Two weeks later
You just left the local aquarium, and all of you felt like getting something to eat now. Minho had mentioned their planned visit to the aquarium a few days ago, and Chan and Felix had decided to tag along, inviting you as well.
It had been great fun seeing Minjun so fascinated with everything and answering all his questions. Chan and Felix fell back occasionally, taking some private moments as a couple for themselves as well, which left you a lot of time to talk to Minho.
Now, you’re back outside, standing in front of the aquarium. “You’re hungry, mate?” Chan asks, kneeling in front of Minjun.
“Yes,” he nods, wrapping his arms around Minho’s leg and cuddling into him.
“Then let’s go get some food, yeah?” Chan suggests with a warm smile, and Minjun nods.
Minjun glances around before gently tugging at Minho’s trousers. “Daddy?” he asks, and Minho hums in response. “Up?” he asks, seeming a little intimidated by all the people after the peace and quiet at the aquarium.
“Come here, dumpling,” he chuckles, picking him up. He tickles his side, pulling a sweet giggle from him, and kisses his cheek. “Let’s go eat, yeah?”
“Yes,” he nods, much more content up here now.
Felix looks up from his phone and taps Chan’s shoulder. “Babe? I found something,” he tells him, and Chan’s hand finds his as he leans over to glance at his phone.
“There’s a small restaurant not far from here that offers a lot for kids,” Chan tells them after humming agreeingly. “They even have a small playground in the back in case he gets bored and some coloring sheets.”
“Oh, guys, seriously, we can go wherever you want. He can still have some of mine if they don’t have kids' portions,” he assures them, and you notice his slight discomfort.
“I don’t mind, it looks good,” you agree with Chan.
“Minho hyung, relax; there’s plenty of stuff for all of us there. We don’t mind, honestly,” Felix assures him with his usual bright smile.
“Okay then,” Minho nods with a shy smile.
The theme restaurant is vibrant, decked out in bright colors, and adorned with characters from children’s shows. It was every kid’s dream, but as you sit down and look over the menu, Minho feels a familiar sense of dread begin to settle in. You excuse yourself for the bathroom and leave them for a moment.
“What would you like to eat, Minjun?” Minho asks, pointing to pictures of various kid-friendly options. “They have dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets, or maybe you’d like some noodles?”
Minjun scrunches up his face and shakes his head fiercely. “No! I don’t want those!” he protests loudly, causing a few nearby customers to glance over.
Minho’s heart sinks; they are in his son’s favorite type of restaurant, yet the usual struggle is unfolding. “Come on, buddy, you love dinosaurs. These nuggets look fun,” he tries to keep his voice cheerful, but the frustration is hard to mask.
“I don’t want it! I want to go home!” Minjun’s voice starts to rise, edging towards a tantrum.
Minho shoots his friends an apologizing look and shakes his head gently. “Baby, we'll eat here as we said.”
“They have your favorite noodles, Jiho; look,” Felix tries to help, showing him on the menu.
“No!” Minjun swats his hand aside. Felix blinks in surprise but draws his hand back with an apologetic grin toward Minho.
“Minjun, hey,” Minho says more firmly than he intended. “I know you're upset, but we don't hit people. Say sorry to Lix, baby,” he lessens the firmness in his voice again.
“Sorry, uncle Lix,” Minjun says timidly, tears starting to form in his eyes.
“It's okay,” Lix assures him gently.
Minho takes Minjun's little hands into his and gently smiles. “Thank you, buddy. You still don't want to eat?” he asks.
Minjun shakes his head, avoiding his eyes. By the time you arrive, Minjun is on the verge of tears, and Minho is feeling the stares of other people, each look like a weight added to his shoulders.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” you ask gently, taking your seat next to Minho.
“He doesn’t want to eat anything,” Minho explains, rubbing his temples. Chan gently pats his back, trying to calm him a little.
You turn to Minjun, your expression thoughtful. “You know, I was really hoping you could help me with something,” you begin, speaking directly to Minjun. “I’m super hungry, and I can’t decide what to eat. Maybe you could choose something for me? What do you think is good here?”
Minjun, now distracted from his brewing fit, looks curiously at you. “Fries…or dino nuggies...” he mumbles, still upset but intrigued by the involvement in the decision-making.
“Great choice. But I heard this place has a secret dish that’s really, really cool,” you whisper conspiratorially. “It’s a magic pizza that makes everyone super happy when they eat it. Do you think we should try it?”
Minjun nods, a slight smile breaking through his frown. “Okay, we can try,” he agrees shyly.
You wink at Minho, who looks at you in astonishment as you get up. You talk a word in private to your waiter before the rest orders their things. While they wait for the food, you engage Minjun in a conversation about the aquarium you had visited earlier, effectively diverting his attention from the earlier situation.
When the food arrives, the pizza is presented by the waiter, who plays along with the 'magic' theme, sprinkling imaginary dust over it. “Enjoy your magic pizza, brave knight!” he exclaims, leaving Minjun giggling.
“See, it’s magic because it makes you smile,” You say, taking a small slice and offering it to Minjun. “You want to try some magic?”
Minjun hesitates for just a moment, glancing at his father.
“Go on, baby,” Minho encourages him.
Minjun nods before taking a tiny bite. His eyes widen in surprise. “It’s good!” he declares, a genuine smile spreading across his face.
Minho watches the scene, a mixture of relief and gratitude washing over him. He smiles at you, mouthing a silent "thank you." The rest of the meal goes smoothly, with Minjun even trying some salad from Felix's plate and some noodles from Chan's.
As they leave the restaurant, Minho feels lighter than he has in days. “You really have a way with him,” he says to you as you walk toward the park.
“It’s all about making it fun, turning it into a game,” you giggle. “Sometimes, kids just need a little distraction from their worries, even if it's about food.”
Minho nods, watching Minjun run ahead to the playground with Chan and Felix. “I guess I need to be a bit more creative with meals,”  he admits.
“Or just call me when it’s time to eat,” you joke, and you both laugh.
The rest of the afternoon passes in a blur of laughter and play, with Minjun in high spirits, having forgotten all about the lunchtime drama. As Chan and Lix say their goodbyes, Minho feels not just the exhaustion from a day well spent but a profound appreciation for his friends.
“Thanks again, Y/nnie. Today could have gone a lot differently without you,” Minho says as you part ways with them.
“Anytime, Minho,” you reply with a warm smile.
“Let me drive you home? You're on our way after all,” he says, and you take his offer.
Minho gets Minjun settled in the back before driving off. “Y/nnie?” Minjun's little voice comes from the back.
“Yes, buddy?” you ask, turning to face him.
“Stay?” he asks, and you frown at him gently.
“Stay where Minjunnie?” you ask.
“With us?” he asks timidly.
Minho glances at his son through the mirror. He can see the need in his eyes and swallows hard. He knows how much his son sometimes longs for someone else besides him. He asked about his mother before seeing other kids at the playground.
You glance at Minho nervously, not quite knowing how to respond without hurting either of them. “You mean for dinner?” you ask, trying to find a way out.
“No…always,” he says softly, his big round eyes watching you timidly.
Minho stops at a red light and stares out of the window, avoiding your look. His grip around the steering wheel tightens as his thoughts start spiraling, once more feeling like he isn't enough for his son. He knows he isn't.
“Oh, love,” you say quietly and reach back for him. “It's okay, you know, we see each other sooo often, and I'm always at the company.”
“But I miss you,” he says softly, and you honestly don't know what to say about that.
“You want to stay for dinner?” Minho speaks up quietly, and you look back at him. He sees the hesitation written all over your face and swallows softly. “It would be fine,” he assures you quietly.
You nod slowly, considering Minho's quiet offer. "I can stay for dinner, Minjunnie," you tell him, smiling as his face lights up. Minho gives you a grateful look, the tension easing from his shoulders as he turns back to the road.
The rest of the drive is spent in a comfortable silence, broken only by Minjun's occasional chatter from the back seat, talking about his day at the aquarium and the 'magic' pizza he had enjoyed. You listen, amused by his excitement and the way his eyes sparkle when he recounts his adventures.
Arriving at their home, Minho helps Minjun out of the car and into the house, with you following close behind. The familiar warmth of their home greets you and you slip off your shoes at the door, following Minho into the kitchen.
"I can help with dinner," you offer as Minho begins pulling ingredients from the refrigerator.
"Thanks," Minho says, his voice soft. "I think I'm just going to make something simple I know he likes. Is some pasta okay with you?"
"Perfect," you reply, setting the table while Minho starts cooking. Minjun hovers between the two of you, occasionally helping by passing ingredients or stirring the sauce under Minho's watchful eye.
As the pasta cooks, you and Minho chat about work and plans for the upcoming week. The conversation is light, but there’s an undercurrent of something deeper, something unspoken lingering between the lines.
Dinner is ready in no time, and you all sit down to eat. Minjun chatters happily, clearly enjoying having both of his favorite two people together. The meal is delicious, and you compliment Minho on his cooking, which makes him smile with pride.
After dinner, Minho insists on cleaning up, so you take Minjun into the living room to play a game. As you build a tower of blocks, Minjun's earlier request echoes in your mind. You glance towards the kitchen, where Minho is quietly washing dishes, and your heart twitches with a mixture of affection and concern.
"You're really good at building things," you comment, watching Minjun place another block on the tower.
"Daddy says I'm good too," Minjun states proudly, his concentration evident as he places each block.
"Of course he does," you encourage him, your thoughts still on his request to have you stay. It wasn't just about tonight—it was about all the nights and all the days. He wanted you there, a permanent fixture in their lives.
When Minho returns, drying his hands on a towel, he finds you and Minjun laughing as your tower wobbles before toppling over. He can’t help but smile at the sight, feeling a warmth spread through him he hasn't felt in a while, not like this. He watches you, studying your features as he has so many times before, and something in him screams not to think you're beautiful. But you are. Lately, he can't help but notice it again and again.
"Ready for bed, buddy?" Minho asks after checking the time.
Minjun pouts but nods, knowing that bedtime is non-negotiable. You help Minho get him ready for bed, a routine that feels both familiar and strangely intimate. Minho reads Minjun a bedtime story, and you watch, feeling a part of this little family.
After Minjun falls asleep, you and Minho settle on the couch with cups of tea. The house is quiet; the only sound is the occasional distant car passing by.
"Minjun seems to be getting attached to you," Minho begins, breaking the silence. "More than just as Y/nnie from work.” You nod, unsure of what to say, feeling the weight of Minjun's request weighing on you both. "I've been thinking about it," Minho continues. "About what he said in the car. It's not just that he misses you, Y/nnie. I think... I think he's looking for that missing piece. A family."
You meet his eyes, seeing the vulnerability there. "Minho, I-"
"I know it's a lot," he cuts you off, his voice gentle. "And I'm not asking for anything, not really. I just... I want you to know that you're already part of our family. If you ever want that, for real, it's yours. But no pressure. I mean it."
The offer hangs in the air, profound and sincere. You take a deep breath, feeling the significance of his words settles around you. You’ve grown to love Minjun and Minho, too, in a way that is more than just friendly concern.
"Thank you, Minho," you finally say, your voice thick with emotion. "That means more than you know. I love being with you guys. It feels like home."
Minho reaches out, his hand covering yours hesitantly. "That's all I needed to hear," he says with a relieved smile. “You can stay with him as much as you want to. There's no one else I trust him with as much as you.”
“Thank you,” you tell him, your hand still feeling warm as he draws his own back again.
You stay a little longer, talking and planning for the coming weeks until the yawns get the better of both of you.
As you leave, Minho walks you to the cab he called, and the night air is cool and comforting. "Stay safe, Y/nnie," he says, leaning close to hug you. You hug him back, a little surprised. "See you tomorrow."
"See you," you reply, the warmth of his hug lingering as you drive away, the image of Minjun’s sleepy smile and Minho’s thankful eyes etched in your mind.
Tonight, Minho’s words feel true in your heart—you are part of their family. And as the city lights blur past, you realize how much you’re looking forward to what the future might hold. Yes, you're delusional enough to hope there could be something deeper than what you have now.
-
At first, you were still hesitant about staying with them so often, knowing how important it was for them to have some time to themselves. Over the following weeks, dinner with them grew into a part of your daily routine. You and Minjun spend a lot of time together in the kitchen, trying out new dishes, which makes eating a fun experience for the little one. This allows Minho to wrap up things at the company in peace, able to focus on himself for a little without having to worry about his little troublemaker. Minjun looks forward to cooking with you in the evening which makes saying goodbye to his father so much easier.
With all the cooking, you two start making extras for everyone. You know they have a fridge at the company where they store their personal stuff, so you and Minjun start filling it regularly. It delights them all, always finding a fresh meal for whatever time of the day or night if your name is Chan. It feels like you're not only part of Minho's private, small family but also his bigger family at work.
It’s been almost a month since Minho’s offer to be part of this family, and you didn’t regret it one bit. You all found your routine by now, and you had a spare key to their house, allowing you to get home earlier with Minjun. It means a lot to you that Minho trusts you when you tell him you’re taking his son home. Minho and you have grown closer, knowing how much it meant to both of them that Minho was sharing his home with you.
It’s getting harder with every passing day to ignore how much he means to you. How beautiful he is when he’s wrapped up in a blanket, hair messily falling into his face, a wide smile on his face as he’s fooling around with Minjun. How treasured the sound of his genuine laugh after a long day had gotten. How caring he is for both Minjun and now, to some extent you. How strong he is for his kid, making sure to excel both at work and at being a father when all he wants is to hide away sometimes.
Tonight, you and Minjun decided to make dumplings and surprise Minho with them for dinner. The kitchen is soon filled with the aroma of spices, the rhythmic sounds of chopping, and laughter. Minjun, your little bundle of energy, is sitting on a chair next to you, his eyes bright with excitement. You patiently show him how to prepare the filling, and Minjun watches, eager to learn.
“Okay, Minjunnie, you want to try mixing?” you ask, handing him a large spoon.
“Yes,” he nods quickly, taking the spoon with both hands. His attempts are messy but earnest, and you can’t help but laugh as a bit of the filling spills over the side of the bowl.
“Good job, buddy! Now, let’s make the dumplings,” you encourage him, showing him how to place a small amount of filling in the center of a wrapper. You demonstrate pinching the edges together, a technique that has taken you a while to master. Minjun tries to mimic you, his small fingers fumbling at first, but with each attempt, his technique improves. “You’re a natural!” you compliment him and get the sweetest smile in return. Once more, you realize how similar he looks to Minho when he smiles, cheeks grow squishy, eyes squint in joy, and the bunny teeth show.
Later, as the dumplings steam, Minjun's attention shifts to the window. "When is Daddy coming home?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern.
"Soon, I think. He might be very tired, though. He had a long dance practice today," you reply, checking the dumplings.
As if on cue, the door opens with a soft creak, and Minho steps in, his face showing signs of exhaustion. Minjun runs to him immediately, almost tripping over his feet, wrapping his little arms around Minho's legs.
"Daddy! You're home!" Minjun exclaims, looking up with a smile that falters as he notices Minho's tired expression.
"Hey, little chef," Minho says, his voice weary as he bends down to scoop Minjun into his arms. "Did you make all these dumplings?"
Minjun nods proudly, and then his face turns serious. "Daddy, are you okay? You look sad."
Minho manages a tired smile. "Just a bit tired from practice, baby. But I'll be okay. Smelling those dumplings definitely makes me feel better."
You watch them, your heart swelling with affection but also concern for Minho. Lately, the dance practices have been intense, often leaving him drained. "Let's eat! I bet your daddy's hungry," you suggest, ushering them to the dining table where the dumplings were now ready, steaming hot and inviting.
The meal is cheerful, with Minjun chatting about his day and the dumplings he helped make. Minho eats with evident pleasure, praising Minjun's efforts, which makes the boy glow with pride. However, you notice Minho grimacing slightly every time he moves his shoulder.
After dinner, while Minjun is occupied with his coloring books, you approach Minho. "You're really pushing yourself hard, aren't you?" you ask softly, concern coloring your tone.
Minho sighs, rubbing his shoulder. "Yeah, the new routine is tough. But it’s what I love to do."
You nod, your hands reaching out instinctively to his shoulder, your fingers pressing gently. "Maybe I can help a little," you offer.
Reluctantly, Minho agrees, and as your skilled hands work over his sore muscles, he feels the tension beginning to ease. The room is quiet besides Minjun's occasional hums as he colors and Minho’s low hisses whenever your fingers meet a tense spot.
"Thank you, Y/nnie," Minho murmurs, genuinely grateful.
"It's nothing," you reply, your hands steady.
As you settle into the evening, Minho watching Minjun draw and you tidying up the kitchen, you feel complete, having spent a day well. The night ends with Minjun falling asleep early, curled up on the couch with his favorite blanket in Minho’s lap. “I’ll better get going,” you say with a glance at the clock. “I’ll be late on set tomorrow; I have an important call about a possible photoshoot for you before…but I’ll make sure someone’s there to keep Minjun occupied until then.”
“Alright,” Minho nods thankfully. “Get home safe, yeah?”
“Always,” you promise and gently squeeze his shoulder as you leave.
-
The next morning dawns bright and early for you. After a quick breakfast and the call, you make your way to the set where Minho is filming the music video for the song with Chan. Today's plan includes picking up Minjun from Minho’s set and treating him to some ice cream—a little surprise to break the monotony of his dad's long shooting days.
Upon arrival, you notice the usual hustle and bustle of the set, but with an added layer of excitement given the complex scenes scheduled for the day. As you navigate through the crowd of crew members and equipment, you spot Minjun sitting near one of the monitors, his eyes wide with fascination as he watches his father perform.
"Y/nnie!" he exclaims, his face lighting up as he sees you approaching. He runs over, nearly tripping over a cable before you scoop him up into a hug.
"Hey, my little star! Watching Daddy work, huh?" you say, smiling as you set him down.
"Yeah, Daddy’s really cool!" Minjun responds, his enthusiasm infectious. You chat briefly about what he's been watching before steering the conversation towards the day’s special plan.
"So, how about we grab some ice cream after this? Just you and me," you suggest, watching his reaction closely.
Minjun’s face splits into a broad grin. "Ice cream! Yes, please! Can we get chocolate?" he asks, bouncing on the balls of his feet.
"Chocolate it is. Let’s go," you reply, your heart warmed by his excitement.
The ice cream shop isn't far, and the walk there is filled with Minjun's chatter about the various things he’s learned from watching his father on set. You listen, amused and impressed by his observations and memory.
Arriving at the shop, Minjun presses his nose against the glass display, his eyes scanning the array of flavors. "Two chocolates, please!" he declares when it’s your turn to order.
With the cones in your hands, you find a spot outside on a bench. Minjun eagerly attacks his ice cream, and the chocolate soon smudges his lips and cheeks. You can't help but laugh, pulling out a few napkins to clean him up.
"Y/nnie, do you like being with me and Daddy?" Minjun asks suddenly, his tone serious, as he looks up at you with those big eyes.
"I love it, Minjun. Being with you and your dad is the best part of my day," you answer honestly, touched by his question.
Minjun nods, seemingly satisfied with your response, and returns his attention to the rapidly melting ice cream. "Good. You're fun," he adds, his words muffled by a mouthful of chocolate.
As you sit there, watching Minjun enjoy his treat, you reflect on the changes in your life since joining their little family. Each day has brought its challenges and joys, but moments like these highlight the beautiful simplicity of your new life.
About half an hour later, you decide to make your way back, not knowing what mess your little surprise caused.
Minho brushes a strand of hair from his face, eyes flickering to Minjun’s prior spot, only to notice he isn’t there anymore. He frowns and quickly scans the room, a shiver running down his spine when he can’t find his son anywhere. “Chan hyung,” he asks, terrified, grabbing his friend's arm.
Chan turns toward him, frowning, confused. “Hey, what’s wrong? Are you okay?” he asks worriedly, seeing the fear in his eyes.
“Where’s Minjun?” he asks, and Chan glances around the room, not finding him either.
“Baby, where’s Jiho?” he asks Felix, who’s already looking. “Min, who was watching him?”
Minho inhales shakily, his hands trembling by now, and his stomach tightens in pain. “I…He was right there the whole time,” he says, pointing at the now-empty chair next to the cameras. “Hyung, he was right there and-.”
“Breathe,” Felix tries gently, wrapping his arm around him. “He’ll be okay, yeah?”
“You don’t know that,” he shakes his head, anxiously watching Chan, who’s talking to their staff and trying to figure out who had seen him last. “Fuck, I shouldn’t have stopped watching him,” he whispers, and Felix squeezes him gently. Chan quietly ushers their team from the set so it’s only them, and pulls out his phone. Minho braces himself on his knees and squeezes his eyes closed as a wave of nausea crashes over him. “I’m gonna throw up,” he whispers, and Felix soothingly rubs his back, reminding him to breathe. He exchanges a worried glance with his boyfriend, anxiously biting the nail of his thumb.
The door opens, and you step inside, accompanied by a brightly smiling Minjun, who’s carrying a small bag of waffles for all of them. You look up, startled, and notice how empty the room is now, as well as Minho’s anxious form. Is he having a panic attack? Minho looks up, and the moment his eyes meet yours, something in his anxious expression changes. The fear makes room for a sudden coldness you’re not used to, which quickly gets replaced by anger. “Where the fuck were you?” he asks dangerously low.
“Minho, what’s wrong?” you respond, confusion evident in your tone as you hold Minjun’s hand a little tighter.
Minho pushes himself to his feet. “You took him. Without telling anyone? That’s what’s wrong!” His voice rises with each word, the strain of the moment overtaking his usual composure.
You glance down at Minjun, whose smile fades as he senses the tension. “I…we just went for some ice cream,” you explain, your voice steady despite the rising anxiety. “Minjun wanted to surprise you with-”
“A surprise? By letting me think my son had gone missing?” Minho snaps back, his words sharp and biting. “You don’t just take him, Y/n! Not without telling me.”
Minjun’s eyes begin to water, and his lower lip trembles as he looks up at his father and then at you. “Daddy, I wanted to.” His voice is a whisper, drowned out by the escalating argument.
“Not now, Minjun,” Minho says, a bit too harshly, his focus still fixed on you. "What were you thinking, Y/n?" he snaps, his voice laced with accusation. "You know you're supposed to let me know before taking Minjun out!"
You swallow hard at the sharpness of his tone, your eyes wide with surprise and hurt. "I'm sorry, Minho," you reply, your voice trembling slightly. Fuck. "I didn't think it would be a big deal. We were only gone for half an hour."
But Minho was beyond reason, his frustration bubbling over. "It is a big deal!" he insists, his expression one of betrayal. “I trusted you. How could you just take him without telling me? What if something had happened? How would you explain that, huh?”
Your heart clenches at his words, the hurt evident. “Minho, I would never put Minjun in danger. You know that.”
“No, I don’t,” Minho says harshly, making you take a step back, your grip on Minjun’s trembling hand loosening. What?
“Let’s all just take a breath, okay? This is getting out of hand,” Felix suggests, looking between you and Minho with concern. “Minjun is safe. He was with Y/nnie, and they weren’t far.”
"Minho, calm down," Chan steps in, seeing the clear shock written all over your face, his voice firm. "He was just trying to help out. You're overreacting."
But Minho now turns his anger towards Chan, his frustration boiling over. "Stay out of this, Chan," he snaps at him, his tone cutting. "This is between me and Y/n. This is about my kid."
“Calm the fuck down right now, Min,” Chan says, his voice rising as well.
“Channie, baby, please,” Felix chimes in, fearing that his involvement would only make it worse.
You let go of Minjun’s hand, looking at Minho timidly. “I thought you trusted me with him. You left him at home with me all the time, Minho. How is that any different?”
“The fucking difference is I knew!” he yells at you at the top of his lungs.
Minjun flinches, the bag dropping to the floor. His face crumples, big tears spill down his face, and a loud cry ripples through him. Felix quickly scoops him up, walks a little away from the whole mess, and soothingly talks to him. It’s the first time Minjun has allowed Felix to comfort him when he’s upset, curling up in his arms.
You nod gently and shakily pull the keys to his house from your pocket. “That doesn’t give you an excuse to be such a fucking asshole,” you say, more calmy than you feel right now. “You just ruined his day; congratulations. Here, I won’t need them anymore,” you say, throwing the keys to his feet. “I’ll send you an email with your schedule for next week and make sure to find a proper replacement.”
“Y/nnie,” Minho breathes out, the reality of your words slowly settling in.
“Don’t Y/nnie me, not after this,” you shake your head and grab your jacket. “I’m sorry, Chan, I really liked working for you guys. You’re amazing,” you tell him before leaving, tears burning in your eyes painfully.
As soon as the door closes, Chan snaps at him. “What the fuck is wrong with you, Minho?!” he yells. “Are you insane? You just lost the one person who’s always been there for you. The one person your son felt comfortable around. You wouldn’t still be here without him; I hope you know that!”
“Fuck off!” Minho snaps back at him, feeling cornered.
“No, you fuck off! Minjun has no one to look after him when you’re busy except Y/nnie. Without Y/nnie, you wouldn’t even be part of the group anymore because you can’t fucking handle it on your own!” he says, and seeing Minho’s face fall, he knows he went too far.
“Chris!” Felix raises his voice at him, looking at him shocked.
“Well, thank you for finally being honest with me,” Minho says dryly, nodding to himself.
“Min, he didn’t mean it like that,” Felix tries gently as Minho makes his way over to them.
“Give me my son, please,” he says quietly. Minjun nearly screams as he eases him out of Felix’s hold. He flinches back, eyes filling with tears at the broken sound.
Felix worriedly glances down at the little boy clinging to him tightly. “Minjunnie, you’re gonna go home, okay?” he asks, growing anxious, at him shaking his head firmly. “Your daddy’s gonna take you home now,” he says, gently lifting him off his chest.
Minjun shakes his head, sobbing heavily, and holds onto his shirt tightly. “No, Daddy’s stupid!”
Minho carefully eases Felix’s shirt from his son’s hands and takes him into his arms. Minjun starts kicking, hitting his chest. Minho presses his lips together tightly, tears threatening to spill from his eyes. “I’m sorry,” he says quietly, holding onto him tightly so he won’t slip from his grip. Minjun wails in his arms, still fighting him as he carries him outside to the car. “I’m so sorry, buddy. Daddy’s an idiot,” he tells him shakily, the seatbelt slipping from his fingers repeatedly. “I’m sorry,” he whispers, finally managing to buckle him up. He closes the door to the car and tries to hold back the sob threatening to leave him.
“You forgot your stuff,” Chan says softly, suddenly next to him.
Minho quickly wipes his cheeks with his sleeve and takes the bag from him. “Thanks,” he mutters, not meeting his eyes.
“Min…I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that,” he says carefully. “You’re doing your best, and we all know it. That wasn’t fair,” he tells him.
Minho throws the bag onto the passenger’s seat and shakes his head, sniffling. “It’s fine. You were right. I suck at this, and I’d do you all a favor if I quit until he’s older.”
“Don’t say that,” Chan says gently, shaking his head. “We couldn’t do this without you.”
“I highly doubt that,” he says, voice breaking.
“Minnie,” he says quietly.
“Fuck, Channie hyung, I messed it all up,” he finally breaks down, hot tears spilling down his cheeks.
Chan pulls him into a tight hug, swallowing at how hard Minho is trembling in his arms. “What happened in there, hm? You’re usually not like this,” he asks carefully, and Minho shakes his head with a sob. Chan chews on his lower lip, realizing this could possibly go deeper than he thought, considering Minho’s insecurities regarding raising his kid right. The question hung in the air, heavier than the silence that followed. “Look, I know you’re doing this whole parenting thing on your own, and you’re doing an amazing job,” Chan continues, soothingly rubbing his back. “But you can’t let your fear make you forget who your allies are. Y/n loves Minjun almost as much as you do. He wouldn’t just take him without any consideration of the risks.”
Minho’s eyes met Chan’s, a mixture of anger and sorrow battling within. “I know. I just... When I didn’t see him, all I could think about was all the things that could go wrong. He’s everything I have, Channie. He's my baby, and no one can just take him without telling me.”
Chan nods, smiling at him sadly. “I know, mate, I know,” he assures him. “Let me drive you two home, okay? You shouldn’t be driving right now,” he says, and Minho nods weakly. “Come on,” he urges him gently. Minho slips into the passenger’s seat, wiping his cheeks with his sleeves messily. Chan notices Felix a few steps away, anxiously chewing on his lower lip. “You’re coming with us, baby? We can take a cab from there,” he tells him, and his boyfriend nods quickly.
“You really think he’ll quit?” Felix asks timidly.
“Min? No, he-” he says, but Felix shakes his head.
“No, Y/nnie,” he says, chewing on his lower lip anxiously. “That would be the worst thing for Minjun.”
“I don’t know, baby,” he shakes his head. “That depends on Min and Y/nnie. We can’t do much; they have to be okay…but Minho feels like shit for it,” he sighs and kisses his cheek. “It’ll be okay, baby.”
“Mhm, maybe,” Felix nods before slipping into the back to Minjun, who’s still crying softly.
“L-Lix,” he whimpers and reaches for him again.
“Hey, buddy,” he says gently, taking his hand. “It’s okay, yeah? We’re taking you home now, okay?”
“O-Okay,” he hiccups.
Minho remains quiet during the ride home, silent tears running down his cheeks as he’s biting his lower lip hard. Minjun cries quietly in the back as Felix tries to soothe him a little.
They reach their house not much later, and Felix carries Minjun inside. He exchanges a long look with Chan before moving Minjun to the room with all his toys.
Minho's face is a canvas of frustration, marked by the occasional wipe to remove the tears running down his cheeks. Chan gently guides him to the sofa and sits down with him.
"Minho, man, we need to talk about what happened," Chan begins, his voice firm yet gentle, trying to cut through the tension.
Minho nods, not meeting Chan's eyes, his gaze fixed on the floor. "I know, I know I messed up. It's just... when I couldn't see Minjun, everything went black. I panicked, Channie hyung."
Chan places a hand on Minho's shoulder, squeezing it reassuringly. "I get that, really, I do. The fear of losing Minjun is real and valid, but the way you handled it with Y/n wasn't fair. You trust Y/nnie, don't you?"
"I do, but at that moment, all that trust just... vanished. I just felt so out of control," Minho confesses, his voice cracking with emotion.
"It’s important to remember that Y/n cares about Minjun almost as much as you do. He wouldn't have taken him without considering his safety. But I think this goes deeper, Minho. This isn't just about today, is it?" Chan observes, trying to dig deeper into Minho's fears.
Minho sighs, a long, weary sound that seems to carry the weight of the world. "It's everything, Chan. The pressure of work, trying to be there for Minjun, getting closer to Y/n, and not knowing where the line is—it's all piling up. And today, I just... broke."
Chan nods, understanding more than Minho realizes. "You're not alone in this. You've got us, you've got Y/n…you need to fix this."
Minho wipes his face. "Maybe you're right. I need to handle this better, for Minjun and for myself."
"And you need to apologize to Y/n properly. He deserves that much, Minho. He's been here for you through thick and thin."
Minho knows Chan is right. The thought of facing you was daunting but necessary. He owes you an apology, one that acknowledges his overreaction and the hurt it caused.
-
Later that day, after taking some time to compose himself and gather his thoughts, Minho found Minjun playing quietly in his room. His little boy looks up, his face still showing signs of the day's stress.
"Hey, buddy... can we talk?" Minho sits beside him on the floor, his tone gentle. Minjun nods, his eyes curious and a bit cautious.
"I want to apologize, Minjun. Daddy got very scared today when I couldn’t find you, and I didn’t handle it well. I shouted, and that wasn’t right. I’m sorry for scaring you," Minho starts, his heart heavy.
Minjun moves closer, leaning into his dad. "Okay, Daddy… Y/nnie bought ice cream."
"I know, and it was a wonderful idea. I’m sorry for ruining it. And I’m sorry for how I spoke to Y/nnie. He didn’t deserve that. I’m going to apologize to him, too," Minho says.
"Do you still like Y/nnie, Daddy?" Minjun’s small voice is filled with worry.
"I do, very much. Y/nnie is important to us, right? I made a big mistake today, and I hope he can forgive me," Minho explains, hoping his son could understand.
Minjun hugs him tightly, "I forgive you, Daddy."
Minho chuckles softly, hugging his son back. "Thank you, baby."
Two weeks later
Life had once more settled into a stressful rhythm for Minho following the upheaval of his outburst and its emotional aftermath. Days morphed into weeks with Minjun by his side; each one layered with the joys and challenges of single parenthood, combined with his demanding schedule. Despite his deep love for his son, the strain of juggling his roles was evident.
Minho is preparing Minjun's backpack for the day, his movements automatic. The routine is well-practiced but no less draining. Minjun is playing on the carpet, glancing at his father suspiciously as he's preparing breakfast.
“Daddy, you okay?” Minjun’s small voice cuts through the morning stillness, his eyes wide with concern.
Minho pauses, taken aback by the question. “Of course, buddy,” he replies, forcing a smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes. “Why do you ask?”
“You're tired,” Minjun says simply.
Minho sighs, the weight of his exhaustion settling deeper on his shoulders. He is tired—more than tired. Each day felt like a battle, each night a too-short break from it all.
Later that day, after getting Minjun settled, the effects of chronic stress, sleep deprivation, and emotional turmoil begin to manifest more aggressively. As he moves through the complex choreography, his steps start to falter, his usually sharp movements grow sluggish, and his focus wanes.
“Minho, take five!” Chan calls out. “You’re off today, man. Everything alright?”
Minho nods mutely, too spent to formulate a response. He retreats to a quiet corner, his breath uneven, his heart racing uncomfortably in his chest. He presses the heels of his hands into his eyes, trying to stave off the dizziness that threatened to overwhelm him.
Just as he felt like he'd be fine, a sharp pain clutched at his chest, his breathing growing labored, and the room seemed to tilt on its axis. Panic claws at his mind as he staggers, trying to call out for help, but his voice is a mere whisper.
“Minho!” He hears someone shout and feels hands steadying him just before everything goes dark.
When Minho regains consciousness, he finds himself on a couch in the studio’s lounge, surrounded by concerned faces—Chan, Jeongin, and Felix, holding a distressed Minjun. An ambulance siren wails in the distance, growing louder as it approaches.
“What… what happened?” Minho manages to ask, his voice weak.
“You collapsed, man. Scared the hell out of us,” Chan replies, his expression tight with worry.
The paramedics arrive swiftly, assessing Minho quickly. Blood pressure high, heart rate erratic, they murmur words like "exhaustion" and "stress" as they prepare him for transport to the hospital.
The hospital tests confirm what Minho had tried to ignore: he was suffering from severe exhaustion combined with stress. The doctor’s advice was obvious. "You need to rest, Mr. Lee. Your body is telling you it can’t keep up this pace. If you ignore this warning, the next incident could be more severe."
Minho lies back on the hospital bed, the sterile white of the room a stark contrast to the vibrancy of his daily life. The words hit hard, a sobering reminder of his mortality and the stark reality of his responsibilities as a father.
Chan, who had accompanied him, squeezes his shoulder. “You gotta take care of yourself, Minho. For Minjun’s sake, if not your own.”
“I know,” Minho murmurs, the gravity of his situation settling in. “I just… thought I could handle it all.”
Chan’s look is sympathetic but firm. “No one can handle everything alone, Min. You need to let others help. Maybe it’s time to reach out to Y/nnie again. For support.”
The suggestion lingers in the air between them, heavy with implications. Minho’s thoughts drift to you, your warmth, your laughter, and the comfort you brought to both him and Minjun. The thought of reaching out, of potentially being rejected, is terrifying, yet the fear of what might happen if he continued on his current path is greater.
Anxiously, Minho makes the decision to call you from the hospital, his heart pounding as he dials the familiar number. The phone rings, each tone echoing like a drumbeat in his tense silence.
“Hello?” you ask, cautious yet warm.
“Y/nnie, it’s Minho. I… I need to talk to you. It’s important.” His voice is unsteady, and his admission of need is a significant release of his tightly held pride. “I…I need help.”
There’s a pause, a breath held, and then released. “I'm listening.”
Minho's voice wavers as he speaks, the hospital's fluorescent lights casting stark shadows across his face. "I... I had an incident today at rehearsals. I collapsed," he confesses, the words tasting like defeat but necessary in their truth.
You suck in a sharp breath at his words. "Minho, are you okay? Where are you now?" you ask, your voice thick with worry.
"I'm at the hospital. They're telling me it’s stress and exhaustion. Nothing life-threatening, but...can you look after Minjun for a few days?” he asks, chewing on his lower lip as you're silent for a while.
“So you're suddenly trusting me again?” you ask dryly.
Minho takes a moment to answer. “Minjun does…that tells me everything I should need to know,” he says quietly. “I've been an asshole, okay? I know I was. Once I'm better…can we talk? Really talk?” he asks timidly.
You sigh softly, rubbing your face. “Where is he?”
“He's with Lix,” he tells you, heart racing in his chest as you didn't answer his question.
"Get some rest, Minho. We'll sort everything else out later," you reply, your voice a soothing balm to Minho’s frayed nerves. Shit, he missed you.
“Thank you,” he says, tears burning in his eyes.
“Just…take care, okay? Your little boy needs you,” you say quietly.
“I will.”

