A bit about @princessproductivity!
Hey there, everyone! Welcome to the Princess Productivity blog! This blog is written by myself, a 23-year-old Christian woman, residing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! I co-own two successful businesses with my ambitious husband, and I am now pursuing two more entrepreneurial ventures of my own.
My "business beliefs":
Everyone has room to become a better, more productive version of themselves.
Knowledge related to self-improvement should be freely available to those who are willing to take the necessary steps to improve their circumstances.
If a person wants to turn their unpaid passion into a successful business, that passion must be treated like a business, even if they aren't yet making a dime.
Entrepreneurial success can be achieved without the loss of one's humanity, compassion, and generosity.
We live in the era of opportunity, where over 300 million people in the U.S. alone have the wisdom of the internet at their fingertips. The sad reality is that only a handful (about 10%) of those 300 million have the self-discipline to truly pursue entrepreneurial success.
This blog was created for that handful.
On the Princess Productivity blog, I share the things I have learned while building two businesses, and the things I'm still learning as I pursue the founding of two more. From books and podcasts I've discovered along the way, to personal experience and lessons learned, this blog is my attempt at sharing knowledge with others.
No filters, no catch, and most importantly, no charge.

I want to make this blog more homemaking and family focused, in an effort not only to creat more of my own content but also to help myself and others who may be newly married or starting out as homemakers for the first time. I’ll be trying to post different things on the regular; like meal plans, recipes, cleaning routines, to do lists, reflection posts and things of that nature. If you have any ideas or anything in particular you’d like to see, let me know!

Cadfael's fragrent domain, dewy from the dawn and already warming into drunken sweetness in the rising sun, filled his senses with the kind of pleasure on which an ascetic church sometimes frowns, finding something uneasily sinful in pure delight. There were times when young Brother Mark, who worked with him this delectable field, felt that he ought to confess his joy among his sins, and meekly accept some appropriate penance. He was still very young, there were excuses to be found for him. Brother Cadfael had more sense, and no such scruples. The manifold gifts of God are there to be delighted in, to fall short of joy would be ingratitude.

One critique I do have about much of modern media echoes that one post of mine some of you reminded me of; about how evil cannot create, it can only corrupt and make soulless mimicries.
One attempt at disguising this soullessness is extreme emotion.  Sometimes this looks like heavily detailed and exaggerated facial reactions  (Dabi from BNHA comes to mind as a recent example).  Other times, like with rotoscoped 3D animation, there is a high degree of body language that mostly feels forced and calculated to goad the audience into being overtaken by a sense of despair.  I don’t know if that is just a stage acting thing, but there again, the lack of empathy is there, and it shows.
As someone who has loved Fire Emblem: Engage so far, one heavy criticism I have of it are it’s cinematic cutscenes for these exact reasons listed above.  It’s very easy to notice here and is a prime example because the rest of the game, including the intro movie, has a certain sense of sincerity behind the characters that is lacking in the cinematic cutscenes.  They are faking hardship because they lack the sincere love and empathy to truly relate to the characters’ situations and express that to the audience.
So again, to emphasize like what I said in my previous post to my fellow Christians:  Don’t stop creating, and always do so with a caring heart.  Even now, with more research, more formulas, and more advanced technology at their disposal, those who try to willingly deceive still can’t hide their lack of sincerity and empathy.  It is an inescapable mark that they bear.

