"Everything will be erased in a second. The dictionary of words amassed between cradle and deathbed, eliminated. All there will be is silence and no words to say it. Nothing will come out of the open mouth, neither I nor me. Language will continue to put the world into words. In conversation around a holiday table, we will be nothing but a first name, increasingly faceless, until we vanish into the vast anonymity of a distant generation."
....The years . Annie Ernaux

The Blogger: Just so we're clear... listening to music keeps me sane after I take my anti-anxiety pill and I put on my tunes... I have my escape.

Happens to me most of the time
P.s. Just you should know I am not an artist and I know it looks bad
Tramatic Flashbacks happens when vivid memories of a painful experience of the past intrude into the present. They can create a sense of disconnection from your current surroundings. You may feel as if you’re right back in the traumatic moment, living through it all over again, even if it happened a while ago.
To cope with your flashbacks all you needed to do :
• Slowly , deeply breath in and out. Maintain a steady rhythm (pattern of breathing)
• Since flashbacks often involve dissociation, mindfully moving your body can often helps you refocus your consciousness on actions taking place in the present. So Walk, move, or stretch
•Your five senses can go a long way toward helping you return to the present moment during a flashback
For eg,smelling something pleasant, like spices or a candle.
•Try telling yourself, as many times as it takes, “This is a flashback. I’m remembering what happened before. It’s not happening now.” Remind yourself that you are safe now.
In case if you need to go for a therapy:
>Trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
>Group therapy/Supportive psychotherapy.
>Cognitive processing therapy (CPT)

me when i realize that the media i consume during bad times that makes me feel seen and understood is also making me wrongly believe that refusing to let anyone in is a reasonable coping skill, fueling my self-hatred, and worsening my ability to be vulnerable with the people i care about:
