omg omg omg... what if jk sees yn WALKING TAE HOME?? like it looks like that but they’re just passing by his place or something and he’s actually walking yn home ?? and to make matters worse jk THOUGHT it wasn’t like that but someone told him “oh yeah she’s walking him home, she’s always done that with him” sorry if it’s not an original idea
Tumblr media
cold senior!y/n x stem major!koo masterlist :D
it’s raining at a party and jungkook gets the wrong idea
“good evening.”
yoongi sQUAWKS at the shock that’s mere inches away from his face, having only woken up from his afternoon nap that ended up with him waking right before dinner
why were you all up in his face
what the fuck was that for ://
“god, never do that to me again,” he grumbles at the abrupt awakening even if it’s his system that told him to, only a convenience that you happen to be there when he was starting to shift in his now-shallow slumber
“guess what!!!”
oh you’re squealinG??? alright that must be good
it’s nice to hear you excited anyways because you haven’t been for a long time ever since j*ngkook lol
“just show me,” yoongi sits up fully from his position on the couch, rubbing the remaining sleep off his eyes
normally, you would be pissed instantly because him not guessing just spoils your whole excitement
but tHIS time you don’t look bothered at the slightest, proceeding to take his faux disinterest in stride
the door clicks open and seokjin strides in like he owns the place, trying to immerse himself in the situation he’s walked on as fast as possible
you squeal in regard, eyes now switching between him and yoongi before you whip out something from behind your back
“i got a lunchbox!!!!”
you thrust the lunchbox (you recreated it in the way you receiver it) to yoongi’s face and he flinches momentarily, eyes focusing on the lunchbox first before his mind processes your words
“that is a really shiny scarf it’s — wait what??”
you,,, gOT A LUNCHBOX????
..... and it’s not from him??
yoongi looks at seokjin and the way he looks perplex but definitely sure confirms that it isn’t him either
“so someone — you received a lunchbox. huh.”
WOOOOOOW
you nod earnestly, admiring the shiny scarf and the handiwork of an embroidery that’s your name on it
“yup! i was with taehyung when i noticed it on the corner of the room.”
oh god
seokjin scratches the back of his head and it’s a dead giveaway that yoongi notices, something sketchy definitely up in the air that shouldn’t be there
“yoongi! come here for a sec. i have a uh, question about weed :-)”
jin is nOT good when it comes to segues
he takes the liberty to pull aside a yoongi who has question marks knitted on his eyebrows, his gaze immediately trained on him once they’re far enough away from you
“long story but!!!!! that jungkook kid gave y/n the lunchbox. taehyung just happened to be there.”
you see
yoongi could only digest multiple things from a single sentence at once
but the problem is, he’s digesting EVERYTHING from jin’s sentence and he didn’t want to
he’s just gonna omit the parts he hates the most :D
“y/n. taehyung gave you that lunchbox. say thank you to him tomorrow morning.”
NO??????
jin sputters because that is clearly not the truth he’s just said
and apparently, you seem to think so to because you just laughed at his cutthroat statement
“no he didn’t,” you heartily laugh, putting down the lunchbox before crossing your arms across his chest
no way
both jin and yoongs freeze this time because does that mean you already know who gave the lunchbox to you??
and if you know who, and if you’re laughing right now,,,, does that mean you’ve already forgiven jungkook????
pls say no
“i already thanked taehyung, yoongs,” you smile at the fresh memory, “but two seconds later, he told me that he WASN’T the one who made it for me. he said he’s good at baking, but horrendous at cooking!!!!”
...
.....
“....... so you really don’t know who it is?”
“nope! not a clue :D”
whew
yoongi thinks you should never get to know who it is
jin thinks you shouldn’t know who it is tHIS early
yoongi dodges the topic easily to refrain from dwelling on it any longer, about to send an angry text full of queries to jin later on
“mmm. what was the lunch?”
“my favorite!!!” you beam and even whip out your phone to show them the picture of the food you ravaged hours ago
you turn your eyes to jin, giddy in excitement while yoongi’s holding your phone-holding hand to zoom into the picture
“and it’s just like your recipe!!!”
.. hehe
..... that’s because it his
goddamn jungkook managed to recreate it like his recipe???? hmm commendable
alright yoongi’s angrily looking at him rn
maybe he’ll send an angry paragraph text this time >:(
“weren’t you concerned like... since you don’t know the person? what if they poisoned your lunch?”
yoongi suggests in an attempt to make you think rationally, away from his insistence that you should nEVER know that jungkook made you your favorite
“then i got a good meal out of it.”
:O
that’s not,,,, that’s not a good answer
b-bestie ??????
both yoongi and jin are speechless and the former takes the lead once more, clearing his throat because the conflict of this lunchbox thing is presenting makes his head ache
“anyways, there’s another party tonight.”
you raise your hand quick in the prospect of unwinding for free
“i’m in!!”
“you should be. hoseok’s the host.”
that makes it even better!!!
it apparently doesn’t for mr. student affairs because jin groans in annoyance, not really digging his school official position because he’d need to sit this one out forcibly :///
“goddamn it. jung’s throwing it? his parties are sO good that it even reached our radar when i was still a senior!”
it it reaches senior-level status of approval then that’s like,,,, the only seal of approval you’d ever need
“no way,” you’re awed at the newfound fact, not expecting that hoseok was already an A+ party-thrower even before he became a senior this year
“even namjoon liked his parties.”
namjoon THEE student registrar??? the same namjoon as in your friend by extension because he’s sort of a friend to seokjin???? :O
“really? even namjoon found his parties great??? BUT HE’S LIKE-“ yoongi finds the right substitute words to a stick up his ass in the most respectful way possible because he’s sort of friends with the guy too, “he’s like namjoon,, he’s the antithesis to hoseok.”
jin shrugs because everyone knows the saying at this point
there’s something for everyone at jung’s
“wear a face mask?” yoongi suggests to jin so he wouldn’t be recognized, knowing he’s a lil upset that he can’t come to this party because the face he boasts about is known by everybody
“no. i’m gonna look like a fucking narc, yoongi.”
alright that makes sense
he bounces back from that, waving his hand to shoo you and yoongi off
“sucks. yeah whatever. i’ll hold the fort down, just don’t do anything stupid enough for me to pick you up.”
:)
you’re not gonna do anything stupid!! :)
jungkook’s too down to even focus at the moment
he’s at his desk and he’s supposed to study for a test tomorrow, and all the material needed for it is engraved in his mind already, but well
yeah his mind’s only fixed on you right now and not chemistry
“she thought it was someone else who gave her the lunchbox.”
jin flinches as his door bursts open, his lunch break sign posted rIGHT outside the door to avoid things like these happening
oh it’s jungkook
oh. it’s jungkook ://
“i keep telling you that counseling’s right next door, kid.”
jin himself digs the running joke but jungkook apparently doesn’t, a sorrowed look to his face that can’t be fixed by some teasing
jin ignored that obviously because it’s not like he’s on jeon’s side!! he’s just here to be as neutral and realistic as much as possible
“and besides, it’s not like you put your name on it, right?? wasn’t that your whole purpose? do it to her like she did to you?
”m-my name...,. i’ll put my name...?”
WAIT HOLD ON
jungkook jolts from his desk, an epiphany forming in his mind
he may not have understood the interaction he had with mr. kim hours ago, but after replaying it in his head for hours now (along with that part of you mistaking taehyung to be the giver), he fINALLY gets an idea
he rushes out of his room and right to the couch where jimin’s sprawled out and watching a movie
“hi jimin!!! is there a party tonight?”
jimin almost falls out of his seat from the surprise of seeing jungkook altogether, gripping his chest
“f-fuck! — yeah. yeah dude, there’s a party tonight...?”
wait why is he asking
“o-okay!! take me with you.”
WHAT
jimin’s surprised that jungkook wants to come with, let alone even ask in the first place
buuuut jimin’s a good friend and he’ll say his assurances first before he gets to asking the why aspect to this
“alright. by the way about last time, kook — i swear i won’t leave you alone this time!! i’m gonna hold my alcohol in and-“
“no, no!” jungkook interrupts and shakes his head strongly, spooking jimin for a second with how determined he looks
“you can leave me alone at the party!! i-i’ll be there on my own.”
this is his idea
he’s a man with a plan!!! he’s also a man who has your eyedrops and the various containers he made with it inside his gigantic hoodie pocket
he’s more comfortable now than he was the first time he came around at a party
he knows you’re here somewhere along the crowd and that alone brings him comfort :-)
“i’m gonna go outside. these vape juices are annoying.”
you huff the moment you get a whiff of sriracha-flavored vape juice one more time, the whole area where you happen to sit in being the most annoyingly-scented room in the whole house
who does that!!!!! who gets condiments as their fucking vape juice!!!!!
yoongi waves you off as he’s also nearing his limit too, his peeve being mint chocolate juice and he’s gonna dip as sOON as this dude at the corner tries blowing it into laughable smoke rings again
yeah that’s what fresh air smells like alright
.... and rain??
it’s raining???
wow you haven’t even noticed and practically no one else did
hoseok’s sound system must be too good for none of you to notice that it’s raining outside!! a light shower that looks like it’s gonna turn into buckets within a matter of minutes
“Y/N!!!”
a voice yells into the street and your eyes widen with how loud it is, squinting your eyes hard to try and see the source
is that-
“TAEHYUNG?!?!”
is he running towards you??
wait why is he running towards you
(tae actually found out about this party through yoongi and he heard that there were non-alcoholic jello shots and mini cake hors d’oeuvres which are his favorites so he’s sprinting)
the way that he’s running towards you and the water that puddles when he steps gives you anxiety, a worried lilt to your yell
“TAE?? BE CAREFUL IT’S-“
taehyung can’t register what you just yelled out because before he knows it, he slips
he slips suddenly in the rain and there’s a harsh twist to his ankle in doing so that makes him choke out
“WHAT DID YOU — FUCK!!^]%{^]”
oh my god
you grab the nearest umbrella in the rack from your right, speed-walking to where taehyung’s fallen on the ground
he’s visibly startled, blubbering when you get to him
“i-i’m not crying. it’s the rain.”
of course :-)
you lift taehyung without much help from him since it’s hard for him to shift his body weight into one foot, putting yourself underneath his arm
“yeah, i believe you,” you smile as to comfort him and he returns it in relief, knocking the side of his head to the top of yours because his adrenaline’s through the roof
“i’ll walk you home. or to the emergency room. your call.”
“ER please??? god, m-my roommate’s into crystals and i don’t think amethyst can help me with this.”
yeah lmao that’s your cue to start walking
you text seokjin to meet you at the hospital instead of here, having to consider the fact that an official from student affairs is picking you up and is indeed your best friend being enough of a shock for poor taehyung at the moment
jungkook’s been looking for you for the past minute ever since you stood up from the couch, following you out the door but uh,,, you’re not here??
who is here?
oh wait!!! that’s vernon at the bench by the front foor!!! he’s from his stem class :D
“was that y/n? a-and taehyung?”
jungkook doesn’t beat around the bush because he’s sort of friends with the guy too, the same guy who’s a lil giggly with the daiquiris at the moment
“hey jimin!! what’s up dude? yeah, that was y/n and taehyung.”
uhm what
jimin’s BLONDE!! how could he get mistaken for jimin?
jungkook ignores the mistaken identity, eyes anxiously pointing towards the road again
“she’s walking him home?”
“totally. she’s always done that with him.”
what
..... what
he’s trying to trust it on good faith that vernon absolutely doesn’t know what he’s talking about
jungkook’s hurt but god does that pain shoot through him instantly, getting out of the porch wistlessly
wAIT
that’s you!!! that’s still you!!!!
and you’re-
????
you’re holding up taehyung and he’s limping
your ears pick up on the sudden running behind you and that pANICS you and in turn panics tae
but that doesn’t matter
it shouldn’t.
the cabs are atleast three more blocks away and neither of you brought a car because the dorms are walking-distance
everyone that’s left at the party has got to be too intoxicated to even put a key in the ignition
the weight on your shoulder eases and it makes you stop in your tracks to see if tae’s suddenly regrouped
is that —
jungkook lifts taehyung by his other arm, the light shower of rain making his hair damp without an umbrella like yours
“taehyung’s hurt.”
it only registers now that you’re seeing jungkook and he’s right here, surprising you as a whole
jungkook’s as startled as you are, swallowing the nervousness upon seeing you to get his words out
“a-and i wanna talk to you.”

my happy ending [two] // kara danvers
summary: the secret Kara has been putting off for months finally comes to light, leaving you both in a precarious situation
warning/s: mentions of a breakup (let's be honest, this isn't a spoiler lol)
author's note: here’s the second part! hope you like it :)
part one | masterlist | wattpad
Tumblr media
It had been a few months since Kara and I said 'I love you' and it was around that time when things between us were moving forward. We were still going strong and I had never been in love with someone as much as I was with her. No relationship I'd had in the past was as amazing as it was with Kara – she was magnificent.
I was sure nothing would get in the way of us; we were going strong and despite small, petty arguments we'd had in the past, we'd never truly fell out over something. I couldn't imagine us doing so either, because our relationship was built on honesty and trust. What could possibly break us up?
I was in charge of all social media content for CatCo, so I wasn't one who usually went with reporters to cover stories. In fact, I rarely did unless it was to help a colleague, like now. My friend, Cara, was covering a story at L-Corp – something science-y to do with the labs. I wasn't too into the details, but she didn't want to go alone, so she asked me to accompany her.
So, that's where I found myself now, standing with Cara as she was being shown around the labs of L-Corp by a scientist.
Cara was a professional, asking question after question and digging for the nitty gritty details in which the scientist would try to avoid. It was pretty cool to witness.
"So, that's everything we're working on so far," the scientist finished the tour, stopping by some glass doors.
"What's in there?" I asked, nodding behind the scientist.
The woman glanced behind her before forcing a small smile. "That's something I shouldn't discuss."
I quirked an eyebrow. "Seriously? Now I definitely want to know."
"Look, this isn't a scrutinising article," Cara explained, her voice sounding convincing. "We're not trying to uncover L-Corp's secrets. The last thing we need is another 'evil Luthor' recycled news story."
"I appreciate the sentiment, but I still can't share what's in there," the scientist said, apologetically.
"Off the record?" Cara offered, and I could sense her curiosity, too. "We won't tell anyone. I won't report it."
The scientist seemed reluctant. "It's not a secret, I can tell you both. But it's just, you're the media..."
"Technically, she's the reporter," I pointed out, literally pointing to Cara, who smacked me in the arm.
"C'mon, we'll sign an NDA or whatever," Cara promised.
After some puppy dog eyes and pouting, the scientist (whose name I couldn't remember) gave us some NDAs to sign before finally taking us inside the glass room.
"As you know, we manufacture many different products," she explained, leading us to a desk with some microscopes on. "We're working on recreating Kryptonite."
I furrowed my brows. "That's that stuff that Supergirl and Superman have right?"
"Their weakness," the scientist corrected. "We've managed to recreate the properties of Kryptonite and can use it in case of an attack from Kryptonians."
"But the only Kryptonians we know of are Superman and Supergirl and they would never attack," Cara stated with confusion.
"Not necessarily true," the scientist said. "Remember Astra?"
"The woman who tried to kill us all at the start of the year? Yeah, we remember," I replied, shivering at the memory.
"It's for cases like that," she explained. "It's not a big deal, but we're keeping it on the down low to avoid public scrutiny. As you said earlier."
Cara nodded and began to look through the microscope, studying the Kryptonite on the slides. I looked at the green glowing rock beside the microscope, picking it up and wondering how something so beautiful looking could be so dangerous to an alien.
"Amazing, isn't it?"
I looked up at the scientist. "I guess. This stuff really kills Kryptonians?"
"Too much can, yes," she answered. "Small doses can inflict pain, and manageable doses can strip them of their powers, making them similar to a human. This piece you're holding is a highly-concentrated dose."
"Best keep this far away from National City's only hero then," I joked, feeling a tad uncomfortable that I was holding such a powerful object.
I placed the Kryptonite back on the desk and tapped Cara. She got the hint and concluded the tour.
Cara and I headed back to CatCo after and she thanked me for accompanying her to the tour. It wasn't a big deal, so I smiled and left her be to write it up, promising to give it a read before she submitted it.
I decided to head to Kara's afterwards, seeing as she was working from home today. I brought some food – her favourite, Potstickers – to surprise her, and knocked on with a smile on my face. Just the thought of seeing her got me all giddy, like a little kid.
"It's open!" Kara called out from the other side.
I rolled my eyes playfully and walked into her flat, setting the food on the kitchen counter. "What did I say about leaving your door unlocked, Kara? It could have been anyone!"
Kara grinned from her position at the dining table, standing up to approach me. "But I knew it was you and– ah!"
I furrowed my eyebrows when I saw Kara stumble over her feet when walking towards me.
"Kara, what is it?" I asked, moving forward to help, but when I touched her, she pushed me away and held the table for support. "Kara!"
I looked closely and realised her veins were glowing bright green. That could only happen if...
"Wait a minute," I said, staying stood still as she gulped hard, still hunched over with pain. "You're in pain... and that can only happen if you've been in contact with–"
"Kryptonite!" she cut me off breathlessly, before staring at me with startled eyes.
I stepped back, feeling my heart drop to my stomach. "You're a Kryptonian."
"Why do you have Kryptonite?!" she questioned, still clutching the table and cowering away from me.
I shook my head, still in awe. "I was at L-Corp and we saw some Kryptonite... but only Kryptonians are affected, and there's only two known Kryptonians on Earth... Superman and..."
She avoided my eyes and that's when my suspicion was confirmed. I felt my mouth go dry as I looked at Kara carefully. Her glasses, that was it. That was the only thing separating her from her other identity, her other life. How could I have missed that?
"I've gotta go," I got out finally, my throat closing up.
"Y/N, please wait," she said desperately, stepping forward, but she stopped herself when overcome with pain. Her skin was glowing green now and I realised that there was still Kryptonite residue on me from that highly-concentrated piece I held earlier.
I turned around and left, feeling my heart beat fast in my chest. Kara was Supergirl. I didn't know what to feel because that very fact was still trying to sink in.
I had no choice but to go back to CatCo after, needing to get the rest of my work done for today. But I couldn't concentrate because of what I'd just discovered. Kara was Supergirl. She was an alien. She had a whole other life I didn't know about.
My phone kept getting notifications from Kara – she wanted to explain herself, but she couldn't see me until she was sure the Kryptonite residue had dispersed. I didn't care about that anyway, I didn't want to see her right now. I wasn't sure what I would say if I did – she'd hidden this from me!
I thought we had something special and unique. I thought I'd finally found someone, something, indestructible. I thought I knew Kara inside and out, I wanted to believe I did. But I was wrong. She was pretending this whole time.
I went home after work, leaving a little early because I wasn't actually getting anything done. I was confused, lost, unsure what to do with this information. Kara was Supergirl. When she disappeared randomly, that's probably why. When she would sneak off with James and Winn... they probably knew, too. It seemed that everyone important to her knew. But I didn't. Maybe I wasn't as important to her as I thought.
When I reached my flat, I saw Kara leaning against the doorframe. She perked up when she saw me, clearing her throat.
"Y/N," she muttered, her voice breaking.
I wanted to ignore her, but I couldn't. I simply stared at her, noticing her red, teary eyes and puffy face that were hidden behind her glasses, the same ones that had hidden her identity. It was literally right in front of me and I hadn't noticed. She hadn't shared it with me. I was so sure we would last. A relationship built upon honesty and trust. Huh. What a joke.
"I don't want to speak to you right now," I said as calmly as I could muster, before fumbling with my keys.
"Y/N, please, I know you're angry, but I need to explain to you," she said desperately. "I don't want to hurt you."
"It's too late for that," I mumbled, swallowing down the lump in my throat before managing to slot the key in the hole and push open my door.
"I'm sorry," she said, following me inside. I rolled my eyes as she watched me with a guilty expression. "I didn't want you to find out like this."
"It seems that you didn't want me to find out at all!" I snapped at her, slamming the front door and spinning around to face her. "I found out by accident, Kara. You lied to me. You didn't trust me."
"I do," she tried, but I shook my head, disguising my hurt with irritation.
"No, you don't, otherwise you would have told me," I stated. "I feel stupid for not figuring it out sooner."
"I'm sorry–"
"I don't want to hear it!" I cut her off. "At first, maybe you didn't trust me enough to tell me, that's fine. Then we admitted we liked each other and okay, fair point, you didn't know if we would last so you didn't want to tell me. It's fine, understandable even, that you didn't tell me. But then we told each other we loved each other. And that could have been your chance. But no. You kept pretending that I actually meant something."
"I wasn't pretending!"
"If you weren't, then I would mean something to you, Kara. I would be important enough in your life to have known the truth!" I shouted, my vision blurry with tears. "You let me fall in love with you! Believing we could go somewhere when this whole time, you were living a whole other life! And apparently everybody else knows but me! Right? I presume that's why you're always hanging out with Winn and James?"
She stayed quiet, watching me with tears streaming down her face, but I couldn't care less. She was hurting me.
"Get out," I said, breathing out.
"Y/N–"
"I said get out," I repeated, glaring at her.
She nodded slowly, looking down to her shoes. "I'm so sorry, Y/N..." She walked past me, and I didn't turn around until I heard the door close.
I released a shaky breath, closing my eyes as tears fell. So much for a happy ending.
A lot can happen in a month, which is funny because it goes by quite quickly.
That's how long it had been as I tried to come to terms with how I felt about Kara hiding a big part of her life from me. I couldn't just forgive her and pretend it didn't hurt. The more I thought about it – which was a lot, as much as I tried not to – the more I felt like an idiot.
I was in love with somebody who I truly believed was my perfect someone. I believed she was everything to me, but she was pretending the whole time. I was convinced God was out there, letting me know not to get too attached, too safe with someone, because I would just be setup for disappointment.
Obviously, seeing as Kara and I worked in the same office, it made for, well, pretty much every day an awkward encounter. I tried my best to avoid her presence, which I thought wouldn't be too difficult, but gosh it was. It was like she was everywhere I went – the photocopier, the coffee machine, the toilets. It was infuriating, especially because I began to miss her a lot.
I had to put up with avoiding her eyes and stares from across the room for a long time. I knew she wanted to speak with me, because at first she tried to, but then she gave up and I think everybody knew. Nobody in the office brought it up, but it was obvious they knew, judging from the tension in the air when we were around each other.
And if all of that wasn't enough, it didn't help that I was reminded of Supergirl pretty much every day. She was all over the news and it was literally in my job description to tweet about her when I could. Seeing her – Kara – in all of those photos, reading about how she was literally saving people's lives... it hurt. She didn't trust me enough to tell me about all of it. Was it something I'd said? An impression I gave that made her deem me untrustworthy?
I didn't know anymore. I just knew that by the end of the month, my heart ached more and more, craving for the arsehole that was Kara Danvers. I refused to admit it at first, but when I kept finding myself searching for the blonde around the office, I knew I'd finally accepted what had happened. I wanted her back. I missed her.
It took a while to find the guts to go forward with this, but when I did, I tried to find Kara at work. She wasn't at her desk and nobody had seen her around. I did a quick search around, calling her name, but nothing. Only, when I was on my way into the hallway, I found her standing by the coffee machine. She wasn't alone.
The new-ish guy, Mike or whatever, was stood with her, pretty close to her side, his hand resting on hers on the table.
I knew I had no right – I'd literally blown her off for a whole month – but my heart began to ache at the sight. Whatever they were talking about must have been important. She was staring at him like he had hung all the stars in the sky. Unless that's just what I saw, I wasn't sure. I just knew that I hated it.
The two of them turned around when they heard me call Kara's name and I froze, meeting Kara's eyes for the first time in a long time.
"Y/N?" she breathed out, surprise in her voice and expression.
I licked my lips, backing up. "Sorry, I– sorry. I left it too late. I'll go," I mumbled, my voice breaking.
"No, Y/N, wait!" she tried, but I'd already turned on my heel and speed-walked away.
I felt my eyes tear up like an idiot as I walked away. Of course she'd moved on. Why wouldn't she? I'd wasted her time.
"Y/N, please wait," her voice broke me from my self-pity, and she stopped in front of me, eyes searching mine. "Let me explain."
"I didn't mean to interrupt," I said, clearing my throat. "You don't need to explain anything, Kara. I– I made you wait too long without saying anything. You don't owe me anything." I sucked up a shaky breath and avoided her eyes. "I've gotta go, sorry."
I didn't give her chance to respond, not wanting to hear her comfort me out of pity or obligation, and instead pushed her out of the way before leaving abruptly.
I just felt like an idiot.
I sat at my kitchen counter and opened the pizza box, tucking in there and then instead of getting a plate. I was tired, upset and wished today was over with.
After seeing Kara with Mike earlier on, I felt embarrassed and couldn't wait for my day to be over with so I could sulk over a box of pizza. I guess I should have seen it coming, since I practically pushed her away and gave her no benefit of the doubt. I deserved it, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt any less.
As I was halfheartedly eating my pizza slice, I heard a knock on the door and groaned inwardly. I really couldn't be arsed with the company.
"Go away," I called out, hoping they'd take the hint.
"Y/N? It's me."
I groaned loudly this time, recognising the voice as Kara's. I paused, glancing at the door, debating whether to tell her to go away. But I realised I'd have to face her eventually, and she was way too stubborn to take my word and leave.
With a heavy sigh, I dropped my pizza slice into the box and wiped my hands on my jeans before going to answer the door. Kara was standing there with a small smile on her lips as I avoided her eyes, cheeks growing warm.
"Hey," she said softly.
I nodded awkwardly. "I– er– hi..." I swallowed hard, saying, "Look, if you're here about earlier today, I'm really sorry, Kara."
"No, you don't need to apologise," she was quick to reply. "It wasn't what you thought, I–"
"You don't need to explain," I cut her off, finally lifting my eyes to meet hers. I didn't want her to explain it. "It's your business. I shouldn't have assumed anything."
Her eyes softened as she clearly had more to say. "Can I come in? Please?"
I would have rather ended the conversation there, but the part of me that missed her deeply was telling me to let her in. Next thing I knew, I was stepping to the side and letting her come in, hoping she couldn't hear the racing heartbeat in my chest.
"Mike isn't just the new guy," she said when I closed the door. "His name is Mon-El. He's an alien."
"Kara–"
"He's an alien and I've been helping him to settle into living on Earth," she cut me off, continuing hurriedly. She held my gaze, not giving me chance to interrupt. "Supergirl has been helping him. That's all it is. That's all it'll ever be."
I pressed my lips together, nodding slightly to show her I understood. Her shoulders relaxed and I felt a bit more at ease now myself. She wasn't moving on. Or at least, not with him.
"I didn't know that because I pushed you away," I admitted, frowning. "I didn't give you a chance... I'm sorry."
"You don't need to apologise," she insisted, shaking her head.
I smiled sadly. "I get it could be too late, but–"
"It's not too late," she said quickly, eyes glistening with hope. "I... I was waiting."
I felt butterflies in my stomach as I felt my embarrassment return. "I needed time, that was it." I sighed to myself as I began to pace uncomfortably. "It was silly, really, how I didn't realise the truth. Everybody else knew and I... I should have known."
"Don't say that," she said, and I felt her hand grab my arm reluctantly. I stopped and faced her, seeing her shaking her head. "I didn't mean for you to feel like that. It wasn't your fault, Y/N, it was mine. I should have told you. I wanted to tell you."
I couldn't help but feel betrayed again. "But you didn't."
She let go of my arm and frowned. "It just happened that Winn was the first person I told. And James already knew because of Superman. And then I wanted to tell you next, but being Supergirl was hard at first. It was demanding. And being Kara with somebody who didn't expect anything more was nice. It was selfish, but I had you. And I wanted to tell you after, but I was scared. And once again, I was selfish because I knew I was falling in love with you and I didn't want to scare you away because of this lie."
I swallowed the lump in my throat as she searched my eyes for something.
"It got out of hand and I was in way too deep," she admitted regretfully. "You won't believe me, but I did want to tell you, Y/N. But now you know. And I know you hate me, but I wish you didn't because I am truly sorry I ever hurt you. I never wanted that."
"I don't hate you," I told her, eyes glassy with tears. "I don't think I could hate you even if I tried, Kara."
"I love you," she whispered, a tear slipping from her eye.
I couldn't stop myself as I pulled her in for a hug, squeezing her tight. I had missed her so much and to have her back in my arms was a blessing, even if it hurt me at the same time.
"I don't completely trust you right now," I muttered truthfully, before pulling away and holding her close.
"I understand," she said, nodding and sniffling.
"But I love you, too," I added, knowing that deep down I couldn't stop. "I want to be with you, Kara. You mean too much to me."
She seemed confused as she furrowed her eyebrows. "What does this mean?"
I swallowed the lump in my throat. "I'd like to start again, but go slow. I still care about you and seeing you with Mike– Mon-El– whatever, made me realise that I can't see you being with somebody else."
"I'll earn back your trust," she promised, tucking a strand of her behind my ear. "I never meant to hurt you."
"I know you didn't," I said, grabbing her hand and kissing it gently. "And I know you will."
She smiled through her tears and I felt my heart beating quickly again, glad I had her back. I moved forward for another hug, relaxing into her arms as she squeezed me comfortingly.
We'd get through this. She was still my happy ending, Supergirl or not.

