𓆩♡𓆪 Dead Man Walking
──⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
c/w: light threats. mafia esque gambler bada. possessive bada (yall know thats my shit). smut. bada fingers reader!
a/n: hiii, just wanted to drop something small i did. i'm feeling a little better today. enjoy!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
──⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
“god- fuck. you feel so good on top of me.”
bada’s hands are gripping your waist so hard you’re sure you’ll see bruises in a couple hours. she was so angry. she was fucking pissed.
──⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
she’d had you perched in her lap as she sat at the oval table, balancing a couple chips in her hand. she brings you gambling and calls you her lucky charm each time. you know the real reason she wins is that she’s got a killer poker face (and knows the dealer personally,) but you humor her anyway.
she’d gotten caught admiring you for a little too long as the man across from her coughs,
“your turn, miss.”
bada doesn’t take her eyes off of you. not to check her hand, not doing a double take as she smoothly drawls out,
“raise.”
bada’s hand moves three forest green poker chips, each worth $25,000, to the pool. the man who addressed her earlier lets out a determined “call”, matching her bet. bada’s eyes stray from yours to his. a smirk stretches across her lips,
“brave of you.”
the man mirrors her smile,
“the money isn’t all i’m after.” his eyes flick from bada’s to your own, scanning your body up and down.
bada’s smirk falters and you feel her fingertips tap against your skin in irritation.
“tread lightly, sir. i wouldn’t want you to regret coming tonight.”
the man lets out a light chuckle, “oh come on miss lee, she can’t be worth more than a couple grand. you can’t give her up for just a night? she’s so pretty.”
bada’s jaw clenches as she tries to keep up her cool facade,
“she is, isnt she…”
bada looks straight at the man as she lays down her hand- a royal flush. she grabs your hand and kisses the back of it,
“you’d be wise to leave now, especially if you want to keep hold of that reckless tongue you have.”
the man’s smirk drops and he pales as he begins to realize that bada is not joking. he takes note in how the entire room tenses and how each dealer seems to stiffen at her words, almost ready to flee the scene at the drop of a hat. he slowly steps out of his chair, dignity stolen and $75,000 poorer. his steps are slow and soft as he exits the room.
bada’s leg bounces as she looks around. everything seems to be pissing her off now. the noise of poker chips hitting the table. cards being shuffled and sorted. all of it- every noise setting her off. she’s pulled out of her stupor by your soft hand tucking her hair behind her ear,
“you okay?”
her eyes close as she takes a deep breath. she counts to three and opens her eyes again. her personal dealer looks to her for confirmation and bada offers a short nod. the dealer stands and announces the following,
“okay, we’re closing up shop. time to go.”
──⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
and now you’re here.
bada’s lips smashed against yours, tongue licking into your mouth. her hands gripping your waist like you’re going to disappear any moment now. she takes deep breaths as she parts from you, planting short kisses on your lips in between each pant.
“so pretty.”
you pull away, “only to you.”
bada scoffs, “i wish it was only to me,” she hikes your dress up to your waist, pushing your panties to the side as her fingers ghost over your cunt,
“fucking bastard-,” two fingers start to circle your clit and your legs spread more in her lap, “should’ve taken his fucking eyes out.”
bada’s fingers make their way from your clit to ghost over your opening,
“tell me baby,” her thumb applies pressure to your clit as her fingers dip into you, “who are you?”
you hiss as she starts a slow pace,
“your pretty baby.”
bada hums and plants a kiss at the base of your neck,
“again.”
your hands grip her shoulders,
“your pretty baby.”
bada sighs and decides she needed more. she grunts as she removes her hand from your cunt and lifts you off of her lap. she lays you onto the table, knocking down the mountain of chips in the center.
she fully removes your underwear and one hand circles around your neck, the other goes back to toying with your pussy. she inserts two fingers again and starts at a much rougher, faster pace than before.
“say it again. louder.”
you moan it out this time, hands coming up to grip her arm, “your pretty baby, bada. yours.”
she lets out a low chuckle as she towers over you, leaning down to press her lips against yours.
“so good for me, isnt that right angel?”
you nod against her. she keeps her lips against yours, swallowing your moans. she wanted to keep every part of you to herself. if she was just a little more fucked up, she’d lock you up in your shared home, not letting you leave under any circumstance. the way you’re mewling in her mouth, back arching and pussy clenching around her fingers, it makes her ponder on it for longer than normal.
“you gonna cum for me?” her fingers slow down, opting to curl up and press against your g-spot. you cry out, nearly thrashing against her. the hand around your neck tightens just enough to make you lightheaded. your eyes roll to the back of your head and your body lights up.
bada kisses the top of your forehead,
“cum for me, pretty girl.”

right person (2/3)
Tumblr media
pairing: luca x reader
wc: 3.3k
a/n: part two is hereee! i took the conversation that marcus and luca had while chopping/folding dough and revamped it for this fic <3 hope yall like it
warnings: 18+ SMUT, swearing
part 1 / part 3
as it turns out making shiso gelee wasn't as complicated as it sounds but it also helped massively that chef luca is always near to correct any mistakes.
the kitchen is silent besides the sounds of pots and smacking of dough from marcus' station.
luca is drying some tupperware at the table behind you while you whisk some liquid gelatin.
"that's a little bit too thick," he says peering over. "so just add some more pineapple juice."
you caught a whiff of his aftershave which made you want to lose your mind. "yes, chef."
doing as he instructed, you add more juice. "just to know for the future, can i ask why?"
he glances at you before going back to his task at hand. "uh, the thicker it is, the stronger it is. so too thick and it overpowers the other components."
"good to know... and what do you serve this with exactly?"
"uh, we do that with a thin slice of marzipan and a caramel cracker," luca answers.
"damn, that sounds good," you say.
"yeah, it's a nice dish," he comes over to your side and puts away some freshly dried containers.
"uh you're good to go on your break, by the way. we can pick this up in 15,"
"are you sure?"
"yes. the gel needs to set anyways."
"thank you, chef," you smile and make your way to an area behind the restaurant for a smoke break. lucky for you, that area had a nice wooden bench. you take a seat and place a cigarette between your lips, lighting it.
taking your first drag, you shut your eyes and lean your head against the exposed brick of the building.
"i, uh, i don't suppose i could use your lighter, chef," a voice asks. the accent is instantly recognizable.
"oh, sure," you go over to where he's standing and close the distance between you as you light his bud.
you stuff your lighter back into your pocket but don't return to the bench.
"y/n," you say after a few moments.
"sorry?"
"it's just, uh, when we aren't in the kitchen, you can call me y/n,"
he nods.
"so tell me y/n," he says. "how do you like you copenhagen so far?"
"well, considering i've been in the city less than 48 hours, i have no complaints. the scenery is beautiful. food is pretty good and the people..." you look up at him. "i'm still getting to know the people."
he holds your gaze before letting out a cloud of smoke. "hmm."
if you didn't think there was a weird tension between you earlier, you definitely feel it now.
“if you, uh, ever want a proper tour, let me know,” luca says.
it takes everything you have to not breakout into a massive smile. “thanks, chef.”
“outside the kitchen, luca,”
this time you nod. “luca.”
he clears throat and steps on his cigarette. “well, we’d better get back inside and check on the gelee,”
“of course, how could we forget about the gelee,” you say following him back in and you swear you hear him chuckle.
when you got back to your station, you began blanching some large green leaves first by boiling it in hot water and then immediately dumping it in a metal bowl filled with ice water so it doesn't lose its colour.
luca took the metal bowl and brought it to the table behind you where the blender was. he takes a clump of the leaves and then adds water.
"start off low," luca says as he turns on the blender.
the loud noise jolts you a bit.
"you can see the colour change," he says as you move closer. "you see it starting to get brighter?"
"gorgeous colour," you say.
"yeah, it is."
luca pours the green liquid into a sifter and hands you the purified liquid.
he watches as you pour the liquid into a new bowl and asks you to to bloom the gelatin with the cold green liquid to prevent potential clumps.
the second half of your shift flew by because before you knew it, it was time to clock out of the day.
in the change room, you removed your apron and since you were alone you removed your shirt as well quickly sliding on the grey sweatshirt you came with.
just as you brought your sweatshirt down, luca walked in and stood at his locker across from you.
turning your head slightly to peek at him, you caught him pulling off his shirt and since his back was turned towards you, he couldn't see you drinking in the sight of him.
you turned back around and pressed your lips.
"uh, luca," you say.
"yeah?" he says.
"about that, uh, personal tour? is now a good time?" you slowly turn his way.
he cracked the faintest smile. "sure. anywhere particular in mind?"
you shake your head. "wherever you wanna show me,"
"in that case, might i suggest some sustenance first? does coffee sound good?"
"coffee sounds fucking great," you sigh and follow him out the door and on to the sidewalk.
"there's this cafe that i love just up the road," he says.
walking alongside him, you take in your height difference. he's probably 6'2" to your 5'7" so it was perfect.
when you arrive at a hole-in-the-wall cafe, that had blue painted bricks and picture frames of happy looking folks. probably customers or family members.
"hi," luca says going up to the old woman behind the counter. "can i get a medium black coffee and...." he looks to you to say your coffee of choice.
"just a caramel latte please,"
"a caramel latte," he repeats "and two snegls please,"
you grab a table for the two of you near the window so you can people watch while luca gets your order. it's midday now and you watch as people in their own little lives pass by the window.
luca makes his way to you holding two coffee cups and clutching two bags of pastries.
"okay now can i ask what the hell a snegl is?" you say once he's seated.
"sure. it's cinnamon roll style pastry but shaped like a snails shell if that makes sense," he explains.
"so a cinnamon bun?"
he was going to refute your statement but upon seeing the look on your face, he concedes. "yeah, it's a cinnamon bun,"
you guys shard a small laugh.
"so long have you been a cook?" he asks taking a sip of his hot drink.
"about six years now. i went to university for psychology but didn't really feel like it was my thing," you answer.
"so you dropped out?"
"no. after all the hard work my parents did to raise me, dropping out, no matter how disengaged i was, was not an option. so i got that degree but i did tell them the truth. that my heart wasn't in it for that right reasons."
"so how did you fall into cooking?" luca sat up ready to hear your story.
"my dad taught me everything i know," you say a lump started to form in your throat. "i swear his favourite place besides his bed was the kitchen."
luca stayed silent and let you collect yourself. "he passed recently... but he was the best mentor i could have asked for."
"i'm sure he's proud," luca said with sincerity.
you give him a small smile.
"what about you?" you say ready to move on before you start crying in front of your hot co-worker. "how long have you been doing this?"
"uh, fourteen years now..."
"oh, so you started when you were three?" you ask deadpanned.
he chuckles. "close enough, yeah."
"and with that accent i'm guessing you're from london."
"you'd be correct. and you're from chicago?"
"born n raised," you confirm. "so did you go to culinary school?"
"i didn't. no. i didn't do too well in school. got in quite a bit of trouble. ditched the check. they caught me. made me wash dishes, and, uh, i loved it."
"wow, you might be the only person i know that loves washing dishes,"
he shrugs. "it gives me time to reflect."
"fair enough," you hold your hands up. "i can't argue with that."
"so, uh, you said your dad passed recently, but how recent? if you don't mind me asking?"
"no, not at all. i love talking about him," you say. "he died a little over a year ago and not gonna lie... i didn't handle it too well. it was sudden. in his sleep. so i had no chance to say goodbye and i think that's what still hurts more than anything."
you let a tear fall but quickly wiped it away. "i'm sorry."
"you never have to apologize to me. ever. and especially for crying," he hands you a tissue that came with the pastries.
"you're an only child?" he asks taking out a snegl and placing one in front of you.
"i have two brothers. and you?"
"uh, yeah. i have a younger sister somewhere... yeah,"
"somewhere?" you echo taking slow bites of your snegl.
he clears his throat. "half-sister, i have to clarify. my parents separated when i young and my mum quickly found someone new. then my sister came along and then one day... my mum just left. no goodbye or anything just a note saying she wanted to focus on herself... my step-dad got custody of my sister and well i was 18 by that time so i moved out and moved on."
you stay silent for a few seconds. you couldn't believe a mother could abandoned her kids like that, especially someone as great as luca.
"she's missing out... your mom."
"yeah," he sighs.
you were starting to see luca in a different light. after telling him your story and you his, all you wanted to do was hold him and hope to ease his pain and loss. but you couldn't do that so you opted for something safer. kind of...
"hey, want to come back to mine and i can cook us a meal or something?"
"you still wanna cook after today?"
"you can take the cook out of the kitchen, but you can’t take the kitchen out of the cook."
he laughs at that. "okay, let's go."
you and luca talk some more on the way to your place. he makes you laugh telling stories of his younger rugrat days in london and when you're talking, he hangs on to your every word.
"you... live on a boat?" he says when you arrive.
you look back opening the door. "cool, huh?"
"very."
you turn to luca as you place your bag on a hook at the front door. "can i get you anything?"
"water is fine," he says taking a seat the dining table. you get his water and tell him to make himself comfortable as you went up stairs to change into a t-shirt and loose jeans.
it's only when you make your way back down and see luca sitting at the table, that you've realized how small your space and intimate your living space was.
"what's on the menu for tonight, chef?" luca asks as he spots you coming down the steps.
"home made pizza, if your elegant taste buds can handle that?" you reply.
"i can never turn down a pizza,"
you got started on the dough and soon enough luca is by your side helping. what was supposed to be you cooking for him, turned to him taking over and doing all the work which you let him happily.
"how did you get good at this?" you ask as you finished with your slice.
he exhales. "honestly, i made a lot of mistakes."
"so that's the secret then? just fuck up?"
he smiles. "it might be, you know, fuck up."
"i think 'cause i started early, i got my skill set up really quick and then started to feel like i was really the best, you know, like at all these really good places. i really was the best cook. and then i started at this really great place as a commis. and this other chef started the same day as me, and..." he sighs.
"i thought we were competition, um, but really we weren't. he was better than me. much, much better than me. he worked harder and faster than i ever could. and it was the first time i realized that i wasn't the best," he confides.
"and i was never gonna be the best. so i started looking at it like it was a good thing. like, at least i knew who the best was now, and i could take that pressure off myself. and the only logical thing to do was to try and keep up with him. so i never left this guy's side."
"and you got better," you say.
"oh, i got better than i ever thought i possibly could be just from trying to keep up with him."
"that's incredible, honestly," you say putting the dirty dishes in the sink and hopping on the counter.
"thanks but i think at a certain stage it becomes less about skill and it's more about being open."
"open?" you echo.
"yeah. to-to the world, to yourself, to other people. you know, most of the incredible things that i've eaten haven't been because the skill level is exceptionally high or there's loads of mad fancy techniques. it's because it's been really inspired, you know." he says.
"i like that," you say softly.
"you can spend all the time in the world in the kitchen, but if you don't spend enough time out there..." he trails off but you understood what he meant.
"right," you nod.
luca lifts his gaze to you. "it helps to have good people around you, too."
"is what i am? good people?" you smile coyly.
he gets up and walks over to you, placing his hands on either side of the counter in front of you. "honestly? i really think so."
a few moments go by where luca just studies your face and you can feel your heart beating a million miles per hour.
"you are so fucking beautiful," he finally says. his voice barely above a whisper.
those words set your body aflame. you parted your lips and he leaned. "may i?"
"please," was all you managed to get out before luca held your chin and guided your lips to his. he was taking things slow, trying to sus your level of comfortability and giving you the chance to pull away if you wanted but you didn't want that. ever.
you brought your arms around his neck pushing him closer to you. the kiss got heavier and you moaned as he bit your lip. "i have been wanting to do this since i first saw you,"
"good because i've wanted this too," you say as luca starts to kiss your neck and moves his hands under your top.
he slides his hand up and down your back and then around to your boobs to start playing with your nipples. you lean your head back and revel in his affection.
you were desperate to get his hands on him as well so you lifted the black hoodie he adorned wanting to see his chest that you caught just a glimpse of earlier.
"wow," you say as you running both hands across his pecs and abs. you trail your fingers down south before you cup him through his jeans. "is this okay?" you whisper.
"more than okay," he lets out as you message him through his jeans.
he moves to take off your top next and you help, revealing your bare chest to him. luca looks at you in awe and immediately attaches his lips to your nipple while still playing with other.
you unbutton your jeans and luca helps you shimmy out of them.
"fuck," he whispered at the sight of you sitting completely naked and ready for him. he slides two fingers up and down your slit. "you're so wet, is this all for me?"
you whimper at his touch, spreading your legs wider. "all for you, luca."
he brings his fingers to his lips to taste you. "just like i imagined, you taste so sweet" he says as he gets on his knees and slides you to the edge of the counter.
the first lick was heaven. you couldn't help but throw your head back and moan. luca doesn't waste anytime, eating you like your his last meal.
"l-luca," you whine as he sucks on your clit. you grab his golden locks as he laps at your cunt.
"you're the best thing i've ever tasted," luca says in between licks. coming from a chef, that was the highest praise a girl could get.
he detaches himself from your cunt, his nose, lips and chin covered in your juices. he stands and holds your face in his hands and kisses you. you taste yourself on his tongue as he slipped it down your mouth.
"i need to fuck you or else i'm gonna lose my mind," he says in breathy whispers.
"upstairs," is all you said before he carries you in that direction and up the stairs to your bed.
luca drops you on the bed and you lay on your forearms and watch as him takes off his jeans and then his boxers. as he pulls that down, he watches you watch him.
your eyes go wide at the sight of his hard, and rather large, dick. you reach to wipe the pre-cum leaking from his tip, pressing it to your lips. he groans and climbs on top of you. "condom?"
"i'm on the pill," you say caressing his hair back and bringing his lips back to yours.
luca takes his aching dick and rubs it against your slit. "are you ready?"
"mmhm," you say as he wraps your legs around his waist as he sinks into you.
muffled moans are exchanged between the two of you as your mouths clashed hungrily.
"you're so big, luca" you say, squeezing down on his eliciting a hiss from him.
"y-yes squeeze me like that again... fuck," he thrusts his hip into you at a steady pace as you scratched your nails across his muscled back.
"this feels so good," he murmurs.
you gasp as he pulls out almost all the way only to push back int you again. you pull your knees up so he can reach deeper inside you. you could feel him stretching you and filling you up, his beautiful face inches away from yours as he peppers your neck with sloppy kisses.
the sounds falling from your lips are incoherent, his pace moving at a high speed as he wants to get you off. it didn't take long for you to gain the warm sensation in the pit of your stomach. "i'm so c-close,"
"yeah? cum for me, darling," he moans keeping that speed that he's at, his dick throbbing inside you as well signalling he was gonna cum soon.
luca let out a throaty groan before he snaps his hips into you, feeling his first load release into your cunt. you follow close behind as you cover his dick with your wetness but he stills fucks you through your high.
as you catch your breaths, he leans his forehead against your collarbone before he pulls out.
"wait there," he says and goes downstairs and comes back up just as quickly carrying paper towels. he smiles to himself seeing you in your current position all fucked out, liking the effect he had on you.
the bed dips as luca makes his way to you and cleans you up.
you slide under the covers, and when he discards the paper towels, he joins you.
"that was good," you say as he brings you into his chest.
his fingers trail up and down your arm softly while he lays his head on top of yours.
"it was," he says planting a kiss on your head.
"can we stay like this for a bit?" you ask not wanting this moment to end.
"yeah, i'm not going anywhere," he says.
between the day that you had and luca caressing you, you let tiredness wash over you.

