Latest doll!

I’ve leveled up my mini clothing skills since last time, resulting in this dress! It’s hard to see because of the gathering, but it has little blue bunnies on it, which I think is just precious! I got the fabric last time I was in Paris, so it’s extra fancy, and the lace details are vintage! Her accessories (the key and bell) were salvaged from the vacuum cleaner at the gîte I work at. So she’s a mix of fancy and scabby.

All together it gives her a porcelain doll from an old dollhouse look, and I’m here for it.

I’m very pleased with her, once my etsy shop is up and running, she’ll be the first one there! (I just noticed her lips are a little smudged, oops! I’ll patch that up when/if she gets sold)

Still needs a name though. I’ve been suggested Jessie and Haley (and also Stanley but I’m gonna ignore that one) but neither really suit her. Any ideas?

My husband is finally supposed to be home either tonight or tomorrow morning so I made some Nutella bread 🤤 For some reason I had been struggling with my bread the last few months. The texture was weird, always ending up dense. I've been using the same recipe my entire life and my mom considers me the best bread baker in the family, despite being the one to teach me how to bake. The only changes I've made in the last few months is using a stand mixer and proofing in the oven. Growing up we didn't have a stand mixer so we made bread by hand and then usually just let it sit on the stove. I thought I was saving myself time and energy by doing it differently, but I ended up sacrificing the quality of my bread. I made these by hand and left them on the stove to prove and they came out perfectly so I've definitely learned my lesson. 😂