Can you make a post about how you choose colors plz ? I'm really curious about your process
this is such a difficult question to answer bc really the way i approach colors is mostly reliant on what I find interesting and I do struggle with them, but i'll try my best to answer!
before I even start working on my piece, I like to gather a bunch of refs and think about the vibe I want to achieve since colors and values change the piece drastically. personally, I like to play around with purple a lot so usually I start with a light purple for the undertone/sky background color and I find that it helps a lot to work above that rather than the white of the canvas, it also helps me bring purple back into the shadows! I think my "secret" to why my paintings are so colorful is that I start by blocking in as many colors/shapes as I can using a brush with the color dynamics setting on, I find that it creates a good base fast without having to manually pick every single hue by hand. It's also important to try many different palettes and not be scared of scrapping something and repainting from scratch bc that's how you're able to tell what works and what doesn't! it also creates many ugly stages lol but here's a few screenshots from my process video of Under The Peach Tree as an example of how many times I repainted it
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like to keep in mind what the highlight color will be, for example in this painting I went for a skintone that's closer to the colors of the peaches and the little blanket bc that will tie everything together and make the character feel like they belong in the environment. it's similar in other cases too, for example if the grass is more cool toned then I'd go for some red pink flowers. there's a tool in photoshop that's called selective color which I use a lot as well as curves or color balance, they're all used to adjust the colors that you already have like if I feel that the yellow is not quite right then I try to change it up through those tools and see what's better. it's really a lot of trial and error and just trying things out and seeing what you end up liking, it also ofc comes with practice and learning compositional values.
Tumblr media
I hope this helps 💗 I do upload my process on my patreon, and I've been planning a video specifically on how I paint skin since it's an interesting topic!

