draco got back he looked scared and grey but shook it off as soon as we saw him.
"I can handle myself, Malfoy, I am quite capable" I said, craning my neck to look up at him, before disappearing into the crowd of cheering and booing people, it depended on what team they were after the Match that the Irish had won. Even though it was Krum of Bulgaria who had managed to catch the snitch.
I could already take a guess in what kind of mood Ron was in right about now.
"Hey, Adrian!" I called to him.
"Hi, Keira, Its so great to see you" He said, Hugging me "Listen, do you wanna go somewhere quieter? I wanna talk to you about something"
"Yeah sure, come on" I took his hand in mine and lead him to an empty spot in the field where no one was "So that thing you wanted to ask me?"
"Oh right, yeah, well Keira, I really like you...and I think your great, do you like me?" There it was, Oh Merlin's beard, my heart was pounding and my hands were growing sweaty.
Shit can he feel that?!
"Y-yeah, I like you too" I tried to say as coolly as possible
"Really? well do you wanna be my girlfriend perhaps?" He asked me and it felt as if fireworks had gone off
"Yes! I would Happily be your girlfriend" I grinned
"Great, because theres something I've been wanting to do for a while" He then bent his head down, His lips landing on mine, Like a proper kiss, not the one I gave Theo last year...my first kiss... this was a real kiss.
Bloody hell was he a good kisser. "Was that Okay?" He asked me as he created some space between us
"That was more than Okay!" I said.
We had kissed a few more times after before deciding to go back to our own tents, kissing one last time before promising to see each other on the Hogwarts express.
I felt giddy, I kept blushing like mad.
I had a boyfriend. I had an older boyfriend. I had an older boyfriend who was a chaser on Slytherin's Quidditch team.
I giggled all the way to the tent I was Sharing with the three boys as I thought about him.
"What in Salazar's name is wrong with you?" Blaise asked me as I waltzed in the tent
"What's wrong with your face?" Draco asked "you know, more than normal"
"Nothing" I attempted to say but I kept giggling, giddily.
"Don't tell me you've just been snogging the bloke" Theo said.
Silence
"Merlin's beard, Weasley are you serious?!" Draco demanded
"Well, he is my boyfriend, why wouldn't I" I quirked an eyebrow
"Wait, He made it official?" Blaise asked "Wow, Weasley can pull someone, I'm not the only one shocked, am I?" he teased.
"Oh shut it Blaise, at least I have someone, what about you lot?" I said, crossing my arms
"She's got a boyfriend" I heard Theo murmur to himself, I furrowed my eyebrows but decided to ignore it.
"can't believe the Irish are still at it, I'm knackered" I laughed, stretching my hands over my head. Listening to the Bangs, and noises from outside
"Guys, I dont think thats the Irish" Theo said, poking his head outside of the tent, then looking at us. Panic clear in his eyes
"We need to go, now" Draco said urgently
"What the bloody hell's going on Draco?" I asked him but he just grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the tent, the other two following.
There were adults and children running around everywhere, mostly into the woods. screaming and crying could be heard. The Place was chaotic.
There was a group of wizards marching, laughing and had their wands pointing upwards, green lights shooting all over the place.
There were four bodies floating in the air in horrible shapes, I couldn't help but stare, I could feel tears burning in my eyes just at the sight, But Draco pulled me away and towards the wood where he was dragging me until I ran like them.
"What the hell is going on?!" I shouted over all the noise
"Be quiet, keep your head down!" Draco told me.
Draco lead us into the woods, we had stopped running as soon as we were out of sight.
Thats when my siblings, Harry and Hermione came hurdling in, They hadn't seen us yet and Ron had tripped over something
"Tripped over a tree-root" He spat and stood up quickly
"Well, with feet that size, hard not to" Draco said from beside me.
"Draco! Stop it" I told him
"Keira?" Hermione had shone her wand at us, so they could see the four of us leaned against the tree's
"Whats going on? Where's Dad?" I ran towards Ron to give him a hug
"Him, Bill, Charlie and Percy are helping out the Ministry" Fred said, he was holding Ginnys hand.
"Wait Bill and Charlie are here?"
"Hadn't you better be hurrying along, now?" Draco said, directing our attention back on him, but he was looking towards Hermione "You wouldn't want her spotted, would you?" A blast sounded and another green light was shot near the trees, making me jump a foot in the air
"What's that supposed to mean?" Hermione asked, I could tell she wasn't impressed or even intimidated by his statement
"Granger, they're after muggles" he said "D'you want to be showing off your knickers in mid-air? Because if you do, hang around ... they're moving this way, and it would give us all a laugh."