☆ minghao.
it was afternoon already and no matter how many times you planned to wake up on a reasonable time on the weekend, it never really happened. but then you couldn't get yourself to be very harsh about it to yourself or minghao, after all these were the days that you would really get to be together and to relax.
he was still sleeping when you woke up and deciding to make something, stepped inside the kitchen. you did feel kind of odd but it only got focused on when minghao came up behind you.
he had his arms around from the back, "we should go back to sleep,"
"we need to eat, hao,"
"wait, wait," his voice suddenly sounded much more awake than before, he came beside you and asked you to face him.
"why do you feel so warm?" he touched your arm, and then neck and then finally your forehead. "are you kidding me? you have a fever, go back to bed, i'll make you something,"
"i don't think-"
"hush, i don't even know how you managed to be sick, god, you’re so irresponsible, i need to make chicken soup now. and why are you still standing there? go to bed. you’re lucky tomorrow is a sunday. sleep it off."
he keeps on muttering, he acts like a complete asian mother when it comes to you being sick. and true to his words, he comes in a while later with a bowl of chicken soup in his hands and as you sip on it, he checks your temperature again.
"we need a wet cloth,"
so after you’re done with the soup, he wets a towel and puts it to your head.
"how do you feel?"
"a little headache,"
"okay, okay, here's what we're going to do, you’re going to close your eyes and i'm going to call you when the dinner's ready, you’re not getting up before that unless it's to use the bathroom, okay?"
"yes, sir,"
he brings a bottle of water and keeps it on the bedside table.
"keep drinking this until you fall asleep, okay?"
you nod your head.
you didn’t think it was that big of a fever, maybe a routine one that wasn't that serious but minghao's strict mom mode has turned on and you were sure your efforts of trying to tell him that this was nothing would be met with him shutting you up, so you lay in bed.
as he leaves to make you dinner, you call out his name.
"hao,"
"what's wrong, baby?"
"can't you just order something? please stay with me,"
his eyes soften and he sits beside you on the bed, he strokes your face gently, it's not as warm as it was before. and he removes the towel and bows down to kiss your forehead.
"i love you,"
☆ mingyu.
"five more minutes, baby, jus' five more,"
mingyu's arm is wrapped around you entirely, and you have no choice but to oblige. as five minutes pass (you're not consciously looking at the clock, but you’re just nervous) you call out to him again.
"mingyu? baby? five minutes are up," you can't turn your head due to the close proximity and the grip that he has on you but you guess that he's asleep.
"mingyu, we need to go, your parents are going to be waiting for us,”
“I think it’s okay if we delay it to next week, it’s not everyday we get to sleep in like this,”
“Mmhm, while that is true, we made a commitment and we need to follow through on it,”
In between your bickering, your phone rings, and you push out from mingyu’s arms to reach it, and get up, clear your throat.
“It’s your mother,”
“Why is she calling you not me-” you sit down on the bed.
“Sh, yes, we’re about to come there,” mingyu tries getting up to listen in, but you keep on pushing him away.
“Oh, is that so?”
He looks at you confused.
“No worries, it’s alright,”
“Yes, yes, we don’t mind at all,”
“He’s doing good, he’s in the bath right now,” to which mingyu lets out a laugh, you were a little too good at this.
And he wondered how better you would be.
He thought about the ring. The one in his work bag a few steps way but he put away his thoughts as he asked you what his mother said.
“She said your dad got them both tickets for a movie today and we’d have to cancel the lunch, he forgot we had it scheduled,”
His happiness knew no bounds, “come back to bed now, please, babe,”
“Ugh, fine, you have me,”
As you snuggle into bed again, it gets quiet, mingyu has suddenly become quiet.
“Mingyu, everything okay?”
Mingyu turns to your side, his expressions suddenly serious.
“Why are you looking at me?” you laugh because you don’t have a clue what he’s doing.
“Say i ask you to marry me, what would be your answer?”
And you weren’t laughing anymore, “don’t joke about this mingyu,”
His voice drops to almost a whisper and you see it in his eyes, “i’m not joking, i would never joke about it,”
You lean into him and place a kiss on his forehead, “yes, yes i would,”
“Really?” his face lights up. “You’re not just saying that right?”
“You just said it yourself, why would i joke about it?”
“Well, wait then,” he gets out of the comforter and runs outside the room, to his study room, and comes back, his hands behind his back.
“Mingyu, oh my god, you didn’t,”
“Oh, but i did,”
You’re on the verge of tearing up when he slowly brings his hands to the front and gets down on his knee. This is how you execute a perfect proposal - intimate, spontaneous, and comfortable.
“I love you,” you whisper as he slips the ring on your finger, when he gets up, he picks you up and swirls you around, normally you would protest but today you can’t help but let all your care and worry melt away.
☆ seokmin.
seokmin is the first one to notice it, always. the slow fluttering of your eyes, the way your conversations start dwindling with others and the way your words slowly start slurring together. he's the first one to notice that you're way too tired of this gathering, and you want, more than anything but you won't ever say it in fear that you ruin seokmin's evening, to go home.
but what you never understood was that all of this came very secondary to him - sure, he loved his friends, sure he loved hanging out with them but when you needed him, then that is where he'll be. always.
so he takes your hand in his, surprised at how cold it is, even after all this time, even when he knows that your body temperature has always been fairly cooler than his.
"i'm kinda tired," he says, "can we leave?" one of the main tricks here was to flip the situation on him, you never came straight out and told him, even when he asked you multiple times so he gave up and used his telepathic abilities for you.
"are you sure?" you ask, maybe it was the fact that seokmin noticed or maybe those were your soulmate cells that got exhausted of social gatherings at the same time, you thought.
he nods at you, "i think i've had enough drinks for tonight, let’s go,"
he bids goodbye to his friends, who plan on leaving soon too, and you hug the ones that had made your evening so happy.
afterwards in the taxi, you lay your head on his shoulders.
"seokmin?"
"hmmm?"
"we're going home,"
you bring up your linked hands together to point what you mean. home, with him.
"yes, baby, our home." he grins.
and you don't remember when you knock out on his shoulder.
you have no clue of how you made it from the taxi to the apartment but somehow with seokmin supporting your frame and the walls and railings helping you, you do make it and the next thing you remember is the way seokmin tucks you in, and you realize you've been changed out of your uncomfortable outdoor clothes too, he's so gentle with it that you can forget that he's just as tired as you, possibly more. and then he grabs the blue bottle.
"removing makeup?" your grammar is really not the best when you're drowsy, but he nods.
after he's done, he changes his clothes himself and then gets into bed, glad that he can finally go to sleep, and right beside you.
now, he knows you're sleeping, but he can't help but pull you in closer, feel you. it was such a wonder to him in the past that you were actually dating him, and he could actually you his, but now this was all the more wonderful, that you would actually be in his arms every night. the day could bring on whatever it wanted to, as long as he had the nights with you, he would do it all and more for you.

Sims - get to know me
I was tagged by @druidberries & @m0n0lithical! Thank yall for the tags!
I rarely actually play the game so take my answers with a grain of salt but this should be fun!
1. What’s your favourite sims death? Cowplant, hands down
2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? For the longest time I was strictly Maxis Match but recently I've been way more Maxis Mix and I'm loving it
3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Nah I let it happen!
4. Do you use move objects? Religiously, I cannot build without it. Routing be damned!
5. Favorite mod? BBB, I cannot play this game without it. I also get ornery if I don't have UI cheats extension and more CAS columns.
6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? I was on the Sims 4 bandwagon from day 1, so Outdoor Retreat.
7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? Living. You've got build, buy, and live, at least that's how my brain rationalizes it.
8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? I'm obsessed with all of my rpg oc sims (Ariss, Katya, Nat, Kai, Calista, etc), but probably my favorite sim-sim, well that's hard too. I really love my Simeon Silversweater makeover, and Rhiannon Reinhardt is prob my fave original sim.
9. Have you made a simself? I have! I've made myself, my husband and our dog (: One day I'll have to render them and post pics, I'm sure they all need an update now.
10. What sim traits do you give yourself? Clumsy, creative, & paranoid lmao
11. Which is your favorite EA hair color? Idk prob black or dark brown, so many of the other swatches look unnatural to me. I like the fun colors though, esp the lighter blue/cyan-y swatch.
12. Favorite EA hair? In terms of design, I really liked the braids that came with RoM and the really cool swatches, but I rarely ever use that hair.
13. Favorite life stage? YA cause it's the only one with adequate gameplay oops lmfao
14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? BUILDER I rarely play the game at all but if I am I'm probably building. It seems every time I actually get into gameplay (which is rare in itself) something (a patch) comes along and breaks everything to the point where I can't anymore and I lose love for it all over again.
15. Are you a CC creator? I am! But only barely haha. I've made a few recolors and some art, but nothing from scratch YET. Soon hopefully
16. Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? I do! I'm a moderator of @cozyacres's Cozy Cave discord server and I LOVE out little community there! I've also got so many wonderful mutuals here I love you all so much.
17. What’s your favorite game? Sims 3 was fantastic and if I remembered more of it I'd probably say 3, but I got really invested in the community for 4 and it does hold a special place in my heart even if it's deeply flawed. So, 4.
18. Do you have any sims merch? I do not.
19. Do you have a YouTube for sims? I have an account but I haven't posted anything yet! I'd like to one day post speed builds and speed renders, I just need to figure out my recording process (I tab out of what I'm doing so often that I feel like the editing would take a million years for me to remove all of my discord chats lmfao)
20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? I feel like my actual sims style hasn't changed too much, except that I've incorporated a lot more maxis mix/alpha into my style, but that's mostly for rendering and not actual gameplay.
21. What’s your Origin ID? SalemsSims! I have a few CC-free builds on the gallery (:
22. Who’s your favorite CC creator? This is an impossible question to answer. I love so many for gameplay vs render resources.
23. How long have you had a simblr? I just legit checked cause I wasn't sure and it turns out I've been shitposting since 2019! Who knew!? lmao
24. How do you edit your pictures? I'm lucky enough to mooch off my dad's photoshop license. For renders and screenshots alike, I'll edit the brightness, contrast, levels and curves and then use a collection of PS actions/tweaking/blur/vignettes etc as necessary to get the effect I want.
25. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? It's really hard to say... I've been excited for each one of them then disappointed in each one of them lmfao what a mood. I gotta say I was really pleasantly surprised by Werewolves, and HSY exceeded my expectations, even though both had their fair share of disappointments. I don't think I really have a favorite overall though (which is def a side effect of... not actually playing the game, lmao). But those two actually got me playing the game and that's saying something.
26. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? Oops I own them all so, whatever comes next that strikes my fancy. Idk how I feel about the horse rumors though... we'll see if it's actually good or just another disappointment.
Tagging @chaoticsimlish, @reality-refuge, @raiiny-bay, @glammoose, @buttertrait, @crsentfairy, @glittermutt, @crazy-lazy-elder-sims & anyone else who wants to do this! My brain turns into a goldfish whenever it's time to tag so pls don't be offended if I didn't tag you!

Girls Night Out
Tumblr media
warnings: implied virgin, fingering, lesbian implied, bi implied, public sex, smut, fluff, angst
word count: 2164
summary: you along with your groups of friends decide to have a girls' night for the first time in a while, things get heated and your friends end up taking turns using your body.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a Thursday night and you along with the other ladies who went to the same college as you decided to go out and have a girls’ night. Yall planned on going to see a movie, going out for drinks, then finally retiring to Sasha’s barn where yall planned to stay up late telling spooky stories trying to freak one another out. Normally you wouldn’t agree to something like this because socially you were a lost cause, you had many friends and were very close to them. However, when it came to hanging out in large groups and even going out in public with the group, that’s when you started to get anxious. Your friends always had your back though and you knew that. Ultimately you decide not to fret too much and just have fun.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was the beginning of a very long night, you and pieck were roommates so yall got ready at the same time and left together to meet everyone else at the theatre. On the ride there pieck looked over to you and broke the silence- “if it becomes too much just let me know, I’m good to go home anytime.. Okay darling?” she patted your thigh and you nodded waiting for her warm hand to leave its place. It never did. She kept her hand on your thigh occasionally tapping to the beat of the music she turned on after yall briefly spoke. You felt your cheeks begin to warm as you peered out the window. Nobody within the group of friends knew you swung that way you wouldn’t dare tell them fearing the absolute worst. You knew they would love you no matter what and you never thought they would say anything hurtful but you still kept your little secret to yourself.
Piecks hand remained on you the whole car ride to the theatre. When yall arrived you hopped out of the car with intent... That intent being getting away from under piecks touch as you know you wouldn’t be able to hide your heavy breath for much longer. You played it off as getting “all excited” about seeing the movie when you really just wanted to escape. You waited as pieck slowly gathered her items and met you outside the car, yall then proceeded to walk through the glass doors into the theatre where the rest of the girls were already waiting.
“Yo what took yall so long??” Sasha said while stuffing her face full of popcorn. “Yeah, we thought we were gonna miss the movie because of you two” Ymir followed, whilst rolling her eyes. You look around to check everyone out, Historia and Ymir were clinging together, as usual, Sasha and Mikasa playing “hot hands” in the corner. You laughed as Mikasa gagged after Sasha got butter all over her hands. Pieck walked off to go meet hitch at the counter to get some candy. You giggled to yourself and told the girls that the movie was going to start soon and yall should probably head to yalls seats.
Finally, in yalls seats waiting for the movie to begin, you were sat between Sasha and Mikasa. You were definitely closer to these two than you were anyone else. Yall had been a trio since fourth grade and nothing could ever split yall apart. Nothing. All of the ladies were quite touchy with each other, it was all platonic of course. Why wouldn’t it be? Sasha snatched your right hand and hugged your shoulder burying her nose in the crook on your neck as a monster popped out at the screen. “Why would you choose a horror movie when you can't handle them” you whispered to Sasha to which she replied “because I like the way it makes me feel y/n, I get all tingly and itchy” you rolled your eyes holding back a chuckle so you wouldn’t disturb the others during the quiet scene.
You felt a slight tug at your left hand as Mikasa habitually grabs your hand. She tends to do that when she has nothing to do with her hands, it “helps her stay focused” she has explained to you a million times. Between Sashas breath on your neck and Mikasa drawing circles on your hand with her index you couldn’t help but squirm. You go to whisper something about the movie to Mikasa when she goes to do the same, your faces come within an inch of each other, noses barely touching you feel her breath out her nose as it fans across your lips. Your face turns bright pink as you halt in surprise. “I wanted to point out that actor….. Since we’ve spoken about them before…” she spoke softly. You replied with a small “me too…”. Yall have yet to part until you are broken up by screams as the movie takes a turn and Sasha yanks your arm “AHHHHH Y/N HELP!!!!!” Sasha screams in a high-pitched tone. You turn breaking your eye contact with Mikasa “Sasha! Be quiet we arent the only ones here!” you jab at her as you apologetically smile at the others in the theatre. You momentarily forgot about the moment you and Mikasa had until she takes her hand and places it on the back of your neck. Thumb swiping up and down, she pulls you a bit closer to whisper “awfully close weren’t we…” she lets that sentence linger before playfully giggling and removing her hand from your nape.
The movie was finally over and you were one of the last to leave your seat, since you decided to pick up all the popcorn Sasha had dropped after one of the jumpscares, you stand up, lifting your arms towards the ceiling, stretching and letting out a soft moan. You felt hands slither from the small of your back to the front of your hips “wow y/n, you have a hot moan. Whoever sleeps with you must be lucky” Ymir says before shifting you to the side to make way for her and historia. “Ugh, Ymir how many times do I have to tell you it’s not ladylike to talk about such things so casually” “I know I know I’m sorry... But it had to be pointed out” Ymir shrugged “she does have a point y/n.. You have an attractive voice it makes sense your moans would be..” historia pitches in and she looks you up and down before continuing “h o t” she lingers on the t a bit before moving on. You could feel your arousal pooling. The ladies seem different tonight... Maybe it’s just you... Maybe it’s not... They walk out and you follow suit.
You decide to ride with hitch since yall haven’t spoken a lot tonight, you ask her about life and she goes on to rant about her boyfriend noting that he’s not good in bed and she hates his haircut, she finishes her rant off with “ugh maybe I should just switch to girls! You’d date me right y/n?” you pause for a moment then reply with a simple “who wouldn’t!” a simple sentence yet complex at the same time. She turns to you and examines your face “you know I think id be a top if I were with a girl… in fact, you’d make a perfect bottom for me..” her eyes linger a bit too long, your skin crawling whilst illuminated by the red light yall were stopped at. It flashes green and her eyes return to the road “of course if I was single and into girls hahaha” she plays it off.
Yall arrive at the bar shortly after Sasha and Mikasa who had taken the same car and followed by Ymir who carpooled with historia. Mikasa and Sahsa hand out everyone’s paper wristbands, Sasha stops in front of you takes your hand, and putting it on for you. She didn’t do it for anyone else… just you. You decided you were overthinking and you moved on, walking into the club you were bombarded with loud music busybodies and the smell of alcohol. You were stressed, so many people, so many noises, so many smells. It was overwhelming, to say the least. Pieck noticed your uneasiness and placed her hand on the small of your back, she led you to a dark hallway filled with heavy pheromones and kissing partners, past that was a bathroom to which she leads you, pushed you in, followed after you, and locked the door. “Wh-” pieck covered your mouth with a single finger, “I noticed your stress, we can leave if you need y/n” a look of sorrow on her face. “No I’m fine it was just a lot at once I’m sorry, I’m okay now” you push out with a soft smile. Her body moving closer to you she wraps an arm around you pulling you closer “baby… tell me if you need anything, mmkay?” she purrs into your neck giving it a soft peck. Your arousal beginning to pool again you squeeze your thighs.
She excuses herself letting you go and leaving the bathroom. Turning around to face the mirror you scold yourself for acting the way you are when your friends are just being nice, they’d probably feel so grossed out if they knew your cunt was getting all nice and soaked for them, you thought. “Maybe I just need to relieve some stress… yeah that's all it is… built-up stress…” you hiked up the mini skirt that you decided to wear today above your hips and you pulled your new pink lace panties to the side. Beginning to slide your fingers over your unclothed clit the door rattles “hey bear, pieck said you weren’t feeling well so I brought you a dri-” historias sentence is cut short when she looks up to see you sitting on the counter sprawled open like a book. “I’m so so-” you begin before she hurriedly shuts and locks the door behind her.
“I- i- can explain-” she cuts you off before you get a chance to explain “oh bear..” a slight purr in her voice “who knew you had such a perfect pussy?.. All this time you’ve been hiding it from me?” she pouts, you’ve never seen her act this way much less talk this way before. Shocked by her actions you freeze, she steps closer and peers up into your eyes, lifting a hand to show she has her pinky and index slightly bent, she speaks “..may I?” if this was any other night you would freak out, apologize, get dressed quickly and leave, but for some reason you cant. “Please do” a slight whininess in your voice. Taking her ring and middle finger she traces a line from your entrance to your clit making you twitch once she reaches the small bud. She chuckles a bit and continues, pushing her middle finger into you, slowly but surely, you lay your head back resting it on the mirror. A low groan leaves her throat as you tighten around her finger “y/n… can I ask you a question? Hmm?” “nghh yes” you manage to push out through cries and moans. “You’re a virgin aren’t you, bear? Nobody has ever touched this perfect little body. Nobody has ever stuck their fingers in you either, huh?” you nod trying to keep sane while her pace quickens, you squint your eyes shut forcing tears out and down the sides of your face. Your response influenced her as she moved faster prodding another finger at your entrance and pushing it in with her other. “Ahh fuck ‘ri’” RI was a name you’ve called her since yall first met, originally made because you couldn’t remember her full name but it kind of just stuck throughout the years. “I’m gonna- I think I’m g-” cut off by the feeling of her warm tongue prodding your clit, dangerously licking and lapping, boy did she know how to please, and that she did. “RI oh shit” you grab a fistful of her hair as your orgasm hits, continuing to finger fuck you and lightly lick your sensitive bud she helps you ride out your high. “..- first, right?” you couldn’t make out what she said through your hazy mindset “what RI?” she repeats “I was your first, right??” you nod with lazy eyes, she smiles a big smile then gives you a sloppy kiss, you groan into her lips.
She cleans you up then helps you off the counter. Now realizing what had just happened you panic pushing out a quick “oh my goodness ri I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to put you in that position” she chuckles “don’t worry bear there are plenty of other positions I plan to have you in” before you could really digest that she tugs at your wrist leading you out to the main hallway and back to your groups of friends. The night has only begun….