As someone who is slowly learning how to do digital art alone, I may have some advices to give to those who want to start and don't have time/resources to spend a lot of time trying and testing out drawing processes.
These are some things that I've found useful but Boi, it got me a lot of time to get to it. Of course, this is just what I think can be a good advice for who is a newbie like me, you can try it as a way to start your coloring process but it's not something professional t.t so take it with a bit of salt
First advice I wanna give is to do like I did during this drawing process: while I keep everything on different layers (skin tone / armor / hair /detail / background), don't just start with one layer and then start another one after rendering the first one.
Multiple times I've noticed how the different tones didn't match to each other, or the colors were simply horrible to see next to each other. I've spent a lot of time fixing this type of issues in my old drawing, always deleting the layers (fully rendered) or trying to change the tone with horrible results.
Instead, if you too happen to have this problem, I'd advice you to first coloring everything with the base color. As you see in the video, as first thing I simply filled the lineart with base colors. It's not clear but I assure you I've changed his skin tone multiple times because it didn't match the armor. Same with the mask and the red details.
This is something you can easily do at the beginning to see if the colors match and are nice to see all together in the bigger picture.
It's really something easy and I'm 100% sure they teach you this literally at the beginning of art school but Boi I'm stupid. I only learn when I do things myself t.t
Change colors as much as you want until you've reached your desired tones. Be careful of saturation levels. To make everything more balanced, play with the hue level for every base color you've used. You don't like how the red is in contrast with the blue? Change the red layer' hue/saturation values a bit and you'll find the perfect type of red you need.
After you are happy with the overall results, start with the rendering.
This is something I recommend to do if you still aren't used to the use of tones/saturation.
If you need some examples of the pieces where I struggled, here you go: this one is probably my fav one even now that I draw from pc.
Before:
Tumblr media
As you can see there isn't balance in the colors. Fulgrim's skin is too much out of everything and in general there is too much differences between the colors. It just doesn't look harmonious. Then:
Tumblr media
I assure you I haven't re-drawn anything here, just fixed the saturation, tones and hue levels (and added a bit more of shadows), yet now everything matches. (i also have changed the color of the lineart in a few places, look at the hair for example).
This might looks obvious to others, but I've spent a lot of time on this piece with the only focus on making those colors look nicely together and with time I've learned from my mistakes.
Another example: the commission I did a few weeks ago. I had to draw an Imperial fist, so you'd expect to see a yellow armor. Considering that I painted the background with red colors, bright yellow would have been quite a shock to see: that's why the base color is not yellow but orange. Same thing the clothes aren't white anymore but a light pink.
Tumblr media
On a white background it looks weird for an IF armor, yet this is the result at the end:
Tumblr media
Yellow is only for the parts hit by the light, where the shadow are more on the red tones. (don't mind the light blue for now)
Of course, you have to take in consideration many things before changing the hues of the original colors, but I hope this could help c:

ㅤthe flustered over thinkers
one who's unbearably confused because he doesn't recall a marriage taking place to wed the two of you at all, he's a little concerned though. he's sure he'd remember such an event? anything with the two of you is practically unforgettable to the fact that when he's in bed only thing he thinks about is you, and the lingering anticipation that he'll see you again in the morning.
besides this said... eventful morning. where you've both apparently upgraded in relationship without his knowledge he can say that he's struggling to hide his steaming ears, hoping you won't notice if he brings the cup of coffee to his face so the steam seems like it's from there.
confused? flustered? thanks for the input! here's your boyfriend husband. doesn't even ask you to explain even though he's twitching to ask you cause if he knows you then you're almost always up to no good, maybe this is one of your tricks but he won't try just for the thought that you're still 'married.' all marriage related things, even the color white is sending his mind into overwire :)

ㅤwe love flirts
ah yes, if we've got the flustered, confused husbands we also need to get our resident flirts who just gives you a side glance and plays along like he knows what game you're playing. absolutely no questions at all because you know he's gonna bring up the topic sooner or later with a tease, he just feels like he has to return the fluster you'd admittedly inflicted on him. (which is apparently by proclaiming you're both married now.)
don't be surprised if you're getting private messages online, or just random people coming up to you asking how you're married in... this golden age, was that even legal there? you're not sure but maybe because everyone was kind of casual about it.
doesn't matter whether you say you're just messing with him. oh, you're done? good for you but he isn't. he's calling you his spouse everywhere, a local restaurant, shop, stall. wherever you say, he claims he's just doing what you asked for the coupons but you've got an inkling he's just got a knack for calling you his lawfully wedded partner.

