so i made a reading list for all batfam members AND batman’s rogue gallery members, from 1985 crisis on infinite earths reboot 'till december 1997. including all batfam related one-shots, mini-series, maxi-series, etc. i marked, like, everything? and i thought someone might need such a reading order because when i started to read batfam comics, i sure could use something like this (every reading order i've encountered included only essentials and important events, i on the other hand, included, well, everything? even the unnecessary issues. as long as there's a batfam member present, that issue will be in my reading order✨️). i'll edit this reading order once i get to 1998 and so on, so yeppp, hope it helps, if you want the pdf file or anything, just dm me, i'll send it to you, i'd put it here but yk.

I'm gonna talk about more than just Miraculous from now on

Many must have noticed that I mostly talk my Tumblr was mostly about Miraculous Ladybug content. But I've decided to expand my horizons, I'm into more than one fictitious universe, and from now on I'm gonna talk about so many more fictitious worlds other than Miraculous, like Spider-man and Batman (with the whole Batfamily ^^), in comics, movies, cartoons and video games

But also video games licence like Tekken and Final fantasy 7 whose next upcoming games : FF7 Rebirth and Tekken 8 are coming out soon in the beginning of 2024 on ps5 for those who know ^^

Of course I wanna talk about a lot more, like the video game Kingdom Hearts

And a french cartoon which marked a lot of us during out childhood ^^ : Code Lyoko

But I may also talk about my favorite mangas, like Naruto for example, and whose next video game is also coming soon on ps4 and ps5 in November 2023

(a kinda late) Happy New Years All! | ProfessorUber’s Year of the Bat(-Family) | Aka time to actually read these comics!

My semi-belated New Years Resolution is to read through a bunch of classic (and modern) runs on various Bat-Family members to get semi up to date on the who mythos.

Am I getting into it a bit late? Perhaps. To be fair; the pandemic + university has left me with little time/energy over these past few years. But lately I’ve been getting into Batman comics and I wanted to continue to that.

I’ve seen a few reading guides but will mostly just go at my own pace/order and just enjoy the ride I think. Current focus though I think is Tim Drake’s Robin (1993-2009) to see more of early Tim and Steph and afterwards probably Cass’ Batgirl run. Also going to be looking into Oracle stuff as well.

There’s a lot of comics out there and maybe this is a tad daunting; but I’ve also been enjoying these characters and the fandom surrounding them. Wayne Family Adventure really helped me get into this weird found family of vigilantes, so maybe now it’s time to learn their roots.

So I think it’s worth the time, even if I kind of wish I did this sooner (but again; there’s been a pandemic going on so been distracted).

So I am joining the Bat-Family Fandom! Probably! Hopefully! Got lots of comics to read first though…

Wish me luck!

(Although honestly my main New Year’s resolution is probably to write more. But reading Batman comics is a close second,)
