Fun Fact
Kazakhstan’s Minister of Communications and Informatics has blocked the Tumblr site because it contained 60 sites of terrorism, extremism, and pornography in 2015.
Tomorrow I'm preforming!!! I'm excited and stressed at the same time.
Busy day. I had 9 lessons, but it wasn't bad. At the history lesson we and our teacher went for an ice cream near our school. I love my history teacher so much, she's an icon, really 💜
After my lessons I met with my friends at the park, and when I came back I was practicing for tomorrow.
You may or may not know this already, but Hitchcock did not write his classic film, Psycho.
He didn't even come up with the idea! The 1960 film was based on a book (also called Psycho) by Robert Bloch. Hitchcock even bought every copy of the book at the time so that the ending of the film wouldn't be spoiled.
This book (published only one year before the film released) is considered one of the most influential horror books of the 20th century, and at only 185 pages, probably a quick read, too.
If you haven't seen the film Psycho, I can't recommend it enough. After I read the book, maybe I'll recommend it too.
Oh nooo I hadn’t noticed that my cat’s automatic feeder was getting low on food so as usual she dashed off when she heard the machine start but I couldn’t hear the usual sound of her food falling into the bowl so I went to look and my poor cat was just. Sitting there. Staring at her empty food bowl. Then for a second she glanced up at me then right back to her bowl with the biggest, saddest, most bewildered eyes you could ever imagine on such a small creature. I filled her bowl and the machine right away ofc but I still feel a little guilty 😭
I’m so sorry but in the nicest way possible do yall actually read books or just read words??? Cause I’ve been seeing that trend of people not understanding how “snarled” and “eyes darkened” and “eyes softened” etc. was used in a book and like…
Genuinely, do yall just not have imagination?? Or not understand figurative language??? Also eyes do literally darken and soften have you not lived a life??? How do you read with no imagination? Is this how you get through so many books in one month - you simply don’t take the time the understand the words as they are read?