"Draco, stop!" I repeated, what the hells wrong with him, seriously?!
"Hermione's a witch" Harry snarled
"Have it your own way, Potter" he grinned, I could punch him "If you think they can't spot a mu-" He glanced at me before finishing his sentence "Muggle-born, stay where you are."
There was another bang, I let out a yelp
"I think its a good idea if we go, don't you think?" Theo said, his eyes kept flicking to me and Draco
"Scare easily, don't they? I suppose your Daddy told you all to hide? What's he up to- trying to rescue the Muggles?" Draco chuckled.
"Where're your parents?"Harry snapped "Out there wearing masks, are they?" I looked towards Blaise and Theo, but they just shrugged.
"Well... if they were, I wouldn't be likely to tell you, would I potter?"
"I really think we should go, now!" I could tell everyone heard the panic in my voice which was okay, making the situation seem more urgent, which it was.
"Lets go find the others" Hermione said
"Keep that big bushy head down, Granger" Draco sneered "Keira, you coming?" His mean tone dropped when he talked to me, all eyes were on me, I could feel Ron's arm tighten around my shoulders
"No! I'm going to go with my family, talk to me when you decide to stop being a prat, Theo, Blaise, be safe, and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid" I told them, they nodded in return.
"Whatever, Weasley, keep an eye out for your boyfriend" Draco laughed before walking off, Theo and Blaise waving bye before following him.
I could feel the trio's eyes on me.
"Boyfriend?" Ron repeated
"Shut up Ron, lets go look for the others" I walked away from him and down the path.
"I'll bet you anything his Dad is one of that masked lot!" Ron said after we walked down the path for a bit
"Well with any luck, the Ministry will catch him!" Hermione said "Oh, I can't believe this, where have the others got to?"
Fred, George and Ginny had left us whilst they were all arguing.
The Path was crowded with teenagers in pyjamas
I Recognised one of the girls "'Ou est Madame Maxime? Nous L'avons perdue-"
"Er-what, Keira, you know french, what's she- Keira? where'd she go?" I hid behind a group of other kids, desperately trying to hide from any students from Beauxbatons before they could notice me, it didn't help Ron was saying my name, loudly.
I reached over to yank Ron's arm over to where I was
"Don't worry about it, lets just stay focused, yeah?"
"Fred and George can't have gone that far" Ron said, him and I both taking out our wands to copy Hermione and casting Lumo's
"Ah, no, I don't believe it ... I've lost my wand!" Harry gasped
"You're kidding?" Ron said
The three of us who did have wands raised them high enough so that we could see more ground and Harry could look for his wand.
But we couldn't see it anywhere.
"Maybe it's back in the tent" Ron suggested.
"Did you have it when you left the match?" I asked
"Maybe it fell out of your pocket when we were running?"
"Yeah...maybe"
There was a rustling noise behind us, making the four of us jump, a house elf was struggling to get herself out of the bushes.
"There is bad wizards about!" she squeaked "People high- high in the air! Winky is getting out of the way!" then she had disappeared into the tree's
"Whats up with her?" Ron asked, looking after her curiously "Why can't she run properly"
"It's like she was trying to stop being controlled by some invisible force
"Bet she didn't ask permission to hide" Harry said.
"You know, house elf's get a very raw deal!" Hermione said "It's slavery, that's what it is! That Mr Crouch made her go up to the top of the stadium, and she was terrified, and he's got her bewitched so she can't even run when they start trampling tents! Why doesn't anyone do something about it?"
My heart bled for poor Winky, I knew how horrible I felt up in the stadiums, I had to constantly cling to one of the boys arm, scared I would go falling at any moment. A majority of the time was spent with my eyes closed.
"Well, the elves are happy, aren't they?" Ron shrugged "you heard old Winky back at the match ... "House-elves is not supposed to have fun" ... that's what she likes, being bossed around ..."
"It's people like you, Ron" Hermione said, hotly "who prop up rotten and unjust systems, just because they're too lazy to-" Another bang had gone off yet again.
"Lets just keep moving, shall we? Ron said, Harry and I both caught the glances he kept giving Hermione.
Draco was most likely right, it was more safer for her if we carried on.
"you know, 'Mione, I agree with you, There has to be something we can do! Maybe start an organisation" I told her
"Really? you think so" she asked me
"Yeah, you're brilliant, Hermione I feel like you could really do something to change things"
"Hm, I'll think about it" She rubbed her chin in thought.