ㅤlegally in denial
we have the awkward ones who partially accept their fates, the flirts who's living purpose is to get a rise of warmth in your face, and we have the legally in denial ones whom are trying so hard to deny everything you do. you guys are dating?! oh my god... you must be being threatened to do this, where's the culprit?! news flash, there isn't any but even when it's so clear they seem to find every single reason to convince themselves that there's something wrong.
like, please accept our love already. you already called them your husband in broad daylight, is that not enough of proof? what do you mean you're probably gonna divorce him... he doesn't mention the fact of you guys never marrying at all, just jumps in divorce...
sometimes you should punch a man for his self esteem, it must be a struggle trying to convince someone you like, that you indeed like them. crazy, right? he can't take this heart stopping gesture he's watched too many times but will gladly arrange a wedding in minecraft. just tell him you guys got married ever since he put his bed next to yours if he asks since when.
— | idia on his own
ㅤairheads who are simps
the classic group of guys, of which they all are just incredibly down bad for the lead who just so happens to be you! <4 in this case they're so in love that they wouldn't even question anything you say even if you mix up murder and a name in the same sentence! if you trip? oh no, no. it's clearly the fault of the ground, not to worry! he'll even get workers to reconstruct the entire thing.
and yes, he's either rich or has enough influence (if not through intimidation.) anyways, if they're mad because of a horrible day just walk in a room and then the dark cloud over their heads just floats away and is replaced by hearts in their eyes.
a prank? oh you're funny. what ever do you mean? you're both clearly married. he's got the papers right here *materializes one.* where did that even come from?! say it once, now you've planted something that won't go away in their heads and it's going to shift to reality one way or another :)
— | kalim, floyd, malleus, rook.
ㅤchill mister tsunderes
takes a deep breath* screeches* yeah that's pretty much it. the people (possibly pertaining to just one person, cause he almost always needs his own category.) who try to refuse your existing even if you just cough. keyword: try because even if you're dating them they're still struggling to wrap their head around the fact that they are dating you so maybe their coping mechanism is just refusing to admit you make their hearts go boom boom??
is completely torn whether to screech again (preferably not in his mind to release that pent up... feeling. some type of fluster that makes him wonder if he should have brought a pillow to yell into.) or just reject what you just said. somehow his mouth just doesn't cooperate and he has to look away from you because he's actually struggling to keep his sanity together.
giving himself pep talk, the fortitude that 'he doesn't like you', trying to rebuild that wall back up again but he learns that he apparently can't take it when you're both referred to a life bounded vow. not as in he despises is, though he believes he is. but rather because he'll probably combust on the spot by the sheer claim being said out loud.
— | main: sebek, leona, ace
ㅤdem smug bastards
the ones who just can't resist to crack a smirk when you casually introduce him as your husband, no wonder you insisted he wore the promise ring you had given him.. just to show him off? consider him impressed! this might be just one of his favorite memento of your shenanigans. either he already knows what you're up do (leona) or he's just enjoying the remnants of your embarrassed face as he plummets you with endless grins and teases (floyd)
he's your husband...? I mean true but you're mainly his spouse :) should you even regret having done anything in the first place for the coupons? don't ever. anything should be done for the discounts, even if your supposed husband starts parading everywhere and uses every opportunity that appears in random conversations or situations to just casually announce your lawfully wedded marriage.
what do you mean you're not married? I mean he's got all the evidence in his phone, you didn't think he'd pass up the opportunity to record you saying that phrase for nothing did you? it's a great moment to remember, especially when it's in the middle of the night and he can't help but pull up that recording just to listen to it on loop like an idiot.
— | leona, floyd, ruggie, jade?, lilia (perhaps, vil (also questionable)
ㅤwho are you talking to rn?
those who look embarrassed but you're betting most on your money that he's just awfully flustered + doesn't like the feeling just guessing from him avoiding your eyes like you're the entity from bird box. does he really think his hood can cover the entirety of his red ears? they're fooling absolutely no one with that fake cough, only thing you heard was the quiet choke when they processed your words.
tries to play it off by 'composing' themselves in front of you, even though their back is turned to you. the straightening of their shoulder usually implies that they think they're ready but you can't help but note that several parts of their body, if not all, collectively flinch at the sight of you. they dont say anything but they give you this... look.
like, narrowed eyes, their jaw is slightly turned away from you, *judges whole existence with a side eye* they can't believe they even have you as a partner but besides that they can't wrap their heads around the fact that such a stupid notion such as that actually had him doing cartwheels inside his head.
— | jamil deserves this, ruggie, jack, azul
ㅤwym didn't we already get married?
YOUR HONOR ITS THIS ONE. you're probably making him more confused than you are. because?? cue confused face. didn't you guys already get married like, a month ago? do you not see the ring on your finger? the matching one on his own finger? did you really not notice anything when he just casually takes you to the most ethereal, sacred place of briar valley and hands you the box containing the ring...? has he done it too subtly? well, he's underestimated humans once again...
to fae culture that was probably the most obvious thing ever. he didn't outright just decide he wanted to marry you, but you've probably done something that borders on a 'let's get married' proposal in his culture so that just prompted him to get to work ASAP, get his workers find the most grandest ring there is in his family heirloom.
if you take it. that just meant you're both FOR LIFERSSSSS. HENCE WHY HES SO CONFUSED WHEN YOU'RE CONFUSED THAT HES ACTING LIKE ITS NORMAL. I mean he's happy that you finally decided to call him his rightful title after a month but why are you so flabbergasted, child of man? what do you mean you're not married? just look at said sacred, ethereal place in briar valley. both your names are engraved there together, that's enough proof isn't it?
— | malleus
bonus <4
ㅤthe actual partner in crime
want to take it up a notch? just call the resident creator of forged documents, this is totally legal and free! just get on his good side and he will remain there forever, unchanging cause he loves you now. unless you somehow wrong him... it's actually very beneficial because he can do nearly anything for you without trouble so... wow you're married? why didn't you invite him :( oh you're not but you want to be? oh that's totally fine!
oh you want his help? he can't go against the law because of his coding system but.. it also says to help friends whenever he can and you're his best friend so :)) *casually prints out paper* don't worry he'll talk to some friends and it will be legal before you know it!
knowing his brother he's probably authorized to break the law so he had to code it himself before he gets too far... anyways congrats on your actual marriage 😊

they don't see it, because it is around them like air. to them, it would have to be through movies, through magazines. they think it happens outside of life, like it must be selected to be interacted with.
but you discovered in the fifth grade that you couldn't wear shirts with words on them, it was an excuse for someone to look at your chest. you were catcalled before you were in middle school. sometimes you look at that memory and deny it - surely that can't be right, you were young. but you were in a skirt, so maybe that was a natural byproduct. it was a skirt from that place "justice by limited too" - a store literally for kids. it was popular around then. you wore that skirt twice and then never again.
you can't wear headphones, because what if a man wants to talk to you? there's a guy on the internet who complains that women shut themselves off from being approached. at night, you often keep the headphones positioned but with the sound off, just in case you need to hear something behind you.
you learned at 12 that you can't make eye contact, don't acknowledge the aggression. just walk faster and hope he picks on somebody else. don't wear your hair like that. do not park next to that kind of car, park an entire cityblock away if you must.
you can't go to the museum, you're sitting and tying your shoe when he approaches you and mentions that nobody understands art anymore. that in the whole world, it's just you-two. you have no recourse for eating a meal (it's rabbit food if it's salad, and someone will roll their eyes, eat a sandwich. it's pick-me behavior if it's a burger, we get it you're a cool girl). if you like mushrooms you are cottagecore, which is cheesy. if you like video games you're an egirl (similar to a pick-me). boys do not get categories, but if you point out the categories are sexist, you are told okay but these girls really exist.
it is somehow developing, a little undercurrent that you've been uncomfortable with. the nickname "karen" went from being "a white woman that uses her whiteness as a weapon, particularly against people of color," to now mean "any woman raising her voice or being even a little upset." the reappropriation of a term used specifically to call out white women for their racism has set your skin on edge. now it is just another version of "bitch," one that can be said on television. recently you saw a woman get called a karen because a drunk driver sideswiped her, and she screamed when it happened. the comments on the dashcam video all say "why do women always scream about everything." "when has the world ever been bettered by women screaming." "this fucking karen. she deserved to get hit."
in the sitcom, it's a joke that the wife is furious; slamming her hands down into the sink. i do everything around here, might as well do this too. in your house, your father is always in-his-office. before you know better, your first boyfriend is the type to say it's just easier for you. you used to beg him to take you on dates. he used to make a big deal about it, about the sacrifice of effort, even if you were the one who did most of the planning.
someone on the internet makes a "POV: the most boring person you've ever met" where he puts a towel on his head and just talks like a normal person. his impression of a boring woman is just a woman that is talking about her pretty-average life without exaggeration.
you are sometimes actually sad in the reverse, because actually you did used to struggle to pay attention in conversations. you were also easily bored of normal things, your adhd pinging off of every radio tower in the vacinity. it took time and therapy and patience, and now you delight in the small things about your friends. you like having them show you their organizational systems and talk about their taylor swift tickets. you are entertained by them because you learned to be, even though your brain is structured to only be excited by novelty. you kind of hate the idea that the reason your father will never actually pay attention to you is that you're no longer interesting. eventually the shine wore off, and you were just a person, not a spaceship. he never learned how to just, like, form an actual intimate friendship. it was always at a distance, this sense - emotional closeness was too much. (and yes. he's homophobic).
you're already tired of whatever the fuck is happening with the words "divine feminine", a rancid take that is basically just a rebranding of the patriarchy in action. what the fuck do they mean "being small and delicate and needing protection" is feminine. the words they are looking for are that they want a partner, not that their desire for equivalent support is relegated to gender. the human desire for community is not actually gendered at all. also, what fucking wolves are these "divine masculine" men even battling. fuckken taxes? shouldn't their "desire to protect" also mean "protect you from emotional neglect", or are all emotions off-limits (and how sad would that be. that's a horrible bar to set.)
and they tell you it's really not bad actually, because it's just there. they suggest you get off the internet or you stop reading that book or you stop thinking so hard about the movie or you stop just-being-a-feminist because honestly it's a killjoy sort of thing and then you tilt your head to the side and there's that little siren in the back of your head. if things were actually fine, being a feminist wouldn't put a stop to anything, it would go completely unnoticed, because you wouldn't have any comment to make about any of this
but you are ruining your own life, they tell you. also, girls don't sit like that. also, all girls are catty. also, all girls are bad drivers. also, all girls just need a cute bracelet and an iced coffee.
you do like iced coffee, is the thing. when you close your eyes, the world around you has this strange note to it. and once you hear it, it never stops ringing.