Happy birthday (the cupcakes are ruined)
♥️ Jaeyoon x gender neutral reader.
♥️ Smut; just 2k words (!) of what I'd call comfort porn, lol. It's Jaeyoon's birthday. An awkward first time handjob with a little sprinkle of oral happens. Jaeyoon is a total sweetheart and the reader tries their best! You could almost take it as a crack fic, I guess I can't take anything seriously (and I imagine sexy time with Jaeyoon must be fun anyway).
♥️ Disclaimer: this is just for fun! I’m not claiming that’s how he is in real life, it’s just my imagination doing whatever it wants. Read at your own discretion.
Baking cupcakes, decorating them, waiting for Jaeyoon to come back from work, then cuddling together and, if it escalated, an extra surprise the mere thought of made your heart beat faster... Through the three months of your relationship, you’ve already figured your boyfriend wasn’t big on celebrations, and his busy work schedule didn’t leave much time to elaborate plans anyway. That’s why your idea for the night was fairly simple.
Except, here you were, staring in disbelief at the burnt cupcakes. You could swear you only left the kitchen for two minutes, long before the set baking time. You carefully peeled each cupcake one from the silicone mold in hopes they could, somehow, still be salvageable. Well, you were in for a disappointment, as the burn had already reached way below the crust the moment you turned off the oven.
The sound of the front door opening caused you to hold your breath in horror.
“Baby, I’m home,” you heard Jaeyoon announcing. His voice was noticeably tired.
You froze, still holding one of the silicon molds, unsure of what to do.
“I’m gonna shower first, okay?”
He didn’t wait for your answer, instead going straight to the bathroom.
Two rooms away, you were trying to think of something. You must have lost track of time again, because it felt as if your boyfriend finished showering in seconds.
The moment you caught him standing in the doorway, you threw a kitchen towel over the tray and, for safety measures, moved to the side in a way that made you cover any proof of your failure.
“Happy birthday!” you exclaimed cheerfully. “By the way, the cupcakes are ruined.”
Jaeyoon blinked a couple times, then snorted, visibly amused.
“It’s fine, baby. Thank you anyway,” he said with a smile, approaching. He sneaked his arms around your waist, glancing over your outfit, which was a very bold word, considering it consisted of baby pink briefs and an oversized white T-shirt.
Another thing he wasn’t big on was wearing clothes at home. You were still warming up to the idea, so you always had to throw something on top (comfy sweats or T-shirts were acceptable, and he wasn’t really a fan of fancy underwear either - you appreciated that greatly). Jaeyoon, however, unashamedly walked around in briefs only. God, it wasn’t easy for you. You couldn’t say you didn’t like what you saw, but it was so distracting it almost forced you to keep eye contact with him.
Looking anywhere else would make you blush profusely.
You snatched his attention away by placing a kiss on the tip of his nose.
“There is still one more present I have for you…” you started, looking up at him.
“What is it?” he asked, smiling. Damn, those cute dimples…
As an answer, you glided your hand from between his exposed pecs, down his abs and happy trail, stopping at the edge of his underwear, cautiously hooking a finger under it.
“Hey, we don’t have to.” Jaeyoon kissed your forehead, lightly grabbing your wrist. “Haven’t you told me you don’t feel ready yet?”
“I’m not ready to go all the way,” you explained, looking to the side, “But I wanna take a little step forward tonight.”
You pulled out of his grip and, biting your lip, placed your hand on his already impressive bulge. You didn’t expect it to be so warm to the touch.
“Okay, maybe not so little”, you snorted.
“Are you sure?” Jaeyoon uttered, sounding a bit out of breath.
You nodded with a smile on your lips.
Your boyfriend, despite very obvious physical attraction to you, has always been a total sweetheart when it came to reaching next levels of intimacy. He knew you had no real experience and never pushed you into anything. It took you over a month to get from shy smooches on the cheek to actual making out, and even then, whenever he’d get too aroused, he’d stop in his tracks and ask you to let him cool down a bit. You almost couldn’t believe his patience, even though he’d insist he was just being a decent human being everytime - that wasn’t the experience you had with your exes, though.
This time, you had no intention to leave him with nothing.
“Do we go to the bedroom, or…” you stopped mid sentence, courage leaving you all of sudden.
“I don’t mind just staying in the kitchen,” he replied, planting another kiss, this time on the side of your neck. “It’s so nice and toasty in here after all that baking.” Another one. “Or maybe it’s just because I’m excited for your present.”
You felt a warm shiver spreading through your body. You motioned Jaeyoon towards the counter before the arousal could haze your mind completely.
A makeout session with a lot of tongue followed, with him leaning against the edge of the counter while you trapped him in place with your arms. You really felt in control despite the height difference, plus, it gave you a nice opportunity to squeeze his glorious butt from time to time - he seemed to like it a lot, moaning into your mouth each time you did that.
One particularly low moan encouraged you to slide your hands to his front. He kept you so occupied with his kisses that you pushed his briefs down almost absentmindedly, while you two stayed pressed tightly against each other.
The weight and warmth of Jaeyoon’s hard cock, that you could feel against your stomach even through the fabric of your shirt, made you break the kiss with a surprised gasp.
Jaeyoon giggled sweetly.
“I guess I did get a bit too excited, after all.”
He pulled back (not without pecking your cheek for a good measure) and carefully sat on the floor. After a short hiss because of the direct contact with the cool tiles, he leaned against the cabinet door below the counter.
Not breaking eye contact, he shamelessly spread his legs.
“So, what are we doing?” he asked with a wink.
Doing your best to hold back a nervous laugh, you sat in front of him, the lewd sight of your boyfriend sprawled for you like that making your head spin with desire. You never felt like this for any of your previous partners, but Jaeyoon absolutely deserved to take all of your firsts.
“I was… thinking…” you mumbled, finding it hard to not glance at his dick every now and then, “I just wanted to focus on you tonight… Maybe I could use my hands?”
You hesitantly looked into Jaeyoon’s eyes. The tender gaze he gave you caused your heart to swell with love.
He reached for your hands and held them delicately.
“Can’t wait, baby,” he whispered, “I’m going to guide you, okay?”
A chuckle escaped your mouth. He really couldn’t give up on any chance to hold your hands.
Not wasting any more time, you looked up at the counter. Conveniently, a jar of organic coconut oil was within your reach, so you grabbed it together with a spoon placed nearby.
“It’s fine to use this as lube, right?” you made sure, uncapping the jar. “I’ve read it somewhere over the Internet.”
“It’s more than fine,” Jaeyoon reassured you, tactfully omitting his amusement over your possible research.
Well, your search history was already messed up. It better be worth it.
Jaeyoon’s face was getting flushed; you’d find it cute if not for the situation you found yourself in.
You spooned a hefty amount of oil. After moving the jar out of the picture, you slathered the makeshift lube all over your palms.
“Where do we begin?”
In a matter of seconds, your hands were in Jaeyoon’s again. He guided your left hand to hold his cock at the base. The sight was mouth watering --- your palm looked so small against the thickness of his shaft, but you did your best, holding it firmly with the pressure suggested by Jaeyoon himself.
He made you circle your right hand around him, with your thumb resting against the underside. Here, the pressure applied wasn’t as hard, so your boyfriend started guiding you through the entire length with slow, careful strokes. The whole experience was so intense for you, even though you were the one pleasuring your boyfriend; his cock was so hard and hot, you could feel all the veins under your fingers, and the gentle guidance only made it feel even more intimate.
The strokes became faster and more desperate. Jaeyoon would let out a breathless moan every time you squeezed his cock near the top. Soon enough, when you brushed your thumb over the head, you noticed pearly droplets of precum smearing along with it.
You didn’t even realize how fast your breathing has become. You caught yourself letting out a quiet, breathy moan from time to time, now unable to look away from the filthy sight in front of you.
The best thing about it? Jaeyoon’s whines were becoming louder and more prolonged with each jerking move now. You could see his arms and thighs shaking.
“Let me…” you whispered, your voice hushed by the weight of your desire.
Jaeyoon let you take control, his hands now squeezed into fists, resting on his thighs. Since you got the gist of the stroking already, you dared to glance at your boyfriend’s face.
He looked divine and so vulnerable at the same time: his head thrown back, image of pure bliss on his face. His sculpted chest heaving for air. His abs quivering.
You couldn’t believe it was you who turned him into this gorgeous mess.
“Oh God…”, he moaned, eyelashes fluttering, heart-shaped lips just slightly open. “You’re doing amazing… Baby…”
You couldn’t hold back a giddy smile that beamed across your lips. Turning your gaze back at his cock, you saw - and felt, oh, you felt it so well - it twitch.
As another motion reached just under the crown, Jaeyoon’s hands were back on yours, this time stopping you from any movement.
“Stop... Wait...” he pleaded, breathing heavily, sweat rolling down his chest. “Gonna cum…”
“Isn’t that like… the whole point?” you asked innocently. Jaeyoon looked back at you, wide-eyed.
He didn’t want you to move your hands anymore? Fine.
You licked your lips and leaned towards his shaft. Mustering up your courage, you kissed the tip tenderly, making a soft, wet sound.
Things happened quickly. You didn’t even get a chance to fully lean back to your previous position when you heard Jaeyoon whine loudly. You felt him tighten the grip on your wrists. Next thing you knew, he came in thick spurts on your chest and neck, some of it even hitting the lower side of your cheek.
You froze for a moment. Did you just really… bring him over the edge? With so little touching?
Jaeyoon’s long sigh snapped you out of your musings. He finally let his hands slide off yours. You let go of his spent cock, putting it down as gently as you could.
Your boyfriend tucked his fingers under your chin. He raised it so you could face him.
His relaxed smile was a tell-tale sign you did an amazing job.
“There is my birthday cupcake,” Jaeyoon murmured, smearing his cum on your face with his thumb, squishing your cheek a bit too much in the process. “With icing and stuff.”
You tried to playfully squirm away, but he firmly held your chin in place and leaned down to give you a deep, messy kiss.
Jaeyoon backed off a little to look into your eyes again. His gaze dropped down theatrically. You followed it, only to discover there was a wet spot on the light pink fabric of your briefs.
“It’s a moist one, too.”
Before you even thought of getting embarrassed, he hooked his arm tightly around your waist. He easily lifted you off the floor, only to seat you on the kitchen counter.
He situated himself between your spread legs.
“I better eat it before it gets all soggy.”

