Peter Parker from my (now named) fic WIP “Help Me, I don’t feel like myself anymore.”!

A Marvel/DC fic where Peter, unfortunately, ends up in Gotham after some magic shenanigans and finds that not only does he also not exist here but Richard Parker’s still alive and not named Parker and Uncle Ben’s gone white at 20 and has a whole lot more rage than he’s ever remembered the man having.

It’s not a good time for any of them.

while i like to just ignore a lot of things that happened between the first and the third season of daredevil, there is one thing that keeps coming back to me.

it's a simple premise, really. set back in the defenders, when they're at the police station. matt walks out of the room to talk to foggy, they have their little squabble, the usual. foggy gives matt the bag. instead of waiting, matt puts his hand inside it and feels his mask beneath his fingertips. there's a rush of emotions hitting him like a train. a smile tugs onto his slightly open mouth. foggy's voice is still strong but sounds like a white noise in his ears. then, his arms fly out over his friend's shoulder, pulling him closer. he feels his and foggy's heartbeats echo loudly in their ribcages. he cannot stop smiling. not when foggy's voice disappears, not when their lips meet halfway.

it's soft. it's warm. everything feels tingly. his fingers hold foggy still. with a bright and wide smile, matt lets go, turns on his heel and walks back to the room.

he sets down the bag on the couch, telling jessica and luke about the plan. they watch him silently before jess blurs out:

"You and Nelson dating?"

"Nope," replies Matt.

"...But you kissed him?"

"Yep."

"Wanna talk about it?"

"Nope."

foggy stays still for a long moment before walking back to karen. he makes a point not to say anything. maybe it's better that way, he will think, as his eyes will lazily watch the news not so much later.

few months more.

there's a familiar voice.

In a recent interview, Pine gave a straightforward response when asked if he would consider returning to the superhero genre – "No." It seems unlikely that we will see Pine in any future DC or Marvel films, as he seems content with his current projects.

Another banger fanfiction from mysterycyclone! I'm quickly becoming obsessed with MCU/DC crossovers, and wholeheartedly believe there need to be more. Anyway, I'm aware they were eating reubens in this scene but I can't draw them for some reason?? Let's pretend they are waiting for the order.