A heavy sigh escaped your lips as you glanced over to the stacks of paperwork you still had to go through. The daunting pileup that only increases every hour. You sighed again as you thumped your head onto the desk, frail arms just barely cushioning the blow. While staring blankly at your own feet, you spied the wastepaper basket sitting near, completely empty apart from a few used sugar sachets and soggy teabags.
Your eyes flit towards the pile of files again and you couldn't help but wonder what would happen if a few papers landed in the trash can, accidentally, of course. You contemplated for a few more seconds, before you shuddered as you imagined familiar cat-like eyes flit across your vision. You didn't want to really know what would happen if he found out about it, did you?
The minx-like golden eyes flashed once again in your mind as you recalled the fateful day. The day from which everything spiralled downhill.
If only, if only your family hadn't gotten into trouble with the Nekoma clan, things would be different. But no, they had to take a loan and fall into the mercy of Nekoma…
But at least you got off easy, you thought as you cradled your head. At least you and your family didn't suffer the same fate as the others. You were thankful to the head of the Nekoma for giving you the opportunity of paying off the debt through work, instead of the usual means. A shudder ran through your spine as you thought of the stories you've heard, of what happened to the other people who owed the clan money.
A heavy Bam shook you from your stupor as your head jerked up to stare at the new batch of files that had been banged onto the stack. You shook your head to clear your thoughts as you reached for the first file of the batch. It would be better to just get to it and finish it before the end of the day. That's when you noticed the little photograph that slipped out on the floor and you bent to pick it up.
There were four guys in the frame, two of them being the focus of the shot, with goofy big smiles and arms draped around each other, though there was a big red circle drawn around the one with owlish silver hair, the ink of the marker recent enough to smudge a little. The other two guys looked like they were not meant to be in the picture, but oddly that fact only made it so much better.
One with blonde highlights stood grimacing in the background while the other guy's face was barely visible, his body half turned and blurry as if someone had called out to him at the last moment when the picture was being taken.
Overall it looked like a fun bunch of friends but you wondered why there was a circle drawn around one of them. You flipped the picture, curiosity getting the best of you. Finding only a date written you turn the picture again, choosing to focus on the people in there.
“T-these are the next in-line heirs to the Nekoma clan” you whisper lowly to yourself. They were the ones who were supposed to take over in the coming years and were your current bosses. You couldn't wrap your head as to what this was doing in your file. You were given only the most basic work to handle as their secretary, numbers to jot down, business meetings to book and take note of the expenses and make detailed reports about meetings they attend. Maybe this slipped in by mistake somehow ??
You centered in on the person grimacing and the one with bed-hair; cogs turn in your brain as you wondered why these two individuals seemed so similar before something dawns on you and an audible gasp leaves your lips as the picture dropped onto your lap.
With trembling hands you shoved the picture back into the file and hide it at the bottom of the stack, maybe this was a file that was not supposed to be in your hands, fuck fuck fuck. Your eyes skim the room to watch out for anyone observing you. These guys didn't trust you enough to give you such things, so obviously it was misplaced and dumped into your paperwork by accident.
You suddenly noticed Lev jogging towards you and your whole body tensed as he approached. You pretended to work on the other files that were scattered around on your desk, typing random words and numbers into the excel sheet, your gaze was strongly focused on your screen yet everything was blurry. If Lev were to take a peek as to what you were doing at this moment,  he would realise that what you were typing was utter bullshit.
“Ah, you remember the stack of files and papers that I just placed here?” He pointed his finger to the stack of papers that still lay stagnant there.
“Yes sir? What can I do for you t-today?” You kicked yourself under the desk for how weird you sounded in the moment, but lucky for you he was in a hurry so he didn't pay much mind to you.
“Can you give those back to me? I think there were five bunches of them, I think I gave you the wrong ones,” he rubbed the back of his head as his voice took an almost sheepish tone by the end.
Without saying anything in return you just nod stiffly before taking the first four files, slowly sneaking in the file that you shoved at the bottom, you softly banged them against the table as if to align them before giving them to him with a small smile.
“Hey Y/n?” Lev called out to you after he cleared his throat. You slowly turned your head towards him trying your best to act innocent as if you hadn't just seen a picture of the mafia head with his friends.
A light pink blush clouded his face as he clumsily took the files from you, bowing a little before he scurries off to give those files to whoever he was supposed to give them to in the first place.
You let out a deep exhale of relief, slumping further into the chair as he turns a corner and goes out of sight. Your phone suddenly buzzes and you yelp as your body jolts upright from the chair, you relax visibly when you notice that it was only a reminder that you had kept on your phone signalling the end of your shift.
Dropping it back onto the table with a clatter you stretched yourself in the chair, a smile gracing your lips as you collect your things to head home, deciding to stop at the grocery store to make a big dinner for the family today, just to relax your mind and console yourself that everything was alright, that you wouldn't be killed for seeing confidential information. It was just a picture, you thought, yeap just a picture that could possibly be a kill target, fuck did you get involved in a crime? You pinched your arm as you walked out of the office, shaking your head of all the negative thoughts.
The keys jingled as you struggled to slide the key into the lock with two grocery bags in hand, the atmosphere eerily silent as you entered the house, you called out for your mom and dad, followed by a soft “tadaima” only to receive no response in return.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
You laughed as you remember that a few days ago your dad tried to make dinner and ended up breaking your mom's favourite ceramic pot while removing one of the pans. She has been so mad at the time that she took a vow to not cook until your dad got her a similar ceramic pot if not a better one.
You entered the living room to find it completely empty, and chill ran down your spine, where were your mom and dad? You walked toward the fridge and suddenly everything made sense when you saw the small sticky note with a haste scribble that said that your parents had gone out at the last minute for a makeup dinner, decorated with a small smiley in the end.
With a broad smile plastered on your lips you placed both the grocery bags on the counter, humming softly to yourself as you removed the items from within the bags. From the corner of your eye you suddenly notice a shadow cross and your body goes rigid. Your hand slowly inched forward before curling around the handle of a pan nearby when a tingling feeling rises up your spine, signalling someone’s approach.
In the room filled with soft rays of evening light you stand ominously still, breath bated as you tighten your clammy grasp, knuckles turning white, cold beads of sweat running down the side of your face. You backhand swung the pan the moment you see a slight shadow come up behind you, but your actions were stopped midway as you were pushed head first onto the counter, your hand with the pan being banged harshly against the cold surface of the marble, forcing you to let go of the pan. The person behind you used their body weight to keep you pinned to the counter as you trash around, trying your best to get hold of any object you can use to defend yourself.
Just as you get your right hand free from under the person’s weight, you feel a pinch on your shoulder and suddenly your body starts losing its strength, eyelids getting heavier and your vision turning blurry. As a last attempt you tried to scream out for help, but the moment you open your mouth a gloved hand clamps down on your lips and you try to trash around, only for him to lean his weight further on you, knocking the air out of your lungs.
Right before you passed out, you faintly heard a phone buzzing and for a second you wondered if it's yours. You fought to stay awake as the man still kept you pinned against the counter, shuffling behind you before a small beep followed by a smooth soft voice reached your ears.
“ I have her Bokuto-san”
That was the last thing you witnessed before losing control over your senses and everything went dark.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
You woke up to a cold concrete floor, a dull throb sitting in the back of your head as you grunted softly, your vision confiscated by a blindfold. The place where you were injected felt like it was on fire, limbs feeling heavy and…
You tried shifting your arms but all you could hear was the clang of metal against the concrete. You tried moving your feet but they were seized with cuffs which were attached to metal chains rooted firmly into the floor. You pushed yourself up onto your knees, only to be pulled back by the chains hooked on cuffs around your wrists, the rattling sound echoing loudly throughout the room along with a disgruntled sob. You held your breath in fear, hoping that no one was around to hear it. The room fell utterly silent as you tried your best to hear for any footsteps, only to be greeted by a soft hum of jazz, barely thrumming in through the walls.
You wanted to cry, scream, trash around, but there you laid, frozen in fear, trying your best to not make a single sound, making it seem like you were still unconscious. You were just delaying the inevitable, buying as much time as you could; you didn't have a single clue as to  what you had done to be in such a situation, if it was about the loan, weren't you already paying it off by working? Or did they get tired of waiting?
But hadn’t you walked the perfect line with your job? you didn't have a single complaint from your superiors and your colleagues commended you on it, because it seems that they weren't compatible with just anyone and most of them didn't survive beyond the second week. So why were you here then? Was it the–
Your thoughts were cut short as you heard keys chime on the other side of the door and you froze in your spot, trying your best to pretend that you weren’t awake just a moment ago, tugging on your restraints.
You slowed down your breathing, evening it out just as the door opens, its hinges creaking loudly as you hear a chorus of footsteps pad through the room. But your little act of being asleep was immediately cut short as a bucket of ice cold water was thrown over your body making you jolt upright in shock, gasping and shuddering at the sudden overwhelming sensation.
“Looks like the little kitten is awake now! Let’s get this over with, shall we?” A deep voice boomed throughout the room, and you cower back a little, chains clanking along with you.
“Akaashi, remove  her restraints but keep the cuffs on her hands.” The same authoritative voice commands and soon you feel a presence behind you, undoing your chains.
Your shivering body only trembled more as you felt fingers graze your calves and back, your now damp blindfold only serving to rile on your fears. You didn’t shift from your position when you felt the weight drop from your hands and legs, too scared to do anything. Your mind ran a million miles per minute, barging through your brain with various emotions and thoughts, but yet you feel blank as a chair scrapes loudly against the floor, placed in front of you.
A hand hooks under your arm, pulling you to sit upright and a whimper leaves your lips in fright. You wanted to plead– heck even beg for mercy, cry a litany of apologies and offer anything up in exchange for your life, but your lips didn’t move a single inch, even though you were practically screaming from within. You choke on the silence that suffocates the room before a gentle finger traced the back of your neck and you suppressed the urge to shudder at the feeling, soon finding your blindfold falling to the floor. You squinted, trying to move away from the sudden bright light before coming face to face with the last face you expected to see, the supposed kill target, his golden orbs more brighter and fierce than you remembered, excitement dancing along his lashes.
“And what do we have here?” He leaned forward as he rested his elbows on his knees, his palms joined in front of him and a cunning smile plastered on his face. His eyes raked your form before looking at the man behind you, nodding at him before you heard the softest “Yes Bokuto-san” flow past you and your eyes widen when realise where you heard it before; you recollect to the voice you barely managed to hear before you were rendered unconscious and painful tears started to collect in the corner of your eyes as you tried to swallow the lump on your throat.
The guy now known as Akaashi brought something to the guy in front of you before going back to his earlier position behind you. Faint light glinted against the object and when you realised what it was, tears flowed down freely your cheeks as soft hiccups wrecked through your body.
“Aww honey, don’t be scared. All you need to do is answer all our questions truthfully and I won’t have to use this. Whaddya say hmm?” Bokuto cooed as he slid the gun against your cheek, before placing the barrel under your cheek and tipping your head upwards. Afraid, you closed your eyes before nodding meekly.
“That’s a good girl. See we won’t be having any problems then.” He says with childish enthusiasm in his voice as if it were just another game for him. Akaashi stood silent, his eyes never leaving your form, watching the way your nipples pebbled under the cool air, your shirt now almost transparent as droplets of water slid down your shivering form. Bokuto feigned a cough and Akaashi flits his gaze to him, immediately registering that Bokuto noticed him staring at you, his signature playful smile getting a little bit wider, a hidden intent written behind that smile.
“It’s time to pat her down, Akaashi.” Bokuto stated before turning to you, “Don’t worry hun, it's just a mandatory procedure.” The moment those words were said you were lifted off the ground and placed onto Bokuto's lap and a sob fell from your lips as you tried to get away from his hold, but that only spurred him on to wrap his hand around your waist firmly.
“Shush now little  kitten, don’t worry, the more you struggle, the harder it will be.” He pulled you closer to his heated body, your back hitting his chiseled chest as you straddled him, making your pencil skirt bunch up, your cuffed hands uncomfortable as they get smushed at an odd angle between your back and his chest. You try to move forward because the burn was too much, but the hand on your waist only tightened, keeping you put, your legs kept secure behind his ankles.
“So tell me kitten what’s your name hmm??” He asked you while Akaashi kneeled down in front of you and started patting down your shoulders before his fingers found your buttons, relieving them from its reserves with ease; you looked down at Akaashi with unbelieving eyes, Bokuto’s question falling on deaf ears and that was your biggest mistake. His hand on your waist slid up to roughly grab one of your tits, pinching the nipple harshly and making you cry out in pure agony.
“I asked you something pet, I don’t like to repeat myself twice. Geddit? Now I'm going to ask you once more and that will be your last time. You hear me?” His voice was viciously low and threatening. You only nodded back in response, the sting still fresh on your skin. “ Use your words kitten” He commanded, and you choked out a broken “Y-yes.”
“Good girl. Now tell me what your name is, hmm?”
“ It’s Y-Y/n,” you managed to stutter out, chest heaving.
“That's a lovely name for a kitten! Well now, what is a pretty little thing like you doing in the Nekoma estate, hmm? What is your relationship with Kuroo and Kenma? Are you their fucktoy? Wouldn’t doubt if you were, you seem quite fun to play with” he whispered the last part as he grabbed your face, turning your head away from him. He brushed his nose against your neck, taking in your scent as hot puffs of air collided against your skin.
“I’m j-just a secretary, I have a debt to clear with them, t-that’s all. I’m not their- their- '' heat rushes to your cheeks as embarrassment and anger flowed through you as it dawned upon you what he really meant and you tried to pull away from Bokuto. “I don’t do anything of that sort! I don’t have that kind of relationship with them. I just arrange meetings and appointments, and other basic stuff, that’s it! Now let me go!” You spit the words out, anger boiling through your veins, but it soon turned ice cold with the next question, and you realise you fucked up… Big time.
“ Then you must know about the upcoming business meetings of Nekoma, right? That means you would know the location of Kuroo and Kenma? ” And the room once again went silent. In your fit of anger and defiance you didn’t even realise that Akaashi had slid your shirt up over your shoulders, sliding them down up to your cuff covered wrists  and was now drawing your skirt down. You tried to wiggle your hips to hinder his movements but it only serves to his advantage as it slides down easier.
“Please l-let me go, I-I don’t know anything please!” You begged, voice turning desperate, you couldn’t give out information about the Nekoma clan or they would have your head for it. What about your family–
“You’re a smart little one aren’t you, you know they will hunt you down if you give me their information. But if you decide to tell me, I give you my word that no harm will come to you or your family, furthermore your debt will be repaid. And if you don’t, I could put a bullet through your head right now.” Bokuto said with a playful lift to his voice, bringing the gun up to your temple.
“ I really don’t remember! Please, I can’t recall w-with who it was.. Please don’t shoot!!” You sobbed out, mind going blank when the gun is placed to your temple, fear overwhelming your senses.
“Aw it was good knowing ya kitten, you would’ve made such a good pet.” He cocks the gun with a loud click finger at ease on the trigger while he places soft kisses on your neck, softly whispering against your skin, “ Sayonara–”
“KARASUNO!!” You screamed out the first thing you remembered right before he could pull the trigger. “It’s Karasuno, sometime in the middle of next week, in the Miyagi Prefecture.. That’s about all I know. Please, please let me go now, I’m begging you!!!”
He chuckled darkly right next to your ear and goosebumps rose all over your skin with adrenaline. You closed your tear filled eyes, sobs shaking through you. You wanted this to be a nightmare, a dream from which you would wake up any moment, but the cuffs digging into your wrists and warm hands searing into your skin said otherwise.
“Mmm you definitely deserve a reward for that, don’t you?” He licks a long stripe from the base of your neck to your ear before whispering those words. You shake your head violently, not wanting to spend another waking minute here but he completely ignores your signs of protest. Bokuto’s hand travels down your body till his hand reached your panties to cup your pussy, groaning when he hears a small whimper leave your lips at the contact. He tugged on your panties, a hiss leaving his lips when he noticed how sensitive your body was.
“Such a pretty kitten, Akaashi, why don't you reward her for me, yeah?” Bokuto said as he shifted your panties to the side, dipping his fingers into your folds before prying them apart, giving Akaashi a good view of your cunt. Akaashi took his lower lip between his teeth before swiping his tongue across it as he indulged himself with the sight of your glistening pussy.
“Go on ‘Kaashi, don’t you want a taste?” Bokuto questioned, his fingers circling your clit, before travelling to your entrance, he dipping two fingers inside before removing them and spreading them, your juices smeared all over them and he popped his fingers to his mouth, a low growl arising from his chest made you bite on your lip harshly. “Of course I do Bokuto-san.” And that was all Akaashi said before he hooked your legs over his shoulder and dived into your pussy, flattening his tongue against your entrance before dragging it upwards towards your clit, rubbing his tongue against it before sucking on it.
You moaned loudly as Akaashi kept slurping up the juices dripping from your hole, making sure to not let a single drop go by, while Bokuto unhooked your bra, sliding them up so he could see your perky little nipples just begging for attention. He uncocks the gun and hooks it on his waistband, after which his hands find purchase of your soft mounds, pressing each nipple inside with his forefinger before pinching them and rolling them between his fingers. He gave your nipples a few rough tugs just to hear your sweet voice more.
You’re too overwhelmed to do anything but mewl as Akaashi detached himself from your pussy, fingers tugging down your panties and pocketing the soaked fabric. He used his thumb to rub your nub while his tongue prods your entrance and you gasp, taking a shaky breath in. When he rubbed a certain spot at the entrance you threw your head back and Bokuto immediately wrapped his fingers around your throat, his grip firm as his lips hastily crashed onto yours, drinking in all your moans and whimpers. He continued to kiss you, your moaning making it easy to plunge his tongue into your mouth, the kiss so heated that it brought you right on the edge of tipping over.
Your legs shook uncontrollably, being just one flick away from falling over the edge when Akaashi pulled back and you breathed heavily, not wanting to show them that this affected you much, while you mourned the loss of such a sweet release. His face is smeared with your juices and he licks his lips as he uses the back of his sleeve to wipe off the excess. The corner of his mouth lifted as he looked at Bokuto and nodded at him as you whined at your stolen high. Bokuto broke the kiss and smiled at Akaashi wide enough to have the tops of his incisors seen, the feral intent in his eyes reminding you of the dangerous position you were in.
Your eyes widened when Akaashi abruptly stood up and slid his hands under your butt, fingers digging into the flesh of your ass as he picked you up from Bokuto’s lap and you yelped. Akaashi’s eyes were fixated on you the entire time you were in his arms, his eyes shifting from your eyes to your lips continuously while you squirm.
“P-please no, I-I don’t want to go any further please” you told Akaashi, eyes big and pleading, filled with fresh tears.
“It’s okay Doll, don’t worry, we won’t hurt you until you disobey. So be a good little pet for us alright?” He whispered  against your ear as he placed you down on your wobbly legs with your back against the mahogany table behind. He cupped your face gently, thumb swiping across your trembling lips as he looked at you with pure adoration. If it were any other situation you might’ve even considered going out with this beautiful man; but here you were, held against your will, your body being used as per their whims and wishes and you couldn’t do a single thing about it, it made your stomach twist with hate and disgust knowing how weak you were.
Akaashi leaned in, softly pressing his lips against yours into the most sweetest and gentle kiss you’ve ever had. You were so lost in it that your mouth unconsciously granted him access when he licked your bottom lip, you immediately tasted yourself on his tongue. The way he explored your mouth made you moan, your pussy clenching over a single kiss, only coming to your senses when his fingers fiddled with the straps of your bra, unclasping them and you bit his lip in defiance when he pulled your bra off your body, the taste of iron now pooling on your tongue.
Akaashi pulled back when you bite his lip, raising an amused eyebrow at you. He couldn’t believe that you still had thought that you could say no to them, it was cute to him; luckily it wasn’t Bokuto-san or she would've gotten a punishment by now– Akaashi thought as blood dripped from his lip onto his chin.
“This kitten is still using her claws I see, quite feisty~” Bokuto chimed as he came behind Akaashi, watching the entire scene from the corner. You looked at both of them in shock when Bokuto turned Akaashi’s head and pulled him into a kiss, licking up the blood that was on his lips and groaning when he still tasted the remnants of your sweet juices on Akaashi’s tongue. Bokuto broke the kiss, his lips sliding down to Akaashi’s neck and chuckling against his skin as he remembers the day Akaashi first saw you.
Akaashi was so mesmerised by you, couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful you were and how he wanted you so badly. Akaashi mentioned you so many times that it had started to get on his nerves, sometimes he even moaned out your name when he was asleep. Bokuto finally snapped when Akaashi choked out your name as he came all over Bokuto’s hands pumping his shaft. And when Akaashi found out that you worked for Nekoma it was the perfect excuse he needed to bring you in and play with you, see what was so special about you. Akaashi insisted on getting you personally, not wanting anyone else to get their hands on you; he was possessive like that– Bokuto was brought out of his fazed stupor with your cute little mewls filling the room.
Akaashi had started marking up your neck, slurping bruises on your skin while his fingers played with your nipples.
“Kitten, why don't you put on a little show for us? Play with that pretty little cunt of yours, show us how you like it and maybe I’ll think about letting you go?” Bokuto said as his fingers rub circles on your hips soothingly. The prospect of getting out of here had you ready to do anything and you eagerly nod your head at the offer, maybe once they freed your hands you could try to escape too. But Bokuto seemed to know what you're thinking, because he turned you around and shoved your head onto the table, your toes barely grazing the floor as you struggled under the weight of his body on yours. He removes the gun from his waistband and places it on your neck.
“Don’t even think about doing anything funny, cause there won’t be a second chance~” He singed as his hips grinded into yours, his erection pressed against your ass and you gasped as you felt how big he was even through his pants. He lifted himself off you once you yelp out a “Yes” he slowly slid the gun down your back, smacking the barrel against your ass before going lower and rubbing the cool metal against your folds. You dug your nails into your palm to ground yourself as he continued to rub against your clit, teasing the little nub till the barrel was covered in your juices.
“Get on the table kitten, I want a perfect view of your pussy.” Bokuto stopped his ministrations as you struggle to get on the table, when you took too much time for his liking he shoved your other leg on top and smacked your ass, making you scream out, he rubbed his fingers over the red print that is visible as he growled out a ‘hurry up’. Akaashi on the other hand started uncuffing your hands, sliding the shirt that was stuck above your wrist along with your cuffs.
You were already on the verge of cumming earlier, so doing that once again wouldn’t take that long. You reached down your trembling fingers and started slowly circling your clit, you moaned as you started going faster, rubbing yourself just the way you had done dozens of times before.
“Don’t be shy, Doll. Stuff a few fingers up that sweet hole” Akaashi said as he unzips his pants, pumping his cock in his hand at the lewd sight of you playing with yourself. He had imagined you like this whenever he stroked his cock alone, but he didn’t know it would be so fucking hot.
“You heard him, use those fingers to stuff your hole, kitten.” Bokuto chimed in with Akaashi. You reached down further and slowly start to slide two fingers in and out of your pussy, moaning as you started feeling good, the base of your palm bumping against your clit. You started going faster, feeling yourself reach your high once again, your moans turned higher and higher in pitch. You were just about ot cum when Bokuto slaped your hand away from yourself, making you whine loudly when you were denied another high. It was starting to feel like torture, your thoughts were getting fuzzy and all you could think was how badly you wanted to cum.
“Doll if you wanna cum then you just gotta ask” Akaashi said softly as he rubs his fingers over your sensitive folds, making you buck into his hand. You almost didn’t care about anything anymore, the only thing on your mind was the need to cum, but there was a little shard of dignity that was left in you and it made you bite your tongue. Your anger and frustration of not getting to cum makes you a little bold.
“F-fuck y-you” you panted out with as much venom in your words as you could muster. Bokuto shook his head as a chuckle wrecked through his chest once again. You were certainly a fun thing to tease and play with, the way you refused to give up only served to pique his interest further. “Oh I certainly plan to kitten, I’m going fuck this pretty little cunt all night. Make you a pliant mess on my cock”
You heard the clink of a buckle being opened, noticing the gun placed on the table not too far from your reach and with your hands free, you tried to push yourself off the surface only to be held down by your neck. “Oh no you don’t Doll, I’ve waited an eternity to feel those lips on me” Akaashi remarked as he unbuttoned his pants with his free hand and slid down the zipper. “Now pull my cock out, pretty girl.” He slowly released the pressure on your neck, Bokuto smacked your ass when you didn't comply, his heavy hand stinging enough to have you immediately reach out, tugging on the waistband of the his pants.
Akaashi bit his lips as your fingers touched his cock, his  hard member twitching at the contact. Not being able to control himself any further, Akaashi swooped down and pulled you in for a kiss while simultaneously Bokuto aligned his tip with your entrance. Akaashi pulled back, standing straight so that his cock was mere inches from your face. He removed his shirt before he gathered your hair in his hand and pulled you towards his member. You shook your head no, using one to keep you up while the other pushed on his waist.
But your attempts were futile as Bokuto slammed himself into you with one swift movement, making you scream at the stretch and Akaashi used that as an opportunity to shove his cock into your mouth, groaning when you gagged and sputtered on his length, still attempting to cry out. The sounds from your warm mouth made him shudder in pleasure.
Bokuto starrted slamming into you immediately, fucking into you with feral intensity and using you as his personal pocket pussy, each thrust pushed your mouth further on Akaashi’s cock.
“Nghh you're so fucking tight kitten, squeezing my dick so fucking good” Bokuto grunted out before placing both his hands on your hips, his fingers holding you tight enough to leave dark bruises and he used that at leverage to fuck into you faster, His fat cock stirring up your insides and hitting spots deep inside you that you didn't know you had, making you moan continuously on Akaashi's cock. Said man slowly started to buck his hips into your mouth, falling into a rhythm with Bokuto, once in a while pushing his cock deep enough that the tip hit the back of your throat.
The room echoed with muffled moans and low growls, squelching sounds filling the room. Both men fastened their pace, pulling and pushing back and forth, singing praises and defiling your body at the same time.
“Oh fuck d-Doll haa.. your mouth feels so good, I'm gonna cum, I'm gonna cum!! And I want you to drink every drop of it” Akaashi keened as he kept moving his hips, he wrapped his hand around your throat, squeezing firmly till he felt the outline of his cock making you lightheaded. Akaashi watched as you rolled your watery eyes back in pleasure, choking and gagging on his cock, feeling his cock on your throat was the last strand and it pushed him off the edge and he gave a deep thrust cumming directly inside your throat, fingers still clutching your neck. He pulled out halfway, so that his cum spilled all over your tongue; shudders wrecked through his body as his thighs flexed till it burned, he pinched your nose as pulled out of you and clamped his other hand over your mouth so you had no other choice but to swallow, and once done he pulled you up as he climbed on the table as well.
You hung on Akaashi, hands hooked around his shoulders as Bokuto still kept pummelling into you, thighs slapping loudly against your ass. Akaashi kept kissing you, not leaving your body alone even for a second, biting and sucking on your lips or roaming along the length of your neck. His hands roamed all over your body before sliding between your folds, lithe fingers barely grazing your nub before forming a 'V' where Bokuto's cock enters you, spreading your folds. Your thighs trembled uncontrollably, body shivering, you would be laying flat against wood, had it not been for Akaashi holding you up, one hand wrapped around your waist.
Your mind was going crazy, you were so close to cumming but you just needed that little push, that little rub and nudge on your clit. The fact that Akaashi's fingers kept lightly brushing against it didn't help any further, you wanted to just cum, a dam waiting to be broken and you couldn't take it anymore.
“Please, please mmnnn j-just let me cum!!" You cried out, transgressing in the moment of pleasure.
“All you had to do was ask Doll” Akaashi murmured against your skin as his fingers slid up to your clit, rubbing refined, delicate circles around your sensitive nub and that was the final push that made you cum all around Bokuto's cock, pussy fluttering around his shaft, squeezing him tightly as an orgasm wrecked through you, compelling your body into a convulsing mess as a prayer of moans leave your lips, your toes curling till your feet hurt.
Your pussy clenched tightly around his shaft triggered Bokuto’s orgasm as well, his hips slowing their pace as he pumped deep strokes into your hole. And with a loud shivering groan against your ear, your pussy was filled with hot spurts of cum as he leaned his weight slightly on your limp body, his skin hot and sweaty against your own.
He placed a soft kiss on your back before pulling out of you, walking away to get something. During the time he’s gone Akaashi gently stroked your hair, while holding you in his warm embrace until Bokuto returned with something in his hand. Bokuto reached out and clicked it into place with alige fingers before smiling devilishly. You looked down, weak hand unconsciously reaching up to touch the item and you gasped, realizing it's a collar, and yanked on it to try and remove it. Hastily you reached behind hoping to find a buckle to release it, but instead you found a lock and turned towards Bokuto.
“D-didn’t you s-say you were going to let me go?” You asked, voice trembling with trepidation. While you were looking away Akaashi linked a leash to your collar, wrapped the excess length around his knuckles and handed it over to Bokuto. He yanked on your collar as he did so, forcefully bringing you closer as he offered Bokuto your leash with a heated kiss before Bokuto pulled away to look at you with a sickeningly sweet smile.
“Oh I said I’ll think about it, and I think I’m not done with you just yet kitten~”