3 for bakugo or todoroki
I decided to do Bakugo for this, & then I got this ask after I closed the prompts for this event so I decided to go ahead and do it because it’s actually one of only two Halloween-related ones and I was planning to make this Werewolf!Bakugo anyway lol. This is a fun little AU that just kinda swaps quirks for supernatural creatures, loosely based off of a bunch of campy halloween stuff like Halloweentown and Sabrina The Teenage Witch. Also, the werewolves have destined mates like those dumb Wattpad novels, because sometimes tropes are fun and cute. Also this is THREE TIMES AS LONG AS I MEANT TO MAKE ALL OF THESE but ive also gotten like five??? individual asks for it 😭😭😭so y’all better not let it flop.
3: kissing so desperately that their whole body curves into the other person’s
Though you’ve known Bakugo pretty much your whole life, there’s a lot about werewolves that you don’t know.
If he were a different person, he probably wouldn’t be telling you at 5:47 on his 21st birthday that he’s apparently supposed to figure out who his soulmate is going to be tonight. If he weren’t so closed off, even to his best friend of over a decade and a half, then perhaps you wouldn’t be having this conversation, and perhaps it wouldn’t feel quite like pulling teeth.
“You have a soulmate?” is really all you can say, because most of your mental capacity is going towards keeping the sob in the back of your throat from being audible.
“Yeah,” he grunts. He’s not even looking at you, because he’s holding his phone in one hand and he’s scrolling through it, and though the two of you are sitting on opposite sides of the couch he has your feet in his lap, free arm wrapped all the way around them like he doesn’t want you to leave. “It’s… I dunno. Kinda cool, I guess.”
“All of you have soulmates?”
“Well, yeah. You witches don’t?”
You wrinkle your nose, trying your hardest to ignore the burning at the backs of your eyes. “No. We don’t.”
Out of the corner of your eye you see him purse his lips, as if troubled by the revelation. “Huh. How d’you know who’s the one, then?”
“We just. Figure it out? I guess. Is this why you’ve never dated anyone?”
“Yeah. Not really interested in anyone but my destined.”
He says it so easily, but you know him well enough to understand. He likes the idea of a soulmate; he’s looking forward to figuring out who they are tonight. Who would have guessed that he was a romantic?
It’s awful. It makes your chest burn. You’d only come to terms with your crush on the guy two months ago. Now he’s gonna be taken from you by some random person he’s never met?
No, you suppose, he’s always belonged to them. That’s how it works, right?
“D’you know who it’ll be?”
“Hah? No, dumbass, if I did that would defeat the purpose.” Bakugo pauses, glancing over at you with just his eyes, then darting them away just as fast. It’s probably just a trick of the light, but you could swear he blushes a little as he mumbles, “I know who I want it to be, though.”
Your eyes widen and you lean up, pulling your legs back (ignoring the way his hands tense before letting them go as if he wants to hold on) so that you can kneel on them right next to him. “Who?”
“Not happening.”
“Bakugo,” you whine, drawing out the last syllable of his name.
“I’m not telling you, brat.”
You lean forward, prodding at his cheek. “Is it Mina?”
“No.”
“Jirou?”
“I’m not telling you.”
“Kirishima?”
Bakugo growls out your name, a warning, but you don’t pull away, getting even closer until you’re practically draped over him.
“Todoroki?”
He grabs you, whipping towards you as his arms fly up to wrap around your waist and yank you off him, tossing you back to your side of the couch as you shriek in laughter. He’d never hurt you, you know, and roughhousing like this is hardly new in your friendship; plus, well, you’d be lying if you said you hadn’t been hoping to feel his big, warm hands like this. Despite all his surprises tonight, he’s still all too predictable, and you’d seen this coming a mile away.
What you don’t see coming is him pausing, braced with one arm against the couch all too close to you, holding his torso over you with his head right above yours. And he stares, those crimson eyes unreadable with an expression you’ve never seen before, locked entirely on you.
You can feel his chest rising and falling steadily against yours, and your own eyes are drawn to where his adam’s apple bobs as he swallows thickly. You’re frozen, unable to move though you’d hardly want to anyway, and it hits you like a brick what he’s really been saying the whole night.
You open your mouth to speak, but then the hazy tension is shattered by the shrill sound of his phone.
Bakugo lunges away, pulls back with inhuman werewolf speed, grabbing his phone as he leaps to his feet. “‘S my mom, sundown’s soon, I have to go.”
“Wait, Bakugo—”
“See ya tomorrow, yeah?” He doesn’t wait for an answer, already half out the door.
“Katsuki,” you try, desperate, and it makes him freeze.
The door is open, his knuckles are pale with how tight he’s gripping the knob, but as much as you’ve tried it’s not enough. He’s gone without another word.
You don’t get to sleep that night.
It’s dumb; he’ll lecture you in the morning as he tells you all about his perfect amazing werewolf destined—that was what he’d called it, right? You prefer soulmate. Mate is a wolf thing anyway—who he’s spending all night with, running around in the forest howling at the moon and making out or whatever.
You stay out in the den, curled up on the couch with a blanket draped around you, ice cream in your lap, and an old movie playing that you’re not really listening to because you’ve been too wrapped up in your own head.
For an instant, you’d been so sure. A mere moment of absolute certainty that he was just as in love with you as you are him, that your oblivious pining for years was actually reciprocated. In the hours since he’d pinned you to the couch, you’d convinced yourself otherwise.
Imagine your surprise when there’s a frantic knocking at your door.
It startles you, making you jump about ten feet up in the air, and you freeze on the couch with wide eyes and a gaping mouth staring directly at the solid wood that seems to be shaking in its hinges. You’re halfway to casting a protection charm when a familiar gruff voice shouts your name from outside.
“I know you’re awake, I can hear you in there! Open the damn door!”
You glance at the time to find that it’s just under fifteen minutes to midnight. Awfully soon for him to be done, but you rise from your spot on the couch with the blanket still wrapped around your shoulders and move to let Bakugo in.
“Coming,” you say, not bothering to be loud because you know he can hear even the shifting of your clothes beneath the blanket.
He looks downright feral when you open the door, panting slightly, hair mussed up, eyes wild. But when he sees you, they light up, happy and excited like a damn puppy.
“Are you drunk?”
“Uh… kinda?”
“...Magical bullshit?”
He nods, a rough toss of his head to affirm. “Ancient rituals. Tipsy’s more accurate, if anything. Figured out who my destined is.”
“And you came to me? Shouldn’t you be with your soulmate, then?”
Bakugo blinks, clearly stunned, barking out a burst of laughter before shaking his head. “You’re somethin’ dumbass.”
You go to respond, more than a little insulted because he’s been acting so fucking weird all day and he has the nerve to say you’re being dumb, but any retort is flung from your mind as he steps forward and puts his hands on your arms.
Leaning in until your noses are practically touching, he speaks. “It’s you. It’s always been you.”
“H—huh?” you stutter out, heart stopping and mind reeling with his words.
“I wanted it to be you. And it’s you.” His hands slide down your arms to meet yours. “You’re my destined.”
There’s so much more to say, so much to ask him, everything ranging from but I’m a witch, how is that possible to so we could have been fucking dating this whole time but he doesn’t let you speak, clearly too overjoyed and inebriated, and you’re not entirely opposed when he yanks you in with exactly the level of roughness you’d imagine from him and kisses you.
And finally, finally, after a decade and a half of wanting to (longer than you even knew what kissing was), you can melt into him.
You believe him then, not that you particularly doubted. It’s like his lips are the missing piece to a puzzle, one you’ve been looking for your whole life. He holds you up with ease, werewolf strength coming in handy, as one hand laces with your own and the other darts to the small of your back. He’d be holding you closer, but you’re literally as close as you could be, body curving against him as his taller form hunches over you.
He kisses you far more sweetly than you’d have expected; no teeth or tongue but still all passion, heavy palm and fingers splayed across your back as the other hand pulls you and grounds you. It’s heated and it makes you forget that you’re both standing in the middle of the open front door at midnight.
You’re both reluctant to break away, you can tell because you both linger a little, bodies frozen as the kiss is followed by one, two, three more just as feverish but decreasing in length. Then the two of you pull away for real (not by much, no, he’s holding you far too intensely for you to get far) and you stumble backwards pulling him by his shirt into your home. He gets the hint, following and shutting the door behind you but not letting either of you make it very far beyond.
“All right,” you say finally, breathless both from the kiss and from giddy laughter bubbling up within you, “all right, you’re my soulmate.”
Bakugo kisses you again.

It’s a match! Part. 2

MASTERLIST // PART 1 // PART 3
Tumblr media
“What do you mean he sent you a good morning text?” Jo asked, almost choking on her toast.
“He asked for my number last night,” Y/N explained, her hands shaking while she tried to unlock her phone, “and when I woke up, I had a text from him saying good morning and wishing me a good day.”
“Damn the boy is a keeper,” her friend whistled and winked at her after she read the message.
“He told me he wanted to FaceTime.”
She sat on the stool next to where her best friend was sitting and rested her chin on her hand. The butterflies in her stomach felt more like hundreds of bees buzzing fiercely in there.
“And you?” Jo questioned with an intrigued look on her face, “do you wanna do it?”
“I think so,” Y/N answered, biting the inside of her cheek, “he’s really cute, and I had fun texting last night.”
“Well that’s a new one,” the ginger girl joked. All their friends knew how much Y/N hated texting, leaving messages on read for days, or taking absolutely forever to respond. She always felt weird texting, not knowing very well how to keep the conversation going over text.
“Tell him you have thirty minutes, and then you have to go do something else,” Y/N furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and Jo rolled her eyes, “that way if you don’t feel comfortable you have an easy exit.”
“And what if I’m enjoying it?” Jo looked at her as if she was trying to explain how the water cycle worked to a kid, “Jo I’m being serious!”
“In that case, my love, you hang up and call him again after you tell me everything.”
“Who said I was gonna tell you anything, uh?” Y/N smirked and blew her a kiss after her friend gave her an offended look.
“Whatever, Y/N,” Jo flipped her off, “just tell him your professor was sick or something like that.”
“You’re a lifesaver, did I tell you that?” Y/N kissed her friend’s cheek and then jumped off, “I’m gonna go take a shower, see you later.”
“See you later, babe,” Jo said, “don’t forget to eat!”
“I won’t!” Y/N yelled, on her way to the bathroom they shared.
Y/N: Good morning! Hope you have a great day too
She smiled satisfied at her reply and hit the send button.
Y/N couldn’t remember the last time she felt so giddy about a guy, it was exciting, to say the least. Charlie seemed like an easygoing person and really easy to talk to. Sure she was nervous talking to him, but who wouldn’t? The guy was super cute and so nice to her, she already knew she’d be crushing hard.
Thirty minutes later, she was on her way to class with time to go to her favorite coffee shop and have a quick breakfast.
Charlie: Didn’t think you’d answer me so early hahaha Y/N: I have a class in like 20 minutes, wouldn’t have woken up this early if i didn’t have class lol Charlie: So you’re not a morning person Y/N: Oh no, absolutely not!!
She smiled at the boy in the cashier and laughed softly when he asked her if she was ordering the same thing she always did.
“Oh, can you add a brownie please?” Y/N asked politely, while she looked for her card on her bag. After paying for her food, she went to one of the tables in the back.
Charlie: Noted! I swear i try to not wake up early but i can’t Y/N: I bet you’re the kind of friend that wakes everyone up with a lot of noise  Charlie: How did ya know that hahahaha Y/N: I was just guessing, but you do seem like a loud person Charlie: I am, i won’t try to deny it Charlie: What about you??  Y/N: Mmm Y/N: It depends Y/N: But my laugh is extra loud, so I can’t say I’m a quiet girl
“Vanilla latte!” Y/N put away her phone and stood up to get her order.
“Thanks, Dylan,” she thanked the boy and grabbed a few napkins before making her way back to her table.
Charlie: I bet your laugh is really cute
Her cheeks were burning after that message, and it took her a couple of minutes to tame the butterflies in her stomach before she was able to type a response. Because as much as she wanted to laugh it off and change the topic, she knew he was flirting with her and if she didn’t flirt back, their conversation was basically dead.
Y/N: Guess you’ll have to find out yourself ;).
That was a nice reply, right? She screenshotted their chat and sent it to Jo. If anyone knew how to flirt while texting, it was her best friend.
Y/N: How does it look? Is it too much?? Too little?? Y/N: H E L P
Jo’s response was quick as always. One of the many reasons she loved her.
Jo: Girl it’s fine Jo: Stop worrying about it Jo: It’s mysterious and a good way to tell him you wanna FaceTime Y/N: Ok ok thank you love ya Jo: Love you more
Checking the hour on her phone, Y/N finished her bagel and gathered her stuff. She waved Dylan goodbye and left the coffee shop. She spent more time than she expected to in there and if she didn’t hurry she’d be late for class.
It was times like this one that made her regret not knowing how to drive because even if all her classmates liked the Lyft program they had for free, she still felt unsafe getting in the car without a friend.
Back in the day, when she was still dating Lance, he’d made sure to call her and talk to her during the whole ride to wherever Y/N needed to go just to make her feel safe. After all, he was never a bad boyfriend, their paths just went in different ways and they both wanted different things in life.
Charlie: Yeah i guess Charlie: What if i call you later when you’re done with your classes??Charlie: No pressure
She could feel the blood rushing to her cheeks for the second time in less than an hour and had to bite her lip to stop herself from smiling.
Y/N: Sure, i’ll let you know once i’m done Y/N: But i have to say bye for now Y/N: Gotta pay attention haha Charlie: Get that degree! Charlie: Talk to you later!
Focusing on whatever her professor was saying was a hard task, she just wanted to pull her phone out and text Charlie, see what he was up to and get home as soon as possible, so they could FaceTime.
Sitting on the edge of her seat, she couldn’t help but bounce her leg to relieve the eagerness rushing through her veins. She still had fifteen minutes left, and then she’d be sprinting out of the classroom and going back to her apartment.
“Dude, do you gotta use the bathroom or what?” Sadie, the girl she always sat with during class, whispered through gritted teeth.
“Sorry,” she apologized, crossing her legs to stop herself from bouncing her leg. Although the new position didn’t stop her from moving her foot.
“What’s up with you?” Sadie snorted once she realized Y/N couldn’t sit still.
“Nothing,” she replied quickly, scribbling on her notebook the pages she needed to read for the next class, “I just wanna go home.”
“But you have never been this eager to leave this class,” the girl commented without looking at her, too focused on taking notes, “you love this class.”
“I don’t know,” Y/N let out a sigh and checked the hour on her watch, “I just don’t feel like sitting here right now.”
Her classmate didn’t make another comment about her eagerness to leave the classroom, she just nodded her head as if she was telling her she understood.
“I think that’s all for today, guys,” the professor mentioned, leaning on the desk, “have a good day, and don’t forget to read the articles I mentioned.”
Y/N hurried to gather her things and waved Sadie goodbye before walking as fast as she could to the door. She needed to leave before the halls flooded with students. Y/N considered taking the stairs instead of the elevator but knowing how clumsy she could be, she opted for the latter. Falling down the stairs wasn’t on her plans.
Twenty minutes and a mile later, she dropped her keys on the bowl next to the door of her apartment and kicked off her shoes. She checked her out in the full-length mirror Jo had in their living room and shrugged. Charlie knew she was a college student, and it wouldn’t be weird to see her wearing a hoodie with her college’s logo, also, she was comfy and didn’t want to change into something else.
She fixed her hair and made sure she didn’t have smudged mascara under her eyes and then made herself comfortable on the couch.
Y/N: Just made it home
Y/N: That was one hell of a long class haha
She bit her nails, the nervousness kicking in while she waited for a response from Charlie. Maybe he was busy now that she wasn’t. God if their schedules didn’t let them at least FaceTime, she felt like she’d start crying and delete the app. It wasn’t like she was talking to other guys though.
Charlie: Finally!! Charlie: Wanna FaceTime?? Or are you tired?
“Fuck no,” she whispered to herself before she started writing her reply.
Y/N: Nah! Let's FaceTime
Her heart started pounding on her chest when the video call entered and the phone started vibrating in her hand.
“Shit, shit, shit,” she cursed before putting a smile on her face and answering the call. “Hey!”
Holy shit. His pictures didn’t make him justice.
“How you doin’?” Charlie said and her cheeks blushed.
“It’s that a Friends reference?” she asked trying to hide her smile.
“I swear I don’t mean it in that way,” he laughed, and the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled made her heart flutter. “But seriously, how was your day?”
“It was good even though I hate waking up early,” the way Charlie was looking at her with so much attention, even if it was through a screen it  made her feel so confident, “I had breakfast at this little coffee shop near my apartment and then went to class.”
“But that sounds like a nice morning,” Charlie mentioned, his sweet smile never leaving his face.
“What were you up to anyway?”
“Not much actually,” he shrugged and the gesture made him look young, “I went for a run, then I had to film some tapes for a few auditions, and now I’m chilling.”
“You’re an actor,” Y/N pointed out, not even surprised about the new information he just revealed. It was Los Angeles after all.
“I am,” he smiled, and she swore she could see a pink tint on his cheeks, “I started back in Canada when I was about fourteen or fifteen.”
“Any chances I’ve watched it?” Charlie scrunched his nose and shook his head.
“Maybe, if you are into foreign films,” Y/N tilted her head confused at his answer, “It’s in French.”
“You learned how to speak in French for the movie?” Y/N furrowed her eyebrows together when Charlie started laughing.
“I grew up speaking French and English,” he explained with a soft smile, “I’m French Canadian.”
“That makes a lot more sense now,” she laughed off her embarrassment, “I’m gonna blame the fact that I woke up early today. I’m not this dumb, I swear.”
“Don’t worry,” he said and the smile faded just enough for her to notice his intense stare, “I thought it was cute.”
She bit her lip at his words and tried to look away from the screen, but Charlie’s eye contact felt as if he was looking right into her soul and she couldn’t break that connection even if she wanted to. And she definitely didn’t want to do that.

For someone who seemed so indifferent, Aizawa was very invested in you, and the things that made you happy. That’s how you ended up at your favorite place on earth for what you could already tell would be a perfect day.
The two of you were at Disneyland and Aizawa knew exactly how you liked to spend the day there. You got there before park opening, getting beignets at Downtown Disney for breakfast. A terrible sugary fried dough that was not a balanced breakfast but did it matter? You were at Disneyland. You laughed at Aizawa as he took a bite trying to avoid getting the powdered sugar on his black shirt. He failed but that gave you an excuse to brush the sugar off his chest.
Waiting in line to enter the park always left you with that giddy feeling in your stomach. Walking in through Main Street, music playing and the scent of fresh popcorn and cookies in the air you looked at Aizawa asking him what he wanted to do first.
“Space mountain?” He asked. “If we get there fast enough there won’t be a line.”
“I love your mind.” You said before you grabbed his hand and took off running towards the ride. Tomorrowland was always a fun place to start, and after you hit space mountain you could go on the smaller rides there.
“Okay, but what are we doing for the photo?” You asked walking through the hallways into the loading dock for the ride.
“Hmm.” He said. You always had to plan for a pose for the photo in the ride. Aizawa didn’t care but he always indulged your ideas. “Can’t think of anything.” He said.
Aizawa was a liar. As you got to the spot where the picture was taken, which both of you knew well, he grabbed your face pulling you in for a kiss. By the time you got to the screens where the photo showed you were laughing at how shocked and flustered you looked.
Of course, you got a copy of the photo.
After Space Mountain, the two of you made your ways to Star Tours then after that Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters. The two of you always had a fun time on it. The ride was both a ride and a game where you shot a laser gun at targets. No matter how hard you tried you could never beat his high score. Today was not an exception.
You were starting to think he was cheating, how was it even possible to get a score that high. And he was so indifferent about it. You gave him a hard time about his score as you exited the ride.
“It just doesn’t make sense how you’re that good.” You whined.
“I don’t know what to tell you.” He replied taking your hand in his as you returned to the more crowded area of Tomorrowland.
“It’s not fair.” You said your thumb absentmindedly rubbing against the back of his hand.
“Do you want to go to Matterhorn or Thunder Mountain next?” He asked.
“Hmm, Matterhorn is closer.” You said. He nodded and headed in that direction leading you through all the people. You passed the water of the Nemo ride, watching as the submarines went by.
As you approached Matterhorn you could hear the rattle of the carts going by and people screaming. The sound got you excited for the next ride. The polka music playing as you lined up in the queue.
Matterhorn was one of your favorites even if Aizawa complained about how much it threw you around.
“I think it threw my back out of place.” He complained rubbing his shoulder.
“Aww, baby.” You cooed, walking behind him and rubbing his shoulders. “Maybe if we go on it again it will put it back?”
“I’d rather not take my chances.” He said rolling his eyes at your joke.
“Can I get you some popcorn to make it up to you?” You said, leaning up to press your cheek against his as you continued to rub his back.
“Maybe.” He said.
Popcorn made every line better no matter the wait time. The sun was high in the sky as the two of you crossed through Fantasyland into the back way to Frontierland. You passed by the track of the roller coaster Thunder Mountain, the train car coaster flying past into the intricate desert mountain architecture. You looked at Aizawa excited as you made your way to the queue, snacking on popcorn as you waited.
After Thunder Mountain you went on to Pirates of the Caribbean, appreciating the scent of the water that was so unique to Disneyland. On the ride you found Aizawa’s head resting against your shoulder, you couldn’t blame him it was dark and cool. The perfect nap spot. Since the boat ride was so long it left you with a good amount of time to do so. Not that Aizawa needed any of those luxuries.
Once you were off the ride Aizawa was looking refreshed after his power nap so it was time for you to drag him to his least favorite ride. Splash Mountain.
Aizawa was a brave man, there was no question about it. If he was Superman, Splash Mountain was his kryptonite. He hated the ride, there was something about the drop at the end that he could not handle. This didn’t mean he wouldn’t go on it but he suffered through it every time. All it took was one puppy-eyed look and he was getting in line with a sigh.
On the ride you took the front seat happily as Aizawa sat behind you, holding onto your waist for dear life despite the fact that you hadn’t even left the loading dock.
The ride floated through the log flume as you moved through the different scenery. As it went inside with all the animatronics you danced along with the song humming as you did. The ride went further and the song got menacing as the log began to climb up to the top of the drop. Aizawa now had his head buried into your shoulder as the light got closer.
Once you reached the top you enjoyed the brief view of Disneyland before it plummeted to the bottom, water spraying you as you laughed.
“I hate that.” You heard Aizawa mumble into your shoulder.
As the two of you climbed out he grumbled about how much he hated wet socks as you walked out of the ride. You couldn’t help but snap a photo of the photo the ride took. Your smiling face with Aizawa’s hair covering your shoulder was too good to pass up.
In your gratitude you took Aizawa to his favorite food spot in the park, the clam chowder at Disneyland was amazing and you could never resist. You were able to dry off as you ate and Aizawa looked much happier after eating.
Indiana Jones was the next stop, always an exciting ride and one that didn’t torture Aizawa. In fact, you thought it might be his favorite ride, not that he ever admitted to having a particular favorite. He claimed he liked all the rides, Splash Mountain excluded.
Once you were off that you spent the rest of the day on the smaller rides that didn’t have as long of lines.
The sun began to sink into the horizon and lights began to go on. Disneyland at night was nearly another place. The perfect lighting throughout the park was such an experience.
Finally, the event of the night was here, the fireworks. Now, most people went for the spot in front of the castle to watch it. Which was a good place but it was always very crowded and you had to go early to get a spot which wasted a lot of time you could spend on rides.
The best spot was in Fantasyland, by the carousel. You could watch the fireworks from behind the castle and there were never too many people there. You stood next to Aizawa, Fantasyland was pretty much empty other than a few people in line for Dumbo. The carousel stood in front of you but it was closed during the fireworks.
Aizawa’s right arm was wrapped around you holding you close to his side. You leaned your head against his shoulder as the fireworks began. Music played and fireworks lit up the sky.
You watched in awe at the display, it didn’t matter how many times you had seen it before it was always so beautiful. A familiar song began, I See the Light from Tangled. That song always managed to make you tear up. You were so engrossed in the moment that you didn’t pay any attention Aizawa touching your hand.
That was until you felt cold metal against your finger. You looked down curious what was happening only to see a ring on your left hand. You stared at it trying to understand if what you thought was happening was really happening right now.
Looking up to Aizawa you saw an unfamiliar expression on his face, something between nervousness and excitement. Your eyes teared up, the fireworks around you, the music swelling to the peak of the song, the ring on your finger asking you a question you understood far too well.
“S-Shouta are you?” You questioned.
“Will you marry me?” He asked, his words so heartfelt only pushing more tears from your eyes.
“Y-Yes,” You answered. “Of course!”
Aizawa leaned down, one hand on your cheek and the other around your shoulders as he kissed you.
You loved Aizawa and there was no question in your mind what your answer would be to him. There was no one else you could imagine spending the rest of your life with.
Disneyland was a great place for him to propose at and the way he had done it was literally perfect. The perfect setting and timing not to mention it was subtle but more meaningful than anything else could be.
You loved going to Disneyland with Aizawa.
It’s the way you hold hands through the crowds so he doesn’t lose you and how even when you are out of the crowd he still holds your hand. How he holds you from behind while you're in line, resting his head on your shoulder. That small smirk he gives you at the end of a ride when you look over at him with a big, excited smile. It’s sharing a pretzel, tearing off a piece of the bread and dipping it in the nacho cheese before stuffing it in his mouth for him. It’s how romantic it feels to walk together through the chilly night with the lights glowing perfectly around you.
There was no better way to spend a day with your boyfriend- no your fiance.
After the fireworks most of the crowds left, you took advantage of this going on all the popular rides again while there was no line. Once it got late, the park began to close and you both began to walk out through Main Street, the piano music filling the street like a goodbye.
“Do you want anything?” Aizawa asked gesturing to the gift shops.
“I think I have the best souvenir I could ask for after today.” You said holding up your left hand to him with a smile.
Aizawa smiled back taking your hand in his again, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
“Let’s go home, princess.” He said teasingly.