Gurl, I've got you.
If you are comfortable with it, I can imagine Gaz getting jealous, tying his partner to the bed (with their consent, obviously 😒) and fucking them like there's no tomorrow. (Sending this as an ask in case you wanna use it)

You were in the midst of getting ready, your reflection adorned in a sleek, tight black dress that hugged your curves in all the right places. With each movement, the fabric whispered against your skin, accentuating your figure with an air of confidence.
His eyes followed the graceful arc of your hand as you brushed a hint of blush onto your cheeks, the subtle flush of color only enhancing your natural beauty.
Despite his efforts to appear nonchalant, the tension simmered just beneath the surface. His gaze widened slightly at the sight of your attire, lingering on you with a hint of admiration and pride.
''He's just a colleague, Kyle.'' It was the third time you had to echo that sentence in a row, each word carefully enunciated with an exhausted sigh in between as the night drag on.
''Who's desperately trying to sleep with you, Y/N.'' Kyle's jaw tightened, his gaze hardening as he leaned himself against the doorframe to get a better look at you.
The veil of calm that blanked his form wasn't enough to disguise the tension around you that could be cut with a knife.
''Okay, now you're overreacting.'' A quick glance away from your reflection in the mirror was enough to catch him rolling his eyes to your remark as you applied the finishing touches to your makeup.
Your arrival to your corporate's event was bound to be late from the moment you were about to settle on the outfit.
The sound of the bathroom door creaked open, and your boyfriend that resembled a Greek God emerged, his hair damp and tousled from the shower. In nothing but a towel wrapped low around his waist, droplets of water glistened on his bronzed skin, accentuating the defined lines of his muscular physique.
''Yeah, right- Wait, no bra?'' Kyle's voice was tinged with a hint of reproach, his brows furrowing as he fought to keep his jealousy in check.
''I can't wear one with this dress.'' With a mischievous glint in your eyes, you turned to face him.
"And you know what else?" You continued, your voice teasing as you pulled back to meet Kyle's gaze. "It's kinda cold tonight.''
''Fucking hell.'' Kyle let out a frustrated growl, his patience wearing thin as he struggled to contain his emotions.. That did not bode well for his self-control.
With a playful smirk, he pushed himself away from the door frame and took a step closer, the air thick with a sudden change of emotions.
''What do I have to do to get you to stay?'' The droll of his voice belied a casual tease, but his tone was dangerous.
''Tie me down, probably.''
The words hung in the air for a moment, accompanied by your light chuckle, as you anticipated Kyle's typical witty response. However, as the seconds ticked by, you noticed the atmosphere slowly changing.
The laughter faded from your lips instantly as you glimpsed the genuine consideration in Kyle's eyes, a flicker of something more primal stirring beneath the surface.
The suggestion lingered in the air like a provocative dare, igniting a spark of desire within him as he contemplated the possibilities.
''Are you seriously considering tying me down, Sergeant?'' The sudden shift from playful banter to something more charged, left you breathless, your pulse quickening with a rush of excitement.
With a slow, deliberate movement, Kyle reached out to gently brush a lock of hair from your face, his touch tender yet intense.
''What if I am?'' His tone was casual, but the way it vibrated in his chest sent a rush of heat down your spine.
''You'd have to catch me, first'' You exclaimed with a giggle and quickened your pace towards the living room, forgetting for a moment that with that man standing behind you, it was pointless.
Kyle, agile and determined, moved swiftly to intercept you. He closed the distance between you in a few quick strides. In a heartbeat, his strong hands firmly gripped on your hips, halting you in your tracks.
Before you could protest or react, Kyle pulled you even closer, his body pressing against yours, sending a jolt of electricity through your body.
He leaned in close, his breath warm against the shell of your ear as he whispered huskily, "That was a bad move, sweetheart."
''Kyle, you're gonna ruin my outfit-'' A look of bland innocence spread across your face, trying hard to convince yourself above all that you wanted to walk out that door and out of his embrace.
"Oh, sweetheart," He murmured, his breath warm against your skin, "You know I'm not just gonna ruin your outfit."
A shiver of excitement ran down your spine as his fingers trailed slowly along your sides, his touch igniting a fire within you that burned hot and bright.
As Kyle's hands moved with intent, your breath caught in your throat, skin tingling with anticipation at the tantalizing promise of what was to come.
It was when Kyle's hands reached your breasts that you realized that he was not going to let you walk out that door intact, your eyes widening in shock at the suddenness of his touch.
''I'm gonna do much more than that.'' In terms of words that made your knees give in, he’s definitely said more explicit things, but apparently, that was all you needed that night.
"Kyle," You murmured, your tone betraying the internal struggle, "I have to go."
''Mhm, do you now?'' Kyle buried his nose in your neck, feeling your pulse with his lips. His skin was so hot, his steaming breath stretching over your delicate skin.
You didn’t mean to whimper, but it slipped out and Kyle's hips bucked. Eager to cage you. Eager to pin you under him and devour you.
With a teasing lilt to your voice, you uttered the name that always seemed to set him on edge, "What will James think if I don't go?"
You knew all too well the effect those words would have, how they would stir the green-eyed monster within him, yet you couldn't resist the thrill of fueling his jealousy and pushing him over the edge.
/ / /
And that was how you ended up lying on the bed, your wrists bound by soft leather handcuffs secured to the headboard.
It had started innocently enough, a playful suggestion that quickly escalated into something far more intense. With each gentle tug of the restraints, you felt a surge of excitement building within you.
And as you laid there, completely at his mercy, you couldn't help but feel a sense of vulnerability unlike anything you had ever experienced before.
The soft whisper of fabric against skin, the faint creak of the bed beneath you, every sensation seemed magnified, heightened by the knowledge that you were completely under his control.
In that moment, with the world reduced to nothing but the two of you, you knew that you were exactly where you wanted to be, no alcohol, no annoying colleagues, no meaningless conversations. Just you, bare naked, bound to the bed and utterly captivated by the man kneeling with you between his thighs
"Satisfied now, Sergeant Garrick?" A devious smile played on your lips as you attempted to feign innocence, but your efforts were feeble at best.
Your boyfriend's keen observation didn't miss a beat. The slight twitch on his brow betrayed his reaction to you using his military rank. It was clear that your words had struck a chord within him, awakening something hidden beneath the surface that was begging to come forward.
As his gaze met yours, you noticed them darkening to the shade closest to the nightsky. There was a spark of arousal mixed with something almost unexplainable, something almost frightening. Intoxicating.
"Cat got your tongue, pretty boy?" Your tone dripped with sass as you pushed the boundaries, testing his patience.
Short distorted laughs came from him, almost mocking your pathetic attempt to provoke him. He raised one hand, the warmth of his touch grazing against your cheek before trailing down to the back of your head, where his fingers began to weave through your hair with a gentle grip.
Despite the tender gesture, you couldn't ignore the underlying tension that radiated from him, it was clear that what was to follow was going to be far from sweet.
Abruptly, his fingers clenched tightly in your hair, a searing pain radiating through your scalp, eliciting a groan to escape your lips.
"Yeah? Is that how you wanna play, love?" His voice was low and husky as he leaned down, bringing his mouth close to your ear.
Kyle's lips brushed against your skin, sending a shiver down your spine, while his other hand, calloused and strong, gently cupped the flesh of your ass before giving it a firm squeeze.
You felt his touch trailing down, skimming over the nakedness of your upper body until they reached the edge of your panties. Your breath caught in your throat as his fingers danced along the elastic, teasingly tugging them down. The sensation was electrifying, anticipation coursing through your body.
His warm breath tickled your neck as he exhaled, "You're practically dripping, and I've barely even touched you." He remarked with a low chuckle, the sound rumbling in your ear and sending a thrill through your body.
"Shut up-" You quipped, knowing full well the bratty tone of your words.
As if to amplify your wicked plan, you aimed a playful kick at his thigh, intending to push him away though you knew that it was part of his job to take down men twice his size with ease.
Kyle reared back, and in an instant, his lips crashed onto yours with an intensity that bordered on punishing.
Initially, you resisted, a split-second defiance before surrendering to the fervor of his kiss. As you yielded, his kiss softened, his lips tenderly caressing yours, his tongue teasing the corner of your mouth with slow strokes.
As he began pressing his knee against your throbbing core, your back arched instinctively, seeking further contact and stimulation.
In response to your reaction, he let out a deep, guttural moan of his own into your mouth, his desire echoing yours as he intensified the pressure of his kiss. With one hand still cupping the back of your neck possessively, he leaned over you, his weight asserting dominance in the space between you.
His honeyed eyes fixated on your breasts, staring with a hunger that made your skin tingle. His plush lips were slightly parted as he placed his palms on your stomach, earning a desperate whisper from you.
''Kyle-'' Unintentionally, a soft mewl escaped your lips, a sound of desire that surprised even you. You couldn't help but crave his hands on your breasts, yearning for the sensation of his fingers squeezing, massaging, mirroring the fervent desire on his face.
And then, he withdrew, his lips parting from yours, leaving behind a warmth as he leaned back to take another look at your exposed skin.
''You wanna act like a brat?'' Kyle seethed as if he was welcoming a challenge, a sly smirk playing on his lips, his eyes gleaming with determination.
With deliberate intent, he wrapped his fingers around the base of your neck, his grip tightening gradually, compelling you to meet his eyes. ''Fine, I'll treat you like one.''
His hand disappeared from your sight, gliding down his torso until it reached the towel that hung low around his waist, teasingly revealing the contours of his body.
In one swift motion, he discarded the towel, allowing it to fall to the floor with a soft rustle, revealing his form in all its glory. You couldn't help but stare, mesmerized. It slapped against his stomach with a satisfying thud, beautiful and big, just like him.
Slowly, he caressed himself before you, his cock poised directly in front of your face, temptingly close.
"Spit." Kyle commanded, his hand extended in front of your face, positioned just beneath your waiting mouth.
Without hesitation, you complied with his request, gathering saliva in your mouth before lolling out your tongue, allowing it to messily fall into his hand.
"That's my obedient girl." He praised, whilst using the same hand that collected your saliva to stroke himself once again. With each firm stroke, his member glistened, now coated in the slickness that you provided.
''Open your mouth, sweetheart. Unless you'd like for me to force it open?'' He questioned as as he began to leisurely drag the tip of his throbbing cock along your wet lips before gently prodding them.
You savored the bittersweet tang of the precum that glistened on the head, the taste a delicious blend of saltiness and sweetness that made you want more. And so you complied without hesitation, parting your lips and extending your tongue, its wet, pink surface waiting for his touch.
''Suck.''
His voice took on a rough, commanding tone, without any hint of playfulness as his hips bucked towards your lips, seeking the warmth of your mouth.
Without hesitation, your mouth opened eagerly, welcoming his head as it entered, filling your senses with the taste and texture of him.
You hollowed your cheeks, creating suction as you enveloped him, relishing in the sensation of his hardness against your tongue. Taking your time, you swirled your tongue around the tip, exploring every ridge and contour, teasing him with the flickering motion.
You weren't going to give it to him easily. Or so you believed in that moment. Perhaps deep down, there lurked a streak of masochism within you.
And so, without warning, you executed a bold move, deftly slipping his length off your lips with a resounding pop, punctuating the act with a falsely innocent look.
"Oops." You smirked, meeting his half-shocked, half-annoyed expression with unwavering confidence despite your restricted position.
''Bold move, love.'' What he did next caught you off guard.
With a swift motion, he retrieved his hand from the back of your head and placed it under your jaw, the once gentle touch now transformed into a merciless grip as his fingers closed around your cheeks, applying pressure until you winced from the pain and forced your mouth to open.
Kyle wasted no time in reclaiming the wetness of your mouth, thrusting his length back inside with an assertiveness that seemed almost brutal. Not to you, though. That was how you liked it and he knew. Gentle and sweet as a partner, rough and dominant as a lover.
You hummed around him, the vibration serving as an affirmative response, granting him permission to take control. His other hand rose to join the first, folding over your head, firmly holding you in place as he lifted his hips and thrusted forward.
He closed his eyes, the long lashes brushing against his flushed cheeks as he breathed out a low, gravelly moan.
"Oh, fuck, yes- that's it. You're- you're taking me so fucking well." In contrast to his words growing increasingly visceral and obscene, Kyle looked strikingly beautiful and almost mad with his open jaw hung slightly agape as he struggled to catch his breath, each inhalation ragged and uneven.
Sensing his movement, you relaxed your jaw, allowing your tongue to flatten and just before he pushed deeper, you managed to draw in one last breath, bracing yourself for what was to come.
Then, his head bumped against the back of your throat, causing your eyes to sting with tears pooling at the corners as you coughed wetly around him. Foam and saliva spurted from the tight seal of your lips, a result of the sudden intrusion.
His relentless pace caused your throat to bulge, stretching to accommodate his girth, while your face contorted with the strain of his forceful thrusts.
The squelching of his cock drilling in and out of your mouth got louder and louder as your saliva wet his length, only making him fuck your mouth like it was nothing but a hole, with more intent as it got easier for him.
His fingers held onto both sides of your skull tightly, burying your nose into his pubic hair with every pulsation. Your jaw grew slack, your jowl hanging low as his girth forced your mouth open for his use.
''Now what would that asshole think, hm?'' His breathing was erratic, his words garbled and he dislodged himself from you entirely this time.
His hand gripped around the base of his cock, coated heavily with pre-cum and your saliva. The force-grip on your face relaxed and you pulled your lips back together in relief.
And then he stuffed back himself into you, taking in the feeling of your reflexive bobs on his cock, of you gagging and salivating around his member. He drug your head off after a short time, then back in, finding his rhythm.
The fingers in your hair roughly pulled you against him as he held you firmly back in place, leaving you no choice but to breathe through your nose and try to relax your muscles further. ''Seeing you tied up like that, choking on my cock, fuck-''
It only took a few more hard, erratic thrusts before he reached the breaking point, his body tensing above you as he neared climax.
With each hard movement, his cock plunged deeper into your throat, driving past the point of resistance until it reached the depths of your being. In a surge of desperate release, he unleashed his hot thick cum so deep inside you, you didn't even get taste it.
Though your jaw felt like it was burning in flames, you immediately welcomed the relief as you could finally draw in a deep, satisfying breath. With a sigh, you leaned your head back against the headboard, allowing the coolness of the surface to soothe your overheated skin.
''You did so well baby, so fucking good for me.'' He cooed, the sweetness returning to his tone before he swiftly slid his knees from your upper body down to your waist, his movements unhurried as he took in the way you looked in that moment. A beautiful mess.
Whilst he positioned himself, he leaned forward, his forehead gently meeting yours for a brief moment and then closed the gap completely, his lips meeting yours in a soft, tender kiss.
''Now..'' Kyle whispered against your parted lips, a soft breath of warmth that set your skin on fire.
As his tongue delicately brushed against your bottom lip, his hands trailed upwards to caress your restrained arms as though he was taking away the ache just by touching them.
''Be a good girl and..'' As his lips made their way towards the upper half of your face, his voice was sinful against the delicate curve of your ear shell. With each caress, the tension in your muscles began to ease.
Finally, his hands came to rest against each of your wrists, the warmth of his touch a stark contrast to the cool metal of the handcuffs.
With a gentle yet purposeful movement, his fingers traced the outline of the restraints, teasing you by applying pressure for a second before stopping and repeating the same movement.
You watched in anticipation, biting hard on your bottom lip not to wince out loud as the tension in the air became heavy once more and then you finally heard the faint click of the restraints releasing.
The pain in your wrists began to fade away, relief washing over you as Kyle deftly removed the handcuffs. With each click of the lock releasing, a weight seemed to lift from your shoulders. You eagerly anticipated the opportunity to finally touch him, to feel his warmth against your skin and bring him close to you.
But before you could even extend your hands, Kyle's touch found its way to your waist and with a suddenness that pushed all air out your lungs, he maneuvered you around, positioning you so that your face was now directed towards the headboard. The abrupt shift in position left you disoriented, your gaze now fixated on the wooden surface before you.
''Kyle, what are you-''
Without warning, he once again secured the handcuffs around your wrists, immobilizing you completely. The metallic clink echoed in the room and his striking face disappeared from your sight, replaced by the blank expanse of the wall.
Though you couldn't see him, the subtle shifts in the mattress beneath you betrayed his movements as he lowered himself onto the bed. He positioned himself underneath you, his shoulders pressed firmly between your thighs, urging them to open wider.
Finally, you looked down, his face came into view, illuminated by the soft glow of the dimly lit room.
''Sit on my fucking face.''