Pretty little lie | S. Todoroki X Reader
Tumblr media
“[Name]-san, it is a pleasure to meet you.”
Currently, [Name] was not happy. Why?
Her parents had only gone and made an arranged marriage for her! To some goddamn celery stick of a guy!
Her blood boiled just remembering how she found out.
-
On the balcony of a large bedroom, several potted plants waved idly in the breeze, echoing [Name] ‘s feelings.
Everything was peaceful, and every now and again she would activate her quirk to shoot some life into one of the plants and smile as it lifted a leaf to her, almost akin to a cat’s paw.
Then she was called into the main dining room. Not a good sign to start with, but what was coming next was much much worse.
“[Name], you’re here.” Her mother droned, not particularly caring as usual.
Her father did his best to act interested, and motioned for her to sit on a cushion. “Now, you’ve turned 18 recently and we have gone ahead and made a decision.”
[Name] sighed. “What, am I working as a botanist like I’ve wanted to for years?”
Her father scowled. “Enough of that cheek, young lady. You are getting married, as a matter of fact.”
The girl choked on her words and spluttered into panic.
“I- you- what the fuck?!” “[Name]! Language!” “Sorry, but what the hell?! You can’t just marry me off to some random guy! This is a joke, tell me it’s a joke!”
Her mother sipped her drink and rolled her eyes.
“Grow up. The young man is part of a wealthy family and has a strong quirk. You should consider yourself lucky.”
[Name] stood up, slamming her drink on the table.
“I already have a partner. And I don’t want to get married until I know I’m ready. I’m not going through with it.”
“Don’t be difficult. It’s already arranged. His name is Todoroki Shouto, and you are due to meet him next week, so I’d get those manners in check, miss.”
[Name] simply glared at them both and left the room, collapsing into her own bed after storming away.
Fumbling with her phone, she searched through her contacts before clicking on one of them.
“Hey fuzzy, you been too obsessed with those plants to talk to me?”
[Name] smiled weakly at the nickname, and sighed. “No... I’m afraid I’ve got bad news.”
“[Name] have you been crying? What’s going on?” “My parents.... have arranged a marriage for me. Crazy, right?”
She heard a yelp from the other end and frantic noises. “Wha- no! They can’t! Are they crazy?! You have a life! [Name] tell me you’re not going through with it?!”
She chuckled dryly.
“I wish it were that simple. I’m meeting the guy next week. I’m sorry sugar, I’ll try to figure something out but who knows when I’ll be able to talk to you again? I’m so sorry...”
“No, no, I’m sorry for getting mad. I’ll get you out of there somehow, even if it takes a year. You’ll be with me finally and there’ll be no forced feelings. Oh fuzzy, baby, darling, we’ll manage.”
-
They were not, in fact, managing as [Name] was currently face to face with her fiancé and his scary-looking father.
Now, [Name] had to admit he was decently good-looking, but nowhere near as perfect as her current partner, and he looked so dead inside. Like he would rather be anywhere else.
‘Feeling’s mutual buddy.’
“[Name]-san, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” The towering man gave a small bow and motioned for [Name]’s parents to follow him.
“Now, we’ll be leaving you two here to get to know each other better. Goodbye, Shouto, [Name]-san.”
The tall redhead man accompanied [Name]’s own parents out of the room, and soon it was just [Name] and uh... Todoroki? She barely remembered his name. Great start.
[Name] sighed and immediately flopped on one of the cushions, pulling out her phone and setting down her bags so that she could talk to her significant other.
“I’m just saying, I hate this, you probably hate this, don’t you have better things you could be doing?” She asked, scrolling through her contacts.
“Not particularly.” Wow, dead conversation much?
“Ri-i-ight. Well then, I guess I’m off.”
He gave her a hint of a confused look and [Name] pointed to her phone. “I have a partner. I don’t wanna marry you, no offense so I’m just going to go outside and call them. Then I’m gonna find my parents, and-”
“-They didn’t tell you?” He interrupted.
“Heh?”
He frowned even more if that were possible. “You’re staying here. With me. Our parents decided it would be best, and they are all at your residence.”
[Name]’s phone clattered to the floor as she stood there, frozen.
“W-what?!”
“If you sit down, I can explain if you’d like.” He offered, though it sounded like a command more than anything.
“No, no, I thought my parents were assholes before, but--” She rambled, sitting down dejectedly on the cushion.
“Oh.” [Name] sighed. “What now?”
“Your phone, it’s...”
[Name] snatched her phone and gave an exasperated sigh. “Fuck. Can this get any better?”
She looked down at the phone, completely shattered from being dropped onto traditional wooden floors.
“Now how the hell am I supposed to contact anyone..? I don’t remember numbers...” She slumped forwards, pushing the phone to one side.
Todoroki’s eyes trailed over the forlorn girl, and he smiled a bit.
“We’ll get you a new one.” “You realise I can’t talk to my partner now? Oh my god just... just.... ugh, I don’t know!”
“You seem tense. We have a lovely garden if you’d like to calm down.” Thinking quickly, [Name] sighed and nodded.
“Sure, I guess. Thanks.”
-
It was a lovely garden, [Name] supposed, and as she stared at the Koi fish her mind calculated a plan.
“It is nice out here, I’ll admit...” She stood up, stretching a bit. Todoroki’s affection for the girl was growing every moment, so he was glad to hear it.
“Hey, what are those plants there?” She pointed to the flowers near the door.
“Hm? Oh, they’re an imported variant of rose. My mother was fond of them.” “I’ll bet, they’re really pretty.”
“Hey, [Name]-chan c’mere a second.” She turned and trotted closer to him, so close to being able to achieve her plan.
Wordlessly, he plucked a flower and brought it up to [Name]’s hair, intertwining it with the locks so that it framed her face.
“There. It suits you.” He smiled warmly, thankful that his mother had chosen  [Name] for him.
“Thanks...” [Name] forced a warm smile. “You know, Todoroki-kun...” She leant in a little closer, a small smile across her lips.
“Hm?” “Everything here is so nice, are you sure it’s okay for me to just... be here?” “Of course. Why wouldn’t it be?”
“I don’t know. Just thinking out loud. I’m sorry for being annoyed at you earlier, I was certain this would be another awful idea by my parents.” “You have nothing to be sorry for.”
“Thanks. Should we go inside? I want to see where I’ll be staying.” “Of course.”
-
“Wow. This sure is fancy.” “Mm, if you didn’t like it you could have picked another room, or even shared mine, but it seems you like this one?” “Yeah, it’s really nice. Hey would you do me a favour?”
“Do you want me to fetch your bags?” “Please?” [Name] batted her eyelashes and smiled as much as she could without vomiting.
“I’ll be back in a moment.”
-
For the rest of the evening, [Name] was not allowed to leave Todoroki’s side. It was torturous, the way he looked at her with such fondness seeing nothing wrong with the situation.
In the evening, [Name] feigned tiredness and requested to be left alone to sleep. In reality she was plotting her escape. “I’ll see you in the morning, Todoroki-kun. G’night.” “Are you sure you don’t need anything else?” “Positive, now quit fussing. Good night.”
The moment he left the room, [Name] ran over to the window and opened it quietly, looking over to a nearby tree.
“Here, let me get out of this house.” She whispered, and the branched curled over to her. Hopping on, she sank down to the ground and began running.
Meanwhile, Todoroki had headed to his own room, when he saw one of [Name]’s bags on his floor.
He walked back over to her room and knocked, and walked in when he heard no answer.
“[Name]-chan you left this --  [Name]?!” He dropped the bags and sprinted to the window, where he saw [Name]‘s receding figure.
“[Name]!!” He yelled, and for a moment she stopped and turned.
“Sorry honey, but I’ve got a partner! I don’t want any part in this!”
She had barely ran another few feet when the ground underneath her was covered in ice, and she stumbled forwards.
Todoroki was upon her before she could even yell, yanking her up by the arm, a furious scowl on his face.
“What the hell are you doing? I thought... I thought you were happy with this arrangement?” “Obviously not! Let go of me!”
She struggled, but though the ice had now dissapeared she could not remove herself from his grip.
“This is happening- you cannot stop us from being together. Not after everything we went through to get you here.” He hissed as he dragged her back to the house.
“You’re staying. It’s not your decision to make, darling. I’ll make sure of that.”

night picnic date !
you both sat in a good spot and enjoy your time together, looking up at the sky and pinpoint clouds that shaped like objects
you brought shoyu ramen which daichi enjoyed so much he emptied the bowl instantly. and also munch on strawberry shortcakes:)
you both stayed until night falls and the new years were counting down
you gazed at the stars above, unaware that daichi was patiently waiting for you to look at him.
“there’s so much stars today.” your eyes never leaving the dark-blue sky. you attempt to count every star you observed but it was just to impossible.
“hey daichi, what do you think of-” you stopped your tracks when your eyes met up with your boyfriend. he sat cross-legged comfortably, his hands tucked in his hoodie pocket. he gave you an innocent smile, taking out one of his hands from his pocket to pat your head.
he loves you so much, so so much. to him, it was a blessing to bump into you down the hallways when you both first arrived in karasuno. the moment your eyes lock, it was like an electric current just waved past him. he instantly fell in love. and here you are now, stargazing the night before new years. he wants to keep you. he wants you all for himself, and no one can ever call dibs on you.
his other hand pulled out from his pocket, holding onto a small black box. carefully, he opened it, revealing a couple ring. he took a moment to recollect his thoughts, before taking out one of them and slipping it in on your left ring finger. he slipped in his then looking up at you.
“i got us promise rings, to promise that we’ll always be there for each other.” he smiled, kissing the ring that was nicely fitted on your finger. you couldn’t help but blush so hard before throwing yourself onto daichi, hugging him tight as you let out tears of joy.
“daichi !!! you’re so cute !!” you couldn’t help but be honest. he laughs, hugging you tight and placing small kisses on your cheek.
“another new year with you, my love.”