(masterlist)
Once you heard the click of your door gently closing, you released a breath of air you didn’t know you were holding. You looked to your ceiling as your heart raced with your brain actively trying to calm it down.
Your phone was still vibrating, but you knew it was a call this time. You didn’t have the nerves to answer it, however, and simply looked at the various texts Ashido had sent you. The first was from around noon today:
I’m on my date with Kirishima right now and I am freaking out!!
She vaguely narrated her emotions before a more significant one showed up at 2:00pm.
Where are you?? I want to tell you and Hagakure everything!!!!
You smiled, happy you were now included with her list of what you assumed was best friends. Just before you got home, she texted you a series of question marks.
????
Where are you!?!
And then the flood of texts when you came home.
Were you??
Omg
Were you really went on a date with Bakugou?
Sir explodey???
Why did you not tell me about your date with Bakugou!!
You smiled fondly at your friend’s jokes and knew the rest of your night would be filled with her and Hagakure. Genuinely, it was exciting to know you would spend you night with the two excitable girls. Not only were you ecstatic that you could hear about Ashido’s actual date today, but your stomach flipped at the idea of finally telling them about you and Bakugou.
If there was even anything between you and Bakugou.
It felt a little wild that your relationships with your classmates had grown so much so quickly. You spent a moment reminiscing about living in America and how much time you really spent by yourself. It definitely helped that you lived in a dorm with them too.
Drawing yourself away from your thoughts, you texted her back:
It wasn’t a date!!
But I am on my way downstairs rn
You hastily changed out of your nicer outfit and into shorts and a sweater, something perfect for the sleepover vibes you were hoping for today. Only for a moment did you debate taking out your earbuds; you did not want to become stressed by overthinking. They really were hurting at this moment and you were sure everything would be okay.
You took your earbuds off and placed them into their case that had been in your backpack. You then pocketed the case in the front pocket of your sweater. Just in case. You ears thanked you as you rubbed them and you tried your best to ignore the thoughts rushing into your head.
You can do this, you told yourself. Half of it was because of your classmates thoughts rushing into your head, and half was because of the nerves you still had from today. It had been quite some time since you went a long period without earbuds and you feared getting a headache, but the risk was well worth it considering how your ears were begging for a break.
You took in a deep breath and told yourself to finally go!
Slowly and quietly, you opened your door, almost afraid that Bakugou would be watching you.
With no one in sight, you rushed down the stairs, the adrenaline pumping through your veins made an elevator ride seem like the worst and longest possible thing. You fled down the stairs, running on the tips of your feet to make the least amount of noise.
Once downstairs you rushed to your friends with a beaming smile.
“Hi!” You exclaimed as you plopped down onto the couch.
“Well aren’t you smiley,” Hagakure immediately commented, making heat flush up your neck.
You couldn’t help it. You had a great day with Bakugou and a productive one to boot. That and you were about to spend the night with your current closest friends. Although you started out wanting to just forget your feelings, you could absolutely get used to the way he talks to you and time you spend together.
You replied to Hagakure’s comment by just deepening your smile and shrugging. “Ashido! You have to tell me how it went!” You looked to the pink girl, who had a grin just as wide as yours. That’s a good sign. That and she wasn’t currently crying in her room. “Should we get snacks and go up to someone’s room?” You suggested.
“Yes!” Ashido replied, “That sounds perfect!” The girl immediately stood up and practically skipped over to the kitchen which was still occupied by students.
Each of you moved around silently. You grabbed three cups and a bottle of soda while Hagakure and Ashido grabbed their desired snacks to bring from the pantry. You were still quite full from your late lunch, but knew that this night would go long.
As your hands held onto the cool glass cups and plastic bottle, you imagined how tonight would be going.
It will be great! You decided as Ashido and Hagakure walked out of the pantry with two bags of chips and a box of fruit gummies. You felt the giddiness in your stomach rise as the girls approached you. Silently, you all walked to the elevator, arms full and eyes shining.
“We can go to my room,” Ashido explained as she reached out to press the appropriate floor.
The same floor with Kirishima and Bakugou, you silently noted as the doors closed and the elevator began to rise.
When the doors opened to your and Ashido’s floor, the first thing you saw was Bakugou walking towards you. Shock ran through your veins as the three of your exited before the doors closed and then stood still. It must have been quite the sight to see the three of you, practically in pajamas with hands full of snacks.
If it wasn’t clear from that image that you three were going to be talking about boys the whole night, then Bakugou sure must be an idiot.
“Tch,” He scoffed as his hand found the doorknob to Kirishima’s room.
Wait, you thought and you quizzically stared at him. Were he and Kirishima also going to talk about girls?
At the very least, you were sure that they would be talking about Ashido.
Bakugou gave you a knowing smirk. Looks like those two idiots finally got together, huh? Surely you helped them.
Your eyes widened. No one had noticed you weren’t wearing your earbuds yet except for Bakugou.
Obviously I can see you without them, you idiot. I’m always looking. His eyes squinted at you and silently gasped in response.
The blond barked out a small laugh, before opening Kirishima’s door and leaving you three in the hall like dumbstruck idiots. You knew he was directing his laugh at your shocked face, but the girls probably just thought it was at their wild appearance.
“Weird,” Hagakure laughed as she became the first to start walking to Ashido’s room. You and the pink girl followed quickly behind.
Once inside, you all immediately dropped the snacks off on the bed and desk. Before anyone had a chance to speak, Ashido turned to face you.
“Before I get started,” She began, “I just have to say…
You gulped down the lump in your throat. From her thoughts alone, you could tell she was upset and hurt.
“How dare you not tell either of us that you were going on a DATE with frickin’ BAKUGOU??” Her anger roared through the room and you were sure Bakugou could hear his name being spoken.
“It wasn’t a date,” You responded meekly, knowing full well how it looked when you walked into the dorms, a smile plastered on your face and Bakugou held the door open for you.
Ashido scoffed and rolled her eyes. “Sure it wasn’t,” She accused, sarcasm dripping off every word. “We will get to you later, missy,” She promised before jumping onto her bed and grabbing a bag of fruit snacks.
“Anyways,” Hagakure spoke, breaking the silent tension that had formed. “Please! Tell us about your date with Kirishima!” She practically begged as she sat down at the desk and began pouring herself a drink.
“Well,” Ashido giggled, “If you insist.” The smile on her face that had been there since you met her downstairs was a clear indicator of the results. You, however, still wanted to hear every juicy detail she could remember.
You sat down on the bed across from Ashido, certain this story would be long enough to hurt your legs if you stayed standing.
“I asked him Friday night if he wanted to go out. Well,” She corrected, “I texted him. Let me show you.” She whipped out her phone and moved so all of you could read it. Despite this, Ashido read it aloud as well.
“Hey, Kiri! And then a cute heart emoji.” She pointed at the emoji on her phone. “I was wondering if you wanted to get lunch tomorrow or Sunday? I found this new café a few blocks away from school and really wanted to try it out with you!”
“Then he said…”
“Sure! I would love too! Sunday works best.”
“Then I said—”
“Ashido, we can read it,” Hagakure sassed. You sincerely didn’t mind her reading the texts, it was a cute commentary addition.
“Shush!” Ashido retorted before turning back to her phone, not letting Hagakure get another word in. She pressed her off button and the screen went black. She moved to be sitting normally again and continued, “So anyways we set up a time. And we were having great conversations on our walk. I had decided from the very beginning to bring up dating him after we leave the café. So, we just chat and it’s nice and he’s so sweet and cute and—”
“Ashido,” You interrupt, unable to hide your laughter and her rambling. The girl stopped and looked at you, her eyes wide as if unsure why you stopped her. “You were getting off topic.”
“Oh!” She exclaimed. “Sorry! Anyways, we get there, and it turns out it wasn’t just a normal café, it was a cat café! So, we buy an hour and get our drinks and snacks and it was so much fun. Seeing him with those cats was like, amazingly adorable.” She stops talking for a moment to eat some of the fruit gummies. “Also! He literally bought all the drinks and food and he refused to take any of my money which was so sweet. And I feel like he kinda knew? Like, he knew this was more than just two friends hanging out.”
“What do you mean by that?” You asked before getting up to pour yourself a glass of soda.
“Like, he seemed so nervous an quiet at the beginning, but luckily he started warming up after he saw all the cats. Except a couple times he would get super silent and just look at me with this wistful smile. It’s hard to explain, but yeah.”Ashido described. “Oh, and I wore this really cute dress and sneakers with some clips in my hair and he complimented me with this goofy smile on his face. Even he dressed up nicely in a red, short-sleeve button up.
“Oh, wow,” Hagakure mumbles. “So when did you tell him?”
“After the hour was up, we decided to not pay for another hour and just go,” Ashido explained, “They were also super crowded and busy. However, instead of just heading back home we walked to the nearby riverbank and sat on the grass hill. It was so amazing because it was covered in flowers and the sun felt so nice. Kirishima looked so great. Honestly, we ended up taking some photos because it was just a gorgeous time of day.”
“Okay? But when did you confess?” Hagakure repeated. She was getting quite impatient and wiggling around in the chair.
You laughed as Ashido shushed her. “Let me be happy!” She retorted with a glint of humor. Despite her tone, it was clear she didn’t mean anything horrible and you laughed even harder.
“Fine,” The invisible girl groaned and pouted in her chair.
You were tempted to retort and tease Hagakure about Ojiro, but decided not to change the topic when you were getting to the most interesting parts of Ashido’s story.
“So anyways,” Ashido began once more. “When we were done taking photos, we just started talking about this or that, it was very pleasant. Like, he was telling me about his goals after school and he seemed so excited and passionate, it was great.” She paused for a moment and looked at each of us before continuing. “All of the sudden,” Her voice grew louder and her wide eyes put you on the edge of your seat in anticipation.
This has to be the moment! You thought.
“A cart ran by with roses and Kirishima jumped up immediately and ran to buy a half-bouquet. It was like out of a movie!” Ashido exclaimed, her hands coming up to touch her cheeks as they grew a deeper shade of pink that her typical skin tone.
“Awww” Hagakure sighed.
“I know!” Ashido exclaimed. “So after he gave me the flowers, I was blushing so much and I could barely talk and when I said that the flowers were pretty he was like ‘yeah, pretty like you’!” I was literally screaming on the inside.”
It felt like you had butterflies on the inside of your stomach from simply hearing about Ashido’s date. It was so much sweeter than yours, despite you still being happy with your day. Ashido and Kirishima had known each other for years too, while you and Bakugou knew each other for a week. In fact, your day with him wasn’t technically even a date.
“Kirishima is so sweet!” Hagakure gushed while you simply smiled at your friends.
“So did you confess after?” You inquired while Ashido showed off the roses now in a vase.
“Okay, okay,” She fumbled and she put down the vase and got back onto the bed. “I basically didn’t have any words. I did not expect him to be so romantic so all I could get out was a small thank you. He was super red too which was a good sign. I was trying to get up the courage to say something more, but then he started talking.”
“Oh?” Hagakure added, her commentary working well with the story.
“He confessed!” Ashido practically screamed.
“He confessed?” Both you and Hagakure questioned. You stood up from your spot in shock and Ashido followed.
Her energy was at a high as she rapidly nodded, “Yes!”
“Oh my goodness,” You added, completely shocked that Kirishima could build up the courage and also happen to do it at the same time Ashido wanted to. You could not help but think about Bakugou currently in Kirishima’s room. You wondered what the story sounded like from Kirishima’s point of view.
Was he also nervous and getting of topic? Or is he already done with the story?
You were sure whatever the answer was, Bakugou was already over it.
“It was so sweet and I feel like I blacked out,” Ashido continued. “He talked about our friendship and how he admired me and how that admiration slowly turned romantic as we got older. He ended it by saying he wanted to finally be the manliest he could be and actually tell me how he felt.”
“So sweet!” Hagakure added. “Very Kirishima of him.” She giggled at the idea of the scene, but Ashido seemed as happy as could be.
“So what did you say after?” You asked, silently hoping that their date ended with a sweet kiss.
“I started stuttering, but I was eventually able to say that I like him back,” Ashido explained. “Honestly, it was a bit awkward. That was mainly because both of us were smiling like idiots though. He was so cute,” She said for almost the fifth time that night.
“That really sweet, Ashido. I’m glad you guys finally admitted it,” You encouraged. “I’ve only known you for a short time, but it was clear you guys are really cute together.”
“Thank you, (Y/N)-kun,” She smiled before reaching out to give you an awkward hug over the pile of snacks.
“How did the date end though?” Hagakure asked as you both broke apart.
“Ah, yes!” Ashido exclaimed, as if suddenly remembering something important. “We started talking about it all and agreed to go on another date soon but keep things pretty quiet. Like, we aren’t going to hide anything, but we aren’t going to sit everyone down to just tell them.” There was a brief pause, “Well, except for you guys.”
Both you and Hagakure laughed at that.
“And Bakugou,” Hagakure added, which was something you were thinking, but did not want to bring up.
They are accusing me of dating him and I would hate for these teasing jokes to get to him and hurt the small amount of friendship we currently have, you thought as you laughed at Hagakure’s addition.
“Anyways, we eventually walked home and just talked about random things. The conversation started getting back to normal, but halfway through he held my hand and it was so cute!” She explained. “I hope everything can stay normal, just with more romance.”
“Did he kiss you at the end?” You ask, unable to help it anymore.
Hagakure laughed at you and Ashido shook her head.
“No, there were a lot of people outside, so it just didn’t feel right. I think he kinda wanted to though,” She explained and shrugged. “I’m not upset about it,” She smiled brightly, “I’m just happy we finally admitted it.”
You smiled silently at your friend, not quite having the words to tell her how happy for her and proud of her you are.
Hagakure, however, had much to say. “Oh, my god!” She began her speech. “I am literally so happy for you guys! You are both so cute together, like literally from day 1 at U.A., you two have been the sweetest friends! I cannot wait to see you guys in public. Kirishima is already so red around you that a quick kiss on his check with make him turn as red as his hair!”
“That I help him dye,” Ashido interjected, a wide smile spread across her pink cheeks.
“Exactly!” Hagakure exclaimed while wiggling around in the seat from happiness.
As a comfortable and happy silence filled the room, you each took this opportunity to grab some food. You poured yourself and Ashido a drink while Hagakure opened a bag or chips and Ashido ate more fruit snacks. Once you sat down, you phone buzzed and Hagakure and Ashido glanced up at you. Although you couldn’t actually see Hagakure…
“Probably my mom,” You mumbled, hopefully answering their silent question.
They look away and you handed Ashido her drink before grabbing your phone off the soft mattress. You tried to be as silent as you could when it was Bakugou’s name flashing across your screen instead of your mom’s.
You looked up to the girls who were staring at their own phones and unlocked yours as silently as you could.
Shitty hair is literally running through a pros and cons list of texting pinky…I’m sure your night is just as miserable considering how loud pinky and whatever her name is can get.
You stared at it, trying to figure out just how to reply. You bit your lip, wondering whether to laugh and joke along with him or defend your friend.
You tested out a few different options before finally sending:
I think it’s cute…and I’m not the type to complain about having friends who actually talk to me.
You listened as closely as you could, not sure how this comment would come across. If you paid enough attention, maybe you would be able to hear his thoughts.
Is that a quip at me? You heard a voice that you hoped was Bakugou. It definitely matched to most compared to the other voices in this house you could currently hear. Or is she just trying to share more?
You heard a bit more of his thoughts before you pulled away, not wanting to intervene too much into his privacy.
Eventually, your phone buzzed once more.
I am.
Your heart dropped slightly at the short comment. But another text suddenly came in.
As far as I think, all those other extras share way too much about their personal lives.
Other extras.
Other extras?
What does that mean?
Testing the waters, you put something a bit risky.
I’ll make sure not to share my person life with you now lol
You felt so incredibly nervous about your text and the ‘lol’ at the end felt so cringey as you stared at it.
Nah, you’re fine. For now.
You smiled brightly, you couldn’t help it. That was definitely a good sign and you knew it. You felt like such an idiot as you began typing out your reply.
“Excuse me?” You heard a critical voice say from above you.
You looked up to see Ashido and Hagakure in front of you. You shockingly looked at them, wondering what they could need.
“You sure are smiling like a fool for someone who is just texting your mom!” Hagakure accused you.
“Uhh,” You stumbled, not sure what to say.
Before you could get any words out, Ashido snatched your phone out of your hands and ran across the room.
“Oh my god!” She gasped while reading over the short conversation. “Bakugou!?” She exclaimed while turning to phone to show Hagakure.
You didn’t even try to snatch it back because you knew full well that they would find out eventually.
“Oh my,” Hagakure finally spoke. “This is,” She paused and looked at you before looking at Ashido. “Is this?”
“L/N-kun and Bakugou flirting? Yes,absolutely” Ashido rapidly nodded before tossing the electronic device onto the bed. “I’m literally not even mad at him bashing us, especially me and Kiri. I’m just happy that he finally found a girl to like.”
“We should have known too,” Hagakure passionately added while you watched their conversation unfold. “They even went on a date today.”
“It wasn’t a date,” You finally interjected.
“Oh, it wasn’t a date!? Sure, it wasn’t,” Ashido replied with an overly mocking tone.
Hagakure was busting up laughing at this point and was unable to say anything else. Nevertheless, she was trying. “I can’t—I can’t—Oh my—"
“Guys!” You pouted, interrupted the two girls. You took this opportunity to grab your phone off the bed and take your place it into your sweater pocket. “Let me explain,” You pleaded.
Both girls suddenly stopped the smiles, giggles, and teasing. Silently, they sat in their respective seats and waited for you to explain yourself.
“So,” You began before taking in a deep breath, “Yes, I do like Bakugou—”
“I knew it!” Ashido exclaimed.
You squinted your eyes at her in critique. “You knew? Since when?” You questioned, knowing full well that she did not know. She had only known you for a week and only saw you and Bakugou interact once.
“Uhh, today?” She offered, “When you came home with him today?”
Hagkure snickered at Ashido’s response which received her a light smack from the pink girl.
“You guys ready to listen?” You asked, interrupting the snickering clients.
“Yes!” The replied in unison. They sat down and looked at you with anticipation.
“Okay, so,” You thought over your next words carefully. “I don’t know what it is about Bakugou that makes me like him. It’s kind of just everything?” You bit your lip, “Like, he’s super hot.”
“Ew,” Ashido groaned, “You can’t say that about him!”
Hagakure laughed even harder than before considering she wasn’t nearly as close to Bakugou as Ashido was. “He is pretty attractive, Ashido. You have to admit.”
“Stop!” Ashido exclaimed. “Bakugou is literally like a dad, he can’t be hot.”
You laughed at Ashido’s comment, her humor helping you relax more. “Just relax, Ashido! I’ll stop talking about how,” You paused, “You know, he is.”
“Thank you,” She replied.
You smiled before continuing your story. “I’ve talked to him a few times over the week, and it is obviously not perfect. Sometimes though, he just says all the right stuff and it makes my insides twist. Like today, we went to his costume designer’s place because I simply mentioned to him that I wanted to change my costume up a lot. And then he took me to one of his favorite food places.” You smiled at the memory. “It was a really nice day, but obviously not as cute or romantic as Ashido’s date.”
Ashido shrugged, “That’s just how Bakugou is though! Like, me and Kirishima have known each other for years! Bakugou is warming up to you after only a week while it took him months to even consider Kirishima a friend.”
“Very true,” Hagakure interjected. She was enjoying the story, but Ashido knew much more about Bakugou than her, making her opinions not as pertinent.
“I think,” Ashido continued, “You and Bakugou have a lot of potential. In fact, now that I know you like him, I can pay so much attention to your conversations. I’ll be like a spy, I can analyze everything!”
You chuckled at your friend’s excitement, feeling great about telling your friends about your crush on Bakugou. At the same time, though, it also felt silly having a crush on him. You bit your lip while telling yourself not to become too preoccupied with the blond when each of you cared more about becoming heroes.
“And those texts are the first thing I want to analyze!” Ashido explained, “So gimme your phone!”
“No, you don’t have to,” You bashfully replied, not sure if it would be right to allow them to see texts from Bakugou when he thinks it is just her.
“Aww, come on!” Hagakure pressured. “I saw some pretty flirty stuff in those texts!”
“Maybe,” You continued, “But Bakugou is a very private person, you know?”
“True,” Ashido spoke, “But he doesn’t have to know!” The grin on her face was wicked and you could tell she wouldn’t let this topic go.
“Okay,” You gave in, “I’m sure it’ll be fine.” You pulled your phone out of your pocket and unlocked it. The texts between you and Bakugou popped up and you passed the phone to her.
She began reading it out loud because it was difficult for all three of your to read it at once.
“First off,” She said, beginning her analysis, “Just him initiating a conversation like this with you is big! He almost never begins conversations.”
“Not only that,” Hagakure added, “But he was trying to find common ground with you. That can be pretty big for Bakugou.”
“And,” Ashido exclaimed, as if just thinking about this “He even said he doesn’t mind you talking about your personal life while he doesn’t like hearing about others.”
Hagakure giggled, “Ooh la la! Sounds like Bakugou is in love.” She emphasized the word ‘love’ and elongated it in a teasing tone.
Ashido began chuckling along with Hagakure while you felt your cheeks turn red. “You guys are just jumping into things,” You insisted while taking your phone back. “I’m just going to take things slow.”
Since their laughter had died down by now, the girls nodded along with you.
“I think that’s smart,” Ashido agreed. “It’s hard to know how he will react in a romantic situation.”
“You know what might be fun,” Hagakure begins. You each look to her, awaiting her thoughts. “Since we know Bakugou is still in there, we could try and sneak up to the room to hear what they are saying about you guys.”
Ashido immediately had a mischievous smile appear on her face. She almost looked like a Cheshire cat and you knew what was next. “Why would we have to sneak up to overhear them when we have L/N right here?”
“Oh my god, that is so true!” Hagakure exclaimed while shaking here arms in excitement. You could tell she turned to look at you and she asked, “So, what do you think?”
I think it’s a bad idea, but I really want to do it, you thought. You took a few beats to think over all the possibilities that could make it a good or bad idea. You looked to Ashido’s excited face and knew Hagakure must feel similar despite not being able to see her either.
“Okay,” You finally said, effectively giving in.
You almost talked yourself out of it. However, this wasn’t something you did often, it definitely wasn’t going to become a habit, and you were a teenager with a crush who simply wanted to have fun?
“Yes! Yes, yes yes!” Ashido exclaimed while Hagakure got up and began dancing around the room.
You laughed loudly at your two friends, enjoying their humorous actions.
“Okay, okay,” You sheepishly interrupted, trying to calm them down. “I’ll need you guys to chill a bit to hear.”
Ashido saluted you and Hagakure laughed before doing the same, at least you could tell from her moving clothes. The two girls then sat down and awaited your next words.
You, on the other hand, focused your energy on the voices surrounding you. Your head, at this point, didn’t hurt at all, and made you feel even more confident about your decision to take out your earbuds. You had gotten very used to hearing people’s thoughts, but not at all processing the words they were saying.
Suddenly, Kirishima’s prominent thoughts came into view.
Today was so great. I think I’ll take her bowling on our next date.
“Kirishima is planning your next date,” You mindlessly spoke, too focused to watch Ashido. You did, however, hear her shrill scream and the excited thoughts rushing through her head.
“What about Bakugou?” Hagakure asked.
You barked out a laugh once your were able to hear Bakugou;s thought clearly enough. “He’s thinking about how you and Kirishima are absolute idiots…but he’s still happy you guys got together.”
“That’s so sweet!” Ashido exclaimed.
“Aww, nothing about you?” Hagakure asked.
You shrugged your shoulders and focused more on your friends. “I really doubt that he talked to Kirishima about today.” You smiled to try and assure your friends. “I don’t need him to think about me all the time.”
Ashido smiled, her eyes filled with a kind of pity you weren’t sure you liked. Despite this, you knew she had good intentions at heart, and you grinned back as she patted your shoulder.
“Anyways,” Hagakure spoke up after a pregnant pause filled the room. “Let’s talk about something else, this conversation is totally not passing the Bechdel test and I am over it.”
You nodded in agreement and grabbed a handful of chips before sipping on your drink. “I could show you guys the sketches for my new hero costume,” You offered.
Ashido grinned widely, “Yes! You can put on your current one and show us the new sketches.”
“Oh god,” You exclaimed, “My current one is so ugly.”
“Well now you have to show us,” Hagakure laughed.
“Okay, okay! I’ll be right back then.” Happily, you stood up from your seat on the bed and made your way to your bed to grab your hero costume, computer, and sketchbook. A wide smile was spread across your face and you clumsily handled all of your supplies.
Today was a great day, you thought as another person’s own thought rang through your ears.
Fuck, why was today the best day I’ve had in a while? You heard Bakugou’s voice ring through your ears before you reopened Ashido’s door.