✩₊˚.⋆✩⋆⁺₊✩
As soon as Lily set her hand on the compartment door it slid open hard, Remus had almost taken the compartment door off its hinges but Moony didn’t care. His eyes immediately searched for his newest mate and found her curled up in James’ arms hiding her face in his chest trying desperately to make herself appear smaller so no one would notice her set on THE James Potter’s hip as if she were a small child. Moony melted at his tiny girl but he growled in annoyance that she was not in his arms.
Swiftly taking her from James and cradling her in his own arms this time however acting as if she were an actual baby. Which of course she was, she was Moony’s mate therefore Remus’ baby girl.He rocked her gently as she let out a small whimper and again kept her eyes closed and pushed her face into his chest something inside her wanted to stay in this position forever.
“Mate mine” Moony said in a deep voice and leaned down to press a soft kiss on the side of her forehead. The combination of his words and actions had Abigail confused and finally tore her face from the large boy’s chest. Dull and dark blue eyes met bright piercing yellow ones and let’s just say if Remus hadn’t been holding as tight as he was she would be on the floor with how harshly she jumped, having no idea human eyes could be that color.
Sensing her stress Moony sat down bringing Abby’s small frame to straddle his lap and pushed her head into his shoulder and gently began to pet her hair.
“My mate, My baby” he chanted before finally giving Remus control of the shared mindspace. Moony was far beyond content with his current situation, his mate was finally in his arms so he could relax. Light brown eyes replaced the bright yellow.
“Hey baby, will you look at me?” he questioned his small mate that rested in his lap. She did as she was asked and was just brought more confusion when their eyes met once again.
“y-your eyes they they changed colors” she stated softly, a swirling mix of anxiety, embarrassment and confusion flooded her mind.
“Yeah they do that sometimes, little mate, but it’s okay you're here with me now and no one will ever hurt you,” He replied trying to ease the anxiety that was coming off of her in waves.
“M-mate?” Abby asked, struggling to get out of the grip he had on her waist. Was this just another man trying to control her life? Was he just like her uncle? Did he want exactly what her uncle wanted, Abby shivered at the thought, she didn’t think she could handle more of that.
“Yes little one, all of us are Remus’ mates” Lily interjected in an attempt to calm the growingly distressed girl.
“I-I don’t understand, l-let me go!” Abby pleaded with the four others in the compartment. But the grip on her waist remained firm even as Remus took one hand off and pulled it up to her chin forcing her to look into his eyes once more.
“I would rather not tell you this but it's better for you to know now rather than later. Little mate, I am a werewolf, and werewolves all have mates, usually just one of two but in our case I have four, you baby are my last mate.” Remus explained mentally preparing himself for your inevitable rejection. He expected you to be angry, to yell, to cry, but what he most certainly did not expect was for her to just keep staring at him and just responding with a small “oh” as realization dawned.
“That’s why you're all y’know?” She asked, looking at all of them.
“Together? Yes” Lily responded as Sirius responded as well “Fucking? Yes”
“Sirius stop it”
“What? She is more than welcome to join!”
“You're embarrassing her!” Lily and Sirius argued. As Abby’s cheeks just continued to get more and more red. All eyes were on her as she let out the smallest of whimpers at the yelling. It always brought back memories of  her at home with her uncle, where all of his time went yelling and screaming at her along with other things she had forbidden herself to speak about.
“Stop arguing you are scaring my baby” James yelled at his loves. Just causing Abby to hide herself in Remus’ chest once again but this time strictly to hide the tears forming in her eyes, unable to stop them from flowing down her cheeks.
“Enough!” Remus hissed at his mates “She’s crying” Sirius sprang to his feet and pulled your face from Remus carefully cradling it in his palms. His ring clad fingers leaving a cold sensation of your warm cheeks as his soft thumbs brushed the tears from them.
“Baby doll” he huffed sadly “s’it the yelling?” only receiving a nod in return as you tried to pull your face from his large hands.
“Don’t like it” she mumbled, not really wanting to admit that she was scared of something as silly as yelling to Sirius freaking Black.
“Shh that's okay, now we know not to yell” He reassured her softly, but his attention caught on her full pouty lips.
“Just wanna try something and If you don’t like it you tell me alright?” He asked and you hummed in agreement, all of your attention now on him as he softly pressed their lips together. Abby froze, Sirius Black was kissing her in front of all his partners. Sensing her obvious discomfort Remus whispered “s’its okay” in her ear allowing her to melt into the kiss. Sirius’ lips were soft against hers but the kiss was firm as he deepened it, his tongue swiping against her bottom lip in a silent question for access. Abby did not grant it though , she had no idea she was supposed to though having never kissed anyone before. Sirius took this as a challenge and slightly nipped her bottom lip with his teeth eliciting a gasp from the small girl. Taking this opportunity Sirius slipped his tongue inside her mouth and began to explore only to be pulled away by a hand in his hair tugging him back, he knew it was Remus by the size of it and that only he or Lily would do that.
Remus didn’t know whether to be annoyed or turned on by the sight directly in front of his face. Annoyed because Sirius should have known that he wanted to be Abby’s first kiss, and turned on because for fucks sake two of his mates were making out literally right in front of his face. He cleared his throat as he pulled Sirius from his smaller mate, any more watching this and he would be able to control the blood rushing south. He didn’t want Abby to have to feel that as he knew by her words and actions that she was inexperienced and knew that his raging hard cock pressing against your clothed core would be too overwhelming.
“Remmy, come onnn!” The black haired boy complained to his boyfriend.
“No that’s enough, see she’s tired” Remus responded but it was weird Abby didn’t feel tired but almost as if on cue she yawned.
“Lily and I have to attend the prefects meeting as well” He told the group then turned to Abby and told her “You just rest little mate we’ll be back when you wake” as he pressed a loving kiss to her hairline and passed you to James and Lily repeated his actions and told the three of you to “be good” but Abby could tell it was more directed at the boys than it was her. She yawned again and fell into a nice nap and James began to rub her back gently.

Dear Hearts and Gentle People 9
Summary: You think you're too late to get back to Cooper in time, but the ghoul shows you that he's stronger than either of you think.
Pairings: The Ghoul | Cooper Howard x Female Reader
Warnings: Feral behavior, Angst. Sad thoughs but a happy ending
Masterlist
Tumblr media
You've never run so fast in your entire life to get back to the set of buildings that you'd left Cooper at. It's been four days, a two-day trip to the nearest town where you had been lucky enough to find a couple of vials, enough to at least get your ghoul back on his feet, and then the two-day trip back. It was evening by the time you made it back, and you heaved in deep, steadying lungfuls as you skidded to a halt.
"Coop!?" She said loudly, not willing to be any louder in case any nasties had moved in while you were gone. Fear grips your heart when you make it to the back room you'd left him in and find the place empty. You lick your lips and zero in on the indents left behind in the sand.
You follow them out of the house and out into the wastes. You can see a figure stumbling around in the distance, their movements jerky and the occasional terrifying snarl echoing in the night. You lope forward and slow to a stop a good ten feet away from the familiar ghoul in a cowboy hat.
"Cooper."
The ghoul whips around, and you shove down the horror that threatens to rise up and consume you when he looks at you. His eyes, usually beautiful and golden, are bloodshot, his pupils so blown tray you can't see the color of his iris. Cooper snarls at you, baring his teeth before his head jerks to the side.
"Darlin', wha-," He cuts himself off with a low growl, and you take a step forward when he slaps his hands over his cheeks and shakes his head like a wet dog.
"I told you I'd come back, Cooper," you say and reach for your bag, keeping your movements transparent, "Come back to the house. Lemme help you."
Cooper can't believe that you're back. It's been a day after you left that he'd started to lose time, his mind fuzzy as he struggled to keep his senses. Even now, everything has a film over it, and he's got to squint to see you properly. He takes a deep breath and stops himself from stumbling to your side when the scent of your flesh hits his ruined nose. You smell delicious.
"Cooper, please. Let's get out of the open," you beg and take another step forward. The wind shifts, and Cooper snarls again, his mouth filling with saliva.
"You gotta go, baby," Cooper manages to bite out and spits to the side, sneering and wiping at his mouth. He twitches and the urge to lunge, to bite, and to tear you apart.
You screw your face up, upset at his dismissal, and square up. Cooper was a lot stronger than you, but this was just a chance you'd have to take. You back away from him, deft fingers, finding his inhaler and loading a vial inside of it.
"You're crazy if you think I'm leaving you again," you hiss to yourself and then take off in a run, launching yourself at Cooper and tackling him to the ground. After that, it's a bad wrestle, the ghoul fighting you with all he had. You finally get the upper hand and pin him down with your knees on his shoulders, hands fumbling with the inhaler until you can press the mouthpiece to his lips.
"Breathe it in, dammit," you order, and Cooper regains enough sense to do as you say, sucking down the chem and dropping like dead weight to the sand. You keep him pinned and loaded in another vial, not trusting one to be enough.
Clarity comes slowly, and you can't help but sag forward in relief when the hands that grip your legs loosen their grip and slide up to caress your hips. You look down, and overjoyed tears come to your eyes when you see his familiar golden ones staring back up at you.
"I ain't used to bein' the damsel in distress," Cooper quips softly, and you let out a wet chuckle, sliding down so that you are sitting on his lap, "I think my savior deserves a reward."
You nod and let out a wet chuckle, then lean down and seal your lips to his, headless of the taste of chems that lingers on his lips. You didn't give a shit. Cooper was alive, and that's all that mattered to you.

Hi! I was looking at some of your painterly stuff, and I am in awe of the emotion, softness, and texture of the pieces. I wanted to ask what your general process of making painterly artwork is? Do you freehand without a sketch, how long it takes you to finish a piece like that, how you utilize layering, etc!
You are, of course, not obligated to share about your process or answer questions! If these questions are too invasive on your work, I completely understand. Thank you!
My process for those particular pieces is super loose! I try to use art fights as an excuse to try new color combos and try to get fast and comfy with painting bc I rarely do it it any more. But basically it looks like this!
Tumblr media
Loose sketch, I think this was the second or third sketch that I thought looked the best :)
Tumblr media
2. I normally start with the complementary color to the character's main color (which was red here) unless I have a specific lighting goal or color palette in mind
Tumblr media
3. I block in colors under the sketch layer! In this case I was just picking whatever colors but if I'm not feeling too confident I do color pick from photos or palettes I find on google images.
Tumblr media
4. My emotional support overlay layer, of course <3. Not much thought process here, just trying to make it look good + more contrasty!
Tumblr media
5. Then I make a layer on top of the sketch and just go ham! Try to separate the light and shadow, detail the teeth and stuff. I start with big blendy brushes and then scale down to smaller brushes towards the end.
Tumblr media
All of my art fights take like 45 min-3 hrs (I definitely struggle on people faces so much). I think this one took a bit over an hour, which is where most of them fall! The one below was closer to 3, you can see I used a second sketch layer and did a lot of tweaks.
Tumblr media
And finally, especially if you're focused on improving your skills, always collect inspiration pictures from artists who you want to emulate! My art fights draw LOADS of inspiration from @ikrutt + @polararts for example. I hope this gives you some insight to my process! As always, if you want to fuck with my brushes msg me, I can email you them :)

My Psychosis Survival Guide
Things from my coping box that might benefit you too. Like any other skill, many of these things can be used to help any other mental health problem. This is just my own list of things I use in addition to seeing my pdoc and taking my meds:
Art
Grounding is my first and most effective coping skill. Among the skills in the grounding category, coloring and doodling are my favorites (bonus if you can color-in doodles you've made yourself) but any art will do, like painting or making collages.
This can distract you from hallucinations and keep your mind occupied to stop dwelling on paranoid or delusional thoughts. Art therapy is known to reduce anxiety and depression too, which is common with psychotic disorders.
Instrumental music
LoFi is my favorite. Something calming can reduce anxiety and help you rest or sleep, which is good for a brain bombarded with the psychotic experience. Lyrics can sometimes trigger unwanted thoughts and some people even find that the lyrics change and suddenly have special meaning, so this is avoided with instrumental music.
Some LoFi music has other sound effects which can help auditory hallucinations to blend in and be less intrusive. Cafe vlogs are excellent for this, as they have a background of people talking and kitchen appliances being used which disguise mild and pesky hallucinations.
Putty
It can be Silly Putty, Thinking Putty, or whatever you can find. Some of them change colors, some of them are even scented. This is excellent grounding. It involves your senses and you can completely turn off your brain and just play with it in your hands. It's also great as a fidget tool.
Letters to yourself
Writing letters to yourself while you're in a good and healthy mindset can be valuable to look back on while in a psychotic episode. Give yourself a pep talk. Remind yourself that this is real life, remind yourself of why these thoughts are irrational and why you really can trust your friends and family, etc.
I find it useful to write about past delusions, so that when similar ones happen, I have "proof" that this is unreasonable and I'm less likely to fall for it (nothing is perfect. sometimes I'll still believe the delusion despite everything, but it helps)
A list of people who can help
Keep a list of friends or family who are aware of your diagnosis and who are ready to help you if you're struggling. Keep the numbers to these people in case you chuck your phone. Also include the numbers to your doctor, therapist, social worker, or anyone else you may need to reach when you're unable to use your own phone. (It's also good to have these listed in case you get hospitalized and are unable to have your phone)
Also if you're dealing with paranoia around your phone, some people find it comforting to use WhatsApp because it's encrypted unlike text messages.
I hope these are helpful

Hi! I want to try and make a comic for a project of mine, do you have any tips for people starting out with making comics?(i have literally no idea where to even start with this)
Usually it starts with the setup/premise, the story and the characters. If you know these three then you already have your foundation. Everyone is different when creating comics and everyone has different priorities. For example, I like to have everything planned from the panel layout, to the dialogue. While a friend of mine who's working on an original comic just mainly focuses on the basics and writes the dialogue in the moment. You'll see what works best for you as you work on it. It really doesn't matter which medium you use to get your story out there. Try to use the one you're most comfortable with. Study from what you see. Feel free to take inspiration from other places that might suit what you want to do for your own comic. Taking inspiration and looking up references is something ALL artists do. Also if you're starting out, may I suggest trying your hands on some shorter comics? Possibly just one-offs. The goal is for you to get used to the process. Oh, also make reference sheets of your main characters! You'll be drawing them over and over again for a good while, so it's important to have a good reference to fall back to in case you're struggling. They should include a front and back view (profile view too if you want to) and also the color scheme in case you want your pages to be colored (or if you do just art in general of your characters.)
Uhh... so yeah. I'm not a professional at this myself mind you. I have a lot to learn still about panelling, foreshortening, perspective, action shots... Basically what I'm trying to say is, you never stop learning!