𝕜𝕦𝕣𝕠𝕠 𝕥𝕖𝕥𝕤𝕦𝕣𝕠𝕦
boy was feeling a little fancy tonight.
he threw a nice red silk dress at you, telling you to get dresses and get ready for a dine in the restaurant you’ve always wanted to visit
he was smart to get you a dress that nicely wraps around your body, showing off your curves with your shoulders bare.
he wore a nice (and smexy) tuxedo with his top two buttons unbuttoned
you pleaded him to buttoned them but he gave an excuse that it was only fair since you had your shoulders exposed and your boobs elevated.
you both arrived at the restaurant and had a great meal, before having multiple glasses of wine.
every second, he just stop his actions and admire you, how lucky he is to have you and you only.
“my goodness, that was a really good meal.” you sighed after emptying your plate. the waiter came by soon to discard your empty dishes, before returning with two glasses and a wine bottle. the waiter politely pour both glasses, placing the wine bottle on the table and bowing down then leaving.
“you didn’t say we’re having wine tonight.” you glared at your boyfriend but also slyly picking up your glass and taking a sip. he only sat back at his seat, his hand resting on the hand rest while his other supporting his tilted head. kuroo chose the best seat out of all the seats in the restaurant. right by the glass window, where there is a clear view of the new years count down.
slowly you watch the numbers go down. your eyes never leaving the timer and kuroo’s never leaving your side view. he admired the sight of the beauty sitting right across him. the necklace he gave you for your birthday, the earrings he got in a carnival game, your lips tinted in red, the silk dress that was draped over your shoulders. it felt like a sin he could observe all these for free. he adjusted himself in his seat, laying back slightly with his hand supporting his chin, still admiring you.
your eyes continue to stare at the timer. five...four...three...two...one. fireworks were lit up and the dark sky was now filled with fireworks of colours. your smile widened as you hear the clink of wine glasses from other tables. you turned back to kuroo, who happen to be holding his wine glass already.
“happy new years, kitten. cheers, to another year with you stubbornness.” giggling, you raised your glass and lightly tap over his, both of you taking a sip. kuroo stared deeply into your eyes, the lights of the fireworks reflecting at your side.
he sighed, removing the napkin that was placed on his lap onto the table.
“shall we go ? don’t wanna spend the night of the new years without having some fun, huh?” he grabbed your hand and walked you out the restaurant, thanking the waiters for their service on the way.
what a night, you might say~
𝕚𝕨𝕒𝕚𝕫𝕦𝕞𝕚 𝕙𝕒𝕛𝕚𝕞𝕖
unfortunately, you had to cancel your plans on spending new years with your boyfriend because he was busy coaching.
but you couldn’t let this day go to waste without celebrating new years.
that night, you went to his gymnasium and spotted him just finished showering.
immediately, no thoughts, you grabbed his hand dragged him to catch up with the fireworks.
the door swung open and you stomped your way in, checking small room to find your boyfriend. at last, you spotted him drying himself after a shower.
“hajime !” you screamed, making him flinched from your voice echoing through the corners of the room. he turned to see you standing by the door, panting after running down the road to the gym he was coaching people in.
“y/n? what are you doing here?” he stuffed his towel in his duffel bag, zipping it close then hanging it over his shoulder. he made his way to you who was still gasping for air. he circled his hand on your back, instructing you to inhale and exhale slowly. soon after you catch your breathe, you grabbed into his arm, having a really strong grip.
“there’s not much time, hurry !” you pulled him out the room, running once again. he couldn’t stop you, only yelling at the back telling you to slow down as you continue to run up the stairs. lucky enough iwaizumi is an athlete trainer, his daily morning runs with you really boost your speed so despite you constantly gasping for air, your legs just won’t stop running.
iwaizumi’s wiggled his wrist out of your grip and adjusted so that the both of you are holding hands now. he continued to run, following behind you, his other hand holding onto the sling of his bag that was dropping from time to time. after the last flight of stairs, you both arrived at the top of the mountains. iwaizumi dropped his bag to the ground, his hands on his knees as he coughed over his dried throat. you stretched you back, groaning in pain after running without having to stop halfway at all.
“what was that for ?!” iwaizumi placed his hands on his sides now, sweat dripping down the sides of his face. just as you were about to explain, a loud explosion was heard and lights started to flicker up in the sky. you both looked up to see the fireworks, colour after colour overlapping each other.
“we made it !!” you threw your hands up in the air, laughing in joy as you clapped your hands. you rushed to the railing, leaning over slightly to get a better view of the fireworks. iwaizumi was stunned. because of his sudden cancelation of your new years date, you decided to drag him all the way up here to be able to at least see the fireworks.
“hajime, hurry up and get here ! they look amazing !” your hands gestured him to come over, which he did. he leaned over the railing like you did, watching the fireworks go off. he turned to you, admiring your happy expression and your smile. he can’t believe you did all that effort to run from home, to his work place then up the mountains to see the fireworks. he pulled you in for a hug, caressing your hair as you both sway side to side.
“happy new years, babe.” he whispered to your ear. god, you’re really an angel.
𝕒𝕜𝕒𝕒𝕤𝕙𝕚 𝕜𝕖𝕚𝕛𝕚
being friends ever since highschool, you both hung out almost every day
no matter how hard you tried though, you could never
e v e r
get over the fact you have a crush on him
you felt like your feelings will never be returned, so you never dared to let him know
but this year was the year. the year he had been wishing for.
“keiji-kun !” you whispered to his ear. he turned around only to smile when he saw you bending over to his level. he assured you to your seat, which you tiptoes your way before dragging the chair silently.
you both thought to spend the new years this time in your favourite place, the library. normally, new years were spent in cafes on book stores, but the cafes has been pretty crowded recently and the local book stores were closed for the day. you both decided to then spend the night in the library, reading through books taken from the shelf of from home.
“are you cold?” akaashi asked politely, handing over his coat since you both were seated right underneath the air-conditioner. you thanked him then slipping it on, mindlessly inhaling his scent that was sprayed on the material. you both silently read your books, the sound of pages flipping through time to time.
hours pass by as you both were still engrossed over your books. you took a short glance towards akaashi, the sight of him just making you fall for him all over again. his messy hair, his glasses slipping off the bridge of his nose and his small frown as he was reading through the words of his book. every time this happens, you just wish he’d knew how much you meant to him. how much you adore him. how much you love him.
your train of thoughts was suddenly cut off when you heard akaashi whispering you name. you turned to look at him, flinching slightly by how close his face was to yours.
“y/n-san, let me know when 12am strikes.” was all akaashi said before resuming back to his book. your heart was pounding, it could probably be heard from out. you pulled your phone out your pocket to check the time.
11:45pm, 31st december 2020.
you set your phone down on the table, screen facing down. you cleared your throat quietly before reading your book, but all you could think about is what’s going to happen when the clock ticks down to 1st of january 2021. despite your book open, your eyes was glued to your phone case, tempted to pick it up and check the time. after a while, you went back to your phone.
11:59pm, 31st december 2020.
just a few more seconds...just a few more-
12:00am, 1st janurary 2021
“keiji, it’s 12-”
“y/n-san, i’m in love with you.” you froze. you could feel the chill running down your spine. is this for real ? did he really meant that ? you clutched onto your phone, pulling it closer to your chest.
“i..uh..uhm” you kept stuttering, unable to find the right words. akaashi closed his books and set it on the table, before laying back onto his seat.
“i never really had the courage to let you know earlier. i guess you could say i was too afraid of what you might respond. but now i’m ready to accept any respond you give me. it does not matter if you won’t return your feelings, i just hope we can stay as friends.” he looked everywhere but you. you could tell that he was really anticipated for whether you’ll accept him or not. you tried to speak once more, but the words just won’t come out. your mouth was closed shut. all you could do..is show you really feel physically.
“i guess i’ll take the silent as a n-” you cupped his cheek, pulling him close to you before kissing him. you thank the gods the library was empty so you won’t have an audience observing. you kissed him passionately, your thumbs rubbing his cheeks. akaashi’s hands held your wrist, pushing himself closer to you to deepened the kiss.
after a while, you broke the kiss off, a strand of saliva stretching from both of your lips. akaashi smiled, settling back to his seat while you attempt to fan yourself from all the heat you were feeling after that kiss. your cheeks were slowly painting red.
“it’s uh..kinda getting a little hot up in here.” you tried to cover your red cheeks, only for akaashi to pull your hands down and holding it tight, laying a kiss on the back of your hands.
“happy new year, y/n.” he pecked a kiss on your lips once more, his eyes glistering from the lights on the ceiling.
he was now yours for you to claim dearly <3

osamu had a busy day in his work that he ended pretty late
he thought he could make it in time but just as he was about to leave, more people started to flood in
by midnight he was all done and was cleaning up
you decided to visit him to enjoy your new years in his shop.
he was very happy to see you after a tiring day at work uwu
the door bell rang as the door was swung open. osamu was busy wiping the counter just as he heard it which brought him into a sigh. it was a busy day and despite the door sign stating it’s closed, people still keep pushing in.
“i’m sorry, the shop is clos-” it took him a moment that the person who walked in wasn’t a customer but you, his love of his life. osamu’s tired face soon lit up just as he watches you walk closer to him, holding a paper bag in one of your hands.
“pretty busy night considering it’s the new years, huh?” you asked, setting the bag on the counter. you gave your boyfriend a peck on the cheek before settling down on one of the seats beside you. osamu leaned by the edge of the counter as he watches you look around the store. osamu decided to take a small peek in the bag, noticing there’s two bento boxes inside.
“what are these for?” he asked, taking the seat next to yours. you pull the bag closer to you, taking out the bento boxes and opening them, a strong aroma emitting just as the lid was opened. osamu was already salvating over the sight of the food your brought over, his hands fumbling with his chopsticks.
“dig in.” your words all it takes for osamu to shove chunks of rice into his mouth. he laid back on his seat, huffing out to cool the hot steaming rice he was chewing on. you giggled just watching him chow down on the food you prepared at home, knowing he was working day and night and barely had breaks in between. you took a bite from your own bento, savouring the teriyaki chicken you deep fried.
“i guess this is how we’ll be spending our new years.” you teased, covering your mouth to avoid food spitting out. osamu only looked at you for a split second before munching down of his food, taking sips of water to push his chewed up food down his throat so he can shove in more. you smiled, playing with his hair at the back of his head. you both silently ate your food, having small talks here and there about new recipes osamu is trying out for his shop. all shops outside were closed and lights were out, but osamu’s was still lit up, with just the two of you inside eating.
“hey, teach me how to make onigiris ! i wanna try some !” you pleaded excitedly, scooting a little closer to him. osamu sighed as he began to rub his forehead.
“babe, not today. i just made a crap ton of onigiris i feel sick of it. let me enjoy my food.”

the one after you adopt the child {mando x reader}
summary: you and din finally catch a moment for some bedroom activities after the child goes to sleep (but not in the way you’d think)
warnings - language. yall should know this by now.
anyways, enjoy!! this is just pure fluff
- val xx
Tumblr media
‘I left you for five seconds, Din!’
You couldn’t see the blasted man’s face through that goddamned tin-can he wore but you hoped to the makers above that it was...remorseful. Or at least a little bit guilty because dammit, Din, it’s not that hard to keep an eye on a bright green child. His legs were the size of erasers and the Mandalorian had let him run away. He had one job. One job.
‘He’s more agile than you’d think.’ Din’s modulated voice shot back. He was stood in the middle of the cockpit, arms folded tightly across his chest.
‘You want to talk to me about agility?’ You dropped your arms to your side, flailing them out in frustration. ‘You are a Mandalorian. A trained warrior and you got beaten out by a frog!’
‘Just look downstairs for him, please.’ Din grumbled. ‘I’ll check up here.’
You’d had the little green child for the better part of two weeks. Becoming parents so suddenly had certainly been a steep learning curve; there had been a lot of sleepless nights, a lot of tears and plenty of bickering. Still, you wouldn’t have changed a thing - even if you and Din had been childishly arguing, officially becoming a family had brought you closer than ever.
Turning on your heel, you headed down the ladder and into the hull of the crest. The whole room was pitch black; it was often kept that way so that Din could easily take off his helmet and climb into bed beside you without worry. You knew that you were going to see his face one day; there was sort of an unspoken agreement that you would get married at some point. It made sense - you were practically his whole world.
‘Oh, you little shit.’ You murmured. Having turned on the lights and followed the sounds of little snores, your eyes landed on the Child asleep on your pillow. He was drooling slightly, arms flopped out on either side of him. ‘C’mon, kid.’
You gently picked him up, trying your best not to disturb him as you carried him back up to the cockpit. Din was on his hands and knees on the floor, peering under the dashboard for the creature.
‘Din.’ You whispered, gently nudging him with your foot.
‘Huh?’ He turned around, climbing back to his feet. ‘Oh, you found him, cyar'ika.’
‘He was on my pillow.’ You softly smiled, placing him back in his floating cot. After softly brushing a finger across his tiny cheek, you shut the lid on it. ‘Napping.’
‘Finally.’ Din groaned. ‘I haven’t caught a break in two weeks.’
The last fortnight had been spent jumping from planet to planet, constantly looking over your shoulder for the Imps and bounty hunters. Now you were in deep space, perhaps the furthest out you’d ever been - but that didn’t matter. You were together; you, Din and the kid. That was the most important thing.
‘You know what means.’ You winked, reaching out to grab his hand. ‘We can go down to the bedroom.’
‘And sleep.’
‘So damn hard.’
You had never been so happy to collapse into bed; having spent the whole day entertaining the child with peek-a-boos and dried frogs, you were shattered. Din was tired for different reasons - because of Imps, because of the Guild, because he worried so much about you - but now, he just wanted to hold you. The only time he could truly relax was when you were by his side; when he knew you were safe. Letting the Child into his life had only doubled that worry - after all, he had a family now. A fucking weird one, admittedly, but a family none the less.
After kicking off your boots (and flipping over the drool-covered pillow), you flopped onto the mattress. Din turned out the lights, fumbling to remove his helmet and the remains of his armour. You’d become accustomed to it by that point; used to seeing your own reflection peaking back at you when you had a conversation or diving out the way whenever the sun blindingly bounced off the grooves of his helmet. It made moments like this - when there was no armour, no helmet and just Din - much more special.
You felt a pair of warm arms wrap around your waist and a moment later, you were pulled tightly into Din’s chest. He pressed a kiss to the top of your head, stubble ticking your skin as he buried his head in your shoulder. Sometimes, he just needed a hug.
‘You’re doing good.’ You quietly murmured, hands slowly brushing through his tufty hair. ‘Most people have time to prepare for parenthood - and their houses don’t usually fly. That kid is lucky to have you.’
‘No.’ Din shook his head. ‘He’s lucky to have you - without you, there’d be no me.’
‘I love you.’ You gently placed your hands on either side of his face, bringing it up to place a kiss on his lips. He hummed softly when you did - a sound that could have made you melt.
‘I love you too.’ He replied, forehead pressed to yours. ‘I’m always going to look after you and our family-’
‘- our elite.’
‘Our what now?’
‘Isn’t that Mando’a for family?’ You scrunched your face up.
‘Oh cyar'ika.’ His body shook against yours slightly as he chuckled. ‘It’s aliit.’
‘Man, I gotta brush up on my skills.’ You muttered.
‘It’s sweet that you tried.’ His hands found their way to your waist, pulling you closer towards him.
You’d picked up a few words from Din simply from spending time with him. He especially had a habit of muttering names and phrases in Mando’a whenever you were making love - but those weren’t really appropriate to say out loud outside of the bedroom. It was a hard to learn a second language whilst also running from the Imperials, the Bounty hunters and a considerably long list of other people that he’d managed to piss off.
‘You should sleep.’ He murmured quietly. He could never sleep until he knew that you were safe and sound in his arms, so part of it was a plea for his own, tired sake.
‘Already on my way.’ You snuggled into his side, a content sigh escaping your lips. ‘I love our little el..elite? Fuck. I still can’t say it.’
‘You don’t have to.’ He softly said. ‘I feel it. That’s the most important thing.’