Day 3
Winter/Rings
This one is extra late oops lol @sihjrweek THIS ALSO TOOK ENTIRELY TOO LONG TO WRITE SO ITS NOT PROOFREAD SO IF U SEE A MISTAKE NO U DIDNT
***
"Anchan's birthday is in a week." Onodera Youko said, currently sitting at the dinner table across from her son, her husband absent.
Ritsu nodded as he pushed his food around on his plate. He was fully aware that March 14th, An's birthday, was fast approaching, but not for the reasons his mother was hoping. No, it was because March 14th was also White Day. Ritsu was both severely stressed and excited about it.
Ritsu planned on going on an aquarium date with his Senpai after school, thinking it'd be a little more special than their typical bookstore-pandaway combo. Not that Ritsu disliked this pattern at all! He just wanted to do something different for the holiday.
Then, they'd go back to Ritsu's house where the brunette would prepare dinner. His parents weren't going to be home since his dad always took his mother on a trip for White Day from the 14th to the 17th, so he figured it was the perfect time to finally invite Saga Senpai to his house! He had already started practicing cooking and baking the day after Valentine's Day. He figured he'd need as much practice as he could get, seeing as he had never done either of them before, but he was definitely improving!
Ritsu intended on making white chocolate chip cookies as a gift. Although his Senpai didn't particularly like sweets, it was tradition to give something white. So, he'd give the cookies in addition to some bitter dark chocolates that Saga was more likely to enjoy. Additionally, he'd give a white rose, since his Senpai had given him a red one and he thought it would be a sweet gesture to mirror. And...perhaps the most embarrassing and overkill gift idea of all: a jar full of paper origami stars that, when unfolded, have reasons he loves Saga written on them. His Senpai had asked him once before why he loved him and Ritsu simply didn't have the time or the courage to say all the reasons to his face, but he could definitely write them down!
"What do you plan on doing for her birthday?" Youko asked, interrupting Ritsu's thoughts about his string of plans.
"Oh, well, since it lands on a school day we were going to hangout over the weekend instead." Ritsu said. "But, I'm not really sure what to get her..." He admitted.
"Why don't you just spend time with her after school? It's not as special if you celebrate after her birthday's already passed. Plus, it's White Day. She did give you something on Valentine's day, didn't she?" Youko said. She recalled Ritsu coming home on Valentine's day, giddy and flushed as he held tupperware full of homemade chocolates. An was really such a sweet girl, going through the trouble of making the chocolates herself.
Ritsu felt a swirl of dread start to form in his stomach, recognizing his mother's tone. "Yes, but mother-"
"Its the polite and gentlemanly thing to do. Imagine; not spending White Day with your fiancée and to make matters worse, blowing off her birthday as well!" Youko said.
"Mother-"
"And as for what you can get her, I have a great idea." Youko smiled brightly. "Promise rings! Such a cute and meaningful gift, she'd love it." Youko continued.
"Anchan and I aren't a couple!" Ritsu did not mean to raise his voice, but his frustrations of being talked over got the best of him.
Youko's cheerful demeanor left her. "Don't be ridiculous, Ritsu. You and Anchan are a perfect match. She is a lovely, intelligent, kind girl from a fine background and she undoubtedly adores you. What more could you ask for?"
"Mother, I..." Ritsu trailed off and frowned. "I just-I don't like her that way!"
"You won't even give it a chance! Who could possibly be a better fit for you than Anchan?"
"I'm only fifteen, why do we have to start talking about marriage now?" Ritsu desperately wished his mother would let this go, but his mother was just as stubborn as he was.
"Because your future is important and should matter to you, Ritsu." Youko said. "You are spending White Day with Anchan and that's final. If you'd like, I can help you pick out a pair of promise rings." She offered, the happy tilt in her voice returning as she tried to force the conversation back on track.
Ritsu just mumbled something in assent in order to stop this awful conversation, fully intending on avoiding that little ring shopping trip. Let his mother believe that he would spend White Day with Anchan. What she didn't know wouldn't hurt her.
Ritsu tried to act normal around his Senpai for the rest of the week, (well, his version of normal, which was already a certain level of nervousness) but he could hardly contain himself.
"You're being weird." Saga commented on March 12th. Exactly 1 day, 8 hours, 14 minutes and 25 seconds before 12 A.M. on White Day. Yes, Ritsu was counting.
"S-S-Sorry, I just-um-I-I had something I wanted to ask you." Okay, this was it, deep breaths Onodera, deep breaths. "I was wondering if you w-wanted to...spendWhiteDaywithme?" Ritsu squeezed his eyes shut tight as he waited for an answer.
"...What the hell?"
Well, that wasn't a good sign.
"I thought we were already spending White Day together." Saga said. "Or did you forget what you said?"
"N-n-no, of course not, the opposite actually, I've been thinking about White Day nonstop and what I should do, what would be a fun date, what sort of presents I should get you-"
Saga glanced around the library to make sure they were alone as Ritsu rambled before he cut him off with a gentle kiss.
Ritsu blinked a few times, dazed and completely embarrassed, but undeniably happy.
"So, tell me these ideas you've been thinking about 'nonstop'." Saga echoed.
"Well, I want some of it to be a surprise." Ritsu said after he managed to get his thoughts back in order. "But I thought it'd be fun if after school we went to an aquarium together and then...my house for dinner."
"Your house?" Saga was surprised to say the least, his normally stoic face for once betraying him.
"U-Unless that's not okay?" Ritsu said, automatically assuming the worst, as he typically did. "We don't have to go to my house, we can do something else-"
"No, you can't take back the offer now. I'm coming to your house." Saga said quickly. He was endlessly curious about Ritsu's home and more specifically Ritsu's room, so he'd be damned if he let this opportunity slip by him.
Ritsu smiled a little and nodded before he became shy. "And um...my parents won't be home...s-so..."
"Ahhhhh, I see. Who knew you were such a pervert?" Saga teased, but his straight face and serious tone gave no hint to his playfulness.
If it were possible for humans to combust into flames on the spot, Ritsu would have done so. The younger teen shook his head vehemently as he made frantic and wild hand gestures. "No! I-I didn't mean it like-I'm not-!"
"I was just messing with you." Saga smirked a little bit. Normally he didn't really joke around like this, but Ritsu's reactions were priceless. Even in the beginning of their relationship Saga would never say something like that, but Ritsu managed to get deeper and deeper into his heart every day and break down more and more walls.
Ritsu's whole face was red, including the very tips of his ears. He looked away out of embarrassment, not knowing what to say.
Chu
Ritsu swore his body somehow heated up even more after Saga leaned forward to press a kiss on the back of his head.
"I'm looking forward to White Day. It'll be fun." Saga said. "I'm expecting to be impressed."
"Y-You're teasing me again." Ritsu complained.
'It's not my fault you make it so easy.' Saga thought.
White Day was sure to be fun this year and hopefully for many years to come.
...Or maybe not.
The day had started off fine, completely normal in fact. When Ritsu woke up his parents were already gone. They always left early in the morning.
Ritsu was completely exhausted. He had stayed up all night, excited and anxious about White Day, but Ritsu's exhaustion caused him to miss the small box and a note left for him in the kitchen.
It was such an innocent item with good intentions behind it.
It was a thoughtful gift that would surely be cherished.
It was going to ruin everything.
Ritsu had already made the cookies last night and had the dark chocolate, keeping both of them stored in his kitchen. He'd also purchased a white rose the previous day, telling his mother it was for Anchan when she asked about it. It probably didn't help to feed into the insane fantasy his mother had, but he didn't have any other excuses. The jar of stars was also hidden in his room underneath his bed. He'd spent at least 4 or 5 days making them all. He planned on giving Saga these gifts in privacy later today.
As the day went on, Ritsu started to think that maybe it would have been better for him just to cut class since he wasn't able to focus at ALL! An agonizing 7 hours later and he was released from his class, hurrying out front where he and Saga had agreed to meet after school.
Ritsu beat the older teen to the entrance, waiting for him as patiently as he could, unable to contain his bright smile once he saw him
'Damn it, why does he have to smile at me like that? I don't know if I'm going to survive today.' Saga thought as he walked over. "Hey."
"Hi, Senpai! H-Happy White Day..." Ritsu said, the latter half coming out a little quieter so no passing students would hear.
"No gift?" Saga didn't actually care about a present, excited to just spend the afternoon with Ritsu, but he couldn't pass the opportunity to mess with him.
"S-Senpai, don't tease me!" Ritsu complained with a pout. Shit, that expression wasn't good for Saga's heart. "They're at my house. But come on, let's go!" Ritsu's excitement returned to him quickly as he set off. Saga followed.
The aquarium was a little busy, so it didn't give Saga many opportunities to sneak attack Ritsu with PDA, but he still enjoyed himself. Of course, he watched Ritsu more than he watched the actual animals, but it was still a good choice for a date spot.
When they finally did have a moment alone, Saga reached out, gently taking Ritsu's hand into his. "Thanks for bringing me here."
Ritsu blushed, but felt electrified by the touch. "Of course, Senpai. I'm glad you're having fun." He smiled.
Saga couldn't deny he was enjoying himself, but what he was REALLY looking forward to was finally being in Ritsu's house! He had his own preconceived notions about Ritsu and how he lived, so he was curious about how right or wrong he was. And the hormonal teenager in him wanted to do it in Ritsu's bed.
But, when they finally left the aquarium and arrived at Ritsu's home, Saga wished that he had jumped into a damn fish tank instead.
Sitting on his Kouhai's porch was the girl who had given Ritsu chocolate on Valentine's day.
"Richan!" She stood when spotting them, looking angry. "Where have you been?" She asked, putting her hands on her hips.
"A-Anchan? What are you doing here?" Ritsu asked, genuinely confused.
"Didn't your mother talk to you? She called my mother and set up for us to spend the day together! For my birthday! We were supposed to meet after school, but you never showed so I came here, but you obviously weren't home." She frowned and crossed her arms.
"No! My mother didn't tell me anything about this." Ritsu said, going up to the front door and taking out his house key to unlock it.
Saga cleared his throat.
"Oh-uh-Anchan, this is Saga Masamune, Saga Senpai, this is Kohinata An." Ritsu hastily introduced them. Crap, this was bad, this was so bad!
"I think I recognize you...you and Richan hang out together at the library, right?" An said.
"Hai." Saga responded blandly.
"Well, it's nice to meet you." An said politely.
"Same." Saga looked away from her and An decided to ignore his rudely aloof nature. A friend of Richan's was a friend of hers, after all.
"Um, well, come in I guess..." Ritsu said before going inside, Anchan following.
What. The. Fuck. This girl already had her chance on Valentine's Day and, according to Ritsu, was rejected. Now she was going to interrupt White Day too? Saga was absolutely pissed, though he tried not to let it show as he walked inside.
"Um, I was going to make dinner, if you want to sit in the living room and relax..." Ritsu said awkwardly. He was with his two favorite people, so this shouldn't have been as bad as it was, but oh boy was it terrible.
"I'll help!" An offered with a smile.
Ritsu tried to insist that it was okay and that she was a guest and that she didn't have to, but An ignored him and marched into the kitchen. Ritsu couldn't do much other than shoot Saga an apologetic look before following her. Saga decided to trail behind him, not wanting the girl to have even a moment of alone time with HIS boyfriend.
"Hey, Richan, what's this?" An said, regarding the box on the table.
"Oh, I don't know. I guess my parents left it this morning before they left." Ritsu picked up the note and started to read it. His mother detailed the plans she had set up for An and Ritsu today in the note and also explained that inside the box was...
"Rings? Are these what I think they are Richan?" An asked after opening the box, her curiosity having gotten the better of her. She plucked the note out of Ritsu's hands, the boy frozen in terror as he realized what was happening. "They are! Promise rings! I'll have to thank your mother for getting them for us, they're so cute! Let's put them on!" An beamed.
SNAP
Saga turned and stormed out of the kitchen, Ritsu breaking out of his shock when he heard the front door open and slam shut.
Ritsu quickly ran after Saga, ignoring An's concern as she followed him out. "Senpai, wait!" He called after him, somehow managing to catch up.
"What the fuck, Ritsu?!" Saga whipped around to face him. Oh God, Ritsu had never seen him so angry. "You told me she was just a friend, that you rejected her!"
"She is! I did!" Ritsu insisted. "She's just a friend!"
"Then why the hell is your mom buying the two of you fucking promise rings?! On fucking White Day too!"
Ritsu started to tear up, but he couldn't cry. He needed to explain everything before he lost the person he loved. If he started crying then he wouldn't be able to get a word out.
"W-We're in an arranged marriage." He admitted, feeling so ashamed for not telling his Senpai the truth earlier. "But I don't like An like that! Its a fantasy created by our parents and I've told my mother over and over again that I won't go through with it! A-An and I are not a couple and we're not getting married!" Ritsu insisted.
'Please, please, please believe me, he has to believe me, please.' Ritsu silently begged.
Saga looked between Ritsu and An, who was standing on the porch. He clenched his jaw, shaking his head and refusing to meet Ritsu's eyes. "Looks like you're the only one who thinks that way." He turned and walked off again, Ritsu staring helplessly as he did. The image of his Senpai blurred with tears before they finally started to fall.

“Levi, good you’re here.” Erwin spoke, his hands held a bunch of parchment. Levi rolled his eyes and stood in front of the blonde’s desk.
“You called?” Levi’s sarcastic voice broke the silence, Erwin chuckled a little looking up at the irritated man. “Don’t need to be so tight, Levi.” The black-haired man sighed and dropped his head before looking back up. “Get to the point, eyebrows.”
“You’ve been assigned to arrest a group of thieves in wall Sina.” Levi’s eyes slightly widened, “Why me? Why not the military police or some crap?” Erwin shook his head, “They couldn’t catch them.” Levi scoffed and kissed his teeth, “bunch of lazy shits. Fine, I’ll do it.” He grumbled a few words under his breath as he left Erwin’s quarters.
“Wait- Levi-” The man didn’t bother listening to Erwin call him back, annoyed that he had to do something as small as capturing a bunch of thieves. He walked into the mess hall, where his squad sat talking with each other. “Oi, get your asses ready, we’re going to wall Sina.” The man kissed his teeth once again as he walked away from his saluting squad.
“Captain, why are we going to the Stohess District anyways?” Petra asked, riding their horse to Stohess District. “Apparently there’s a group of thieves so good, not even the MPs could catch them, it’s up to us to do so.” his squad lets out sounds of suprise, “Wait, if the MPs couldn’t catch them, what makes them sure we’ll be able to?” Eld argued.
“Me.” Levi answered, not looking back at the dirty blonde from his horse, Eld deadpanned as the rest of Levi’s squad snickered and tried their hardest not to laugh.

