People who shit on Teen Titans Go for not being like Teen Titans are so fucking stupid because it's not like the original Teen Titans (2003) characters were even like the Teen Titans. The most obvious example is Robin who despite all of the implications is not fucking Dick Grayson. Like he's maybe Tim Drake. But REALLY he's just an OC.

These are decades old characters of course there's going to be multiple interpretations of them. Some of which are just bastardized interpretations of already existing ones and some of which are just new characters with the same name.