"I pull down about a hundred sacks of Galleons a year" I looked up to see a group of young Wizards surrounding three tall Veela "I'm a dragon killer for the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures."
"No, you're not" Yelled another "You're a dish-washer at the Leaky Cauldron ... but i'm a Vampire Hunter, I've killed about ninety so far-"
"I'm about to become the youngest ever Minister for Magic, I am" a pimple faced wizard cut in
I heard Harry snort.
"Did I tell you I've invented a broomstick that'll reach Jupiter?" My twin shouted
"Ron! Stop it" I shouted at him, the three of us each grabbed Ron firmly and marched him away "What the bloody hell is wrong with you?"
Ron shrugged, like I was the one with a problem
"I reckon we can just wait here, you know, we'll hear anyone coming a mile off" Harry said.
At that precise moment, Ludo Bagman emerged from behind a tree right ahead of us.
"Who's that?" he blinked down at the four of us "What are you doing here, all alone?"
The four of us exchanged looks of confusion.
"Well- theres a riot going on" Ron said flatly.
"What?" The old man stared at my brother.
"On the campsite- some people have got hold of a family of muggles ..."
"Damn them!" he cursed loudly before disapparating with a pop.
"I'm sorry- is he okay?" I asked aloud.
"Not exactly on top of things, Mr Bagman" Hermione frowned
"He was a great Beater, though" Ron said, Leading the way off the path and sitting down in a clearing "The Wimbourne Wasps won the league three times in a row while he was with them."
I watched Ron's stupid Krum doll walk around the ground. Listening to them talk.
"I hope The others are okay" Hermione broke the silence
"I'm sure they will be" I said, leaning my head on her shoulder
"I'm more interested in hearing about this supposed Boyfriend, Malfoy mentioned" Ron glared at me.
I could feel my cheeks blushing as I tried to concentrate on anything else.
"I- uh, I sure hope everyone's okay, maybe we should go look for them" I said
"Is it true?" He asked me I hesitated already giving him the answer "Who is he?!"
"shradiangusey" I mumbled
"What?" Hermione asked me
"Fine! Adrian Pucey, on the Slytherin Quidditch team" I sighed
"Hm, He's a pretty good chaser, probably the only one on the team who doesn't cheat" Harry said
"Him?! but Isn't he the year above us?" Ron said
"Yes, and? Merlin, you sound like the guys" I rolled my eyes
"Don't you dare compare me to them, Honestly, I have no idea how you can stand them"
"I have more self control than you, I guess-" I paused.
We all turned to hear someone staggering towards us
"Hello?" Harry called out.
But he was met with Silence, I could feel the goosebumps forming on my arm at the eeriness.
"Who's there" Harry called once again, standing up to go investigate.
Better him than me.
"MORSMORDRE!" A voice shouted out. A green light was shot from the darkness and a Colossal skull with emerald stars and a serpent acting as a tongue was hanging over us in the sky.
"What the-" Ron gasped
"Bloody hell" I finished. it was like it was rising just like gas.
The screams coming from the Forrest were deafening.
I looked over to the others in panic, Harry was looking around in confusion, like he was trying to figure out what was going on, did he not know what the Dark Mark was?
"Who's there?" He repeated, Hermione was desperately trying to pull him back
"Harry, come on, Move" She pleaded, I looked over to Ron, and his face was mirroring my feelings, Panic and worry.
"Whats the matter?" He asked.
Is this kid serious?
"Harry, Thats the bloody Dark Mark, we need to get out of here!" I told him
"It's you-know-who's sign" Hermione said
"Voldemort's?-"
"Harry, Now!" I urged
Ron had scooped up his Krum figurine and we had started across the clearing, getting no further than maybe a hundred steps, a series of poping sounds announced the arrival of twenty wizards apparating to the area, shit. every wand was pointing towards the four of us.
"DUCK!" I heard Harry yell, before I was pulled to the ground
"STUPEFY!" Yelled the wizards, all I could do was keep my head down and pray nothing bad would happen.
"STOP!" a voice yelled, Dad? "STOP! Thats my kids" I raised my head to see Dad marching towards us "Ron- Keira, Hermione, Harry, Are you all right?"
"Out of the way, Arthur" Mr Crouch told Him.
The four of us rose to our feet quickly to face the Wizards, I was terrified.