“Captain, we’ve been waiting for so long! What if they were just pulling out leg and we went here for nothing?” Oruo complained, leaning back against barrels of ale, waiting to be sold and opened.
“Shut your mouth and observe, Bozad.” Levi growled back, annoyed with the complaints the boy has been spouting for the past ten minutes, they observed around, watching the waitresses tend from outside the tavern, the loud cheers and wails from inside the old burned out inn.
Eld and Gunther stayed sitting by the floor, fiddling with their sword handles or making sure they have enough gas, if needed to fly around to get their mission over with. “Er- Captain?- Maybe Oruo was-“ Petra was silenced by Levi’s hand going up, his blue-gray eyes focused on a certain commotion with a neighbouring inn.
“Help!- Thieves! Thieves!” foreign-dressed people started piling out of the tavern, holding bags of bread and bottles of ale and wine, their waists carried bags of gold coins, probably pick-pocketed from the rich men that drunk until they were tipsy and toppling over themselves.
“There! Pull up your hoods and arrest every single one! Let’s go brats!” Levi’s voice sounded loud and boomed with every word, his pale hand reached for his hood, pulling it over this face and running to grapple his hooks onto a building and go after the thieves.
He counted heads earlier from when they ran out the tavern, seven he remembered, he knew that each of his squad would at least get one into custody by themselves so he only needed to worry about catching the rest. He watched from up above their actions and their tips and tricks, avoiding upcoming traffic, or avoiding carriages that carried a bunch of the finest goods wall Sina could get.
He could hear the whirring of strings in his ears as he unclasped his hooks from the building and rolled onto a top of a building, running as fast as he can to keep up with the big group. He glanced down, his eyes widening as the group of seven dismissed into groups of two or three, he grunted and turned back, “Petra! Gunther! Three went to the Left, arrest those thieves and help the others if needed, go!” He yelled out as he looked for a solution to round the thieves as fast as he can.
The thieves looked up, their eyes widening as he saw Levi’s figure get closer and closer, knowing if they don’t do anything to keep him from getting closer, they’ll be arrested and be punished by the king. “Captain! One of them’s getting too close!” One of them called out, a groan was heard, you pulled down your hood and passed your stolen goods onto the rest of the crew, holding onto the hilt of your sword.
“Get to the ship, help the rest if you need to and for the last fucking time, don’t look back!” You warned, stopping right in front of Levi, Levi growled and pulled out his swords, clashing right with yours, both of you held twin-blades, one pair was curved and the other, was detachable.
Your swords both clashed and clinged as you tried your best to fight off the short black-haired man, you observed the man’s next actions as he jumped away, holding his blades in defence. Levi hooked his claws onto the building behind you, gaining momentum before letting go and trying to slash you from up top, you watched as he spun around, you placed your sword up, defending your upper body while your other hand acted as a defence.
“I know these moves, you an Ackerman, kid?” You teased, Levi deadpanned and gripped his swords tighter out of annoyance and offence at being called a kid. He knew of his short appearance and he blames his malnutrition as a kid for it. He kissed his teeth and went to move in to try and corner you.
You and Levi both clashed swords once again, bystanders watched behind barrels in fear and curiousity, to the bystander eye, both you and Levi fought like it was a dance, you moved away and took defence in some turns while Levi took turns in offence. Finally both you and him stayed in a stance, fighting each other for the offence.
Your swords both shook as it screeched as it was being pushed against each other, “What’s it to you that I’m an Ackerman?” Levi asked, his teeth gritted as he tried to fight off your strength while piling his on you. “Nothing, your clan just really..” you leaned closer to his face, “really,” you smiled a mocking grin. “really, annoy me.” Levi’s eyes widened in anger and let out a yell of frustration, pulling his swords back to slam it down onto your figure.
Of course, being a thief has it’s perks, you easily slipped out of the situation, you knew you could’ve done it earlier, but deciding only now that you’ve bought your crew enough time to get back, you slipped away from Levi’s gaze as you started running and returning your twin blades into their respective scabbards.
Levi groaned in disappointment, he couldn’t believe he let you get to him, he shook his head to striving himself to focus back on you as he grappled his hooks once again onto the buildings. Hooking left and right, he stared down at your running figure a little ways past him, he glanced at the scene ahead, making a plan that has him a few steps ahead of you.
He assumed that the large ship docked at the rivers were yours, he constructed a plan is his head, which seem to have a hundred percent possibility to work, until he saw his squad all tied up into a circle.
He unhooked himself from a building and landed down onto the docks, where fishers and merchants came to wander, selling their stuff, a few gasps and loud shrieks where made, due to the unexpected landing.
“Hey, Ackerman.” You grinned, standing right In front of his crew, where they decorated you their glares and filled your ears with muffled noises. “Cut the crap thief. You and your crew better surrender to us, and maybe we’ll go easy on you.” Levi spat out, you laughed softly. “I have a name you know, let’s be bygones, eh?” Levi rolled his eyes and kept his guard up, holding his swords defensively. “The name’s Reader, I don’t want to have to keep calling you Ackerman.”
Levi kissed his teeth once again and scoffed. “Bygones my ass. You’ve been stealing in wall Sina for years, don’t you got better shit to do?” He shot back, you clicked your tongue and walked towards Levi, in return he put his blades up higher and started standing his ground
“Well, wall Sina’s got a bunch richo’s and I can’t really turn down such a under-guarded part of the district.” You explained, making weird hand gestures with a dagger in your hand, “Eat the rich, right?” You gave him a smile.
You slipped away from Levi’s gaze once again, he spun around in a circle looking for your figure, he felt something slide on his back, he felt your breath on his neck as he froze, almost losing his grip on his blades.
“Go fuck yourself.” Levi let out an insult in a breathy tone. As you quickly unclipped his cloak, you smiled devilishly and pulled back, as his cloak fell to the ground.
“Wow, Levi Ackerman of the scouts, I didn’t think you were this smoking hot honestly.” You checked out Levi’s figure as he groaned and slammed his sword onto you once again, you quickly defended with your dagger, leaning back onto a wooden pillar as you effortlessly pushed your strength onto his twin swords.
“Don’t need to be so aggressive, we’re having a conversation, Levi.” You batted your eyelashes innocently, he finally had enough and huffed. He threw his sword right at his squad, releasing the blade from the hold of the sword and replacing it.
The blade flew and cut the rope that held his squad down, Eld stood up and yelled out, “Help the captain!” Petra and Oruo yelled in agreement as they both flew past Gunther and Eld in hopes to corner Reader and her crew.
You sighed softly and shook and dropping your head, you raised it again for a moment, a giddy smile painted on your face. “Ah, come on, Levi! Ganging up on a helpless woman like me?” You teased as you acted more innocently, irritating Levi more and more by the second.
Levi clicked his tongue and stayed quiet as he let his squad corner you. You pouted, and placed your dagger back in its scabbard as you leaned back onto the wooden pillar and glanced around at the members who were in a defensive stance.
“Ahh, what can I do? I guess it can’t be helped then,” you complained, you sent a subtle signal to a crew-mate who was watching over the whole dispute between the scouts and the captain of the thieves. “Shut up and accept your arrest, thief.” Your ears perked up at the honey coloured female advancing towards you. “For fuck’s sake, I’m not a thief, stop calling me one, lass.” You pointed at her with your pointer and middle finger.
“I’m a pirate, ever heard of em?” You sarcastically asked, making eye contact with a few of the squad embers as they looked at you with confused expressions. “a pi-what?” Oruo asked, dropping his guard out of confusion, looking around to see if anyone else was as confused as he was.
Levi angrily pushed his way through his squad members, “Who gives a damn?! Arrest the thief, idiots!” He pointed his blade directly at you as you stepped back as Levi’s squad started to advance towards you, step by step. You scowled, looking over to your crew-mate who understood your expression and brought down a rope, for you to hang on and get on the ship with.
You grinned as you saw the rope come from behind Levi, you ran towards him, in which resulted in defending himself, your rough hands barely grabbed the rope, you glanced at Levi, daring to be more mischievous and placing a chaste kiss on his cheek, in which he spun around quickly, wiping away the slimy substance from his cheekbones.
“I believe that we’ve had a little too much fun, and now are behind schedule, I do appreciate playing around with you and your squad, Mr. Levi.” You landed on the edge of your ship as you started to depart, Levi knew better than to follow you into your own territory, so he stayed on the docks, scowling at you and your ship as you bowed, and gave him a teasing wave. “Maybe, take me on a date before bringing me back as a prize, eh, Levi?” You called out as you watched the Levi squad sigh out of exhaustion and disappointment.
Levi stayed scowling at your ship as it departed, he the wind start to dry the left over saliva from your poorly-done cheek kiss, he reach his hand up, slightly wiping it away, “Tch, I’ll definitely make you pay for dirtying me and my cloak next time.” He grumbled out, feeling a ghost of a smile on his face. “Just you wait, Captain Reader.” Levi walked away from the docks as the rest of his squad followed, not wanting to return to wall Rose to report of their failure to capture the thieves of wall SIna.

Just you and me pt.6 - FINALE
This is the final part of Just you and me. I really appreciate everyone who stuck with it this far, it’s been really nice to actually finish a series for once in my life lol so thank you for sticking with me x
@ashwarren32 here’s your tag girl :)
*
Three weeks have passed since your meeting with James and it was staggering just how fast things had happened since then. The same day as your conversation in the café James had already organised an agreement that would provide you with enough money every month to support Noah on top of your meagre salary. He’d even found a small apartment close to your work in the city with plenty of excellent daycare centres and schools around it, and buses that would make visiting your parents easy.
In a fit of frustration and misery one night, and after a few glasses of wine, you’d even blocked Shawn’s number. He’s in your past now, you could only move forward.
You just wish that Noah had taken it a bit easier. Every morning when he’s asked if Shawn was coming around that day and you’d have to tell him no, he would ball his eyes out and it took everything in you not to break down next to him.
Every tiny thing set him off, vegetables, getting dressed, going to day-care, you going to work, his grandma trying to take him to the store, being put to bed. You were relieved to think that soon you would be in your own place where your mum wouldn’t be around to shoot you ‘I told you so’ looks every time her grandson acted out.
Noah was in the middle of another tantrum as you tried to pack his room up. You were standing among scattered boxes and open drawers with a toddler sat on his bed pulling every toy you packed into a box out again and throwing it on the floor.
“Noah, please, I’m trying to pack it all up. Do you want to leave those toys here and take nothing to the new house?” you ask, exasperated.
“No! I don’t wanna go!” he yells, crossing his arms stubbornly.
“You have to, baby,” you tell him, scooping up some of his favourite books and placing them at the bottom of the box instead.
“I don’t want to leave Grandma and Grandpa! I don’t want to go to a new home!” he shrieks and pushes the box over. It topples over and the contents fly across the floor. Noah drops down and crosses his legs, burying his head in his hands.
“Here, I’ll take him outside so you can get something packed.” Your mum strides into the room and lifts Noah up, carrying him swiftly out of the room.
It’s your turn to bury your head in your hands in defeat. You take a deep breath to calm yourself and continue packing what you know he needs the most. It’s not even a minute later that you hear a soft knock on the door.
“Hang on, don’t let him in until I get the boxes out,” you call to your mum, knowing she’s the only one home. It’s weird that she knocked though, you think. Closing the now full box, you scoop it up and turn to carry it to your room and then nearly drop it when you see who’s standing in the doorway.
“Shawn,” you exhale. It feels like the air has been kicked out of you. You never thought you’d see him again, and here he was in your childhood home looking at you like he was breaking at the seams.
His hair was tousled like he’d been running his hands through it, and his shirt was crumpled and textured with wrinkles. His brown eyes were ringed with deep, bruise-like shadows and they were trained on you, filled with a steely determination that made your breath hitch.
“What are you doing here?” you manage to ask, feeling like you were talking around a tongue tied in knots.
“I couldn’t get you on the phone,” he answers.
“Sorry,” you say though you don’t know why.
“Y/n, I’ve made a complete mess of everything.” He takes a bold step in your direction. You back yourself away. “I trusted all the wrong people and it’s made me lose some of the best things I’ve ever had in my life.”
“Shawn, I’m done with all of these games,” you sigh, turning back to the box you’re packing. “One minute you believe me and want Noah and me in your life, the next we’re scheming to steal your money and we’re being told you’re trying to get rid of us. I’ve had enough.”
He seems to notice the disorder of the room for the first time, eyes sweeping over the boxes and bare bookshelves.
“Nick said James had sent you money,” Shawn mumbles almost inaudibly but it snags your attention.
“What?” you say, forgetting the stuffed toys you’re trying to sort. “What does Nick know about all of this?”
“More than I did,” Shawn mutters, irritated. “Or at least, he found out before I did.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Nick overheard James talking to a bank the other day, he was organising money to be sent to you every month,” he explains. “He knew something weird was going on with James the day you came to the studio but he thought he was just being paranoid. And then he heard that phone call and another one to one of his friends at another company.
“He told them he’d finally managed everything. He’d gotten rid of the kid and the ex, screwed with all of our heads until we ruined ourselves. He said he’d thought those messages he’d sent all those years ago would be enough to make you disappear.”
“James?” you whisper, dumbstruck. “He sent those messages?”
“I don’t know how I didn’t see it all before. He’s the only person who had complete access to my phone when you sent those messages. He must have seen me put my passcode in and used it to unlock the phone when he saw you were calling.”
“But why? Why would anyone do that?”
“Easy, he wants to make as much money off me as possible. A family is only going to get in the way. Why would he let my life be taken over by a child when he can stop it and continue having me at his beck and call with nothing tying me down?” he spits the words at the floor, his faces stony and eyes flashing bitterly. “That sick bastard screwed us around so he could keep using me as a cash cow.”
He runs his hand through his hair angrily and you gasp.
“Shawn, what happened to your hand?” you exclaim, rushing forward and taking hold of his palm. The knuckles of his right hand are split and red, the beginnings of a bruise forming on his fingers and the back of his hand. “Please don’t tell me you hit him.”
“Just a wall,” he reassures you with a wry smile. “I wish it had been him though.”
“Don’t talk like that, it’s good it wasn’t.”
“That man stole my sons first few years from me. He took away my chance to be dad Noah deserved. He kept me away from you when you needed me most. I would personally beat the shit out of him for the rest of his life.” His gaze is filled with such fierce honesty it leaves you breathless.
It seemed so clear now, how obviously you’d been manipulated. James had found out every one of your insecurities and exploited them so much that you’d forgotten all logic and reason. You were embarrassed by how easily you’d been backed into a corner.
“You never actually believed I cheated on you, did you?” you mumble, hating the vulnerability in your voice.
“You’re the most loyal person I know, I could never really believe that,” he murmurs tenderly. “Will you forgive me for even asking it, though?”
“Just don’t do it again,” you warn him. “I’m sorry I let him make me think you not knowing who sent the messages was a sign you didn’t care. And that I let him talk me into running away instead of talking to you about it all.”
Shawn smiles and it’s like a ray of light breaking through the storm clouds, a sign that maybe, finally, things would work out.
“What happens to him now?” You ask.
“He’s been fired,” Shawn tells you. “I have a new manager who thinks family is equally as important as work and completely supports me in wanting to be involved with my son.” He takes a step forward, his massive legs carrying him halfway across your small bedroom. “And with you. If you’ll have me.”
Your heart melts. You think you’re about to explode with shock and happiness until one thought brings you crashing down.
“What about Abigail?” he doesn’t even falter.
“She’s an amazing woman, but we agreed that maybe we’re not really as compatible as we thought. She’s not ready to be with someone with a child,” he informs you, pulling you closer to him with his injured hand that you’re still holding.
“It’s as easy as that?” you reply, stunned.
“It is,” he murmurs, pressing his forehead to yours.
“But-“ he cuts you off by bringing his lips down on yours. You inhale sharply but quickly forget yourself in the warm touch of his skin against yours. Your mouths mould together like they were crafted to, like this moment was the divine wish of some great entity, laid out in the stars. His hands find their way into your hair, gentle and insistent all at once. God, you’d missed this.
“I swear, if you pull any of the shit you’ve pulled in the last few months again, you’ll be out on your ass in the street,” you warn him. He laughs against your lips.
“I know,” he answers, pressing another kiss to your mouth.
“I’m serious,” you resist.
“I know,” he repeats, meeting your eyes. His are so happy and full of love it takes your breath away all over again. It’s you who kisses him this time.
“Shawn!” comes a tiny, joyful shriek and a weight crashes into both of your legs. Noah grips Shawn's leg, a beaming smile taking over his face for the first time in weeks. “You’re back!” he says ecstatically.
“I am, buddy,” Shawn tells him, reaching down to lift him up from under his arms. “But I think you can start calling me Dad now, little guy. What do you think, Mum?” he asks, resting the toddler on his hip. Both of them look at you, one hopeful, the other slightly confused but giddy with happiness.
“I don’t see why not,” you agree.
“Dad?” Noah asks, looking inquisitively at Shawn. “You’re my Dad? Like Mike's dad?”
“Yeah, like that except I’m your dad.”
“Is he your dad too?” Noah asks you. You can’t stop yourself from laughing, so filled with happiness you can’t contain it.
“No baby, he’s just your dad.”
“Oh, ok.”
“I promise I’ll be a cool one too,” Shawn adds, to Noah’s glee. Then he turns to you, wiping away a tear you didn’t even know you had shed and winding his free arm around you to pull you against him. “And I promise you, from here on out, no one else is coming between us. It’s just you and me and him.”
the end.

Hi I was wondering if you could maybe do headcanon RFA + V + Saeran + Vanderwood reacting to secret agent/ undercover agent/ spy MC? Please and Thanks
Hi! I’m so sorry this took so long ◔ ⌣ ◔ I hope you like it! :)
Yoosung
He’s walking home from a night out with his LOLOL friends when he sees you crossing the street
But you’re dressed like Jaehee (office attire) and you’re walking behind this older guy in a business suit as well
Which struck him as odd because didn’t you say you worked from home?
When you turn your head and your eyes meet, Yoosung raises his hand and waves at you
But you pretend like you didn’t see him and walk away
He’s crushed and he’s wondering if he did anything wrong
When you get home he’s waiting for you and he starts asking you all these questions
Mostly he’s worried if he’s done anything wrong this cutie
So you decide to tell him that you’re a secret agent and you were undercover
OMG his eyes are so big
And he thinks you’re so cool like my girlfriend is a freaking spy!!!!
At first he loves the idea of you doing super cool spy stuff
But when you come home with cuts and bruises, he’d be so worried and he’d realize how dangerous your job actually is
He’s afraid that one day you’ll disappear without a trace (because isn’t that what spies do? :( ) but he stocks up on bandages and medicine for you
He won’t stop you from doing your job but he’ll have a LOT of sleepless nights worrying about you whenever you’re on a mission, wondering if he’ll get to tell you he loves you one more time
Zen
He decides to prepare a surprise for you at your apartment
He knows you have work in the morning so he takes a day off from rehearsals so he could go to your apartment and prepare the surprise
In the middle of putting rose petals in your room, he hears the apartment door close and he comes out and sees you coming in
Covered in dust and dirt, with cuts and bruises on your body
“Babe!!! God, what happened? I need to take you to the hospital!”
You weren’t expecting to see Zen in your house and you honestly didn’t want to tell him that you were a secret agent but he wouldn’t stop insisting and fussing over you so you sat him down and told him
He listens intently, not interrupting but not saying anything too
And you’re afraid he might leave you after finding out
But you also consider it a good idea because he’s an actor and it’s so hard to keep a low profile whenever you’re him, making him an easier target for your enemies
When you’re done, he pulls you into his arms and hold you tight
“Babe, I love you no matter what. But I can’t stand seeing you get hurt.”
You refused to be taken to the hospital because your enemies would be waiting there so he learns proper first aid so he can take care of you at home
Insists that you stay with him in his apartment so he can protect you and take care of you at all times
Deep down he’s impressed at how much of a badass his girlfriend is, but you’re his princess and he wishes nothing more than for you to quit your job and live a life without danger
He would try to get you to quit and would ask help from Seven or Jumin for that to happen
Jumin
This man insisted on having bodyguards with you no matter where you went so it was impossible to keep it a secret from him
One night, while having dinner, he accidentally topples over the wine bottle
Before it could hit the floor though, you catch it and Jumin blinks, surprised at your lightning-fast reflexes (like that scene from Mr. and Mrs. Smith)
And he just stares at you and you decide to finally tell him that you’re a secret agent
He immediately tells you not to pursue that career anymore and it may come off as him being controlling and cold, but this man really loves you and can’t stand the thought of you getting your hands dirty with undercover work or God forbid, you having to kill someone
Actually you’re a pretty good shot and your kill count would give him a heart attack
Now he knows why Saeyoung would always put an apple on top of Yoosung’s head and ask you to shoot it whenever you guys get together ;;;
You confess that you actually work for the same agency as Saeyoung
ಠ╭╮ಠ
“MC, I must insist that you do not pursue this career anymore.”
“Hoho~ Are you jealous of Saeyoung, Jumin?”
“Of course not. I simply cannot let you do such dangerous tasks with those beautiful hands any longer. Please know that I will take care of you to the best of my abilities, so you do not need to put yourself at risk anymore.”
Lol yes he’s jealous
Of course you agree to quit
You loved your job, but it wasn’t worth putting Jumin at more risk for
He literally buys your freedom from the agency and asks them not to bother his wife anymore
He still asks you to keep the bodyguards with you at all times
But it made him sleep better knowing his wife was capable of defending herself
Saeyoung
Someone requested a similar scenario but it’s a fanfic and I haven’t gotten around to writing it yet ;;; I promise to post the link here once it’s done though, I hope it’s okay with you!
V
He’s out on a photography trip without you because you told him you had work and he’s contemplating on calling you
But when he zooms in on the road on the side of the mountain across him (hello bazooka lenses)
He’s surprised to see you there, running away
He panics when he zooms in on the man running after you but he knew he wouldn’t make it in time
He tries to remain calm and to rationalize why you were there and why you would be running away from someone and why you didn’t tell him
And then it hits him
Why you and Saeyoung are so alike
You’re both spies
V would then wait for you anxiously at home, silently praying that you were fine and that you would come home to him
And when you do he’s so relieved he’ll probably hug you tight and not let you go for some time
He talks to you about it and you finally tell him everything, apologizing for making him worry so much
But then that’s the reason why you didn’t tell him, because he’s been through so much already, you just didn’t want to hurt him or make him constantly worry about you
He wouldn’t ask you to quit, but he wants you to be completely honest with him
Probably asks Saeyoung to develop a tracker or device that lets him know where you are and whether or not you’re safe
He loves everything about you and will try to be as supportive as possible, but this man will probably stay up all night worrying about you whenever you’re not in bed beside him
Saeran
Whenever you went on long trips for your job, you’d tell Saeran not to worry
But how could he not worry when you don’t answer his calls and texts and barely log into the chatroom?
He knew something was up, he just didn’t want to seem overbearing or nosy so he never asked
But when he’s cuddling you as you sleep, he notices a fresh scar behind your neck and he immediately knows
His brother was the a secret agent too
So when you wake up he confronts you about it
And you two get into a fight because how could you so this to him? It was bad enough he had to worry about Saeyoung’s safety, now the love of his life was getting herself into dangerous situations as well?
What if one day something happened to you and his brother? He’d be left alone in this world
There would be a lot of screaming, a lot of words you both didn’t mean to say (mostly from him though), and a lot of crying
“Saeran, it’s not that easy. They would rather kill me than let me walk away with sensitive information.”
“I don’t care. I’ll find a way to get you out of it.”
“Saeran, I can’t let you do this. I don’t want to put you in danger too.”
“Well it’s too late for that now, isn’t it? I walked into danger with you when I let myself love you.”
In the end you decide to quit the agency and Saeran and Saeyoung helps you create a new identity for yourself so your agency can never find you
Saeran would feel bad, but the thought of losing you was worse so he would stand by his decision of asking you to quit
He would also try to coax you to tell him all the people who’s hurt you before
“Baby no” ;;;
Vanderwood
You told him you were going on a trip with your friends and he was fine with it since he had a mission lined up too
But when he saw you during his mission, he instantly knew
The lies, the cover-ups, your knowledge on weapons
He should have known you were a secret agent as well
He kind of stalks you for that mission, making sure you were okay but when he saw you take out a few of his teammates, he gets turned on swoons because his girlfriend could kick ass
But when you both get home, he confronts you about it and you confess that you’re working for the rival of his agency
You tried to get out of it when you met Vanderwood, but the agency threatened to kill you because you knew too much
He holds you close and vows to end them
He knows how hard it is and doesn’t want a life of an agent for you
Also cannot imagine having to live with constantly thinking if you’d come home to him or not, if you were safe or in the clutches of the enemy
Seriously, he can’t ;;; He’d die at the thought of losing you despite his indifference towards you
So Vanderwood forces enlists Saeyoung’s help to take down your agency
And you guys succeed
So you guys take down Vanderwood and Saeyoung’s agency too
He’s happier living a normal life with you where you both know your s/o will come home for dinner without cuts or bruises, but deep down he’s still giddy that his girlfriend is a badass and can share his love for weapons
Note: I thought about a scenario where they both continue living as spies but I think Vanderwood is super sweet deep down and wouldn’t want MC to get hurt so I came up with this instead ^^