Right but what if in married to the enemy non of them recognize Neil and just think of him as Andrews husband which leads to increasingly comedic Dramatic Irony(TM) scenes like Neil would be stopping by to drop something and some perp is like “hey isn’t that nath-“ *cue Andrew ‘accidentally’ shoving him* like idk I know you’re done with that fic but I just read it and I can’t stop thinking about how funny that would be
bruh
stop bringing things back from the dead yall
(FINALLY some WRITING and not just asks - im so sorry ive been starving you all)
*
“Andrew!” Detective Jeremy Knox bounced on the balls of his feet. “I’m so thrilled to have you here. Kevin Day has spoken...” his smile nearly slipped. “Highly! Of you.”
“Here’s the file,” Andrew grunted, dropping the thick yellow slip onto the detective’s desk. “You need to get rid of them before they settle in. Once they’ve grown roots you’ll never get rid of them till they decide to move again.”
“I know,” Jeremy said, voice slightly hushed. “We’ll bring justice to your Baltimore victims. This won’t be swept under the rug.”
Andrew just stared at the file. He’d worked on that ring for three years now, but they’d upped and vanished. When they’d reappeared in Captain Rhenmann’ s New York precinct, Kevin had booted him up there to get a resolution.
It also, coincidently, was the exact week Neil was due up in New York to finalise his ‘retirement’. Andrew may or may not have arranged for him to be in New York for Neil’s support whilst he finally wriggled out of the Moriyama’s grasp.
Finally, after a decade and a half together, Neil would be free. Baltimore would no longer require a Butcher to instil terror. Neil had worked hard to free their city from Ichirou Moriyama’s grasp, buying both himself and his jurisdiction out of internment.
And once Neil was free, they could finally bring down the Moriyamas. Together.
Andrew wasn’t in a rush. Slow and steady always won the race: he would bring down the criminal empire that had trapped his husband for so long and marred his skin and mind with memories of terror and injustice. And he would enjoy it.
“Would you like to have lunch with us?” Knox gestured to the two women, standing close enough to eavesdrop but pretending they weren’t. They were married, Andrew guessed. It was pretty obvious. “We were just about to head out. There’s a hidden bodega near the the station with pastrami that’s to die for.”
Andrew checked his phone. No messages from Neil, as of yet. He’d text when he was on his way back to the hotel, and there was no use in Andrew hanging around and anxious awaiting his arrival. He’d convince himself that the Moriyamas had finally put a bullet through Neil’s forehead and go rampaging.
“Fine,” he grunted, shoving the phone back into his pocket.
Detective Sunshine just beamed.
*
“Day mentioned you were married,” Alvarez said, swallowing a mouthful of sub. “Who’s the lucky guy?”
Andrew arched his eyebrow, unimpressed. She rolled her eyes.
“You’ve got him as your home screen. It’s not hard to guess. You out at your precinct?” Andrew nodded. “Yeah, so are we.”
“If we didn’t have Captain Rhenmann, I’m sure it’d be a lot more stressful.” Laila added, rubbing her wife’s shoulder. “He speaks very highly of your captain, you know. I think they worked together with the old NYPD commissioner. Kayleigh Day.”
Yes, Kevin’s mother. The one who was murdered twenty years ago. A riveting case. Still unsolved. Neil was pretty sure it was his father who’d been assigned to her removal. Not that Andrew would ever discuss this aloud.
“I heard she was one hell of a woman,” Knox added. “If her son’s anything to go off, I can see why.”
“Stop gushing about Kevin,” Alvarez chided.
“Don’t worry,” Andrew grunted. “Kevin’s undoubtedly worse.”
The three of them laughed. They ate in companionable silence, Knox and Alvarez occasionally jostling each other or gossiping about names Andrew didn’t know. It was nearing 2 o’clock in the afternoon when the detective’s phone buzzed: he leaned over, checked who it was from and immediately scrambled to pick it up.
Knox squinted at the message and shot the three of them an apologetic look. “My bad. I’ve gotta make a call. I’ll meet y’all back at the station?”
He left without an answer, phone raised to his ear.
“He’s a parole officer for a very specific case,” Alvarez explained. Laila was frowning. “A difficult one, at that.”
“Seems a little more involved than a parole officer usually is,” Andrew noted.
“Yes, well,” Laila huffed. “Jeremy likes to care.”
Andrew got a text of his own. Coming back now.
He bid the women goodbye with a salute and bought a sandwich for Neil: he was unlikely to have already fed himself, too stressed and paranoid to bother thinking about food. He always came back from New York weak and underfed.
When Andrew arrived back to their hotel room, Neil was lying on his back, staring at the ceiling. His shirt was untucked and tie loosened, but he hadn’t even bothered to take his shoes off or put away the briefcase of paperwork and knives.
Andrew put the food aside for later and sat by his husband, toeing off his shoes so he could cross his legs on the bed.
When Neil didn’t talk, he leaned over and turned on the television. A random afternoon sitcom filled the room with white noise, bringing Neil out of his glacial stare. Finally, his eyes flit over to Andrew, aware but still hollow.
Andrew reached out to undo Neil’s cuffs but waited for him to deposit his wrist in Andrew’s palm. He got to work, unbuttoning the sleeves, pulling off the tie and throwing the shoes over to the door. The dress shirt was wriggled off, leaving him in just a white undershirt, and draped across the chair to be steam-ironed in the morning. Neil wormed out of his slacks, too, letting Andrew fold them and put them away.
Andrew made him a cup of decaf instant coffee and brought out the sandwich. Neil looked at both of them balefully but sat up anyway, getting through the whole coffee and only half the sandwich.
Andrew waited, sitting behind him. When he was finished he laid back down, putting his head in Andrew’s lap.
“Thank you,” he mumbled.
Andrew just hummed, combing his fingers through Neil’s hair.
*
The end of the week came quickly. Andrew worked the case with Knox and eventually decided that the case would be in good hands. Every evening he’d come back to find Neil just as exhausted and spaced out and hold him together with soft hands and silent reassurance. Neil soldiered on.
Andrew didn’t know what he was negotiating, why it was taking so long or whether or not this would actually work. All he could hope for was that Neil would be a free man by the end of the week and that they could go home without worrying he’d be called back or killed.
Andrew got his answer on Friday evening. He bid the affectionately named ‘Dyke Detectives’ and their captain goodbye, knowing Knox had briefly left the building for an errand and assuming that they’d pass on his thanks.
He exited the front doors of the precinct and nearly stumbled into his husband, standing in jeans and a hoodie with a blinding grin. Andrew never forgot how gorgeous Neil was, but the ease of his posture and the genuine smile had something go soft inside his chest.
He ignored all the beat cops standing around the doors and pressed a kiss to Neil’s smile, which only had him smile more.
“It’s done,” Neil murmured, holding Andrew’s wrist. “I’m free. We’re free.’’
“Took you long enough.”
Neil shrugged. “Had to barter for Allison, too. I know Renee wants to make it official.”
“Only a decade later,” Andrew agreed. Of course Neil hadn’t been fighting tooth and nail for himself: he’d do anything for those he loved.
“Holy shit,” came an unfamiliar voice. They both turned around, spotting a willowing man standing next to Detective Knox. His pale complexion had turned translucent, all the blood draining out of his cheeks. Neil’s eyes flashed with recognition. “Nathaniel—?”
“It’s Neil,” Neil said, still smiling. “Hello, Jean. Good to see you were cleared. Did they find Riko’s actual killer?”
The man did not look any less uncomfortable. “They ruled it a suicide.”
“Ah, shame. Maybe some more evidence will come to light, later.” He offered his hand to Andrew. “Shall we?”
It would be a long drive to Baltimore but at the other end was home, two cats and freedom.
Andrew, older, wiser, calmer, happier, took Neil’s hand.
“We shall.”

okay so i didn’t see anything on your blog ab request rules so I hope this is okay BUT all I’ve been thinking ab is stoner suna... so I was thinking that you could write ab suna x female reader(could be his gf or crush idk) hotboxing his car at 2am and then he rails her in the back seat✨ that’s all I’m asking for, you can add whatever you like. Oh but if weed isn’t something you feel comfortable writing ab then just car sex ???? Again it’s all up to you :) gracias!
Omg finally a Stoner!Suna request, I been WAITIN for this one😈 I hope I did your request justice 🥺
Wc: 1k
Warnings: Weed (duh)
The streetlights that littered the empty parking lot illuminated Suna’s car, just enough for you to see his bored expression as he packed the bowl of his pipe. You two were good friends, and you smoked in groups quite frequently, but never alone. You were the only one awake at 2 am, so you were the lucky one who got to share his full bowl of kief. Normally this would be enough to get a full group high, so you didn’t know what to expect when he said you two would smoke it all. You watched intently as he brought the sleek glass pipe to his lips, the flame of his torch lighter irradiated his face, putting his striking green eyes on display. He was definitely attractive, but you knew his interests only included smoking weed and volleyball, so you never tried anything with him. He inhaled, released his thumb from the carb and passed the piece to you. You quickly began to inhale to keep the bowl cherried, feeling a slight burn in the back of your throat as you passed it back to Suna. You kept it in for a few moments before exhaling slowly, allowing more thick smoke to occupy the car. Very few words were shared until Suna suddenly spoke out.
“Wanna try to shotgun?” he asked with a small smirk.
You giggled at the thought, quite obviously high from smoking almost half the bowl. You had seen your friends do it but you had never experienced it, so you nodded your head. Suna took a long hit and you leaned in. His mouth was brought to yours and you took in the smoke he had exhaled into you. He pulled away, still sporting his smirk. You blew the smoke into his face, still laughing at what you two had just done. After finally finishing the bowl, you turned to face him. You felt heavy and dizzy, much more than you ever had been. The world felt like it was spinning around, and Suna was the only thing stable. You reached out and grabbed his hand, feeling the need to hold something. He gave you a small smile.
“Feels good huh? You okay?”
You nodded and smiled back, feeling warm when he held your hand back. He stroked his fingers across the back of your hand, which sent tingles all over your body. Your senses felt heightened with all that was in your system. Suna noticed you squirming in the passenger seat, something you yourself didn’t notice you were doing. He squeezed your hand, causing you to look up at him. He didn’t say anything at first, he just studied your face for a moment. You were about to look back down before he grabbed your chin.
“You’re pretty. You thirsty?”
You nodded, suddenly being aware of your cottonmouth. You expected Suna to bring out a water bottle, but he just told you to open your mouth. Not thinking of it, you opened your mouth, only to be met by him spitting into it. Your eyes were wide with confusion, but you still swallowed. You looked at Suna who was just as surprised as you were, almost like he wasn’t sure that was going to work. He motioned his head to the backseat, and you instantly complied, squeezing between the two front seats to get there. Suna quickly followed, and instantly attacked your mouth with his once he was seated. He brought you up onto his lap and you immediately grinded into it, desperately trying to feel for his length under his loose shorts. You gasped when you felt it, and Suna took this opportunity to sneak his tongue into your mouth. He tasted like weed and smoke, a flavor you could get used to. His hands made their way up your shirt, cupping your breasts through your bra. He brought his hands to your back, expertly undoing your bra in one quick motion. You helped him by removing it completely, your mouth still connected to his in a heated kiss. He immediately moved his hands back to your front, massaging and pinching both nipples ever so slightly, making you moan into his mouth. You pressed yourself into his lap even more, the friction sending shocks throughout your body. Your pleasure was immeasurable, and this was just from dry sex.
You couldn’t remember how you ended up in that position, but all you knew was you never wanted it to end. Suna was plowing into you from behind, pulling at your hair and spanking you. The backseat was cramped, sure, but you could care less with how good it felt to have Suna stretching you out with every quick thrust. He roughed slammed into you, causing you to arch your back deeper.
“Good girl, being such a good slut for me,” Suna panted out, getting dizzy with pleasure as he relentlessly fucked you. His dirty words went straight to your core, causing you to clamp down onto him. He spanked you again, causing the same reaction. You felt the familiar knot start to form in your stomach as Suna angled himself to hit your special spot with every thrust.
“R-rin, ‘m getting close,” you choked out, tears welling in your eyes as you felt the orgasm getting closer to you. Suna continued what he was doing, ready to make you cum. He reached his hand around to rub at your clit, causing you to clench around him tightly. The stimulation became too much as you creamed around his cock, your orgasm making you feel heavy as it washed over you. Suna pulled out and turned you around, putting your leg onto his shoulder. He looked down at you, his pupils blown out and lustrous.
“We should do this more often,” was all he said before sliding himself back into your overly sensitive cunt.
BONUS:
After that night, your usual smoke group wondered why you and Suna got so close all of a sudden, and why you two always smoked without them. Atsumu decided to investigate and check up on you all, and he scarred himself. When he confronted Suna about it, Suna just told him he shouldn’t have stuck his nose in yall’s business LOL

Visit Day
I had to remind myself to breathe as I stared at myself in the mirror. The small bathroom was boring and bland but clean at least, I ran my hands through my hair and straightened my shirt. I still couldn’t believe I had made this trip. Nearly 2000 miles to meet someone I had deep feelings for.
A man I had never met face to face.
As I made my way back to my assigned seat, I took in the room around me. It felt more like a library then a prison. except for the security gates I had to cross outside to get in of course. Pod 20. Two seats separated by a thick cut out of plastic, there would be no contact. The rules were given and strict and failure to comply would result in abrupt cancellation of the visit, removal from state property and banned for any future visits.
I was absolutely the most nervous I had been in awhile. You see if I could pick and choose a man, build a bear but for a partner if you will....he would be almost exactly what I was looking for...minus the felony record and prison sentence of course but things are rarely ideal for me in any situation.
I had seen his record, he has always been super honest from the very beginning about why he was locked up and what his intentions were. The Penpal sites read more like dating app bios but its for inmates across the US. However he stated from the jump that he wanted only a friend. He told me he had pretty much give up on love, every time he felt like he might be falling in love with someone they ended up burning him bad. It caused him to have serious trust issues and no visitors in nearly two years, even before covid shut the world down.
He only talked to his brother, sister and occasionally the baby momma when she was feeling gracious. I fidgeting in my seat as the silence of the room almost overwhelmed me. Two other inmates were already seated and waiting for their loved ones but I was the only visitor yet. I thought about all the late night conversations and talks, all the jokes, laughter, and even tears. for 6 months I had sat vulnerable and completely honest about myself with this man. He knows about my demons, my insecurities and my goals. He has encouraged, supported, scolded and got on my ass in the ways that I need it. When I tell yall I could here my heart beating against my chest.
Just as I was lost in my head, I hear the outside door pop open shaking me back to the present, his face is covered by the mask but the minute we make eye contact the storm inside me stops. I stand up, awkwardly LOL because I can’t shake his hand or hug him but I really wish I could. I knew he was tall but he feels like a giant sauntering towards me right now, he is a foot and some extra taller then me. We both stand at the barrier, I can feel him looking me up and down as I am doing to him.  We have never met face to face, only video visits that require sitting. His eyes are dark pools of caramel, but they’re deep and still my favorite thing about him. I watch the corners of his eyes crinkle as he smiles widely, I can’t see it because of the mask but I have his smile and laugh memorized.
I was worried about the initial vibe check, I am also worried about the feelings I carry for him. When communication is limited to conversations and phone calls, but your whole life you have felt like you needed to physically satisfy a man to make him fall in love with you, a long distance deal is very scary. The minute we made eye contact, I knew I couldn’t hide it any longer. The feelings weren’t just me convincing myself I loved him, they were real.
From the very first phone call, he told me he would never date me. I deserved better then someone locked up, and he had been cheated on every single time he had been to jail. As I sat down at this visitation, he pulled down his mask and told me I was tiny and lucky this was no contact because other wise he would eat me alive... I knew I was in love with him from the very first minute. I was in trouble for sure, love was not part of the plan. It didn’t matter though, and deep down I had kept telling myself all thee excuses why we couldn’t be together and now I sat just a few feet from him knowing damn well I was his.
I have prayed for this man since I was young, the prince charming who could make me laugh but still knew when to take charge and be tough. I was never the girl in love with the main character, in fact I always sympathized with the villian because when a person feels loved and secure they can do anything. This man can do anything, he just has never had someone believe in him. That breaks my heart, He is not an inmate, he is a human being! Someone's son, brother, father and above all he has chosen me to be his partner. I don't know why, or even understand it because we are so different. I sit in this bland boring room, behind barbed wire and armed guard because something in the very primal part of my soul screams that this man is the one for me, I peek at him over my mask, his deep dark eyes are looking at me, watching me, waiting, He has questions, but I can NOT breathe when he looks at me like that. Fantasies of being underneath him, taking all of him, flood my mind. I cant show him right now but someday I will.
He will know, without a doubt, he owns me. I am his.