Voice Mail - Felix
Tumblr media
Summary: your boyfriend, Felix, who’s currently on his first world tour, promised to call after the concert when you messaged him that you had a bad day. While waiting for his call, you fell asleep so he sent you a voice mail instead
Currently thinking of turning this into a series, thoughts anyone?
"Hi Y/N, my angel...
I'm so sorry that it took longer for me to wrap up my schedule for today, you must have waited a long time for me. I promised to be there for you and I failed. I failed you. Which breaks my heart because you needed me today and I wasn’t on my not by your side but couldn’t even be there for you through a call to cheer you up. You must have waited a lot and I’m sorry for that too… I hope you’re having sweet dreams, tomorrow will hopefully be more kind to you. I’ll make it up to you thousands times for today, I promise!
My heart is truly aching that I can't be with you when you're struggling at work. That I can't be there for you, someone to hold onto when you come home. All I can currently do is to assure you that you're doing amazing and that I'm so endlessly proud of you.
Your hard work will pay off. And l'm not only saying this as your boyfriend, but from experience too ahaha...Eventho, between us two, you’re the one who learns new things faster….
To be honest… l'm having some trouble sleeping lately. Something about your presence, having you close to me as I sleep the smell of your hair, the warmth of your body when I wake up next to you... I need it. And I miss it. Like a lot a lot. Double a lot. I can't wait to reunite with you as soon as I step back home.
…to admire that beautiful face of yours, to kiss those lips that whisper my name, to hold you close to me instead of seeing each other on screen. Which gets even harder with my connection problems, the hotel wifi is worse than our Chan hyung’s wifi… yes, that’s actually possible…
But being honest, any contact with you is better than not being able to talk to you at all. Eventho i wish to be together with you physically, this is at least something. Which is better than nothing, right?
I keep reaching out to you in my sleep, when I'm half awake, thinking you're next to me. But of course, you're not in my bed but back home. I was so lonely the other day that I slept over at Changbin hyung’s bed. I can’t sleep alone and without my angel by my side, I can’t really rest..
Because I'm away. So I just reach out to the cold darkness…. and my heart sinks at realization. God, I just wish I could be next to you right now, holding you in my arms as I watch you sleep peacefully. Playing with your hair, counting the freckles on your cheeks.
Assuring you that you're going to make it through this rough time. I long to touch you, to kiss you. I can't spend another split second away from you.
Did I ever tell you how much I admire you? You're the strongest, most amazing person l've ever met. Your work ethic, your kindness and the way you always try to see the best in people no matter how bad someone appears to be, is truly admirable and only some of the things I love so infinitely about you. The way your eyes lit up when you win against me at Mario kart, it makes my heart skip a beat and I fall even more in love with you each time.
even miss our tickle fights and how we end up cuddling afterwards, miss it all. I miss you. I miss you a lot...
I'm so proud of you, baby. Because despite the struggles, you're working hard and are determinate to push past the obstacles. Never underestimate your worth, baby. You're amazing and made to achieve big things. Especially, your own dreams. You've worked so hard, it won't be in vain. I'm sure of that.
Can I actually tell you a little secret? I'm sure you know it already ahaha... I'm so in love with you.
I can't wait to be with you again. I'm not going to let you go once you're back in my arms. Lots of cuddles, kisses and cookies, okay?
I'll let you sleep now... I mean, you're already sleeping but I don't know how to come up with a good ending for this voice mail... I love you, baby.
Don't ever forget that”

Found Once Again Chapter 19
LMK Wukong x Bao Li
Tumblr media
First Previous
Bao Li gazed into Wukong's golden eyes for a moment.
He truly was sincere with each word he spoke.
Bao Li had to admit, she did miss Wukong's warm hugs.
And how patient he was with her.
And how kind he was to her.
In that moment, Bao Li felt as if she was falling for Wukong all over again.
"Well. There is one thing I must apologize for: I'm sorry for leaving you. That was truly a foolish, foolish thing on my part. Can you ever forgive me?"
"Of course I do! Like I said, you've got nothing to be sorry for here!" Wukong reminded as he dried her tears with his thumb.
"Then, may I ask you one last question?"
"Of course. Anything."
"Would you...Would you like to get back together again?" Bao Li squeezed her eyes shut and braced for the worst.
But the worst never came.
Instead, she was met with an absolutely flabbergasted Wukong.
His jaw nearly hit the ground and his eyes nearly popped out of his head.
He promptly let go of Bao Li's face and rolled up one of his sleeves.
"Do me a favor. Pinch me as hard as you can. And don't hold back." Wukong instructed quickly as he shoved his exposed arm into her face.