Hi there! I know you've mentioned that u have so many HC of Sasuke and Sakura's 1st kiss (because I'm pretty much on your wonderful page every day lol) but may I ask what's your top 5? Like how did it happen? When? where? Thank you! 😍😍😍
Even that’s hard to answer without context... haha but I will try!
Scenario # 1:
When: A few months into their travels.
Where: At their campsite, by the fire.
How: A simple accumulation of their affectionate glances and soft barely there touches. They were in a really good place when it came to each other, having spent the past few hours talking and sharing things about their past---Sasuke a bit more reservedly, of course. Sakura felt particularly happy that night, because he was finally really getting into the details of his family and what they were like (he’d shared a few things about them before, but never in depth like this). Sasuke felt safe with her. And it just built them up to this moment where they looked at each other, Sakura smiling and Sasuke’s eyes tender... and it just felt so right. So natural. They leaned in, eyes closing steadily, and finally shared their first kiss; soft, sweet, and shy. Sasuke gave her the tiniest smile afterwards and it was the most beautiful thing she’d ever seen. They shared a few more chaste kisses afterwards, longer than their first but no less tentative, before going to bed wrapped up in each other.
Scenario # 2:
When: After Sasuke’s initial redemption journey, right when he came back for a little while.
Where: In Konoha, at Sakura’s apartment.
How: They’d been spending a whole lot of time together since he came back, nearly seeing each other every day, and her apartment was kind of their go-to if they weren’t out with Team 7. They usually made dinner together, where Sasuke tried to help her better her cooking a little. It wasn’t necessarily that she was bad, but long shifts at the hospital didn’t usually leave her motivated to cook herself long healthy meals, and so her cooking was usually kind of limited to simple, sometimes questionably unhealthy meals. Then they’d just hang out and talk/open up a bottle of sake to share. Their first kiss happened on one of those nights where nothing was really out of the ordinary. Sasuke had simply been coming to terms with his feelings for her lately and couldn’t help himself from kissing her without much preamble. Probably when they were washing the dishes and Sakura was rambling a little about something silly. She turned to him to pass him a clean dish to dry and he just tangled his hand in her hair and swooped down to put his mouth to hers. Needless to say the dishes were forgotten for a few minutes there. They also left to travel together not long after that.
Scenario # 3:
When: A few months into their travels.
Where: A cave.
How: A storm caught them off guard. They took refuge in a cave nearby. They were completely soaked and freezing. Before Sakura could even suggest that they take off their clothes because of the possibility of hypothermia, Sasuke was just too overtaken with the sight of her all pretty and soaping wet and instinctively drew her in for their first kiss. Sakura was a bit too shocked to respond to that one---though he pulled away pretty fast anyway, so it’s not like she would have had the chance. He was too embarrassed to look at her after, mumbling an almost inaudible, “sorry,” but she quelled his worries by cupping his face kissing him just as tentatively. (This headcanon is still not stronger than my ultimate canon of their first time making love in a situation just like this, though lmao.)
Scenario # 4:
When: A few months into their travels.
Where: In some random inn.
How: Similarly to what I wrote in my multichapter, they went back to their inn after a nice night where they drank a little bit of sake and were slightly tipsy. Sakura was giddy and Sasuke felt blissfully peaceful. They went to bed and mumbled conversation as they looked at each other, and exchanged light innocent touches full of affection. Sakura, in her tipsy stupor, couldn’t help herself from confessing to him. And thanking him for the night they had/for bringing her along. Sasuke leaned in to kiss her in response.
Scenario # 5:
When: The moment Sasuke came back to invite Sakura on his travels.
Where: Sakura’s apartment.
How: After spending many months away from her, missing her terribly, and coming to realize the nature of his feelings + how deep they ran, Sasuke went back to Konoha. He skipped the Hokage tower, headed straight for Sakura’s apartment, and knocked, hoping with all his heart that she was home and not at the hospital. By some miracle, she was there. The look on her face when she opened the door and saw him there, and the way she breathed his name... he literally couldn’t help himself from stepping inside the way that he did, swiftly closing the door with his foot to give them the privacy they needed. He drew her in and kissed her before she could even say anything. It took her a while to respond because she was so shocked, but that was okay. Sakura was a little flustered afterwards, even moreso when he murmured his invitation to come along on his travels, but she smiled anyways, hugging him close. She missed him too, she said. And if she gave him about a few days to delegate her duties at the hospital, she would love nothing more than to come and join him on his journey.
Idk what do you think hhaha

white petals
a/n: Hello there! As anyone who possibly follows my blog knows, I rarely post original content and instead reblog everything lol. However, I originally wrote this short story on the Japanese folklore, ‘Hanahaki Disease,’ for a school assignment and actually liked what I wrote. Looking up to a lot of writers on this platform, I felt proud enough to share my final piece and would love feedback. thanks and enjoy!
Hanahaki Disease  def. Hanahaki disease is an illness borne of one-sided love, causing flowers to form and grow in the lungs of the unrequited, the petals coughed up with increasing frequency. The infection can be removed through surgery, though the feelings disappear along with the petals. If the love is not returned, the flowers filling the patients chest will eventually prove fatal.
I hear her screams before seeing her wave frantically. She jumps up and down, quite avidly, before screeching my name once more. Bypassers give her strange looks, some even trying to sight out who she is calling to, but the strong desire to hide within the mass in embarrassment leaves me when she smiles. As if a small puppy trying to behave in reward of a treat, she practically shakes in giddiness until I’m physically a few feet in front of her.
“I missed you!” she yells, shouting it loud enough for the heavens above to hear while leaping into my arms. I almost fall back given the weight of my backpack and the nerves that had yet to settle from thinking of her, the buildup of finally holding her again. I missed this.
“I missed you too!” I tiredly chuckle. The hours of the flight were starting to reach me. She pulls back to pout at the lack of enthusiasm in my voice before giggling, securing me in another hug. It lasts longer this time, as we tighten our hold and burrow our heads against each other. The warmth of her comfort never left me, but being here now to hold it in my arms after too many months encapsulates every memory, every loose thought I could have imagined of her in ten folds. Her smell overwhelms me to the extent that I suffocate in pure bliss, welcoming death if it was to be by her hand.
We slightly rock, embracing each other as long as we can in the given moment. Eventually, no amount of grip can ignore the push and shoves of rushed travelers, strangers that will never truly understand the vulnerability we wear on our backs. I reluctantly step away.
“Hi.”
“Why hello there,” she smirks.
I tower over her and soak in her appearance. Wearing an old hoodie with thick sweatpants, her messy hair encompases her face like a halo, contrasting her beaming grin and hooded eyes. No matter the time of day, she has always had a softness to her that adds to her natural glow. With crossed arms and a tilted posture, she holds her head high in confidence and dangerous boldness; her attitude makes up for her lack of height.
It takes me a second to glance over her twice until I burst out laughing. I struggle to breathe as I choke out my words,
“What the hell are your shoes?”
She gasps and feigns shock, like the true drama queen she’s been since primary school.
“How dare you! I burden myself with waking up at three in the morning, tired as shit, to pick up your ass at the busiest time of the year travel wise to be insulted over my shoe choice? My oldest friend, my supposed best friend, I haven’t seen in months thinks to come up to me and have the audacity to question my beautiful footwear that I decided to bless you with as a welcome home gift?!”
I wheeze so hard that I have to rest a hand on my knee for support, the other coming up to hold my mouth. She continues to rant nonsense while I attempt to gather myself to at least explain their hideousness, though it becomes increasingly difficult as she starts speaking faster, no doubt purposefully trying to make a scene in the middle of the busy airport.
“God, just shut up for one second,” I giggle, quickly pushing my hand against her mouth. I feel the disgusting wetness on my palm, her eyes challenging me as they narrow in defiance, but I know reacting would only play into her satisfaction. I don’t hesitate to wipe my hand on her face as she begins to squeal and turn away. I’m already coughing by the amount of air it takes to laugh and go to squeeze her from behind, hiding myself in her hair and trapping her in my grasp.
“You forgot you were supposed to pick me up, didn’t you?” I whisper in her ear. The rubber trout house-slippers innocently dangle off her feet as the fish basically gap in the harsh, artificial light; a gag gift she must have received from her brother, I assume. She goes still, most likely contemplating her answer given how often she tended to forget things and how often I would immediately torment her for it.
“...No?” she merely meeks.
“That wasn’t a question to be answered with another question” I snicker. Without a beat, she shoves me back to defend herself, arguing sarcastically as we make our way through the crowd. Our banter continues until we reach the van. The damn van. Its ugly, faded mustard paint sticks out like a sore thumb in a sea of cars, like a singular old banana peel squished between piling bags of trash. If my memory serves me right, nothing has changed besides the growing rust and additional stickers on the rear. She stops to look at me once she realizes I paused in my sentence, gently smiling when she recognizes my uneasiness.
“Surely you didn’t forget about Hemlock, did you?” she taunts me, as though she forgot about the numerous times we almost died in the ancient thing. After five years, she’s still clueless to why I chose its name. I roll my eyes, climbing into a crusty seat and slamming the squeaking door shut. She quickly jumps into the driver’s side and plays the current cassette tape in, Marvin Gaye filling the empty air. Tempting me with the beginning lines, those glintful eyes daring me to join her, I willingly give in and sing along.
As if time had rewinded itself, I was back in highschool, sneaking out in the middle of the night in this god awful death machine and trying not to fall for the girl besides me with our terrible singing drowning out the world around us. What I would give for these moments to go beyond our indefinite cordiality; to be able to breathe in her presence without a constricting throat punishing me every time I reminisce in the possibilities. If only I knew then.
I first felt the beginning roots build their way into my lungs when she cried at our Junior class formal, her date leaving her on the dance floor to join his friends outside. The nerve of the bastard. We danced the tears away that night, high on the ecstasy of excruciatingly loud sounds beating from the gym speakers while sweating amongst the bodies enclosing us. Clinging onto each other as we jumped to the music, our cackles were a distant noise to our own ears. As if the hours were within minutes, we escaped the heated space into the cool of the open wind, the moon lighting our path to the nearby playground. I still remember the dazed look in her eyes as she stared at the stars from the ground, amazed at the concept such light could exist by its own force in the emptiness of space. She looked at me that night with wonder that rivaled the stars’ beauty above us, telling me,
“I feel like I don’t deserve you sometimes,” pausing to look back up at the starry night. “I’m so glad I always have you by my side.”
I held my lips tight as I tried to keep my spirits high, a silent promise to prioritize her current feelings above mine despite her innocent words threatening to break open my dams. As if someone physically took my lungs in their hands and squeezed them together, I hitched my breath, bracing myself from the sudden force. Scared of considering the notion, I tried to fill the silence I left unattended.
“Of course,” I chose to say, “always.”
I went home to cry that night, laying myself on the bathroom floor, for I wailed silent cries that echoed my hiccups against the cold tile walls, the pressure in my chest almost pushing out the last of my sobs before I closed my eyes. Not me, not to me surely.
I coughed my first petal at our annual movie marathon a few months after that, the innocent white leaf laid delicately in my palm in spite of forcing its way from a dry hack. I stared at the small thing with such distaste, hating the ache a single petal could cause and felt tears pool in the corners of my eyes at the thought of how such selfish desires could result in something so daunting in the form of a beautiful flower. The everlasting pressure on my lungs was still present after all this time, yet a part of me was hopeful. Hopeful in believing I could lie to myself until those lies became my reality.  The world could be so cruel.
The reality of my possible demise terrified me, scared me to imagine the vulnerability of acting on harboring a simple crush after all these years. She broke me from my train of thought, calling out to me from the kitchen and asking if I wanted anything else besides the popcorn. I opened my mouth to answer, only for sudden dry coughs to rack my body. I could feel a collective bunch grouping itself in my lungs, smothering my airway as each cough kept pressing the petals further and further up to my throat. I was choking on the damn things, individual bits sticking to the roof of my mouth and harboring at the back near my uvula. Before I knew it, I heard her rapid footsteps come towards me on the couch, handing me an open bottle of water as she kneeled in front of me, eyes wide with concern. I greedily chugged the water down, inhaling the water as fast as possible to avoid any hint to my true condition.
“Are you o—”
“I’m fine,” I interrupted. “I’m okay, I swear.” What lies. She obviously didn’t believe me then, but sighed in defeat knowing I wouldn’t hold out further. Just when I thought she would move to stand, she inched closer to my face. A single breath escapes me at the proximity, and before I’m aware, she reaches out to cup my cheeks with her hands, her thumbs moving to wipe my tears I hadn’t realized fallen.
“I won’t push it, I promise. But I’m always here, yeah?” I nodded at her words and slowly raised my hands to grip her wrists, still gently caressing my face. It pained me then, not only because of my recent fit but the burn of her hands on my skin. Her soft touch intoxicated my mind and drew me further into her eyes, honey brown, reflecting the forgotten television screen in the relatively dark room, pouring into my own.
I tugged her hands down. Although desperate for the rare intimate touch we shared in that very moment, I couldn’t handle the shame of craving her touch so badly, for wanting her to sacrifice her own emotions to comfort the ones I felt for her. I left her house abruptly then and there, throwing a fruitless apology and basically running out the front door with a clenched fist on the petal. What a coward.
The following weeks were agonizingly slow. I couldn’t avoid her forever, not only missing important school days but emotionally needing her presence in my life again, her security. Still remaining true to herself, she scolded me from isolating myself when I finally built up the strength to approach her, upset I supposedly was putting her health from my ‘cold’ ahead of our friendship, reassuring me I shouldn’t be afraid to go to her. If only, I wish.
I kept the disease a secret since I understood my worsening condition, mainly not knowing what to do in the first place and illogically ignoring the situation for as long as possible. From excuses such as eating in my room because of ‘late assignments and all nighters’ to dearest demanding mother forcing me to babysit close family-friends’ kids, I only had human interactions when necessary, still keeping my distance so no one was aware of the symptoms I progressively began to show. However, my luck could only take me so far.
I got home late one afternoon, finally allowing myself to spend some time with her at the park on the swings. I called out to greet my mom, and while raw from the rough coughing fit I had during my last class period, I knew she should have heard me and was surprised to be met with silence. I knew of the likelihood that she would have entered my room in search of me since I went out, but I couldn’t help but remain hopeful. I seem to never learn.
Standing in the middle of my doorway was my mother, her back towards me as she seemed to be taking in the sight as a whole, though I couldn’t blame her considering the circumstances. Small, white petals seemed to take up every inch of my room, comparing similarly to snow besides the puddles of blood mixed with certain groups; from my bay window seating area to the trim line on the floor, scattered individual petals all varying in size and color overtook my room and drained the life I once had, each piece a literal representation of me losing myself to this damn disease.
“Mom…” I whispered out. I walked towards her only to stop when I heard her choked sob. She crumpled to the ground, and I did what I could to comfort her from behind, rushing to hold her head to my chest and slowly sway our bodies while on my knees. I tried to keep it in, but eventually I couldn’t physically handle it and rushed to the nearest bathroom to spit out the most recent build up of flowers. It was getting more painful to keep going with the routine, holding in the coughs as much as possible only to throw them up in one single go. There would be moments where I struggled to fully spit them all out, almost suffocating on the petals and forced to sit over the toilet, wondering if this was the place I died.
As I hacked out the last of the petals I had the strength to with the metallic smell invading my nose, I laid my head on my arms, pathetically strewn on top of the toilet seat, I felt her presence and slowly looked up. My mom’s mascara ran from her eyes, most likely smudged when she tried to calm herself before approaching me like a wounded animal. I saw the horror in her eyes, and while I wanted to truly believe it was from learning her own child had the one and only freakin flower disease, I could see the uneasiness in her eyes from truly looking at me and me alone.
“How coul— how could you keep this from me?” Her voice trembles, broken in a form of agony.
“What would I have said, Mom? I fell in love with someone and they took my breath away?” Her demeanor changed into a look of anger, upset at my attempt to defuse the situation with my dry humor. My mistake for not reading the room.
“Don’t! Don’t do that, act like your life is nothing to be of concern or that it doesn’t matter. I’m your mother! I have the right to know when you— when you…” Another sob escapes her, and she quickly swallows it down.
“We need to take the steps now before it’s too late. We need to find a doctor.” I know what these steps entail, and if I’m being honest with myself, I couldn’t imagine a life without the love I hold for her now, a life worth living.
“Mom… I don’t think I could go through with it,” I barely finish my sentence before she cuts me off.
“No, no that’s not an option anymore. I refuse to stand here and watch my child kill themself for someone undeserving of their love.” I can’t bring myself to speak.
“Who is it? Tell me right now.” I loved my mom. I know her emotions are a show of her care, but in the end of the day, her words in a given situation driven by those emotions do nothing but harm. I stay relatively silent until her hard gaze breaks me.
“No one of importance.” More. Lies.
I showed up at her house the next day, leaning against the gross van and waiting in the morning before she heads off to school. She’s surprised to say the least.
“What are you doing here?” she questioned, yet no malice was in her voice, only curiosity.
“You’re never awake before I am.” She laughed at her small poke at me, but this time I couldn’t will myself to fake it for her. The air became thick as she understood how serious it must be then.
“I went to the doctors yesterday,” I began, “finally got that cough checked out.” She only nodded and stayed silent, waiting for the rest to come. I sighed at the anticipation, looking down.
“I— they think it's cancer.” I don’t look up but continue to hear the silence ring.
“My mom is obviously worried, I am too, but I came by to tell you in person because, well, I have to leave for now.” More silence.
“There’s a good doctor up in Chicago my mom was looking up last night, she’s trying to save up for the best she can find. I— I know it’s important to get the treatment and such but it’s gonna be hard and I’m scared right now. You know? I’ve never had to leave town, and bam, suddenly I have this deadly ass di—” she wrapped her arms around me, pulling me out of my rant. I felt the tears against my chest and couldn’t help but pull her in tighter, wanting to protect her from any pain in the world, even the ones I caused.
“Y—you’ll be back soon. You’ll be back before anyone knows it, good as new. And when you’re back, well swing at the park for days, eat the most junk food we can, make up all the time and movie marathons and—” her voice cracked. I held her tighter.
A sudden shake brings me out of my thoughts, a tender call of my name. My eyes shift slightly to notice her concerned gaze, staring at me as the cassette ended possibly moments ago, the static clouding the air.
“Are you okay?” she questions. I give a weak smile.
“Just thoughts, I thought I could ignore it while I’m here with you after all this time, but…” I pathetically shrug and look away.
“No, don’t say that! I’m sorry I didn’t mention it initially, I didn’t know if you were ready or wanted to in general. What you went through, it was a lot. Something people don’t just go through everyday. I couldn’t imagine how hard it must have been for you over there, somewhere necessary but new nonetheless, but you made it and you’re here. You were so strong already, and you’re only stronger now. You’re amazing, my amazing lil’ star.” She shines that beautiful smile again, tears flowing steadily down as her eyes crinkle. I smile through my own tears too, laughing before looking away.
“I have to tell you something else, but before that, could we head to the park?” I ask her while clearing my throat, reaching in my bag for some medication and water.
“Of course, always.”
The van’s engine roars, an unsatisfying screech bringing it to life. We drive the familiar streets in a comfortable silence, and I chose to stop the cassette playing to embrace it as it is. I let out another giggle and turn to her as I wiggle my eyebrows, jumping out of the car before it’s fully parked.
“Someone’s eager,” she laughs out, rushing to catch up with me as I try to stand on the seat rather than sit. We play like this for almost an hour, chasing each other like little girls with no care in the world, no love to damage the beauty of the raw moment. Eventually I pause and sit on the ground, inviting her to join me with baby pats in the empty spot to my left. We lay under the stars once more together, and I finally work up the words to speak.
“White Jasmines,” I say. There’s a pause before she turns her head towards me, another smirk to entertain my new antics.
“What about them?”
“Did you know they symbolize sweet love and amiability?” She tilts her head, visibly confused at what I am trying to convey or why. I reach into my front pocket, and I gradually place the flower on her lap. Her eyes start to widen. She whispers my name.
“I’m sorry I lied again when it mattered, when it went against our friendship, our relationship. I was scared, and couldn’t bring myself to burden you.” She sits up and takes my closets hand into hers, clutching it so tight her knuckles become white.
“You could have said something! You should have said something!” She yells out with a bite in her tone, but her eyes go against her intended rage.
“Could you look me in the eyes right now and say you would have reciprocated how I feel without my life being in jeopardy because of it?” She stares so intently at me, having to look down and blink with the amount of tears gathered. I continue on, stating,
“I love you, okay? I love you for being you, for how you see and treat me, for how you already care so much for me. I love you as you and would never try to accept a love beyond what is true.” I grip her hands with my own covering them as well, trying to hold on as tight as possible. Trying to hold on as long as possible.
“How can you say all that when— when you left to—” It’s my turn to cut her off.
“I left before I went through with it, I left before I would lose everything.” She clings onto my entire arm now, tears heavy as she realizes how weak I’ve become in the past few minutes.
“Y—you…”
“I’m so glad I’ve always had you b—by my side,” I start to choke on the blood rising in my throat but remain determined as I try to wipe her own tear away with my right hand, “I’ll always be here with you, okay?” I honestly can’t see anything at this point, but continue to hold on, looking onwards towards the sky as the stars barely gleam with the rise of the sun.
“My star.”