Smoke from Canada
Please stay inside if you are sensitive to smoke
check your area for air quality:
PLEASE REBLOG AND SHARE MORE TIPS
I’m actively updating as of Wednesday Jun 7, 2023. Please check your local news stations and weather apps for information on your area.
Outside
If you have to go outside please wear a mask, have lots of sunscreen and drink water when available/needed. Stay in shade when walking. Wear light colors outside, avoid dark colors. Cloth Masks are cool but paint/filter masks are your best friend. If you have a inhaler just bring it with you everywhere! Inside
When inside don’t open windows and keep curtain closed to expel heat. Sandwiches and fruit are your friend. Cooking is far too hot. If you are about to run out of water fill tub with cold water and pray you have a good drain. Basements are your friend. DRINK WATER NOT SODA OR SPORTS DRINKS! Don’t use drier, use a clothes line if possible
Extra
if you are looking for shelter, Public libraries, coffee shops, grocery stores, anywhere thats air conditioned. Take anything you need but be SAFE
Did I mention water? Gatorade is fun but don’t drink caffeine.
If there’s no smoke in your area and you just need to cool down, open your window at night/early morning
|| Take it easy. No, easier than that. Aside from the mental toll the smoke and horrible weird light and the creepy red sun and the burning smell take on you, your body is just working way harder to do everything it normally does. You will be exhausted, you will be distracted, you will have headaches and you will struggle with basic tasks like "walking up stairs." Do not try to power through it. Cancel plans, reschedule appointments, do fewer errands or consolidate them into one trip.
Treat yourself like you have a cold. Plenty of fluids, stopping when you're tired, cough drops and eye drops for the painful throat and eyes, inhalers if you have one.
Spend as little time outside as you possibly can. This includes your pets. Do not open your windows, do not open your screen door, do not run your AC (this is where some of the above advice for hot weather will come in handy.)
If you have to go outside, wear an N95 or KN95 mask. Make sure it's well-fitted around your face. You're not trying to keep out the smoke, but the PM2.5 (particulate matter 2.5 microns or smaller.) That's the stuff that causes cancer. If you have a fan with a HEPA filter, blast it all the time. If you don't have one go look at diy air filter link below, ask a mutual aid center if you cannot come into contact with these materials. || These tips are from them, a few links below are from them too so go give them some love. https://www.tumblr.com/salteywater

hi!! I absolutely love your style!! do you have any process vids or tutorials on how you go about shading?? I struggle with not turning mine into a whole ass painting :’)
Unfortunately I don't 😔 I recorded some a while ago but haven't figured out how to speed them up and stitch videos together yet cjjcjckg but when I do I'll post something :')
But about shading, I get what you mean about painting cjcjkc I had the same issue a while ago actually. Here's a couple of things that helped me change that, hopefully they'll help you too:
putting more emphasis on lineart. If you polish your linework and create occlusion shadows with it, it'll do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to shading, so you won't need to shade all that much with colors and values. like so:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
simplifying things. You get something complex, like a face, and you break it down to bigger, simpler shapes, and then you shade that. There's tools online like the asaro head(I like to use this model in particular), which you can use to help you with simplification, but you can simplify it even more than that. Like if you look at the way I shade faces, I shade them with even less shapes than the asaro head jdjfjf I disregard a lot of the finer details and just portray what I consider to be the bigger or most prominent shadows. I'd say even if you're going for more complex shapes, think about the big ones first, put those down, and gradually go for the smaller ones.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
using design principles on shading. I don't know if you know design theory already, but in case you don't, I recommend taking a look at the principle of "big, medium, small". It's pretty simple, but once you understand it you can apply it to literally everything in your art and make it look better. Once I started applying them to the shapes I create when I'm shading, it also became a lot easier to shade in a more simplified style.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's mostly what helped me I think!! Other than that, it probably goes without saying but I'd highly recommend studying other artists. Like, just grabbing a bunch of pieces you like from a particular artist, throwing it all in a moodboard, observing and taking notes and then trying to mimick their style. That's a type of study that usually helps me improve really fast. But yeah, I hope this helps!!

SR Vil Schoenheit - Playful Dress Vignette
"I was able to witness such a rare sight"
Tumblr media
[Playful Land – Bazaar]
Puppet: Come By, Come And See! Would You Like A Playful Land Souvenir!?
Vil: …...
Vil: Well, I thought I would get some souvenirs for those back at school, but…
Vil: These accessories, medals, and mugs… aren't really gifts I would give others.
Vil: Oh, is this… a badge? It's small, I do like how prettily the gold shines.
Vil: This may be a perfect find. Could you wrap this up for me?
Puppet: Of Course!
Jade: Oh my, Vil-san. I thought you would be exploring the park, but have you turned to souvenir shopping already?
Vil: That's right. I spotted some lockers earlier, so I thought I would use those until we leave.
Jade: I hadn't noticed there were lockers available.
Jade: I planned on leaving souvenir shopping for later, but if that is the case, then I suppose it won't be a bother to shop for some now.
Vil: Well, if you weren't over here for souvenirs in the first place, why did you come this way?
Jade: Me? Something rather fascinating happened to have caught my eye…
Vil: Something fascinating?
Jade: Indeed, take a look at these.
Vil: These are… fashion accessories?
Jade: Yes. These are character hats, character headbands, and other various accessories that can be worn around the park.
Vil: A hat with fox ears, a scrunchie with a small cat figure attached to it…
Vil: There are even sunglasses with frames that look like a silhouette of a fox.
Vil: So, you like these kinds of character merchandise? That's actually rather surprising.
Jade: WELL, YES, ABSOLUTELY! Although, I haven't had much luck purchasing any since I left the Coral Sea.
Jade: Unfortunately, it's quite difficult to coordinate outfits with these kinds of poppy and cutesy merch…
Jade: I wonder if there is anyone out there who could suit such specialized character accessories.
Jade: If they did exist, I would love for them to show me how they'd wear it, but I'm sure that's easier said than done.
Jade: …That would be much too convenient, right?
Vil: You... I'm more than certain you are lying through your teeth when you say you like such cute merch.
Vil: Does this mean you've come all the way to this shop to try to get a rise out of me? What a charming personality you have.
Jade: Oh, my. A lie…? Nonsense. Please believe me, Vil-san.
Vil: I assume you're only here to try to see me struggle matching those accessories to my outfit.
Vil: Allow me to show you just how fundamentally flawed your scheme is.
Vil: After all, our knowledge and experience are nowhere near the same.
Vil: Well then, first… Ah, I'll start with the sunglasses.
Vil: My current outfit has a base black color, with a purple focus and red accents.
Vil: I do not want to upset the balance of these colors. With that in mind, I would choose this one.
Jade: Those sunglasses have such a vivid red frame… So you chose it based off your accent color instead of the base color.
Vil: Yes, of course. The face is the most prominent part of your body, so it would be a waste to frame it with a color as muted as my base color.
Vil: Next are the earrings. Since we don’t want it to clash with the sunglasses, here we would choose a subtle gold or white gold shimmer.
Vil: The scrunchie should be an eye-catching pink that doesn't take too much attention away from the sleeves.
Vil: I'd match the backpack to purple, and attach plenty of charms to it, within reason.
Jade: …Wonderful. Although you are decorated in character goods from head to toe, your refined presence still shines strong.
Vil: Naturally. Character goods like this are just another facet of fashion, so as long as you keep to the fundamentals, you can't go wrong.
Vil: Specifically, one must always be aware of the color balance. You cannot simply throw everything on without any thought.
Jade: I see, this has been a wonderful learning experience. I shouldn't expect anything less from someone like you.
Vil: Obviously. There isn't a fashion item in the world that I would not be able to put to good use.
Vil: …Or is that too much of a boast? Fufu.
Jade: This was astounding. By the way, may I…
Vil: No photos.
Jade: Ah, I see. That is a shame.
Vil: Well, I've finished choosing my souvenirs, so I'll be off. Goodbye, then.
Jade: …Yes, I'll see you later.
Tumblr media
[Playful Land – Gentle Square]
Vil: Playful Land truly is large.
Vil: There's the Catch the Star wheel, an Undersea Walk… As well as a Brawl Bungalow.
Vil: I would love to visit every attraction I haven't been able to check out yet, but there may not be enough time.
Jade: Indeed. Taking into account what free time we have remaining, I would think we could perhaps look into 2 or 3 attractions.
Vil: I concur. That may be the case, especially considering the crowds.
Vil: …Also, Jade, I thought we sent our separate ways back at the bazaar. Why are you still following me?
Jade: I simply thought it would be more exciting to stick with you, Vil-san, than look around on my own. I have no ulterior motives.
Vil: …Honestly, I absolutely cannot believe that. Especially with how much of an innocent front you're displaying.
Vil: Well, no matter. I was just thinking about actually finding some activities to enjoy here at Playful Land.
Vil: And, well, you've an abundance in forethought, so you may not be a terrible companion.
Vil: If you absolutely must, you may join me.
Jade: Thank you very much.
Vil: There is a certain place I would like to go. Let's head there.
Tumblr media
[Playful Land – Expedition Whale]
Vil: We've arrived.
Jade: This is…
Vil: Expedition Whale, the largest roller coaster in this amusement park.
Vil: Obviously, we cannot pass up the main attraction. Come, the line is over here.
Jade: Wait a moment, Vil-san. Why don't we visit the Brawl Bungalow first?
Vil: …Huh? Why? The roller coaster is right in front of us.
Vil: You want us to head towards the Brawl Bungalow from here, and then turn all the way around to come back here? I think that is a complete waste of time.
Jade: No, I… The line for the roller coaster is rather long, so I thought perhaps waiting for our turn may be a waste of our time.
Jade: If we use that potential waiting time to visit another attraction, perhaps we could be able to enjoy an additional one…
Vil: …Sigh.
Vil: You know, Jade. I'll only say this once. I gave you permission to "follow me if you must."
Vil: I never said you could direct me anywhere. I don't want there to be any misunderstandings.
Jade: Right, my apologies. Only, if we consider our limited time remaining…
Vil: Oh… And here I thought you would back off because I was a little sterner there. How odd.
Vil: I don't think you rather look to be that interested in the Brawl Bungalow, either. It's as if you are trying to avoid the roller coaster entirely.
Vil: I'm sure it absolutely isn't the case, but… Could it be that you're attempting to avoid the roller coaster because you're scared…?
Vil: That couldn't possibly be the case, right, Jade?
Jade: Of course not. To tell you the truth, I am simply worried for you, Vil-san.
Jade: It seems as though the roller coaster will splash us with water in the end…
Jade: I couldn't help but be concerned for your beautiful makeup. We wouldn't want it to run.
Vil: Mmhmm. If you say so. Uh-huh…
Vil: If my makeup runs, I just have to fix it.
Vil: Is that all you have? Come on, let's go.
Tumblr media
Vil: Well, now… The coaster is about to move. Are you ready, Jade?
Jade: Ready? I'm not entirely sure what you mean… I am still fraught with worry for you, Vil-san.
Jade: I must at least be prepared to shield you, after all, in case your makeup runs.
Vil: You truly don't ever stop speaking. …But I wonder, how long will you be able to keep it up?
[clank, clank, clank…]
Tumblr media
Vil: Look Jade, the view is breathtaking. We can see the whole of Playful Land.
Jade: Yes, truly… It is very high… And from this height, I assume we're about to…
[clank!!]
Jade: URK…!?
Vil: …Heh.
Tumblr media
[RRRRRGGGGGGOOOOORRR!!]
[SPLASSSH!!]
Tumblr media
Vil: Ahh, that was a superb thrill…!
Vil: Rollercoasters this long and thrilling are completely out of the ordinary.
Vil: But, I'm quite elated to have been able to experience such a one-of-a-kind attraction. On top of that…
Vil: I was able to witness such a rare sight: Jade, speechless.
Vil: I'm sure you tagged along, hoping to find some reason to rib me… I'm sorry it didn't work out for you.
Jade: …...
Jade: …Oh no, I am just the same as ever. That was a enjoyable coaster.
Jade: However, perhaps I would like to refrain from riding it for a little while…
Vil: Oh, have you recovered already? I guess I should at least commend your moxie.
Vil: We're moving on to the next attraction, Jade. I'm nowhere near satisfied yet.