"Um, oh-Kay then..."
PINCH!
"YEOWCH! Ok, definitely not dreaming!" Wukong chuckled as he rubbed his arm.
"Oh dear! Are you alright-"
"Bao Li I have never been more alright in my life! Do you really want to get back together?!" Wukong squeaked, his eyes twinkling with hope.
"Yes. I do. I really really do!" Bao Li confessed as more tears trickled down her cheeks.
"Wait! Are you sure? Because you don't have to-"
"I know but I want to. "
In a flurry of excitement, Wukong grabbed Bao Li's face and pulled her into a long overdue kiss.
Bao Li was shocked for a moment before returning the kiss.
Tears poured down Wukong's cheeks.
After all the years he spent grieving, never in his wildest dreams did Wukong think he'd even see his beloved peach again let alone taste her sweet, sweet, lips once more.
She still tasted just as wonderful as she did all those years ago.
Wukong's tongue desperately explored every inch of her mouth, savoring every flavor of his sweet peach.
Wukong clung to Bao Li's face for dear life in fear she'd fade away at any moment.
Bao Li felt her heart race as she returned the kiss.
The sweet taste of peaches overwhelmed her senses as her tongue playfully wrestled back.
It felt as if time itself had slowed down to a stop.
All that seemed to matter was she and Wukong.
If this was a dream, Bao Li hoped she'd never wake up.
Bao Li was so certain she wanted to live her life without Wukong. But now she honestly felt as if she'd die if she never got to feel like this again.
What a fool she had been!
The feeling of guilt soon melted into a feeling of pure bliss as she melted into the kiss.
It felt as if a missing part of her heart had finally been found once again.
Eventually, the kiss slowly came to an end.
Wukong reluctantly parted from the kiss and begun to pant.
"Sorry about that...peaches...Guess I got carried away."
"It's...alright... I missed that. A lot." Bao Li giggled as she caught her breath.
"Yes! Finally! The Monkey King and The Crystal Princess are back together again!"
The sound of MK's excited cheers startled both monkeys.
"Oh dear! MK I'm so sorry! I guess we forgot you were-"
"Ah, don't worry about it. The kid's fine, right MK?" Wukong chuckled as he looked over at MK.
"I'm more than ok! I'm so glad you guys are finally back together again!" MK cheered as he punched the air.
"You know what? I am too-" -Bao Li looked back at Wukong- "-Thank you for-"
"Woah! Woah! Woah! Wait! Were you just about to thank me for taking you back?!" Wukong asked incredulously.
"Well I mean-"
"Peaches. Look. At. Me-" -Wukong grabbed her face- "-You don't have to thank me or apologize for anything. You've done nothing wrong here, ok?"
"Ok." Bao Li agreed, her voice muffled by Wukong squeezing her cheeks.
"Good-" -Wukong turned to MK- "-Sorry, bud. Looks like we're gonna have to cut training short today."
"No problem! I'll give you two love birds some privacy! See you later!"
And with that, MK trotted off.
Once he was certain MK had left, Wukong turned his attention back to Bao Li.
"Now that we're alone, I have a very special idea to celebrate us getting back together."
"Oh? Do tell! Do tell!"
"I could tell you but I'd rather just show you." Wukong teased.
Before Bao Li could respond, Wukong scooped her up, bridal style, and carried her out of the Treasure Room.
After a few minutes of walking, Wukong carried Bao Li to a lovely spot that overlooked the mountainside.
"Here we are!" Wukong sang as he gently set Bao Li down.
Bao Li's eyes lit up as she took in the beautiful scenery below.
She could practically see all of Flower Fruit Mountain from where she sat!
"Wow! It's beautiful up here, Wukong!"
"Not as beautiful as you." Wukong purred as he plopped down next to her.
Wukong then ripped out a few of his hairs and summoned a lovely picnic.
"Oooh! This looks really yummy-" -Bao Li took some food and tried a bite- "-Um, I don't mean to be rude but am I eating...hair right now?"
Wukong's eyes widened as he realized what he had just done.
"Ack! Sorry, Peaches! I forgot that you're not a big fan of hair-food! Here, lemme fix this."
Wukong immediately turned the picnic back into clumps of hair.
Wukong then transformed the hair clumps into several clones of himself.
The clones immedeantly dashed off to all corners of the mountain.
"Eh? What's going on?" Bao Li asked curiously.
"Just wait. They should be back right about-"
Wukong was cut off by the clones returning with armfuls of fresh peaches.