Don’t Go Out There
Prompt: 53: “Don’t go out there. Especially once the sun goes down.” “Why not?” “You don’t wanna know.” and 80: “I just found out my best friend and love of my life isn’t human and you’re criticizing me for being shocked?!” from this list, specifically with Vampire Seth. Requested by anon.
Pairing: Vampire!Seth Rollins x unnamed OC
Word Count: 2400+
Warnings: Light swearing. I think that’s
Author’s Note: No sparkling in the sunlight here folks. I combined a few different styles/lore into what creates vamps in this world, so I didn’t stick strictly to one pre-existing rule. It was fun to write in AU and I enjoyed the spooky bits. They were a challenge, but I’m happy with them for my first attempt. Edit: omg so I just saw where it was mislabeled from when I copied everything over. Everything should be fine now. Embarassing lol

My girlfriends had warned me, but I didn’t want to listen. They said that eventually the rose-tinted honeymoon glasses of my relationship would come off, but I didn’t believe them. It had been over two years with Seth and the giddy, “new relationship” excitement hadn’t faded yet, so I had doubted it ever could. They said eventually something would shatter the illusion I held of him and there would be no turning back. Maybe I needed more positive friends, but maybe they were right.
I had moved in with Seth almost a month ago, which had been the catalyst for even more pessimistic remarks from my girls over brunch but I shrugged them all off. If they had men like my Seth, they would understand. We lived in different parts of the same city, but his little suburb was so small and secluded, I didn’t even know it existed before I met him. It was like a little gem of a hamlet trapped inside the city. I was excited to call it home.
“I want you to do something for me.” Seth had whispered as we lay in bed together on the first night, the only light coming from the streetlamp outside the window.
“Again? Already?” I giggled? We were both sticky, sweaty and satiated after celebrating taking this next step in our relationship.
“Not like that.” He grinned, nuzzling my neck.
“What then?” I squirmed, his beard tickling me.
“Don’t go out there. Especially once the sun goes down.” He murmured against my skin.
              “Why not?”
              “You don’t wanna know.”
“Seth, I can handle myself…” I started to protest but he shook his head.
“I know you think this is a beautiful neighbourhood, but things get weird at night. Just don’t do it. For me?” He turned his gorgeous brown eyes on me and I couldn’t resist.
I had forgotten the promise I’d made him that night. I remembered watching as my mugs took up counter space beside his or how his eyebrows wiggled as he opened a box to find it full of underwear. I remembered the way it felt when he wrapped his arms around me and said “Welcome home” and how he welcomed me well into the morning. That tiny conversation just slipped through the cracks.
As I walked the few blocks home from the store, I couldn’t help but gaze around the suburb. If at all possible, it looked even more beautiful at night. I had seen it after dark before, but always with Seth by my side. Never had the dimly lit neighbourhood held my undivided attention. I took my usual route to and from the store, cutting across a few alleys and crossing a park. I had walked this path enough during the day that I didn’t need to think about where I was going.
A shuffling noise behind me brought me out of my thoughts. I glanced over my shoulder, expecting to see someone else on the street, but no one was there. Come to think of it, the cashier had been the only person I had seen all night. I hadn’t passed anyone walking to the store and there was no one else shopping. Just goes to show how removed our little neighbourhood is from the hustle and bustle.
The shuffling happened again, interrupting my thoughts. It had sounded closer this time, but as I looked around there was still nothing there. I tried to change how I was moving, checking if it was a noise my jacket was making as I walked but that didn’t seem to be it. I picked up my pace a little.
The breeze picked up as I got closer to home making me shiver. I’d only grabbed a very light jacket and it wasn’t helping much against the cool wind. I was already a little on edge, the soft howl of the wind and the noises of leaves rustling making me scan the street continuously. A gust of wind blew my hair over my neck, making me shiver.
The next time I heard the shuffling noise, I swear I heard laughter along with it. I stopped walking and spun around, looking for the source of the noises I’d been hearing.
“Is someone there?” I called into the alley. I was met by silence but couldn’t shake the feeling of not being alone. One weird noise in the night is a coincidence, these repeated noises were too much to handle.
I turned, ready to speed walk the rest of the way home, but jumped as I saw the silhouette of a man standing at the end of the alley. He hadn’t been there a second ago. He wasn’t walking or moving, just standing. The alley was narrow enough that I would have to pass him to continue home. I was too scared to move, and he didn’t seem to be moving soon either.
“No.” A voice growled from directly behind me, making me scream and drop my shopping bag. I whirled around, ready to attack with every ounce of my being. I didn’t know how to fight, but I could claw, scratch, kick and bite.
I almost sobbed in relief when I saw that it was Seth behind me. I collapsed against him, burying my head into his shoulder.
“Just a little taste.” The man drawled.
“I said no.” Seth’s voice was like nothing I’d ever heard come out of him before. I whimpered, clinging to him tighter. I could feel how tense he was under his shirt, his entire body seemed ready to strike.
The man chuckled darkly before his footsteps echoed down the alley, fading into the distance. The tension left Seth’s body as the footsteps got farther and farther away.
“I told you not to go out alone at night.” He whispered into my ear, his arms wrapping around me.
“I-I’m sorry. I’ll never do it again.” I promised. I moved to pull away but Seth just held me tighter.
“Wait.” He ordered. I looked up at him but could was too close to see his face, his chin taking up most of my view.
              “What’s wrong?”
“Just wait.” Was all he said.
“Seth, I’m already scared to death and you’re making it worse. Can we please just go home?” I asked, trying to push away. He looked down at me and I gasped. In the dimly lit alley, I could see his eyes were tinted red. Were they glowing? Why were they-
“Seth… w-what…” I could barely form any words, shaking in his arms as I tried to push away.
“Calm down, I’m not going to hurt you.” He tried to soothe, but that only made me panic.
“Seth, let me go.” I cried, trying to wiggle free. He loosened his arms, letting me slip free. I took several quick steps back, almost tripping as I stared at him.
“It’s okay, it’s just me.” He followed as I moved away, arms raised like he was approaching a scared animal.
“Seth, what’s going on? Why are your eyes-“ I shook my head. I couldn’t bring myself to say it. I felt my chest getting tighter and tighter.
“Let’s just go home and I’ll explain everything.” He offered, still advancing on me. He stepped into a beam of light from the street, the light glinting off his long, pointed teeth. Pointed teeth?!
“Y-your teeth.” I stuttered, tripping over a crack in the pavement and falling backwards.
“Shit.” He hissed, turning away and covering his mouth. I jumped at the distraction, scrambling up and sprinting to the entrance of the alley as fast as I could. Seth called after me but I didn’t stop.
I collided with something as I turned the corner, screaming as I felt arms reach out to steady me. Looking up, I couldn’t believe I was looking at Seth.
“How did you-“ I panted, staring up at him in fear. “You were-“ I couldn’t do anything as my vision grew dark and I felt myself fall limp in his arms.
----
I woke slowly, laying in a comfortable bed. My nose told me it was mine and Seth’s bed as I snuggled deeper into the pillow. My head hurt and I felt exhausted. I whined quietly under my breath at the feeling.
“You’re awake.”  Seth’s voice was rough and I could tell there was something wrong. I slowly opened my eyes, turning to look in his direction. He was sitting on a chair he’d pulled into the room. The covers on his side of the bed were untouched. “How are you feeling?”
“Tired.” I mumbled, looking him over. His hair was a mess and he was wearing the same clothes as last night. Had he not slept- last night. I sat up in bed, watching him with wide eyes as I remembered.
“Sweetheart, please calm down. I don’t want you passing out again.” He begged, but didn’t move from the chair. His fingers twitched against the armrests, but he was still otherwise. I watched him, my body shaking and muscles tight, ready to jump out of the bed and run.
“W-What was that?” I finally stuttered. “Last night?”
“I should have told you this sooner.” Seth sighed and bent his head, his hair falling forward and shielding his face from me. I glanced at the bedroom door, knowing that I’d never get there before Seth did. He was faster than I was, always had been, and that was before I had seen him last night. It was like he appeared around that corner by magic. “I’m not who- I’m not what you think I am.”
“What are you?” I whispered, scared my voice would crack if I spoke much louder.
“The short answer?” He chuckled bitterly. “Vampire.”
A silence engulfed the room as I processed what Seth had said. Vampire. Vampires don’t exist. They’re made up for horror movies and Halloween costumes. Besides, I had seen Seth eat food, not blood. He’d been out during the day and didn’t explode into a pike of ash. I’d never seen him bite into a clove of garlic but I don’t remember him going out of his way to avoid garlic either.
Seth’s chuckle startled me out of my thoughts.
“Myths. Those are all myths.” He spoke, confusing me. Now what was he talking about?
“Sunlight, garlic.” He explained. “We’re weaker in the sun, but it doesn’t kill us instantly. I have no idea where the garlic comes from. Probably some garlic farmer trying to make a quick buck off of paranoia.”
…How did he know that was what I had been thinking?
“I can read minds.” He answered, looking up at me hesitantly. “I also have incredible speed and strength – at least I do when I’m not in sunlight. The way it was explained to me is that it makes us weak. If we stay in it too long it might kill us, but it would be like slowly wasting away. I wouldn’t burst into flames.”
“That’s why you hate the beach?” I asked. I knew it was a dumb question, but it felt like my brain was shutting down. Between the head ache I’d woken up with and the shock of information I was getting, I couldn’t think straight.
“That’s what you’re hung up on?” Seth laughed.
“I just found out my best friend and love of my life isn’t human and you’re criticizing me for being shocked?!” I snapped, a gasp leaving my mouth immediately afterwards. Saying it myself made it so much more real. I threw the covers back on the bed and climbed out the opposite side from where Seth was sitting.
“Please, don’t go!” He begged, standing as I did. “Please. I’ll answer anything you want. Everything. I still eat normal food but I drink blood, a pint every few days or so. I don’t drink human blood, only animal blood. There are vampires who drink human blood and those are the ones you need to be scared of, not me. Never me.” He ranted, trying to supply the answers to the questions she wasn’t even asking yet.
“It’s still me. I’m still Seth Rollins, the Seth Rollins that loves you with all his heart and that you love back… just a little less human than you originally thought.”
“Why should I believe you?” I breathed. “I… I know what you are,” I thought back on last night. The eyes, the teeth, the speed. I had no doubt in my mind he was telling the truth about what he is.
“Have I hurt you yet?” He answered. “If I was looking for some random person to drink from or play with, don’t you think that would have happened by now? Why would I be telling you all of this after being together for over two years? I should have told you sooner, but I was so scared. I couldn’t handle the thought of you leaving me. Please don’t leave me.”
I watched the emotion plain as day on his face. The vampires shown in classic movies always look so stoic, not like Seth did in this moment. He looked like he might collapse at any moment. I’m sure if I took a single step toward that door, he would break.
Two years I’ve loved this man, and I’d known him long before I loved him. I knew him- I thought I knew him inside and out. Could I just… walk away?
The silence stretched between us. If Seth was reading my mind, he didn’t show it. He didn’t comment as the war in my head waged, weighing out either side. Do I stay with the man I love or leave this… vampire?
I took a shaky breath as I sat back down on the bed. Relief flashed through Seth’s eyes as he mirrored me, sitting on the opposite edge.
“I… I still have a lot of questions.” I told him.
“I know.” He gave a nod before correcting himself. “Not- I haven’t been- This is your decision to make and I wanted to give you the privacy to make it. I meant it figuratively. I don’t literally know what you’re thinking. At least not right now.”
I couldn’t help but grin, a soft laugh escaping my lips. One of Seth’s nervous habits was rambling. It didn’t come out often, only when he was incredibly nervous. He’d rambled on our first few dates. He rambled the first morning we woke up together. He rambled when he asked me to move in. Maybe he was still my Seth.
I reached out towards the middle of the bed, my hand upturned. Seth took it in his own without hesitation, lacing our fingers together with a soft squeeze. Seth was the first one to break the silence.
“Where do you want to start?”

As You Wish (Cisco x Reader) Part One
Hello, everyone! I’m back and better, and writing again! A couple days ago, I got a request from the lovely @dontwishonme and I absolutely loved the idea! Originally the request was just going to be a one-shot, but it looks like it’s going to be longer than expected, so it’s going to have a few parts to it. It won’t be any longer than five parts, though, so stick around to see what happens to Cisco and the reader!
Request: Could I please request a Cisco X reader where the two of then are both in denial about their feelings for each other, so music Meister steps in, but instead of being trapped in a musical they end up in a fantasy adventure movie like the princess bride. And they have to follow the story and confess their feelings to escape? Thank you! <3
youtube
Since this is a short fic including the Music Meister, I’m also adding music from Youtube to each of the chapters because it just makes sense lol and listening to music helps me write. Sooooooooo, here we go!
Part One
“Cisco, we really didn’t have to do this tonight.” You assured him as he ushered you inside his apartment. The only source of light was the television which was on and ready for your guy’s weekly movie marathon. You had been best friends with Cisco ever since high school, and although your careers took you in a different path, you still kept in touch.
Seeing as you were his best friend, you even helped out some with Team Flash- because, of course, you knew about Barry and the rest of the team. In the beginning, Cisco had tried his best to keep it a secret, seeing as though it was a dangerous profession; however, he was never good at keeping anything from you. Within a few weeks, you had figured it out on your own and waited patiently for Cisco to be comfortable enough to tell you himself. But, you were the first person he went to when he himself began to change. You had no idea how helpful you really were to him when he found out he was a metahuman and how much of a relief it was for him to know you still had his back, no matter what.
But lately, Cisco has been very busy at work. You tried your best to be as useful as you could, but you had your own job and bills to pay as well, so it wasn’t easy to be there for him as much as you wanted to be. So, after a really tough week for Cisco and the team, you were surprised when he called you to make sure you were coming over to watch movies with him.
“Uh, yeah, we had to do this tonight!” He gasped, frantically trying to pick up trash and dirty clothes from the floor and hide them in random spots like under the couch or in the closet as if you weren’t watching. You did your best not to giggle at this. “We have a movie marathon every Thursday! Why wouldn’t we do it this Thursday?”
You shrugged your arms out of your jacket, hanging it on the back of a chair before taking a seat on his couch. You sunk far into the cushions and continued to watch him tidy up before you answered. It was almost too easy to see that he was missing the usual spring in his step and instead, replaced it with a more sluggish walk as though he was dragging his feet across the floor. His shoulders were slumped and although you could tell he did his best to comb his hair, it still had that natural bed-head look to it.
You frowned, “You’re tired. I really shouldn’t have come. You need your rest.”
He quickly whirled to face you, holding his hands up as if begging you not to move from the couch. “I’m okay! Really! We’re watching movies tonight!” He furrowed his eyebrows and his bottom lip jutted out in a small pout, “You’re not allowed to leave. Not until we’ve watched at least one movie.”
The smile tugging at the corners of your mouth was impossible to contain. You would never say it out loud, but when he got grumpy-tired like this, you always found it kind of adorable and no matter what, you’d always cave into his request.
“Fine.” You patted the seat next to you. “But will you please quit trying to clean up? You’re bad at it. And you know my place isn’t much better.”
He paused, thinking about it as he held a sock in one of his hands. Finally, he nodded in agreement before tossing the sock over his shoulder and joined you on the couch.
“So, which movie first?” You asked as he melted deep into the fabric next to you.
“You pick.” He mumbled, starring at the blank screen. “Least I can do is let you pick… Considering I haven’t really spoken to you all week.”
Your heart pinched you slightly as you took in his words. You had texted him a few times this week and usually never got a response until about one in the morning. As much as this disappointed you, seeing as you couldn’t see your favorite dork, you never thought of holding it over his head. You understood he was busy saving the world, what could possibly be more important than that?
You shook your head, standing up from the couch. “Shush, none of that tonight. Pick a movie, I’ll make the popcorn.”
You walked around the couch, straight into the kitchen and reaching on top of the fridge to grab the box of popcorn he had up there. You felt a little more giddy and excited to see it was “Movie-Theater-Popcorn” because the extra butter was a guilty pleasure of yours.
As you popped the popcorn (pun intended) into the microwave, you felt yourself slipping a little from reality as you usually did when you thought about Cisco. You envisioned that this movie night would be different from the rest; maybe, just maybe one of you would finally confess your feelings for one another. As much as you had been leading up to it the past couple of weeks, you were shy and couldn’t help but hope that if he felt the same way- hopefully he did- then he’d beat you to the punchline and make the first move.
He’d wrap his arm around your frame and let you snuggle into his side like he usually does during a movie, except this time he’d pull you so close, you’d look up at him to give him a questioning look. He’d just smile down at you with that soft grin of his and when he blinks, you’d be close enough to see how this eyelashes brush against his cheeks. Then, he’d take you by surprise and move some of the hair out of your face and you’d hold your breath because feeling his touch always sent a tickling, warm feeling into your chest. You’d blush and he’d smile more, and he’d say something along the lines of “I love you” or maybe something with a little less emotion since you guys aren’t dating… And then you’d both lean in, you’d feel his warm breath brush against your lips and the tips of your nose would touch, and just as you think your heart is about to explode with anticipation, you guys k--.
The microwave dings to remind you where you really were; standing in the middle of his kitchen, leaning against the counter and drooling over your best friend who had no idea how you felt. Rubbing the color out of your face with the palm of your hands, you turned back around to remove the bag from the microwave and put its contents into a large bowl before heading back to the couch where Cisco had just inserted a film.
You grinned once more when you saw the case on the coffee table in front of you guys. “The Princess Bride?” You giggled as he gave you a cheeky smile before taking a handful of popcorn. “Good choice.”
“Thwank ooo.” He responded with his mouth full of buttery popcorn, causing a little louder laugh to escape you.
Halfway into the movie, you were curled up at his side like usual, enjoying the warmth radiating from the arm he wraps around you and the chest you had rested your head on. You were so engulfed in the passionate kiss that Wesley was sharing with Buttercup that you weren’t expecting the tug Cisco gave on your waist, pulling you so close, you were almost sitting in his lap. It had happened so fast, you couldn’t help but gasp and you could almost hear your heart thudding in your chest.
Was this it? Was he really going to do what you had just imagined a few minutes ago?
Taking a deep breath to steady your excited heart, you risked glancing up at your best friend. You were expecting to be disappointed at the sight before you, but your heart melted almost as soon as you realized what you were looking at.
Cisco had fallen asleep holding you, head tilted back, laying against the couch and his free arm hanging loosely off the side. You couldn’t help but watch him a little longer than what was acceptable for “just friends.” His soft snore caused his nostrils to flare up every time he exhaled and his mouth was slightly open. You wanted to comment on how he might swallow bugs if he didn’t close it, but you also didn’t want to disrupt this peaceful moment.
It ended for you when something in your pocket vibrated. You quickly pulled out your phone to see a message lit up on your screen. It was from Caitlin and it read:
Are you going to tell him tonight?
Although you had never admitted your feelings to anyone, nor would you ever do such a crazy thing, the team already assumed such emotions between the two of you. Caitlin was the one to swear up and down that Cisco felt the same way, and that if you didn’t do anything about it, you might regret it, and blah blah blah.
Sighing, you set the phone down on the cushion beside you, deciding that it’d be best to just not respond, before tapping Cisco’s shoulder lightly. “Hey, Cisco? Cis?”
“Hmm?” He stirred a little before opening his eyes and blinking a few times. “Huh?”
“Come on. You’re falling asleep. I’ll help you to your room.”
He was surprisingly easy to convince when half asleep and just simple nodded his head and rubbed one of his eyes as he stood up. You took his arm and slowly led him to his room, supervising his movements as he plopped down onto his bed and buried his face in his pillow. Still smiling although the disappointment still hung in the atmosphere, you tucked him in with the four blankets he had at the foot of his bed.
When he turned back around to face you, he frowned. “I’m sorry movie night was ruined, Y/N.”
“Don’t be sorry,” you shook your head, giving him a soft smile. “You’re just exhausted. Get some rest, okay?”
“Are you leaving?” You checked the clock on his nightstand to see it was almost two in the morning. His eyes were already closed and he was trying to stifle a yawn as he mumbled, “It’s late. And dark. You shouldn’t drive.”
You just giggled before saying, “Goodnight, Cisco.”
“Goodnight.”
You watched and waited until his face relaxed once more and the tension in his shoulders disappeared as he fell back into a peaceful slumber. Once he was set, you headed to the couch to pick up your jacket before you noticed the movie was still on. Wesley was helping Buttercup through a dangerous forest, completely grabbing your attention.
Aw, what the hell. You thought to yourself as you sat back down on the couch. The movie wasn’t over yet, so perhaps you’d stay until it was over.
As you watched the movie, you tried not to think about the sleeping man in the room next door. You tried not to think about the warmth he gave when he held you, or the way his hand felt around your waist, or how peaceful he looked when his eyes were closed.
And you definitely didn’t try to think about how tonight didn’t go the way you hoped, just like every movie night. Because you were his best friend and that was more than enough.
Wasn’t it?