It’s a dull ringing that rouses him from his sleep - an annoying tone that he’d sworn to fix and still hasn’t gotten around to.
Quinn groans at the rude awakening, and rolls his head over to see why it was going off by planting his hand on his phone and dragging it closer. It reads unknown against a background of black. Despite the annoyance that makes his tail curl lazily in his bed, he still swipes his finger across the bottom to answer it, bringing it up to his ear.
“Hello?”
The other side of the line is quiet for a moment, before a gruff voice, a little lower than Quinn expects, speaks. “This number was provided in relation to contacting a ‘Quinn Devereux’. Is this who I’m speaking to?”
“This is he,” Quinn says, sliding his blankets off of him, confusion lighting his voice.
“I am calling on behalf of my employer, Mr. Delaney, who has arrived at the meeting place. Except, it does not appear that you are there. I do hope you plan to be on schedule, yes?”
Ah, hell.
Quinn sits up in the bed quickly as alarm saps all the weight from his body. “Uh, of course not! ‘Pologies, I was plannin’ on makin’ it a uh…” he pauses to bring his phone down and note the time, which is about ten ‘til nine. Shit, shit shit- “a little earlier than this. Same place, right? That old abandoned house?”
“Yes. Don’t be late, Quinn. We wouldn’t want this deal going south, now would we?”
“‘Course! I mean, I-'' The phone makes a beeping noise to indicate that the other side hung up, stopping Quinn in his tracks. He looks down at it to be sure, before heaving a large sigh. It’s going to be one of those days it seems.
He needs to work fast. Firstly Quinn rifles through his apartment for nice-ish looking clothes, and though he’s never bought a suit and swears that he’s not going to no matter how much his Ma tells him to, he finds one of the newer button-up shirts that he bought recently. He scans its surface in case it magically had gathered stains on it while sitting in his dresser drawer in exile, but considering he only wore it once for a job interview he figures it’ll do the trick. He slips it on and finds some day old jeans that don’t smell too awful before he takes a look at himself in the mirror.
He’s a little worse for wear, but at a quick glance it’s only those faint dark circles underneath his eyes that catches his attention the most. Quinn combs through his black hair with his fingers, flattening it to look more presentable while also unhooking strands that wrap around his antlers and the bright orange tag against his ear. He pauses there, looking himself up and down.
Bedraggled and half awake, in clothes that are only somewhat clean. Going to a shady place to make a shady deal on behalf of people he barely knows.
“You can do this,” he quietly tells his reflection as he leans against the sink. “Get in, get out, get paid. Get in, get out, get paid.”
He repeats the phrase a few more times, committing it to memory on his way out. He picks up the handwritten letter he’d left on the small table at the front door and stuffs it into his front pocket. Then Quinn grabs onto his muzzle, slipping the buckles around his antlers to fasten it loosely against his face.
As he walks out of his apartment and onto the street, he makes the mistake of checking his phone one he’s properly in the morning light. It reads five minutes before his meeting, and he still has a ways to walk yet. Quinn lets out an exasperated sigh, eyes falling upwards to the adjacent apartment complex. It’s there he notes some curtains quickly shutter closed. His eyes narrow.
There’s someone watching you. Real strange fellow, he remembers the considerate old lady from down the hall telling him.
Tell me something I don’t know, he had responded. Quinn wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out it was just his employer keeping a good and proper eye on information.
To make up for time, he runs. Quinn dips into the alleyways to escape the busy streets of the morning, taking a few turns that he’s become familiar with while walking through the streets. A couple turns here and there, and he exits out onto another main street very close to his destination. He counts himself lucky he remembers the address at all. It would have been embarrassing as hell to have to ask the guy on the phone where he was supposed to have this meeting in the first place.
Quinn jogs up to the specific house, noting the old “for sale” sign that doesn’t even have a number on it anymore. It’s a huge place, once a mansion that was abandoned a long time ago because of bad press or something. He’s never looked at it before; even looking as ruined as it is by time, the place is still out of his price range.
He knocks on the door politely, taking the small pause to smooth out his clothes in a last ditch effort to not look like he had just gotten up a little bit ago, and waits patiently. The door creaks open with several years’ old whine that makes him wince, squinting one eye while he notices a human, dressed in dark clothing with short brown hair and amber eyes, staring back at him. Due to the muzzle making him unable to speak, Quinn offers a small wave before hovering his pinkie over his mouth and thumb over his ear, then pointing to the man. The human offers no reaction, but merely steps to the side. He takes the cue and steps inside the house.
It’s not as majestic as he once thought it might be. It hasn’t been taken care of in ages; the wallpaper is peeling off of the walls and there are holes in the floor, and the more Quinn steps through the house and hears it creak in response to him the more he wonders if the whole thing is going to cave in on him. It’s practically a deathtrap at this point.
He tries to make his reservations known to the human with a pause, knitting his brows in an uncomfortable position as he shoots a glance back at him, but he doesn't get the message.
The human opens up an old door for him that Quinn peeks around. There’s another human sitting in a chair in the middle of the living room, his legs crossed as he reclines into his seat. There’s a cigarette in one hand trailing smoke into the air, filling the room with its scent. His dirty blonde hair was perfectly styled like his fancy suit, and the only thing that didn’t look put together was the rough stubble against his chin.
The man who greeted Quinn closes the door behind both of them and steps around, joining another man with different hair behind the reclining human’s chair. The human in the chair - the boss he’s supposed to speak to, he supposes, flicks out his left wrist to check his watch almost casually. Then, he looks to Quinn with that icy blue stare of his.
“Right on time, it seems,” he says. Quinn tries not to let the dual feelings of discomfort and relief wash over his face too plainly. The man motions to a table he hadn’t seen yet. “Please, take off that muzzle. We can’t talk business if, well, you can’t talk, now can we?”
At his behest, Quinn slides his fingers up to the buckles against his head to loosen them and pull the muzzle off of his face. As it’s drawn away he takes a moment to work his jaws, careful not to bare his teeth too much in the presence of other humans, just in case. Then he places the muzzle on the table.
“Thanks for that. Are you uh, Mr. Delaney?” Quinn asks.
“Yes. I believe you have a message for me?” Delaney sits up in his chair and takes a long drag of his cigarette.
“Uh, yes, I do, I-” As Quinn reaches into his pocket to pull out the letter he’d been given, both of the humans to Delaney’s left and right immediately pull out guns and aim them directly at him. His chest goes cold. “Whoa, whoa, I’m just pullin’ out a letter!”
Delaney brays out a chuckle, puffing out smoke like some sort of dragon. “You’ll have to forgive these two. A bit jumpy after the last attempt, especially with lone messengers like you. Can never be too careful. You understand, right?” His eyes are squinted from his friendly smile, but there’s an emptiness in them that makes Quinn uncomfortable. Moreso when he waves his free hand towards Quinn and tells the guards to, “search him.”
The two bodyguards step forward without putting their guns away. Quinn swallows and stays perfectly still just like his Pa always told him to, allowing the two to move his arms about and go through his pockets. It’s a bit awkwardly invasive with two sets of hands patting him down like they are, but he’d rather have his personal space invaded than, well, the other outcome. The guards dig into all of his pockets, pulling up his wallet and the letter that had come from Quinn’s employer.
The human who found the letter gives Quinn a side eye that makes him draw a blank in terms of words, before opening the letter himself. He draws out the paper that was carefully handwritten and placed, unfolding it like it was a bomb of some sort.
Quinn was watching him like a hawk, so much so that he didn’t notice the other human had stepped away and given his wallet to Delaney.
“So, Quinn, it seems. You’ll have to forgive me for not remembering, it’s hard to remember everyone’s name nowadays. What brings you to this type of work, huh?” Delaney went on, rifling through Quinn’s wallet with curiosity.
“Um, I-I needed the money,” he mutters, watching the bodyguards hand the letter off to Delaney. “For the record, my employer thought it’d look wrong to bring more people besides, well, me. Wants to be cordial an’ all.” It’s not really his message, but he can’t help but feel a bubbling nervous feeling in his stomach as Delaney reads the letter.
“You mean he doesn’t want to lose any more men, so he figured I’d take mercy on just the messenger,” Delaney cooly corrects.
“Well I’m not sure what my employer’d think, but I’d for sure want the messenger t’ be spared,” Quinn says in the attempt at a joke.
When no one in the room laughs, he curls his tail around his ankle.
Delaney huffs a small bit of laughter as he reaches the end of the letter, beginning to slowly rip it up into little pieces and shoving it into his nice suit. “Quinn, do you know what happens when you give someone an inch?”
“They take a mile?” He swallows as the human stands up from his chair and adjusts his cufflinks.
“Yes, good, at least you’re not totally brain dead like some I’ve seen. I’m not about to relent and give that man a fraction of space like he’s requesting. You of all people should know that this is my territory, right? Where I do my business?”
“Right, but-” His breath hitches when the guard next to him grabs onto his shoulders and holds him before he can step forward. “This agreement is so they won’t encroach, is all. Wouldn’t it’d be better to not have any more territory disputes?”
Delaney regards him for a moment, having to tilt his head upwards just slightly due to Quinn’s height. Then he smiles a bit more widely. “I don’t think we’ll be making a deal today. But… I think we’ll take care of it from here. When are you meeting with your employer again?”
“As, as soon as I can.” Quinn’s eyes frantically look around for an exit as the other bodyguard closes in. He needs to get out of here. Now. “I’ll uh, leave you to it then, I guess. Sorry we couldn’t come to some sorta agreement-”
“Let me at least escort you out. My treat,” Delaney offers with an extended hand towards the door.
“Um, I ‘preciate the offer, but, I actually have a uh, a few things to tend to after this, so-”
The bodyguard holding him delivers a solid blow to his middle, knocking the air out of him in one fell swoop. Quinn doubles over, held up only by the strong hands gripping onto his shirt now, gasping to fill his lungs quickly.
“Perhaps I wasn’t very clear. I wasn’t asking, Quinn.” Delaney tilts his head to the side to catch his eye. “I’m not about to let you blab about everything you saw here just yet. Need a few things in order, you know? I just need to know if you’re coming with me willingly, or if my men need to get involved.”
“Hold… hold on a minute now,” he says quickly and yet still breathless as the panic wells in his chest instead of the oxygen he desperately needed. “I’m, I’m just a messenger, I’m not- what-what are you doing?”
Delaney had sighed and looked to his other body guard while Quinn was talking. He points over to the muzzle lying on the table and flicks his hand. “Muzzle him. I don’t have time to deal with his blabbering.”
Quinn’s arms are wrestled behind him before he can realize. The bodyguard is stronger than he thought, and he holds him still long enough for the other one to draw close enough, muzzle in hand. He struggles, lifting his head out of their reach and kicking his legs out to delay the inevitable. One of them grabs his antlers, jerking his head downwards for long enough that they can wrap the buckles around his face. They’re affixed tightly against his face, muffling most of the panicked cries erupting from his throat beyond whines.
“Enough of that whining,” he hears from Delaney as a firm command. He glances over with terrified eyes to see him pull a phone out of his pocket. “I have to make a call. Oh, you two, make sure to get him comfortable in the trunk, will you?”
The two humans nod, and drag him out of the room. Quinn screams as best he can through his nose, kicking his legs and struggling to get away from them as best he can. One of them spits out a curse, unhooking the gun from their side.
“Shut the fuck up,” he hisses. “I’m not dealing with a spitfire devil today. I’ll just shoot you and get it over with. You want that?” Quinn breathes hard and shakes his head frantically. “Then fucking act like it.”
They pull him out of the house with little issue after that. Quinn’s tail coils, tightening painfully against his ankle as it worries at the fabric and skin, as they approach a dark car with tinted windows. One of the bodyguards walks to the other side and pulls out a few items from the front seat, and Quinn can hear the clinking of chain along with it.
He’s suddenly thrust forward, and his face impacts against the side of the car. His bright eyes go wide, searching frantically for what’s happening, and then he feels metal tightly wrap around both of his wrists. Then he is taken from the side of the car to its back, as one of the bodyguards opens up the trunk. Quinn jerks against the cuffs holding his hands together, frustrated and scared tears pricking at the corners of his eyes.
This can’t be happening, he thinks, looking at the interior of the trunk. His antlers are roughly grabbed again, dragging his head to the side. He can’t help but roll the thought around in his head, how this wasn’t supposed to be how it went, as something sharp sticks into the side of his neck. Quinn squirms, a muted whine slipping from his nose as a wave of dizziness hits him and his legs nearly buckle. The guards take the opportunity and throw him into the back of the trunk, and as Quinn lands with a harsh thud his vision blurs from the force of the impact.
“Get comfortable,” the one who cursed at him before remarks. “You’re gonna be with us for a while, I think.”

Amalgam
this is a secret prompt exchange for the varigo discord server! i got the prompt Amalgam for the wonderful and talented @dr-chalk!!!! i hope yall enjoy (and here’s the fic on ao3 too *wink*)
Summary: After relying on Ulla’s notebook to help them through their journey, the gang find that the next kingdom has little to no notes on where the next trial takes place. Their only clue is a location that might have a lead on where to go next. However, after a royal mess up on Hugo’s part, they’re left up the creek without a paddle. Not only are tensions high, but emotions as well. One thing was certain though: Hugo and Varian did not mix well.
Varian and Hugo didn’t mix, that much was clear to see at first glance. Hugo was rough, so many edges and layers of grime applied through falsities and smarmy charm. Meanwhile Varian was more true, more honest with himself and with others, but that often led to him being volatile at the wrong times and too quick to action based on emotion. Needless to say, it wasn’t the best combination.
_____
Hugo watched as Varian stormed into the campsite where the caravan and Prometheus were kept, the latter grazing at a few nearby apples and scraps that his owner had left behind. Needless to say, the young alchemist was furious.
Behind him Yong trotted along with Nuru, both with dejected looks plastered over their faces. Even from a distance Hugo could hear Nuru trying to mumble comforting words to the small boy, a smile on her face despite the recent hardships. And lastly, heading up the rear, was Hugo himself. His face was blank, almost unreadable save for the smallest of frown lines forming beneath his softly twitching lips.
No one was in a good mood and no one wanted to talk about it.
Yong went over to the fire pit and mumbled about getting the food ready for the night with Nuru which only resulted in a jerky nod from Varian before he headed into the makeshift lab tent. As each member went about their separate tasks, Hugo was left standing at the edge of the camp, arms crossed and the facade of normalcy fading.
He knew he had to do something, had to make this all right. They had been so close to discovering the path to the next trial, but he’d been reckless and wanted to show off. Now they were down a crucial key to getting to the next trial and morale and it was all his fault.
A sigh escaped him before he decided to move his feet. Yong and Nuru would probably be the easiest to apologize too; Nuru already didn’t like him before this but she was also smart enough to set bitter feelings aside and Yong was so happy-go-lucky that all it would take to earn back his favor was a brightly colored sparkler. They would be easy to win over.
That’s exactly why Hugo walked past them and instead headed into the lab tent. The area was small and cramped with everything from books to test tubes to chemicals that had to be carefully repacked every time they wanted to move. Even though they’d set it up together, Hugo could feel the shift in the area after his most recent blunder.
This was Varian’s space and he was intruding on the alchemist’s domain.
The man in question was muttering to himself, flipping through books and slamming his fists down as he closed volumes that didn’t have the answers he wanted. Honestly he was quite terrifying like this. Hugo, despite his outward teasing, had a healthy mix of both fear and respect for Varian, seeing how the other was never one to back down.
In the moment, the fear was predominant.
As much as he would’ve loved to have stood there forever, watching the other work so nimbly even in the mists of anger instead of confronting him on the issue, he knew that he couldn’t do that.
“Hey, uh, Varian. So about back there-” Hugo’s words were cut off before he could finish them. Suddenly Varian was striding over to him, face contorted in a particular anger that was more hurt and disappointment than malice.
“Yes Hugo, let’s talk about ‘back there’. I would love nothing more to talk about ‘back there’ so lets do that shall we? What part of ‘back there’ do you want to talk about? Maybe the part where you fought me for ten minutes on which direction we should go in. Or maybe the part where you insisted on using your own chemicals to open a doorway and instead got everyone a nose full of stink bomb. Or maybe! Maybe it’s the part where you almost got all of us fucking killed by setting off a trap!” Varian was huffing by the last line, his breath leaving his body in shaking bursts that made Hugo’s own chest constrict.
“Varian, listen-”
“No! I had my time to listen, now you’re going to listen to me. My mother’s journal can only lead us so far; whatever was in that cavern was going to take us to the next trial location inside the kingdom. Now we have no cavern, no lead, and almost lost our lives. Instead of finding the exact location we’re going to have to spend...I don’t even know! Days? Weeks! Searching this kingdom to find the trial chamber. All because you don’t trust anyone but yourself!”
The words stung Hugo more than any reprimand Donella had ever given him; more than any punishment he’d ever gotten from the other goons in the gang. It was blistering, scalding. He’d never felt so bad about messing up because, until Varian, he’d never messed up.
He never messed up because he’d never truly tried to help others.
But with Varian that’s all he wanted to do. And he fucked that chance right up.
“Can I please just-” Hugo started, but Varian was clearly determined to not let him say anything.
“No, you can’t. You want to know what we got for all of this? For almost losing our lives?” Varian turned around and pulled out his satchel, removing a fist sized filthy crystal that was no prettier than a dirty rock. “We got this. And only because it fell on me!”
Hugo stood there, trying not to let his shame show through. Yet again, he was downfalled by his hubris. It was just different, working together as a team. He’d never had to trust or rely on anyone else besides himself. Apparently, he wasn’t very good at trusting others.
In front of him Varian slammed the crystal rock down in a compound that Hugo recognized as hydrofluoric acid. Hugo thought that the other would break the beaker or hurt himself with the force that he threw the crystal rock down and suddenly worry overtook his shame.
“Hey, careful!” He reached out to check Varian’s hand, but the other batted him away.
“That’s enough, Hugo.” Varian said. The sound of his voice, the disappointment and rage, sent a shiver down Hugo’s spine. But he wasn’t just going to stand there and take it. If the other wanted to ignore his attempts at an apology, that was fine by him.
Without another word, Hugo turned on his heels and headed out the tent.
“You know,” He started, turning his attention to Nuru and Yong, who were currently on the ground after trying to scamper back to their places, “You two do a piss poor job of eavesdropping.”
_____
Five days went by without them speaking to each other. Five days of curt nods and stiffly eaten meals and as little contact as they could manage while still trying to figure out how to make it to the next trial. Hugo and Varian’s foul mood affected everyone; even Ruddiger was beginning to eat his apples with less enthusiasm.
The group’s searches in the city for how to begin their trial proved to be utterly fruitless. Varian’s journal was no use, and they’d expended the only other key that they had.
Overall, not the most fun few days. However, Yong and Nuru were becoming less concerned with the trial and more concerned for their two alchemists.
“He’s not been sleeping a lot.” Yong said.
“Varian never sleeps.” Came Nuru’s halfhearted reply, even though there was worry in the pit of her stomach as well.
“But this is different. Usually he just stays up because he’s in his tent...or putting out a fire I started. Right now he’s just doing nothing.”
“Yeah.” Nuru sighed. She knew she couldn’t deny it. Things were getting bad and no one knew how to make them better again. “Hugo’s been pretty quite too. Which I thought was going to be a good thing but now believe it or not I’d give anything to hear him say one of his stupid jokes again. At least then that would mean things were normal.”
Both of them knew that it wouldn’t be that simple. At first they’d tried plots and schemes; fake notes left by the other, arranging meet ups between the two that never came to fruition. After several attempts over the last five days, both Yong and Nuru agreed that whatever needed to be fixed, Hugo and Varian would have to do it in their own time.
They just wished the two worked faster.
_____
Hugo couldn’t sleep and that really sucked for him because all he wanted to do was sleep and pretend like his current life was nothing more than a bad dream.
Varian’s words still echoed around his mind, stinging him when he thought too hard on it. He knew he’d been in the wrong but for once in his life he had been trying to apologize and this? This is what he got out of it?
Not worth it.
That’s what he told himself, it wasn’t worth it, it wasn’t worth it, it just wasn’t worth it. Of course, that just wasn’t true.
He hated to admit it but Varian’s forgiveness was worth it. It was worth its weight in gold because it would be from Varian. In the days that he’d spent avoiding Varian physically, he couldn’t escape the other alchemist in his thoughts. He was longing to make up with him, something he never cared about from anyone else.
There was something about Varian that made him want to be better, to earn his favor. The idea that they could make up, that they could get along, that maybe one day they would do more than just get along…
Hugo smacked his head, trying to get rid of the thoughts before they could manifest. He did not like Varian. Not in that way. No, he couldn’t allow himself to like Varian any more than the regular amount.
He was a spy after all. A double agent. It was basically traitors 101: Don’t fall for the guy you have to two-face.
He always sucked at following rules.
Knowing that he wasn’t about to get a lick of sleep any time soon, Hugo got up from his sleeping bag and exited his tent, hoping that maybe a walk would clear his mind from his unpleasant (or, perhaps, too pleasant) thoughts.
As he got out he saw that he wasn’t the only one who couldn’t sleep. The lab tent had a dim light shining through the flaps and through the still wind Hugo could barely make out the sound of someone muttering.
‘Varian’s up too huh?’ He thought to himself.
His goal was to stay away from Varian, but the light in the tent called to him like a moth to a flame. There could be no harm in just walking by it, right?
He slinked over to the entrance, pepping inside to see that Varian’s back was turned away from the entrance, head in his hands as he sat in front of several test tubes and scattered papers.
“What am I supposed to do, Ruddiger?” Varian softly asked the raccoon who was clearly asleep on the ground.
“Just one big screw up after another,” He continued, “It’s all turned into a mess in just a couple of days. How can I possibly-”
This was a mistake. Hugo shouldn’t have been here, spying on Varian. And of course the other was still mad at him, for good reason. He’d screwed everything up after all, made things one big mess.
Hugo sighed, wishing he’d just stayed in bed. But before he could leave he heard Varian continue.
“How am I ever going to tell him how sorry I am?”
Hugo paused at those words, taking a moment to linger outside of the tent before quietly slinking in to hear what else Varian had to say.
“I was just...so upset. He could’ve died and it would’ve been my fault for arguing with him so much about the direction and the traps and everything else. And now he probably hates me right? I just wish I could tell him I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have blamed everything on him. But he’d never accept that.”
“Well maybe if you asked him.” Hugo said, a smile suddenly playing on the edge of his lips.
Varian jumped, nearly sending all of his chemicals flying and hastily tried to correct himself.
“Hugo what-what are you doing here? You should be asleep an-and you know it’s rude to spy on people, I was having a personal moment here with Ruddiger and you can’t just walk in here and ruin our heart to heart-”
“I’m sorry.” Hugo’s words stopped Varian dead in his tracks as the other balked at him.
“What did you say?”
“I’m not used to working with other people, so I didn’t want to listen to you. I wanted to do things my way and maybe even show off a little. But it just cost us a piece to the puzzle and...almost hurt you. I mean, almost hurt Nuru and Yong too but,” Hugo reached out and took Varian’s hand into his own, “I was worried about you the most.”
He might’ve added the last line to sweeten Varian up just a little bit, but deep down he knew it was true. He’d been more worried about Varian than he’d been about his own hide, which was really saying something.
He smirked seeing the other’s face turn red in the dim lantern light. God he was cute. And Funny. And charming in his own nerdy way.
“Well I’m sorry too. I shouldn’t have-”
“Oh, shut up, I already heard your apology.” With Varian’s hand still in his own, he leaned forward, his face even closer to the other man’s.
There was a beat of silence between them, stirring in both of their breaths as they studied the other’s face. They were so close, so tantalizingly close to the other. It would be so easy just to lean down a half inch more, taste Varian's delicious looking lips on his own. Up so close, Hugo could see the plumpness of the other’s bottom lip, the slight shine it had in the warm light from him licking his lips in worry. Just one more half inch. One more.
Hugo stepped forward. Varian stepped back.
And the sound of a beaker tipping over and smashing could be heard throughout the night.
“Fuck!” Varian helped as he turned over and tried to find the broken glass in the soft light. “Shit, shit, I think that one was the hydrofluoric acid. I hadn’t changed it out since I put the crystal...in...it…”
Hugo peered at him curiously as Varian’s voice died down, a look of puzzlement on his face as he leaned down to examine the pile. The blue eyed alchemist tightened his glove on his hand before gently reaching down into the rubble pile.
The acid, over the course of a few days, had melted the crystal down. Revealing, in its place, a golden coin that had been left inside.
Varian stood back up, coin in hand, and held it to the light.
“That’s the emblem for the city we’re in right?” Hugo asked, looking at the coin curiously.
“Yeah. The emblem and the fountain in the square. Only...hand me a coin. One that we got from the market the other day.”
Hugo did what Varian asked with no hesitation, and the two examined the coins side by side.
“The lady in the regular emblem on the coin is pointing down. But this one-”
“Is pointing left.” Hugo interrupted.
“Right. I mean, left. I mean-yes. You’re right that she’s pointing left. That’s where the Kingdom’s sewer main entrance is. To the left of the fountain. And the covers! They all have the emblems on them too.” Varian said.
“I think I remember a few of them pointing in different directions but I thought that was just a pipe thing but what if-”
“They’re directions! It would take us forever to explore the entire sewer system but if they are all pointing in different directions, we start by the one at the fountain-”
“Follow them throughout the city-”
“Until we finish at the right one!”
The last line they both said together excitedly after finishing each other’s sentences.
Varian smacked his hand excitedly against Hugo’s chest several times with a wide grin.
“And that’s the entrance to the next trial!!! This is amazing! The answer was right here in front of us all along!”
“So Varian, what you’re saying is, that I actually did the right thing and I can retract my apology now.”
“Don’t push it.” Varian tried to act stern but the grin on his face gave him away much too easily. “It’s almost morning, I’m going to go wake the others. And Hugo?”
Before Hugo knew it was coming he felt Varian’s lips press against his cheek for just a fleeting second. His eyes grew wide and he found himself at a loss for words to come back at him with. No that he really minded.
“We, uh, have a few things to talk about after this.”
_____
Varian and Hugo didn’t mix, at least not at first. Hugo was rough, so many edges and layers of grime applied through falsities and smarmy charm. But there was something good underneath. Something worth finding. Meanwhile Varian was more true, more honest with himself and with others, but that often led to him being volatile at the wrong times and too quick to action based on emotion. But sometimes a bit of emotion was needed to clear the air, sometimes being volatile could lead to being vulnerable. They were a curious amalgam of two things, both brought together to make something brilliant.

