Solitude is your path of personal independence -

Being alone makes me really happy its like my special place where i can be myself and feel good i don't feel the need for another person to take responsibility for my happiness and emotional needs and i don't really want somebody in the phase i am in i can think and be creative without any interruptions it's like a peaceful break from everything else

Being alone helps me find peace in simple things like reading or walking outside these moments refresh me and make me feel more creative. Being alone also helps me understand myself better now I can think deeply about my feelings and thoughts which helps me grow as a person indeed.

Solitude is a phase that teaches you how to handle your emotions and bad days without relying on someone else. It actually teaches you how to live without depending on others and without ranting about your problems to them

And i want to message those people who constantly seek emotional support from everyone and keep crying that they need someone i feel they need to work on themselves or they have to accept the situation and think about what they can do themselves..instead of constantly seeking attention. Seeking attention all the time makes you mentally weak remember that. I feel that they should question themselves "Why do i need someone else am i not enough?"

Being alone doesn't mean staying comfortable It's about finding strength and discovering who you are ...it's about facing challenges, overcoming fears, and becoming stronger ..when you're alone you have the power to chase your dreams and conquer obstacles so don't think it's not brave to be alone it actually shows how strong and determined you really are.

Solitude makes you quickly observe things around you apart from the world of social media. If you begin on a journey of self discovery and learn to be with yourself ...you won't feel the need for others as much. This journey is very difficult I'm not saying that it's easy lol no!! especially for those who can't live without relying on others but if you want your future self to thank you then don't hesitate just start today . Because today's generation is busy distracting people but we need to bring self control. If you want to understand yourself better.

It took me three years to get in this habit and now i don't need anyone. I don't like to share my problems with anyone because i don't feel it's necessary. I have made myself mentally strong to the point where i don't feel the need for a second person

In regards to my previous post about Fem Custodes

I have a few points to make If I made you mad. That's not my problem. I still hold the opinion that they should not be a thing due to 30+ years of lore stating that they have always been men. I have heard a few arguments.

"Its always been political"

Well yes but actually no. Internally it has its own set of politics depending on which faction you look at. You can have politics that are separate to the real world. A good example of that outside of the Warhammer Universe is Helldivers.

Helldivers developers Arrowhead decided that they would not put anything that would represent the real world beyond the fact that humans exist. They rejected putting things such as rainbow capes and country based capes because it would take away from the actual internal lore and would cause division in the community.

The people that want these things tend forced into the media/lore to be the people who wont actually play it because they never wanted it in the first place.

"Its just a small change what's the harm?"

Its a step. One small step towards creating female space marines. If you can make custodes gene seeds work in woman; then you can make the space marine ones work in them too because who cares any more?.

Its an active attempt at slowly moving the Warhammer universe and turning it into the grey sludge that only appeals to the "Modern Audience" filled with the political messages that only goes one way.

I wanted to enjoy the lore as an experience separate to my own existence. I want to use this as an escape of this work but I am seeing it slowly being infiltrated and ruining the immersion.

"There isn't enough representation in Warhammer40k"

Who the fuck wants to be represented in the universe that is basically one constant war. Were the standard imperial guardsmen (of which contain both genders) eat what is called "corpse starch".

To be fair in the spotlight there is mostly the Space Marines which is an all male team of genetically altered super humans (the Custodes are further up that chain and are seen as even more powerful than the average Space Marine). Space Marines are barely recognisable as humans due to the effect of the gene seed.

However if people actually looked they would find there is plenty of representation within Warhammer40k. There are many factions outside of the Space Marines that have both female and males on the frontlines of this eternal war.

Factions: Eldar (Male and Female) Dark Eldar (Male and female) Imperial Guardsmen (As mentioned before) Sisters of Battle (All female) Sisters of Silence (All female) Not sure about them: Tau: I know they take from many species and I am not so sure what they have on the male and female ratio.

Errm: Tyranids: Alien bug species, fuck knows what they have. Chaos: They will defiantly have both, Slannesh will torture fuck you all.

Speaking of Slannesh While often referred as male, he actually can be both and neither.

"GW can do what they wish with their IP"

Yes. There is not much to argue with there. They could even pull a Disney Star Wars and state that everything from the next codex is now the true canon and everything before it no longer exists. In my opinion this would be stupid.

"Warhammer40k is for everyone"

Is it tho? You seem to be ready to throw out many people who don't immediately agree with you.