In my youth, I would often draw comics. I loved telling stories, and I loved comic books. So, making my own heroes and villains seemed to be a good fit. I remember one teacher in school would really encourage me in my art. I was ready to show her any new work, and she would read it.
The earliest story I can remember drawing was an invisible hero named Shadow. No, it’s not the one you’re probably thinking. Maybe “The Shadow knows,” but I didn’t even know HE existed. My hero Duane Nathaniels (a play on my own name) was involved in a chemical accident that rendered him permanently invisible. That is, he was invisible until another accident made it necessary for someone to render him permanently visible and metallic. He then gained a new name, but that’s another story.
I later drew several other stories, mostly about a hero called The Crimson Garnet, who had super speed, shot lightning, healed quickly, and had other powers to boot. His identity was Duane Bronze, which I believe to be an evolution of my Shadow’s alter ego. He went up against a number of villains, but the big one was one known as Street Boss, a man who made use of as much technological advancement as he was shrouded in mystery. The Crimson Garnet’s story is one that shows strength in family. Duane starts his story learning that his grandfather and sister are alive. Later we meet an uncle.
Crimson Garnet is also a story of faith. Someone might ask, “Why go science fiction, then throw faith in?” My Christian faith, my trust in Jesus Christ, is a huge part of my life. Therefore, it’s a major recurring theme in my stories. I want my writing to bring glory to God, and people to the understanding that Jesus loves them and wants to forgive them of their sin if they put their trust in Him. His death (and resurrection) paid for my sins, so I want my life, and my life’s work, to be for Him.
“My Christian faith, my trust in Jesus Christ, is a huge part of my life.”
Crimson Garnet is one of the stories I tell today in audio drama form, and the dramatic story is far from finished. But how did that happen? How did the comic books turn into audio dramas? Well, it started when I realized something. I can’t draw well. I try, and I can get my story across, but it would never be a widespread thing. So I began to turn Crimson Garnet’s adventures into short stories.
At some point, I began writing other short stories, such as Into the Lion’s Den. This was a story about finding strength in Christ, knowing that with Him, one is never alone.
I also wrote another story, Stronghold, which was about a group of heroes who go against a drug lord. Eventually, this storyline joined up with the universe of the Crimson Garnet. I also wrote stories for the other comics I drew that I had available. Shadow was long gone at this point. It’s probably for the best, as it sounds an awful lot like The Invisible Man, now that I think about it.
I’d share my stories at sites like Fictionpress or on message boards where people were interested in such things. The message board runners gave me a good deal of encouragement. A while after that, I discovered podcasting, so I shared my stories with the world, or whoever would listen.
A few years passed, and all had gone well. But then there was a crash. Some of my podcasted stories were lost! My written forms were still with me, but the audiobook versions were gone, and I was going to have to redo many of these stories from the very beginning.
“Telling these stories is a big part of my life. I love writing and producing audio drama.”
At that point, I decided to upgrade my work. I started scripting, getting volunteers to play parts, and adding sound effects and music, which are readily available online for free via places like Soundjay. Now, I have a new friend, Jimmy David Robbins, who produces Crimson Garnet for me to ease my load. He helps me bring my stories to a life they had never seen before.
I’m also bringing Stronghold to new life as well. Julie Westlake Sooter narrated a few, and now Frank Guglielmelli does it for me, while great people like Keith Heltsley, Jack Reilly, Michael Prince, and many others help me by voicing the characters.
Keith Heltsley and I write a series called Dangerous Christian, which is about a stranger who actually goes head to head against a very strong evil in a town ravaged by natural disaster. Four episodes have been made, and more are still in production.
This show stars Michael Prince, Tiffany Lott, and John Warren, with a great supporting cast.
Telling these stories is a big part of my life. I love writing and producing audio drama. It’s an upgrade to what I was doing. It’s like another kind of comic book. I can’t draw it on paper, but I can paint it on the canvas of your mind.

but also though the discussion about alternative medicine on both sides is so heavily tainted with stupid orientalist shit as if chinese people just invented the concept of qi like for fun the same way people invented mothman and it isnt specifically a science to describe the way that body systems are related and the way that feeling is transmitted through the body. like pop culture chinese/native american practices [that youre Definitely misunderstanding] arent Wonderful Secret Mystical Practices the government is witholding from you, theyre very old and sometimes imperfect science. no non western cultures arent imbeciles who believe in baby magic and refuse to listen to modern medicine, you just refuse to recognize the legitimacy of medicine that doesnt use latin nomenclature. like whyyy is this something people are so stubborn about refusing nuance on