Once in a month.
That was how often you saw him. And even then he wouldn't drink, unlike his friend who drinks until she passes out. "I'll have a soda." He always says.
At first, you thought it was weird. People go to bars to drink, right? He doesn't,apparently.
That wasn't the only weird thing about him though.
His hair was white. Snowy white. When he didn't seem to be old enough to have his hair losing its color. Maybe he dyed it? You thought.
His hair aside,he always wears a black blindfold with the same outfit. Halloween's already over right? You bet he has very pretty eyes though, and that whatever he wears will look good on him. Now don't ask where did that come from. You just know it. Duh,you bet he looks great without wearing anything too. But control your thoughts when you're working, please?
He wasn't on your mind that much. He only comes once a month...or he used to come once a month.
Because he started coming twice a week since a month ago for whatever reason he has.
You would approach him,why not? Only if he didn't hold such crazy cursed energy.
You wouldn't want to be a part of jujutsu society again. Never again.
⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆
He enters the bar in his usual style. How does he look so good in such a weird style?
"A soda, please." Predictable. You pour him a glass of soda with a few ice cubes.
"You got a nice amount of cursed energy. I don't understand why you don't put it to use." He says, out of the blue, causing you to freeze at his words. "Six ice cubes." He plays with his glass, watching the ice cubes swim freely on the surface of the liquid. "Is this a coincidence or you know something about me?"
You finally look at him, trying your best to look as apathetic as you can. "I'm afraid I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, sir."
He chuckles with that warm mature voice. You swear it sounds familiar. "Too bad,I guess." He downs the rest of his soda. "What a waste, you'd make a fabulous sorcerer." And he pays before he leaves.
You? You don't realize you've been holding your breath till you see the doors of the bar close, him and his cursed energy disappearing behind them.
Whatever that was,you don't want to find out. You're not going to let a random weird guy with crazy cursed energy ruin the life you struggled to create for yourself out of that damn world of jujutsu.
⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆
You pull the cool night air into your lungs. "God,I hate the smell of alcohol..."
"Honestly, same. So why won't you become a sorcerer instead of working in such place?" You just at the familiar voice.
He's leaning against the wall with his hands shoves in his pocket and a smirk attached to his face. "I do-"
He brings up his hand to stop you. "You have two options in front of you. Return at will, with me. Or...you can wait until the higher-ups come and take you by force. In their eyes, you're an important piece who also happen to hold a lot of information"
He pauses, then chuckles. With that same warm voice. "Oh,don't be so stiff now. I went out of my way to create the best case scenario for you."
You frown. "Who are you?"
His face splits into a grin. "I'm Satoru Gojo,a special grade sorcerer." He brings down his blindfold and your breath catches in your throat as his beautiful cerulean eyes lock onto yours. You were right. His eyes are indescribably mesmerizing. "I think we have that in common, former special grade sorcerer,y/n y/l/n. Now,choose."
You grit your teeth, your frown deepening as you look away. "Tsk..."
He steps closer, grabs your chin and tilts your head so that you're looking at him. "Come back with me,y/n,and I promise I won't let anyone hurt you."
"How can you guarantee that?" You mutter.
"Well I'm not sure how this is gonna be,but don't worry." He chuckles, his eyes softening slightly. "I'm the strongest after all."
⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆
"Why did you leave in the first place?" Gojo takes a sip of his coffee. "Mm..did I ever mention the coffees you make taste awesome?"
"You did, just now. But I don't know how you can figure the taste of coffee when you put so much sugar into it." You smile with a raised eyebrow.
It's been a few days since you moved in with him because he promised to protect you and because he forced you to quit your job -which led to you not having a place to stay at- but he pays for your everything. So it's a win isn't it?
"As for your question,I couldn't reach a mutual understanding with the higher-ups."
Gojo laughs, which leads to him almost choking on his coffee. "Tell me," He says between coughs. "Just when did anyone reach a mutual understanding with the higher-ups?"
"Fair point." You chuckle before taking a sip of your own coffee, completely sugar-free,unlike Satoru's.
"I don't blame them for wanting you back though." He says, pointing a finger at you. "As the special grade you were, you took on many important and top-secret missions, which resulted in you holding a lot of information. Too risky for them. You also have a very cool technique! There aren't many sorcerers, curse users or even curses with the ability to control elements, specially water. Plus, they're always short on members and you're a special grade soooo..."
You chuckle as you put your cup down. "If I am that important then why did they let me leave in the first place?"
"Why are you asking me that question?" He smirks. "Probably because they're total idiots."
You smile. "I think we have more in common than what we think."
"You think so?" He winks at you, causing you to giggle. "Anyway, your uniform will be ready tomorrow. After that you'll go see those old men."
"Thanks." You drink the rest of your coffee.
"Of course." He smiles.
You fist your hand. Whatever they have ready for you,you don't plan on letting them have their way. You won't let them ruin it,ruin you, again.
"How come you were once a sorcerer and you don't know anything about me?" He says, pulling you out of your trance-like state.
"I forgot,I guess." You shrug.
"Hmm..." He hums thoughtfully. "You're amazing. I didn't think anyone could ever forget me." He chuckles, and you're about to do too but then you feel a sharp pain in your head.
You squeeze your eyelids tight and groan in pain. Satoru's worried voice can be heard, but it seems distant. So far and unreachable. "Y/n!? Y/n!! What's wrong,y/n!?"
His voice trails off,and so does your consciousness.
⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆.⋆。‧˚ʚ ❀ ɞ˚‧。⋆
You open your eyes and see the vast sky in front of you.
"Finally up?" A deep male voice says,a familiar one at that.
"Where...? Who are you?" You look at him,but his face is blurry. You look around yourself. You're on a roof?
"Wow,you forgot about me? Didn't think that was possible." He laughs softly. "Maybe it's because you're exhausted. You've been going on a lot of missions recently. Do you even eat and sleep enough?"
"I..." You feel warm tears stream down your cheeks. "I'm sorry...I...forgot..."
'Why am I crying?'
He brings his hand to your face and wipes at your tears. "Shh...it's okay, don't cry. Even if you forget me,I'll always remember you." He pushes his forehead to yours,a very soft motion that relaxes you, soothes your mind and eases your worries. "I promise..."
And his voice trails off as your vision gets blurry.

"Y/n!!" Satoru jumps up when he sees you open your eyes.
You're on a bed,and this room...is it Satoru's? "What happened...?" You mumble, looking around yourself to see the sun rising. "How much time has passed?"
"You suddenly fainted. A-are you okay? Should I take you to a doct-" He freezes when he sees the tears on your face. "Wha- why are you crying...?"
"I..." You wipe at your tears. "I don't know..."
Satoru lays you on the bed again and pulls the blanket on you. "Shh...it's okay..." He caresses your cheek softly. "Maybe you're just tired. Sleep for a while." And he leans down to press a kiss to your forehead before he stands up.
You grab the hem of his shirt and whisper quietly "Don't go..." which he hears.
He grabs your hand and runs his thumb on the back of your hand in circles. "Okay...okay,I'll stay."
"Promise?" You sniffle.
He squeezes your hand and brings it to his forehead. "I promise..."

"Thanks for coming with me. You made things so much easier."
"Don't mention it." Satoru says with a smile while tapping his fingers on the table.
After you went to talk with the higher-ups,Satoru insisted you two go have an ice cream. He's out of his usual Gojo style today, wearing a buttoned shirt and blue jeans. He's also wearing sunglasses today instead of his blindfold and you can see his crystal blue eyes and snow white eyelashes through them.
"I guess I'll have a chocolate special. With cream and chocolate chips. What about you,y/n? I highly recommend strawberry and chocolate palace! Oh,and don't even bother looking at the prices,it's on me!"
He's so cute, talking about desserts with the excitement of a child, you can't help but giggle at that. "I'll take your word for it,I'll have that then."

After ice cream,Satoru persists you two take a stroll in a not-so-far park.
"That was too much. I don't how you can eat one of those!" You chuckle, and he does too.
"Hey,don't underestimate my sweet tooth!"
Both of you spend some time in the silence, looking at each other.
"Call me crazy but..." Your voice breaks the silence. "I feel like...we had a connection...you know? Like..."
He smiles and steps closer, cupping your face with both hands. "Let's not think about it too much, okay? I'm just glad I finally found you."
"You've been looking for me?"
He caresses your cheek with his thumb. "I've been...for a long time..." He pushes his forehead to yours and stares into your eyes.
You stay like that for a while, his hands holding your face and his fingers caressing your cheeks, foreheads pressed together and eyes locked onto each other.
"Did I..." He swallows. "Did I mention how beautiful you look in this new uniform?"
You chuckle, but you get interrupted as you feel a sharp pain in your head.
Not again.
Your vision starts to blur, and you feel your body fall on Satoru's as your consciousness leaves you.

You open your eyes and you see you're in the same park, but not exactly the same.
The time seems different,it's almost sunset. The once rotten plants and empty old pots are now replaced by healthy flowers, colored pots with small buds in them.
"Why did you ask for a new uniform?" You turn and see the same boy from last time, and his face is still blurry. You open your mouth to respond, but then you hear another voice. A voice very similar to yours.
"It had a skirt!" Your head snaps in the direction of the voice similar to yours and you see a girl similar to yourself but younger. She's wearing a uniform similar to the boy's,similar to the one Satoru got for you.
"And?" The boy says, shifting his weight from one leg to the other.
"I hate skirts!"
'What's going on...? Is this...a memory?'
The boy chuckles and steps closer to the girl. He reaches out and caresses the girl's cheek before pushing his forehead to hers. A very familiar gesture. "Did I mention how beautiful you look in this one, though?"
"I thought you don't like it." The girl frowns.
"I like it,y/n. I absolutely love it. It's yours, how can I not love anything that's yours?" And the girl giggles.
'Y/n. He called her y/n'.
Your heartbeat and breathing quickens, the world spinning around you as you start to panic.bYou fall on your knees and hold your head in your hands.
What's going on?
You don't know why the boy called the girl by your name. You don't know why her uniform was so similar to the one you received today, the one that Satoru ordered for you. Hell, you don't even know why you're seeing such things.
But all of this started since Satoru entered your life.
"I have to wake up...!" You mumble, too lost in your panic that you don't hear how deep down, the chains of your binding vow tackle...

Hi! I'm in quite an angsty mood at the minute, so my blurb request us for something a little sad with Lando. Could I request an angst with two prompts (9 + 131). I'm thinking like Lando gets in a crash and reader is scared of losing him, so she stays by his side, and happy ending - Lando is okay? Tysm! Hope you're doing well lovely 😘
send me thoughts/blurb requests (sfw & nsfw) for lando weekend
notes: this one is angsty guys, but there’s a happy ending. also please forgive me if i do horribly at describing the crash and the hospital setting, i am not a mechanic nor am i a doctor
warnings: car crash, hospitalization
A silence fell over the track as the papaya colored car rammed into the wall. He was doing well, second only behind Max. He was driving through a chicane, weaving back and forth, until he started sliding around. The car had spun out off the track, then collided with the wall.
A red flag was called immediately, the other drivers all making their way back to the pit lane. You stared up at the screens in the garage. The front of the car was crumpled, the black number four now bent up. You could hear Lando’s engineer talking, asking for Lando to respond, to say he was okay.
Smoke started to rise from the car into the air.
You felt your heart drop and pound in your chest simultaneously.
The safety car is quick to get to his car, pulling his unmoving body out of the crumpled car. They put him in the safety car, and drive off towards the medical car.
You want to go to him, to see him, to see that he’s still alive, that he’s okay. You feel a hand on your shoulder and turn to see Oscar standing next to you.
“I’m sure he’s okay. The damage was mostly to the front of the car. Plus the halo took most of the hit to the wall.” He tells you softly.
You know Oscar has a talent for being passive, but you can tell he’s struggling to hold his emotions together. Oscar joins you at the hospital they’re keeping Lando at once the race has finished. He sits with you while you sit next to your boyfriend, holding his hand.
He’s got wires connected to him, and a heart monitor attached, the steady beeping giving you a bit of hope. The doctors say he’s alright, he just needs to wake up. He had fainted due to the crash, and his body had shut down. He’s recuperating, they said. He just needs to wake up on his own.
Oscar leaves once visiting hours are over, heading back to the hotel to rest. You opt to stay with Lando, just in case anything happens, in case he wakes up.
You spend the night sleeping in an uncomfortable chair, leaning against his hospital bed. When you wake up, Lando is still unconscious, his breathing still steady.
You didn’t think it would take this long for Lando to wake up. Was there something more that the doctors didn’t tell you? Should he be awake by now?
You feel a few tears start to trail down your cheeks as you look at your boyfriend. His face is slightly pale, it’s odd seeing as he likes to keep up with his tan. His hair is matted down, less fluffy than usual. His chest slowly rises and falls with every breath he takes.
“Wake up Lando, please. I’ve gotten used to seeing your stupid face everyday, you can’t take that away from me.” You attempt to joke. “You need to wake up because I can’t do this without you.” You say sincerely.
You lean your head down on his arm, crying into the fabric of his hospital gown.
“Why are you crying love?” His voice is rough, almost scratchy, but you recognize it immediately.
Your head shoots up at see Lando giving you a tired smile. You throw your arms around him, pulling him into a bone crushing hug, only pulling away when you hear him groan.
“Sorry, I’m sorry.” You wipe at your eyes frantically. “I should get the nurse.” You stand up and start to step away when Lando tugs on your hand.
He doesn’t really have any strength, but you turn back to him.
“Stay? Just for a minute?” He shifts a little, creating a space next to him on the bed for you to lay.
You nod and lay down next to him.
He tells you about the crash, about the fear coursing through him as he spun waiting for the impact. He tells you that the last thing he remembers was thinking about you, about how he wished you weren’t watching the screens so you wouldn’t have to see it.
“I won’t leave you. Not like this. I’ll spend a thousand lifetimes coming back to you. It doesn’t matter how much I crash, I’ll always come back to you.”
You spend a little while with him before a nurse comes in to check on him, surprised that he’s awake. She’s quick to shoo you out of the bed, but you keep yourself planted at his side. You’re not leaving him anytime soon.