No media in any form is for everyone. People have a preference and can not like things.

Using myself as an example. I don't like sports games. Therefore I don't play them as it's not for me. I am not demanding sports games change the entire premise and add things to attract me to the game.

In short if you don't like it, don't force yourself into it. If you are interested. Experience it before making decisions. and especially before you decide that you can change the entire hobby to fit you.

Make your own thing.

Chances are there will be an audience however small or large it may be.

Humans can’t help creating a narrative any more than we can help breathing. The second there’s someone else out there besides you, narrative exists. The moment our most ancient proto ancestors realized there were some who came before and some who would come after, narrative sprang into being. Narrative is what we think about our species, and the more people we become aware of, the bigger and more powerful it gets. It simply is, and while it can’t exist without us, it also exists separately and apart from each of us.

Narrative isn’t evil or good. It just is, like magnetism. It isn’t capitalism, but capitalism definitely uses it. Whatever mode of society we’re trying out at any given time uses it: capitalism, socialism, monarchism, feudalism, theocracy, etc. This isn’t about narrative’s inherent morality, because it has no more morality than magnetism does. It’s about how it’s used, and to what ends. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who want to use it for selfish reasons: to compel you to vote a certain way, shop a certain way, or set certain goals. The Great Heaving Mass is what happens when selfish people wrest control of our collective narrative away from the rest of us and use it to further their own ends, instead of the common good.

We’re all pretty good at seeing some of the Great Heaving Mass some of the time, and in those moments, we’re also pretty good at resisting it. But this is also its cleverness: it doesn’t try to overpower you, it overwhelms you. You could probably survive a blast of water for a short period of time. How long would you survive treading water in an endless sea?

My point with all this isn’t that we should avoid narrative, or flee to the woods, or shun anyone who tries to use narrative to push a message. Narrative can be used for good: the Black Lives Matter protests of 2020, the fight for marriage equality, and the current push to normalize the existence and acceptance of trans people are all good examples. Narrative can be used for fun, or for necessity, or for community building, and at its best, it inspires all of us toward a common goal.

I’m not suggesting we need to be afraid of narrative, but we do need to be aware of narrative.

The people that have bought into the Great Heaving Mass need you to forget that you’re living inside a narrative—and they really need you to forget that you can shape the narrative, too. These tools that have arisen in the past few centuries—printing presses, telegraphs, phones, radios and tvs, the internet—have given smaller and smaller groups of people undue power over the narrative, but they’ve given us that power, too. We have to band together more than they do to wield it, but we can band together and take that power for ourselves.

And it terrifies them.

I started the last post with "I'm so tired" too, but it just gets more true every day.

My last post was about how my real life sucks, but man, I can't even come to the internet as an escape from the intellectual collapse of academia anymore.

I'm just trying to browse in peace without being bombarded with people virtue signalling, advocating for media to be sanitized, and arguing over whether it's morally responsible to ship a character who is a literal murderer with someone that he said something mean to once.

Digital Detox

I’m almost at a week of my digital detox (I haven’t decided how long I wanna keep this up) no instagram, no TikTok and no YouTube, no Reddit no social media!!!!! and it’s been easier than I thought but that’s cause I downloaded Nextory so I’ve been listening to audio books and let me tell you guys it’s so refreshing to listen to a book.

It’s different from YouTube cause with YouTube you’re still bombarded with so much information especially for me cause I’m listening to productivity and law of attraction content and I’m getting fatigued by the over consumption of the same information.

with books it’s a lot more relaxing. with YouTube it’s like I’m watching 58383 videos on how to change my life but then I don’t even apply it. my brain is fried and it needs rest so I’m listening to books I want to read, so it’s not productivity books or self help books. It’s so cozy.

im not kidding when I say I’m listening to some pretty silly books but it’s alright cause reading is a hobby so I don’t need to pressure myself to read educational books all the time. We deserve to have hobbies for no other reason than entertainment in a world where everyone expects us to turn our hobbies into million dollar businesses. can we please get a break from the constant grind mindset?

I listen to a book while I cook and clean the apartment and then when I’m done I’m not dopamine deprived.

thanks to this detox I’m finding so much energy to plan a lot of stuff I’ve pushed off. I’ve even slept more out of pure boredom but it’s been sleep I’ve needed. I ordered 4 different Halloween costumes and I’m honestly so proud of myself cause last year I didn’t have the energy or focus to research and put together a costume in time.