"-Now. Excellent work guys!"
The clones all took a bow before turning back into clumps of hair.
Wukong then blew the clumps of hair away and handed Bao Li a peach.
"There we go. Much better."

what the actual fuck i'm so fucking mad you got that message in your inbox, you're like the most loving most positive person here always enjoying your interests in such a nice way like that personally angered me you don't deserve that at all. that was written only to piss you off please don't let them, your love for vice versa and jimmysea is honestly the cutest most endearing thing and it makes me genuinely happy seeing you talk about it so excitedly every day. their episodes were soooo good imho so cute so them! i've missed them a lot and i'll be rewatching FOR SURE! what were your fave 3 moments? if you can choose! fuck that anon and the other ones that might be the same person. love you monica keep loving them as hard as you do <3
ANON YOU'RE MAKING ME TEAR UP THIS IS SO SWEET 😭😭 idk if i deserve all these nice words but please know that i deeply appreciate them and that they mean a lot to me!!!! thank you so so much for this 🥺💜
honestly i LOVED the our skyy episodes like i know im terribly biased, but out of all the ones we got until now i think the plot for vice versa felt the most organic and coherent to the characters and their journey. once again everyone involved in the show put so much care and attention into it, and jimmysea have such a natural easy chemistry to them, they sell the lovesick fools who have been married for five years SO WELL. IDK IF I CAN PICK ONLY 3 FAVORITE MOMENTS BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL SO GOOD BUT LET ME TRY:
1) the beach scene. IRREVOCABLY CHANGED ME MY LIFE MY PERSPECTIVE THE FOUNDATION OF MY PERSONHOOD THE BIOCHEMISTRY OF MY BRAIN AND THE ENTIRE MAKE UP OF MY BEING ON AN INTRINSIC MOLECULAR LEVEL. AGAIN. i haven't even begun to process A QUARTER of the insane amount of parallels they managed to pack in just 3 minutes of screentime and how, by doing that, they were able to show just how far puentalay have come in their journey: from strangers to lovers, from a one sided drunk kiss to a passionate yet tender mutual kiss, from a mouthed 'i like your name' to a mouthed 'i love you', from talay's life ending in the ocean to the ocean being the witness of his love, that same love he once thought was just an annoying distraction in the way to achieve his dreams and that now has become an essential color in the palette of his life..... literally made me experience every single emotion present on the spectrum of human consciousness, im gonna need a 2 weeks long vacation in a controlled environment to decompress and recover from the sheer high romance and the whole entire everything of it all
Tumblr media
also not to toot my own horn but i love being correct and never losing:
Tumblr media
2) both the birthday conversation and the drawing one. SORRY I KNOW IM CHEATING BUT I JUST CAN'T CHOOSE BETWEEN THESE TWO MOMENTS. WHEN I SAY PUENTALAY INVENTED COMMUNICATION UNDERSTANDING CARE LOVE SUPPORT!!!!!!!! im not mentally stable enough to be coherent about this but like.. one of the reasons i adore puentalay is that since the beginning they have always been willing to try to understand each other. no relationship comes without misunderstandings or conflicts, they're always bound to happen from time to time because we're all different and we all react to things in different ways, but what matters the most is the way you can come together after that to face the issue and make it better. i feel like people often have this idealized vision of love where everything must be perfect and passionate and all-consuming, but i believe love is actively choosing to share your life with someone every day as you help each other navigate through it and enjoy the quiet moments together, and i think these two conversations show that puen and talay have this kind of love, a love that will last forever because whatever happens being together is the most important thing for them
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3) puentalay and jigsaw sleeping in the same bed. LITERALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU EXCEPT THAT I PERSONALLY DON'T EVEN WANT KIDS BUT SEEING PUEN AND TALAY BEING SO TENDER WITH JIGSAW AND REARRANGING THEIR LIFE TO MAKE SPACE FOR HIM HAD ME LYING IN THE DIRT SOBBING FOR SEVERAL HOURS TO CLIMB DOWN FROM THE SUGAR HIGH THIS SCENE GAVE ME WITH ITS SWEETNESS. it also reminded me a little of the scene in episode 6 when talay admits everything he has missed about puen: talay has always been more rational and reserved with his emotions compared to puen, but it's in quiet moments like these that you can see how deeply his feelings actually run. both puen and talay have so much love to give and one day, when they will be ready, they're gonna have a kid of their own and expand their family, and this knowledge is gonna MAKE ME DIE HAPPY AND IN PEACE