When the Anti-Federation Rebels did not return by the time Leonard’s throat had begun to itch with thirst, he started to realise that he wasn’t critically injured Had any properly trained Starfleet officer been put in his situation, they probably wouldn’t even bother showing up to medbay at this stage. But he wasn’t properly trained. Just a bumbling country doctor the fleet had stupidly thought would thrive while being held responsible for the lives of the entire crew of their flagship. He wasn’t built for this kind of thing, he wasn’t trained. Physically and emotionally weaker than the rest of the crew, and completely ignorant of the politics and mind games involved in space travel; he was in pain. All he had wanted was to try and stop the spread of the virus, and look where that had gotten him.
He’d strong-armed Kirk into taking this mission. Pulled in a few favours. He’d not been keeping a particularly close eye on the negotiations happening between the official representatives of Caughlaigh and the United Federation of Planets, but when he’d heard about the viral outbreak on the main content of the planet, Leonard McCoy knew they weren’t equipped to handle the situation. The night he first heard about the outbreak, he’d asked Kirk what he’d known about Caughlaigh, to which the captain had responded : “To be perfectly honest, not much, Bones.”, before neatly taking Spock’s rook with a knight. Spock had raised an eyebrow at Leonard’s sudden breaking of the comfortable silence in the room. The eyebrow crept a millimetre higher at the captain’s unprecedented move. Leonard decided to drop the conversation and forget about it. He knew he didn’t know everything about the situation. He knew Starfleet would’ve looked at the medical capabilities of the people of Caughlaigh and reacted accordingly. He knew Spock was underestimating the importance of that particular move made by Jim. He’d thought maybe he was underestimating the Caughlaigh officials. Jim had won that particular match.
Two days later, a recommended news story on his personal PADD told him the situation on Caughlaigh had escalated from an outbreak to a pandemic. There were cases in every settlement on the main continent, and the spread of the virus to the other two smaller continents was inevitable. He’d hung behind after watching Spock destroy Jim at chess three times in a row to tell the captain what he’d learned. Jim had smiled softly in the way he always did when Leonard was being unnecessarily worrisome. “I’m sure the powers that be are making sure no-one is in any real danger.” A friendly clap on the shoulder that the rest of the crew would’ve taken in their stride shook McCoy slightly. “Now, I recommend you get yourself a good night’s rest, Bones.” Leonard had grumbled something about not knowing Jim had gotten a medical license.
Another two days later, another recommended news story. The first deaths from the virus had happened in the epicentre of the pandemic, the largest settlement on the main continent had lost their main healer and her most trained assistant. McCoy set up his PADD so that any articles regarding the Caughlaigh Pandemic would be automatically downloaded, available to read even if they entered some electromagnetic storms or some other astro-phenomenon he didn’t fully understand.
A week later, three inhabitants of one of the smaller continents passed away. Leonard had gone to Jim with the intention of seeking comfort from the closest thing he had to a friend on this godforsaken tin can. He’d come back six hours later with a promise from his captain and Starfleet that the Enterprise was going to assist with the Caughlaigh situation.
A day later, Leonard hand picked multiple ensigns and a few nurses to take with him to the surface to work on the frontlines. Commander Spock had formally contested the logic in sending down the ship’s chief medical officer to work in a hospital instead of working on a cure back at the ship. Leonard’s friend Spock had requested he be unwavering in his sanitation and self-preservation on the surface.
He’d only been on the surface for a week when he’d been knocked out while he was scrubbing up for a surgery. The anti-federation rebels had noticed his uniform and taken him for a great deal of questioning. They used a method that was rather... forceful.
They had left him alone, finally. Maybe they had realised he wasn’t going to cooperate. Most likely they were taking a break to make sure they didn’t render him useless before they could exploit him for information. Lucky for him.
Leonard McCoy didn’t enjoy bright lights at the best of times; as a boy growing up in Georgia he’d always been mocked by his peers for his adverse reaction to the harsh sunlight, whether it was violently scrunching up his face or wearing sunglasses every time he stepped outside the door. He’d eventually stopped wearing the sunglasses, migraines be damned. A kid can only take so much ridicule. Now, decades later, he found himself irrationally wishing he’d taken his sunglasses with him. He had to focus on how much the harsh, almost surgical lights were paining him. Had to, unless he wanted to focus on the rest of his aching body.
He could heard the sound of his captors making their way back into the room he’d been strapped up in, and began to pull helplessly at his bonds, which did nothing but give him friction burns around his wrists and ankles. He tried to speak but instead of his voice, a pained hiss of air rushed out from somewhere low in his throat as a clawed foot connected with his stomach.
Clinically, Leonard registered the puncturing of the skin over his stomach, but failed to extrapolate any further medical analysis as pain seared from the wounds. A fist connected with his nose. There was a crack, then more pain. He could feel blood rushing down his lower face, could feel it looking between his lips, could taste it when his mouth opened in a gasp for air as something constricted his breathing.
Thrashing his head, Leonard desperately tried to get a glimpse of who was in the room with him, tried to figure out where they were coming from, where they’d hit him next, but the lights were blinding him, his eyes were burning, he was pretty sure his nose was broken, he was bleeding, he... he was alone.
An open palm struck his face while another clawed foot pressed painfully at the base of his spine. It was probably his imagination, but Leonard thought he could hear his old bones creak and groan under the pressure.
His lips grew tacky with the blood that continued to gush from his nose, and his head spun. He couldn’t stop himself from jerking his arms instinctively to press against the throbbing wounds to his stomach, which caused the restraints on his wrists to dig into his skin.
A cold, almost-leather strap was clamped around his neck, and it was tight, much too tight. He tried to tell them, desperate mewlings that went ignored as his nose kept bleeding and his stomach kept churning and he couldn’t think and then there was a strong, cold, seven fingered hand gripping his jaw, forcing his chin up.
A growl, from someone Leonard couldn’t see, corresponded with a significant tightening of the grip on his jaw. His head was full of feathers, he was sure of it. A soft, swan-like down that was probably stained brick red from the steady stream pouring out of his nose, out of his gut-
He felt his jaw shatter and his head hit the ground.
***
“Bones, please respond.” The captain had been comming his CMO for upwards of an hour now, ever since he failed to give his morning report. He hadn’t been particularly worried about Bones’s failure to report precisely on time; he’d always had an awful internal clock. The only reason he was starting to worry now was that his away team hadn’t seen Dr.McCoy since lunchtime yesterday.
Now, if it had been an away team of senior officers, he’d believe Bones would’ve felt no need to check in with the crew, but he’d taken down a bunch of ensigns to try and give them some experience on the field, and Bones was the biggest mother hen Jim had ever met. “Spock, life signs?”
Spock hadn’t looked up from his console all morning, which was a worry in itself. “The doctor removed his comm badge before retiring last night, earlier than normal, captain. He has not reattached it since.”
“You’re telling me we can’t find him?” Jim was trying to keep his professionalism, but when his friend was unaccounted for on a politically volatile planet, he thought he could be forgiven a little terseness.
Spock took longer to reply than usual, his hands fiddling with what Jim knew to be more sensitive equipment than their general sensors. “There is no terran life-forms outside of the planet-side transporter location within our sensor range, captain.”
“And what exactly is our sensor range, Mr.Spock?” Angling for less confrontational, Jim found himself using a tone of voice he knew Spock had difficulty discerning whether it was angry or not. To make up for this, Jim perched himself on the edge of Spock’s console, placing his hand on the back of the chair and leaning in closer so he could look at the readings himself.
“We can scan the entire surface of the planet with the assistance of the numerous towers planet-side. However, we can only penetrate approximately six feet below the surface due to the composition of the planet’s soil. It contains isotopes which-”
“Thank you Mr.Spock, I understand.” Normally, Jim would indulge Spock in his analysis, but time could very well have been a resource they were lacking. “Six feet, you say?”
“Affirmative, captain.” Spock was looking directly at him, his normal micro-expressions invisible to Jim.
“Well, at least we know he’s not dead.”
“Captain?”
“I’ll explain later, Mr.Spock. Mr.Scott?” The crackle of the infamously bad reception from the engine room rang over the bridge’s intercom.
“Aye, captain?”
“Any chance we could get those sickbay kids back onboard?”
“Aye sir. I had someone repair those transporters this mornin’.”
“Excellent. Bridge out.” Kirk took a steadying breath. Just one. He couldn’t let the panic he could feel settling low in his chest affect his ability to command the ship. Especially when the livelihood of the ship’s CMO depended on that ability. “Transporter room?”
“Sir?”
“Have we got a lock on the away team?”
“All bar one, captain. Do you have the coordinates of Dr.McCoy?”
“Not right now, no. Beam up the rest, and have them report to my ready room.”
“Aye, sir.”
Jim closed his eyes for a moment, vaguely aware of Spock standing up from his station. “Alright, Mr.Spock. Let’s find out what we can from these officers before we go jumping to any conclusions.”
***
Leonard woke as his head was thrown against what felt like a stone wall, blood bubbling in the back of his throat. He could only hope the blood was from his nose and not his lungs, although both his face and chest were aching equally.
A hand pinned him to the wall by the back of his neck, grinding his face against the gritty surface. Tiny pebbles scraped at the skin of his face, and he could feel his head spin as concern about an infection flitted in and out of the overwhelming bouts of different kinds of pain. A burning pain on his face from the fiction between his cheek and the gravely wall, a sharp pain in his nose (broken, if the amount of blood pooling above his upper lip was anything to go by), another sharp pain somewhere on the back of his head (sticky substance on back of neck: sweat or blood?), various, almost insignificant pains along and around his torso, an overall stiffness, and, oh Jesus.
A shriek ripped its way out of his severely dehydrated throat as a scaled fist collided with his side, tugging at the skin which they had haphazardly sewn back together while he’d been knocked out. The area around the wound was warm, and the second the fist made contact with his side he could feel something oozing out of it. Not good, his brain helpfully supplied. The scream that had perforated the room left him whimpering in pain, his jaw a horrific cocktail of sharp, stabbing pains and dull aches, a bitter metallic taste stinging at his taste buds.
A voice, speaking a language he didn’t know, was coming from somewhere in the room, too far away to be his assailant. Then, right beside his ear, from a tongue not designed to verbalise Standard : “They come.”
Leonard could feel a sharp talon being pressed against the junction between the hinge of his jaw and his ear, not piercing the skin, not yet. It took him a while to try and figure out what they meant, then he gave a sharp, barking laugh followed by a coughing fit, splattering the wall he was pressed against. Jesus Christ. “You’re on some goddamn dumb shit if y’all think they ain’t halfway across y’all’s galaxy by this point.”
The faraway, foreign vocalisations. The talon jabbed forcefully into his skin, making him groan, feeling a warm trickle of blood slither down his neck to pool with whatever was dripping down the back of his neck.
He’d been crying since before he’d woken up, at least he thought so. “They ain’t comin’ you goddamn idiots, get your paws the fuck offa me.” His voice was thin and non-threatening, even to his own ears. The talon dragged itself down, towards his carotid artery. Leonard’s shriek was trapped in his throat as he squirmed, pressing himself further into the wall in a pathetic attempt to escape the motion. He could hear the owner of the slowly advancing talon release a hiss, before jerking it back up to his ear, deepening the wound.
He could hear his own sobs bouncing off of the walls, echoing around his head. They weren’t coming. They couldn’t come, they’d get caught too, they had to leave him. The shudder that ran through his body tugged at the rancid stitches in his stomach, the shifting of his clothes hitting him with his own stench: dried blood, fresh blood, sweat, urine, and vomit.
Must’ve thrown up while unconscious.
Why didn’t I choke on it, damnit?
His stomach heaved, his stitched popped, and he felt himself crumple, but was unconscious before he felt to the ground with a dull crack.
***
“Captain it’s been three days-”
“I won’t give up the search-”
“I would not suggest we cease our search, captain. I was suggesting you allow me to proceed ahead at my own pace, as I believe I will be more efficient in locating the doctor than the security team.”
“I need you here, Spock.”
“You do not.”
Jim had never seen Spock like this before, never born witness to his unwavering loyalty secondhand. He was used to being found by a Spock who had already begun to lose his  version of a frantic disposition. He did not know what to do with a Spock who looked like he was going to go ahead with his own plan regardless of orders received. “Spock-”
“You have many competent officers aboard who would be willing to assist you in interviewing the locals.”
Jim tilted his head, giving his first officer a warning look which he had a feeling went ignored. “Are you suggesting my search team is incompetent, Mr.Spock?”
His eyebrows jumped as Spock clearly opened his mouth to give his agreement. Spock quickly checked himself and closed his mouth, took a deep breath, then leveled Jim with a look he knew all too well. Spock had picked it up from him. “I am merely noting your CMO has been missing for three days, presumed in mortal danger.” It was a vulcanised version of the look Jim got before disobeying a direct order from a superior.
“I need you back alive. Both of you.”
Spock blinked once in what Jim hoped was a promise before he was gone.
***
The team of redshirts trailed behind Spock as he followed the sound of a gentle scraping his human teammates had not been able to hear. The sound grew louder as they wound their way through a cave system that was almost too dark for him to see in. Spock’s already brisk pace grew even faster as a pained groan joined the scraping noise, an eerily human expression of pain.
The team following him broke out into a full sprint the second they heard a yell coming from directly ahead. Spock froze at the familiarity of that yell. He’d heard it more times than he cared to, and his stomach lurched at what it implied. Snapping into action, he easily outstripped the rest of the team, who yelled for him to stop.
Spock did not stop.
He burst into a wide open cavern flooded with bright light, felt his second eyelid slide shut, and in the split second it took for his eyes to adjust, there were three pairs of eyes fixed on him. Two threatening, reptilian humanoids watched him carefully, as Spock stood, frozen. McCoy was looking at him, but his eyes were glazed over, his face gaunt and bloody, his bare feet slipping in a puddle of his own shockingly red blood as he was held up by his neck by one of the two friendly locals. Spock felt cold, and he could feel his heart drop to his pelvic girdle as he was unable to see the rise and fall of the doctor’s chest. He couldn’t move. The captors were stood in shock, uncertain what to do with their intruder.
“S....Sp....” McCoy blinked slowly and tried to speak. The sound of his voice struggling up through a restricted throat, past a mangled jaw, desperately trying to form the sounds of his name brought a fury Spock had never known.
He felt a growl rumble in his chest, and when the lizard holding McCoy by the neck gave the doctor a shake, Spock launched himself. He was vaugly aware of a scuffle ensuing behind him, but his focus was totally on pulverising this creature who had dared to try and take Leonard from him.
Wrapping an arm around Leonard’s chest elicited a pained mewl from his tiny doctor, which sent another surge of red through Spock, as he shoved the creature away from them instead of trying to pull Leonard away, but the creature dug its talons in instead of letting go. Spock could feel Leonard jerk forward, pulled by the nails embedded in his neck. A strangled noise left Spock as he leaned forward and sank his teeth into the hand, which released Leonard in surprise. Immediately, Spock slipped McCoy behind him, his concern slowly growing to outtake his anger as Leonard’s pained noises grew more and more frequent. Backing into a corner, Spock’s eyes did not leave the advancing opponent.
There was a flash of light, the lizard fell, and Spock immediately turned to Leonard, his hands flying to the psi-points on the doctors face without hesitation, totally unaware of the frail hands shakily trying to pry him away. Spock joined to McCoy without hesitating, ascertaining the extent of the damage.
That wasn’t a very good idea, darlin’.
Spock had not wanted his first meld with Leonard to be like this, not filled with more pain than he knew the doctor could withstand, not feeling the ghosts of what he knew, logically, were recent, fatal wounds, and older, debilitating lacerations and fractures.
You may not leave.
Since when have I ever done what y’told me to, Spock?
His thoughts were... surprisingly direct for a human untrained in vulcan ways, but the way they were growing gradually quieter was enough to send Spock into a panic which he tried desperately to tamp down.
On Vulcan, one’s spouse always  obeys their husband.
Who’s t’say y’ain’t the one who’s ‘posed to do th’ obeyin’?
Spock felt a flash of pain as Leonard tried to smile, then the connection went dead.
Leonard had slammed up a mental barrier, and Spock did not have time to wonder where he had learned to do that, not as he was desperately pressing at Leonard’s psi-points while fixedly staring at the increasingly unsteady rise and fall of the his chest. Spock’s gazed fixed in horror at the stark white slip of collarbone protruding from the skin with every inhale.
By the time the familiar fizz of the transporter surrounded them, Spock was no longer fighting against the mental barrier, but was still unable to make contact with the spirited doctor.
***
Jim had known Spock’s expression had meant he was going to disobey an order. He’d hoped by giving the order Spock had wanted, to bring his two best friends home, to avoid that. He should’ve known better.