Okay so here’s the thing that gets me about Good Omens (s2 in particular):
Earth and humanity are (as far as we know) meant to exist so that heaven and hell have a playing field to best one another, initially by seeing who can exert their influence on humans most and ultimately as a battleground for their war. Humans themselves are kinda inconsequential.
But! Anyone from either side who comes to earth with even a *skerrick* of curiosity immediately starts to fall for the emergent properties of humanity- the music, the food, the art, the shades of grey that simply do not exist in heaven or hell. We see this in Aziraphale and Crowley who have found ways to keep their positions on earth for 6000 years yes, but we see it even more in Beelzebub and Gabriel, who have been to earth many times but only started to *see* it for the first time together, and in Muriel who we are told has never been to Earth before and is overcome with excitement seemingly within seconds of arriving.
There is something so deliciously pure and healing about this story that centres not just love between individuals being the most powerful thing in the universe, but also the simple love of *being alive*. It’s so potent that celestial/demonic powers succumb to the joy of living the *moment* they open themselves up to it. To see these timeless entities stumbling together through human history interacting with and delighting at, not humans themselves so much but the things that they have created. To know that the joy they find in these human constructs is literally changing the very fabric of who they are in ways that they clearly find freeing and deeply fulfilling. That they would literally rather live their quaint little lives on earth, drinking and eating their fill and experiencing human creations, than fulfil their purpose in some cosmic destiny. That they’ll fight to protect it so fiercely even though they’ve been told it’s destruction is preordained.
It’s wild that a story that doesn’t have human characters at it’s centre (in the show anyway), so expertly conveys the joy of being human. Whether you believe humanity exists for a purpose or not, we are simply silly little creatures with an overactive pleasure drive making things that are infinitely more complex than the sum of their parts.
Idk man, it’s the absolute reverence for simple contentment this story holds above all else that gives me life (especially in contrast to its irreverence of Christian morality). I liked season 1 a lot but season 2 soothed some deep hurt in my heart and I’m just so grateful it exists.

Crowley's pre-fall name is BARAQIEL (THEORY)
THIS POST MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS OR RATHER CLUES FOR GOOD OMENS SEASON 2 CONTENTS, PROCEED WITH CAUTION 🤍
Very well. Who doesn't love the Crowley is the Archangel Raphael theory (I am certainly of those people who do). During my first watch of Good Omens S2 I was even somehow almost confident that that was the case.
However, my second, more careful, viewing of this lovely (but equally heartbreaking) season made me change my mind, likely for good. In episode 4, Furfur's book "Demon's Guide To Angelic Beings Who Walk The Earth" shows us a name of a certain angel Baraqiel. (see photo below) Knowing Good Omens that can hardly be a coincidence.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, the very text is quite unreadable. One thing, other than the name, which is pretty clear is the subheading "Angel of the Sky" and since the episode 1 lets us take a look at how Crowley did indeed take part in creation of what is to be seen in the night sky, one can hardly find that entirely non-fitting. One other sentence I was (at least I think) able to read is "Often draped in red."
(On a different note but certainly worth noticing are scribbles that generally just roast Crowley – his suspiciousness, hair and name (though I am not absolutely sure of the latter) "His hair is bad!" Wow, Furfur really does hate Crowley.)
Then there is something written above the name of Baraqiel, unfortunately in none of the picture frames does it get a bit readable. I wonder though, couldn't it be "former"? Since it comes precisely after mention of Crowley to whom should one report on Aziraphale.
Crowley is very powerful. Dominion
A word that is not exactly readable but can be deduced from its placement (it is situated just as Aziraphale's "Principality") is Baraqiel's rank – Dominion Angel. It should be noted here that I very much lack proper knowledge of either Jewish or Christian mythology and I would hate to provide any incorrect claims. I therefore think it is better for me not to overly state things, even more so since everyone can look into it on their own and figure out what that might mean for our beloved demon. What I will say, however, is that they are (as I understand it) very powerful and, placed within the 2nd triad in the angel hierarchy, ranked higher than the Archangels. This would go well along with the emphasis that was in my opinion laid on Crowley's powers quite a lot this season.
For example: "A miracle of enormous power happened last night. The kind of miracle only the mightiest of archangels could've performed," said Shax to Crowley, to which he replied: "How'd you know I didn't do it?" He didn't get an answer.
What I think (and I may be very wrong, obviously) is that a miracle of this vastness wouldn't have happened simply because of a regular angel and a regular demon did together half a miracle each. What is also worth noticing is that the tool with which Crowley created the Nebula is the same as the one he used to temporarily stop time at the end of season 1 right before Satan's arrival. So much to the size of his powers.
Baraqiel, lightning of God. Fallen angel
Finally, to Baraqiel himself. My lack of knowledge concerning this matter still stands and frankly I don't even know where to find valid information about angels and such on the internet. Baraqiel should, however, stand for "lightning of God" and is also regarded as the angel of lightning. In season 2 there are (as far as I remember) two occasions where Crowley is put in correlation with lightning. (1) His poor anger management issues in episode 1 and (2) his not at all better matchmaking in episode 3 ("I haven't done weather in ages"). Furthermore, Baraqiel is considered to be the one who taught astrology to people. Nevertheless, what points to Crowley and Baraqiel being one even more is that Baraqiel is indeed a fallen angel.
So... That is probably it. I usually tent to theorize about stuff in quiet, in fact, this is the first time I've used Tumblr for anything other than reading Neil Gaiman's posts. I didn't even think that I would actually post it but then I've searched on Twitter, TikTok and here on Tumblr if anyone else has already come up with this theory. The only post I could find (hopefully I haven't missed anything) was by @valaza_04 on Twitter (click here) where they refer to the same frame shot as I do here.
Now I know, we are still recovering from heartbreaking (but if you ask me, absolutely amazing) finale and the main thing currently on our minds is figuring out why would Aziraphale choose as he did and the many wonderful theories that come with it. However, considering the utterly virulent look that Metatron shot at Crowley before walking out of the bookshop with Aziraphale and also his "Well, [Crowley] always did want to go his own way. Always asking damn fool questions, too." makes me think that he absolutely does not care for Crowley and whichever angel he was before the Fall. And I reckon it won't remain unnoticed in season 3 and might even be really important (or that is just me wishing for more pre-fall Crowley scenes). Hence I decided that I will post this. And it doesn't matter if no one will see this in the end, it was quite fun to write. However, if there is someone who will read this all the way through, I hope they will accept my apology for the mistakes I have most possibly made (English is not my first language) and also for the ridiculous length this post has come to gather. It turns out, I am just as chatty of a writer as I am speaker.
Well maybe I will come around to write one more post about this theory, only with a proper research this time. Till then thank you and, please, support this season by streaming as much as you can so we can have season 3 of this masterpiece of a show. And be kind to those bringing it to us in your comments regarding the ending, even though it is very frustrating and heart-shattering, it is also maybe the best ending we could have hoped for with the prospects of season 3.
Thank you for letting me talk my heart out, Tumblr.

The Ndamathia [Kenyan mythology; African mythology]
The Kikuyu are a somewhat lesser-known ethnic group located mainly in central Kenya. These people have (or had, I am uncertain whether this religion is still being practised) a religious ceremony that was held every few decades and was connected to a creature called the Ndamathia, a creature associated with rainbows. It was the Ndamathia which made rainbows appear in the sky.
This being was a giant aquatic snake-like reptile of incredible length (said to be as long as the rainbows it created). At the end of its enormous tail grew magical hairs that had potent medical properties.
A complicated procedure was required to harvest these hairs, however. First, the creature had to leave the deep rivers in which it lives. This was done by summoning it with a special ceremonial horn, and when the Ndamathia was on land, it was distracted by a beautiful girl. The monster was dangerous, however, and had to be drugged with powerful medicine, which was administered by splashing it on the ground before the girl (which was traditionally done by the same young girl). The reptilian creature would then proceed to lick up the water containing the drug.
In addition, the girl was covered in castor oil (which is made from beans of the castor plant) to make her slippery. The idea was that if the monster tried to grab the girl, she would be too slippery to hold and she would escape from its maw.
The Ndamathia then followed the maiden away from the water, but as it was an incredibly long creature, it took multiple hours of walking before its tail finally left the water. A group of warriors was waiting patiently for this moment and jumped at the tail as soon as it was on land.
Each warrior plucked as many hairs as possible. Even though the Ndamathia was under the influence of medicine, plucking its tail hairs caused it great pain and the creature would become furious. It immediately returned to the water at great speed, so the warriors had to hide after plucking the hairs. When the giant creature arrived, it would find nobody and decided to go back to the depths from which it came.
As the story goes, the girl who acted as bait to lure the creature away from the water would have an important position in Kikuyu society when the ceremony was over, as she was regarded as a heroine. The priests would then slaughter an ewe, a bull and a male goat. They would then proceed to cut the skins of the ewe and the goat into ribbons and dip them in a liquid consisting of the blood mixed with the stomach contents of the slaughtered animals. The hairs of the Ndamathia were tied to these ribbons to make bracelets, which were to be worn by the elders on the ankle and wrist. When this was all done, a giant celebration would be held.
When Christianity established a foothold in the region, the missionaries tried to convince the indigenous people that the Ndamathia was actually their version of the Christian devil, and the creature was villainised. This made an impact on the indigenous folktales that is still visible today: the Kikuyu’s translation of the Bible translates ‘devil’ as ‘Ndamathia’.
